Do you ever get to the point where you are just fed up with the way that things are headed?  There are times when it seems as if we are all stuck in some kind of horrific nightmare that we can’t wake up from.  Day after day we get the privilege of watching our esteemed leaders down in Washington D.C. wreck the U.S. economy, push us towards socialism and globalism, and slowly erode our constitutional freedoms.  Day after day we get the privilege of watching corruption and greed run wild down on Wall Street.  Day after day those of us who are awake to what is going on find ourselves increasingly frustrated with the vast majority of Americans who are either too dazed, too drugged or too asleep to even care that the great nation that their forefathers built is in the process of crumbling all around them.  Not that there aren’t some promising signs out there.  Certainly Rand Paul’s recent victory in Kentucky shows that the American people are not automatically going to vote for the candidates backed by the establishment anymore.  But it seems like every piece of good news these days is accompanied by a dozen news stories that are so bad that they make you want to scream.  It is incredibly frustrating that tens of millions of Americans who bust their backs working incredibly long hours, who try to do what is right, and who truly do love their country are going to pay the price for the errors of a bunch of idiots down in Washington D.C. and New York.  The America that so many of us grew up in love with (the once great Republic with the greatest free enterprise system in the world) is being strangled out of existence by a horde of globalists, socialists and elitists.  Well, there are millions of us who are fed up.  I am fed up.  So today you are going to get an “editorial”.  Actually what you are going to get is an old-fashioned rant.  But the truth is that we live during times when ranting is appropriate.  Feel free to express your agreement or disagreement with the various things I am going to rant about below.  Hopefully if enough people start talking about these things, the American people will wake up and start taking their country back.

So exactly what am I fed up about?   

I’m fed up with politicians in Washington D.C. who prance around and talk about what a good job they are doing while they pile up the biggest debt in the history of the world.  We are stealing trillions of dollars from future generations, and if they get the chance they will curse us for the horrific debt that we have left them. 

I’m fed up with an unelected, privately-owned central bank issuing and controlling the currency of the United States.  Nobody but the U.S. government should be issuing U.S. dollars.  The reality is that the Federal Reserve is about as “federal” as Federal Express is, and the international bankers have used it for decades to transfer the wealth of the nation into their own pockets.

I’m fed up with being told that the money I have worked so hard to earn needs to be “redistributed” to people who wouldn’t know a hard day of work if it came up and bit them on the rear.

I’m fed up with Tea Party activists who believe in the Constitution and who desperately want to see a return to the ideals that the American republic was founded upon being labeled as “extremists” by the media while those who are pushing a socialism and globalism on America are referred to as “centrist” and “mainstream”.

I’m fed up with anyone who suggests that it is a good idea for the government to get to look at an image of our naked bodies before we are allowed to get on an airplane.

I’m fed up with hearing that there are banks that are “too big to fail” and that it is necessary for tax money taken from me to be used to bail them out.

I’m fed up with a financial system that is so rigged that four of the biggest U.S. banks (Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, Bank of America and Citigroup) can have a “perfect quarter” with zero days of trading losses during the first quarter of 2010.

I’m fed up with a financial system where the Dow can plunge nearly 1000 points in a single hour and nobody can seem to be able to figure out what happened.

I’m fed up with being told that I need to reduce my “carbon footprint” when carbon dioxide does not cause global warming and over 95% of total carbon dioxide emissions would occur even if humans were not present on Earth.

I’m fed up with people telling me that we should be glad to pay all the new taxes in the “health care reform” law because socialized medicine is such a good idea.   

I’m fed up with the open manipulation of the gold and silver markets right under the noses of the federal government.

I’m fed up with politicians that spend money in order to get votes without any concern for the financial future of this nation whatsoever.

I’m fed up with a government that can protect the South Korean border so well that not a single person gets through illegally for decades, and yet has done such a bad job of protecting our own border that Phoenix, Arizona has become the car theft capital of the world.

I’m fed up with a government that is so embarrassed by the recent anti-illegal immigration law passed in Arizona that they apologize to the communist Chinese for it.

I’m fed up with yuppies who went out and bought McMansions that they could not possibly afford whining and crying now that they are losing their houses.

I’m fed up with politicians shipping our manufacturing base to the third world and then pretending that it is our fault when we can’t get jobs.

I’m fed up with people telling me how wonderful “free trade” and “the global economy” are while our once great manufacturing cities such as Detroit turn into rusted-out war zones.

