10 Charts Which Show We Are Much Worse Off Than Just Before The Last Economic Crisis

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

10 Charts Economic CrisisIf you believe that ignorance is bliss, you might not want to read this article.  I am going to dispel the notion that there has been any sort of “economic recovery”, and I am going to show that we are much worse off than we were just prior to the last economic crisis.  If you go back to 2007, people were feeling really good about things.  Houses were being flipped like crazy, the stock market was booming and unemployment was relatively low.  But then the financial crisis of 2008 struck, and for a while it felt like the world was coming to an end.  Of course it didn’t come to an end – it was just the first wave of our problems.  The waves that come next are going to be the ones that really wipe us out.  Unfortunately, because we have experienced a few years of relative stability, many Americans have become convinced that Barack Obama, Janet Yellen and the rest of the folks in Washington D.C. have fixed whatever problems caused the last crisis.  Even though all of the numbers are screaming otherwise, there are millions upon millions of people out there that truly believe that everything is going to be okay somehow.  We never seem to learn from the past, and when this next economic downturn strikes it is going to do an astonishing amount of damage because we are already in a significantly weakened state from the last one.

For each of the charts that I am about to share with you, I want you to focus on the last shaded gray bar on each chart which represents the last recession.  As you will see, our economic problems are significantly worse than they were just before the financial crisis of 2008.  That means that we are far less equipped to handle a major economic crisis than we were the last time.

#1 The National Debt

Just prior to the last recession, the U.S. national debt was a bit above 9 trillion dollars.  Since that time, it has nearly doubled.  So does that make us better off or worse off?  The answer, of course, is obvious.  And even though Barack Obama promises that “deficits are under control”, more than a trillion dollars was added to the national debt in fiscal year 2014.  What we are doing to future generations by burdening them with so much debt is beyond criminal.  And so what does Barack Obama want to do now?  He wants to ramp up government spending and increase the debt even faster.  This is something that I covered in my previous article entitled “Barack Obama Says That What America Really Needs Is Lots More Debt“.

Presentation National Debt

#2 Total Debt

Over the past 40 years, the total amount of debt in the United States has skyrocketed to astronomical heights.  We have become a “buy now, pay later” society with devastating consequences.  Back in 1975, our total debt level was sitting at about 2.5 trillion dollars.  Just prior to the last recession, it was sitting at about 50 trillion dollars, and today we are rapidly closing in on 60 trillion dollars.

#3 The Velocity Of Money

When an economy is healthy, money tends to change hands and circulate through the system quite rapidly.  So it makes sense that the velocity of money fell dramatically during the last recession.  But why has it kept going down since then?

Presentation Velocity Of M2

#4 The Homeownership Rate

Were you aware that the rate of homeownership in the United States has fallen to a 20 year low?  Traditionally, owning a home has been a sign that you belong to the middle class.  And the last recession was really rough on the middle class, so it makes sense that the rate of homeownership declined during that time frame.  But why has it continued to steadily decline ever since?

Presentation Homeownership Rate

#5 The Employment Rate

Barack Obama loves to tell us how the unemployment rate is “going down”.  But as I will explain later in this article, this decline is primarily based on accounting tricks.  Posted below is a chart of the civilian employment-population ratio.  Just prior to the last recession, approximately 63 percent of the working age population of the United States was employed.  During the recession, this ratio fell to below 59 percent and it stayed there for several years.  Just recently it has peeked back above 59 percent, but we are still very, very far from where we used to be, and now the next economic downturn is rapidly approaching.

Presentation Employment Population Ratio

#6 The Labor Force Participation Rate

So how can Obama get away with saying that the unemployment rate has gone down dramatically?  Well, each month the government takes thousands upon thousands of long-term unemployed workers and decides that they have been unemployed for so long that they no longer qualify as “part of the labor force”.  As a result, the “labor force participation rate” has fallen substantially since the end of the last recession…

Presentation Labor Force Participation Rate

#7 The Inactivity Rate For Men In Their Prime Working Years

If things are “getting better”, then why are so many men in their prime working years doing nothing at all?  Just prior to the last recession, the inactivity rate for men in their prime working years was about 9 percent.  Today it is just about 12 percent.

Presentation Inactivity Rate

#8 Real Median Household Income

Not only is a smaller percentage of Americans employed today than compared to just prior to the last recession, the quality of our jobs has gone down as well.  This is one of the factors which has resulted in a stunning decline of real median household income.

Presentation Real Median Household Income

I have shared these next numbers before, but they bear repeating.  In America today, most Americans do not make enough to support a middle class lifestyle on a single salary.  The following figures come directly from the Social Security Administration

-39 percent of American workers make less than $20,000 a year.

-52 percent of American workers make less than $30,000 a year.

-63 percent of American workers make less than $40,000 a year.

-72 percent of American workers make less than $50,000 a year.

We all know people that are working part-time jobs because that is all that they can find in this economy.  As the quality of our jobs continues to deteriorate, the numbers above are going to become even more dismal.

#9 Inflation

Even as our incomes have stagnated, the cost of living just continues to rise steadily.  For example, the cost of food and beverages has gone up nearly 50 percent just since the year 2000.

