All of a sudden, sending European ground troops into Ukraine has become a very hot topic.  In fact, the British are openly discussing the possibility of doing this quite soon.  Of course the Russians have already warned that if the British send ground troops into Ukraine, military targets inside the UK will become legitimate targets.  Needless to say, the moment the Russians start conducting military strikes inside the UK, the U.S. would be forced to intervene and we would be right on the brink of nuclear war.

The British must not do this.

But they are so determined to demonstrate which side that they support in the feud between President Trump and “President Z” that they might do it anyway.

Global events are moving so rapidly that it is really difficult to keep up with everything that is happening.  Early on Wednesday, “President Z” accused President Trump of living in a “disinformation space” during a discussion with reporters…

“Unfortunately, President Trump, I have great respect for him as a leader of a nation that we have great respect for, the American people who always support us, unfortunately lives in this disinformation space,” Zelensky told reporters early Wednesday.

“President Z” went on to explain why Trump is supposedly wrong about a number of things.

Did he not understand how Trump would react?

If you want to get Trump on your side, you don’t say bad things about Trump.

Anyone that has been paying any attention for the past eight years should know this by now.

President Trump responded by absolutely shredding “President Z” on Truth Social…

Think of it, a modestly successful comedian, Volodymyr Zelenskyy, talked the United States of America into spending $350 Billion Dollars, to go into a War that couldn’t be won, that never had to start, but a War that he, without the U.S. and “TRUMP,” will never be able to settle. The United States has spent $200 Billion Dollars more than Europe, and Europe’s money is guaranteed, while the United States will get nothing back. Why didn’t Sleepy Joe Biden demand Equalization, in that this War is far more important to Europe than it is to us — We have a big, beautiful Ocean as separation. On top of this, Zelenskyy admits that half of the money we sent him is “MISSING.” He refuses to have Elections, is very low in Ukrainian Polls, and the only thing he was good at was playing Biden “like a fiddle.” A Dictator without Elections, Zelenskyy better move fast or he is not going to have a Country left. In the meantime, we are successfully negotiating an end to the War with Russia, something all admit only “TRUMP,” and the Trump Administration, can do. Biden never tried, Europe has failed to bring Peace, and Zelenskyy probably wants to keep the “gravy train” going. I love Ukraine, but Zelenskyy has done a terrible job, his Country is shattered, and MILLIONS have unnecessarily died – And so it continues…..

This single social media post immediately caused a firestorm of controversy to erupt all over the globe.

And I don’t think that the damage that has been done will be easily repaired.

“President Z” can forget about having President Trump in his corner from this point forward.  Vice-President Vance just told the press that President Z has chosen “an atrocious way to deal with this administration”…

‘The idea that Zelensky is going to change the president’s mind by badmouthing him in public media … everyone who knows the president will tell you that is an atrocious way to deal with this administration,’ said Vance during an exclusive interview in his West Wing office.

And many of President Trump’s most ardent supporters on social media are gleefully pointing out some of the ways that “President Z” has abused human rights over the past several years.  For example, the following was posted by the DC_Draino account on Twitter…

He’s in year 6 of his 5 year term

Declared martial law Feb 2022 and has banned elections since then

Banned 11 political parties

Passed law in 2022 to censor journalists and combined all news into 1 gov’t station

Journalists investigating his corruption get conscripted and thrown on the front lines to die

Even Saddam Hussein held elections!

On the other side, the corporate media in the United States has responded extremely negatively to Trump’s call for an election in Ukraine because they are concerned that “President Z” could be voted out of office…

Much more alarming is how the Europeans are responding to Trump’s comments.

I think that the British government hates Trump so much that they might be willing to deploy ground troops to Ukraine just to spite him.

And the British media is eagerly rallying public support for such a move.  For example, the following comes from a BBC article that was just published entitled “British Army ‘absolutely ready’ if ordered to deploy to Ukraine”…

The British Army has said it is ready to deploy to Ukraine if requested by the government.

This week, 2,500 UK troops from the Army’s high readiness force, the First Division, have been taking part in a large Nato exercise in Romania – on a training area just 16 miles (25km) from the border with Ukraine.

Although mobile phones have been banned on the exercise, most soldiers are aware that there are now initial discussions to send troops to Ukraine itself.

Wow.

And NATO’s former Deputy Supreme Allied Commander just wrote an article for the Daily Mail in which he boldly declared that it was time for the UK to “make plans for conscription” because “Trump has left us no other choice”…

NATO’s former Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe, Sir Richard Shirreff, writing in the Daily Mail, said: “Though many will find it unthinkable, we must be prepared to call up our reservists – and make plans for conscription. Trump has left us no other choice.”

I am speechless.

So because Trump wants peace, the British have to hurry up and escalate the war so that peace won’t be possible?

What kind of madness is this?

What do you think will happen if British troops really do get deployed to Ukraine?

It won’t be pretty, I can tell you that.

In addition to hitting British military targets inside Ukraine, the Russians have already said that they will hit British military targets outside Ukraine.

And then there will be full-blown war between Russia and a member of NATO.

At that point it would be impossible for the U.S. to stay out of the conflict and we would literally be on the verge of nuclear war.

