29 Incredible Facts Which Prove That Poverty In America Is Absolutely Exploding

Poverty In America - Photo by C.G.P. GreyDid you know that the number of Americans on welfare is higher than the number of Americans that have full-time jobs?  Did you know that 1.2 million public school students in the U.S. are currently homeless?  Anyone that uses the term "economic recovery" to describe what is happening in the United States today is being deeply insulting to the nearly 150 million Americans that are considered to be either "poor" or "low income" at this point.  Yes, things are great in New York City, Washington D.C. and San Francisco, but almost everywhere else economic conditions continue to steadily get worse.  The gap between the wealthy and the poor is at a level that America has never seen before, and this is beginning to create a "Robin Hood mentality" that could cause a tremendous amount of social chaos in the years ahead.  Anger at the "haves" in America continues to rise at a very alarming pace, and the "have nots" are becoming increasingly desperate.  At some point all of this anger is going to boil over, and you won't want to be anywhere around major population centers when that happens.  Despite unprecedented borrowing by the federal government in recent years, and despite unprecedented money printing by the Federal Reserve, poverty in the United States keeps getting worse with each passing year. The following are 29 incredible facts which prove that poverty in America is absolutely exploding...

1. What can you say about a nation that has more people getting handouts from the federal government than working full-time?  According to the latest numbers from the U.S. Census Bureau, the number of people receiving means-tested welfare benefits is greater than the number of full-time workers in the United States.

2. New numbers have just been released, and they show that the number of public school students in this country that are homeless is at an all-time record high.  It is hard to believe, but right now 1.2 million students that attend public schools in America are homeless.  That number has risen by 72 percent since the start of the last recession.

3. When I was growing up, it seemed like almost everyone was from a middle class home.  But now that has all changed.  One recent study discovered that nearly half of all public students in the United States come from low income homes.

4. How can anyone deny that we are a socialist nation when half the people are getting money from the federal government each month?  According to the most recent numbers from the U.S. Census Bureau, 49.2 percent of all Americans are receiving benefits from at least one government program.

5. Signs of increasing poverty are even showing up in the wealthiest areas of the nation.  According to the New York Post, New York subways are being "overrun with homeless".

6. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, approximately one out of every six Americans is now living in poverty.  The number of Americans living in poverty is now at a level not seen since the 1960s.

7. The gap between the rich and the poor in the United States is at an all-time record high.  The wealthy may not consider this to be much of a problem, but those at the other end of the spectrum are very aware of this.

8. The "working poor" is one of the fastest growing segments of the U.S. population.  At this point, approximately one out of every four part-time workers in America is living below the poverty line.

9. According to numbers provided by Wal-Mart, more than half of their hourly workers make less than $25,000 a year.

10. A recent Businessweek article mentioned a study that discovered that 300 employees at one Wal-Mart in Wisconsin receive a combined total of nearly a million dollars a year in public assistance...

“A decent wage is their demand—a livable wage, of all things,” said Representative George Miller (D-Calif.). The problem with companies like Wal-Mart is their “unwillingness, not their inability, to pay that wage,” he said. “They hand off the difference to taxpayers.” Miller was referring to a congressional report (PDF) released in May that calculated how much Walmart workers rely on public assistance. The study found that the 300 employees at one Supercenter in Wisconsin required some $900,000 worth of public assistance a year.

11. The stock market may be doing great (for the moment), but incomes for average Americans continue to decline.  In fact, median household income in the United States has fallen for five years in a row.

12. The quality of the jobs in America has been steadily dropping for years.  At this point, one out of every four American workers has a job that pays $10 an hour or less.

13. According to a Gallup poll that was recently released, 20.0% of all Americans did not have enough money to buy food that they or their families needed at some point over the past year.  That is just under the record of 20.4% that was set back in November 2008.

14. Young adults are particularly feeling the sting of poverty these days.  American families that have a head of household that is under the age of 30 have a poverty rate of 37 percent.

15. As I wrote about a few weeks ago, one out of every five households in the United States is on food stamps.  Back in the 1970s, about one out of every 50 Americans was on food stamps.

16. The number of Americans on food stamps now exceeds the entire population of Spain.

17. According to one calculation, the number of Americans on food stamps now exceeds the combined populations of "Alaska, Arkansas, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Maine, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming."

18. We are told that we live in the "wealthiest nation" on the planet, and yet more than one out of every four children in the United States is enrolled in the food stamp program.

19. The average food stamp benefit breaks down to approximately $4 per person per day.

20. It is being projected that approximately 50 percent of all U.S. children will be on food stamps before they reach the age of 18.

21. Today, approximately 17 million children in the United States are facing food insecurity.  In other words, that means that "one in four children in the country is living without consistent access to enough nutritious food to live a healthy life."

22. It may be hard to believe, but approximately 57 percent of all children in the United States are currently living in homes that are considered to be either "low income" or impoverished.

23. The number of children living on $2.00 a day or less in the United States has grown to 2.8 million.  That number has increased by 130 percent since 1996.

24. In Miami, 45 percent of all children are living in poverty.

25. In Cleveland, more than 50 percent of all children are living in poverty.

26. According to a recently released report, 60 percent of all children in the city of Detroit are living in poverty.

27. According to a Feeding America hunger study, more than 37 million Americans are now being served by food pantries and soup kitchens.

28. The U.S. government has spent an astounding 3.7 trillion dollars on welfare programs over the past five years.

29. It has been reported that 4 out of every 5 adults in the United States "struggle with joblessness, near-poverty or reliance on welfare for at least parts of their lives".

These poverty numbers keep getting worse year after year no matter what our politicians do.

So is there anyone out there that would still like to argue that we are in an "economic recovery"?

And as I mentioned above, the "have nots" are becoming increasingly angry at the "haves".  For example, just check out the following excerpt from a recent New York Post article...

The maniac who butchered a Brooklyn mom and her four young kids confessed that he did it because he was jealous of their way of life, a police source told The Post on Sunday.

The family had too much. Their income (and) lifestyle was better than his,” the source said.

The bloody suspect was caught holding the kitchen knife he used during the Saturday night rampage inside the Sunset Park apartment where he had been staying with the victims, the source added.

Sadly, this was not an isolated incident.  All over the western world, a "Robin Hood mentality" is growing.  This is something that I am so concerned about that I made it a big part of my new book.  At this point, even wealthy Hollywood-types such as actor Russell Brand are calling for a socialist-style "revolution" and a "massive redistribution of wealth".

