Global Leaders Rattle Their Sabers As The World Marches Toward War

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

The World Marches Toward War - Public DomainIran just conducted another provocative missile test, more U.S. troops are being sent to the Middle East, it was just announced that the U.S. military will be sending B-1 and B-52 bombers to South Korea in response to North Korea firing four missiles into the seas near Japan, and China is absolutely livid that a U.S. carrier group just sailed through contested waters in the South China Sea.  We have entered a season where leaders all over the globe feel a need to rattle their sabers, and many fear that this could be leading us to war.  In particular, Donald Trump is going to be under the microscope in the days ahead as other world leaders test his resolve.  Will Trump be able to show that he is tough without going over the edge and starting an actual conflict?

The Iranians made global headlines on Thursday when they conducted yet another ballistic missile test despite being warned by Trump on numerous occasions…

As tensions between the U.S. and Iran continue to mount, the semi-official news agency Tasnim is reporting that Iran’s Revolutionary Guard has successfully conducted yet another ballistic missile test, this time from a navy vessel.  Called the Hormuz 2, these latest missiles are designed to destroy moving targets at sea at ranges up to 300 km (180 miles).

Reports on the latest test quotes Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the IRGC’s Aerospace Force, who confirmed that “the naval ballistic missile called Hormuz 2 successfully destroyed a target which was 250 km away.”

The missile test is the latest event in a long-running rivalry between Iran and the United States in and around the Strait of Hormuz, which guards the entrance to the Gulf. About 20% of the world’s oil passes through the waterway, which is less than 40 km wide at its narrowest point.

So how will Trump respond to this provocation?

Will he escalate the situation?  If he does nothing he will look weak, but if he goes too far he could risk open conflict.

Elsewhere in the Middle East, things are already escalating.  It is being reported that “several hundred Marines” are on the ground in Syria to support an assault on the city of Raqqa, and another 1,000 troops could be sent to Kuwait to join the fight against ISIS any day now.  The following comes from Zero Hedge

While the Trump administration waits to decide if it will send 1,000 troops to Kuwait to fight ISIS, overnight the Washington Post reported that the US has sent several hundred Marines to Syria to support an allied local force aiming to capture the Islamic State stronghold of Raqqa. Defence officials said they would establish an outpost from which they could fire artillery at IS positions some 32km (20 miles) away. US special forces are already on the ground, “advising” the Kurdish-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) alliance according to the BBC.

The defence officials told the Washington Post that the Marines were from the San Diego-based 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, and that they had flown to northern Syria via Djibouti and Kuwait. They are to set up an artillery battery that could fire powerful 155mm shells from M777 howitzers, the officials said. Another marine expeditionary unit carried out a similar mission at the start of the Iraqi government’s operation to recapture the city of Mosul from IS last year.

Meanwhile, China is spitting mad for several reasons.  For one, the Chinese are absolutely furious that South Korea has allowed the U.S. to deploy the THAAD missile defense system on their soil…

China is lashing out at South Korea and Washington for the deployment of a powerful missile defense system known as the Terminal High Altitude Area Defense system, or THAAD, deposited at the Osan Air Base in South Korea on Monday evening.

The deployment of THAAD follows several ballistic missile tests by North Korea in recent months, including the launch of four missiles on Monday, three of which landed in the sea off the coast of Japan. Though THAAD would help South Korea protect itself from a North Korean missile attack, China is vocally protesting the deployment of the system, claiming it upsets the “strategic equilibrium” in the region because its radar will allow the United States to detect and track missiles launched from China.

Of course the U.S. needed to do something, because the North Koreans keep rattling their sabers by firing off more ballistic missiles toward Japan.

But it is one thing to deploy a missile defense system, and it is another thing entirely to fly strategic nuclear bombers into the region.

So if the Chinese were upset when THAAD was deployed, how will they feel when B-1 and B-52 bombers start showing up in South Korea?

Earlier this week, trigger-happy Kim pushed his luck once more when he fired off four ballistic missiles into the seas near Japan.

Now US military chiefs are reportedly planning to fly in B-1 and B-52 bombers – built to carry nuclear bombs – to show America has had enough.

South Korea and the US have also started their annual Foal Eagle military exercise sending a strong warning to North Korea over its actions.

A military official said 300,000 South Korean troops and 15,000 US personnel are taking part in the operation.

The Trump administration has openly stated that all options “are on the table” when it comes to North Korea, and that includes a military strike.

It has been more than 60 years since the Korean War ended, but many are concerned that we may be closer to a new Korean War than we have been at any point since that time.

And of course our relationship with China is tumbling precariously downhill as well.  Another reason why the Chinese are extremely upset with the Trump administration is because a U.S. Navy carrier battle group led by the USS Carl Vinson sailed past islands that China claims in the South China Sea just a few weeks ago.

In China, the media openly talks about the possibility of war with the United States over the South China Sea.  Most Americans are not even aware that the South China Sea is a very serious international issue, but over in China this is a major focus.

And the U.S. military has recently made several other moves in the region that have angered the Chinese

Also in February, the U.S. sent a dozen F-22 Raptor stealth fighters to Tindal AB in northern Australia, the closest Australian military airbase to China, for coalition training and exercises. It’s the first deployment of that many F-22s in the Pacific.

And if that didn’t get the attention of the Chinese government, the U.S. just tested four Trident II submarine-launched ballistic missiles during a nuclear war exercise, sending the simulated weapons 4,200 miles from the coast of California into the mid-Pacific. It’s the first time in three years the U.S. has conducted tests in the Pacific, and the first four-missile salvo since the end of the Cold War.

