11 Predictions Of Economic Disaster In 2015 From Top Experts All Over The Globe

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

2015 - Public DomainWill 2015 be a year of financial crashes, economic chaos and the start of the next great worldwide depression?  Over the past couple of years, we have all watched as global financial bubbles have gotten larger and larger.  Despite predictions that they could burst at any time, they have just continued to expand.  But just like we witnessed in 2001 and 2008, all financial bubbles come to an end at some point, and when they do implode the pain can be extreme.  Personally, I am entirely convinced that the financial markets are more primed for a financial collapse now than they have been at any other time since the last crisis happened nearly seven years ago.  And I am certainly not alone.  At this point, the warning cries have become a deafening roar as a whole host of prominent voices have stepped forward to sound the alarm.  The following are 11 predictions of economic disaster in 2015 from top experts all over the globe…

#1 Bill Fleckenstein: “They are trying to make the stock market go up and drag the economy along with it. It’s not going to work. There’s going to be a big accident. When people realize that it’s all a charade, the dollar will tank, the stock market will tank, and hopefully bond markets will tank. Gold will rally in that period of time because it’s done what it’s done because people have assumed complete infallibility on the part of the central bankers.”

#2 John Ficenec: “In the US, Professor Robert Shiller’s cyclically adjusted price earnings ratio – or Shiller CAPE – for the S&P 500 is currently at 27.2, some 64pc above the historic average of 16.6. On only three occasions since 1882 has it been higher – in 1929, 2000 and 2007.”

#3 Ambrose Evans-Pritchard, one of the most respected economic journalists on the entire planet: “The eurozone will be in deflation by February, forlornly trying to ignite its damp wood by rubbing stones. Real interest rates will ratchet higher. The debt load will continue to rise at a faster pace than nominal GDP across Club Med. The region will sink deeper into a compound interest trap.”

#4 The Jerome Levy Forecasting Center, which correctly predicted the bursting of the subprime mortgage bubble in 2007: “Clearly the direction of most of the recent global economic news suggests movement toward a 2015 downturn.”

#5 Paul Craig Roberts: “At any time the Western house of cards could collapse. It (the financial system) is a house of cards. There are no economic fundamentals that support stock prices — the Dow Jones. There are no economic fundamentals that support the strong dollar…”

#6 David Tice: “I have the same kind of feel in ’98 and ’99; also ’05 and ’06.  This is going to end badly. I have every confidence in the world.”

#7 Liz Capo McCormick and Susanne Walker: “Get ready for a disastrous year for U.S. government bonds. That’s the message forecasters on Wall Street are sending.”

#8 Phoenix Capital Research: “Just about everything will be hit as well. Most of the ‘recovery’ of the last five years has been fueled by cheap borrowed Dollars. Now that the US Dollar has broken out of a multi-year range, you’re going to see more and more ‘risk assets’ (read: projects or investments fueled by borrowed Dollars) blow up. Oil is just the beginning, not a standalone story.

If things really pick up steam, there’s over $9 TRILLION worth of potential explosions waiting in the wings. Imagine if the entire economies of both Germany and Japan exploded and you’ve got a decent idea of the size of the potential impact on the financial system.”

#9 Rob Kirby: “What this breakdown in the crude oil price is going to spawn another financial crisis.  It will be tied to the junk debt that has been issued to finance the shale oil plays in North America.  It is reported to be in the area of half a trillion dollars worth of junk debt that is held largely on the books of large financial institutions in the western world.  When these bonds start to fail, they will jeopardize the future of these financial institutions.  I do believe that will be the signal for the Fed to come riding to the rescue with QE4.  I also think QE4 is likely going to be accompanied by bank bail-ins because we all know all western world countries have adopted bail-in legislation in their most recent budgets.  The financial elites are engineering the excuse for their next round of money printing . . .  and they will be confiscating money out of savings accounts and pension accounts.  That’s what I think is coming in the very near future.”

#10 John Ing: “The 2008 collapse was just a dress rehearsal compared to what the world is going to face this time around. This time we have governments which are even more highly leveraged than the private sector was.

So this time the collapse will be on a scale that is many magnitudes greater than what the world witnessed in 2008.”

#11 Gerald Celente: “What does the word confidence mean? Break it down. In this case confidence = con men and con game. That’s all it is. So people will lose confidence in the con men because they have already shown their cards. It’s a Ponzi scheme. So the con game is running out and they don’t have any more cards to play.

What are they going to do? They can’t raise interest rates. We saw what happened in the beginning of December when the equity markets started to unravel. So it will be a loss of confidence in the con game and the con game is soon coming to an end. That is when you are going to see panic on Wall Street and around the world.”

If you have been following my website, you know that I have been pointing to 2015 for quite some time now.