But at this point the British are desperate, because they are absolutely determined to keep the Ukrainians from losing.  The Russians have conquered quite a bit more territory within the past ten days, and unless western troops intervene Ukraine’s front lines will continue to crumble…

While the eyes of the world are glued on the US-Russia Peace Process led by Donald J. Trump and Vladimir Putin, the war follows unabated with the same prospects as before: Russian Federation forces steamrolling the Ukrainian defenders.

In the last 10 days, a cursory search shows that Russia has conquered the settlements of Orekhovo-Vasilevka, Dachnoye, Dzerzhinsk, Yasenovoye, Vodyanoye Vtoroye, Zelenoye Pole, Berezovka, Figolevka, Yampolovka and Sverdlikovo.

Everyone just needs to calm down.

But every time “President Z” badmouths our president, Trump is going to hit back even harder.

And that will just give the Europeans more motivation to consider sending in ground forces.

Of course that is exactly what “President Z” has been wanting all this time.  He has been searching for a way to get European troops to intervene.  So if he realizes that badmouthing Trump will help him achieve that goal, he may just throw all restraint to the wind and really start going for it.

In any event, we are now much closer to nuclear war, and that is certainly not good news for any of us.

More than 18 million students are enrolled at over 5,800 colleges and universities in the United States.  On average, it costs more than $100,000 to attend a college or a university in the U.S. for four years.  It has been estimated that a college eduction is now over 400 percent more expensive than it was 40 years ago.  But even though our institutions of higher learning are sucking so much money out of our young people, it never seems to be enough, and so they are constantly begging for more money from the federal government.  If you can believe it, the U.S. government has been providing more than 170 billion dollars a year to postsecondary education programs.  Much of this funding comes in the form of research grants, student aid, and government contracts.  But what are we getting for all of this money?  The truth is that we are getting an entire generation that has had their heads filled with leftist propaganda.

We tell our kids over and over again that a “higher education” is the key to getting a good job and living the American Dream.  They have been told not to worry about how much it costs and that there is plenty of financial aid (mostly made up of loans) available.  Now our economy is facing the biggest student loan debt bubble in the history of the world, and when our new college graduates enter the “real world” they are finding out that the good jobs they were promised are very few and far between.

The system relies on the fact that most of us are going to believe that a college education is the key to a good future and that there is plenty of “financial aid” out there for everyone that wants to go to college.

Unfortunately, high school students are never told that not even bankruptcy can get you out of student loan debt.  It will stay with you forever until you finally pay it off.

Today, each new crop of optimistic college graduates quickly discovers that there are simply not nearly enough jobs for all of them.  Thousands upon thousands of them end up waiting tables or stocking the shelves at retail stores.  Many of them end up deeply bitter as they find themselves barely able to survive and yet saddled with tens of thousands of dollars in student loan debt that nobody ever warned them about.

Sadly, the quality of the education that most of these college students is receiving is a complete and total joke.

Take it from someone that has graduated from a couple of very highly respected institutions.  I have an undergraduate degree, a law degree and another degree on top of that, so I know what I am talking about.  Higher education in America has become so dumbed-down that the family dog could literally pass most college courses.

It is an absolute joke.  The vast majority of college students in America spend two to four hours a day in the classroom and maybe an hour or two outside the classroom studying.  The remainder of the time, these “students” are out drinking beer, partying, chasing after sex partners, going to sporting events, playing video games, hanging out with friends, chatting on Facebook or getting into trouble.  It has been said that college is the most fun that most people will ever have in their entire lives, and that is no exaggeration.  It is basically one huge party.

Of the little “education” that actually does go on, much of it is so saturated with leftist propaganda that it makes the whole process virtually worthless.  Most parents would be absolutely shocked if they could actually see the kind of indoctrination that goes on inside U.S. college classrooms today.

A college education can be worth it for those in fields that are highly technical or highly specialized, but for nearly everyone else it is just one giant money-making scam.

Oh, but you parents please keep breaking your backs to put money into the college funds of your children so that they can be spoon-fed leftist propaganda all day and party like wild animals all night for four years.

It really is a huge scam.  I was there.  I saw it with my own eyes.

But if you will not believe me, perhaps you will believe some cold, hard statistics.  The following are 14 shocking facts about the student loan debt bubble and the great college education scam…

#1 One out of every four Americans under the age of 40 has outstanding student loan debt.

#2 Americans now owe 1.773 trillion dollars on their student loans, which is more than the total amount that Americans owe on their credit cards.

#3 The average federal student loan debt balance has now risen to $38,375.

#4 4.86 percent of all federal student loan dollars were in default as of the fourth quarter of 2024.

#5 A typical high school student spends about 30 hours in the classroom each week, but a typical college student spends between 12 and 16 hours in the classroom each week.

#6 One study found that 35 percent of U.S. college students spend 5 hours or less studying outside of the classroom each week.

#7 That same study found that 50 percent of U.S. college students have never taken a class that required them to write more than 20 pages, and 32 percent of U.S. college students have never taken a class that required them to read more than 40 pages in a week.

#8 Only 49 percent of full-time college students receive a bachelor’s degree within four years.

#9 In May 2024, the unemployment rate for bachelor’s degree recipients between the ages of 20 to 29 was over 12 percent.

#10 The median starting salary for a college graduate is approximately $52,000 a year.

