40 Volcanoes Are Erupting Right Now, And 34 Of Them Are Along The Ring Of Fire

Volcano Erupting - Public DomainYou may not have noticed, but our planet is becoming increasingly unstable.  According to Volcano Discovery, 40 volcanoes around the globe are erupting right now, and only 6 of them are not along the Ring of Fire.  If that sounds like a very high number to you, that is because it is a very high number.  As I have written about previously, there were a total of 3,542 volcanic eruptions during the entire 20th century.  When you divide that number by 100, that gives you an average of about 35 volcanic eruptions per year.  So the number of volcanoes that are erupting right now is well above the 20th century’s average for an entire calendar year.  And of course we are witnessing a tremendous amount of earthquake activity as well.  Nepal was just hit by the worst earthquake that it had seen in 80 years, and scientists are telling us that the Himalayas actually dropped by an astounding 3 feet as a result of that one earthquake.  How much more does our planet have to shake before people start paying attention?

Of course the things that we have been seeing lately are part of a much larger long-term trend.  Seismic activity appears to have been getting stronger over the past few decades, and now things really seem to be accelerating.  The following is how one news source recently summarized what we have been witnessing…

If it seems like earthquakes and erupting volcanoes are happening more frequently, that’s because they are. Looking at global magnitude six (M6) or greater from 1980 to 1989 there was an average of 108.5 earthquakes per year, from 2000 to 2009 the planet averaged 160.9 earthquakes per year: that is a 38.9% increase of M6+ earthquakes in recent years. Unrest also seems to be growing among the world’s super-volcanoes. Iceland (which is home to some of the most dangerous volcanoes on the planet), Santorini in Greece, Uturuncu in Bolivia, the Yellowstone and Long Valley calderas in the U.S., Laguna del Maule in Chile, Italy’s Campi Flegrei – almost all of the world’s active super-volcanic systems are now exhibiting some signs of inflation, an early indication that pressure is building in these volcanic systems.

But of course most Americans are never going to care about any of this until it starts affecting them personally.

Well, perhaps they should start paying attention to the warning signs.  In recent weeks we have seen significant earthquakes in Michigan, Texas, Mississippi, California, Idaho And Washington.  In addition, it is being reported that pressure is building in dormant volcanoes in Arizona and California.  Just because we have not had a killer earthquake or a large volcanic eruption in the U.S. in recent years does not mean that it will always be that way.  Right now the entire planet appears to be waking up, and this especially seems to be true of the Ring of Fire.

If you are not familiar with the Ring of Fire, just imagine a giant ring that runs around the outer perimeter of the Pacific Ocean.  Approximately 90 percent of all earthquakes and approximately 75 percent of all volcanic eruptions occur within this area, and the entire west coast of North America is considered to be part of the Ring of Fire.

For so long, the west coast has been incredibly blessed not to have experienced a major seismic event.  But scientists tell us that it is only a matter of time.

And right now, just about every other part of the Ring of Fire is shaking violently.

For example, a magnitude 6.8 earthquake just hit Japan on Wednesday

A magnitude-6.8 earthquake that shook northeast Japan on Wednesday was an aftershock of the devastating 2011 quake that triggered a massive tsunami and nuclear power plant meltdown.

“We consider this morning’s earthquake to be an aftershock of the 2011 Northeastern Pacific Earthquake,” said Yohei Hasegawa, an official at the Japanese meteorological agency.

The temblor, which struck just after 6 a.m. local time (5 p.m. ET Tuesday), was sparked by the Pacific tectonic plate “subducting,” or moving under, the main land plate, he added.

Hasegawa warned that more tremors may be on the way.

One Japanese expert is warning that Japan “might have entered an era of great earthquakes and volcanic eruptions“, and considering the immense devastation that the great earthquake and tsunami of 2011 caused, that is a very sobering assessment.

Meanwhile, a series of very strong earthquakes have struck Papua New Guinea recently as well.  The following comes from the Washington Post

A powerful earthquake rattled Papua New Guinea on Thursday, the fourth strong quake to hit the South Pacific island nation in a week. The temblor prompted officials to issue a local tsunami warning, but it was lifted shortly afterward with no reports of damage.

The 7.1-magnitude quake struck about 150 kilometers (94 miles) southwest of the town of Panguna on Bougainville Island at a depth of 23 kilometers (14 miles), the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

Once again, just because things have always been a certain way does not mean that they will always be that way.

As Americans, we are not accustomed to being concerned about major earthquakes and massive volcanic eruptions, but that could soon change in a big way.

The truth is that our planet and our sun are changing in ways that are unpredictable and that our scientists don’t completely understand.

For example, a recent LiveScience article discussed the fact that scientists are deeply puzzled by the fact that the magnetic field of our planet is getting weaker 10 times faster than previously believed…

Scientists already know that magnetic north shifts. Once every few hundred thousand years the magnetic poles flip so that a compass would point south instead of north. While changes in magnetic field strength are part of this normal flipping cycle, data from Swarm have shown the field is starting to weaken faster than in the past. Previously, researchers estimated the field was weakening about 5 percent per century, but the new data revealed the field is actually weakening at 5 percent per decade, or 10 times faster than thought. As such, rather than the full flip occurring in about 2,000 years, as was predicted, the new data suggest it could happen sooner.

And in a previous article, I discussed how one scientist has discovered that activity on the sun is declining at a faster pace “than at any time in the last 9300 years” right now.

I don’t pretend to have all the answers for why these things are happening, but clearly some very unusual things are taking place.

So what do you think?

Do you believe that you know why our planet and our sun are experiencing such dramatic changes?

You to have been fortold of in the bible kuke chapter 21 verses 10 through 13. Say what you will it matters not to me, I know where I stand.

“I realize that this will disappoint many Christians.

If the great tribulation is over, then the Rapture
is not scheduled to take place prior to this tribulation.

The rapture of the saints –the resurrection of
dead saints and the instant transformation of those
still alive on earth (I Corinthians 15:52) — gets delayed until the final act of history, when Satan rebels and Christ comes back to judge the world (Revelation 20:7-10).

This means that until then, Christians will remain on earth as God’s delegated agents of
judgment in history, preaching the gospel, applying
God’s law to every area of life, and progressively
subduing the earth to the glory of God
        (Genesis 1:26-28).

This means that there will be no earth~ escape for
church members of the progressive~ heavy responsibilities of exercising dominion.”

    • GSOB

It may sound strange to many readers that the

great tribulation is behind us. This view has been

quite common throughout church history, but over

the last hundred years or so, many Bible-believing

groups have adopted a different view: that the great

tribulation will happen to Israel (or to everyone, including

Christians) in the future, and probably in

the near future. Most dispensationalists believe that

the church will be ‘raptured” out of the world before

the great tribulation takes place; post-tribulation dispensationalists

      and traditional non-dispensational

premillennialists believe that the church will go

      through the great tribulation.

What the Bible teaches is that it took place in

A.D. 70, and Christians did not go through it.

This book introduces readers to the theology of

      judgment: specifically, God’s judgment sanctions

against Israel. The sanctions were curses. God gave

blessings to the church and cursings to rebellious

Israel, which had crucified the Lord and publicly

called God’s judgment down on themselves: “Then

answered all the people, and said, His blood be on

us, and on our children” (Matthew 27:25). God’s

cursings on ancient Israel in A.D. 70 matched their

crime, the cructilon of Christ. This crime was the

greatest (worst) in history; their punishment was

also the greatest (worst) in history. To call anything

else “the great tribulation” is to downplay the immensity

      of that generation’s crime.

  • FortuneSeek3rz

There’s not much anyone can do. If the big one happens, it happens. We all live daily hoping for the best. In the mean time, learn to enjoy life and live free of fear.

    • Rachel

I agree. We cannot stop the inevitable. We must try to enjoy each day without living in fear of volcanoes and earthquakes… if it doesn’t happen, great. If it happens, it happens. But I’m not going to spend my day thinking when the volcano is going to erupt nor when the earthquake will hit. That’s just not living.

        Pets? Kids? Grandmother?
Your statements are alarming. And selfish. If you are alone and have a death wish please disregard the following.
With my kids grown, I have managed to save 3 furry souls (cats). I drive a high top van that is always ‘prepped’. Water, non-perishable food, cat food, toilet (bucket with lid, bags) 12 volt converter, blankets..In a box just in case. With that said: April, 2014. All hell broke loose on the way back from a trip, I was 15 miles from home. Torrential rains forced me off the road into a Wendy’s parking lot for 14 hours, [along with a stranded Sheriff], in my van, with the cats. The city flooded quickly, it was almost destroyed. Google Pensacola flood 2014. It took 2 days to return home.
Winter, 2013. Temps down to 12°, hovering at 17°. Ice storms froze everything for 2 days. Stores, gas, ..nothing moved. This time I was house-bound with my son, on an island with the bridges closed. But we were ok because I planned to be ok.
Don’t complain when food prices soar this Fall.
Don’t complain about rising energy costs.
Or gas projected to be $4+.
        Or lack of medical care.
Contrary to popular opinion, the government is not going to save you or help you. There are tons of ways to fend for yourself. I suspect you are lazy and spoiled. In that case your on borrowed time.
        tick tock tick tock…

        • piccadillybabe

I’ve been in survival mode for more years than I can remember. It’s nice to hear that some people actually “live” and enjoy life.

        • Orange Jean

          How is that selfish?

I hate to say this but even if you saved your kitties during a storm… if a volcano erupted close enough to you neither you nor the cats would survive based on having a box of cat food, etc.

And if a large enough earthquake hit, it’s more a question of where you are at the time. Something like 97% of all deaths due to earthquakes happen because a building collapses on the person. If that doesn’t happen, it’s unlikely you (or your cats) would die even in a huge earthquake. Most deaths from earthquakes are caused by something hitting the person on their head, traumatic brain injury instantly killing them. Since the cats are smaller, they *might* be a bit less prone to getting hit. On the other hand, studies of deaths due to earthquakes showed no difference in death rates by age. So a baby who is much smaller than an adult isn’t necessarily safer… it’s still just a matter of whether or not something clunks you (or the kitties) on the head.

One time I had an argument about God with a born again Christian. He did not like my ideas and started talking about where my soul is going to go when I die. I said, “How bad can it be, it can’t be worse than living in New Jersey.”

      • algol2000

Yes, right, except that you will no longer have free will, and they can do with you as they wish. For eternity. God gave us free will for a reason. It applies only when we are in this world, and that we may determine our destiny before we depart it.

The birth pangs are getting closer and closer together brothers. Jesus said that before the Son of Man (Jesus) would come, there would be earthquakes in diverse places, wars and rumors of wars, and the love of many would wax thin.

The Bible also says that in the last days, the love of many would grow cold. People would be boastful and arrogant, and not be obedient to their parents. We would also see increased learning and many would travel to and fro, like all over the planet.

We are seeing all these signs occurring now. But in case that wasn’t enough to convince you, the fact that Israel came back from nothing ness and is now almost universally hated and reviled by many nations in the world was also foretold by the Bible.

Guys. We have to prepare spiritually for what is coming. Jesus is going to come back soon. The world is changing so much exactly like the Bible and Jesus foretold. The coming economic collapse will help set the stage for a one-world global government, religion, and currency.

You need to put your trust in Jesus, by believing he was crucified, died on the cross for your sins, and rose again on the third day. He paid the penalty of your sins, and will give you eternal life if you just put your trust and faith in him.

That is the Gospel and what will happen soon.

    • df NJ

If Jesus did return he would not be conservative enough to get the Republican nomination.

      • Mike Smithy

Seriously? Over the past 40 years the Republican Party has moved to the left of center.

Q: Do you know why Jesus wasn’t born in New Jersey?
A: Because God couldn’t find 3 wise men and a virgin.

        • df NJ

LOL! The joke is awesome. But I beg to differ on what left means. When you are really far to the right everyone else is a liberal. A Democrat from Texas is further to the right than a Republican from New Jersey. For example, a leftist public policy would be Medicaid for all aka single payer healthcare system. A far left would be state owned hospitals and doctors as government employees. We are so far to the right in this country we have outsourced NSA to private corporations. I think you need to read far left and far right to understand what left and right means. I like the way the Constitution Party argues both parties are the same and they would be a true second party. For me its hard to know which way is best. On the left you are government bureaucracy. On the right you have cartels and monopolies and corporate bureaucracy. Bureaucracy just stinks no matter what. Please don’t argue we still have free markets because we have no free markets. And then on top of it all you have the Federal Reserve scamming 10% of our GDP every year with interest payments on the national debt and currency inflation. I think the economic tyranny causing all the misery in this country will not be solved by left wing or right wing ideologies. I may not agree with Republicans but I respect their opinions. I would prefer we had whole lot less poverty in this country. And I am really sick of endless war and all the boogymen we have to fight all the time. It would be nice to have a year or two of peace for a change.

    • GetReal4U2

sadly most people scoff at the word of God…just like the Bible said they would in the last days…time is short…please read “the most important thing article” above…Michael has warning of the impending economic collapse for years…EVERYTHING is happening just like the word of God said it would…make Jesus the Lord of your life before it’s too late…

      • df NJ

Scoff may be too strong of a word. I think most people have a basic reverence for God. Here’s the problem with predicting the end times. Many times before people have claimed we are in the end times. It’s just human nature to attribute meaning to all our life experiences. And many times before it turned out not to be the end times. Please forgive my blashemy for speaking for God but it does seem like God is very patient. Based on human experiements, there seems to be no amount of evil God will not tolerate in order to preserve our free will. So it’s not obvious to me that our present danger includes God’s involvement. I may be wrong. We shall see.

Let me ask you another question about faith in God. I was thinking that an omnipotent God really doesn’t need anything. It’s not like our omnipotent God needs some number of people to enter through the gates of heaven in order to keep his power of omnipotence. So I was thinking maybe God uses his omnipotent powers of forgiveness to allow everyone to enter through the gates of heaven to experience eternal bliss regardless of our earthly sins. We judge everyone around us every moment of our lives. It would be nice to have faith in a God whos infinite love has no boundaries including sin. Do you think having faith in such a God is wrong?