I’m fed up with international organizations such as the IMF and the WHO telling us that they want the American people to start paying global taxes.

I’m fed up with politicians being treated like celebrities and rock stars when they are actually leading American right into the toilet.

I’m fed up with a president and a Congress that are rapidly dismantling the strategic nuclear arsenal that has helped keep America safe for decades.

I’m fed up with politicians who run over to China and beg them to keep buying even more of our debt.

I’m fed up with the United Nations and members of the U.S. government claiming that there are far too many people in the world and that we need to promote population control measures all over the globe.

I’m fed up with a Supreme Court that has absolutely no respect at all for the personal property rights of ordinary Americans.

I’m fed up with a government that insists that freakishly-altered genetically modified crops are good for us, and that allows companies like Monsanto to ruthlessly push these “Frankenfoods” on to dinner tables all across the United States.

I’m fed up with a public that is far more interested in the death of Michael Jackson and in what is going on with Jon & Kate than in the absolutely crucial economic and political issues that directly affect them and their families. 

I’m fed up with a government that is so incompetent when it comes to foreign policy that Russia and China are literally running circles around them.

I’m fed up with a government that allows nearly a million innocent babies to be killed year in and year out.

I’m fed up with watching Wall Street bankers rake in record-setting bonuses while nearly 40 million Americans are on food stamps.

I’m fed up with a national debt that is impossible to pay off, a dollar that has lost over 95 percent of its value since the Federal Reserve was created and a financial system that is designed to fail.

    I’m fed up with the globalists and the big banks always screwing with the price of gold and silver. And Im really fed up with obama continuosly embarassing me. Seeing him let the mexican dictator complain about az d not defending us but instead cheering him on made me want to puke. How can the American citizens put up with this type of crap any longer? I live in the northwest and we are swamped with illegals who don’t speak english, drive drunk bankrupt hospitals,kill people rest. I can only imagine how bad it is in arizona. And that s.o.b calderon came on our soil and went to congress saying awful things and he was cheered.

    I’m fed up with government agencies (like the school system) constantly blaming their incompetence on “lack of funding,” when government employees are making much more than people in the private industry,with more perks.

    I’m fed up with government officials telling me my electric bill is going to have to double when they’re living in 8000 sq.ft. mansions and driving around fleets of armored SUVs that my tax money paid for.

    I’m fed up because Blue Cross jacked up my health insurance today because of “health care reform” that was supposed to help out the little guy and make health care more “affordable!” What a joke!!!

    I can’t add anything except that you are one of the smartest people online. Maybe when 2012 comes we can at least start some improvement.
    Question: If most of the U.S debt is owed to ourselves why can’t we not count only foreign debt and forget about paying ourselves back?

      Actually the debt is not owed to ourselves. The U.S. government does not ever borrow from the U.S. government.

      The Federal Reserve is a completely distinct entity from the U.S. government and when we borrow money from them or from anyone else they expect to be paid back.

      If the U.S. government did actually have sovereign control over the U.S. dollar, then we could borrow from ourselves, but under the system we have now that is not possible.

    first of all..i’m tired of actors and rockstars being treated like politicians both are dumbasses one gets elected and becomes an expert and the other collects endorsement and becomes and expert but in reality they are still just dumbasses like the rest of us….i guess fame and or power gives them that over us…but it is only because we give it to them…being a member of the labor union,(piledrivers local 2396) i get tired of people using the word socialist when they really mean fascist if you will study labor history,you will see that labor brought you the 8 hr work day a living wage a minimum wage for that matter…the weekend.Holidays,and public schools(carpenters not teachers.teachers union came way later)sorry about Michael Jackson he was just another entertainer nothing more nothing less…never really did anything for another american…I’m also tired of those who don’t love a appreciate the Bill of Rights…all we need is the first 10 you know the original…the rest of it is all about bull**** and overpaid politicians…as for health care,if the politicians and or the bankers they would give us the same health care they got…more later on this maybe…right now i’m mad as hell….with respect and solidarity,Skip

    I’m fed up with NOBODY being indicted or prosecuted in the financial industry (banks, mortgage companies, ratings agencies, appraisers, etc.) for any of the massive fraud that has been carried out in the last decade.

    I’m fed up with the Fed buying trillions of dollars of crap (e.g. Red Roof Inn) and putting in the shoulders of the US tax payers.

    I’m fed up with a disasterous war (or occupation) of Afghanistan where there seems to be no comprehensible strategy of any kind.

    I’m fed up with a $1T defense budget which seems to increase every year.

