Stagflation! the next great American plague! No jobs rising prices as the dollar falls and nothing moving in the economy! All bound up in rising debt and a spoiled population still with notions of “Entitlement” over at least the highly productive, well educated, veggies and rice eating Asians, just because the wave the right flag? Have a “Bomb”? Skin color? Superior intellects? Good looks? Arrogant British ancestry? What the Hell?

I love the certainty with which the collapse is predicted. It’s as if technological progress, or a revaluation of the remimbi can’t occur, in the next decade. If the Chinese currency rises 20-25% over the next few years, it will drastically change our employment, balance of payments, and government receipts. If we can get the 8 million who lost jobs under Bush back to work, plus generate new jobs, government expenses will decrease and revenues will increase. I am not willing to bet that we cannot create new jobs in America and that we are fixed in a spiral of deflation and job lose, we can’t escape. We may be too irrational not to implode, but the future is a matter of choice, if we enact good policies we can prosper.

If tou really think system is going to collapse, then yoou should borrow as much as you can to buy gold & silver. If you;re paying down debt it;s avote for low inflation.

It’s pretty obvious what is coming if you are able to use your own mind. Sadly most people are still hypnotised by the media’s ‘smoke and mirrors’ routine and will get a horrendous shock when the house of cards come down. I’m clearing my debts, preparing for sustainable living and putting by non-perishable foods. If the crisis doesn’t come (unlikely) I will still be better off for making these changes and I’d advise everyone to do the same.

Another funny thing: After years of putting up with my business lines being terminated,cut or changed without reason(my credit was good)- I took the liberty to tell them it will be my policy henceforth to forgo their “minimum amount due”, and shove their threats of a credit default stigma up their ass.

My only regret is that I held on for as long as I did.
