Plunging Manufacturing Numbers Mean That It Is Time To Hit The Panic Button For The Global Economy

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

Panic Button On Keyboard - Public DomainWe haven’t seen numbers like these since the last global recession.  I recently wrote about how global trade is imploding all over the planet, and the same thing is true when it comes to manufacturing.  We just learned that manufacturing in China has now been contracting for seven months in a row, and as you will see below, U.S. manufacturing is facing “its toughest period since the global financial crisis”.  Yes, global stocks have bounced back a bit after experiencing dramatic declines during January and the first part of February, and this is something that investors are very happy about.  But that does not mean that the crisis is over.  All bear markets have their ups and downs, and this one will not be any different.  Meanwhile, the cold, hard economic numbers that keep coming in are absolutely screaming that a new global recession is here.

Just consider what is happening in China.  Manufacturing activity continues to implode, and factories are shedding jobs at the fastest pace since the last financial crisis

Chinese manufacturing suffered a seventh straight month of contraction in February.

China’s official Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) stood at 49.0 in February, down from the previous month’s reading of 49.4 and below the 50-point mark that separates growth from contraction on a monthly basis.

A private survey also showed China’s factories shed jobs at the fastest rate in seven years in February, raising doubts about the government’s ability to reduce industry overcapacity this year without triggering a sharp jump in unemployment.

For years, the expansion of the Chinese economy has helped fuel global economic growth.  But now things have shifted dramatically.

At this point, things are already so bad that the Chinese government is admitting that millions of workers are going to lose their jobs at state-controlled industries in China…

China’s premier told visiting U.S. Treasury Secretary Jacob Lew on Monday his government is pressing ahead with painful reforms to shrink bloated coal and steel industries that are a drag on its slowing economy and ruled out devaluing its currency as a short-cut to boosting exports.

Premier Li Keqiang’s comments to Lew on Monday were in line with a joint declaration by financial officials from the Group of 20 biggest rich and developing economies who met over the weekend in Shanghai. They pledged to avoid devaluations to boost sagging trade and urged governments to speed up reforms to boost slowing global growth.

Across all state-controlled industries, as many as six million workers could be out of a job, with almost two million in the coal industry alone.

But it isn’t just China.  Right now manufacturing activity is slowing down literally all over the planet, and this is exactly what we would expect to see if a new global recession had begun.  The following chart and analysis come from Zero Hedge

As the below table shows, 28 regions have reported so far. Seven saw improvements in their manufacturing sectors in February, twenty recorded a weakening, and India was unchanged. This means that over 70% of the world saw manufacturing sentiment deteriorate in February compared to January.

February Manufacturing Numbers - Zero Hedge

In terms of actual expansion, there were 21 countries in positive territory and 7 in negative. In particular, Greece moved from neutral to contraction territory, while Taiwan dropped below breakeven from expansion.

Unfortunately, most Americans don’t really pay much attention to what is going on in the rest of the world.  For most of us, what really matters is what is happening inside the good ole USA.

And of course the news is not good.  There were more signs of trouble for U.S. manufacturing in the February numbers, and this continues a trend that stretches back well into last year.  The following is what Chris Williamson, the chief economist at Markit, had to say about these numbers

“The February data add to signs of distress in the US manufacturing economy. Production and order book growth continues to worsen, led by falling exports. Jobs are being added at a slower pace and output prices are dropping at a rate not seen since mid-2012.

“The deterioration in the manufacturing sector’s performance since mid-2014 has broadly tracked the dollar’s rise, which makes US goods more expensive in overseas markets and leads US consumers to favour cheaper imported goods.

“With other headwinds including the downturn in the oil sector, heightened uncertainty due to financial market volatility, global growth worries and growing concerns about the presidential election, it’s no surprise that the manufacturing sector is facing its toughest period since the global financial crisis.

Over the past couple of decades, the U.S. economy has lost tens of thousands of manufacturing facilities.  We desperately need a manufacturing renaissance – not another manufacturing decline.

As good paying manufacturing jobs have been shipped overseas, they have been replaced by low paying service jobs.  As a result, the middle class is shrinking and the ranks of the poor are exploding.

It is hard to believe, but today more than 45 million Americans are on food stamps, and a significant percentage of those individuals actually have jobs.  They are called “the working poor”, and it is becoming a major crisis in this nation.

And no matter what Obama may say, unemployment remains a major problem in the United States as well.  At this point, unemployment rates in 36 states are higher than they were just before the last recession hit in 2008.

Of course a lot of people are going to look at this article and will point to the stock market gains of the past couple of weeks as evidence that “things are getting better”.  It is this kind of clueless approach that is keeping the American people from coming together on solutions to our problems.

The truth is that the United States has been experiencing economic decline for decades.  Our economic infrastructure has been gutted, the middle class is steadily deteriorating, and we have amassed the biggest pile of debt in the history of the world.

Anyone that believes that things are “just fine” is in a massive state of denial.  Consuming far more wealth than we produce is not a formula for a sustainable economy, and it is just a matter of time before we find this out the hard way.

I am reminded of how David Wilkerson in his April 1973 book, “The Vision”, said there would be a false prosperity just before the coming worldwide financial collapse that would change the lifestyle of nearly every wage earner in the world. He also mentioned the greatest building boom of all time was yet to occur!
For years I wondered how it would be possible to change the entire world’s wage earners’ lifestyles. This has only become possible in the last 10 years! The 6 million job loses in China are an example of this and effects will ripple elsewhere. Of course, who hasn’t read about the ghost cities for millions that have been built in China in the last 5-6 years?
I kept looking for the false boom (prosperity) but didn’t realize until about 2011, after articles started to be written that spoke of how the 30+ year boom cycle dating back into the 1970’s was all based on debt, and therefore a “false” prosperity, that the boom had already occurred. Now we are just waiting for the “BOOM”!
Isn’t it ironic so many people are taking about “bubbles” popping? I wonder who told David 43 years ago that this was going to be the outcome, before it even happened! (?) A simple preacher from PA wouldn’t know about such things, would he? Especially when the PH’d educated never seemed to understand them, for nearly 40 years! Many remain in denial!

    • ALWAYSTOMORROW

One never knows. It may take another 43 years for his vision to come true.

I’ll bet he never thought his vision would take 43+ years to take place when he published his book.

Rather than trying to guess I think I will go to sleep.

      • MICHAEL POEHLS

How well said, “I think I will go to sleep”. Maybe, for now, one can sleep, but soon, very soon, everyone will be awaken by the rest of the story in David’s book. It is past time that people prepare for the coming of Jesus Christ in the clouds for His saints whom have been preparing for His coming these many years. Come Lord Jesus, come!

        • SunnyFlaSnotress

Jesus ain’t coming. He told me he doesn’t like you.

          • Mark

You never take things serious do you. But then at 20 I did not either. When you grow up I will be laughing when you start posting exactly what you make fun of. After having some responsibility maybe marriage, kids, and life. Oh how real life experience can change a young mind. Now please get rid of your ridiculous vampire picture.

          • SunnyFlaSnotress

You don’t know me. You are very far off. You talk trash. You are clueless;.

          • Malcolm Reynolds

You talk trash. You are clueless;.
You have no room to talk at all.

          • ALWAYSTOMORROW

Mr Reynolds, you have been warned about your outbursts before…now go stand in the corner until I tell you to leave and keep your hands OUT of your pockets.

          • Malcolm Reynolds

Any time you’re feelin froggy, I invite you to jump bitch.

          • SunnyFlaSnotress

I can’t believe Michael let Malcy say bitch

          • ALWAYSTOMORROW

I am glad Mike lets him have free speech. He deserves it as do I.

          • Malcolm Reynolds

I cant believe he lets you post here.

          • SunnyFlaSnotress

            That oftimes surprises me too.

    • Artemis

David Wilkerson has been exceedingly vague, but exceedingly accurate. The very definition of false prosperity is a debt driven bubble. The entire world is in a massive bubble, and when it corrects, it will be the worst one on history. The stock market will look A-OK until the bankruptcies start, then in a matter of weeks the whole thing will crash. Keep an eye on derivatives and corporate debt.

      • watchmannonthewall

One other thing: DW said in March 2009, when they allow the first nation to go bankrupt it will spread to Mexico. Once it hits there, within two weeks it will hit here and the banks will be closed for 6 months. I do not have a record of this quote but do remember reading it on his church website. Will he be right? I don’t know but am preparing!

