112 Questions To Ask Yourself In 2012

The beginning of each year is a great time to evaluate the direction of your life and to ask yourself some very important questions.  Often we get so busy just living life that we lose our perspective.  It is important for each of us to take time once in a while to reassess how our lives are going.  It is also important for all of us to reassess the direction that our nation is heading in every so often.  The truth is that America has gotten badly off track.  We have abandoned the principles which once made this country great, and this country is literally falling apart all around us.  Hopefully the questions below will not just get you focused on our problems.  Hopefully they will also spur you to think about solutions.  Both individually and as a nation, we are in a lot of trouble.  We need to start asking better questions and we need to rediscover the things that once made America the greatest nation on earth.  If we are willing to humble ourselves and change course then there is hope for us.  If not, then the road that we are currently on will only lead to national disaster.

The following are 112 questions to ask yourself in 2012....

#1 Are Barack Obama and Mitt Romney really the best that America can come up with?

#2 Right now the nations of the world are 55 trillion dollars in debt.  How long will it be before this system of debt totally collapses?

#3 What things in life are you truly grateful for?  Do you ever take time to thank those that have been so good to you?

#4 In 2012, when you add the maturing debt that the Italian government must roll over to their projected budget deficit, it comes to 23.1 percent of Italy's GDP.  How in the world is Italy going to be able to handle that in this economic environment?

#5 What do you feel like you are missing in life?  Are you actively looking for those things?

#6 According to a survey conducted by the National Geographic Society, only 37 percent of all Americans between the ages of 18 and 24 can find Iraq on a map of the world.  What does that say about our education system?

#7 Do you give more than you take?  Would you rather serve people or be served?

#8 Why were gun sales in the United States at record levels as we entered 2012?

#9 What are you afraid of? Are those fears rational or irrational?

#10 168 million emails are sent every single minute.  Are we rapidly getting to the point of information overload?

#11 Do you care enough about other people?  Do you spend more time thinking about yourself or thinking about others?

#12 Why are there 18.5 million vacant homes in America today?

#13 Did you spend enough time with your family last year?  Will you spend enough time with them this year?

#14 The number of Americans on food stamps has increased by 20 million over the past five years.  What does that say about the state of the U.S. economy?

#15 Is your family prepared for what is about to happen to this world?

#16 Why do the poor in America just keep getting poorer?

#17 After you are dead, what will people be saying about you?  Will they miss you or will they be glad that you are gone?

#18 Why have 10 million more Americans fallen below the poverty line since 2006?

#19 What do you need to change about yourself?

#20 Should we all be concerned that doctors in India say that "incurable" cases of tuberculosis are showing up in India?

#21 Who do you know that could use some more love?

#22 Why is the Department of Homeland Security scanning Facebook and Twitter for "sensitive words"?

#23 Is your country a better place because you live there?

#24 Why is the FBI building a massive new biometric database?

#25 What do you think your life will be like ten years from now?

#26 40,000 new laws went into effect across the United States as 2012 began.  What does that say about the culture in this nation?

#27 If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would that be and why?

#28 What did Mitt Romney mean when he stated that he wants to "eliminate some of the differences, repeal the bad, and keep the good" in Obamacare?

#29 What is the best piece of advice that you have ever gotten?  Are you still following it?

#30 Is it a good thing that the wealthiest 10 percent of all Americans have 56 percent of all the wealth?

#31 What books do you need to put on your reading list this year?

#32 About half of all Americans are now either living in poverty or are considered to be low income.  So are we still a "wealthy" nation?

#33 What are the things that you do that waste the most time?

#34 Why aren't more Americans concerned that the trade deficit is increasing again?  This is one of the things that killed the Greek economy and it is most definitely sucking the life out of our own economy.  Could it be that most Americans have become so "dumbed down" that they don't even know what a trade deficit is?

#35 What would happen to you and your family if you suddenly lost your job?

#36 How is Germany able to build twice as many cars every year as the United States does?

#37 Have you done anything worth remembering lately?

#38 Why is the average age of a vehicle in America now sitting at an all-time high?

#39 If you only had one day left to live, how would you spend that day?

#40 How stupid are the American people for piling up 700 billion dollars in credit card debt?

#41 Is there anything that is worth giving your life for?

#42 If Obamacare is so great for working people, then why are so many unions requesting (and getting) Obamacare waivers from the federal government?

#43 Do you believe that you can be a hero?

#44 Why is the government allowing genetically modified mosquitoes to be released in the United States?

#45 What is one great decision that you can make right now?

#46 Why is Mitt Romney taxed at a lower rate than most middle class Americans are?

#47 If someone gave you one million dollars today, how would you spend it?

#48 Who decided that it would be a good idea for TSA "VIPR Teams" to set up thousands of internal checkpoints across the United States every year?

#49 What is the number one thing on your Bucket List?  Why haven't you done it already?

#50 Why is the federal government spending billions of dollars to militarize local police departments across the United States?

#51 If it was possible, would you want to live forever?

#52 Should we be concerned that 30% of all Americans get arrested by the age of 23?

#53 Where would you rather be than right here right now?

#54 Why did the D.C. government pass a new law that protects the rights of rats?

#55 Which is greater - the number of people that you love, or the number of people that you hate?

#56 Are CEOs really 243 times more valuable than the average worker is?

#57 What will your legacy be?

#58 Is the massive swarm of earthquakes that New Zealand is experiencing a sign that the "Ring of Fire" is becoming more active?

#59 What would your plan be if there was a major volcanic eruption on the west coast of the United States?

#60 If 63 percent of all mortgaged properties in the state of Nevada are still "underwater", then how in the world can anyone claim that there is a light at the end of the tunnel for the housing crisis?

#61 Why is the federal government arresting people who produce raw milk?

#62 Is the world on the verge of an absolutely nightmarish water crisis?

#63 What are you really good at?  Are you using that skill to make a difference in the lives of others?

#64 Why is the U.S. government giving nearly half a billion dollars every 12 months to an organization that performs about 300,000 abortions a year?

#65 What is the meaning of life?

#66 Why are so many Planned Parenthood executives earning well over $100,000 a year?

#67 How can you make tomorrow better than today?

#68 While the TSA is groping millions of Americans at airports every year, rampant sex trafficking is going on in virtually every major American city.  Isn't it time that we admitted that our allocation of law enforcement resources is very seriously flawed?

#69 How can you make next week better than this week?

#70 One recent survey found that only 29 percent of people would describe themselves as "very happy".  So what does that say about the state of our country?

#71 Do you consider yourself to be good?  If so, how did you determine that?

#72 If we are on the verge of a global recession, then why is the stock market still so high?

#73 What would happen if government spending was cut by 50 percent?

#74 Is the euro going to eventually fall to parity with the U.S. dollar?

#75 If the euro fails, what will Europe do?  Would national currencies make a comeback or would a new "European currency" be created?

#76 Are we getting dangerously close to a war in the Middle East?

#77 What would happen to the price of gasoline if foreign oil supplies from the Middle East were suddenly cut off?

#78 Is Germany going to just stand by and watch Greece default?

#79 Is it likely that your eating habits will send you to an early grave?  If so, why not make this the year when they change?

#80 Why aren't politicians from either major political party doing something to stop the massive flood of blue collar jobs that is pouring out of this country?  Don't they care about average Americans?

#81 Why do we spend so much time on things that simply do not matter?

#82 Since 1971, consumer debt in the United States has increased by a whopping 1700%.  Is that a sign of a nation that is going to be prosperous in the long run?

#83 Does the U.S. need a new major political party?

#84 The U.S. debt problem continues to escalate.  During the Obama administration, the U.S. government has accumulated more debt than it did from the time that George Washington took office to the time that Bill Clinton took office.  Very few of our politicians seem alarmed by this.  Are we the stupidest generation in American history?

#85 Does the U.S. need a new Constitutional Convention?

#86 When we finally see the U.S. economy collapse, who will be in better shape - those that have spent years preparing or those that have not prepared at all?

#87 Are you so afraid to fail that you simply do not even try anymore?

#88 We are facing the most horrific retirement crisis in U.S. history.  Right now, more than 10,000 Baby Boomers are turning 65 every single day.  So where in the world are we going to get all the money we need to pay them the retirement benefits that we have promised them?  Isn't the Social Security system essentially one gigantic Ponzi scheme?

#89 If people started following your example, would that be a good thing?

#90 According to one Gallup survey, 7 out of every 10 Americans believe that religion is losing influence in the United States.  Is that good for America or bad for America?

#91 Do you ever do anything that is outside of your comfort zone?

#92 The U.S. dollar has lost well over 95 percent of its value since the Federal Reserve was created, the U.S. national debt is more than 5000 times larger than it was when the Federal Reserve was created and Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke has a track record of incompetence that is absolutely mind blowing.  So what possible justification is there for allowing the Federal Reserve to continue to issue our currency and run our economy?

#93 If you lost everything that you currently own, would your life be over?

#94 If the European financial system is going to be just fine, then why is the UK government preparing feverishly for the collapse of the euro?

#95 When you meet someone for the first time, do you tend to instantly love them or do you tend to instantly judge them?