For example, in my article entitled “The Seven Year Cycle Of Economic Crashes That Everyone Is Talking About“, I discussed the pattern of financial crashes that we have witnessed every seven years that goes all the way back to the Great Depression.  The last two major stock market crashes began in 2001 and 2008, and now here we are seven years later.

Will the same pattern hold up once again?

In addition, there are many other economic cycles that seem to indicate that we are due for a major economic downturn.  I discussed quite a few of these theories in my article entitled “If Economic Cycle Theorists Are Correct, 2015 To 2020 Will Be Pure Hell For The United States“.

But just like in 2000 and 2007, there are a whole host of doubters that are fully convinced that the party can continue indefinitely.  Even though our economic fundamentals continue to get worse, our debt levels continue to grow and every objective measurement shows that Wall Street is more reckless and more vulnerable to collapse than ever before, they mock the idea that a financial collapse is imminent.

So let’s see what happens in 2015.

I have a feeling that it is going to be an extremely “interesting” year.

  • Tom Truther

2015 certainly looks ominous from an economic standpoint. However, when something begins in such a ridiculous fashion, there is no telling how ridiculous it can get. We have been awake so we know. But others, are so full of delusion at this point that they are oblivious to these signs and there is no telling how big the bubble will go. That being said, when it bursts, war, famine, disease, and death will follow.

  • Bill

There are two things that are extremely out of place. One is the stock market and the other is the dollar index. Any canary watching these is long ago deceased. The fact that two thirds of student families are receiving assistance of some sort and that we have 90 million who could work that are not, is enough to ensure our destruction.

The uncontained rise of the first two just don’t seem possible given the second two.

    • David Horace

Bond market is even more overvalued.

  • john

and what about the new iPhone 7? 🙂

  • Olivia

what can one do as a graduating high school student to prepare for this?

    • Bill

Avoid any debt even if it means no college for now. Find immediate employment. Read this blog religiously. Live independently as soon as you can afford it. Be happy with yourself.

    • Mike Smithy

Although the future looks bleak, I am not going to advocate that you live in a cave or curl up into the fetal position and wait to die. Decide what your interests are and try to learn a skill or two that is marketable or life sustaining should the fabric of society completely fall into chaos. Try to surround yourself with sensible like minded individuals and never lose sight of what is truly important: life, health, family, friends and god.

    • f16hoser

Stay out of debt as much as possible. Find like-minded friends who share your same concerns and collectively pool your ideas and resources should the worst come to pass. Have a plan on where to go and hunker-down. Perhaps think about learning a trade versus 4 years of college debt in a field that doesn’t pay much. America needs to relearn manufacturing skills again. Making coffee at Starbucks is not a skill…

      • Liberty First

I would agree with this 100%. College is mostly a waste. If you do go, I would work full-time and find a good commuter school in your area and learn about business.

    • Richard

FOR GOD’S SAKE, GET OUT OF THE UNITED STATES. For some reason, nobody wants to talk about this but this is the only reasonable option. There are plenty of wonderful countries that will welcome your expertise. Find one and go there. JUST DO IT.

      • ltn0720

So just were is this Utopia you proclaim that is outside the U.S.? Should you send the young lass to Europe? Unemployment in the EU is worse than the U.S. Perhaps you should direct Olivia to Asia. You know, where the Chinese build ghost cities to keep the economy going. Maybe India or Pakistan; those places are great for women. Canada might work. Their economy isn’t directly tied to the U.S. .
Sadly, the U.S. is still the greatest place to live. No where on Earth has a better standard of living, even for it’s “poor”. So, Olivia, don’t leave. Stay and do what you can to better yourself and those you interact with. Then you can branch out and better others. This country is going to need every helping hand it can get when the balloon goes up.

        • Matty

Come here to Australia, same lifestyle as US, English speaking country, great beaches, great landscape, part of the commonwealth, great economy, the list goes on! You might be surprised by the amount of Americans and Canadians that are over here, come to Newcastle in the state of New South Wales, 7th largest city in Australia. Most important thing is to have God on your side!

          • alan

Australia would be high on my list, I heard a few places in South America are good too. But you need money to move. Most countries don’t like broke people showing up.

          • Matty

True Alan, money is holding many people back, I suppose God will lead us to safety and provide for us in any circumstance! No country will escape the NWO and the beast system…..

          • New Zealand too… if you have the money. Chile has really good wine ! Uruguay, Colombian, Peru can be good choices (if you speak Spanish really well)… avoid Venezuela though…

          • Liberty First

New Zealand is great, but it is very, very expensive. More so than Australia. The temporary strong US dollar might help for a while.

          • Liberty First

South America is fairly inexpensive, but you need to do your research and learn at least intermediate Spanish. Get started!

