12 Unanswered Questions About The Baltimore Riots That They Don’t Want Us To Ask

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

Questions They Don't Want Us To Ask - Public DomainWhy did the Baltimore riots seem like they were perfectly staged to be a television event?  Images of police vehicles burning made for great television all over the planet, but why were there abandoned police vehicles sitting right in the middle of the riot zones without any police officers around them in the first place?  Why was the decision made ahead of time to set a curfew for Tuesday night and not for Monday night?  And why are Baltimore police officers claiming that they were ordered to “stand down” and not intervene as dozens of shops, businesses and homes went up in flames?  Yes, the anger over the death of Freddie Gray is very real.  Police brutality has been a major problem in Baltimore and much of the rest of the nation for many years.  But could it be possible that the anger that the people of Baltimore are feeling is being channeled and manipulated for other purposes?  The following are 12 unanswered questions about the Baltimore riots that they don’t want us to ask…

#1 Why are dozens of social media accounts that were linked to violence in Ferguson now trying to stir up violence in Baltimore?…

The data mining firm that found between 20 and 50 social media accounts in Baltimore linked to the violence in Ferguson, Mo. is now reporting a spike in message traffic in Washington D.C., Philadelphia and New York City, with “protesters” trying to get rides to Baltimore for Tuesday night.

The firm, which asked to remain anonymous because it does government work, said some of the suspect social media accounts in Baltimore are sending messages to incite violence. While it is possible to spoof an account, to make it look like someone is one place and really is in another, that does not fully explain the high numbers.

#2 Who was behind the aggressive social media campaign to organize a “purge” that would start at the Mondawmin Mall at precisely 3 PM on Monday afternoon?…

The spark that ignited Monday’s pandemonium probably started with high school students on social media, who were discussing a “purge” — a reference to a film in which laws are suspended.

Many people knew “very early on” that there was “a lot of energy behind this purge movement,” Baltimore City Councilman Nick Mosby told CNN on Tuesday. “It was a metaphor for, ‘Let’s go out and make trouble.'”

#3 Even though authorities had “credible intelligence” that gangs would be specifically targeting police officers on Monday, why weren’t they more prepared?  On Tuesday, the captain of the Baltimore police tried to make us believe that they weren’t prepared because they were only anticipating a confrontation with “high schoolers”

Police Capt. John Kowalczyk said the relatively light initial police presence was because authorities were preparing for a protest of high schoolers. A heavy police presence and automatic weapons would not have been appropriate, he said. Kowalczyk said police made more than 200 arrests — only 34 of them juveniles.

#4 Where were the Baltimore police on Monday afternoon when the riots exploded?  During the rioting, CNN legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin said that the “disappearance of the police for hours this afternoon is something that is going to haunt this city for decades”.

#5 Why are police officers in Baltimore claiming that they were instructed to “stand down” during the rioting on Monday afternoon?…

Police officers in Baltimore reportedly told journalists that they were ordered by Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake not to stop looters during yesterday’s riots.

Rawlings-Blake, who waited 5 hours before even making a statement on the unrest, was already under intense critcism for saying that violent mobs were provided with “space” to “destroy” during riots which took place on Saturday.

One Baltimore shopkeeper said that he actually called the police 50 times asking for help and never got any assistance at all.  Other business owners reported similar results.  This is so similar to what we saw back during the Ferguson riots.

#6 Why was the decision made ahead of time to set a curfew on Tuesday night but not on Monday night?

#7 Why were so many police vehicles conveniently parked along the street in areas where the worst violence happened?  After the destruction of a number of police vehicles on Saturday night, the Baltimore police had to know that they were prime targets.  So why were there even more police vehicles available for rioters to destroy on Monday?  And where were the cops that should have been protecting those vehicles?

#8 Why is an organization funded by George Soros stirring up emotions against the police in Baltimore?

#9 Why is CNN bringing on “commentators” that are promoting violence in Baltimore?…

Marc Lamont Hill, a Morehouse College professor and regular CNN commentator, embraced radical violence in the streets during an interview Monday on CNN.

“There shouldn’t be calm tonight,” Hill told CNN host Don Lemon as riots raged in the streets of Baltimore.

“Black people are dying in the streets. We’ve been dying in the streets for months, years, decades, centuries. I think there can be resistance to oppression.”

#10 Why did Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake initially tell reporters that a decision was made on Saturday to give “those who wished to destroy space to do that”?

#11 Why were rioters given hours to cause mayhem before a state of emergency was finally declared on Monday?  Maryland Governor Larry Hogan seems to think that Mayor Rawlings-Blake waited far too long to declare a state of emergency.  Just check out what he told one reporter

I‘ve been in daily communication with the mayor and others in the city and our entire team has been involved from day one. Frankly, this was a Baltimore city situation. Baltimore city was in charge. When the mayor called me, which quite frankly we were glad that she finally did, instantly we signed the executive order. We already had our entire team prepared.

We were all in a command center and second floor of the state house in constant communication and we were trying to get in touch with the mayor for quite some time. She finally made that call and we immediately took action.

#12 Does the fact that the mayor of Baltimore has very close ties to the Obama administration have anything to do with how events unfolded during the riots?  The following is from Infowars.com

Rawlings-Blake was one of three mayors who provided broad input into President Obama’s Task Force on 21st Century Policing, which advocates the federalization of police departments across the country by forcing them to adhere to stricter federal requirements when they receive funding.

“The federal government can be a strong partner in our efforts in build better relationships between the police and community,” she said in written testimony before the task force.

That would explain her inaction to stop the rioting when it began: by allowing it to spiral out of control, the mayor and her friends at the Justice Dept. could use the unrest to justify the expansion of federal power into local law enforcement, which would also allow her to receive more funding.

And why did it take Barack Obama several days to publicly condemn the violence in Baltimore?  Why didn’t he stand up and say something on Monday when the riots were at their peak?

Something doesn’t smell right about all of this.  Much of the violence could have been prevented if things had been handled differently.

In the end, who is going to get hurt the most by all of this?  It will be the African-American communities in the heart of Baltimore that are already suffering with extremely high levels of unemployment and poverty.

I wish that we could all just learn to come together and love one another.  Over the past few days, I have seen a whole lot of “us vs. them” talk coming from all quarters.  This kind of talk is only going to reinforce the cycle of mistrust and violence.

