Bird Flu Has Already Killed More Than 20 MILLION Turkeys And Chickens In The United States

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

Chick - Public DomainAre you prepared to go without turkey this Thanksgiving?  Yes, it might actually get that bad.  So far, the worst outbreak of bird flu in U.S. history has claimed the lives of more than 20 million turkeys and chickens, and the pandemic continues to rage wildly out of control.  Once one bird becomes infected, this particular strain of the virus is so virulent that it can virtually wipe out an entire flock in just a matter of days.  At this point, scientists think that this virus is being spread by wild birds, but they have no idea how it is getting inside barns and other enclosed facilities so easily.  Considering how important turkey, chicken and eggs are to our food supply, it is quite alarming that scientists don’t really understand what is going on.  If this bird flu outbreak is not brought under control, how many birds will eventually die?  Right now, it is already in the tens of millions.  Could the total eventually reach into the hundreds of millions?

Minnesota is the top producer of turkeys in the United States, and Iowa is the top producer of eggs, and that is why it is so alarming that both of these states are right at the heart of this current outbreak

Virulent H5 avian influenza strains have spread to 14 states in five months and affected about 24 million birds so far, mostly egg-laying hens and turkeys, according to USDA.

That tally is expected to grow, as U.S. authorities confirm pending cases. The outbreak, which is also affecting two Canadian provinces, shows little sign of slowing.

In Minnesota, the largest producer of U.S. turkeys, state officials said almost 5.5 million turkeys and egg-laying chickens have either died from the flu virus or are set to be killed in an effort to contain the outbreak.

In Iowa, the top U.S. egg producer, state agriculture officials said an estimated 20 million chickens and turkeys have been affected there.

So just in those two states alone, we are talking about more than 25 million chickens and turkeys that are already dead or that are scheduled to be killed in an attempt to slow down this outbreak.

Things have already gotten so bad that some in the industry are already projecting that this may cause a shortage of turkeys at Thanksgiving

And now, with Thanksgiving just seven months away, farmers say they may be running out of time to raise enough turkeys -the traditional centerpiece of holiday feasts – to meet the demand.

Once a farm has been infected, flocks must be culled, composted in barns, then disposed of. Buildings must then be thoroughly disinfected. The whole process can take up to three months before a new flock of turkey poults can be brought in, said Steve Olson, executive director of the Minnesota Turkey Growers Association.

Of course any notion of “recovery” assumes that this outbreak will be shortly brought under control and that breeder farms are not being infected.  But we have already had reports that some breeder farms in Minnesota have been infected.

Last year, the United States produced 240 million turkeys.  Almost 20 percent of them came from Minnesota.  So this outbreak in Minnesota is a really, really big deal.

And if you like to eat eggs, you should expect to start to pay more for them as well.  As of now, this pandemic has already wiped out 6 percent of all “layer hens” in this country

Egg producers have been hit hardest. In 2014, 362 million “layer” hens in the U.S. produced 100 billion eggs. With more than 20 million hens now in the process of being culled, nearly 6 percent of the nation’s population has been taken offline.

Even if this pandemic ends very quickly, and that is a huge if, the economic impact would still be huge.  Food producers in the affected states are already starting to lay off workers, and prices for meat and eggs are already starting to rise.

However, what happens if this pandemic cannot be brought under control any time soon and we lose 20, 30 or 40 percent of our turkeys and chickens?

I am recommending that people consider stocking up on canned and frozen meat while they still can.  Prices on those items are certainly not going to be going anywhere but up for the foreseeable future.  And if you can afford it, a second freezer is often a good idea for many families.

The truly frightening thing is that this bird flu pandemic is coming at a time when the U.S. food supply is already under an unprecedented assault.  Just consider some of the things that are currently happening

-More than 40 percent of our fresh produce comes from the state of California, but thanks to the worst multi-year drought in the history of the state much of the region is turning back into a desert.

-Also due to the persistent drought, the size of the U.S. cattle herd is now as small as it was during the 1950s, and the price of beef has doubled since the last recession.

-Over the past few years, something called “porcine epidemic diarrhea” has wiped out approximately 10 percent of the entire pig population in the United States.