          • Matty

True, my wife is Peruvian, and her family back home seem to doing ok, I am in the process of learning Spanish, if my daughter is going to learn it, then so am I, I don’t want them having conversations in front of me with me not being able understand them!!!

          • Lennie Pike

Or Portuguese. If you are able to learn to sidestep the most corrupt and criminal government in the world Brazil is a wonderful place to live. Find a small town in the country side and avoid the big cities.

          • Liberty First

We are working on this, the challenge is that the age limit is 50 and we will not yet be ready by that age. Shortly afterwards. I lived there for a year and love the country. Happy people, nature-oriented, natural wonders second to none. I also love that you actually believe in protecting your borders against illegal immigration. It shows a certain level of respect for citizens already living in the country legally.

          • Matty

Don’t worry Liberty First, I’m sure that you are well aware that the whole world will one day be subject to the NWO. Let’s get prepared and warn our friends and family, even though I’ve tried many times! The racism and anti immigration in Australia is always a hot topic, one thing that makes me wonder is the size of Australia in comparison to our population of about 23 million, compared to the slightly larger country of US with a population of say 325 million? Incredible, I hope that we all have Gods blessings.

          • Mike Smithy

I like Austrailia, I just don’t like your position on gun control. Same can be said for New Zealand. What about Tazmania?

          • Matty

Don’t worry, there’s plenty of rednecks here that hunt, fish and drink! Many people still own guns, but after the Port Arthur massacre in 1996 (in Tasmania) they tried to take everyone’s guns away. If you research that incident, you will see that it was a hoax (staged, it is worth researching) other than that Tasmania is a beautifully landscaped island, but bloody cold!

        • jox

Have you ever lived outside U.S.?

          • ltn0720

Yeah, I grew up in Sweden. Socialism sucks.

      • alan

        Grand kids!

    • CharlesH

Know God, He will provide the strength you will need.

      • Olivia

I love Jesus. He is my Lord and Savior.

And this is eternal life, that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.
        John 17:3

  • Liberty 4 Kids

New year, new prediction of economic disaster. And those who listened to the prophets of doom and gloom the last five years have missed out on the record stock market gains. Why should anyone listen to them now?

    • CharlesH
    • VigilanteCaregiver

Prepare for the worst – then invest and hope for the best. That’s why.

    • Marie

Yep, that’s EXACTLY how they want you to think. If you’ve got any gold or silver you’d like to unload so that you can buy stocks instead, hey, I’ll pay cash…

  • K

The timing of an economic crash, becomes almost impossible to predict. When you consider how rigged this economy is. So rather than use that method, let us look at this from a different angle. The Government has been preparing for some kind of major event. Massive supplies of ammo, food, and medical supplies, have been stockpiled over the last few years. Weapons of war have been passed out to local police. So perhaps the best way to predict the timing. Is to ask, how many more steps does the Government need to take? They are currently purchasing survival gear for bank examiners. All things considered, I would say they are pretty much done. All that is left, is a triggering event, to start the ball rolling.

    • Max

Could not have articulated it better myself. All of what you mentioned that “they” have been doing in preparation I have witnessed since at least 2009 (coincidentally right after the crash). When I mention these factual events “they” have taken part in, I to ask people: “What steps are left?”. We just got through the holiday retail season, we got to see the ball drop (pun intended) on NYE and everybody returns to work this morning (those lucky enough to still be gainfully employed). We are now at the waiting period for the triggering event that is to occur very soon; when the *real* ball drops.

    • Fireplace 1

Very observant. The banks made a big push to shove credit card debt down our throats to pump up the shopping season in an effort to keep the party going for awhile longer too.

    • T.

The “Triggering Event” has already happened. The Global Banking Cabal (Rothschilds) have driven the price of oil down 50% in three months time. That is the triggering event that will Ripple throughout the whole Financial System. “The Fuse Has Been Lit”

      • Mike Smithy

Yes, perhaps this is the black swan triggering event that the arsonist banksters want and chose for the global NWO economic reset. The banksters got their bail-in legislation and I fear that very rough times are just around the corner for the muppets.

        • T.

Jim Willie also thinks this is it, so I’m in very good company. He has had more right calls over the last 10 years than anybody except the one pulling the strings.

          • Mike Smithy

The destructor has been chosen and it’s not the “Sta-Puff Marshmallow Man”.

        • Gay Veteran

yes, and anybody with money in one of the Big Banks is a fool. move your money to a smaller bank or credit union

          • Jack Clancy

Maybe some money in the safe. I think ALL banks and credit unions will be included in the bail in. If it is not in YOUR possession, it belongs to another.

          • Gay Veteran

good point, and don’t leave gold in a bank’s safety deposit box!

          • Jack Clancy

You are correct. You will not have access to the bank. Guns and ammo are a given.

