Global Collapse: Children Are Literally Starving To Death In Venezuela And Yemen

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

Venezuela and Yemen were both once very prosperous nations, but now parents are literally watching their children starve to death as the economies of both nations continue to utterly collapse.  Just like so many here in the United States, most of those living in Venezuela and Yemen would have called you completely crazy if you would have warned them that this was going to happen five years ago.  In particular, Venezuela has more proven oil reserves than almost anyone else on the planet, and so to most of their citizens it was unimaginable that things could ever get this bad.  But it has happened, and the collapse that has already begun in parts of South America, Africa and the Middle East will soon spread elsewhere.

When I said that children are literally starving to death in Venezuela, I was not exaggerating one bit.  The following comes from the Wall Street Journal

Jean Pierre Planchart, a year old, has the drawn face of an old man and a cry that is little more than a whimper. His ribs show through his skin. He weighs just 11 pounds.

His mother, Maria Planchart, tried to feed him what she could find combing through the trash—scraps of chicken or potato. She finally took him to a hospital in Caracas, where she prays a rice-milk concoction keeps her son alive.

“I watched him sleep and sleep, getting weaker, all the time losing weight,” said Ms. Planchart, 34 years old. “I never thought I’d see Venezuela like this.”

What would you do if that was your child?

At one time Venezuela had the brightest outlook out of all the economies in South America, but now their economy has contracted by a total of 27 percent since 2013, imports of food have fallen 70 percent, and the IMF says that the inflation rate will hit a staggering 720 percent this year.

Tonight, in major cities all across Venezuela you will find thousands of people rummaging through garbage looking for food.  It has been reported that some citizens have even resorted to eating cats, dogs and pigeons because they are so desperate for something to eat.

According to one survey, among those that said that they lost weight last year, the average amount lost was a staggering 19 pounds.  In the United States that would be a good thing, but in a country like Venezuela that is an absolutely catastrophic number.

Meanwhile, thousands of children are starving to death in Yemen as well

Eyes half open and sunken deep into their sockets, little Jamila Ali Abdu already looked half dead for most of her 12-day stay at the Hodeidah clinic.

Too weak to resist the march of disease and hunger in her war-battered country, the child’s tiny frame was swathed in a bright green shroud and lowered by sobbing relatives into a dusty grave on Tuesday.

The primary cause of the crisis in Yemen is a nightmarish civil war that is not going to end any time soon.

And most Americans don’t realize this, but the U.S. military has contributed to the civil war by conducting airstrikes.  It is essentially a proxy war between Saudi Arabia and Iran, and both sides are absolutely determined to win.

So the suffering in Yemen is only going to intensify, and already a child under the age of five is dying every five minutes

The United Nations warns that a child under five in Yemen dies around every 10 minutes from preventable causes such as starvation, disease, poor sanitation or lack of medical care.

UN chief Antonio Guterres warned last week of “the starving and the crippling of an entire generation.”

Nearly 17 million of Yemen’s 28 million people are deemed “food insecure” by aid groups – and around SEVEN MILLION do not know where they will get their next meal.

Even though you may not believe it right now, what is happening in Venezuela and Yemen is going to happen in the United States someday as well.

So instead of using this time of relative stability for the U.S. economy to party, I would be using it to prepare.

Huh? The world is DROWNING IN VAST EXCESS SUPPLIES OF FOOD NEARLY EVERYWHERE.

      • awb22

        Proven liar.

        • socalbeachdude

Absolutely false. The GLOBAL GRAIN GLUT is now in an extreme mode and getting worse by the hour and prices on food continue to PLUNGE DAILY as the global deflationary spiral intensifies.

          • awb22

Right, and eggs are $1/dozen, NOT.

There is no deflationary cycle except in oil, and it continues to remain depressed. Let a major war develop, and that will change fast. What happens to the price of grain then?

          • socalbeachdude

Eggs are not $1 per dozen but rather 99 cents per dozen this week at both Ralphs and Vons here in Southern California.

          • awb22

I just called Vons, and they’re $2.99/dozen. Maybe you misread the price.

          • socalbeachdude

Absolutely false. They’re right there in the Just-4-U section for $1.49 for an 18 count which is 99 cents per dozen.

What an utterly bogus and extremely stupid assertion. The rich and wonderful choices in the Korean cuisine are absolutely wonderful!

          • awb22

SBD, you’ve surpassed your own limits of absurd stupidity. Which is quite humorous, considering you also support the Fed. How ironic it’s the IMF and central banks which are the focal cause of humanitarian crises in Yemen and Venezaula.

You should die, except God, not me, will be your judge.