-Just off the west coast of the United States, a wide variety of sea creatures are dying in unprecedented numbers.  For example, the sardine population along the west coast has dropped by a staggering 91 percent just since 2007.

-Down in Florida, citrus greening disease is absolutely crushing the citrus industry.  Crops just keep on getting smaller year after year.

-There is a disease known as the TR4 fungus that is devastating banana production worldwide.  In fact, it has been reported that this fungus could someday completely wipe out the variety of bananas that we commonly eat today.

Are you starting to understand?

Just because we have always been able to rely on massive quantities of extremely inexpensive food does not mean that it will always be that way.

At this point, scientists tell us that the strain of the bird flu that is hitting chickens and turkeys poses “little risk” to humans.  But it does pose a tremendous risk to our food supply – especially if our scientists can’t figure out a way to bring this outbreak under control.

So why is all of this happening?  Please feel free to tell us what you think by posting a comment below…

  • FortuneSeek3rz

The most pressing risk that is posed to humans is the influenza virus. But our collective ingenuity isn’t given nearly enough credit, and I’m confident we will weather all the doomsday scenarios since we have in much earlier times when our level of understanding was much more miniscule than now.

We’ve made some mistakes, but overall the longevity trend in the United States is a positive. It will get better from here.

This is the Pale Horseman’s work. He was released in 2012. The second half of the Tribulation begins in September when the Shemitah year ends.

    • watchmannonthewall

This seems rather unlikely. First, the altar has to be rebuilt and in use for both the evening and morning sacrifices on Temple Mount in Jerusalem per Daniel (8:11-14, and 9:27), Jesus (Mt 24:15-21), and Paul (2 Thess 2:3-4) BEFORE the Tribulation can begin. Three witnesses!
Second, Jesus pretty clearly indicated it will occur at the approximate changing of winter to spring, which would be around Passover meaning during March/April in Mt 24:20.
Third, the Jewish sages and rabbis have historically taught their Messish comes at Passover, not realizing that He did indeed come at that time but as a suffering servant, Messiah ben Joseph, when they were expecting Him to come as Messiah ben David. The second coming is when He comes as Messiah ben David, a Man of War!
Their false messiah will come at Passover and they will accept him as Jesus prophesied this fact before His death and ressurection saying, “I have come in My Father’s name, and you do not receive Me; if another shall come in his own name, you WILL receive him.” (Jn 5:43)
Unfortunately, many Christians will also receive the false messiah as Jesus returning because they do not understand scripture and do not understand the false messiah comes AFTER the wars to institute a false peace but persecutes the True body of Messiah for 3.5 years, i.e., the Great Tribulation. (Daniel 12:1, and Mt 24:6-8, which are parallel passages to Daniel 8:13 & 11:33-35) Scripture teaches there must be at least two witnesses to establish a fact!
All these passages in Mt 24:29-31, Daniel 8:10-14, and 11:33-35 support there is no rapture or “gathering” of Jesus’ people until AFTER the Tribulation is over (Mt 24:31, see also Deuteronomy 30:3-4 and Isaiah 27:12-13). We are preparing to go through it! Hope you are also! Righteousness is the key, after the blood of Jesus!

Most of Revelation has been fulfilled.
The great tribulation has come and gone.

          • GSOB

            Have your baby

        • watchmannonthewall

This also seems rather unlikely as the books of Revelation, 1, 2, 3, John, Jude and the Gospel of John were not written until at least 10 years AFTER the destruction of Jerusalem. I believe you and I had this discussion about the Tribulation previously where it was stated the Tribultation was the destruction of Jerusalem by the Romans. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Revelation and the Gospel of John are both dated as being written approximately 90 AD.
It would seem rather foolish for God to have given John the vision of the events of Revelation, the Great Tribultaion, 20 years after the events had already taken place, wouldn’t it?
One might research the historical development of the doctrine of Preterism and compare it to the body of Scripture, especially in light of the NT Scriptures chronological development to determine the falsehood of its doctrine.
Most Christians are completly unaware many of Paul’s epistles to the churches, not the pastoral letters, were completed before ANY of the gospels were even written. Chronology is important to proper doctrinal interpretation of the NT, and even of the OT!

