Is Something Strange Happening Inside The Earth?

Volcano Lava Landscape - Public DomainWhy are “giant fountains of lava” suddenly pouring out of some of the most dangerous volcanoes on the entire planet, and why are so many long dormant volcanoes suddenly roaring back to life?  The spectacular eruption of Mt. Etna in Italy is making headlines all over the world, but it is far from alone.  According to Volcano Discovery, 35 major volcanoes either are erupting right now or have just recently erupted, and dozens of others are stirring.  So what is causing this upsurge in volcanic activity?  Is something strange happening inside the Earth?

According to the USGS, magma is “molten rock underground”, and lava is molten rock “that breaks through the Earth’s surface”.  Right now, something is pushing magma up through the crust of the Earth at a number of key spots around the planet.  On the island of Sicily, the “giant fountains of lava” that are coming out of Mt. Etna can be seen 30 kilometers away

Giant fountains of lava could be seen sprouting from the volcano, located on the isle of Sicily, as far away as Catania, around 30 kilometres away, and the resort town of Taormina.

The Meteorological Observatory in Nunziata said: “You can clearly see the lava fountains, although currently modest, as it escapes from the crater in the southeast.”

An orange air alert has been issued, meaning that airspace will remain open but authorities will continue to monitor the situation.

On the other side of the world, a constant stream of molten rock has been springing out of Guatemala’s “Volcano of Fire” since February 25th

Guatemala’s Volcano of Fire erupted Saturday (Feb 25), spewing lava and sending up plumes of ash that rained down on nearby communities and could eventually reach the capital, civil protection authorities said.

The Volcan de Fuego, one of the country’s three active volcanoes, is located about 45km southwest of the capital Guatemala City. It was the volcano’s second eruption this year.

And in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, a “firehose of lava” has been pouring out of the Kilauea Volcano since December 31st.

Meanwhile, a number of large volcanoes that have been dormant for a very long time all over the world have started springing back to life.

For instance, the only active volcano in India has suddenly started “spewing lava and ash” after being silent for 150 years…

Barren Islands volcano, India’s only active volcano, is reportedly spewing lava and ash after a gap of 150 years. It erupted for about four hours in January, scientists from the National Institute of Oceanography (NIO) claimed.

The volcano is situated in Barren Islands in the Andaman & Nicobar archipelago. Some unsubstantiated reports even claim that it is South Asia’s only active volcano.

Its first recorded eruption dates back to 1787. Since then, the volcano has erupted more than ten times, including the one this year.

At one time scientists would speak of “dead volcanoes”, but now we learning that it really isn’t safe to speak of any volcano as being completely “dead”.  So many of these long dormant volcanoes are roaring back to life, and why this is suddenly happening now is puzzling many of the experts.

And as you have seen, this isn’t isolated to just one or two geographic regions.  It literally is happening all over the globe.

Last month, Indonesia’s Mount Sinabung in the southern hemisphere erupted seven times in the space of a single day, and meanwhile authorities in the northern hemisphere were warning us that four of Iceland’s biggest volcanoes are preparing to erupt.

Indonesia and Iceland are about as far apart as you can get, and yet they are both being affected by this worldwide phenomenon.

Without a doubt, something definitely appears to be causing a significant increase in worldwide seismic activity.

Let’s talk about earthquakes for a moment.  A website known as the Big Wobble recently published an article that included two extraordinary maps.  The first map showed the number of major earthquakes from January 1900 to January 1917, and the second map showed the number of major earthquakes from January 2000 to January 2017.  The difference between the two maps was startling to say the least.

Big Wobble 1

Big Wobble 2

It is becoming extremely difficult to deny that something is happening to the crust of our planet, and many are becoming concerned about what we could soon experience if the level of seismic activity continues to rise.

We already talked about Mt. Etna, but a much greater threat in Italy appears to be awakening under the city of Naples.  A massive supervolcano known as “Campi Flegrei” is close to a “critical state”, and if it erupts the consequences will be beyond catastrophic.  The following comes from National Geographic

A long-quiet yet huge supervolcano that lies under 500,000 people in Italy may be waking up and approaching a “critical state,” scientists report this week in the journal Nature Communications.

