Mob Robbers And Rampant Looting: Is This The Future Of America?

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

Have you ever heard of mob robberies?  What happens is that dozens of young people storm a store at the same time, take whatever they want, and then storm out as powerless store clerks watch helplessly.  Most of the time these “mob robbers” end up getting caught, but unfortunately “group crime” is a trend that is rising.  Is it a sign of the times that large groups of people are starting to recklessly invade retail establishments?  Is this the future of America?  As I have written about so frequently, the U.S. middle class is being destroyed by this economy and large numbers of our young people are losing hope.  Frustration and anger are rising from coast to coast and millions of Americans are losing faith in the system.  The thin veneer of civilization which we all take for granted is already starting to disappear.  So what is going to happen when the economy collapses?  As our economic system fails, mob robberies and rampant looting are only going to become more common.  Let us hope that the economy can hold together for at least a couple more years, because once society falls apart things are going to get really, really ugly in our major cities.

Are you prepared for what America is going to look like during the next Great Depression?  It isn’t going to be pretty.  Over the past couple of decades we have gotten hints of what America is going to look like when society breaks down, and those hints have been very frightening.

This first video is a news report about the mob robberies that have taken place in Minnesota recently.  What would you do if you were a store clerk in this situation….

Unfortunately, these mob robberies are not just an anomaly.  The American people really do seem to be losing it.  Over the past couple of years, some almost unbelievable brawls have been breaking out in restaurants and in retail establishments all over the nation.

In addition, who could forget the wild mob scenes that erupted at stores all over America during the most recent Black Friday holiday sales?

Of course we all remember what happened during the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.  All along the Gulf Coast looting was rampant.  Sadly, people were even openly looting stores in front of television news cameras….

This third video contains a compilation of footage from all over the United States over the past few decades.  Is this what America is going to look like when the economy breaks down and people are going wild in the streets?….

But don’t think that Americans only act this way in the big cities.  The truth is that human decency is breaking down everywhere.  This was perfectly illustrated by a recently reported case of horrific child abuse in Oklahoma.

According to CNN, a 9-year-old girl, an 11-year-old boy and a 15-year-old boy were actually forced to eat pet food and had suffered burns all over their bodies due to the nightmarish abuse that they had received from the couple that adopted them.

The 15-year-old boy in this case told authorities that at one point he was forced to live in a plastic dog carrier for two months and that all three of the children have had their tongues burned with a hot spoon by their “parents”.

The following is how CNN described some of the abuse that these children were subjected to….

Authorities said the Kluths are accused of burning the children with hot spoons, choking them and locking them “in the storm shelter behind the residence for long periods of time with only chairs to sit in and plastic buckets for bathroom use. It was also alleged that the Kluths deprived the children of meals for punishment and fed them cat food and dog food,” according to a statement from authorities.

Can you imagine?

As Americans, we like to think of ourselves as “good people”, but is that really true?

In the United States today, the percentage of the population that is in prison is more than ten times higher than it is in Japan.

Part of that is because the U.S. is rapidly becoming a “Big Brother” police state, but we also have to admit that the American people don’t seem to be made of the same “stuff” that they used to.

Something has gone dramatically wrong.

We have lost our way.

Is this country going to be able to handle another Great Depression?

Right now more than 43 million Americans are on food stamps.  This is helping keep the population under control.  But what is going to happen when the price of food goes up 50 percent and all of these millions of people can’t even feed themselves anymore?

That is a frightening thing to think about.

Most Americans have never known hard times.  Most Americans cannot even imagine what deep economic suffering is like.

When the U.S. economy does completely unravel, it is going to blindside most of the population.  Many Americans will go completely crazy when they finally realize that the “good times” are gone and are never coming back.

What we are seeing in Wisconsin right now is only a very small foretaste of the kinds of economic protests that we will see in the future.  There are tens of millions of Americans that are just not going to quietly accept that their affluence is gone permanently.

Unfortunately, the time to start saying something was years ago.  Our economy is being gutted right in front of our eyes and yet most Americans just keep on voting for the globalist politicians that continue to ship our factories, our jobs and our prosperity overseas.

Believe it or not, cities like Detroit, Michigan were once the envy of the world.

In 2011, the rest of the world laughs at Detroit.  It has become a global joke.

And you know what?

Hundreds of other communities across the United States are being slowly but surely transformed into new Detroits.

Today, there are many towns across the United States where you can almost reach out and feel the despair.  It is almost as if someone has sucked all of the hope right out of the atmosphere.

People are getting desperate.  As the economy crumbles crime is only going to increase.  In fact, many of our biggest cities have large areas where residents simply do not ever want to venture outside after the sun goes down.  Life is getting crazier in America with each passing year.

The America that so many of us so fondly remember is being rapidly destroyed.

So what do you all think?  Are mob robbers and rampant looting the future of America?  Are people going to go crazy when the economy collapses or are Americans going to be able to handle it fairly well?  Please feel free to leave a comment with your opinion below….

I’m still fuming from the previous article, but will try to settle down and be focused. I think safety and any form of courtesy or civil behavior is gone with the Obama wind. My husband takes me to Wal-Mart and the grocery store because he doesn’t want me to travel alone. Our small village has no services at all, so we are forced to travel to a rather unsafe larger city about 17 miles away. (For the greenies out there…I am too old and it’s too unsafe to ride a bicycle 34 miles round-trip to the grocery store. Our part of Ohio has NO public transportation and I shop at Wal-Mart because I need the lower prices to off-set the tremendous state and property taxes we have to pay to our feckless government and to subsidize the amazingly expensive new school with which we’ve been saddled. (I’m always amazed when people claim that teachers “civilize” students. These kids are as feral and thuggish at 18 as they are at five years of age. Civil behavior is taught about as well as physics.) My husband is usually just furious when I come out of the store because he’s watched the welfare/trashy group shove their shopping carts into the cars of strangers instead of walking a few steps to put them in a cart corral. These people, known as the WalMartians, are usually playing rap at the top of their bass level, screaming obscenities at each other, screaming about anything and to everyone and hauling out numerous undomesticated small children to drag into the store where they will scream, cry, throw temper tantrums and ask for everything. Occasionally, they will return to their car with a complete fried chicken (or three), a box of Little Debbies and a few large bottles of Pepsi and they’ll all eat lunch or dinner in the car with the car radio roaring while they throw the bones and empty plastic wrappers on the ground with the occasional dirty diaper mixed in the mess. When the economy finally dies off completely, they’re coming to your house! This group is feral and depraved now….Wait until the fried (by someone else) chicken evaporates. All you can hope for is that they can’t afford gas and are too lazy to hike to your place.

Every nation knows that more than freedom political stability is directly linked to economics. If shelter and food are compromised look out. Once “normal” people start to behave very badly. Those in the best position are in the rural farm areas and would generally be ok. First they have more basic resources and second they have better skills both social and physical. Cut off food and power to a city? Just count the hours before trouble starts. Before too long Manhattan turns into Camden and Camden turns into Mogadishu.

When there is plenty to go around things are rosy. When there isn’t there can be anarchy.