#96 If the one thing that almost everyone in the Republican Party seems to agree on is that Obamacare is bad, then why is the candidate that created the plan that much of Obamacare was based upon about to run away with the race for the Republican nomination?

#97 Do you feel like you are truly alive?  If not, what can you do to change that?

#98 Why have we allowed the "too big to fail" banks to become even larger?

#99 Who are you living your life for?  Does the answer to that question excite you or depress you?

#100 One recent survey found that 77 percent of all U.S. small businesses do not plan to hire any more workers.  So where are all of the jobs for the "economic recovery" going to come from?

#101 As you have gotten older, have you also become more loving?

#102 Since 1964, the reelection rate for members of the U.S. House of Representatives has never fallen below 85 percent.  How stupid can the American people possibly be?  They keep sending the exact same Congress critters back to Washington D.C. over and over and over.

#103 Do you treat others the way that you would like to be treated?

#104 According to a recent Pew Research Center analysis, only 51 percent of all Americans that are at least 18 years old are currently married.  Back in 1960, 72 percent of all U.S. adults were married.  Without strong family units, can America survive?

#105 Do you prefer to forgive those that have hurt you or do your prefer to hold long grudges?

#106 According to an analysis of Census Bureau data done by the Pew Research Center, the median net worth for households led by someone 65 years of age or older is 47 times greater than the median net worth for households led by someone under the age of 35.  So why are so many young people so broke?

#107 Do you tell your family and your friends that you love them or do you just assume that they already know?

#108 According to the National Center for Children in Poverty, 36.4% of all children that live in Philadelphia are living in poverty, 40.1% of all children that live in Atlanta are living in poverty, 52.6% of all children that live in Cleveland are living in poverty and 53.6% of all children that live in Detroit are living in poverty.  How bad are things going to be when the economy gets even worse?

#109 If Bill Gates gave every single penny of his fortune to the U.S. government, it would only cover the U.S. budget deficit for about 15 days.    How in the world can we justify putting so much debt on to the backs of future generations?

#110 How do you want the story of your life to end?

#111 Will the years ahead find you cowering in fear or will they find you enjoying greater adventures than you ever dreamed of?

#112 If you had the opportunity to tell everyone in America one thing, what would it be?

#113 I WOULD TELL EVERYONE TO BUY SOME GUNS AND AMMO. BUY SOME BACK UP FOOD AND WATER. LEARN HOW TO RAISE ANIMALS. LEARN HOW TO GROW SOME FOOD. HAVE SOME NEIGHBORS THAT WILL DO THE SAME THING AND WILL WATCH YOUR BACK AS YOU WATCH THEIRS. AND MAYBE YOU WILL SURVIVE.

    • Luis

#113 Richard, with all due respect my friend, I would tell everyone to put their faith in the Lord God Omnipotent, not in guns, for the Bible says:

“The LORD your God walks in the midst of your camp, to deliver you and to give up your enemies before you.” Deut. 23:14

“The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.” Psalm 34:7

“I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Heb. 13:5

“When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.” Isa. 59:19

“I will contend with those who contend with you, and I will save your children.” Isa. 49:25

I could go on and on… the Bible is full of promises of blessing and protection, but they are only for God’s children. I hope everyone reading this will find refuge in the Lord, and hide under His wings until the storm is passed (Psalm 57:1). In return He gives the promise of eternal life and that wonderful peace which surpasses all understanding! Phil. 4:7

BTW Richard, the rest of your advice sounds good to me. :) We definitely need to do all we can to prepare. I just believe Christians should leave their defense in the hands of God.

      • http://YAHOO RICHARD

LUIS, I AM A BELIEVER AND I BELIEVE GOD HELPS THOSE THAT HELP THEMSELVES. I DON’T BELIEVE GOD EXPECTS ME TO SIT THERE AND LET SOMEONE KILL ME AND MY WIFE AND CHILDERN SO THEY CAN STEAL EVERYTHING I HAVE SAVED TO KEEP MY FAMILY ALIVE. IF THE CHILDERN OF ISREAL WOULD OF HAD THAT ATTIDUDE THEY WOULD OF PARRISED IN THE WILDERNESS.

        • Hosanna

“God helps those who help themselves” is nowhere in the Bible. In fact, the spirit behind those words is what got humanity kicked out of paradise in the first place.

Take Joshua for example. When Joshua inquired of God and followed God’s plan the Israelites prospered and succeeded. BUT when their enemies came disguised after the victory at Jericho, God was not consulted and the Israelites made a bad bargain.

God will have a plan in place for those believers who sincerely desire to do his will. They will not need to worry only obey. Whether they are slaughtered or delivered out of the hands of the enemy, either way, through obedience God will be glorified.

Personally I believe God will spare some and let others be slaughtered. Those who die will go to heaven and those who must stay and endure more suffering will be purified like no others before them. Either way, count me in, because doing things “my way” is the devil’s way and always has been.

          • Oliver

“God helps those who help themselves” might not be in the Bible. But I believe “Trust in God and keep your powder dry” is.

        • Bob

Richard; ALL of the israelites except Moses and Aaron perished in the wilderness. They wanted to return to Egypt and slavery to get food and shelter. Only their descendants survived to enter the Promised land.

        • Phil C.

The accurate quote from Aesop’s fable of “Hercules and the Waggoner” is: “The gods help them who help themselves.” It is pagan in origin. If it actually originated with Aesop, that would put it c. 600 BCE, long before Shakespeare and Franklin. It may only have been collected and written down by Aesop, in which case it could be much older.

      • r.bitting

May God bless you and reward you for your faith… Well said.

    • REED RICHARDS

      RICHARD,

Sure they’ll survive. Just like all the Branch Davidians at Waco and the entire Weaver family at Ruby Ridge. It’s over, Bub. The masses have lost, and rightfully so, because they never cared about freedom in the first place as indicated by their voting patterns, their short attention spans, and their vastly limited intelligence……

  • tappedps

#112… Wake the hell up… this is Our rock not theirs…

    • REED RICHARDS

      tappedps,

Wrong. This “rock” belongs to the ownership class, not the masses. And if you disagree, challenge the power structure in a serious meaningful fashion and see what happens……..

  • mondobeyondo

Who’s going to win the election in November?
Will it be Barack Obama? Or Mitt Romney?

Hoo-boy. I hate easy, difficult choices.

Does it really matter? You might as well choose…

A dead skunk in the middle of the road
Dead skunk in the middle of the road
    Stinking to high heaven.
    Come on, stink!

Aren’t you glad you’re living in interesting times?!

  • mondobeyondo

“God Bless America, land that I love
Stand beside her, and guide her
Through the night with the light from above”…

Um… it’s too late in the evening to give this some serious thought. Good night, everyone!

  • mondobeyondo

Thought I’d add a few more questions to Michael’s list.

    113. Life is hell.

No, not really. Hell is even worse than you can imagine. It is a real place, and I’m dead serious about that. Don’t go there. Please, don’t go there.

I suggest you read the Bible for further info.

    114. Mondo, can you fly?

Yes, of course! I prefer US Airways, but Delta works as well. I’ve never flown British Airways though. And I’m certainly not sailing on that cruise line whose ship just sunk off Italy.

    115. Why is the sky blue?

    Because it isn’t green.

    116. Will the global economy collapse this year?

Yes. If not this year, definitely by 2017.

    • mondobeyondo

      Oh yeah, about number 115:

Because the sky is blue, it makes me cry.
Because the earth is round, it turns me on.
Because the wind is high, it blows my mind.

John Lennon was a genius. I really miss him.

      • r.bitting

Should we put you on the prayer list Mondo?

  • NWO Alert

If we are willing to humble ourselves and change course then there is hope for us. If not, then the road that we are currently on will only lead to national
    disaster.

EVERYTHING IS IN PLACE AND NOBODY CAN STOP US NOW

Some of you will think I’m talking about Communism. Well, what I’m talking about is much bigger than Communism!

At that time he indicated that there is much more cooperation between East and West than most people realize.

He went on to say that most people don’t understand how governments operate and even people in high positions in governments, including our own, don’t really understand how and where decisions are made.

He went on to say that people who really influence decisions are names that for the most part would be familiar to most of us.

He went on to say that they were not primarily people in public office, but people of prominence who were primarily known in their private occupations or private positions.

There would be changes that would be very surprising, and in some ways difficult for people to accept.

Everything is in place and nobody can stop us now.

  • Paul

Are Romney and Obama the ONLY ones America can come up with?

Do you really just have two political parties?

Are you really that afraid of deviating from past courses?

  • Paul

The debt system will never collapse as long as the tax payer pays (via the politicians) the interest to the banks.

As soon as you go to barter your goods and the tax flow stops, it will be more difficult to get the money flowing.

  • Cyrus

Well, here are some more you may have to make in 2012.
    http://codgerville.wordpress.com/2011/12/29/15-decisions-you-may-have-to-make-in-2012/

No matter what, 2012 will be a watershed year for all of us, in every country.

