Ebola In America: The Confirmed Case In Dallas, Texas Could Change Everything

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

United States Map On A Globe - Public DomainThe day that many of us hoped would never arrive is here.  Ebola has come to America.  Air travel between the United States and the countries of Liberia, Guinea and Sierra Leone should have been totally shut down except for absolutely essential personnel but it wasn’t.  And now our nation may end up paying a great price as a result.  On Tuesday, the CDC announced that there is a confirmed case of Ebola in Dallas, Texas.  We know that this individual is a male and that he traveled by air from Liberia to Texas on September 19th.  At that time, he was not exhibiting any symptoms.  It is being reported that he started developing symptoms on September 24th and that he sought out treatment two days later.  Incredibly, he was turned away and sent home.  Then on September 28th he went to a hospital again and this time he was admitted for treatment.  That means that he could have potentially been spreading Ebola to others for at least four full days before finally getting treated at a hospital.  Now he is in intensive care at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas.  The CDC says that “there is no doubt that we will stop it here” and is promising that “it will not spread widely in this country”.  The CDC better be right on both counts.

At this point, the CDC is admitting that it is not known if others have been infected by this individual.  The CDC also says that it is tracking down everyone that he has been in contact with.  But over four days in a major U.S. city, you can be “in contact” with a whole lot of people.  And what about all of the people that those people were in contact with?

If I was in charge of this crisis, I would admit that we don’t know the full scope of the problem yet but that we are dealing with it the best that we can.

Instead, the director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is taking an entirely different approach.  Dr. Thomas Frieden insists that we have absolutely nothing to worry about

“I have no doubt that we will control this case of Ebola, so that it does not spread widely in this country. It is certainly possible that someone who has had contact with this patient could develop Ebola. But there is no doubt in my mind that we will stop it here.”

Frieden better be right about that.

Other “experts” are being even more dogmatic

“There is no cause for concern,” says Peter Hotez, dean of the National School of Tropical Medicine and professor at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. “The Ebola virus is not easily transmitted from person to person, and we have an outstanding infrastructure in place both to contain the virus and trace contacts. There will not be an Ebola epidemic in the United States.”

I have no idea how they can say these things when the outbreak over in Africa is completely and totally out of control.  Despite extreme precautions, hundreds of health workers have gotten the virus, and so far global health officials have not even been able to slow down the exponential growth of the Ebola pandemic in West Africa.

And our health officials should not be so dogmatic about how this virus spreads either.

In a previous article, I discussed a study that was conducted back in 2012 that demonstrated that Ebola could be transmitted through the air between pigs and monkeys that did not have physical contact with one another

When news broke that the Ebola virus had resurfaced in Uganda, investigators in Canada were making headlines of their own with research indicating the deadly virus may spread between species, through the air.

The team, comprised of researchers from the National Centre for Foreign Animal Disease, the University of Manitoba, and the Public Health Agency of Canada, observed transmission of Ebola from pigs to monkeys. They first inoculated a number of piglets with the Zaire strain of the Ebola virus. Ebola-Zaire is the deadliest strain, with mortality rates up to 90 percent. The piglets were then placed in a room with four cynomolgus macaques, a species of monkey commonly used in laboratories. The animals were separated by wire cages to prevent direct contact between the species.

Within a few days, the inoculated piglets showed clinical signs of infection indicative of Ebola infection. In pigs, Ebola generally causes respiratory illness and increased temperature. Nine days after infection, all piglets appeared to have recovered from the disease.

Within eight days of exposure, two of the four monkeys showed signs of Ebola infection. Four days later, the remaining two monkeys were sick too. It is possible that the first two monkeys infected the other two, but transmission between non-human primates has never before been observed in a lab setting.

There is much that we don’t understand about this disease.

I can understand the need to keep the public calm, but why don’t these officials just tell us the truth?

At the same time that they are telling us that there is no chance that there will be an Ebola epidemic in the United States, they are also sending out guidelines to funeral homes on how to deal with dead Ebola victims…

CBS46 News has confirmed the Centers for Disease Control has issued guidelines to U.S. funeral homes on how to handle the remains of Ebola patients. If the outbreak of the potentially deadly virus is in West Africa, why are funeral homes in America being given guidelines?

The three-page list of recommendations include instructing funeral workers to wear protective equipment when dealing with the remains since Ebola can be transmitted in postmortem care. It also instructs to avoid autopsies and embalming.

Why are they doing this if there is “no chance” that the disease will spread widely?

Hopefully they isolated this Ebola patient in Dallas in time.

Hopefully he did not infect anyone else.

But we need to be honest about the situation that we are potentially facing.  So far, there have been more than 6,000 cases of Ebola in Africa and more than 3,000 of those have died.  Unfortunately, even WHO officials admit that those official numbers “great underestimate” the scope of this outbreak.  The number of official cases has been doubling approximately every three weeks, and the CDC says that under a “worst case scenario” we could be looking at 1.4 million cases by the end of January 2015.

Right now all of the treatment facilities in Liberia and Sierra Leone are completely full and more than 80 percent of Ebola patients have been turned away and sent home without being treated.  It is an absolute nightmare, and now it has come to America.

And as the virus continues to spread, it is inevitable that more carriers of the disease will get on airplanes headed for America.