          • Tracie

            Purchase gold now…

          • Gay Veteran

            and silver, but only coins

      • K

Oil could be the triggering event. The market as I post this is down 299.5. I believe the market will have to decline far enough, to start a panic. It will be this panic, the Government will use as an excuse to act. If possible, they would prefer the initial roll out during extreme weather. No better way to control a city, than a few feet of snow. Especially, if you have taken control of the snow plows.

        • T.

K – I really think the Real destruction in the Financial Markets are a few months away (after the winter). As the IMPLOSION of the oil price goes from Destruction of one Financial Instrument to Another – Because they are all interconnected worldwide. The Detruction will Grow and GRow and GROw and GROW – Until the Grand Finale (Sep/Oct) 2015.

      • Mike Adams

Not all trolps all bad. Are thay same or lame?

    • Rob

Well, for most but let me encourage you to watch you tube presentations from Jonathan Cahn and Mark Biltz – both messianic Jews who refer to the Hebrew calendar for such events. The end of the Shemitah year is 13 September (markets will close on 9-11). The financial collapse isn’t all you’re going to have to worry about. The time of this nation’s hedonistic decadence is going to bring about a judgement the world has never before witnessed.

      • Gay Veteran

      • Lone Star State Mama

Thanks for sharing this. I appreciate it.

        • Rob

Anytime, girl (Daughter and granddaughter in Austin — have lived in Austin, Kerrville, Trophy Club, and Southlake)! GOD bless Texas!

          • Lone Star State Mama

Amen. We live in the Panhandle. I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else. This is home for sure, at least this side if Heaven!

I wanted to add I watched several videos with Mark Biltz and John Cahn. I’ve read his book but the videos are awesome. Looking forward to this year to see what comes!

      • Lori

There was an economic collapse after 911 in 2001, the one following was 7 yrs later in 2008, the next one will be in 2015 – each is 7 yrs apart all being a sabbatical year. We’ve been warned and everything is in motion headed toward the One World Government, One world monetary system and the one world religion …. it won’t be long before the Lord removes His church from the earth. We just need to take as many with us as possible.

    • snowmobilejer

I never thought of it that way. Very interesting. Scary.

    • MARY

Jade Helm in July, a practice drill? Like the coincidental practice terrorist drill they had on 9-11 or the London bombing drill on the same day the subway trains exploded?
Fantasy can quickly become reality when the NWO masters set the stage for America’s brainwashed, programmed sheeple.

  • T.

The really sad part of trying to determine the year it all collapses is that only a relatively small percentage of the population is even “Aware” that America has a gigantic financial and economic CRISIS looming. This fact alone is what will be so Devastating to the nation. Why? The vast majority will be TOTALLY blindsided when this Monster hits.

    • alan

People that have lost their homes and are homeless the collapse has come already.

      • Judy Houser

  • Klaus Rosenkrauss

These are the most likely scenarios that should be taken in consideration prior and during the collapse of the US economy:
    – A new military conflict involving US forces: the ongoing events in Ukraine may force the intervention of NATO in the coming months. Let’s not forget that the US Government has already committed an Act of Aggression against the Russian Federation by making into law the Ukraine Freedom Support Act of 2014 and Obama’s Executive Order 13685. Under International Law, Russia is entitled to retaliate with of all conceivable means available at their disposition, including the military option (UN Charter, Chapter VII, Article 51).
    – Certainly the US dollar is losing its privileged status as the world’s reserve currency, to be replaced either by IMF’s Special Drawing Rights and/or China’s Yuan…the consequences of such outcome will be totally devastating for the American economy.
    – A massive social unrest within United States territories due to worsening economic conditions (ordinary Americans witnessing their purchasing power being destroyed due to hyperinflation, rampant unemployment, etc).
    – Domestic insurrection: the recent killings of NYPD officers at the hands of an individual that advocated disturbing views against the organized establishment…everybody should wonder, how many people in the United States share the same ideology and are willing (and ready) to challenge the Sovereign.

    • MadAsHellYankee

I only disagree with your last two points, because most of the people with firearms are conservatives and they worship the police. They will turn theirs in, mark my words. Not that I think you’re incorrect about the fact we have low level racial warfare here, or that people are fundamentally angry. But there is no cohesion, or logic, or strategy.. in fact it’s more like a sick football game, where you either love the looters, or love the cops. Neither one is on my team.

      • Lone Star State Mama

I don’t think it is fair to say conservatives worship the police. Some of us believe there are good police while acknowledging that the police are becoming more of a soldier against the American people. I think it is as with anything, there are Freedom loving police and there are thuggish police. I certainly appreciate knowing there is someone to call if I need help, even if it takes them minutes to get here.

