12 Signs That Russia Is Ready To Fight A War Over Crimea

Russian Military VehiclesRussia will never, ever give up Crimea without a fight.  Anyone that thinks otherwise is just being delusional.  The Russian Black Sea fleet’s main base at Sevastopol is far too strategically important.  In addition, ethnic Russians make up approximately 60 percent of the population of Crimea, and most of the population is rabidly pro-Russian.  In fact, many prominent Crimean politicians are already calling for reunification with Russia.  So if you have been thinking that Russia is just going to fold up shop and go home now that pro-European protesters have violently seized power in Kiev, you can quit holding your breath.  The truth is that Russia is more than willing to fight a war over Crimea.  And considering the fact that vitally important pipelines that pump natural gas from Russia to the rest of Europe go right through Ukraine, it is not likely that Russia will just willingly hand the rest of Ukraine over to the U.S. and the EU either.  If the U.S. and the EU push too hard in Ukraine, a major regional war may erupt which could ultimately lead to something much larger.

Russia and Ukraine have very deep historical ties.  Most Americans may not think that Ukraine is very important, but the Russians consider Ukraine to be of the utmost strategic importance.

As an American, how would you feel if another nation funded and organized the violent overthrow of the democratically-elected Canadian government and replaced it with a government that was virulently anti-American?

By doing this to Ukraine, the United States and the EU are essentially sticking a pin in Russia’s eye.  Needless to say, Russia is extremely angry at this point and they are gearing up for war.

The following are 12 signs that Russia is ready to fight a war over Crimea…

#1 More Russian military vehicles continue to pour into Crimea.  Just check out this video.

#2 Russian military vehicles have been photographed in the main square of Sevastopol.

#3 Russian military jets near the border with Ukraine have been put on combat alert.

#4 Russia has ordered “surprise military exercises” along the Ukrainian border.

#5 In connection with those “exercises”, it is being reported that Russia has deployed 150,000 troops along the border with Ukraine.

#6 Russia already has approximately 26,000 troops stationed at their naval base in Sevastopol.

#7 Russian ships carrying additional soldiers have been spotted off the coast of Crimea…

Russia’s large landing ship Nikolai Filchenkov has arrived near the Russia Black Sea Fleet’s base at Sevastopol, which Russia has leased from Ukraine since the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991.

The ship is reported to be carrying as many as 200 soldiers and has joined four additional ships carrying an unknown amount of Special Forces troops. Flot.com also reported over the weekend that personnel from the 45th Airborne Special Forces unit and additional divisions had been airlifted into Anapa, a city on Russia’s Black Sea coastline.

#8 Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu made the following statement to reporters on Wednesday…

“Measures are taken to guarantee the security of our facilities.”

#9 An unidentified Russian official has told the Financial Times that Russia is willing to use military force to protect Crimea…

Moscow earlier revealed that it would be ready to go for war over the Crimea region in order to protect the large population and army installations.

“If Ukraine breaks apart, it will trigger a war. They will lose Crimea first [because] we will go in and protect [it], just as we did in Georgia,” an unidentified Russian official told the Financial Times.

#10 Officials in Sevastopol have “installed” a Russian citizen as mayor of the city.

#11 Approximately 120 pro-Russian gunmen have seized the Crimean parliament building and have raised the Russian flag.

#12 There are rumors that Russian authorities have offered protection to ousted Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych…

Viktor F. Yanukovych, the ousted president of Ukraine, declared on Thursday that he remained the lawful president of the country and appealed to Russia to “secure my personal safety from the actions of extremists.” Russian news agencies reported that he had already arrived in Russia, but officials did not immediately confirm that.

No matter what the “new government” in Kiev says, and no matter how hard the U.S. and the EU push, Russia will never give up Crimea.  The following is what a recent Debka article had to say about the matter…

There is no way that President Vladimir Putin will relinquish Russian control of the Crimean peninsula and its military bases there – or more particularly the big Black Sea naval base at Sevastopol. This military stronghold is the key to Russia’s Middle East policy. If it is imperiled, so too are Russia’s military posture in Syria and its strategic understandings with Iran.

And you know what?

The people of Crimea do not want Russia to leave either.  In fact, they overwhelmingly want Russia to help defend them against the “new government” in Kiev.

As you read this, militia groups are being formed in Crimea to fight back against the “nationalist invasion” that they are anticipating.  Just check out the following excerpt from a recent Time Magazine article

Many of the people at the rally in Sevastopol were not just ready to believe. They were convinced of the imminent nationalist invasion. What scared them most were the right-wing political parties and militant groups that have played a role in Ukraine’s revolution. “What do you think they’re going to do with all those weapons they seized from police in Kiev? They’re going to come here and make war,” said Sergei Bochenko, who identified himself as the commander of a local militia group in Sevastopol called the Southern Russian Cossack Battalion.

In preparation, he said, his group of several hundred men had armed themselves with assault rifles and begun to train for battle. “There’s not a chance in hell we’re going to accept the rule of that fascist scum running around in Kiev with swastikas,” he said. That may be overstating the case. Nowhere in Ukraine has the uprising involved neo-Nazi groups, and no swastikas have appeared on the revolution’s insignia. But every one of the dozen or so people TIME spoke to in Sevastopol was certain that the revolt was run by fascists, most likely on the payroll of the U.S. State Department.

And just remember what happened back in 2008 in South Ossetia and Abkhazia.  The Russians have already shown that they are not afraid to militarily intervene in order to protect Russian citizens.

So what would the U.S. and the EU do if a war erupts between Russia and Ukraine?

Would they risk a direct military confrontation with Russia in order to help Ukraine?

I am very concerned about where all of this could be heading.

What about you?

What do you think?

Keeps me wondering which nations will be part of the “New World Order”? All members of the security council or will the security council absorb all nations under the agenda? Ukraine is a pawn in a larger picture.
    Time to leave the planet….

  • K

Let me add number 13. Russia is not going to allow a neighbor to go fascist. It seems that particular group has become very active in the Ukraine.

  • Kim

Isn’t Crimea an independent state? If the way to cede autonomy to Russia, why can’t they? Ukraine can’t fight Russia.

    • Guest

Crimea is an autonomous part of Ukraine. When the Soviet Union collapsed, Crimea became part of the newly independent Ukraine. Crimea is governed by its own constitution, in accordance with the laws of Ukraine.

      • Kim

Thanks for the clarification. It looks like the Ukraine is going to be divided (east/west Ukraine) into two separate nations.

I can’t possibly imagine what pretext the EU or US will invent to forcefully maintain a united Ukraine–

Not that I am on Russia’s side, but the Ukraine is no match for the sophisticated Russian military, and if this is what Crimea wants, so be it. I also read Crimea is asking for protection of the Ukraineian nationalists, so this appears to be an open and shut case. These poor people- used as pawns in a big game. All they want is food for their families, good jobs and education.

    • Mondobeyondo

Crimea is a southern peninsula, on the Black Sea, which borders Russia to the east. It is not an independent state, it is part of Ukraine.

      • Gay Veteran

Crimea was “given” to Ukraine by the USSR, it is still Russian

  • Jane OfVirginia

Russia has paid down its debts, and has been building its military while we dismantled ours and discontinued giving them breakfast. There is also a great resurgence of national pride in Russia. There is the perception within Russia that the Russian citizens in the Crimea deserve their protection and this is the way they are approaching this issue. I have no doubt that they would fight if the opportunity avails itself.
Barack Hussein Obama is no match for Mr. Putin and Mr. Medvedev. BHO has been too busy dismantling our nation to care about anyone elses.

    • ItIsWell

I’m not concerned. BO will just make pretty speeches about red lines and then he will back down. Putin knows Obama is a weenie . BO will have to have other countries willing to war against Russia before he will step out. That’s my take on it anyways .

      • hhabana

Why would you even want to go to war with Russia over Ukraine? It’s an internal issue and if Mexico was having a civil war you wouldn’t Russia meddling in their affairs either. Worry about the financial and morally bankrupt country you live in: the U.S!

        • ItIsWell

I don’t want to go to war and I never insinuated that. My point is BO is a wimp so everyone should quit worrying.

          • Gay Veteran

            BO isn’t in charge

          • the one

            Exactly…

            Acts 17:26

            Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

21 The king’s heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

King James Version of Hebrews 11:3.

Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

This is God’s purpose in creating mankind….

            Acts 17:26b-27

            WOW)………….
having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation,
            27
that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us;…

            (…seek God,)

          • ItIsWell

Anyways! As predicted Obama is making his speech. At least be hasn’t used the red line yet.
Reuters….We are now deeply concerned by reports of military movements taken by the Russian Federation inside of Ukraine,” he told reporters at the White House.
“Any violation of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity would be deeply destabilizing,” he said in a brief appearance. “The United States will stand with the international community in affirming that there will be costs for any military intervention in Ukraine.”

          • Gay Veteran

I’m more worried about the psychopaths that control him

        • jaxon64

Your reading comprehension is poor..I never once read anywhere in his post where he advocated war or even wanted Obama to stand up to Putin and fight. The point is, Kerry and Obama ( and many others from both parties) huff and puff, rattle sabres and make threatening rhetoric but everybody ( especially Putin) knows that they have about as much balls as gay vet, billie jean king or any other of the LBGT types they act like and represent..
They need to learn to just shut up and quit thinking they are going to get away with starting this crap–because nobody is buying the tough guy talk from “The First Gay President” as he sits with his legs crossed at the knees or is loving it up with his liuttle hollywood boyfriend..
PS: I’ve seen pictures of Obama snuggling up and holding hands with his Pakistani college roommate–but maybe the guy was really from a turkish bath–or maybe he’s Greek??