Perhaps Brand does not understand that what he is calling for would mean redistributing most of his own wealth away from him.

When the next major wave of the economic collapse strikes, I fear that all of this anger and frustration that are growing among the poor will boil over in some very frightening ways.  I believe that we will see a huge spike in crime and that we will eventually see communities all over America looted and burning.

But I am not the only one that is thinking along these lines.  A new National Geographic Channel movie entitled "American Blackout" attempts to portray the social chaos that could erupt in the event of an extended national power failure...

American Blackout, National Geographic Channel’s two-hour, edge-of-your-seat movie event imagines the story of a national power failure in the United States caused by a cyberattack — told in real time, over 10 days, by those who kept filming on cameras and phones. You’ll learn what it means to be absolutely powerless.

You can view a clip of the film that was made available by NatGeo for the SHTFplan.com community right here.

What would you do if something like that happened to you?

How would you handle desperate, hungry people at your fence asking for food?

And what if those people were armed and were not "asking nicely" for your food?

Don't ignore what is happening in America right now.  It is setting the stage for some very chaotic times.

Get ready while you still can.

Oh man, I know a certain reader who must be salivating at the thought of wealth redistribution. ;-)

    • Rodster

      Salivating like Pavlov’s dog

    • Veronica

Greedy white men must surrender their wealth to the oppressed and this means women who were forced into your Natzi concentration homes to cook, clean and make babies. This era is a bright era for women who can live freely w/o any man dictating their patriarchy laws and regulations. I just has groupxxx with two of my girls and this felt empowering than being forced against my will by a oppressing husband. You men your masculine G*d and your Jeezus, Moohammad whatever can lick my poopchute for all I know!

      • Rhonda Renee Sessions

You’re sick in the head, girl!

        • Veronica

Don’t allow the men oppress you! The women’s right movement needs more support and members to foster an egalitarian society free from male oppression.

          • Rhonda Renee Sessions

I don’t need you to tell me to not allow men to oppress me. Even Jesus was FOR women being treated equally, and a true Christian man does that. You are liberal lesbian troll that is on here to disrupt the discussion of what is going to happen soon. I hope that you are able to KEEP your penthouse in the near future, because the way things are going, you’re going to be joining the homeless.

          • Tony Stewart

G o d Bless you for speaking out against the troll who is hopefully not a
miltary agent….I almost lost faith in the world when the Canadian
government were forcing their hoe-mo agenda to students….You should
check how Facebook is being infiltrated by the likes of Veronika….The
fascimist movement is going out of control with their leszbo and pro-peddle
            agenda..

          • Rhonda Renee Sessions

Typical liberal response… don’t like what you hear/read, and you resort to name-calling. Really an adult response, now, is it? Not.

          • jaxon64

lady..go take your meds. For someone pretending to be a successful and independent woman, you can’t even construct an adequate sentence. Are you a high schooler whose boyfriend just dumped her?

          • Malcolm Reynolds

What the hell does that trash even mean?
When you say oppression, you mean men interested in women don’t you?

      • Deb

I take great offense to your way of thinking. You are embarrassing. I appreciate men for who they are. You sound like a very lonely person.

    • davidmpark

We need to get him and the new fem-bot troll Veronica together for a romantic date. Imagine the chemistry between those kids!

Though she does sound a lot like my Grandma Veronica… creepy.

      • Hambone

And they can give birth to the next Howard Dean… oh my goodness, it’s just so beautiful…

        • davidmpark

We came here for prepping info, and also help two star-crossed lovers find each other! :) These are the moments that bring all sides together!! (tears)

      • El Pollo de Oro

Gary from Wisconsin was on a major liberal/progressive site a few months back having a vigorous and not-so-friendly debate with some angry radical feminists (very different audience on that site). The feminists were giving him hell, and he was giving it right back to them. Gary stepped right into the radical feminist lion’s den and was fearless about it.

          Imagine the honeymoon!

“When people lose everything and have nothing else to lose, THEY LOSE IT”

    Senor Celente

    • Ralfine

No, they go home and watch X-Factor, eat chips and drink booze.

      • Veronica

Men do that. Women are becoming more independent and we work harder than men yet we earn 50% less than white Christian males.

        • Catalin Oancea

Clearly you are COINTELPRO. Your absurd statements can’t come even from an insane person on medication. Christian bashing, racist, feminist; come on, you can’t have them all and still be able to type. You know you will lose, turn to Christ while you still can, once He’s gathered together His people, there is no turning to Him anymore; and I’m not talking about the “Rapture”, I’m talking about the gathering together of the saints (2 Thessalonians 2, Matthew 24). Reject the mark, don’t be a fool, or Christ will reject you.

          • RarefiedSnotress

Many of us.even non-Jews, don’t worry about Christ’s rejection and really, I don’t think you are the one to speak for him.

          • nekksys

And here I thought Christ compelled us to go out and bear witness of Him… We have Scripture to demonstrate His character to us so we should be able to reasonably conclude what He would do in any given situation.

I guess not though… The Fasciminists say we shouldn’t follow Christ’s commands and shouldn’t be discipled to Him so I guess we should all stop…

(Wow, it was tough getting through all that without laughing!!!)

You man-hating women kill me with your unfounded comments and lack of supporting evidence!!!

          • RarefiedSnotress

If you knew your Jesus, you would surely know he is a Shepherd not a Rejector you pompous self-appointed women-hating Nitwits.

          • nekksys

I think it’s clear you don’t know Christ at all…

          • Catalin Oancea

I’ve met people like you who get offended when all I do is say what the Bible says:

“And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they
have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and
whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” – Revelation 14:11

If that doesn’t sound like eternal rejection, maybe you can explain what does it mean.

            Christ also said this:

“42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.” – John 8:42-43

Then in verse 44 he calls them children of the devil, the greatest liar of them all. It is a logical implication that the children of the devil will love lies rather than truth.

“And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.” – John 8:45

The problem you people have is with the Father who places in our hearts the desire to speak His words, not with us as mere souls trapped in flesh and bones. True Christians are not themselves when preaching, rather Christ speaks through them; that gets the devils in or around you fired up, thus you get offended for no reason apparently if the Bible is just a fairy tale book. If you cannot accept the words of the Bible then your heart is not right with God.

