I met with three couples this week. Each had between 20,000 to 50,000 in credit card debt. They also have about the same amount of student loan debt. The student loan debt can’t be eliminated in the bankruptcy. Therefore, it survives with no statute of limitation but never seems to be paid. This debt will never be able to be paid. It is just impossible. Oh, did I tell you their education has not helped them find a job.