          • ItIsWell

If you can truly go back and read yourself you will see that I do not believe Obama will advocate for war but instead draw imaginary lines that doesn’t mean anything. BO is a wimp and yes I agree a sodomite as well.

          • Gay Veteran

sodomite? what is this, the 13th century?

          • jaxon64

if you’ll re-read then you will see I was defending your viewpoint and my comment was directed at habana..not you….

          • ItIsWell

            My bad

          • Gay Veteran

            tough talk coming a troll

          • Gay Veteran

“…everybody ( especially Putin) knows that they have about as much balls as gay vet….”
            they’re in your sister’s mouth

      • Mondobeyondo

I won’t go as far as to say Putin is a grandmaster at chess. But he knows how to play the game. Obama is still trying to figure out what moves the knight and bishop can make on the chessboard.

    • Priszilla

Russia has no beef with americans as long as they stay in america and dont invade russia on one of their democracy spreading missions.

    • Gay Veteran

      we dismantled our military???
gee, did the Pentagon’s bloated budget get massively cut???

      • Jane OfVirginia

Our government stopped serving breakfast to our active duty troops last year. Now, their families send them granola bars. They announced this week that the number of active duty military around the world will be cut. Veterans administration hospitals have cut some services. There are discussions under way concerning cutting former military pensions.

        • Gay Veteran

not much money to be made serving breakfast to troops, but LOTS to be made selling the Pentagon their little toys

    • Mondobeyondo

It’s more inexperience on BHO’s part, than anything else. That’s just my opinion. Being a community organizer in Chicago in his previous life, well, that’s noble. But now, you’re dealing with situations which can potentially change the course of world history. I hope Obama is up to the task.

  • A Dodgy Bloke

The Caspian Report on You Tube has done some really good stuff on the situation in the Ukraine, there reports are short and to the point well worth a listen. One of the things the CR has point out is the Parliament didn’t follow the Constitution when they impeached the old president. Should the Russians intervene the Parliament has given the Russians a fig leaf of an excuse should they decide to invade. Also look at Goggle Earth after you cross the Carpathian Mountains Western Russia is as flat as a pool table. (One of the reasons the Germans made such good time in 1941). The Russians wont allow that to happen again.

  • Rodster

There goes the US destablizing another country so as to bring chaos closer to Russia. This is all about protecting the US dollar and the strategic pipeline going thru Ukraine.

    • seth

I think blaming the US is inaccurate, as the international banking cabal manipulating the US is also manipulating other countries too. Using other countries against each other is a classic ‘divide-and-conquer’ tactic, whilst the banking dynasties hide and use others’ to achieve their evil. The real perpetrators must be correctly identified, and the banking dynasties represent the real control and real evil of this planet.

      • ab

        Excellent observation

      • Joe Kirkpatrick

Yeah, but these banksters control the US and Britain like no others and operate them as their military proxies.

      • Human

The rise of the ten kings is well underway!

      • disqus_WZ54IGHz38

        International banking cabal
        Aka the Jews.

That’s it. Follow the money… Now you’re getting hot!

  • Nitro Charged

” considering the fact that vitally important pipelines that pump natural gas from Russia to the rest of Europe go right through Ukraine” – that sums up the US’s meddling in the region!

  • PK

Once again the US is putting it’s nose where it doesn’t belong. I wanted to visit the Ukraine this summer. I guess that trip will be canceled thanks to more dumb moves by our State Department. At the rate we are making enemies the entire world will hate us soon.

    • smallergovnow

      they already do…

    • Mondobeyondo

No problem! Pay them enough money and they will love us!!. Isn’t that how foreign policy works anyway?

      [ahem….]

    • Roger Smith

Have you forgot about Hillary and her magic Russian relations “RESET” button. She just needs to keep pushing that thing and all will be well….

  • Syrin

Face it, WE are the bad guys. CIA stirs up a revolt, gets a gov’t overthrown with hundreds of deaths and atrocities, a CENTRAL BANKER gets named president, and the IMF just swooped in and gave its terms of surrender which will loot the Ukraine of its wealth and resources. Liberalism/statism is a disease and has killed more people in peace time than all world wars combined.

    • jox

As usual, your analysis is OK, but in the end you need to blame on any of your particular enemies with no reason. What has the liberalism to do with the intervention in Ukrania? Nothing at all.

      • Syrin

Wrong. Liberalism IS the disease. At the root core and cause it is the love of big gov’t, control of people, and the loss of individual rights and freedoms that are the root cause of the problem, and that ALL stems from liberalism, and until people like you grasp this VERY basic concept, the disease will continue to spread. Once you start championing the individual over the state, individual freedom over state control, then we can start fixing the problem. As it stands right now the gov’t is owned by banks who are using the oppressive and violent nature of the gov;t to CRUSH individuals and forcibly take away their wealth and freedom. You need to read more from Mises, Hayek, Friedman, etc. Economic freedom and individual freedom are tied together and inseparable. As usual, you liberals speak and show us the profound depths of you lack of knowledge which is why we are on the precipice of overt tyranny which AGAIN just like every other time throughout history is being brought to us by the LEFT which now owns BOTH political parties.

        • Nicknakthetruthspeaker

          I m a borg! Watch out!

        • Human

Please frame your argument which I agree with in the right terms. Statists are not liberals. Call them what they are. Globalists! This gets confussing man.

          • Spelling bee

            Confusing.

        • davidmpark

Keep it up, man! Sounds great!

          • Malcolm Reynolds

Watched Logan’s Run last night. Yikes that sound track! Boop beep boop beep Duuuu DUUUUUU.
Not enough orgies for a civilization supposedly based on hedonism IMHO. LOL.

          • jaxon64

It’s interesting that you mention Logan’s Run…when I think of the ultimate result if “progressivism” actually succeeded..( eliminate the elderly, reduce total population, condensce/confine civilization into small zones, job assignment, no status or possesions, no heritage, no family etc etc)..I always get this vision of Logan’s Run and the sterile and meaningless lives of the masses –and of course the men behind the curtains crointrolling the machine in their lavish, luxury.

          • Gay Veteran

the word you’re looking for is fascism ( the merger of state and corporate power)

          • Malcolm Reynolds

Actually, my viewing that stemmed from a conversation of the progressive left’s use of ‘The Complete Lives System’ as part of the basis for Obamacare and comparing that to Soylent Green.
You’re right on the money brother!

          • davidmpark

Told ya it was a head trip! :)

        • orsobubu

Syrin, I like your analysis but when you call von Mises and the other of Menger school… come on, mathematically, is all crap. The critique by post-keynesian wiped out all of them. I am not Keynesian, he is also a scientific nonsense. You have to start from Marx to really understand. Then, imperialism, Lenin, etc. But, since in some parts of your arguments there is an embrional, “symplistic” Interpretation, resembling some scientific concepts of imperialism and other theoric instruments in the dialectical materialism arsenal, which are mandatory steps toward anarchism and real freedom, I will not throw it away entirely. But you have to start study more. For example, from your analysis i cannot grasp what is the “state”. Only if you explain it as a structure controlled by the ruling, bourgeoisie class, we can start to understand something. Then, you arrive to wage work exploitation, surplus value, money and capital creation, overproduction, fall of the profit rate, crisis, protectionism, fascism, war, revolution, communism. And so on. .

          • Malcolm Reynolds

“which are mandatory steps toward anarchism and real freedom”
You’re call Von-Mises garbage while extolling anarchism? really?

        • Gay Veteran

and conservatism (like communism) cannot fail it can only be failed

          • Malcolm Reynolds

OGL, you keep spouting your stupid little mantra like it’s insightful or its actually meaningful.

          • Gay Veteran

in other words you don’t understand it

          • Malcolm Reynolds

No, in reality it means nothing, but you’re dumb enough to think it does, which it why you use it as your signature reply for almost everything.

          • Gay Veteran

you just proved you don’t understand it

          • Malcolm Reynolds

LOL. Its meaningless snake oil from a low info occutard .

          • Gay Veteran

don’t you need to get in your government paid for wheelchair and roll on over to a teatard meeting?

        • peace angel

THIS is a one world order that has been orchestrated by thousands of royals and politicians from all over the globe through the UN. NO matter what you call it the two originators of the NWO were NAZIS and all roads lead to concentration camps.

          • El Pollo de Oro

“Next train to Auschwitz, all aboard! Kiss those calories goodbye, because we’re in a
            fascist state.”—Gerald Celente

          • Eileen Kuch

This one world order has been orchestrated long before the UN ever existed. Ever heard of the Illuminati? That secret organization was founded toward the latter half of the 18th Century – 1776, to be exact. There was no Nazism back then, and no Communism, either. Ever heard of Adam Weishaupt and Mayer Amschel Rothschild? These two were the founders of the Illuminati.

Estonian author Juri Lina wrote a history of Illuminism and its other forms – Jacobinism, Marxism, Bolshevism, and just plain Communism. Fascism and its subsidiary, Nazism, were polar opposites. More people were killed under Bolshevism/Communism than any other ideology in human history.