        • Babycatcher

I’m glad you asked that question! Here are some scriptures from the book of Romans that might shed light on the answer….
Romans 3:23 NKJV – for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.
          Romans 3:10 NKJV – As it is written: “There is none righteous, no, not one;
Romans 5:12 NKJV – Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned–
The creator of the universe is HOLY. God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. 1Jn 1:5 (KJV) He has set laws in place for his creation to obey. What are these laws? They begin with the 10 Commandments. While you might consider yourself ‘good’ compared to most people, how do you measure up against God’s law? Have you ever told the smallest lie? Then you are a liar. “For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it.” James 2:10 (NIV) Disobedience to God is sin.
Is sin really THAT big of a deal? If it is… what HOPE is there?
Romans 6:23 NKJV – For the wages of sin [is] death, but the gift of God [is] eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Disobedience to an infinite eternal God deserves an infinite eternal consequence. God shows us His character and his laws in his creation, the world around us. He has also written his laws in our hearts… on our conscience. He has also given us his WORD the Bible. No good judge would let the guilty go free, the criminal go unpunished. Neither can a holy righteous God allow sinful man to go unpunished… but God LOVES man whom he has made in his image and He has provided a way of escape by sending his only son to die in our place.
After what I’ve done to grieve God… HOW could He willingly die in my place?
Romans 5:8 NKJV – But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. Jn 3:16-NKJV While he died on the cross, he was mocked, spit upon, and cursed. Yet Jesus cried out, “Father forgive them for they know not what they do…” (Lk 23:34-KJV) With such love, Jesus died in your place… knowing every evil act, word, and thought you would commit. What powerful love! He loves you unconditionally even to the point of death when you are at your worst!
          HOW can I be saved?
Romans 10:9-10 NKJV – that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation
You can never be saved by trying to be a good person, nor can you be saved through any amount of ‘good works’. Ephesians 2:8,9 says “For by grace have you been saved by faith. And that, not of yourselves. It is the gift of God, not of works. Lest any man should boast. (KJV) You and I can be saved only by confessing our sins and placing our faith in God’s son, Jesus Christ who died and paid for our sins on the cross. We must also surrender our life to His lordship… placing him in charge of every area of our life because we now belong to him.
Did God HEAR me? Did He accept me?
Romans 10:13 NKJV – For “whoever calls on the name of the LORD shall be saved.”
God promises that “to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God” (Jn 1:12 NIV) Yes, God does hear and accept ALL who come to put their faith in Him. There is no need to fear death any longer because Jesus BROKE the power of death on the cross with his own blood. The price has been paid in full and it is God’s promise to receive all who come to him by placing their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
          What do I do now?
Romans 10:17 NKJV – So then faith [comes] by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
Your journey as a child of the King of Kings has just begun! You must begin by spending time daily in prayer and in God’s Word, the Bible. You must also find fellowship with other believers in a Church that teaches and preaches the Bible. You should also now confess Jesus, your savior before men. Share about your new faith in Christ with your family, coworkers and others whom God has placed on your daily p

It’s worth noting that for most of history, a significant portion of the population were farmers. In a generation, we have touched the moon, coded human genetics, and communicate with each other across the entire earth live through telecommunications.

If you can’t see that we live in a unique period of human history, then you are not looking hard enough. I say this to everyone who claims that “in every generation someone always claims it’s the end times.”

The nation of Israel did not exist for 1850 years (closer to 3000) as a United kingdom) and it was reestablished just 70 years ago, reclaiming it’s capital only 55 years ago. And it all happened to fulfil prophecies declared and written no later than 100AD, just as scripture declared it would!

Yes, something is different in our generation!!!

          • skc

Israel can suck it. They are just as bad, if not worse than the US and if it wasn’t for the bible no one would think twice about that country.

          • Simon

Yes, Israel has turned away from God and deserve nothing from him. However, God keeps his promises and he has made promises to Israel which include accepting them when they repent at the end of the age and establishing Jesus as king over the nations in Israel. That nation will of course endure great tribulation before the repentance occurs.

So we don’t stand with Israel because they are especially worthy but because God commands us to recognise that they are precious to him.

And yet exactly as the bible proclaims, Israel finds herself surrounded by enemies on all sides and now, even her allies are abandoning her. The bible is the only word on Israel that matters.

actually Isreal is the gateway to the Middle East, which is why Jerusalem is one of the oldest continually inhabited cities on earth. Bible or no it is strategically important because of its location.

The Bible also states that when Israel becomes a nation, THAT GENERATION will not pass away before Christ returns. I was born in 1947, Israel was restored in 1946. I am 68 years old and I do not believe my generation will pass away before Christ returns.

          • WinkyVonTrollStuffer

Actually the bible does NOT say that. That is widely taught in USA churchs, but its NOT found in the bible.

God is who he is and does not change…he is justice and truth. He is the same yesterday today and forever. He is limited only by his character, which we as sinful creatures cannot comprehend. To compromise his character would be to remove his godhead…we cannot make God whom we want him to be. He then ceases to be God.

Jesus is God. We can know His character.

            Read John 8:24
            and 2 Corinthians 4:4

Conclude if you believe or not in God’s word concerning the deity of Christ.

            Jesus is God.
He is forever the God-Man. He is also Prophet, Priest and King. He is GOD.

The problem with the Muslim religion is that it is false because it denies this deity of Jesus. All religions that do that are alike,… they are false.

God the Father has testified concerning His Son. He who has the Son has the Father and vice versa.

That’s just the way it is.

Rubbish but you’re free to believe what you like. I’m just sorry you are so hung up in humanity and a man that you forget how great is Allah. You will keep on being blindsided by science if you see Allah as just a big old Santa Claus with real magic and a white beard. Allah created us but he created ALL LIFE in the universe and whilst we own a spark of His divine spirit, we have a spark of light, it is borrowed and must be turned into your own for you to continue. We are not more important on this planet than any other creature. Certain of them may kill and eat us anytime, and Allah will not even disapprove. Nothing happens but that He wills it. Outside this planet we are virtually nothing. Many other life forms will exceed ours in intelligence, science and probably spiritually. All of this is allowed in the Quran. It is a pity that all you have is these remnants and altered tracts of scripture we call the Bible, whilst we have the glorious beauty of Allah’s original words in the Quran. However enough of their intention remains that you will find your truth within, enough to be judged by your own precepts. Christians and Jews should turn to their scriptures and learn from them, that is all Islam asks of them. You do not need to teach it to others, no more do you need to try and teach others about us. We keep our council to our own as a rule and it would be good if Christians did more also.

At what point did I say that Jesus was just a man? Jesus is the firstborn of God. The mastercraftsman of God, The one whom God trusted to become our redeemer by taking a form of a man and suffering the trials of men so he could become the perfect ransom for the failings of Adam. He is the son of God but he is not God. We learn of God the father through Jesus, the son because Jesus mirrors the ways of his father. – You may consider Jesus to be a god. The bible also refers to a god of this system of things – the ruler of the air of disobedience. – There is only one TRUE GOD. All else is under him – 1Cor 3: 23 – in turn you belong to Christ; Christ, in turn, belongs to God.

“Scoff” is the word the Bibles uses…Jesus is very clear on the need to repent (to change your mindset towards sin) and hell is a very real place…sadly most don’t understand that Jesus died on the cross for OUR sins…SIN is what separates us from God. God has a timeline, and the “times of the gentiles” are about to be fulfilled…

The Lord God wants people to enter heaven because he loves all of us not because it would give him more power, God doesn’t want anyone to be cast into the lake of fire because that place was meant for satan, but since people willfully choose to disobey God and not repent then they too end up in the lake of fire. God tells us in his word that the only way to eternal life is through Faith in his Son Jesus Christ, by accepting him as your Lord and Savior you receive eternal life in Heaven where you will have everlasting Joy and peace, and most importantly greatest joy will be knowing that you will be with Jesus Christ for all eternity not distant from him anymore. So accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior today while there’s still time for tomorrow is never promised for any of us, I Love You and God bless you.

          1. The bible doesn’t teach humans have free will. The concept of free will is from Greek philosophy.
          2. There is no way to quantify how much evil is stopped everyday by divine intervention. Or whether acts of evil out quantify acts of good. Since good news doesn’t sell newspapers.

          • NorthernBud

The Bible may not use the word “freewill”, but the concept is firmly laid down.

There is not one example of God forcing someone to do something they don’t “want” or “agree” to do.

            Read Jonah…

          • WinkyVonTrollStuffer

The bible clearly states that humans are in bondage to sin. If you are in bondage you don’t have freewill. God hardened Pharoahs heart, so their is an example of even God changing someones will. God sent an evil spirit to torment king Saul. Every sinner who repents repents because God sets them free from their bondage. If humans had a truelly free will the whole of the new testament would not make sense.

          • algol2000

Bondage to sin can be broken, by appealing to a higher power and obeying His instructions. None of the people you listed(except Jonah) did that. Therefore, freewill does exist, but only if we choose to exercise it, not by facing battles we cannot win alone, but by securing the help of a higher power. For example, Daniel’s victories.

          • WinkyVonTrollStuffer

You may believe that, it may even be true. But clearly the message of the bible is that human natures are bound up by sin. It is true that the sin that binds us is in OUR natures, so it is us who are evil. But calling that “freedom” is similar to saying the US is a FREE country when in fact there is nothing you can do anymore without getting government permission.

The bottom line is the biblical world view is that man is hopelessly bound up in sin and without being set free by the father we cant even “see” the kingdom let alone choose it.

          • algol2000

Your comment is well observed. However, the first parents CHOSE to sin and opened up a floodgate to evil influence. Man can be free from sin, but only if he REQUESTS for help from the one who has all the keys and OBEYS His instructions. This in itself takes the exercise of free will. And yes, we cannot do much under this heaven unless we ask permission from government. However, did Elijah face the same constraints? Yes, but he CHOSE not to subject himself to the evil government, and followed God’s instructions. There is a price to pay for freedom(some even paying with their lives). And this is what God tried to teach Israel in the wilderness before they entered into the promised land. However, they did not learn that lesson. It is important to strengthen the feeble knees and stand up like a man that God created. It takes strength to say no, and to suffer the consequences. Ask Joseph. ask Daniel. Ask Jeremiah. This is what God expects, and this is the only way we can reach Him. This is the only way we can experience His delivering grace and awesome intervention on our behalf. Since the first parents lost the battle in the garden, God introduced this solution; the life of Jesus Christ. We need to surrender all that we are and all that we have to God in order to truly experience freedom. It is our freewill to surrender. Or not.

          • WinkyVonTrollStuffer

algo – you have completely missed the point. Incidentally, I do think Adam and Eve had classical “free-will” in a greek sense. But we no longer do. As near as I can tell the bible seems to indicate they were free, but since they disobeyed sin entered their nature and now rules our hearts. This is why the messiah had to be born of a virgin – to escape the imparting of the sin nature. Even Jesus didn’t have “free” will. He did the will of the father who sent him, unlike Adam.

Your comment about being free from sin if you request it, certainly isnt biblical. There is no evidence in the NT that any of the apostles were “Sinless”, they were repentant and forgiven. Paul ruminates at length over his personal struggles with his sin nature. The biblical view is after you have been given to Jesus by the father you are given a new nature that isnt actually perfected until your death or rapture.

Your views are interesting but they aren’t scriptural. The mostly align with a greek philosophical world view which permeates the church and renders the bible almost unintelligible. Hebrews, Romans, Galatians – explains this relationship. If you want to truelly understand the Cross, you have to understand the nature of man, who is in bondage to sin and there fore NOT actually Free.

It is true that once regeneration by the Holy Spirit has been wrought into the sinner that they are free.
            Before that, no.

But after having been freed, we are free to serve Him whereas before we weren’t.
But now your ‘free will’ has been released from bondage and the rest of your Christian life is to struggle against sin and overcome it by the grace of God that works in you, both the willing and the doing of His good pleasure.

Now you are truly free and long for the fullness to come and have no confidence in our own ability to do what only He can do in us.

            1 Peter 2:2
As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

In the meantime, you are a Saint overlapping sinner until the redemption of our bodies and His return.
            2 Peter 3:18

          • algol2000

Your comment is well observed. It is easy to blame one’s imperfection on someone else – in this case -the sinful nature. But you are right, children do inherit the trait of parents who birthed and brought them up, but by effort and obedience to the laws of God, new traits can be developed. Jesus came through the virgin mary because he was a type of new Adam; a man directly from God, a man of pure lineage, created for a perfect sacrifice, for it was God’s desire to create everything anew. Jesus faced temptations and remained sinless – if it was not possible for him to sin, then, he would not have been tempted – by satan himself. You cite the books written by one man – Paul – as evidence in all your comments. What about the other witnesses? Jeremiah, Elijah, Elisha, David(who committed adultery and murder and received punishment fit for the crime), Daniel, Moses, Joshua, Peter, John(the baptist and the beloved)? I believe that there is no “new testament” and “old testament”, but the scriptures are one single continuum of evidence of God’s dealings with mankind through his witnesses, recorded for posterity. Although men like Paul tried to redefine the laws, which Jesus himself had confirmed: which is, that he (Jesus) did not come to abolish the law but to confirm and interpret it in the proper light. May I remind you of the parable of the wedding supper? And what do the other apostles say? That faith without works is dead. Works is dependent on free will. God will not force anyone against his will, we must take the risk based upon our convictions. Being free from sin does not mean there would not be temptations. It just means we can overcome the (habitual) temptations and become perfect by continually following the guidance of Jesus Christ and the holy spirit. If this were not possible, God would not have told Abraham, after he had Ishmael according to the flesh; walk before me and be thou perfect. We need not give in the the temptations. Just like a child learns to walk, read and write, we can learn a new language; that of the Holy Spirit. It is freely available, but we have a choice in seeking and obeying the instructions.

          • WinkyVonTrollStuffer

            I’m not catholic.

I’m not sure how to classify your views. Your view of salvation is definitely palagian, but the rest of your statements sound like new age mysticism.

Your views are very pleasing to the ear, but alas they are not taught in the bible. I don’t see how anything you’ve said would have turned the world upside down, it certainly wouldn’t be an offense to a Jew or nonsense to a Greek. Since the gospel is and historically was those things, I can’t see how your beliefs jive with the bible. The old testament characters you spoke of and what the situations they were put in was meant to illustrate is all layed out in Hebrews.

The bible clearly teaches that all men are dead in their sin and trespass. That they deserve to be destroyed and will be, in the end anyone who is saved from their punishment, is saved by a sovereign act of GOD, made possible by Jesus who took our punishment on himself.

The idea that GOD is sovereign is the offense of the gospel. Its Gods world to do with as he sees fit. Some humans are made to be vessels of wrath and some mercy.

Now that is an offense to both the Jew and the Greek.

If God has elected you to salvation, Christ will seek you out he will find you and when he does you will repent. If you desire Christ rest assured GOD put that desire in your heart, so call out and Christ will receive you, like a Shepard who has lost a sheep.

          • algol2000

Your comment is well observed. I think we can do away with the “isms”. I do not belong to any denomination; I seek truth and justice. The bible clearly teaches that all men are dead in sin and trespass, so long as they continue to choose sin and trespass. For Jesus has come that they might have life and have it more abundantly; Jesus teaches the true (and narrow way) way to righteousness. Yes, man is not, by himself alone able to achieve it, but under guidance of the holy spirit. There is a risk in studying only Paul. He is not a latter-day “Jesus Christ”. Paul was subject to failings like the rest of us. It is better to study Jesus, for he alone was perfect. There are four witnesses to Jesus’ ministry, and they all agree in almost every way.