        • MadAsHellYankee

You may acknowledge their increasingly “paramilitary” role vs the citizenry… most conservatives do not. It’s insane, you know? The crazy lefties think the looters are the coolest thing and the righties are ready to worship the cops.. everyone is falling for it big time.

  • rentslave

Hopefully, housing prices will fall to 1983 levels.I’ve been paying rent since 1974.It’s about time I got a break.

    • I have been paying rent since 1921 and hope to buy a house this year….

      • Lennie Pike

Buy a bluewater sailboat instead of that house which is susceptible to visits from U.N. troops, and load it down with rice and beans, vitamin C, a water maker, and fishing gear.
Now you can watch with the rest of the ships captains out in the middle of the ocean as the smoke arises from Babylon. Sorry to be so real, but now is the time to sound the alarm. God bless.

        • Lennie Pike

It will buy you a little more time – which is always nice to have.

  • VigilanteCaregiver

The experts are fine and all, but what are the consequences.

Well, here it is: there’s been several suicides in our area since New Year’s and in my wife’s family also. Funerals to last a while. And they all left young children and grieving spouses behind. The latest one was my wife’s older brother 2 days ago – tied a bag filled with kerosene over his head.

Need to keep perspective as to why we should be wary of these predictions. Our children may be young and only inherent rubble, but they’ll have the ability to rebuild and hopefully begin anew. We need to do our best for them, and we need to be here to do it.

    God rest their souls.

    • Tim

      I’m so sorry.

      • VigilanteCaregiver

        Thanks Tim

    • Mondobeyondo

That is so sad. You absolutely have to keep perspective. Yes, money is important, but if you allow it to become all consuming, it will destroy you.

      • VigilanteCaregiver

Very true, Mondo. In all these stories and debates perspectives must never be lost. This is about real lives, real people, and that can sometimes be forgotten when politics comes in.

    • Lone Star State Mama

      So sorry for your loss.

    • David Horace

My father cared only about money. He died a miserable, lonely, old man.

Thanks for sharing your story, VC. I will pray for your family.

  • Reality_Seeker

Once upon a time there was a boy who cried, “wolf”.

And once upon a time in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 and now 2015 there was a group of boys crying, “Economic Disaster”!!!

One of these days they”ll get it right, but by that time nobody’s gonna listen because they’re losing credibility. In fact, people are starting to snicker.

Personally, I’m glad they got it wrong. And I think they have way underestimated America’s ability to muddle through the economic swamp. This economic crap could go on for years before the world comes to an end.

    • Bryce Ward

Funny thing that you mention the “Boy who cried wolf” story. Because if you remember correctly, the wolf in that story actually did eventually show up….

      • alan

This is a long term event and will take years to unravel. As long as you watch CNBC happy days are here. Come down to the South to see real economic disaster..

        • Guest

I live in the South, and things are pretty good in my area. Where exactly are you?

          • I know lots of people in Fla. who are unemployed or underemployed and having a hard time of it…

          • Gay Veteran

my family is in nw Tennessee, things are bad there

    • Lone Star State Mama

I want to believe we can get through this but I think the next 10 years are going to be the beginning of the end.

  • Michael Dubin

Many of these same people have predicted collapse in the last 5 years, and they have all been wrong. The mistake they all make is trying to use facts, logic, and economic principles when everything is rigged. It’s like trying to predict the outcome of a rigged game. Stocks, interest rates, gold and silver prices, Libor, Forex, and every economic statistic is rigged. The system will collapse when those that control it decide to let it collapse.

    • Mike Smithy

Bingo. You get a gold star.

Like when the Messiah leaves office?

    • Douglas M. Green

Not when they let it collapse, but when they lose control. When confidence is lost and panic sets in.

      • K2

My thoughts exactly. But i am not sure about the timing. It could be this year or the next.

        • Douglas M. Green

Absolutely it can happen any time. There are so many factors and the system is more fragile by the day. I just know that TPTB will do whatever they can to cobble it together for as long as possible before they lose control. Be prepared now and keep an eye on it. But enjoy life too in the meantime. Time is precious.

          • T.

Douglas, They do not plan to “Lose Control” as you say. Their PLAN is to maintain Control and to Engineer a Collapse at a time of Their Choosing – Using a “Triggering Event” of Their Choice. The Triggering Event has been chosen – They Crashed the oil price by 50% in three months time. That will over time (a few months) have catastrophic consequences throughout all the Financial Markets of the World. Out of the CHAOS that ensues – The Banksters will see Their CONTROL increase exponentially. We are looking at a Controlled Demolition of the Old Order so that a NWO can be installed by the same Evil that presently Controls the OLD.

          • Douglas M. Green

That is plausible, that they know it will collapse and manage the collapse to their benefit instead of propping it up until they lose control. Either way this sucker is coming down one way or the other. The next crisis is too big for the fed and will undermine confidence in fiat currency.