    I’m fed up with unions, especially government unions, who receive tremendous benefits and pay, and then whine when they may take a trivial one or two percent cut. (50% would be more reasonable.)

    I’m fed up with politicians who refuse to listen to and heed the advice of people like William Black and Elizabeth Warren.

    I’m fed up with the MSM running interference for DC and Wall Street.

    I’m fed up with the lawyers who are ruining the US. Lawyers are making common sense illegal.

    I’m fed up with the victim attitude of so many people. Nobody is responsible for anything anymore.

    I’m fed up with the continual destruction of the rule of law by Wall Street and the US Government.

    I’am beyond fed up. I’am saddened by what has happened. I spent years fighting the enviromentilist against the timber industry, farming, and ranching. With nothing to show for the fight. It’s a day to day thing if I will still be able to support my family. Are jobs have been sent over seas, imports are running me out of work. Sure I could go back to school and learn a new carrer. But doing what? America as we knew it is gone. All we can do know is prepare for the biggest collapse anybody has ever sean. Rome failed and so shall we. The only bright spot is all the wealthy will now be on the bottom of the pecking order. They don’t know how to survive with nothing. And they are not prepared to survie, or even know how to survive. We have to put are faith and trust in God. He will show us the way if we give are life to him.

    First of all, I like this blog a lot and have been following it for a while now, BUT

    With this editorial rant you’ve pushed me away as a reader, a great bit.

    Even though I agree with you on a lot of things, just dismissing global warming on basis of some random article, your approval of nuclear weapons as safety (which is no safety at all) and bashing of public health care, which works pretty damn well here in Denmark, has somewhat lowered my regard of your articles.

    You got a lot of stuff right, but to me, you’re clearly in the wrong on these points.

    Besides that, keep up the good work 🙂

      Debate is a very good thing. I have had my mind changed on a lot of things over the years. Hopefully we can all continue to learn from one another.

    All I can say is I totally agree. Now the question is: What can we do to solve the problem? What is the problem?

    There are a couple of problems. First, we have self-interested, thieving, money-grubbing representatives in our government, not at all interested in what’s best for “we the people”. Why are they there? That’s the second problem. Many Americans don’t vote, or vote blindly for “a Democrat or a Republican”. Most Americans don’t even understand how the government is supposed to work.

    Maybe if we take some of our anger, and use the energy constructively, we might come up with workable ideas to solve the problems:

    1) Americans need to understand how government works, and learn what the Constitution says.

    2) Large numbers of Americans need to start voting, and do so intelligently, not just picking “a Republican or a Democrat”. Voters need to look at what a person actually stands for, and look at their record if they held an elected office in the past.

    I hope we can all think about this a bit and come up with ideas how to reach our fellow Americans to resolve this horrible situation. There are some pretty sharp people here, so maybe there’s hope…

    I am fed up that it is so obvious now that we are so deeply entrenched in a system that is on all fronts,corrupt,broke and manipulative.Fed up to where the illusion of division is so deeply seeded in left vs.right{really it is the state vs, you},that is almost impossible to wake the sleeping infotainment junkies from that fixed belief.I see the slave/police state mentality growing in a cancerous fashion and fear that we have already gone to far.I am fed up of supposed freedoms{an example} your social security card:Think of all the things you need it for,employment,loans{mortgage,car…} credit cards,utilities…now turn it over and read the first sentence.

  • Excellent article, you touch on many important points. What really gets me is why don’t we read about The Fed and the deficit in main stream media. Today I read piece by Paul Krugman in the NY Times saying we weren’t spending enough! We should go more in debt, he said, or we would wind up like Japan. This man won the Nobel Prize for Economics. I don’t like conspiracy theories, but you have to wonder if the whole New York Times is just not some big propaganda machine. Here is a piece I just finished on the Fed, I would love to get some of your feedback on it.

    I’m fed up with silly assertions about carbon dioxide not being responsible for global warming. Of course it is. Carbon forcing of the earth’s temperature is almost universally-accepted science and has been understood for well over a hundred years.

    If it wasn’t happening we’d be under a thick sheet of ice. Instead, we’ve just had the hottest first three months of the year, globally, since records began. And lookee – no sunspots.

    Now, one can argue whether human-caused carbon emissions are pushing up the temperature or whether other, natural processes are behind it. That’s a separate issue.

    Other than that, I’d agree with everything you say (except that, if the current climate trend continues, the effect on the oceans will be such that most people’s grandchildren won’t survive long enough to pay off the debt we ran up buying McMansions and SUVs).

