50 Shocking Questions That You Should Ask To Anyone That Is Not A Prepper Yet

50 Shocking Questions That You Should Ask To Anyone That Is Not A Prepper Yet - Photo by GiggyShare this list of shocking questions with everyone you know that needs to wake up.  Sometimes asking good questions is the best way to get someone that you care about to understand something.  When I attended law school, I became very familiar with something called "the Socratic method".  It is a method that has been traditionally used in law schools all over the United States.  Law professors will bombard their students with questions, and the goal is to stimulate critical thinking and allow students to discover the answers for themselves.  Many times those of us that can see what is happening to this country get frustrated when we try to get others to see what is so apparent to us.  But instead of preaching to them, perhaps asking questions would be more helpful.  When you ask someone a question, they are almost forced to think about what you just said and come up with a response.  And without a doubt, the fact that America is in decline is undeniable.  Those that would choose to blindly have faith in the system are foolish, because it is glaringly obvious that the system is failing.  Our economy is heading for collapse and the world around us is becoming more unstable with each passing day.  So it shouldn't be a surprise that the number of preppers in the United States is absolutely exploding.  Some estimates put the number of preppers in the U.S. as high as 3 million, and the movement continues to explode.

So exactly what is a "prepper"?  Well, the truth is that there is a tremendous amount of diversity among the people that fall under that label.

To me, you don't have to move to Montana and store 500 cases of MREs in a nuclear fallout shelter to be considered a prepper.  I believe that anyone that can see a very serious crisis coming and that is taking steps to prepare for that crisis would be considered a prepper.  You might be living next to one and never even know it.  Many families have converted spare rooms into food pantries or are taking survival training on the weekends.  Others have renewed their interest in gardening or have started to invest in precious metals.  As far as I am concerned, anything that you can do to become more self-sufficient and more independent of the system is a good thing, because the system is rapidly failing.

Perhaps you are reading this and you are thinking that people who are "preparing for disaster" are being rather foolish.  Well, I encourage you to read the list of questions that I have compiled below and come to your own conclusions.

The following are 50 shocking questions that you should ask to anyone that is not a prepper yet...

#1 Why are sales of physical silver coins breaking all sorts of all-time records?  The U.S. Mint is on pace to sell more silver eagles during the first month of 2013 than it did during the entire year of 2007.

#2 Why has Germany announced that it will be moving gold from New York and Paris to its own vaults back home?  Is this a sign of a breakdown in trust among global central banks?

#3 Why is China systematically hoarding gold?

#4 Why have billionaires such as George Soros and John Paulson been hoarding massive amounts of gold?

#5 Why are billionaires buying up so much ranch land up in Montana?

#6 Why is Russia warning that we are rapidly approaching a global "currency war"?

#7 Why has Barack Obama chosen this moment to launch an all-out attack on the Second Amendment?

#8 Why does Barack Obama want doctors to ask their patients questions about firearms?

#9 Why is there an incredibly severe nationwide ammunition shortage all of a sudden?

#10 Why has a bill been introduced in the U.S. House of Representatives that "would ban Internet or mail order ammunition purchases"?

#11 Why are gun control advocates such as Piers Morgan pushing for us to become more like the UK when the UK actually has a much higher violent crime rate than we do?

#12 Why was a Forbes article that made a connection between the use of psychiatric drugs and the mass shootings that we have seen in recent years almost immediately taken down from the Internet?

#13 Why does the federal government want to start putting "black boxes" in all new motor vehicles?

#14 Why are some U.S. states now using computers to predict "future crimes"?

#15 Why are "black-clad federal SWAT teams" raiding farms and ranches all over the United States?

#16 Why are we all being trained to spy on one another?

#17 Why are highly advanced facial recognition cameras being put up all over the United States?

#18 Why have police departments all over America begun to deploy unmanned surveillance drones in the skies over our cities?

#19 Why are schools all over America beginning to require students to carry IDs with RFID microchips in them wherever they go?

#20 Why are more Americans not outraged that nearly 400 TSA employees have been fired for stealing from travelers since 2003?

#21 Why are Americans not more outraged that TSA goons are manhandling the private areas of our women and our children in the name of "national security"?

#22 Why is an elderly survivor of the Nazi occupation of Austria, Kitty Werthmann, warning that America is heading down the exact same path that she experienced?

#23 If the economy is in good shape, then why are more than one out of every four U.S. workers with a 401(k) raiding those funds in order to pay current expenses?

#24 Why does the Federal Reserve continue to insist that the economy is "improving" when it obviously is not?

#25 Why can so few Americans explain how money is created in the United States?

#26 Why has the U.S. dollar declined in value by well over 95 percent since the Federal Reserve was created?

#27 Why is the U.S. national debt more than 5000 times larger than it was when the Federal Reserve was created?

#28 Why isn't the mainstream media in the U.S. discussing the fact that the U.S. dollar is in danger of losing its status as the primary reserve currency of the world?

#29 Why don't more Americans know about the quadrillion dollar derivatives bubble?

#30 Why did the U.S. national debt grow during the first four years of the Obama administration by about as much as it did from the time that George Washington took office to the time that George W. Bush took office?