#11 The average starting salary for an electrician is approximately $54,000 a year.

#12 Today, a whopping 42.7 million Americans have outstanding student loan debt.

#13 Just 29 percent of all young college graduates in the U.S. that have outstanding student loans say that they are living comfortably.

#14 Nearly a third of all college graduates end up moving back home with their parents once their educations have been completed.

What in the world has happened to our system of higher education?

At this stage, it is a complete and utter disaster.

Much of the “real learning” that is taking place on college campuses actually occurs in graduate programs.

Sadly, many of these graduate programs are now dominated by foreigners.

In fact, it has been estimated that about half of all the graduate science students enrolled at colleges and universities in the United States are now foreigners.

Something is very, very wrong.

But should we be surprised that the quality of education at our colleges and universities has gone down so much when the quality of education at every level leading up to college has also been declining?

In some areas of the country, large numbers of students that can barely read are being allowed to graduate from high school.

A population that does not read is much easier for the elite to control.  According to a survey that was conducted in 2023, 46 percent of Americans had not even read a single book within the past year.

Our society spends more on education than any other society in the history of the world has.

But our population is certainly not getting any smarter.

Our system of higher education is all about making as much money as possible, and countless lives are being wrecked in the process.

The more dependent you are, the less free you are.  A couple of weeks ago, I wrote an article about how our system is designed to beat us down and make us weak and dependent, because when we are weak and dependent we are easier to control.  Most of us don’t even realize why the majority of the population is so sick, exhausted, depressed and confused much of the time.  Our bodies, our minds and our spirits are constantly being poisoned by the system, and those that are in control of the system know exactly what they are doing.  If you do not choose to break free, you could end up under the oppression of their system for your entire life.

Of course for many people inertia seems like the easiest option.  It is just so easy to keep doing what you have always done, and that is especially true once you get older.

But what are you going to do once the system that you have become so dependent upon starts to crumble all around you?

Over the past several years, our world has been getting increasingly unstable.  Major wars have erupted, the cost of living has become very painful, pestilences have been raging all over the globe, and historic natural disasters have been hitting us one after another.

The chaos that we are experiencing now is just going to intensify in the months ahead.

So what will most people do when the system that they depend on for their survival is shaken to the core?

The following are 12 simple things that you can start doing right now to become more independent of the system…

#1 Become Less Dependent On Your Job

For most people, having a job essentially means living in a state of “just over broke”.  The truth is that it is incredibly difficult to become financially independent working for someone else.  Of course most Americans would not be able to survive without a job, but you don’t want to settle for just surviving.  I know that it can be exceedingly difficult to find the energy for a “side hustle” while you are working a full-time job, but a “side hustle” can eventually evolve into a full-time income.  If you want to live free, it is so important to explore alternate sources of income and different ways to build wealth.  And the truth is that any jobs we have now could easily disappear when economic conditions take a turn for the worse.  But if you have put in the effort to build up a “side hustle”, at least you will still have that.

#2 Get Out Of Debt

The borrower is the servant of the lender.  If you want to live free, get out of debt.  No matter how far you try to run, your debts are going to continue to hang over you wherever you go.  Getting out of debt can be completely and totally liberating.  It will give you much more freedom and will make you far less dependent on your job.  In fact, many Americans are already moving in this direction.  Why not join them?  When things start really falling apart and it is difficult for anyone to find a good job, the last thing you will want is a huge amount of debt hanging over your head.

#3 Reduce Expenses

For decades, most Americans have been living far beyond their means.  In the future, times are going to be really tough and we are all going to have to learn to tighten our belts.  Do you and your family waste money right now?  If you can eliminate that, you can live on a smaller income and you will have more money to invest in the things that are really going to matter.

#4 Purchase Land

Real estate is a lot more expensive than it once was, but the truth is that you don’t want to wait forever to get your hands on a piece of land.  When the system completely crumbles, you don’t want to be stuck in a heavily populated area with no place to go.  You always want to have somewhere that you can “bug out” to if things hit the fan.  In addition, owning real estate is a great way to build wealth.  In some of the most desirable areas of the country that are not heavily populated, real estate prices have doubled or even tripled in recent years.

#5 Learn To Grow Your Own Food

Another reason why you want to purchase some land is so that you will have somewhere to grow your own food if that becomes necessary.  100 years ago, almost everyone knew how to grow their own food, and most people also knew how to raise farm animals.  Today, relatively few Americans have those skills.  A great way to begin is by starting your own “survival garden”.  If you are not already doing this, why not start this upcoming spring?

#6 Find A Reliable Source Of Clean Water

Do you know what they are putting into your water?  In many parts of the country, tap water is absolutely teeming with all sorts of nasty stuff.  Drinking pure water is an easy change that anyone can make, and it can have a dramatic impact on your health.  In addition, water is going to become a very, very valuable resource in the years to come.  It will be absolutely key for you and your family to have a dependable source of clean drinking water.  If you do not have water, you will not be able to survive for long.

#7 Explore Alternative Energy Sources

Have you noticed that your power bill just keeps going up?  In some states, people are being hit with power bills that exceed $1,000 a month.  Of course you may not be able to depend upon the power company at all once things get bad enough.  The truth is that there are very good reasons why so many Americans have been trying to go “off the grid”.  Without power, life gets really difficult very quickly.  But if you are generating your own power then you won’t have to worry about that.