    • HE-is RISEN

      Hi Watchman,
Yes sir great book also The Harbinger, The Shemitah & the 2 cows born in Texas on The Shemitah date more confirmations.
      God Bless,

    • Holger Jahndel

@watchman: Read Emmanuel Todd and Heinberg (Peak Oil and Peak Everything) and F. William Engdahl and Lyndon LaRouche and Al Gore and their books and articlesl. There are alternatives.

There are successfull economic systems and modern tax systems in Scandinavia with Sweden and Finnland and in Iceland!

Even the Japanese want to introduce the Scandinavian Swedish tax modell in their country as the national taxt system of National Economy and the Benefit of the middle class producing the most jobs! And also CANADA is doing better than the neoliberal Neocon USA with the neoliberal Globalists!

Neoliberalism has spread from the city of London and mass media like the failed fraud Monetarism of MIlton Friedman of the University of Chicago! The USA are deindustrialized by neoliberal free trade and destructive financial speculations and are loosing their whole industrial basis and the middle class is melting away now!

  • Jorma

What a great reference to the late David Wilkerson. He was such a great man and had such an enormous impact on so many.

  • Bill

Debt remains a weapon of mass destruction to society and the dollar. Very few people have the ability to manage debt to create wealth. It’s like using candy as a food rather than a treat.

    • AzDi

Debt over the entire world! That is the problem. All of the “central banks” playing their game has caused a lot of this.

  • Priszilla

My main expenses last year were rent, food, airline tickets, and a bicycle, oh, and a used laptop for Christmas. No appliance, no phone, no car, no book. I filled my savings account that was depleted during unemployment. And serviced my debt for the house.

The problem with stockholders is that they focus on a very small time frame. At that time frame everything is very steep. Either up or down.

  • J.C

I see the Asian stocks are rising, oil price is rising, Baltic Dry index is up, Buffets positive comments about US economy and the positive US data..all of which are broadcasted main stream to allay fears of a collapse. People suddenly have money (who cares if its borrowed) to buy stocks and gold price is down. Fun. Lets see how long it lasts.

    • ali

It might last our life time. Who knows.

  • mtntrek3

Many signs of the times around us. As I drive around our home town and other neighboring towns…….. what do I see? Well, concerning jobs I see mostly retail and service sector jobs. Banks, retail stores, fast food restaurants, more restaurants, grocery stores, some hotels, more retail stores, another hotel, another bank……. finally, a better paying manufacturing center. Retail and service sector jobs dominate. While they are needed for sure……. we need a balance. We need some more livable wage jobs. In fact many more. Actually, several retail and service sector employers that are national or global can afford to pay their employees more…… but corporate greed prevents this. As Ross Perot said years ago….. can’t do business w/ people that have little to no money. W/O a strong middle class, an economy will fail.

    • XSANDIEGOCA

I visited a relative in W Mass. As we drove around, I saw many old, abandoned factories in what were once thriving mill towns. These factories were big and you could see how hundreds of workers were once there, now all gone. If you are going to play the Global Game, you have to make something the rest of the World will buy.

      • AzDi

Same thing in the midwest. I lived in Indiana back in the 70’s & 80’s and it was a manufacturing state. All of the midwest was that way. But….. then (I think because of unions and the high wages), they all started leaving the US. Some big manufacturers were there at that time… and now they are all gone. I also believe it was because of the liberal policies when the democrats took over.

        • Gay Veteran

“…I also believe it was because of the liberal policies when the democrats took over.”

who was it that passed “free trade” laws?

          democrats AND republicans

        • XSANDIEGOCA

I was driving up to attend a Trump Rally in Vegas a few weeks back and was listening to a Caller on Rush. He was my age, retired, and from Indiana. He made a comment confirming just what you are saying. When he was “coming up”, there was WORK! You could work on the roads, work in the factories, you could hustle up something. No more. Now what? IMHO… you sell it here, you make it here. Call it Tariffs. Call it Economic Nationalism. Call it whatever you want but the Status Quo of Open Borders, Welfare State and being a Colony of Japan, China and Mexico is unsustainable. I am voting for Trump. Does anyone think Hillary is going to do anything about this?

        • ALWAYSTOMORROW

I too live in Indiana but work in Illinois.

As you said this area is a shell of what it was 30 years ago BUT there is still employment. GOOD employment that pays well.

I have been through 3 plant closings in the last 30 year and never been unemployed for more than a month.

I have been with my current employer for a little over 12 years.

I do not go to church etc. but many here seem to. Isn’t there something in the bible like….Ask and ye shall receive, seek and ye shall find, knock and the door shall be opened?

          Interesting.

        • SunnyFlaSnotress

The companies probably just got tired of hiring religious whackos.

      • mtntrek3

Corporate greed behind much of it. Corp’s want to go overseas to make their products on cheaper labor, get away with polluting the environment, not have to provide any worker’s benefits, etc. That’s my take on most of it, anyway.

        • XSANDIEGOCA

          Correct!

    • Jacynthia Read

That’s the plan–globalist plan that is.

      • mtntrek3

        Yep…… sad but true.

  • Orac4Prez

So Hillary won Super Tuesday. She says she’s “building ladders of opportunity”: seems more like the Democrats are building ladders of debt. Each rung another trillion dollars of debt? How much opportunity can the US afford?

    • XSANDIEGOCA

I do not have Phd in Economics but I do have a Phd in Debt and I am willing to hazard a guess that when we hit 25 Trillions that “ladder” collapses.

      • Steeve Girard

Too much leverage to debt ratio instability? Causing debts to be paid late… which will mean default? Is that what you think?

        • XSANDIEGOCA

Yes. When we had a manufacturing plant worthy of the name, we might have been able to manufacture our way out of it. We don’t have that plant. We are behind the power curve. Unless we change our direction soon and make the necessary sacrifices, default is guaranteed.

      • SunnyFlaSnotress

Oh yeah? Where did you get your degree?

        • XSANDIEGOCA

Vietnam and the School of Hard Knocks.

          • Funkenstein ✓FUnK verified

            Id get your money back

    • sth_txs

It is not just the debt. There is also the countless trillions in unfunded liabilities.

      • kfilly

Which is what kills me about all of the clueless idiots that want more government spending in the name of socialism. Don’t they get that we should be reducing our spending? It is the entire reason our brain dead society will collapse into a totalitarian state.

        • Joltin Joe

No gov agency is incentivized to reduce spending, if they don’t spend their budget this year, they get less next year. Spending will NEVER be reigned in

          • Jerry C

Exactly. I worked as a temporary for a time at the U.S. Postal Service and there were teams of employees sitting with no mail to process while bus loads were right next to them for the “union” teams. I asked the manager why we were all there with nothing to do and was told that they wouldn’t get the same budget for next year if they let us go early. They called it government security. I called it a train wreck waiting to happen. Even the government will be forced to face economics 101.

        • Gay Veteran

we’ve got spending on the welfare state AND the warfare state

          • kfilly

            I agree with that.

    • Joltin Joe

I’m thinking Chutes and Ladders, ladders for her cronies and the rest of us get Chutes into the toilet

      • SunnyFlaSnotress

lol.. I look forward to flushing you

        • Malcolm Reynolds

My money says you’re too stupid to operate a toilet.

          • SunnyFlaSnotress

I knew you were a pauper

          • Malcolm Reynolds

I knew you were an idiot. The difference is that you display it constantly and for all you know, I’m a mega millionaire.

          • SunnyFlaSnotress

lol.. I’m sure you’re on FoodStamps

          • Gay Veteran

            more like mega moron

          • Malcolm Reynolds

Yup. Ya got me. Of course, that doesn’t look too good for you since you’ve repeatedly failed to follow simple conversations and deny the bullshyte you say. Yikes.

          • Gay Veteran

funny coming from a cuckservative like you

          • Malcolm Lies

Apparently it’s worth a mega millionaire’s time and energy to comment inane drivel on backwater message boards lol.

          • awb22

talking about yourself in the third person, again.

    • Mondobeyondo

Not to worry. By this time next year, President Trump will be well on his way towards “making America great again”. Heh heh heh.

      • Bill G Wilminton NC

        Trump is only hope…….