#31 Why is the middle class in America bringing home a smaller share of the overall income pie than has ever been recorded before?

#32 If the U.S. economy is producing a healthy number of good jobs, then why are we spending nearly a trillion dollars a year on welfare?

#33 If the U.S. economy is not collapsing, then why has the number of Americans on food stamps grown from 17 million in the year 2000 to more than 47 million today?

#34 If America is still an economic powerhouse, then why have we lost more than 56,000 manufacturing facilities since 2001?

#35 Why are we losing half a million jobs to China every single year?

#36 Why were one out of every ten homes sold in the state of California last year purchased by Chinese citizens?

#37 Why has the percentage of men with jobs in the United States fallen so dramatically?  Back in 1950, more than 80 percent of all men in the United States had jobs.  Today, less than 65 percent of all men in the United States have jobs.

#38 Why are so many Americans poor today?  According to the U.S. Census Bureau, more than 146 million Americans are either "poor" or "low income".  Why is this happening?

#39 Why does the U.S. government have a website that teaches immigrants how to sign up for welfare programs once they arrive in the United States?

#40 Why has the number of gang members living in the United States risen by an astounding 40 percent just since 2009?

#41 Why does approximately one out of every three children in the United States live in a home without a father?  Can such a society prosper in the long run?

#42 Why are our supermarkets being flooded with genetically-modified foods when a whole host of studies have shown that they are potentially dangerous to human health?

#43 If the economy has "improved" during the Obama years, then why are hunger and poverty still absolutely skyrocketing in the United States?

#44 Why are more than a million public school students in the United States homeless?

#45 Why are more than 50 percent of all children in Detroit living in poverty?  Detroit used to be one of the greatest cities in the entire world.  How did such prosperity turn into such desolation?

#46 Why did a violent riot break out at an event where government-subsidized section 8 housing vouchers were being handed out in a suburb of Detroit earlier this month?  Is this the kind of unrest that we can expect to see all over the country when things get really bad?

#47 Why are cities all over the United States making it illegal to feed the homeless?

#48 Why is the UN trying to take control of the Internet?

#49 Why have global food supplies sunk to their lowest level in nearly 40 years?

#50 Why is global power concentrated in so few hands?  According to the Swiss Federal Institute, a network of 147 mega-corporations control 40 percent of all the wealth in the world, and in a previous article I described how just six obscenely powerful corporations completely dominate the media industry in the United States.  Is it good for such incredible power to be concentrated in the hands of so few people?

Please share this article with as many people as you can.  It only takes a few moments to share an article, but the person on the other end that reads it might have their life changed forever.

#51 Why are there no more questions? LOL

It took me a long time to come up with 50 :)

Your Answer. First a society must be broken down, disarmed, made to feel hopeless. This must continue until such desperation reigns, that anyone who offers relief, will be accepted. At this point one of two possibilities will occur. !. The rise of the Fourth Reich. 2. The Rise of the Anti-Christ. I can not predict which one, God alone knows that answer.

If an individual is massively in debt, behind in their payments and has a credit score south of 600, why bother to continue with debt payments on credit cards and other revolving debt? Why not walk away, it “aint” gonna’ get better, why raid a 401K?

    • condaggitt

Because most Americans are stupid clueless morons who have no clue how to use a computer and realize they cant touch a 401`k in bankruptcy.

  • Rodster

Germany just made a request to the FR, that they want their Gold back pronto. That’s not a good sign because that just says the Central Banks are not trusting each other. OK continue with your prepping.

    • Erik

Germany hopes to repatriate their Gold. Whether they get it back in the next 7 years is another thing. Until the banks go long PMs, its probably more noise, unless Rothschild is allowing this to go forward. Got tungsten?

    • Mondobeyondo

It won’t be just Germany. China will also ask for their pound, um, kilogram of flesh from the Federal Reserve too. Their lending has been propping up the U.S. economy. When China stops lending to us… oh boy.

      • Mark

Don’t worry Mondo, the Fed will just print all they want. Who needs China anyway. LOL

        • Ralfine

Walmart needs China. Who else will produce the goods they make their profit with?

      • Hammerstrike

This gold have probably been spent years ago.

    • Ralfine

How much American Gold is in Germany? If none, why not? No trust?

    • tomydispik

What is more chilling about this move is the countries they are recalling that gold from. To quote Zero Hedge “what has changed between November (2012) and now?”. Well, the shifting of 3500 US troops to Africa, a French invasion of Mali that started out as air support only then 3 days later turned into boots on the ground, the US and Britain backing the French in Mali, the collapse of the Central African Republic, upcoming property confiscation in the US, debt ceiling negotiations in the US, 3 of the 5 EU PIIGS unable to control their decline, Islamic threats against France for invading Mali, France having the largest Muslim population in Europe, and yes the run on the central banks (UK, US, Fr) by another central bank. Because that is what it is, a bank run at an institutional level

  • RICHARD

The government knows what is going on. They want to know who has guns, So they can come get them when the S.H.T.F. at the same time they are buying tons of armored trucks.and tons of ammo and this is ammo to kill. I have said it before on this blog and i will say it again we are the Germany after WW1 Were going to go through the same thing they did and like them it won’t end well. Time to wise up and quite messing around and get you house in order. For those who don’t remember the past are doomed to repeat it..