And no, God elects no man to either salvation or perdition, for that will be most unfair in a justice system(even though it is recorded that God hardened the heart of certain kings to achieve his purpose, these are specific cases and those things have an end). God can see into the future, but man’s ways are of his own choosing. Christ seeks no man, even though he makes himself available to all through his eternal blood sacrifice, we must seek him; seek and ye shall find, for everyone that seeks, finds, and to everyone that knocks, the door is opened. Christ remains at the door, but in your freewill, you must invite him in.

And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. Rev 20:12.

God will judge every man according to his works.Evil and good present themselves all around us, but we must choose the path to follow.

          • WinkyVonTrollStuffer

Its almost like you have never actually read the bible. Anyway, nothing you’ve stated would be offensive to anybody. Its the same works righteousness taught by every other non christian religion.
You have just substituted the name Jesus for Zuess or Karma. Nothing new. If Jesus taught works righteousness nobody would remember him, nothing new or offensive in that.

          • algol2000

Your comment is well observed. I have just quoted a verse out of many for evidence. I am not a scholar but I seek the truth. And the truth is that the works that Christ did in his flesh is the standard by which all “believers” and disciples will be judged. His blood sacrifice only provides the grace to reach perfection. I know and follow after the footsteps of Jesus. Not Paul, not Zeus and definitely not Karma.

          • WinkyVonTrollStuffer

You are aware that the other apostle s considered Paul’s writings as scripture. That being the case your rejection out of hand of his explanations is pretty uncool.

            Faith operated in both testaments.
The difference is that in the new, the Lord Himself purifies us to Himself and writes His laws upon flesh tablets of our heart.

Christianity is all of Him and none of us.

We tell of the good news with genuine gratitude and give Him all the praise.

None can boast because, having been taught of grace, understand that we love Him only because He first loved us.

He gave us the ability to see, hear and speak the truth because He dispenses Himself into us.

Whatever we have that is of Him is only because we have received it from Him.
We are made the righteousness of God in Christ because of His doing.

All of scripture is redemptive in it’s purpose and through the progress of time, His salvation will engulf the world as it progresses as it has to this day.

          • GSOB

The purpose of the law is to show us our sin. Without it, we would not see sin in ourselves although we still die because we are sinners by nature, which is contrary to the law.
The law exposes sin in ourselves and conducts sinners to Christ. He is the only way for relief from it’s just penalty placed upon us for breaking it and He makes us righteous. This righteousness is through faith in what God has done. The just shall live by faith.
Christ is the end of the law. The law is good, holy and spiritual – but it never could give life… could it?
It conducts us to Christ whom alone can save us from the law of sin and of death.
Another law, a greater law, greater than the law of sin and of death that operates in each person, enters into our death bound existence….
“The law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has freed me from the law of sin and of death”….
There is now no more condemnation for them that are in Christ Jesus.

          • GSOB

Before salvation we are children of the devil. We have know desire for God or the things of God. 1 Corinthians 2:14.
Adam and Eve were neutral and natural, not supernatural.
Eve got tricked… but Adam, he was clearly disobedient.
God’s curse on this sin brought the sentence of death into man and his world …..the disobedience of just one man.
Where Adam was disobedient, Christ learned obedience through His suffering to death on the cross as a man to bring many sons unto glory by His atonement and by the power of His resurrection. His righteousness is applied to the elect by the Spirit for there is nothing the spiritually dead sinner can do but die, and that we all do one day.
Just like you can not do anything to stop your death, so there is nothing you can do give life to yourself. You had nothing to do with your first birth but participate in it. You did not choose to be born did you? Likewise, you can not choose to be born again by the Spirit and by that choosing have accomplished it. It is not of him who wills. God is absolutely sovereign in those whom He has called into fellowship with His Son.
            Adam chose.
            Eve did not.
            God chose.
            We did not.

          • algol2000

Your comment is well observed. However, I’d will like to see your scriptural references.

Jesus said, if you love me, keep my commandments. He imputed freewill to his followers. Jesus died, not so that a man can pass to heaven despite all the evil that he has done, but so that mercy can abound towards every person still living(by choice) in sin. Otherwise, God is swift to judgement as in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah.

To pass into heaven, righteous works are required. And this can only be deliberate rejection/acceptance of a suggested course of action.

Satan is ever present to test every one. He tricked eve, but was Adam fulfilling his responsibility to her? He was supposed to teach guide and protect. Adam disobeyed by following the woman, instead of leading her, and God cursed him and all his children( the wages of sin is death).

And yes, the wages of sin is still death. Not just physical death, bu spiritual death(blindness, separation from God, inability to communicate with or hear from God).

How are you sure that we did not choose to come to this world? We simply cannot remember.

Besides, God does just choose people. He chooses those who he knows can carry out his mission. Those who, by demonstration of good works and courage have proven themselves fit for mission, just like elite navy seals do for your country.

God is upright and just. He does not engage in forced conversions like the muslims, and he does not predestine anyone. He created this universe and men so that they may explore it and shape it according to His just laws.

He let satan be so that all witnesses can see the effect of evil on the universe, so that there will be a sense of justice at the end when he eventually destroys evil along with everyone that chooses that way.

God will not bring anyone to himself, but he has provided a way of escape to those that will listen and obey. The choice is therefore, ours.

Strive to enter in through the strait(narrow) gate. For broad is the way that leads to destruction, and many there by that have chosen that way. But strait is the way that leads to life and few (very few) find it.

Jesus’ righteousness is for Jesus. This is why is sacrifice is acceptable to God as a propritiation(postponement of punishment) for sins.

Unless we follow in the footsteps of Jesus, no man will be accepted into heaven. God gave man freewill since Adam, and he has not changed.

          • GSOB

            I think you are saved.

Only God will be able to teach you about the truth of what I and WinkyVonTrollStuffer and very few others have been saying.
Even your good works, once in Christ, were predestined.

At present, it appears that though you are saved and love the Lord Jesus…. you still have confidence in your flesh.

            It’s judgment not judgement.

          • algol2000

Thanks for the correction. I do not actually believe in the “once saved, always saved mantra”. I believe in truth and justice, as exemplified by Christ Jesus.

There are many that were on the narrow road but did not make it to the end of the journey. Examples abound.

I will not lay claim to the works of Christ (these are credited to Christ, it cannot be inherited) instead of following in his footsteps and doing the works. I will not be one of those people. And it has nothing to do with confidence in the flesh. Jesus said, those that believe in me, greater works than these shall they do, because I go to my father.

Jesus showed the way to the presence of God. It is our duty to follow in his footsteps. We ought to eschew the mentality that the government(Jesus) will take care of us at the gate of heaven, simply because we profess his name. No, he will be looking for the works.

            1. How many times have you helped a poor friend?
            2. How many times have you visited those in prison or in the hospital?
            3. Have you ever given your last meal away?

These are the works that demand the exercise of faith. Let us continue to do them.

          • GSOB

So, based on your performance… one day you are saved and the next you may sin and then no longer be saved.

Yours seems to me to be a man centered, works righteousness type of salvation, …which is not Christ centered.

            Enter into His rest.
There is a greater peace in Him to be known by you. Do not disregard the “once save. always saved mantra” as you call it, because it is true.

          • algol2000

Only the dead can rest. The living must continue in battle.

Come unto me, all ye that labor and I shall give you rest. For my yoke is light, and my burden is easy.

Remember, he didn’t say, you will not bear a burden. There is a price to pay for every progress.

Jesus has done the hard part, we must do what is left; the easy part. Believing with head knowledge without action is inviting evil to have a field day. A good soldier of Christ actively resists evil, through righteous works. This is the work that God has given to you and I. This is the work that we must dedicate ourselves to.

          • algol2000

            Matt 7:13-14
Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way,
that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

            Matt 10:14-15
            And whosoever shall not
receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or
city, shake off the dust of your feet.

            But Paul says:

Ephesians 2:9 [Salvation] is not of works, so that no man can boast before God.

            However, Paul also said:

Romans 3:7 If the truth of God is being spread by my lie, why and I judged a sinner?

Therefore, you need to be careful whose testimony you receive.

However, according to the revelation given to John:

            Revelation 20:12-13
            And I saw the dead,
small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and
another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were
judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to
            their works.

And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered
up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man
            according to their works.

Christ’s gospel is often at variance with Paul’s. This is the crux of the matter. Paul’s testimonies abolish freewill.

But Christ’s teachings mention that man is free to choose his way.

          • GSOB

It troubles me to see that you have joined in to espouse that Christ is divided, suggesting to dismiss Paul and lift up Jesus.
Your piety kills me. It’s not biblical though…, is it, when you use the scriptures to impose restrictions on using scriptures.?? But I’m afraid that you have been deceived, led astray. One accord with the enemy,… are ye?
Jesus called Paul to Himself and he went on to write much of the new testament. Without Paul’s writings, then your assertion would be correctly formulated and observed.
            2 TIM 3:16

          • algol2000

Piety is dangerous. It is religion. Obedience to the commandments, and the law is what is required. Below is what I have found about a man rendering accounts on how he was converted:

            Acts 9:7King James Version (KJV)
7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

            Acts 22:9King James Version (KJV)
9 And they that were with me saw indeed the light, and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.

How can you then begin to trust his testimony seeing that he cannot keep a straight face?

Christ and Paul are not in the same league, and Paul cannot replace Christ, for Christ is the truth, the way, and the life.

“The law was therefore given not to take away sin but to include all under sin…so that by this humiliation they might know that their salvation was not in their own hands.”
            – St. Augustine

          • algol2000

St Augustine is not an authority on these matters. Only Christ is the true and final authority on all things.

          • GSOB

Your inordinate presumption of assumed authority over Augustine is groundless.
You are not an authority PERIOD.
No one is suggesting that Paul or Augustine is replacing Christ, as you pretend it to be.
You just don’t recognize the truth when you see it nor appreciate the Apostles or the body of Christ correctly.
How did that happen? By holding on to what you got and to afraid to let go in order to grow. Perfect love cast out all fear. Christ said that His own will do greater works as time goes on.
Your suggesting and false accusations points to a stunted development in your spiritual growth and theology. What ministry have you been feeding yourself on?
            A sort of lopsided development.
You proclaim Christ in a way that makes you appear righteous but at the expense of His redeemed, so it makes you an obstacle for fellowship amongst the Saints Christ is not divided. Christ said to love one another with love He has given us.

          • algol2000

“You are not an authority because you have not grown as much as they had. That is evident.”

Did I ever claim to you to be an authority? I have mentioned to you severally that Christ is the final authority on all things but you keep referring to “Saint” Paul, or “saint” Augustine. I have never met these men, and why should I believe them, or you? I follow Christ. And if any man’s doctrine is at variance with Christ’s why should I be concerned?

Is it an offense to you that I choose not to follow popular opinion? I was sent here by God, and not by the “other believers”. Every man shall answer for his deeds and no friend will help him on the day of judgment.

As far as I remember, we have freedom to choose whom to follow. I choose not to follow you or your friends. Why does that offend you?

          • GSOB

You say you are following Christ.
            Learn this then:
Stop your subtle divisiveness and learn from others that are in Christ. No one is suggesting you replace Christ by doing so, so stop with that concept also. It’s holding you back. No one is seeking approval or opinions of mere men here. Why did you come? To learn? I say to divide, all in the name of Christ. Christ is not divided. One Lord One faith one baptism, one body….
That’s about as simple to you as I can put it.

          • algol2000

Your comment is noted. Even Christ said, I am not come to sow peace on the earth but a sword. Christ also said, to take up my cross and follow him. Does Christ care for unity among the people or does he care that some are following him? If a man is in unity with his lord but is at variance with his brothers, which one is better?

          • Rebel

It seems to me that you do not know the Bible neither the scriptures.
To say that “…we can’t even see the kingdom without being set free by the father…” Is totally wrong.
God sent Jesus on earth to not only show us the the kingdom, but to bring it to us, while we were still sinners.
And to deliver us from sin, if WE choose to.

          • WinkyVonTrollStuffer

Lol, you can’t see the kingdom unless you’ve been born again is a quote from Jesus. Incidentally your a pelagian too.

To be born again is a process. It is not an event.

          • GSOB

It has a beginning with an end. It is an event just like you being born in your natural birth. You don’t spend your entire human life at that birth event but you grow from that starting event to maturity. Getting ‘Born again’ is actually Gods quickening a dead, human spirit.

          • algol2000

Being born in the natural birth is a process, not an event. It begins with the spark of the mother’s conception.

            English Standard Version

No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day.

The word “Draw” above is translated everywhere else in the NT with the word “Drag” – in either case the salvation of men is a sovereign act of GOD forcing men to act contrary to their sin bound wills. If GOD didnt drag people to the cross, nobody would be saved.

          • NorthernBud

Yes, sometimes he has to “drag” people kicking and screaming. But they must be the ones to finally accept. It is their choice. Period.
I would say you are direct evidence of this. I was once like you. Although, after I got “dragged”, rationality, reason, and admitting to myself the Truth, made me make a decision.

          • algol2000

God is drawing all of creation to Himself. Because He is evident in nature. Always calling out when the birds sing in the morning, when the sunset arrives. We cannot escape Him because the evidence of His existence permeates nature. Therefore, this draw is like evidence of a Higher Intelligence always staring you in the face. Any man who decides to chase down this evidence will discover God. And seek more of Him. For all goodness reside with Him, and a spiritual man seeks goodness(with the discipline that comes with it). Therefore, it is by this incremental experiential knowledge that a man is drawn close to God and gradually becomes perfect.

God is spirit. And they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.

          • algol2000

            Your comment is well observed.
But let us examine the context.

Jesus was talking to some Jews about the bread of life. He was saying that he is this bread. But some Jews begin to murmur.

Then, he plainly tells them “that comment”. In other words, he sarcastically tells them, if God does not enlighten you, you will not understand what I am saying. In other words, he was telling them: YE DO NOT UNDERSTAND BECAUSE YE ARE SPIRITUALLY BLIND. I think he is asking them to seek God for interpretation, instead of the material benefits they are getting from him. This is why he spoke so much in parables. HE WANTS PEOPLE TO SEARCH FOR THE TRUTH. We cannot reach Jesus unless we can understand him. We can only follow what we can understand. We can only practice what we can understand. But God is waiting for those who seek understanding.

Seek, and ye shall find. For whosoever seeks finds and whosoever knocks, the door shall be opened.