I can understand the need to look tough, but eventually somebody is going to go too far.

If you are familiar with my work, then you know that I believe that war is coming.  Things in the Middle East continue to escalate, and it is only a matter of time before a great war erupts between Israel and her neighbors.  Meanwhile, U.S. relations with both Russia and China continue to deteriorate, and this is something that I have been warning about for a very long time.

We should hope for peace, but we should also not be blind to the signs of war that are starting to emerge all over the planet.  Relatively few people anticipated the outbreak of World War I and World War II in advance, and I have a feeling that the same thing will be true for World War III.

  • Cinderella Man

Sometimes war is the answer. Tim Kaine’s son is a punk. Wikileaks has backed the demo rats into a corner. They will have to admit Trump was wiretapped because they monitor EVERYBODY! He will not be impeached it will be CW2. And the thread will be hijacked by socalbeachdude in 3…2…1

            lol

          • sister soldier

They don’t even allow for the decency of calling them coffins. They are simply grave liners that the coffins/caskets are placed inside of when buried in the ground. This new “FEMA” simply dumps the remains in something that is designed to be humiliating.

        • William Lutz

Purchase guns with ammo, undergo emergency training, design infiltration plans, shelter construction, etc. Also live life to the max before the signs of Armageddon emerge.

        • If you’re asking that question now, then just forget it.

          • Dean

I have storable food, water filtration, ammo and medical supplies. I’m just not going to overdue it. If there is a nuclear exchange then my preps will probably be useless to me anyway because I’ll either be dead if I’m at ground zero or dying of radiation sickness depending where the fallout area is. Also don’t forget all the different Bio-Weapons that could be released. How do you get ready for that?

          • sister soldier

            Amen Dean.

KOREA IS ABSOLUTELY NONE OF THE BUSINESS OF THE USA.

          • BelowZero88

Did you even read the article? Then why is Trump doing what he’s doing if its no business of the usa.

          • socalbeachdude

Donald Trump is not only dead wrong but a TOTAL FOOL to even consider engage in warmongering with Korea and Stephen Lendman sums up the situation perfectly in the article I posted both at the top of the comments and directly below:

Trump Rejects Diplomacy With North Korea – Stephen Lendman

Truman’s war never ended. An uneasy armistice persists. The heavily fortified 2.5 mile Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) separates North and South. Occasional incidents occur.

America needs enemies to justify bloated military spending. Pyongyang is America’s longstanding Asian punching bag.

It’s wanted normalized relations for decades. Washington wants adversarial ones instead.

In response to its recent ballistic missile tests, neocon US UN envoy Nikki Haley denounced DPRK leader Kim Jong-un, calling him irrational, displaying “unbelievable, irresponsible arrogance…”

“(A)ll options are on the table,” she added. “We are making those decisions now and we will act accordingly,” provocatively suggesting possible war.

Washington rejects diplomacy. China asked the Trump administration to halt joint military activities with South Korea (Pyongyang considers preparations for war) in exchange for the DPRK suspending its nuclear and ballistic missile programs.

State Department spokesman Mark Toner rejected Beijing’s proposal, saying “(w)hat we’re doing in terms of our defense cooperation with South Korea is in no way comparable to the blatant disregard that North Korea has shown with respect to international law.”

No nations more egregiously violate it than America, Israel and their rogue partners in high crimes. North Korea never attacked another country throughout its post-WW II history. Truman’s war turned much of the country to rubble.

Taking its cue from Washington, South Korea also rejected halting its military exercises, its UN envoy Cho Tae-yul, saying “(t)his is not the time for us to talk about freezing or dialogue with North Korea.”

Next week, Secretary of State Tillerson meets with his Japanese, Chinese and South Korean counterparts, talks focusing on Pyongyang’s “advancing nuclear and missile threat,” according to the State Department.

Despite strong objections by Russia and China, citing a serious threat to their security, Washington began deploying Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) anti-ballistic missile systems in South Korea.

Discussed in a previous article, they’re designed to intercept and down short, medium and intermediate-range ballistic missiles in their terminal phase. Instead of warheads, they rely on impact kinetic energy to destroy incoming missiles.

Deploying THAADs is more about targeting Russia and China than North Korea, both countries warning of escalating tensions and instigating an arms race.

Is Trump contemplating Korean war 2.0? Launching it would be madness.

          • socalbeachdude

Donald Trump is a fine and wonderful person and a great President, but would indeed become a TOTAL FOOL AND TOOL if he gets goaded into bellicosity with a tiny little irrelevant country like North Korea.

          • MEP325

I agree completely. North Korea poses no threat to US interests or security. That country is so impoverished and it does not have the resources to engage in a conflict for a sustained amount of time. Trump would indeed be an utter fool to waste resources on the irrelevent North Korea. On the flipside, South Korea and Japan are allies of the US so I can see why he is taking action. He doesn’t want to be seen as a do-nothing for US allies but he also needs to be level-headed about this. Global tensions are high right now and these delicate situations can easily spiral out of control. It doesn’t take much to light the spark of war.

          • SnodtBlossom

          • Blankety-Blank

While CASTIEL loses credibility by being rude, you are somewhat mistaken. A hundred years ago, Korea was none of our business. Certainly our invasion 6 decades ago was stupid, a continuation of French colonialist efforts. But as weapons and platforms have expanded in power and range, and considering our alliance obligations with nations such as Japan & South Korea, and looking at how psychotic KIm Jon Dingdong (I really can’t remember his name) is, and how aggressive he will be when he chooses to, and recognizing that China (quite likely more powerful than us because they haven’t spread themselves thin all over the world) will support Kim, and considering that North Korea has been selling rockets & nuclear equipment and possibly nuclear weapons to select other repressive regimes, and given the nature of human idiocy. I regret that you are decidedly wrong.