    • Ralfine

The government is prepping. And the suppliers make a killing.

    • tomydispik

Richard, we are not like Germany after WWI. At least not from a political perspective. Economically we are in terms of the debt, but Germany didn’t have a leader causing the crash. No, we are more like Cambodia under Pol Pot during his great purge when he evacuated the cities as a ruse to kill off political dissidents and anyone over the age of 25 outside the party.

    • Hammerstrike

They want to know how much stuff people have.

    • MeMadMax

Sometimes I wonder if oblabber gets off on making people scared. Cause yea, even the 23 executive orders that he passed are lame. I was expecting more but was disappointed… oh well…

      • YouPhonyMadMax

        You are paid troll.

        • MeMadMax

Wow, I must be damn good to cause you to make a throw away account just for me ^.^

    • Excalibur

After reading Kitty werthman’s story, it’s amazing how similar the things that Hitler did are what Obama is doing now. Why aren’t Americans outraged about the path we’re on? I suspect it is because Americans are the frog in the pot, and are clueless the pot is nearing the boiling point.

    • redhead

Oh that’s news. I thought we were pre-Nazi Germany. whewww. Shackled box cars anyone?

      • peace angel

We already have them—google FEMA concentration camp railroad cars. They were the old cattle cars and have already been converted.

  • Syrin

Think about this little paradox. FEMA runs commercials on TV and on radio telling people to “prepare”. They’re everywhere. They never say for what, but make the point that’s a good idea to be prepared.

THEN we learn that the DHS has listed people who stockpile food and water as possible terrorists. So if you listen to ONE tyrannical gov’t agency, the OTHER tyrannical gov’t agency will list you as a terrorist, and with out tyrant in Chief in office, they could invoke the NDAA and whisk you off to Gitmo for stockpiling a week’s worth of food based on THEIR advice. Great system we have, eh?

    • Ralfine

Well, just don’t tell anyone. Freedom of speech also includes freedom to remain silent.

Just BE prepared. And forget the government. Why always listen to the government? Let them be, just make sure they keep their distance or you keep your distance. In the meantime do your thing. (Make sure you don’t infringe other people’s freedom.)

And well, if you care about your community, participate locally in your local council or whatever you call it.

      • Hambone

Holy smokes. I agree with you.

Someone, please, mark this date on a calendar.

        • Mark

Hambone, Be careful. The local councils in London are just local control freaks. The councils are progressives.that love to make rules in order to control your life..They sure are not preppers

          • Ralfine

            So, you are rather anarchist?

          • http://www.facebook.com/people/Anthony-Neilsen/100001392315400 Anthony Neilsen

Wow, what an asinine comment. You really must be an imbecile.

          • Hambone

Yeah, but two out of three… with Ralfine. Come on, how long before that happens again?

Was he referring to UK? I thought he was from China.

          • Ralfine

Actually I was referring to the locally elected village representatives who decide which pothole is filled first and which school gets a new roof.

Make your mark there. Repeal all senseless local regulations.

Move on to the county level, state level. Find enough like-minded people to repeal all 50,000 pages of tax law, to replace it by 4 pages. 1 for personal income tax, 1 for company profit tax, 1 for transactions tax, 1 for property tax.

Cut down on expenses you don’t need, like drones flying over your state to watch people.

All this democratic stuff is a long term affair. But prepping is always a long-time affair.

There are two alternatives to democracy – dictatorship and anarchy (absence of a hierarchy).

            Make a choice.

    • Hammerstrike

Local Federale Departement of Loochers and Moochers:
      We want your stuff.

    • peace angel

EXACTLY—but 90% of the idiots on here have no clue what the NDAA acto is or what HAARP is or that Halliburton has built 800 concentration camps and that the ARMY has been openly and in the light of day hiring “internment” guards who are willing to imprison and steal from Americans for the greater good of the land, the sea, the animals and the masses. America is an ostrich nation and while they argue over right or left or abortion or not, or east side west side, black or white, people who are breaking this law are disappearing like snowfall. The NDAA act has deemed all our war vets to be “psychotic” and “a threat to national security” and there are hundreds of them missing and in virginia alone 20,000 civilians are missing. I know where they are and so do you, but 99% of the rest of America is clueless and will remain so.

  • Syrin

By the way, CHINA is preparing for something. They’ve imported 4 times more rice than they produce, they have a surplus of industrial metals but are still importing more and stashing it away, almost all evaporated milk in Australia has been bought out by the Chinese, AND they are reinforcing their subway system to withstand a nuclear blast. Nothing to see, move along.

    • Mondobeyondo

The Chinese are very good at playing chess.

      • http://www.facebook.com/josef.zack Josef Zack

the Chinese , like the Japanese, do NOT play “chess”. they play “Go”. a game about 100X more complicated than mere Western chess.

    • Ralfine

Nice. Do you have a source for your claim? If not, it is just a rumour.

Their subway system is less than 15 years old. Right now they are just busy to add lines and subway cars.
China has a big problem with fake products. Even rice is faked! And milk! There was a big scandal a few years back.