          • socalbeachdude

Hardly, but that sure would describe YOU. Neither the Federal Reserve nor the IMF have nothing whatsoever to do with the economic or political situations in Venezuela or Yemen, and both have REFUSED INTERNATIONAL AID for purely idiotic POLITICAL REASONS.

          • awb22

The only thing they’ve done right.

          • socalbeachdude

Refusing international aid is precisely the reason that Venezuelans are starving coupled with the nationalization of farms there and the reduction of 70% in imports of food in Venezuela.

          • awb22

Because loans that can never be repaid, or “aid”, as you call it, has worked out so well for the recipient countries in the past.

          • socalbeachdude

So, you’d rather see people starve in Venezuela due to the massive errors of their government than get rehabilitation assistance from intelligent bankers? Really?

          • awb22

Is that anything like military intelligence, or business logic? It doesn’t sound like those terms should ever be used together. However, idiot describes you quite nicely, and now that you’re a proven liar, you can be summarily dismissed on all topics. It’s spelled L-I-A-R

          • Zenithon

Did you even read the article you posted? If you had, you would know your assertions about North Korea are completely false and misguided. Next time you try to dazzle anyone with facts, try reading and comprehending the information you are providing first.

In the article you provided, it states:
“North Korea’s population was ravaged by famine from 1994 to 1998. And while the dictatorial regime of Kim Jong-Un keeps foreign eyes away from the country’s poor, human rights groups regularly report starvation as just one of the problems the under-the-boot masses face in the world’s most isolated country.”

There is also a link in that article to another source that wrote: The UN says that North Korea uses food “as a means of control over the population” – with those deemed to be important to maintaining the state prioritised over those deemed to be “expendable”.

          • socalbeachdude

Are you somehow not aware that this is now 2017 and those brief transitory food issues in North Korea totally ended nearly 20 years ago? Really? Seriously?

          • Zenithon

Kim Jong-Un wasn’t in power 20 years ago. It states that these policies are under his reign. You provided the source not me. Again, try reading and comprehending the information you provide to back up your assertions. I am only drawing my conclusions by reading and comprehending the information you provided. So yes, really and seriously you appear to be either seriously misinformed or unable to comprehend the facts from sources that you are providing.

          • socalbeachdude

More totally false nonsense from you, I see, once again. I would suggest that YOU learn how to read and comprehend, dude, and then “draw conclusions” based on the actual facts, not your delusions.

      • jaxon64

Exactly–IT’S THE SOCIALISM!! Socialists/liberals and their ilk never think these things through.
They put price controls on food and forced markets and farmers to sell at rock bottom prices–so what happens is what any thinking person could see from a mile away. When people are restricted from prospering from their labor ( or let alone, lose money to sell food at below production costs) they simply quit growing, shipping/selling it.
The people have the money but there is no food to buy. There is no food because socialist policies to destroy the free market and government control of prices always lead to shortages–ALWAYS. Then ultimately, massive inflation in the black markets–idiots always repeat the same mistakes.
Now we have millions of these idiots graduating from our socialist institutions of higher “learning.”
It will come to the USA also–if not in 4 years, definitely within the next 12 to 16 at max.

Venezuela Is Starving – Wall Street Journal

Once Latin America’s richest country, Venezuela can no longer feed its people, hobbled by the nationalization of farms as well as price and currency controls

Venezuela has the world’s highest inflation—estimated by the International Monetary Fund to reach 720% this year—making it nearly impossible for families to make ends meet. Since 2013, the economy has shrunk 27%, according to local investment bank Torino Capital; imports of food have plunged 70%.

    https://www.wsj.com/articles/venezuela-is-starving-1493995317

  • socalbeachdude

The major problems in Venezuela are both POLITICAL and ECONOMIC and the bad politics there are driving their economic problems into an absolute catastrophe for many people there with currency controls, price controls, state seizures of assets, and other gross stupidity which is the reason why there are food shortages and the inability of many people there to be able to buy food despite the fact that it is plentiful in the world. Venezuela was once a large EXPORTER OF FOOD and they really do need to pull together to get their political mess fixed without further delay.

    • Liberty First

And, the problems are cultural. Which means real change is almost impossible there.

  • JC Teecher

“The United Nations warns that a child under five in Yemen dies around every 10 minutes from preventable causes such as starvation, disease, poor sanitation or lack of medical care.”

This New World Order organization, called the UN, is so corrupt and bogus, that anyone with a partial brain can see that all they do is take in $$, distribute it amongst themselves, and then squawk about children dying.
America should defund the UN, P- non- Parent-n tha hood, and the Arts Council Programs, and 90% of NASA, just to start with.
We are broke people, and stockpiling food is the only way to stave off the happenings of Venezuela and Yemen.