These mobs all had one thing in common – but I cannot put my finger on it; one similarity, one … damn, I just cannot think of what it is.

I’m going to watch the videos again, maybe I can think of it…

if you shoot one they will run away. i did this in many 2nd and 3rd world shit holes. when it becomes massive, then i will simply arm vets and teens with crates of ak74s and become the local law. i love this time we are living in. finally i am alive and awake. i was once a civil servent. now i will forge a new “way”.

  • mondobeyondo

It’s true. Most Americans do not know what true suffering is like. They think they are in poverty because they don’t have an iPhone. Many people in this world don’t have a phone at all, even the “old fashioned” rotary land line type where you poked your finger in this round slot that said “ABC-123” or “DEF-456”, and it went clack-clack-clack as it went around the dial. Imagine dialing 999-9999 on that thing – it would take forever! Even without a smart phone, we’re still pretty well off.

This could be a big wake up call for the populace. The moment when they stop listening to the Black Eyed Peas, and start buying Green Bell Peppers and Yellow Corn. Maybe. But given our collective short attention span, I doubt it.

    Tomorrow’s headline: Charlie Sheen Meltdown!!

That’s why Martial Law will easily be implemented in the United States as soon as civil unrest takes place. Americans do not have a single clue about curfews or unannounced checkpoints (besides that, they are easy to manipulate and subdue); those who pretend to revolt against the government will simply be annihilated since the US military (or National Guard) will have the authority of shooting to kill anyone who causes disturbances. Better stay at home and store food for at least 6 months – and say good bye to the Constitution.

  • Bruce

The last video is powerful. Yep that is what you can look forward too.

  • Patriot One

I don’t think you will be able to compare the LA riots to the storm that’s coming. Its going to be absolute Mayhem.

America’s saving grace will be some 71 million armed Citizens. Good American’s, not the government will restore America.

  • Tony

Unfortunately I think you may be right. Instead of banding together in order to ensure our survival. People look at one another with distrust and anger. Always looking for someone to blame instead of themselves. I’ve seen video of people being seriously injured or killed in stampedes just so they can buy a TV that went on sale. IT’S PATHETIC! The parts of society that were let go of decades ago will likely represent most of the problems in the near future. Ghettos, slums, and so on are the problems. Now that I’ve said that, I don’t believe it’s their fault. Here is my analogy:
If you’re in math class and your teacher is going over quadratic equations and he/she accidentally (or intentionally) gives you the wrong formula. I think it is safe to say that you will NEVER get the right answer… No matter how many times you redo the problem.

As this economy grinds to a halt the only thing that will save us will be good will toward our fellow man. Understanding that by ourselves in a survival situation will inevitably lead to death. The biggest problem is the masses of America. They live in their own little world, unconcerned with the political environment in our country or the world. They watch crap like jersey shore and willingly make themselves dumber.

A sad state with no real solution. Thus, I expect the worst, but hope for the best.

  • The Future of America is:

    (1) Martial Law.

    (2) FEMA detention / depopulation centers.

  • breathial

As Gerald Celente has said many times, “when people lose everything, they LOSE it.” And it’s true.

I’m trying to prepare my family & close friends, but most have been skeptical.

I told my retired parents, who live on Social Security, to buy silver, to cash out their “toys” and properties, and get ready for the storm.

    They won’t listen.

I bought a larger house, with excellent security measures, and enough room for them… Because I know that when the government checks won’t put food on the table, or gas in the car, they’ll be coming to stay.

I’m fine with that… Family needs to stick together.

I just hope they’ll see the light, before it’s too late.

  • El Pollo de Oro

There is crime, and there is crime. Having spent a lot of time in European cities, I’ve seen plenty of nonviolent petty crime—for example, gypsies and pickpockets discreetly snatching your wallet when you’re catching a train at Termini Station in Roma or when you’re walking along Rue St. Denis in Paris or La Rambla in Barcelona. It sucks if you’re the victim of nonviolent thievery, but it beats being violently mugged at gunpoint and beaten bloody or killed in the streets of Johannesburg or Caracas. Some cities in developing countries are so dangerous that the criminals have created a state of anarchy—and that’s where The Banana Republic of America is going. The amount of violent crime in Johannesburg, Caracas, Mexico City and Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea is absolutely appalling, and that is where BRA cities are headed as this Third World nightmare that used to be the USA sinks deeper and deeper into the financial abyss.

The sick irony is that as Americans’ civil liberties are taken away more and more (the Patriot Act, DEA thugs breaking into the wrong house, abuse at the airport), violent crime is going to get a whole lot worse. The BRA will become increasingly repressive as it becomes increasingly violent and increasingly dangerous. And that’s the way the vile, devilish neo-feudalists, corporatists and neocon fascists want it: they want a subservient population that has been terrified into submission by both the cops AND the robbers. Decent Americans can count on being abused and terrorized at the airport, but they’re on their own when the mob robbers, flash mobs, gangbangers and kidnappers terrorize them.

How repressive is the BRA? So repressive that when a Canadian woman (Loretta Van Beek of Ontario) was crossing the border into the BRA and failed to declare some raspberries, she was strip-searched. Yes, the goons strip-searched her. That’s how decent people are treated in this Third World basketcase of a country. Our tax dollars at work! But if she ever has the misfortune of being gang-raped at knifepoint by a flash mob…..well, then she’s on her own.

Alex Jones and Gerald Celente are absolutely right: this country is falling apart on so many levels. Whether you’re a Lutheran, a Hare Krishna, a Sufi, a 7th Day Adventist, a Nam Mioho Rengi Khio Buddhist or whatever else floats your boat, please say a prayer for The Banana Republic of America (formerly known as the USA) because God knows, we’re in terrible shape. Que dios nos ayude.

I don’t think we will see riots in the immediate future. Riots occur when people can’t adapt any further and are stressed severely. I think people will adapt for the foreseeable future; however, there will come a time when people will riot.

This kind of stuff happened in NYC all the time in the 1980’s before Republicans (Giuliani) took control in 1994 and turned the NYC metro area into a police state where not wearing a seat belt or talking on cell phone while driving is seen as crimes of the century.

Anyone who grew up or lived in NYC 25-30 years ago has seen worse than this — wilding by teens, people getting chains snatched off of them in broad daylight, muggings/assaults. This was at a time when unemployment (supposedly) was half was it is now

Great article. The only conclusion, everyone better be prepared to take care of themselves. When it hits the fan we will all be on our own.

The biggest question is when will it happen. I believe the answer is when the government loses the power to print money and run deficits without serious consequences to the economy. I would really enjoy your thoughts on when and how that point will be reached. What is the likely braking point? How much money can the government print and get away with it? I heard an “expert” say the FED could print another 15 trillion and get away with it. I hope he is right.

  • Phrygian cap, aka Michael2

The greatest gangsters and “mob robbers” of all time wear suits and ties or power skirts. Interesting there are no videos betraying that level of crime.

If it were not for the crimes of the suits and ties much of the crime, aptly called ‘poverty crime’ would not be occurring. No justice, no peace, echoes in the streets. . .