If China is doing something, they are just prudent. Using their surplus money (They have trillions in US$) to buy commoodities that can be stored. Rice, milk and infrastructure more valuable than gold.

Buying gold is not prepping. It’s stupid.

If you want to prep(are), you better invest in infrastructure. For yourself, that is a house.

A few years ago I had the chance to watch construction of new village houses in Hong Kong. They start with the foundation – a steel-reinforced concrete block. about 700sqft area and about 2 meters deep. The reinforcing steel almost arm-thick. No typhoon and no flood will ever move that house.

High-rise buildings must be built on pillars that are rammed deep into the underlying granite rock.
So, whenever a category 5 super-typhoon hits Hong Kong, the damage is minimal.

      • Hammerstrike

“Buying gold is not prepping. It’s stupid.”

Gold can replace deplete uranium in anti-tank ammo.

        • Ralfine

Yes, and you can use it as dead weight when fishing.

You can also poison the food of the tank driver. Or do it like the Chinese and sell them rice made of plastic chips and eggs made of rubber.

      • SciFiChick

Nice. Do YOU have a source for your claims? If not, it is just a rumor.

    • Hammerstrike

They know they have a decision to make.

They need to strike NATO hard so they can wrestle Africa from NATO control, since Africa have the ressources to support an industrialized China.
If they don´t, NATO blockades Chinese and Indian trade, unless China dishes out more loands and more investements when SHTF, while still remaining hostile.

They want control over what they produce and earned.

WHEN NIBIRU ARRIVES,EVERYTHING WILL BE VERY CLEAR,Isaiah 24:1,revelation opening of the sixth seal……………………..

  • Mondobeyondo

#51… It’s all about to fall apart very soon.
Enjoy it while you still can, because America, as you know and love it today, doesn’t have much time left.

    • Jodi

I agree, I think it’s going to get real dicey soon! Enjoy the false prosperity while you still can.

  • Mark

You can’t convince very many to prepare. A few here and there. But a few is better than none. We have been preparing for many different potential problems for a long time. Now the government wants to label us as a terrorist. The Mormons have been advised to prepare for more than 50 years by their leaders. Since the great depression they have done this. Does the government plan to take most of Utah to prison camps for being preppers. #51, I am more concerned about the 1 billion plus rounds of hollow points the government has bought or ordered.

    • Ralfine

      Don’t call it prepping.

Call it Risk Management and sell seminars to large and small corporations, and anyone who wants to listen.

Don’t worry, there aren’t many that would pay for seminars. People want to buy magic pillls.

  • FounderChurch

We need to stop killing our kids with Birth Control. With no children we are headed to the scrap heap.

    • Ralfine

What are you doing to stop killing your kids with guns?

What are you doing against hunger? Work place accidents? Infectious diseases?

Do you care so much about the living as you pretend to care for the unborn?

      • Hammerstrike

        Nice try, dumbass.

54 million abortions in 40 years for the US alone, that is a lot more than work place accidents and infectious diseases there.

        • Ralfine

Did you ever ask why abortions are so much fun for women that they want to have one?

          • Hammerstrike

Most are done out of comfort.
Soon enough, you will be a hassle just for existing too and just like the unborn, you´ll be dumped in a trash can without ceremony.

          • Hambone

Life is life, and devaluing one life makes it that much easier to devalue another.

First, it’s unborn children. Next easy target: the elderly (I understand some countries are already there with rationing health care). After that, the disabled.

I’m guessing conservatives will be on the short list.

          • Hammerstrike

Exactly, even Ayn Rand figured that one out!

Think about it, all those people for the “right” of abortion back in the 60s and 70s are retired or approching retirement age now, when SHTF they´ll outlive their usefulness…

          • Hambone

Oh yes… buyer’s remorse kicks in when it’s too late.

Like so many have said recently, you bought it — you own it.

          • FounderChurch

Democrat Snakes eat their own young, and their own parents and grandparents. They are reptiles of course.

          • Ralfine

            Try cutting welfare.
You know – to teach them a lesson.

          • FounderChurch

There should be no such thing as welfare of any type, shape or form. You give them a job, never, ever, cash for doing nothing. All the shooters in the past 39 years have been on some form of welfare, public or private. NONE had jobs.

          • Ralfine

Ok, then give them a job.

          • FounderChurch

We have millions of unfilled jobs, at least 4 full time jobs for every man woman and child in the nation. But people don’t want to work at just anything, for just anything. We need to fire 98 percent of government employees and replace them with people in need of work, and end every form of welfare, all anyone needs is a job, but not some cushy job that pay high, but a hard job that pays very low.

          • Ralfine

Do you have a source for your claim that there are lots of unfilled jobs?

Mind you, I mean jobs that make it possible for one man to feed himself, his wife, his children, pay all their medical bills and education, as well as taking care of their retired parents.

So that none of them have to rely on the taxpayer.

How many such jobs can you provide?

          • FounderChurch

WORK has been unlimited throughout human history. There are people who get in the way of workers doing the work that needs doing, but the work itself is without limit.