          • GSOB

Revelation was penned by John around AD 63 / 64. He foretold the coming destruction, which happened in AD 70.
That great tribulation was Christ coming in judgment against that generation and the doing away, once and for all, the old testament economy and ushering the new.
            1. Interpret the bible with the bible and not with commentary’s or someones misunderstood opinions. 2. There is also the historical evidence and 3. also the writings from secular, jewish historians.
I don’t understand why dispensationalist like yourself opt for certainty of AD 90 writing of the Revelation when it is so clear, if you utilize proper hermenutics, you couldn’t draw that conclusion. It’s just sensationalized error and there is lots of money made from it.
I understand preterist also, but agree with them more than the dispensationalism you and much of today’s believers erroneously teach.
You are foolish to have bought into the lie that it was written after AD 70. So foolish… as to even promote it as part of your message. Yet, you say that chronology is important while talking from both sides of your.
I ask you to provide me just one, just one now,…piece of internal biblical evidence that would suggest that The Revelation of Jesus Christ was written in AD 90, as you believe. Go ahead,
            Make my day.

          • T.

Excellent point about the “Date” of writings by the various N.T. writers of the books therein. This is a main point I make as to 2 Thes. 2:3 – Where two things must happen 1.) “except there come a falling away first” (the church) and 2.)”that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition” – “Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come,” before those two things occur.
2 Thes was written approx. A.D. 51-52 and neither of these two events had occurred by A.D. 70 when Jerusalem fell. Further, I have found Luke 21 to give the best and clearest timeline for future events as they relate to First the destruction of Jerusalem, verses 6, and 20 – 24.
Then you go to verses 8 – 11, and these are Events that begin to take place in the very early 20th century (1900’s) until now.
Then verses 12 -19, refer to Events that Christians encounter from the resurrection of Jesus until He returns, Because vs.12 opens with “But before all these,” so therefore the extrapolation.
Then verses 29 – 30, the Lord tells us the appearance of the “Season” as the end time draws nearer with the “Still Born” birth of the nation of Israel in 1948.
Lastly doctor Luke gives us the very end of the church age in verses 25 -28 and 34 – 36. In vs. 34,35 – We are told “that day” (Tribulation) shall come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth and that Christians are to take heed to themselves that that day does not come upon us unawares. God bless.

          • watchmannonthewall

Just want to say I agree with what you’ve stated. A very good and accurate analysis of the passage. As to verse 8, this is the actual “church age” we are living in. Doctrine has changed dramatically since the 1970’s. Even within my own parents/siblings. Unbelievable!
I dislike using the term “church age” as I completely disagree with any Biblical connection to dispensational doctrine, however, we are truely witnessing the falling away of many who are chasing after those who say, “Follow me as I follow Jesus” but who really follow “another Jesus”. We, thankfully, are not asleep in the night so that day will take us as a thief. (1 Thess. 5:4) Blessings!

    • grumpyhillbilly

Livestock warehouses have been a disaster waiting to happen. Having said that, they are ripe for a little experiment or two. Years ago a unheard of foot and mouth strain hit a British dairy herd. Seems it came out of a nearby lab. Mad cow disease never made much sense. Sheep brains galore in dairy feed? Yeah….it’s called bull manure. This bird flu is upside down from migratory bird flight. Only good news is backyard flocks are so far showing resistance. It’s called sunlight and natural creation of vitamin d. However I suspect they will be slaughtered as a preemptive measure.

      • nick

I pay double the price for free range eggs and try to get out to local farmers for meat. The free range eggs have orange yokes and a full taste. The eggs from chickens which are caged and cannot move are yellow and almost flavorless. Same thing with the meat. The animals are sick from a young age, raised to grow unnaturally fast, and live in deplorable conditions….but we still buy the stuff.

Well most of you will not believe this. I believe at least some of these illnesses have been either altered or purposely spread. The swine illness unheard of in this Country before last year. While avian flu is not uncommon, not having it under control by now, is uncommon. Just last week dog to human spread of plague, very unheard of. All just coincidences? How many first time ever, or worse than ever before. Can you have, before you question the statistical likelihood?