By the way, are you a COINTELPRO like Veronica? I see you and her have the same indoctrinating attitude about you. Also, Christian men don’t hate women, it’s the insecure women who hate themselves which vent the hate towards men; the push for sodomy, feminizing the man, the elites know how to make you insecure about yourselves and then channel that frustration towards the most inane actions like the women’s rights movement and feminism. God gave women duties that men don’t belong to and men things to do that women have no business getting into. The devil knows the complementary nature of creation, that is why he creates conflict between the different parts, to break the balance. Everyone who seeks conflict is imbalanced and unstable, betraying a devilish nature.

          • RarefiedSnotress

Grimm’s Fairy Tales says: “and they lived happily ever after.”

          • Catalin Oancea

That’s why you won’t see as many people getting offended and trying to silence the Brother’s Grimm tales, they appeal to the sinful nature and hold no real moral value other than what you will find in a four year old. The Bible, on the other hand, gets people real mad. Why so mad if it’s just fiction? You don’t get mad at Lord of the Rings or Star Trek fans who dress like their favorite character and speak Klingon or whatever, they are just weird. But we Christians, we are a plague on society.

          • Gay Veteran

Lord of the Rings or Star Trek fans don’t try and impose their beliefs on others

          • davidmpark

Got to admit: there’s a point there. But, they know that what they do is fantasy. Christianity is not fantasy.

          • RarefiedSnotress

I’m a secret agent for Satan, Sweetie .. muah

          • Catalin Oancea

Then you will understand if I tell you to burn in hell with your lying father.
Nah, just joking, that’s what Satan would want, for you to be a blind fool. I hope you get saved and get to meet Jesus Christ, you will be so happy. If not, your loss; sad, but I’ll get over it, I have God to comfort me.

          • seth datta

Exactly. All she has done is subvert the arguments from the real issues and attempted to turn the site into a laughing stock, by inciting others to respond to her inflammatory trolling comments.

        • nekksys

Prove it. Quote one fact-based news article that supports this contention.

      • Jim Davis

Until the cable is cut off for non-payment and the booze runs out.

      • seth datta

Unfortunately, this correctly describes the UK.

        • Ralfine

Well, It seems people got a bit more settled after the last riots.

And now other people (in government and media) talk about economic growth again (0.8%) and some people see the next bubble coming.

(What would they do with a Chinese growth of 8%?)

  • davidmpark

What would you do if something like that happened to you?

First thing would be to contact the Bishop – the local Gov would be useless and we’d need to put our plans for this situation in effect.

Next would be to get power going. We have plans and blueprints for that. Water and sewage are an issue, but I have those plans at the ready (and that includes creating renewable fuels). Food will be a little more difficult but not impossible; some folks will make do with catching snails and pigeons to breed, unless we get the right to have small livestock again. There’s a gardening class that’s starting soon; WWII victory garden methods. We also have a local storehouse for the needy. Our chemistry lab is not big enough for small-scale commercial size, but there are ways to make-do with what’s available.

How would you handle desperate, hungry people at your fence asking for food?

We have a local storehouse for excess; we’d direct them there. Also, we have some plants in our front landscape that’s edible.

And what if those people were armed and were not “asking nicely” for your food?

We have a neighborhood patrol already. If needed, the Ward areas can be walled off for added security. And I have tools and a separate power supply so I can machine anything we’d need.

We’ve been working on this for years. :)

IF you are prepared, you shall not fear.

Men are weak. Women will rise against the patriarchy. In the name of Betty Friedan and Gloria Steinem the world will be in peace and equality. Men need to go. Darwin will assent to such a statement.

      • Rhonda Renee Sessions

Just as I though… a liberal who is not a Christian woman, herself. TRUE God-believing Christians, both men and women, don’t give a darn about what Darwin’s theory of evolution means! And it’s NOTHING but a theory… one that even Darwin himself refuted, before he died.

        • Gay Veteran

“…one that even Darwin himself refuted, before he died.”
          PROOF please

          • davidmpark

He gave a litmus test at the end of “The Origin of Man” that ends up discrediting the work. Even the scientific community at the time brought that up, along with the fossil record discrediting his theory of evolution.

          • Gay Veteran

obviously nothing has changed since 1882

      • nekksys

When the SHTF, try to have a baby without a man…

        • RarefiedSnotress

Oh God, it’s very easy to have a baby w/o a man. All one needs is sperm and that only requires a donor.
Bear attacks, Martians, Bible Thumpers.. us women will survive.

          • nekksys

But where does the sperm come from?

Men are not spermatozoa. So maybe she needs a man for 6 minutes in a lab by your standards.. happy?

      • Jacob

Men would crush women given the lack of societal restraints. Just as they did in the past. Trust me, it is better you work with men then against them, or you may find yourself chained to the shoe that stomps you.

Stop posting. Are you here to subvert this site away from the real issues? Did you get pumped and dumped recently? I don’t care about your issue; just get lost and stop ruining the site.

I kinda don’t those starving or in chronic pain would find that inspiring.

      • markthetruth

They would fall in my moat & be eaten by the alligators. Let them eat urinal cakes!

They have been slowly killing the middle class, since the seventies. In the sixties as a child my family lived in a middle class neighborhood. We had neighbors who owned planes, who owned good size boats. All of these folks were middle class. By the eighties, I did not know anyone who owned a plane or a boat. With each passing year people had less. Now it is hard for some to afford food. In the County I live in, 73% of the children are on the free meals program at school. Once they have everything you have, next them come for your life. The elites and the bankers are addicted to money, as bad as any drug addict is addicted to drugs. They are sick and evil people. So what would I do if someone shows up at my fence, and asks for food? Give it to them, for as long as I can. If they come to take it by force, resist to my last breath. What does it profit a man? To gain the entire world, if he loses his very soul.

    • Veronica

Men pfffttttt….I am a 25 year old female who works at a Top 5 bank in Manhattan. I earn enough money to put a $400,000 downpayment on my $1.5 million dollar loft and I am happier than ever that I don’t need any oppressing man to dictate what I should do or not do.
Women were oppressed since JEZZUS was spewing blasphemy against God’s chosen people. Yahweh is punishing you men and for a good cause! I hope you men rot in h-e-l-l!

      • Jim Davis

Soon may come a day when your banking “skills” won’t be worth much. When that day comes, you will probably want of those terrible creatures called men around.

        • Veronica

So what? I can apply for a teaching job and no I don’t need men those horrible creatures. You men are filthy and grotesque what is that long thingy hanging out from your torso yucky.

I strongly suspect that “Veronica” is really a frat boy who is pretending to be an angry, bitter radical feminist in order to get a reaction.

Big time with $26 extra on your hands?

      • K

Thank-you for proving my point. I pity you. That level of hate in one so young. Turn from it before it consumes you.