Presentation Food Inflation

#10 Government Dependence

As the middle class shrinks and the number of Americans that cannot independently take care of themselves soars, dependence on the government is reaching unprecedented heights.  For instance, the federal government is now spending about twice as much on food stamps as it was just prior to the last recession.  How in the world can anyone dare to call this an “economic recovery”?

Presentation Government Spending On Food Stamps

So you tell me – are things “getting better” or are they getting worse?

To me, it is crystal clear that we are in much worse condition than we were just prior to the last economic crisis.

And now things are setting up in textbook fashion for the next great economic crisis.  Unfortunately, most Americans are totally clueless about what is going on and the vast majority are completely and totally unprepared for what is coming.

Or could it be possible that I am wrong?  Whether you agree or disagree with me, please feel free to add to the discussion by posting a comment below…

  • ItIsWell

This is the kind of article I wish my family would read. It’s all facts and it even includes pretty little pictures to help the ones who believe Obama is the US economy saviour.

  • T.

These Numbers (Charts) don’t Lie – “Things are worse than prior to the last Recession.”

  • Bill

More lies every day seem to help people think they have survived another one when they are really sliding further down the slope of despair. Indifference will eventually consume us all if it hasn’t already.

  • K

I hear Yellin has a new plan. She is going to click her heels together 3 times. And yell, there is nothing like a recovery. Probably work as well as anything else, they have tried.

  • Imaplaneiac

INFLATION?? No worries!! What inflation?! I watched the fake / phony ” Federal ” Reserve Chairman Janet Yellen’s address today. See would have use believe that inflation is miniscule; somewhere around 1%! Furthermore, the unemployment rate is at 5.2%. KNOWING she was lying through her teeth, I had to change to another channel! If you missed her address, it can be found by doing a Search. That is, if you can tolerate her lies!

  • Erik Bergum

Many people think the economy is getting better. However, many who think this are more likely deceiving themselves and do not realize it.

    • K2

Among them some of them are invested in the stock market, some own houses and when their house value increases they feel the economy is getting better, some who were previously unemployed and now got jobs or heard that other people they know got jobs leading to increased hope among them, some who are coming out of their under water mortgages, gas prices falling etc etc. I am not saying the economy is getting better, i have no idea….i am not an american, but people often think the economy is getting better if their personal economic situation gets better.

      • jared thompson

It is a fake recovery after the warning shot across the bow of the 2007 collapse – they will soon know the pain when the economy contracts over the next decade or less.

        • T.

The “Whole System” broke in 2008. It (The System) has been kept going on artificial life support by Creating many Trillions of Fiat Digital Dollars, Yen, Euros, Pounds and Yuan. The COLLAPSE date September 13th, 2015. Happy Shemita.

          • Maddog

I believe the collapse date is closer to July 15, 2015 shortly after gay marriage becomes law in America. This will also bring an end to the church in America guaranteed. They will be sued out of existence within months. Better start looking for a going away gift for your pastor, time is short.

          • T.

You may be right. If you are familiar with chaplain L.Wllms’ then you know that his elitest insider friend has said that They plan on bringing Evrythng down in sept of 15 and bringing in the “nwo” also. I believe he has it right – Anyway, we shall all SEE very sooooooooon.

          • Maddog

We may both be right. They will need chaos to bring in big chance. It already has started in my estimate. With the addition of gay marriage along with the false racist operations and the fall of the church and decline of the dollar the sheeple will be ripe for the pickings.

          • T.

I agree completely. You mention the fall of the church (and I agree) but in your mind exactly “What” one thing has brought about the “Fall”? I want to see if it coincides with the “one” thing that I believe it is.

          • Maddog

            Moral conviction.

          • T.

I believe that is one of the Results of the “one” thing that brought about the “Fall” of the church. I believe the “Fall” as given in 2 Thes. 2:3 is the Same thing that brought about the Original “Fall” of our mom&dad as given in Gen. 3:6. That “one” thing was “she (eve/church) believed satan’s Lie and she (eve/church) Acted on the Belief of that Lie of satan – which equated to Rebellion against God who is TRUTH. So, the question then is “What” is the Lie of satan that the church in the end time (last 60 years) has Believed and Acted on which in essence equates to rebellion against a holy God and has brought forth her “Fall” even as did eve’s (and adam’s).

          • Maddog

That they would not die and live forever as God.

          • T.

Yes. God said that they would die and satan said they would not. So, they both ate thereof thus Acting on satan’s Lie – which means they Rebelled against God’s spoken word (TRUTH). So then, “What” is satan’s Lie that the church has “Believed” and “Acted” on and therefore has Rebelled against God’s spoken word (TRUTH)? The church’s Action in support of satan’s Lie has brought about the “Fall” of the church as given by Paul in 2 Thes.2:3.

          • Maddog

            God’s word is not truth.

          • T.

Again, I believe that is one of the Results of the church having Believed a Lie of satan (specific Lie – as was the “one” eve Believed was specific). Also, there are many churches that “Believe God’s word is Truth” – But has “Fallen” for this “one” specific Lie of satan.

          • GSOB

Until you repent, turn to God, cry out for mercy, that He might reveal Christ to you – you serve sin and Satan.

          • GSOB

You don’t understand what faith is all about.

            Hebrews 11 Amplified Bible (AMP)

11 Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].