            We need to focus on Democrats, across the board, who do everything in their power to block workers from getting to and doing the needed work. {Fill in the blanks.}

          • Nina from Texas

What kind of jobs, and where are they? These millions of jobs? I know a number of people who would go anywhere, take any kind of job, if they could just find them. Help us out, OK, since you seem to know where they are.

          • Gun net #1

Hey @ssF¥ck … I happen to be one of those gubment employees. I manage 50 gubment employees … And I bet ALL of them work harder than you ever have. … So FOAD!!

          • FounderChurch

What in ignorant parasitical pay-roller blood sucking bureaucrat talking about work.
The entire government produces zero. Not one shirt or loaf of bread. Government produces nothing whatsoever, and what they do sort of produce, like police work, could be done twice as well, by private security firm for half the money,
Now, bad as you are, it is not your fault. It is the fault of an evil system that needs to be put out of business and replaced with privatization totally.

          • Gay Veteran

            utterly delusional

          • FounderChurch

A really dumb remark that means absolutely nothing whatsoever.

The power to “give” is also the power to “take”. I don’t support a power that decides for us what should be given and taken, i.e., government. What gov’t controls, it destroys. I will live free or die trying.

Why not expect one to procure their own job? Personal responsibility isn’t in your vernacular, is it?

          • Ralfine

            Told you, you contradict yourself.
in another post you request that children of divorced parents are put into a state home and that the taxpayer pay the cost for their upbringing.

          • FounderChurch

You lie. You must love to lie. I never said anything of the sort. I said the divorced parents should both work and pay child support to for a third party to raise the child. The idea is to make divorce so painful for BOTH parents that divorce would become rare, especially when they have children. Don’t lie and distort, just address the facts if you are able to.

          • Ralfine

You said: if the parents do not have money or are not paid enough, the tax payer shall pay the difference.

Shall I post the link here?

          • FounderChurch

Yes, because it is in all of our interest to reduce divorce to very small numbers and that is the way to do it. You make it so costly to the parents that they will forgo it. So, the final cost to the taxpayer will be very small, because divorce will be very rare. You pay some money now to save much more later. Only you would require such a long explanation, and still you will not understand for you are as far as I can tell totally evil.

          • Ralfine

I am honored to be called totally evil by you. I must be doing something right, after all.

          • peace angel

Children would rather be FROM an abusive home than in one.And how will this make divorce harder?? You know hiding behind church symbols and calling people evil and lots of other names shows you are just a troll.

          • peace angel

As a child psychologist I can tell you that what and who kids will become is determined by what they see, feel and think between the ages of 2 and 6. And you think ppl should have more babies to end up in day care, public schools, trash cans, jail, foster care and group homes. You are a moron. Make divorce harder—what are you talking about???? You are too stupid to lie. You wouldn’t know the facts, if they slapped you in the face. Stop trolling and go learn something. You still think there is a difference in democrats and republicans. There is not and they don’t run anything. They do what the Bilderburgers tell them to do and always have. WAKE up.

          • FounderChurch

No, cut it out entirely. No one should get a penny they don’t work for. What everyone in this country needs is a job, and not a job of their choice either. No living off of the working taxpayers for anyone in any way shape or form, no exceptions.

          • Ralfine

So, it is OK if we decide that you left your tax-exempt organization and build streets instead?

          • Guest

And what church is it again that “works” for money? Every church I’ve ever watched ‘guilts’ people into ‘giving’ them money. … And it’s rarely redistributed … The church employees keep it all for themselves.

          • FounderChurch

First of all, all church giving is voluntary, unlike taxes which are theft at the point of a gun shoved in your ribs.

Second, churches have a far better record of caring for the “needy” than government.

Third, it is true that most churches are burdened with employees and the Priest, Imam, Preacher and Rabbi living off of the flock he is supposed to be feeding. All salaries in churches for anyone should be cut out somehow.

          • FounderChurch

Conservatives and Believers will be on the top priority list for Democrat extermination.

          • FounderChurch

Don’t push it to ridiculous insane extremes. criminals should get the death penalty, for example. Pro Life is not the same as being anti-death. It is having children, not forcing others to have them.

          • Ralfine

If the death penalty works, why do you still have ridiculously high crime in the US?

Doesn’t the prospect of the death penalty increase the motivation to kill witnesses?

          • FounderChurch

Your problem is you parrot left wing cliches that you have not thought through and it makes a fool of you. Stop watching MSNBC for a change.

We have high crime because our punishments are too light. When you punish lightly you actually encourage crime. Punishment for wrongdoing must start young, and be invariable and harsh and relentless.

The first time you hang a child from a lamppost for stealing a bike, kids stealing bikes will drop precipitously. Punishment has to be quick, harsh and sure, for it to have any effect. None of our “Justice” is structured that way thanks to “people” like you.

          • FounderChurch

Well, when you become a victim of crime don’t go crying about it. Embrace is as a blessing, for you, and your types have literally created the crime we have in this country. Enjoy!

One thing statistics point out is the Democrats are 5 times more likely to be a victim of crime than
Republicans. This has been borne out by numerous studies.

Just take members of Congress, Democrats in Congress are many times more likely to be victims of crime than Republicans. And there exist records on this you can access. I say it is just chickens coming home to roost.

