Wars, Rumors Of Wars, Skyrocketing Oil Prices And Global Economic Chaos – Why Is All Of This Happening?

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

Did anyone out there anticipate that 2011 would be such a wild year?  The year is barely over two months old and we have already seen multiple civil wars erupt, rumors of more wars all over the mainstream media (potentially even including the United States), riots and revolutions breaking out all over the globe, oil prices soaring into the stratosphere and chaos on global financial markets.  So why is all of this happening?  Is all of this one big coincidence or is there a reason why we are witnessing such global chaos right now?  Is it just coincidence that revolutions have broken out in over a dozen countries in the Middle East all at the same time?  Is it just a coincidence that global prices for oil, food and precious metals are all skyrocketing?  Is it just a coincidence that world financial markets suddenly seem more vulnerable than at any time since 2008?  Looking at what is going on in the world right now, it is very tempting to use the phrase “a perfect storm” to describe it.  Unfortunately, this “perfect storm” is very likely to plunge the global economy into yet another financial collapse if it continues to get even worse.

After decades of relative stability, the Middle East has erupted in chaos in 2011.  In the post-World War 2 era, we have never seen a time when there have been so many major internal revolutions all at once.  All of these simultaneous revolutions are driving the price of oil rapidly upwards.

The price of West Texas crude is now over $102 a barrel and the price of Brent crude is now over $116 a barrel and if the chaos in the Middle East continues those numbers are likely to go a lot higher.

Meanwhile, gold has set a new all-time record this week and the price of silver is absolutely exploding.

In fact, just about every kind of “hard asset” that you can possibly name is going up in price.  Investors don’t like all of this instability and they are looking for safe places to put their money.

Unfortunately, the global situation looks like it may become even more heated.

The calls for military action against Libya are rapidly reaching a crescendo.

The U.S. Senate has unanimously passed a resolution calling for the UN Security Council to impose a no-fly zone over Libya, and many members of Congress are openly declaring that the U.S. and NATO should take unilateral action no matter what the UN ultimately decides.

But implementing a no-fly zone is not a simple thing.  It is not just a matter of telling Libya not to fly their planes.  Rather, imposing a no-fly zone over Libya would constitute a major military operation.

U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates is even admitting that enforcing a no-fly zone over Libya would begin with a huge military strike…..

“Let’s just call a spade a spade. A no-fly zone begins with an attack on Libya to destroy the air defenses … and then you can fly planes around the country and not worry about our guys being shot down.”

U.S. commander General James Mattis made a similar comment on Tuesday….

You would have to remove the air defense capability in order to establish the no-fly zone so it – no illusions here, it would be a military operation.

Essentially, imposing a no-fly zone over Libya would be an act of war.

Most of our representatives in Washington D.C. seem to be quite ready to go to war in Libya, but it is another story entirely when it comes to the American people.  A recent Rasmussen poll found that a whopping 67 percent of Americans do not want the U.S. to get more involved in the unrest going on in Arab countries and only 17 percent of Americans do want the U.S. to get more directly involved.

But the American people don’t get to decide whether we go to war or not.  Our leaders in Washington D.C. do.  The USS Enterprise and other major warships are on their way to Libya, and U.S. forces throughout the Mediterranean are on high alert.

So could the U.S. really get involved in another war in the Middle East?

Well, if the U.S. and NATO choose to get involved they will do it without the approval of the rest of the world.

On Wednesday, the Arab League issued a statement which specifically rejected “any foreign interference within Libya on behalf of the opposition”.

Not only that, but any military action by the UN will most likely be blocked by both China and Russia.

Russia’s ambassador to NATO, Dmitry Rogozin, says that any military action against Libya without UN approval would be a violation of international law….

“If someone in Washington is seeking a blitzkrieg in Libya, it is a serious mistake because any use of military force outside the NATO responsibility zone will be considered a violation of international law.”

But Libya is far from the only crisis point in the Middle East.

In fact, a much larger problem may be brewing in Saudi Arabia.

On Facebook, a “Day of Rage” is being hyped for March 11th.  Other dates being promoted for “revolution” in Saudi Arabia include March 20th and March 21st.

But if Saudi Arabia sees the same kind of chaos that we have seen in other countries in the Middle East there is no telling how high the price of oil could go.

Could we see $125 oil?

Could we see $150 oil?

Could we see $200 oil?

Saudi Arabia exports more oil than anyone else in the world, so if their oil production gets interrupted it is going to have a dramatic impact on the global economy.

For example, are you ready to pay 5 dollars for a gallon of gasoline in the United States?

For decades, the entire globe has been blessed with very cheap oil and this has resulted in a massive economic boom.

But times are changing.