    • Carl

Meanwhile god is too busy to intervene on behalf of starving children in Yemen because he is helping good ole american christians live the american dream.

Next time you crow about god blessing you teecher I want you to recall the starving yemen children and think about why he doesn’t do anything to stop the starvation.

      • JC Teecher

Next time you have a disease that is incurable by modern medicine…”grow up”, and remember what I told you about God’s healing power, by Christ’s stripes. Other wise you are just another talking head that knows nothing about God and His plan. One day you will swallow a lot of the mocking words of hate you spew.
You think you are so smart, but you are doing the bidding of Satan, that will throw you under the bus when you need a saviour.

        • socalbeachdude

          What utter nonsense, dude.

        • Carl

I don’t mean to give you the business teecher. My intent is to get christians to see that god is really not answering anyone’s prayers. And if he is picking and choosing what he will and won’t do – what exactly does that make him?

Everyone always talks about gods plans as if that justifies the chaos and terrible suffering that happens in the world everyday.

Yet when I ask why doesn’t he do anything about it I am told because we have free will. Yet in the same breath christians go on and on about all the prayers god answers for them.

So if prayer really, truly works why are children starving in Yemen, the US and the world over?

Do you understand my problem with the whole thing? I really and seriously want a legitimate understanding about how people can skirt and avoid these real issues. About why these things do not ever seem to change.

What exactly is god’s plan? I really would like to know.

          • Carl

James Staten it is interesting reading as are the comments. Yet you are still a believer are you not?

          • James Staten

Absolutely, From the guttermost to the uttermost

          • Carl

So James if you were reading the koran or any of the thousands of religious texts and the bulk of the salvation message came from a man who had an encounter with a talking donkey on the side of the road would you give it credence? Did you grow up in a christian household? At what age did you start going to church?

          • James Staten

Yes, I did, but when I turned 18, I stayed drunk for about 20 years. Knew it was true, bit didn’t want to hear it. Then the Hound Dog of Heaven outran me. The Holy Spirit caught me. Do me a favor. Go read Isaiah 17, then we will go from here if you wish?

          • Carl

I wonder growing up as you say you did in a christian household why you stayed drunk for 20 years. Something happened in your child hood that caused you to seek comfort in alcohol. You don’t have to say but just something for you to think about.

          • James Staten

Yep, I was raised in a Christian home. Heard all my life the bible says, the bible says. Got to be 18 and like many people life’s frustrations, but the truth is the “Rebel” in me, didn’t want to hear it. Most people don’t know is that the Lord’s Mother, her name in Hebrew is Miriam, and one of the meanings of the name is Rebel. Even the Lord’s birth Mother by definition was a rebel. Did you happen to read Isaiah 17?

          • James Staten
          • JC Teecher

Well, Carl, since you have settled down a tad, and have asked in a manner that isn’t so condescending, and foolish; I will answer for the benefit of those that need, and/or want a better clarification about God’s Master Plan. Because this will be rather lengthy and very important to some people, I will go to the top of the comments section, and lay it out, in the format that is wider and allows for more space.

  • DJohn1

We need to move in and take over the government there for the sake of the children.
We need to organize the entire economy from scratch and provide a social condition combining getting everyone fed and finding them jobs to earn a living.
Convert the currency into something new backed by commodities.
Then export the things that will build up the country.
The exception to this is farms. Only farms done for profit have ever worked long term. So give them back to the original owners and give those owners a 7 year break from paying taxes. Most farmers work hard. Give them time to recover but also produce enough food locally to feed everyone.
Retrain the military. They are the foundation for the people and they need to be more along the lines of our own safe guarding against civil war and or any dictatorship that might arise.
Put a group of business people in charge of rebuilding everything.
In the meantime, bring in enough food to get everyone safe from starvation.
Establish vocational schools to teach people how to make a living.
The damage is done. Fixing it comes with a price in labor and possibly in blood. It does not have to be this way.

    • JC Teecher

Good ideas, but with a Country next door like Colombia that is filled with Drug Cartel corruption, sooner or later they will take it over.
But then again there is Brazil nearby, and maybe they will intervene.

      • Carl

And the US is in Afghanistan to protect democratic interested not the poppies and drug trade. Grow up our government is involved in drug dealing the world over.

        • socalbeachdude

          100% correct, Carl.

    • socalbeachdude

The US needs to totally stay out of Venezuela as the US has no business at all interfering there.

    • Thebadguy

I hope we do what we can however we do not need to take over. Our house is about to collapse ourselves we need to worry about us first.

  • Richard O. Mann

It’s amazing that Venezuela fell like it did. You would think that many areas would be returning to farming as quickly as possible to help relieve the problem. But, I am not there and don’t know the all of what is going on. And, yes, it is a warning to the US, and the rest of the world. When the crash comes, it’s going to be very ugly. You can’t eat oil. As for Yamen, as long as the country stays in a state of war, nothing good will happen for the children there.