However, those who say we should interfere because he’s awful to his own population are probably wrong. There are too many countries which meet that criterion. We’d be attacking half the world. Oh, we’re already doing that…

          • CASTIEL

Being rude or being nice, the truth and the facts are always present. Saying that in this world, war is never necessary is being at least naive…That arrogant person behaves like he knows the future and everything….but i m humble to say that : I know that I know nothing…….

        • alan

North Korea is one of our best sales generating countries in the world. We sell weapons to the South and to Japan. Thats big money, I am pretty sure Mr. Un’s great grand children will be future leaders of North Korea.
Because if we stir something up, the Red Army will come south from China and its all over for Korea and any of our ground troops.
Turn off CNN and FOX news and North Korea is no longer a problem.

          • CASTIEL

I dont see CNN or Fox news, and yes North Korea is a problem….not Lybia or Syria or Iraq when Stupid Bush or Monkey Obama attacked those countries just for oil, and let dictators like that assh#le doing those evil actions………Who knows maybe one day when those bombs fly in your direction , you change your opinion……

      • alan

But its big business for a lot of people and creates a lot of jobs. When the bombs drop you can hear the cha ching in the defense community. Just say’n.

        • socalbeachdude

Yes, alan, you are 100% correct and the MIC (Military Industrial Complex) as it is today is exactly what General Eisenhower warned us about back in the 1950s.

      • Sista Sabuda

It is if the question is “how do we kill a bunch of people with some kind of dubious justification?”

      • jim_robert

Generally, you are right. But not always. Perhaps you think the 100 MILLION the communists murdered last century was OK, but I don’t. That being said, I would have fought in WWII, but not WWI, the Mexican American War, the Spanish American or Mexican American War, and while I love the Founding Fathers, I wonder if the Revolutionary War was justified theologically. I personally think Vietnam, as flawed as it was, did stop Communism for a long time, and in fact the only reason it fell was after the Democrat House quit funding it, leading to its demise in 1975. I personally know a LOT of boat people who lost family and friends. But war is a very tough issue! And the military industrial complex is also a concern, I agree.

You might have found war an answer if it was YOUR children, YOUR wife who was taken away by the Nazis

    • justsomeguy05

War is only the answer to those who are propagandized into thinking that the wrong question needs to be answered, and that the wrong forces must answer it.

  • William Lutz

Michael, I’ve been reading your articles for a few years, ever since Obama was reelected, and I agree with your predictions. I see where you’re coming from and I relate to the information shared by you. I wish I could warn a lot of people about the upcoming fiasco, but many of the individuals I know seem unaware and unwilling to get informed about the difficult situation that we will face ahead. I can tell that they don’t want to listen to any of it.

I also have a strong gut feeling that our problems and strife are not going to disappear anytime soon. We’ve already been suffering for too long and we can’t prolong it for a lot longer. Hence, I believe that this war is inevitable and must be fought. We need to try to destroy our enemies and rebuild mankind. Let’s not waste our time attempting to reach peaceful resolutions to our conflict. Hey folks, wish for peace all you want, but I believe that it’s unrealistic at this point.

    • Martin

There will be no rebuilding of mankind after atomic war.
Major nations like US, Russia or China would be hit by hundreds if not thousands of warheads.
Those who survive will be concerned about finding enough worms for a meal and not about rebuilding mankind.

      • jakartaman

Building a society after a nuclear war will take a LOT of time and will be a slow arduous task but it would be done and would have to be done.
I personally don’t believe it will be an all out war
It will be a limited Nuclear war then the parties will stand down. Also, EMP’s will be used and that will cause untold deaths.

        • JC Teecher

I agree 100%. If there were going to be world wide nuclear destruction, then God would not have given us the prophecies that He has about all the events leading up to the final battle.

In saying that, I could see nuclear in isolated areas that would eventually cause deaths spread out over a period of years, as was with Hiroshima, and the other one.

One prophecy speaks of Iranians/Persians being spread out throughout the world because of some event taking place. I think it has to do with their nuclear manufacturing, and /or the destruction of it.

          • socalbeachdude

            Huh?

      • socalbeachdude

There will be no use of nuclear weapons. M.A.D.

Will it be a world wide economic collapse that leads to war or a war that triggers the economic collapse.

Yes, thank you President Thump, for proposing to increase an already bloated U.S. military budget. Gotta keep the flag-waving patriotards happy and the profits flowing to the military/security complex.

A bully is at heart a posturing coward who targets the weak and defenseless because they are the ones least able to respond in kind. It’s the reason the “brave” U.S. military repeatedly attacks wedding parties, funerals, and gatherings of village elders across the Middle East but has so far avoided a shooting war with Russia or China. In spite of their bravado, the U.S. bullies know that open conflict with either Russia or China would likely result in humiliation and defeat and the end of their laughingstock of an “empire.”

But never underestimate the arrogance and stupidity of bloodthirsty U.S. warmongers. The killing of innocents, whether in American abortion mills or abroad in conflicts deliberately stoked by U.S. militarism, is now a national pastime. The American bully is desperately in a need of a comeuppance and is very likely to get it, and soon.

      • Thomas D Guastavino

“A bully is at heart a posturing coward who targets the weak and defenseless because they are the ones least able to respond in kind” Thank you for clearly demonstrating my point that it not in the best interest of the US to show weakness.