    I’m fed up with hearing them call bribery of Congress by lobbyists freedom of speech. What does handing out money to get the laws written your way have to do with speech? Just now the Supreme Court ruled that any one or corporation in the world can bribe out politicians with any amount they wish. This is intentional destruction of the U.S.A. .

    I disagree with you about the abortion part. Well, if your government bans abortion, then what will happen to all of the “unwanted” children. Whose care will they be in? Why, the state of course. So, you’re not really against the government, you’re against democrats in general. I knew that the administrator is a republican after all, you support the so called “tea party” movement and also want control of government. So really, you’re a republican. That is the problem.

    Don’t worry the peace maker is moving five aircraft carriers off Iran by end July early August. Obviously a goodwill mission and the peacemaker wants to engage Iran with a lot of goodwill. So the crews of 6,000 Marines and sailors aboard the Truman Strike Group come from four months of extensive and thorough training to prepare them for anticipated missions in the Persian Gulf and the Mediterranean. Obviously goodwill fly by’s are planned for the joint peace talks/celebrations.

    Funny no mention of this on the Tee Vee…..more important issue I guess., like who won on Dancing with the Stars?

    I’m fed up with corporate welfare vampires sucking the life out of what was once a great country and shifting the blame onto workers. In particular one of the commentators railed against unions and how they cry when they their wages cut, yet when corporate welfare weasels cry about having to pay as much tax percentage-wise as your average worker, there is no caterwauling about that?

    I say if corporations want to be treated like people….then let’s do just that. Let’s jail everyone who is corporately considered the corporation when they commit crimes. Complete asset forfeiture! Death penalty!!!!

    Once the people rise up and hunt down the corporate weasels there won’t be enough left on the people’s boots to scrape off.

    If your fed up stop playing their game, what made you think you where going to win when its their game? They dont need to listen to you or look out for your wellfare and no amount of your protesting will have any impact on their financial infrastructure. none

    The solution is already in place, hardly anyone see’s it, in fact I find no one who see’s it and the solution is micro financing and virtual currency’s. you may not think so because it doesnt seem grand enough to replace the huge financial system we have now but it certainly is and in some locations is already exploding creating an abundance of new wealth.

    Why is it? Well give it some thought, if you know how our current system works you will see why it is the perfect solution, it bypass’s fractional reserve banking for a start, its 100% decentralised secondly it cannot be controlled and they are just but a few.

    Currently micro financing uses currency’s such as euros, pounds, dollars but in the future when a number of competing virtual currency become large enough and you combining it with micro financing you have the perfect financial infrastructure which will literally change the face of this planet beyond what anyone could currently recognise.

    I’m fed up with all the blame being assigned to Banks. Sure, they deserve some, but the corruption in Washington is AT LEAST 50% and I suspect more like 90% at fault. After all, Dodd, Rangle, Obama, etc. they ALL benefited from the Fanny/Freddy Fiasco. And GM & Goldman/Sachs were in the Gov’ts pockets for a long time. So, vote out the corruption in the public sector, & regulate the private sector & let’s get this country back on the righ track.

    @Michael I agree with you about the federal reserve and to audit it and I will go one step further, I think that the federal reserve should come to an end. I also think that we should get rid of speical interst groups as well. I am a libertarin/anarchist because I truly do believe that there is no such thing as a “good” government or a limited government. I voted for Ron Paul because I wanted him to truly end the federal reserve as we know it. When the dollar collpase, we have to keep taps on who our neighbors are and what resources can we use to survive this economic collpase.

    Most of what you claim has a fair amount of truth in it. One could leave with a heaping of negative. “What can I do” is an echoed chant. I can tell you what I recently did: Fed up with this that and the other I picked up my family and moved us across the planet. Did I have a lot of money? Nope. Did I have a job? Nope. Am I happy I did it? YES! Vote with your feet.

    I spend a lot of free time these days educating myself about the socioeconimic issues that all of us are facing. Lots and lots of reading, including this website and the magazine “Foreign Affairs.” (Recently, they had a no-BS article entitled “When the American Empire Goes, It is Likely to Go Quickly” by a preeminent British Historian. Highly recommended.)

    I’ve also begun buying some silver, stocking up on canned foods, and just trying to save as much as I can. I guess that sets me apart from the vast majority of the public.

    The biggest problem confronting this country is escaping the two party- mongrel dog system. Both sides are pathetic. Both sides have a stranglehold on voters. In fact, it is the greatest monopoly in the US.