          • T.

Yes. This is ALL orchestrated out of the “City of London” “House of Rothschild”. Everything has been Planned very meticulously.

That’s right! Could the short depression of 1921 be the crash of 2008, and 2015-16 correspond to the Depression of 1929? Funny how we don’t call them depressions anymore, just great recessions. Who are they trying to fool?

          • shropster

The depression of 1921 was short because of Harding and Coolidge. Politicians like them died out with Taft.

          • Lone Star State Mama

I had no considered this before. I hope you are wrong. I really do. There is still so much to prepare for…

      • Mike Smithy

I don’t believe that the banksters can artificially levitate the economy forever. With the advent of multiple bubbles, it’s like juggling chainsaws. The key for the banksters is to fabricate a black swan event that will provide separation and plausible deniability that their Keynesian shenanigans actually caused the mess. When it time to pull the plug, it’s all about timing for the controlled demolition of the economy.

        • Nick

America is THE black swan event. The only thing we have going for us that no other country has that gives us some semblance of hope is the 2nd amendment and gun loving Americans armed to the teeth. The only thing that will save America is ironically to destroy it. Balkanize the entire country. Send all the politicians and bankers to NYC and DC. Split up the rest of the country. kick every Mexican and Muslim back down to El Paso and San Diego. New capital for true Americans will be PacWest/NorCal/ east across to the Miss. River. Blacks and whoever else can have the south and all the libtards can move into the NY area.

          • Joeseph

…So now only whites are ‘true Americans?’ What kind of Inbred KKK redneck racist tripe is this?

          • Lone Star State Mama

Yeah, I’m going to keep my Texas. I’m pretty sure you are going to have a hard time convincing others who love their land to do as you are suggesting. I suggest you make peace with the people of this land. And how did you come to the conclusion that Muslims and Mexican should live together? What a inane comment.

        • Mike Adams

Why would you crout like some kind of bdenesthing?

    • MadAsHellYankee

I used to be of that opinion, however this currency war with Russia has gone to a whole new level. Due to the fact Russia’s main energy customers are countries like India, China, etc and not Europe like the arrogant US mass media would have you believe… these games we’re playing with them will backfire and take out the dollar with it. The Saudi’s want oil at $60 a barrel. Russia can survive with oil at $40, however the Marcellus shale and the other oil in the US is already starting to die at under $60 a barrel. So, the only economic growth in the country just got cut off at the knees in the bankers zeal to hurt Russia because they didn’t get their way in Ukraine and Syria.

      • Badger19

Interesting because we have unnecessarily provoked Russia on its own land borders to pursue internationalist one world visions of community. However, does Russia actually have that much world economic impact?

        • MadAsHellYankee

Considering who their customers are, and the fact that BRICS is actually 105 countries and countries have already set up the infrastructure to commerce without the dollar… yep. It’s not just one factor, it’s several.

          • Badger19

            Thanks for the info.

        • T.

Yes. Russia Does have that much world impact, especially concerning oil/gas for Europe and when one considers Russia&China are working as ONE.

      • jsmith

Yes, whenever you have an action there will be a reaction. Our government didn’t logically understand that by trying to hurt Russia with sanctions and conspiring with Saudi Arabia to lower gasoline prices, we in the long run would be hurting our shale oil industry and our economy as well as Europe’s. You understand this, but our Congress and president don’t. Could they be so dumb, or is this the plan?

        • shropster

You nailed it at the end of your post. It IS the plan. I hate to say this, but the economic destruction of the US is seen as necessary for the one world government Rothschild & Co. want.

    • Badger19

I like your point because we ARE WHERE WE HAVE NEVER BEEN BEFORE.

      • Mondobeyondo

Yes, just like the opening words of the original “Star Trek” TV series. We’re going where no, um, nation has gone before. Not even the Roman Empire.

    • FortuneSeek3rz

There will be recessions and pullbacks but the U.S. economy will never “collapse”. The world needs a strong American economy is global leaders are acutely aware of that. Also America has a vast amount of natural resources and intellectual property. The wealth contained within her borders will keep the country buoyant for generations to come.

      • Nick

Who do you think owns the vast majority of resources in this country genius? Handful of rich families and .gov. Look at the state of OR! 80% of that state’s forests are owned by private and gov interests. So how will that benefit the middle class? It won’t! America doesn’t need more mindless tax paying jobs. We need wealth creation in the form of average Americans receiving real capital like stocks, bonds, land, real estate. Every child born in this country deserves 5-10 acres of land to eventually do with what he wants at the age of 18. Every child born gets a government bond worth so much by the time they are 18. Every child born gets a % of all the profit extracted from the country’s natural resources either by the gov or in the form of stock options in companies like Exxon etc.