They see a couple of Democrat punks approaching them on the street and think, (with their deluded minds) these two nice young men must be discussing Shakespeare, when they are actually discussing robbing and killing YOU.

Now, a Republican would immediately assume they were going to kill him and he would take proper evasive, and defensive action. Do you get it?

          • Ralfine

            No.
            Are you on drugs?

          • peace angel

Now I get it. You are a REV Wright kind of Christian, quoting him and all. For the last time, there is no difference between democrats and republicans. No difference unless they are running for something or on tv talking to the sheeple. On youtube you can see a compilation video of Bush Sr. while addressing Congress telling them the US has to “create a new world order” a grand total of 22 times and he signed the agreement to make it so. Agenda 21 and he and Clinton buddied up and pushed this all over the world after Clinton left office. How can you not know this???? Oh, yeah, Rev. Wright ain’t preaching that.

We have more violent crime and murder in my country now then when we had the death penalty. People do things they can get away with, especially since the perception is that the punishment is not really harsh or immediate.

      • Hambone

It’s a magnitude thing. 4,000 children/day are aborted in the US alone. I could be nuts, but I think that tops the number of childhood workplace accidents we have.

I admit, a lot of kids die at my workplace each day, but I think it’s safely under 4,000.

Americans are reproducing like rabbits—and half the kids in this nation are on some kind of welfare and 17 million kids go to bed hungry every night and there are 3 million kids in foster homes or group homes and America’s foster parents are often drug addicts and pedophiles and the nation is overrun by pedophiles, rapists and murderers. And every week 30 kids are killed by parents and one the three girls and one in 12 boys will be raped before they turn 18. And hundreds of thousands of parents are on their third and fourth marriages and step fathers and boyfriends rape and torture kids. Lots of kids live in war zones where parents fight constantly and millions of kids live in the hood or barrio where the career is criminal. American kids are much safer in Heaven than they are here. Not to mention our gov. is poisoning us with pesticides, leaking nuclear power plants, GMO’s. mandatory baby shots filled with metal poisons making us number one for every mental and physical disorder or disease known to mankind. 50% of all the men in America do not have a job and that is not going to change. The gov. plan is to destroy this nation and put all it’s children into FEMA concentration camps which are already staffed and up and running. The world has a billion starving ppl and China is the only nation restricting the number of babies one can have and that should be the case in every nation. Man, I hope you are not preaching this to other people, because you are really off base here.

A prepper who is out of balance is not a wise and good prepper. Buying precious metals when the so called prepper does not have a very secured place to endure a multi year crisis event is simply buy metal someone else will own after they die.

A prepper in Montana best know about harsh long winters on the east side of the Rockies.

A prepper who has hundreds of cases of MREs is a fool to begin with. That is not balanced long term shelf life food. Besides any real prepper knows that Long Term Location occupies the top spot on the list, followed by a few different all season pure fresh safe water sources is number two. Then security is next and lots of it, followed by very long term well balanced food stores…not lousy MRE stuff.

Throw in the ability to safely raise fresh food, to safely hunt when possible, to raise livestock when it is safe to also plays into it. But those things might not be safe or prudent to pursue for some time during a dangerous crisis event. Thus the quality food stores come into play.

This all brings one back to numbers of like equipped and outfited other preppers which if they are then that makes them “like minded” a term most use and have no clear definition of. Like Minded is not about what you think as much as it is about what the heck you have accomplished. Read and weep that point….

I know many like minded wannabie preppers who think something is going to happen. Agreeing does not make for a survival operation…action with corresponding tangible well rounded results (location, supplies, numbers) do that. That takes the coin you thought you so wisely bought precious metals with. Buying silver.gold is the last thing a prepper does…not the first. First one must live long enough through said crisis to be able to safely use said coinage.

Preppers need to team up to man said few locations in a long term crisis event. Not sit at home hoping and praying or dieing along the trail thinking they are the lone wolf on the move like in the movies.

There are few well rounded, well balance preppers out there…very few. Many preppers will be found dead sitting on their mountain of guns and bullets…they ran out of water or starved to death. or froze to death Others will be found dead because they had no or to few weapons and bullets. Most will die because they failed to sacrifice and team up ahead of time with an established prepper location to fall back to in and during a crisis event.

Anything worth doing in worth doing right.

    • Ralfine

If you don’t find the time to do it right the first time, when will you find the time to correct your mistakes?

Our nearest “like minded” friends are an hour away, and while I know it would probably be in our best interest to be there rather than here…. well…THIS is my home.
It’s not perfect. We don’t have all the things they have, the money to do things they’re doing, etc…but this is mine. I belong just where I am. We’re not in a state of prep perfection, but everything we do raises our chances for surviving a nasty situation.
In a truly bad situation, I don’t think there IS prepper perfection. You prep now to increase your odds, but there is still a good measure of fate, chance, luck, or what have you involved no matter what you’ve done.
I would say though that cockiness on the part of any prepper, whether ill-prepared or well prepared, will certainly negate what one does to the positive to some degree, re-lowering a person’s odds…

      • K

HecatesMoon your progress is inspiring. But now I must tell you a thing. The time for defensive capabilities has come. Whatever they outlaw is not your main concern. It is the price of what is left, that is your main concern. Shotguns can still be had at a reasonable price. If you are in good shape on this great. If not, it is now first priority. If you need more details, post here. Do not under any circumstances post what you have. Just whether you are ready or not.