Being condescending and patronizing to the American people is very quickly becoming old hat because we know criminals, corruption and fraud are the real underlying cause of the budget problems in America. Not improvished, discriminated against black people or poor white people or teachers contracts, healthcare, daycare, etc. The time is at hand to stop talking about average Americans as if we are not in the room or acting like we are not capable of participating in the discussions.

Why is the impact of white collar crime, i.e. banking crime treated less seriously than other types of crime? Rob a bank in a hoody and ski mask and your public enemy number 1 but rob a bank in a suit and tie with a pen and accounting hocus pocus, it is business as usual. I realize a robber in ski mask usually carries the threat of violence and he affects employees directly but a fraudster in a suit and tie can devastate thousands or millions of people for the rest of their lives. Bank and accounting fraud can and does leave families homeless, with no or major shortfalls in pensions, in debt, with under water mortgages and all the rest of the repercussions this brand of criminal activity causes. Repercussions like families falling apart, children sliding into poverty which can perpetuate generational poverty, domestic violence or at the least domestic life becoming turbulent and drug and alcohol abuse can start as well. To confirm this look at the studies of families in Mid Western states after the savings and loan rip off. The message and social impact sent by treating white collar crime as if it’s no big deal, spawns the lawless desperation seen in the videos in the moderator’s post.

The inequity of not or under prosecuting white collar crime has caused bitterness, cynicism, the coarsening of political dialogue, mistrust and fear of government.

I’ve seen people react quite obviously with fear when encountering a young black American or scruffy looking poor white kid on the streets. I’ve seen purses clutched tighter and even watched as people would cross the street rather than walk by someone from these demographics. But these same people will continue to vote for thieves and liars or put their hard earned money into zombie banks, run by soulless monsters because they are run by people dressed in suits and ties or in a power skirt, no matter how many times or how much they are ripped off.

    Go figure!!

I feel compelled to defend Black Americans because of this post so I put together a short list of links that may provide food for thought.

People need to soon realize that the only colors that truly matter to those who run the world are the colors of the monies or natural resources in the countries of the world, not skin colors. Anyone below a certain income is a ********, poor white trash, etc. in other words expendable when it comes to certain entities maintaining the money and the power.

Even a “person” like Hitler that epitomizes a racial supremacy ideology taught his fellow white citizens what he thought of them in the end which was not anything nice.

This all started when they ruined the family farm in favor of corporate farming. That was the beginning. It’s all a spectrum and we are on the end of it. Rural America has been decimated by meth, drugs, abuse and desperation for a very long time. It is time to start protesting and boycotting all US business that leave for cheap labor and tax breaks.

Until Katrina, the mob riots in Los Angeles ranks higher than these two bit punks robing some stores. Civil breakdown is a different phenomena, it is when the government with its military and police powers are no longer able to intimidate. Even then, society has a lot of internal individual inertia towards maintaing civility.

Katrina was a natural disaster. The LA riots were sparked by a failure of local law enforcement. What we are faced with at the moment is a failure of the federal government to clean up the financial mess it has created. The battle lines are being drawn between the sates and their local jurisdictions and the federal government. Places like AZ with illegal immigration, 28 states suing the federal government over obamacare, criminal bailouts of banks, DHS/TSA idiots on power trips, etc. This is the equivalent of the LAPD beating up punks on the streets. At some point the federal government will beat one too many states senseless over some minor issue and the riots will be on. IMHO it will be a very short revolt, the federal government can not exist without state support.

  • JustanOguy

When you see fifty white kids running in and doing mob robberies… then you can worry. Other then that… all you see is something that’s been seen before — no matter what the economic conditions are — if you know what I mean.

Just think Detroit or Chicago after their respective Basketball teams won the NBA championships if you still don’t get it.

And for the videos presented showing the riots after the Rodney King incident.. (how long ago was that?) and after Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans… do you expect anything less?

By the way.. I was in Des Moines in their last big flood… which happened AFTER the Rodney King and Hurricane Katrina footage you are showing…. and there was ZERO chaos.

I also had friends who lived in Biloxi, MS when Katrina hit and Biloxi was hit FAR worse then New Orleans…. but you did not hear about any looting and sinister behavior taking place there… did you?

Figure it out… and trying to pawn off that video footage as something that is the sign of our current economic times is just plain ludicrous….

Auto-lock doors with a kill switch for the lights and a high pitch shrill deafening siren. Yes, you’re stuck with them until police arrive.

Breathing masks and pepper spray. Just start soaking the little bastards.

One gun with blanks (for a warning shot). The other gun with the real deal. Once a couple of them get shot and realize we can, do and will fight back, they’ll settle down.

We could always bring back Christianity and parenting again too. But sadly we’ve reached the pepper spray and bullets part of “democracy”.

    I want my republic back.

Having lost the Russian civil war to the Khazar Communists (today’s NeoCons), much of the wealthy aristocracy of the tsarist era fled Russia via the Crimea, and took ships down the Black Sea to Istanbul.
The Turks did not allow many to leave the ships for long periods. To obtain simple food, these formerly wealthy people passed fabulous jewelry and other very valuable itmes over the sides of the ships in exchange for food provided by Turks entrepreneurs in boats. The point of this true story is that humans will do anything/almost anything to SURVIVE.

Another good article. I think you are pretty much correct as far as what we can expect. Unlike in the last depression, when people were self-reliant and still instilled with a strong sense of respect for God and Judeo-Christian morality, we now have a massive welfare state created mostly by the Democratic Party where people know nothing other than dependence upon government. When that comfort blanket is pulled on from the other end you’d better believe people are going to turn nasty fast. (Of course, the welfare state was in some sense made necessary by the insidious transfer of wealth to the very top that’s been going on since the 20s!)

i’d like to say you are crazy, deluded and have no idea what you are talking about, but i can say no such thing as i pretty much agree with you..we are in deep sh*t and its only going to get worse as the economy tanks.

as for the mobs looting, well i think the footage speaks for itself when looking at the perpetrators…i’m sure you’ll see affected business owners begin to meet out their own justice once the police aren’t around to stop this and it becomes common place.

the only thing i will say is there’s a big difference between youth looting a convenience store and what happened in katrina. granted some where criminals and thieves, but many were desperate people with no food or water and were merely trying to survive. i’d have no problem doing what they did if i was out of food/water and my survival was in jeopardy…i think this will be the scariest element of the coming unrest. it won’t be about free dvds or a new stereo, it’ll be about perishable food and toilet paper. when john q. family from the burbs doesn’t have food on the table for mom and jr. all hell is going to break loose.

Talk about killing the entrepreneurial spirit and excessive authoritarianism. . .

VILLA RICA, Ga. — A Girl Scout leader says young members of her troop thought they were headed to jail when a Georgia police officer told them to quit selling cookies.

This is not that first time this year that I read of incidents like this.

    What is happening in America??

Or am I overly sensitive and reading to much into cops demanding permits from children trying earn merit badges and such?

What about this then, Cofan Natives of the Amazon, told me about his three-year-old. “He went swimming, and then began vomiting blood.” Then he died.