      • Tony Stewart

Americans should expel you and the rest of your troublemaking friends to Madasgascar and not Jerusalem!!!

      • Hambone

Just my $0.02, but to everyone except the lovely and charming Veronica, I really think we need to stop feeding the troll… she’s had enough to eat for one day.

If we ignore her, she might leave and go to the Planned Parenthood blog to be with her own kind.

        • Tony Stewart

True…maybe she and her fesicimist friends might censor Facebook because their views aren’t being heard.

        • RarefiedSnotress

I find her refreshing.. We all have our pretensions, don’t we. Some live in an apocalyptic fantasy, others a more luxurious one.

I think Veronica needs to go on a date with Prof. Tom Leykis and hear a dissertation on Leykis 101 (anyone who has heard “The Tom Leykis Show” will get the irony in that statement).

      • nekksys

I think K nailed you and your ilk spot on:

“The elites and the bankers are addicted to money, as bad as any drug addict is addicted to drugs. They are sick and evil people.”

You show your addiction by stating you can drop $400K on a $1.5M loft.

Then, you choose one, miniscule phrase and make her post all about that one, little phrase… “What does it profit a man?” A single phrase from a Scriptural passage the whole of which reads,

“What does it profit a man if he should gain the whole earth but lose his very soul?”

You, dear Lady, have done that very thing. You may well have gained the whole of the earth yet you have lost your very soul because you give safe harbor to hatred. You spew such acid from your lips yet I’m sure there were many men who helped you on your way to the top… Several of your college professors, your first employer, the owner of the company you work for at this very moment… I’m sure it never occurred to you to give thanks to the men who marched alongside your predecessors in order to get women the voting rights they so desperately deserved in 1920s. No, I’m sure that thought hasn’t even occured to you.

Lady, outwardly you could be the most beautiful woman this world has ever seen making even legendary Helen of Troy pale in comparison. Yet the stench of rot and decay in your very core makes you the ugliest beast I will ever know.

Jesus told us that where a person’s treasure is there is their heart also… I hope you realize that money will never have the ability to truly satisfy the spiritual needs in your life! Whatever reason you have for disliking men in general, I hope that God heals your heart so you can one day you can have a trusting relationship with a man you can respect and love. In Jesus name I ask that God would touch your heart and heal you, so that you can have the kind of relationship with men that you should be able to have without the excess baggage!

I’m in Florida. I see tons of boats. Sounds like a regional thing. My ex-bf in NY had a boat,a very high-paying job, and enough stress to kill him at 52 making him an eternal bachelor..I found out he died through his yacht club website. Boats aren’t everything..

      • K

As you say yourself, he had a high paying job. I was pointing out that many things are now beyond middle class means, that used to not be.

        • Reality BetraysUs

NEWSFLASH! Youtube has a video on this world banker explaining that the previous distribution of wealth was USAworld 8020 percent in 1990, in the future this will shift to USA 40%, World60%, you can see this when Apple refused to bring back their profits from oversees last year because they would have had to pay 35% tax on it, so they are leaving in foreign countries to grow without taxation! This is just one reason why the USA will continue to get poorer each yr as time goes on…

          • Guest

It’s an easy fix. But not a politically expedient one.

It’s smart not to go outside and confront any one for any reason..for your families sake! If you have a wife and girls, they could get raped. Your family comes ahead of anyone else. That beggar in the movie, later brought all his friends to break in the man’s compound. If you don’t brag/blab your biz, you will be safer. Donate food to a third party like a church pantry as James Rawles advised on his website. Remain anonymous and low key. Anything else is stupid.

I would normally agree, all of your advice is excellent. But my place is remote and high in the mountains. And during the winter it averages 3 feet of snow on the ground. You hit the nail on the head! Jesus said what will it profit a man if he gain the whole world but loses his soul! He also said that we should learn to be content with what we have! Even proverbs says it is better to ask God for just enough so that you will not be so poor so as to have to steal to eat, but not so rich that you become arrogant and forget that God is your maker… As a contrast someone once asked Rockefeller how much is enough? His answer: Always just a little bit more… The rich are never satisfied with what they have and the bible tells us that their riches will be a judgement in the last days against them!

      • K

I have always seen wealth as a sickness. But it is only lately having reached the status of old man. That I see how deep that sickness goes. Wealth beyond a certain point, is just dead weight on your Soul.

The greater sickness is envy and laziness.

    • James Vaughan

I believe that Pierce Brosnan, playing James Bond, said it best when addressing a sexy but evil temptress: The world is not enough. Incidentally, I also believe that is exactly what a certain J.C. told a certain S. in the desert at the end of forty days.

    • Albert8184

Not surprising that they want to kill the middle class. Read Marx. And no, the citizens are addicted to money. The bankers and the elites are just addicted to the power that comes in exchange for the handouts..

  • Ralfine

If you were a socialist nation you’d have free healthcare for everyone and free school and university.

The banks and the defense industry were state owned, and the major industries, especially fuel, heavy industry, railway, transport, communication, postal services.

When half your people are paid by the state to survive this seems to me that the government is owned by the industry.
And the industry decides that the taxpayer is paying the bill for people creating profit for the industry.

The patriarchy must collapse. This age is a bright age for women. I am independent and I can flaunt my cleavage and if any male dares to stare at it I can spray mase into his eyes and call the police to imprison him for at least 30 years for sxxual assault.

White adult males are responsible for the patriarchy and we as white women are oppressed by these fiends. A 14 year old male is more obedient to women than a 18 year old misogynist white male. Females must stand up against the adult men and if they have intercourse with underaged boys, then women must stand together to decriminalize female to minor relationships. The patriarchy is depriving women’s rights to their bodies and orientation.