          • peace angel

I am speaking of the bringing of the NWO to the US 130 years ago as a plan to use the US as the model for the world for the NWO. I am speaking of the 22 times that Bush sr. told Congress that the US has to be the model for the world for the NWO. I am speaking of the written agreement signed by 178 nations at the 1992 UN annual meeting in Rio. THE agreement that Bush Sr. signed and brought to the US and that Clinton made law by exec. order and then that was heartily passed by those on both sides of the aisle the next year.

I am speaking of Agenda 21 which was heavily orchestrated by the Rothschild and Rockefeller families and the Saudi and English Royals. I am aware that at one time the Illuminati was in and out of the Free Masons, the Skull and Bonesmen and the NWO and the Bilderberg group. I am even more aware that the majority of the biggest and the best young entertainers are enmeshed with the Iluminati world politically as well.

For four decades I have followed around the Bilderberg group and hiked into Bohemian Grove and had a visit from the FBI every time I submitted a story about these adventures and the NWO to Rolling Stone, Playboy or Mother Jones forty years ago.

WHAT they call themselves and who they are matters not to me in the end. THEY are evil and have executed the NWO in the US as the ostrich nation slept and because of them America is Over and MOST have no clue.

          • Eileen Kuch

This is among the latest manifestations of what you speak, Peace Angel. However, you will still have to go back a century, with the establishment of the Rothschild Central Bank (aka Federal Reserve) during the Administration of Woodrow Wilson, to put the US in debt to the Rothschilds of London by borrowing $$$$$$$$$ from the “Fed”, in place of coining money according to the Constitution since the late 18th Century.

The Illuminati, founded in 1776, is the chief architect of the NWO. It’s a highly secretive organization; has been since its founding.

          • peace angel

Actually it is not a secret society and has not been for several decades. THE English talk about them and so do the Canadians and in the US Disney and Hollywood and all the big tech companies are well known participants, like Gates and Zuckerberg and all the rest.

If you google Disney, Hollywood and the Illuminati you will get thousands of sites showing HOW a whole generation was chipped almost three decades ago to be programmed to follow the Illuminati and they do. Gaga, Jay-Z who was all in the middle of the community organizing disaster in the “Battle for Brooklyn” and Beyonce’ and Britney Spears, Madonna, Christina Aguillara, Justin Timberlake, and lots of rappers and hip hop stars were chipped as young entertainers and their parents were paid off and they have been being controlled to promote the NWO for decades. AND they are good little soldiers doing lots of promoting.

ALL black kids who I have worked with in the HOODS from coast to coast KNOW about the Free Masons, the Skull and Bonesmen, the NWO and the Illuminati from their grandfathers many of whom are Free Masons, not 33rd degree, but they know what is happening.

THEY all know that Micheal Jackson was killed because his songs and his whole tour was intended to expose the NWO and blacks know it because two of his sisters told the press it was the Illuminati who killed him.

ALSO Paris has tons of stuff about the Illuminati and the Georgia Guidestones, the NWO and how they killed her daddy on her twitter and facebook.

SHE did NOT try to commit suicide BUT someone slit her wrists just after she posted a whole bunch of this stuff on her facebook saying “I am not afraid of them and hate them for killing my daddy.”

SHE told paramedics she DID not slit her own wrist that she was sleeping in her own bed and someone else did it.

SHE has told the world since someone tried to kill her.

LOTS of people in other nations KNOW them and that they are creating the NWO starting in the US.

This dog and pony show with Russia was carefully planned to destroy our economy and collapse the US dollar, which is why the whole world is meeting and planning and Obama is NOT there. He was never supposed to be there.

          • Eileen Kuch

Although many secrets have since been exposed, Peace Angel, there are others the general public know nothing about. If you were to ask the average Joe about Skull & Bones, the Georgia Guidestones, secret initiation rituals, etc., he’d look at you as if you had lost your mind.

Those of us who know a lot of these secrets have either read books on them or searched certain web sites that contain information exposing these secrets. The Barnes Review and American Free Press sell many of these type of books. UNDER THE SIGN OF THE SCORPION by Estonian author Juri Lina is one of the best.

        • Charlesrocks

You’re close to seeing the truth but it has little to do with leftists or liberals, and it’s a complete joke to pretend the left owns both political parties. You’d live in a great world if it did.

        • quercus454

The problem is that most people associate your definition of liberalism with only the Democratic party. Sadly that definition would fit both sides of the political aisle. What were are facing today is fascism. The merging of corporatism and government. There is no allegiance to this country or it’s people. Only consumers, workers and the bottom line. Those that have power now are not content with what they have. They want it all and they don’t like competition.

          Spot on Syrin

      • Syrin

Let me put it into terns your simplistic mind can grasp. Liberalism is like the Borg from the Star Trek series. There is no hope, there is no individual, there is no freedom. An encounter with the Borg is fatal for most, and death to the individual. The Ukraine was just assimilated. Are you starting to understand yet comrade?

      • ItIsWell

The liberals I know personally are progressive, blind, and meddling. They are ready to go to war in the blink of an eye if Obama states its for human rights. They won’t do their homework or research to find the truth and refuse to hear opposing views. They are brainwashed and closed minded. My brother and his wife are like this as well as other family that I have. They have no mind of their own and I have told them so.

        • Gay Veteran

and a few years ago the conservatives I know personally blind, and meddling. They are ready to go to war in the blink of an eye

          • Malcolm Reynolds

That’s funny considering it’s the blood thirsty democrat party that brought us the vast majority of the wars over the last century and it was a leftist idea that brought us the league of Nations and the UN, that turned this country into the world’s policemen.

WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Bay of Pigs, and a host of other little campaigns. The leftist body count is unparalleled.

          • Gay Veteran

and did the blood thirsty repubuthug party object???

          • the one

Funny you should mention that… No they didn’t. That’s because they are controlled by the same people as the democraps. This is all a dog and pony show for the sheepish masses. The Hegelian Dialectic taken to a horrifying level of control.

          • Gay Veteran

            yep, the two headed beast

          • Malcolm Reynolds

HAHAHA. Typical of your leftism. You haven’t got the first clue about history so you throw out your ignorant talking point and then blame the right for the left’s actions.
Remember, you yammer about GWB and all his lies that forced this country to invade Iraq and Afghanistan…. “IT’s BUSH!!”, you cry from the roof top.
I wont go into actually citing the real history because you don’t really care, you’re here to spout your stupid, deluded leftism.

          • Gay Veteran

hey Einstein, a lot of Democrats supported Bush’s war of aggression. Which is why I detest both parties.

          • Spelling bee

            Oooh! Matron!

          • Mike Smithy

You are delusional. The Vietnam War was brought to you by JFK and ramped up by LBJ (Both Democrats).

          • Gay Veteran

hey junior, did the majority of Republicans object?

          • Malcolm Reynolds

Once again it’s the republicans fault what the left did.
Tell us again about “Bushs war of aggression” that you keep hissing about, Capn poopy pants. Seems you have a fair amount of enmity for him and him alone over that.

          • Gay Veteran

jeez, thought you believed in personal responsibility.
but that’s right, it’s ALL the democrats fault

          • musicman4283

gay veteran is a shill. this level of doublethink is only possible in someone who’s sole purpose is to derail a thread in order to cause confusion and discord.

          • Gay Veteran

            doublethink? ok, give an example

          • Mondobeyondo

JFK inherited it from the Eisenhower administration. At the very least – if not Vietnam itself, then definitely the Bay of Pigs debacle. LBJ simply upped the ante. Send in more troops, and we’ll win this thing. Uh-huh.

If JFK had lived, would he have gotten the U.S. out of Vietnam?

            Yes.

      • Human

Again I call BS on the term Liberalism!

    • Human

Liberal is not the correct term. The Democrats hijacked the term liberal. To be liberal means you believe in maximum freedom. Statists believe the opposite. I am a liberal, and fiscal conservative!

      • Mike Smithy

You are technically correct. However, since the leftist/statists have hijacked the word, they know own it. The leftist also call themselves Progressives which should not be confused with progress in the traditional sense. It actually a label conjured up by Saul Alinsky. Which means dutifully and slowly moving a country’s political soul to accepting the Communist model. Much like Obama has conjured up the old Communist battle cry “Forward”. Is good for Comrades, No?

        • xander cross

So that is why MSNBC logo is “Move Forward”.

          • Mike Smithy

Indeed it is. I love it when Rush Limbaugh and Mark Levin refer to them as PMSNBC and MSLSD.

          • Gay Veteran

            lol, Rush the drug addict

          • Jim Davis

That’s not very sensitive of you Gay Vet. Shouldn’t you be tolerant of drug addicts?

          • Gay Veteran

not when they’re hypocrites and support the imprisonment of other drug addicts

          • Jim Davis

Just like pot and coke user Barry Obama.

          • Gay Veteran

Fiefdoms advocated by subsidies at taxpayer expense-Stage 1

Public-Private partnerships formed by enforcement of government powers, advocacy of socialism for wealth redistribution and further centralization and consolidation-Stage 2

Public-Private Mergers formed by granting private merged with government powers of government advocated by National Socialism. National Socialism breaks down into Fascism (right-wing), Communism (left-wing, and Communitarianism (center/moderate) Stage 3. This finalizes the power-structure for the roll out stage.

Stage 4 Martial Law and open authoritarian government.

These are the stages of Bismarkianism a designed political philosophical blue-print to attain and form dictatorship through centralization and pacifying the populace to the transition of rights into privileges in a manner that appears a natural political evolution or progressive political viewpoints.
Stage 4 is when those who failed to progress and rivals are often purged. Rivals are purged as they scramble to counter being denied a power-structure seat.

