The problem is Keynesian economics. This economic school of thought has never worked in the past (ex. the great depression...which was extended as a result of this flawed theory), they are not working now, and they will not work in the future. As long as the dems (and some repubs) continue to subscribe to this theory.... we can expect much greater economic troubles ahead.

the majority of republicans are mentally ill, most believing in armageddon and invisible voices that arent thier being conservative christians so bill, thats like the pot calling the kettle black. when you believe in something long enough with enough christians believing were all doomed, things tend to unfold as they do and life teaches its own lessons and people get what they deserves.
much of the "job loss" is due to technology advancing and getting rid of jobs, an example is newspapers being less important and folding due to the internet. also overpopulation makes it hard for new buisnesses and technology to develope using search engines that are based on popular views, because unless you have 1 billion to advertise your buisness on tv, your new buisness's or technologys searchs result at 9,235,231 will not be read, most people dont go past page 2. in all overpopulation and technology as well as increases in visual technology make money less important and technology more important. the financial system set up is defunct, designed to support a few rather than the masses as well as completely corrupt, always has been always will be.

Well we allowed it. The illegals costs hundreds of billions of dollars per year, they take out jobs and we pay for them to be here, and now jobs are gone... I haven't worked in years even though I apply for every position with open hours and I have years of retail experience. I do believe the economy will collapse, and I am really disgusted with this country and how it ignores its citizens and rewards the criminals.

Although banks are greedy and Wall Street plunders the fundamental cause of all the cononimic upheaval is job destruction and wage stagnation. Jeremy Rifkin in his 1994 book "The End of Work" explains the 3rd Industrial Revolution arrived in 1940 and has now been replaced by the 4th Industrial Revolution which arrived in the 1960's (aronud 1968). Since the arrival of the 4th Industrial Revolution 60 million U.S. jobs have been destroyed. Job destruction and wage stagnation is permanent and escalating because the Ownership Class is Hell-bent on total automation so that they do not have to pay wages and commissions to human beings any more. The true unemployment rate in the U.S. today is 20% and will explode to 30% by 2020, 40% by 2030, 60% by 2040 and 95% by 2050 A.D.
A simple equation describes it all: Technology + Greed = Job Destruction + Wage Stagnation. The Ownership Class has decided to earn its money with computers, super computers, the information network, robots and
endless new technology and it will NOT GIVE ANY MORE MONEY to the Middle and Lower Classes who will become permanently unemployed and penniless- forcing governments around the world to dole out free housing, food, clothing, education, insurance and transportation lest civul unrest and violence occur. And the horror is about esclating job destruction is.....NOTHING CAN STOP IT!

It is clear that it is a combination of many things that have brought us to this point in US. Illegal immigration, huge government intrusion, over-regulation, health care costs, frivolous litigation, etc., I can understand why companies move overseas. Ridiculous taxation, regulation, intrusion, health care mandates, loss of freedom, etc. Just some of the things contributing to US economic trouble.

Get govt. out of the way and private sector would fix most of the problem and most Americans would benefit from the fix. Those left out of the prosperity of America, usually want to be left out. There are exceptions, and injustice it out there. But it isn't Govt. that should deal with the social ills of our world. Where is the Church?

I don't think that the intentions of the Club of Rome and the Bilderberg Group are as benevolent as you suggest.

You can bet we are headed for a lot of turmoil and perhaps the rising of another strong Hitler like figure who will try to take back the country from the greedy. Hopefully this new political wave coming will focus on America and not use old corporate 3rd world raiding practices like in the past.

Imagine - we have advanced tenfold in science in the last 50 years - yet we still have starving and people dying with no healtcare in this seemingly rich country. This makes the greedy look even more cruel and inhuman.