The economic situation over in Europe is already deteriorating and any additional bad news could plunge that entire continent into a major crisis.  A recently released report from Ernst & Young is warning that if oil goes up to 150 dollars a barrel and it stays there, “at least” one eurozone country will default and the entire eurozone will be plunged back into recession.

A much higher price for oil would obviously not be good for the U.S. economy either.  Do you remember what happened back in 2008?  The price of oil hit a record high in June and then the entire financial system came unglued just a few months later.

But if we see a repeat of 2008 it may be a lot worse this time because the global financial system is now more unstable than ever.

The truth is that the entire world is still trying to recover from the last financial crisis.  The Federal Reserve is pumping massive quantities of dollars into the U.S. economy in an attempt to stimulate it back to life, but so far it is not working too well.

The rest of the world does not appreciate all of this “money printing” and the inflation that this is causing is beginning to create massive imbalances on global financial markets.

The world is starting to lose faith in the U.S. dollar.  Right now, approximately 85% of all foreign-exchange transactions in the world involve the U.S. dollar.  Not only that, 60% of all the currency reserves in the world are in U.S. dollars.  With the U.S. dollar rapidly becoming less stable, many are now wondering if it should continue to be used as the reserve currency of the world.

The truth is that if the U.S. dollar falls, it is going to create a tremendous amount of financial chaos in almost every nation on the globe.

Unfortunately, as I have written about so many times previously, the U.S. economy is dying.  The U.S. government is absolutely drowning in debt, and leaders all over the planet are calling for the establishment of a new global reserve currency.

The days of the United States being the “economic engine of the planet” are rapidly coming to an end.

The U.S. economy is not ever going to fully “recover”.  In fact, the U.S. economy is basically “running on empty” at this point as Gerald Celente recently noted during an interview on RT television….

The entire U.S. economy was designed to operate on massive amounts of very cheap oil.  Americans do more driving than anyone else in the world.  Many of us are so lazy that we won’t even walk to a store if it is on the other side of the parking lot.

If oil hits record levels in 2011, it is going to be a massive shock to the U.S. economic system.  Any hopes for an “economic recovery” will be completely dashed.

In fact, if one wanted to “take down” the U.S. economy, driving up the price of oil would be a perfect way to do it.

And if one wanted to drive up the price of oil, a perfect way to do that would be to create all kinds of chaos in the Middle East.

So is all of this craziness that we are seeing in 2011 just a big coincidence or is there a reason why all of this is happening?

Please feel free to leave a comment with your opinion on the matter below….

good rant on this subject. Yes, the Egyptian revolt was staged through Google’s connections to the CIA. This being done because they felt it was better to have a controlled revolution than an anarchical one.
But now things are way way out of control, and especially after March 12 this year, we will have a shut down US congress to deal with as well.

It will be very fun reading and a great news cycle. Too bad so many have to die just to satisfy the bankers.

  • Peter E

If the US attacks Libya, you can almost guarantee that the oils fields there will be deliberately sabotaged. Instead of waiting for the crisis there to work itself out and Gadaffi to be removed, it will take a long time to repair the damage (to the wells and infrastructure as well as the price of oil).

The majority of Libyans don’t want outside help. The US presence would only encourage Islamic extremists and widen the conflict. It would swell the appeal of the radicals and provide a rallying call. The US would have added a new enemy. It may also precipitate demands from more moderate Islamic states (like Saudi Arabia) to support Gadaffi’s regime in the form of oil cuts/ sanctions and/or refusal to purchase US treasuries. Do you think the Saudi government having seen US support for regime change (like Clinton’s visit to African last year, where she stated the US support for democracy and change) is going to believe it would act to support for the Saudi gov when it has acted to encourage the fall of the Egyptian government. Egypt even had a treaty with Israel, a US friend. What can the Saudis expect??? It would bolster support for Iran and its regime. If the US attacks, look for $200+ oil very soon. Say goodbye to the economy. On the positive side Chinese made goods will spike in price due to shipment costs – but then again the US is dependent on those too!

“So is all of this craziness that we are seeing in 2011 just a big coincidence or is there a reason why all of this is happening?”

It has been laid out for us in the Bible…God has told us, forewarned us…..and humans, being the greedy, selfish arrogant people we are….have turned a blind eye to Him. All tht is going on isn’t s surprise to those who believe in His Word and have listened and seen the Truth.
Why is this happening? We are heading into end times…..if you really think about it….how much more can this earth take before we literally destroy each other? He will intervene…..but He will allow us to take it to the brink.
Afraid….not me as I know how this all ends. When is a different subject.

  • The Beast

Our reliance on oil is unsustainable. Being unsustainable means at some point in time it will be over. Apparently that time is nearing.
The unjust distribution of global wealth is also unsustainable. The higher awareness of people around the world caused by the proliferation and spread of internet marks the nearing of the end of this unjust distribution.
History dictates that any change that is being resisted will result in maelstrom of revolution and rebellion. This occurred when the Western Roman Empire fell, when the Tang Dynasty fell, when the Abbasids and Omayyad dynasties fell. What is about to happen in our very near future is that kind of revolution, but it will happen on a global scale, thanks to the globalization that was brought by the “US Empire” (soon to fall).