          • Mike Smithy

I’m impressed. You have dissected their evil plan.

        • Charlesrocks

Nice try, but “progressive” as a word, and deed, has existed long before Alinsky was born. This country has been moved toward a Soviet style elitist state, where the workers support a do nothing ruling class but it’s purely capitalist, and a corportism/fascism at that, and has been happening long before Obama by Pres’s on both teams.

      FASCISM is a disease

      • afchief

        So is homosexuality!

        • ItIsWell

          Haha. You read my thoughts!!!

        • jaxon64

Technically it is not a disease from a pathology definition.
However if one is to insist “we are born this way”. Then it, at the very least, is a genetic or mental defect/retardation of the function of normal human physiology.
In the very few, rare instances where it exists in the animal kingdom–with porpoises and chimps for example- it is almost always an act of aggresion, control and dominance by the alpha male to dominate the other males. Again though, the ultimate objective in those cases is for mating rights with the females.
If it is genetic, then why hasn’t it eliminated itself through natural courses. Homosexual behaviour does not, by its very nature, pass its genes onto posterity or reproduce. Therefore it is common sense to say that there is no “gay gene”…thus it is either a chosen behaviour based upon influences during early development ( and unfortunately now being aggresively taught to children in elementary schools)..or else there is a medical pathology which causes a defective thought process which leads some to eschew the natural functions of their physiology for abnormal usage.
This does not mean that we should not be compassionate and caring toward these unfortunates–

          • Gay Veteran

riiight, and heteros should only use the missionary position.

          • It’s the truth

It is a fact that excrement is full of harmful bacteria not suitable for ingestion. Serious illness can result from contact with it. Many/most homosexuals insist on fiddling with their friends bottom holes either with their tongues/fingers/penis/other body parts? This is highly dangerous behaviour. The ensuing health problems confirm this simple truth.

          • Gay Veteran

uh, the same would hold true for heterosexuals, or haven’t you figured that out yet

    • Heyhey

You mentioned the CIA, CENTRAL BANKERs and the IMF which are all controlled by the Jesuits, do some in-depth research on the Vatican and the Jesuits also look up the Black Pope the most powerful man in the world!

    • Roger Smith

CIA, FBI, MI5, MI6…whatever you want to call them, they all work for the same people…and it isn’t us. Every president works under them, not the other way around. If a president ever gets the idea that “he’s the man”, they put him in a convertible and drive him slowly around Dallas until something bad happens. After that they involve us in a war in Indochina, where 58,000 of us get our cards pulled. And before the last helicopter leaves the Embassy roof in Saigon, the are already fielding agents in Angola. It never ends.

    • Mondobeyondo

It it does happen that way, it wouldn’t be the first time. Chile in 1973 is an excellent example. The typical line goes something like this: “We come in the name of freedom and democracy! And let us have your gold, oil and other natural resources while we give your people ‘freedom’…:”

    • jaxon64

you nailed it…we had been financing this phony protest before it started even making headlines.
What really ticks me off also ( as if making the US into villains and possibly initiating the beginings of a larger, violent escalation) is how much like a bunch of punks O-bama and Kerry are making us look like.
First they draw a “red line in the sand” in the whole Syria fiasco and Putin makes us look like a bunch of wussies as he calls us to the carpet and takes over the situation with the chemical weapons–and we asceded to him.
Next, O-bama acts like a school girl in a hissy/pissy fit and tries to insult Russia by sending a bunch of ” sexually progressive” gay icons to the Olympics to represent our country–I actually rooted against the US athletes in this olympics- I just cannot support them if they as a contingent are waving the flag of Sodomy..
Now, we have Kerry, that idiot Susan Rice ( how does she even have any job in politics after the Benghazi “underground video caused it” crud she was spewing?) McCain and O-bama telling Russia that they better not get involved.
Putin’s respons? The very next day 150,000 troops amass at the border and start war activites and drills and then today he sends in groups of them and armored equipment…watch Kerry and the blowhards look for a way to weasel out of this one and show how toothless America has become.
If they are intentionally trying to demean our country, citizens and military–they are doing an amazing job…nobody has any fear of the US military anymore–and that’s a very bad thing when your current President has made enemies of 2/3 of the world and isolated and insulted the 1/3 who thought we were allies…
      Can you tell I’m disgusted?

      • the one

Please stop sugar coating everything and tell us how you really feel?

Virginia Slave Law: 1782 Act to Authorize the Manumission of Slaves.

February 22, 2013 By Warren Throckmorton

This law (scroll to page 39) allowed the emancipation of slaves by an owner either at death through a will or while an owner was alive via a deed of manumission. Many slaves were freed by their owners as the result of this law….

        • krinks

If you are a “gay veteran” then you don’t believe what George Washington believed. He drummed homosexuals out of his army in disgrace.

          • Gay Veteran

ROFLOL, well George Washington also owned slaves, so should I also believe in slavery?

          • krinks

Changing the subject, eh pervert? Funny.

          • Gay Veteran

hey moron, try reading your own post about believing what George Washington believed

          • krinks

He drummed homosexuals out of the military in disgrace. He knew they were degenerate perverts with no self control, something the Roman Catholic Church found out. The Church trusted people like you to have self control and allowed them to become priests. Whole dioceses are now bankrupt from the lawsuits because people like you can’t keep your hands off the children. We see this replayed in Russia over the worldwide outrage of gays upset they can’t go near the children.

          • Gay Veteran

The guy who wrote that is not American…but if there is animosity from America concerning Europe, it is more directed at our current leaders and the progressive/liberals who wish to take us into the same statist mess you guys are suffering through. Europe has become a godless bastion of banality. If trends continue, in 30 years- France, UK and the Netherlands will be predominately Muslim and might even have the names of their countries changed.
You are being outbirthed by a 3 to 1 ratio and your liberals make all concessions to people who have declared a soft jihad or fatah against you. France has less than 20 years before it will be under a muslim majority–then comes Sharia law and the slow elimination of french people…Europe is a dead continent and doesn’t even know it…this is your last gasp.

Did you know Crimea in Ukraine is one of the poorest regions

Where the hell was Putin when Russians in Crimea were living on the streets and dying of cold and hunger last winter?

Its all freaking Geo-politics…That has nothing whatsoever to do with 99.9999% of entire human race on the planet…The entire human kind just want to be left alone not with Freaking EU not with freaking Russia.

ohh so now Mr. Putin suddenly grows a heart and cares for Russians in Ukraine :)

More BS, BS, BS, BS as in US so in Russia…Be very very careful of these two countries…

They are the Good Cop, Bad Cop for human race…They are never a good news when they seems to be enemies in front of Media but best buddies behind back butchering Millions….

Whenever they want to destroy a country they come from opposite sides in the name of Communism/Democracy – Socialism/Capitalism aka any opposite ideologies with a common ground on Freedom. This is the same tactic they used for over 100 years now.

List of countries they have divided and ruled and butchered millions of local population.

Whenever US & Russia ZERO-IN on any country…Its guaranteed Innocent millions in that country will die.

    1. Germany

    2. Korea

    3. Balkans

    4. Combodia

    5. Vietnam

    6. Yugoslavia

    7. Afghanistan

    8. Libya

    9. Syria

    and now

    10. Ukraine

Is their any doubt looking at the past history of these two countries involved in so called peace and freedom of its local population and then murdering millions and quietly leaving the scene as Russia has done often in the past with America staying to butcher more.

    Russia = Bad Cop

    America = Good Cop

Result = Death of millions of Innocent humans :(

      Quick! Someone call the police!
Seriously though – I think you may be right.

This is not an indictment on all police forces – there ARE some good, decent, honest cops out there -, but the George Orwell phrase comes to mind – “All people are equal, but some people are more equal than others”

So, those usurpers in DC and the EU socialists destabilized Ukraine during the Olympics. The flood of foreign and corporate funds that flooded in probably funded the Russian military, just the high oil prices fueled the Georgian conflict a few years back. It’s understandable from a strategic standpoint for the EU to get more influence, possibly inclusion to secure the pipelines and other interests. Mike made a good list of the Russian’s movements. Militias are being formed (no surprise)…

We can’t do this anymore. We funded and fought in wars to encourage more and more wars?! We are going through a slow economic and social collapse with a federal insurrection, natural disasters, and a worldwide crisis – folks are not coping with all this. This ruination will not lead to power for the proud and evil folks – they will not escape it. We don’t need more wars and conflicts: we need to work and renew; to bring in a few years of good harvests, bring up more riches from the good earth, and have more kids. But no; the gang leaders getting off on thoughts of a historic legacy want more wars and deaths!

Okay, new rule for the Geneva Convention: any psychotic leader(s) who want to go to war or start a conflict must make a full-length reproduction video with exact lyrics, ambiance, and choreography of LMFAO’s “I’m Sexy and I Know It” and release it to online before making war. No narcissistic or sadistic person would ever be able to do that – thus saving lives of the common folks.

As a Canadian of Russian heritage I have much to say.

    1. Nice analogy re: Canada invasion scenario. If a Kiev style overthrow happened in Ottawa, the entire nation would grab hockey sticks and rifles and wage the heaviest guerrila war ever seen on the planet. Imagine the worst hockey line brawl you’ve ever seen and multiply it by 500 000. We’d definitely expect our American neighbours to pitch in.

    2. Between the US/EU economic meltdown and the Russian’s deplorable treatment of gays, it would be nice if Ukraine could secede from both.

