What this boils down to is the fact that this has been in progress since the very early 1970s!!It is a plan to turn America into a Third World Nation! How do you boycot foreign made products? We don't hardly make anything anymore! We'd be naked and live in huts or caves! Golly, guess that's the plan!!!

@ Aquaponics USA
Laibow's Natural Solutions Foundation has run afoul of long established and universally recognized alternative health organizations such as the National Health Federation (NHF) and the International Advocates of Health Freedom (IAHF) which have committed decades of tireless advocacy in the name of open and free access to alternative health care. These organizations along with others such as the Dr. Rath Health Foundation have regularily monitored and participated in Codex Alimentarius commissions over the past decade. They have opposed and actively fought FDA systematic and illegal deconstruction of American citizen access to health care in the name of the FDA Trilateral Cooperation Charter and the North American Union in direct violation of US national sovereignty. These largely grassroots organizations have engaged in the laborious spade work of lobbying House and Senate committees such as the House Commerce committee to derail legislation attempting to harmonize US food, supplement and vitamin standards with Canadian and Mexican and thus International Pharmacuetical cartel demands. Enter Laibow and Stubblebine and the NSF. Through histrionic campaigns of disinformation and classic left cover redirect tactics they have attempted to distract the core constituencies of these groups into futile efforts against the notorious stonewalling bueauacracy of the FDA itself rather than the Congress itself, where the key elements of legislation were to be enacted. Confronted and exposed for these transparent diversionary tactics at the July 2006 Codex Commission in Geneva, Stubblebine attempted to coerce and Laibow,"white with rage", threatened representatives of the Dr. Rath Health Foundation. John Hammell, President of the IAHF has likewise condemned the NSF for meddling in an issue for which they have little apparent understanding, accusing Stubbelbine and Laibow of openly sabotaging efforts to prevent the implementation of the Codex in America as it is being ushered in on the back of the Central American Free Trade Act (CAFTA).

And what type of person is "one of them"? It's a pretty small type of person: One who likes a rigged game in their favor gained through bribery. One who couldn't care less if their employees are abused in the manner that Joe in JT described. One who doesn't care if his country falls apart and into chaos due to his actions, as long as he gets his. One who doesn't have what it takes to compete on an even playing field. A coward, a traitor, and a thoughtless prick are three good names to call "them" to start off with.

JL:

Those of us you call Socialist/Communist Idealogical believers are actually Free Market Capitalists who realize that if that market is not confined mainly inside the boundaries of our country that we will become a third world nation.

The fact is that our form of government now is Facism. Big Business has bought our government. What we have is Fixed Market Crony Capitalism which in the end will result in no economic opportunity for you, unless you are one of them. You probably are.

Personally, I can't wake anyone in my immediate family out of the bread circus. Nobody wants to listen to 'crazy ol toast' -I tell them the political parties are a farce, TV is lies and predictave programming, and we're stuck in a system that you can't vote away- under any circumstances- The people that give us the candidates are the ones that control the outcome and the rules. How can you vote that away? impossible-
(I still try to talk to them about it- I love those idiots)

We'd need to pull the root of the corruption, and get the whole system revamped.
Those that want the system to stay in place.... hop into the catapult- Cuba is nice this time of year. g'bye-

Tell the WTO to take a hike.... Is it impossible? Not really....

Then we wad that 'contract' up, and set it on fire. What is so hard about taking the hard stance against someone who's stated goal is YOUR DESTRUCTION? This is only self preservation, on a national level. We didn't need this **** destructive system to build this country the first time.... Why stay tangled up in it now that it's obviously a one way ticket to our demise?

(by the way, I don't condone the use of firearms unless your life depends upon it... if you haven't yet noticed....now it kinda does)

Alan Watt said a few days ago- We're like a cow on a farm...
The farmer has broken the cow's legs, and is now kicking it for laying around.
We get the blame for the economy-
(we get the blame for being unemployed and sucking off the welfare teet when nobody asked us if we wanted our industry shipped to china- AND we caught blame for the housing crash.... it was designed to lure in people and go belly up-) I didn't vote the industry out of the country-Did you?

