You can’t blame the education system. My dad, born in the 1920’s was probably more aware of current events and history than most university graduates, simply because he was curious, analytical and an avid reader.
Westerners have become lazy and complacent with no motivation or curiosity. I see my grandchildren isolating themselves from any form of reality with pop culture and idol worship, having no interest in history or current events and completely disinterested in learning anything of substance even while at school. If you crashed the entire system, they would be more pissed that their favourite ‘reality’ show was unavailable than about the reasons their pathetic lives are about to change for the worse – permanently.

Those that get the news from controlled corporate media or those that believe ignorance is bliss and then you have the Dumb down Americans (an unfortunate product of our society for the last 30 to 40 years) due to the government controlled education system.
So what do we do? We fight back and wake up the masses, get Vocal. That doesn’t mean more blogs, we’re already awake. Take that energy and focus it.
How long do you think it would take if we targeted the five largest corporate media outlets? Let’s say we take down the servers and phone lines by creating a massive bandwidth constriction / traffic jam in the internet’s history. We can shut down or impair the telephone systems as well. Believe it or not we have the numbers already to accomplish this task. All we need is some good o fashioned journalism to get the word out to masses. Once we get corporate media’s attention we focus our energy on Washington. We are the power and it’s time to clean house.