        • sistersoldier

Here I come Bill with the voice of reason — one crying in the wilderness 😉

Yeshua, as you refer to our Lord left us a few instructions 1) Do not put your trust in princes, in mortal man, in whom there is no salvation. 2) Some boast in chariots and some in horses but we boast the name of the Lord, our God. 3) He who is holy, Who is true, Who has the key of David, Who opens and no one can shut and Who shuts and no one can open. It is He who sets up princes and takes them down. Are you sure you want to co-sign on this candidate? On any candidate that calls Second Corinthians – the book of Two Corinthians? One minute he’s a Protestant and in the same sentence a Presbyterian. One sentence he is in church all the time, in the same sentence only Christmas and Easter, and in the same sentence when he can get there? A double minded man is unstable in all his ways my friend. Our banner is Jehovah-Nissi everything else is suspect!

          • SunnyFlaSnotress

            Oh good, .. he’s YOURS now :)

          • sistersoldier

There is enough of my Christian heart to go around.

          • SunnyFlaSnotress

Bill, confided in me that he doesn’t mean to be so snarky to me.. he is just lonely for a god-fearing woman to speak to him

          • sistersoldier

Uh-huh, and I have 20 beautiful acres of swamp land I would love to sell you. 😉 I was born at night – not last night.

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

Sister in Christ…..Donald Trump took this project on for a reason maybe a Godly reason as he sure doesn’t need this nonsense. I believe that God has work for him to do and pulled him to this task….look what God has done in the past. Is the man now what the man will be after millions and millions of prayers…I think not.

One thing to remember Trump is putting his life in danger for us. Do you think that these elitists (satanic) are just going to let him walk in and disrupt the plan that is been cooking for over 100 years…… who do you think is the author of this plan. You need to think about this as this rescue is not like picking up a puppy out of a puddle….this is dangerous ! As it is trump is wearing a bullet proof vest due to death threats…remember what happened to JFK well he messed with the same group but now different faces with the same black souls So the next time you hear Trump speak listen with passion for the man… for he may get a bullet trying to save this once great but fallen fallen country that you and your children call home……… till we get called to our real home

I did not hear his talk about attending church everyday, no day, Sunday, or whatever day. But I have already wasted so much time going back to listen to past interviews where he supposedly said this or said that and when I finally find the correct interview it wasnt what he said. Or it was an magazine review of trump speaking and different than what was really said but the person relaying the info said I heard him say it.

Trump has some flaws, that is obvious but when I say he is the only one…. he is ! The other two Rubio and Cruz are the same act they are POLITICIANS and they are PUPPETS to the establishment elites in the repub party who only want New World Order. Cruz wife is a executive with Goldman Sachs and Cruz got a loan of 1 million bucks to start his campaign from ha ha you guessed it “GOLDMAN SACHS”. Yup I know you are thinking but Cruz is a Christian and speaks so nice and low key…. but the truth HE IS A NEW WORLD ORDER MAN and as a Christian probably convinced himself that this is the only way to bring peace to the world. Satan knows what buttons to hit……and he is hittin them buttons like a court reporter in a murder case..

A lot more to Cruz and Rubio but not enough time ….my dinner is sitting in front of me ice cold and its not ice cream lol.

As you said YOU are one of the elect.

Trump may be the false prophet that is deceiving you (the elect).

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

Anything is possible but I believe God called Trump for a reason….and time will show all….Mr Trump has literally millions of people praying for him, millions and millions…….and that is nuclear and hydrogen combined.

I dont drink enough for this…….

  • Alice Young

watched a cctv program about china restructuring, they are in turn outsourcing the manufacturing to cheaper places , vietnam korea etc , they said they want to embrace a post manufacturing economy and have been directing education towards high tech, computing, robotics, medcine, biotech and have more honour students in all fields than usa has students. They said that usa had failed to change , gutted its education with 50% of its graduates in science and engineering being from abroad and returning home rather than remaining in us, that it would be impossible for usa to re-industrialise as they were now decades and dollars behind the curve. It was quite depressing.

    • XSANDIEGOCA

Correct! If we were to start the “turnaround” today, it would take years and maybe a couple of decades to make things right again.

    • SunnyFlaSnotress

      Americans aren’t stupid, just underutilized

    • billtheguy

Your right. Government didn’t just think this up yesterday. It has been in the works for quite some time.

  • fwalker000

What a disservice! After another incredible spike higher is key indices yesterday – again with zero economic advantage whatsoever to those that subscribe to the imminent collapse nonsense it is unimaginable how the next foolish article will again rationalize why doomsday followers were fortunate to not participate in the profits.

    • Creepy Pedro

More to life than chasing a few days of profits. That being said, it was a great day.

      • Scott Comin

I wish, but as long as you can couch “serfdom” as “profits” Americans will line up for serfdom

    • Bill G Wilminton NC

Slow motion financial avalanche……yup you will get a few ups……just enough to draw the sheep to the slaughter….when the time is right for New World Order the plug will be pulled.

    • Gay Veteran

yeah, stay in front of that steam roller picking up pennies

  • billtheguy

The US needs to sell something to the rest of the world. You cannot survive on service/ hospitality jobs, that is just money circulating around the country. Eventually that money leaves for numerous reasons.
Part time jobs are not going to be enough taxes to keep the heavy, overweight, bloated, too big government the politicians have created. With the middle class virtually gone, so goes the heavy tax payers.

    • XSANDIEGOCA

Exactly. 75MM Baby Boomers are retiring at the rate of 10K/day. Who will pay for them and how? Whoever is elected President is confronted with a 20 Trillion Dollar Debt (and growing). The Laws of Mathematics and the Gods of the Copybook Headings will have their way.

      • pissedlizard كافر ‏

And Gen X’ers are beginning to retire from military and government jobs while people live longer. Lots of retirees to pay for with lots of medical problems as well…

        • XSANDIEGOCA

I read somewhere the fastest growing demographic (as a percentage) are those over 85! When SS was introduced in the Thirties, I believe only 4 people lived to be 65. 65, today, is the new 50. “Old” is 75.

          • AzDi

And our government has chosen to ignore the coming crisis with SS and Medicare. Gutless idiots!

          • Scott Comin

No they have chosen to spend it on bailing out banks and businesses for forty years!!!

          • XSANDIEGOCA

The future of SS and Medicare is default but then one could say that about our entire debt. We had a manufacturing plant once but that is gone. We had solid middle class jobs but those are gone too and all the tax revenue that went with it. We have opened the borders and are turning into a Third World Slum (be design). The only thing that could save us is a devastating War in Asia and/or Europe! Hmmmm…..

          • AzDi

X-SD you and I are on the same page. I have said that to you previously.

Some people “get it” others do not.

          • Scott Comin

True and all that money that could go to social security has been used to bail out banks, big business all LLC’s for 40 years!

          • XSANDIEGOCA

Actually, 50 years. This all started with Lunatic Lyndon, his War on Poverty and the War in Vietnam (both of which we lost BTW). The money has been stolen and the tragedy is that it could have taken care of us all. Gone, Gone with the Wind!

      • Scott Comin

The end of the delusion of rugged individualism. Back to the land and community or fema camps.

        • XSANDIEGOCA

I am retired and am luckier than most. That said, I readily can see that most people who hit my age do not have a Second Act in them.

          • ALWAYSTOMORROW

Some luck always plays a part, but I’ll bet you did some planning too.

          • XSANDIEGOCA

I did but I shall readily concede that I was lucky too.

          • ALWAYSTOMORROW

            Me too. 😉

    • rentslave

Plus,Red China is buying a lot of our farmland from which we used to sell grain to the rest of the world.

    • Scott Comin

So true, but “big government” is “big business” for the corporations. Our money goes to bail out banks and corporations not citizens. The government and corporations are so intertwined their is no distinguishing one from the other at least in my opinion.

      • Gay Veteran

fascism = merger of state and corporate powers

  • ali

If everything is gutted and everything is so bad then why is all this not imploding into chaos and collapse. Truth is no one knows when this system will actually collapse. It could in a year or this may linger on for a decade before hitting the brick wall and when it does no matter how much you have prepared, it wont be of any use. So live your life and let others live. Be a good neighbor, a good father, son, husband whatever. Just be a good human and don’t try to control or worry about things which you cannot control. Biggest reality of our life is death, if not today then tomorrow so why bother.