2 For by [faith—trust and holy fervor born of faith] the men of old had divine testimony borne to them and obtained a good report.

3 By faith we understand that the worlds [during the successive ages] were framed (fashioned, put in order, and equipped for their intended purpose) by the word of God, so that what we see was not made out of things which are visible.

4 [Prompted, actuated] by faith Abel brought God a better and more acceptable sacrifice than Cain, because of which it was testified of him that he was righteous [that he was upright and in right standing with God], and God bore witness by accepting and acknowledging his gifts. And though he died, yet [through the incident] he is still speaking.

5 Because of faith Enoch was caught up and transferred to heaven, so that he did not have a glimpse of death; and he was not found, because God had translated him. For even before he was taken to heaven, he received testimony [still on record] that he had pleased and been satisfactory to God.

6 But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out].

7 [Prompted] by faith Noah, being forewarned by God concerning events of which as yet there was no visible sign, took heed and diligently and reverently constructed and prepared an ark for the deliverance of his own family. By this [his faith which relied on God] he passed judgment and sentence on the world’s unbelief and became an heir and possessor of righteousness ([c]that relation of being right into which God puts the person who has faith).

8 [Urged on] by faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and went forth to a place which he was destined to receive as an inheritance; and he went, although he did not know or trouble his mind about where he was to go.

9 [Prompted] by faith he dwelt as a temporary resident in the land which was designated in the promise [of God, though he was like a stranger] in a strange country, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, fellow heirs with him of the same promise.

10 For he was [waiting expectantly and confidently] looking forward to the city which has fixed and firm foundations, whose Architect and Builder is God.

11 Because of faith also Sarah herself received physical power to conceive a child, even when she was long past the age for it, because she considered [God] Who had given her the promise to be reliable and trustworthy and true to His word.

12 So from one man, though he was physically as good as dead, there have sprung descendants whose number is as the stars of heaven and as countless as the innumerable sands on the seashore.

13 These people all died controlled and sustained by their faith, but not having received the tangible fulfillment of [God’s] promises, only having seen it and greeted it from a great distance by faith, and all the while acknowledging and confessing that they were strangers and temporary residents and exiles upon the earth.

14 Now those people who talk as they did show plainly that they are in search of a fatherland (their own country).

15 If they had been thinking with [homesick] remembrance of that country from which they were emigrants, they would have found constant opportunity to return to it.

16 But the truth is that they were yearning for and aspiring to a better and more desirable country, that is, a heavenly [one]. For that reason God is not ashamed to be called their God [even to be surnamed their God—the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob], for He has prepared a city for them.

17 By faith Abraham, when he was put to the test [while the testing of his faith was still in progress], had already brought Isaac for an offering; he who had gladly received and welcomed [God’s] promises was ready to sacrifice his only son,

18 Of whom it was said, Through Isaac shall your descendants be reckoned.

19 For he reasoned that God was able to raise [him] up even from among the dead. Indeed in the sense that Isaac was figuratively dead [potentially sacrificed], he did [actually] receive him back from the dead.

20 [With eyes of] faith Isaac, looking far into the future, invoked blessings upon Jacob and Esau.

21 [Prompted] by faith Jacob, when he was dying, blessed each of Joseph’s sons and bowed in prayer over the top of his staff.

22 [Actuated] by faith Joseph, when nearing the end of his life, referred to [the promise of God for] the departure of the Israelites out of Egypt and gave instructions concerning the burial of his own bones.

23 [Prompted] by faith Moses, after his birth, was kept concealed for three months by his parents, because they saw how comely the child was; and they were not overawed and terrified by the king’s decree.

24 [Aroused] by faith Moses, when he had grown to maturity and [f]become great, refused to be called the son of Pharaoh’s daughter,

25 Because he preferred to share the oppression [suffer the hardships] and bear the shame of the people of God rather than to have the fleeting enjoyment of a sinful life.

26 He considered the contempt and abuse and shame [borne for] the Christ (the Messiah Who was to come) to be greater wealth than all the treasures of Egypt, for he looked forward and away to the reward (recompense).

27 [Motivated] by faith he left Egypt behind him, being unawed and undismayed by the wrath of the king; for he never flinched but held staunchly to his purpose and endured steadfastly as one who gazed on Him Who is invisible.

28 By faith (simple trust and confidence in God) he instituted and carried out the Passover and the sprinkling of the blood [on the doorposts], so that the destroyer of the firstborn (the angel) might not touch those [of the children of Israel].

29 [Urged on] by faith the people crossed the Red Sea as [though] on dry land, but when the Egyptians tried to do the same thing they were swallowed up [by the sea].

30 Because of faith the walls of Jericho fell down after they had been encompassed for seven days [by the Israelites].

31 [Prompted] by faith Rahab the prostitute was not destroyed along with those who refused to believe and obey, because she had received the spies in peace [without enmity].

32 And what shall I say further? For time would fail me to tell of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets,

33 Who by [the help of] faith subdued kingdoms, administered justice, obtained promised blessings, closed the mouths of lions,

34 Extinguished the power of raging fire, escaped the devourings of the sword, out of frailty and weakness won strength and became stalwart, even mighty and resistless in battle, routing alien hosts.

35 [Some] women received again their dead by a resurrection. Others were tortured [g]to death with clubs, refusing to accept release [offered on the terms of denying their faith], so that they might be resurrected to a better life.