    • socalbeachdude

Venezuela was once a huge EXPORTER OF FOOD, but the government there has nationalized most all of the farms and choked off the ability for them to produce food which is a huge problem leading to shortages of food in Venezuela as food imports have also declined by 70%.

    • Dave Russell

The few farmers that are still farming have given up. Either their entire production is stolen by roving gangs or it’s confiscated by the army to feed the government cronies.

      • Richard O. Mann

Thanks Dave. Had not thought of that. But this also shows what happens when a country collapses. You cannot raise your own food because of the groups who will take it from you.

      • socalbeachdude

        Correct, Dave.

  • geoffandmarie418@aol.com

If America is not careful and doesn’t smarted up, what is happening in Venezuela will be playing soon at a theatre near you here in the grand U.S.A. like it or not!!

The average people are to dis-united to see beyond today, to blind too see they need to start working together more often. The elite ( ruling class ) uses the dis-unity of of the working class, asians, blacks, hispanics, whities, conservative, liberals, etc… The elite uses this division among the people to keep us in check!!

    • hopeless

      Doesn’t smarted up?

      • geoffandmarie418@aol.com

I see what you mean!! Ha!! Thanks!! Now please take something more from this blog!! Please read!! We Americans need to stand together against the forces arrayed against us!!
You Mr. Hopeless seem like a smart person!!

  • Carl

Does anyone know what the US governments involvement is in the destabilization of Venezuela? Answer to come. But maybe someone can tell us all how the US has helped this process along.

    • Yeah. The CIA killed Hugo Chavez with heart attack. He was openly against American Hegemony in South America.

After he was dead, venezuela went into chaos

      • socalbeachdude

Absolutely false. Hugo Chavez was very ill for years and traveled repeatedly to Cub for medical treatment which ultimately failed and he passed away due to natural causes on March 5, 2013. He died of CANCER which was originally diagnosed back in 2011, not of a heart attack. Try to start dealing with the actual facts rather than wallowing in utterly absurd and false delusions.

        Death of Hugo Chávez

        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Death_of_Hugo_Ch%C3%A1vez

      • Thebadguy

The main cause of death was Pancreatic cancer. just a FYI on Chavez. This is the death of a socialist country.

      • Dave Russell

Venezuela went into chaos at about the time Barbra Streisand and Sean Penn went to visit, to celebrate Chavez taking over.

      • CensoredSpeech✓ᴰᵉᵖˡᵒʳᵃᵇˡᵉ

Socialism killed Venezuela! “The trouble with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people’s money?”

    • Defiant

Why would the US NEED to help this process along? These countries have embraced governmental systems and leaders who rape the people. They’re reaping what they’ve sown.

      • Tom kauser

You walk a lot from the basement to the refrigerator

    • Tom kauser

It was super easy? Hydraulic fracking

    • Pig Farmer Bill

Really, going pin that on America. That place has been a powder keg for decades. They did it to themselves.

  • Midwest Values

Socialism doesn’t work. Maduro acts like the ass of a Donkey. When he is finally overthrown, he will wind up like the former Romanian Dictator with a bullet in his head.

  • Jarhead0369

How many times does a Commie based Socialist Workers Paradise have to show itself to be a murderous, tyrannical, economically non-viable nightmare before the ideology is abandoned? Yeah, I know, NEXT TIME it will be different.

    • socalbeachdude

China, Russia, Cuba and other countries are all communist and do not have the same problems as Venezuela at all.

      • CASTIEL

Russia its not a communist country anymore….that ended in 89,

        • Jarhead0369

          Exactly, nor is China.

          • HeyAHuman

Despite the fact that they adopted some elements of capitalism, China is still a communist country.

        • socalbeachdude

Both Russia and China are a communist as they have ever been. So is Cuba.

          • CASTIEL

You are a ignorant…..stupid narcizist! Russia is no longer communist!!!!

    • Thebadguy

Perfectly written however progressive liberals who set up systems like this are never around when they collapse they take the money and run.

    • Carl

Is what the USA has economically viable or is it an illusion of economic vitality that we buy into? Most corporations receive government welfare (a form of socialism). Same with banks, the auto industry, medical industry and insurance companies. etc.

If the USA government did not intervene and give assistance, most if not all of these businesses would have gone under a long time ago.

We the people get the privilege of propping these businesses up and we don’t even get discounts on the goods and services our tax payer dollars go towards keeping them afloat.

If that is not backwards I don’t know what is.

The USA has been waging war on Venezuela since Chavez stood up to them and I believe that the lower price of oil has been a policy which has contributed to this countries downfall.