Based on physical measurements and computer modeling, “we propose that magma could be approaching the CDP [critical degassing pressure] at Campi Flegrei, a volcano in the metropolitan area of Naples, one of the most densely inhabited areas in the world, and where accelerating deformation and heating are currently being observed,” wrote the scientists—who are led by Giovanni Chiodini of the Italian National Institute of Geophysics in Rome.

If that supervolcano were to fully erupt, millions could die, the skies in the northern hemisphere would be darkened for months and the resulting “volcanic winter” would cause famines all around the globe.

And the same things could be said about the supervolcano that is awakening in North Korea too.

In the United States, we should be watching the volcanoes on the west coast for signs of trouble, and my regular readers know that I am particularly concerned about Mt. Rainier.  There is an eruption of Mt. Rainier in “The Beginning Of The End“, and it is in there for a reason.

Someday Mt. Rainier will erupt, and the horror that this will mean for the Northwest is beyond anything that I could put into words for you right now.

We live at a time when our planet is becoming increasingly unstable, and a major natural disaster could change all of our lives in a single moment.

Just because our lives have been somewhat “normal” for an extended period of time does not mean that they will always be this way, and those that are ignoring the rumblings of our planet do so at their own peril.

I have always scoffed at the idea of planet x or niburu. but recently with our world becoming increasingly unstable and with something that I have noticed every night for the past year a very bright looking star to the west right after sunset is making me start believing that maybe this planet x might be true. some claim it’s venus but I have never seen venus so bright and whatever this is it is getting brighter by the day indicating it is getting closer.
supposedly Niburu is many times larger than the earth and it is it’s gravitational effects that are supposedly causing havoc on our planet not to be confused by a direct hit as many believe. I keep checking nasa’s website for answers but can’t find anything. anyone know what this very bright pulsating object in our western sky after sunset could be?

    • socalbeachdude

      • socalbeachdude

Earthquakes and volcanoes are far more powerful than anything anyone can do to mitigate them.

        • mtntrek3

It’s a sign of the times in which we live. That’s the point. : ) .

          • socalbeachdude

It’s no different at all today in terms of volcanic activity than it was 10,000 years ago, except it is a lot calmer at the moment than it has been at many times in the past. All of California is split by a north/south vertical mountain range that was once all active volcanoes, but not a one of them is erupting here today.

          • mtntrek3

The overall picture. The big picture. Worldwide.

          • socalbeachdude

That big picture is no different today than it has been over the previous 10,000 to millions of years. The RING OF FIRE continues to be active and will always be active for volcanoes and earthquakes and is how the Pacific Rim was formed over the past millions of years.

          • mtntrek3

There were seismic detectors before the late 1800’s? ? Yes, seismic activity is nothing new. Of course. The increase is the point.

          • aldownunder

But that’s the point of the article
One might in 10000 years or so

        • mtntrek3

What I am relating to is that we are causing more earthquakes due to our activities. Most earthquakes, geological activity in general is …. as you say, uncontrollable. The increase in such is a sign of the times.

          • socalbeachdude

Those little tremors are so insignificant as to be totally meaningless.

          • mtntrek3

: ) Lol. Maybe, maybe not. We don’t need to be adding to the issue. Some of those tremors in Oklahoma for example aren’t insignificant.

Need to check that out. We have one….. one of the big ones here in S. Il. (south of here,New Madrid). It’s ripe and overdue. When it breaks loose…… : / . I spent a little over three years in southern California when in the Air Force at March AFB ( ’88-’91). I experienced a couple of tremors there. The thing is….. the frequency and diversity of the events. …….. .

    Pacific Ring of Fire

The Ring of Fire is a major area in the basin of the Pacific Ocean where a large number of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions occur. In a 40,000 km (25,000 mi) horseshoe shape, it is associated with a nearly continuous series of oceanic trenches, volcanic arcs, and volcanic belts and/or plate movements.

It has 452 volcanoes (more than 75% of the world’s active and dormant volcanoes). The Ring of Fire is sometimes called the circum-Pacific belt.

About 90% of the world’s earthquakes and 81% of the world’s largest earthquakes occur along the Ring of Fire.

The next most seismically active region (5–6% of earthquakes and 17% of the world’s largest earthquakes) is the Alpide belt, which extends from Java to the northern Atlantic Ocean via the Himalayas and southern Europe.

