Economic Collapse Is Erupting All Over The Planet As Global Leaders Begin To Panic

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

Earth Ready To Explode - Public DomainMainstream news outlets are already starting to use the phrase “economic collapse” to describe what is going on in some areas of our world right now.  For many Americans this may seem a bit strange, but the truth is that the worldwide economic slowdown that began during the second half of last year is starting to get a lot worse.  In this article, we are going to examine evidence of this from South America, Europe, Asia and North America.  Once we are done, it should be obvious that there is absolutely no reason to be optimistic about the direction of the global economy right now.  The warnings of so many prominent experts are now becoming a reality, and what we have witnessed so far are just the early chapters of a crushing economic crisis that will affect every man, woman and child in the entire world.

Let’s start with Brazil.  It has the 7th largest economy on the entire planet, and it is already enduring its worst recession in 25 years.  In fact, at the end of last year Goldman Sachs said that what was going on down there was actually a “depression“.

But now the crisis in Brazil has escalated significantly.

I want to share with you an excerpt from a recent article entitled “Brazil: Economic collapse worse than feared“.  I know, that title sounds like it comes directly from The Economic Collapse Blog, but I didn’t write it.

It actually comes from CNN

Amid political chaos, Brazil’s economic collapse is worse than its government once believed.

In the midst of rising calls to impeach President Dilma Rousseff, Brazil’s central bank announced Thursday that it now expects the country’s economy to shrink 3.5% this year.

That’s worse than the central bank’s previous estimate for a 1.9% contraction. The darker forecast matches what the International Monetary Fund projected for Brazil — Latin America’s largest country — and what many independent economists have suspected.

It is one thing for Michael Snyder to tell you that Brazil is in the midst of “economic collapse”, but it is another thing entirely for CNN to say it.

And of course I have been warning about the crisis down in Brazil for quite some time now.  For much more on this, please see my previous article entitled “The Economic Collapse Of South America Is Well Underway“.

Meanwhile, things are actually much worse in Venezuela than they are in Brazil.  Food and basic supplies are in short supply, the inflation rate has hit 720 percent, and crime is completely out of control.

The following is from an article in the Independent entitled “Venezuela is on the brink of complete economic collapse“…

The only question now is whether Venezuela’s government or economy will completely collapse first.

The key word there is “completely.” Both are well into their death throes. Indeed, Venezuela’s ruling party just lost congressional elections that gave the opposition a veto-proof majority, and it’s hard to see that getting any better for them any time soon — or ever.

Incumbents, after all, don’t tend to do too well when, according to the International Monetary Fund, their economy shrinks 10 percent one year, an additional 6 percent the next, and inflation explodes to 720 percent. It’s no wonder, then, that markets expect Venezuela to default on its debt in the very near future. The country is basically bankrupt.

Once again we see a very respected mainstream publication using the phrase “economic collapse” to describe what is happening in South America.

You can find some stunning video of the “economic Armageddon” that is taking place in Venezuela right here.  I would encourage you to watch that video, because what is happening down there will eventually be happening here.

Meanwhile, over in Europe the collapse of the Italian banking system has entered a disturbing new chapter.  Italy’s finance minister has called a meeting in Rome for Monday that will be focusing on a “last resort” bailout plan for the troubled banks…

Finance minister Pier Carlo Padoan has called a meeting in Rome on Monday with executives from Italy’s largest financial institutions to agree final details of a “last resort” bailout plan.

Yet on the eve of that gathering, concerns remain as to whether the plan will be sufficient to ringfence the weakest of Italy’s large banks, Monte dei Paschi di Siena, from contagion, according to people involved in the talks.

Italian bank shares have lost almost half their value so far this year amid investor worries over a €360bn pile of non-performing loans — equivalent to about a fifth of GDP. Lenders’ profitability has been hit by a crippling three-year recession.

As Italy descends into financial chaos, the rest of the continent better be paying attention.

Do you remember how hard it was for the rest of Europe to rescue Greece?

Well, Greece has the 44th largest economy on the planet.

Italy has the 8th.

It would be hard to overstate the seriousness of what is going on over in Europe, and it is not just Italy we are talking about.  All over the continent major banks are in deep trouble, and the chairman of France’s second largest  retail bank recently told reporters that “I am much more worried than I was in 2009“.

And there is very good reason for concern.  On Sunday, we learned that a major “bail-in” had just been announced for one of Austria’s most prominent banks.  The following comes from Zero Hedge

And then today, following a decision by the Austrian Banking Regulator, the Finanzmarktaufsicht or Financial Market Authority, Austria officially became the first European country to use a new law under the framework imposed by Bank the European Recovery and Resolution Directive to share losses of a failed bank with senior creditors as it slashed the value of debt owed by Heta Asset Resolution AG.

