I know one senator on the banking committee that hauled Dimon in front of it for the trading loss. He should have recused himself and is a prime example of how our government has been captured by the banking and financial industry. Bob Corker. JP Morgan contributed $30k to his campaign. Not only Bobby, but 6 other members on the committee received substantial contributions as well. Given that, those senators would have us believe they were impartial on those hearings. Sure. And as soon as Obama lowers the oceans I have some great beachfront property to sell you 1 mile offshore.

This article does NOT tell you that they only charge like / about a flat $.07 to .08 cents per electronic verification transaction, which surely can’t be much more over cost. Unlike MC or Visa which charges like $.20 cents to .25 cents per transaction plus a percentage like 1.75% of the amount total on a retail transaction. So lumping the Gross total $560 Million, together as if it is all profit, is not exactly the truth. And we are all looking for the truth right?, among the propaganda, and the lack of understanding by authors of articles like this, that like to create shock outrage. The real outrage is America’s unemployment and destruction of our manufacturing base here. Wait till a Solar Flare or EMP hits and all these electronic EBT systems goes down and the 47 Million people can no longer redeem plastic for food. Now that’s a story that needs to be reported.