Yes, i do believe that kind of faith is wrong. God hates sin. He doesnt change. We have all been given a gift offering for the payment for our sins by way of God’s Son. Jesus died in our place , paid a sin debt he didnt owe for a sin debt we couldnt pay.

It isn’t sinning that will land a person in hell. We DO have a God that will overlook your sin and replace it with His Son’s Righteousness. Making you appear as Pure as His Son in His Eyes.

Everyone is quoting Paul. What about someone quote directly from Jesus?

Jesus said; he that sins is a slave to sin and his father is satan. He also said: enter ye in(to heaven) through the strait gate.

God will not overlook evil. He will judge and punish it. And no, Jesus’ righteousness cannot be imputed to anyone. That is Jesus; righteousness. You must work for your own credits by using Jesus’ life as a guideline.

Have you ever imagined that murderers, abortionists and all sinners who have not changed their ways, but simply confess the name of God will sit with the same people they murdered in the kingdom of God? Far be it from a just and righteous God.

Remember when the mother of James and John was begging for positions for his sons? Jesus said to her; are they able to pay the price?

For every good thing a man must have, a price has to be paid. This is a universal law forever established by God.

Have you really sat down alone and asked God? If you really want an answer from Him he will give it to you. I can say with all honesty that God loves you and wants your love and attention. That is why he sent Jesus here to die for all of our sins. The gift is there for everyone to accept for reject. What is love if it is not freely given. I would beg of you to consider accepting Jesus Christ today.

God does not ask perfection out of us. In fact what He asks is exactly the opposite. That we realise that we’re all sinners.
That’s why He sent His son Jesus to die for us on the cross. That’s how much love He has for us.
Sad to say some people too proud to accept His gift, because of their pride, reject Him.
They’ll have to reap the consequences of their own choices.

It is called “faith without works’ is dead.
If you have the ‘faith’ then that faith will issue, work itself out throughout your life because it is God who works in you the willing and the doing of His good pleasure.
            Acid test question for you:
            Which comes first…
            regeneration or believing?
Answer: REGENERATION, fore without it, as I have been saying all along as to what the bible teaches,… can do nothing without being regenerated first by the Spirit. He infuses the faith of Jesus into the spiritually dead sinner. His life in us strengthens our faith and renews our mind.

          • algol2000

I am not a christian, I am a disciple, an apprentice. Perhaps, that is the difference. For Jesus said, ye must be born again, not, “I will give birth to you again”. Being born again is the responsibility of the believer.

It is only when you are born again(turn a new leaf) that the holy spirit can commune with you, You need to demonstrate obedience in little things before the holy spirit can commune with you. Faith cannot issue works. Only the person, using his will can demonstrate his faith by his works.

You have this popular saying; put your money where your mouth is, It is the same translation of “faith without works is dead”.

          • GSOB

“Being born again is the responsibility of the believer”

Nothing can be further from the truth than that kind of thinking.

You had not anything to do with your first birth….likewise, you have nothing to do with your second birth (born again).

The only thing in common between the two is that you participated in it, but you did not contribute to it.

God causes the growth,… not us. All we can do is try to establish our own works and religion. Hence…. the difference between the true and the false religion.

One starts with man and the other of God alone.

          • algol2000

Then you must know better than Jesus who said you must be born again and backed it up with parables of the prodigal son and the wedding of the king’s son. Did you know that a man was admitted into the wedding reception but was later thrown out because he didn’t have on a proper wedding garment? To put on this garment of righteousness is your responsibility, not Christ’s.

Since you have made up your mind who to believe(Paul, not Jesus), I am sorry, I will have to close my discussions with you on this topic here.

The mistake they make is to use the prophecies within the scriptures (the Quran also goes into all this) as a means to predict these events they await.
This is patently foolish because whether it is the Holy Bible or the Noble Quran, it is clearly stated by the self same author of those prophecies, Allah himself, that we should NOT use the prophecies so, that such efforts would be in vain and that NO man can know the day except Allah. The stupidity of believing prophecies from an omnipotent creator, only to ignore the disclaimer HE attached to them is the height of mental midgetry. (sic)

          • WinkyVonTrollStuffer

I think even Allah doesn’t know the day and hour, considering Allah is a pagan moon dirty, who according to the NT is a demon.

The Quran said Allah “is a deciever” , “capricious” etc. Which is the biblical definition of Satan.

I don’t mean to give offense, but do a thorough independent study of how the Quran describes Allah. Not a pleasant picture.

          • Muhammad Abbass

It appears you think you know something. It is unfortunate thatm you don’t know enough to know that you don’t know anything about the subject. You don’t learn about Islam or the Quran through reading second hand interpretations by people whose primary intention is to discredit and reject something. Everything you wrote is OLD NEWS as far as arguments go and they hold no water for true scholars for many decades now. Allah is Arabic for God you numbnuts, and in Islam this is defined as the ONE and ONLY God all all creation and unlike all other religions absolutely NO ATTEMPT is made in Islam to define or personify God, He is just described as a great mystery. That is the number one reason why any suggestion of moon deities etc falls flat on its face. The pathetic and childish mistake being made is to conflate the lunar system of Islam’s time measurements as in the same vein as the substituted Sun God of modern Christianity. Christianity can be side-tracked this way but Islam refuses to allow Allah to be reduced beyond a mystery so game set and match for that ridiculous notion you pretender. Furthermore Christians in the Middle East who speak Arabic refer to ALLAH and you dimwit, Arabic versions of the Bible translate God to Allah.
The Quran never said Allah is a deceiver, you refer to some mistranslated verses which Islamophobes love to twist around to say the Quran teaches Muslims they can lie. In fact not only are Muslims enjoined not to lie, whilst they are permitted to do so if it will save a life, we are assured that to tell the truth even in the face of persecution and death is preferable. The Quran NEVER says Allah is a deceiver, this is blatant and outright lie. When referring to those who scheme and plan, it says “yet Allah is the best of schemers or planners” but not only is this an imprecise translation of the Arabic term, it is also making a relative comparison, bot suggesting Allah is a schemer in the same vein as such deceivers.
I am sorry too, though more for your state of ignorance and empty presumptive pretentiousness. I can see you think you’re very clever. Ironically your name doesn’t help you much, since you immediately show yourself to be a troll with first glance at the page. You’re a full blown troll laddy and a blind man could see that. Good grief man, have you absolutely no self awareness? What you have shown here, is why people who only know as much about a subject as complex as religion as what some other know nothing has written in an article, should not attempt to debate with people who actually do know that religion.

          • WinkyVonTrollStuffer

Are the Christians in the middle east who use the word Allah for god the same ones members of the religion of peace are raping killing and cutting their heads off on video? Or is it another group?

          • Simon

I think both of us have wasted our time with this one.

History is a long record of condemnation against Islam but hey, history got it all wrong!

          • GSOB

The problem with your ‘religion’ is that underneath all the teachings, services, prayers and works lays the teaching that Jesus was just a man, a very good “prophet’ man, but only a man and none the more or less.

All religions have to get over that
‘line in the sand’ Jesus drew.

There is only one ‘true’ religion and the rest are patently false, though they may display some wisdom – they are divorced from Christ if they have not come to faith,… faith in Him alone.

          • Muhammad Abbass

That’s where we differ and saying it is THE problem with Islam is not true. It is THE problem that many Christians have with Islam but it is far from a deal breaker for others. The most true and faithful Christian Church are the Orthodox these days and they’re more inclined to the mystery and greatness of God and less with man as God. As for other religions and no religions, this itself makes Islam more rational and at the same time raises Allah from a mere magical and big old man to a cosmic mystery which itself grows even as our scientific understanding does too.
For us as Muslims the idea of relegating even the most favoured of Prophets as is Essa (Jesus) on a par with Allah is foolish and contrary to the whole idea of His teachings. Indeed it is to us a blasphemy even worse than it is for you that we don’t see it your way. Essa will return, this we believe and He will lead us, that we believe but he did not die on the cross, it is heartbreaking and maudlin the way you His followers worship a symbol of his supposed murder but more that you would assume Allah would forsake His prophet in the first place or expect Him to carry the burden of mankind. We have free will, we have been given the teachings and we have a mind and heart to choose. Thereafter NOBOBY but ourselves is responsible for our return to Allah. No man, not even an angel can do it.

          • WinkyVonTrollStuffer

My copy of the Quran was given to me by the Suadi Embassy. The Allah of islam is so clearly Satanic its amazing that anyone cant see it. Islam has been murdering and raping and debauching its neighbors since Muhammad spoke to his first demon. Islam has never been at peace, if they aren’t attacking their neighbors, then they are killing each other. IF the Allah of islam is god, I will cheerfully go to perdition.

Yes, because that is your version of God and not the reality of who God is. We need to faith in the one true God and not make up our own idea of who He is.The Bible is the Word of God. (In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.” John 1:1) The bible clearly tells us that their ARE sins Romans 3:23 For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” and in 1John 1:7-9 “But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness”
Without the blood of Jesus as atonement for sin we will not enter into heaven! “Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6”

The bible was compiled by fallible humans. Jesus is the Word of God.

Hey there, good question. However, even though God does not need anyone else he made us to be friends of God – just like Jesus said. The reason everyone cannot make it to heaven is because if they do not want to be there then they don’t have to be. If they don’t want to be a friend of God, they don’t have to be. It’s free will to choose God or not, so hell is really just the abscence of God vs heaven being the presence of God.

I don’t think it is supported by Scripture. Peter and Paul in 2 Peter and Romans make the point God destroyed the earth once by the flood due to the wickedness of man. Has he changed?
The Old Testament clearly makes the point Israel and the Jews were sent into exile due to disobedience to His Word. Jesus clearly stated Jerusalem would be left desolate, Jeremiah told us about 2000 years, due to their not realizing the time of His visitation, failure to embrace and live according to His teaching, again, disobedience. Has He changed?
In Revelation He continues with His judgments after the 6th trumpet because people do not repent of their “sorceries”. Samuel told us rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft so participating in “sorceries” seems connected to rebellion against His Word, again. Seems He hasn’t changed!
He also said in Hebrews that if a father doesn’t correct his children, then they are bastards, i.e., not really his. Do you jhave children and do you expect them to obey you, not in harshness, but many times for their own good or maturation?
Having faith in a god who is infinite love and tolerates all kinds of wickedness is not the God of the Bible. The God of the Bible is also Holy Though He is VERY patient, as you said. Time is about up for that though! It is an appointed time.

I never comment on these however your words have compelled me to respond. These are only my thoughts for you as i too had the same question. And im sure others as well. I appreciate the respectful nature your comment carries, as so many people litrally mock our God. I have no time to put toward them. However, this is my conclussion about your responce.
Yes, God is omnipotent. His powers do not rely on our lives. Yet we are here, He is God, we are sinners by nature with FREE WILL, and he sent his Son Jesus Christ to save us from our sins.
Ok……. i believe that Gods plan for us includes the creation of free will beings who choose to Love Him. I think the angels know his love and are created to serve Him and to choose is not with in their nature. I dont have all the answers, no one here does. But take time to think about a world where “to love” was hard wired as your mainframe and to decide not to love was unimaginable. I think in the bigger plan that are has yet to reveal, God in all His love wants a world in which beings have chose love over their desires to hate or sin. The bad of this world is overwhelming if you dont see the bigger picture. Ive been their. I know… choice…… free will…. to overcome…..never to be perfect…..yet yor here completley imperfect…..with questions about an omipoten omnipresent God.. who says he created man in his own image. So do we have certain attributes from God….. what are they? Thats different for every1. He not going to show anyone if it means thats the only way to convience them of Him and who they are. That would defeat the purpose of one choosing His plan, His love, His life for ours. The whole point is free will beings in a messed up world, where they think the odds are against them, discovering His Love and their purpose, and then in your belief and faith he will show you what your odds are in reality and to know this is truley Devine. I hope you find what your looking for. I searched a world over, for answers only to see i was asking all the wrong questions. I have a hard head and listen to know one, like a lot of people. I dont expect you to find salvation in these words, as i know i wouldnt. But rather a glimmer of HOPE. Hope is where it begines. I wish you well in your search for understanding. You have a good respect for the subject, at least thats what i saw in your words. Dont loose that. It will do you goid if your truley looking for answers

Other than it not having a biblical basis no but the bible does say that God is not slack concerning his promises but is long suffering not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. The bible also says that many in the day of judgment will say did we not do many wonderful works in your name and I will say depart from me ye that work iniquity. Outside of accepting what Jesus did on the cross there is no hope. GOD said his ways were higher than ours and we could not understand them. There is no meaning of time to God because he exists outside of time. We as human beings are finite trying to understand an infinite being and are incapable of understanding God fully and must accept GOD by faith but more on your statement about God letting all people into heaven no matter what is a fantasy many will choose to believe but it is a false reality that ends in hell the same hell where stalin Hitler and all the other despots have been and will burn for an eternity.

        • Tracy

Yes, I do. The bible clearly states you must accept Jesus as your Savior. Anyone who rejects Jesus goes to hell. Look it up. I do not have a bible handy, but there are many verses about this. Also, do a word study on hell. It is very interesting. God bless you. Jesus spoke of hell many times more than heaven.

It’s not so much the word of God they scoff at, but the falsely translated word of God, like KJV, DR, NIV, ASV, and most others. It’s really the lies of religions they scoff at. Remember, the scriptures say that all religions are false. None teach the word of God in it’s entirety, and none teach what any other religion teaches. they all have their own special set of lies.

Very true…Jesus fought very hard against “religion”…sadly most don’t understand the real word of God…and study it diligently examining the root words and context in which they were spoken…God’s word never changes…sadly…there are many scoffers of the word of God today…no matter the translation…look no further than how God/Jesus has been removed from schools and the entire country embracing Godless lifestyles…when the “supreme” court makes the ruling…you will really see judgments come upon this country like never before…

All true. All of the signs given us in the word of God that indicate the tribulation’s onset have already happened, except one. It’s amazing to see how many have no idea what any scripture means, so they “interpret” them, when the scriptures say that we are not to interpret them, ever. Pay attention…
This phenomena occurs every 3600 years. This has got nothing to do with cfc’s. The magnetic force on earth is changing, as well as the atmospheres of the rest of our solar system, because there is a force from outside that is effecting the magnetic characteristics of the sun. This is caused by a Failed Star System called Nibiru, which circles the sun every 3600 years. It was discovered by Dr. Tom von Vlaanderin who published an article on it in 1982, which was retracted by the then Illuminati, now FEMA. Previously it happened at the Exodus, and twice before that Noah build his ship. It is commonly known as the 2nd Coming, interpreted totally wrong by Theology as a romantic event. Before this happens Rev. 8 must happen, which some people suggests will be Sept. 23 of 2015, according, to amongst, others Isaac Newton. See Google Search.