The highlights from the announcement:

Today, the Austrian Financial Market Authority (FMA) in its function as the resolution authority pursuant to the Bank Recovery and Resolution Act (BaSAG – Bundesgesetz über die Sanierung und Abwicklung von Banken) has issued the key features for the further steps for the resolution of HETA ASSET RESOLUTION AG. The most significant measures are:

  • a 100% bail-in for all subordinated liabilities,
  • a 53.98% bail-in, resulting in a 46.02% quota, for all eligible preferential liabilities,
  • the cancellation of all interest payments from 01.03.2015, when HETA was placed into resolution pursuant to BaSAG,
  • as well as a harmonisation of the maturities of all eligible liabilities to 31.12.2023.

According to the current resolution plan for HETA, the wind-down process should be concluded by 2020, although the repayment of all claims as well as the legally binding conclusion of all currently outstanding legal disputes will realistically only be concluded by the end of 2023. Only at that point will it be possible to finally distribute the assets and to liquidate the company.

The dominoes are starting to fall in Europe, and I would expect even bigger announcements in the weeks and months to come.

Over in Asia, economic chaos is beginning to prevail as well.

In China, the stock market is already down more than 40 percent from the peak, Chinese exports were down 25.4 percent on a year over year basis in February, and Chinese economic numbers overall have not been this poor since the depths of the last global recession.

At the same time, the Japanese economy is really struggling right now.  As I wrote about the other day, Japanese GDP has shrunk for two out of the last three quarters, we just saw Japanese industrial production experience the biggest one month decline that we have witnessed since the tsunami of 2011, and business sentiment has fallen to a three year low.  The Nikkei has dropped by about 5,000 points from where it was last summer, and some analysts believe that Japanese markets “are being destroyed” due to massive intervention by the Bank of Japan.

Here in the United States, we haven’t been hit quite as hard as the rest of the world just yet, but there are lots of very disturbing warning signs all around us.

At the end of last week, we learned that it is being projected that U.S. GDP will have grown by just 0.1 or 0.2 percent during the first quarter of 2016.  And on Monday corporate earnings reporting season begins, and it is expected to be a very, very bad one.  The following comes from Business Insider

We are about to get confirmation that earnings growth for America’s biggest companies was negative in the first quarter, compared to the same period a year ago.

When aluminum giant Alcoa releases its results on Monday, it will mark the unofficial start of the heaviest reporting season for S&P 500 companies.

The final scoreboard is expected to show a 9.1% earnings drop for the quarter, according to FactSet senior earnings analyst John Butters.

If these projections turn out to be accurate, it will be the fourth quarter in a row of earnings declines.  This is something that we never see outside of a recession.

And for a whole bunch more numbers which indicate that the U.S. economy is in very serious trouble, please see my previous article entitled “19 Facts That Prove Things In America Are Worse Than They Were Six Months Ago“.

Of course I am just another voice in the crowd when it comes to predicting that the U.S. economy is headed for rough times.  For example, just check out what Societe Generale economist Albert Edwards is saying

A tidal wave is coming to the US economy, according to Albert Edwards, and when it crashes it’s going to throw the economy into recession.

…the profit recession facing American corporations is going to lead to a collapse in corporate credit.

“Despite risk assets enjoying a few weeks in the sun our fail-safe recession indicator has stopped flashing amber and turned to red”

He continued:

Whole economy profits never normally fall this deeply without a recession unfolding. And with the US corporate sector up to its eyes in debt, the one asset class to be avoided — even more so than the ridiculously overvalued equity market — is US corporate debt. The economy will surely be swept away by a tidal wave of corporate default.

As you can see, it isn’t just one nation or one region of the world that we need to be concerned about.

Economic chaos is erupting literally all over the planet, and global leaders are starting to panic.

Unfortunately, they have had seven years to try to fix things since the last global recession, and they didn’t get the job done.  Anyone that believes that by some miracle they will be able to pull us out of the fire this time and that everything will somehow be okay is simply engaged in wishful thinking.

I bought 18 artichoke seeds for $3.00 and have 18 plants. Artichokes cost $2.87, nice return. It got me thinking about how as a kid a quarter could buy 25 squirrel nut zippers. Now it would cost $3.75 to do the same. In 1963 a quarter was 90% silver though. Know how much a 1963 quarter cost now? You guessed it $3.75 and can still get you 25 squirrel nut zippers. Debt and the inflation it brings is the tax payed by rich and poor alike.

And all is swell in the USA—people in Colorado don’t even have to vote for their delegates. Yup, they are chosen for them. It won’t be long and your religion will be chosen for you along with–and,— etc.