36 Others had to suffer the trial of mocking and scourging and even chains and imprisonment.

37 They were stoned to death; they were lured with tempting offers [to renounce their faith]; they were sawn asunder; they were slaughtered by the sword; [while they were alive] they had to go about wrapped in the skins of sheep and goats, utterly destitute, oppressed, cruelly treated—

38 [Men] of whom the world was not worthy—roaming over the desolate places and the mountains, and [living] in caves and caverns and holes of the earth.

39 And all of these, though they won divine approval by [means of] their faith, did not receive the fulfillment of what was promised,

40 Because God had us in mind and had something better and greater in view for us, so that they [these heroes and heroines of faith] should not come to perfection apart from us [before we could join them].

“…This will also bring an end to the church in America guaranteed….”

Making homosexual ‘marriage’ the law of the land will be looked back upon as opening the door for judgment

Very interesting timing that the first ever Jesuit Pope will be making his first visit to the USA in September…if you know your history, a Jesuit pope should give us cold shivers..

On a side note, interesting that July 16 is the 100 year anniversary of Ellen White’s death

lots of blips on the radar screen for mid 2015

          • Kelly

Very interesting timing that the first ever Jesuit Pope will be making
his first visit to the USA in September immediately after the Shemita…personally I don’t buy into the shemita thing but there are just too many blips on the radar screen for July-Sept 2015…if you know your history, a
Jesuit pope should give us cold shivers…for the pope to gain power there has to be a desire from the USA people to do something…that desire will come from the judgments following the destruction of marriage by the Supreme Court…he arrives in the USA to speak to Congress (see the cnn article) sept 24

          • T.

Agree. Amerika is a very Wicked nation. Sadly, Most christians do not seem to realize this obvious truth. Are we the Laodicean church in revelation? Yes. There are many sleepy Laodicean churches in Amerika. So, the (the 1st ever Jesuit) pope’s visit – the shemita – the 4th blood moon – all hitting in Septrmber. Something very Evil cometh this way This year. Stay close to Jesus and God bless.

The economic and social collapse ALREADY happened, the middle class is dead or on its last legs, and the totalitarian society is creeping onwards near its completion.

And most people are ignorant of this. It is sadly how most people are hardwired.

      • Guest

We’re not even close. We haven’t even gotten to where Greece is currently. Rest assured, QE is still going on in one form or another, it’s just not being reported. Haven’t you wondered why the Fed hasn’t raised interest rates yet like they’ve been promising, threatening, to do? They know damn well if they do then the whole house of cards will really fall apart, bringing about the failure of the welfare state and the JIT delivery system then guess what comes next? When the nanny state folds and the free food, electricity, heat, ect stops coming in, and I assure you it will, there will be rioting on the streets of every major city in America. What’s going to happen when the stores have nothing left on the shelves? The real social collapse. No, we’re not quite there yet, but we’re certainly heading that way. The only difference is, this time it will be complete and this time it will be global. The next collapse will make 1929 look like a walk in the park. I hope you’re prepared.

        • seth datta

One thing – american citizens are being set up to take the fall for the economic collapse, as it is the only nation who is seen as a warmonger by every other nation, and the banksters will et the people take the fall whilst they escape – this, and many other reasons are why the final debacle will take 5-10 years from now and not greater than that; whatever society is left after this time will not be a good one.

It is not a cliche, in that we need to spread word that we all should be more repentant towards God, for he is the only one who can change such things.

        • none

That is really good news Jarred(guest).
This means that I will finally be able to afford a house!

      As long as it takes.

Ten years or less. They are attacking with greater pace now, going after the 1st amendment last month with the FCC which is why you must sign in to up vote etc, the 2nd amendment with an ammo ban this month;; and the 4th amendment with mandatory vaccines for adults being voted on this month.

the next “nail in the coffin” is the Fed talking higher interest…as well as the new china bank being endorsed by our allies…China sure does have a lot of power over our economy…time is short…

    • Catman

In what way will the new china bank adversely affect the US economy? Why in the world would the Fed ever raise interest rates given their core inflation numbers indicate very low inflation?

    • alan

Rates will go negative first. They just play the markets with here we go, going to raise it, get ready my finger is on the button, I’m pushing it no joke..Fake..rates will stay the same. The stawk market shoots up and somebody got paid!
Insiders get rich and the rest of us get screwed.

  • Catman

The dilemma is that the S&P is doing very well, so it seems things are going well. Because very few in Washington are complaining about/addressing the national debt most think the debt matters little, and it’s limit continues to go up with little consequence other than savers earn little interest. Monetary policy seems designed to support Wall Street, and consequently Wall Street continues to do well. The dollar is very strong, and we seem to have the strongest economy in the world. What are the most likely events to occur that will convince Wall Street the sky really is falling? What is the most likely trigger, and what will bring it about? I ask this because points though all your points are correct everything keeps chugging along profitably.

    • lucy

“past the time frames of other recessions”…Catman hit the nail on the head….the time frame has extended beyond the “norm” of the other collapses, so I guess people think the problems have been fixed, bidness as yooshul, nothing to see here, “let’s move on” is the name of their game.