    # 71…. No one is righteous, not even one. Romans 3:10.. Whatever the law says, it says to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh shall be justified in his sight, for by the law ( 10 commandments ) is the knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed, being witnessed by the law and the prophets, even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference. For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God set forth as a propitiation by his blood ( death on the cross ) through faith, to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his forbearance God has passed over the sins that were previously commited, to demonstrate at the present time his righteousness, that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.. Romans 3:19-26…. ” Justified ” = just as if you had never sinned, because now through faith in Christs sacrificial death on the cross, where he satisfied Gods righteous requirement for justice to be served by dying in your place, you now have the righteousness of Christ in Gods view.. 2 Corinthians 5:21.. Please turn to Christ for the forgiveness of your sin and return to God who loves you.

#112 If you had the opportunity to tell everyone in America one thing, what would it be?

Ask questions, never stop asking questions.

  • Bobby Smith

#112 If you had the opportunity to tell everyone in America one thing, what would it be?

Give me as much money as you give your congressman, along with the perks.

  • Jeff

This is an excellent list of questions, starting with #1. I have learned some things of value just by reading them. Thank You.

  • McKinley Morganfield

#48 Who decided that it would be a good idea for TSA “VIPR Teams” to set up thousands of internal checkpoints across the United States every year?

#50 Why is the federal government spending billions of dollars to militarize local police departments across the United States?

Our president, commander in chief of the czars, has the answer to these 2 questions:

“We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.” — Barack Hussein Obama

  • http://www.youtube.com/thepreparedpastor PreparedPastor

    And five more:
    1. Why are people in Third World countries often happier than Americans?
    2. What kind of person burns fossils fuels to heat water while they are on vacation so they do not have to wait for it to heat up when they return?
    3. Do you possess the skills to provide my family with food, water, heat, shelter, and safety or have I outsourced those making myself a slave to the dollar?
    4. Do you have eternal life or are you trying to cram everything into just a few years?
    5. What comfort do you enjoy today (central heat/air, autos, etc.) that you would be willing to give up so that you can have a better tomorrow?

  • Lennie Pike

#1 – America didn’t come up with either one of them – the chief banksters are European.

Americans will sure vote for one them though because Americans don’t think for themselves (if at all), through propaganda they are told what to think and who to vote for.

    • Lennie Pike

Conservative talk radio is the arm of the propaganda arm of the banksters that takes care of fooling conservative Americans to vote for Republican candidates.

The fact that you will never hear any criticism of The Federal Reserve and Wall Street, or endless war on conservative talk radio proves it. Actually, you will never hear either of those topics even mentioned.

The t.v. nightly news takes care of the liberal Americans. It also makes conservative talk radio more effective in the brainwashing of conservatives because it gives them a clear distinction that further enforces as truth the opinions they are fed.

The PROPAGANDA IS ALL ABOUT DESTROYING AMERICA TO MAKE THE NWO POSSIBLE.

If you think that any part of the U.S. economic, legal, regulatory, or political system is as it appears (used to appear) – that it operates on honestly and on good faith, you’re probably watching the nightly news, or listening to conservative talk radio.

If you know the U.S. does not operate that way any longer, why do you continue to subject yourself to brainwashing?

      • Malcolm Reynolds

Hey Dummy, You do know the FED is the creation of the left doncha?

Conservative radio is the propaganda arm of the banksters? …not so much.

Surely you’re kidding right? …Nope, you’re prolly an indoctrinated leftist.

Please tell me who ran MF Global. …Jon Corzine

Is that person left or right? HUGE lefty.

What was MF Global invested in that caused their failure? …investing in European (socialist) sovereign debt.

What did MF global do to this country that will cause a run on the investment banks once everyone figures it out? …made it legal to take YOUR money from your investment account (the little guy) and give it to the big guys (Goldman, George Soros) to cover their losses – to the tune of over a billion dollars.

Now tell me why conservative radio would defend or propagandize for that – rationally?
Please, go educate yourself. You’ve been duped by the left.

  • ScoutMotto

#91 is an interesting one. In the last few years, I’ve done several new things outside of my comfort zone, and am almost ready to do more. Taking a few chances at a variety of leadership tasks has felt rather rewarding. Who knows, when the economy in the nation collapses, perhaps I’ll have something to offer the masses. All of us visiting this site may be called upon to help others as the times get much rougher.

  • Bill

    Michael

I just read the first paragraph. Without reading any further I can sense that you realize that the only thing that will stop our country’s decay is real change coming not from rediscovery but re-establishing the values of our still great country.

I look forward to the remainder of the article and hope you will direct furure discussion toward political change of values. We must reject those who have put America on the wrong path.

I love your website! I look forward to reading your blogs. Is there a way to get notified when you post new blogs?

    • Michael

      Kimberly:

I try to post new articles 5 or 6 times per week, so if you check once per day you will usually find something new.

Also, if you look at the top of the site, there is a link that says “By Email”. If you sign up that will send the articles directly into your email box.

    Michael ,

About the lack of success in the US Education system, we have also a big problem in france…..

French people from 18-24 years old have probably more culture than theirs US mates, but make a lot of mistakes writing french, and are often unable to create their own thought, even in the best universities in france !!!!

in our GREAT superior “Schools”, after 18 years old, students are like “machines”…. they grab an amazing amount of knowledge, transform it and write it during 7 hours writing tests. but they have the same clothes and the same hair cut ….

Learning how to think is the BASIS, acting with your heart is very useful, the knowledge…. it’s not the most important

  • Pamela Licatino

Look up and put your trust in God. We are at a point in our life when God says enough is enough. Things are getting worst because of the decisions that we have made and make each and everyday as a nation and individually. It’s time to bend your knee and pray.

  • Michael

    Michael,

USA was the greatest nation in the world because of his ability for innovation and working together !!!

You have win WWII because of your factories , more than because of your soldiers. You have built more aircrafts, boats, tanks than japanese and german could destroy!!!! the famous Japanese Officer Yamamoto was not motivated for a war against USa, and said ” we will be successful only for 6-12 months”. HE WAS RIGHT !!!!

it’s the same reason China is now number one !!!! from my part in FRance, to build again, USA, your political executives must forget to stay the “”" First State in the World”" and emphasize the local efforts !!!!

The answer is in the basic american man and family, not inside corporations. Complementary currencies are a great tool !!! and forget his credit cards also !!!!! ;-)

  • REED RICHARDS

    Michael,

I won’t answer all 112 questions, but just a few I find significant at this time:

#1 Are Barack Obama and Mitt Romney really the best that America can come up with?
NO, BUT THAT IS ALL THE MASSES WANT

#6 According to a survey conducted by the National Geographic Society, only 37 percent of all Americans between the ages of 18 and 24 can find Iraq on a map of the world. What does that say about our education system?
WHAT IT SAYS IS THAT THE EDUCATION SYSTEM IS WORKING AS THE POWER ELITE WANTS IT TO WORK. THEY WANT DUMBED DOWN DRONES WHO CAN TAKE ORDERS AND NOT CHALLENGE THEIR POWER, NOT FREEDOM LOVING, INDEPENDENT MINDED PEOPLE WHO CAN THINK FOR THEMSELVES.

#90 According to one Gallup survey, 7 out of every 10 Americans believe that religion is losing influence in the United States. Is that good for America or bad for America?
THIS IS GOOD FOR AMERICA. RELIGION IS USED TO JUSTIFY WAR, DEATH, AND DESTRUCTION. CHRISTIANS DID NOT STAND AGAINST LYNCHINGS IN THE JIM CROW ERA SOUTH, AND WARS AND CRIMES OF TODAY, AMONG OTHER THINGS. OLDER GENERATIONS NEED TO DIE OFF AND YOUNGER ONES NEED TO TAKE OVER AND RESTORE ORDER TO THE WORLD BY ARRESTING CRIMINALS AND MAKING LOGICAL AND RATIONAL THOUGHT THE CENTERPIECE OF A REBORN SOCIETY.

#105 Do you prefer to forgive those that have hurt you or do your prefer to hold long grudges?
GRUDGES SHOULD BE HELD AND THOSE WHO BETRAY OTHERS AND COMMIT UNSPEAKABLE CRIMES SHOULD NEVER BE FORGIVEN. THE HUMAN RACE NEEDS TO LEARN THAT THERE ARE SOME LINES THAT SHOULD NEVER BE CROSSED…………

#112 If you had the opportunity to tell everyone in America one thing, what would it be?
YOUR SOCIETY IS SUFFERING GREAT PAIN AND MISERY AND WILL SOON COLLAPSE. AND IT DESEERVES TO COLLAPSE. WHY? BECAUSE, INSTEAD OF CHOOSING LEADERS IN THE PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTOR WHO ARE HONEST, FORTHRIGHT, AND HAVE A PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF REAL SKILL AND ABILITY IN THEIR CHOSEN FIELD, YOU CHOOSE THOSE WHO ARE MEDIOCRE AND WORTHLESS AT BEST AND IRREDEEMABLY CORRUPT AT WORST; THOSE WITH THE MOST MONEY AND CELEBRITY WHO MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD ALTHOUGH YOU PERSONALLY ARE GETTING NONE OF THEIR FAME AND FORTUNE, SOCIOPATHS AND PSYCHOPATHS WHO PROMISE TO KILL AND IMPRISON THE MOST PEOPLE AND WHO PROMISE TO MAKE YOU THE FATTEST OFF OF THE SOMETHING FOR NOTHING WELFARE STATE. A MASS POPULACE THIS FOUL AND DECADENT HAS NO ONE TO BLAME BUT ITSELF FOR ITS EVENTUAL DEMISE. THE ONLY WAY TO TURN THIS AROUND IS A FULL PARADIGM SHIFT IN POLITICAL, SOCIAL, AND ECONOMIC THOUGHT. RATIONALITY AND LOGIC MUST REPLACE CHILDISH AND UNTHINKING EMOTION AS THE CENTERPIECES OF ONE’S LIFE.