If only it was as simple as communism caused this problem or that issue. But it is not. There are so many invisible factors at play and you can start by looking to the USA.

      • Jarhead0369

You are exactly correct. The downward spiral of socialism in the USA is there for all to see, if they are paying attention.
Debt, deficit, redistribution, free stuff (which is never free), vote buying, cronyism, generational bankruptcy, a stock market with no “there” there, hell, it’s all good… for now.
Just tell more lies, pass another continuing resolution, and head for Martha’s Vineyard.

  • William Lutz

The USA should bomb the Venezuelan government.

    • socalbeachdude

Why are you so interested in warmongering and killing folks? Why do you long for chaos and catastrophe when it is so easily avoidable?

      • William Lutz

Pardon my French… Because I’m sick and tired of this bull****! I’m sorry to say this, but the Venezuelans are a bunch of dumb***** for letting this s*** slide. The other day, Maduro was merrily dancing in his retreat while the people were starving and fighting. How f***ed up is that?

        • socalbeachdude

That sort of thing has always been going on in Venezuela and many other countries and nothing about it is new at all. The people there have no idea what they even want from government and don’t want to work together to achieve anything at all and just want to live far beyond their means which is fairly typical of people all around the world which has always been the case, hasn’t it?

          • William Lutz

Didn’t you know that Venezuela is one of the most abundant sources of oil on this planet? Come on. That colossal amount of oil could make the entire nation incredibly wealthy and prosperous. However, the oil money is monopolized at the hands of the corrupt Maduro regime. The wealth is not trickling down.

          • socalbeachdude

Yes, as to the amount of oil in Venezuela, but it does LITTLE GOOD IN THE GROUND and the issue in Venezuela is the PRODUCTION OF OIL which is faltering severely because of the country’s inability to get it out of the ground because it has failed to partner with oil companies that have the EXPERTISE which they totally lack coupled with the fact that NOBODY WANTS TO WORK WITH THEM BECAUSE THEY SEIZE FOREIGN FACILITIES IN THEIR COUNTRY (just like they did with GM recently) and that the price of oil is PLUNGING IN THE WORLD OIL MARKETS. Get it now?

          • William Lutz

I know there are many factors at play here. I mentioned that with the right conditions and additional resources, Venezuela would be a rich paradise.

      • aldownunder

        Because he is a fool

    • liberals are mentally ill

yeah, we should all get bombed, lololol

    • Carl

The are already doing their part by destabilizing the government with staged protests and sanctions.

Similar to the staged provocations in Ferguson.

It is like a soft kill rather than a full on massacre.

  • mtntrek3

Somewhere between the far right and left….. without the corruption. ……. Greedy/power hungry types want control from all directions. Evil will increase greatly in these later days and will eventually make an attempt at war with God at Armageddon. …….. Satan loses, God wins. Choose the winning team. Christ first.

    • Carl

But satan would never have had anything to win or lose of god had not given him domain over this world in the first place, right?

I think people become insulated to just how much evil and immorality there is in the world when they are not living it. Believe me there is a lot of really bad things that go on every single day, probably worse than you or I could ever begin to imagine and there is often no justice for the victims or punishment for the guilty.

There was a recent case of a 14 year old girl who killed her abusive father (he abused the mother not the child). She is now on trial for murder. Why? Was the life of her mother less important than the man who physically abused and tormented the woman on a daily basis? The prosecutor seems to think so. If I was on that jury I would say not guilty.

      • mtntrek3

We can defend ourselves……. and we should.

        • Carl

But our legal system says otherwise.

          • mtntrek3

Our legal system is …. well sufficient at best. It’s suffering in several ways.

          • mtntrek3

Our legal system. We should adhere to it mostly. It’s not an absolute as God’s Laws are however.

  • mtntrek3

Christ will come back soon, but until then many horrible things will take place. Faith in Christ first, pray, read His Word, obey His commandments, ask for forgiveness when necessary, prep in this world as we can, buckle in and hang on to Him. One happy day He will make the world right. Take care all.

    • socalbeachdude

Nope. The world never has been right and will never be right. Moreover, only 23% of the world’s population in any way “believes” in “Christ” or “Jesus of Nazareth.”

      • mtntrek3

Hey there SBD. Here’s a message from the Apostle Paul: “The message of the cross is foolishness to those that are perishing, but to us that are being saved it is the power of God. Take care. Chris.

        • Carl

Why do you ignore the fact that paul was NOT an apostle? In fact the apostles did not like paul and believed he was teaching things that went against the teachings of jesus.

          • mtntrek3

?? Well, Paul had a unique encounter w/God. His conversion on the Damascus road. Paul at one point corrected Peter. How did Paul’s teachings go against the teachings of Jesus?