Unfortunately for us, according to a recent Defense One article the screening done at airports actually does very little to stop the spread of Ebola…

The bad news is that thermal screenings of the international flying population at airports are not likely to yield much by way of improved safety.

Here’s why: fever can be a sign of a lot of different illnesses, not just Ebola. And thermal scanning proved to be a poor method of catching bird flu carriers in 2009 as well. So presenting with an elevated temperature at an airport checkpoint does not indicate clearly enough that the fevered person is carrying the deadly virus. More importantly, the incubation period for Ebola is two days. As many as 20 days can pass before symptoms show up. That means that an individual could be carrying the virus for two weeks or longer and not even know it, much less have it show up via thermal scan. So what good are these scanners?

When I first started writing about Ebola, a few people accused me of “spreading fear”.

Well, now that Ebola has arrived in the United States, perhaps they will take a second look at some of my recent articles…

-“The Pure Hell At The Heart Of The Ebola Pandemic In Africa Could Soon Be Coming To America

-“Computer Models Tell Us That This Ebola Pandemic Could Soon Kill Millions

-“16 Apocalyptic Quotes From Global Health Officials About This Horrific Ebola Epidemic

-“Ebola Among Health Workers: More Than 240 Sick, More Than 120 Dead

-“It Is Becoming Clear – We Are NOT Prepared For An Ebola Pandemic

Let us pray that this is just one isolated case and that there will not be a major outbreak in this nation.

Because if cases do start popping up around the country, fear will spread like wildfire and we could potentially be facing the greatest health crisis that any of us have ever seen.

One of the individuals that successfully survived this disease was Dr. Kent Brantly.  I think that the following quote from him really does a great job of summarizing what we are potentially facing…

“Many have used the analogy of a fire burning out of control to describe this unprecedented Ebola outbreak,” Brantly said. “Indeed it is a fire—it is a fire straight from the pit of hell. We cannot fool ourselves into thinking that the vast moat of the Atlantic Ocean will protect us from the flames of this fire. Instead, we must mobilize the resources … to keep entire nations from being reduced to ashes.”

A virus like this could change everything if it starts circulating widely.

Like I have said so many times before, let us hope for the best, but let us also prepare for the worst.

    So, it has started…

    • seth datta

Nope. The middle east cold war is discrediting Christianity and the west, as well as discrediting islam. Then it begins as one group that runs the banks enslaves everybody in plain sight, not just covertly which is taking place at the moment.

          I second that huh.

      • Hammerstrike

Islam is discrediting itself just fine.

  • K

Notice, still no shutdown of incoming air flights. Border still wide open. They have no intention of taking any pro-active steps. Yes they have been in contact, with people he may have exposed. Proper action would be to quarantine them, no mention of that action. I once stated if Ebola made it here, it would be because the government wanted it to. I have not changed my opinion.

    • T.

If ordinary people such as those of us write comments on this blog have to point out the Gross Negligence of this Government and the CDC – Folks, don’t you Think the people of this Nation are in Serious trouble?

      • Priszilla

If your comments would change anything you could call it democracy. But so you have only a republic, like north korea.

        • Bayrooster

moron! in a true Republic one retains all God-given / Inalienable rights. In a democracy your Inalienable rights can be voted away from you. You clearly do not know the difference between a democracy and a TRUE Replblic, of which not one exists on Earth anymore. America used to be a TRUE Republic but over the past 50 years it has become, by default, a democracy – which is: 1.) mob rule and, 2.) 2 wolves and a sheep voting on what is for dinner.

One more item from a miscellaneous “sneeze” website: sneeze cloud droplets can enter heat/AC ventilation systems. Think planes, enclosed buildings, malls, offices, modern apartment complexes, etc. Don’t know if Ebola virus survives while circulating in vent systems.

      • Infidel51

Ebola can survive at room temp on a dry surface for 45 days.

    • laura m.

K: totally agree, this country is being trashed daily by the powers that be, and few in authority take a stand or speak out ex: leaders of the community, politicians state and local who are useless bums anyway, and ministers/church leaders controlled by the IRS, who supposedly will be caught up in a so called rapture, and are only in it for the money..

    • Kim

unbelievable, K. I am simply speechless at the lack of concern and urgency by those that ought to be taking this seriously.

      • K

I wish I was surprised. The only question is which direction they will take. Kill a lot of people, or make billions, like they did with the swine flu.

    • Mondobeyondo

Well, the man who arrived in the U.S. from Liberia showed no signs of being ill when he boarded the plane. So my guess is that there were no suspicions aroused. No need to ban any flights, etc.

And that’s what makes this disease scary. If it does have an “incubation period” where one who has it can transmit it to other people, without showing any symptoms for several days – who knows how many people are at risk?

  • Ctlady

Two things are now inevitable, pandemic and death. There are none so blind as those that will not see. God have mercy on us all.

    • Mike Smithy

I’m just glad that President Zero finally has a plan to make good on them “Shovel Ready Jobs”.

  • Sandbagger

Those two “experts” who are basically saying, “Don’t worry, be happy.” remind me of the TEPCO bunch when they knew the S had HTF but didn’t want to alarm anyone.