    • Jo

You seem to be one of very few on here that has rational thought and not subjecting everyone else to religious babbling and doomsday BS.
Your answer to #90 is spot on. Religion and politics should NEVER EVER mix.

      • REED RICHARDS

        Jo,

Why thank you, Jo. I shed any inkling of being religious long ago. I do not subscribe to any of these cults, their scriptures, and their authoritarian leanings. Only a rebirth based on logical and rational thought can save anyone, if there still be time to save anyone. We are the silent majority, for most people will not say what I say openly for fear of being ridiculed, being made an outcast, etc. etc. This is why I do not sympathize with people in this world whose wounds are self-inflicted. You can’t shoot yourself in the head and then complain about being shot.

  • Cinderella Man

#3 Im grateful for my awesome family and true friends. My grateful to be sober and employed. Im grateful for being awakened from the lies. Im grateful that I will never have to sleep in a car ever again.

#9 Im not really afraid of anything anymore. Fear is a lack of Faith. I guess if I ran into a pack of wolves or armed federal agents I would feel fear but can control it.

#25 I have no idea what my life will be like in the next 5 years. The way that the world is going I hope not starving in a post-apocolyptic hellhole.

#27 Jesse Ventura, man the shit I would love to mull over with him!

#29 Dont sweat the small shit, never piss against the wind, good fences make good neighbors.- Grandpa (RIP) “Women are like buses, if you chase them you only get left behind.” -Harley Davidson & The Marlboro Man

#43 If I can help the younger kids in my life get on the right track and not make the mistakes I made, I guess that heroic enough for me.

#47 Thats easy. Pay off all debt, buy my mama a new car, buy my Dad a truck. Invest in land and hooves.

#51 Hell no I dont want to live forever. Were not like the elves in Lord of the Rings and still look good when we’re a thousand!

#55 I definetley love more than hate, I dont really hate people just some of the ideas that the control freaks have. Once someone imposes their will on me, then I hate them.

#61 They are control freaks. They dont want us to eat healthy. They want us sick all the time, so we have to spend money on the expensive cures.

#81 Ignorance is bliss. Its all about pointy shoes and orgasams.

#91 I have been outside my confort zone for over a year. I have done so many new things my life is totally opened up. I never had to beg for help, never drove tractors and big grain trucks, never worked around livestock. Its amazing.

#93 I have lost everything before. Just now starting to rebuild. Remember Fight Club “The things you own, own you.” or “Once you lost everything, you’re free to do anything.”

#112 “Keep hope alive, it’s always darkest before the dawn and the dawn is coming, RON PAUL 2012!!!”

  • http://www.povertylinejournal.blogspot.com/ the optimist

Wow, what a great list. I’m going to go through that a few time, but just one thought on

#83 Does the U.S. need a new major political party?

Yes, I think it’s time. Independent candidates don’t stand a chance. How would one get organized and legitimized?

  • Syrin

Of course we can do better thna Romney and the Teleprompter Tyrant, but the media LOVES their tyranny and will do everything to defend Obamugabe and hide the truth. They attack ANYONE who passed econ 101 and has even a modicum of fiscal restraint/sanity, all endorsed by the greedy Gary’s of the world, while the US economy races full speed ahead to the iceberg.

  • mark

#46 is an interesting question. We shoud inquire about the whole group of tax payers within. Congress thought that investment in business was good for the country as a whole. By taxing long term capital gains at a lower rate more capital could be reinvested in business and more jobs could be created in our econmoy. This in turn would create more wealth that could be spread through out our economy. This does work. We have created a problem for american workers by exporting jobs off shore. The wealth has been shared with others in the world instead of being kept here. We need to cut the costs of doing business here by cutting regulations and red tape. We need to shrink the cost and size of government to be compete with the rest of the world. This might also include wage cuts in some industries if we are to have them here. If we do not take these measures the jobs will continue to leave to lower cost countries. Now to the question of Mitt Romney’s tax rates. He has made most of his money as an invester and as such he pays the 15% rate. I would bet most of us out there would like to be in the same position in how we earn our living. We should look at what his tax return will look like. Let’s say that he earned for round figures 10 million last year. Who knows it could be 50 millin or 5 million but lets stay with 10 million. He would pay 1.5 million to the federal government. He would pay somewhere around 10% to the state he resides in unless he lives in a no income tax state. So that is another million. He owns a lot of homes that are worth a lot so he pays a lot of property tax, so that could be $500,000 more. He pays sales tax like the rest of us. He also pays a 10% tithing to his church plus fasting offering to help feed the needy. That contributin by choice would be around another million. Let’s see,Joe Biden gives how much to charity? He even gave fifty bucks to a lady the other day. He will not brag about the large donations he has made to charity unless you drag it out of him. That is part of his culture to not do so. So be careful to not make him out to be a bad guy because he has done well in business. He is a very smart man when it comes to investment choices. Is Mitt the answer to turning our long term spending problem around? Probably not. Americans will not at this time vote for someone that will cut spending and lower taxes at the same time to make a big difference in our lack of growth and debt problem. He would be a darn sight better than Obama. You could vote for a rock and it would do less damage to our country than Obama is doing. If you think that taxes on capital gains should be raised then change the tax laws. I for one do not think we pay to little to the government in taxes. We pay to much for a bloated pusball called the federal government. Before we start the class warfare in full I would suggest that you read an article about the disparity in wealth creation by Thomas Sowell in Investers Business Daily today.