    • kfilly

I agree with you. Just like the California water crisis exacerbated by the protection of an invasive fish species. Yep, got to protect all those tiny fish at the expense of people. Also, we cannot build any desalination plants to help produce water. All of these things do not speak of accident or freak event. Oh well, the Stalanist plan of starving the people is advancing according to schedule.

      • jsmith

Yes indeed, that’s correct in that our government has turned pinko socialist and non-productive, but like any government agency they need to grow at our expense. Example: The government wants more illegal aliens, excuse me dearly, I meant “undocumented persons”, so that we will need more people employed by the same government to process the undocumented persons. This is the ideal road to 1984 and serfdom.

    • Priszilla

Plague was always carried by fleas.

      • Orange Jean

Not exactly. Plague is spread by fleas (but yes they have to be infected to do so) but there are many other susceptible species which are the “reservoir of infection” for the bacteria (Yersinia pestis). The reservoir of infection includes but is not limited to rats, many other rodents such as squirrels, prairie dogs, dogs, coyotes, cats (including mountain lions) etc.

Plague maintains itself in the wild (look up sylvatic plague) because some animals can get it but rarely get sick from it or not sick enough to die… while other animals die off in large numbers, like humans do.

Plague is also endemic in most of the western US, since we have wildlife that can get it including both those which get sick and die and those who show little or no symptoms.

      • K

In this case they believe the dog directly infected the humans with pneumonic plague. They also believe there was one human to human infection. This is pretty rare.

Eighty percent of annual antibiotic use in America — 30 million pounds — is used to fatten up meat animals, including chickens. Seems to me this and its consequences are a far larger systemic threat than episodic bird flu.

What do they really know!? They are the dumbest people alive; and yet, they’re in charge with tenure and prestige? Their best achievements linked to how well they work a cocktail party!

How about this: the chicks were already infected at the hatchery. Many of these farms buy chicks from hatcheries and they were already exposed to the virus either in the shipping area or the delivery trucks (most likely the second one). I doubt we will be forced to stop eating meat. More like meat will become so scarce it becomes too expensive. Of course, they may be genetically modified so they do not procreate and you can only get the disease resistant chicks from Monsanto. But this is the world we live in. If you believe in statistical methodology and probabilities, then you will understand the immense inormity of all of the devastation taking place across the globe, and just how unlikely the occurrences together at roughly the same point in time are. And if you read your bible, you will see this is all spoken about. No dates are give in the Book, yet all of the signs are given, drought, pestilence, famine, disease, war, earthquakes, … These things have been occurring at exponential pace these last few years. It’s highly unlikely these are just coincidence. Please get your souls right with Christ, we are in the End Times, and it won’t be getting better for quite some time. And for those who discount Christ, it will get a whole lot worse for a whole lot longer. Be Blessed, and prepare now!

It’s funny how the people who know exactly where their soul is going to go when they die are the very same ones who are most afraid to die. My faith in God’s omnipotent love is unwavering. We are all saved! We are all equally loved in the eyes of our omnipotent loving God no matter what! You no longer have to buy your absolution from the church! We are all forgiven! If you don’t believe this is true then my faith in our omnipotent loving God is stronger than yours. Don’t worry, it’s okay, you will be forgiven.

      • algol2000

We are not all saved. We are equally loved, but we shall be judged according to the level of obedience. Not every one that proclaims christ shall enter heaven. Remember the parable of the Son’s marriage. Only the righteous shall enter heaven.

God will not forgive unrighteousness, unless it is repented of. God will make no exemptions under his laws for wrongdoers. Repent and forsake unrighteous ways, for the day of atonement is at hand.

It comes directly from the mouth of our LORD, our Savior Jesus Christ. You do make valid points, God does love each of us equally, and hence has given us all the same opportunity to accept His Grace, free will. We will be praying that you choose wisely.