The “war on poverty”, BIG GARGANTUAN, DEVOURING, ROMANESQUE STYLE GOVERNMENT, the great entitlement left wing society, like everything they touch, is an abject failure in of itself and for everything around it. Our left wing, secular society is rising and crashing at the same time. It will also bring down so much around its perimeter. This shift away from our Judaio-Christian foundations metastasized on 8+15+1969 and is in full bloom as we sit. Any sane society would give Judaio-Christian Constitutional conservatism a rebirth. There is no need for hatred. There are pockets of Satanists, scribes and Pharisees that have bored their way into all Christian faiths. Any so called Christian, this includes the Catholic hierarchy, who consistently has not placed a Pro-Life agenda in the forefront of their voting ballot and life action, is a sell out, a fake, a phony and a fraud. This is a core value to any true Christian/person of God and cannot be bargained away/sold for 30 pieces of silver, in order to justify voting for someone like Ted Kennedy, Nancy Pelosi, Joe Biden, John Kerry, Bill Clinton, Barack Obama, et. als. • davidmpark

Here’s a little helper — build a wind turbine with what’s laying around:

The typical electricity-generating windmill is available in kit form or as a do-it-yourself design. A simple 1X6 can be carved into a two-sided propellor and fitted onto an alternator. The alternator is placed on the flat side of a 2X4, about 6′ long; whittled to a 2X2 from middle to the other end. A 2′X4′ fin of metal or plywood would work for a directional fin. About 2′ back from the alternator on the 2X4, cut the latter perpendicular ’til it comes off and reattach on one side with a strong hinge. On the alternator side attach a 2X2 4′ long with a 1′X2′ square fin on the end. This is your governor and can have a cut off cord attached. On the bottom, attach a 3/4″ sch 80 conduit or steel pipe using a collar screwed underneath of the narrowing side of the 2X4; this is your mounting. Attach a 1″ sch 80 conduit or steel pipe to a 4X4 and secure this to a tall object. Run wires from alternator down a hole through the 2X4 into the 3/4″ pipe and into the 1″ pipe, and down to your lights or battery bank.

    Hope this is helpful!

    • davidmpark

There’s also running an alternator attached to a small rototiller motor. Looking for some plans; thought it was in my library…

      • davidmpark

        Okay, found it.

Haven’t built this one yet. But the idea is to use a horizontal shaft rototiller motor or tractor motor. A vertical shaft will work; it’s just a little a tricky, but for the sake of space, I’ll stick with the horizontal shaft tractor motor. Attach your car’s alternator as this is usually the best option using any tight fitting pipe and attach with any through bolt necessary. Make sure your alternator has a voltage regulator, or you might burn out your inverter, batteries, or wires. This is a good backup to the windmill turbine.

By converting to use natural gas, one can build a anaerobic digester and get free natural gas. Or build a gasifier and use wood gas (methanol) to power the generator.
Either one can work if gasoline becomes a problem.

        • nekksys

Wood gas isn’t entirely methanol. It contains methanol as well as other hydrocarbons similar to gasoline and diesel. Even so it’s a great alternative to fossil fuels and returns a pretty good amount BTUs compared to gasoline.

      • MeMadMax

Even better is a “wood gas” generator. Brits used it during WW2 when the germans were about to cut off all gas supplies to the brits…. Worth checking out. Its gas that can be used to power your normally gasoline powered vehicle even thou there is none…

        • davidmpark

I have looked into it and I love the idea of methanol!

Best parts are the gasifier is so much easier to build and operate than the anaerobic digester and helps deal with difficult to compost organic leftovers.

The only problem might be that the gas from the wood hopper needs to be forced through the filter with a pump – that needs electricity most of the time. A mill powered pump (wind or water) can do this job without the need for power, though.

  • DJohn1

People are just beginning to figure out they have been sold down the river by the Representatives in both houses of Congress and Presidents from both Political Parties.
Ross said it best. That sucking sound you hear is your jobs going South to Mexico.

Clinton signed agreements selling all working people down the river.
Then you had Reagan’s cronies in the labor department that did some pretty illegal things against the working people of this country. So we had Bush for 8 years and now Obama.
Not one of these people have been for the working classes of this country.
But the sheep are slow to react. Like most herd animals they only react in a total panic and stampede.
Well we are way beyond jobs going to Mexico now. Now jobs are going to China and India. Taiwan used to be a favorite along side South Korea and a few others.
This whole scene has happened before in Britain. They put all the jobs in the cheap labor countries in the Empire. Then WWII came along and after that it was all down hill for the British People.
Those companies in the colonies all over the world? They were nationalized by the governments of the colonies as they all declared independence from Britain. Nationalized is a semi-polite way of stealing a company.
Thing is it didn’t really work. All the repair parts were elsewhere. A lot of those factories are now empty with broken machines with no way to fix them.
Love to break it to you greedy souls in management in these companies exporting our jobs. History repeats itself for those that don’t learn from history.
All those factory jobs in China? Well nations go to war. All those factories will be nationalized by China some where down the road.
Then these greedy little corporations will go bankrupt.
The only thing we can do here is fire the people in that Congress and the Presidency that allowed it to happen. Right now the only thing that will work is to start over with a brand new bunch.
Then we have to have representatives that are going to look out for our interests for a change. Personally, I think we have waited too long for this to be accomplished in a short period of time.
The only way this economy is going to heal is for it to go down the tubes and start over.

  • Brendan Anthony

‘Exploding’ is correct, because a downturn has it’s own spiraling momentum that quickens as businesses without customers layoff workers who can no longer be customers elsewhere, and on it goes!

A strong family structure & lots of work is the only thing that’ll save this republic. Not taxing the rich, corporations, or more so-called civil rights legislation Obama & the Democrats always talk about.

    • Richard

Sorry, I hate to remind you, but it was “the Lord” that was behind the current situation in the first place.

      • jaxon64

Do you mean that when the Lord gave us free will He caused this?
That a loving God who did not want a bunch of robots but instead chose to give us the ability for self determination is at fault…because we are allowed to reap what we have sown?
So that if I choose to disavow and deny Him a place in my life on earth that in death He will honor my wishes and have me seperated from Him?
If this is what you refer to as the Lord being behind it all–then yes, you are actually right..

        • jakartaman

Free will and predestination co-exist. You make a decision and that path is predetermined until another decision changes the path.

    • laura m.

Cannuck 21 and others: The Nat. Geo show “when the lights go out” last eve shows the fix most will be in: trapped in an elevator or underground subway, on the hwy, in a high rise condo, etc. The two sons of that prepper dad had no parental discipline period, and blabbed everything to the neighbors. Then they were raided. Folks, don’t tell anyone you are stockpiling, stay low key for safety and your family. Don’t tell your kids since kids will blab anyway. When the hammer drops discipline the kids to do as they are told. But then, kids will cuss out the parents because of their ill upbringing, so it’s best they run off and fend for themselves. Family life today is a total farce w/kids ruling the home. Get barter networks started to incl skills, hand tools, etc. Adults shouldn’t have to be “advised” on prepping, etc. any more than when to take a bath, or have their car serviced. Everyone is resp. for their household and to MYOB . Most people are stuck in stupid anyway and have zero common sense.