Once again – keep an eye on the gremlins in the Kremlin.
Ukraine was part of the old Soviet Union, up until 1991.

To sum it up briefly, Russia has not forgotten or lost sight of its former empire (the USSR). It would like nothing better than to have it restored, to the “glory days” (ick!!) of Stalin and Khrushnev. Vladimir Putin is a wolf in wolf’s clothing. However, most people can’t tell the difference between a wolf, a sheep, a giraffe or a bear. “Who cares? They’re all animals, aren’t they?!” Desensitized and distracted, as usual.

Once the Winter Olympics (Putin’s global showcase) were over – the crackdown may (I repeat MAY!) begin. I was hoping I was wrong then, and I still hope I’m wrong.

Perhaps you overlooked a tiny island 90 miles from Florida? It’s called Cuba and there is a Russian destroyer ported there right now.

If you look at a map of Russia… um, let me backtrack a bit.
A “map” is a big piece of paper that shows various aspects of a particular land mass. Roads, mountains, cities and stuff such as. Oh forget it, Just look it up on your favorite search engine.

Anyway – the Crimea (southern Ukraine peninsula) has Russia bordering directly to its east. This is where the immediate drama is taking place. The Crimea is a very rich area agriculturally, and also has a lot of oil. Russia – well specifically, Vlad Putin – would love to have this area. It’s the same area that Hitler and the Red Army fought over in 1942. The Nazis tried to capture the Crimea in 1942. They failed. They then tried to capture a more northern city called Stalingrad in 1943. They failed again. Okay, enough WWII history..

    • Mondobeyondo

FYI – and this is way off topic —
Hitler always feared a two front war. Well, he got one. The Soviet Union fought in earnest beginning June 22, 1941. That was the Eastern Front, European Theater. It started that day, and ended on May 9, 1945.

The Western Front opened up on June 6, 1944 (D-Day). Germany was doomed the moment the Allies started marching on the Western Front, European Theater. Don’t even get me started about the Pacific Theater..

Yeah, I’ve spent way too much time studying WWII.

    • Krist the redeemer

The Germans captured the Crimea in 1942.

      • Mondobeyondo

If so, then I am erroneous, and I admit it. I always thought the Red Army defeated the Nazis at Sevastopol. Chalk that one up due to 1) poor American education or 2) insufficient research.

“So what would the U.S. and the EU do if a war erupts between the Ukraine and Russia?”

I would say absolutely nothing. Europe is dependent on natural gas from Russia so they will do nothing if they have any sense. The US as it showed with Syria is all hat and no cattle and will do nothing either. The US only attacks countries that are weak and unable to defend themselves.

It is true, as far as I know, that swastikas have not appeared in the Ukraine, but nazis with the “Viking SS Division” have appeared. Obama by his hubris and neglect has somehow managed to reignite the Cold War. As I write, I read the War Drums are once again pounding on the Potomac for going into Syria. I suspect Putin would love nothing more than an opportunity to humiliate the United States. Obama, desperate to change the narrative over the Ocare Debacle, may just bull ahead. If he does, he will definitely change the narrative but we shall not like the outcome…

    • Drud

This is so, so much bigger than Obama. The whole world has built up unsustainable debt and money and power have been concentrated in the hands of far too few people. This process has taken decades and blame is pointless and, in fact, counterproductive. The drums of war are beating all over the world, because all the major countries in the so called “first world,” are in terrible shape both economically and socially. This will lead to WWIII. The details of how it begins, as well as the details of where it ends and how far it escalates, are anyone’s guess and so fluid that virtually all predictions will be wrong anyway. The best any of us can do is be alert, prepared and protect ourselves and family as best as we can.

We have to distance ourselves from the conflict in the Ukraine. It is not in our interests to interfere.
The fact is the President Putin has a direct connection to the criminals in the Russian Mafia. 60 Minutes exposed this connection just last Sunday. With that in mind, I think it is in our best interests to allow things to play out on their own in the Ukraine. President Putin might even find himself with a problem that is hard to resolve.
Money talks, B******t walks. I do think we need to take our foreign aid money and walk away from the region. Then see what happens. I definitely think any embassy personnel should be evacuated immediately from the region until the smoke clears and we know just exactly who is going to be in charge.
I think any business interests in the area need to be removed immediately along with any money we have in the Ukraine region.
I haven’t heard what Turkey is doing in the area. Yet they are next door neighbors to the Ukraine. I mention this only in passing because I think they are remaining neutral.
As for any intelligence agency interference in the area, I think we need to get out while the getting is good. We have to stop using our intelligence agencies like a militia or encouraging revolts that cannot succeed long term.
The bottom line is it doesn’t pay off.
Most of the people in this world do not forgive and forget. The long term result is a lot of people hating those that caused the problem in the first place.
There are two kinds of people here. Those that seek revenge immediately and those that wait until the appropriate time and place to seek that revenge. The latter group is what makes this kind of intelligence activity not very profitable in the long run.
I still go with MYOB as a national policy. It makes more sense for the American People not to get involved in conflicts all over the planet. They are simply not profitable business in the long run. It makes more sense to protect our business interests in such a way that we do not end up having a military presence over much of the planet.
Like in chess, we need to watch how other people work the rules and sometimes we need to copy their ways of doing things.
The true powers behind the American Political Scene need to direct their puppets so that all of our mutual interests are taken care of. Because right now they stand to lose just as much as the rest of us by these idiotic ventures.

    • Drud

I agree with a great deal of your analysis/ideas, but not your underlying premise. Who is “we”? The “true powers behind the American Political Scene” have no part in any “we” I know of. They are the epitome of self-serving oligarchs. What “we” need to do, meaning we the individual citizens of the United States is to withdraw our support from our government and the rulers that own it. Of course, “it makes sense for the American People not to get involved in conflicts all over the planet,” but the American People are currently left out of that decision making process. Sure, we were able to temporarily stop the escalation of war in Syria, but the PTB simply shift the focus to Ukraine. if the American People were to see an American ship in flames and American soldiers dying on the puppet MSM, the people would demand war. The point is, they can rig the system on many different levels. Finally, the point about them standing “to lose just as much of the rest of us with these idiotic ventures…” well, you are assuming they are rational humans being giving strong consideration towards the future. Somehow, I doubt that. Their actions are more like serious addicts needing bigger and bigger fixes right now.

  • DJohn1

As a Ukrainian I can say that people of the southeastern Ukraine (including Crimea of course) overwhelmingly support Russia because it is historically a Russian territory populated by Russian people who are very unlikely to support nationalistic and even neo-Nazi ideas that come from the western Ukraine. Not to mention, most of Ukrainian in the South East reasonably (in my opinion) assume that the coup d’etat that just happened was engineered in the USA and will only benefit the them, EU and their Ukrainian puppets. So, I am pretty sure that if Russian armed forces invade the South East of Ukraine they will be welcomed as liberators.

    • Mondobeyondo

I met a beautiful young lady from Ukraine at the TCBY yogurt shack last week and sat and talked to her for awhile. SHE had met and married a young soldier from the US 5 years ago and really fears for her family who are all still in Ukraine. SHE pointed out the fact that they news is more biased than ours and if they had the access we have they would realize that going with the EU or going with Russia will only make their nation a puppet to either evil faction. SHE tries to tell her family who favor the EU and UN plans that they are not their friends.

NO matter what they decide or are forced into doing the US will be there to start WWIII to thin the herd and we will destroy the nation as we always do when we invade and leave the country in shambles. THEY are screwed.

Now would be the perfect time for Russia to invade the Ukraine. Our military is spread out and being cut to the bone. The people are tired of war, especially poorly led wars. Our leadership is corrupt, incompetent, gutless, and clueless.

It’s obvious that the Ukraine is vital to Russian national security, at least part of it. From our perspective , if the Ukraine becomes part of the EU will that save us from… whatever? If it becomes closer to Russia will that bring down the USA? I doubt it. If it splits into a pro EU Western half and a pro Russian Eastern half will that be a threat to the welfare of the United States? I doubt that too. Victoria Nuland’s comments (i. e. ” F— Europe “) to our Ambassador make it clear that we’re more worried about it than Europe is. Just like we were more worried about Bosnia than Europe was. Why? War and possibly even nuclear war will only occur if the American people are gullible enough to be convinced that waging war over the Ukraine is vital to our national security. Like Syria, Libya and Iraq it’s a fractured country afflicted with ethnic and religious divisions whose people had little or no say in the borders that supposedly make them one country. There is nothing about the Ukraine that makes it vital enough to our national security or beneficial enough to our economy to justify going to war over.

It’s pretty obvious, the “wonder brains” (yes I am being sarcastic) in the ss; oops sorry I mean CIA, have decided to kill two birds with one stone, by crippling the Black Sea fleet and as stated above, taking away Russia’s capability to help Iran. I think as usual Iran and the Middle East is probably the bottom line for the psychos in Washington.

A Pattern of World Conquerors from the North
    by Avraham Gileadi Ph.D.

The Assyrians and Babylonians who conquered the ancient world both came “from the North” in relation to Israel when God’s people turned to wickedness. Those events established a pattern that would repeat itself prior to Jehovah’s coming to institute the earth’s millennium of peace. This time, however, it would not be the ten-tribed kingdom of Israel or the people of Judah in ancient Judea who would suffer invasion and destruction by a world power but God’s people who turn to wickedness in the modern age. This time, too, it would be an End-Time world power “from the North” that would overrun the world, following the pattern of those former events.