    • Mark

It’s collapsing as we speak at a slow pace. It’s called the frog in the pot theory. Put a frog in a pot of cool water. Gradually turn the heat up until the water boils. By then it’s to late and the frog either leaves his sanctuary and jumps out or stays and dies. If the frog leaves he has no water to jump into. This is what is happening in America. There are many being laid off only to find low paying jobs. I know many struggling to make ends meet. Cities are going down hill while middle class shrinks. This is what the globalist want. Do not spread panic. Gradually wean the masses and there will be more acceptance. But then it’s to late. You are a good example. I bet you love that Obummer don’t you Ali.

      • Scott Comin

Oh and we all know Bush would have gotten everything back on track right?

        • Mark

It’s not about Bush. Obummer has been President for 8 years and this country is in worse shape. I did not agree with everything Bush did but liberals like you who defend this pathetic President always put the blame back on Bush. Hey, wake up and start educating yourself. Obummer is president. Oh, let’s look at Obummer care. That has royally made health care worse. My health care went up $2500 this year on the deductible. I have a PPO. I believe he said everyone will at least have an average $2000 in reductions on cost. Not. All he did was push more on Medicaid and jack the prices up on the ones who already have insurance. Look what he did to Medicare advantage. My parents are retired and have paid into the system all their lives only to have 700 billion in Medicare Advantage transferred to Medicaid. Ya that’s fair. Always take from the guy that provides and give it to pookie on the corner street selling drugs, having 10 kids, and not providing. And you wonder why our country is going down the drain. Pathetic

          • Gay Veteran

yes it is about Bush, AND Obama.

those who supported Bush are just as pathetic as those who support Obama

          • Mark

It would be about Bush if he was President now but Obummer is and we are presently living in the Obummer years or should I say the depressing years.

          • Gay Veteran

how much is Bush’s war of aggression against Iraq STILL costing us?

and yes, Bush AND Obama are war criminals

          • Mark

How much of LBJ’s Great Society programs of 1965 cost this country $trillions. I agree that the War in Iraq was a mistake which cost about $2 trillion. The great society programs cost this country $22 trillion and 2.5 million jobs. Its all on how you look at what we spend our money on. My point is every President/government creates wasteful spending but at what degree. Some worse than others. Just remember we wasted more tax revenue under Obummer than Bush. Lyndon Johnson is probably the worst with all the spending that has created more poverty, increased deficits, ghettos, and inner city failure than any other President. I like the way when someone puts down Obummer you question them but if I were to put down Bush I bet you would not say anything. You know GV I respect that you served our country although I do not agree with your life style my wife and I have gay friends. I get this idea that because your gay you should NOT be on the right or should I say conservative. You can still be conservative and gay. Look at the Log cabin Republicans. I believe you are torn between being gay and thinking you have to be liberal but are fighting your true feelings which may be conservative. Its Ok to be conservative. Although I do not agree with the gay life style I do believe everyone should be treated with the greatest respect. So please quit questioning my beliefs and start questioning your own and decide which side you belong on and I do not mean republican or Democrat. Also I have read your statements on religion. I think you need to respect people that believe in god and who are Christians. Instead of always questioning to prove them wrong why don’t you try to understand them better as I have tried to understand me and my wife’s gay friends.

          • Gay Veteran

“How much of LBJ’s Great Society programs of 1965 cost this country $trillions….”

            haven’t and won’t defended LBJ

“…I agree that the War in Iraq was a mistake which cost about $2 trillion….”

NO mistake, an intentional war of aggression

“…Just remember we wasted more tax revenue under Obummer than Bush….”

well that’s damning with faint praise for Bush.

“…I like the way when someone puts down Obummer you question them but if I were to put down Bush I bet you would not say anything….”

            really? when Bush=Obama=Clinton

“…I believe you are torn between being gay and thinking you have to be liberal….”

ROFLOL, liberals are hypocrites. They condemn Bush for the very things Obama has done.
and there are no more liberals and conservatives, all we have is neo-liberals and neo-conservatives.

“…I think you need to respect people that believe in god and who are Christians….”

            the second they respect me

          • Mark

You are one confusing individual. Clinton was a better President that Obama and Bush. I am a conservative and will admit that one. I will also say that I believe Reagan was our best president. We can disagree but please be consistent. I have to study and read now and do not have time to argue nonsense.

          • Gay Veteran

            Clinton???

you mean Slick Willie who brought us NAFTA and the shipping of American jobs to Mexico?

you mean Slick Willie who deregulated the media and now SIX corporations control over 90% of the media?

you mean Slick Willie who repealed the Glass-Stegall Act which unleashed the banksters?

jeez, I could go on but those 3 alone show what a TOTAL corporate whore Clinton is

          • Mark

I’m not going to argue with you because it is not worth it. We always get into the same arguement and have gridlock. I am not a neo-conservative but look at things as they are based on the data presented. Leaders make decisions Goid or bad but the end results can last decades. I will disagree with you about Bush, Clinton, and Obama. There is a difference in Presidents and the outcomes of their decisions and how they manage. I believe there is a big difference between Clinton, Bush, and Obama who I believe was the worst. I also think Reagan was the best leader and president. He was not perfect but as a leader he was effective. Richard Nixon was one of the most intelligent presidents with a high IQ and quite the pianist. However, he made many bad decisions including Water Gate and going off the gold standard. You may think that they are all the same but I differ. Yes, the Republicans and Democrats are both bad and feed off each other not accomplishing a thing.

One more thing….maybe if you would not push the gay thing people would have more respect for you. Instead of calling yourself gay vet call yourself by your real name. No one cares about the gay thang because I believe sexual preference is personal. I don’t call myself straight college football player. That’s nonsense. My wife’s one gay friend never discussed gay issues or discusses gay pride nonsense. We also don’t push our life style with him because we respect each other and our friendship. We also do not push our Christian religion although our gay friend is Christian. Anyway enough of my ranting. I have to read and study.

          • Gay Veteran

“… will disagree with you about Bush, Clinton, and Obama….”

ALL of them support empire abroad and the national security/surveillance state at home.

ALL of them are corporate whores.

and junior, I choose my screen name, not you

          • Mark

What president did not support empire aboard. It is politics unfortunately and has been in motion for years. I am not a globalist and all three support globalization which has hurt our country. I’m only looking at who was most effective and accomplished the most. Lesser of 3 evils.

          • Gay Veteran

you could easily say that Clinton did the most economic damage to this country

          • Mark

VS. Obama Clinton was more effective. Its not just economics but other issues such as foreign policy, domestic policies and keeping the country together. Clinton and Republicans created NAFTA and CAFTA which was a major mistake but the reality is we were losing jobs overseas since the early 1970s when the car industry with Japan accelerated. Globalization has been around for years but is accelerating. NAFTA and CAFTA was the nail on the coffin. It’s also about negotiation and working with people and Reagan/Clinton had that skill. May Ronald Reagan rest in peace.

          • Gay Veteran

Clinton unleashed the banksters, which led to the economic collapse 2008.

            what did Clinton negotiate?

          • Mark

Hummm???? Ahhh the GS act during 1994. Just remember that during LBJ in the 1960s the GS act was deregulated and was already doing damage. What about going off the gold standard in 1971with Nixon. What about creating the Fed Reserve in 1913 under Woodrow Wilson. Oh my god the globalists were doing their dirty work already in the early 1900s. You see every president has their hands in the cookie jar. However, which one will accelerate the most damage???? I say the Obummer.

          • Gay Veteran

do you see me defending Obama???

what about this, what about that, the FACT remains that Slick Willie got Glass Steagall repealed, thus opening the doors to the banksters nearly collapsing the economy in 2008

          • Mark

I agree that was a bad move but to be fair the republicans loved it too. That was an agreement with both parties which in the long run destroyed the banking industry. I am not a Wall Street fan either. That are all corrupt. I do believe that there is more corruption today than in the past. I’m not a NAFTA or CAFTA fan either. I also do not believe in big bureaucratic socialized governments. We live in some disturbing times. Maybe the Donald can slow the flow.

          • Gay Veteran

“…3. Wall Street’s Deregulator-in-Chief. As president, Clinton outdid the GOP when it came to unleashing Wall Street’s worst instincts, by supporting and signing into law more financial deregulation legislation than any other president, according to the Columbia Journalism Review….”