          • Carl

Why don’t you google it and see what you come up with?

          • mtntrek3

Yes I google things at times and it helps me in understanding along life’s way. More importantly I look to the Bible…. I Bible things and God’s Word shows me what is really going on in the world and what is to come. Just saying.

          • Carl

So you are going to research it? Or your not going to?

          • mtntrek3

Yes google helps in the search and investigation of many topics. I search God out on a daily basis. You know how I do that most importantly? On a personal daily basis. Prayer. Speaking to God and listening to Him through His Word.

          • Carl

So that would be a no you will not research it as an outsider.

          • mtntrek3

?? An outsider? Google/other search engines help lead us to info on line ……. . To research God, go to the Bible. Commentaries of differing kinds help also. What really helps to understand God is to accept His Son as our Savior, and seek Him in prayer. Take care.

          • mtntrek3

Paul wrote most of the New Testament. How do you figure his writings went against Jesus?

      • liberals are mentally ill

and even less than 23% will be saved so don’t worry, be happy.

    • Carl

Why wait? And if gods plan was to make the world right someday why didn’t he just fast forward to that point in time and start from there? Can’t you see that the scenario you are hoping to eventually happen does not make any sense?

      • mtntrek3

We don’t understand the ways of God. Faith kicks in and we wait, one day(happy day) our faith in God will ripen and we will take part in the fruit.

        • Carl

Or maybe it is that the bible is not true. Not understanding the ways of god is just an excuse a rational person makes to understand the irrational. U know it is true.

          • mtntrek3

Can the created understand the Creator? Ummm, no. Higher levels of intelligence/wisdom relatively speaking.

          • Carl

So how can you have a relationship with a being like that? Especially one that never answers you.

And why do people say that things are going according to gods plans if they cannot understand the mind of god himself – according to you?

          • mtntrek3

Carl…… really. Do you want to control God? …… God answers me, not when I want time wise often but He does answer. He’s helped our son most recently with certain anxiety/ depression issues and with work very importantly. He hears and answers prayers to those that honestly seek and worship Him.

          • Carl

            I know you believe that.

          • mtntrek3

He answers, and God is good…….. all the time.

    • Fish Deep

Better you should put that in the Venezuela newspapers. No? Will that help them forget their hunger?

      • mtntrek3

Like I said, many horrible things to take place before Christ returns. What is going on in Venezuela will arrive here in the U.S. one day. We in the world as a whole haven’t seen anything yet.

    • Viv Beatty

God is a computer programmer and we are all merely programs. That’s why he was able to make the world in 7 days. Mankind is close to being able to do the same thing, so of course God would of been able to do it.

  • liberals are mentally ill

eat the rich, I heard they taste like fried chicken!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • mtntrek3

Many across the world in different countries hungry for power …….. stomping upon the citizens of such as they go. As said in this article, …… it’s coming here sadly. Get ready through Christ as our Savior. Take care all. Chris.

  • Dave Russell

Venezuela now looks suspiciously like the Ukrainian famine in the 1930s.
“Uncle Joe” Stalin confiscated all the food from farms, destroyed all back yard gardens, etc. in order to starve the population in submission.
This is an old trick used by socialists to bring the people into line.
    “Join us or die.”