        • FortuneSeek3rz

The average income of the American household ranks #4 in the world. So yes, there are people with enough wealth to make it outside of the 1%.

        • eldon johansen

There isn’t .25 acres of land left per person on the planet.

    • Mondobeyondo

The timetable is difficult, if not impossible, to predict with any certainty. But it’s undeniable that a collapse is going to happen.

    • T.

THEY have “Decided”. The System is in process of Collapse.

    • Lennie Pike

And we should not use what ever type of money they have in store for us to use. There are ways around it. We can use OUR! money – not theirs, and take away any power they think they may have. For this to occur we will need good men as leaders with the military might to back them. Wake up!!!! U.S. Military!!!!! These men are out there and will make their appearance at the appropriate time. The only question is – has the world’s population become sufficently dumbed down, brainwashed. drugged and morally defiled to the extent where the good guys will be totally ignored? Soon, we shall find out.

    • Enrique R. DéZuardí

Thats what i been saying since 2009.

Not yet, a few more years, things are heating up though.

I really think we are headed to a Hunger Games like country. A few well off cities and zones, mostly east and west coast cities. The rest of the country will be a disaster.

As long as you watch CNBC everything is fine, just don’t go outside and see the truth.

    • Scared Economist

I think you have it backwards…… the East & West coast cities could explode into riots, looting and mayhem. The more conservative, self-sufficient middle ground will be the safe bet.

  • DJohn1

There are things one can do something about. There are also things that no one has any control over. This article describes the second type of crisis.

Average people have no control over the economy.
In 2016 we will have new leaders including a President. That is going to happen.
The problem is that no one is prepared to fix what is going on.
Both parties in power appear to have no clue as to how to handle a depression that has already begun.
So the question becomes, how do we get these politicians to address the real issues facing all of us? I see a lot of politicians making a lot of noise with their mouths and when they are done we know absolutely nothing about what their real agendas might be.

When the parasites consume the host, they either move on or they die with the host. Both options appear to be available.
Financially the trend has been moving west across the globe.
Our parasite is the millions of people dependent on us to stay fed in both India and China. We are the host.
So what happens when the host financially dies?
What happens when all those people begin to starve?
The reason that the dollar has survived this long is everyone has dollars to spend. This is our foreign aid program at its best.
But if the dollar is more confederate money than real money?
Then we have the crash described above.
Then we have everyone trying to move to a stable currency like diamonds and gold. But both commodities are not capable of working as a currency. There simply is not enough of either commodity to go around.
The other solution is to re-organize an economy from scratch.
To do that, someone has to know exactly what it will take and do it. I do not know anyone with that kind of capability in the United States leadership.
Nature is a cruel mistress. When the struggle ends there will be a lot of people no longer with us.
We are looking at trillions of dollars worth of debt.
The only true solution is going to bust the currency.
It has happened in other places on a much smaller scale.
I remember South Korea in the 1960s. I remember Great Britain in the 1970s.

Now who owns more dollars than anyone else and has the most to lose? Because those are the people that have to come up with something to save the dollar or not. I suggest the Saudi Arabs probably have more to lose than anyone else.
Which would explain the sudden drop in oil prices.
If I wanted to pump up a currency that would be one of my first choices. Push a lot of money into the average man’s pockets at Christmas time. This might even work. Because the one problem all those rich people do not see is that the average person has to have money to spend in order for the flywheel of the economy to work. Then I would quietly start moving assets away from the dollar.

What is the biggest financial mistake in history? It has to be taking away the discretionary income of the average person with a health care system forced upon the public. And that is exactly what Obamacare is. It has to have cut 40% or more from the average person out there.
Who did it? We all know the answer to that. So do the people that threw them out of office in the last election.
If the people that were put in do not wake up and do something to stop how things are now, they too will be tossed out of office at the next election.

“…Both parties in power appear to have no clue as to how to handle a depression that has already begun….”

partly because their policies caused the depression

      • DJohn1

        I agree with you.

  • AzDi

So, what happens if the Feds do a QE4 and continue that way…. just keep pushing the inevitable? Any input would be welcome because I am just wondering how long they will keep doing this.

We need to stop this but they just seem to want to keep it going!

Would dearly appreciate a careful differential analysis relating to the Armstrong-Dent models that see the US and the dollar standing strong after a global currency transient. Armstrong’s charts are as valid in their own domain as, for instance, Michael Maloney’s opposing view on the nature of real money, metal and commodities. Summarily stating that the A-D models are full of baloney won’t do, as they have very good points. My concern is that the entire alternative press is beating their individual drums separately, producing no truly useful analysis. Also, the costly analysts’ journals may not necessarily be any better, for similar reasons. Until we distill real answers from opposing models based on valid factors, all we have is the fun of writing sophomoric reports and temporary illusions of information. Armstrong’s model of intrinsic dollar stability and against metals is equally entrenched as a title such as “Economic Collapse,” and with all due respect, the answer is a complex vector in time and various uncertainties and their chaotic results. All scenarios may play out in time and we need to estimate those timeframes.