  • robbie41

I see a pattern here, ever since the OCT 19, 1987 stock market crash, I notice a seven year stretch between crashes in the stock market. So will this Sept 13,2015 be another day that continues the seven year cycle? Well just have to wait & see..Also notice that the event’s are getting MORE Precise & Intense, with each passing seven years.. Just think of the Possibilities..If YOU prepare, YOU shall not fear..

    1. Black Monday October 19th 1987

    2. Black Tuesday Sept. 17, 2001

    3. Black Monday Sept. 29, 2008

    4. Black Friday Sept 13, 2015 ( Elul 29 ) The Mystery of the Shemitah

I did MY homework, & tried to find the TRUTH, How about YOU..

    • Mike Smithy

Was there a recession or a reset in 1994?

      • Catman

I was wondering the same thing. Yes, there seems to be a basic pattern to the 7 year cycle going back to 1967 or so but for some reason I’ve not seen anything on 1994.

I did a search and came up with this for 1994, take it as a grain of salt:

January 1 – The North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) between Mexico, Canada and the United States goes into effect

December 19- A planned exchange rate correction of the Mexican peso to the US dollar, becomes a massive financial meltdown in Mexico, unleashing the ‘Tequila’ effect on global financial markets. This prompts a US$50 billion “bailout” by the Clinton Administration.

    Dear white people,

Your government no longer represents you.

    – They applaud your demographic annihilation.

    – They confiscate TRILLIONS of dollars from you via taxation – and do they use that money to help you? No. They give it to blacks and browns so they can outbreed you.

    – They not only allow but they actively encourage and engage in discrimination against you.

    – They allow the beautiful cities YOUR ancestors built to be stolen from you and turned into third world style war zones – courtesy of your hard earned tax dollars.

    – They bring the full weight of the federal government against any of you who dare to defend yourselves.

    – They import million of third worlders in order to displace you and steal your jobs.

    – They demonize you and call you racist while supporting racist organizations such as La Raza and the NAACP.

    – They ignore hundreds of thousands of yearly black on white crimes while making national sensations out of comparably few white on black “crimes” (many of which are complete fabrications).

    – They discourage you from reproducing by filling your children’s heads with feminist nonsense.

    – They threaten to disarm you because blacks and browns can not behave responsibly with weapons.

And, after all of the above, they insist that YOU are the problem.

    They want you DEAD…..

The entire state has been nearly lost. Most people who live in white neighborhoods / semi affluent areas, live in a bubble. Most of LA proper is either a barrio or ghetto. Even the burbs are no longer inviting. As one travels across the state, the creep of decline has spread. There are entire towns in the central valley that look like barrios in Mexico. The golden state has nothing really to offer other then great weath

My first great journey into diversity came after I left the military and accepted a position at Motorola’s ceramic production facility located in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It didn’t take very long to notice that most of the internal promotions were 95% Hispanic, or Native American. Education and ability did not seem to factor into the equation. It was of no coincidence that many of the Hispanics were of the “reconquista” mentality.

My second great journey into diversity came after I left Motorola, and began employment at Piper Aircraft. As it turned out, Piper lost several out of court “diversity” cases involving several of the African-American employees. Two of these socially disadvantaged individuals were extremely disruptive and abrasive towards their fellow non-African co-workers. It always amazed me how Piper’s management always seemed to play the fool when dealing with these people. I have been told that the company did receive tax incentives for the hiring of certain racial classifications. While upper level management would profit off these hires, the shop floor employees had to constantly tolerate their attitude of entitlement.

      • jared thompson

I don’t disagree with what you said, but the ultimate goal is to enslave all by removing leadership from society, whatever the race of the person, as well as removing whites. Can’t have a JWO without it.

        • Rocketman

When I served in the military, I never considered myself a racist. Even though my views today are not entirely positive towards certain minorities, I consider myself a realist. In our wonderful world of diversity, it almost always seems accepted for a person of Hispanic descent to discriminate against a Caucasian. Of course, liberals that support this attitude never seem to mind as long as it does not personally displace them.

    • Catman

Well, some of us are Americans and we feel/see the same thing. The dilution of the white culture in America is in full swing with all the tools you mentioned and others. PC keeps most of our mouths shut as we experience the slow destruction. We have very little representation in Congress. Theyr’e more interested in keeping their jobs and helping their friends. What’s the solution?

      • jared thompson

Europe, despite its similar problems, will be the only white haven in future – all other countries are lost, but the sheeple will stick their heads in the sand.

        • VegasBob

It isn’t widely publicized because it’s not politically correct, but most of Europe has become a decadent Third-World hellhole.

      • NowAlive

The “solution” is ridiculously simple. Let me first qualify. I’m in no way a racist. However, it’s become obvious that the government’s most hated group consists of conservative white straight Christian males (the only legally discriminated group left, both law and PC/media). So here’s the solution: start a family, have 6 kids or more, be a husband and wife, father and mother, quit focusing on yourself and your material possessions, home school, turn off the tv and other forms of “entertainment” [brainwashing]. Most importantly, focus on Christ. This is what our ancestors did and, aside from some of the many evils they did, once vanquished (slavery for example), they were still strong, intelligent, vibrant, successful, and honorable. Today, kids grow up without a mother and father, spend their entire lives thinking it’s about getting more stuff and being entertained rather than living honorably, intelligently, and selflessly. Live for Christ. Live for others. That group can never be overthrown.