When the “experts” say that there’s nothing to see here, move along…well, you know.

It’s going to be a Merry Christmas for many, isn’t it? 🙁

    • Shovel Ready

I agree. It’s just a bunch of b.s. to try to keep people from panicking. They are entirely too insistent about how they can control ebola with their proven public health protocols. They are not believable.

The FIRST “tried and true” public health protocol they should’ve followed is restricting flights and travel from countries with known infected populations. The SECOND would be isolating everyone who came into contact with that patient after September 20th. They have now missed the two most promising opportunities to stop this thing “in its tracks.”

One more thing. If you lived in Liberia and knew you had come into contact with an Ebola patient with active infection (as this patient in fact did know), and knew you had perhaps a week to 10 days before airport screening would pick up on your infection, would you just go home and wait to die, or would you get on the first flight available and head to the USA for some of our modern FREE treatment? If I can figure that out so can all those folks in Liberia, etc. Too bad the CDC can’t.

  • hurricane

Looks like there finally going to be able to use those fema coffins.Good luck Amerikia.

    • pryman

I was the first and only one to report the fema coffins to this group I belonged to. They demoted me, and ran me out.

    • Janice

Has the government been preparing for an “Ebola event”?  Is this what the
stockpiles of plastic FEMA body coffins  are for?  What about those reportedly new, empty, isolated, secured facilities…containment/quarantine  treatment locations?   Why are local LE are geared up with military, crowd control equipment?     The NSA,  DHS, FBI can identify, track & find ANYONE.  Will technology be used to locate all of an Ebola victims network of family, friends, co-workers, associates, recent travel locations & activities.    Facebook alone will yield  all of this including photos of every family/friend & FB contact/like.  Can’t hide, abscond, evade authorities unless you go off grid like that Pennsylvania killer hiding in the mountain.  And they will get him…dead or alive.

      • Hammerstrike

What if he used public toilets while bleeding from the hole?

Had to waite Before his examination? Taxi? Bus?

      • Sorcha The Dark Eyed Elf

Those FEMA body coffins are really just coffin shaped storage containers, or maybe zombie containers. If a pandemic really broke out, they would just cremate bodies in stockpiles. Cheaper and more sanitary:-)

The only ones who have shown themselves to be Condemned and Punished are those who have choosen to Believe, who rejected that they know or do not know because it was convenient for them to do so.
If this universe was indeed created by an all-powerfull being then ignoring and rejecting it could be an even more of a bad idea than if the universe just came to be on its own.

(Evolutionists say it rained on the rocks for billions of years and formed a prebiotic stew, from which we came.)

Where did the rain come from?

Where did the rocks come from?

How does Life proceed from non-life?

            Mind from matter?

How does all the complexity and design manifest throughout the world and the Universe proceed from absolute vacuum?

How can a government by the people and for the people operate in the manner we are seeing here?
It looks like a deliberate infection of the population.
What do they gain by having a plague?
Does that constitute High Crimes and Treason?
I do think we are going to find out and very soon . . .
Standard Operating Procedures in the event of a contagious disease are on the books. The problem is getting the officials to enforce them.
This is not the first time this country has faced diseases that are fatal.
What we are dealing with is a Democrat that wishes to selectively enforce only those rules that he likes. That will not work long term.
I think part of the plan in place must be to eliminate a whole lot of very young and very old people. The motive is to remove them from the lists of people on various government programs like Social Security. It also effects things like industrial pension liabilities.
I think some people in authority in both houses of Congress need to start getting off their behinds and start moving on investigating what is actually going on here.

  • DJohn1

Concerning the illegal entry of aliens to this country, every county in the country is in violation of the law.
Everyone that is over 18 has to be registered for the draft even though we do not currently have a draft.
The classification for aliens of good health is C-1. That means all those illegal aliens are basically in violation of federal law. Anyone aiding and helping them NOT to register for the draft are also on the wrong side of the law as assessories after the fact.
What applies to citizens also applies to non-citizens. That is why Indians get drafted even though they have reservation statuts. Currently the entire antique law does not mean a thing because we do not have a draft. It is only a matter of time before we do.
    Everyone knows about 4-F.
I maintain that even if they get legal status into this country they are still in violation of numerous state and federal tax lasws.
The easy way out for the government was to deport them.
That easy way out no longer exists.
So there is reasonable application here that puts all of them in federal prisons.

    • Hammerstrike

At least the illegal immigration is going to fall.

    • TXTripletMom

      • Firstgarden

TXTripletMom, I am aware that some teachers have speculated that America does indeed appear in the prophecies. For instance, the prophecies noted in Ezekiel 38 and Revelations 12, 17, 18.

I see no consensus for this among prominent prophecy scholars. The scriptures are far too ambiguous, with little or no more credibility than a Nostradamus quatrain.

I’m not ruling out the possibility. I just don’t see strong enough evidence.
        Kind regards.

    • Nonsene

No other country in the world does it. Not even Switzerland with one of the highest immigration rates from Africa. They will handle it. If they wanted to spread ebola by serious intention to harm us, the number of infectors would be higher than just one infected. Also its completely nonsense. Think of the reaction of Wall street if there is an epidemic here in US. Why should (at least the government) want this, I mean theyre sponsored by the Wall Street, they had no power at all without WS money…?