When God’s End-Time people reach the same level of wickedness that ancient Israel did, God will respond as did before: “Hail the Assyrian, the rod of my anger! He is a staff—my wrath in their hand. I will commission him against a godless nation, appoint him over the people [deserving] of my vengeance, to pillage for plunder, to spoliate for spoil, to tread underfoot like mud in the streets. Nevertheless, it shall not seem so to him; this shall not be what he has in mind. His purpose shall be to annihilate and to exterminate nations not a few” (Isaiah 10:5–7). “From the North shall come [pillars of] smoke, and no place he has designated shall evade it” (Isaiah 14:31).

    End-Time “Assyria”—A Militaristic Alliance
    by Avraham Gileadi Ph.D.

Featuring prominently in the book of Isaiah is a militaristic superpower that seeks to conquer the world. Indeed, God commissions its king figure—an End-Time archtyrant—to punish God’s people when they turn to evil and apostatize: “Hail the Assyrian, the rod of my anger!

Following the pattern of ancient Assyria, this ruthless world power and its alliance of nations will commit genocide on a world scale: “Hark! A tumult on the mountains, as of a vast multitude. Hark! An uproar among kingdoms, as of nations assembling: Jehovah of Hosts is marshaling an army for war. They come from a distant land beyond the horizon—Jehovah and the instruments of his wrath—to cause destruction throughout the earth. Lament, for the Day of Jehovah is near; it shall come as a violent blow from the Almighty” (Isaiah 13:4–6). Although all nations in their wicked state suffer destruction, it is the apostasy of God’s covenant people that is the catalyst.

    End-Time “Egypt”—A Superpower in Decline
    by Avraham Gileadi Ph.D.

Isaiah’s use of types of ancient world powers that foreshadow End-Time ones extends to the great superpower Egypt. As with all nations and persons who appear in the book of Isaiah, their true identity emerges when we observe how Isaiah characterizes them, not when we apply historical or archaeological data, though at times that may help. In searching the world today for a nation that matches Isaiah’s description of “Egypt,” the sole candidate is America. That connection is further strengthened by the fact that God’s people anciently dwelt in Egypt, that Joseph ruled Egypt, and that the birthright tribe of Ephraim sprang from Joseph and Asenath, an Egyptian woman.

Isaiah’s “Egypt,” however, is a superpower in decline: “The ministers of Zoan have been foolish, the officials of Noph deluded; the heads of state have led Egypt astray. Jehovah has permeated them with a spirit of confusion; they have misled Egypt in all that it does, causing it to stagger like a drunkard into his vomit. . . . Manufacturers of combed linen and weavers of fine fabrics will be dismayed. The textile workers will know despair, and all who work for wages suffer distress. . . . I will stir up the Egyptians against the Egyptians; they will fight brother against brother and neighbor against neighbor, city against city and state against state” (Isaiah 19:2, 9–10, 13–14).

The Struggle within America—Isaiah Saw It All!
    by Avraham Gileadi Ph.D.

Many regard Isaiah’s prophecy as a sealed book. Who does it address, only people in the past? A key to this mystery exists in the linear and synchronous structures that govern the book of Isaiah. These enable us to read it as a prophecy about the past but also as a prediction of the future. The book of Isaiah, in other words, serves a twofold purpose. Without taking anything away from what happened in the past, it uses the past as an allegory of the future. In that case, persons and nations of Isaiah’s day typify ones who perform similar roles at the end of the world. The names of past persons and nations function as codenames for their endtime counterparts.

The importance of understanding Isaiah’s message increases daily as world events line up like planets for the fulfillment of his prophecy. Under the codename “Egypt ”—the great superpower of Isaiah’s day—America is predicted to suffer spiritual decline, political ineptitude, economic collapse, internal anarchy, and invasion by a foreign military world power from the North—a latter-day “Assyria.” On the other hand, a community of covenanters in “Egypt” will turn back to Jehovah, who will send them a savior and deliver them. In the end, at the commencement of the millennial age, America will again become “my people”—a covenant people of God (Isaiah 19).

Avraham is a seeker of truth. Both Judaism and Mormonism and other faiths all have truth. The book of Isaiah—Blueprint of Our Time
        by Avraham Gileadi Ph.D.

What sets the book of Isaiah apart from all other prophetic writings is its all-inclusiveness in depicting an End-Time scenario. More complete in its portrayal of that time than even apocalyptic writings such as Daniel and Revelation, it spells out a great confluence of events to which humanity may look forward. Using Israel’s ancient history as an allegory of the end of the world, it predicts the future by drawing on events of the past. Only a prophet–poet with extraordinary literary skills could have predicted “the end” based on the world’s beginnings (Isaiah 46:10). Only a visionary who saw both time periods could have crafted such a prophetic masterpiece.

While the book of Isaiah’s apocalyptic message accords with Jewish tradition, and while literary structures provide proof of its twofold applicability—Isaiah’s day and the end of the world—it still requires a leap of faith to believe that this is indeed a handbook for our time. For one thing, it may mean discarding much or all of what we have been taught. Isaiah foresees this confusion when he speaks of the deaf “hearing” and the blind “seeing” the words of his book. Only then will “they who erred in spirit gain understanding and they who murmured accept instruction” (Isaiah 29:18, 24). Fortunately, not all of God’s people fall in that category (Isaiah 66:2, 5).

        Isaiah’s Antichrist—The King of Assyria/Babylon
        by Avraham Gileadi Ph.D.

Isaiah’s version of an End-Time Antichrist is the king of Assyria/Babylon, whom Isaiah portrays as a composite of types. That is, he combines several types or precedents of ancient tyrannical rulers to project a single End-Time one—a consummate archtyrant. Setting a precedent for world conquerors from the North were the kings of Assyria (Isaiah 10:5–14; 37:18, 21–27). To that type, Isaiah adds the king of Babylon, who is also a world conqueror from the North, but who styles himself as a demi-god and exemplifies Babylon’s idolatrous ideology (Isaiah 14:3–21; 47:1–8). In the end, however, because of the loyalty of God’s people, the archtyrant is put down.

Thus, Isaiah predicts: “But when my Lord has fully accomplished his work in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem, he will punish the king of Assyria for his notorious boasting and infamous conceit, because he said, ‘I have done it by my own ability and shrewdness, for I am ingenious. I have done away with the borders of nations, I have ravaged their reserves, I have vastly reduced the inhabitants. I have impounded the wealth of peoples like a nest, and I have gathered up the whole world as one gathers abandoned eggs; not one flapped its wings, or opened its mouth to utter a peep’” (Isaiah 10:12–14); “How the tyrant has met his end and tyranny ceased!” (Isaiah 14:4).

It’s been 50 years since we had a real showdown with Russia. After Russia got out of Cuba and we pulled back in Turkey things haven’t been this contested. The thought of us now facing off with them again as they make plans to dock their fleet in Cuba, Venezuela, and Nicaragua with Obama at the helm is a game changer. Our economy already at the brink, our military overstretched, China looking for a fight, North Korea trying to figure out how to EMP the west coast does not make for a positive future. This seems only a unresolved and renewal of the old ideological conflict between the West and the East which started the Great War of 1912-1915, and the third World War is inevitable. Most today do not remember history and that although German was twice defeated in the two great wars, the real and even greater enemy of the West was always Russia.
Nor do we have on the world stage today anyone approaching the great statesman Churchhill who understood the geopolitics of Europe and the Middle East or his long experience overseeing such vast military forces, and seeing things first hand up close and personal where he should put boots on the ground.

And millions of boots on the ground is just what Nato certainly ought to have built up directly after World War II, and kept them maintained up till today. But Europe has instead chosen the passive road of appeasement, of Islam, and their old foe, Russia, as well.
So we must ask, where would Europe be, if Putin orders a first strike and destroys America?

Correct. War is the typical war the world’s banksters reset the clock so to speak, and consolidate their profits, profit more on arms and misery, and buy up everything remaining for a song, while milking the misery of those who bury their dead to push things toward the next reset. Yeah, 50,000 people registered, yet it is estimated 350,000 of them in the state, and there have been people outright stating that it is civil disobedience. I don’t know why so many people are convinced on here that the U.S. is going to war over this, when all the facts show otherwise.

    – Despite what the conspiracy theorists think, the revolt in Ukraine was a Citizen’s revolt by mainly ethnic Ukrainians sick and tired of the Russian colonists controlling the government. It’s pretty simple, and pretty easy to understand. It’s fundamentally not about Banksters, or geopolitics, or anything like that.

-Obama has been completely impotent so far, and there is absolutely no sign that’s gonna change.

    – Maybe you didn’t get the memo, but Obama’s Defense Department just announced they will be making major cuts in the U.S. military. Hardly the posture of a government preparing for war. It’s the posture of a government preparing for U.S. impotence in the world – because that is what Obama wants for the U.S. Every known fact about Obama and his main advisors point to that simple reality.

In conclusion, anyone can believe what they want, but when the facts don’t line up with your theories, it’s time to think critically about your theories.

    • garand555

I don’t think we are going to war over this, but we were in there agitating things. I don’t doubt that the government in Ukraine was corrupt as can be, but the situation is not nearly as simple as you make it out to be. There is hard evidence that we (the US) have been funneling money to the opposition and there is hard evidence that we were planning on putting people that we approved of in power. There is also hard evidence that we were pushing for an IMF/EU deal, so, yes, bankers are involved here.