#8 Store Supplies

Every time there is a major disaster or emergency, store shelves get empty really fast.  If an extended national emergency results in supply chains being disrupted on a long-term basis, you may have to get by on what you already have in your home.  So do you and your family have enough food and supplies to survive for an extended period of time?  If you don’t know where to start, there are guides that can help get you started.  In America today, there are millions of “preppers”, and the “prepping” industry has been thriving.  But of course most of the population just assumes that they will always be able to depend upon the system for what they need, and someday those people will be in for a very rude awakening.

#9 Protect Your Assets With Gold And Silver

Our leaders have been flooding the system with money for many years, and so it was only a matter of time before we experienced rampant inflation.  The cost of living has been absolutely soaring, and that isn’t going to change any time soon.  One way to protect yourself is by getting some gold and silver.  In the future, your paper money may not buy much for you at all, but if you have some gold and silver coins you can always exchange them for the things that you are going to need.

#10 Learn Self-Defense

Do you remember the riots that happened all over the country just a few years ago?  Well, the truth is that what we will see in the future will be far worse than that.  When people get desperate enough, they will literally do just about anything to survive.  Just think about it.  What do you think is going to happen once people living in densely-populated areas have been without food for two or three days?  Now is the time to think about how you will defend your home and your property from crazed looters.  It is not a fun thing to think about, but unfortunately we are heading into times that will not always be pretty.

#11 Keep Yourself In Good Physical Condition

As Americans, we live such “cushy” lives.  But when times get hard, things will not be so cushy.  In fact, the years ahead are likely to demand quite a bit of physical activity.  So keep yourself in good physical condition now.  In the future, you will be quite glad that you did.

#12 Make Deep Connections

It is really, really hard to “survive” all by yourself.  Those that will thrive the most in the future will be those that have a community that they can depend upon.  The truth is that we are always at our best when we work together.  It is time to build deep connections with family and friends, it is time to make new connections, and it is time to focus on what is truly important.  In the times ahead the world will be a very cold place, and a little love and teamwork will go a long way.

We just received some very serious news.  The extremely deadly D1.1 strain of the H5N1 bird flu which has been ripping through the nation’s poultry population in recent weeks has now gotten into the cattle population in the state of Nevada.  This is the very first time that cattle in the U.S. have ever tested positive for this strain.  What this means is that we are facing a very serious threat to our food supply.  As I detailed earlier this week, the U.S. is dealing with the worst egg shortage that it has ever experienced, and it is likely to get even worse as this new strain spreads.  Meanwhile, the size of the U.S. cattle herd could be reduced even further by this new strain, and it is already at the lowest level that we have seen since 1961…

As of January, the total number of cattle and calves was 86.7 million, down by 1% from last year, reported Market Intel. The beef herd has shrunk 40% since 1975 to the smallest size since 1961.

Beef cows that have calved hit a record low at 27.9 million, revealed the U.S. Department of Agriculture, while replacement heifers also decreased, indicating continued contraction in the cattle cycle.

In 1961, 182 million people were living in the United States.

Today, 334 million people live in the United States.

So now we have the same amount of beef that we did in 1961, but we have nearly twice as many people to feed.

Needless to say, the price of beef is going to go higher as supplies of beef just keep getting tighter and tighter.

I don’t know why the mainstream media is not making a bigger deal about this.  I know that they are absolutely fixated on the drama that is unfolding in Washington D.C. right now, but this new strain of the H5N1 bird flu is an extremely huge story…

Six dairy herds in Nevada have tested positive for a newer variant of the H5N1 bird flu virus that’s been associated with severe infections in humans, according to the Nevada Department of Agriculture.

Scientists say these infections with a different type of virus mark an inflection point in the nation’s efforts to contain the virus: It may be here to stay.

The strain is not the same one that has been circulating in other dairy herds throughout the United States, a virus called B3.13. The newer version, D1.1, has previously been detected only in birds and in people who had contact with infected birds.

This is the very first time that D1.1 has been detected in any of our dairy herds.

Up until just recently, the milder B3.13 strain of H5N1 was the dominant strain in birds all over the nation.

But over the past few months there has been a dramatic change.  The D1.1 strain has become dominant, and it has been ripping through bird populations from coast to coast…

That bird flu strain, called D1.1 by scientists, was also linked to a fatal human case in Louisiana last year after exposure to sick birds. The D1.1 strain has emerged in recent months to dominate infections in wild birds and poultry flocks across North America.

Since the pandemic began in early 2022, “around 957 dairy herds and more than 153 million poultry have been affected” by the bird flu…

According to the CDC, around 957 dairy herds and more than 153 million poultry have been affected by types of bird flu in the United States.

The devastation that this pandemic has caused has been immense, but nearly all of the carnage that we have witnessed so far has been caused by the relatively mild B3.13 strain.

Now the D1.1 strain is spreading like wildfire, and this has pushed egg prices to dizzying heights…

Egg prices continue to move higher due to limited inventory due to an avian flu outbreak.

The volume of trailer load loose egg sales decreased 16% at the end of January.

Prices for white large shell eggs hit $8.97 per dozen.