Now we hear about population reduction.... I say.... go cordless bungee jumping if you want to reduce the population- Wish Granted! One less asshole!

For a full-on look at what is really going on, check out Alan Watt at cuttingthroughthematrix.com -
He'll fully wake you up, only if you let him.

(I'm not taking anything away from this site- there is a lot of good and useful info here- Please keep up the good work!)
Cheers!

I can't believe how many socialist/communist ideological believers that post to this blog.

As history tells it, none of these beliefs have ever even come close to working yet you people cling to the belief YOU can make it work.

FACTS are a sticky thing. YOUR IDEAS have never and will never work. Move onto to something that has worked and STFU. Thank you!

The author and all of the comments or most of them sound to me like we hae an awful lot of nuts out there who see themselves as experts in the extremely complicated world of world wide economics. Just maybe now is the time to leave such matters in the hands of experts and I do mean experts as for the last 60 years or so people have been learning more and more about how to prosper economically. The sad thing is Republicans realize that if Obama is successful they won't be in control for another fifty years and as that party really is more for the rich than Democrats they will do anything to stop him from being successful. Right now it appears as if they are quite successful and will have their way. Remember that unless people get so desperate that they do great harm to the country we will continue to vote in every two years. We can learn by the experience and before thinking it is the end of the world realize the wealthy want to make money and cutting taxes and giving big businesses all kinds of financial benefits will start the economy rolling again. The problem for the masses is that the process will require them to go through some very painful times. Having massive jo0bs and training programs would have done the same thing with a lot less tear and wear on those with less money Much less crime, suicides ,drug use, etc. but then when most U.S. senators are millionaires how can we expect them to have any insight to such social problems.

Tom, VegasBob and Lennie nailed it.

Sorry, teabag types, you are misguided. It's admirable that you recognize something is wrong and have mobilized, but your stubborn loyalty to the dog whistle issues of Republican party and your closeted hatred of black people (not all of you, but too many) have made your efforts counterproductive.

It's the rich vs. everybody else now. Not right vs. left, red vs. blue, black vs. white, Christian vs. non-Christian, none of that.

It's the rich. They want it all. And you're empowering them.

I'm not defending Obama. He's a tool of the corporations, too, though not as much as the last guy, or any Republican for that matter.

Please wake up and use your efforts for good. Because right now, you're part of the problem, not part of the solution.

May God save America. But I think it's probably too late.

MBabsit - You make some good points, but your Obama bashing and Talk Radio kudos are suspect. Do you think we'd be better off with McCain as our Prez and bubble-headed Barbi as Vice? McCain just showed he's completely lost his moral compass, and she's a loon. The Republican Party again and again trots out puppets for the uber-rich to manipulate -- Reagan, Bush II, now Palin. They tried with Quayle, but he was just too much the idiot.

I appreciate your points on finding an avocation to keep you busy and create a trade to fall back on, and the worthiness of using something until it's completely worn out.

But if you're only getting your info from Talk Radio, you're vision is skewed, and I can't trust you.

It's not right vs. left, or red vs. blue, or any of that. It's the rich vs. everybody else, and they're continually trying to distract you with all this other stuff. You're half falling for it.

Good luck. There are things about you I admire.