        • Ralfine

How much you earn on gun sales? You have shares in arms dealers?

          • K

I earn nothing on gun sales,I got out of the stock market 6 years ago. I know how well the criminal element is armed. Do you?

        • HecatesMoon

          Yep. I am covered. :)

          • K

Great, I hope you never need them.

          • HecatesMoon

            Me too….
On the upside, where I live, people aren’t really prepping but the way of life here kind of goes hand in hand with that for a large portion of people.
I paid a lot of attention over the summer when we drove around. I noted how many people have gardens, how many people have fruit trees– even in town fruit trees are normal here.
A lot of people hunt, and I think more people own guns than don’t.
Major crop fields– soy, wheat, corn. Cattle in pasture, sheep, goats….
            I felt comforted. :)
It would be much easier for people in this area to adjust than for people in other areas. We would no doubt see some things here too, but nothing like what would be going on in places made almost entirely of street lights and concrete. I think by the time people got out of the concrete jungle, people in areas like mine would have already started coming together….so I think we would be o.k.

          • Rancher

OK..Ever ask yourself…where does all that water come from for those gardens and fruit trees and everything else? If it is from a public utility they are screwed. If it is from a well and they do not have redundant off grid means in place for being able to get the water needed out and to where it is needed.,..they are screwed.

Bottom line… just because it appears to be working fine now…can and will it work fine in a grid down no re-supply long term crisis event

Then ask if I can see all this food growing so can the hoards of desperate people so is that place such a good location and can they defend it 24/7/365?

That is exactly what we all here prep fro and nothing less.

          • hecatesmoon

Well….yes… the people in town are certainly on municipally supplied water….
The people outside of town, some are on the city water supply and some aren’t.
I don’t know how many would have access to water without electricity though….
The visibility of my garden and animals. That I did consider! We live outside of town, down a side road, down a long driveway, but I still decided to hide my garden plot, and my goats.
My coop is behind my house, but my chickens do free range. There’s no hiding them while they roam. :

          • peace angel

The Bilderburgers have bought up all the aquifers and when they are ready to take everyone to the FEMA camps they do intend to turn off the water and crash the electric grid. And the NDAA act makes prepping against the law. So not only should you not talk about guns you have, you should not talk about prepping. Everything said on the subject goes into a FEMA databank ever since the Patriot Act was passed and there is a two hour documentary out there that can show you how that happens.

    • Rancher

Electing to stay in a poorly defend-able location when a better one exists is a true sign of immature prepping. You home will be razed and probably burnt to the ground…then what? You own squat. That is if you are still alive.

Is your materialism so deep rooted you will let it kill you and those you care for? If so…that is so typical. Safety comes from numbers and only when those numbers are well equipped and well prepped. Who is watching your 360 at 2 AM night after night. You really think the threat is going to come right after lunch when you are all rested and ready?

This ain’t cocky either. It is just time/history proven facts which have and are occurring all over the world.

      • HecatesMoon

I don’t really consider it materialism.
This is the happiest point in my adult life, and I had it here.
It’s where I dug in the dirt, sat day after day watching chickens….
        My heart is attached.

      • Ralfine

        Here is an interesting thought:
Luxemburg had a great fortress. Everybody wanted to have it. There were many wars to get it.
The wars stopped only after the fortress was razed, so nobody could have it.

        After that Luxemburg flourished.

    • peace angel

      Ummmmm—-

Prepping is against the law according to the NDAA act of 2011. If you stockpile more than 7 days of food, ammo or water this law and this government has deemed you to be a terrorist and as a terrorist they now have the right to haul you into prison or a FEMA camp and throw away the key as is happening to people all over the nation already. You need to see the videos about the gov thanking all of you who stockpile and the NDAA act reads that your “stockpile will be sacrificed for the common good in times of peace or in times of emergency.” So I wouldn’t brag about it or rat yourself out. They pretty much know who you are and what you do by seeing your home through your computer, camera or Iphone and the new smart meters for your electricity will do the same thing. And drones with cameras that look through walls and into your windows are popping up all over the country too, They know who and where the stockpilers are and are already rounding them up.

These facts speak for themselves. However, I’m having a difficult time reconciling facts like these with what I see in my area. A lot of homes are being built, though I wonder if there is really that much demand for housing considering all the existing homes for sale in this area.
People are out buying and selling, eating in restaurants, buying new cars, etc.

I guess I got ahead of myself in that I started talking about the collapse over ten years ago. I really thought what began in 2008 was “it”, and that was certainly part of it, but I marvel at how they have been able to prevent something more cataclysmic. I guess it’s just a matter of time. Sigh.

    • Mark

Jodi, you forget that the banksters control the printing press. As long as the public in general is willing to exchange fiat paper for goods this can go on for a long time. You and I see that this fiat game is fake wealth, but most hide their heads in the sand and as long as their heads stay in the sand all is well. Be worried when most of the public starts to take a look around and panics.