        • GSOB

“….. it’s become obvious that the government’s most hated group consists of conservative white straight Christian males (the only legally discriminated group left, both law and PC/media). ”
I really appreciate your comment. However, where is your concern being fueled from?
I know you are not racist but I want to understand what exactly is making you conclude that conservative white straight Christian males are now in vogue?

        • Oy Veeeeey

They should have focused more on race and never, ever allowed a certain self-choosen populace to come in the first place.

        • laura m.

Your’re somewhat living in a dream world. Who the hell can afford 6 kids, much less one. Day care costs, insurance, both parents working full time just to survive since the 70’s and more so now. Many young folks are not breeding, and some have one. Few women have the luxury to stay home. This is not the “60’s, this is 2015. And who in their right mind would bring kids into a country with a zero future?

Its not just white people. But yes, they want most if not all white people dead, because the Christian patriarchs of the past banished these bankers and their brethren, so they fear white people the most.

Problem is, white people contribute to this problem as they are often ignorant of the identity of the antagonising tribe; as well as white folk contributing in other ways, such as aborting their own children.

This year the sheeple will discover just how bad the economy is when the bond market explodes and government begins to steal from its citizens, although it has already started to some degree in the USA, very similar to the Roman Empire when it collapsed. Here in the UK it has not become as stupidly aggressive as in the USA. Empires collapse when the state turns on their citizens and take their assets; the citizen responds by producing less to stop the theft The USA has destroyed the Swiss Banking system and now people like me will not buy USA technology in case it is loaded with NSA snooping software or hardware. The Chinese have already ordered all state owned businesses to move away from Microsoft products so in one sweep the US government has cost MS a lot of money. I never thought I would see the day when the USA would head down that socialist road, look what happened to Britain. It should be compulsory for every US citizen to read the book, Road To Serfdom.

Most Americans are simpletons when it comes to the economy. As long as gas stays below $3.00 and they see a perceived increase in home prices a gallon most Americans cheer a good economy. You should show a graph of gas prices and economic confidence. A recent report showed how Americans are falling further behind in standard education tests compared to other industrialized nations. The American education system is the technological mushroom system; keep them in the dark and feed them iPads to play video games.

But then maybe that’s why GOP wants to start more wars with Iran, Syria, and Russia, since it will help their crony campaign contributors and increases employment by increasing military boots on the ground.

I agree for the most part, but again I have to express my dislike for Mike’s preference for men, as shown in his statistical charts #7. I would think that he of all people would know that we don’t live in a happily married ever after, w/2.5 children in each household, world anymore. So what’s the real point in the chart. Are we saying Johnny can’t get a wife cause he doesn’t make the big bucks? And now America is going to heck because of it? I can personally tell you, that’s less of a case than many may think.

I debate #9 about inflation in food. Sure that fancy coffee went up in Starbucks.. but was it necessary? Sure the price of beef went up, but there are other meats out there. I think Walmart’s 10lb bag of chicken at 79c/lb is rave(great). I’ve seen Walmart’s food prices edge up, but you know what? They’re finally getting their competition. I go into Dollar Tree and find most of their food items beat Walmart. And they just started carrying more name brand soups, for a $1! Take that, edging towards $2 Walmart. And house prices still are down comparably. Gas is currently way down.

The problem is quite simple. The aristocratic government of wealthy people is against the middle class of this country.
The middle class does not show too many signs of intelligence anyway when it comes to what the Congress of this country is doing and has done for many years.
Most of your tax base is basically designed to milk the middle and lower classes of this country. The complicated tax code gets regulated to death. These regulations are interpretations of existing law. A judge once said: “Ignorance is no excuse.”
Logistically speaking the man was a complete idiot. If the government puts out a total of 100 regulations a day, then it is impossible not to be ignorant of the law.
And that is where the government has everyone. Only the bureaus that make the regulations actually know what the regulations say. Even to the point of many of these regulations being directly opposed to each other in their content.
Now how does that effect the economy? It gives a lot of power over the common person and their wallets.
By reducing the number of jobs, the government allows those jobs to be sent overseas to countries where legal slavery is common. In these countries there is no Social net if one gets fired. Chances are you will starve if that happens.
Right now in our country the big problem has been that the doctors do not often get paid by the little people. I have heard figures like 60% bad debt collection in some cases. It is so bad the doctors have to join organizations to go after their money. They often group together to share office personnel.
Part of the answer was health care insurance. Meaning that we are forced to get high health insurance. The penalty being 1% of your total income or next year 2% and so on.
There are two real views here. One is from the top, and one is from the bottom. The one from the top is Keynesian Economics. Spend more money than you take in to promote business. The other is the common person and it is governed by how much money you take home after everything is taken out by one government agency or another. Defined as Federal, State, City, and County taxes.
When the common person has nothing left after paying the bills, then you have a real problem with money flow. Because at that point the problem compounds in such a way as to destroy most of the retail profits out there. Businesses normally profitable go bankrupt. And that is exactly what is happening under the health care act. They have drained the discretionary income so that the doctors get paid by the insurance industry.
The real answer is the health care industry itself has to shrink and more efficient ways have to be found to make sure the medical profession earns a living without taking unfair advantage of everyone else.
The average cost of producing a new cure for any disease is very high thanks to the industry controlled FDA. That is why many cures do not get made. That is why doctors and patients are frustrated with the entire system. Law has legislated exactly how a patient is treated for a disease. To go outside that box means legal problems. Which the government is happy to provide.
Ultimately, without discretionary income, the entire economy will collapse very soon.