        • Mike Smithy

Unfortunately, the Deep State and it’s minions shall have their war whether we like it or not.

          • JC Teecher

Agreed, but we have to make a stand now, or eventually be watching our skin melt off our bodies because of N Korean, and Iranian nukes lobbed into major populations here in ussag.

Iran is the number one threat

          • socalbeachdude

Iran poses NO THREAT OF ANY KIND TO ANYONE and is one of the most peaceful countries in the Middle East. The single biggest threat – and only country in the Middle East with nuclear weapons – is, of course, ISRAEL.

          • guest

            Nailed it.

Israel is the 800lb gorilla in the room that faux conservatives and “warvangelicals” refuse to see.

No doubt in my mind that if Israel turned Iran to glass tomorrow, followers of the “Prince of Peace” would be euphoric.

These are the same people who condemn adultery, fornication, drunkenness and a host of other “sins.” But mass murder? Nah.

            Absolute, unadulterated hypocrisy.

          • Dean

Isreal is under control of the Rothschilds and they are the ones that direct its genocidal policy along with the US and many other countries. I’ve read you’re above arguments and agree that the US/NATO should have never went into Iraq because there were no weapons of mass destruction but we the people didn’t know that and we didn’t know the truth who really might have been behind 911(Saudi Arabia/Mossad). All we did when we took out saddam who was a dictator but at least kept everyone in line was create a power vacuum that eventually gave birth to ISIS. I agree also that the Libyan war was also unjustified because I read about that Gadaffi was a good leader and heard an interview of two Americans that lived there that Libya was a thriving country before Hillary and Obama destroyed it. If you were the president then what would you do about it then?(Israel) Don’t forget Israel is the apple of Gods eye and if anyone does anything to Israel then Gods fury will be on that country. And I wouldn’t approve of Israel turning Iran into glass or vice versa.

          • guest

If I were president, I would treat Israel as the pariah state that it is.

Israel the apple of God’s eye? Give me a break.

Nowhere — except perhaps in North Korea or Saudi Arabia — is hatred of the Gospel more pronounced than in Israel. They would crucify Christ all over again if given the chance.

The promise of blessing and cursing was given to Abraham ONLY, not to his descendants and certainly NOT to those claiming to be his descendants and then using that imagined privilege for gain.

The fiction that Israel is “untouchable” has completely hardened the hearts of Christians toward the abuses of Palestinians by Israel. The IDF has murdered thousands of Palestinian children, and so-called “Christians” in the US couldn’t care less.

You want to understand why the US is the warmongering, bellicose, bloodthirsty nation it is? It is largely because faux evangelicals have lost their first love, and as a result worship Israel rather than Jesus.

          • Dean

Genesis: 17:7 and Genesis: 12:3. I can’t argue that Israel is doing evil things now but in the end times they will have a “Great Revival.”

          • guest

I’m no Bible scholar, but I know enough to say that the covenant relationship in 17:7 is FAITH based. That’s why Paul wrote in Galatians 3 that “There is neither Jew nor Greek…for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.”

The notion that Jews (and by extension, Israel) have some sort of “special” deal with God because of their heritage is complete hogwash. A descendant of Abraham is anybody who claims the promises of God by faith in obedience to His will.

And that would currently exclude most modern-day Jews.

          • guest

            You are correct.

Here’s a quote from Nazi leader Herman Goring. See if it doesn’t perfectly describe current US attempts to prod skeptics into supporting another war using “terrorism” as the justification:

“Naturally the common people don’t want war…but after all, it is the leaders of a country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in every country.”

The Deep State will get its war, largely because faux conservatives will give unquestioned support to any conflict that comes wrapped in the flag.

It’s not in the best interest of ANY nation to show weakness. To do so is to open itself up to economic and/or military exploitation by rapacious U.S. interests.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but you seem to think the U.S. or its allies/vassals are somehow being threatened or “bullied.” I contend that the U.S. is the world’s biggest bully, that it has been meddling and interfering in other nations’ affairs for decades, and that those who are fed up with an arrogant U.S. militarism are completely justified in resisting it…with force if necessary.

            Better their innocents, than ours.

          • guest

It should always bother you when innocent people die, especially in undeclared wars undertaken for ulterior motives and on the flimsiest of pretexts.

The “War on Terror” was based completely on the lie of Iraqi involvement in 9/11. It has since morphed into a global effort to eradicate resistance to US hegemony. In the process of fighting “terror,” the US military engages in indiscriminate bombing and strafing campaigns that kill innocent people, many of them children. Opposition to this murderous policy naturally gives rise to the very terrorism that the policy is supposed to discourage. Thus, the more the military engages terrorism, the more terrorists it creates, in a self-reinforcing feedback loop.

If the US were serious about ending terrorism, it would disengage its forces from the Middle East, cease its bombing campaigns, and above all, stop interfering in the affairs of other nations in an arrogant attempt to create vassal states subject to the American government and US dollar dominance.

But that makes too much sense, which is why it will never happen. The US will go to war to preserve its pathetic “empire,” and the next innocent people to die may just be your loved ones.

          • JC Teecher

So ISIS is a lie, and the little children, christian children, that had their heads whacked off, while being videoed, was all a lie and set up for propaganda purposes?

If Trump wants to make America great again, he needs to do what God ordained for the Israelites of old to do, and that is to “kill” by any means necessary, those that seek to destroy us.
They are anti-God, and anti American, and should be taken down/killed, so they can go before their Creator, to be sentenced to whichever dimension of Hell, He so chooses to send them.

          • guest

Israel had God’s permission to do that.