Look up the leaked phone call from Assistant Secretary of State Victoria Nuland talking about who was going to run Ukraine. Also look up the video of the Press Club talk she gave in December of 2013 where she tells how much money the US has funneled into this and was pimping really hard for the IMF/EU deal.

      • Zoltar

Whatever the amount of money that may or may not have been funneled in is not what was driving this. It was the ethnic Ukrainians themselves understandably fed up with Russian colonization. Bankers were not pulling the strings, even if they think they were.

There is no evidence that the E.U. or the U.S. have, or have ever had, any stomach for a confrontation over Ukraine, and plenty of evidence that Putin has known that.

Therefore, if the U.S. and E.U. funneled money, it’s more evidence of their complete incompetence and stupidity in thinking Putin wouldn’t respond in the way he has.

        • Arius1071

We don’t need evidence of complete incompetence and stupidity of US and EU leaders. You can assume it and be 100% correct.

      • Zoltar

So you don’t think Obama wants to destroy the ability of the U.S. to project power around the world and make the U.S. weaker?

The American government is bankrupt. Thanks to Progressive dogma becoming the norm.

          • Gay Veteran

yeah, and the military-industrial complex (plus the national security state) had absolutely nothing to do with it

          • Zoltar

The Military Industrial Complex didn’t vote in congress to turn us into a Welfare and Entitlement State, now did they?

            It was ProgTard politicians.

            That’s what’s bankrupting us.

          • Gay Veteran

hey Einstein, guess you didn’t realize that the welfare state was the prize TPTB were willing to “pay” in order for them to loot us all.
you need to read Charles Hugh Smith about that

          • Zoltar

        • Gay Veteran

why don’t you read him and find out?
and I guess the U.S. spent $5 billion just for the hell of it

oh, but I forgot, the only problem is them demon democrats and liberals.

        • davidmpark

Yes; most of them are. Almost all of the unprovoked bigoted, racist, heterophobic rhetoric; the violent actions; and most of our social and economic problems stem from Progressive/Leftist activists and ideals.

That is why we are fighting. Not just right wing conservative and libertarian folks. Jerks like me are in this now – guys who would rather spend their time building stuff and having a good time with the wife and kids. We got smacked down as an easy target. We already lost more than enough; and we want it back.

And your hypocritical projectionist personal attacks have no merit: we have all your posts recorded here. We have access to you, and jox, jonno, 2gary2, and the rest of your lot’s words. You all forgot your playbook – don’t leave a paper trail.

We know what you all believe: and you will never win. And that scares you all, don’t it? Your side already lost – or the current crackdowns wouldn’t be necessary.

          • Gay Veteran

Great strawman. The liberals I know are good decent people.
And if you think our problems are due to “progressive/leftist” ideals then you have been paying attention to the corporate fascism taking over this country which is supported by both the “left” and the “right”.

and bigotry? yeah, the right is pure as driven snow on that one.

          • davidmpark

Projection. Cognitive dissonance. Use of actual fallacies. Misuse of the term Strawman. Such zealotry you have!

And you still haven’t figured out what I’m doing, have you? I know the leftist ideology – my parents and the local community saturated me in it. I was their scapegoat, their toss-pot, the one who took their abuse as a whole to bind the community together. I know all sides of that occult religion.

I know how destructive it is and what it’s very nature is – death worship. It’s self-destructive if isolated with no victims. All I had to was keep you typing, encourage you to seek professional help, and to not act as you have – your own personal issues and faults would end you.

Projecting your own faults onto others and calling people derisive names; is that how you hoped to gain support? To silence your detractors? What was the purpose? You hide any sense of your identity: no mention as to male or female; no mention as to even what state you live in; no mention of yourself outside of a moniker of being a “gay veteran” – a supposedly politically-correct protected designation.

And if you’re wondering why I keep typing to you and the rest of ‘em; the answer is very simple. All of the Leftist trolls here are my litmus tests. I’m honing my arguments before I go out to do real harm to your ideology and try to turn this around.

            Get some help. :)

          • Gay Veteran

“…I was their scapegoat, their toss-pot, the one who took their abuse as a whole to bind the community together….”

Projecting? sounds like you’re an expert.

I watched a documentary a few years ago. And basically under President Reagan, we worked with the Saudis to devalue oil to hurt the Soviet economy and war machine. This show had major players that were in the Reagan administration and Arabic Bureaucrats.

I suspect part of the Ukraine action is to cut off the Oil Dollars that the Russians are getting. And this will weaken them economically.

  • Kent Harris

The Isaiah 9 prophecy is coming to past. We were told by God 3 times that we would be judged after 9/11. There is one outcome and that we would be attacked and destroyed by our enemies from the east and the west. You have China and Russia who are of the east and the west of this country. The prophecy when you consider Isreal was given about 15 years and then were destroyed by fire. We are fast approaching that point.

    • GSOB

Do you really believe all of that is in the bible?

  • lilbear68

looking back its interesting that during the 2008 campaign sarah palin predicted that if O was elected putin would take the Ukraine and crimea. the foreign policy pundits shredded her for this.
I wonder what they are saying now?

    • Adrian

Yeah, that’s like the one about given enough time, even a monkey can write Shakespere on a typewriter. Give us a break, please…

      • lilbear68

well im not a palin supporter by any stretch but maybe you could explain how all the people that are supposed to know this stuff didn’t know W T F they were talking about? hmmmm

        • Adrian

That’s easy…they never do. The state dept. is staffed with lawyers instead of academics who actually study these issues in detail. Obama knows zilch about foreign policy, and his FP record bears this out. However, Palin knows even less about it, so arguing that she somehow foresaw this years ago is stretching the bounds of credulity. The Ukrainian protests only occurred very recently, which led to the current crisis. She just made wild speculation that happened to bear out.

          • lilbear68

it still demonstrates that the people on the payroll should have known something about it and didn’t.
this is not new but it re enforces our acceptance of mediocrity and less as the norm.
and this isn’t the only instance of how those ‘in the know’ don’t and we take what they say and bank on it

          • Adrian

It depends on who you’re talking about. Lots of us are in the know and have been following this for a long time. Ppl on the payroll did know and have been trying to foment a coup for months there, just like they did in 2004. It goes back to the citizenry being eternally vigilant if they want to keep their freedoms…seems like we’ve lost that fight long ago.

          • lilbear68

then why did they say this would definitely NOT happen?
or was that just a secret ploy to appear stupid and collect a pay check regardless. or were they just bent on trying to destroy palins credibility.
I repeat im not a palin supporter but I am curious about the advice we seem to be listening to. they are either authorities on the subject and can give reliable information or they don’t know and are just pretending to know something when they dont
            youre dodging,

          • Adrian

Who said this wouldn’t happen? Who are ‘they’? Specify who you’re referring to first. I’m not following your meaning here.

          • lilbear68

nice dodge but tell me who are those that are ‘in the know’ as you put it?

          • Adrian

I’m not dodging anything. Your previous post was extremely unclear and I wanted to have you clarify it before addressing it. Those in the know would be academics (both in universities and in think tanks) and lower level bureaucrats and State Dept. officials. The upper echelon elites are more lawyers who know very little about these events and seek to curry political favor, which is why we see the disconnect between US FP and good policy that you are complaining about.

          • lilbear68

and so those that are actually ‘in the know’ knew this was a possibility and that palin was correct however far removed timewise and yet none that I can recall ever spoke up. either to defend her or if not to defend her at least to refute those that said this could never happen. I guess this is a case of academic CYA?

          • Adrian

Who said this could never happen? Anything can happen, esp. when we’re meddling in the Russian sphere of influence/backyard. I’ll have to see what Palin said and when she said it, but I don’t put any stock into anything that woman says. She’s comedic.

          • lilbear68

well its very easy to find her statements, just like when shes accused of saying she could see Russia from her porch/backyard that she never said. then you could also see the people that excoriated her for saying that this is what putin would do

          • Adrian

I listened to it. I agree Obama has been horrendous in foreign policy matters. Yet, Palin has no clue, either. She misses the point that it’s not up to the US to meddle in Russia’s backyard. The reason Russia has invaded Crimea is b/c Ukraine is trying to go into the Western camp. If you were Putin, you’d have done the same thing. Palin is clueless, as is Obama.

          • lilbear68

no argument there about the cluelessness but 1 of the other reasons however minor is that traditionaly the Ukraine is the Russian breadbasket and the crimea by association too

          • Adrian

One other point: Palin said Obama waffled and was indecisive when Putin invaded Georgia in August, 2008. I’m pretty sure Bush was still president at the time…but it is Sarah Palin we’re talking about, here.

          • Gay Veteran

          • Adrian

Did I say that? Kerry and Obama are morons. I don’t believe a thing they say and never will.

          • mikeymike61

I was making a statement…sort of adding to what you posted. However, looks like palin is not so dumb after all, it think its painfully obvious she was more experienced than obobo and is more honest than Kerry (well, anyone is more honest than Kerry, so that is not really a big achievement), watch this obobo get us into yet another war, funny how the dems profess to be peace loving but always get us in to the world wars. Screw Ukraine, let allah sort it out (another pearl of wisom from palin).
If we get into another war, maybe 2gary2 can be drafted so we wont have to read his absurd posts anymore. He should fit right in, what with the end of don’t ask don’t tell.