      • Mudpie

Who said there is any intent? It is rather a politically calculated move to avoid appearing “mean” towards Africa and black folk and pet political causes. I do not think they give a rat’s behind about the results. What are a few dead Americans when you can save the world? Forget that those Americans used to be considered important because, indeed, of their citizenship status as Americans.

Personally I do not care what Switzerland does. And I do not want to be like Europe.

We will see who is right in three months. Either there will be no significant Ebola cases, God willing, or there will be quite a few (if not as virulent a spread as in Africa).

They know that carriers are going to slip in. I predicted this two weeks ago. It is absurd to think otherwise.

Query: Why haven’t they published this guy’s picture so people could know if they had contact? I mean, seriously?

        • Nonsense

          1. Yes youre right. The part of the intention is related to another post, so sorry.

          2. You should be interested in Switzerland because it now is what America once was. The land of wealth and progress, with politicans who care for their people. There is no one homeless. And so its clearly differing from the rest of Europe. We could learn from them. We should at least.

          • Mudpie

Actually, I have read good things about Switzerland as well. But we would disagree on many other issues.

          • kenfrombayside

One thing about Switzerland should be applauded: they said no to more third world immigration. Of course, self-hating pundits called the Swiss racist etc. Because Geo. Washington owned slaves, we are now forbidden to discuss or critisize anything, like the continuing alien invasion, that affects our well-being.

      • Infidel51

There is an economic reckoning of biblical proportion on the way. The chickens have come home to roost for the debt fueled house of cards that we live in. They need a boogeyman or men to blame the coming disaster on and an epidemic of Ebola would do nicely.

This new version of Ebola can be transmitted through the air. It was designed to do that so that it can spread. That’s the reason why so many health workers are dying. The main stream media is hushing it up. Very early there was an articles from a doctor in Africa warning the world that this version of Ebola has been weaponised to travel through the air.
The African countries involves were selected because they have a high immigration rate to Europe. Get the picture? As the death rate increases there will be massive illegal immigration to Europe which will lead to an epidemic in Europe and then a global Pandemic as it fans out from thee to the rest of the world.

The early symptoms of the current strain of Ebola appear to be similar, at a glance, to the Enterovirus D-68:

Fever, headache, muscle pain, weakness, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain.

Fever, runny nose, sneezing, cough, skin rash, mouth blisters, body and muscle aches.

A busy and chaotic weekend night in a big city ER might see a few misdiagnosed cases of Ebola for D68; and a type of viral ground zero could be spawned…leading to a microbial crisis of unthinkable proportions.

Now that a EVD case has in fact surfaced in Dallas, it’s a small comfort to note that Barry is as consistent as ever: he said it wasn’t likely that Ebola would be found here. As usual, the reality is exactly opposite.

There is not a huge degree of separation in the world. I just did a quick test and in the last 12 hours since this news has broken I have had contact with 20 people. If I was sick I could potentially pass that on then those 20 are in contact with 20 more each by 12 hours from now. So in one day that is 800 people who could be infected. If this guy even had minimal contact for 3-4 days there could be thousands if not tens of thousands potential cases. Are you going to shut down Dallas??? Dallas is an official quarantine zone. This is the pandemic the government needs. This may be it. The tipping point. Pandemic/Panic/Martial Law/Economic Collapse. If you want food and water you have to go to a “FEMA CAMP”

    Dave Hodges wrote this:

“In the face of an Ebola outbreak, the government should be deploying the military at all border entry points and in airports for the purpose of establishing quarantine zones for passengers suspected of exposure to the Ebola virus. All flights, to and from Africa, should be banned from entering U.S. airspace. Instead of protecting America, this administration is sending 3,000 soldiers, untrained in dealing with Ebola outbreaks, to Africa for reasons that nobody can seemingly identify? Why? We continue to leave our southern border completely open and Ebola, in the form of a bio-terror weapon can and will be brought into the United States. Again, I ask why?”

Why, In my opinion this is the easiest way to put the US on its knees with the least amount of damage. I will bet a million dollars that they have a vaccine already that cures Ebola. Why did they bring the medical personal back to the US from Africa. To test the vaccine. Will you and I get the vaccine? I highly doubt it. If millions die they won’t care. Quarantine zones will be a death sentence.

Pray to God people and get your life right with God as you may soon be meeting him.

    • Priszilla

It’s not that dramatic. Let’s say you have aymptoms and are producing viruses and contact 20 people.
      Then those 20 go home.
Within 20 days some of these develop symptoms and produce viruses and when they THEN infect others the virus will spread.

Viruses are molecules. When a cell encounters such a molecule it makes copies. When tge cell dies these copies are released and enter other cells.

Other cells in the body eat these foreign molecules. Antibodies are made to recognise the viruses dock to them and make them not work.

A vaccination puts virus samples into the body that do not get copied but could serve as templates to make anti bodies. So when the real thing comes along the body has a full armory.

      That’s grade 10 biology stuff.

Who was he? What flight was he on? Where did he go when he came back to America? Where does he live? The government says it has made efforts to contact everyone he came into contact with, how? May we see his picture? Where did he work? So many questions, so few answers. Bland assurances from the authorities about how they have everything under control. I wish I could believe them. Trust is a very hard thing to come by in this administration that seems to lie about everything.