Sadly, I believe that this is just the beginning of what is coming to America.  The following are some tweets that show the mayhem and destruction that we have been witnessing in Baltimore the past few days…

So what do you think about what has been going on in Baltimore? Please feel free to share your thoughts by posting a comment below…

  • GSOB

    God’s salvation is irrevocable

  • K

Well the feds are going to get more involved in training police. They are to be given grants for body cams. Oh and Obama mentioned he did not have the authority, to nationalize the police. So when people watch the fires, this all sounds like a good idea. What I get is Obama wants the authority to nationalize the police. He wants them all trained by the feds. And he is more than willing to foot the bill for body cams, most likely that the feds can tune into. Now when you realise that this was all set up, to achieve those goals. It does not sound very good to me at all.

  • Mike Smithy

Michael, you raise some very compelling questions and I think we both know that there is a leftist agenda here. I have no doubt that George Soros in conjunction with the media are culpable. If I were the owner of a business that was burned or looted, I would sue the mayor and the city of Baltimore for malfeasance and official misconduct.

  • mleblanc138

A friend of mine works for the Baltimore County Police Department. Not Baltimore City, the City and County are two separate entities. He says that as soon as the thugs cross the line from the City to the County and try to start trouble there, police will show zero tolerance. Apparently he and some other officers made like 6 arrests in Towson yesterday, a nearby town to the north of Baltimore.

  • hans gruber

no conspiracy, other than breathtaking incompetence and ineptitude by city officials.the mayor is obviously inexperienced and totally clueless, but today that’s sop for most gov’t officials

  • Heisenberg

Anyone seen the report that Freddie Gray recently had spinal fusion surgery just 1 1/2 weeks before his death? I haven’t seen this anywhere else. Any truth to it?

    • Mike Smithy

Yes, I have read the same thing from numerous sources. Apparently, Freddy Gray was receiving a structured settlement from Allstate Insurance pursuant to a motor vehicle accident. Allegedly he had undergone spinal fusion surgery earlier this month and should have been home recovering instead of allegedly illicit drugs on the street corner. Perhaps Freddy Gray should have been restrained in the paddy wagon. However, I am very interested in knowing if Freddy Gray informed the cops of his medical history upon arrest.

      • SunnyFlaSnotress

        Interesting

      • Gay Veteran

NO, the Howard County lawsuit involved lead paiont

  • Not me

Yea, I can see this coming to a city near you……Soon!

    • alan

Probably by the end of May some black guy will get killed again on camera. They will have to tell the media to stop reporting it.

  • GetReal4U2

it’s simply a rehearsal for something much larger…

    • tom

        • Ranier Wolfcastle

This entire blog (and all of his others) are just clickbait for the paranoid, most importantly to get them to buy his books and DVDs. It’s so transparent and obvious, but lemmings will be lemmings.

          • BubbaGirl

Can I get an Amen or a Whoop Whoop..Just tried to post supporting White America and gun rights, let’s see if gets posted..

          • BubbaGirl

            Yep, post is gone..see yah

          • K

Wow Michael almost as many trolls as a fukushima story.

          • BubbaGirl

Don’t worry I’m gone. Site is way too moderated. I prefer free speech. So carry on..

          • Miss GOlightly

Trolls, Huh? I expected more from you K.
I don’t read the articles here anymore, the commenters are much more savvy.
I live here on earth, it doesn’t take much more than that to understand what is happening, and we are BROKE! Who has money to buy a DVD set, let alone have the time in this climate to watch ’em. Of course Michael is trying to sell his “STUFF”.
He does provide a platform for folks to talk, I’ll give him that, however there are many out there. He’s a lawyer for Godssake!
Would Jesus really get behind that?
Maybe he would be called a troll also?!

          • K

Interesting, you say the commenters are savvy. The person I responded to said everyone here was a lemming. So why would you object? You address me as though you have been here a long time, and are familiar with my comments. Also interesting, you are posting from a new account. As a matter of fact it only has 5 posts on it. I guess you are right, there just is not a troll in sight.

          • K

Ah, now I see the previous name. There are some things we agree on. But when you support people who are just attacking other people, my agreement ends.

          • Trololol

You are a troll, hence I can dismisse your argument as entirely invalid.

      • SunnyFlaSnotress

        In Gold We Trust! :)
        (kidding.. I don’t collect bullion)

    • BubbaGirl

      Well, someone’s awake.
Aww..see the impoverished minorities in their trendy EXPENSIVE clothes and shoes, fighting for, what was again?, oh yeah, the rights of dead criminals. Didn’t my TAXES PAY FOR THAT CRUISER? AND FOR INJURED POLICE? AND HIGHER INSURANCE RATES DUE TO VANDELISM? AND HIGHER TAXES FOR MORE POLICE? AND..
      rant off

      • LowellST13

Right There With you, I have seen some LEO’s violate correct enforcement Procedures. BUT, that does not allow others to go destroy other people’s property, Loot, pillage, burn, rape, or as per the Baltimore Mayor, destroy because she will let them. These people do not understand they are destroying their own community. Businesses will move out because of this. We used to be a nation of laws, now we are a nation of whoever has power. Our founding fathers would roll over in their graves. I Pray that more logical thinking comes to the aid of these rioters, but I doubt it. THE World has Gotten Stupid and only GOD can cure that. From a Right Wing home grown patriotic American, what Ocriminal Labels as a Terrorist, and I am not destroying anything.

        • Gay Veteran

violate correct enforcement Procedures? interesting term for murder

          • LowellST13

I said, I have seen, personally, I reported this as well, I HAVE NOT SEEN any LEO’s commit murder. Learn to read and understand.

          • Gay Veteran

you reported it? wow, finally found one of those so-called good cops!

        • SRVES339

Lowell seems to have (conveniently) missed the part about the black men being murdered by cops every day.

“These people”… bet you look great in white sheets!

          • LowellST13

You need to again understand my comment so review my second one. You are the racist, by assuming that “these people” refers to anything but the rioters in the street, I don’t know, don’t care what race they are, but in media portrayal of them, I have seen people of all races, partaking in this riot. SO, again THESE PEOPLE is the people violating the law, of whatever race. YOU, might want to look at helping the community instead of RACE BAITING….