Delivered prices on the California-compliant wholesale loose egg market increased $0.37 to $8.72 per dozen in the last week of January, according to the Department of Agriculture.

Of course there are many supermarkets where the shelves are completely empty and there are no eggs to be purchased at any price.

Unsurprisingly, eggs have now become a target for thieves because they have become so valuable.

In fact, someone just stole 100,000 eggs from a trailer in Pennsylvania, and police have still not been able to determine who did it…

Four days after the theft that law enforcement say could be tied to the sky-high cost of eggs, no leads have come in, Trooper First Class Megan Frazer, a spokesperson for the Pennsylvania State Police, said Wednesday.

There is something else that I would like for you to consider.

What is going to happen if the new D1.1 strain of the bird flu starts spreading widely among humans?

Already, it has killed a 65-year-old victim in Louisiana, and it almost killed a 13-year-old girl in Canada…

In November, an otherwise healthy 13-year-old girl from British Columbia, Canada, was infected with D1.1 bird flu from an unknown source.

She had not been exposed to any birds or cattle, and her only risk factor was obesity.

She went into respiratory failure and had to be placed on life support, though she eventually recovered.

And a 65-year-old patient in Louisiana died last month after being hospitalized with severe respiratory symptoms from D1.1.

The B3.13 strain only caused mild illness in humans.

But the D1.1 strain is a killer.

One expert is warning that if this strain “were to mutate and gain the ability to efficiently spread from person to person”, we could be facing a new “global pandemic”…

Professor Bobbi Pritt of the Mayo Clinic issued similar warnings to the Daily Express US last month.

“If the virus were to mutate and gain the ability to efficiently spread from person to person, then this could result in a large outbreak or even a global pandemic,” she said.

I realize that this is not welcome news for many of you.

But the truth is that we were warned that pestilences would be one of the major themes of this period.

It has been less than a month since President Trump was inaugurated, and now it appears that he will have a major health scare to contend with.

A free and independent press is absolutely essential.  In fact, Thomas Jefferson once warned that “our liberty depends on the freedom of the press, and that cannot be limited without being lost.”  Sadly, we have just learned that some of our most prominent media outlets have been receiving enormous amounts of money from the government.  The New York Times, Politico and the Associated Press were being absolutely showered with money during the Biden administration, and it is no coincidence that their coverage of the Biden administration was extremely favorable.  This is a scandal of epic proportions, and there is no way that these media outlets will ever recover from this because their credibility is totally gone.

What has been happening at Politico is particularly egregious.

It is supposed to be an independent media entity, but it has been receiving millions of our tax dollars.

In fact, it has received more than 8 million dollars from USAID alone.

But that money from USAID is just the tip of the iceberg.

Overall, Politico has received more than 34 million dollars from the federal government.

That is a tremendous amount of money.

Politico has a subscription option called Politico Pro, and it costs about 10 grand per year.

For some reason, a whole bunch of government agencies were shelling out giant piles of money for such ridiculously-priced subscriptions.

The Biden administration was certainly very good to Politico.

Are we supposed to believe that it was just a “coincidence” that Politico was also very good to the Biden administration?

It was Politico that maneuvered to have the Hunter laptop story banned and everyone discussing it censored.

Politico peddled the illegal Supreme Court leak that led to the near-assassination of multiple Supreme Court justices.

And now we find out the regime was funneling tens of millions of dollars of our money to Politico?

This is rampant corruption.

Thankfully, the DOGE team is working on ending all payments to Politico right now…

Interestingly, staffers at Politico “did not get paid for the latest pay period”…

Staff at Politico did not get paid for the latest pay period. The company just sent several emails to employees saying it believes there was a technical error, and is looking into how to fix the issue.

Could it be possible that their staff did not get paid because the gravy train from the federal government is drying up?

Of course Politico is not the only media outlet that has been getting showered with cash.

It turns out that the “independent” Associated Press has also been raking in millions of dollars.

How can any organization that has hauled in 19.5 million dollars from the federal government possibly claim to be free and independent?

Someone really needs to ask the Associated Press that question.

But at least the Associated Press has not been as big of an offender as the New York Times has.

The most important newspaper in the United States has received “tens of millions of dollars over just the past 5 years”.

The New York Times is a complete and utter disgrace.

I am sorry if this offends you, but it is the truth.

Reporters for the New York Times pretend to be “journalists”, but ultimately they are just propaganda mouthpieces.

It may not surprise you to learn that Reuters is also corrupt.

In fact, it has just come out that they were awarded a very large government contract for “Active Social Engineering Defense” and “Large Scale Social Deception”.

If you can believe it, Reuters was paid more than 9 million dollars under this single contract.

There is no excuse for any of this.

The good news is that many of these legacy media companies were headed for extinction anyway.

For example, we are being told that “the future of CNN looks grim”…

The future of CNN looks grim as experts say the liberal network is ‘in decline’ after staffers faced pay cuts and a round of layoffs.

Jeff McCall, a communications professor at Indiana’s Depauw University, told the Los Angeles Times that the network’s layoffs are not a good look for CNN.

‘Right now, you think of their brand as in decline. The layoffs; that’s a problem. And it looks really bad when you lose libel suits,’ McCall said.