    On a personal level, a unified 3rd party is our only escape. And the obvious choice is the Libertarian Party- the “get government out of our lives” party.

    The fascinating part is that the platform is simple- and should appeal to most- yet people view it as extreme. It is in fact quite palatable and unifying. Without a viable third party, we are doomed to continue to buy into the lies spun by both parties. Constantly distracted, all we ever manage to do is replace one crappy politician with another crappy politician. And the only beneficiary to this game that we continue to engage in- is government. Government continues to grow and consume like a cancer with each side pointing fingers in a never ending game of blame and one ups man ship.

    But the Libertarian Party is not viable. That’s why tea partiers find themselves working mostly from within the Republican Party. That is a shame and a wasted opportunity. Neither of these parties are the answer- in fact they represent the problem entirely.

    Get out of the US Dollar to the extent that you can. Dollars are instruments of debt, backed only by the faith and value of the U.S. Government, which is bankrupt.
    Liquidate anything you do not need, reduce or eliminate debt, and purchase gold, silver, and other hard assets that may become expensive or scarce in the near future. Do not entrust any hard assets to a bank for safekeeping in a safe-deposit box, as they are not insured and their contents are vulnerable to seizure and theft.
    Maintain some of the Dollar fiat currency in a safe location and in token balances in your checking/savings accounts, but try not to do business with banks. Find a credit union. They are member-owned and they do not kowtow to the Wall Street stock analysts. Credit unions and banks all engage in fractional-reserve banking, lending to others 90 cents of every dollar deposited with them. That this is actually a form of theft by fraud seems to be lost on the general population.
    Clean up your diet. Develop a can-do attitude with regard to your own health. It is possible to eat healthy, but you cannot do it consuming highly-processed foods, nor can you do it without effort or planning. White sugar is a killer, and it is in nearly everything highly-processed, in some form. Stock up on important natural vitamins and supplements. The purveyors of such products compete with Big Pharma and Big Med. Big Gov is in the back pockets of Big Pharma and Big Med, and there may come a time when you will actually have to grown your own herbs and process them at home if you wish to support your health with these preparations. You could keep from getting sick in the first place, and perhaps keep from becoming dependent on some synthetic drug to control a chronic medical condition; this would be preferable as it would keep you out of their cold, greedy hands. Diabetes and Cancer are Big Pharma and Big Med’s ideal conditions and once they have you, then Big Pharma and Big Med may be controlling you for the rest of your (brief) life.
    Complete your de-programming. Turn off the loud, endless stream of inane and poisonous “entertainment” and mainstream media propaganda, and spend six months without your television. Read a banned book. Try The Gulag Archipeligo by Aleksandr I. Solzhenitsyn. You might not have the opportunity to finish such a lengthy book but after only a few chapters you will begin to recognize the face of Leviathan and sense the icy tentacles of the police state slowly closing around you in your own country. (I read this book several years ago, and found that I could not put it down, which was inconvenient since it comprises three volumes of more than 500 pages each.)
    Turn away from the corrupt and evil systems that are destroying not only our people, but people all over the world. Inflict death by slow starvation on the filthy, fraudulent system of fractional-reserve banking that relentlessly inflates our already-devalued currency. These evil systems are doomed. You don’t want to go down with them.

    Great blog; I look forward to it each day. At any rate, I think we can get the Federal Reserve audited by taking a different approach. Firstly, is the Federal Reserve a government agency? The answer is no; okay if it isnt then it is a private entity that must file taxes like the rest of the private businesses in the US. Have they filed a tax return? Ever? You cant have your cake and eat it too; as a citizen I demand the Federal Reserve comply with the IRS regulations to file a tax return or be declared a Federal agency that will be audited and available for inspection like all government agencies. Without this accountability the Theft by Inflation will continue to destroy all wealth from all societies in this interconnected world.

Our generation has allowed the banking industry; government and the global elite to rob future generations and to place them in tax servitude and our Congress has helped.

    Thomas Jefferson said in 1802 “I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property; until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”

    Our Declaration of Independence states that “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. – That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, – That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government…”

    Our Constitution gives us our framework, known as the Bill of Rights. The government works for us. They do not own us, and it is our obligation to stop this insanity and tyranny at all costs, maybe this is what is driving the Tea Party movement. Enough is enough! Congress and the Senate after 234 years have passed so many laws that no one could know them. We don’t need more laws, we need less. We need freedom from our government. This is penned and intended, that we work peacefully and within the laws of the U.S.A.