  • JC Teecher

Now, this is where it gets critical, and it is where the decision by God, to being in this second heaven and Earth age, takes place. To fully understand and accept the full consequences of God’s decisions, it takes a parent to see the level of love that came into God’s decision of what to do next.
Imagine you had a large family, say 15 children like stair steps in age. One of your children got on crack, stole your life savings, and convinced five more children to get on Crack or meth, and become thieves and murders, to fill their lusts for drugs and evil. One by one, the other children began to see the big party, and wanted to try the highly addictive drug, and sinful, destructive, lifestyle. You saw the writing on the wall, and if there was not intervention, you would lose, possibly all your children, especially the five that were the fence sitters. The bad had became so bad that you had two choices, imprison them, and hope for rehabilitation, or kill them off. Which would you choose?
Now we come to the beginning of this Age. The Age by which God achieved a decision to rebirth his created children, (not Arch Angels/Cherubim), into flesh organic bodies without remembrance of their former lives in the Spirit and of which position they took in that Age, either by following Lucifer, which was now called Satan, or their Heavenly Father and King of Creation His only Son, or just fence sitters in the middle. Those in the middle are referred to as “reeds in the wind”, leaning this way one day and leaning the other way the next. (Remind you of any people today, as in lukewarm/Laodicean church?) All for the 2nd Heaven and Earth Age, or kill off a third (billions) of His children. What would you do?
In this age, we are born of the waters, as in the bag of waters of the womb, and more importantly in the manuscripts it is described, as being “born from above”. As each egg is fertilized, it immediately becomes an embryo and has the breath of life, from the Father that gave and created that life/soul billions of years ago. See how precious each life is, as it is life upon conception? Well, the liberals won’t see this nor will they see God’s Master Plan, because they were most likely, a part of the third that fell with Satan in that first heaven and Earth Age. Sadly, most of the fence sitters, those that were in the middle then, and many stuck with that in this age, can’t or won’t see the simplicity of God’s Master Plan, for salvation from the deception of ole Lucifer, the Dragon.
As far as the infidels/heathen/nonbelievers being able to handle these truths, it is not possible until they humble themselves, accept the gospel of the doctrines of Jesus Christ and repent, to become a living Child of God. The alternative, and there is only one, to side with Satan or be as Esau, and care nothing about their heritage from their Creator, but just to only care about the things that were created. If one is not come unto salvation through Christ, first; then all their prayers fall on deaf ears and is for naught. The prayer for acceptance, and redemption is the first and only prayer that makes it into the records in Heaven, before life really begins.
Much of the suffering in the world is not from God, but from the lack of those receiving suffering and starvation, of not being taught the truth of how to open up the line of communications, into the Heavenly realm. That line of communication, which leads to a release from all the suffering, has to be established first. I can pray for the salvation and end to suffering for the whole of Venezuela and Yemen, along with millions of other believers, but until there is a change of heart in those that are part of the suffering, (not the innocent children as they have not become “accountable”, but their parents, guardians, or someone near them are); the suffering will not end.
This lack of tku, truth, knowledge, and understanding, is what causes the suffering and starvation. Once a person becomes a born again Christian, then the Holy Spirit will start working in their individual lives to help them receive the things necessary. Maybe not handed on a silver platter, but the means to achieve what is necessary.
    Jas 4:2
“Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.”
Ask not for what? First it has to be salvation, and then all other things will be added thru prayer and supplication (to be humbled down/ weak with humbleness/ as a little child).
God’s Master Plan (there is so much more) but basically; Which side are you on? He wants to know, by the freewill that is handed to everyone accountable. Are you a fence sitter, swaying like a reed in the wind, not knowing where you stand? Many fence sitters are in Church today. They say one thing with their presence and singing and prayers, but how do they vote, and what have they decided is acceptable? Only abortion up to 10 weeks? Gay marriages as being acceptable as a part of Christianity? Claiming to be for God on one hand, but voting for liberals and progressives with the other? Every word and action of each and everyone accountable, is recorded in the Books of Life in Heaven, by the Angels, so God can see where His children stood in this Flesh Life. Judgment Day is fast approaching

    • socalbeachdude

Can’t you stay even remotely on topic with this article?

    • Carl

“I can pray for the salvation and end to suffering for the whole of
Venezuela and Yemen, along with millions of other believers, but until
there is a change of heart in those that are part of the suffering”

That is nowhere in the bible.

Who told you all of this? Did you get it from your parents or a preacher?

      • JC Teecher

It is called, rightly dividing of the Word, and listening to the Holy Spirit. You will never know that understanding until you have a change of heart.
Maybe God has you blinded for a reason, I don’t know, for that is His business, and I am only able to “discern”, I don’t and can’t make final judgment calls about peoples lives and the final judgment for their souls.

  • JC Teecher

Part one of the following has now gone into moderation, and possibly will stay there along with another comment from two days ago. So please take this into consideration when reading, that the following, if it remains up and available, is only part two. Aggravating!

    • Carl

You can’t really read part 2 without part 1.

    • Carl

Yes but what exactly is his plan? If he is omniscient then none of what you describe is necessary. Where do your beliefs come from? Were you raised in a christian household?

      • JC Teecher

The flesh mind, conditioned by the World, that is basically dominated by the evil spirits, unless one is washed in the blood, can’t really fully comprehend the totality of God’s plan.

I tried and struggled, because I listened and followed the doctrines of man, for decades.
When I finally prayed and began hearing the Holy Spirit, and occasionally had prophetic dreams and even a couple out of body experiences, I was able to live more in the spirit realm.

Basically, because you are still clueless, God, through His Angels, is making records of every man, and woman that has ever lived, to see if they are reading His letter to us, called the Holy Bible. Then,if so, are they following His Words for living in the flesh?
Are they working for the devil and themselves, or working towards being a part of the Kingdom to come, that is Eternal?
Are their lives ruled by greed and accumulating more stuff? Are they claiming to be Christians and following the Doctrines of Jesus Christ, or are they just Sunday pew potatoes doing nothing more than socializing and calling it worship? Are they looking for, and following an escapism, fly-away doctrine of man, when God said specifically that He is against it?
The pre-trib rapture lie is man’s doctrine that can lead to the Lake of fire.