          • LowellST13

You are the person, who must be racist, and do not understand my
comment. THESE PEOPLE refers to the people rioting, looting, burning, I
am not there in Baltimore and don’t know the percentage of people
breaking the law, or their race, and frankly don’t care. ANYBODY
breaking the law deserves just punishment, key word is just, Do you
think GOD is looking favorably upon those in Baltimore that are actively
breaking the law of any race. I don’t think so. RACE doesn’t matter.
WE USED to be a nation of laws, now we are a divided nation, because of
RACE BAITERS on all sides. If you read the BIBLE you will know that
only ONE entity who walked this planet was perfect, it wasn’t you, it
wasn’t me. BUT IF you have been SAVED by the BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST,
then you would not partake of the destruction of a community, or
            actively uplift those that are..

          • Gay Veteran

nation of laws? not for Wall Street banksters

          • SRVES339

Please see my reply to Bambi above… oh and Jesus would have marching in Baltimore, and those kids didn’t destroy the community… 50 years of GOP divide and conquer politics did… with your full support I’m sure!

          • Rio Rita

Baltimore has been run by Democrats bfor the last 40 years. What do Republicans have to do with it?

          • hippybiker

Got news for you, Sparky. More white folks are killed by cops in this country than blacks. That’s because there are more of us. Just do the math.

          • BambiB

So… is it racist to point out that the 13% of the population that is black commits 51% of all murders in America?

Yeah, the cops suck. And it’s about time someone called them on their criminality. But a lot of the blacks being shot down in the street have it coming.

          • jackster12

Is it racist? Well… the truth is, only the person using that statistic “as is” can answer your question.

Because, by itself, the statistic is unrepresentative of the situation we’re all trying to decipher. There are many, many more moving parts to what’s going on in Baltimore and elsewhere. Simply using this one stat to try to explain them is bad science.

So would it be — bad science — to judge the motives of the person providing said statistic, based only on the presentation of that detail alone. If you’re offering it to us to say, “Here are two details — the size of the black population as a whole and the number of blacks implicated in homicides, as a part — and is there a correlation?” Then no, that probably wouldn’t be racist.

Especially, for instance, if you followed that stat with information about financial demographics and the level of financial disparity between white and black communities, or incarceration rates for blacks and other communities, or arrests where the blacks are prosecuted or harassed the same or differently for equal crimes, or the racial demographics of the victims in those homicides (e.g. who kills 84% of white homicide victims? other whites.) We would need to look at the quality of public education provided in black communities vs. other communities, also served by public education. Job rates. Even health care availability. All are factors in economic status, and economic status has been — so far — a far greater indicator of criminality than race. So again, if this is the conversation you wanted to start, no it would not be racist to bring up that statistic.

However, if you’re content with that stat alone and you put it up there as proof that anybody brown is likely to be more murderous and violent than anybody white, and leave it at that… well then, yes, you might was well go ahead and apply for your membership card for the Ku Klux Klan. Because, yep, it’s racist.

It’s all tied back to your intent.

          • SRVES339

… and I bet you and your circle of Bambi’s have voted for the ‘law & order’ (GOP code for “we gonna cut off the funding, pump the black ghetto with drugs, and throw all the black thugs in prison” politicians that live off your hate (the CIA was importing coke for cash all through the Reagan Bush days)!

Bambi, you broke it… you own it! And encouraging the cops to gun down the fruits of your labor while you wash the filth off your hands is what got us all hear.

Grow up and try a little critical thinking Bambi.

          • Rio Rita

The CIA has been importing drugd since the Clinton years, Many people were killed–black and white. Drugs became more prevalent after Vietnam. Both party’s are at fault. The drug crisis is not just in the black community. Blacks are more vulnerable because they are uneducated which keeps them in the ghetto and the breakup if the family also is a big factor. The Great Society of the Johnson administration injured Blacks big time. You need to study history a little more

          • Donna Gatlin

“Everyday”? Please find some facts somewhere that supports this fact. Please share.

          • Bob McMahan

SRV, if you count ’em up, a whole bunch of Black dudes are being murdered by other Black dudes. Compare those numbers to the very few folks killed by police. Y’all being a tad selective in your outrage.

          • SRVES339

My reply to Bambi is close enough Bob… try thinking a little harder for the root causes of abject poverty in Amerika (hint… I’m sure you voted for it every time).

Or is it your position that the color of ones skin determines the level of crime in a given community?

The people of East Baltimore aren’t poor because they’re black, and the high crime rate has nothing to do with the color of their skin.

          • Rio Rita

Have you missed the old white man almost killed by three Black reprobates? Have you missed the young man in New Jersey killed by 2 Muslims for nothing? Police have shot Blacks only when they committ a crime. Blacks are killing Whites for no reason–just to kill Frankly. I am sick of all of it

        • LowellST13

You are the person, who must be racist, and do not understand my comment. • BambiB

Some of the “stupid” (but useful) thinking leaves it up to “god”. Lots of the rioters fear only “god”… and mama. That’s because they don’t know who their daddy is. You’re right, the world is getting dumber by the day. Time to burn it all down and start over – this time without the welfare state that motivated certain classes (like “the stupid class”) to breed like rats!

    • http://texnat.org/ Texas Chris

Operation Jade Helm, just a coincidence. Really, citizen. These are not the droids you’re looking for…

    • Marilynn Reeves

I am sure you are right and this is just what Obummer wants.

  • Liberty First

Been saying for years that this was coming. What is going to stop it? 50 million new illegal immigrants from nations with no understanding or respect for a republican form of govt? As if . . . face it, the game is about over.

    • df NJ

Maybe it has less to do with immigrants and more to do with horrible worker’s wages. Why not pay the workers more. All the money just comes back to rich people anyway. When people are suffering they become desparate.

      • Mike

Yeah, fast food workers with no education should get paid as much as someone that busted their butt in college or in a trade.

        • Priszilla

My helpdesk guy worked before as a waiter and bartender while studying IT.

      • Mike Smithy

it is becoming increasingly self-evident that blacks are getting fed up with the economic results of Obama’s presidency. For the first time, they have begun to question and to criticize the failed Keynesian economic policies that President Zero still defends, but that they now know aren’t working.