Somehow I doubt God is going to delegate to Mr. Trump that same authority. In any case, whatever happened to “blessed are the peacemakers”?

Posts such as yours make me despair for the future of this country. It is filled top-to-bottom with a callousness and contempt for other people that borders on the psychopathic.

America is despised throughout the world largely because Americans arrogantly regard themselves as the “exceptional people” and thus exempt from the moral laws that govern the rest of humanity. Those who “seek to destroy us” become that way when we treat them as objects to exploit and to rule and not as fellow human beings with the same God-given rights as ourselves.

Recall that the rights spoken of in the Declaration of Independence apply to ALL MEN, not just some of them.

          • JC Teecher

When do N Koreans and Iranians have rights under our Constitution?

You sound more and more stupid, the more you type what is going round and round in that liberal thinking head of yours.
I have no contempt for others, that are Christian, and even for those that are non-Christian; as long as they bring no harm to me or mine. Liberals seek to kill my babies babies, and teach them sexual perversions in school.
I do have contempt for that.

I don’t believe I am “exceptional”, as you say; I am just protective over my family and loved ones. My family and then my country, first. God is always paramount to anyone or anything, he is my Heavenly Father.

          • guest

The right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are ultimately NATURAL RIGHTS and given to men by God, not government, although government can and should be a protector of those rights.

The Constitution expounds and codifies these natural rights into law. The fact that North Koreans and Iranians don’t live under our Constitution makes not one whit of difference. To say that they have no right to life or liberty because they are not US citizens is patently absurd.

Not sure what disgusts me more…the fact that atrocities committed by the US military in Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Yemen, etc. are routinely excused, or that some of the most vocal supporters of these war crimes are people who call themselves EVANGELICAL CHRISTIANS. Just unbelievable.

It’s enough to make genuine Christians want to throw up.

          • JC Teecher

How would you know what a genuine Christian is?
It sure as hell ain’t no anti God North Korean or Iranian.
There are some Christian N. Koreans, and plenty of Christian Iranians, but the majority worship an Idol god called Allah or Buddah. When they began following an Idol/fake God, they then gave up their rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

That is truth you choose to ignore.

God has every right to divide people into groups, as He sets the standards. You don’t.

You want to know what a genuine Christian is? Here you go:

“All things whatsoever that men should do to you, do ye even so to them, FOR THIS IS THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS.” Matthew 7:12

The “Golden Rule” is the outward manifestation of an inner love for other people that springs first and foremost from a love for God. We love others because they are made in God’s image, and it doesn’t matter who they are.

Flag-waving God-and-country bumpkins, warvangelicals, and other Reich-wing worshipers of the belligerent US military are long on “service” and short on “love.” They have zero compassion for others because their righteousness is self-righteousness. That’s why they divide people into “us” and “them” and why every atrocity committed against “them” meets with their approval.

In the end, these kinds of “Christians” are exactly like the Muslims they condemn. That is the truth YOU choose to ignore.

Who is this “other people” you designate?

I only see two types of people in my world, and they are not designated primarily by skin type.

There are the true Christians, that are either the wife of Christ, before ordained from the first Heaven Age, or the bride; which have yet to wed, but are virgins awaiting that wedding at His return.

The other type of people are the lost and awaiting salvation, or damnation; as it is their choice.

China needs to take care of business or Trump can take care of business. Regardless, North Korea is what happens when you fail to achieve Total Victory over an execrable foe. Iran is another. Appeasement is hoping the Alligator eats you last. We regret we are in this situation but this is the culmination of decades of craven cringing. Yes, we could lose LA but….North Korea will cease to exist. Something for Fat Kim to contemplate. This is the only language he understands. Would Hillary have drawn the line? I doubt it.

If we go to War, I won’t be surprised. Remember at the end of January Iran said they were going to DUMP the US dollar on March 21st. We are nearing that date and that will also show who Trump is really loyal to. Trump is no different than any other recent president. Remember Obama said all the right things back in 2007. This country is doomed. It’s only a matter of time.

  • JC Teecher

Donald Trump is not an Island.

he can only do so much, and protecting American Assets and Allies, is one of his main jobs as potus, that he can do, without much approval.
he got that approval when he was elected, and not “selected” like the previous four were.

He, Trump, is in this position because of “true” Christian Conservatives…”finally” making a stand by bending their knees in prayer, and God answering those prayers.

God is fed up with these rogue, Idol worshipping, heathen, gentile nations making threats against his chosen peoples, the Adamic/Hebrew, Caucasian…house of Israel, and house of Judah….and their/our allies in the world.

the proverbial shtf is about to come to fruition, and it isn’t only gonna happen in Californication.

On another note, speaker of lies, Paul Ryan has been all over the place in regards to his loyalty, for way too long, to not be a shill for someone somewhere. It is now apparent that he works for lobbiest, or worse, as he says, that the Un-affordable Care Act replacement plan he proposes, is the “best” we are gonna get.

That is the words of either a narcissist, or a pawn/shill of the likes of Odrama, or both. That is not the words of a true American Patriot and negotiator. He is bad for the Congress, and bad for America.
He is good for Big Insurance, and the continuation of death of the middle class, through legislation of demands on ignorant sheeple.
Remember why we are having to deal with this problem?
Because that same mentality was what got us to this point about health care reform.

” you can’t fully understand it until you have passed it”. More like; had it rammed down our throats, and crammed into legislation before we knew what had hit us.

I smell a big fat stinking rat, and it ain’t showing it’s face, as it is hiding something. Something that the majority would dislike and cast out of existence if all the cards were on the table and it was plain to see the full “underlying” plan.