          • Mark

There you go again…..Wiki and looking for data that goes against Clinton. Columbia Journalism Review is a left wing think tank. Nobody that comes out of the Columbia School of Journalism has one inch of conservative ideas. Oh, and journalist are not economists. I went to college with prelaw and journalists majors that could not pass econ 101. True.

          • Gay Veteran

awwwww, poor thing having to defend the corrupt Clintons.

BOTH of the Clintons have been cashing in with their ties to the banksters.
what was Hillary getting? $200,000 per speech?
BOTH of them are corporate whores

          • Mark

I agree. The Clintons are corrupt and I am not the biggest fan. I am just comparing how effective he was compared to the other Prezs. Go Ronnie Reagan

          • Gay Veteran

anyone can google Saint Ronnie’s worst accomplishments, like funding the murdering Contras

          • Mark

            Hey,
I googled to get you going in a rant. I just wanted to prove you can look up anything these days to support an agenda or idea. For just a minute instead of having tunnel vision look at the whole picture.
I am not a Clinton fan at all. I am looking at past and present presidents and who was most effective. There were many things I did not like about Clinton but looking at other presidents such as Bush, Obummer, Carter, LBJ and Nixon they all had their bad moments. However, who lead most effectively and did the least harm. As I said I am a conservative and if either party goes way to the left or right it concerns me. I would say I am to the right but more center right.

          • Gay Veteran

sorry junior I don’t rant, unless you mistake the facts for ranting

          • Mark

Whatever ya say based on your facts… Or should I say Wiki Google facts. Hmmmmmm????

          • Gay Veteran

typical, attack the alleged source instead of the actual info

          • Gay Veteran

“…He [Clinton] didn’t just push the Democrats controlling the House to pass a bill (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act) that dissolved the Depression-era Glass-Steagall law, which barred investment banks from commercial banking activities. He deregulated the risky derivatives market (Commodity Futures Modernization Act), gutted state regulation of banks (Riegle-Neal) leading to a wave of banking mergers, and reappointed Alan Greenspan as Federal Reserve chair….”

          • Mark

            Dude,
You need to quit Wiking and copying and pasting from blogs you google. I can do the same thing and find positive things on why Clinton was successful. However, when I argue with you I am using my brain on what I learned. Remember in Business Law 101 during the 1960s and all the shenanigans with LBJ and GS Act. The Act was already being manipulated and more so back then. I did not look that up. I remembered. I don’t have the time to waste because I have work to do. You must be retired.

          • Gay Veteran

“…Remember in Business Law 101 during the 1960s and all the shenanigans with LBJ and GS Act….”

well that certainly justifies Slick Willie REPEALING it, NOT.

you don’t have time to waste? well you sure are WASTING it defending Slick Willie

          • Mark

Naaaaa, just making a point. I’m not defending the slickster but I am saying he was not the worst.

          • Gay Veteran

“…In 1979, then-candidate Reagan proposed a trade pact between the U.S., Canada and Mexico. But the Democrats who controlled the Congress would not approve it until Clinton pushed it in his first year in office. NAFTA has affected U.S. workers in four major ways, EPI said. It caused the permanent loss of 700,000 manufacturing jobs in industrial states such as California, Texas and Michigan. It gave corporate managers an excuse to cut wages and benefits, threatening otherwise to move to Mexico. Selling U.S. farm products in Mexico “dislocated millions of Mexican workers and their families,” which “was a major cause in the dramatic increase in undocumented workers flowing into the U.S. labor market.” And NAFTA became a “template for rules of the emerging global economy, in which the benefits would flow to capital and the costs to labor.”…”

          • Mark

We never enforced our current immigration policies either. Maybe if we would have enforced illegal immigration there would have been different outcomes.

          • Gay Veteran

“…8. Returned to Cold War priorities. As the Soviet Union collapsed, the U.S. under President George H.W. Bush forged ahead with the same imperialist stance toward Europe. As Bush’s successor, Clinton had an historic opportunity to attempt a cooperative, non-aggressive international model based on international law. While his administration frequently gave lip service to these ideals, a far-reaching economic and political agenda to bring Eastern Europe into the NATO-E.U.-U.S. orbit was in the works. As Clinton’s former national security advisor Anthony Lake summarized, “Throughout the cold war, we contained a global threat to market democracies: now we should seek to enlarge their reach.” And enlarge they did.

The Clinton administration intervened massively across the former Soviet satellite states of Eastern Europe, with direct interventions in the Balkans through NATO, corporate buyouts of industry from Poland to the Czech Republic, and the notorious “shock doctrine” of neoliberal economic reforms in exchange for IMF loans: cutting wages and corporate taxes, increasing working hours and slashing social programs. Bringing the Baltic states and Eastern Bloc countries into military arrangements associated with NATO, and establishing a major military garrison in the Balkans, Bill Clinton set the stage for the clash on Russia’s border in Ukraine currently overseen by Obama, which could last for decades and undermine the process of integrating Russia into the industrialized world….”

          • Mark

Nice copy and paste from WIKI or where ever you copy and paste from. All speculation and theory. Why??? Because one event can change everything. What if there was no clash between the Ukrine an Russia. Russia is the aggressor. Putin is an ex soviet KGB who wants nothing more than to take back all those satellites. Nothing wrong with bringing those states to NATO.
Oh, and international law is so effective. Which way does international law tilt? If he went against international law why was not he reprimanded???

          • Gay Veteran

oh yes, allllllllllll those Russian tanks entering eastern Ukraine.
got any photos? U.S. has the MOST advances spy satellites in the world and we can’t produce any photos. In the age of the “selfie” we can’t produce any photos.

          • Mark

Maybe they don’t want to take a selfie. Maybe they want it to be a secret. Only the Shadow knows.

          • Gay Veteran

            “cute” reply.

AGAIN: got any photos? U.S. has the MOST advances spy satellites in the world and we can’t produce any photos.

          • Mark

Why thank you my dear gay friend.
Well, when I don’t want someone to see me doing something would I take a selfie of it.???? Hmmmmm????

          • Gay Veteran

            still avoiding the question:

got any photos? U.S. has the MOST advances spy satellites in the world and we can’t produce any photos.

          • Gay Veteran

are you dense? people taking selfies can TURN the cell phone around and take pictures of all those Russian tanks invading Ukraine……..well they could if there were any

          • Mark

Not as dense as you my friend. Oh by the way do you think we really went to the moon??? Are those pictures real????? I’m sure there are things going that are just not available to the public. Oh, I do believe we went to the moon.

          • Gay Veteran

ah yes, another troll trick, CHANGE THE SUBJECT.

we’re talking about all those Russian tanks “invading” Ukraine with not a single U.S. spy satellite photo showing any tanks

          • Mark

All speculation. Besides why argue you have your opinion and I have mine.

          • Gay Veteran

WHERE are the U.S. spy satellite photos showing all those Russian tanks invading Ukraine???

WHERE are photos from people on the ground showing all those Russian tanks invading Ukraine???

          • Gay Veteran

“…Putin is an ex soviet KGB who wants nothing more than to take back all those satellites. Nothing wrong with bringing those states to NATO…..”

yeah, let’s bring Ukraine into NATO. it would be like the old Warsaw Pact bringing Mexico.

and it figures you buy the neo-con LIES.
international law? ROFLOL, it was the U.S. that sponsored a Na zi backed coup in Ukraine. It was the U.S. that wages a war of aggression against Iraq, Libya, Syria, etc.

as for NATO, it should have been disbanded after the Cold War, now our vassals provide cover for our war crimes

          • Mark

You blame everything on the US. Hey, we need to play politics to keep things from getting out of hand. Someone will be the aggressor. We are only preventing aggression and expansion of tyrants.