    • jox

This is the begining of a new era: neo-feudalism.

    • Gay Veteran

The real answer is the health care industry must be covered by anti-monopoly laws. Karl Denninger has shown that would lower medical costs by over 50%

  • Robert C.

Things are going to get interesting at Obama’s last year as president. That is when you see clear signs of an collapse but, it may be a ruse just to say “we need someone strong to lead this country in the right direction and who better than Hillary Clinton”. • Junglejim

The articles you write are excellent and based on facts, not made up information that we receive daily from the gov’t’s of all sizes and the main stream media that continues to ignore reality all around them.

The problem today is that the majority of the population in developed nations is that they have never seen a real crisis in the banking system and are unable mentally to think that something so catastrophic can happen. As bad as it is in America and Europe, it is masked over with food stamps, welfare, unemployment benefits etc etc etc. The point is is that there is a fall back system, and even though it is not great, the government has programs to help.

    But what happens when

the banks close (NO atm’s, no debit cards, no credit cards and they will.

your food stamps are cut off

your pension is no longer or even cut in half.

employer’s don’t have a cash system to pay workers.

you cannot renew your drug prescriptions that keep you alive

What will happen around where you live when this takes place for even just a week, maybe a month? Let alone a prolonged depression the world has never seen.

The current generation living today has never ever seen a real downturn with no one there to bail you out. And whether they are religious or not, I have a feeling a lot of people are going to be dropping to there knees and praying for God to help them because there will be no help coming from the govt.

Unfortunately I believe this is coming and the sheeples will be helpless as the ones they put their somewhat complacent trust in will abandon ship to protect themselves.

  • Mondobeyondo

We are worse off, and more ill-prepared than ever. The economy appears to be getting better, but that is a massive deception. The outside of the mansion may look beautiful – stock market keeps rising, dollar is rising, oil is falling, etc – but once you step inside, it’s rotten to the core. You can not tell just by looking, what damage the (economic) termites have done to the infrastructure.

  • Richard O. Mann

EXCELLENT article! Here in Spain the official discourse is that the crisis has ended and recovery has started. It’s difficult for me to expain to family and friends that this is not true. Even when we see every day that companies close, home foreclosures continue, wages are stagnant, taxes are higher for the government to give more and more help to jobless and poor people. But the evidence is not enaugh when the media repeats and repeats the message that everything looks great and the stock market goes higher every day.

Here in Greece the official statement was also that the crisis had ended and recovery had started by showing us fake numbers of an increasing stock market . One can protect his/her country in many ways. A start would be if we believe less goverment and press lies.
I suspect from your answer that you mean the ultimate protection which concerns the use of weapons.(Correct me if I’m wrong).
When I said “protect your country” I had Spain in my mind as it seems (from jox’s post) that follows exactly my country’s “steps”. But I guess the same could be said for USA too. 🙂

Bill Gates just came up with an interesting interview stating that we are just around the corner from replacing the workforce with Intelligent Machines instead of humans.
If the country is going bankrupt, how will this effect the workforce?
    Or the stock market?
One theory of the great depression of the 30s was that it might have been caused by the Assembly Line taking over the jobs of skilled workers.
The resulting economic chaos was a permanent decrease in the need for skilled help to produce cars.
FDR must have thought the theory was somewhat valid as he switched the “FULL TIME” employment status of the country from 48 hours to 40 hours.
These are actions rather than words.
I think one result of the current depression might be a switch to a 32 hour week instead of a 40 hour week for full time employees. That means anything over 32 hours a week is overtime.
Certain agricultural and restaurant help were exempt.
Today we often see working conditions reflecting the great depression of the 30s.
This is wrong! But the once mighty and great Unions have fallen. Now the Union negotiated work force is less than 11%. There is even talk of breaking them further with right to slave legislation known better as right to work as promoted by the pimps better known as the Republican Party.
The entire thing is a setup by both parties to ruin the American Wage structure long term with labor at a fraction of the cost being in India and China.
This was not feasible years ago because of tariff legislation that kept it economically unfeasible. That is long past.
Now we are seeing the results of that tariff not being in place.
The American Legislative bodies under Clinton and then under Bush have sold out the American labor force big time. So now we have another Bush wanting to take the White House.
All of which is the fault of the American work force not paying attention to what their representatives and Presidents have done.
Until the resulting depression resolves itself, nothing will change. Even if we reverse everything they have done economically in this country, the result will be a huge inflation of prices.
It took them 30 years or more to produce the current conditions. Like a huge ocean liner, it will not change over night. And the changes will cause huge waves in the economy.

First they needed us to be the workforce. With automatization in factories, we became the consumers. Now that their wealth comes from the financial markets, they don’t need us as workers or consumers. Not even as citizens. We are a burden for them.

I don’t know if they will paciently wait for us to dead, each generation being smaller than the previous one, or the will accelerate the process with wars.