2.00$ and hour?! try 2$ a day, and that is if they are well paid! Before getting laid off my job as a cut and sew product designer, where I traveled to china frequently to review product being made in chinese factories, I asked my translator how much people made and a very well paid independent product inspector made 125$ a month, and average factory worker made 25 to 50$ a month and slept in barraks with a wooden board for a bed with 6 or more to a small room. It opened my eyes. Now Ive been unemployed for almost 2 years, and not only are companies not making new products for me to design, but Have you noticed that they are recycling old TV commercials? All the designers and graphic artisits I know are unemployed and have been for a year or more.
Today Obama(who I voted for) is saying R&D tax breaks? money to build roads and bridges? an army of designers and graphic artists are going to show up for those jobs and be turned down because besides being illequipped for thatkind of work, we dont have any applicable
experience which
I have heard more times than I care to repeat since Ive been job searching.
I think were in Big trouble.
How about tax breaks for us? or better yet, help me pay off my mortgage so I dont loose my house, oops I think its too late for that. Yup, I think were in Big Trouble.

Myths about the Deficit and Debt

The deficit imposes a net burden on future generations. This was a major theme of Ross Perot when he was running for the Presidency in 1992. There is some truth to this statement, but not much. This statement conjures up an image that the younger generation(s) has this huge tax bill hanging over their heads which must be paid off entirely. But countries never die (or at least they never plan on dying). Therefore, there is no reason why our children and their children's children cannot keep passing on the debt forever. In fact, so long as the economy continues to grow, future generations can continue to pass on ever-larger debts. Simarlarly, if I lived forever, I would never have to pay off my credit card debt entirely - just service the monthly interest payments.

Moreover, payers and recipients of the debt are both primarily U.S. citizens, so income is simply redistributed from one group to another. Suppose Ross Perot was elected President and decided to pay off the national debt once and for all over a period of say, 5 years. How would he do it? He would have to raise taxes and cut spending so that we ran significant surpluses (on the order of $1 trillion per year). The government would then take the funds directly from the tax payers and indirectly from the citizens who lose the benefits they used to receive from government services, and pay off the bond holders. Does the money leave the country? No. It is simply transferred from all tax payers to the bond holders. In fact, many bond holders may find that the value of their bonds were offset by the higher taxes and/or lower level of government services.

There is one case where the net burden argment may hold some weight. Right now, about 15% of US debt is held by foreign investors. To the extent that future generations must pay off this debt, and the income leaves the country, future generations are burdened with the current generation's run-up in debt. Fortunately for the US, the foreign-owned portion of the debt is still fairly small.

The national debt will bankrupt the nation. Huge debts have bankrupted some nations, but we are far from that scenario. The main difference is that most of our debt is internally owned. Also, the government never has to pay the entire debt off at one time since the government never "dies." Furthermore, the government has an enormous power to raise revenue via taxation.

You people see the results of "leveling the playing field," "spread the wealth," and other crap. Vote for Obama? Embarrassed yet? Like your depression (double dip my foot, the country never came out of the hole in the first place)?

We COULD buy American. Look at the labels, if it's not from here, pass it up. Pass up stores that sell foreign garbage. Most of all, patronize LOCAL businesses. Buy from the Internet only if that item you want can't be found locally, or if they won't/can't order for you.

Be more self-sufficient. During WW II they had a jingle: Use it up, wear it out. Make it do or do without. I recycle the heck out of stuff. Plastic shopping bags become mini garbage bags. Those without holes are great for scooping kitty litter into. Plastic margarine tubs are great for leftovers, glass jars for hardware storage. The latter is also good for making emergency candles. Learn gardening and canning.

Get a hobby, or better yet, several. Some of your hobbies should be those whose skills you can fall back on when things get worse. It's okay to have a hobby like scrapbooking or model railroading, but you should also have something that could be a trade when things get worse. Leatherworking, car repair, gun smithing are some. Tandy Leather has an online book on making sandals. Also, there is on the Internet itself, in PDF format, a really old book on making shoes. (I've got that one downloaded and printed, and I'm not sorry about it. Why patronize Nike when I can make my own?) Take up hunting and/or fishing if you are a carnivore or love fish. A hobby is far and away better ENTERTAINMENT than a television could be. Besides, a hobby makes you think. Television doesn't.