  • Tom Brown

It is intentional. Provocateurs have fomented the discord, a one world currency is on the way!

  • Gee,

This article is just begging for a comment asserting that the near simultaneous revolts in the middle east must be orchestrated by some nefarious force that will profit from the Middle East Chaos.

That nefarious force can not be the U.S., because their whole industrial civilization is dependent on oil. So, it would not make sense to ‘shoot themselves in the foot, right?’

Of course, that would depend on whether both feet are attached to the same body, i.e., the U.S., national body.

Capitalism, (whether one believes it to be good or bad is irrelevant). Capitalism does dictate the fittest is fit to reach the top, and then monopolize the activities of lesser competitors.

So, when ‘one is shooting themselves in the foot,’ is one really shooting themselves in one’s own foot, or the foot of the competing owner of the other foot?

Mmmm? It seems the U.S., is not a single body, but is composed of numerous bodies eager to bury the bodies of competitors.

So, do they give a flying fuck whether that competitor is a fellow American?

I think not? Yet, when one American competitor eliminates his fellow American Competitor, is he not eliminating a bit of America itself?

Now, think of all the industries in America that continue to eliminate each other. How, you ask.

Why, off shoring productive capacity to other nations. In effect, American business does not know, or cares, that it’s shooting itself in the foot?

Why? Because there is no America. There are just competing interests that happen to share the same land called America.

In this context, do not imply in your article that some outside coniferous force is sabotaging America’s interests. There is no America. There only competing forces sharing the same land.

In this context, the financial interests of the ‘American Land,’ will profit from the chaos in the Middle as it drives up the value of their shares in oil, gasoline, benzene, kerosene, lubricants, tar, etc.

The fact that manufacturing industries’ profitability on ‘The American Land’ decline
as a result of this escalation of oil related products is not relevant to financial interests that shares the same ‘American Land.’

Why? Because there is no America. There are just competing interests that reside on the same land mass called North America.

The ‘goings on’ in the Middle East either serves one competing interest, or the other,
on that land mass called North America.

    So, don’t cry ‘article writer.’

You should be happy. The real winner is what you most believe in: Capitalism.

So, enjoy the fruits of your efforts. You worked hard for almost 200 years to reach where you are now.

And now, you are now enjoying the fruits of your hard won labor.

So, stop crying and enjoy the ride.

You are now an American Success Story!!!!!!!!!

Republicans have fought for years to protect oil companies and prevent other energy sources from being available. The GOP cares about the rich and the corporations but not about the middle class.

  • On a global scale, chaos is the result of commodity shortages and the cost of these commodities.

    (1) The US government has increased the demand for commodities by giving most US middle class wealth to emerging nations such as China.

    (2) The US government has increased the cost of commodities by irresponsible fiscal and monetary policy resulting in debt and money supply expansion.

    (3) The Federal Reserve has increased the cost of commodities by giving free money to Wall Street for commodity speculation.

Washington is solving our energy problem by giving our energy reserves to foreign investors / nations. Here are a few examples:

    (1) BHP Billiton makes $4.75 billion push into U.S. shale gas.

    (2) Cnooc Buys Chesapeake US Shale Oil, Gas Assets For $570 Million.

    (3) India Plans to Sign U.S. Shale Gas Accord During Obama Visit.

The Middle East has erupted in chaos because the US government screwed up the balance of power between Shia and Sunni Muslims by invading Iraq.

All of this craziness that we are seeing in 2011 is not just a big coincidence. It is the result of an incompetent US government.

No fly zone over Lybia and attack on their air defense will be just another reason to grab some oil, like in Iraq.

The blog moderator posits, “But the American people don’t get to decide whether we go to war or not. Our leaders in Washington D.C. do”.

I say, let them reinstitute the Military Draft and then we’ll see who decides what!!!

I am sorry but I am all burned out (have been for yrs.) on the, be very afraid, Chicken Little, the sky is falling syndrome and tactics. I say quit threatening disaster and bring it on. After all is losing what is going on really going to be that big a loss?
Furthermore, I’ll feel a great sense of relief when the economy collapses. IT’S NOT WORKING ANYWAY IS IT??

I could careless if the global economy collapses, that too will impart a great sense of relief for me.

Besides when what is going to be offered up in its place is revealed I think millions of eyes will finally be opened (THEN THE REAL TRIBULATION BEGINS). As the mysteries say. . .