Baby Dolphins Found Dead on Gulf Coast–Two Dozen Washed Ashore on Alabama and Mississippi Coastlines

Sick Gulf Residents Beg Officials for Help–Gulf residents and community leaders vented their increasingly grave concerns about the widespread health issues brought on by the three-month-long oil spill.

What alarms me about this is it seems corporations can destroy untold numbers of people and species of wildlife, yet if a citizen goes hunting without a permit the full force of the law will be brought to bare against him. Consequences ranging from fines, to jail time, to confiscation of weapon, vehicle and home can take place.

The imbalance in the application of law to all citizens equally on this earth is so grossly out of proportion that trying to fathom what it will take to rebalance the scales of justice scares me.

There simply are “people” on this earth who think they can act with impunity that think they are above the laws of God, Nature and man, who act with imperial intensity and god like powers. How much longer will the evidence of this be ignored? These people are no respecters of race, religion, political affiliations or status. So do not delude yourself into thinking that if you are a member of a certain race, religion or political group you will be ok or think they won’t do it you because they have, are and will continue to do so!!

  • Hucklebuck

Depends. Mostly on where you are. In the midwestern state I live in, outside of the urban areas the people have not changed all that much. For one thing, the population is almost completely white, lower to middle class. We expect total chaos in the urban areas but relative calm out here. Of course, we’re generally armed to the teeth. We have food and access to naturally occurring water. When the ravening hordes stream out of the cities they will not be welcomed with open arms. You’ll note that in the urban looting videos the only places not ruined are those where there is a guy sitting out front in a lawn chair holding a shotgun. Out here, we all have shotguns and little interest in relying on the authorities to protect us.

  • Knot Jammin, Jr

There is nothing about a mob robbery that can’t be stopped with a few well place rounds from a 308. This is bull $hit to think that we are expected to roll over and allow the most violent culture in the world to destroy America. There are many ways to just say no, but I can think of none better than a 308.

In an article in The Daily Reckoning today, Gerald Celante put it as succinct as it can be put. “When too little dollars flow domnhill, then blood will flow in the streets.” Sin the U.S. is one of the most unequal countries in the industrialized world, blood in the streets will be coming to America sooner than you think!

  • SPECTRE of Deflation

We aren’t a little broke. Oh no, we are totally broke. Our assets equal our liabilities, and don’t ask me about owner’s equity/retained earnings because there is none. This simple equation above is the bedrock of accounting. It never lies unlike our CONgress and El Presidente’. There is only one way for this to end. Wait until the entitlement and support payments are reduced/ended, and then my fellow Amerikans, we will see terrible things like the LA Riot only it will be in all big cities at once. Good luck to Law Enforcement and the Military, as this will overwhelm all their systems like an ant pissing on a 5 alarm fire. Keep fighting each other while all this unfolds before your very eyes. I can hear the waterfall. Are you swimming to shore?

  • Stu

Didn’t Obama implement Martial Law in the last couple years. The surge is coming I guess. Should be interesting.

  • William

Another great, revealing, well documented presentation. I think much of this is right on, especially in more urban areas, where many people who have been on welfare for too long, if the checks stop or as you said, there is not enough to pay for food, many of these same kind of people who have the government provide for their needs, will be the first to hit the streets and try to take from others what they want. They will also try to justify “stealing and looting” as free stuff for the taking, never once considering that they are stealing from others. Many of these people may in for a surprise however, when people start to fight back to protect their properties and loved ones. I fear that should an economiuc collapse happen, there is going to be a lot of violence in America. May God have mercy on us!!!!

I’m so sad. If only my family would stick together. My mother is a drunk and drug addict and going through her $100,000 in equity and soon she will be homeless. I’m sick with epilepsy and trying to get better without drugs. I don’t have any work, and my wife is not working but crying for a baby. I’m without any hope.

A more accurate term would be “they will go completely batshit.”
I think it will really depend first on what area of the country you live in and second the demographics of your area. If you live in an area with lots of younger people, look out.
I for one would not want to be anywhere near L.A., San Francisco, Chicago or a similiar size city and DAMN sure not in the socialist Northeast.

The first clip is recent, let’s be honest, the next two are old. Especially the very last clip that shows the Los Angeles riots.

What concerns me is flash mobs and mobs that organize via the internet. For two summers in Philadelphia and also this past summer in Chicago young black American youths got together at a specific location and then robbed, beat people up, stole property, etc….

Most of these people who behave this way are not the normal law abiding citizens. Rather, they feel they are owed something by the white man, they feel they were wronged in the past and thus it’s just. It’s time for some of these black Americans who act this way to grow up.

    • Unbias

I don’t think people are getting it. You have educated, upper class Americans that are not preparing or prepared for an economic collapse. Most of these comments based their opinion on the few irrelevant videos featured. The reality is there will be millions of people (all walks of life), unprepared, no food, etc. Stop thinking this issue will be black/white. It will be ALL Americans suffering from the lack of.

For a few comments I have made so far in this blog; For two times, I mentioned that some day in any major cities of America, Dukes and gangs will take over, country will be divided into various sectors of race and religion! Civil war will be inevitable and GOD only knows what else . . . . The Path of destruction of American civilization is just starting and the new era will come for the worst before the better America could emerge from those crisis, which is about to unfold themselves. There will be many casualties before it comes to end for the new beginning of America! What kind of America could possibly emerge from these chaos many wonder?

And the answer deeply reside in the hearts of those people who have courage and faith for the future of America!

  • You’re right to associate selfish politicians with the mob mentality. It starts with celebrities like Barack Obama describing police as being stupid.

Republicans in 2012 must remember their roots and emancipate the record number of Americans who are slaves to poverty under Barack Obama’s mob mentality.

America is well on the way to chaos. When things finally unravel, the rest of the world will stare in slack jawed disbelief. Millions will die in the ensuing strife. Millions more will starve. The 4 horsemen will ride once more. A decade later, I conservatively estimate half the population will be dead. As you point out, Americans have never known hard times. They soon will.

I sincerely hope the globalist politicians, robber barons, financial crooks and their tag-along shills who have visited such economic devastation upon this nation get their just deserts.

The Solution to Our Budget Problems Is So Obvious: We Need to Raise Taxes on the Rich, ASAP
The answer to many of our country’s domestic problems is obvious — the rich need to pay their fair share.

More and more people are starting to agree-We need to tax the rich more!

  • DMyers

    “………..they lose it.”

An apropos response to the question raised here may be found in Gerald Celente’s oft stated adage: “When people lose everything and have nothing left to lose, they lose it.” Celente has also had something to say about the important matter of the readiness and capability of the American people to face The Greatest Depression. A tough self-reliance that was once part of our national character, for cultural and practical reasons, has been diminished by the interconnected ease of the specialized complexity we have come to know. All still eat, but very few still grow food (or have the least idea how). We stand at the brink of a terrifying helplessness-imposed due to a different and kinder helplessness that we have willingly adopted.

