I can comment on some of these companies. Believe it or not, Obama (or the government) had little or nothing to do with their demise. The number before is how many stores have been closed.

405 Blockbuster

Outmoded business model. People can watch movies online, or have netflicks, or something that is much more convenient than having to rent and return.

633 Borders
People are buying less books. Has something to do with the economic depression, but more has to do with freer information online and the rise of book computers like Nook and Kindle.

200 GameStop
Video games for the most part are on the wane. Again, most games can be played online. Besides, game stores like GameStop have been ridiculously expensive for many years so I dont feel sad that they are dying.

189 Gap

Gap is too expensive for what it is. Can get something of similar quality in Big Box stores. The economy has been moving away from the malls. Malls are late 20th Century.

60 Rite Aid

Lots of competition in the drug store business.

45 Family Dollar

This place sells crap and is poor competition next to Wal Mart.

43 Sonic Drive-In

Sonic is overpriced crappy fast food. I have never liked their setup.

35 Denny’s

Crappy diner food. Probably a victim of the economy since less people have less disposable income to get drunk and high and want a place to eat at 3 AM.

30 Ultimate Electronics

Wal Mart kicked your ass and sodomized your dog.

28 Dominos

Dominos Pizza is garbage and less people want to spend 10 plus dollars to eat gooey, greasy, gut bomb pizza.

20 Lowe’s

A hangout for illegals. Too much competion from other places that are also hang outs for illegals.

Once upon a time, Sears had great products, at a great price, and American-made. No cheap plastic…just good quality products that lasted for generations (like Maytag appliances). Such stores closings may in fact make it that only Walmart will exist. I guess in hindsight, the movie Demolition Man should have referred to Walmart instead of Taco Bell! HA!

You left out bestiality – I think they are teaching that as acceptable now in government schools also – at least I know it is allowable in the U.S. Military now that “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell is no longer in effect – which is fine with me, a pissed off Homosexual can make a lethal soldier – but bestiality?

Will the taxpayer now have to pay for fencing in pastures on Military Bases? We are taxed enough already.

Did I say that they should be in school? No, I asked you why they shouldn’t be and if more importantly – if you had anything against them.

I also do not believe they should be in school – what and individual believes is his or her own business – we will all be leaving this world alone.

I am confused. Isn’t the store closing a good sign? It is often discussed that many people in america spending money they don’t have on crap they don’t need. So isn’t this a sign that maybe the false economy of good purchased on credit is stabilizing? And we will be left with only the stores that supply the real needs? I know it means that people will be losing jobs, but doesn’t that make room for providing services and goods that are necessary?

No, they won’t pay for it out of their pockets, but with their backs or lives they will pay for it. Ever heard the borrower is servant to the lender. This is the course for the future. Call it what you want….serfdom, indentured servants, or slaves. It’s all the same. They have the power and they will have to conform or die.

Why teach them atheism? This too is a religion. Why teach them about the theory of evolution because this too is a religion? Why teach them about homosexuality? This too is a religion. The whys can go on and on. Remember this was a nation founded on Judeo-Christian beliefs. Why not go back to teaching children the basics: reading, writing, arithmetic? Leave the issues of morality, sexuality, etc.. at home if you don’t want the 10 commandments; then we don’t want your monkey ancestor, homosexual loving life style, etc… to be taught either.

Yes, the Congress has failed us, but let us not forget the President has veto power. Obama and Bush have also been on an “executive order” frenzy. Let’s not forget the Supreme Court not having the guts to rule in favor of what is right. We need term limits NOW. We need the money train from companies going into the pockets of politicians to stop now. We need the socialism to stop. If a company is going to go belly up, well, that’s their problem not ours. No company is too BIG to fail. Let it fail. Stop bringing in the goods from China. Let’s go back to American made products. Repeal NAFTA. Limit the size of government and we will see America become the great nation it once was in the past. Neither party is good. I await the day when we have a really viable Independent nominee to run for POTUS.

With Sears announcing the closures of more than 100 stores, the future does not look good for ths company. I like Sears, but it does not change the fact that they are losing cuntomers. If Sears were to file Chapter 11 bankruptcy two or three years from now, it would have a major impact on the American economy. As for the national debt, the European financial crisis, unemployment rate, home foreclosures, a possible worldwide recession, illegal immigration, and many other economic and social problems, in my opinion 2012 will be worse than 2011.

I just donated another $100 to Paul. I am now up over $500 total. I consider it a down payment on my grand children’s future. Plus I am 66 years old and on a limited income but I will do with out food to support this man. Our country depends on it. I did not stay in Vietnam for 13 months for nothing.
