Just found your site. Wow I’m totally overwhelm with the info. I’m currently living paycheck to paycheck as a single parent with two kids. I haven’t been on welfare but things got very, very close. I’m downsizing and stretching every penny. I’m biggest debt – student loans. In the last couple of years I’ve really noticed how bad things are getting. My grandma always said learn the old ways you never know when you may need them. I thought about that last night while I was hand washing clothes in the bathtub. Then hanging them to dry.

Every society has poor people.

Most Americans are sitting there at their do-nothing jobs, getting big pay checks to do nothing, then come home to:

Big houses.
Big televisions.
Big boobies.

and relax on a big couch, eat big plates, and grow more obese by the second.

Not to mention the big vacation for two weeks, twice a year.

America = Big, fat, lazy, useless people, who are rich for doing nothing.

Hi Michael and crowd i just discovered your site and i am impressed first of all let me start with my background i am a mid 30 black man born in Africa that did my middle school in france high school and college in the usa. and now live in canada for the past ten years were i work in finance and own a house.What has happened to the USA is simple you are being turned into a welfare state and stripped of your wealth moral values and health. Obama is a catastrophy to both minorities whites and any one that believe in free markets. Second of all as an African, i know damn well that Obama is not an African American since hes not a descendant of slaves. the Blacks that follow him and are so proud dont understand that they have a lot more in common with any haitian or jamaican that they do with Barrack Obama, i know i am of African orgins and i can relate a lot more to him than to any African American we look the same but our backgrounds are completely different, sort of like Greeks and Italians are a lot closer to each other than to the germans although they are all (whites).i wish luck to you guys back in the USA because you will need it.
Since the first world was created by the relentless exploitation of the rest of the world. the logical last people left to exploit are westerners. Hi,

I would like to make a few points in reference to EG White’s quotes that you have posted here.
One; what does the Bible say about oppressed labor and oppression of the working people in general? I believe the gist of what the Bible says is that the ultra wealthy who have taken advantage of the workers will have to be held accountable.

Two, what would Mrs. White or anyone think about the oppressive practices of Chinese labor camps? OR about 12 year old girls working more than 8 hours a day for a proverbial (actually closer to literal) nickel and a cup of rice? This is what labor unions were created for. To stop the gross mistreatment of workers from the hands of the owner class.

Third, I am with you all the way on moving to the country and getting out of the cities. I am with you on looking for the 2nd return of Christ soon.

Do we want to show the world an explanation / personal belief about why our economy is in the dumps by presenting these quotes of EG White?

As a friend of mine who is not a Christian has elucidated; the reason we don’t have jobs is because they’ve been outsourced to wage slave nations like China.

Perhaps it could be that the very first outsourcers did so to avoid paying union wages. But that does not fix the problem of outsourcing.

Again, I hope and pray for our personel lives to rely more upon the Lord because we know these times are coming no matter what the reason.