Respectfully, just because you didn’t like or didn’t vote for the last four Presidents doesn’t mean they were “selected” instead of elected. They were elected.

      • William Lutz

That is one of my disappointments about Trump. He’s not a true Christian, despite his evangelical voters base. It boggles my mind that so called “Christians” like Michael Savage are undisturbed about his remarks on women and narcissistic temperament. All they care about is national economic interests and overreaching national security. In other words, they’re merely nationalist imperialists who turn a blind eye to everything else.

We can’t make America “great again” unless we abandon our degenerate culture and have a leader who is strong yet professes decency, humility, and civilized behavior. Bundles of cash in our wallets and absolute protection from Jihadists is not all what this nation should possess.

No, I was mocking the religion. I was only messing around. Nonetheless, not all Islam is bad.

          • JC Teecher

All Islam is bad! it is a religion based solely on lies.

There is no allah god, only satan allah.

        • Zlatko Milanovic

What does that mean JC? What is moderation?

          • JC Teecher

It is when a reply or comment, is picked up by the automatic sensor system, and is held, pending approval by the site moderator.

Certain key words are the guilty tripping devices, or sometimes just the way a word is used.

Michael has to read and release the comment. Sometimes, especially on a weekend or when Michael is tied up with some other business, it can be a day or even two, before he can get to the pending ones.

Many posters get so aggravated that they never come back, after having comments tied up for long periods.

I have just about run my course here for now, and am just waiting on the weather to break into spring, and see what happens with the economy thru March.

Rothschild is the head of the snake. Soro’s is a rothschild agent as he is very good at destabilizing countries. We are in the Middle East as Syria and Iran need a Rothschild central bank. Rothschild prints all the world’s magic fiat money then charges interest. His banks cause all the inflation, devalue your money, and all the debt scams to keep you poor. Our military is used as his enforcers. He is worth more then 50 trillion and it’s not enough, he’s sick and evil with greed. He says one day of war is more profitable then a year of peace. Russia won’t let Rothschild in their country and will arrest soro’s. Our govt let’s soro’s have more then 40 anti American organizations in our country. Rothschild goal is a evil one world govt, population reduced 90%, electronic digital currency, eventually a chip in your hand. We are seeing the last chapter of our Bible coming true. Choose your side wisely. Read about Russia’s Christian revival started ten years ago. Putin had a conversion. He’s a nationalist and doesn’t want war but knows the globalist plan to murder and rape Russia again. Putin knows it will go nuclear and wants to save as many Russian souls as possible. Since Russia’s rivival they have come up with some fabulously powerful new weapons, made possible with God’s help?

Let us take nuclear weapons off the table.
They come with too much radiation baggage no matter who uses them.
What North Korea needs more than a semi-communist state and dictator is a way to feed itself and to give it an economic overhaul that will allow the common average everyday person a way to feed themselves properly and a way for their families to feel secure in their own homes.
They do not need someone that is going to make them look over their shoulder every second of the day.
They do not need a nut case that thinks he is some kind of god.
They are China’s responsibility and are viewed in China as their younger brother. They are a dramatic image of not what to do. They have been poor from the word go and continue to be so.
The chief losers in a nuclear war in the area are the neighbors of North Korea including both China and India. Japan also stands to lose a lot.
For North Korea? It is suicide on a scale never seen before even in China. South Korea is the obvious loser.
Surprisingly enough, we have conventional weapons quite capable of wiping North Korea off the map. But why do we need to do so?
No radiation, no problem for any of the existing neighbors around this foolish dictator.
The key here is what does anyone have to gain by pursuing nuclear war?
The people selling these weapons need to be taken down.
Because they are the only winners here. They obviously do not emphasis what is wrong with nuclear.
I guarantee you that we have the non-nuclear conventional war down to an art. All war at this point in time is obsolete.
The only real war we need is one in which every individual on this planet can survive economically in such a manner that everyone wins.
    That would take intelligence.

    • socalbeachdude

      Indeed.

  • jsmith

War? I hardly believe that. So do the elite that like to keep us on the edge, to control us. It’s is all about control. Do you seriously believe they would actually take us to nuclear war? That would mean and end to their lifestyle as well. That would mean they can’t enjoy their private islands, and their yachts, huh, because of duh, radiation poisoning. They are not dumb. So you think these elites want to live underground for the next 50 years? And you don’t think Trump talks to the Chinese, and the Russians, and vice versa with the Chinese reigning in the fat little guy in North Korea? No, it’s all about control of our populations, to keep us intimidated with fear. It’s all done to keep us from the real truth that the world is buried in debt, and I’m surprised Michael hasn’t figured this out. Or maybe he has. Do any of you seriously think that anti-ballistic systems are going to keep 7000 Russian missiles from hitting us? Well, even though I voted for Donald, it looks like the banksters straightened him out, and he got the message. Are any of you getting the message?

  • Richard O. Mann

Thermonuclear war is a high possibility at this time. One well placed nuke will send the US back to the dark ages via EMP. Nothing, except for a few military bases, has been hardened against EMP. Once the lights go out, we will not be able to communicate and will not know what is happening. It just keeps getting closer and closer. First the big exit, and then the big purge.

War is the most despicable, barbaric, and savage results of human intelligence failures imaginable and NEVER ACCOMPLISHES ANYTHING. World War I in 1914-1917 was billed as the “WAR TO END ALL WARS” and then a little more than 20 years later came World War II in which more 50 MILLION PEOPLE DIED and hundreds of millions suffered tragically with the effects and damages still being felt right up to this day.