I watched a Vice documentary about Liberia over a year ago…before the outbreak. The most unsanitary place one could imagine. Totally stupid unsanitary! This one town was near a beach where the people defecated. They didn’t even know to bury their waste…turd beach. Any infection would spread like wildfire under the conditions I saw in that documentary. It was called ‘The Cannibal Warlords of Liberia’….yes, cannibalism; with cell phones.

From the get-go, anyone who has raised alarms about this spreading to America has been called a racist and conspiracy theorist or something along those lines. Wanting to keep a poorly understood and deadly disease out of America is neither racist nor paranoid. It has been the lack of leadership of the world’s nations that failed to seal off the borders of the infected countries which has led to this coming to America and who knows where else. This should have been common sense, but it was lost in a sea of complacency and a belief that this outbreak would be no different from all the prior ones. It also means that the authorities are going to be increasingly less credible going forward, especially since the CDC admits they grossly underestimated the potential spread of the disease in Africa. I’m hoping and praying that it doesn’t start spreading in America, or elsewhere in the world, but the possibility is certainly there, and people need to take steps now to prepare for an extended period of quarantine, travel restrictions, interruption of utilities, and so on.

  • aliceinwonder

There are a couple of observations I’d like to share that are each worthy of an article, but since they’re somewhat time sensitive, and I don’t want to wait until I make writing them a priority, I’ll just share them here…

The two big stories in the news lately surround the alleged ebola pandemic, and the creeping incompetence of the Secret Service.

First, the ebola panic is being used to condition the public to accept some vaccine that will make its much anticipated appearance at the height of the fear the media is inciting. This vaccine has already been around for several years, but most people don’t know that. (I’ll have to confirm this.) Furthermore, as has been the case in the last few years with the flu vaccine that people blindly get, they’ll announce a shortage of the ebola vaccine to create an inordinate demand that will send people rushing to their doctors, hospitals, local health departments, anywhere they might avail themselves of the shot they think will save them from certain death.

Problem is, both the ebola virus and the vaccine to supposedly combat it are being manipulated by the same players…the CDC (whom I haven’t trusted for a long time), George Soros, and Bill and Melinda Gates. Gates is on record as saying, in effect, that the earth is overpopulated, and well-planned distribution of vaccines throughout underdeveloped countries, principally to their children, will remedy that “problem” by reducing the population by 10-15%.

Gates is also a major player behind the push of the surrealistically evil Common Core nightmare being foisted via major deception upon our children in public schools. Between dumbing us down and drugging us out of existence, he and his fellow elites can get the earth’s population down to a more manageable 500 million. Of course, they never volunteer to make a personal sacrifice for that cause, i.e. kill themselves. That’s why they’re elites.

That’s OK, what goes around, comes around. When judgment day comes, there will be no reboot mechanism available for those who will have the beginnings of eternal regret when they stand before Almighty God.

    But I digress.

The second issue is this crazy notion that the Secret Service is proving to be alarmingly inept at protecting the man for whom they are trained and PAID to risk their lives. I’m beginning to think this might be by design, for a couple of reasons.

One, ever since Obama has begun his term of disgracing America, he has made some very unwise comparisons of himself to two past presidents, namely Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy. Now, think with me for just a minute… what do those two presidents have in common? Doh! They were both taken out, and I don’t mean on a date. I’m doing my best here to avoid that @$$@$$inate word, because some SS goons might leave their post at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue and knock on my door to question my intentions, as if I had even the remotest designs to cause harm to a man I have zero respect for. The office I respect. The man usurping it, not so much. I have neither the means, the motive, nor the opportunity to personally hurt the guy.

Two, in the last five miserable years of what some people loosely call his leadership, it is almost as though he is goading his enemies into an act of personal aggression against him (more on this later). By his actions, which he must know are increasingly offensive to the entire world on so many levels, he may as well be saying “go ahead, hit me.” How many times can a guy play golf on the job and not get fired? And that’s really the least odious of his offenses.

It has come out that he has attended fewer than half of his security briefings. Dude, seriously?! In all the years I have WORKED for a living, if I had missed more than half my meetings, I would have been shown the door in a hurry. And it isn’t like they were discussing some upcoming fund raising event (well, war does have a way of extorting taxes from unwilling or oblivious subjects), these are matters of national security, for crying out loud.

How much illegal immigration will he continue to allow and downright promote, to the likely irreversible detriment to our country? You could almost make the case that hey, the guy that made it into the White House past Secret Service security personnel was just an illegal immigrant of a different nature, crossing a different border…. Oh, but when it’s YOUR border that’s being penetrated, that’s different, isn’t it?

    There are several possibilities here…

the guy is just a buffoon, and he isn’t trying to hide it anymore

he’s purposely laying back on various issues until the public outcry is so great that he will finally stand up and say “OK, the people have demanded action, and I’m going to act”, but in some way we intended to act all along anyway – this is why it’s always dangerous to just demand unspecified action by saying “do something!”

he’s pushing his enemies to destroy him, making him a martyr for the New World Order. This sounds far-fetched at first if you are unfamiliar with the movie Manchurian Candidate (the original in black & white with Frank Sinatra). This would make him the most subtle form of suicide bomber…sacrificing his own life to bring about the chaos which would certainly ensue, stoked by the claims of the media that he was the victim of a culture of hate, etc. It would be the perfect pretext for declaring martial law and finalizing the police state. Of all the things I’ve ever wanted to be wrong about, this is the one I most wish not to be so.