          • Gay Veteran

“…We are only preventing aggression and expansion of tyrants.”

            what a SICK joke!

our war of aggression against Iraq resulted in over a MILLION dead people and a country in chaos with waves of refugees.

our war of aggression against Libya resulted in chaos and the first wave of refugees into Italy.

our war of aggression against Syria has left over 250,000 dead, war and chaos, with waves of refugees flooding into Europe.

and of course we are supporting the Saudis with their war of aggression against Yemen (the poorest country in the region, and the Saudis can even defeat them).

            and expansion of tyrants???

what dictator on the planet did we not support? like the current dictator in Egypt (who seized power in a military coup which by LAW meant we could no longer provide aid to that country and yet we continue to provide aid)

          • Mark

I never said the war in Iraq was a good thing and thought is was a bad move on Bush and our government but you do not see the whole picture. If you study history this has been going on for thousands of years. I see your point but eventually we were going to be involved in middle east conflicts due to the rise of aggression in terrorism.
When those twin towers were destroyed that changed the whole world and how we deal with the new war called terrorism.
You can never avoid war my friend and with NK obtaining supposedly 8 nukes and testing ICBMs we are heading into dark times. Iran is another tyrant along with many terrorist organizations increasing we will be an another war unfortunately. Look at Europe and how they are falling due to Muslin extremism. Germany is in bad shape. You want that to happen in this country. No way.

          • Gay Veteran

“…eventually we were going to be involved in middle east conflicts due to the rise of aggression in terrorism…..”

terrorists we created by our wars of aggression, and some terrorists we funded along with Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

            “…You can never avoid war….”

BS, we avoided it during the Cold War.

            “…Iran is another tyrant….”

gee, wonder why the Iranians hate us??? could it be because we overthrew their democratically elected government in the 1950s and replaced with a REAL tyrant: the Shah

“…Look at Europe and how they are falling due to Muslin extremism….”

all those Muslim refugees BECAUSE of our wars of aggression in Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria, etc.

          • Mark

That’s your opinion. We live in a global society which I am not fond of either but they is the way it is. The next 10 years will be hell. Get used to it.

          • Gay Veteran

everything I said was fact, otherwise rebut it

          • Mark

I can google too or Wiki….Oh, I did find the info you copied on the FP website. Not disputing that Clintons foreign policy was great. He made many mistakes and we are seeing them today. However, I am just comparing our times with the present and how impactful our current president has been in being effective. I still believe Obummer is the worst based on his policies and outcomes. I told you I am a Reagan guy at heart but Clinton did some good things.

            Accomplishments of Clinton.

Revitalized, adapted and expanded NATO from a static Cold War alliance to a magnet for new democracies, with new partners, members and missions; adapted its command structure; admitted Hungary, Poland and the Czech Republic; created Partnership for Peace.

Led NATO in its first military engagement and stopped the killing in Bosnia. The peace we brokered in Dayton has been sustained, a civil society complete with active opposition parties and non-governmental organizations is taking root, and national and local elections have taken place throughout the country.

Took military action in Kosovo to stop ethnic cleansing and regional instability. Forced withdrawal of Serb forces and deployed an international presence in Kosovo — with a 47,000 strong NATO-led force providing security for the province. Achieved the safe and unconditional return of over 900,000 refugees, disbanded the Kosovo Liberation Army.

Adapting and Upholding our Alliance with Asia

Updated our strategic alliance with Japan through adoption of the Defense Guidelines and Joint Security Declaration to define how to respond together to post-Cold War threats.

Reduced the North Korean threat through deterrence, diplomacy. Negotiated the October 1994 Framework Agreement to freeze and dismantle North Korea’s dangerous nuclear weapons fuel production and a moratorium on long-range missile testing in 1999.

Strengthened cooperation with South Korea to move forward to engage North Korea. Jointly engaged in Four Party Talks and established Trilateral Group (the United States, Japan and South Korea) to coordinate North Korea policy which helped create the conditions for an eventual North-South dialogue.

Peace and Security for the United States Depends on Building Principled, Constructive, Clear-Eyed Relations with Our Former Adversaries.

We must continue to be mindful of threats to the peace — whether it is a Russian move against Georgia or a Chinese move against Taiwan — while maximizing the chances that both nations evolve internally toward greater democracy, stability and prosperity. To achieve both goals, we must continue to seize on the desire of both Russia and China to participate in the global economy and global institutions, insisting they accept the obligations as well as the benefits of integration.

Building on Our Relationship with Russia

Negotiated the exit of Russian troops from the Baltics, brought Russian troops into NATO missions in the Balkans and won Russia’s active support for a just end to the Kosovo war.

Brought Russia into the G-8, APEC, and into relationships with NATO and international financial institutions.

Reduced the nuclear danger. Deactivated/dismantled over 1,700 nuclear warheads, 300 missile launchers, 425 ICBM and SLBMs; strengthened security and accounting of nuclear materials; purchased 500 metric tons of weapons-grade uranium; reached agreement for the safe, transparent and irreversible destruction of 68 metric tons of weapons-grade plutonium.

Supported economic reform and the creation of a market economy. More than 250,000 Russian entrepreneurs have received U.S. training, consulting services or loans. Today 70 percent of the Russian economy is in private hands.

Building on Our Relationship with China

Helped maintain peace in the Taiwan Straits and worked with China to maintain stability on Korean Peninsula.

Brought China into global non-proliferation regimes — Chemical Weapons Convention, CTBT and Biological Weapons Convention.

Negotiated terms for China’s entry into the World Trade Organization, with Permanent Normal Trade Relations. Most constructive breakthrough in U.S.-China relations since normalization in 1979 — will entangle China more deeply in a rules-based international system and change China internally.

Local Conflicts can have Global Consequences. The Purpose of Peacemaking, Whether by Diplomacy or Force, Must be to Resolve Conflicts Before They Escalate and Harm Our Vital Interests.

In a global age, arguments for peacemaking are even stronger: to defuse conflicts before they escalate and harm our interests. America’s dominant power is more likely to be accepted if it is harnessed to the cause of peace.

Middle East: Brought parties together at Camp David for first high level discussions of all permanent status issues. Helped forge agreements that led to the Declaration of Principles in September 1993 and the Interim Agreement on Palestinian self-rule in September 1995. Brokered the Wye agreement in October 1998, revitalizing the peace process after years of stagnation. Helped broker the Sharm el-Sheikh Memorandum against terrorism in September 1999, and the peace treaty between Jordan and Israel in October 1994.

Balkans: Stabilizing Southeast Europe by ending a decade of repression and ethnic cleansing in Kosovo. Led NATO alliance to victory in air campaign and ushering in international peacekeepers. Launched the Stability Pact to strengthen democracy, economic development and security throughout the region, and accelerating its integration with the rest of Europe and freeing Europe from a permanent refugee crisis and source of conflict.

Greece and Turkey: Encouraged Greek-Turkish rapprochement. Strongly supported Turkey’s European Union candidacy. Restarted talks toward a comprehensive settlement on Cyprus.

India and Pakistan: Helped them move from the brink of what might have been a catastrophic war in July 1999.

Northern Ireland: Helped broker the Good Friday Peace Accord, ending decades of bloodshed and empowering the people of Northern Ireland to determine their future.

Peru and Ecuador: Worked with other regional governments to halt the 1995 border war between Peru and Ecuador.

Eritrea and Ethiopia: Negotiated a final, comprehensive peace agreement between Eritrea and Ethiopia, signed on December 12, 2000. The agreement built upon the Cessation of Hostilities Agreement brokered by the U.S. and the Organization of African Unity in June 2000, and brought to an end what was at that time the largest conventional war on earth.

Not All Old Threats have Disappeared, but New Dangers, Accentuated by Technological Advances and the Permeability of Borders, Require New National Security Priorities.

One of the biggest changes we have brought about in the way America relates to the world has been the change in what we consider important. The Clinton Administration has defined a new security agenda that addresses contemporary threats — nonproliferation, terrorism, international crime, infectious disease, environmental damage.

Nonproliferation: Permanently eliminated nuclear weapons and their delivery vehicles from Ukraine, Belarus and Kazakhstan. Signed the Comprehensive Nuclear Test Ban Treaty and achieved the indefinite extension of the Non-Proliferation Treaty and ratification of the Chemical Weapons Convention.

Terrorism: Developed a national counter-terrorism strategy, led by a national coordinator. Brought perpetrators of World Trade Center bombing and CIA killings to justice. Prevented planned attacks against Millennium celebrations.

Cyber Security: Developed first national strategy to protect critical infrastructure, bringing together private sector and government. Increased funding on critical infrastructure protection by over 40 percent since 1998.

Chemical and Biological Weapons: Strengthened international support for and adherence to CWC/BWC. Equipped and trained first responders in 120 largest metro areas.

Environment: Brought climate change issues into the mainstream of our foreign policy. Negotiated Kyoto protocol in 1997 to establish a strong, realistic framework to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in environmentally strong and economically sound way.