          • Adrian

No, Obama will not get us into a war. We will not fight Russians, as they have nukes. Obama knows nothing about foreign policy. If you seriously think Palin knows something about USFP, then you lost credibility points yourself.

    • goldminer

Yes a wicked god indeed. One of wrath, jealousy, revenge and destruction.
My god is none of these.
He knows not anger and wrath. Because he knows only peace and love. That is who he is.
He knows no jealousy. He is the supreme being. There is no being for him to be jealous of.
He knows not revenge because he forgives.
He knows not destruction because he is the creator and giver of life to all things.
Your god is very different than my god.

      • Dewey Olsen

we all have our god of our own understanding.

Goldminer your loving god, just lets these things happen to good and bad people.

You did not mention that you believe in a saving god… one who can save you from evil army’s and nations. May you avoid destruction and be happy with your love ones.

Isaiah explains how that will happen in our day. Christ often quoted him, instead of using his own words.

The “Day of Jehovah”—God’s Day of Judgment
        by Avraham Gileadi Ph.D.

Whether they live before or after Israel’s exile from the Promised Land, the Hebrew prophets predict a great future “Day of Jehovah” or “Day of the Lord” upon all nations (Isaiah 13:6, 9; Jeremiah 46:10; Ezekiel 30:3; Joel 2:1, 11, 31; Amos 5:18, 20; Obadiah 1:15; Zephaniah 1:7, 14, 18; Zechariah 14:1; Malachi 4:1, 5). This Day of Judgment upon a wicked world will come “as a violent blow from the Almighty,” “as a cruel outburst of anger and wrath to make the earth a desolation, that sinners may be annihilated from it” (Isaiah 13:6, 9). Precedents from the past—such as Assyria’s world conquest in Isaiah’s day—typify this great and dreadful endtime event.

John’s vision of “the Lord’s day” or “Day of the Lord” (Revelation 1:10) depicts the same event. Whereas Isaiah encoded his endtime vision in the historical events of his day, John encodes it in imagery. When you match up the characters, you nevertheless see that both describe the same endtime scenario. The “great whore” that “corrupts the earth with her fornication” (Revelation 19:2) is the harlot Babylon who rules as “Mistress of Kingdoms” (Isaiah 47:5–8). The woman who flees into the wilderness for three and a half years (Revelation 12:6) is the Virgin Daughter of Zion who flees destruction in an exodus out of Babylon (Isaiah 52:1, 11–12). And so forth.

        • GSOB

The Psalms are quoted most in the New Testament.

You seem to elevate Isaiah artificially though, just when it comes to the Revelation

Revelation was written while the Christians were oppressed by the Romans and before AD 70,…… the prophets Isaiah, Ezekiel and Daniel wrote while the Jews where under Babylonian domination.

What remains for us is the Gospel of God, Christ coming, the final resurrection and the final judgement.

          No codes needed.

          Faith, Hope and Love….

          • Dewey Olsen

gsob Your are correct Isaiah is 2nd.

            Psalms (68 times)
            Isaiah (55)
            Deuteronomy (44)
            Genesis (35)
            Exodus (31)
            Leviticus (13)
            Proverbs (8)
            Zechariah (7)
            Jeremiah (5)
            Hosea (5)

The reason Isaiah is important, is it is a blue print of America, and Russia.

“..Russia will never, ever give up Crimea without a fight. ”
    ……………………………………………………………..
Crimea is part of Ukraine, Russia does not have it. Russia rents a space for military base in Sevastopol. The question is rather if Russia will occupy Crimea or not?

    • Colin

The Russian people have attempted to annex the Crimean Peninsula twice in the past two centuries. The latter of these two attempts was more successful, with the Soviet Union holding onto the Peninsula until the dissolution of the Union in 1991 and Ukraine becoming a separate country. The Crimean Peninsula is critical to Russia, for it has one of two ports that aren’t near the Arctic. (The other is in Syria.)

Putin wants to resurrect the Russian empire. If his forces do invade Ukraine, I would not be surprised.

People in general have somehow forgotten the USA’s covert arm of international destabilization and subversion the CIA, which had a budget of 14.7 billion dollars last year 2013. Nuland stated that the USA has destabilized the Ukraine to the tune of $5 billion over the last few years. The CIA loves to play around in this kinds of sandbox. It is is only one section of the USA’s overall intelligence budget – (inflation-adjusted US$ 39.1 billion in 2014) – Wikipedia.

  • Lucky Jack

A natural consequence is for Ukraine to shut off water and power to Crimea.

  • Colin

I am leery of what our intelligence services ability to read a situation accurately. Far too many times, they have either missed what was happening or misread the situation. On many occassions, people have died who didn’t need to die.

    Research
by the University of Illinois and UC Berkeley documents that taxpayers
pay about $243 billion each year in indirect subsidies to the fast food
industry because they pay wages so low that taxpayers must put up $243

Ladys and Gentlemen, lett us recap a litle.

In the latest decade the new american millenium is in full trotle, and we all know it, and in the last years, the uSSa/Israel have made wars in land after land, we all know the story.
    Snipers everywhere.
And stil you dont gett it.

I have sayed a lott about Putin, no doubth about that, but its at the same level as I hammer my own moronic political broilers that lacks even fondamental knowledge about everything.
But the “hasbaratnjiks” atemts to make Russia, to be an agressor isnt something I agree upon, at all.
And during this years people forgett that Putin, inherented a ruin, and have managed to rise Russia economicaly to an posittion the uSSa isnt nowhere ear at all, infact Russia runns on surplus, morons.
And compared with the uSSas bloody path, nobody is even close to the mindboggeling amount of death and destructions, all the last wars, in the last centurys is orcestrated and finnacied by the uSSa, and in the reasent decades, Zinonists/Comunism/Atheism and alone slaughtered hundreds of millions people, and to day on topp of it all the lunatic binn, Israel

And stil, some babbles about Russia.
    huh
Either are you totaly ignorant and wrapped in with total arogance on behalf of the f… fatcs, or you are payed provos draggen into the arena by the latest uSSa wars, and in the latest days the infor war have been ramped up, I notise that easely, the level of bollocs in unusual high.

Ya sure. Like they blackballed Cindy Sheehan.

Nice rationalization with no evidence. Count yourself as a groupie.

      • Gay Veteran

man you are dense, talking about things you don’t have a clue about.
        “think for yourself”
        that’s a good motto

        • Zoltar

So Cindy Sheehan didn’t get a podium by the media?

And you have evidence that Celente was blackballed?

Let’s see all this evidence you got, blowhard.

          • Gay Veteran

wth does Sheehan to do with Celente???
have you ever checked out Celente’s website???

          • Zoltar

Where do you think I listened and watched most of the 50 some interviews?

Sheehan had the same as Celente, and was made a celebrity. Therefore your thesis is faulty.

Plus, you have no evidence he was blackballed.

          • Gay Veteran

            what is your f-ing problem?
the media made Sheehan, they tried to ruin Celente

          • Zoltar

Where is the evidence they tried to ruin Celente?

You say a lot of stuff, but never back it up.

Why won’t Celente go on a show where his views will challenged?

You have no idea, do you?

            I have some ideas.

          • Gay Veteran

yeah, he should go on the talk shows and be grilled by the pressitutes.
odd, you have YET to say how you disagree with what Celente says, just BS about where he appears

          • Zoltar

Why can’t he? If he is so sure of himself and has the facts on his side, he should be able to wipe the floor with the Presstitutes.

You’re as trusting as an Obama worshipper.

          • Gay Veteran

says the troll who refuses to name ONE thing he disagrees with Celente

          • Zoltar

You’re obviously too dense to perceive anything. I can make a calculated guess, based on all my viewings of Celente that he is saying that Obama and the other Psychopaths want a war. Which is how this conversation started out, didn’t it? Remember Carnack?

The U.S. will not even come close to a war over Ukraine. Obama won’t do diddly squat. He wants to emasculate the U.S. military, not get into a war where he has to increase troop levels.

          • Gay Veteran

            emasculate the military? ROFLOL.
you’re obviously too dense to understand that the bloated Pentagon budget won’t be significantly cut

          • Zoltar

I don’t have problem cutting the fat. I have a problem cutting troop levels and readiness.

You’re too dense to understand the difference.

We;ll get a major war on our hands doing stupid stuff like that.

          • Gay Veteran

and who the hell is going to invade America? Iran?
smaller military means fewer imperial adventures

          • Zoltar

Was America invaded during WWII? (if you don’t count the Aleutians)

Please. You’re beclowning yourself. You just don’t know much.

P.S. How about that RT anchor resigning on air? You know. RT. The Russian Propaganda Network Gerald Celente loves to appear on and never say anything bad about Russia. He only mentions psychopaths in the U.S. and the West. Never Russia.

            I wonder why?

          • Gay Veteran

you’re full of BS, Celente has as much love for Putin as he does for Obama.

and you really need to get a clue about the U.S. corporate media:

“…Glenn Greenwald points out the independence that RT, a Russian media organization, permits Abby Martin who denounced Russia’s alleged invasion of Ukraine, compared to the fates of Phil Donahue (MSNBC) and Peter Arnett (NBC), both of whom were fired for expressing opposition to the Bush regime’s illegal attack on Iraq. The fact that Donahue had NBC’s highest rated program did not give him journalistic independence. Anyone who speaks the truth in the American print or TV media or on NPR is immediately fired….”

          • Gay Veteran

maybe if we had a smaller military then we wouldn’t have waged a war of aggression against Iraq
