Donald Trump Warns Americans To Get Out Of The Stock Market As The Dow Falls For A 7th Day In A Row

Donald Trump - VOA Public DomainOne thing that you have to appreciate about Donald Trump is that unlike most politicians, he actually says what is on his mind.  On Tuesday, Trump told Fox Business that he had already gotten out of the stock market, and that he foresees “very scary scenarios” ahead for investors.  And of course things have already started to get a bit ominous for those holding stocks over the last week and a half.  The Dow Jones Industrial Average has now closed down for seven days in a row, and that is the longest losing streak that we have seen since the panic of last August.  Over the past 12 months we have seen virtually every other major global stock market experience at least one major crash.  Could the U.S. markets be next?

What Trump told Fox Business earlier today was actually right on the money.  Our financial markets have been artificially inflated by the Federal Reserve, and all artificial bubbles of this nature eventually burst.  The following comes from a Bloomberg article that was posted on Tuesday entitled “Trump Urges Exit From Market Boosted by ‘Artificially Low’ Rates“…

Donald Trump on Tuesday said interest rates set by the Federal Reserve are inflating the stock market and recommended 401(k)-holders to get out of equities, just like he did.

“I did invest and I got out, and it was actually very good timing,” the Republican presidential nominee said in a phone interview with Fox Business. “But I’ve never been a big investor in the stock market.”

“Interest rates are artificially low,” Trump said. “The only reason the stock market is where it is is because you get free money.”

Trump’s comments come at a time when we are getting a whole host of bad news about the U.S. economy.  We just learned that U.S. GDP grew at a meager 1.2 percent annual rate during the second quarter, the rate of homeownership in the United States just hit an all-time record low, and corporate earnings have now been falling for five quarters in a row.

But perhaps most alarming of all is what is happening to the price of oil.  As I discussed yesterday, the price of oil has plunged well over 20 percent since June 8th, and it was down again on Tuesday.

As I write this article, the price of U.S. oil is sitting at just $39.66.  The psychologically-important 40 dollar barrier has been broken, but the price of oil doesn’t even have to go down another penny to do immense damage to the U.S. economy.  If it just stays at this price, we are going to bleed more energy industry jobs, more energy companies are going to default on their debts, and more financial institutions that are exposed to the energy industry are going to get into serious trouble.

All the ingredients are there for a major financial crisis, and perhaps that explains why so many investors are flocking to precious metals such as gold and silver right now.

The price of gold has gone up for six trading days in a row, and silver is approaching 21 dollars an ounce.

Meanwhile, things continue to unravel on the other side of the planet.  In Europe, let’s just say that the recent bank stress tests did not go as well as many were hoping

If the goal of the EBA Stress Tests was to reassure investors and regain confidence that ‘all is well’ in Europe’s increasingly fragile and systemically interconnected banking system, then it has utterly failed. The broadest European bank stock index is now down 7% from the post-stress-test spike highs, Italian banks are at record lows and being halted (despite Renzi’s promises), Commerzbank is struggling with capital raise chatter, and Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse are tumbling after being booted from the Stoxx 50.

It is funny – every time I write a major article about Deutsche Bank, their stock goes to a new record low.

And it has just happened again.  Less than a week ago, I posted this article, and on Tuesday Deutsche Bank plummeted to a brand new record low as renewed fears about the health of the bank spooked investors.

Problems at Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse are now becoming so obvious that even mainstream analysts are admitting that they are “causing some anxiety”

Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse … are dropping to where they were after the Brexit vote,” said Bruce Bittles, chief investment strategist at Baird. “That’s causing some anxiety.”

Deutsche and Credit Suisse’s U.S.-listed shares closed down 3.75 percent and 4.67 percent, respectively.

In Europe nobody is waiting for financial stocks to crash, because they are already crashing.