Because these legacy media companies have lost so much credibility, more people than ever are seeking out alternative sources of information.  I am honored to be a part of the alternative media ecosystem, but unlike legacy media outlets I do not receive any money from the government.  I am able to keep my work alive by offering books and subscriptions to my newsletter.

We live at a time when global events are moving at a blistering pace.  As Donald Trump and Elon Musk shake the very foundations of Washington D.C.’s giant bureaucracy, very alarming things are starting to happen all over the world.  Chaos is erupting all around us, and I am entirely convinced that it is only going to intensify during the months ahead.

Let me start by discussing the worst egg shortage in U.S. history.

All over the country, grocery stores and restaurants are having a really difficult time finding enough eggs right now…

American restaurants are falling victim to a national egg shortage that has already plagued grocery stores from New York City to San Francisco and sent prices to $7 a carton.

I never imagined that egg prices would reach such dizzying heights in 2025, and the year has just begun.

In the Big Apple, a dozen cage-free eggs will set you back $11.99…

In New York City, prices reached as high as $11.99 for a dozen cage-free eggs at Whole Foods Inc. The national retailer placed a three-carton purchase limit on customers at some locations in the city. Customers in Nassau County on Long Island found supplies of Vital Farms pasture-raised eggs and Nellie’s free range ones sold out at Whole Foods online in the past week.

Organic eggs have been in short supply too. Over the weekend, refrigerated shelves were almost completely bare at a ShopRite in Brooklyn. The few crates left were priced at about $1 per egg. A nearby Costco was out of everything except quail eggs, according to grocery delivery app Instacart, and a Wegmans had run out of some of its store brands.

This is nuts.

A dozen eggs should be less than a dollar.

Or at least that was what life in America was like during the “good old days” prior to the pandemic.

But now it appears that those days are gone for good.

In fact, things are so bad that the Waffle House has decided to implement a “50 cent per egg surcharge”…

The Waffle House restaurant chain is putting a 50 cent per egg surcharge in place due to the biggest bird flu outbreak in a decade.

The 24-7 restaurant said that the resulting egg shortage has led to a dramatic increase in its costs.

Bird flu is forcing farmers to slaughter millions of chickens a month, pushing U.S. egg prices to more than double their cost in the summer of 2023. And it appears there may be no relief in sight with Easter approaching.

Once upon a time, the two egg breakfast at the Waffle House was one of the most affordable breakfast meals in America.

But now you will have to shell out $7.75 for it…

The Waffle House, a reliable source of a cheap breakfast, said that its egg surcharge became effective this week and that it applies to all of its menus. The restaurant’s two-egg breakfast, which comes with toast and a side, was listed at $7.75 on Tuesday.

“While we hope these price fluctuations will be short-lived we cannot predict how long this shortage will last,” the company said.

The bird flu pandemic that has been raging all over the world since early 2022 has not gone away.

In fact, over the last eight weeks it has been worse then ever…

“If you look at what’s happened the last eight weeks, the number of poultry operations that have gone down — and more recently, the duck operations — is absolutely stunning,” Michael Osterholm, director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota told Axios.

Unfortunately, some experts are warning us that it is just a matter of time before the bird flu starts spreading among humans on a widespread basis.

When that happens, the panic that we will witness will be off the charts.

Are you ready for that?

Meanwhile, there is news that a different deadly virus has been discovered in the U.S. “for the first time ever”…

A potentially deadly virus has been detected in the United States for the first time ever.

Scientists identified the Camp Hill virus in shrews in Alabama, sparking fears it could find its way through animal reservoirs to humans and cause a potentially wide-reaching outbreak.

The Camp Hill virus belongs to a family of pathogens called henipaviruses, including the Nipah virus, a bat-borne virus that kills up to 70 percent of people it infects. The Camp Hill virus, however, has never been recorded in humans and scientists don’t know what symptoms are or the death rate.

That is certainly alarming.

And let us not forget about the outbreaks of Ebola, the Marburg virus, and a new strain of the monkeypox that are causing so much alarm in central Africa.

Yes, pestilences are certainly shaping up to be one of the major themes of 2025.

In Europe, another sort of a threat is making headlines.

Over the past week, more than 500 earthquakes have shaken the Santorini area…

Starting on January 28, the islands of Santorini and Amorgos have been rocked by near-constant tremors of magnitudes three to four.

According to the University of Athens’ earthquake monitoring tool, more than 555 earthquakes have hit the area since then.

Needless to say, these quakes have created quite a stir, and people have been evacuating from Santorini in droves…

Hundreds of people left Santorini on ferries and planes on Tuesday to reach safety in Athens as a series of quakes kept shaking the famous Greek tourist island.

Hundreds of quakes have been registered every few minutes in the sea between the volcanic islands of Santorini and Amorgos, in the Aegean Sea, in recent days, prompting authorities to shut schools in Santorini and the small nearby islands of Ios, Amorgos and Anafi until Friday.

Scientists are trying to assure us that everything is just fine and that a full-blown eruption of Santorini is not likely to happen.

Hopefully they are correct about that, because an enormous eruption of Santorini that occurred many centuries ago was absolutely catastrophic…

However, geologists believe a vastly more powerful eruption occurred around 1620 BC which destroyed a large part of the island, blanketed the region with ash, and is even believed to have contributed to the downfall of the mighty Minoan civilisation.