All but three of the world’s 25 largest volcanic eruptions of the last 11,700 years occurred at volcanoes in the Ring of Fire.

I hope some major disaster strikes California. It’s pretty much a f#cked up state.

    • socalbeachdude

California is PARADISE and is the most wonderful state in the United States and the best and most beautiful place to live compared to any other place in the world. The most pressing current problem is the extreme damage at the Oroville Dam which is the second largest dam in the State of California and which has sustained catastrophic damage to its main spillway well prior to the impending Spring snow melts.

On the edge of disaster: Full extent of the damage to the Oroville dam is revealed as officials stop the flow on the spillway showing that it is almost completely destroyed

The true extent of the damage to the crumbling Oroville Dam spillway was revealed this week as authorities shut off the water flow and exposed the gaping hole left by the erosion.

Authorities this week started the huge clean-up process, with tons of rubble needing to be removed from the bottom of the spillway in order to get the Hyatt hydro-electric power plant back in operation.

Up to a million cubic yards of debris from the crumbling, concrete chute that takes water down from the top of the dam will need to be removed by barges and excavators over the next seven days.

The damage to the water chute means that the water is not flowing fast enough to clear any of the rubble from the plunge pool at the bottom.

I believe the increase in volcanic activity is a sign of the end of the world, and of the Second Coming. An inspired author wrote over 100 years a go:

“Volcanic eruptions follow; and these often failing to give sufficient vent to the heated elements, the earth itself is convulsed, the ground heaves and swells like the waves of the sea, great fissures appear, and sometimes cities, villages, and burning mountains are swallowed up. These wonderful manifestations will be more and more frequent and terrible just before the second coming of Christ and the end of the world, as signs of its speedy destruction.” Patriarchs and Prophets, p. 108.

Once was told, that in the last days, the earth would have an increase in earthquakes and volcanoes, in order that she would make room for coming inhabitants of Hell, within.

        Hag 2:6
“For thus saith the LORD of hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I will shake the heavens, and the earth, and the sea, and the dry land;”
        Joe 2:30
“And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.”
        Eze 26:20
“When I shall bring thee down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set thee in the low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that thou be not inhabited….”
        Isa 13:13
“Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger.”

There is only one way to avoid spending time in the pits of the earth, known as hell/purgatory/the holding place for the heathen, that are primarily known as liberals, that promote killing of innocent babies, and the proliferation to cause children to accept homosexuality as righteousness and acceptable.

High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP)

The High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program (HAARP) was an ionospheric research program jointly funded by the U.S. Air Force, the U.S. Navy, the University of Alaska[clarification needed], and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), designed and built by BAE Advanced Technologies (BAEAT).

Its purpose was to analyze the ionosphere and investigate the potential for developing ionospheric enhancement technology for radio communications and surveillance. The HAARP program operated a major sub-arctic facility, named the HAARP Research Station, on an Air Force-owned site near Gakona, Alaska.

HAARP is a target of conspiracy theorists, who claim that it was capable of “weaponizing” weather. Commentators and scientists say that advocates of this theory are “uninformed”, as claims made forward fall well outside the abilities of the facility, if not the scope of natural science.

Anyone remember Mt. St. Helens, in May of 1980? I do but it was overshadowed by the birth of my first child on May 27th, of that year.

“Over the course of the day, prevailing winds blew 520 million tons of ash eastward across the United States and caused complete darkness in Spokane, Washington, 400 km (250 mi) from the volcano. Major ash falls occurred as far away as central Montana, and ash fell visibly as far eastward as the Great Plains of the Central United States, more than 1,500 km (930 mi) away. The ash cloud spread across the U.S. in three days and circled the Earth in 15 days.”

“…..—the largest debris avalanche on Earth in recorded history. The total avalanche volume is about 2.5 km3 (3.3 billion cubic yards), equivalent to 1 million Olympic swimming pools.”

    Fifty seven people were killed.

    • Max Powers

If enough of these volcanoes go off worldwide all the ash could pollute all the worlds lakes, oceans, streams, etc.

God created the Earth with barriers called firmaments. They separate the various levels. There has been opinions that there is an inner Earth and it is occupied by intelligent life. There is an opinion that the Antarctic is a barrier from our world to theirs. Many world leaders have made the journey lately. In the past the United States sent a war fleet there. They were soundly defeated. The Russians are supposed to be preparing a mission as well. The Earth bears scars of upheaval of the firmaments from times past. These events were cataclysmic. The legends of the past describe these extinctions. Atlantis is one. When mankind gets too obstinate and destructive, it appears the firmaments are folded upon each other recycling the civilizations inward.