Dear Friends, Mon 20th Apr 2015 0600 hrs

    Good Morning!
    152/15 Benefits Of Meditation!

When you are faced with what appears to be an
    insurmountable problem, raise your consciousness,
and view that problem from that mind state. Then
you will see it in a different light and will see how
to surmount it. Realize that there is always a way
out and never give up until you have found it – GOD

    1. Before we plunge into any venture a question that
is posed unhesitatingly is always on the benefits. Unlike
other fields where we find plethora of personalities to
propagate the benefits, the domain of meditation sadly
did not attract many nor are benefits handed over on a
platter. For various reasons mortals of this world eschewed
this path as they did not have clear foreknowledge of
everything that is demanded of a person.

    2. .This is the only path that can take every individual nearer
to God in each and to be in oneness with Him later – also
called mental oneness. This path is diametrically opposite
to physical oneness, commonly known as sexual bliss through
    two opposite genders.

    3. The benefits are:
    a. calmness of the mind at all times;
    b. thoughtless mind part of the day or the whole day;
    c. disappearance of all negative emotions – anger, fear
    and worry;
    d. keeps the illnesses at bay;

Earthquake swarms are one of the events that typically precede volcanic eruption. Swarms are massive bursts of fast energy. With that said, it would be wise to watch the New Madrid Fault, fracking swarm quakes in OK, TN, AK, WY, AK, TX.., Yellowstone caldera outer edge activity. And something appears to be building up W-NW of TN.
Major plate shift is now obvious in Idaho/Wyoming.
In the last 3 years scientific curiosity has turned to worry. I won’t even mention the supervolcanic chamber swarm in 2013. ..

Volcanic activity throws particles into atmospheric layers affecting weather, jetstream patterns, rain patterns..ozone, greenhouse, and haze. Guess that’s what scientists are now calling “global dimming”. A prerequisite to ice-age conditions.

Although I haven’t looked into it in depth, the sun affects volcanoes. And there is SOMETHING WRONG with the sun. THAT is why NASA got scrubbed. I have said this before, we are burning up.

I just hope my dream of seeing Pompeii comes true before all hell breaks loose, it’s not looking too good..

  • Priszilla

If you believe that life depends on a fine balance, then how much is needed to tip the balance? Will fracking have a local impact on tensions in mountain structures? Netherlands experience sinking land wherr they extracted oil. Germany has sink holes where they extracted coal. There are coal mines burning for hundreds of years in Russia and China. Would that have an impact? Man is operating power plants and furnaces for thousands of years. Transforming solids and liquids into gasses. Would that influence a balance?

  • N_Disnye

Kinda screws up the man made global warming argument when you see how much CO2 these babies churn out, and have been doing since time began and yet man has managed to exist nay expand to 7Bn in that time..

If the world blows, your god will let you starve to death just like everyone else. What a guy!?

    • Katewels

Yes what an amazing God. We who deserve to rot in hell forever for turning our backs on him, loved us enough to suffer unspeakable anguish on our behalf. Do you think we should never be allowed to suffer? We deserve better than than the one who created us to love and serve him? The good news is because of him our suffering will be short lived. Soon we will live forever in paradise never to suffer again. And in the meantime we have the promise that he will work all things out for our good. Sorry, but that promise is only to believers. Unbelievers will just suffer hopelessly now and forever.

      • Katewels

P.S. Think about it for a minute. If I’m wrong I have hope in the most difficult times. If you are wrong you are lost for eternity. Do you really want to risk it??

      • El mico

    • Kosaki Onodera

I think you misunderstood. Our God Almighty won’t let his children to suffer. People who truly love and serve God, they will have the protection. God shakes the world for people to wake up. Just like a parent shakes his child to get the child to listen. Why do you think he’s doing all this? Because he loves us! The world is so full of sin and evil, the holy Father is trying to wake us up! But HIS beloved children, servants, bride and elect will not have to suffer. They will be under his protecting wings. Because God’s wrath is not for them. But ONLY those who truly love and obey HIM has the protection. Not the pretenders who only say: ”Oh, I believe in Jesus Christ!” but truly don’t even know him. I’m not talking about lukewarm and unbelievers. But if they decide to turn away from their sins and truly obey God, they will be protected. There’s still hope for unsaved. Just turn to God before it’s too late! But remember, before God does something, he always sends his prophets to warn. Only if you’re interested enough to search, you would know.

      • Orange Jean

I hope you don’t shake your kids! True, it wasn’t well known earlier, but they know now it can cause traumatic brain injury… some kids have died that way. So I don’t think it’s a sign a parent loves his/her kids, unless they are ignorant of those facts.

      • GSOB

God’s suffering us when He prunes us. Suffering and evil in this world rightly exist only when perceived in this way. No one can stop Him as He works His ruthless perfection. He becomes our refuge.

He tests our faith and is never made out as a man, that He should lie when speaking about us.
Paul’s ministry was marked with suffering.

There are Christians beheaded on the other side of the world. John the Baptist was beheaded.
Stephen was stoned. Peter was crucified upside down. Paul was beheaded. John was exiled….

Like sheep we are being slaughtered all the day long for thy names sake… Psalm 44:22 & Romans 8:36.
He’s only concerned about the fruit, which is for the healing of the nations. We are caught in the love exchange between the Father and His Son as the Holy Spirit sanctifies us to Himself.
Satan hates God. He only knows the elect of God through their witness. He roams about seeking whom he can devour. Only God knows who He has chosen and so here we are in the 21st century, not to much unlike Adam & Eve, born twice into the same hostile environment but with faith hope and love that abides.
Satan and God both can cause sickness. Read Job.

Well, I have to wonder how many of the earthquakes in this country might have been caused by oil-shale fracking activity.

    • df NJ

I doubt fracking changes the geology enough to cause that much movement of energy. The tectonic plates are pretty massive. I’m sure it is possible but it doesn’t seem likely to me.

    • David_R59

Let me see if I’ve got this right: fracking in N.America causes earthquakes and volcanic eruptions in Japan!?

      • mister_roboto

Apparently, you did not read my comment very carefully at all. 🙂

    • USGS is looking into it.

However, it has some effects at a local level. Now, to have an impact on a bigger and deeper level remain to be seen, but noting is impossible. After all, Fracking is like playing “Sorcerer’s Apprentice” with Geology you don’t know much about – go figure how the deep ground will react to pressurized water and localized deep explosion 🙂

Our consciousness is connected to the overall mood of the planet. With great human turmoil comes great calamity, in one form or another. These are necessary changes that nature is making.

    • df NJ

I don’t know about where the overall mood comes from. But research has shown if 10% of minority political opinion or moral opinion gets swayed a change will occur. But the key finding is “distributed” opinion:

“We show how the prevailing majority opinion in a population can be rapidly reversed by a small fraction p of randomly distributed committed agents who consistently proselytize the opposing opinion and are immune to influence. Specifically, we show that when the committed fraction grows beyond a critical value pc=10%, there is a dramatic decrease in the time Tc taken for the entire population to adopt the committed opinion. In particular, for complete graphs we show that when ppc, Tc~lnN. We conclude with simulation results for Erdos-Rényi random graphs and scale-free networks which show qualitatively similar behavior.”

  • DJohn1

If I am correct, this is all part of a side effect.
The government let it slip out a couple of weeks ago and most people missed the significance of it completely.
Since 1985, the balance of carbon dioxide increased 15 or more percent.
A recent HBO series on a news network slipped out that a prominent man with many degrees predicted the Earth would not have a breathable atmosphere in the very near future. It is fiction, right! Well the two go hand in hand. Fiction is often used to communicate things that prominent people fear to release because their jobs are on the line.
Here it is. I have no job to worry about and I am not a qualified scientist. I do have a very analytical mind and a good imagination.
Carbon Dioxide up 15% translates to a melting of the poles. Carbon Dioxide transmits heat very well.
Melt even a part of the poles and you transmit -40 F. to average over 100 degrees F. at the equator. That means the temperatures average out all over the planet. That means above the freezing point of water. Between about 28 degrees F. and 34 degrees F. water expands instead of contracts.
That means the snow and ice at the poles expands then turns to water. Whether it is snow ice from an ocean or fresh water is only a matter of a few degrees difference in this expansion.
Suddenly millions of pounds of ice no longer is there holding the platelets in place. That means the poles are rising as the weight goes away. That produces a chain reaction all over the planet causing volcanoes and earthquakes all over the place. That expansion has to go somewhere.
To me God is all powerful, supreme being, and capable of anything. If God chooses anything is possible.
But what I see here is mankind’s own undoing because they were too stupid to know what the consequences of their actions might be long term.
That CO2 rise is directly because of the actions of mankind.
It is a direct reaction to all the Carbon Dioxide released in the form of Carbon Monoxide from car and truck emissions all over the planet. Both of which upset the balance of oxygen/carbon dioxide levels that plants cannot change back fast enough.
One volcano produces more gases than all of it put together. This only increases the change.
If I am right we need to park those trucks and cars right now.
    That will not happen.
    Probably I am wrong.

    • jakartaman

You are wrong – The planet froze over complete 3 times in its 4.6Billion years before humans. It will again with humans.

Sorry, I read “always will be” as “always will be”.

      • iHeartScience

Your thesis on historical planetary changes is amusing at best. Conveniently leaving out cause and effect makes one appear arrogantly stupid. Your apparent problem with ‘ one-up’manship is appaling. You are entitled to your opinion, but you are NOT entitled to your own facts.

      • DJohn1

The Sun does contribute to the problem.
The Earth has a very hot center. The Earth at basement level is 52 degrees F. So everything has to go from there.

The ocean currents also contribute. That is why Europe is fairly warm even though it is far north of what warm should be.
I think the entire thing is a very fine tuned balancing act as far as temperatures are concerned.
I still think the release of weight of the glaciers has a lot to do with the volcanoes and earthquake situation.

          • nobody

No, all it has are crappy easily debunkable childish tales.
Because nothing is eternal, not even your god and his cult. To be more specific we humans die because in a living organism originally created by the division of a single egg cell there is a limit on how many times a cell can divide and still perform as required – when that limit is reached the cell starts to malfunction and dies. When sufficient cells die that the functioning of an organ becomes affected that triggers the entire organism’s death.

            BTW who oversees your overseer?

          • algol2000

The nature of all things is disorder. An increase in entropy. There must be someone out there keeping it all in place. And the overseer is subject to his own laws. If you own a pet, and it depends on you for sustenance, who overrules you if you refuse to feed it? Goodness is a behaviour bound by love.

          • nobody

If you would have gone to school instead of being brainwashed by your mother at home you would have learned that entropy increases only in an closed system. Newsflash, Earth isn’t one, since it receives plenty of energy from the sun. So your argument is less than worthless, it’s damaging to your cause.
The law and my education, the one my parents gave it to me – see, no god necessary.
No, goodness is a behaviour created by education and enforced by society.

          • algol2000

For example the ‘gay’, abortion ‘rights’, and the no-fault divorce goodness? Do you know that your godless society is degenerating into a gerontocracy? This is also an example of increase in entropy. Any system not properly maintained falls into decay and is replaced by another that keeps the universal laws. Just as you need mankind to oil the engine of a car so that the useful lifespan is preserved. You also need an overseer over the earth to remove evil-doers so that the equilibrium of the universe is preserved. Watch as your ‘educated’ society with declining birthrate falls into decay and Russia and China(both cultured places with a strong tradition) takes over. Goodness is a moral question dependent upon God’s laws, and has nothing to do with ‘education'(BRAINWASHING).

          • nobody

There is nothing wrong with any of the above. No not our society, just yours, because the rest of us are abandoning it in even greater numbers than before. There are no universal laws, just laws that are convenient to a specific society at a specific time. No, i don’t, i can actually grow a plant in my garden exactly for that, it’s called ricin. We already have that overseer, it’s the third power in our society, the judicial system. And that’s wrong because… Since there are no god’s law simply because your god, just like every other god, doesn’t exist, your entire rant is worthless.

          • algol2000

Your third power, the judiciary is doing the bidding of the hidden hand. And so are you, through your judiciary. Enjoy your gay ‘rights’ while muslims, indians and mexicans take over your land.

          • nobody

I see absolutely nothing wrong with any of that. BTW the judiciary only interprets and enacts the laws , they don’t make them. On the other hand the mexicans and indians are only taking back what was stolen from them. And no, muslims aren’t taking anything, apart from some low paying jobs.

          • algol2000

And do you think that the judiciary and the lawmakers does this based on their own convictions? Where did they get these convictions from? And how do they know that these convictions, based on popular vote are the best for society? We just have to wait and see. This decade will prove you wrong.

          • nobody

Of course that the judge based on their own convictions, just like you. They get them from the education that they have received. Because this is the general opinion. When that opinion will change probably theirs too. Nah, this decade has provided until no nothing of the kind, on the contrary, and there are no indications that the situation will ever change.

          • algol2000

You do seem to realize that your so-called leaders are steeped in the occult, don’t you? Skull and Bones, Scottish Freemason, Illuminati. Why do you think anyone will vote this way or that based on education? Will you, as an employee vote against the direction of your boss? Ofcourse, you will, if you do not mind getting fired. Education is what they give you so that you can stay in line. And most of your leaders simply do the bidding of the hidden hand. Please read up the protocols of the learned elders of Zion for more info.

Time for another review of Matthew chapter 24…

Regardless of whether you remember the old “Sanford and Son” TV skit, where Redd Foxx grabs his heart and screams “Elizabeth! This is it! This is the big one!” — I really do believe we are in the last days foretold in the Bible.

If you think it’s going to get better, it will. But we’re going to have to go through hell to get to those better times.

Really, it doesn’t matter. We can’t change what happens on the sun, only try to survive it. The same goes with a super volcano eruption. We can try to survive earthquakes with better building techniques but 2nd and 3rd world countries can’t afford those, witness Nepal or Honduras. For everyday people, try to live in a less susceptible area and live your life. Get a bug out bag ready if you want, but worry won’t help.

We can cut down are carbon emissions. Back in the 1960s the Air Forced developed a really cool type of nuclear reactor to be used with nuclear powered airplanes. But it was moth-balled in favor of the Navy’s design because the Navy’s design the waste could be used to make nuclear weapons. We need to allow scientists to solve our problems again. The lack of political will to solve the energy crisis is stunning.

      • Scottar

The elitists want a carbon tax as they have run-up the debt with their financial schemes, the endgame of which is to bring down the middle class and make them subservient to the NWO agenda. If you can’t see that then your living in a media blackhole.