        • willkes

Yeah, but it won’t make any difference… They will still vote for the democrats.

          • Mike Smithy

Very true. It’s the epitome of ignorance.

          • Gay Veteran

as if voting for republicans would make any difference

          • willkes

            It’s worth a shot !

          • Gay Veteran

Bloomberg was the republican mayor of NYC. how did that work out?

          • willkes

That’s what you decided to run with ? A supposed republican, who wants to decide how big your soda glass is ? If money is the problem, and that’s what the dems say “we need more money” for just about everything, then yes, republicans are better with money, that’s just the way is, and always has been, with the exception of GWB.

          • Gay Veteran

            “…republicans are better with money….”
ROFLOL, did Reagan cut the Federal debt?
and GWB, god you republicans loved you some Bush back in the day

          • willkes

Yes, republicans are better with money…That’s just a fact. Plus, look around, everywhere the dems have been running the show for the last fifty years or so, is a chithole. Look at Detroit, Chicago, Baltimore, the list is endless.

          • Gay Veteran

AGAIN: did Reagan cut the Federal debt? the current Congressional republicans?

          • willkes

So you deflect from what I said, but to answer your question, Reagan didn’t do near the damage that GWB did, and GWB didn’t do near the damage that Obama has done. As for the current congress, give them a break since they haven’t really had the time to do much yet, Let’s give it some more time. Now address my comment instead of deflecting to the “well he did it” crap, the fact is nobody has done worse than team Obama when it comes to wasting tax payer dollars, that’s a fact.

          • Gay Veteran

“…As for the current congress, give them a break since they haven’t really had the time to do much yet….”

            ROFLOL, democrats=republicans.

“…nobody has done worse than team Obama when it comes to wasting tax payer dollars, that’s a fact.”

I detest Obama, but at least he has gotten us into a war of aggression like Bush did. Although Ukraine scares me

          • willkes

Really ? The whole friggin ME is on fire, Obama did that !! All I’m saying is after eight years of the Obama spending other peoples money spree, it’s worth giving the reps a shot, and I think the economy will be better for it, at least for the middle class, which has taken a beating under Obama.

          • Gay Veteran

did you hit your head and get amnesia?
because you obviously have forgotten about 8 years of Bush.
Clinton, Bush, and Obama have destroyed this country

          • willkes

What are you talking about ? If Obama had done a couple things differently, we wouldn’t be in this mess.

          • Gay Veteran

let me clue you into something:
there is bipartisan consensus on empire abroad and the national security state at home

          • Babaloo Machado

            He Was Independent.

          • Gay Veteran

his first run was as a republican

          • Babaloo Machado

And How Is Detroit After 50 Year Of Dems In charge?

          • Gay Veteran

how is America after 50 years of republicans and democrats in charge?

          • John Byde

Exactly. They are both sides of the same coin. Nothing will change whoever is in power.

          • John Byde

            Correct.

        • Heisenberg

It doesn’t matter if the president is a Jew or Gentile, black or white, male or female, Republican or Democrat. Having babies without being married is THE cause for the continuation of the cycle of poverty. I’m sympathetic to those less fortunate than I but it’s time to help yourself. If you’re a minority born into poverty, if you just go to school, do your best, and graduate from high school you’ll get free college just for being a minority. But please… a little critical thought about “institutionalized” poverty in America is in order… It has nothing to do with just being poor.

“Just go to school!” Oh, you mean the rat infested stink hole that passes for a school in the ghettos of America?

And Jesse and Al are out there offering support for their people… so of course villainize them at every turn. Yes “smearing” is in the republican wheel house (please Google Lee Atwater… just one of the experts in shaping your (twisted) world view).

What evidence do you have that they are taking it out on Obama? They are taking it out on the police, local businesses and their own towns and there is obviously a lot of anger and frustration, but none of it seems directed at the worst president of all time.

        • SRVES339

Yup, it’s the black guy in the WH whose policies have turned inner cities in amerika into cesspools of poverty!

Not the last 50 years of GOP (with a little help from the yahoo from Arkansas) anti union, tax cuts for the rich, defunding of inner cities (after the whites left for the burbs), war on drugs which of course is code for war on non whites (they helped create through CIA drugs for cash schemes)…

Intellectually lazy opinions are best kept to yourself Smithy.

          • Mike Smithy

Over the past 50 years, the USA has spent trillions on Section 8 housing, food stamps/ EBT, education and yet most blacks have not seized the opportunity to break the chain of dependency. Baltimore has been run by the Democrat machine since 1967 and yet it is still a cesspool. How do you and your ilk reconcile these basic facts. Perhaps your intellectual dishonesty, scapegoating and entitlement mentality is the source of the problem.

          • SRVES339

White privilege (in America) is the true “entitlement mentality.” And, as a retired Aerospace President (and senior partner who was raised in abject poverty) worry not, I won’t be needing any of your hard earned money you worship.

The entitlement mentality is there in plain sight Smithy… just look in the mirror and stop believing the crap the Kocks are selling… yes, you are the problem.

Try starting at The Powell Memo, and discover the corporate roadmap for divide and conquering the nation (for mindless profit at any cost to others… the amerikan way!!!!!)… with lots of help from greater fools like you, by pandering to their (very ugly) base instincts (see “Lee Attwater” who repented his sins on his death bed, a day late and a dollar short… chew on that a bit).

Yes, demonizing and blaming the poor and disenfranchised is the solution… for non critical thinking followers… Oh and before you ask, I increased wages by about 60% in 7 years and paid out 12% of net profit in bonuses… for workers.

I then walked (the talk) out the door at 58 to be a thorn in the side of bigots and haters whenever the opportunity presents itself… and thanks for that!

IT is only over if we let it be, THIS NATION, as nation needs to get down on our knees and repent for the SINS of this nation, Abortion, Unjust Wars, HATE, and many numerous others. Repent, then call on the LORD, and he will heal our land. Do I think this nation, has the SOUL or desire to do this, NO, but will I, yes. WE used to have a Republican Form of government, now we are in an EVIL government orchestrated Dictatorship, the 3 branches do not follow checks and balances, now they just consolidate the power, and destroy liberty and freedom. GOD can restore this used to be Republic, but we have to seek him, first. So for those of you who have not been saved, seek JESUS CHRIST, receive eternal life through CHRIST, witness to others and let us restore this nation or prepare for HIS RIGHTEOUS JUDGEMENT.