We appear to be fast approaching another epoch. Obstinate man scoffs at God and claims to have great knowledge and power. He chases false Gods with great aplomb and accepts all manner of false teachings. God waits for true fealty. Man moves further and further from such fealty. God allows us to determine our destinies. Like all the civilizations past we seem to desire our destruction and will not relent from tampering with the creation the very DNA of life. We degrade the environment with life destroying science chemical, biological and radiological. We bask in the glory of power while God stands back while the warning clouds of ash rise into the air and the ground shakes.

Physician heal thyself. He cannot, of course, and so the great circle of life extinction will occur again. We have bee given so much and refute both the gift of Eden and the source. It is never too late to manifest change. We must banish the evil ones from the kingdom or perish with them. Both the choice and the destiny are ours. Choose well.

Did you know that back in ancient times that the people had to go to the temples and purchase animals that the priests had to slaughter to atone to god for their sins? Sins such as having children, etc. It is interesting how everything becomes a commodity where some will profit and make money off superstition.

The money changers used to scam and charge higher prices to certain persons of different faiths. Kind of like one price for this group and another for another group.

So why all the blood sacrifice for an all knowing god? Can you imagine what the the areas in the temples or wherever they did the sacrifice looked like? Covered and stained in blood and death. Why would a loving, gentle creator want humans to spill so much blood?

      • Jerry C

Good God, you’re Biblically illiterate. Let me explain as simply as I can to an ignorant, petulant child: Adam & Eve were perfect in a perfect paradise called Eden on a perfect world called Earth. They rebelled against a loving Creator and sin came into the world and separated them & everything the Creator made from Him, forever. However, the Creator loved them (& us!) so much that the Creator willingly paid for their (& our!) sins in order to get everything back to the perfect state it was in. You’re almost at the end of the story, so there’s still some sin & pain to go through before all is set right.

“And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.”-Hebrews 9:22

“And you, being dead in your sins and
the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him,

Jerry that makes no sense at all. Why would a loving, just god put a forbidden tree in a garden and tell people not to eat it? Does he like to play games? Answer yes he does: just look at job.

So he loved us so much he set us up to fail and then all the punishment and horribleness on this planet is because of 2 people whom none of us have ever met were deceived by some creature (who we have no idea who or what said creature is) and now everyone gets to suffer? Not to mention the whole populating the earth by incest thing. I mean come on let’s get real here.

It seems that god has always had a problem with his creations doing the opposite of what he wants. For example, satan who was in heaven (which is supposedly an awesome place) but still found himself unable to resist sin and rebelled against god.

His reward was free reign upon the earth. Adam and Eve’s reward was never ending pain for all their offspring until god returns. Not to mention the animals whom had done nothing wrong were part of this horrible consequence and are at the mercy of humans and other species who kill them.

Blood is all over the book and it’s no wonder we are such a blood thirsty lot and crave it in the form of war, murder and a host of other fantastic ways the human imagination can come up with.

          • tsf

God’s only alternative would be to *not* create free moral agents. How shall any heart be tested without choices to be made?

And if He were to wipe out all evil, He would have to 1) remove all actual evil; 2) then remove all POTENTIAL evil.

That would leave nobody left but Him.

          • carl

Actually according to your own bible we are not free moral agents because god exerts his influence on us to get things done. Since he can’t create anything without including suffering and pain in the mix maybe he should just stop trying and leave it alone.

“That would leave nobody left but Him.” If that’s the way it has to be then so be it. He would have the animals to keep him company and to many humans that is not such a bad thing.

How about we just acknowledge that god is both good and evil he is 2 sides of the same coin?

          • tsf

Firstly, exerting influence (spiritual authority) is not paramount to coercion and control (official / gentile authority.)

Secondly, God’s universe involves both Providential Government and Moral Government, wherein He calls on people to choose, but does not force His will. Yet, He acts providentially in history as well, to intervene, and to ordain certain safeguards for our highest good. Yet, we still must choose. Only robots have no choice, thus no ability to express meaningful life, which comes by building character, which again is by making right choices.