1776 2.0 – Old Navy says bank on it! No prepper talk, no talk at all, we need to just show up in DC and physically start dragging every last one of them out and caging them.

      • Rick

I do believe it’s now coming down to that, not just here, but all over the world. Politicians of every shape, size, and color, and from every party, and at every level should be very afraid these days. And by the way, it doesn’t stop there, as every Wallstreet tycoon in bed with the bastards should also be caged. So Georgie boy Soros and Georgie boys Bush, time to face the music. Let’s see, which side would you choose, 7 billion angry starving people, or about 10,000 upper echilon elites. They better have a very good hiding spot for this round of hide and seek. Oh by the way, of course this goes for the Clinton clan also, didn’t want to only single out the Bushes.

        • mattwm

And you didn’t mention Obama, the source for our own economic problems. Liberals socialism is always bad, no matter who embraces it.

          • Fleming_007

Obama is just a puppet. Not saying he’s innocent but he’s not the one pulling all the strings making things worse.

          • Gay Veteran

the source of our economic problems is fascism (the merger of state and corporate powers).

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

            And Spiritual…..

      • Paul Patriot

I agree…..but, you would still have a large population of liberal, progressives, and sheeple who have drank the koolaide given them by the pied piper of propaganda. What we need in America is revival and a changing of thinking and worldview, until that happens, putting all the politicians in cages is still going change anything .

        • Bag the liars’

I sternly disagree. Look at what Iceland did.

They showed up, captured, cuffed, caged all of them in government as well as banking.

Hard Reset – I feel it is our only option left before we are attacked from within again. Now knowing that there are at least 20 missing nuclear munitions from Minot and Dyess AFB from a stealth ordinance swindle in Sept of 2013, the neo-cons are now more desperate than ever. Trump is actually hastening and forcing the hand of those who pulled off nin11 who have never – NEVER been brought to justice.

As the example of 1776 and now Iceland, they’re thriving without the criminal elite Central bankers and complicit government who aided and abetted their complicit criminality.

It is time to open a frank conversation in support of our mandated duty – RESET –

          In Congress July 4th, 1776 ~

“But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the
same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism,
it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and
to provide new Guards for their future security.”

I am all for being peaceful, but there is ZERO chance we are getting rid of all this corruption and destruction without physically showing up and remanding all branches of government into custody.

The Judicial, the Legislative and the Executive branches along with both party’s as a concept are never going to do the will of the people and stop this massive destruction upon our nation and her suffering people.

It is time to begin this process of exercizing the right of the people to throw off such government and to provide us all with new Guards for all of our future security.

Food security, economic security, job security NATIONAL SECURITY. We have been attacked by our own in NYC01 and they’re about to do it again and this time it will be nuclear.

I am absolutely convinced of this and believe me, Old Navy takes none of this lightly. Attention should be paid as well as to take steps to remove all areas affected by the criminal elite.

This is not conspiracy talk, this is common frackin sense in it’s most simple of forms.

Enough talk, it’s time to start moving forward with the removal of the apparatus which is destroying and subjugating all of us into the poor slave house financially as well as the ultimate destruction of the peoples will.

Colorado is the last straw for me. I openly advocate that something must be done to remove these people from their levels of power and to replace all of the corrupt guards from now becoming a prison surveillance state USA.

This is not a game any more nor is it about politics, this is about the absolute intentional destruction and lawless criminality of those who lord over all of us who are completely lawless who follow no laws and make it up as they go along.

We are a nation without borders who intentionally breaks the law to support the destruction. I don’t know about you, but that is as bad as it gets. Intentionally letting in disease, filth, murders, rapists, drug pushers, terrorists intentionally, execution must begin for the lawless of this nation.

Apprehension is the first aspect of saving this nation… taking it back from the lawless.

I invoke the Declaration of Independence, it is time.

I take no pleasure in this, I take no pride in this, I take only the heartache of knowing we are in that much trouble as a nation and we must do something.

          • Gay Veteran

            1. seal the borders (NO immigration),

One of the reasons we bailed on Co years ago. All these friggin whack job libtards showing up have turned Co into a first rate Blue State which is now seriously in decline. They brought money sure, but more troubling is the fast paced decline from their mental sickness of progressive liberalism.

    • SunnyFlaSnotress

Yes, election practices are questionable. During Obama’s first primary run, everyone’s Florida Democratic votes were discarded.. unbelievable.

      • Rick

No, I do believe that. People need to start waking up to the fact that whether a primary, or general election, their votes don’t count (unless they are voting for the elite pre chosen candidate). It’s most likely always been this way.

      • mattwm

That is up to the party, not the government. The Democrat Party has always been corrupt in one way or another.