Long history of allowing riots to burn and loot certain areas. The truth is the powers at be do not care about the areas that were looted and destroyed and allowed it to happen. If it had started to flow into other ares that were considered important, they would of acted quickly to stop it.

This is taking on a certain national scope but that has to do with the fact it’s a community problem that is often repeated across the nation. That doesn’t mean we need a solution out of Washington, we wouldn’t get a helpful one anyway. It just means that it’s something that is common across the nation and local communities need to find solutions to address the problem.

As a result of the comments of the mayor of the city of Baltimore, surely the business owners should have grounds to sue the city and the mayor. Sure the city and mayor might don’t have the money, but they are responsible for the decision not to act. If I was an employer in the US, I can’t say I would not be wanting to set up business there and neither would I want to employ black youth. Destroying a home for the elderly poor folks just adds to the disgust most people have about them. It seems like they are driving a wedge between themselves and the asians, hispanics and any other minority!

At what point do business owners get fed up with being abused by politicians and civil agitators and start taking matters into their own hands to protect their lives and property. At some point someone is going to say enough is enough, tired of being vandalized, robbed, looted and burned, and take extreme measures which will result in a lot of people being hurt or killed. All because the social media and people like Soros are deliberately setting the stage for this catastrophe. This isn’t a racial problem, it is a prelude to anarchy by those of wealth and power, hell bent on profiting off of someone else’s losses. The citizens of every community need to hold their leaders responsible for criminal and civil atrocities and quit using the police as a scape goat.

I thought this also– that one shop owner who called police 50 times and got no help did his citizen duty ( and then some).. at that point he should have been piling up bodies at his front door as they tried and swarm him– 8 to 10 bodies can be quite a deterrent to wild invaders with the frenzy of mob mentality

This is getting curiouser and curiouser. For years, I have been trying to get people who think for themselves to consider facts that lead one to conclude that nothing today happens by accident. Does anyone even remember who Freddie Gray was? I continue to hear comments about the mayhem and destruction arising in predominantly black sections hurts blacks the most. The point is missed when that statement is uttered. In order for anyone to feel hurt, there has to be a vested interest in what is being destroyed. The bad actors have no vested interest in what is being attacked and destroyed. Their vested interests and allegiance are things more tribal in nature and which have been enabled for generations. On the one hand, we need to cheer and support the mother who intervened to stop her son. On the other, where are the rest of the mothers (and fathers) and why did she have to intervene in the first place? The answers to these questions lie in generations of failed policies of people who feel our pain and do studies and try to implement social plans based upon theory after theory that has never born out to produce anything positive. Charles Payne has it right. Each individual has an opportunity to achieve. Local residents must take control of their neighborhoods and create a sense that they and the ones who follow have something that belongs to them and for which they are responsible. Stop making excuses and come up with local solutions. Has anyone taken a look at the stark contrast between the recovery along the Gulf Coast (MIssissippi and Alabama, where Katrina landed full bore) and New Orleans? Ownership and accountability are powerful motivators. Look at Harlem’s history. Harlem’s situation was much worse than Baltimore, yet Harlem residents in collaboration with businesses took control of their destiny. I know that there must be some leaders with character and backbone in Baltimore. Stand up and be counted. And we will pray for you.

    • Gay Veteran

Baltimore, like a LOT of other cities, has seen 1000s and 1000s of jobs shipped by the corporations to countries like China, India, Vietnam, Mexico, etc.

      • Bolt

Dear Gay, That is a rather superficial comment to justify bad acts. If the loss of jobs to overseas locations is to be discussed, let us talk about cause and effect. We have a quasi- free-enterprise economy in the US. That means that businesses to survive must market a product or a quality and price that people will buy…and the price must include some level of profit. If not, the business and all employees and down-stream marketers who depend upon that product will lose either their jobs or part of their income. If jobs have been moved off-shore, it must mean that the cost of the product, including all design, manufacture, transportation, marketing etc that goes into determining the cost of the product (plus some profit) must be cheaper to have the overseas component performed there than in the USA. It is not a profit-gouging, exploitation of the worker thing that you hear from the tone deaf, brain dead left. In their world you control production and price and salary of workers etc so tat all are paid a “fair” wage. Kind of sounds like $15/hour for unskilled, un-/under-educated McDonalds workers, right? It is familiar. Well, fee enterprise, such as it is, does not work that way. So how did it become more cost-effective to produce products overseas and transport them to the USA to market? It is not just the difference in the wage structure between the overseas locations and the US. We have placed a stranglehold on any business requiring manufacture, refining, chemicals and energy in the interest of “Saving the Planet.” Despite the fact that the US is today has more forest than the beginning of the 1800s and cleaner air and water than 1950s, 1960s, 1970s (and maybe ever), we continue to fear monger and call on various government agencies to save us from evil companies. I go back to the Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990 (a Bush I enactment). Cost-benefit analyses are required for any new regulatory scheme. The cost benefit analysis to justify the CCA of 1990 included the avoidance of the cost of a large number of lung cancers, which CDC could not find. So CAA of 1990 was supported by an analysis that was imply devoid of fact. The same thing is going on today in virtually every single promulgation of new regulations. How clean is clean? We need energy and clean (Clean enough anyway) water in order to thrive. The central control feds have done everything they can to make it very difficult to produce anything in the United States. (See, even BHO’s solution for Baltimore is for the feds to throw money at the problem) When was the last refinery built? When was the last nuclear power plant built? (BTW, on a marginal cost basis, nuclear power is far and away the most reliable and cheapest of all energy, but we have all the hysteria about nuclear power thanks to J.E. Carter and a Three Mile Island non-event). Of course, there is much, much more to the story, but the bottom line is that we have elected leaders of both parties who have abandoned the inventiveness of US scientists/entrpreneurs to solve problems and simply said that you cannot do this in the United States without severe limitations, which are not cost effective. Am I a Democrat? Am I a Republican? Neither, but I am an American who is a recovering Democrat.