  • LowellST13

It is hard to know when, but not if, the players, can not withstand the beast that is coming. Manipulation of the economy is almost assuredly ending. The Central Banks are not going to be able to stop it. Be watchful. I pray that the Citizens of the world, will not follow history and be a destructive force, we will need to work together to survive.

  • Nick

And you think Hawks like McCain give a crap? That senile old dog is still living in the 60’s! Smartest move the US ever could have done is make allies with Russia against China and the Middle East and get us offf desert oil. We need a country like Russia a lot more than they need us. 35 years old and I’m disgusted and ashamed to call myself an American. But where else you gonna go? We’ve destroyed and plundered and pillaged about every corner of the earth with our monetary and foreign policies.

  • sharonsj

Ten years ago, my prescription for Celebrex cost $3 a pill. Today the pharmacist told me it would cost $9 a pill. That’s a 200% increase. If anybody’s income has gone up 200% in the last decade, please let me know and I will immediately apply for your job. Meanwhile, like most folks, I’m trying to decide between medicine and the electric bill. If there is another economic collapse, I would expect rioting in the streets and hopefully a few bankers hanging from lamp posts.

    • shropster

As one of the leading causes of death is by prescription drugs, pay the electric bill.

  • Mondobeyondo

It may already be starting. The Dow Jones did its Stuka dive bomber impersonation today. That was mainly due to nosediving (yes, pun intended) oil and energy stocks. If it continues, our economy is headed for rough waters, with lots of icebergs. I hope and pray that Captain Obama is up to the task.

2015 may be make or break for the economy. Right now, all the signs are pointing to “break”.

  • antonio

Out of all the comments here I didn’t see one that stated who really is in control of all this, God. You see when God allows the evil intent of men hearts to do wicked things, we know Jesus return draws nigh.

Don’t put your trust in metals and other material wealth, you better seek God’s face while you can because things will be so bad nothing you own will protect you from the wickedness coming on this earth, nothing except God.

I think GOD is telling us – WE had better do something.

      • Jay

Well jake, actually God does do home deliveries. In fact He brings rain and sunshine right to the doors of billions of people each and every day. Many of those people continue to deny that He exists because they are too proud to bow before Him. They actually believe that they don’t need God because they want to continue in pride.

Not too economically minutia astute but as I see it, its relatively simple. If my household was running debt and living on credit every month for the past 20 years and its only exponentially increasing –
I would be thinking they are going to shut down my line of credit and ask me to pay my bills?

  • Lennie Pike

How come we couldn’t hear from Paul Krugman. It would be nice to have an entire article dedicated to his quotes so that people will be aware of him when it is obvious that they have run out of time and the jig is up for all of these satanic liars. They all bow down to the liar in chief – the devil – by the way. Soon we all will know (but only a few that frequent this site) that this is what this is all about – the battle for souls.

I believe that turn the other cheek never applied to satan or his people.

The time has arrived – I’m pretty sure of it also – best discussion ever on this site.

All of this is in the Bible (the scriptures). All you have to do is cry out to YESHUA MESSIAH to come into your heart, forgive you of your sins, wash you clean, and be reconciled to YAHWEH our GOD, then the Ruach HaKodesh (HOLY SPIRIT) will come and teach you the truth. For those that have accepted MESSIAH YESHUA into their hearts, they understand the severity of these times–and time is extremely short. I beg all to seek YESHUA MESSIAH who have not before the time runs out. Please. HE alone is the WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE, and there is no other way to the FATHER except by and through HIM alone.

What has kept the dollar afloat and trading high is our willingness to loan it out cheap to everyone that will take it and now it is in every country’s best interests to see that it stays strong or we all go down, this includes the IMF. With backers like these it would take other nations that are strong and do not have a big dollar exposure to take it out but even china is holding on to our debt so chances are slim the dollar losses much value, but china and russia are doing thier best to get away from the dollar but haven’t yet, so we are good for now.

I’m an automotive person and if you study the ebb and flow of the auto and medium duty truck markets you an predict what will be going on. Medium duty truck sales will lead the flow as businesses react to subtle changes in their outlook. Conversely, businesses will reduce their purchases of medium duty trucks usually 1-2 years before the consumer sees the economy slow down. These ebbs and flows also run in a 7 year time frame. I reviewed 40 years of data and found that all purchases of vehicles follow this time frame and have done so regardless of what is happening in the economy, the world, war or no war. It’s a very dependable tool.