Basically Carl, God wants to know who’s side are His children on, the side of liberals and atheist with Satan, or His side of life and love eternal?

God could have destroyed the third of His children that fell from grace/heaven, with Satan, but through their second chance in this Second Age, in the flesh life, He gave them freewill to decide once and for all.
Some never had a chance to learn in this life, so there will be an opportunity to learn during the 1000 year reign on earth, whereby Christ will become the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and the teaching of truth they will have.

What I stated was 100% correct as to the price of eggs last week at both Vons and Ralphs where you could buy them for 99 cents at both stores and you could stock up on as many as you wanted. By the way, eggs keep for a long time in your refrigerator, so I’d suggest you stock up the next time soon they go on sale again for 99 cents a dozen.

    • awb22

That’s funny, because I called Von’s and they said they were $2.99 a dozen.

You can’t count stores requiring club memberships without factoring in the annual cost of the membership, doh!

Misrepresenting facts, once again, quelle surprise!!!

      • socalbeachdude

I clearly stated that the eggs that were on sale in the Just-4-You internet coupon section were 18 COUNT LARGE GRADE AA EGGS at Vons.com which works out to be 99 cents per dozen which was in fact the case for the week up through Tuesday May 2, 2017 at Vons here in Southern California.

        • awb22

That’s not what you said, but since you have, what are they now?

There’s no question health care and basic food items have seen the highest rates of inflation since 2008. If fuel prices were to increase due to some black swan event, food would become even more scarce, and out of the reach of the dying middle class. I realize that doesn’t affect you, you S O B.

HAPPY DAYS ARE HERE AGAIN IN FRANCE!

Emmanuel Macron, 39, becomes France’s youngest president after a crushing 31-point victory over Marine Le Pen: Outsider without a party will move into the Elysee Palace with his wife Brigitte, 64

Centrist Emmanuel Macron is set to become France’s youngest president after the latest exit polls suggest he has won 65.5 per cent of the vote in a tense election which could decide the future of Europe. According to Belgian exit polls, former banker Macron, 39, has secured a landslide victory as voters are believed to have rejected Marine Le Pen’s populist vision of France.

If the latest polls are correct, it would be a special victory given Macron’s new party En Marche! ‘On the Move’ has existed for just more than a year. However, the latest polls suggest voter turnout in the election was far lower than the 80 per cent in the first round of polling two weeks ago.

What does any of that nonsense have to do with the topic of this article or anything else of any relevance?

    • JC Teecher

One day, when the silver cord parts, and you have a lot of nothing to say about the things that are most important to life eternal, and then, what you call nonsense, will be very relevant and more important, 1000 times more important than all the crap you spew on a daily basis.

You are not fooling anyone, well maybe a few of the lost, but one day, all these articles and such, will not even be an after thought, as life eternal will be everything.
      Have a good trip.
      Back to block for you.

You only live once and I’d suggest you get a clue as to that and start dealing with REALITY rather than wallowing in utterly meaningless delusions and fantasies rooting in 2000 year old fables.

    Destabilizing Venezuela for Regime Change

    http://rense.com/general96/VENZregimechg.html

  • Tatiana Covington

As for Vz, the people there should kill and eat all socialists, then go back to free enterprise and nothing else, because that is the only thing that works!

  • PPTA

The globalist Group wanted Venezuela. Read the Book, by Daniel Estulin, “The True story of the Bilderberg Group” They are already in Brazil and Argentina. Also some of the Other South American Countries. They destabilized that country and now want their type of Government put in. A dictatorship. The people would more than likely welcome that to a lawless country with no food. It will look like a God send. But in reality be a very bad thing making slaves out of the people.

So why isn’t Ivanka concerned about these poor little babies?

  • Defiant

“Venezuela and Yemen were both once very prosperous nations, but now parents are literally watching their children starve to death as the economies of both nations continue to utterly collapse.”

This is a direct (if delayed) result of the political decisions these countries embraced. I’m not saying they deserve these problems…but let’s not act like it’s a natural disaster. They need to stop allowing folks like Chavez run their countries.

Don’t tell the Americans about starving kids because they will feed them depleted uranium

Are we supposed to feel bad for these countries? They hate our way of life instead of doing what we do the condem us. I’m not going to help muslims and communists. You reap what you sow.

    Yemen, more American war crimes.

“…And most Americans don’t realize this, but the U.S. military has
contributed to the civil war by conducting airstrikes. It is
essentially a proxy war between Saudi Arabia and Iran, and both sides
    are absolutely determined to win….”

got any PROOF that Iran is involved in Yemen?