        • Gay Veteran

“…If jobs have been moved off-shore, it must mean that the cost of the product, including all design, manufacture, transportation, marketing etc that goes into determining the cost of the product (plus some profit) must be cheaper to have the overseas component performed there than in the USA….”

Cheaper because of near slave labor wages and NO environmental regulations (meaning the companies are bearing the true cost of their production).

“…We have placed a stranglehold on any business requiring manufacture, refining, chemicals and energy in the interest of “Saving the Planet.”….”

well we should go back to the good old days of the Love Canal so corporations can poison us to death.

have you seen the air in China? god knows what their lung cancers rates are

“…(BTW, on a marginal cost basis, nuclear power is far and away the most reliable and cheapest of all energy….”

yeah, if you just ignore that problem with disposing of the radioactive waste.

Nuclear power is a dinosaur. The Chinese are investing in thorium reactors:

“…Nixon banished a [thorim] reactor that was virtually meltdown-proof, left comparatively little long-lived waste, made it more difficult to fashion a bomb from the waste, ran at friendlier atmospheric pressure instead of the potentially explosive pressurized environments of conventional reactors, and ran at much higher temperatures, making it more cost-effective as an electricity generator.

…Fortune has learned that DOE plans to sign a 10-year collaboration agreement with China to help that country build at least one molten-salt machine within the next decade….”

          • Bolt

Either you are very smart and are putting me on or your irreparably stupid. If you are smart, you already know that the theoretical technology exists to recover spent fuel and to reduce the amount of very hot waste and reduce its volume. The nuclear age started with theory little more than 100 years ago. In tyat short period of human history the ingenuity of man has solved many problems and the average life span has lengthened enormously, despite some very bad decisions, like the banning of DDT. No on you your “slave labor” comment. I did not know that I was poor until liberls who knew what was best for me told me that I was poor. Have you asked why people in Third World countries work for what they do? If you asked, you would find that they are making multiples of what anyone else in their areas make. They do not consider it to be slave labor and have improved their lot in life. Amazing, eh, that some would take a job that you consider to be beneath your station to make his/her life better. Hum. Do I detect your liberal bigotry that you feel that these people should be making more because they are doing a job that has gone from being economic in the US. Have you ever run a business yourself and had employees who depended upon the business and you for their livelihood? Now let’s get to the next generation nuclear reactors–and I will not respond to the policies of the DOE. Reorganization of the DOE is on my list of things to effect. If we ever are able to go to a hydrogen powered economy, it will only be because of the high-temperature nuclear reactors that produce hydrogen as an off-gas of the process. If we were serious about getting to cleaner energy, we would do that now and not in 20-25 years. What do you get when you burn hydrogen? Water. How many actually understand that? I have no clue. But what we have are a bunch of fear mongers who now want to control every drop of water–surface water/ground water/falling water–in the USA when water today is cleaner than it has been in more than a century. This not not about clean water. This is about control, control, control. Just like ACA–had nothing to do with providing healthcare benefits to the estimated 15% without benefits–why did an estimated 15% of the population not have healthcare benefits? No one knows because the question was never asked. It was not relevant. Control, control, control. And when we are done, more than 15% of the population will be without healthcare benefits and the ones who are covered will not be able to get the same plan they had of keep the doctor they have had a relationship with. And, wehn I was talking with a young establishment, Kool-Aid drinking type and pointing out the misrepresentations made by BHO and the Dems, his response was, “But we have to ration healthcare benefits in this country.” Whoa. Is that not what got Sarah Palin pilloried by the MSM? And, yes, I am a perfect example of the result of White Privilege”…only I am not white…am not a Republican, but I am a recovering former Democrat So, GV, go for it.

          • Gay Veteran

“…Have you asked why people in Third World countries work for what they do? If you asked, you would find that they are making multiples of what anyone else in their areas make. They do not consider it to be slave labor and have improved their lot in life….”
meanwhile, millions of Americans go without jobs because they can’t compete with foreigners willing to work for so little.
“..Amazing, eh, that some would take a job that you consider to be beneath your station to make his/her life better. Hum. Do I detect your liberal bigotry that you feel that these people should be making more because they are doing a job that has gone from being economic in the US….”
well junior, I’m concerned with the AMERICAN worker, not the CHINESE worker
“..Just like ACA–had nothing to do with providing healthcare benefits to the estimated 15% without benefits–why did an estimated 15% of the population not have healthcare benefits? No one knows because the question was never asked….”
the solution for medical care is very simple, have all aspects of the medical field subject to antitrust laws. costs would decline by 80% (see libertarian Karl Denninger). Good luck at getting either the republicans or the democrats to pass that because democrats=republicans

          • Bolt

Maybe we can agree on some things. Nor am I concerned about the Chinese worker. I also have warned people multiple times about Bush I, Clinton, Bush II and Obama–when the Senators and Representatives talked about crossing the aisle for the State of the Union address, my response was that it is not necessary; you cannot tell them apart now. This forum is not conducive to a full development of many of the factors affecting employment in the US and the movement of jobs overseas. Regulations that serve no purpose but to control and limit are a problem. You make the comment, rhetorically, about wondering what the cancer rate is in China. I have many years suggested we compare the cancer rates in the most industrialized areas of the word–e.g. Ruhr and Essen Valleys, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham with those rates of comparably industrialized areas of the US. What do you find? The rates are comparable and the rates have not decreased with the environmental controls in place for the past 40 years, with only a few exceptions unrelated to regulations–tobacco use has decreased and lung cancer has gone down. What has dramatically improved is mortality. Because we have better and earlier detection and better treatment, people are actually cured and live longer. That has zero to do with regulations. A recent article from Johns Hopkins researchers confirmed a view that I have had for at least 30 years–a significant proportions of the cancer incidence is directly related to the number of mutations each day in stem cells–mutations that have occurred naturally. That throws the environmentalists on their rears. Even EPA has admitted, if you can ever pin them down, that only 4-5 % of cancer is relatable to environmental pollution. That is astounding. We have spent jillions to control environmental pollution by scaring people to death over 4-5% of the cancers. Rachel Carson’s book was pure fiction, yet it has turned US corporations into villains and laws have been past to make them responsible for the cost of clean-ups for which there was no factor priced into their products. Just as you point out about the Chinese. Do not misunderstand what I am saying here–I believe that we have a duty to be good stewards of what we have been given by God, but fear mongering manipulates to support the agenda and pocket books of the cronies. Anthropogenic climate change is a very good example again of manipulation of data to support a conclusion (already reached), not in the traditional scientific methodology but in the communist tradition. I continue to point out Lysenko as an example–he rejected “bourgeois” science and starved 20 million Russians. Stalin demanded impossible results and he executed those who promises, against all science, to produce and did not. As you can sense, I have been living this disaster for a long time. One of my main mantras is that a one-size-fits-all solution is just irrational and can only be understood in the context of control–and I am an equal opportunity accuser when it comes to Dems and Repubs. Your comments about the anti-competitive nature of healthcare is on point and I am in total agreement with you there. The ACA is not going to solve that problem, however; quite the contrary.