I could careless about the price of Monkey Money, aka gold/silver, can I eat them? Any man, woman or child that has talent and is capable and willing will be able to offer something of value to others and can thereby earn a living, it’s called bartering. I don’t need fiat money, usury or interest rates. I don’t need a credit rating or credit cards.
I need this monstrous system that is eating people alive to be dismantled, and rendered into history as an example of which to NEVER RETURN.

Food for thought to the sellouts, charlatans, establishment automatons, talking heads, technocrats, bureaucrats, sycophants, etc. those that are closest to the beast get eaten first.

We are witnessing the official beginning of the end of the American economy. Better be ready for what’s coming next: the collapse of the US Dollar.

  • JJ

Wow, the last thing the US needs budget-wise is another war. The war itself won’t last long at all. If rag-tag rebels are beating back Kadaffi’s forces, his military wouldn’t even last for a week against ours.

Once the “war” is won though, you can probably expect a US military occupation for years like Iraq or Afghanistan.

  • Randy

Everything is controlled by the wealthy elite. They have a plan and it working to near perfection for them. They want the new world order, one global currency and China is the top on their list today as the country of choice. The days of the dollar as the world reserve currency are numbered. They want to kill the dollar and the US economy and make things so bad in the US that the people will welcome a new currency when they present it as a saving grace. Use a few people to start riots in the middle east and it grows, causing oil to spike which will tank the US economy. It is all by design. It’s just a matter of time before we have riots in the US, looting, hyperinflation and a worthless paper monetary system. Our government are only puppets of the wealthy (bankers, goldman sachs, etc) They won’t accomplish anything and no longer represent the people, only the wealthy. Things in the US will go to hell in the next 2 to 3 years. Buy silver, stock up on food and water, enough for 6 months to a year, if you can afford it, and have at least one firearm for protection. Get prepared for the hell that is coming

  • Patriot Alice

We just have too much debt. It destroys people, families and nations. I hope the reduction of debt and deficits throughout our nation will become a most important issue. I’d rather support someone unemployed ( $21,000 a year), who is trying/looking/creating a job, than someone in a pretend job, who is “Employed”producing nothing, at $123,000 a year, and spending it buying foreign products!

  • The only real resolution to this problem for us Americans is secession or outright abolishing the federal government completely. The Anti-Federalists were exactly right in their judgment that forming a centralized federal government with actual power would lead to totalitarianism and tyranny.

The U.S. federal government consists of professional bureaucrats, politicians, lobbyists and lawyers, i.e. numskulls, knuckleheads, nincompoops and gangsters. The U.S. government has done nothing but damage America.

Abolishing the federal government completely, right now, and returning full independence and sovereignty back to the states (which includes abolishing the Federal Reserve and legalizing competing currencies and letting states return to gold and silver) is the only way to ensure real freedom and prosperity in America. In that way, no one state could possibly have the size and power that the current U.S. government has, and couldn’t possibly invade and occupy other countries or states without a serious retaliation back at it, and wouldn’t be able to inflict the kind of damage that the U.S. government has inflicted on other countries and on its own people.

Decentralization is the only path to freedom and prosperity. I’m in. How about you?

  • CLM

So Lumi, Please explain where all the oil we invaded Iraq is at present. We should be overflowing with the stuff if what you say is true.

  • Pulgosa

    This is all rather unsettling.

    I need a hug…

  • ZeroCool

Maybe, all the people in Middle East are fed up with the pro-US puppets whiche were installed in the end of 70s. Since these puppets are not in a position any more to deliver enough food and prosperity to their people, dued to the fastly rising food inflation. It is not like in Europe or US where 10 dollars or 10 Euros are worth nothing and can although buy enough food to live for a few days. In some countries the peoples are spending over 70% of their income just to buy food.

I do not think that these riots have anything to do with the desperate attempts of the US to remain the status of a superpower. The US will remain in this status in the mid terms, yes, but not from an economic view.

  • Kevin

Hell if they grabbed oil for the US it would have some benefit. We’re securing oil resources for world industrial / civilian use. We send troops to make sure oil gets to industrial facilities out of the US that have put and will continue to put Americans out of work.

Alternate energy has been a black hole. Who are “The rich” the same “Rich” that lost 50% in their investments? Is the Physician “rich”?
pose on this. Japan has a highly technical society that has no oil resources to call their own. How come Japan has not made the alternate energy breakthrough that you claim the oil companies / republican party are suppressing? The bottom line is oil still is a cheaper energy source.

  • Dave at collinda

“So is all of this craziness that we are seeing in 2011 just a big coincidence or is there a reason why all of this is happening?”

Neither coincidence or conspiracy to destroy the US, and by implication, the global economy. But the actions of the US and its allies do play an important role.