      • nekksys

Side thought here: When the SHTF, those loud mouth kids who think Mommy and Daddy Prepper won’t shoot them to shut them up will have a HUGE surprise coming…

The NDAA makes hoarding illegal in times of emergancy so were martial law be declared the government would just take your stuff anyway.

Kids should be taught like the Jewish kids or Native American kids. Obedience could save their lives.

“A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.”

…..I would add to that that every human should be able to shoot a gun and ride a horse.

I’d like to see Michael to an article listing the reasons why and how we got into this predicament and point to the characters responsible. We know where we are and where we’re going to end up…but let’s do some troubleshooting here to get to the root of why that is. There are players out there pulling strings. If we go after their puppets, my guess is they will gladly give their puppet masters if “conditions” are right.

    • RarefiedSnotress

Michael’s style is mainly to quote, deride, and have you worry.

      • Richard

I don’t really agree but I do wish he’d stop the “tear-jerking” language which was the object of my post above. His prose would be so much stronger if he’d let US be the arbiter of how serious (sorry, absolutely serious!) this crisis is. I’ve been saying this from the very beginning and he’s “improved” immensely (remember the repeated words: “very very”, “really really”)? They’ve all gone and I must congratulate him on a superb job of information which is unequalled anywhere else that I know of on the blogosphere.
Keep up the good work, Michael ;)

        • jaxon64

and yes Richard–if you’ll notice on #22 Michael wrote, ” It may be hard to believe but…”
Which is leaps and bounds above the “if you can believe it…”
Keep up the good work Michael and keep improving–to keep striving to improve may be the essence of human nature.

I’m not worried… In fact, I embrace the coming collapse. I have everything in order to survive it all quite well and be fine condition after.

Michael pulls data together and puts it into a cohesive collection where you can derive your own conclusions. That why he ends his articles with questions so often…

Besides, if you don’t like them, don’t read them and go find another site to troll.

And try Thinking Deep for a change.

        • RarefiedSnotress

The articles are an interesting cut-and-paste compendium of other’s statististics and quotes to which Michael generally adds his derisions to fear monger. I find it slanted yet interesting. I enjoy the reparte on the blogs. I’ll be here to keep you thinking even if I make you defensive and inaccurately insulting.

      • Ayn Rand

How interesting a viewpoint. You appear to believe that everything is fine and dandy in the world. How is that? When our currency is rapidly inflating, the elite are taking home more than their fair share, and poverty is spreading like the black plague. Things are getting tough, whether you listen to Michael or not. I have a question, what is going right in this world, in your opinion?

  • Richard

What is the difference between “Poverty is Absolutely Exploding” and “Poverty Is Exploding?

    • Richard

By the way, I should add that this is a really excellent article ;)

    • Tim

“Absolutely” is an adverb that modifies “exploding.” It means with no qualification, restriction or limitation.

Aren’t you the guy who tried to correct Michael’s grammar in another article that he wrote several weeks ago? I believe the article was about the problems with the Obamacare website.

      • Richard

I’m thrilled at your interpretation, Tim. Perhaps you could regale us with an account of an explosion that you are familiar with which is, in fact, “qualified, restricted or limited”. I am all ears.

Michael couldn’t resist that dopey “4 out of every 5 adults in the United States “struggle with joblessness, near-poverty or reliance on welfare for at least parts of their lives”. statistic again.
The food stamp and welfare numbers are bad, but just who are we counting in? What segments of population? Retirees?..most can stash their assets easily enough to get on food stamps.. especially when they know they are getting a reliable social security check.
Children? It’s probably the case that more low-income people have children than high-income.. you would think the opposite, but that’s likely the way it is.
Maybe we should make a statistic that only includes working age adults for a more accurate view of the food stamp and benefit thing.
Urban areas are still the way to go for many people.. better jobs, opportunities to meet singles, etc.
Suggesting that people, especially young people, live in sprawled out areas or the woods, probably isn’t the best advice.
I plan to move further into the city in the near future.

It’s obvious that in the west, and specially in the USA, we need to change the rules of the markets, taxes and so on, in a way that guarantees an important wealth redistribution. Working people is heavily taxed, while financial income are not. I don’t think this is socialism, for me it’s only a fair playing field. In my opinion socialism is to create 85 billion every month and send it to the pockets of the rich.

Some form of hybrid democratic socialist system is the only answer when the ‘haves’ not only hoard all the wealth, but use that wealth to rig the system to hoard more wealth.

It works for the NFL, the most profitable sport in history. Shared revenues, salary caps, unionized workforce, universal healthcare, pensions, and strict, swiftly enforced penalties for violation of the rules.

Socialism doesn’t have to mean WE’RE TAKING ALL OF YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY AND GIVING IT TO LAZY PEOPLE. It means regulating those suffering from such an insane level of greed, they’re unable to control their insatiable appetite, no matter the consequences to society.

Our refusal to control the crazy money addicts is why we are where we are today. Nobody needs billions of dollars of personal wealth. Period. Either we put a leash on the uber-greedy maniacs, or we’re doomed.

    • maxparrish

Who is “our” and who is it that decides what that limit is? That is antithetical to the Constitution and what this country was based on, the opportunity for success— not the guarantee of success.

You…or we…don’t have to watch the NFL! This is the nature of competition.

“There is all the difference in the world, however, between two kinds of assistance through government that seem superficially similar: first, 90 percent of us agreeing to impose taxes on ourselves in order to help the bottom 10 percent, and second, 80 percent voting to impose taxes on the top 10 percent to help the bottom 10 percent — William Graham Sumner’s famous example of B and C decided what D shall do for A. The first may be wise or unwise, an effective or ineffective way to help the disadvantaged — but it is consistent with belief in both equality of opportunity and liberty. The second seeks equality of outcome and is entirely antithetical to liberty.”

IF the handful of people who KNOW what is going on do NOT rise up THEN America is OVER. IF there was movement to NOT pay taxes next year that could start a movement. WHO wouldn’t agree not to pay taxes under the present conditions? I don’t have reason to believe this will happen because Americans are lazy and complacent and the last resort is an armed run on the White House but they have seriously beefed up LEO especially in DC. Obama reportedly has three times the security of any other president before him. America is OVER

Wal-Mart has been in the news a lot lately and in those articles they are saying more than half of all Wal-Mart employees nationally are on government welfare.

  • tacoma

Some call the current economy ‘socialist’. This is wrong. The current economy has a large welfare state component, but it is hardly socialist.