#1 Yes. Anyone one with sense knows it is too late to deflate the debt bubble.
#2 Considering Japan’s debt-to-GDP ratio, as we can get away with buying our own debt with fiat money.
#3 My wife, my daughter, and my brains through which I protect and provide for both of them.
#4 Italy is at the mercy of those who control the Euro just as we are at the mercy of the Fed.
#5 I miss my Porche collection, but not the insurance costs. My truck will run on used motor or vegetable oil, so I will have to be content with that.
#6 My mother was an early teach union advocate so I can attest that unions toward the focus of education away from children. BTW, can you find Iraq on a map?
#7 I give so much more than I take that my epitaph may be that I wasted my life on other people, but that is what is expected of a pastor.
#8 When people do not know what to do, they do what other people are doing and buying something is a whole lot easier than doing something.
#9 As a father old enough to have grandchildren, I fear I will not live long enough to raise my newborn daughter. I am taking less risks and better care of my health.
#10 We passed that point long ago so we just ignore most of the information and focus on what we want to hear.
#11 it is easy to say yes, but click on my user name if you want proof.
#12 If you lent me $100,000 would you rather save face and say you had an empty $20,000 or admit you were foolish enough to lose all of it.
#13 I do not golf or go bowling or do anything without my family except provide for them.
#14 The poverty levels have been raised so high that one can own a nice home, a used car, have cable TV, etc. I lived near the poverty level even when I made several times as much.
#15 My family will endure our violent transition to a third world country in a solar-powered, wood-heated, defendable, secluded retreat with hot and cold running water and a couple year food supply.
#16 Poverty is a product of ability and expectations.
#17 One child asked her mother if I was Jesus because they told her in Sunday school that Jesus could do anything.
#18 See the answer to #14.
#19 I need to become more focused. Just because I can do anything does not mean I should.
#20 Yes, get out of major cities now so you have a warning to isolate your family when pandemic comes.
#21 Most people won’t even look a homeless person in the eye. I America that means you don’t matter.
#22 It is the most efficient means of finding homegrown terrorists. I do not like it, but I understand why.
#23 I pay my taxes and am not a burden on it so yes it is.
#24 Biometrics is the most cost effect way to track people.
#25 I expect we will be living full-time at the secluded retreat and work will not be a job, but harvesting fuel and stoking the fire and hunting and farming, but with even more communications through the Internet.
#26 That tells me there are a lot of fears and people are scrambling to solve unsolvable problems.
#27 I would have dinner with the Leader of Iran and try to understand if his goal is really a one-world caliphate.
#28 He is trying to get elected so he is saying vote for me and everyone will get want they want.
#29 Stay out of debt. I did not follow it when I was young, but have not had a house payment in seventeen years.
#30 As King Solomon said 3,000 years ago, “the rich rule over the poor” so if you want to rule then get rich by spending less than you earn and investing the difference or stop complaining.
#31 I really need to read more fiction. I usually go to sleep reading something like Peterson’s Field Guide to Edible Wild Plants.
#32 What we consider to be ‘in poverty’ is wealthy elsewhere in the world. A family of four here was considered ‘in poverty’ in 2011 at $22,350. More than FOUR times the average family income in Mexico.
#33 Reading and posting on web sites like this one.
#34 American are concerned about what they see in front of them or what they do not in the event American Idol is preempted for a political debate.
#35 All my current income is split between paying down my wife’s unsecured debt and putting up hard assets for a rainy day so nothing would really change in our daily lives.
#36 I neither know or do not care. Cars are a convenience. Most people in the world do not have one. I have a truck and a motorcycle, but still ride the bus to work.
    #37 I helped a 41 year-old never married man find a wife.
#38 Vehicles have been mostly about egos, but lately they are going back to being transportation.
#39 I would spend my last day with my family in a resort hotel so I did not have to prepare or clean anything.
#40 No dumber than the politicians and economists who say spending is the key to fixing the economy. Besides, unsecured debt is like borrowing from your grandma if you have no nonexempt assets when you file bankruptcy.
#41 Whatever one believed in more than themselves.
#42 Your pretense that Obamacare is good for working people is flawed.
#43 I’ve been a hero (firefighter) so yes I do.
#44 Someone wrote a heck of a grant proposal.
#45 If I knew of a great decision to make it would have already been made.
#46 Mitt Romney’s earnings are not taxed at a lower rate. His money’s earning are because investment risk requires a greater return. Anyone can save and invest their own money at the same rate.
#47 I would buy a bigger retreat and lay up more supplies so I could help more people.
#48 The greater your scope of control, the greater your compensation. Someone probably got a promotion for this idea.
#49 Not really a bucket list, but I need to install the 12volt plumbing in my cabin.
#50 They are expecting anarchy and not supposed to use our own military against us.
#51 I already have eternal life, just not in this body.
#52 If you look at that statistic closer you will see that is not across the board. We have pockets where crime is the example that children learn how to survive in this world.
#53 I would rather be home with my daughter, but traded a little of that time for a paycheck so that when the economy dictates me to be home with my daughter she will have everything she needs.
#54 People do what they are incentive to do. We pay them to pass laws. All the good ones were taken.
    #55 I love everyone. It’s my job. I’m a pastor.
#56 Every layer of responsibility requires an increase in pay. Only a fool would accept more responsibility for less money. The pay is a result of too many layers of management.
#57 He did what he said he was going to do.
#58 Maybe, but one thing for sure the Bible says they are one sign we are living in the last days.
#59 That is one reason I do not live in the west as experts suggest. I would have sufficient warning to get to the retreat if necessary. I would spread plastic over my farm land and scrape off any ash and burn more wood while eating food storage for a couple years until the sun came back.
#60 The light at the end of the tunnel are people running toward you! If wages stay the same, but commodities rise, the difference has to come from housing or transportation. Cutting out cable is not going to be enough.
#61 See the answer to #54
#62 Parts of it are. We actually have more rain here and since I can treat a 50 year supply, I am not concerned. People will have to go where the water ease as this did throughout history.
#63 I am really good at building organizations. It does not matter whether our goal is to build a church or a retreat group, the skills are the same.
#64 They have better lobbyists because they have government contracts.
#65 It is a test for the next plain of existence. Most people fail.
#66 Planned Parenthood is spending government dollars so why should they care?
#67 Tomorrow I am teaching a Bible Study.
#68 Fearful people will always give up liberty for security.
#69 What is wrong with this week? Why does everything always have to be better?
#70 Happiness is getting what you want. Contentment is learning to want what you get. They have the wrong goal because we can come up with infinite wants.
#71 No one is good except God. The best I can hope for is to try not to act badly.
#72 Inflation means it takes more dollars to buy the same item. Even stocks.
#73 A lot of people would lose their jobs and go without until we could be a new economy.
#74 Know one cares unless they have Euros as long as their dollar still buys a double cheeseburger.
#75 In the short-term national securities would come back until they could replace this failure with a bigger one – one world currency.
#76 Yes we are. I just hope to make it till spring when my underground tanks are installed.
#77 The same thing that happened to Iphones. Price gouging.
#78 If Greece will not be assimilated. We are borg.
#79 I eat pretty well and have already cut out soda pop for the most part which was my bain.
#80 Politicians do not have blue collar jobs so why should they care were they go. It’s not like a blue collar guy that loses his job is going to be elected to take theirs.
#81 I think everyone wants to put their mark on the world or at least their part of it. Sometimes the only place one feels they can be successful is on an X-box.
#82 No. That is a sign of a fallen nation that is doing everything it can to stay prosperous just a little while longer. If you’re already bankrupt, why not put some groceries on the credit card?
#83 A new political party would either fail or become just like our old political parties which were once new.
#84 The generation who was running things in 1935 were actually the stupidest generation because they planted the seed we are harvesting today through the Social Security Act. Maybe they are in fact the smartest because they already got their social security benefits and left the mess for us to clean up.
#85 We just need to enforce the existing Constitution.
#86 If I did not believe I would be better off, I would not have spent thirty years preparing. I would have bought a boat.
#87 I do not try to live the American Dream not because I am afraid, but because it is an act of futility.
#88 I actually did a sermon series on this. Everyone is going to get every penny they have been promised, but it worthless dollars with little adjustment for inflation.
#89 People are following my example and are better of for it. They can sleep when the wind blows.
#90 Losing our religion is bad for America. Our debt crises is a direct result about ignoring the Bible’s teaching.
#91 Whenever possible as I am an adrenaline junky.
#92 Change involves pain. The Biggest Loser contestants puke their guts out the first day. Ending the Fed would be the economic equivalent.
#93 I do not know how I could lose absolutely everything unless you know where my silver is buried, but to answer your question – No. I got everything by my own hand and can do it again.
#94 For the same reason people are told to stay seated during a plane crash. The economy depends mostly on confidence and people running around acting crazy won’t help anyone and gives some those who are proactive time to prepare.
#95 I love everyone. Sometimes I have to judge the actions of those in the church (1 Corinthians 5). It’s not fun.
#96 Obamacare is perceived to be bad (which it is) because it was jammed down our throats. The truth is that healthcare costs are going to drag us under and there is nothing we can do about it, but who wants to hear that when they hear we can remove the bad parts and keep the good and everything will be OK.
    #97 Oh Yeah!
#98 We did not let them fail so it is our fault they exist altogether so we have lost the opportunity to dictate what they do from here. It’s like saving Hitler’s life.
#99 God which sometimes bums me out since I am holding so many unfulfilled promises (Mark 10:29-30)
#100 I just got a government job! It’s only temporary, but I am getting paid for four months of training to cover for someone on maternity leave for two months after which I will qualify for the maximum unemployment benefit while working on my retreat.
#101 I would not say more loving, but certainly better at expressing it.
#102 I would not say Americans are stupid, but that generally speaking everyone is stupid. Jesus called them sheep for a reason.
#103 Unless I am upset with them. Then I treat them poorly.
#104 As Tyler Durden said in the movie fight club “We are a generation of men raised by women.” Manhood is not something that is achieved, but bestowed on us by other men. Women do the best they can to make up for absent fathers, but it’s not working well.
#105 Bitterness is the poison we take in hopes of harming someone else.
#106 Young people have grown up in an environment of instant gratification. I had to mow grass and save money to go to Sear and order a tape player that arrived at the store in 4-6 weeks. Today one can order an mp3 player on line and have it shipped overnight and pay it off (with interest) over the next few years.
#107 I have to remind myself, but I tell them.
#108 In those locals things are going to get worse and in other locales things may become as bad as those things are. People need to move somewhere they have an expectation of success before those places disappear altogether.
#109 How much debt is acceptable to put on other generations. The rational thinking is there must be an acceptable number because it was done to us.
#110 If I could live to see my grandchildren being taught the things I will teach my daughter that would be a great legacy.
#111 Fearlessness is a mental illness I have been accused of having. I am not looking forward to living a harder life, but I am prepared to do so. I have learned from my time in the mission field that it takes very little to be content.
#112 Do not look back on your life and realized that you spent so much time in the digital world that you missed it.

It looks like the Keystone pipeline isn’t happening since the vacationer in chief says he needs more time to identify an endangered worm, weed or bacteria.

Canada’s prime minister has said that the Canadians will look to partner with China if the U.S. rejects the Keystone pipeline and the tens of thousands of jobs it would provide.

Is the president’s claim of having a “laser focus” on jobs referring to jobs that Canada and China will partner to create?

  • William

The most important question is this:

Do you think a 100 ton Boeing airliner disappeared into the 16 ft wide hole in the wall of the Pentagon on 11 Sept 2001, leaving no trace of two 6 ton jet engines made of specialty metals with extremely high melting points.???

Until the TRUTH is told about the events of 911, America will continue to decline and eventually collapse into a police state run by the modern day Chekists. If you do not know who Moses Uritsky or Lavrenti Beria was, you have little chance of survival.

    • Steve

That’s completely idiotic. How about the hundreds of witnesses that saw the plane crash? Use some common sense, man!

      • Lennie Pike

Common sense tells me that due to no remaining parts of a jetliner, and only a 16 foot wide hole, that if there were 100 witnesses – they were all lying.