          • Rick

What you are pointing out is that God hates sin, and in the Proverbs verses, certain behaviors. Long before we make the choice to sin, and devolope these behaviors, God loved us. In fact in Romans 5:8 Paul states that even while we were sinners God love us enough to send Christ as our Salvation. Esau made certain choices that were wrong, so did Abel, so do all of us, yet God is loving and merciful and gives us The Way out. We only need to humbly accept it. It’s our choice, it’s always been our choice, He gives us free will, and He wants none to parish, that’s our doing, our choice as well. God Bless you!

Only those who answer the call of the Holy Spirit to repent, and put all your hope, faith, trust in Jesus Christ and what He did, will be saved. All the laid off mexicans will start stealing anything not nailed down, now. They’re imported to work the chicken & egg farms. while ordinances have been passed to outlaw a small flock in your backyard.

I think the Federal Reserve is more responsible for our poverty than immigrants. The bankers contracted the money supply 31% between 1929 and 1933 causing unbelievable amounts of human suffering. If the Federal Reserve wants to keep us in poverty then I think the government should print its own interest free legal tender just like Lincoln did. So we will all have all the money we need for buying products and services. Greed is a powerful motivator. We need to re-energize the American worker. Until the American people ask for more they will never get it.

      • Nemnor

The Mexicans being imported to work the chicken and egg farms for a VERY LOW WAGE, and the activities of the Federal Reserve as they try to “fix” this “sick’ economic system, are all reactions and symptoms of the DECADENT and decaying Capitalist system in the USA and the rest of the World.

Until the American people become aware that – Capitalism itself – is the MAIN issue facing the USA and the rest of the world, ALL efforts to save the USA and the World from sinking into total socioeconomic collapse/chaos will be in VAIN.

        • Scottsman

And so you are an advocate for what then ? Some wonderful Marxist, Communist system that has brought so much prosperity and joy the world ?

          • Mike Smithy

Don’t waste your effort on Nenmor. He/she confuses fascism with capitalism and will not define “Decadent” nor render any insight on a better economic system.

I doubt the Bird Flu reasoning. My take is this is propaganda simply to DESTROY the food supply. Killing off humanity one manufactured crisis at a time… Well played dear globalists. Well played…

    If it were planned . . .
Then I would plan it around a semi-microscopic bug that proliferates eggs every 3 weeks or so. I would plant the bird flu virus in the parasite. Then I would transport it through wild birds interacting with chickens when they get their feed. That is if the chickens ever see the light of day. Or it could be though mice carrying the tick that gets through to the chicken. Mostly ticks do not penetrate a chicken due to the feathers. But it would only take one.
No one would ever see the tick until it is too late!
I suggest the entire world is in jeopardy. One of the great catastrophes throughout history is famine.
We do have an enormous food supply backup in canned foods.
If I were aiming at killing off the human race famine would be one of my tools to do so.

The elite are filling their freezers with these “sick” birds in their safety sanctuaries where the are going to hide from the angry masses!

The growth of large scale industrial farming is ideal for the spread of disease. The overuse and preemptive use of antibiotics resulting in their reduced effectiveness makes the spread of disease even more likely. In one operation south of me there are over 5000 pigs and this isn’t a particularly large one. It’s impossible to prevent the spread of disease and probably the evolution/mutation of new strains of disease in such an unnatural environment.

There has been enough notification provided to mankind by those who think the majority of us are a pestilence on the earth that they want change . Our services , food , and water enable us to sustain a sizable population globally but these folk’s intend to change that .
They having generationally been provided an environment where there is a shortage of nothing but power , have simply figured out the rest of us must go .
Predictions , projections , various elitist white papers , etc..
have championed the need to cull the population of human being to below a billion worldwide . The reasoning is varied but does appeal to the idea of let me control the plantation with a manageable amount of ignorant workers and we’ll make this a show place as only they are truly capable of appreciating and enjoying the scenery of course .
Years of merging , coopting , and centralizing have now given these arrogant bastards and their dupes control over food ,water , health , and energy to the point that if the plug is pulled , adios to many .

Another food-related event to craft a deficit – just another Jenga-shaped block in the tottering tower of our current global reality; one step closer to Catabolic Collapse.