We have been witnessing unusual seismic activity here in the United States as well.

In fact, during the month of December there was a very alarming swarm of earthquakes along the New Madrid fault zone…

It has been an active week on the New Madrid fault line.

There have been ten small earthquakes in the Bootheel this week alone, with magnitudes ranging from 1.8 to 3.0.

I don’t think that a major quake is going to hit the region immediately.

But it is interesting to note that officials do intend to update the emergency plan for that area of the country…

State officials are teaming up with federal offices to plan for one of the most unpredictable disasters, earthquakes.

The Arkansas Department of Emergency Management along with FEMA, Region 6, and 30 counties have teamed up to update the New Madrid Seismic Zone plan.

Before I end this piece, there are two more things that I wanted to mention.

First of all, the Chinese have just announced that they will be imposing retaliatory tariffs on U.S. imports…

China unveiled a series of retaliatory measures against the U.S. on Tuesday, shortly after U.S. tariffs on Chinese goods took effect, raising concerns of a broader trade war between the world’s two largest economies.

China’s Finance Ministry said Tuesday it will impose additional tariffs of 15% on coal and liquefied natural gas imports from the U.S. and 10% higher duties on American crude oil, agricultural machinery and certain cars, starting Feb. 10.

U.S. relations with China are heading downhill very fast.

This will be something to watch very closely in the months ahead.

Also on Tuesday, Donald Trump signed an executive order that is intended to exert “maximum pressure” on Iran…

President Donald Trump will sign executive order on Tuesday restoring “maximum pressure” on Iran, Reuters is reporting, citing a US official. This is with the intended aim of thwarting all paths of the Islamic Republic toward a nuclear weapon.

The US official also cited Iran’s “malign influence” in the Mideast region and de facto state of war with Israel, including support for regional militants who attack Israeli territory and interests.

“The official told Reuters that Trump’s directive orders the US Treasury Secretary to impose ‘maximum economic pressure’ on Iran, including sanctions and enforcement mechanisms on those violating existing sanctions. The directive is aimed at denying Iran ‘all paths to a nuclear weapon’ and countering ‘Iran’s malign influence’ according to the official.”

Of course economic pressure alone is not going to stop Iran from developing nuclear weapons.

In recent months they have really been ramping up their program, and it is being reported that they have actually been working on delivery systems “with a 1,800‑mile range that could reach Europe”…

Iran has allegedly been covertly developing nuclear weapons with a 1,800‑mile range that could reach Europe using North Korean designs, according to the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI).

The Telegraph in Britain reported Sunday that details provided by the NCRI indicate that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) is expanding its warhead program at two sites disguised as communication satellite launch facilities. The facilities, controlled by Iran’s nuclear weapons division – the Organisation for Advanced Defence Research (SPND) – are reportedly expediting missile production.

The Trump administration is not going to allow Iran to produce nuclear weapons.

Likewise, the Israeli government is not going to allow Iran to produce nuclear weapons.

But Iran has already almost reached a point of no return.

So I am expecting to see military action against Iran in the not too distant future.

When that happens, the Iranians will go absolutely ballistic, the price of oil will go through the roof, and the entire region will be thrown into a state of chaos.

At this moment, the media is focusing on so many other things.

But it won’t be too long before war with Iran makes really big news, and once we reach that stage everything will change.

What in the world just happened at Reagan National Airport?  Like many of you, I was deeply distressed to hear of such a great tragedy that should have been so easy to avoid.  There is no way that we can bring back those that have died.  Many believe that if competent people were running things at Reagan National Airport, they would still be with us.  Others are entirely convinced that we aren’t being given the entire picture.  There are so many unanswered questions, and I am going to share quite a few with you in this article.

But let’s start with the basics.  On Wednesday evening, a Black Hawk helicopter violently collided with an American Airlines plane that was attempting to land…

A massive search and rescue effort was underway after an Army Black Hawk helicopter collided midair with an American Airlines jet at Reagan National Airport in Arlington, Virginia, on Wednesday evening.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), a PSA Airlines Bombardier CRJ700 regional jet collided in midair with a Sikorsky UH-60 helicopter while on approach to Runway 33 at Reagan National Airport (DCA) around 9 p.m. local time.

PSA was operating as Flight 5342 for American Airlines, and it departed from Wichita, Kansas.

With all of the technology at our disposal, there is no way that something like this should happen.

But it did.

People are demanding solid answers, and hopefully we will get some soon.  There is just so much about this story that simply does not make any sense.  The following are 10 burning questions that everyone should be asking about the Black Hawk disaster at Reagan National Airport…

#1 Why was staffing “not normal for the time of day and volume of traffic” at the air traffic control tower that was giving directions?

#2 Why was one person doing the jobs of two people at the time of the crash?

#3 Why was the pilot of the plane asked to change runways just before disaster struck?

#4 Who ordered the runway switch?

#5 How is it possible that whoever was operating the Black Hawk could not see a huge commercial plane?

#6 Why didn’t the helicopter take evasive action to avoid the plane?

#7 Was the plane was equipped with modern collision-avoidance technology?  If so, why didn’t it prevent the crash from happening?

#8 Why are military helicopter training operations being conducted at such a busy airport?

#9 How is it possible that the helicopter “was going straight at the airplane for an extended period of time” and nobody did anything about it?