    • Orange Jean

Actually, historically there were much better survival rates in some of those countries before “modern” architecture. For example, in the 70s there was a huge earthquake in Managua, Nicaragua that did a lot more damage than earlier equally large ones. That was because a lot of people replaced their “shacks” with cement or something similar. When the shacks shake and fall down, a lot less likely to kill someone.

      I agree worry won’t help.

Just a personal response to your post. I live in the Florida panhandle and what you say about the heat is undeniable here. Much of the foliage/trees is burned up, dead or dying. Huge trees are snapping and falling over. One absolutely cannot stand in the sun. While driving, I now put a towel on my lap to avoid a burn.
U V’S on the planet are now deadly, we will never know the real truths. What about that huge sunspot?
Fukushima meltdowns logically ripped the ozone to shreds.

Know this, the Antichrist, (anti in the Greek meaning instead of Christ) comes first. 2 Thessalonians 2. Pick up the subject in verse 1 and continue on “Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

    3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

It’s a historical fact that during the last major cooling event in Europe (I think in about the 1600’s) caused by a volcano in Iceland, the ash and gases carried a lot of fluoride. There was very high mortality in Europe especially amongst the peasants who worked the fields, because they breathed the contaminated air. There were huge deaths caused by hunger (due to reduced crop yields) and the fluoride poisoning. I’m sure the extra acid (from sulfur compounds) and other toxins, etc didn’t help either. These days, the fine dust causes damage to aircraft jet engines. A major volcanic event would impact the whole world i a host of different ways…

Jesus is dead, he died 2000 years ago like the common criminal he was.

          • Simon

“Childish horror stories” and yet here you are, arguing and fighting and trying to convince people your ideology is correct.

I don’t see you arguing about any other stories, just God’s, which makes it sort of seem like you know there is power in Christ that you need to fight against.

Unbelievers like you are still fighting against us two thousand years on – specifically because Jesus rose from the dead. As they say, Jesus is the only one to have claimed to have risen from the dead and made an argument out of it – there’s a good reason why.

I did my share of fighting too – but in the end, we will all acknowledge that Jesus is God’s appointed king, freely or forcibly.

          • nobody

No, there is no power in a fictional character from an ancient book, but there is a lot of power in the morons that believe it to be true. And no, Jesus is nowhere near the only one to have claimed to have risen from the dead and used it as an argument towards its own cult , he’s actually one of the last in a long, long line.
Nah, the only thing we’ll all acknowledge is that you’re a gullible moron that has believed an obvious work of fiction. The sad part is that you tried to make all those around you live according to it, willing or not.

          • Simon

Are you being forced to come to this Website run by a Christian where Christians regularly talk about Christian things? Or are you forcing your way in to spy out and complain about our freedom in Christ and pretend like you are free because you ad hominem us? Our freedom can be yours – Jesus is just waiting for you to reach out for him. He loves you nobody – to Jesus you are somebody. And I like you too, despite you accusations against me. You have a bit of fight in you – I can relate to that! You are somebody to me.

If you were right though and there was no God, then all there would be in the universe are forces – gravitational forces, nuclear forces, and people forcing other people. That would be expected and yet you don’t like it and accuse us of it.

And there would only be your subjective opinion to claim that it was “sad” or “true” or any of other those other words you keep using that necessitate objectivity and a morality that we must all adhere to.

Where exactly do you get your objectivity from again? Other people? Ancient philosophers? Consensus?

Have you thought through your own naturalistic worldview? Why should anyone be nice if there is no God? Why shouldn’t we “force you” as you claim? Animals eat animals every day. If there is no God, why shouldn’t we eat you?

          • nobody

Because you should be a civilized human being and behave accordingly. For Cthulhu’s sake, even rats show compassion towards other rats, it’s only you xians and fellow cultists that lack it.
BTW if there is a more fitting example than your rant here that xians are truly evil sociopaths please post a link to it, because that would be something very special.

          • Simon

lol, you realise I’m using a technique of rhetoric right?

You are just slinging mud – “cultists”, “sociopaths”, etc. I’m not offended – when I was a naturalist, I did that too. Like I said nobody, I like you – you’re somebody to me. I enjoy talking to you!

BTW One might say that not returning insult to someone who keeps throwing insults is compassionate… 😉

But why not answer the question of objective morality according to the naturalist worldview?

How can anyone say anything is good or bad if morality is something people just made up? Animals don’t decide between wrong and right – they hump legs, eat their own faeces, and eat each other. If humans should behave differently, why?

If there is a standard all humanity should strive for though – whose standard is it and where did it come from?

You see what I’m getting at right?

            No cure for death.
Without death, there is no resurrection.

It is the resurrection life that is Christ Himself, is what you need.

Death is our enemy but at the same time we need to understand that it is a “just” sentence from a “just” God on you for your sin.

Jesus Christ is God’s salvation to us. Call upon the name of the Lord for that salvation.

I understand all u ppl have ur faith in the bible n ppl like me who does not have that blind faith are considered pegan. Also u consider Norse (viking) religion as pegan. One thing is all have form of end times. The Norse knew b4 anyone else that the earth was round cuz their god said so. Before anyone knew. They say that the world is giant ball of water held together by a snake biting its own tail(translation: gravity, magnetic field s) and there end times would be that it let go of its tail the earth will burn and drowned in water from giant waves. So quote your script, but its all stated dif. Norse are closest in my eyes. Its all just science though. Mother earth is living god who does unpredictable things and we will see end times

    • Saved By Grave

There is only one true G-d. He is the judeo-christian G-d. The bible is an inspired book of fulfilled prophesies, both secular and religious. They concern nations, and people, and the most profound person of all: Jesus. Please read about the historical person of Jesus, and the prophesies concerning him: his life, death, and resurrection. He is what I call the bullseye of all logic, philosophy, history, etc. Without Him as the starting point, you will be like the ancient relativist greeks who just sat around and wasted time talking about make belief stories.

      • dustin kurowski

Yes n Norse n Greek predates christian. B4 then Greek gods were one true faith. To me u Christians waste time telling stories. I love that ppl find comfort in whatever their religion is. I’m just not a child. I don’t need imaginary father telling me what to do to be good. I live a more moral life and do more acts of good works than any christian you ever met. Like I said if you find comfort in it good for you and all the best with that. To me no matter what you have faith in it is narrow minded to not explore other possibilities. The smartest men on earth have my same opinion but could be wrong

        • Saved By Grace

Your right. There are two kinds of people in the world, those who see G-d’s hand behind life and creation, and those who attribute it to chance. That’s fine.

Dustin, everything you said about the freedom to choose your own path in life, about not being force fed a “father figure” all go without saying and border on being patronizing. The appeal regarding “the smartest men” is a logical fallacy etc, Stop trolling the internet son. Don’t you know that most Christians are very tough skinned since we have chosen the narrow road and wage war against the world, the flesh, and the devil? An iconoclast in a wifebeater on the internet is just a source of amusement…

        • GSOB

“To me u Christians waste time telling stories.”
          That’s perfectly natural.
The reason for that dustin kurowski, is this:
          1 Corinthians 2:14

      • nobody

Nah, Nostradamus has way more fulfilled prophecies and nobody thinks that he’s god.
Jesus was just a minor rabbi of an extremist jewish sect that got whacked by the romans as countless others in that time. And no, he hasn’t fulfilled none of the prophecies, just ask any rabbi and he’ll be ready to tell you that you follow an idol.
Oh, you mean as the greeks that gave us our modern society? In that case please, can we get more?

        • Saved By Grace

lol. nostradamus’ prophecies were extremely vague. a fortune teller uses the same tricks.
the bible has fulfilled prophecy down to the smallest details which makes it unique.

there are messianic jews rightly interpret the prophecies concerning Jesus. no doubt there are rabbis who willfully have the blinders on.

the greeks had a silly pantheon of make believe gods. it proves how bored and lazy they were. look a the mess their descendants are in today lol.

          • nobody

The bible prophecies are even worse, no wonder that dozens of fringe rabbis tried to pass themselves as the Messiah. So no, they aren’t fulfilled in any way – don’t trust me on that, just ask a rabbi, any rabbi, even a reformed female one will do. You to have an entire pantheon , with your 3 gods, Jesus, Moses, Noah and all those prophets, and look where you are now, lol.

Everyone believes their own dogma is the only one true bulls-eye of belief. I would argue most people are fans of Jesus. Very view people live their lives according to his teachings. When we have endless wars, violence, and poverty Jesus no longer exists. Jesus lives right now in our World when we live our lives according to his teachings. Most people are mean and disrespectful especially to people who do not share their own dogma of belief. Most people treat other people who do not share their own same dogma as sub-humans. Fans love to fight other fans.

  • Saved By Grave

It’s a sad thing that despite all of the many “signs of the times,” and fulfilled biblical prophesies, humanists continue to be willfully blind, believing they can improve the world for the better. How can they hope to solve the world’s problems when Jeremiah said “the heart is deceitful and desperately wicked.” That means YOUR heart son. Everyone’s heart.

Science, in the hands of hopelessly depraved and fallen men will only continue to make better atom bombs unless a fundamental change takes place in human hearts.

Ye must be born again. Only then can the world problems be solved…environmental, political, social, etc…I feel sorry for humanists/atheists who are trying to tackle the world’s hopeless problems. Lets pray for them, and treat them with respect.

All of these horrible things in the world are supposed to drive us closer to G-d. Sadly, many of us are deaf to chastisement, and things go from bad to worse.

The man made horrors in the Book of Revelation are coming sooner rather than later. Humble yourself unbeliever, seek G-d with an open heart and mind, and he will reveal himself to you.

I agree, and my background includes an MS in geography with specialty in natural hazards and a thesis on deaths and injuries due to earthquakes.

Most of what is written there about earthquakes is sheer ignorance.

Michael, geology really isn’t your strong suit.

  • Whitebum

Now to all the arrogant and ignorant populous in SA, this just means that Christ is coming…

    • df NJ

I’m all for a cataclysm destruction of all the sinners but unfortunately the skeptic in me bends my thoughts to a scientific mind. Based on the conjectures I read Nibiru would have to be traveling faster than the 2400 km/s which is faster than our galactic escape velocity. Our sun’s gravity would not be strong enough to bring the object around for another pass.

“Astronomers reject the idea of Nibiru, and have made efforts to inform the public that there is no threat to Earth. They point out that such an object so close to Earth would be easily visible to the naked eye. A planet such as Nibiru would create noticeable effects in the orbits of the outer planets. Some counter this by claiming that the object has been concealed behind the Sun for several years, though this would be geometrically impossible. Most photographs showing “Nibiru” by the Sun are in fact of lens flares, false images of the Sun created by reflections within the lens.

Astronomer Mike Brown notes that if this object’s orbit were as described, it would only have lasted in the Solar System for a million years or so before Jupiter expelled it, and that there is no way another object’s magnetic field could have such an effect on Earth.[33] Lieder’s assertions that the approach of Nibiru would cause the Earth’s rotation to stop or its axis to shift violate the laws of physics. In his rebuttal of Immanuel Velikovsky’s Worlds in Collision, which made the same claim that the Earth’s rotation could be stopped and then restarted, Carl Sagan noted that, “the energy required to brake the Earth is not enough to melt it, although it would result in a noticeable increase in temperature: The oceans would [be] raised to the boiling point of water … [Also,] how does the Earth get started up again, rotating at approximately the same rate of spin? The Earth cannot do it by itself, because of the law of the conservation of angular momentum.”

In a 2009 interview with the Discovery Channel, Mike Brown noted that, while it is not impossible that the Sun has a distant planetary companion, such an object would have to be lying very far from the observed regions of the Solar System to have no detectable gravitational effect on the other planets. A Mars-sized object could lie undetected at 300 AU (10 times the distance of Neptune); a Jupiter-sized object at 30,000 AU. To travel 1000 AU in two years, an object would need to be moving at 2400 km/s – faster than the galactic escape velocity. At that speed, any object would be shot out of the Solar System, and then out of the Milky Way galaxy into intergalactic space.”

      • Whitebum

Hi, yes, I am aware of this, have red it. If one should look at the rotational velocity of the earth, at a distance of one AU from the sun, the earth takes 265 days to complete one rotation. At this speed the earth would take I think about 1.9 months to complete that journey from the sun to where the earth is now, i.e. one AU. Nibiru is a brown dwarf, roughly the size of Jupiter, having 7 ‘moons’ orbiting it, like electrons orbiting its neutron, not in a celestial plan like our solar system. This ‘system’ completes the journey of one AU in 7 -8 days. Ref the Sumerian text, as well as the ‘Apocalypse of Thomas’, which was part of the Bible. Dr Tom von Flaanderin from the Naval Observatory in the USA calculated it’s mass prior to the article he wrote. He found that there was a perturbation in the outer planets orbits, which led him to the discovery of ‘Planet X’. Dr. Harrington, his associate, went to Australia with his telescope, but died of cancer on arrival, seen to be very strange. Many claim to have seen Nibiru behind the sun, but that’s just false information. There is however talk of a sister planet behind the sun, Clarion, which supposedly move from the one extreme left of the sun, to the other right extreme, in 227 days, and there is even a photo that someone obtained from NASA, ? but it’s not definitive. According to prophecy there is a meteor that now sometime should hit earth, on the 2nd day of the big war, (Nostradamus, Alois Irlmayer), and then there after Nibiru would pass.( Bible, & mother Shipton, The Late Great Planet Earth of Hal Linsey…) (and 2Pet. 3 for example). See also Caesarius Heistergach (1180-1240)

Whats in the offering here is a Cataclysm, explained in the Kolbryn Bible as well as the Sumerian text. But all in all I feel that it’s a good idea that this planet receives a Reset. Other wise its going to die.

    • Saved By Grace

No where in the bible does it say the earth is flat.

In our society, we don’t often look at the moon but the ancient societies of the world sure did, frequently living in the open under it. If a person didn’t know, a few days (or if need be months and years) looking at the moon would make it pretty clear that it is spherical. Call me crazy but the ancients could figure out that the earth is spherical too, especially when the circular shadow of the earth appears on the moon during a lunar eclipse. Seafaring societies could also note ships and their sails sinking below the horizons.

    Let them all erupt.

Who cares? I sure the heck don’t.

This whole world is garbage anyway. Everyone of us is out for ourselves. No one cares about what is right and decent and good. We complain when people don’t treat us right, yet have no qualms about doing the same thing to other people.

From now on I am going to be like every other egocentric, self absorbed SOB on this planet.

It does not pay to do what is right. People only want to hear what makes them feel good. Heck they are willing to shell out hundreds of upon thousands of dollars to shysters and not bat an eye. Only to feel hurt when the pied piper makes off with their retirement savings.

We deserve to be lorded over by the 1% because most of us are too lazy to think for ourselves.

    • df NJ

If it’s any consolation you are not alone in your sentiment.