Compare the official response in Baltimore to the responses in riots in Atlanta, Boston, Cincinnati, Buffalo, Tampa, Birmingham, Chicago, New York, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, New Britain, Rochester, Plainfield, Newark, Detroit, and 144 other cities during the year following the long hot summer of 1967.

The people in the Baltimore riots would have all gone home if the Baltimore police had reacted the way the police did in 1967.

Because these people are there for no reason. Half of them probably couldn’t even tell you Freddy Gray’s name.

There’s nothing motivating them except idleness, boredom and the license provided by official stand down- unlike the protestors in 1967

GV, I am beginning to like where you are coming from. If you begin to think for yourself about the environment, healthcare, nuclear power, etc, then you can begin the road back to seeing that both parties are complicit in how we got to where we are. Both strive to top-down control. Ask yourself, why is WDC involved at all in Baltimore? Let the justice system try to deal with the mess. I know, I know. We can see legions of examples in which the law was selectively enforced–look at HRC right now. Reagan could have unraveled the monstrosity called the Department of Education. He did not. That could have been target number 1, although he inherited lots of targets no. 1. But at least he in some ways upset the apple cart of the establishment elitists on both sides. We can go all the ay back to the Civil War–in the view of most Southerners, it was about States’ Rights, although that is hard to separate from the issue of slavery, clearly a vile and dehumanizing institution. How slavery became an institution is another story altogether. It is also one that needs to be told. There are blacks whose families were never slaves–ever. Go back to 1619 when blacks came in first as indentured servants, just like others whose passage was paid from England. While that is historical fact, that also does not diminish the level of slavery’s inhumanity. Nevertheless, we have gone down the slippery slope to abandoning our federal system in favor of a dictatorship from inside the Beltway. I have written 2 congressmen and suggested that it is time to move the capital to Kansas. I think it scared them a little. No need to discuss what brought about all this needless violence, or the people who tried to stop it, or the peaceful protests, or the realities. No. Same old conspiracy of blacks and Soros. The media is run for ratings, not honest reporting, so saying they were instigating violence is good for ratings. What were your FOX News friends doing? Reporting to their white audience what they wanted to hear. It’s Obama’s fault!

On the April 27 edition of Lou Dobbs Tonight, Fox host Lou Dobbs responded to the events by blaming the violence against the police on Obama, asserting that “there is a war on law enforcement” that is being “corroborated if not condoned by this administration.”

That’s ok, since it’s FOX? If a white guy was in office, you would grab the Al Sharpton card.

Now if this was a white action led by Cliven Bundy, or his ilk pointing guns at federal officers it would be considered a show of force against a tyrannical government.

Now go back in your hole and think of some other conspiracies that your audience needs to hear.

don’t you mean a war BY law enforcement

It’s been a theatrical production, especially all those conveniently parked cop cars. One thing I learned from it is many gangs must have ties to our dear leaders to do their dirty work. The cynic in me wonders now was Freddie Gray a sacrificial lamb for all this.

It’s funny how they complain about blacks being gunned down in the streets and conveniently forget it’s blacks who are generally the ones gunning down blacks in the streets.
As long as they don’t care about places, like Chicago, where they kill 25 blacks in a weekend and wound an additional 25, their “Black lives matter!” campaign is irrelevant.

There’s no mystery here-the Baltimore city govt has repudiated the social contract with the citizenry. As a citizen, I trade my freedom and my taxes to the local govt in exchange for police protection, organized city leadership (such as it is), law, and order. When Baltimore decided not to keep up their end of the deal, they just told everyone they’re on their own. The only way you can protect yourself is to take the law into your own hands. I hope Baltimorons realize they need to arm up if they’re planning to stay there, because obviously the city and the cops are prepared to write them off if they’re not actually in the Inner Harbor or Fells Point or one of the other touristy/big business areas.

What do Asians have that blacks don’t?

  • Rick

A couple of points. First, as far as destroyed police cars go, the more that are destroyed, the more the department can take on the discarded military vehicles that will allow them in the very near future to patrol in some pretty heavy duty rides. It can also be justified because of all of the (trumped up, bought & paid for violence). Should look like a police state under Marshal Law soon. Second point: this changes the landscape on everything as we creep ahead in this country. Ferguson, and now Baltimore have been test cases as to what the police will do, and also what the people affected by the inflicted violence will do. So far nothing much. But now that it’s actually affecting something near and dear to the people, in fact the only thing many people live for in this county these days, professional sports, now we have a game changer (quite literally). If I were a “community organizer”/”protest organizer” I would now start targeting the major sporting venues. Because as we now see in Baltimore, nothing is being done to stop them. They can control a multi billion dollar industry and shut it down. This will eventually anger the regular folk who idolize their sports heroes if they aren’t able to play, or the schedules are so disrupted that fans can’t make the games. Just wait until this happens during football season this fall, we will then see people losing lives, not just livelihoods.

    • BubbaGirl

Keep all you said in the cities, cause we don’t want it down here in the South.
So, your saying that Sports is in jeopardy..The fans will rebelle due to game interference. .and that will cause more violence..that doesn’t say much for American mentality does it?

I’ve lived in Baltimore since 2002 in Mount Vernon which is immediately north of downtown. Three 7/11s and one RiteAid were looted on the edges of Mount Vernon.