The Bigger they are the Harder They Fall

One has the feeling we Westerners are especially vulnerable to the worst features of collapse, simply due to our evolution into a soft, lazy, everything done for us mode of living, in a relative if not an absolute sense. From this people, one would expect a tantrum level of violence and revolutionary demand for entitlement to a high standard of living. Consider the difference between going from one bathroom to none and going from four bathrooms to one. At least in the first case, the actors have already learned and practiced ingenuity, accommodation, sacrifice, and sharing. In the second case, the actors have likely lost these organic adaptative tendencies by the law of disuse. To coin a new law of nature, the violence associated with financial collapse on an individual level (V) is V to the power of B1 minus B2 where B1 is the highest number of bathrooms per residence to which the individual has grown accustomed, and B2 is the number of post-collapse bathrooms the same individual is forced to endure.

    Nostalgia for the Present

I recently heard someone describe nostalgia for the present as a kind of mental exercise, where one projects the imagination into a future moment in which the stuff of the present has been lost, destroyed or drastically changed. From that vantage of mind, a feeling of nostalgia sets in for the beauty and benefits of the present, which in an altered consciousness between now and future appear as they are and will be, simultaneously. The melancholia implied by the word nostalgia would have to do with a sense that this loss of what we have now were an inevitable conclusion of the particular now that we have. Applying nostalgia for the present to the imagined scenario of massive civilian crime and violence, I have a sense of extreme fear, insecurity and vulnerability, as compared to immense comfort and assurance at this moment in which I discuss the likely disappearance of all which at this moment surrounds me.

“So what do you all think? Are mob robbers and rampant looting the future of America? Are people going to go crazy when the economy collapses or are Americans going to be able to handle it fairly well? Please feel free to leave a comment with your opinion below….”

I have been saying for years that this country is heading for a civil war. Economic decline, demographics shifts and loss of morality are accelerating American towards civil conflict. In the coming years I see large sections of this country fracturing like an egg and our major cities burning down due to riots and looting.

Are people going to be able handle all the hardshipe? Definently no! Will a dumb down and morally banckrupt civilization be able to have enough self-control to behave themselves long enough to restore order? No. People will go buck wild as the authority and privaledges go down the drain. Just look at how people get frustrated will frivalties. They get bent out of ahspe if they have to even the minimalist amount of strenous activity. To add insult to injury, people in this country are ripping each off left and right these days. Americans have become monsters preying on each other and I do not see it going anywhere but far worse than what is currently going on now.

How bad will it get? Imagine what happened to New Orleans after the hurricane, but all over the place. When the shit does hit the fan then I forsee martial law being declared and eventually a full scale civil war both among the people and against the government.

  • The general population knows we are in decline. That has a lot to do with the rise in gun sales. I don’t think anyone can really prepare for what’s coming. We’ve never had to face anything like it.

Then it will be required when you get a new driver license and later when you renew your license. Then it will be required to receive medical or dental services and then to buy food and other necessities of life.

  • Louise in MO

I was born in 1941 and lived in poor conditions until the age of 8. We ate a lot of homemade bean soup and potatoe soup. Sundays we had meat loaf. I grew up thinking that bread and butter sprinkled with a little sugar was a great treat. I did not know that we were poor; I thought everyone lived like us. And those who lived in the same neighborhood were poor also. But, it was aneighborhood that we were safe in and played outside until nightfall. Children weren’t kidnapped, raped and molested in those days.

After Dad came home from the war he and my Mother worked hard and we moved every few years to a little better place. We ate “better” and they kept on working. We moved into our first house when I entered high school.

So, I’m not going to be one of the people who feel sorry that I have lost “everything” because the material things of this life aren’t what really matters. I can go back to eating bean soup and potato soup and maybe meat loaf on Sundays. The reason I can is because I HAVE ALREADY DONE IT. And, I know life still can have love, and family and values when there is little money for things or what we call “better” food.

The people who will really suffer and demand are those who have never known hardship. Their world will be destroyed because they did not start at the bottom and therefore have no idea of how to live there. We who did will have a better chance to survive.

It’s heartbreaking to know what’s coming to America. More heartbreaking then if we had been attacked by an outside invader. The heartbreaking fact is that we are being destroyed by enemies within. And I am heartbroken personally because my grandchildren will bear the brunt of America’s fall.

Why American men should boycott American women

I am an American man, and I have decided to boycott American women. In a nutshell, American women are the most likely to cheat on you, to divorce you, to get fat, to steal half of your money in the divorce courts, don’t know how to cook or clean, don’t want to have children, etc. Therefore, what intelligent man would want to get involved with American women?

American women are generally immature, selfish, extremely arrogant and self-centered, mentally unstable, irresponsible, and highly unchaste. The behavior of most American women is utterly disgusting, to say the least.

This blog is my attempt to explain why I feel American women are inferior to foreign women (non-American women), and why American men should boycott American women, and date/marry only foreign (non-American) women.

This is just an example of some present situations that are happening. The economy is in the toilet and those at the lower rung of society are desperate. An example would be someone released from prison or someone that has zero marketable job skills.Several of these individuals enter a department store usually one at a time. One heads over to the clothing dept. and puts several different hats, some gloves and a pair of shades in his cart. He’s taking his time shopping. Then he heads over to the houseware section and checks out the knife selection and decides on a sturdy butcher knife.Mean while the other 4 are also shopping for things they need. One of the individuals is loading up on electronics, tools,CD’s,and various OTC medications.Security spots one of the individuals changing/trying on different clothing and also see’s a knife in the cart. While he’s following this individual he spots another individual loading up his cart but the hoodie and shades makes it hard to identify the individual. The individual with the loaded cart slowly makes his way for the door. Then several customer service buttons happen at once. Then there a loud crash in the back of the store as a shelf of stuff hits the floor. At that moment the security has to make a decision 1)stop the guy with the loaded cart or check out the loud crash. He knows that the location of the loud crash is also in the direction where the individual with the knife is.He also looks around and see’s 2 other individuals that look suspect. He runs to the area of the crash and sure enough theres the guy with the knife luring an employee away while another individual is loading TV’s into a cart.In the end he get the employee out of the area and confronts the individual with the TV’s who just walks away from the cart.By that time the the other individual with the loaded cart is out the door and nobody see’s anythings.Nobody can be charged with anything because they just walk away from their carts. The one that made it out the door took about 1000.00$ worth of stuff.Everyone of the individuals has nothing to lose prison is better than sleeping on the streets.

The other situation is a bunch of individuals in shirts and ties meet in a penthouse office and plan how to extract money for the company penison funds.

They are both stealing the only difference is the group in the department store is desperate and they aren’t going to find employment in this economy.Security guards now have to decide which is more important emplyee lives which could be in danger or someone with a cart load of stuff walking out the door.

  • Once the “meltdown” occurs and the looters finish burning down their own neighborhoods, they will head into surrounding middle class areas. You can expect a large number of thugs to die quickly as homeowners defend their property.