In what way do you want me to use common sense? There is no other way – that’s the definition of common sense.

In D.C. coming up with 100 liars in the area of the Pentagon wouldn’t be that difficult.

    • mondobeyondo

It’s easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle, than for a Boeing 767 jetliner to create a 16 foot hole in the Pentagon.

    1. Appears so
    2. Not real long, year or two
    3. I thank her everyday ;-)
    4. I really do not care as they neither care about me
    5. Good weather to go fishing with my lovely wife
    6. So since when has this been new news?
    7. I do not take as I am retired. I sure ain’t giving it away to make anyone feel better either. We would also like to be left alone to help those we elect to.

“7 out of 10 believe that religion is losing influence in America.”

It is far worse that reason is losing influence in America. While such men as Ron Paul may be right headed about economic and ideological matters, the ultimate implication of the mysticism they embrace makes there arguments arbitrary and baseless.

    All A is A!

Nice PP! Fight Club has so many good lines. I swear David Lynch was ahead of his time with that movie. Oh and Michael Jesse Ventura is my first pick for dinner, but you would be second, I think that I would have alot to talk to you about!

These are all valid questions that everyone should be asking themselves. Personally I think people should ask themselves what they have done to combat SOPA. BTW your articles regarding SOPA and PIPA were very informative and inspiring.

I have constructed my own article regarding SOPA at

  • Nostradamus

America is in the dumps now because people wanted it that way. Unwittingly, perhaps unknowingly, of course. For a generation, people wanted the good life, the easy life, the Dream and the Empire, Shock & Awe on TV, the SUV, new gadget every quarter. And so they gave powers to their leaders to make it happen. It did not matter how the leaders make it happen, as long as the good stuffs just keep happening. Oh yes, ever less tax and ever more social benefits – in direct violation of basic physical laws.

As it turned out, too much of the good stuff happened on debt. And so it is time to do some repayment. There is no point complaining or regretting. The country has only 2 options: spend the next decade to repay the debt (just like Japan), or magically create a decade worth of extra wealth in a year or two (even Japan can’t do that).

What stupid and arrogant people. A people who based the raw reality of life on phantom gods and contradictions cannot claimed to belong to the first world.

This is the mega-trend, the mega-fact, anchored by raw economics and natural laws. No politicians, no business leader, no financial manipulations, and no amount of BS smoke and mirror can change it.

    Accept it. Deal with it.

    • mondobeyondo

Our current economy is based on debt, the whole debt, and nothing but the debt.

You thought I was going to say “truth”, didn’t you?
      Gotcha!

      • Nostradamus

The truth about debt is: you gotta pay up.

The truth about credit is: creditors don’t write off debt.

  • Steve

Michael, good list of questions, but you left out the most important one (you hinted at it in several places, though): If you die today, do you know without a doubt that you would go to heaven? Why?

This is also the one thing that needs to be told to EVERYONE we meet (#112).

  • DownWithLibs

    Off topic:

Our illustrious leader just sided with foreign oil and eco-terrorists AND reneged on his promise to promote jobs by squashing the oil pipeline from Canada!!! Unbelievable.

The above questions could be placed in the following categories:

    Economics / Politics 36
    Education 5
    Freedom / Security 9
    Morality 8
    Personal Assessment / Goals 45
    Prepping 8
    Technology 1

    Total Questions 112

If you want answers to the first 50 questions (economics, politics, education, freedom, and security), you need to learn more about the New World Order.

America has already lost the war with the New World Order.

If you want to survive World War III, you need to work on your prepping.

The Antichrist will destroy the New World Order. If you want to survive war with the Antichrist, you need to work on morality, personal assessment, and personal goals.

  • Lennie Pike

No, now You are going to have to be the one that tells me why conservative radio IS defending MF Global – not “why would they defend it?”, as you claimed.

I know exactly what happened at MF Global and what the thieving actions of J.P. Morgan and the CME were.

Conservative talk radio (and the t.v. nightly news) have totally ignored the story, and the story is Huge – it proves there is no rule of law in the U.S. – so it is obvious that both conservative radio and the nightly news are defending the banksters of which John Corzine is one.

You showed that your reading comprehension is almost non-existent by saying that I am a liberal because you did not catch my criticism of the t.v. nightly news and how they take care of the brainwashing liberal Americans. Also – I DID NOT SAY THAT CONSERVATIVE TALK RADIO IS CONSERVATIVE!!! – did I? That is only the name used to identify it. Conservative talk radio is not about conservatism – if it were, they would not ignore and now attack Ron Paul – a true Conservative. Talk radio is about maintaining the position of the Elite over the rest of the suckers, (the history of the world) just as is the rest of the mainstream media. Wake up already.

The people behind the federal reserve don’t think in terms of liberal or conservative either and neither do I. They think in terms of wolves and sheep, elites and slaves, and they are using conservative talk radio and the liberal main stream media in a game of good cop bad cop to gain total control of the world.

You’re going to have to give me a few examples of when and where conservative talk radio criticisms were made of MF Global to keep yourself from looking like the dummy.

Not many politicians are left or right, they are gangsters. Political parties are gangs. John Corzine is a gangster and it is stupid to label him left or right as it is for most politicians. If what you said about him buying the debt of a socialist country was meant to paint him as a liberal, (it wasn’t clear) that makes you look very ignorant because the bet he made was that the debt would be defaulted on. What, do you think it was a case of a liberal trying to help out a socialist country?

Whoever has the power to create money out of thin air controls and owns just about Everything – including conservative talk radio – dumbass.

    • Lennie Pike

Make that ESPECIALLY conservative talk radio and the t.v. nightly news.

In every single case throughout history, when any free country is overthrown by totalitarian tyrants, absolutely the first thing that happens in every case is an immediate takeover of television, radio, and newspapers, etc..