The authoritarian governments of the region called the “arc of instability” by Jimmy Carter’s National Security Advisor (and the basis for the “Carter Doctrine”) are, in large part, a result of US and British actions and on-going support. The people of Egypt, Yemen, Oman,Saudi Arabia and the rest know this. Libya is somewhat a unique case, but still, Qaddafi’s persistence in power is in no small part due to the actions and inactions of the west.

Those autocratic states are also, uniformly, corrupt. The corruption flows directly from the oil that flows. The people of those countries know that even better. That corruption is, as it is in this country, accompanied by a radically imbalanced distribution of wealth and opportunity. Those people for damn sure know that. Then there are the food prices. Some of those people understand that among the reasons for those prices is the instability in weather patterns that results from disruption of the global climate that is in turn a result of burning the oil from which they have not profited. Some also know that another part of the cause is found in the insane rush to convert arable land used for food production to that snake oil ethanol.

There is another cause rooted in the history of the region following the collapse of the Ottoman Empire at the end of WW I. Britain, France and the US sliced and diced the region, creating national entities that had no rationale that arose from the people, politics and customs of the newly-formed countries. There were a few exceptions – Egypt, most notably – but most, like Iraq or Libya, are a hodge-podge of tribes and ethnic groups with little historic love of one another. As history has demonstrated, those entities can only be held together by force and when the force is remove, chaos inevitably results.

There is a parallel to what we are now witnessing in the Middle East and North Africa; the summer of 1968 in the US. Deadly riots broke out all across the country in response to a single bullet. There were many reasons that the cities of the US were tinder boxes just waiting for a match that came it form of a racist assassin in Atlanta. But there was no organizing conspiracy, just the eruption of shared grievances among people of similar circumstance across the nation – circumstances imposed by greedy elites wielding near unfettered power over their lives.

I enjoy reading this blog every day, but I am afraid I am getting a bit of a warped perspective here. There is a lot of evidence to support hyper-inflation in the near future, but it has not happened yet. There was good job news yesterday, and we need to look at the good and bad to be balanced in our predictions. I have made all the preparations for a financial meltdown, e.g. purchasing guns, food, gold, silver, etc.

However, there is still hope, people, in the American spirit. I think there will be a financial crash along with huge inflation, but that we will make adjustments and America will go on. I think if we get too crazy with our predictions, we can get stupid and lose our sense of perspective and balance.

Change is scary but it is not the end of the world. We just try to plan for it the best we can. We can also find ways to positively influence the outcome for our own families, communities, and government.

Yes, MANY people anticipated that 2011 would be such a wild year! Gerald Celente, Marc Faber, Alex Jones, Lindsey Williams, Mike Maloney, Robert Kiyosaki, Jim Sinclair, Peter Schiff, Tony Robbins, the team at Money and Markets, several of the guests at King World News and many more.

Most of them are being painted as “doom and gloomers” or “gold bugs”. They don’t care. They just keep going…warning everyone who will listen. These guys have been right for years, and their predictions on the future of the U.S. economy are not good.

People hear the message, but they don’t do anything proactive to change the course of their future. Why? Fear…fear of the unknown, fear of making the wrong choice, fear of being and appearing abnormal, fear of losing what little they have, and fear that it is too late to make a difference…just plain fear. They are frozen like a deer in the headlights.

The economy won’t come to a screeching halt overnight. This crash has been designed (yes, this has all been planned) to slowly implode one miserable step at a time. At least that gives some people time to PREPARE…those who are willing to heed the warnings. Unfortunately, few are listening.

  • I believe the ultimate prize for the global elite is the fall of Iran, and to replace that current regime with their own. Governments around the middle east will topple, only to be replaced by CIA and MI6 backed stooges. See Egypt as a prime example. Out of the frying pan and into the fire.

The collapse of America as we know her is being orchestrated right now. This is not a Republican/Democrat thing. Both parties are owned by the same puppet masters. Their policies are exactly the same.

The smart thing to do is get prepared for the crash that is soon to come to America.

Well said!!! Yes, we were warned…and then we turned our backs on Him. Now we get to pay! Yes, I too am not afraid. In fact my spiritual side is cool as a cucumber and watching intently as Revelations unfolds before my eyes!!! My mortal side, however, is not so happy. I just want someone to put the breaks on all of this out of control crap. Our border isn’t secure, according to TSA, WE are the enemy, we have a Gov. trying to destroy our great land, rag-tag pirates holding us all hostage in the Indian Ocean, out of control food and oil prices that are only projected to get worse, and on and on it goes. The only recourse is to look Heaven-ward and wait. 🙂

This isn’t coincidence. We all know that the end goal of power hungry people to to create a “new world government.” As more nations see riots and revolutions, the more their governments will be weakened. As the UN begins to take control, the closer we are to globalism.

The weaker nations are destroying themselves while the stronger ones, a.k.a. the U.S.A., will be taken down financially by the monopolist bankers.

Once the dollar is destroyed and when every nation is issued a the same currency, it will become really easy to control everything.