          • carl

Yeah it’s character building when a child is abused because your god won’t intervene.

Or an animal is tortured and god won’t intervene. Just another day in the neighborhood called the earthly plane. Where your god’s plan seems to be allowing and even salivating at all the evil done here. After all he was the first perpetrator of said evil acts. He forced humans to ritualistically slaughter hundreds of thousands of animals to please him and hundreds of thousands of people he deemed unworthy of life. He is the first in a long line of murders that have followed in his footsteps.

We are all born into this world and by random chance it is luck that some find good families and homes while others have terrible lives living in unimaginable conditions. So the randomness of that right there shows you that nothing is in control.

Yes YOU make the choice. NOT god nor the devil. It is all you and I doing this or that to ourselves and other people.

          • tsf

You wrote: “Yeah it’s character building when a child is abused because your god won’t intervene.”

If God intervenes in all the affairs of man, then all the human choices cannot play out. If God intervenes in all evil-doings — in effect, preventing it from happening — then man cannot see the consequences of his choices, whether for good or bad. Like physics, consequences are a divinely ordained principle. Take away consequence for mans’ actions and you end up with a meaningless existence.

Most don’t raise this argument because the fallacy behind it is easy to see.

You wrote: “Or an animal is tortured and god won’t intervene. Just another day in the neighborhood called the earthly plane. Where your god’s plan seems to be allowing and even salivating at all the evil done here.”

Salivating? This would be no Benevolent God of Love. This would be evil.

“This is the message we heard from Jesus and now declare to you: God is light,
and in Him is no darkness at all..”
            I John 1:5

            You wrote:

Well, I guess you realize you are calling God evil. I have to wonder to what extent you have searched these matters out.

Speaking of intervention, God, under theocratic rule, directed the Jewish people to remove cultures that were already practicing evil, in advanced degrees. For instance, sacrificing their children to Molech. All life has worth to God.

(That why he sent Jesus: to reconcile man to Himself.

            1) He so wanted, out of His great Love, to show man mercy for his unspeakable wickedness.

            2) Yet, He also had to uphold the righteousness of His law; or on other words, uphold public justice. Law without penalty is only advice. And so, Jesus came to take on the penalty for mankind – past, present and future; for all those who are willing to receive His provision for mercy. Enter the Cross.)

Indeed, God values life; even that of the animals. But animals are not on the same level as humans – free moral agents. Animals live by instinct alone, incapable of moral choice and sin.

In the Bible, the animal sacrifice is a requirement under Mosaic law; an act of sacrifice /cost to atone for sin, including its moral consequences. All students of the New Testament understand that the whole advent of animal sacrifice served as a foreshadowing of the ultimate sacrifice to come – Jesus the Messiah.

          • carl

In regards to calling god evil. I did not I only repeated what he calls himself in Isaiah 45:7.

“God, under theocratic rule, directed the Jewish people to remove
cultures that were already practicing evil, in advanced degrees.”

How is his having the jewish people murder all men, women and children not committing an evil act in itself? I could give you the men and women adults who were equally practicing said acts but the infants and children?

All life has worth to god – not true based on the old testament. Only some life has worth other life must be destroyed.

In regards to your final paragraph: So you admit that the foreshadowing in the bible is just a cleverly crafted book of stories to get people to believe in something they would not have ordinarily believed in. That I can get behind calling it a historical / fictional account of a past time.

          • tsf

            You wrote:
“In regards to calling god evil. I did not I only repeated what he calls himself in Isaiah 45:7.”

Carl, this would be the most simplistic view possible. To use this as a “proof text” that “God is evil” is to really do both you and God injustice.

Think about it. The scriptures are FULL of verses about how much God HATES EVIL.

            Does He hate Himself???

The great minds of Jewish / Christian have seen past this one verse to the greater context of Holy Writ. You should join them.

Here’s some background, if you really want to know:

The context of the verse is speaking of natural phenomena.

            “I am the Lord, and there is no other; Besides Me there is no God. I will gird you, though you have not known Me;

            6) That men may know from the rising to the setting of the sun That there is no one besides Me. I am the Lord, and there is no other,

            7) The One forming light and creating darkness, Causing well-being and creating calamity; I am the Lord who does all these,” (Isaiah 45:5-7).