In the 1960s with Vietnam, many brave, strong, and powerful voices ROSE AGAINST WAR and the most eloquent, profound, powerful, and enduring voice of them all was Joan Baez.

EPICENTER OF GLOBAL FINANCIAL COLLAPSE IS CHINA

China’s currency is set to tumble — and it’s not even Trump’s fault

Jitters over China’s currency, which haunted markets in early 2016, are back — and it’s not just because of Donald Trump.

The yuan will decline in 2017 for a fourth straight year as authorities tap into the central bank’s $2.998 trillion of foreign reserves to recapitalize an ailing banking system, according to a top expert on the country’s economy.

Using the reserves to address banks’ troubled loans would leave less firepower for the central bank to intervene in currency markets and prevent a steeper slide in the yuan, said Diana Choyleva, chief economist at Enodo Economics in London, who has been covering China for 16 years and wrote a book on the country in 2011.

Such a depreciation would likely rattle global markets: In early 2016, investor anxiety about a possible yuan devaluation sent the Standard & Poor’s 500 Index down 5.1% in a single month. Since mid-2014, China has burned through almost $1 trillion of its reserves to keep the currency from falling faster. Last month, they fell below the psychologically important threshold of $3 trillion for the first time in almost five years.

“The big difference between 2017 and 2016 is that there’ll be a lot more policy action and as a result a lot more volatility, affecting not only China’s own markets but having a global impact,” Choyleva said in an interview. “The worry about China debt will come back in force, and that is just likely to raise risk aversion.”

China’s debt could cause economic disaster ‘worse than 2008’ – Express

CHINA’S mounting debts are a huge cause for concern and could blow up into a financial crisis worse than 2008, experts have warned.

The colossal country has seen its GDP to debt ratio soar to eye-watering levels, from 148 per cent at the end of 2007 to around 277 per cent at the end of 2016.

Fears over China’s slowing economy triggered a huge stock market crash in 2015 and again at the start of last year.

However, policymakers managed to ease fears with actions to prop up markets and the economy.

At the end of last year, the Asian economy was growing by a bumper 6.8 per cent.

But the expansion is being fuelled by spiralling debts.

And its feared the economy could start to slowdown in the coming months, as actions by officials begins to fade.

        Absolute nonsense.

To be for peace is NOT to be a pacifist.

It is simply to recognize the moral insanity of war and to do everything possible to prevent it. This attitude is perfectly consistent with “peace through strength.”

Those who agitate for war are nihilists and barbarians who stand for nothing except death and destruction. Their motto is that of Thrasymachus in Plato’s Republic: MIGHT MAKES RIGHT.

In a sane society, such people would be outcasts, but here in the United States of Ameridumbs, they rule. And with the support of millions of so-called “Christians.”

No wonder the US military brazenly strides across the world brandishing its billy club and threatening those who refuse to submit to US hegemony. No wonder these remorseless killers murder the innocent without a second thought. They are the visible manifestation of the national mind, which has become collectively INSANE.

Wars and rumors of wars are to be expected as Jesus tells us in Matt 24:6.

But a global war (world war 3) is not likely to happen until the Red Horse Rider comes during the great tribulation. (Rev 6:4) Even then, this world war won’t involve anything that would make the earth uninhabitable like a nuclear exchange would. Jesus tells us that the world will be like the people were in the days of Lot and the days of Noah. They (who belong to this world) will be carrying on with business as usual right up to the hour when Jesus returns, even with disaster and destruction all around them from the plagues of the great tribulation. (Luke 18:26-30) This couldn’t happen if everyone were dead or in a fallout shelter.

But even before the Red horse rider comes to bring global war, we are told to expect false peace and security. (1Thess 5:3) That is where everything is heading. This will be the start of the great tribulation. First, the White horse rider will bring false peace and security. Then the Red horse rider will come suddenly to take away that false peace. (Revelation 6:1-8; Zechariah
6:1-8; 1:8-15) After that, all the other plagues of the great tribulation described in Revelation will occur.

Followers of Jesus Christ should expect the world’s false peace and security to be our persecution. But the Lord says, “I am very angry with the other nations that enjoy peace and security. I was only a little angry with my people, but the nations punished them far beyond my intentions. Therefore…I have returned to show mercy to Jerusalem…” (Zechariah 1:15-17 NLT)

But; there is now violence, terrorism, fear and trembling because of war in the lands. Not all war is flesh against flesh, but spirit against spirit, as well.

We are seeing both right now, but the flesh against flesh all around, is not fully manifest in all the lands, but it is on the horizon, and it will “not” be the great tribulation.
As there are two tribulations. Seven years of the tribulations of Satan (by his evil spirits only) and a few months of Satan’s full on tribulation, after he is here for a while, for pushing mankind to take his mark.

The Great tribulation (by God) is at the end of Satan’s little rule on earth as he sits in the Holy place, and it is poured out as the “wrath of God” to try once and for all to turn the hearts of men back to Him.
Then Jesus Christ returns as the Messiah, to pour out the cups of wrath and make an end to Satan’s rule over the earth during the final battle aka Armageddon.

      Mic 3:4
Then shall they cry unto the LORD, but he will not hear them: he will even hide his face from them at that time, as they have behaved themselves ill in their doings.
      Mic 3:5
Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.

Why do they cry Peace? Not because they are in peace and safety, but because they desire it.
Which means they are in war; both kinds. This only becomes deeper and deeper from here on out, until the false messiah returns, and brings a faux peace and safety to the world, for a short spell. He comes in peacefully and prosperously, as it is written.

Then all hell breaks loose, for a short season.