America will be a cesspool of corruption, violence, and despair. If you don’t have silver coins to trade with, food to eat, guns and ammo to protect your self, water purification equipment, some safe dwelling protected by you and your friends 24/7, and EMT medicine and emergency supplies, then you are going to die. That simple, you will not make it. There will be tons of dead rotting bodies all over the place mostly shot trying to steal or stolen from, or victims of gun fights between police and civilians. Only the strong will survive If you are a wimp, a fast talker, tree hugger, ultra liberal, sissy, or homosexual, you will be the first to die. If you aren’t almost ready by now (having spent at least $15K and hundreds of hours reading and preparing) your too late, Those just starting to get ready probably won’t make it. It will be interesting to watch this once in history spectacle, to say the least. This will be worse by far the siege of Rome by the Visigoths. It will be survival of the fittest and American soil will be the jungle. It will be total anarchy. No Laws, no rules, anything goes…just survival. Are you ready because its almost here, we are hanging by a thread, and when it goes it will only take about two to three weeks to become total chaos.

The violence that’s coming in the future will not be limited to the large, ethnically diverse cities of the northeast, south and west.

You are going to see riots in Des Moines, Iowa, Kansas City, Missouri and Fargo, North Dakota, too. No matter where you live, you have to eat, and you need a roof over your head.

The real fun will begin when roving gangs start marching down the street, each with their own favorite soundtracks – “Fight the Power” by Public Enemy, or “American Idiot” by Green Day, or maybe “Street Fighting Man” by the Rolling Stones. All of them with their own agendas, but united by a common (literal) hunger.

There Will Be Blood. It will not be like the movie of the same name, though.

Generally speaking, nostalgia is just a skewed perspective on the past, looking through rose colored glasses and recalling the good times while ignoring the bad.

There are not many people who are nostalgic about the Great Depression. The 1950’s are generally seen as a nostalgic era, but that’s because a whole generation grew up watching “Happy Days” on TV and imitating the Fonz on his motorcycle.

10 or 15 years from now, we will recall 2011 as being nostalgic times. Trust me on that…

I live in northern Philadelphia. I go to the big supermarkets frequently, and literally every time I’m in line waiting to pay there are others in line before me paying with their food welfare debit cards. Every time. And in every case they’re buying cases of soda, potato chips, processed junk food – it’s all paid for with your tax money. It’s unbelievable to me that the State allows its taxpayers’ money to be used for these kinds of foods, especially when they’re being fed to kids as the mainstay of their diets. They clearly cannot make appropriate nutritional decisions and should be given basic uprocessed foods, which will encourage them to learn to cook nutritious meals rather than microwave some GMO junk. And if the computer network for welfare cards ever goes down, it’s over. The poor have been led into a lifestyle of total dependence on welfare checks to the point where they cannot even cook anything more than a hamburger for themselves and have no need to learn.

Gary2 keeps saying tax the rich. Well even if that was constitutional, the dollar is becoming worth less and less everyday. Since 1913, the dollar has lost 95% of its buying power. That is only going to get worse. The dollar is a dead currency thanks to the Fed and our gutless politicians.

The only real thing that we can do, and ever have been able to do is turn to the Savior of the world. Jesus Christ gives hope and he will not abandon those who follow Him. We must have faith in these economically hard times. He will provide for us.

I believe we are going to see the beginnings of the coming collapse this week and throughout this month. I think Friday March 4 will be a rough day in the markets as bad economic data comes out, the U.S. government will be skirting a shutdown, oil will be up on mideast unrest, U.S. dollar will hit a new low, you will have labour rallies across the U.S., and in a mater of weeks you will have crises in the bond markets. Economy is on the verge of a major pullback and then downward slide over long term. Soon investor confidence in U.S. will be at an all time low and dollar will collapse as global inflation rises. Protect yourselves with gold and silver.

Kadhafi is the dictator of the wrong country at the wrong time. If he could somehow be the dictator of the U.S. here in a few months, his crazy statement – “the reason the people are getting violent in the streets is because they’re all on drugs” would make a lot more sense.

The U.S. has a huge drug problem especially cannabis, which has contributed greatly to all of the problems this country has, and could easily be the number one reason for them. I have the right to make that claim because I know from personal experience. It is the worst drug out there as far as the destructive effect on a society and on an individual is concerned.

The effects that drugs have on people won’t be the direct cause for the violence – it will be the indirect cause – too many years of apathy and inaction concerning the state of your country. There is also strong evidence of the influence of cannabis in the teaching and curriculum in public schools and Universities, in music, movies, t.v., t.v. commercials, and the American culture in general which has resulted in a huge decline in morality. It has been the main reason that way too many people are now no longer willing to obey God and do the right thing at their expense for the overall good of society (their neighbor).

There is a reason you are called a Pothead, and not a Potheart. But you Potheads shouldn’t be proud of that name thinking it means you have awesome mental powers because the truth is you do not – actually you are extremely weak intellectually, it just feels like you have power. You will never understand what that means unless you quit, and let at least one year pass by.

Do it. If you do, you will know it was the best thing you have ever done or will ever do, and the time has arrived when it is vital to your survival that you do.

  • Golden Child

@Louise in MO, I know exactly what you are talking about. My family was also poor when I was a child. We lived in what was very much the ghetto in San Francisco, CA in the 80’s and early 90’s. In retrospect, our lives in our own neighborhood growing up were very restricted because there were people getting murdered only a few feet outside of our front door every month for years and years. There was a ghetto liquor store at the end of our block when I was a kid where neighborhood thugs used to loiter in front of day and night. When I was eight I remember asking “Mom, why can’t I go to the liquor store?” Even though we lived in a crazy high crime neighborhood where gun violence, gruesome homicide, armed robbery, open air drug dealing of hard drugs, rampant addiction and alcoholism was business as usual, my siblings and I had a very normal childhood. I came from a good hard working, yet poor, family. All of our years living in the high crime inner city, our family never experienced too much of the ugly crime firsthand other than hearing gunshots late at night on a regular basis and my father’s car getting broken into a few times. It wasn’t until we relocated to the suburbs on the East Coast that we realized that people who were well-off and middle class had much more freedom and were so much more sheltered. We couldn’t even walk down the block when I was as a kid living smack right in the middle of homicide central in the Northern California Bay Area ghetto.

You are right that people who aren’t used to real hardship will have the hardest time adjusting. I think that with the declining economy, there are going to be many more communities around America that resemble inner city Baltimore, Detroit, Camden and Any Ghetto, USA. It is inevitable because the American middle class is rapidly disappearing.

  • Excellent article!!! Here is some information that not many know or realize: The Nixon Administration divided the U.S. into ten federal administrative regions. In short order, all U.S. Army reserves regions were re-aligned to conform, giving each region a FEMA Director, or Regent, and a military force similar to national Guard units. All federal agencies now conform to these boundaries for the Department of Defense. Anybody in government is aware of the regionalization of the U.S.
For months multiple reliable sources have been reporting the existence of three lists. The “Red List” consists of “un-reconstructable” people, especially those with military experience, who would resist any takeover of our country and are potentially armed. They are said to be scheduled for pick-up and prompt termination just prior to declaration of a national emergency during which they could be considered a threat. The “Blue List” covers an assortment of Christians, conservatives, and constitutionalists to be accorded to be accorded similar treatment in the weeks following a takeover. The “Green List” encompasses those considered a nuisance. FEMA would be accomplishing this through their Multi-Jurisdictional Task Force consisting principally of foreign troops.
In times of emergency, our physical goods distribution system will be quickly disrupted. Within hours, the shelves of the supermarkets will be bare. The result will be a large segment of the population on its knees within days. FEMA will respond by trading food for its compliance, including the surrender of firearms. With a weakened U.S. Military largely off shore, U.N. “peace-keepers” already in the country will enforce FEMA edicts. Experts confirm that troops left in this country will consist of those screened for the correct attitudes, with units configured as light infantry trained to quell urban unrest. Given the history of a national government which has rendered the U.S. Constitution virtually inoperative, and repeatedly shows its intent to destroy our legal rights while surrendering American sovereignty, there can be but one conclusion: FEMA is both the blueprint and central mechanism for tyranny. Former Representative Henry Gonzalaz (D-Texas) stated tht the U.S. is poised to declare a national emergency and martial law-legally. This is control folks, its coming to a neighborhood just like your real soon!!!