$5.00 gas is already here in New York, I’m 30 minutes north of NYC in the burbs and premium gas is $5.08, regular $4.86. Public transportation is a joke at best so what choice do I have but to keep filling up, but it is a domino effect- filled up this week so no extra money for pizza and movies on Friday night, pizza store and rentals are out of my money…

At this point if we are going to get it over with let’s get it over with already!

    @Phrygian cap, aka Michael2:

Totally agree with you. Who needs a “stable” economy that forces people into homelessness by shipping all the good jobs to cheap labor hellholes like China or India? And there’s not much point in hoarding up Gold/Silver if you live in the U.S. The feds will seize it anyway, so all these “smarties” that buy Gold/Silver now are just hoarding up wealth for someone else at their expense.

Get your facts straight, people: Libya only accounts for a mere 2%—read, TWO PER CENT!—of the oil supply to the world at large…and Saudi Arabia is NOT America’s largest supplier of oil!

And just who is Uncle Sam’s biggest oil supplier..? Well, it’s—are ya sittin’ down…?—CANADA!

In fact, Saudi Arabia ranks as only the 3rd, or 4th biggest exporter of oil to the USA.

Now, as far as the dollar losing value on world markets fast, get ready for a runaway elevator if Obama’s generals want a new playground in Libya. Any such military adventurism therein will surely be financed by $$$ borrowed from China (that’s RED China, in case you’ve forgotten), which will only add to the already TRILLIONS of US greenbacks sitting in Peking vaults…

You want something to REALLY worry about besides some tin pot Arab dictator in a sea of sand…? How about the Reds suddenly deciding to have a “fire sale” on the US cash that they hold in reserve…can you just imagine it if they dumped their US bucks for fifty cents on the dollar…? Its value would plummet, along with the entire US economy, taking the whole USA woth it…

Believe me, people, there are far more important things to worry about than just Khadafi…

Let the Russians & Chinese “stabilize” the mid-East for a change—it’s their turn anyway, ’cause we’re broke!

Can someone please explain to me the 190+ point gain in the Dow today? Why is it that whenever there is bad news for the common man in the U.S. that the DJIA rises? Just when are these criminal elements on Wall Street going to lose like you and me?

  • This is a globalists/fascists take over of the middle east and then the entire planet. Muslim brotherhood was founded by Hassan Al banna in the 1920s was in contact with Hitler. Egypt Muslim Brotherhood will be part of the Egyptian gov. Government and corporation domination of the world = fascism. The Nazis are long gone , but the ideology is not. OIL sky high, dollar decline –> global currency introduced to public to save world economies, WWIII is a corporate dream,$$$$$ Libya and Algeria have incredible oil reserves –> Oil is power and oil is $$$$. The middle east has been exploited by UK, Germany, US for over a hundred years, why should they stop now.
Look for hard to find history books and you will find all the connections.

CLM I am not sure if you are aware, but BP got a fifteen year contract to pump a ridiculous amount of oil out of Iraq. This appears to me to have been the entire purpose of the exercise and will more than offset any slight losses incurred failing to clean up the Gulf of Mexico.

We wouldn’t need Middle East oil if we had been drilling for our own. With the abundance of oil we have there’s no way in hell we should be dependent on third world countries.

The environmental elitists have been responsible for hindering using our own vast supplies of energy! Perhaps the infantile president to save his own neck will finally be able to stop partying and golfing long enough to lift his stupid moratoriums. It will take years to gain some benefit but it beats doing absolutely NOTHING!

Secondly, there’s no way in hell I believe that all the Middle East chaos going on right now was orchestrated by people here in the USA. Have you taken the time to watch the riots and see people who are destitute all trying to get out of Libya by climbing into ONE bus? The US government had nothing to do with keeping the Middle East living like homeless, starving peasants. Their greedy, sadistic, inhuman leaders did this to them.

It happened all at once because after Egypt went down all the others were convinced they could do it too. The pathetic thing is that they will, in the end, probably not be any better off.

Finally, let me say that there are far too many anti-American people who post on this site. Their wordy rants don’t do much to add to the initial blog. In their mind, America is responsible for all the evils in the world. What seditious group do they belong to? The Communist Party of America?? Sure sounds like it to me. If you don’t like it here move somewhere else….may I suggest Russia, China or perhaps Iran. Talk there like you do there and you won’t last long.

I am however very much pro U.S. Constitution and old school Americans.

If you haven noticed the Anglo-American power is actually taking over the world, and cant seem to be stopped.

  • Attacks within wars, wars, earthquakes, sandpiles, forests and financial markets follow the power law distribution. There is a feedback loop that drives these system to automatically collapse without any help. This is called self-organized criticality.