#10 Why weren’t precautions taken after a nearly identical disaster almost happened the day before?…

A passenger flight had to abort landing at Reagan National Airport in Washington DC the day before American Airlines Flight 5342 collided in midair with a helicopter.

Republic Airways Flight 4514 was forced to back out of touching down and had to make a second approach after a helicopter appeared near its flight path.

That’s according to an audio recording from air traffic control captured on Tuesday and heard by The Washington Post.

In my opinion, the military should be banned from conducting training operations at major airports.

There is just way too much traffic constantly coming in and out, and as we have seen, mistakes can happen.

Unfortunately, this was not the only air tragedy that occurred within the past few days.

In Santa Barbara, California a small private plane “crashed and burst into flames” near Highway 101…

And in Alaska, an F-35 fighter jet experienced a “malfunction” and tumbled violently out of the sky…

What is up with the F-35?

It is supposed to be one of the most advanced fighter jets in the entire world, but it has experienced one problem after another.

If even one of our most sophisticated fighter jets can lose power and tumble out of the sky, what does that say about us?

We live at a time when evidence of an “epidemic of incompetence” is everywhere we look.

The tremendous tragedy that just happened in Washington is also a reminder to all of us that life is so short.  One moment everything can seem perfectly normal, and the next moment you can be facing eternity.

Live every day as if it may be your last, because none of us is guaranteed tomorrow.

Sadly, I fully expect that there will be a lot more great tragedies throughout the remainder of 2025.

Global events have started to move at an extremely rapid pace, and the resulting instability is going to have very serious consequences in the days ahead.

Smartphones are making teenagers more aggressive, detached from reality and causing them to hallucinate, according to new research.

Scientists concluded the younger a person starts using a phone, the more likely they would be crippled by a whole host of psychological ills after surveying 10,500 teens between 13 and 17 from both the US and India for the study, by Sapien Labs.

“People don’t fully appreciate that hyper-real and hyper-immersive screen experiences can blur reality at key stages of development,” addiction psychologist Dr. Nicholas Kardaras, who was not part of the team who did the study, told The Post.

#2 According to Bloomberg, our cost of living crisis is driving more working Americans than ever to seek assistance from food banks…

Once a month, Kersstin Eshak visits a food pantry in Loudoun County, Virginia to stretch her family’s budget.

Eshak’s husband works at a big box retailer. She works as a substitute teacher. They have income, but with prices up nearly 23% over the past five years — and still rising — their earnings just don’t stretch quite far enough some months.

Food banks across the nation are seeing a similar story: A post-pandemic wave of demand for food driven by working people caught in America’s cost-of-living crunch.

The only problem is that while opening up his church — Dad’s Place in Bryan, Ohio — to the homeless, he’s also opened himself up to the reality of city code.

“Pastor Avell has known that this was not permitted use and that he does not have firewalls, he does not have sprinkler systems,” said Bryan Mayor Carrie Schlade. “The kind of things you need in a residential facility. “

#5 A cryptocurrency called “Fartcoin” that was created as a joke currently has a market capitalization of 847 million dollars.

#6 Fentanyl is absolutely destroying communities all over America.  For example, check out what has been happing in Las Cruces, New Mexico…

Las Cruces authorities say they first encountered fentanyl in 2018. In 2020, they confiscated a total of 461 pills.

In 2021, the first year of the Biden administration, fentanyl seizures exploded to more than 22,600 – and continued rising: roughly 70,000 pills were seized in 2022 and nearly 86,000 in 2023.

“It wasn’t in Las Cruces, and then it was, and then it was everywhere. In 2021, it really intensified and we’ve seen that the past few years. During that same period from 2018 to 2021, we saw a huge increase in crime: an 85% increase in violent crime and a 71% increase in property crime,” Las Cruces Chief of Police Jeremy Story stated last year during a virtual press conference on New Mexico’s fentanyl epidemic.

#7 In 2024, corporate bankruptcies in the United States reached the highest level “since the 2008 financial crisis”.

#8 We don’t hear much about cargo theft, but it reached a staggering 454 million dollars in 2024.  That was a brand new all-time record high…

Cargo theft hit a record high in the U.S. and Canada for the second consecutive year, and the trend is expected to continue as criminal enterprises have become more sophisticated in their methods.

Verisk CargoNet’s annual analysis released this week found that cargo theft surged 27% from 2023 to 2024, hitting a record 3,625 reported incidents last year with an average value of $202,364 per theft. All told, the losses are estimated at more than $454 million.

#9 According to the New York Times, 15 percent of the “women” in our federal prisons are transgender.

Next time you walk down the aisles of your local grocery store, take a closer look at what’s actually available on those shelves. A stunning report reveals the majority of food products sold at major U.S. grocery chains are highly processed, with most of them priced significantly cheaper than less processed alternatives.

In what may be the most comprehensive analysis of food processing in American grocery stores to date, researchers examined over 50,000 food items sold at Walmart, Target, and Whole Foods to understand just how processed our food supply really is. Using sophisticated machine learning techniques, they developed a database called GroceryDB that scores foods based on their degree of processing.

#11 Homelessness in the U.S. is at the highest level ever recorded, and it is increasing at the fastest pace ever recorded.