But why did this happen? It happened because of failure of the American form of capitalism. It is a form that is unsustainable and will result in society collapse. The headlines of crimes and decay, insane amount of debt, is prove positive that American style of economics has failed.

Capitalism is good for the private economy – this is well established and has been adopted by vast majority of countries in the world. But no single economic system can work for everybody and on everything.

There are many things a capitalist system cannot work – which is why there is a government sector, a public sector, a NGO sector, a volunteer industry, a family welfare sector, a fine art sector, a basic science research economy, a aerospace exploration industry, a pubic health sector, a financial and transportation regulator sector, a …. you get the point.

Capitalism requires a capital to invest and a return on investment on a reasonable time frame. This is taught in economic 101 courses. But there are many things that cannot have such a return, or the return will violate capitalism rules, or people just don’t want such a return.

Do you want you fire department to have a ROI? They won’t put out a fire until you make a payment to satisfy their ROI profitability. Or do you want the vast amount of money you paid to educate your kids a capitalist ROI? You will unlikely get your money back from your kids you know. So why do you do it – raise you kids without a financial ROI? Because you love your kids far more than your capitalism ideology.

Therefore a successful economy requires a sound balance between a capitalist private economy where there must be a profit, a welfare economy where profit is not essential but income and expense must balance, and a social economy where the state runs things funded by taxation because simply this is what people want.

It takes a smart country to balance these 3 to produce a net wealth gain and a happy society. And this is exactly where USA has failed. It let the private economy prosper at the expense of welfare, yet let the social sector prosper from debt financing. The result is a large section of the middle class goes into welfare after being rejected by the capitalist sector, while the social & welfare sectors combined suck in ever more debt to stay alive.

But why does this happened? I think it’s because the USA, after the Cold War, has allowed itself transformed into a pure capitalist marketplace. It is a country in name only. Can a country be just a pure marketplace? Well, if it can, then there is no need to have a country in the first place. Because in a marketplace ‘jungle’, the strong will always win and the weak will always die, which is reflected in a capitalist private sector. They invented a thing called country precisely to not have a pure economic jungle.

I think that most articles, including this one about poverty tend to ignore the hidden economy. Many of the people on welfare, EBT, etc. earn a significant income through the drug trade, prostitution and various vices. A short drive through any housing project will reveal luxury cars, children with smart phones and designer named clothing. In the country many of the recipients of government subsidies are supplementing their income with methamphetamine production, EBT scams and many other illicit activities. Measuring true poverty is a very difficult task in today’s United States.

Americans are used to being “entertained”, as if the nightly news were a fictional TV drama, by the horrors of growing poverty, desperation and extreme violence already firmly entrenched in many societies abroad. Imagine when it suddenly sneaks in their own back doors while they’re half asleep and channel surfing on their cozy sofas. This nation is receiving a spine-chilling wake-up call, but so many just keep hitting the snooze button.

Yep those conservative funnel all the wealth to the top and cut taxes for the rich sure are not working.

We need to heavily tax corporations like walmart and spread the wealth to their workers so the tax payer does not subsidize their low wage model.

Tax the greedy to help the needy!

    • ConcernedAmerican

What concerns me about taxes is:

      1) When is the last time a financially poor person was placed in political power? If poor people were placed in power, how long would it be before they were bought/paid off and just like the others?

      2) If politicians are wealthy, and they are making the rules and laws, will they make laws that take their own wealth?

      3) If the wealthy make tax loopholes for themselves, and their corporate friends, who will pay the taxes? It will be passed to the working-class people, as usual.

Check out how much in taxes many companies actually pay.

It will never be fair. There are people on earth that enjoy making things miserable and unfair for other people. There is no law or tax that can make those people fair, or kind.

      • 2Gary2

You may be correct about #1 however, we do know that financially rich people do a poor job so I would be willing to try a poor person.

        • ConcernedAmerican

Corporate welfare is so much higher that any welfare for the poor.

    • ConcernedAmerican

There is a website, House the Homeless, that has some interesting information on it. I am currently reading his book “Looking up at the bottom line.”

I know many very hard-working people that are living paycheck to paycheck, or that are living in debt just to pay basic bills. I have met full-time workers that can not afford electricity or choose between food and heat in the winter. I remember a time in America where a mechanic or a janitor could not only support themselves and a family, but many working people were able to save and send their kids to college. We have gone from working people being able to send their kids to college to some working people wondering if they will be able to afford basic things, after working all day.

Something is very wrong and broken when a working person can not afford basic bills for themselves. Yet, people ask why others are not having children or getting married. Who can afford to?

The wealthy and rich can buy peace by agreeing to wealth redistribution. Their wealth is not really theirs anyway. The rich have stolen our productivity gains since the 1970′s and its time for pay back.

Wealth for peace–seems like a pretty good deal top me. Simply look at El Pollo’s description of the DPDDTT–Desperate People Doing Desperate Things Tax.

Spread the wealth for peace–all the rich MF should re-read the below from Micheal’s post. Guess their wealth did not save them. Sharing may have. It does not matter if people agree with this it is simply the way of things unless the wealth is spread.

The maniac who butchered a Brooklyn mom and her four young kids confessed that he did it because he was jealous of their way of life, a police source told The Post on Sunday.

“The family had too much. Their income (and) lifestyle was better than his,” the source said.

The bloody suspect was caught holding the kitchen knife he used during the Saturday night rampage inside the Sunset Park apartment where he had been staying with the victims, the source added.

Michael–more poor bashing yet nary a mention of the corporations that are the real welfare queens. I know you are throwing red meat to the low information conservatives who read this article and blog but come on really? You know corporate welfare is way way higher than any welfare for the poor yet you in typical conservationism fashion bash the poor.

This is one of many reasons conservatism is crashing and burning as people can see the moral bankruptcy that conservatism is.

Just wait until conservative Obama is out–us liberals will be taking over and we will tax the f out of the rich and scum like walmart.

    • ConcernedAmerican

Many poor people are hard-working, honest, kind, intelligent people. There are some poor that will give their last dollar to someone in need. There are some poor people in America that have confessed to having to go and get water from creeks and streams, which is hard work, just so they can drink, bathe, and cook. Some poor are mechanics, construction workers, carpenters, etc., also hard work. So, how is it that hard working people are so poor nowadays if so many employers are paying fair wages?

If people are looking for a free ride, where are these great jobs they are passing up to live on welfare and food stamps? Are there sone people that take advantage? Yes. However, many of the poor I have met have had to eat every other day in order to make their benefits last the whole month, and that was buying very cheap foods. Many of the poor I have met would gladly take a living wage job to enjoy financial freedom.