Now imagine sand constantly falling on a sandpile. Also, imagine the sandpile starting to collapse because it has gotten too high, but you stop it from collapsing. What is going to happen to the stability of the sandpile as sand keeps falling?

Imagine a forest where you put out every fire – stop a collapse. What is going to happen to this forest eventually?

Suppressing collapses causes the system to become unstable and prone to larger collapses. Suppressing the 2008 collapse has made the entire world unstable. We are only at the beginning.

The Middle East is now headed for war because of unrest in the region. Only this won’t be just any war. The existence of Israel will be threatened.

Russia is actually ripe for a revolution. China is too. If war in the Middle East turns nuclear, then nuclear retaliation on America becomes possible by Russia and China.

  • No doubt we are going to hit very hard times in the next couple of years or even decades. However unless we face something that hits us fast & with no warning like multiple nuclear bombs or an EMP strike, that level of devastation is manageable. You must think tough to survive tough.

Well, perhaps we wouldn’t need Middle Eastern oil if we would just “drill, baby, drill” our own. But the environmental lobby is pretty powerful. If you even suggest more drilling in the Gulf of Mexico, Alaska, etc., you can be sure that someone from the Sierra Club, Greenpeace, Save the Shrimps, etc. is going to oppose it.

  • mondobeyondo

Libya = 2% of world consumption of oil.

So why are we concerned about a country which provides such a small amount of oil?

Why indeed? Is it strategic location? Modern refineries?

  • Warning to All Peoples of the World On Neurotech Oppression … dear readers, its is not just the economy or the physical wars, your very minds are under attack. Please note my findings on the below link

It’s less pleasant if what I posted is true (try dreaming poorly constructed rubbish biased towards creepy psychos spending their days playing with your brainscans than being honest enough to deal with the fact they just don’t match up – techno-fascist-nazis if anything – and grow up IRL, that edge and download don’t count at all, I dare any with the ‘copied dignity’ to erase their own and face the real person, can’t do it eh? Hence no dignity after all.) and a horrendous process to remove (everywhere cell towers, everywhere Wiifi or Satellites) given the large number of poor excuses we have for MPs.

    (1) Gaddahifi’s rant on Nestle and Milk and Mind Control

While certainly not the best example of democracy, Gaddafi might have given warning to all advanced democracies of the very same dangers against true liberty and freedom of mind. Psychoactive substances in prepacked beverages or even soft drinks which make cellphone tower based control possible. Nanosized(even smaller than nano-also) particles would be undetectable without proper equipment so now you know how ‘Morgellons’ assembles itself.

Nano crystal enabling signals in beverages (especially specialty coffees – no surprise the free Wiifi), become embedded in organs and brain, and when fully saturated, the person becomes controlled.

Pscyhoactive calcium/sodium etc.. could be added to milk as well. It could be that the recent uprisings (in conjunction with compromising information on with various articles released on mind control over the web) were intentional and potentially ‘Western’ related.

All citizens on related countries should be very cautious of any ‘pro-west’ policies that any law makers pass or outright occupations. Thanks to Gadaffi, we all now know what Nescafe and Milk, probably all other beverages or flour based products (biscuits/chocolates) or canned foods (those trace heavy metals particles in food and water are possible used by nanobots in manufacture of Morgellons type fibres, particulate plastic in food as well) does to people.

Libya could be the first truly psychoactive substance free and even implant free nation, I hope it survives and sets an example and warning to the rest of the world what our supposedly goodly UN guys are allowing to be put into our food (psychotropic nano-crystals of unknown frequency emission) and water (chlorine flourine).

Libya could be the true UN, for it’s simple ‘rant’. The truth would be worth EVERYTHING to so many thus enslaved. Any legislator worth their salt would try to write some new laws rather than attempt to profit off the torture of minds and stifle competition.

Fully expect the ‘Amerikkans’ to be complicit and intent on keeping such technological information ‘classified’, in a moment of true sincerity in a last action for truth (no last gadaffi, you truly deserve to live forever for those you intended to free) or perhaps merely fear? (still good, for truth will still liberate) Gadaffi has given us the way to TRUE mental autonomy and freedom.

    (3) Esoteric Science Theories/Postulations linking Satellite Field Manipulations

Please note the following map on site link below and understand that any nation on the Zero’latency declination lines (in green) will be susceptible to HAARP. Consider this against the Positive Latency (red lines) which are possibly discharge points :

Consider moving AWAY from the 0′ declination line to be freer from Satellite Neurotech? One never expected to have to migrate for freedom based on such facts. Any debunks or confirmations welcome. Watch ‘Streetfighter’, wtf is that synchronicity, or FACT??? VERY WEIRD . . . Is the last free place on Earth the South Americas? Or is that the place where our Alien overlords (aka God is so many civilisations we were seeded as) will appear to liberate us from the EMF pollution and all other pollution like smoke stacks and crude oil? World is a sick place needing quick solution. Run for candidacy in any case.