But as much as the Clintons disrespected the military and the Secret Service, Obama has taken these constant insults to a new level. He has fired a considerable number of high-ranking military officers, likely old school career men with a sense of tradition and propriety, the kind that could pull off a coup that would remove him from power.

My hunch is that the members of his Secret Service detail, though initially and basically men of integrity and character, have been witnessing the accelerating decline of this country under his watch to the point that their hearts may no longer be in it, and their duty to protect the man destroying America violates their love for her. How much dedication can he continue to expect from men whose morale he degrades on a daily basis by his blatantly anti-American actions?

I’d be willing to bet that applications for positions in the Secret Service White House detail have not been at an all-time high since 2009.

Some of the latest propaganda being put out is that this new CIA created boogie man to replace Al Qaeda (which Americans grew tired of hearing invoked), ISIS, probably just as bogus, is targeting him personally. Talk about mixed emotions. If he is removed from office, I’d much rather it be via his resignation, impeachment (not as good an idea as it sounds, some of you know what I mean), or bloodless military coup. All of those would be internally handled by Americans. We don’t want to see something we want done by someone we don’t want doing it, i.e. his fellow Muslims (or CIA operatives acting as Muslims).

It reminds me of Teddy Roosevelt’s sage observation that in politics, nothing happens by accident; if it happens, it was planned that way. If thinking only in a worldly sense, it’s pretty eerie, in light of my foregoing commentary. However, we know that ultimately, God is control, no matter how utterly ridiculous things get.

Those are my observations, for whatever they’re worth (and yeah, they stretched to article length, didn’t they?). Fervent prayer and repentance are probably the only things that will prevent these things from happening, because as necessary as it is to persist, political activism alone will not do it. We are being warned by a very gracious, merciful Creator that judgment is imminent, but are we listening, or just stiffening our necks?

No matter what they continue to say about Ebola being difficult to catch and only bodily fluid can transmit the disease ect ect ect. They are lying. Period. 240 health care workers have contracted the disease in west Africa. That means that 240 people who knew they were dealing with the most deadly virus known to man and took every precaution to avoid infection still caught it. As a healthcare provider I take care of patients every day with dangerous diseases transmitted by bodily fluids. I don’t ever catch these diseases because I take basic easy steps to avoid it. It’s not difficult to avoid even with only gloves and a mask. Ebola is extremely contagious. Do not believe what they keep telling you. Just remember the 240 healthcare workers. In all other Ebola outbreaks as soon as the disease was identified the number of healthcare workers who became infected was zero. This Ebola is different, very different. I can not express to all of you how scared I am. I have not decided wether I will go to work when there is an Ebola pt in my hospital. I may not and a whole lot of my colleagues may not either.

The reason it is so contagious is because the virus goes on a crazy replication spree towards the end. When the viruses burst your cells open getting out, they cause you to bleed, furthering their spread even more.

  • DJohn1

I agree that if it comes here, then everything will have to change.
For the average person, that change likely will be death.
For the average person, anything and everything that you have ever acquired will be owned by the hospitals fighting this epidemic. That is what happens when you get a serious illness that knocks you out of the work force for a long time. Your health insurance is a joke. It will not cover you in the event of an epidemic of massive proportions because those insurance companies will go bankrupt.
Many people on salary will survive financially. The rest of us not so much. I am on pensions. I am old. I have type II diabetes. I do not really expect to survive such an epidemic nor do I particularly wish to if everyone I love dies with it.
I have an immune system different than a lot of people.
I ended up sick in World War II in Britain. Then we went to Canada for a year. I was sick a lot there too. Then we came to Dayton, Ohio. At the time my Dad had a very lucrative job at McCalls Printing Plant making very good money. A doctor here, diagnosed me and operated on my tonsills. The sickness stopped at that time. Also the food supply was a lot better than Britain which helped. I have also been in places as far West as South Korea and Hong Kong. It is possible that I have a very strong immune system in my old age. It is possible I might survive because of it. None of my family has that strong an immune system. I was usually the last person standing when a flu bug hit the family in my youth.
If it happens, I intend to stay home with my family and live off the canned goods and frozen goods we have accumulated. Probably enough to keep us for 3 or 4 weeks. Might be more.
IF it hits, expect martial law. Expect people to be isolated that have the disease. Expect them to be written off as dead most of the time.
Our entire life style is going to have to change away from groups if people are to survive.
Our entire economy will collapse as will most economies throughout the world.
IF it really hits here, every country in the world will be infected bar none.
The internet will be very important for survival. IF it stays up. Because a lot of commerce can be done on the internet without infecting people.
That assumes of course that the power companies are able to provide power to the houses for a long time. IF it hits in winter, that will not happen. Yet winter is the ideal time because it restricts movement.of individuals. I do not now if the virus can survive freezing temperatures.
So far it is in countries where frost is rare.
When the smoke clears, I suggest only one third of the population is likely to survive world wide. That is extremely optimistic. It could be as little as 7% of the world will survive.
The world as we know it will have disappeared.
The group most likely to survive might be small farmers. They are the group that is independent of the economy.
On any illness, there is a bell curve of people immune to the disease or carriers of the disease.
The key to survival is an effective quarantine. But even that might not work.
The funeral homes are going to have to burn the victims. No other answer makes sense. How they do that will determine if the disease spreads. Because if it is likely airborne then all bets are off.
I suggest that there is some kind of stage in the disease where it is capable of being airborne. That is the only answer that really makes sense.
Though it has been pointed out that the places where the epidemic has occurred have very little sanitation in place. That the suits worn by the staffs are inadequate to contain the disease.
We have toilets. We have the ability to boil things. We have sanitation procedures. None of which has ever been effective in keeping the flu from the house.
I suggest that all eating utensils be sterilized prior to use.
Same with all the dishes and pots and pans.
Eventually if we last long enough, the drug companies will come up with an emergency cure and distribute it world wide.
After the fact, we might be dealing with multiple side effects from those medicines. But the main disease might be contained.
But if we have the ability to isolate and quarantine then maybe we can keep it from our shores. Someone is going to have to seal those borders to make that happen.
If not, you are looking at the biggest disaster to ever hit modern man.