      • no what i mean vern?

Yes, and the poor eat unhealthy food. They do this for a number of reasons. Number one, they have very little pleasure in their lives so food becomes their only escape. They don’t see a way out of their miserable lives and say, “f_ck it?” I’ll die at 40. Number two, GMO, high fructose corn syrup crap tastes good and all requires little effort to prepare. Number three, and sometimes they live in places that don’t have adequate kitchens/ stoves/ cookware.
It ain’t a pretty picture. Not much to cheer about if you’re not one of the one percent. Now’s not the time to start throwing stones at each other. Jes sayin’ .

  • 2Gary2

The question becomes one of why should tax payers subsidize the store
owners private wealth which is what is happening. Not paying living
wages costs us all whether or not we shop there. Maybe a little less
owner profits and a little better employee pay would solve my
    subsidizing millionaires issues.

Walmart low wages proves you can’t achieve a WIN/WIN result. welfare
payments to Walmart part timers and tax reductions may cost the public

This gives the impression that wait staff is not valuable. Yet, how many people want to go and eat at a restaurant without wait staff? The working class are the only reason most businesses exist and succeed.

    4. How can anyone deny that we are a socialist nation when half the people are getting money from the federal government each month? According to the most recent numbers from the U.S. Census Bureau, 49.2 percent of all Americans are receiving benefits from at least one government program.

With all due respect, in those “European socialist welfare states” people are doing much better than here, poverty is the exception rather than the norm. Sure some places like Italy, Spain, Portugal face problems going forward, but that is only because they are not allowed to use their currency exchange rate vs. Euro and $ to re-balance their competitiveness (which they did successfully until the Euro-fun.

Michael I would take issue with you that the USA is a socialist nation especially when you point out yourself that the gap between the haves and have nots is bigger than ever.
In my opinion what you have is a combination of socialism and extreme capitalism/fascism. In order for those at the very top to take most of the spoils under the extreme capitalism system many must lose out further down. The ones further down however are kept going by socialist policies which redistribute wealth from the middle classes, the people at the top having sufficient tax evasion methods and lawyers to prevent them losing that much by redistribution. So the socialist policies, whilst needed by the have nots, are actually enabling an extremely unequal system to persist because otherwise the have nots would riot and bring the whole thing down. Extreme capitalism without the socialist bit would not work, it would destroy itself. Socilaism could then be described as the redistribution of wealth from the middle to the lower to enable the upper to keep getting more of the ‘pie’ in a rotten system. As the upper keeps taking more of the pie the middle will get more and more squeezed.

We have Crony Capitalism in the USA.

This country continues to vote democratic at the Poles without knowing the candidate or the issues on the table. As Einstein has said, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again expecting different results. WISE UP VOTERS. Do your research, know the candidate, know his ideology, know his background, know his affiliations, know his education, know where he was born, know his past voting record….make an intelligent decision. Your future and your children’s future depends upon it!

The party for the poor, the Democratic Party is the party for the poor…..that is why they keep them that way….!!!

I wouldn’t put a lot of stock in how many people are on food stamps. They have been using billboards in Spanish to help people get signed up, along with many other forms of advertising. I know a fellow who was on food stamps who had a brand new home (which I have never owned). His wife was having babies one after another. Just because people are on food stamps, doesn’t necessarily mean they are poor. The government has been promoting this welfare program as a means of buying votes. Under the current president, food stamp recipients have sky rocketed – because they wanted it to. There was a time when people would go without rather than be on public assistance, but those days are gone.

The Bible says that in the last days the people will not be able to tolerate strong doctrine. We are there now. Consequently we are flooded with a plague of hate filled low information posters. They are pathetic loser Democrats who can only function as cancerous trolls.

Too bad they infect the whole Internet with their illiterate hate trying to ruin a good thing. They are the enemy of all reasoned speech, and good material for the totalitarianism that is on its way. Too bad they don’t realize that they will be the first victims when the dictatorship arrives.

The Gini Index measures the spread of income in a society. The higher the number the greater the spread. Here is a partial list of Gini Index by country:
    http://www.photius.com/rankings/economy/distribution_of_family_income_gini_index_2011_0.html

Money is power, and in unrestrained capitalism, the rich will keep getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer, until one person(or family, at least) owns everything and everybody else is their servant.
We don’t advocate equal-sized slices of the economic pie for everyone, those who contribute more individual initiative should get a bigger slice than those who contribute less. Nevertheless, we do advocate limiting the range of sizes of the slices.
For the laws of natural selection to work there must be winners and losers in a fair competition. But here and now the competition is not fair, and we have top Boeing aeronautical engineers among the losers.

But there is something more important than where a country’s social order sits on the left-right political spectrum. That something is: who owns the country’s currency. The same group of Jewish bankers owns most of the world’s currencies and the governments rent their currencies from them. And this is true pretty much regardless of where a country sits on the left-right political spectrum. They own the currencies of countries with such diverse positions on the left-right political spectrum as, the US, Russia, UK, all of the EU, Israel, all of Latin America, Africa, and most of the Middle East (except Iran), and they are making inroads into China.
Once these people own a country’s currency, the country soon slips into slavery to them. I don’t have time to go into the details of how a private-currency ponzi-scheme works. But pretty soon the bankers own everything and the people become homeless slaves in their own native land.

A “communist” revolution is a pretty vague label. Any revolution regardless of label, must target the parasitic currency Ponzi-schemers. Anything less and they will still be in power after the revolution. For example: the American revolution of 1776. It targeted the King instead of the parasitic Ponzi schemers who owned the Bank of England, and whom the king was hopelessly indebted to. They owned America before and after the revolution and they still do today.

A revolution regardless of label, must target the currency Ponzi-schemers. After they are gone, and the currency issuing power(1) is restored to the government of the people whence it was stolen, then the people can decide where they want the country to sit on the left-right political spectrum, and what they want the country’s Gini index to be.

By the way: The narrowest spread in incomes between rich and poor is to be found in the N European countries, and they don’t call themselves communist.

We usually do not know the full situation of these people but would love to see what I can do to help that chap in the photo. A heartbreaking scene indeed.

There will come a time when we will need someone’s assistance.

    Help now, ask questions later.

Its a shame some of these massive wealth doesn’t make its way to some of the very needy. Some of those with wealth just share it with the person in the mirror.

There will come a time when all that wealth will be thrown out into the streets…true…what profits a man if he gain the whole world and looses his own soul.