A “too big to fail” crisis is rapidly unfolding across the entire continent, but most Americans are totally oblivious to what is going on over there.  Instead, our major news outlets are feeding us an endless barrage of negative headlines about Donald Trump and a steady stream of positive headlines about Hillary Clinton.

I wonder who they want to win the election?

Of course I am being sarcastic.  The days when the mainstream media at least pretended to be “independent” are long gone.

But as far as the stock market is concerned, I am quite confident that Donald Trump will be vindicated.

And if you don’t want to believe Donald Trump, I would encourage you to consider what Jeffrey Gundlach, the chief executive of DoubleLine Capital, has been saying.  He has been right about the markets in recent years over and over again, and just a few days ago he publicly stated that “stocks should be down massively” and that now is the time to “sell everything“.

Unfortunately, very few people are likely to change course at this stage.  Most of those that could see the warning signs have already gotten out of the market, and those that prefer to have blind faith in the system are not likely to listen to warnings from men like Trump and Gundlach.

So now it is just a waiting game.

We shall see if Trump and Gundlach are right, and those that end up on the correct side of the equation are probably going to make a boatload of money during the months ahead.

            Please remember being a politician isn’t or shouldn’t be a career title unto itself. To think only someone from government can run the government is flat out wrong. The President is the head of the Executive Branch of our government- the qualifying experience is “Executive” experience (Obama had none by the way- shocker). True innovation and true change usually comes from outside any given field as they have a clearer view of the limitations and problems and less biased mindset toward possible changes that can be made. You can’t solve a problem with the same thinking (or Politician) that caused the problem.

      Yeah seeing a lot of anti-Trump. I have posted many times that I am expecting the economy to fail in October then Hillary and the bankers will be stuffed. One would expect Hillary to contradict Trump on state of economy – which will backfire. All the dominoes are lined up.
      When third quarter fin results come out – banks and everything will implode.