    Hi Mike,

Many thanks for your insight and articles. I find it rather educational. I only have one question for you, have you ever seen it get so bad in America as it is now? Thanks,
    Arjun

    • MichaelfromTheEconomicCollapse

      Arjun:

Things are about as bad for poor people as they have been in the past 20 or 30 years, but there have been times when things have been worse in America.

But keep in mind that this is just the beginning. By the end, we will witness the worst times that America has ever experienced by far.

      Michael

      • Arjun

Yes I agree with that assessment, you can almost instinctively feel it. I think when the petro dollar collapses it will mark the end of the fiat currency system that has plagued this world. Of course like you say there will be unthinkable suffering. Thanks for your hard and good work with the articles. Hope people take them seriously.

I seen the way things were heading in the late 90′s. So in 2004 it seem like it was going to get much worse. So one thing I did was started a private store for my kids familys and I. I started buying a few extra things that would store well and were on sale. I let the family go in and take what they needed anytime they wanted but the hat to replace it plus a few extra idems. So I would move the older stuff forword and the new stuff went to the back It’s worked very well. Now were to the point we just replace whats taken out. I havn’t figured it out but there must be enough food for at least two years easy. The nice thing is you never run out of anything. Its worked very well–just something to think about.

No, preppers are not alarmists. They’re realists. Like Gerald Celente, Alex Jones, Dr. Paul Craig Roberts, Michael T. Why republicans suck way more than dems (who also suck)

Republicans never place a high-priority on spending and the national debt until there is a Democrat in the White House that has been a regular occurrence dating back to the Reagan era. The priority for the last two Democratic presidents has been cleaning up the fiscal mess left by their Republican predecessors, and invariably, Republicans complicate matters by threatening to shut down the government to confound the Democratic president’s clean-up efforts and punish the people for electing a Democrat in the first place.

This Republican Party is not serious about anything that does not ravage Medicare, Social Security, and safety nets while protecting bloated defense spending and corporate entitlements. Their highest priority, by their own admission, is crashing the economy and shutting down the government to punish the American people for re-electing President Obama and show their constituents they are fighting the President

This is for FounderChurch and others who think birth control, abortion, and not enough people are what ails us. Just look around the world at countries where birth control and abortions are banned and you will find it occurs in the Middle East and anywhere the Muslims are a majority, India, and south of the U.S. Border. These are the areas with the most unrest, the poorest people, not enough food or jobs, and a surplus of labor for the lowest wages. Is this what you want for America?

First of all what China does is none of your business. Our business is our country, and the reason we record a very very modest increase each year is that we needlessly import millions each year, half of them illegal and THEY reproduce higher than we do. Our own native American stock of Whites, are breeding at half of replacement rates, around 1.2 children average per woman. And our best and brightest of ALL ethnicities have the same low suicidal birth rate. Only the scum at the bottom are reproducing higher and they are all on some form of welfare.

    • Ralfine

Well, NATIVE American are not “white”, are they? The caucasians are just immigrants as the Afro-Americans, Chinese, Mexicans, right? You know, who is most complaining about new immigrants, the recent immigrants.

If you paid higher wages to the “scum”, then they could afford a better education?

Those higher educated usually have less children, unless the education is short enough and there are enough jobs available for the women to be financially secure before menopause.

Why are there too few of jobs in rural areas / Because the taxpayer’s money is being spent trying to stimulate jobs in Urban areas. Why are they doing that? Because that’s where the masses reside. How come the masses reside there? Because rural dwellers just pack it in and move to the cities when they can’t get a rural job. So I ask, do you need a PHD to see part of the solution? Buy local, stop asking Government to throw taxpayer $ at every economic reality. And stop thinking the grass is always greener on the other side. We as human beings don’t have the luxury of pretending that our lives will improve by motivating someone else to “fix it” The grass is greener when you take care of it. People who don’t know how to take care of it are always eyeballing the grass on the other side. It reflects a harsher criticism of those who are running away than those who work to improve where they are.

The NDAA act makes stockpiling against the law and if you stockpile you will be labeled a terrorist and the government already has a plan to redistribute your piles when the SHTF—–stockpiling more than 7 days of food is against the law and stockpiling ammo or water is against the law and stockpiling anything is against the law and wal-mart is sending lists to homeland security of all those who shop there and this is why they want to disarm us. And those ppl on “doomsday preppers” may as well just send their stuff to the gov. because the show has all their addresses and phone numbers and one hack job and they have it. There is a video thanking ppl from the gov. for stockpiling food, water and ammo for them to round up.Just the facts, mack.

Those are not very valuable questions to ask someone who doesn’t believe the government is evil.
Those questions could have bi-poler answers.
Good questions exposing the government as evil are:
    1. Why wouldn’t they start creating more energy from free sources as (The Sun, Ocean waves, Wind) but only a bit so they close your eyes. Because they want to sell their oil.

    2. Why wouldn’t they expand the water engines in cars? Because they want to sale their oil.

    3. Why don’t they investigate further or answer questions related to 9.11? Why did they confiscate every surveillance cameras that had view to pentagon’s “plane” attack? What are they hiding? Those who ask have been ignored or taken out, some even been killed.

Think again if the government cares about you at all.