Get rid of television, specifically inane television programs and propaganda masquerading as "news." It's easy for me because I live in the country, I'm too far away for Internet cable. I watch only movies and classic television DVDs. News? There IS talk radio. Radio is more immediate than television, and has less propaganda. World news and business news I can get from dozens of sites on the Internet.

Now is the perfect time to own a home, preferably in the country. Plenty of land to start a large garden (not like in the cities). Also, according to several economists (Gerald Celente and others), the cities could soon get ugly, especially with massive Obama tax hikes 1/1/11, and as the numbers of unemployed/underemployed continue to increase. Where do you run to if you are forced to flee? People in the country are generally nice, but in times of civil strife, pull into someone's property, and all you'll get is a load of buckshot.

Perhaps the worst and possibly most devastating effect of the WTO is the creation of Codex Alimentarius. This strange name uses two root words, Code and Alimentary (as in alimentary canal=digestive system). So this is a Code to control what we eat.

Codex, as it's referred to in brief, was started in 1962 by the UN. It was created as a trade Commission to control the international trade of food. But like everything else, including our own FDA, in our 21st Century world, it has been completely taken over by multi-national corporations including the pharmaceutical, pesticide, biotech and chemical industries.

These are the folks deciding what's good for us and writing draconian regulations to make sure we get plenty of what they're serving--plenty of pesticides, GMO's and chemicals so then we'll all need plenty more pharmaceuticals.

If you haven't heard of Codex, please get informed. It's big, it's bad and it's in our face in the US right now. In 2011, Europe will be losing it's ability to get most of the supplements we take for granted because of these draconian regulations. The US is next on their list. Dr. Rima Laibow of HealthFreedomUSA is out there in the trenches fighting tooth and nail against Codex.

Go to our site www.aquaponicsusa.com and click on "The Big Picture" page, which will give you the scoop (via YouTube) on what just happened at the last Codex Meeting this summer. We really have to start paying attention. It isn't just the air we breathe out (CO2) that's being attacked--it's the Food we take in.

RE: the education
If this could be any relief to you the education of 2010 is 'dumbed down' not only in America - it is so worldwide. In the good old days there were some people calculating mentally 15 digit numbers - today the students could hardly calculate 0+1 without a computer or calculator.

RE: the WTO
Usually the countries of the third world are complaining about unfair trade, but USA ...
Actually poor is our fantasy and weak is our imagination to depict what will happen with the World Trade if organisations like Lemon Bros., Bear Stearns & Sir Goldman take in charge of the world trade.

Reminds me of this movie dialogue from "Wall Street" ...Just minor alteration to capture the essence..

Greed is right, greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge has marked the upward surge of golden parachute lover.

We will never be free again and secure until the Federal Reserve and the Wall Street gangsters are out of business. Remember is was labor unions who fought to get Clinton elected, we personally is responsible for much of the deregulation, the NAFTA sucking sound. Wake up America both parties work for the same boss. End the Fed and pull you head out. Banks should borrow from Government not the other way around.
Its probably too late to stop the NWO order, The same player will run that too.

Tom:

What you said is one of the truest things I've seen posted here. Only when the cheap goods disappear from the shelves will the ones who disagreed with you have a Bridge Over the River Quai moment, if at all.

Did the Colonel who fell on the plunger device that set off the explosives on the bridge die or not? I don't remember.

The Tea Party was immediately attacked by the Republican party. Who could think it would not be? Republicans are more responsible for globalization, Democrats are more responsible for growth of government and anti business conditions, but both are doing the jobs they have been assigned by the ones who control both parties: he who has the gold. Hence, one party. The assigned job? - destroy the United States because of a hatred for the principles found in our Founding Documents. A hatred for OTHERS to have those rights that is. They want those rights for themselves only and even more rights - an infinite number of rights. They want a world wide customer base and complete world control.

They are so few in number, but with their power of money control, there are so many who will sell themselves.