  • Since FDR’s ‘New Deal’ in 1933, USA people have increasingly viewed the govt as a mother and manager, responsible to ‘make life good’ (health, housing, edu, food, job, etc). Entitlemrnts abound, much of it paid by fake money from the Federal Reserve, which also finances excess imports and thus offshoring of jobs. The govt has become paternalistic and the people parasitic. ‘Gang-theft-by-vote’ Progressive taxation, targeting any one with money, is accepted as moral. Interest groups, and business and union leaders, seek handouts and legal favors from politicians, in exchange for votes and campaign donations. We are seeing the results in Detroit, WI, and crime reports. As your article warns, it will get worse. Sad

But it’s getting harder to find the truth. That is how the elite want it. Kind of hard to be kept captive, if you know what’s really going on around you. You have to sift through a lot of mainstream media BS, just to get an idea of what’s going on. That’s why the Internet is such a vital source of information these days.

“we also have to admit that the American people don’t seem to be made of the same “stuff” that they used to.”

    That is literally true.

The best, if trends continue, one can hope for is a Brazil version of USA the more likely is a Mexico version of USA.

Those who CAN should flee now.

    @ Global Perspective:

I just love you smug Europeans. You act like you are so above every one, when some the the worst rioting footage has come from your “superior” countries. Keep it up! You really crack me up! 🙂 (and don’t forget, if it wasn’t for us “pig, ignorant sheeple”, you all would be speaking GERMAN!)

I heard that during the Egyptian riots, the home owners and storekeepers were shooting the looters. Might just come to that.

    Murder. Pillaging. Raping. Stealing. Looting.

This is just human nature running its course. When you remove the basic necessities of the human being, you will truly see the human being.

Ideologies, values, moral codes….these things mean nothing…relics of age-old attempts at justifying misguided behaviors. Human nature, human behavior, will define our actions. In the absence of sustenance, these actions will not bode well for many.

The Air Force is getting ready to have an exercise, they do not do this for no reason at all there is a purpose behind all their exercises, this is Space Weather, at Offut AFB, Solar Storms, anyday we are going to have a Solar Storm, NASA and Solar Storms, all power grids will be gone. Your car ect… Hve you ever wondered why cities all have clover-leaf type exit roads?? The reasons is that they can be blocked off very easy, place a armored veh. and a few troops and you cannot get out, mobs, no food, gangs, and they way people are today, no care at all for there fellow man, they will think nothing about doing away with you.

If you’re thinking cash, gold, and silver are going to still be valuable when it all comes crashing down, you’re wrong. If America turns into a “Mad Max” type of society and the dollar crashes, gold and silver will be worthless metal. You can’t eat either of them, so they will have no value. These will be the new valuable trading commodities once the crash comes:

    – Food
    – Clean drinking water/water purification systems
    – Gasoline/diesel/propane
    – Guns & Ammo
    – Fishing poles
    – A bow & arrows
    – First aid supplies/medicines
    – Tools
    – Lighters/matches
    – Firewood
    – Toilet paper
    – Batteries
    – Generators
    – Warm clothing
    – Livestock

Stock up on these things and you’ll be “rich” b/c you’ll have all the necessities for survival. The people with a lot of gold and silver & nothing else will be poor since these can’t be used for survival.

Everyone, and I mean everyone, needs to own more than one semi-automatic weapon – problem solved.

Long, long ago, even further back than 1959, there was a tower called Babel. It was supposedly built to reach the heavens. God took care of that little project in short order, and people started speaking different languages, unable to understand each other as they built their tower.

Flash forward to 2011. What are the tallest skyscrapers and buildings in most major cities today?

Look around your local town/city – find the tallest building, and tell me it isn’t true. Most likely it’s a steel and glass behemoth owned or occupied by JPMorgan Chase, or Wells Fargo, or Bank of America…Lehman Brothers (oh wait, they’re dead)…Citibank…Bank of London…the list goes on.

Big banks stole from the people, and proceeded to build these giant skyscrapers as a testament to their power and influence.

And God will bring those monuments to financial greed and excess down to earth too – figuratively, if not literally. And other “languages” are coming, too. Like yen, euros, pesos, rubles, etc. (Nobody will speak, i.e. transact, in U.S. dollars. Hyperinflation will make them worthless.) The day will come when it’s cheaper to use a dollar bill for toilet paper, than it will be to buy toilet paper using U.S. dollars. It’s starting to sprinkle. Soon, a hard rain is gonna fall.

I just wonder how all those who orchestrated our demise live with themselves. Destroying their nation, ruining everything they grew up with. So sick, and it took so much cooperation, from so many people. All I’m confident in predicting is that no one will feel sorry for that place they used to call the US of A, unlike after 9/11.

  • Paul

The guy in the clip said the thing to do was watch the mob rob your store, and not interfere. If that is not a prescription for more such robberies, I don’t know what is.

What will stop it, is shooting a few looters. Only problem with that is the biggest gang of all, government, does not like that. They prefer to hold a monopoly on shooting people. Don’t look for things to improve until people start ignoring the government.

  • david

If we go back 50 years, that’ll be okay. The younger couple of generations will be at a loss as to how to cope, but it’ll be liveable, just not opulent, like they’re used to. BTW–the writer seems to be aghast when confronted by the ugly reality of human nature. If he believed the Bible he’d have no such reaction of amazement. He’d just say, along with some Russian believers I know, “What do you expect?”

  • Otown Right Guy

At least the mobs have the cojones to do the robbing themselves. Gutless malcontents like Gary2 want government to do the robbing for them.

  • Mary

Louise in Missouri, I know exactly how you lived. I was born in 1950 and grew up the same way. The closest thing to poverty I’ve ever come (that I knew about) was as a young married woman trying to prepare decent meals for my family during the late 70’s/early 80’s stagflation period. Bean soup, potato soup, and beans and weiners were our staples. But soon, those years willbe eclipsed by a new depression. I imagine this has already happened in some parts ofour country.

I have a 21 y.o. son who works as a lower level manager at a retail/grocery store in a fairly affluent part of a suburb of a medium sized city, and theft has become more frequent as well as completely blatant. We’re not just talking about kids! Management at his store doesn’t do much to stop it -first of all too big, second of all lawsuits if the perpetrator is “hurt”, and third, they don’t want their employees hurt.