The following are 112 questions to ask yourself in 2012….
#1 Are Barack Obama and Mitt Romney really the best that America can come up with? (No, but the fix is already in)
#2 Right now the nations of the world are 55 trillion dollars in debt. How long will it be before this system of debt totally collapses? (Very soon)
#3 What things in life are you truly grateful for? Do you ever take time to thank those that have been so good to you? (Ken; our kids; my friends; the fact I’m not out on the street. I thank Ken all the time (Particularly after getting my DL photo. I thanked him profusely for staying with me). I thank my kids and friends and relation less often than I should (I love you guys)
#4 In 2012, when you add the maturing debt that the Italian government must roll over to their projected budget deficit, it comes to 23.1 percent of Italy’s GDP. How in the world is Italy going to be able to handle that in this economic environment? They can’t. Jeeeeez!
#5 What do you feel like you are missing in life? Are you actively looking for those things? Money and my 25 year old body. No, I can recognize “pointless” when I see it.
#6 According to a survey conducted by the National Geographic Society, only 37 percent of all Americans between the ages of 18 and 24 can find Iraq on a map of the world. What does that say about our education system? It sucks since NCLB, and lots of kids aren’t very bright.
#7 Do you give more than you take? Would you rather serve people or be served? Usually give more. I’d rather serve than be served so I don’t “owe” anyone. Depending on the person, of course. There are some people to whom I don’t wish to be obligated.
#8 Why were gun sales in the United States at record levels as we entered 2012? We’re all scared and paranoid. Of course, you’re not paranoid if they really ARE out to get you.
#9 What are you afraid of? Are those fears rational or irrational? Poverty in old age, losing any of my family, the government. Rational, particularly the latter.
#10 168 million emails are sent every single minute. Are we rapidly getting to the point of information overload? We’re already there. Our brains are fried which is the only explanation for BO and Congress being given even one ounce of credibility.
#11 Do you care enough about other people? Do you spend more time thinking about yourself or thinking about others? Yes. Some days, it’s all me, me, me, of course.
#12 Why are there 18.5 million vacant homes in America today? Real Estate Bubble crash (Duh) Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Barney Frank, Chris Dodds and the usual gang of thieves. There’s money to be made from other peoples’ pain. Bastards!
#13 Did you spend enough time with your family last year? Will you spend enough time with them this year? No and No
#14 The number of Americans on food stamps has increased by 20 million over the past five years. What does that say about the state of the U.S. economy? It’s in the toilet and all the lies about things getting better is another, particularly evil, propaganda lie from the government.
#15 Is your family prepared for what is about to happen to this world? I don’t know that you can prepare sufficiently for what is coming. I don’t know exactly what “IT” is, so am sure we’re not prepared.
#16 Why do the poor in America just keep getting poorer? Gov’t dependency, no jobs, inflation, lack of self-control, medical costs, taxes on business and the fact that if you get far enough down, you can’t get back up. It’s a law of physics.
#17 After you are dead, what will people be saying about you? Will they miss you or will they be glad that you are gone? My family and friends will be sad, but I don’t expect anyone will notice much. Old women are invisible. My mother made quite an impression, but I’m not like her. Don’t think anyone dislikes me enough to be glad the bitch is gone.
#18 Why have 10 million more Americans fallen below the poverty line since 2006? No jobs (another Duh), NAFTA, CAFTA and all the other —-tas. China and the trade imbalance. OSHA, EPA, Obama’s idiot rulings, taxes on business.
#19 What do you need to change about yourself? My crappy attitude.
#20 Should we all be concerned that doctors in India say that “incurable” cases of tuberculosis are showing up in India? It’s already shown up in Mexico and it’s a small world. You should be concerned, obviously, if you don’t want to die from TB.
#21 Who do you know that could use some more love? Many, but this is an idiotic question.
#22 Why is the Department of Homeland Security scanning Facebook and Twitter for “sensitive words”? Power and Control by the Trolls.
#23 Is your country a better place because you live there? Doubt I make much difference. I’m not that important.
#24 Why is the FBI building a massive new biometric database? Power and Control by the Trolls, Again……. 2012 = 1984
#25 What do you think your life will be like ten years from now? Still hanging in there, older and more tired
#26 40,000 new laws went into effect across the United States as 2012 began. What does that say about the culture in this nation? Power and Control by the Trolls. I should just copy, cut and paste that one. It fits most of the time.
#27 If you could have dinner with anyone in the world, who would that be and why? My dad and Ken. We have many questions for Dad, which I wish we had asked earlier. Keith and Kathy are also invited.
#28 What did Mitt Romney mean when he stated that he wants to “eliminate some of the differences, repeal the bad, and keep the good” in Obamacare? He’s an asshole and a traitor and is in it for the money and power. It will end up being enacted because both parties are the same thing with the same goals. Power and Control and more money for them.
#29 What is the best piece of advice that you have ever gotten? Are you still following it? Keep your powder dry. Yes.
#30 Is it a good thing that the wealthiest 10 percent of all Americans have 56 percent of all the wealth? Of course not.
#31 What books do you need to put on your reading list this year? More Survival Porn. Yeaaaa! (For my less paranoid friends and family, it’s not actually porn, as in sex, but preppers love apocalypse books and crave reading them.)
#32 About half of all Americans are now either living in poverty or are considered to be low income. So are we still a “wealthy” nation? Of course not. Again, how obvious is that????
#33 What are the things that you do that waste the most time? Answering blog questions and reading doomer porn.
#34 Why aren’t more Americans concerned that the trade deficit is increasing again? This is one of the things that killed the Greek economy and it is most definitely sucking the life out of our own economy. Could it be that most Americans have become so “dumbed down” that they don’t even know what a trade deficit is? Most people are really stupid and too scared to pay attention.
#35 What would happen to you and your family if you suddenly lost your job? Homelessness and starvation. We’re too old to start over again, not that starting over is even a possibility for anyone anymore.
#36 How is Germany able to build twice as many cars every year as the United States does? It’s Germany, the Master Race.
#37 Have you done anything worth remembering lately? Remembered by whom? Probably not.
#38 Why is the average age of a vehicle in America now sitting at an all-time high? Joblessness and inability to pay for one, maybe. Just a guess. These questions are becoming annoying.
#39 If you only had one day left to live, how would you spend that day? With Ken, rafting down the Mad River. Hope it’s summer!
#40 How stupid are the American people for piling up 700 billion dollars in credit card debt? How stupid would you guess?
#41 Is there anything that is worth giving your life for? My husband, children and grandchildren. I’d make a lousy soldier, or Secret Service agent, because I wouldn’t die, willingly, for BO, MegaButt or the country.
#42 If Obamacare is so great for working people, then why are so many unions requesting (and getting) Obamacare waivers from the federal government? Because it’s a huge scam and everyone knows it, but no one can do anything about it. The Unions own Obama and they recognize a dead rat when they see one. Fortunately for them, they have enough leverage to avoid it.
#43 Do you believe that you can be a hero? Absolutely
#44 Why is the government allowing genetically modified mosquitoes to be released in the United States? So they can kill us all off. The US is bankrupt and there’s no money to fund anything, including health care. The more of us are dead, the more is available for our corrupt government.
#45 What is one great decision that you can make right now? Never vote for an incumbent.
#46 Why is Mitt Romney taxed at a lower rate than most middle class Americans are? AGAIN…Because wealth equals power. Romney has it, we don’t, so we get to pay all the bills. I dislike Romney but will vote for him in an effort to foil the wicked Obama.
#47 If someone gave you one million dollars today, how would you spend it? I’d like several million, please. I’d share it with our kids and friends and buy a house in AC while still keeping this one. Summer in Ohio, Winter in Kansas.
#48 Who decided that it would be a good idea for TSA “VIPR Teams” to set up thousands of internal checkpoints across the United States every year? Probably Janet Napolitano, Eric Holder and BO. Ya think??? Power and Control. Just keep saying it until you have it thoroughly memorized.
#49 What is the number one thing on your Bucket List? Why haven’t you done it already? Going to Europe with Ken. We aren’t making plans because Europe is going to blow up pretty soon and we also can’t afford it. Maybe another trip to Colorado and New Mexico????
#50 Why is the federal government spending billions of dollars to militarize local police departments across the United States? Power and Control. See???? I’m going to refer to it as P&C from now on which will save me lots of time. I’m investigating the likelihood of Fusion Centers in our area and yes, the gov’t is militarizing the local PDs. I volunteer for one.
#51 If it was possible, would you want to live forever? Considering the way things are today, No.
#52 Should we be concerned that 30% of all Americans get arrested by the age of 23? Yes, because the U.S. is becoming a Thug Nation and when the food stamps stop, the riots begin.
#53 Where would you rather be than right here, right now? Victorian England if we were wealthy.
#54 Why did the D.C. government pass a new law that protects the rights of rats? PETA probably squawked and besides, the government requires the fleas from the rats to spread the Plague.
#55 Which is greater – the number of people that you love, or the number of people that you hate? The number of people I love. Don’t think I actually hate anyone at all, although they are a few I dislike intensely.
#56 Are CEOs really 243 times more valuable than the average worker is? Probably not, although it depends. How lame is the average worker and how brilliant is the CEO? Again, probably not.
#57 What will your legacy be? The Tolles/Wommack genes make it on down the line. I personally haven’t done much at all, other than my children.
#58 Is the massive swarm of earthquakes that New Zealand is experiencing a sign that the “Ring of Fire” is becoming more active? Maybe. Chris, Sam, Brady and I are all interested in geology, and this is a possibility. Check out “Quake Sheet” if you’re interested.
#59 What would your plan be if there was a major volcanic eruption on the west coast of the United States? Stay in Ohio or move back to Michigan. (Ithaca, not Detroit!)
#60 If 63 percent of all mortgaged properties in the state of Nevada are still “underwater”, then how in the world can anyone claim that there is a light at the end of the tunnel for the housing crisis? No ethical or intelligent entity can or would, but this doesn’t stop the government lies. P&C.
#61 Why is the federal government arresting people who produce raw milk? P&C. It’s hard to make the populace totally dependent on the Gov’t if they can take care of themselves. Better to starve half the nation which makes the other half a slave to TPTB. This is happening in our Amish area, and we’re following it as closely as possible. The Amish have a big target on their back, and even the local media won’t cover it. Ohio has a law which is supposed to “discourage salmonella”, as though anyone wants to encourage it, so Farmer’s Markets are probably a thing of the past. The fees/taxes on a booth are higher than you can offset, and roadside stands are now illegal. Don’t know how much longer I’ll be able to garden before I’m forbidden to, for my own protection, of course.
#62 Is the world on the verge of an absolutely nightmarish water crisis? Hope not, but certainly don’t know.
#63 What are you really good at? Are you using that skill to make a difference in the lives of others? Bookkeeping and gardening. A small difference, maybe.
#64 Why is the U.S. government giving nearly half a billion dollars every 12 months to an organization that performs about 300,000 abortions a year? The devaluation of human life. P&C and no moral sense.
#65 What is the meaning of life? Beats me!
#66 Why are so many Planned Parenthood executives earning well over $100,000 a year? P&C. With power comes money. The more corruption, the more money.
#67 How can you make tomorrow better than today? Today? Bed rest and fluids. I have the flu. I think the question means “How can you make tomorrow better for everyone else?” Right now, I don’t care. I have the flu.
#68 While the TSA is groping millions of Americans at airports every year, rampant sex trafficking is going on in virtually every major American city. Isn’t it time that we admitted that our allocation of law enforcement resources is very seriously flawed? Good luck with that. The sex trade makes money, the abolition of it costs money. Which side do you think will win?
#69 How can you make next week better than this week? Give Obama my flu?
#70 One recent survey found that only 29 percent of people would describe themselves as “very happy”. So what does that say about the state of our country? 71% have a clue and are sober.
#71 Do you consider yourself to be good? If so, how did you determine that? I try to be, with varying results. Using Judeo-Christian standards, I’m not bad.
#72 If we are on the verge of a global recession, then why is the stock market still so high? P&C. False sign of financial stability, plus the banks and the rich don’t want to lose anything, and the appearance of a rise makes the peon keep hoping for better things and fail to realize everything is rigged.
#73 What would happen if government spending was cut by 50 percent? Who gets to allocate the cuts?
#74 Is the euro going to eventually fall to parity with the U.S. dollar? And probably below.
#75 If the euro fails, what will Europe do? Would national currencies make a comeback or would a new “European currency” be created? No idea. I think they’re probably screwed, at which point it will become ClusterFuck Continent.
#76 Are we getting dangerously close to a war in the Middle East? We’re already there. Watch for China and Russia who will pounce at a bad time for us.
#77 What would happen to the price of gasoline if foreign oil supplies from the Middle East were suddenly cut off? What do you think???? (Duh, #3)
#78 Is Germany going to just stand by and watch Greece default? Probably. Germany is sick of being the adult of Europe and they’re strongly into self-preservation.
#79 Is it likely that your eating habits will send you to an early grave? If so, why not make this the year when they change? No, and give it a rest.
#80 Why aren’t politicians from either major political party doing something to stop the massive flood of blue collar jobs that is pouring out of this country? Don’t they care about average Americans? Are you kidding? Of course they don’t care. Blue Collar doesn’t have enough money to influence the Power Elite. The fewer people sopping up profits from the PEs means more money for them. Blue Collar right now equals “eaters” and “breeders”, neither of which the Power Elite want or need.
#81 Why do we spend so much time on things that simply do not matter? Boredom.
#82 Since 1971, consumer debt in the United States has increased by a whopping 1700%. Is that a sign of a nation that is going to be prosperous in the long run? No. Duh #4, big time.
#83 Does the U.S. need a new major political party? New party, same old corruption. We need less Washington.
WE aren’t. WE have no power to change anything. Maybe we were stupid to let DC get away with this, but the system is totally rigged against us. We are the French peasants of the 21st century.
#85 Does the U.S. need a new Constitutional Convention? Good night, NO! Why give the TPTB a chance to kill it and bury the body.
#86 When we finally see the U.S. economy collapse, who will be in better shape – those that have spent years preparing or those that have not prepared at all? All of us preppers! Assuming we don’t get shot in the fields first.
#87 Are you so afraid to fail that you simply do not even try anymore? No. We keep plugging along. Sometimes it’s even fun.
#88 We are facing the most horrific retirement crisis in U.S. history. Right now, more than 10,000 Baby Boomers are turning 65 every single day. So where in the world are we going to get all the money we need to pay them the retirement benefits that we have promised them? Isn’t the Social Security system essentially one gigantic Ponzi scheme? See my forecast of old, broke and homeless above.
#89 If people started following your example, would that be a good thing? In some things, yes; in others, no, obviously.
#90 According to one Gallup survey, 7 out of every 10 Americans believe that religion is losing influence in the United States. Is that good for America or bad for America? Superficially, it’s bad. Practically, it’s good. In the long run, Believers tend to be more ethical and kinder (my opinion) which makes for a more stable country and nicer people. In the real world, most true believers strongly believe God will work a miracle, stop the corruption, punish the wicked and save the innocent. Historically, He hasn’t done that, which makes the true believer less likely to confront the situation as it is, and not as they want it to be.
#91 Do you ever do anything that is outside of your comfort zone? All the time. Going to Lima is outside my comfort zone, or that of any rational person.
None, but that won’t stop it. Big Duh, #5. P&C,
#93 If you lost everything that you currently own, would your life be over? Probably, although we have insurance. Don’t know how long that will last, of course. Insurance companies are NOT going to make it through the coming mess. I like to garden, but my younger days of being able to survive by hunter/gathering, wearing a mini-skirt of raccoon skin and sleeping under a bush are way over. Arthritis and age are a bitch.
#94 If the European financial system is going to be just fine, then why is the UK government preparing feverishly for the collapse of the euro? The Brits are neither naïve nor stupid. Neither are the Germans. Watch those two for what does or does not work. However, you have to remember that Britain is no longer Britain as we knew it. A nation of immigrants and thugs as is Germany to a lesser extent. Both countries have suffered riots and shortages. Multiply those by several hundred, add in millions of pissed off white and ghetto trash teens and you get America pretty soon.
#95 When you meet someone for the first time, do you tend to instantly love them or do you tend to instantly judge them? Neither. In Lima, I look to see if they have a knife or gun. In Waynesfield, whether they are with someone I actually know.
#96 If the one thing that almost everyone in the Republican Party seems to agree on is that Obamacare is bad, then why is the candidate that created the plan that much of Obamacare was based upon about to run away with the race for the Republican nomination? Because (again) the two parties are inter-changeable and there are a lot of laws to be passed and a lot of money to be pilfered. P&C, P&C, P&C.
#97 Do you feel like you are truly alive? If not, what can you do to change that? Yes. I am well aware of it every time I throw up or cough. Give it time.
#98 Why have we allowed the “too big to fail” banks to become even larger? One more time….P&C, P&C, P&C. Corruption pays.
#99 Who are you living your life for? Does the answer to that question excite you or depress you? Ken, me and Auglaize County (taxes). Neither, it just is what it is.
#100 One recent survey found that 77 percent of all U.S. small businesses do not plan to hire any more workers. So where are all of the jobs for the “economic recovery” going to come from? They aren’t going to come. Hello!
#101 As you have gotten older, have you also become more loving? No. Meaner and nastier and less gullible.
#102 Since 1964, the reelection rate for members of the U.S. House of Representatives has never fallen below 85 percent. How stupid can the American people possibly be? They keep sending the exact same Congress critters back to Washington D.C. over and over and over. WE are not stupid. This question implies that your vote actually counts or that you can actually make a difference. Never vote for an incumbent.
#103 Do you treat others the way that you would like to be treated? Try to.
#104 According to a recent Pew Research Center analysis, only 51 percent of all Americans that are at least 18 years old are currently married. Back in 1960, 72 percent of all U.S. adults were married. Without strong family units, can America survive? I don’t think it’s going to survive in any recognizable form, no matter what we do.
#105 Do you prefer to forgive those that have hurt you or do you prefer to hold long grudges? I’m a huge grudge holder. Not nearly as bad as my husband. Ask him sometime about the Blue Spruce on Greenway, back in the mid 80s.
#106 According to an analysis of Census Bureau data done by the Pew Research Center, the median net worth for households led by someone 65 years of age or older is 47 times greater than the median net worth for households led by someone under the age of 35. So why are so many young people so broke?Computers, cell phones, clothes, games, cars, cost of living, cost of housing, no jobs, high inflation.
#107 Do you tell your family and your friends that you love them or do you just assume that they already know? Yes, I tell them, but WTF? This has gone from an interesting philosophical exercise to Oprah.
Riots, starvation, FEMA, martial law, collapse. Should I continue?
#109 If Bill Gates gave every single penny of his fortune to the U.S. government, it would only cover the U.S. budget deficit for about 15 days. How in the world can we justify putting so much debt on to the backs of future generations? It can’t be justified, of course. However, we don’t have a choice. What a stupid question!
#110 How do you want the story of your life to end? Don’t care. I’ll be dead. I would prefer Ken outlive me and that the death isn’t painful. However, I have no control over this.
#111 Will the years ahead find you cowering in fear or will they find you enjoying greater adventures than you ever dreamed of? Neither. Probably just trying to cope and stay under the radar. Adventure is for twenty-year-olds.
#112 If you had the opportunity to tell everyone in America one thing, what would it be? WAKE UP! Resist the government a little bit every day and give them some pushback. Not enough to end up in detainment camp because no one can help you, but enough to make their job harder. Screw up something a little bit for them every time you get a chance when it won’t harm you. Buy and store some staples. Keep your powder dry!