Notice that the context of the verse is dealing with who God is, that it is God who speaks of natural phenomena (sun, light, dark), and it is God who is able to cause “well-being” as well as “calamity.” Contextually, this verse is dealing with natural disasters and human comfort issues. It is not speaking of moral evil; rather, it is dealing with calamity, distress, etc. This is consistent with other scriptures. For example,

“And the Lord said to him, “Who has made man’s mouth? Or who makes him dumb or deaf, or seeing or blind? Is it not I, the Lord?” (Exodus 4:11).

“Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?” (Amos 3:6).

Also, take note that Isaiah is presenting contrasts. He speaks of “light” and “darkness,” “well being” and “calamity.” The word “well-being” in the Hebrew is the word for ‘peace,’ “Shalome.” So, in the context, we are seeing two sets of opposites: Light and dark, peace and non-peace, or well being and calamity. The “evil” that is spoken of is not ontological evil, but the evil experienced by people in the form of calamity.

From the above two verses (Exodus 4:11; Amos 3:6) we can see that the Lord is involved in calamity and problems in the earthly realm. Exodus 4:11 is speaking of human frailty and Amos 3:6 is speaking of woes in a city. It is not a moral evil that God brings, but calamity and distress upon people.

Of course, this raises other questions of why God would do such a thing, which I won’t cover here. But, we can trust that whatever God does is just and is used for teaching, guiding, and disciplining His people.

Third, there are other verses that clearly show that God is pure and that He cannot approve of evil.

“The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; a God of faithfulness and without injustice, righteous and upright is He,” (Deut. 32:4).

“Thine eyes are too pure to approve evil, and Thou canst not look on wickedness with favor,” (Hab. 1:13).

We can see that the Bible teaches that God is pure and does not approve of evil, that the word rah (evil) in Hebrew can mean many things, and that contextually the verse is speaking of calamity and distress. Therefore, God does not create evil in the moral sense, but in the sense of disaster or calamity.

“If God intervenes in all the affairs of man, then all the human choices cannot play out.”

If that is the case please explain the old testament to me.

If we have free will as you say please explain the old testament to me and the fact that in some cases god ordered the murder of all men, male infants and women. The exception being virgin girls whom I assume were to given to these men as slaves — I mean wives.

If god does not salivate at the slaughtering of animals explain the old testament to me and where god smells the sacrificial meat cooking and is in ecstasy.

I’m super busy and will get back to you shortly. Everything you say; every question you raise, will be answered. But let me say now, if you’re just here to argue, or play devil’s advocate, this conversation will be futile. But, if you are a Lover of Truth, as so many here are, then we can exchange thoughts in a spirit that is profitable and mutually respectful. Being a lover of truth does not mean that you come around to my point of view. Being a lover truth means loving Truth above all else — above being right, above personal bias and preferences. It means loving truth for truth’s sake, regardless to who is right or wrong.

This is not a very common attribute. Most people, when they are ‘thinking’, are merely rearranging their prejudices. For most people, Reason is subservient to Interest, rather than Interest to Reason.

For us, it’s easy to search out truth, contrary to the well-worn ruts in the road. It’s not so easy to keep our wheels of thought out of those deep ruts, because that is the least line of resistance, and condones intellectual laziness.

But, as Jesus promised, “He who hungers and thirsts for righteousness will be filled.”

God did not create men to be evil, but through their “freewill” to covet, and become jealous and prideful, those emotions begat evil.
God never caused anyone to become evil, nor does He like it when they do, so therefore they will perish if they don’t repent and turn away from their prideful ways.

Why do you think it is called a gay “Pride”, mentality?
Because their pride to do sin without recompense is death.

I have seen numerous times Believers attempting to explain to you the why? As I write this I see a telephone pole out my window. That telephone pole is dead. Just like everyone that is born into this world. Man is born with a Soul and a Body, but is born Spiritually Stillborn to God. That’s why the Scriptures declare a man must be born again to be Spiritually reconnected to God. When one believes the Gospel..the Good News, the Holy Spirit then enters a person, and they become as a child learning to grow in the Faith. The Gospel is 1st Corinthians 15:1-4. I hand out a Gospel tract which states, “What must I do to go to Hell?” on the inside of the tract the only thing written is “Nothing”, and on the back page the Plan of Salvation. I have a 24 yr old daughter, and when she was 2, I didn’t have to teach her to lie, cheat or steal. We are born sinners. During this time period in which we live, the god of this world is Satan, and this Scripture makes perfectly clear his agenda. https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/2-Corinthians-4-4/

That would be akin to the Zoroastrian – a God of duality. It’s very old hat in philosophical circles. I would encourage you to look beyond, if truth or enlightenment is your objective here.