One day soon, retail stores will be forced to shut down their 24 hour open doors, as theft in the wee hours is more dangerous to late shoppers and employees.

What an unfolding nightmare Americas become. So very tragic! And many more horrors to come.

  • Jim

Well, this is what happens when the government (by way of public schools, welfare, and ‘civil rights’ laws) raises people.

Black folks–sure to be at the vanguard of looting every time–are some of the MOST dependent on govt for their livliehoods and see how quick they are to rape, pillage, and rob.

White folks, more and more, have followed fright after the blacks…and the results are predictable.

Welfarism has destroyed the moral character of America and people have almost completely lost respect for private property and individual rights.

This article is an excellent argument for high-capacity magazines and area denial weapons (especially simple ones you can purchase legally or make at home).

  • Rob Hicks

I really enjoy analyzing logic games. Whenever I hear or read an argument, I am always looking for gaps in logic and upsupported conclusions. As you can imagine, there are a lot of them out there. I find it entertaining. Anyway, here is my take on this article.

This article is titled “Mob Robbers and Rampant Looting: Is this the future of America?” The main idea of the story is “Whats going to happen when the economy collapses?” Half way through the article you make a statement that mob robbers and looting are not only in big cities but occur everywhere, then provide some random child abuse case from Oklahoma as support. While I agree child abuse is a bad thing, I don’t see the relationship to “What is going to happen when the economy collapses?” A failure in logic.

can anything stop this runaway train?
    14 trillion debt.
millions of baby boomers ready to retire.
govt unwilling to cut to the bone.
how can anyone see any other outcome.
please tell me theres an answer!

  • Bob

The way to combat mob robbers and looters is to poisen or booby trap some of the widely available stock during times when the store is closed. You would not tell anyone about this in order that the looters won’t know where the product came from. The thieves would become afraid of using stolen food.

Seeker: I live in the Port Richmond section of Philadelphia. My neighborhood is decent, but walk about a mile to the west, and you’re in a very nasty part of Kensington—an absolute war zone. I once warned a visitor from out of town not to wander too far west of Aramingo Avenue; when he made the mistake of walking toward Somerset St. and Kensington Ave., he understood why.

And when the economy of The Banana Republic of America (formerly the USA) goes from bad to worse, all hell is going to break out in this city. How dangerous will things get? I’m talking Johannesburg bad, Caracas bad, Ciudad Juarez bad, Port Moresby bad. God help the BRA.

This is why the second amendment is in place. You have the RIGHT to defend what is yours. If this were my store they would be picking afros and what little brains they have off my walls. If enough of these scumbags die, the trend would end soon enough. They do it because they know they can get away with it. Looking down the barrel of a shot gun after seeing their leaders head removed would make the food much less appealing. Americans are now a bunch of wimps. The real men are all gone. It is such a shame.

  • I can’t guess what really happened with the site of the Bank of America. They say something that will calm the people, but is this really the true? I really hope that the information of our accounts won’t be affected by this!

I know the area somewhat. My Mom was from there and went to a Polish / Catholic school around the corner.

K&A had a well deserved reputation for some time.

You got to get out of there. Don’t go east to NJ.

  • First, one needs to find way for a solution to the situation
Second, we lost our spiritual center. The soul is starving for food that will nourish the deeper need of “Why We Are Here”.
Third, We need to become responsibility citizen to our selves and our society.
Four, We are connected with all living things and our service to humanity is to reach out with new hope and action.

here in Québec and in the rest of Canada, especially in my own prosperous region, the Abitibi, we have not had the collapse that is taking place, with ever increasing speed in the corrupt society of the U. S. of A., largely because the Canadian government regulates the banks and financial sector, preventing the kind of corporate robbert that is eviscerating the U.S. economy and creating such devastating social impacts.

I just hope that Québec and Canada can keep the American contagion south of our shared border and that masses of crazed Yankees do not try to storm over our border to pillage prosperous and calm Canadian municipalities and farms and their peoples. The possibility of being torn to shreads by rampaging American savages (of all races and ethnicities) is really frightening!

Gringos, stay where you are! We do not want you in Canada if you are here for evil purposes!

  • Paul in Chicago

Jerry Parker (March 7th, 2011 at 2:31 am) of prosperous region, the Abitibi, you seem a little bitter. Perhaps you are or were once married to a lovely lady from Roseville, Michigan.

Speaking of Michigan, I grew up in Detroit. 5766 Bedford. Check it out at It actually looks a lot better than I expected to find it. Grass looks ok, and there are even flowers out front. The neighbors’ houses, however, are looking a little rough, and that tree really needs to be trimmed. But in all, it looks better than I expected to find it.

By the way, Canada is south, yes south, of my old house. It’s a really, really short drive.

So what should we do? Tax everyone 100% of their earnings and give the money to the minority mooching class?

  • @Jack Nichols who posted on February 27th, 2011 at 8:39 am

Mr. Nichols, excellent post. I agree with you 100%. Prepared, stocked and ready for this roman candle to light up. This will be a rugged indvidualist finest hour.

“See, their morals, their code… it’s a bad joke, dropped at the first sign of trouble. They’re only as good as the world allows them to be. I’ll show you. When the chips are down, these uh, these “civilized people”, they’ll eat each other” Joker–The Dark Knight

For me, if things went back to having to use horses as transportation, and living off the land, it wouldn’t be so bad. I just feel sort of bad for the people who live in town. When the economy does die, they won’t have anything, while in the country, we have livestock, horses for transport, and the ability to grow very large gardens. Nothing will ever help North America, because it is the end time.

  • Mike

The biggest problem with America, is that we have become a godless nation of sin. Abortion, contraception, all kinds of sexual perversions (adultery, fornication, homosexuality, pornography, etc), divorce and remarriage, etc.
When you push god out of a society, evil and the devil enters.

We need to repent and return back to God. God is speaking to the whole world through all these natural disasters, but no one is listening. “God is dead” they cry, don’t tell me what to do; its my body – I’ll kill my unborn child if I want to…. and the list goes on. A defiant unrepentant society on their way to hell, as America goes the way of the Roman Empire.

  • Prepper

I like greek63’s approach and cudnt agree more and id like to add that about 90 percent of the crime would end if there were neck tie conventions in the town square again and left on display and i dont wana hear no arguments about the effectiveness of executing these scumbags out commiting rape and murder cuz we all know it takes years for justice to be carried out and by then its forgotten about, and i know with 100% certainty there will be no repeat offenders like the child molesters who continue to strike again and again. Once inflation gets high enough and food stamps will only buy about third of what they were ,i would like to see the look on these liberals faces as the golden hordes of govt dependent generations rape, burn, pillage and loot their homes and businesses. For anyone who doesnt know how humanity acts when somethng doesnt go as desired just youtube the LA riots or Catrina.

  • Thelma

I see it coming but I’m on Social Security and haven’t been able to get enough goods to last for six months. I’m doing as much as I can. I do garden and can but the thought of people robbing and burning the town down scares the heck out of me. Females have no defense. Some folks I know are blind to the fact that the economy is going to fail and like me they aren’t truly prepared. I know how to survive without electricity but not heat. That truly will be a sad sad day for most Americans.