Infectious Disease: Made the international fight against deadly infectious diseases a national security priority. Introduced the issue to the U.S.-EU Summit, the United Nations Millennium Assembly, and the G-8 Summit in Okinawa and mobilized billions from our international partners. More than doubled foreign assistance for HIV/AIDS. Working to accelerate the development of vaccines for AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, and other major disease threats through the President’s Millennium Vaccine Initiative.

International Crime: Intensified interdiction efforts, cracking down on drug lords and providing $1.6 billion in assistance for Colombia. Combating trafficking in persons, especially women and children, with an integrated strategy that focuses on prevention, prosecution of traffickers and protection of and assistance to victims.
More stable than that Obummer who made the ticking time bomb worse in the middle east.

one president after another getting worse and worse, and that includes Saint Ronnie.
they all build on the abuse of power of their predecessor

          • Mark

            True.

          • Gay Veteran

            “….1. Prison-loving president…

Tag-teaming with ex-President Ronald Reagan, Clinton is the president most responsible for the mass incarceration of Americans on an epic scale. The gung-ho crime fighter-in-chief passed the single most damaging law with his omnibus federal crime bill in 1994, which included the infamous “three strikes” law (three felony convictions means a life sentence) and ensured that mandatory minimum sentences imprisoned even low-level, non-violent offenders for a long, long time….”

          • Mark

You like to WIKI a lot don’t you. Good because we need to put criminals away. Oh, and Obummer has done a great job with crime and race???? Our cities are on fire and crumbling and he has done nothing. They are worse like so many things in this country in the past 8 years.

          • Gay Veteran

you don’t see me defending Obama, unlike you defending Slick Willie.

mindless “war on drugs” is wasting untold $BILLIONS, and results in more police abuses

          • Mark

We have a huge drug problem in this country. My brother was s Baltimore City police officer before joining the DEA. He has put his life on the line many times and has many disturbing and tragic stories to share. The war on drugs was not a waste. Have a discussion with him on this and he may change your mind. Also, he is a NRA member and a conservative. I’m proud of him for his service.

          • Gay Veteran

“…The war on drugs was not a waste….”

not if you believe in a police state.

WHAT has the “war of drugs” accomplished?

started the ball rolling on shredding our rights, police brutality and corruption, non-violent people in corporate prisons, increased violence in poor communities ,etc.

          • Mark

I’m sorry but you are wrong. I support our police departments and they put their lives on the line everyday. Ask my brother. Again you are not in law enforcement and have no room to talk. Drugs are killing this country and we are going down as a country because it. Colorado passing the bill to legalize marijuana has done nothing but create a pot smoking society of young people that will never be productive. Even Jerry Brown in California who is a big Lib admitted to that one. We will need a police society to keep order when pookie does not get his welfare check and rants on the streets like in Ferguson MO. You want to blame someone then blame our government for creating a welfare state and a society of people that have no ambition or goals. They created ghettos, poverty, crime, killing, and uneducated people. Why??? One big reason is drugs. How many kids are born into this situation. They all become a by-product of a failed socialist agenda.
Let me tell you a story my brother told me when he worked the streets of Baltimore before joining the DEA. They arrested a person on a drug deal in a low income neighborhood in the west side of Baltimore City. Of course there were children in this home who were not fed or clothed properly. My brother went to the local McDonalds and got them food and made sure they were ok during this unfortunate situation. There was not much more he could do but what made me upset was when he said, “you know what is disturbing to me is that someday these kids are going to grow up and they will probably be shooting a gun at me or selling drugs”. They will never remember this situation or the police that tried to help. Police are not the problem its our rotten society. A godless society.

          • Gay Veteran

            “…I support our police departments….”

jeez, why am I NOT surprised. The police enforce order for the State, and now they have become so militarized that they view us as the enemy. God forbid you don’t instantly OBEY them, a beating will be the least of your worries.

“…Again you are not in law enforcement and have no room to talk….”

I’ll talk about the corrupt cops all I want. Good cops? There are no good cops when they protect the bad cops.

“…Colorado passing the bill to legalize marijuana has done nothing but create a pot smoking society of young people that will never be productive….”

That’s your opinion. But you see, there’s this little thing called freedom and the right to do with your body as you will.

again, WHAT has the “war of drugs” accomplished?
started the ball rolling on shredding our rights, police brutality and corruption, non-violent people in corporate prisons, increased violence in poor communities ,etc.

          • Mark

As I thought you like anarchy. No laws or morals. Do people have the right to get drunk and kill someone on the road. I can see you don’t believe in self-responsibility. How sad because that is what is part of our problems in America.

          • Gay Veteran

great strawman you built. who, besides YOU, said anything about anarchy or no self-responsibility.

drug laws? abolish them like Portugal did, and drug use went DOWN.

get drunk and hurt/kill someone? go to prison

get high at home and don’t hurt anyone? none of Big Brother’s business

For those who say about the store closings:”It’s just people buying online”.Yesterday,Sports Authority filed for bankruptcy.People do not buy sporting equipment online for the most part.

    • Mark

You are partially right and wrong. On-line sales are taking more market share but Americans are spending less over all. Sales continue to decline over all. Store closings are down because overall sales are decreasing and people are buying online because it is cheaper. Disposable income is down. Latest info has average household income down $2000.00. Just remember that those stores sell clothing and most people still go to a brick and mortar to buy cloths. Buying cloths online is a pain if it does not fit and you end up sending it back. I know many people that can’t afford new cloths and wear their stuff until it has holes. Then they go out and buy what they need. No disposable income.

For right now,we’ll have to be satisfied with Hillary Hoover’s “Make America Whole Again.”

      • SunnyFlaSnotress

        you got that right :)

      • sistersoldier

As in cross dressing J. Edgar Hoover?

      • Malcolm Reynolds

I think you misquoted her on that.
I’m pretty sure she said, “Make America a hole again.”
Progressivism has ruled the day for 100 years and it’s slo mo collapsing all around us. To think one of them is going to just magically turn it all around is buffoonery at best.

        • Gay Veteran

and where are the conservatives opposing these all powerful evil progressives?

          • Malcolm Reynolds

What does it matter to you since you’re not a democrat? wink wink

          • Gay Veteran

“…Please cite where I indicated only democrats are progressives….”

WHERE did I say that? you’re making it up yet again.

            now AGAIN:
where are the conservatives opposing these all powerful evil progressives?

          • Malcolm Reynolds

WHERE did I say that? you’re making it up yet again.

Umm, right here where you clearly laid out a dichotomy between the two you f’ing buffoon.

conservatives opposing these all powerful evil progressives?

Thanks, but I don’t have the energy to cater to stupidity today. If you wanna be spanked, I’m sure your boyfriend will oblige.

          • Gay Veteran

let’s go back to what you claimed: “…Please cite where I indicated only democrats are progressives….”

I asked WHERE did I say that? you’re making it up yet again.

you respond with “dichotomy”? ROFLOL, your typical BS.

And He will be there Sunny waiting for you as the Earth is the Lord’s and the fullness there of, Where shall I go, the Psalmist said to get away from God? “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend to heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in Sheol, behold, You are there. If I take the wings of the dawn, If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea,…”

You get the gist of it.

        • SunnyFlaSnotress

God is going to meet me in the Bahamas? I will buy him a Pina Colada for sure!

          • sistersoldier

Yes as He is Omnipresent, everywhere and at the same time.

          • SunnyFlaSnotress

            There’s no god.

          • sistersoldier

Good Morning Sunny. There are many “gods” or “demi-gods” by that I mean idols that have a vice over people. Such as “atheism” it is a lesser god – a belief system and a stronghold, “Money” can also be a god, the god of mammon. Basically whatever defines your beliefs and you operate under its influence is the “god” of your life or master of your fate since we have a tendency to die in the life we live. However, God as in Jehovah, as in the Great I Am is very real. A loving God does exist and you can know Him intimately and personally. He will fill every empty void that sin leaves behind. If you deny His Son Jesus Christ while on Earth, as no one can come to the Father unless the Son draws them, then He will deny you before the Father that He never knew you. But again we receive what we believe. I long to be in paradise with all my loved ones that died in Christ before me. And all the little ones whose lives were cut short that I grieved heavily for even though they were my brothers and sisters children I loved them as if they were mine and I miss them. Looking forward to reuniting with them is worth more than any earthly treasure and any empty promise that NOT believing in God can offer. Praying for you everyday.