    The big question:

Newsweek features a story by writer Andrew Sullivan about President Obama. The cover headline? “Why Are Obama’s Critics So Dumb?

The answer is simple-those on the right are all low information dolts!

What do you feel like you are missing in life? Are you actively looking for those things?

Lots of CASH-show me the money!

#91 I don’t think I have a comfort zone….I have a tendency to push the envelope. I must admit, I lead an interesting life. #43 been there, a couple times. #8 that should be obvious! #27 My kids! #29 I’m not always going to be here, you have to learn to fight your own battles. My dad when I was 10.

I like the list of 112 questions. Some are pretty darn good. Thanks. WRT to replacing Obama, if it is not Ron Paul, then expect more of the same wrt our liberties. The country is moving towards fascism at a rapid pace with Obama. Only Ron Paul would throw a monkey wrench into the agenda being fulfilled now, the rest, being of the same mind as the New World Order weenies, would continue the work that began in earnest with JFK’s assassination.

Yes it is amazing all the warning signs have been around us for a long time now. I started buying and selling long term food. I don’t think I get rich doing it but I use it as an avenue to educate people and if I can help atleast one person be prepared, then I will feel like I had done something good.

Well firstly get rid of porno, online, magazines and tv shows that show such rubbish. Stop the lust in movies etc etc and teach our children they have a conscience, a respect to themselves and our country. Clean up our act. Bring the word of God back into the classroom. No need for the cane, but discipline needs to be there in some form. Change everyones attitude to say “no to road rage”, no to drugs, no to murder, no to rape and no to stealing. Like a dirty house, spring clean it and chuck all the rubbish out. Remember the saying i heard once, “if Jesus was to come into your house today/night what would you do”. Don’t think i don’t have to clean my place out because sadly i have been caught out wanting also.
    Sincerely
    Scooterocca