      Let’s think about this for a minute: Even well known Republicians are are coming out and saying they will vote for Athaliah. Why? Why is the entire western world so involved in our election? Can it be because TPTB have worked so hard and long to get us to the place where they are about ready to institute the NWO, their One World Government? Does “the Donald” threaten their plans? (
      Do we really believe it is because Trump is not qualified to be President? Obama was a Senator for all of 4 years before becoming president. He was a three term senator in IL before that and of course we all know how bankrupt and corrupt that state is and he brought a number of those officials to Washingtom with him. Most were forced out of there for one reason or another!
      Was he any more qualified to be leader of the “free” (sarc) world than Trump with that resume? Can anyone name one piece of legislation he wrote with his legal education specializing in the Constitution? He is certainly an expert at getting around it! Perhaps with Congress’ help! That is important also!
      So why are so many ex and current Washington Republicians REALLY upset at Trump? Isn’t it very odd so many who have been voted into Congress as Republicians really don’t want him to be President? I would think they would be giddy about how so many independents and cross over voters voted for him, wouldn’t you? But they aren’t and in fact it seems they go out of their way to dis him! They speak with forked tongue!
      Let’s go back to something David Wilkerson wrote many years ago, back in the 70’s. (Paraphrasing) He said that just when it looked like the U.S. was going to turn the corner and and turn back to God, and morality, a group of career politicains would hijack the political movement. This occurred just after the 1994 election when the Republicians won the U.S. House for the first time in 50 years. It was the conservatives and religious right which gave the republicians this fantastic win! However, the movement nearly immediately fell into disarray. Some was of their own doing, but Bill Clinton did far worse and got off nearly scot free. The press gave him a free pass while crucifying others who were guilty of far less!
      What happened? I have to speculate a bit here but you be the judge knowing what we now know and especially seeing the political game being played this election cycle.
      TPTB saw that there was a sizeable base of voter support in the nation that wanted conservative (the founding father’s governing principles?) and/or Godly positions upheld by the govenment of the nation.
      A plan had to be designed which would allow these voters to have hope in their desires for the direction of nation but which would, in reality, hijack the infrastructure of the movement into supporting the existing power structure. Thesis vs. anti-thesis, results in a synthesis that constantly moves us closer to their desires.
      The way this was done was that the lifeblood of politics, money, would be donated to politicians who might sound real good to the conservative/relgious right but who, when crunch time arrived, would fold their cards and cave nearly everytime so they could continue to receive the donor’s, their client’s, cash! Enter the RINO’s! WE got the best government money can buy. Completely corrupt! Any disagreements are merely a play for public consumption, which the media is a part of.
      This year TPTB thought they had a lock on the election, no matter if it was Hllary, Bush, Cruz or whomever. Trump gummed up the works! They didn’t expect him to connect with the people as well as he has!
      Whereas they thought they had at least 4 more years, possibly longer, to get all their chess pieces in the game in place to implement their globalization plan, with Trump in the race, and especially in the White House, they might not have anymore years to do so. So what do they do?
      They are circling the wagons and calling in all of their markers, all the favors they are owed by everyone. They are showing anyone who is paying attention that they are the ones who make policy, using government, academia, media, corporations, and even religious organizations (!) and such will be done the way they want. Many Democrates AND Republicians are fully on board with what they want, though each party might want to get there a bit of a different way. However, with Trump in the race, both parties may face a decades long setback and EVEN a realignment to the existing political structures which might threaten their carfully laid plans, and so how the way we get to a globalized one world government is no longer the issue as long as there is no major setback.
      They have already constructed and disseminated their actions should Trump somehow manage to be elected. I believe they will engineer the global collapse they are warning will come if Trump becomes president. This is their Plan “B”. However, I also believe it will backfire as the entire world will go up in flames, after the U.S., and certain nations will come to the forefront of power that TPTB do not have complete control over. Some of those leaders hate these people and completely understand their war-monger qualities! You have to cut the head off!
      Bottom line is, if Trump wins we are in trouble. If Hillary wins they will make sure they accomplish what they want in terms of getting a world govenment and eliminting opposition during her 1st term and she will not care whom she hurts or runs over, i.e., we are still in trouble! She is exactly what they need to try and accomplish their objectives.
      God is still in control. “Except those days should be shortened, no flesh woud remain.” Perhaps this election is the way God is going to shorten those days, by making TPTB make moves before they have everything in place to eliminate all opposition. Be strong in the LORD and in the power of His might!

        Mankind has spent many years running from God or busy proving that God is a figment of their imagination. We have perfected putting everything else under the sun at the center of our worship — except God. Our careers, houses, boats, automobiles, technology, relationships and the almighty dollar. Everything but…. the Lord, who bought our salvation which is a holy contract signed in perfect blood.

        What did all of the man-made unequal prosperity cost us? Depression, anxiety, insomnia, burnout, psychotic breaks as these are not evidence that society as a whole is obeying God or following His commandments but rather they are a witness against us in that we are serving our own selfish needs and fulfilling our own agendas apart from Christ.

        God’s economy is a lot different than man’s economy. When we operate by kingdom standards the return is based on the giving which will meet our needs, it points us to God and teaches us to live and to walk by faith. Man’s economic system is profoundly flawed because at its’ core it is founded on the “pride principle” based on personal wealth and provides a false sense of security, more money equals more power which means more security and you only have one life to live so step on whom you must to achieve your goals.

        Unless the slate is wiped completely clean by some unknown event that triggers a global reset I believe that it will take substantially more than a few generations, well beyond our lifetimes, to find the appropriate solutions to our current global dilemmas. And continuing to refuse to honor God first in our lives will take eternities untold as what we seek is outside of the conscience mind of human beings.

          All you have said is true. In addition, this current economic system is completely corrupt and is actually contrary to God’s prohibition about using “unjust weights and measurements.” It was why He threw out the moneychangers from the temple! He regards it as important!