    • Bill

Michael, I do agree with your conclusion and the purpose of starting this blog a few years ago. It’s all about the economic collapse, whether it’s “supported” by economic corruption, political corruption or moral corruption, it is happening.

To those like me who wonder why nothing is done let me offer this:
      1. Those in power use a huge “asset” called corruption through blackmail. They all have something on everyone. Checkmate.
      2. The sheeple if they do organize will either be outmaneuverd by the caucuses or jailed as terrorists. Checkmate again.

      • Bag the liars’

If only 1 percent show up, it will be impossible to stop it. You’d have to use nukes on our own soil or some form of bio weapons to neutralize that number of armed people. A scenario like that is far to big and far too fluid to shut down. Yes many will die, but with the laws of diminishing returns comes victory.

It takes a huge amount of effort and resources to replenish the ranks so to speak. That and from the chatter I hear, huge numbers of military and police will simply go AWOL mate. Bank on that.

I’ve spoken with many LEO’s and military, we will not attack nor savage our own nation, rather we will work to secure the US as as stable environment and work to quell things according to law after, after much of the existing government is apprehended as well as many of the financial leadership. Even at the minimum effect, a huge amount of confidence is restored as people are made aware that much of the leadership has been changed.

Thus the great pause that takes place to calm the nation. I truly think it can operate this simply. Hard reset, target all the needed to be removed individuals who are harming the US and at the least, the confidence will be intact. Iceland did it, look at the results, they cannot be denied.

There is no error in this move. Checkmate… on them, not us. Two million descending on DC in a rapid pincer move within a 48 hour time frame would catch them off guard so fast, they would have absolutely zero ability to respond to that kind of overwhelming force.

Keep it clean, totally professional to the best of abilities, no unauthorized killing and a straight up warrant type of an arrest of hundreds of them all at once, you have the makings of a radically changed world where civilization can take a pause to breath a sigh of relief.

Hold elections within 90 days according to LAW – the key here is to follow the law. Thus restoring the confidence in the law as well as those more importantly who uphold it.

I firmly support the law, our LEO’s and our military and I suspect they will also fall in line as most 99% of us want to do right for our nation and people. We all benefit by this move and more importantly, the world as well.

Some people look at the world and say why and I can’t, some of us see the world and say we can and why not! It’s all a perspective to consider.

I have posted this article on Facebook and it will get zero reads, just like other posts. Either people are to scared to read them, or they just treat them as doom and gloom crazy articles. However, now that the manure is beginning to hit the fan and people are hurting, they might just begin to peek. But I do understand, as long as it doesn’t affect them personally, everything is cool.

    • SunnyFlaSnotress

Maybe your Facebook page just doesn’t attract people?

    • Purple Wings

I have the same experience when I post articles on Facebook. No one wants to bother. They are too busy looking at videos of cute animals and people taking falls from bicycles and eight-year-olds singing songs “perfectly!” Whatever.

      • Annette Smith

I think that people have heard it for so long, and they know it’s coming, they have to have something to distract themselves with. I know I do. Just refocusing my mind on something else is very welcome. No one can really fathom how bad it’s going to be. No one really wants to face that. It’s too horrible.

        • Texasgal416

Just having a distraction and avoiding it is bad. I am trying to do as much as I can to wake up as many people as I can – sharing what I find in information. I have an idea of how bad it is going to be — unlike anything we have EVER seen before or even heard about from our elders. Be praying.

      • BenguluruHuduga

its probably not that they don’t bother. back of the mind it stays. Most people just want to live @ peace with their lives. Such things drain out quite a few people, mentally. Life is short, might as well enjoy it.

    • jor

Negative postings are blocked by automated censoring. Bad news may destabalize economy. Keep a big smile at your positive messages and you will be honored by lots of (automated) reads…

    • Rick

Absolutely correct. How is this going to play out? Will they take bail ins from the working class and get that crowd riled up, or will they kill the seniors by ceasing with social security payouts and get that crowd riled? Guess the latter would be my choice, as they wont pose much of a threat once they all die off right? Or maybe they just ask the Chinese to nuke us all, after they (elites) are either out of the country, or securely tucked away under a mountain somewhere.

      • greanfinisher .

You can be sure that if the big banks need a ‘bail in’, their stooges in Washington D.C. are going to do whatever it takes to prop up those banks (regardless of the ensuing collateral damage). This could involve (but not limited to) confiscating deposits in all financial institutions, IRAs, Roth IRAs, 401Ks, stocks, bonds, public and private pension plans, money market funds, bank CDs and safety deposit boxes.

        • Bob Jones

What about basic savings and checking accounts? I’m trying to keep my money out of the bank except for paying bills.