    Is it not treasonous that the banking industry that owns the Federal Reserve, Treasury, Congress and Senate? They do not care about anything, but rape and pillage of the whole world at any cost. The fraction reserve banks started in England, moved to the USA, and are now moving to China.

    Our Federal Government is broken and bankrupt and needs to be dismantled and reduced by 75%; state governments by 65%; county governments by 55% and our city governments by 50%. All entitles have to live with balanced budgets. If not, you will be charged on criminal charges. Remember you work for us so we make the rules.

    We need to disband the illegal IRS and stop all taxes, federal, state county and city and erase them. We need to stop all types including permits, fees and fines. We need to reform law enforcement, get rid of the tazers guns, laser guns and cameras and replace them with a 44 magnum. We need to enact a Flat Tax on end users only that can never be changed; a tax on product sales on all people equally at a nominal rate. Now if you don’t like paying tax quit spending and start saving. We The People need to elect people who will do this. By attaining this we have cured the budget and tax shortfalls and have enough left over to start paying down our national debt with taxes at about 1/2 of current levels. But this is just a start.

    We the people need to bring back dignity to our government. We need to repeal about 75% of all laws. Disband the illegal Federal Reserve and return the creation of money to Congress where it belongs. That would be honest money: gold and silver; a safe place to store the fruits of our labor.

    Now with Inflation cured, and Congress, Being less than honest, We The People need to elect a new Congress that will immediately enact the above things and also enact two-term limits in both houses of Congress and dismantle there pay structure, perks, retirement and insurance. Serving in either house of Congress should be an honor and a burden, and a gift to your country.

    We need to outlaw lobbying of any type. Everyone must leave the Congress alone when in Washington. The election rules need to be revamped. No money can be given except $10.00 per person that is registered to vote in that State: No other group can donate. Now those of you trying to get elected will have to revamp your budgets.

    Now with their crap cured, We The People need to demand of our new Congress that they immediately press Treason charges against all the people that passed the Patriot Act and the new healthcare bill and TARP (remember that 96% of us did not want it). The Congress must also press treason charges against the Federal Reserve and Treasury past and present. Ron Paul may be the only free man. Enact laws for Bribes and kickbacks as treason charges. In doing this we have cured Pork barrel spending.

    Next, we need to dismantle all banks that are to big to fail and let the rest go broke. We need to make OTC derivatives illegal. Tough luck boys, destroy them they are worthless and illegal. We need to charge banks and corporate management with death sentence that cheat or lie. We need set limits on futures markets, so they are 100% backed by physical product. With this we have cured graft and corruption.

    Public employees: Sorry boys your wages are being reduced by 50% and retirements by 80%, Now they are equal to ours. With Internet and email we can eliminate the Postal Service and have FEDEX do the rest. Now we are getting somewhere. This is starting to be fun. Kind of what we thought Obama meant with that “hope and change” stuff.

    Next we need to file charges against The SEC and CFTC for failing there fiduciary responsibly, as well as against all the ratings agencies (maybe they were surfing porn too). These charges need prison sentences with them. Now with this done we have reduced porn.

    Now let’s tackle the other half of the problem. Well we need a mirror to take a look at ourselves. We are over weight, stupid and dumb, and too lazy to care. We have been busy spending money that we don’t have on crap that we don’t need while believing we were living the American Dream. What the hell is wrong with us? Have we gone insane? That is why the government has been able to pull this crap on us as we slept. We had better wake up and get a hold of our God, morality, friendship and brotherly love as we are going to need all the help we can get going forward. A few prayers are also in order.

    Let’s start with money. Debt is not money it is a noose put around your neck by your banker to extract a tax from your wallet, commonly known as “interest.” Gold and silver are money, nothing more and nothing less. That is why it is required in the Constitution. That is why the banksters use paper, plastic and debt and should be charged with treason.

    Let’s look at education, an 8th, grade education in 1850 is about equal to a two-year college degree now. What the hell? Did we fall back a few grades as we slept? An education makes you educated, it dose not give you intelligence or common scene. We need to put our head down and ass up and do a hell of a better job. For those who can’t we need more trade schools.

    What about work? As Kahlil Gibran noted in the Profit, Work is love made visible. We all owe our fellow countryman not to be a burden on them and to stay in a position to be able to help them in times of there need. If you don’t want to work, tough luck, then work twice as productively as others so you can quit working. Welfare, food stamps and unemployment benefits are the training ground for socialism / communism, not freedom. [We need to be self reliant again.]