          When the central bankers can change the values of assets/investments based on whether or not they will “print” more money to buy specific assets or the commodity exchanges authorize more shares which have no additional backing in silver, gold, or other commodities, or they increase margins hundreds of percent, the system is completely corrupt as only those who are insiders know how the system works and when the values will be changed.

          Only a government run by One who can’t be corrupted and whose currency is based on righteousness will ever properly displace man’s propensity to take advantage of others. This Ruler is coming soon!

        I agree with your assessment, Watchman. Many aspects of the globalist plan you explain clearly are dependent on individual people doing their small part, many participating unknowingly as the plan has been integrated into fed programs already. Once they start the process of implosion (probably by ending the propping-up of insolvent banking system and withdrawing all border enforcement) it will unravel rapidly. It’s a great time for those who are born-again followers of the Lord Yeshua (Jesus) to seek His wisdom, and not stop seeking until we know His clear leading as to personal steps that should be taken now. For many it means securing our home, preparing to feed/house/provide first aid/clothe our family without the help of the world. [As His Word says, friendship with the world is emnity toward God. What fellowship hath light with darkness? He who doesn’t provide for his own household is worse than an unbeliever.] Our lives were never meant to be interwoven with those in the world so that we are beholden to or dependent upon them. If we can regain our freedom from worldly entanglement, we must do it now!         I was with you all the way until the last paragraph “God is still in control” and then the quote on the end days thing… First of all who’s god is this? I hope your not refering to the judeo-christian abomination that believes in the chosen people myth, because if you do your in for a rude awakening my friend. just look at the authors of communism and the globalist agenda in the 20th century and tell me this god is in control. Was he in control when the jewish bolsheviks killed millions of Christians in Russia and eastern Europe?           He was in control when the Flood happened and only 8 people survived. Scripture states those on the the earth will be judged once by water and once by fire. We are awaiting the fire though we really desire it wouldn’t need to come to that.
          As for Russia, scripture sates the king of the north that arms most of the nations currently arrayed against Israel (Ez. 38-39) will one day come against them and against other nations as well. While disputable, I believe Daniel speaks of a northern army (Russia, at the end of Daniel 11) and both he and John (both indisputable) speak of an eastern one (the Kings of the East), which at the time of the battle of Armaggedon will come into the ME.
          As I’ve stated elsewhere, the pattern of Scripture is that very few people have ever followed God the way scripture says we are to do so. God is under no obligaion to protect and provide for us in such a case just as a wife or children are not guaranteed such when in rebellion to a husband/father. If we want the protections provided for by His Covenant, we must live according to the terms of His Covenant! (Deut. 4:13)
          God has let, and will let, those of the world judge us for our refusal to submit to His authority. He said He would “chastise you [us] with the rod of men!” This will NEVER change though many will argue all day long about it.
          Scripture reveals the “Great Tribulation”, aka “The Time of Jacob’s Trouble”, as the final discipline on His people from which they will never again stray.
          God has raised up Putin as the “rod” against the U.S; many people have prophesied of this judgment and David Wilkerson wrote a book about it around 1985 called, “Set The Trumpet To Thy Mouth”. He said Russia would nuke the U.S. and we wouldn’t even put up a fight. Most Americans simply don’t believe it will happen but I do and am praying for direction for my family and myself. After that it will be just a short time before the AC arrives. It appears things are lining up just as Scripture reveals.
          I’m sure you know and understand, I simply can’t relate to the horrors so many people through the ages have gone through in their journey with God. Many of us have had it so easy in this country!

I voted BRXIT and I will to be on the street to stop this corruption. Europe is collapsing and so is the USA. Maggie Thatcher said about socialism, eventually you run out of other peoples money, it turns out she was right. Stanford Univ. did an exit poll of the democrat primary, using paper ballots (like your country did, I believe). They polled in every state, and found Hillary received on average 9% more electronic votes on than she did on paper! The paper ballots were collected as each voter exited the room. The deck is stacked against us, but we’ll hope and pray those working to true the vote succeed. The other possibility is almost to painful to imagine.