And we all just sit around watching it happen. With no physical action to stop it, it will continue until the end, which is just about here now.

You arrive home from work and a bunch of thieves are in the process of hauling your stuff out of your front door, and you ask them: "please stop". But with no preventative action on your part, they quickly recognize there will be none, laugh at you, push you aside, and continue on. You can wave bye bye to them as they drive off and then go sit on your bare floor, suck your thumb, and have a good cry. At least your t.v. will be gone.

But with no preventative action on your part, they quickly recognize there will be none, laugh at you, push you aside, and continue on. You can wave bye bye to them as they drive off and then go sit on your bare floor, suck your thumb, and have a good cry. At least your t.v. will be gone.

There is virtually no limit to outsourcing. It's happened for decades in manufacturing and professional level jobs like computer programming. It's becoming more and more prevalent to outsource design work in all of the engineering disciplines as well. There's no limit to what can be outsourced. Even medical jobs can be outsourced and some have (Radiology). All it takes is a little technological innovation.

When every job is outsourced in America who will have money to buy anything? The few at the top of U.S. companies who outsourced the U.S. will soon learn that they can't make any more money, because people have no money.

It's time to stand up. You only have two choices if you want to survive. 1. Boycott foreign made products. 2. Move to another country like China. It's time for the American worker to revolt again.

It is absolutely possible to live on $50,000 a year for a family of four!! We are a family of 4 living on about HALF that amount! I stay home with the kids too! We bought a reasonably priced home, have 2 decent vehicles with no payments, no credit card debt, no student loans, no cable tv (who has time for that with kids to care for?.) We grow alot of food in our garden and can/freeze it to help cut grocery costs. I breastfeed and use cloth diapers. I buy 95% of the kids clothing second-hand (good stuff too!)We even have to pay for our own health insurance that goes up every year. I do everything I possibly can to make things myself from scratch. It takes alot of work, but we are doing it and we don't feel like we are living without. We are even able to save money and pay cash for large items (furniture, appliances, vehicles, etc.) We ARE lucky to not live in the city and have the extra expenses they have. Although city folks can do alot of the things we do!

"This isn't capitalism that we have in America in 2010."

I strongly disagree with this sentence.

This IS capitalism, this is exactly what capitalism has always been about, only a bit more visible now (or say more visible in the US) than in some previous times and places.

What we are experiencing today is extreme, globalized capitalim, but it IS capitalism, there is no denying it.

I read over the major news websites a couple times daily. Sites like MSNBC.com always post a report about "housing numbers down -x% year over year". In the next few days they will publish a news story that says something about housing numbers are up, economy going up. I think the media is seriously f*cking with us and manipulating us. The media is purposely trying to scare us to think it is really bad out there.

I haven't had cable TV in 7 years, after price increase every single year and very little new channels, I cancelled. If I do get the opportunity to watch TV it is 4 channels. Nevermind the fact that some people are paying a cable company $100 a month to spend 30% of the hour watching commercials?? Seriously?! Who gives a sh*t about watching reality TV shows anyway. If i want some drama i can just go to the office next door at my job and ask what is going on there, instead of paying to see it on TV.

For those of you that read this and are living paycheck to paycheck. It will only get worse unless you act. Get rid of your smart phone and pricey voice/data plans. Cancel cable and get cable internet instead so you can watch TV shows for free. Get netflix to watch movies/shows for cheap. Designer clothes?! new cars?! forget about it, you don't need those. A car's purpose is to get from Home-->Work-->Grocery Store-->Friends House-->Home again. That is all. You don't need all that extra stuff that you get sold in a new car.

China is making cheap products to sell into the US and bringing a lot of inland people out of poverty. If only the american dollar corrects to its true value considering the huge debt burden, the flow of products would be the otherway with banks financing Chinese consumption. America is the innovation capital of the world, and is bringing out so many countries out of poverty. I'm sure the leadership can find another way!!