There’s an interesting way of thinking in Eastern religion. It claims our mind’s psychological state will determine how we view our world. If our ego is clear of regrets and desires we are capable of experiencing happiness and well being in the present. But for me with my miserable life it will be 1000 years before my ego is ever clear of any regrets or desires.

When our ego is clouded with regrets and desires we cannot help but endlessly judge everyone around us. You only criticize and hate in other people what you do not like about your own character. So according to Eastern religion when you say “no one cares about what is right and decent and good” means you are unhappy with yourself for not being more caring, right, descent, and good. So figure out a way to care for someone in your life and you will see the World as a better place.

      • Trevor

I’ve found eastern mysticism to be a lot of psycho babble. I can’t relate to any of that because it doesn’t cut to the chase.

A person’s happiness is not dependent on whether the world is a good or bad place, and how he views it, but on the health of his relationship with his creator. God is the source of life and real happiness.

The “clearing the ego of regrets” is achieved by forgiveness and the shedding of Christ’s blood. “Desires” also subside when a person walks according to the spirit and not the flesh.

        • df NJ

I tried responding but everything I post requires approval.

Please don’t feel this way. I don’t know if you are a Christian or not, but God watches over everybody and knows men’s hearts and secrets. I know that when you feel that you’re trying to be a nice guy (or girl) and help others, and they want to belittle you or are arrogant or just don’t care, I know it hurts. Been there before.

But because God watches over people and sees all that they do, if you are a Christian, you will be blessed for trying to do good and help others. And if you aren’t a Christian, maybe its your heart prompting you to love others? Christ loved people so much that he died for them, to give them right standing with himself and God. To give you a future and a hope, to not fear death, but to be overcomers of this world and to be the light that shines forth through the darkness.

You sound like a nice person. Please don’t change your good heart and love for others into a bitterness like so many other people do. Keep shining your light.

      And God bless you.

In every moment of every day there is an equal amount of evidence our Universe is coming to and end and it is not. The way we look at the World is determined by our bigotry, prejudice, and bad mood. People in love only experience hope. People living in misery only see misery and potential death.

      • Trevor

Those are some big generalizations but I agree, the universe will endure forever, but this sinful world as we know it will not.

Second, even in love people eventually lose hope at the end of their lives, those who have no hope in an afterlife. This is the general folly of the atheist and humanist, he has nothing to be hopeful about. Hope is the expectation of a better future, not oblivion.

    • Trevor

I agree. Jesus said: “pray always (meditate) that you will be counted worthy to escape all these things” (the great tribulation).

The Kingdom of God resides in every believer through the holy spirit, and will be fully realized and consummated by Christ’s literal and eternal reign on earth. This is the hope of every Christian.

If the kingdom of god is within all of us, then this means that we are in fact gods. We have more power and control than our handlers want us to realize. Each one f us has been created in the image and likeness of God We don’t become God Today we
are living with Small Self called EGO.
Yet Big Self, GOD, is controlling all of us in
different ways but we don’t know! When we make
friendship with God through the process of meditation with all pre-requisites observed, we
        are delegated with more powers
All negative emotions disappear. We are imbued with positive emotion of love!. Love in us keeps
all diseases at bay. We also become self-healers.
Everything that has been created by democracies
will disappear totally. There are multifarious
benefits when we commune with our own soul daily before dawn!
For instance when I get fever by chance, I don’t
go to a doctor. I just repeat the expression
“Fever go away” for five minutes. Fiver disappears in 15 minutes!
Thoughtless state of mind is the key to all
the benefits. It can be for an hour or the whole
day. It means we are moving away from the
conscious mind that troubled our life!.

We are our body is an illusion!. We breathe on this earth because of soul/God in us. The moment soul leaves the body, we die.
In the realm of Universe there is nothing accidental or co-incidental; everything happens for a purpose,

What’s sad is there are so many, even many professing Christians, who mock and scoff(2Peter 3) about the second coming and the signs that are everywhere. Many will go through the tribulation kicking themselves because they missed their chance to come to Christ this side of the tribulation. I know many will scoff, demonize and marginalize and name call those who speak as I do, come to Christ before it’s too late. There is no reasoning with them it seems, they see the end times as a fairy tale and also see the free gift of God as foolishness.

Luke 12:56 Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?
1Cor 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise…

    • nobody

Ask yourself this: why would an all-knowing god need to test us? Why would he need to make a later choice?

      • GSOB

To approve us, ….if we pass the ‘test’.

Why does the teacher in school test you?

Is it to see if you can proceed to the next level?

The teacher knows all the answers but tests the students in order to prove them.

Jesus was tested and proved on all points as we but he passed and was highly exalted. His righteousness is given to the repentant sinner so that they become the righteousness of God in Christ.

        2 Corinthians 5:21
He made Him who knew no sin to be sin on our behalf, so that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

        Philippians 2:12, 13

So then, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who is at work in you, both to will and to work for His good pleasure.

        Get it?

        Read Hebrews 4:4 >11
        You have not yet resisted to the point of shedding blood in your striving against sin;
and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons,

It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline?
But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live?
For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness.
All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.

        • nobody

A teaches tests us because he doesn’t know how much we have learned, an all knowing god does and has known it even before creating the universe. So either your god is not all knowing or you (plural, as in you and your god) are full of it.

I won’t be kicking myself at all. In fact I think I shall rather enjoy all these tribulations since I know they are NOT coming to pass in my lifetime nor the lifetime of subsequent generations.

What I do know is that each society has a life span before it ends. That when the human population becomes too self centered and too evil for the current planet they are wiped out of existence due to their own fault and the cycle starts over again, perhaps with a different set of parameters in place to see what the new outcome will be.

Almost like a science experiment and we and the generations we breed are the mice running through the maze of life.

    Kepha Bet/II Pet 3

1 This is now, beloved ones, the second letter I write to you, in which I stir up your sincere mind, to remember 2 the words previously spoken by the set-apart prophets, and of the command of the Master and Saviour, spoken by your emissaries, 3 knowing this first: that mockers shall come in the last days with mocking, walking according to their own lusts, 4 and saying, “Where is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all continues as from the beginning of creation.” 5 For they choose to have this hidden from them: that the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by the Word of Elohim,*n1 6 through which the world at that time was destroyed, being flooded with water. 7 And the present heavens and the earth are treasured up by the same Word, being kept for fire, to a day of judgment and destruction of wicked men. 8 But, beloved ones, let not this one matter be hidden from you: that with יהוה one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. 9 יהוה is not slow in regard to the promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward us, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance.*n2 10 But the day of יהוה shall come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with intense heat, and the earth and the works that are in it shall be burned up. 11 Seeing all these are to be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be in set-apart behaviour and reverence, 12 looking for and hastening the coming of the day of Elohim, through which the heavens shall be destroyed, being set on fire, and the elements melt with intense heat! 13 But according to His promise we wait for a renewed heavens and a renewed earth in which righteousness dwells. 14 So then, beloved ones, looking forward to this, do your utmost to be found by Him in peace, spotless and blameless, 15 and reckon the patience of our Master as deliverance, as also our beloved brother Sha’ul wrote to you, according to the wisdom given to him, 16 as also in all his letters, speaking in them concerning these matters, in which some are hard to understand,*n3 which those who are untaught and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do also the other Scriptures. 17 You, then, beloved ones, being forewarned, watch, lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the delusion of the lawless, 18 but grow in the favour and knowledge of our Master and Saviour יהושע Messiah. To Him be the esteem both now and to a day that abides. Amĕn.

This question is for all the christians out there. Have you ever really thought about what you will be doing once you get to heaven? The idea of just sitting around praising and worshipping god for eternity sounds boring and tiresome. Since you won’t be having children, have a house (don’t need one since you will not have a physical body), won’t have to eat, drink, work to survive. What will you do?

Since there is no sin and only goodness in heaven. What will be your purpose for all of eternity? What is the appeal in living forever if you are constrained forever in an eternal cycle of the ordinary every single day?

I assume some of the answers I receive will be earthly and man centered, but really if you are a christian and believe that heaven is it and the only dimension what is the point of living for eternity?

I know in the bible you have the earthly description of the streets being paved in gold, but so what? Gold has no value in heaven and I really do not think that gold was the literal interpretation.

Also the crack about the many mansions seems dubious at best as a physical body does not need a mansion and this again would be an earthly interpretation.

So without earthly interpretations what exactly do you expect to be doing in heaven in a never ending cycle?

    • Nicole

One thing I like about Tolkien is his “gift of death” mythology. While world weary men are granted rest from the toils and sorrows of the world, the elves’ immortality is seen as a curse. Tolkien understood the condition of man, that while man fears death, in a way, death is a friend that puts and end to continual loss and decrepitude,

It’s not surprising that you would ask a question like that, from the perspective of a finite and earthly man. God says “at My right hand are pleasures forevermore” and “eye has not seen nor ear heard, what God has prepared for those who love him. We’ll just have to take him at his word until then.

In Christian theology, an even worse scenario than an eternal life of bliss is an eternal life of separation from God. Both locations offer all the time in the world to ruminate.

For me it’s a no brainer. I choose my creator, I choose to be reunited with loved ones, I choose life, eternal life. Makes me cry when I consider it and I can’t wait.

      • Curouis

Nope eternal separation from god does not bother me one bit because I know the christian account is wrong just like all the other religions of the world and their opinions about what happens after death.

I don’t fear death at all. In fact I look forward too it.

I imagine when we die and look into the face of God we will be so enamored by God’s beauty that we will not have any time for conscious thought. So when you get there you may not be able to think about anything else all eternity. My feeling however is an omnipotent God will use his powers of infinite forgiveness to let everyone through the gates of heaven regardless of our earthly sins. An omnipotent God has the power. And who are we to judge God?

    • Simon

If you are really interested, here is my honest answer.

Every time I encounter Jesus, it is better than anything I have ever done or experienced. The first time I met Jesus is still the defining moment of my life and it’s the moment I recall when life gets frustrating and painful. Just one word from God and I am shaken from dullness into life once again. And at the moment in this age, we only see Jesus dimly. When he is revealed in the fullness of glory, our eyes will not falter and neither will our hearts.

Before I knew Jesus, I did drugs, I drank, I slept around, I travelled, I studied, I ate, and I filled my life with the most entertaining things I could find. I count it all as worthless rubbish compared to the immeasurable glory of knowing Jesus.

A very low view of God would suggest that God is not capable of fascinating us for eternity.

When you meet Jesus though, you will know full well that the depths of glory in God will enthrall us for all eternity and then some. It will make all the things we pursue in this life outside of Jesus akin to eating dog turds on the side of the road.

A teacher once said “God’s not boring, you are boring!” It’s true. There is nothing more fascinating and captivating than Jesus.

      • curoius

That really did not answer my question. A state of mind can be induced by anything as our minds have great power. Think about the placebo effect. I am glad you found your placebo effect and hope you continue on that path for yourself.

        • Simon

It doesn’t answer every question you asked but it answers the first few. But you weren’t really looking for an answer. Atheists on Christian website rarely do. Call it “placebo” all you like but you know God is and you don’t want to answer to him. In spite of this, you will answer to him.

Jesus took his throne in 1914, and then WWI started. Then WWII and so on. More wars and earthquakes and pandemics and lawlessness and so on since that year. Check the stats and it will become evident. Soon the U.N. will destroy Babylon (religions claiming to be Christian) and then the final battle is upon us. It’s all spelled out pretty clearly in the scriptures, and they have yet to be wrong about anything so far.

    • nobody

Jesus couldn’t have taken anything then, he didn’t had a throne to begin with. BTW a dead man, especially one that has been dead for almost 2000 years, can’t do anything whatsoever.

I said in 1914. And stop being so rediculous.

        • nobody

Please show me what throne, where it is, over whom it reigned and from whom it took it. Because i checked all history books and with the exception of a few nameless and barely identified tribes in Africa no thrones changed hands in 1914.

          • Emery Richards

I thought I asked you to stop being rediculous. This is the Kingdom of the Heavens I am talking about, not some Earthly throne. The Kingdom rules the Earth after the tribulation. After all governments and religions, and those ruining the Earth are destroyed, Jesus will reign over Earth for one thousand years, called judgement day. Any of this sound familiar?

          • nobody

Again, please show me where that Kingdom of the Heavens is, who ruled it before it and where exactly is this throne located. Yes, it does, it’s just that none of them are real. So either prove that they are or admit that you’re completely delusional.

Nah, i’m not like you, i got educated early in my life instead of getting brainwashed by my parents in believing this crapola like you have.

          • Emery Richards

Well, Nobody, you’ve sort of got the right idea, but I don’t have any crapola that I believe. Crapola comes from religions, and according to the Bible, ALL religions are FALSE. So not believing anything they say is a very good thing. BUT, the scriptures are not false. We should study them and do what they teach. I wouldn’t use a false translation though. Almost all are false translations. Young’s literal translation, the Orthodox Jewish Bible, and the New World Translation are about the only three that are accurate. So, if you ever thought you did not want to be totally destroyed, forever, by God in the final battle, which is really pretty close now, then study an accurate translation and do what it says. Otherwise, just disregard this post. Your choice.

    • Muhammad Abbass

The cycle is fairly evidently according to the data thousands of years long. It could also be a cycle within a cycle or cycles. We may have max/min times and min/min times as well as MAX/MAX times and thus hundreds year cycles now manage to be in sync with thousands of years cycles in a way which produces a cycle with hundreds of thousands of years between. In fact this is exactly what is this way coming in my opinion.

      • tayronachan

        I agree.

  • Muhammad Abbass

Everything in the universe we see is cyclical. If you want to know what will happen in the future with geological, heliocentric or astronomical matters, the answer is clearly written in the past.

You lose the meaning of the myth in your fairy tales! THE CHRIST comes back in every generation in peacemakers and reformers in service of the TRUTH: we are all immortal consciousness! All life! The myth is about the degraded, perverse and greedy humanity of the technological era-a vision of the future from a first century perspective. Imagine John of Patmos looking at Times Square in a vision and translating that into Hebraic symbols of the first century. And forget your Bible fairy tales for children. It is foolish Hebraic Roman and Medieval dogma: the limited foolishness of conceited men. same with Islam: sibling rivals for God’s attention: trying to be “God’s favorite kids”. Foolish and ignorant children bickering in a sand box.

    • df NJ

It would be a nice discipline if people only quoted the teachings of Jesus as opposed to Jesus by fandom.

With all the wars and bombings going on it’s hard to think the immortal consciousness of Jesus has any manifestation at all in our collective mind.

The prose of the Bible may seem foolish by today’s linguistic standards but the message is still valid: Morality is important.