    2 points:
    (1) why weren’t the police guarding Mondawmin Mall? it got looted
    (2) supposedly there was no public transportation available when the high school near Mondawmin Mall was let out on Monday afternoon. why? it was some of those kids that were involved in the riots

    • El Pollo de Oro

I know exactly where Mount Vernon is. Just walk north on Charles Street from the Inner Harbor, and you’ll get there. The last time I was in Baltimore, I gave a friend from South Philly the grand tour (funk bands in Lexington Market, Inner Harbor, Federal Hill, Latin restaurants on Broadway in Fells Point, Little Italy, Mount Vernon). So she called me yesterday to ask what I thought about the riots. I said, “This is a tiny sneak preview of things to come. Just wait ’til Banksters of America or Hells Fargo goes into cardiac arrest again. That will make these riots in Baltimore look like child’s play.”

If you want to bring up DOE and its policies, think Solyndra–good example of taking (y)our money for re-distribution to friends of the family. You like Feinstein family’s sweet deal to disposition excess federal property? You like the exemptions of the Pelosi Family from taxes that would have hit their holdings in the Pacific? How about Harry “I am not going to run again Reid and the Reid Family sweet deals with the Chinese and the BLM’s attack on Clive Bundy? And connection there? And what in the world was BLM doing with automatic weapons? I could relate a recent discussion with a DHS employee, but it might just scare you…and would be too long to explain anyway. I just might refer you, however, to the Jade Helm Operation.

Round up the rioters and put them in jail. Do it in the daytime.

You have plenty of teams ready and able to go.
Steal from businesses? Let the businesses lock up and shut down.

Use dogs. Dogs hate people that group together and riot.

I’ll bet if those neighborhoods being looted were where the cops lived, they would refuse to stand down. So…….they take orders from and owe allegiance to the mayor. Just like Katrina when the MAYOR ordered 4th Amendment destroying gun grabs, police will always simply follow orders of their “boss”.

Haven.t seen any cases where cops refused an Unconstitutional order, and not saying that standing down has anything to do with Constitution, But, I agree that something is starnage here. Just like 9/11, Sandy Hoax, and Boston. Expect more “crisis” events coming to a town near you soon.

When a cop shoots a black man that shows no real threat, this is bigger than a racist issue, it is a liberty issue with abuse of power by cops.

This why white and black Americans need to start trying to stand together, blacks to understand that it not a racist issue exclusively, but, an abuse of authority issue. And whites, lets please stand up and speak out against any abuse, and injustice no matter what the skin color.

We need to stand together, or we will fall into tyranny together.

  • Maddog

With all LE has to bring to the scene of riots these days in terms of weaponry, they could have stopped all of that within minutes but they didn’t because it was for the American public’s viewing pleasure/amusement. I have to laugh at Baltimore. They surrendered their Second Amendment rights (strict gun control on Maryland – even strickter in Baltimore) and now are helpless before the mob. Called the cops 50 times did you? Rushed right out to help you, did they?

In Ferguson, store owners stood out front with semi-automatic rifles. No one messed with them. Their stores were not looted. In Los Angels during the riots, shop owners were on their rooftops with semi-automatic rifles. The mob turned aside. So who needs an “assault weapon” (semi-automatic rifle)?

Personally, I don’t care if Baltimore burns to the ground. They’ve abdicated responsibility and entrusted their lives to government. Now government is failing them. It’s a tough lesson to learn – but there it is. Cops have no duty to protect you… so you’re on your own.

And just two days ago, the Baltimore police chief was calling for MORE gun control. Did you bite on that one too, Baltimore?

    Burn, Baltimore! Burn!

Wouldn’t you think that as a responsible Mayor you would not want to inflame the protestors. Why not have a good racial mix in that first line of officers so the racial lines would be more blurred? Yes it seems the city administration is encouraging this turmoil. Why is the main spokesman for police the White deputy commissioner instead of the African-American commissioner?

Can President Obama stay President after his term is up in Jan 20, 2016?

The answer is at the bottom of this post………

Now to address Why the Baltimore riot is just one of many other problems.

I believe the answer is quite simple. Everyone always gets in the middle of a situation, and all they can see is what is in front of their face.. Thats the political correctness way of doing things.

step back, get out of the middle of the situation. now step back even farther so you can see what other things are also going on that might relate to the situation.

At this point one can not only see whats going on in the situation, but can see other things that are connected to the situation.

Its now, when you get the whole picture of whats leading up to the situation that you are now able to make a reasonable assertion of what and why there is this problem.

When I do this, I see an America that is in a complete overhaul by the few privileged rich bastards. They, after many generations now are ready to again try to create a new world order. The closer it gets, the less secret it can be. These final attempts to incorporate this is going to be seen by the whole world.

So they need to be in control of the people when it becomes apparent this is really happening.

    Thats where we are now.

To control the masses, they need to have affected martial law to contain every move we make.

They have to have a reason for the President to call martial law, and I believe all these riots are being made to happen all over the United States, until there are several going on at the same time.

When this happens, the President calls martial law, and he can than stay President for a many years martial law is in effect.

So, there you have the reason for police brutality all across America. To get normal everyday people angry enough to try make changes. (rioting) When this no longer is contained in one area, but is happening all across America in several different places at the same time,

That opens up the legal right for a president to call martial law, and for him to start using all the FEMA camp prisons and HOMELAND SECURITY that are now standing empty, waiting for Americans to be herded in if we rebel.

Is this the obituary for the American people of the United States of America?
Please step back from all the many little flare ups that are happening and see the whole picture.

Wake up!! America is going to be run by the privileged few very very soon, and goodhearted people like you and me are going to be filling those prison camps.
Remember hitler? some say that never happened either.

Other than the fact that the world has been institutionalized under the devil’s authority, who rules by proxy; racism, and homosexuality have been the most devastating one-two punch that has perpetrated this country, and the world. These things, and others, reflect the venom of the prince of this world.
Racism is in the DNA; and talking people out of it will not work. As usual the only solution to the affairs of mankind is giving the gospel to everyone; and hoping, praying to God that the planted fall, On good soil, and yield crops.
In the parable of the Sower (Matthew 13:1-9, which is interpreted in verses 18-23) only a small percentage of recipients received the word and became fruitful — that’s the way it looks today. There is no way to talk Black people into going along with things the way they are any more. People are afraid to admit that police officers can be completely out of control; and if they are never reprimanded there is no reason why they should curb their brutality. Everyone is in the same boat.