          • greanfinisher .

Any or all of the deposits in any financial institution (bank, credit union, savings & loan, etc.) would be susceptible to confiscation in the event of a ‘bail in’ of a major bank. Remember, you can be sure that the treasury secretary is going to protect the big banks at all costs, and isn’t going to give a hoot or a holler whether grandma loses her nest egg (if push comes to shove). Hoarding cash at the moment would be desirable, and even holding U.S. government securities ‘might’ be preferrable than holding any sizeable amount in any of those private financial institutions. Most importantly, don’t get caught holding the bag. Keep all of your balances to the bare minimum.

          • Bob Jones

Hey Greanfinisher, thank you for the information. Hoarding cash makes me nervous, as I think about hyperinflation. But, ya gotta keep some amount handy just to keep one’s life moving forward! Best wishes!

          • greanfinisher .

U.S. Series I savings bonds do contain an automatic inflation component which offers some inflation protection.

          • Bob Jones

I strip all my accounts on the day the money drops in.
Question: Any suggestions on how to get around forced direct deposits?
            (paycheck, SS checks, etc)

          • greanfinisher .

If the Social Security recipients have been receiving their checks by mail, they can continue to do so. As far as the payroll check is concerned, not as long as the direct deposit requirement wasn’t a condition of employment.

          • Annette Smith

Social Security prefers that you get their Direct Access government card. There’s no fees connected to having it, or using it. Love it. They’ll get us all on there, sooner or later.

          • greanfinisher .

The card could be what the SSA prefers, but that wouldn’t necessarily coincide with the interests of the recipients.

          • Annette Smith

            Amen! We do this, too!

          • Bob Jones

DEAREST Annette, we don’t really have much choice at this point. We must yank it or lose it.

      • alan

I suspect they will just use the FDIC. If it goes broke they will create money to fill it back up again. Then blame it all on Putin.

    • Gary

I read an article a while back, which was written by a psychologist. In the article, he focused on the unhinging of society. His conclusion was that most people are unwilling to think about the demise of their way of life, because they have no focus for anything if everything they have invested in fails. We have a “normalcy bias” which keeps us considering the coming wobble and crash.

Think about it. You lose your job, your savings and possibly your home. Who you are, if you don’t have a relationship with Christ, consists of those things. If they are taken from you, then who are you? Most people don’t want to go there. They will be lost and panic will set in.

We are creatures of habit. When the walls come crashing down it is going to be physically (and I believe more so emotionally) more than most people will be able to deal with. This will not end well for most people.

However, there is hope. Isaiah 55:6-7 counsels us: “Seek ye the LORD while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.” There is a day coming, soon, when: “They shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it” (Amos 8:12). Please! Do not wait until that day arrives.

The collapse will come, and then the wars. It is significant that Rev. 13:4 first states and then asks the following: “…they worshipped the dragon, because he gave his authority to the beast saying, ‘Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?'”

It seems to imply that he actually wins a war (to bring a false peace?) in such an impressive fashion that many respond by, in essence, saying, “His military power is so great, no one can fight with him!” Doesn’t it? Would the world get behind such a person?

He probably (speculation) destroys a group most wanted destroyed.

Change (chaos) and war are the two weapons used by the NWO to soften up populations so they will fall in line behind the proposal the rulers want to implement.

Personally, I seriously doubt the summer Olympics will take place in Brazil as scheduled even if things don’t get worse. And I kind of suspect they will. I’m also not entirely sure we will have a Presidential election this November.

And some will accidentally spill that half glass of water and instead of crying about it – they’ll just pour themselves another glass.

Good point about how the economy could affect the Olympics, but I’m guessing that security will be beefed up in the proximity.

The central bankers would never allow real chaos to occur. The central bankers have consistently taken policy positions that maximum the total amount of debt on their balance sheets. Once they’ve realize the amount of debt is about to destabilize the entire system, wages will begin to rise. As if my magic and for no reason. Power preserves power above all else.

      • J B

It’s Order from Kaos, you have Kaos when you loose Control.
I think it just needs the right Chief in Control, and this year it will be 99 years since the USA joined WW1.

        • df NJ

I often wondered if the power elite participating in their ritual cults are all designed to centralize power to a single pinnacle. What is power? Power is having choices around how you live you life. When your choices are minimized or controlled you have the least amount of power. Everything in our culture advocates the worshiping of a single authority above all others. Nothing in our culture advocates a fellowship of equals under a rule of law. And there’s just enough house n*g*g*er*s in power to keep the rest of the slaves from organizing a revolt. Bernays propaganda cannot be overcome.