The recent Mid East chaos and the poor dry weather patterns of all areas under the (green Zero latency field line – suggesting weather control suppression probably via satellite) and that the former areas of where former ‘Atlantis’ and ‘Cthulu -ian’ civilisations are under the (blue latency field gaps).

More updates on findings later. Please participate in discussion if only just to debunk. I collate information but really wonder if we are already on a path to destruction . . .

First, I find it fascinating that the author of this blog (inadvertently or otherwise) invoked the very words of Jesus Christ Himself when He gave His disciples a picture of the what it would be like in the days just before His coming:

And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. Matt. 24:6

I do follow the blog and am fully aware that the USA is in its death throes as an economic superpower, and yet blogs like this one continue to incorrectly point to a primarily institutional failure as the cause of this crisis instead of the very heart of man, which is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked.

It is the heart of man that bore the “creature out of Jekyll Island” known as the (ahem) “federal” reserve. t is the heart of man that believes with enough food, gold and guns, one can emerge from this unfolding disaster unscathed.

Doesn’t anyone bother to read anymore? The government has always had the power to confiscate gold. You think they won’t exercise that power to established the “novos ordo seclorum”?

There is no hope in your wallet. There is no hope in your bank vault. There is no hope in your freeze-dried food. The end of the age is upon us, and once Jesus Christ comes for His church there will be a period of absolute terror such as never has been, nor will be. There will be lapses, of course, times of apparent calm, but they will be brief and they will be fleeting.

If you are looking to invest in anything, I urge you to invest your future in the person of Jesus Christ: God who became man, who lived the life you and i could never live and died a torturous death for our sins, so that He could rise again and give us new life in Him both in this world and the world to come.

You have been blessed to live at the end of history. Do not harden your hearts and look to more men to save you from this calamity. Only Christ alone can save.

“Come now, you rich, weep and howl for your miseries that are coming upon you! Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten. Your gold and silver are corroded, and their corrosion will be a witness against you and will eat your flesh like fire. You have heaped up treasure in the last days.” James 5:1-3

    Daniel 8:9,11 (New Century Version)

9 “Then a little horn grew from one of those four horns, and it became very big. It grew to the south, the east, … 11 That little horn set itself up as equal to God, the Commander of heaven’s armies.”

    Daniel 8:23-25 (New Century Version)

23 “When the end comes near for those kingdoms, a bold and cruel king who tells lies will come. This will happen when many people have turned against God.24 This king will be very powerful, but his power will not come from himself. He will cause terrible destruction and will be successful in everything he does. He will destroy powerful people and even God’s holy people.25 This king will succeed by using lies and force. He will think that he is very important. He will destroy many people without warning; he will try to fight even the Prince of princes! But that cruel king will be destroyed, and not by human power.”

I agree 100% with Ian: Jesus is our only hope. What you are now witnessing is the climactic battle in the long war between God and evildoers. Do not make the mistake of believing that the sides are equal or that the outcome is in doubt. Right now, Satan’s human agents are running the world and they intend to kill you and yours. These people are waiting for the word to proceed from Satan, the author of the greatest conspiracy against God that has ever been conceived or will ever be conceived. What Satan’s agents (Illuminati) do not understand is their leader is restrained by the power of God from issuing that command until God informs him that the hour has come.

To take down the economy, oil would be the way to go. Once gas prices go up people will be forced to pay higher prices. The trucks that take our food etc. to the grocery stores will pass the high costs unto us. This will have a domino affect. Less money for food, more jobs will be lost, more lay offs. People will get behind on their rent and mortgage, or even worse, they will loose their homes. I believe in all honestly that we are heading for a Depression! The New World Order will come soon too. Then a 1 world currency. Jesus said do not be troubled by all of these things, many things will take place before I come for you, rumors of wars, disease, earthquakes, etc. Put your trust in the Lord today, and he will save you from the Tribulations that are about to come to the earth.

Dick Eastman wrote: American’s do not realize the culture that has been stolen from them. Publishing, universities, entertainment (instead of plays movies and television to build a salutary culture) I would need a two hour film documentary to begin to tell people younger than 50 what I am talking about.l Cultural Saboteurs — Judeo-pornographic cultural sabotage has done its job. Dumb-down is not only in the sciences and in history and government — it is in the culture, the family, the way we sustain and encourage and prosper each other morally, spiritually and in character and courage — our ignorance of the way economic war is waged against us is not as profound as our ignorance of the sabotage of our ways of interacting as a healthy society.

Some of the comments are just ignorant uneducated and show laziness of mind. The earth only has so much oil! We have used up 50% or more. The earth will run out of oil! There will be no more to get out of the ground..following this! So, its not drill baby drill! Its change our dependence, change our way of living!!!