    Gonna miss turkey, tho…

  • piccadillybabe

Scaling down those big corporate run farms would be a step in the right direction. When a virus strikes those huge operations, look at the devastation and loss. The animals are packed in like sardines in a very unnatural environment, no room to roam, given antibiotics and vaccines so they are stressed to the max both physically and emotionally. No small wonder their immune systems are compromised. It’s heart breaking to see how these poor animals live and die for the sake of feeding the largely obese American public that throw away over 50% of the food purchased.

  • SunnyFlaSnotress

There’s always Soy.. I’m sure they can find a way to make Turkey with it.. Kidding! (sort of)

  • Alleged Comment

Animals need sunlight. Not enough sunlight. Sunlight will solve the problem. Simple fix, no antibiotic needed.

Chickens and turkeys need to “scratch”, not close the door and “latch”.

HEY maybe we could have a CHEMTRAIL DAY,then we could celebrate the death of everything on GODS used to be green earth,WE’LL have big celebrations for the chemical companies who created the poison thats KILLING all the birds,(wild ones too)and then we could celebrate the PILOTS who have been spraying america with VIRUS AND DESASES,and give them a HERO’S welcome, like we do the police gangs after they throw fire bombs through a childs bedroom window, and burns them alive in their bed, america is missing out on a chance for another national holiday,we would get holiday pay, AND NEVER HAVE TO WORK…..

  • Sean Stout

I think most of these 25 million deaths are not from the flu itself, but from being slaughtered by the FDA. If one bird tests positive, the whole flock is slaughtered. I’m not sure why they don’t just let these flocks get the flu as most likely most birds will survive it. If they are all locked up in barns and can’t escape, why not just let them get the flu?
It mentioned too how they don’t know how they caught it since wild birds aren’t flying around inside these chicken farms. Also, I don’t see any dead wild birds out in the open either, but I should since it’s supposedly an epidemic. Some stuff isn’t adding up.

    • Tom

I agree, Sean, something isn’t right. I have about a dozen chickens I let roam my yard (about 6 acres). The other day I read that birds in 14 states were infected. I searched for a good hour before I could find those 14 states, and then I could not find any info on the impact of backyard flocks or even anything on precautions. You would think that info would be readily available especially since homestead and backyard flocks are not regulated like the major poultry farms are.

      • Sean Stout

Exactly. And if this bird flu is so deady and all these wild birds have it, you would think you’d see some dead wild birds on your 6 acres. Like I said, I have been out and about in the countryside and haven’t seen birds dead on the ground. If it’s such an epidemic, there should be dead wild birds in people’s yards.

  • chucky beston

I thought that Silver colloid killed everything. Put that in their drinking water until the epidemic is over.

  • Richard O. Mann

More signs pointing to the end of this age. It’s going to get very bad. So bad that you really cannot understand it, unless you have lived through a time when there was little food, and times were hard for you no matter what you did. Many in America these days have not lived through something like that since the great depression of the 1930s. And that which is coming at us this time, will make the great depression look like a pic nick.

The best known homeopathic remedy for the flu in humans is Oscillococcinum, made from the liver and heart of a duck. Ducks and other wild birds in places like China are thought to be reservoirs of all flu viruses that affect humans and birds. Viruses can sometimes spread from ducks to chickens, and occasionally to humans, causing the notorious “avian” or “bird flu”, H5N1, that still threatens the world. Most likely this remedy, or other homeopathic flu remedies would cure chickens and turkeys as easily as it does humans. Oscillococcinum is available in most pharmacies for only a few dollars.

    Jonathan “Con” you mean?

Hey, I thought I was the only one who knew that he was a “con” man. There are a few “wise as serpents” out there. Most, sadly are simply “harmless as doves”.

I don’t endorse Cahn’s Judaism, or Mormonism, Islam, etc, or any religion I don’t agree with. Cities in the O.T. were judged like Sodom and G. His speech was right on- I do not endorse Glenn Beck either, but I can agree w.some of his points. Cahn said what some Baptist preachers would say and agree with in that speech. At lease he was man enough to speak out on this subject which many so called mainline cowardly preachers today refuse to .