        • watchmannonthewall

The hegelain dialectic works on the order from chaos process. This is exactly what they use. They manage the chaos as long as they can and then decide when to let things go out of control, but they have already worked out the process and set the controls in place they intend to use to bring about the change desired, leaving themselves in charge.

They don’t control the whole thing, just most of it. If they can manage the critical processes they can at least get some of what they want each time. Wash, rinse, repeat! They often get the change they want, even if it takes longer than they hoped.

          • Steeve Girard

They do not manage it, they sail on it. Like any ship, one big wave, and the ship can turn over.

          • watchmannonthewall

They do not allow the wind to blow them in any direction it wishes. Just like on a sail boat one must manage the sails despite the wind to arrive at a predetermined destination, so to do they. Their destination is a figment of their imaginations, believeing that they are capable of creating a utopian world if they can just gain sufficient power to do things the way they want.

The roundtables, orgs like CFR, and others have all been set up to not only identify trends but to manage the development of those as much as possible, by getting out in front of them and bringing them to the attention of the ‘movers and shakers”, while trial balloning possible solutions through position papers, “white paper” research and the like.

They have bought and paid for the loyalty of many politicans and leaders of industry and in fact they are the influencers (managers, handlers though third or even fourth parties) of those who “appear” to make decisions but really their choices are limited to only those presented to to them by the same influencers. I don’t accept they are going in whatever direction the wind is blowing but rather they are the ocean liner who may be influenced by huge storms but still manage to remain pointed in the direction they want to go.

I also believe Scripture indicates the end point of their choices and the ONLY wind that will capsize them is the return of Messiah. “Except those days be shortened, no flesh would remain!” Meaning, they are willing to destroy everything in order to remain in power! God, however, cuts their plans short.

      • Steeve Girard

They cannot change Wyrd, they will eventually fail. Wyrd is the sum of all little bits of chaos created by every pieces of energy, matter and Will in the whole universe. It’s a vast sea, and while it can be sail, it cannot be controlled.

it’s because America has the very best Financial Market Manipulators on the Planet (Cookin the books) with a Federal Reserve printing money into oblivion to keep it propped up.
right after new years we had a major market correction as reality has to meet fiction sooner or later and we have rebound since. Markets are now closer to reality than they were then because of this forced involuntary correction that was going to happen sooner or later. problem is next time the Market crashes like in January it will get worse every time we drift further & further away from reality.

So why is the Fed holding an emergency “Expodited Procedures” meeting today, and why are Obama and the veep meeting with Yellen in private after that meeting today? Is it time to start withdrawing our money from all accounts? 401ks included? Are we on the brink of negative interestest rates, or even bail ins as talked about in Austria? Or is the Fed signaling its time to go to war with someone? Pre-game warm ups are over folks, time to get serious.

    • df NJ

Give everyone making less than $100,000 per year a one year 100% federal tax holiday paid by the Fed. That would get the economy going again! Nothing like a little jump start to get the blood flowing through the veins again. What this economy lacks is consumers with money to buy stuff. Inflation (caused by consumer demand) is non-existent for almost 20 years now.

      • AzDi

    • watchmannonthewall

Whenever there is a newsworthy risk event. like an emergency meeting of the FED, or the FED chair meeting the US leader, the markets go into orbit, at least at first. That way, when they come back down they can end unchanged or slightly lower instead of dragging everything lower from the get go, as would happen in unmanipulated markets, and result in margin calls.

Using 17th and 18th Century Economic “laws”, when gold was money, DO NOT apply to 20th Century economies when “we” can issue unlimited credit.

Supply and Demand Laws only work when Supply (products) have to be made and Demand (gold) is limited by nature.

Today, all debts, based on “legal tender” can be altered in any fashion, since “legal tender” is unlimited. Our leaders can order all % rates to 0 on all auto, credit card and home loans. This will free up incredible demand from the consumers. Loans can be extended at will.

Since there are no real depositors with any money at risk in banks today (banks issue their own credits when a loan is taken out), we really do not have to worry about bankrupt depositors or insolvent Banks. Banks can be issued additional credit, unlimited, from Central Banks.

The only down side to this is “inflation”, but, if kept under 10%, can easily be managed by a society.

There is way too much fear and “end of the world” hype. The problem with Venezuela is the COMMUNIST style of government that won’t allow the people to produce, import or export. There will always be shortages when the Government WANTS shortages so as to control the population. Shortages are not the result of economics, but of Political action/inaction.

There is no vast pools of oil in holding bins equal to a fixed percentage of the amount of dollars in circulation.

Gold backed dollars had a certain/fixed percentage of gold/dollar ratio maintained at ft Knox backing the dollar. And countries could turn in their USA dollars for an equal amount of Gold. Charles DeGaulle did this and broke the back…he called the bluff and Nixon took us off the Gold Standard. that is when the USA went broke.