What about the people that were sitting next to the ebola carrier in the airplane? Have they been tracked and notified? What about the people that interacted with the person over the days. Have they been notified?

    • jazzword78

My opinion is that the people the infected man came into contact with have no clue (how many people were on his flight, how many people did he pass in the airport, how man people did he pass or come into contact with before being admitted to the hospital. It’s like saying all the ants in one ant hill are being tracked down because of one sick ant).

It’s amazing how the mainstream media, at least in the U.S., tends to downplay the urgency of the situation. Now that Ebola is here, it’s nothing to worry about, right? The talking heads (apologies to David Byrne!) on TV will try to reassure you that the common cold is far worse than Ebola. Tell that to the people in West Africa.

There is now allegedly a second possible case of Ebola in the Dallas area – and there may be as many as several schoolchildren that have been exposed.

    1. If Ebola is only contagious by bodily fluids, why did 240 health care workers become infected

    2. You can be infected with Ebola for two weeks before exhibiting signs of infection. You can begin showing symptoms 2 to 21 days after being infected (if Ebola is airborne, the person in Dallas acted as a very dangerous carrier)

    3. The infected man showed symptoms on the 24th and sought treatment two days later, but was sent home. Why did he seek treatment? did he know he was infected? Why was he sent home, and then admitted later? How did the staff know he was infected with Ebola? Did this man finally admit he had come from Africa? Why wasn’t this man questioned properly the first time he sough treatment?

    4. The infected man began showing symptoms on the 24th–this means that he his infection period was between 2 to 21 days.–how many people has this man made contact with before showing signs of infection and after showing signs of infection? He was on an airplane, walked through an airport, entered a major populated city. Common sense confirms that this man came into contact with countless people. It’s being reported this man left Liberia on the 20th showing no symptoms–but four days later, in America, he began showing symptoms but didn’t seek treatment until two days later. Where was he for these two days before seeking treatment?

    5. Does this man have a family? Was he a healthcare worker? Who is he? Where was he when he began showing symptoms, where did he go after intiially being turned away th first time before going back for treatment a second time?

    6. Why did the healthcare worker admitted in Atlanta taken to the hospital in full protective gear if the Ebola virus is only transmitted by fluids? And again, how did over 240 health care workers become infected?

    7. If this man was traveling from a virus plagued country, why wasn’t he red flagged, even if he wasn’t showing symptoms at the time?

    8. The CDC is speaking lies to suppress public panic. Will we see an Ebola vaccination being pushed on the American public soon? why isn’t the DHS creating preventive measures in the airports? Why is the southern border being left wide open?

    9. Why are American military troops being sent to the Ebola plagued countries? Why is the department of defense getting involved? And if these measures are being taken–for reasons unknown–how did an infected man arrive in America?

Ebola is airborne. The man infected in Dallas–and I’m not saying this as a fact but as opinion–could have possibly infected hundreds of unsuspecting people. Now keep in mind, Dallas has a large illegal population (people who can’t be tracked). What happens when illegals becomes carriers?

The facts being reported are a weak smoke screen attempting to hide the truth. Too many unanswered questions remain. Was this man deliberately brought to America–was this orchestrated? I can’t say. But I do know that the NSA can track every phone call and e-mail of over a billion people in America, but one man, from a virus plagued country, is allowed into America without question? And when this man sought treatment for the first time he was not admitted? Why? Why was he admitted only the second time? There’s an information gap between this man’s first and second visit to the hopsital that’s very important to find out. Did this man finally admit he was from Africa the second time around? Is this man African? does he speak with an African accent? did healthcare workers at the hospital he went to the first time even question him properly (An African man showing up sick who came from a virus plagued area of Africa….hmm…red flags…but obviously these questions were not asked the first time around).

Read Matthew Ch 24. Read Revelation Ch 10.

I will openly say that america has violated TORAH for far too long and is now under judgement. And keep in mind, we have a second blood moon arriving on Sukkot.