  • Gary-alaska

You have to remember that most , if not all of these birds are using GMO grains, other chemicals. It should be investigated to see if all of this doesn’t disrupt their horomal system and weaken their immunity system–this has human inplacations

Mike’s board whined about the cost of this past Thanksgiving and now it looks like God is giving Mike something he can REALLY whine about for next Thanksgiving.

  • Jason Bush

The better solution is to just go vegan. It saves the wasted water and pollution from the animal waste. It would also limit the number of antibiotic resistant infections by cutting down the number antibiotics we consume though the meat.

  • christ2

The upside of all this is people will get healthy since they won’t have access to arterial blocking & arterial inflammatory foods, the last time this happened was when in ww2 when the germans occuppied Norway, the Norwegians ate a plant based diet and the mortality from circulatory diseases dropped dramatically.

  • Just a thinker.

Ok most everyone on the planet, if on you could all hear these wrds and agree in your minds – until all this is sorted out – 1) stop having more babies for the time being – 2) and also let’s all keep praying this ultra simply prayer “Please Jesus come soon, even if it is not your Father’s will, but it is in your heart to put an end to wild random and chaotic suffering of so many billions of people; especially the poor and already disadvantaged people, good and bad, who would surely be feeling the brunt of the chaos first. Jesus, do you not have second thoughts about what has been written in Revelations? I mean, it just does seem to make good sense; to cause the suffering of innocent children, and to also hold it against so many adults for just being human. We are mostly products of our environment, and everyone’s environment is different in so many ways – so it all can’t be sorted out properly – so consider having maximum mercy. Perhaps just save us all/everyone – all 81 billion who have every existed, since heaven is boundless, and create prisons for the obviously bad people around the perimeter of heaven, with maximum 1000 year sentences and 100 years of parole. The prisoners in heaven shouldn’t be mistreated either, just serving time with the punishment of just having limited freedom. Maybe heaven should be a gradient, and the best aspects of heaven should be only be available to those who deserve it the most. Free heavenly long distance friends and family calling plans perhaps should be provide to everyone though if such would be the extent of your will and your Father’s, the obvious Heavenly King’s will. But is is simply better to save everyone than to potential misjudge or to too harsh judge billions of common/average people. Come to think of it, just save everyone, and let everyone around judge individual people in real-time on how they act in heaven; that would be the easiest solution. Just let people live out a comfortable full human lifespan on Earth; let them experience heaven, then mostly just them in real-time while they are in heaven, and temporarily punish anyone that intentionally hurts another. “

How many chickens do Americans eat every day? Millions.
How many chickens are born every day? Millions.
How many chickens are slaughtered for meat every day? Millions.
How many chickens are dead from Bird-Flu today? 20 million?
    So what.
The chicken conveyer belt will keep on turning 24-7-365
They will replace those birds in 24hours once the Flu has been eradicated. Play Ball!

  • Small Flockers

Exhaust fans in CAFO chicken factories blow Bird Flu virus at least 10 miles downwind, but nobody puts HEPA filters on inlet air nor exhaust. Quarantine areas are set at 5 or 10 miles around infected farms, yet flies carry Bird Flu, and have a range up to 20 miles, and are 80 times more prevalent around CAFO chicken factories. Screens to keep out wild birds and flies on all CAFO chicken factories are non-existent or full of holes. Manure management and dead stock control is poorly managed

Until we learn from these latent, chronic defects in CAFO chicken farming, Bird Flu (HPAI) will not be going away.

This makes me thankful for my little backyard flock and ready supply of eggs. I sincerely hope my flock stays healthy. I think I’d also better get dead serious about gardening, although I generally suck at it – and until recently, I could buy produce cheaper than I could grow it myself.

This epidemic is much bigger than the public will ever know. This all started right after Thanksgiving when people were getting sick with flu like symptoms; which wasn’t the flu it was due to what was going on with the turkeys. People who handled turkeys “raw”, were the ones who came in contact with this ” unknown virus”-contamination. More women were affected than men and this spread across the country. When officials found out that the turkeys may be contaminated with something; that’s when they came out with a statement blaming the “flu vaccine.
The public is in the dark pertaining to the truth behind this epidemic. It’s time the truth be told! How do I know about this? I worked with a group researching this problem.