    What about Retirement? Cross check your brain: only if you earned it and own it. Social Security was never meant to be a [guaranteed] retirement, it was meant to help out the needy. But the Congress stole your money and the Fed prints new [debt] money and your grandchildren get the bill. Boy, what a system: we can be proud of ourselves and our country. Mankind existed for several thousand years without it. Maybe our nation cannot afford it, sorry folks just the truth. How about the government engineered 401K accounts? Well ladies and gentlemen read Argentine history when they recently went broke as we are now doing. 401K accounts will work out about as well as Social Security. [If we got rid of the income and inheritance taxes then families could look after their own again over generations.]

    Now let’s address your fund manager. It’s a good racket for him. He is educated and hasn’t got enough common senses to know that he is no match for GS flash traders or CDOs or other derivatives writers with your money. The answers to your questions can only be found in hard work and worry.

    What about Healthcare? Germany started it in 1883 and by 1923 with a world war were bankrupt and enjoyed the fruits of there labor with hyperinflation that destroyed their currency. Our Social Security and Medicare are already broke, and with two wars, we don’t have 40 year, maybe 5 years. Realize that if for 6000 years we did not have it, maybe we can’t afford it.

    What we should address is insurance companies, doctors, hospitals and attorneys. Insurance companies are working on a 3.6% return, which is commendable and fair. Doctors are working under insane conditions (high insurance fees) because of attorneys and government intervention. If I was a doctor I would move to a different country. Hospitals are a victim in the train wreck. To justify a $20.000.00 child birth when it was near free for the last 5950 years, is a stretch. Attorneys and big pharma companies are parasites on the backs of doctors and hospitals. Health insurance should be purchased starting at about 45 yrs old with a $10,000.00 deductible and later on move down the deductible. During your working life in doing this you save about $150.000.00 this should more than cover out of pocket cost, leaving you with a good amount in your saving [; for retirement or kid’s college].

    Now let’s touch on a couple other points, like immigration, on our borders. There were some poor decisions made back in 1970’s. Is there anyone stupid enough to believe that in 40 years we can’t find a politically correct approach? After 40 years, 100,000,000 legal and illegal [immigrants] now reside within our country. Don’t you think we have to be incredibly stupid to listen to this crap on TV? This is all a lie. We can cure this problem in one day for less than $10,000. Don’t you think that the Congress, Senate and President are rolling around on the floors of the House, behind closed doors, in stitches laughing at our stupidity? Now after we tackle the next subject, Debt, we will be damned happy to do those jobs we are to lazy to do now.

    As a nation, we are bankrupt and the only way out at this stage is a large devaluation. This makes us incredibly poor; gas at $10.00 a gallon, etc. We will have to adjust to our new lifestyle. But we will be able to repay our national debt with cheap dollars worth $0.33. Now we only owe two generations of debt. This was planed back when Nixon was first going to China and we have finely arrived at that point. Now your retirement buys one third of what you thought. Any of you feel like picking a few tomatoes to help make up the difference. No? A garden and a few chickens sounds pretty good at this stage. Nationally or personally, the quicker we pay down debt or repudiate it, the faster we can return to prosperity. Whatever is for our nation.

Like er – it wasn’t the socialists that exported your jobs to Asia by the million. The only socialists I can see in the US are the rich who get to socialise their losses while the rest of the schmucks pay for it.
    Don’t fall into the trap of lashing out and blaming anyone and everyone who’s not “True Blue”. Can’t you see this is what the rich and powerful want you to do? Meanwhile they consolidate their power ever tighter and tighter.
    This is exactly what the Nazis did – set up scapegoats for the masses while they rode to power.
    I really fear the way this is going.

    I agree the libertarian party is a “do nothing” total flop; too much infighting..just like the Rep and Dems…infighting. I haven’t voted in over 25 years and many others ditto. Scandals, corruption on all levels of gov. All hope for America is gone there’s so few patriots left to matter. I totally agree with this article; but sorry folks, brace yourselves and prep. for all hell to break loose! Let’s hope Oath Keepers and true patriots will take a stand when martial law kicks in, sooner than you think!