Our fiat currency The Dollar is backed by air…..and the DEBT that the USA owes the world will fall on the backs of “WE THE STUPID”

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

The real question is how many barrels of oil does one oz. of gold buy…..and how long before a PetroGold standard is established….

    • Steeve Girard

If the whole of China would adopt the American way in 1 instant… there would not be anymore oil, and economic collapse and energy collapse would happen within a few hours. Imagine the whole world.
Currently we need 4 Earths to maintain the current population and lifestyles… we cannot ask more, without more sources of energy.

      • Michael Daush

The thorium nuclear reactors are awesome. GE designed a nuclear reactor 50 years ago that reduced the uranium to ash you could sleep in. Unfortunately, our powers that be wanted the uranium for bombs so they were not allowed to design that reactor.
I am in energy saving and we can reduce the energy draw in homes by 40% with less than a three year ROI.
Natural gas is everywhere and the new solar panels by Solar One are efficient enough to fuel a car for local driving. And don’t forget that there are currently cars designed to run on hydrogen which is WATER. If the car companies and oil barons would get out of the way, all of this would become available.

        • Steeve Girard

Thorium reactors will have to be approved for those things before becoming in use: Resistant to Tsunamis, Earthquakes, Flooding, Hurricanes, Tornadoes, Meteor Strikes and of course, Environmental control of the salt. The Thorium salt is incompatible with life (Th+4 – 4F-1).
Natural gas is following a degradation curve similar to fracking gas, at the current rate of extraction an consomption, useful stocks will have marginal stocks for 120 years. But the useful stock (see EROEI), it can be very short, as the other fuels become more sparse, and the population keeps booming. So do not expect as a solution but rather as a transition fuel.
Hydrogen requires a mass energy investment to be chemically produce for mass use. (Negative EROEI)
The way to go is indeed a combination of Wind power, Photo-voltaic arrays, Solar concentrators and Hydro power.

Ask the IMF? Would there be a global TARP to rescue us? Because believe me, America would be very troubled, and our assets would need some major league relief. No, it wouldn’t work for us. GM and Chrysler is one thing. An entire country is a whole ‘nother matter.

    • Barry Goldwater

In answer to your question that event would trigger the IMF and the use of SDR’s ( Special Drawing Rights ) and I would venture to say such an event will usher in the long awaited Global financial system replacing currencies with a singular monetary unit. The apparatus is now in place only the justifications are needed.

      • Maddog

And the end of the dollar as the reserve currency will do what to America?

        • Creepy Pedro

          An SDR will accompany it.

        • Barry Goldwater

In the events described there will no longer be a reserve currency. A global monetary unit eliminates the need for reserve currencies by it’s very nature. The value of the Global unit is the same in US as it is Korea, Europe or anywhere else. Everyone would be operating with the same unit of exchange.

          • Maddog

True. This will result in the standard of living in the US to become the same as the rest of the world in theory. a worsening of the Great Recession won’t be an “Apocalypse” but it won’t be enjoyable either

  • BKevsta

I love reading this site. But I avoid the comments section usually. Specifically because of useless woman like SunnyFlaSnotress that seem to have the need to comment on everything (TROLL). People like her are the reason comment sections are disappearing all over the web. Either Discus needs to come up with the ability to ignore certain users soon. Or Discus will soon be a thing of the past….

Free speech in your mind is problematic? You shall have no problem remaining in the yellow submarine =)

    • Harry Merkin

Even trolls have freedom of speech. You may not like her posts but we live in America. You are free to not read her posts. I have ignored them for many a moon now.

    • Jerry C

I just learned to skip over her posts; saves me time & a headache. There’s a good reason for her avatar being a vampire I reckon.

    • Gay Veteran

      is SunnyFlaSnotress a women???

  • GetReal4U2

Economic chaos is erupting literally all over the planet, and global leaders are starting to panic…
Don’t worry…a new “person” is about to come on the scene…

    • Jacynthia Read

Yep, and I am expecting him this fall on one of the High Holy Days of the Jewish calendar. When he signs the seven year peace treaty with Israel, then we will know his identity.

      • watchmannonthewall

Though I understand what you are saying, I am unwilling to accept the Bible editors translation of the Daniel 9:25-27 passage, and specifically verse 27, which includes the passage about the 7 year treaty. It is possible, but far wiser and learned men than I have written entire books on the original text of this passage, and traced the historical development of thought regarding it, yet many do not agree among themselves as to its translation and application.

This may be another prophesy passage we will look back at after it has been fulfilled and realize we could never have figured out how God was going to fulfill it. We may not translate it properly until then either!