If you follow all the charts to the point of the beginning of the mass distortion, they generally occur in the year we got off the gold standard – and become worse once Wall Street was bailed out. We have been sold out and are too sheep-like to do anything about the shearing.

Michael, again, thanks for a great article. You are always on point and so informative. Most Americans – a large majority – don’t have a clue how the overall economy in the U.S. is doing. They know what is happening in their own lives but not further out. People today are transfixed by Facebook, Instagram, the Kardashians, the next iPhone or newest gadget. Americans are too busy being entertained and are just content on not knowing what is happening around them and in the world today. I really fear for the United States – none of this is going to end well.

  • Definitely some scary info … not scary of course if you have the basics down and ready to go, which you should do with or without these charts. Right?

Last chart: what an accidental coincidence… in 1971 the last link to gold standard dropped on USD.

“What we are doing to future generations by burdening them with so much debt is beyond criminal. ”

This is assuming, of course, that there is a future in the first place…

    I just don’t see it happening…

  • I am confused because from the US stats, using round numbers, there is a working population of 250mn of which 44mn are retired and 16mn are disabled or have other SS and 160mn are in employment of one form or another. So that leaves 30mn people (10% of total population) with no visible means of support? Surely there can’t be this many under the state radar; i.e. on the black market? If so, then USA needs to take a look at this a lot more closely.

Also I compared USA GDP per head for workers – $US 114,000 whereas in UK it is equivalent to $US 105,000 so in productivity terms generally we are not too far apart!

Michael, please do domething to explain these 30mn non working, non earning people?

    don’t just blame FED.
Other organisations and government are bigger cause of all these problems. They are responsible make good use of money handed to them. Instead they do stupid things. Waste money. Not use money efficiently.

      100% correct.

Are You on Facebook? Read a few of your posts awhile back and would like to ask You a few questions. Seems You know a few things.

History shows us that the majority will only wake up when the crisis is right on their doorstep. Most have a mindset that if they have a job, there is no reason why everybody doesn’t have one.
I would like to point out Michael that you, as far as I can recall, do not add to the calculations the enormous influx of immigrants who take not only jobs on H1 visas, but also those who receive welfare benefits that are normally denied citizens. The system that we’ve paid into with taxes and hard work is being sacked by the immigration policy.

These charts won’t matter until they matter. It truly seems like they will keep things going for longer than we imagine.

These charts matter very much right now.

The church will not “fall”. Not even the gates of hell will prevail against it. Sure, we will likely see persecution as many others have but the true church will remain and perhaps even thrive as it has in China. Believers who want to continue living a comfortable life may be out of luck. They will have to make a choice.

  • Gay Veteran

    did you even READ it???????

“…The couple who own the Wedding Chapel are ordained, but running a business, not a church. Nor are they pastors, since they don’t have a church, as ADF claimed. A church can discriminate — and they do so all the time, even when it comes to weddings. The Knapps, however, present the Hitching Post as a business, open to the public, and not as a ministry or religious establishment….”

but thanks for proving my point!

  • Phew, that’s some good work there socalbeachdude, many thanks for this. So you sound none too happy about the future; where pray will they all get their income from in 2040? As it is, I won’t be around but my children and theirs will be and I hope to give them at least some hope of a turnaround in the future. We in UK have a much smaller economy so the implications are less but we will remain subject to world conditions nonetheless.
    Thanks again.

Most people are quite delusional when it comes to our economy. If we look at our own personal economy, are we better off after doubling personal debt from $10,000 to $20,000, taking $25,000 out of our home equity, losing the 15 years of payments, and starting all over with a thirty year mortgage. Some have run up so much student debt that there is no end in sight, but has it produced that high paying job. When we make horrible personal financial decisions, how can we even begin to understand or care about the overall economic condition of our country, or perhaps globally. It starts with personal responsibility, and we have failed overall in that area. How can we expect our government to be responsible when we turn a blind eye to our own failure. I don’t excuse their behavior one bit, those in charge of making financial decisions for this country have made a complete disaster of our economy, but we have allowed it and even re-elected the worst president on economic policy that we’ve ever had. Wake up America! If we are delusional on a personal level, how can we be in touch with the economic realities in our country today.

Hi!, Patrons Of The Economic Collapse Et. Al.:
Any attempts to stop the church as in past efforts will fail guaranteed and Easter will be celebrated as it has in the past, because He is risen and nothing can recreate that total reality can it reader? Gay marriage, immigration and abortion issues for example are merely distractions from the main body of TRUTH in my estimation and how about yours dear reader? Two things we can count on in this world in which we live: (1): Truth will prevail over lies and fabrications of hypocrisy and (2): no one has yet figured out a way to outwit the eternal, everlasting and universal intentional will of GOD as found in His Lord’s Prayer and NEVER will. We have His stated guarantee when Jesus stated once that “every plant which my Heavenly Father has not planted shall be rooted up!” and which entity or entities can reconstruct this arrangement which has been foreordained as immutable by His love for His children? Why even bother is my question and yours too dear reader; for when all is said and done He guarantees that every knee shall bow and every tongue (worldwide) shall confess Jesus as Lord and there’s no way around it as concepts and opinions are turned into realizations of His words of TRUTH which caused His disciples on day to ask HIM: “To whom else shall we go; for only YOU have the words of eternal life?”
