This whole situation just leaves you stupefied, BP has failed in my opinion. They have no credibility left. What I find hard to believe is that a multinational cooperation like BP, with over a 100 years experience in the business, couldn't do more. Companies like BP really have gotten too much of our trust for too long. This is sad, so very sad. :( So many people have lost their livelihood because of this.

Here's something interesting. Last week I heard about a new cleaning product on the radio - a non-toxic biodegradable cleaner / degreaser, totally plant-derived, made from leafy green vegetables, edible seeds and seed-bearing plants, and includes amino acids, vitamins, and minerals. It's called Bio Green Clean. And I thought it might be something our company could use, since we do a lot of petroleum-based cleanup operations, oil spill response, etc. So I called the president of this company to get more information. And I decided to try it out on a few projects at work.

And while I had him on the phone, I thought I would ask whether they had offered to try their product on the Gulf of Mexico cleanup effort. Boy, did I get an earful. They had been in contact with both BP and the EPA. Corporate officers from BP headquarters in Houston had responded quite rudely to him and clearly had no interest in his product. They even left weird voice mails from phone lines that were disconnected minutes after making a call, so that he could not return the call. Pretty odd stuff.

He also spoke with the EPA, but was told that his product would have to undergo toxicity testing before it could be approved for use, which could take months. This was interesting for two reasons: 1) The product contains no toxins, no ammonia, no peroxides, no hydrocarbons, no dyes, perfume, bleach, or any other harsh chemical found in most cleaners; and 2) the EPA did not require testing on the poisonous dispersants that BP has been dumping in the Gulf, which is probably more harmful than the oil.

Now, of course, I'm no longer surprised by the fact that regulators have been in bed with the despoilers for a long time. What does surprise me is that neither of them seem interested in finding solutions to this disaster. Even if they don't care about the ecosystems that are being destroyed, they both are in need of some good p.r.

Also, I heard recently that 80% of our oxygen comes from the ocean. Don't know if that's true. I always thought most of it came from the rain forests. But either way, don't worry too much about saving the planet. After humans are gone the planet will be just fine.

I'm not sure which is the biggest disaster. Oilbama or the Gulf.

That 52% of our voters voted for a child of Indonesia with no resume and no leadership skills, a Muslim, still has me drooling and talking to myself. The next 2.5 years cannot get here fast enough for me. Suing Arizona and golfing every day.

Send us a hero. It's gonna take years to undo the crap and damage this guy is causing. If this is the product Harvard produces, I'll happily pass.

Last week, I contacted a detective at the local sheriff's office RE: some dope dealers behind my house. He said he'd come to my house, and call first, but did NEITHER. Have'nt heard a word since.

Arizona had to pass their controversial laws to attempt to dissuade the invasion of our homeland on the Mexican/American border, because, the Federal Government won't lift a finger.

Now, the 'OBAMA Administration' is such a joke, everyone just feels a sense of helplessness when America seeks help with the BP OIL SPILL.

What does it mean? It means, we, the people, must take the law into our own hands. There is no help any longer from the police (who joined in the looting in New Orleans), from Government (Colorado, California et. al. in bed with the drug dealers), etc. WE MUST NOW ENFORCE THE LAW, OURSELVES!

I am an American, and I can tell you that my countrymen are, on average, too simple-minded, too frightened and too shallow to grasp the logic in this piece. Our father's generation would have taken up arms against BP mercenaries in the gulf, but this generation is mentally and spiritually broken. Sorry to say it, but we all know it's true.