            You wrote:
“We are all born into this world and by random chance it is luck that some find good families and homes while others have terrible lives living in unimaginable conditions. So the randomness of that right there shows you that nothing is in control.”

That’s quite a statement. If nothing was in control, then you’d have a whole lot of nothing – no law of physics, no moral sense of right and wrong. The entire universe, assuming it existed, would have no cohesive force, no orbit, no delicate balances as we observe in the orbiting planets, moons, galaxies; not even go into hundreds of thousands of life forms, species, varieties.. all too staggering for the human imagination. Without intrinsic order, all would fly apart.

And randomness? Was it random chance that created the Universe? All life evolving from rocks rained upon for jillions of years forming a prebiotic stew? Life from non-life, intelligence from non-intelligence, wondrous genius and variety from absolute vacuum?

Man was created equal. But man was not born equal. And did God make rich families and poor families? War-torn regions and safe neighborhoods?

No, this is the disparity of human expression, resultant from trillions of choices. Would you blame God for that?

The LORD has made everything for its
            own purpose,
            Even the wicked for the
            day of evil.

            Everyone who is proud
in heart is an abomination to the
LORD; Assuredly, he will not be
            unpunished.

            By lovingkindness and

We are sitting on a supervolcano at Yellowstone that is overdue. If it blows everyone within a 500 mile circle is in danger.

    • tsf

As I understand it, a supervolcano such as in Yellowstone is not just a spouting mountain, but rather, an enormous land mass that goes up instead. The Yellowstone caldera is 55 miles long and 18 miles wide.

      • Seen2013

The two prime eruption theories are:
-The caldera forms by eruptions around its perimeter and ends with the center collapsing into the center aka caldera.
-The perimeter erupts leading to the center erupting, and the caldera forms kinda like a landslide and sealed by lava flows

      • socalbeachdude

        Caldera – Wikipedia

        https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caldera

A caldera is a large cauldron-like depression that forms following the evacuation of a magma chamber/reservoir. When large volumes of magma are erupted over a short time period, structural support for the crust above the magma chamber is lost.

Significant volcanic activity creates massive clouds of ash which block sunlight and can result in major cooling for many years afterwards. The last time that happened was with the Krakatoa Volcano in 1883 which erupted in Indonesia. That would really get the “global warmist” snowflakes panties in a bunch!

    • walcon

I think he means we should not ignore them, but find the switch that turns them off. lol.

  • BUSCEDGUE

I totally agree with Michael’s last paragraph in particular. I am 72, I believe that for all of my life things have seemed ‘normal’ with some minor ups and downs. As we approach the end of the age, normal, I think, will be a concept of the past in the natural (weather, earthquakes, volcanoes), politically, socially, culturally, globally, and spiritually.

We as believers must be in relationship with the Lord daily, then the changes will be much easier to deal with. In the end it is all about – Him and you, you and him, Him and me and me and him. The reprieve the Lord has given us is about bringing souls into the kingdom before His return. SOULS, SOULS SOULS into His kingdom. I remember Kathryn Kuhlman saying “I give my life for the salvation of a lost soul” All of us, could determine to do the same thing! That would be glorious!

    • jox

In the last century there have been two world wars, a lot of wars, revolts and coups, volcanoes, tsunamis and so on, but everything seemed ‘normal’ to you?

      • walcon

Being that there is no “Normal”, yes, it is normal. Things are as they should be.
You tell me- what is normal? That which we have experienced in 10 years..?.. 20 years…?..1,000 years..?.. one million years..?……………………….nothing remains the same forever.

  • jox

Earth is 4,500 millions of years old. In that huge period it has seen everything, including giant catastrophes capable of killing 80% of life of the planet. You can take a small slice and pretend that this is the ‘normal’ situation, but it’s simply not true.

  • Duane Alexander Miller

You know Yellowstone is a huge volcano.