That does raise an interesting point, if Ebola is only contagious by bodily fluids. Most people will assume that (similar to HIV), you can only get it by contact with blood, urine, saliva, etc. That would make receiving the virus very difficult, unless if you had a blood transfusion, sexual encounter with someone infected, etc.

But what about sneezing? This is NOT the case with HIV, but what if someone with the Ebola virus sneezed in a closed space, say an airplane cabin? Has the medical community totally eliminated that possibility? And one other thing to consider – such a disease could easily spread like wildfire in an elementary school environment. We all know how clean and hygienic young kids are…

There’s already been a second confirmed case in Dallas of someone who caught Ebola from this man. Africa needs to get it together quick.

Patient arrives at Dallas hospital with symptoms and informs the staff he just flew in from Liberia a few days ago. Sent home with some antibiotics and a smile. Comes back two days later and the head smackers have their aha moment — egad! It’s Ebola! CDC says there is nothing to worry about. Secret service assures there will be no more of that invading the White House stuff by angry nut jobs. Muslim beheadings in Oklahoma are only more of that darn workplace violence. The IRS has such bad luck with all those computer glitches and lost emails. Don’t worry ISIS / L is only the JV team. We’ll pay off that $17 trillion debt as soon as fast food workers start paying taxes on that new $15 / hr. minimum wage. Hungry kids will all be healthier and better able to learn after throwing their healthful school lunches into the trash. It’s OK, when they get home there’s plenty of soda and chips courtesy of the EBT. On, and on. . . How much more evidence do we need that the country isn’t in very capable hands?

I’m rooting for a ridiculously cold, but sunny winter, to kill the bug. Ebola doesn’t have those conditions in central Africa.

However I sitting on the fence between conspiracy and incompetence. Some days I think its definitely a conspiracy due to all our elite preaching the wonders of depopulation. Then there is the part of me that watch really successful yuppies invade the old farming community, only to discover they are incredibly ignorant outside there expertise. And I’m being generous on their expertise. One thing about this blog it expose the many failings of the American professional class. Now that Ebola is here, which do I hope is true – incompetence or conspiracy?

I think people are freaking out over nothing. If Ebola was airborne as I have stated in a prior post the number of infected by now would be in the hundreds of millions the dead in the tens of millions. West Africa would have been depopulated, Enola would be all over the world, and things would be starting to collapse. The reason Ebola is spreading is because that part of Africa has no public health system, the medical systems are ramshackle, people routinely handle the bodies of loved ones for burial. The virus has spawned conspiracy theories, panic, and some people are taking advantage of a bad situation to push cures that don’t work. Relax guys remember

The Ebola virus does not have to circulate widely to cause panic. Panic could stop commercial trucking, causing an interruption in supplies of food and fuel. I’d say a couple hundred cases would be about enough.

Today quoting from scriptures is not going to help us.
Scriptures have undergone lot of changes. But what we need to do today is to recognize that each of us has a God in us
as Jesus Christ said , and we need to move away from
materialism to spiritualism through communion with our
own soul. Unless we do this, as the dictum of the Universe
all catastrophic events including Ebola-like disease will
    continue to haunt us.
All our arguments on every issue will not lead us anywhere.
That the world is changing is beyond our comprehension now
because we cannot dispense with our pet theories and thoughts! L Let us learn to be humble to learn more and more
of what needs to be done to avert all catastrophic events
    world over.
Unless we exert ourselves now to know who God is and
what He desires us to do, we will be groping in the dark.
Let us stretch our imagination a whit on Ebola in USA.
Human psyche and technological advancement are not the

In Liberia & other African countries, they do spend a lot of time pizzing & shizzing out in the open, wading knee-high through floods of raw sewage and assorted other icky rather unhygienic behaviors. Perhaps we can escape the fate of these unfortunate people.

    Dear Michael,
Quoting from scriptures is not going to help us. Meditation is
the only survival tool if it is believed or not. We are living today
only because of soul, God in each one of us. Now soul is the
sole determinant of our life. As I said earlier, catastrophic events will continue until we meditate. Rather than focusing’
on many issues that are of no relevance, focus on
meditation is very important if we desire to avert more
    calamities and catastrophes.
You are reporting only on what is happening in America . Floods are all over the world destroying houses and crops
It is also reported that Ebola patients are getting treatment
    in Nebraska!.

“It’s very difficult at this stage to even give accurate figures on the number of children who are dying from Ebola, as monitoring systems cannot keep pace with the outbreak.”
Our education is poor to comprehend the cosmic communication that comes in various shapes and sizes.
Until we realize the truth that we will not accept now,
millions will have left this world!. In UN refugee camps Sudan,
people are sleeping while standing due to heavy floods.
Shelters and toilets have been washed away.

I actually assumed that normal government protocol would prohibit any persons traveling back to the US where travel originated from one of the affected West African Countries. I really thought this was elementary. Isn’t this like Epidemiology 101 ?

    • Orange Jean

Yes, and unfortunately the powers that be in the US are acting really foolish about this. I’m guessing… PC at it’s very worse. They don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings by admitting it’s out of Africa. Similar to acting like ISIS has nothing to do with Islam.