    I realized the market would crash last December. I Made my investments accordingly. My stock portfolio is up almost 100% since feb betting everything on a market crash. Trump is right. I am right. I look at the money and try to be there ahead of the herd. When you follow the herd you only step in poop. This is your last chance. You have been warned.     You can say that central banks don’t know what they’re doing…. but they do. All of this is planned, just like the crash of 29. Regardless, it will likely start in Europe this time, and since major US banks are exposed to the banks of Europe, the US banks will topple too, just at a later date.     I’m thinking the outcome of the election in November is a moot point. So many other things going on in the world right now, any of which could throw the world into WW3. The US is pretty much powerless these days when it comes to world events. Putan is getting ready to give the US a nuclear surprise and Obama has already said that he would not necessarily respond with nukes. To me, that is the green light from the Prez to fire away.

    The recommendation for 401K holders to get out of equities may be solid advice for those impacted by this particular market investment but it does not help the ones who are invested in a guaranteed fund such as a public employment retirement fund which consists of school teachers, postal workers, police officers and other public servants. These annuity and retirement/vestment accounts in a great deal of states are 100% employer funded contributions and are locked until separation of employment or retirement. Depending on the vest term limits i.e., 2 – 10 years, this could be unsettling for those who stand to lose everything they’ve worked for until now that would be impacted by such a significant market retraction. I just can’t see how this would help those who need reassuring the most right now such as the middle class (what remains of them) and the “working” poverty income level citizens.

The globalist “no import tariff” economy has killed the American job market and placed the US as the most indebted in earth. Trump is right, if we don’t stop these globalist, NWO this time, the US will be Venezuela in much larger scale.

    Majority of people does not understand that government is directly link to the economy and likewise economy is link to business. Without business there’s no government. A country that doesn’t produce physical product has no business and no economy and that is what’s happening to the US with the global “no import tariff” trade.

By July 30th, people here, even down here in Little Rock, people are beginning to understand WHY the single-ended business model is finally reaching an end point. Everybody can’t continue to steal from everybody all of the time.

      BTW, this is a business that really could make America great again, at a introductory price that would make the owner of a McDonald’s cream in their jeans.

      They say all of the world’s fortunes were made through theft. This certainly occurs through acts of war. Madmen presume the right to destroy nations, such as Libya, and while pocketing $20 billion or so in gold reserves and oil ‘assets’ (see shell-games and collusion) begin to think/act as if somehow God herself had given them the green light to lay waste to their own people with equal fervor as well.

      And, that’s when I’m glad to make less than zero, on their so-called poverty scales. -Here’s to more large scale canvases depicting Wall St. like Guernica!

    Just some food for thought!!! About three years ago I had my truck and trailer destroyed by an after the SuperBowl Fan. In the next few weeks after going back and forth with the his Insurance company. The choice was settle or sue. Being right or wrong had nothing to do with it. Suing meant months or years? Scoff if you must, but one night the Lord placed on my mind, “It’s a rigged game”, and about two weeks later the WSJ had headlines that stated those very words. Mr Trump is using that phrase often. Revelation 13 describes a new economic system that is coming upon this world, but before that happens might there be an economic collapse? Perhaps through decree or war?

    As it turned out, I sold a bunch of my stocks recently for some quick cash, right before the latest downturn. So go me, even if it was complete coincidence. It was going to be a little while before I replaced any of them anyway; it will be interesting to see if Trump is right. I’d been thinking about investing in other things anyway.

    I am a Donald Trump supporter, but the only 3 interest rates set by the Federal Reserve have NOTHING WHATSOEVER to do with the inflated prices in the stock market which are mostly all due to RECORD STOCK BUYBACKS BY CORPORATIONS and endless MANIC SPECULATION with no regard whatsoever to the fundamentals of individual stocks.