      Are you referring to ALWAYSTOMORROW?

  • …the economic collapse will come when GOVERNMENT MOTORS declares bankruptcy without American government assistance!…until then, everything is just HUNKY DORY!

  • ComeOn1

Everything is great. Just ask a Democrat.

  • Goon E. Googoo

This is exactly what the banks and the globalists want. Prove to the people of the world that governments can’t manage anything and bring on a planetary control of money which the people will be begging to accept even if it means enslavement.

  • BlackJack77

This has been planned all along. The monetary system is DESIGNED to collapse and impoverished all but the elite. The collapse is how they will get everyone poor and therefore dependent on the government. THEN they can REALLY enslave us and exterminate us. Then they can bring in their Agenda 21/ Hunger Games world, exactly as planned.

    • Bill G Wilminton NC

YES, the collapse is by DESIGN and coming soon…. then New World Order…..the dem and repub establishment “traitors” put us here in this position.

Vote Trump the only one who is not part of this traitorous cabal !.

  • Spiritof76Revisited

That’s why people should be preparing for the worst. IT WILL happen sooner, rather than later.

  • Larry the Freight Guy!

Yes, the storm clouds seem a little closer on the horizon now… And, it’s just not in the US of A, it’s all over the globe. Good paying jobs are continuously harder to find, hours/overtime is harder to get, benefits are being cut or dropped. Inflation is rampant for food and disposable items. This cannot be sustainable for too much longer without some sort of “Reset” or “Debt Jubilee”. It’s not hard to see if you look in the right places but many decide to bury their head in the sand…

  • Gillettestevens

The economic crisis and looming inflation should be constantly on the minds of voters these days. Instead they waste time scrutinizing the personalities of the candidates, rather than their skill set. Sanders isn’t a criminal like Hillary, he is a decent guy, but he wants to increase taxes on a shrinking worker class already over-burdened. That is a recipe for disaster. I don’t have a Facebook account, and never have had, but from what I see people check in for light and frothy feel-good nonsense. Bringing anything that requires more than a quick up/down vote is ignored.

    • Gay Veteran

and how much money for the Pentagon did Sanders oppose?

  • nekksys

I’m just gonna keep stacking “precious” metals… You know which ones; the kind that puts food on the table and keeps intruders at bay…

  • abinico

OK, I’ll bite. So how much will you charge to give me the secret how to be safe during yet another catastrophic economic collapse?

  • M2D

I can’t say much about the coming collapse but if you eat a bankster when it hits then there will never be another one

  • J.j. Cintia

Well it looks like we are finally seeing the benefits of diversity. Oh all that racism from the past is over and the baton has been passed to a whole new people. Thank goodness colonialism and all that Monroe Doctrine Imperialism is gone so we can see the benefits of the New World Order all too clearly.

Soon as the belivers are taken from the earth to be with Jesus for 7 years Jesus will pour out his wrath on the earth for 7 years. Satan will have control of the earth for last 3 1/2 years and the one world government will have control for the first 3 1/2 years of the 7 year period. As soon as the belivers are gone all hell will break loose. the anti Christ will come on the seen along with the pope the false profit and claim the will fix all the problems. It will appear they did this for 3 1/2 years but as soon as Satan takes over in the middle of the 7 years he will require that every one take the mark or a bio metric chip in the right hand or the fore head in order to buy sell or trade in the system, if not you will go to the gilatine and your head will be cut off. What your seeing now is all countries that are going to go broke massive riots and people dying in the streets for food paper money won’t be worth anything. Gold and old will be the currency of the day. There is still time to except Jesus Christ as lord and savior and you will not go through what is about to happen on the earth. If you choose not to give your life to except Jesus as lord and savior the you will see all the things that are to happen I would say good luck.

tbh I’m kind of tired of waiting for the final shoe to drop. It’s like it’s been coming down the road for several years now and I just really want to get it over with already. I’m done with the dangling carrots every other month. If memory serves, Argentina experienced something similar to Venezuela’s current situation a few years back, and it seems to have held up alright.

  • MaxRockatansky33

Meanwhile the Wall Street Casino is rolling towards new highs. Such a fake delusion made by greedy corporats and leeches. This ponzi scheme never stops…

A few years ago God told me to tell the Chinese Government that God will treat China exactly how her government treats Christians there. He said if they strain the necks of Christians ( a form of punishment ) God will strain China. He will strain their environment and economy. If they execute Christians, he will destroy their regime. He said they had to listen but because they would not heed him then surely these things would happen.
Let me just add a long time ago God told Abraham that if anyone blessed him that person would be blessed and if he cursed him he would be cursed. Christians too are heirs of that promise.