Here is what you should know and understand:

God hates idolatry and punishes nations for this.
Even today, there are many nations that worship false gods.
Some worship Buddha and some Allah,
      while others worship their ancestors.
None of these are the One, True God
and God is a jealous God that visits them with discipline who are worshiping false gods.

However, most of what you purport, out from the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ, the Bible and about the tribulation, has been fulfilled.
Satan is bound and that limits him more. Christ is on the throne now. If you are born again, then we who are in the Kingdom of Christ now here on earth, are wielding the sword and the spirit. We are co-consummators with Christ by the Spirit.

    Relax Michael!

The U.S. since end of WW2 have always treated any country with a foreign policy independent from that of the U.S. as enemy.

Any country who perform military exercise without the Pentagon approval is enemy, a target for war. And so Iran, which just exercise its sovereign right to test its defense, as U.S. have done a million times, but without asking for Pentagon permission, will be invaded by Trump. Likewise for North Korea.

Other big countries who dare to have foreign polices independent from the U.S. are Russia, China, India. They are of course enemies.

This is called America policing the world. America favorite world policing weapon system is its aircraft and troop carriers. This is why it has 20, half of them super aircraft carrier and half assault carriers. But there is a ‘catch’.

First some basics: The U.S. possesses 12 aircraft carrier battle groups with 10 operating all the time. Each battle group is worth about $100 billion and require 15,000 men. This is a force worth in total $1.5 – $2 trillion including ground support; 200,000 men in total. That’s a lot of meat sitting around and this is why the admirals are always itching for some actions.

Here’s the catch. This mighty armada have never won a sea battle, less a naval war. It’s biggest deployment was in Vietnam, where up to 4 carriers were used round the clock in heavy actions over years. One carrier nearly blew itself up. It lost the war.

The American carrier grand fleet single biggest success was off the coast of Libya. President Reagan sent two carriers that where powerful F14 and F18 bombed his tents and wiped out his presidential ‘palace’. It lasted for 2 days.

So this is the practical purpose of the mighty carrier battle groups – to threaten and raid third world dictatorships. After each raid, CNN will carry the splendid action footage for the enjoyment of the taxpayers. Thus ensuring continued funding.

What about Iran, and even China? Are you kidding? Today, they all possess advanced carrier-buster missiles. China have a thousand of them. A dozen or two will be fired at any carrier at sea within 1000km, a dual hit will sink. A sink is a certainty. The American admirals know this very well. They will stay away. But they will put up a very good show – the beautiful ships sailing around the enemy, test firing missiles, launching of jet fighters, lots of noise.

Actually use them for war? No way. Why the beautiful fleet might get damaged! There is no money to replace them. Besides, what admirals will risk demotion.

The fervor to rebuild the Third Temple on the temple mount in Jerusalem has reached a crescendo. This means what evangelical Christians call the rapture is absolutely imminent. The rapture first, then the emergence of the AC (look to Athens) and False Prophet (look to Rome), the rebuilt Temple (Jerusalem a trembling cup) and then war. With Jesuit Jerry Brown (Governor Moonbeam) back in the saddle again in California driving his VW through Haight/Ashbury humming Kumbaya we are truly in the last minutes.

    • JC Teecher

The rapture crapture lie is a feel good ploy, used by Satan, and his evil forces to set up ignorant Christians/aka sheeple, to be led directly into submission and deception, when he arrives as Antichrist, and causing the majority/whole world to follow him.

He will not be in long red underwear, with horns and a pitch fork, but will look like royalty and holiness, claiming to be the Messiah.

I suggest you read history of the Korean War. Especially that part (if you can find it, but not in any U.S. history books) about Gen. MacArthur multi-division army got blown out of the water by China forces as he began his invasion of China from the Yalu River border. This is the single biggest defeat of U.S. forces in history, for which Gen. MacArthur was fired. And this epic defeat is why the Korean War was not won by either side.

Today’s situation is of course much different. China is much much stronger, NK is a powerful buffer, and SK can be wiped out with relative ease using missiles. The U.S. lost 1/4 million men in the Korean War, achieving nothing. Is the U.S. prepared to lose at least this many, likely far more, if as you suggest ‘blow the rice out of NK’?

You have the classic American interventionist mind. A mind of empire. It has never worked, and the price big (like Vietnam, Iraq). Are you willing to pay a real big price for America’s habit of intervening in other people’s affairs?

Is Hellary Clinton a Russian Agent?

Sberbank, the largest Russian state owned bank has confirmed that it hired Tony Podesta, brother of John Podesta, the chairman of Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.”The New York office of Sberbank CIB indeed hired Podesta Group,” the company has stated. Podesta was hired to lobby for the bank via it’s interests in the United States, the press service of the Russian credit institution stated. In particular, Podesta was engaged in lobbying for the cancellation of a variety of anti-russian sanctions targeting the banking sector. He was paid $170,000 for his efforts.

Democratic super lobbyist Tony Podesta failed to register under the Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA) when he represented Sberbank, Russia’s largest bank. Sberbank has close ties with the Russian intelligence community, meaning that in effect, Podesta was acting as a foreign agent by agreeing to lobby for Russian interests connected directly to the Russian government’s intelligence services.

“The FARA Registration Unit personnel conducted a search related to your questions and can confirm that the search terms — Sberbank CIB USA, Inc., or Sberbank — are not currently (nor previously have been) registered under FARA,” Marc Raimondi, The national security spokesman at the Department of Justice, confirmed to the Daily Caller.

This is just one of the latest events in a string of disturbing connections to the Russian government from the Clinton milieu, who claim that it is Trump who ostensibly has the connections to the Kremlin