But there is something in what you’ve said about the King James version of the Bible. I’ve wondered after years of depression and misery caused by bad Venetian banking practices the Bible was rewritten to take away the core of Jesus teachings that were at the time antithetical to established government of monarchy.

Your attacks echo the same spirit of IS: one that hates people.

That is consistent with Muhammed and his perverted, antichrist religion.

Eyes on the Middle East – Jesus is coming to reign over the nations friend. Best get your oil.

    • TurningLeaves

Simon, the Qur’an states that Jesus was indeed a Prophet of God. Muslims know and believe (or at least they are SUPPOSED to, but like to ignore half of the Qur’an) that Jesus performed miracles through God’s Will. He healed lepers and the blind. He made a live bird out of clay. We believe this because God has said in our Holy Book many times over that Jesus was a Prophet.

The actual prophecy in Islam is that Jesus will return before Judgement Day and kill what Muslims call ‘Al-Masih al-Dajjal’, which is ‘Antichrist’ or false messiah in biblical terms.

The insanity and bloodthirst of modern Muslim fanatics was not EVER taught by Muhammad. I have no idea what their goal is but it has completely tarnished the image of Muslims. We aren’t believers in hatred. True Muslims are the ones who are tolerant of other people – better yet, love other people. True Muslims oppose injustice and cruelty (which is the very definition of IS) and believe that people are as God intends them to be. We believe that God has already planned everything that is to transpire.

If a Muslim can convert someone to Islam through preaching, awesome. But a Muslim who slaughters men and rapes women to establish his ‘caliphate’ is not a Muslim. He is NOT a Muslim.

    • Muhammad Abbass

Like TurningLeaves said Simon Islam believes Jesus is coming to reign exactly as you say. You are such a clueless individual you are accusing Muslims of believing the exact opposite of you on the EXACT issue upon which we are in complete agreement.
In fact just to make very clear how LITTLE YOU KNOW, the only significant difference between what Islam believes and what true Christians believe is that we do not believe Allah permitted His Prophet to be killed but an angel removed Him from the cross and substituted a robber and we do not believe Jesus was anything except the best of men of His time and a Prophet whose message was hijacked and diverted by enemies among men from an early time. As far as His birth and life we agree although the Quran explains more in detail and a few contradictions disappear and as far as his significance and role on earth we agree. Muhammad for example is not a higher ranking Prophet to us you know.

Lying is a strategy. Used by muslims to establish a base in a foreign nation in the name of peace. Then, all of a sudden they declare others infidels and the killing starts. Is this not how Muhammad, your prophet established his religion? Is it not stated in your Q’uran to kill infidels or put them to the jizyah (forced tax)?

Is it any wonder, then, that there are so many muslim sects today, each one calling the others infidels?

    You become what you practice.

    • Muhammad Abbass

Lying is ONLY permitted to a Muslim if it will save one’s life. That’s the one and only exception. However even then it is said that Allah prefers we speak truth and accept the consequences. Just as we are given some leeway with regards to avenge an act of violence or killing in return, we are taught Allah who is merciful would prefer we forego the right to vengeance and leave justice to Him. You like all Islamophobes are not only uninformed but misinformed in what little you think you know.

will make mistakes, but you will learn from them and so

Muhammad Abbass, Thank you, Sir, for sharing your viewpoints with all of us. Personally, I agree with you. I do not call myself a christian, nor do I consider myself a christian. But I do Love my Master, and from what I have read and been taught, his real name was and is, Yeshua Ben Joseph. I am not a catholic, but I do agree with John Paul the 2nd, when he said that in regards the religions of the world, “I believe that there is more which unites us than there is which divides us.” We are ALL brothers, May there be peace among us.

    • GSOB

We are not all brothers. You must be born again to be part of the new creation. Yes, we are one in regards to our sin nature. Yes, we all are still in Adam to some degree. Only Jesus, the last Adam, became a life giving spirit.

      John 5:23
      John 15:23
      1 John 4:2

      1 John 5:1

      2 John 1:9
We may be one in Adam but we are not brothers at all if you are not in Christ.

Well in ancient language Hu=God Man=man God man. man created in God’s image

Yes Larry I am fond of saying that it is not disagreements which cause wars, but misunderstandings. Dear Michael,
When I wrote to you about God in 2010, you questioned
me Who Is God. God is in all of us. We breathe, hear,
see and perform every activity moment to moment only
because of God. Once the soul leaves our body, we die.
Now, we cannot ignore the catastrophic events all over.
Texas and Oklahoma are striking examples. 7.8 mag of
earthquake struck Japan today. Two Hurricanes are forming
in the Pacific ocean to hit Baja California and Mexico
next week. There are many more incidents to take not eof.
God will not spare anyone until meditation is resorted.
He has a full control of every individual living on this earth.
We are poorly educated to understand Him. We are
misinterpreting all the incidents. We don’t read right books
to understand cosmology. We are totally biased to comprehend
    many things.
If men fail to meditate to survive and inhabit heavenly earth
to be created by God though the human minds, more women
than men will inhabit the earth. It could be in the ration of
100 men for every 1,000 women! It could be even a
    matriarchal society.
Let us not talk about any other issue but severe weather
conditions. More than 20 rivers are overflowing in China.
Wildfires caused shutdown of oil production sites in
    Alberta, Canada.
Our education is not sufficient to understand God.
We have no idea now how nightmarish the days ahead
are going to be! We are fooling ourselves through our own

there is so much misunderstood that it would take volumes – Yes. God created man with free will – man abuses free will and rebels – All mankind suffers death in rebellion – Jesus is a ransom for all of mankind who decide that the way of mankind is not so good – the blood and body are symbolic (bread and wine) – Only a few go to heaven to rule as priests and kings, the rest of acceptable mankind live on earth – Isaiah 65

    • Mike

Jesus was not a ransom – He is the perfectly acceptable sinless sacrifice for my sin and everyone’s sin if we accept Him as such and put our trust in Him. You are quoting Jehovah’s Witnesses doctrine and it is false.

  • Jay Clark

With an already negative and judgmental title to this website “The Economic Collapse”, I don’t expect to see much open-minded discussion about what just may be the earth “healing itself”, ie going through very natural reactions, and consequences, to natural forces or actions.

  • Steve Byrne

Amazing. An article about how seismic and volcanic activity may well cause chaos for billions of people, and perhaps level the playing field as far as nature is concerned, and it turns into a spat about ‘my imaginary God is better than your imaginary God’. The human race is likely screwed in many ways, one of the primary ones being that faced with catastrophe, people stand around quoting scripture at each other. Good luck with that.

  • Muhammad Abbass

You are letting your inherent bigotry and emotion get the better of you. What is more important in Allah’s eyes? A life or a lie? The fact that Allah demands a Muslim speak truthfully always but permits someone to lie to save a life is only a sign of the Bismillah – The ultimate mercy and love of Allah. Only a statist tool sees absolute truth despite all costs (rape, torture and death? Of others?) as desirable or reasonable. In your hateful and false idea of Islam you see a harsh and intolerant religion, which as a convert I now know to be utterly ridiculous. Your arrogance ands you to the mercy inherent in a teaching which says that you may tell an untruth if it will save a life. This is mercy and mercy is the most common adjective applied to Allah in the Noble Quran do you know? In the Bible it is rather more negative in tone with angry and jealous used for example, and neither word is ever used about Allah in the Quran.
So for an example, ISIS captures those unfortunate people in Syria and demands to know which sect or religion these people belong to. Knowing that to answer truthfully, Shias for example would realise they will be raped and tortured and murdered. Everyone knows this by now. So in fact many of those Muslims have chosen to speak truth and face the consequences for their faith. I wonder what you’d do hmmm? Yet obviously some would lie and say they were Sunni. They may even perform certain Sunni actions to further the deception. Yet YOU would condemn them for this? NOT even our Allah who demands that we speak truth at all times, is prepared to condemn them for choosing life. He says truth is better, because He knows our lives are nothing compared to what we are, but He is merciful. You are not. May Allah have mercy on your soul.

    • Muhammad Abbass

Islam has all bases covered in its teachings that is what you half wits do not realise. We are given specific teachings relating to all matters and nothing is left to chance or guesswork. I don’t even think there is a clear cut teaching about telling truth in the Bible or at least it will be contradictory. No contradictions in the Quran as confirmed by even non-Muslim scholars. No matter what teaching we have, any question you might imagine which begin with “what about if…” is covered. So we are told we must not lie, but we are given the one exception which is acceptable. Just as we are told that we must not kill, except in defending our families and property. We are given the exception once again in revenge. However we are also given limits. If we or our family is raped or tortured, we still cannot do either, we are only permitted to kill. We are not permitted to rape under any circumstances.
Even in the event of revenge Allah shows mercy, both allowing for blood money to be paid, avoiding further bloodshed and also He says clearly that even though He permits killing in revenge of a death, He is merciful and would be most pleased if we would also show mercy. The simple beauty of this way of teaching us what violence we may commit has always impressed me. It combines the best of the Jewish eye for an eye and the merciful turning of the other cheek of Jesus teachings.

      • algol2000

Your Allah likes to take blood money in lieu of the murder of an unjustly condemned man? Webs of lies and murder.

        • Muhammad Abbass

You need to put down the crack pipe lad. It is confusing you. Allah neither takes nor needs money. He permits a family to pay blood money if agreed with the victims of a murder. Unjust condemnation for murder is itself a sin you cretin and nothing to do with blood money. The blood money is for the family you moron. The family whose father or brother may have been slain. Thus the family may forego the right to avenge the murder and accept blood money instead. Then the family has no further right to revenge. It happens to be a highly civilised means of settling disputes in cases of murder and happens to have been taken advantage of by the US government when it paid blood money to the families of the men murdered by their agent Raymond Davis. The alternative was that the US agent Ray Davis was to be executed as it happens. Suit yourself, I’d have rather seen him shot myself but I am not family to his victims.
What sort of a dopey swine are you anyway to get such a wrong end of the stick that you presume blood money was for God? You need to put down the crack pipe like I said.

          • algol2000

Ok. I got that one wrong. But can’t you see what I am getting at? It is pointless arguing with a muslim, always using violence to make a point. If you die in your sins or commit murder on an ‘infidel’, you will end up in perdition. God does not excuse murder, he avenges it. No wonder all these muslim sects cannot stop killing one another. This is the way God judges murder; he sends a sword amongst them, even Mohammad did not escape. There is no need to avenge murder or to receive blood money(this cannot bring back the dead). There is every need to commit every deed of murder to the hands of God who judges rightly.

If you leave Islam , will your own family not seek to kill you?

I will advise you my friend. remove yourself from Islam while you still can. Get out of that stronghold while you still have the chance. Ask God for help. He will show you the truth. May you be enlightened.

          • Muhammad Abbass

oh and you ask what my family would do if I left Islam. Nothing as it happens since they’re not that religious. However my wife would leave me and I’d leave her if she did. The source of our harmony and ultimate trust in each other is the fact we know the other loves only Allah more than their spouse. Thats beyond your understanding so just drop it. I should add my wife is 30 years younger than me and gorgeous as well but due to our religion I have never felt more happy or comfortable in my own home. So we take our religion very seriously. As for the old chestnut that Muslims must die if they leave Islam, it does;t happen and it isn;t what you think. Just leave things that are so far beyond your understanding, it only makes you seem stupid. Surely you cannot be such a cretin as your words suggest, indeed your moderation even at this late stage suggests you’re anything but, however as it stands you seem like a cretin to me because you’re talking nonsense about something I do know very well.

          • algol2000

All that you know have been taught to you by sages. Things that can only be interpreted by sages are the work of satan. The teachings of Christ are plain and very simple to understand. Why is religion so complicated? Yes, because sages need to remain employed living off those who do the heavy lifting. It is even so in Christianity. Sages aka Pastors need to remain employed, deceiving many to part with their livelihood for dubious miracles.

Nevertheless, if you seek to know the truth, do not listen to sages, pray to God to show you the truth. Seek and ye shall find. For whosoever seeketh findeth, and whosoever knocketh, the door shall be opened.

You are to lead your wife and not the other way round.

            Peace be upon you.

          • Muhammad Abbass

Don’t be an idiot mate. I have LEARNED all that I know by careful and thorough scholarship. I have followed the same God since I realized that besides myself He is the only being I am certain even exists. I have been through various religions since spending four years in Christian seminary and after nearly fifty years I found Islam. After TEN YEARS of slowly being deprogrammed from the lifetime of lies I’d been told I found the most perfect religion imaginable. Not an easy path and as Yusuf Islam says it is a Mountain of Light. A mountain I will gladly spend the rest of my life ascending. I cannot be angry with you even though you spread lies and falsehoods, but I pity you deeply that you presume that what you have is better. I have seen both sides and much outside them too, and Christianity is just a pale and watered down version of the truth and beauty of Allah and creation.

There are NO men who can teach Islam. LOL No sages except as inspirations. Those fools who think there are men with authority or special understanding are the same ignorant twats who end up in ISIS. The ONLY source for Islams understanding is the Noble Quran which unlike any religious book before or since has been given to ALL MEN to read and understand for themselves, NO middle men permitted. We are told to not just believe, but to test everything even it says and we are told NOT to listen to men’s interpretations. Much of the Quran was mystery then and much of it is still today. We understand the parts we are meant to when history requires and that is all we need to know.

There is no need to discuss about religion or any other issue. We need to watch simply the natural disasters day after day around the globe. God
began His mission of cleansing the earth in late 1980s. What is going on
now is “sifting and sorting” of people around the world. All mysterious mishaps occurring now and then cannot be understood by us. These mishaps are part of elimination process.
In May 2015 natural disasters in China almost 100,000 houses were
destroyed. MERS is on the rise in S. Korea. All schools in the country have been closed. In Saudi Arabia the temperature rose to 50.5 degree C
but death tool is not allowed to be published.
What we cannot understand now is that poor people will make the rich people poor.! In Ebola affected counties of West Africa many factories
were closed down. In Bangkok too flooding caused closure of some MNC factories. South Africa is facing power shortage and outage.
Of course, USA is heading the list of natural disasters.
But let us not forget even for a moment that meditation is the only survival tool for very citizen of this world.

Unfortunately, The precursor to this outcome are the things mentioned above as well as mass die off of animals, animals which rely on the magnetic field for migration will become lost, life not previously seen in cooler waters will appear in them as they warm, increase of larger predatory sea life as food sources either become scarce or disappear, warming ocean temperatures globally, polar melting and the collapse of the artic Larsen C Shelf raising sea levels to unprecedented levels when melted (The crack in the shelf only grew 6 miles in 44 years and in six days this June, the crack extended another remarkable 11 1/2 miles. There are only 2 miles left before a glacier the size of Delaware in surface size and approximately 2-3 football fields in length under the water enters into the ocean).