    I’m fed up with socialism being considered an enemy. The direction America is heading is FAR from anything like socialism. We have welfare programs that aren’t used to help people, but to control them, and to keep unrest at bay. We have health care reform that is designed not to bring adequate health care to citizens, but to placate the demand for health care to keep the population under control, while also vastly increasing the size and scope of the bureaucracy to increase the power of the executive branch. The bailouts banks have received are not because the government believes in necessary government intervention in the Keynesian sense, rather it because the banks and American government have the same interests–as long as banks have money, the US government has power, which together are used to create and enact US foreign, and even domestic policy. It is all part of a system of global capitalism that aims to destroy the influence of people like us so that the elite ruling class can satisfy its own interests in consolidating power, which also takes the form of money, and suppressing those that threaten those interests. Capitalism is the enemy; capital is what makes power. With socialism, it is society–people–that makes power. Until we as people fight back against capitalism, we will never see the real change necessary to fix the problems we face.

    I hate to be a bearer of bad news, but the Republic we love is DEAD and it is not coming back. The entire social and ethnic fabric of this nation has been undermined in such a way that it is permanently altered for the worse. There is literally nothing that can be done to save America as a whole. That ship has sailed. That is just the honest to God truth. America is no longer a relatively stable nation state but rather a multicultural empire with all of the emerging internal ethnopolitical conflicts and realities that will continue to manifest themselves as we move deeper into this century, as well as all of the move back to globalization that reduces people to nothing more than chattel and wage slaves to the wealthy elite. The same forces that will in the future plunge this once great nation into a full on totalitarian police state or into Balkanization and perhaps open warfare.

    Now I know that a lot of people might be confused when I say move BACK to globalization, but that is exactly the case. There is nothing new or particularly unique about any so-called New World Order, Globalization and Empire building. For most of recorded human history, Globalization in one form or another has been the preferred method of the often tyrannical ruling elite. Most people erroneously attribute both World Wars as being the result of the problem of Nationalism when nothing could be further from the truth. WWWI and WWII respectively were the direct result of the relatively novel phenomenon of Nationalism and the efforts of the Global elite to restore the Old World Order through behind the scenes manipulations to once again bring the peasants under heel. The World wars were indeed horrible and catastrophic, but in the larger scope of human history they are no more or less brutal or catastrophic for the common man than the realities of Global Elite’s persecutions of their chattel, be it called Feudalism, Imperialism, Communism or Capitalism.

    The American Experiment was the absolute pinnacle of the potential of Nationalism, Populism and inalienable group rights. Not a perfect system by any means, but one that I am convinced is the closest to perfect that the Human being in all his weaknesses and frailties can conceive. It has failed or rather has been slowly undermined for decades by the same forces who have always resented the common man having any identity beyond that of their subjects or any social mobility beyond which is clearly defined in a rigid class structure. America is divided as it never before has been not only along ethnic lines, but also divided along the lines of those who still believe in the ideals of old Republic and those who have embraced the Old New World Order and their own loss of CHOICE of Sovereignty, replaced instead by a condition of fealty to the power elite who rule by proxy through their Vassals in government.

    Ever wonder why 90% of Americans polled can be against bankster bailouts, 60% Against Automotive bailouts, 70% of Americans be against Amnesty for illegal aliens who break our laws and violate of sovereignty, 70% support Arizona’s law to protect their borders that mirrors federal law, a majority be against ObamaCare yet the Fed Gov stands defiantly opposed to the will of the American people? Well now you know! The Fed Gov is saying there is no such thing as the American people, only chattel who don’t have a say in their own governance.

    At this point, about the last great hope for is states re-enforcing their sovereignty from the Fed Gov. However, we once that little issue pop up and it eventually led to secession and a little thing called the second American revolution, that historians like to call the civil war, the war between the states or the war of northern aggression depending on their position. Regardless of what you were taught in your highs school history classes, that war was primarily about state sovereignty. Slavery was only a sidebar of the greater whole. With a Fed Gov that has only grown in scope and power since the 1860’s, it is hard to imagine that they would willingly agree to relinquish their power. Such is NOT the way of tyrants.

    Of course carbon dioxide does NOT cause global warming. The best climate records we have that date back tens of thousands of years have resolutions of only about 3 to 4 hundred years. We have no idea of how the temperature varies over short time spans such as a hundred or so years. Our current day climate records are highly accurate on a day to day basis and cover only the past 100 years or so, we can not determine from that if a few hot years is somehow a trend. Also the record shows that there has been much higher levels of carbon dioxide in the air many times in the past than we now have and the earth got along just fine. Carbon dioxide is what we breathe out and what plants breath in.. its all good. The global climate change idea is scam and is being created to extract tax from people for simply living and breathing… evil indeed.