          • Malcolm Reynolds

That cute and all, but I’m pretty sure democrats did that. And since we already know you support it, we can include imbeciles like you in that.

          • Gay Veteran

1 Samuel 15 (New International Version):

Now go, attack the Amalekites and totally destroy everything that belongs to them. Do not spare them; put to death men and women, children and infants, cattle and sheep, camels and donkeys.

who knew the democrats were with the Israelis when they attacked the Amalekites

          • Malcolm Reynolds

Every other day of the week, you say God and the Bible are fiction so….
I get it, you just ascribe to the ridiculous leftard notion that someone else is responsible for what you do.

There you go displaying your reading comprehension deficiencies again

I never said or thought America is fine or even close to it,

I believe this will go on for quite a while, possibly past our lifetime.

Now since I am at work, I should probably do something other than be here. I think I will go clean the windows on my car.

            Adios pendejo.

          • Malcolm Reynolds

So that’s a no, you cannot juxtapose fair usage of a US govt image vs stealing a private corporation’s logo. Yea, I think that falls under that whole lack of comprehension disability crap you were spouting.

          • Malcolm Reynolds

See: The Gabby Giffords incident and leftard imbeciles piling all over each other to blame a stupid election map used by the opposition.

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

God lawfully has the right to execute judgement on ANYONE. All people have sinned against God and are under His Righteous Judgement.

The Amalekites execution was not an arbitrary killing nor a murder. Murder is unlawful taking of life, killing is lawful taking of life. When God ordered the execution of the Amalekite people… every man, woman and child it was lawfull because they were in rebellion and sin against God.

Also the delivering of the young into the hands of the Lord can be considered merciful as not giving them time to become utterly sinful and losing their souls. Also further generations that would have arisen from this perverse culture are prevented from coming into existence and spreading their sin.

This is why the Amalekites were destroyed…..

          • sistersoldier

Thank you Bill. I appreciate you. And your words are straight as arrows! The truth would set him free if only he would receive it.

          • Gay Veteran

hey sisterSouljah, did you read what he wrote???

“…every man, woman and child it was lawfull because they were in rebellion and sin against God….”

so you too think the children and BABIES were in rebellion and sin against “god”?!?!?!?!?

            YOU TOO ARE SICK

          • sistersoldier

Yes, I read his post with careful and spiritual discernment which obviously you are lacking. He said that, “delivering the young into the hands of the Lord can be considered merciful as not giving them time to become utterly sinful and losing their souls” And again the truth would set you free if only you would receive it but you are blind and your understanding is darkened because of your iniquities. You are alienated and an enemy of the cross which is unprofitable for you. Rather than worry about history you should be more concerned about your eternal destiny. God is God all by Himself and He does not require nor does He need your approval.

          • Gay Veteran

you defend a baby murdering “god” and wonder why people think you’re a religious extremist. interesting

          • sistersoldier

The “people” don’t think that – only you. You know my brother was a double amputee. He was a decorated soldier who served this country well. He didn’t harbor resentment and hatred towards God. And even though he was the one who needed help he still had a soldier’s heart as he continued to carry those who were more able than he and he did it with strength of character. He was the one with no legs but he stilled carried his loved ones by helping them, feeding them and loving them. I asked him if he believed in God and he told me that he never thought about God one way or the other. Near the end of his life he told me that he received a warm visitation that gave him help through his increasing pain. He was ready to be with the Lord by the time his light was to be extinguished on earth. He never blamed anyone for his disposition but proudly and manly rose to the occasion while always being a gentleman. You are a shameful person who I would rather not converse with as you continue to blaspheme the Lord God and I do not want to be a part of your judgment. Please keep your derogatory and inflammatory opinions about God to your miserable self!

          • Gay Veteran

why does “god” NEVER answer the prayers of amputees?

“god” supposedly “cures” cancer, but NEVER a limb regenerated.

and shameful? you are a SICK p.o.s. who worships a “god” who ordered the murder of BABIES

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

GOD doesnt murder…… MAN does !

          • Gay Veteran

killing a BABY incapable even of thought is murder, your “god” did it

Yeah man…. It ain’t murder its delivering them into the hands of a loving god hahahahahahahahaha. why can’t we discern the difference?

          • awb22

It’s all a fairy tale to you anyway, so if it didn’t happen, or it’s all made up, what is it to you?

It’s a rhetorical question, you idiot! You and I both know why. You reject the truth of God’s Word, and as if that isn’t enough, you delight in ridiculing those who do believe.

I think that says enough about you as a person, despicable and uncouth, the worst human nature has to offer. Oh, let’s be tolerant! Yeah, right, towards everyone except believers of the truth. I’ll gladly accept your mocking, and be thankful for the blessing it is to be counted in the same company as the Lord Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God Almighty, creator of Heaven and Earth and all that is in them.

Thank you for your comment, sir!

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

            Absolutely beautiful……..Amen.

          • Steve Inskeep

killing kids can be considered merciful? then what is your bitch against abortion than those babies be born into this satan controlled world? does not compute! Ought to be for more not less

          • sistersoldier

Spiritual things are spiritually discerned. So I expect you to go on being a brute rebellious beast in complete defiance of Almighty God. Why do you inquire of me what you should ask God directly?

          • awb22

ever hear of the term accountability? I didn’t think so

          • Gay Veteran

hey Einstein, explain accountability and how it pertains to the murder of babies

          • awb22

you deserve no response, and you’ll get none, sodomite.

          • Gay Veteran

“…every man, woman and child it was lawfull because they were in rebellion and sin against God….”

oh yes, the children and BABIES were in rebellion and sin against “god”

            YOU ARE SICK

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

the children and babies went right to God……..just like all the aborted “murdered” babies

          • Gay Veteran

baby murdered by “god”, aborted baby, both go straight to “god”.
then why oppose abortion, Bathhouse Bill

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

Man interfered in Gods plan for the baby and “murdered” the baby.

I believe that the only reason we have not suffered extreme judgement over abortion is the ABORTED BABIES go straight to God. But the judgement is coming!

God doesn’t murder man does !

          • sistersoldier

Amen and amen again. Man’s heart is evil from His youth. What he (Mr. Sodomite) fails to realize is that God does not hear the prayers of those who regard iniquity in their hearts. He is the God of regeneration and the architect of metaphysics, a God of increase and a God of love and mercy.

          • Gay Veteran

“…He is the God of regeneration….”

hey sisterSouljah, no regeneration of limbs for amputees

          • Gay Veteran

            “…God doesn’t murder man does !”
your “god” just orders man to kill babies

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

Listen you are so lost and looking for justification of your lifestyle so you attack GOD thinking if I could just prove that it is all a lie…..

I answered in a lengthy post about the Amalekites and the tribes of Canaan .

Life here is about going to God not the life…..when children or babies die they go directly to God now in the case of the Amalekites theirs was a perverted culture and the young ones would have grown up lost with no hope…..and had more children with no hope. I explained it all in the last post but I guess you think that if you ask the same question over and over you will get a different answer…wrong

          • Gay Veteran

            “…for justification of your lifestyle….”

            project much?

you’ll do anything to justify your evil “god”.
what, your “god” couldn’t order the Israelites to capture the children and babies and raise them as them own?!?!?!?!?
religious zealots like you are pathetic

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

Gay Veteran….You are laying on the floor squirming crying and screaming please please I have to make your GOD go away….he is a meanie meanie meanie I cant take anymore being told I have a sinful lifestyle oh if I could just get rid of him that meanie…..grow up !

I die and live you die and die

          • Gay Veteran

            hey Polly, you’re repeating yourself

          • awb22

you err in that you know neither the scripture nor the power of god.

you become a living soul when you take your first breath, and when you take your last, you die.

          • Gay Veteran

awwww, poor awb22, fears death so much you believe anything

          • awb22

            I certainly don’t fear you.

“The last enemy to be destroyed is death.” (1 Corinthians 15:26 ESV)

“Death is swallowed up in victory.
O death, where is your victory?
O death, where is your sting?” (1 Corinthians 15:54-55 ESV)

            As for you, sodomite,

“But Jesus answered them, You are wrong, because you know neither the Scriptures nor the power of God.” (Matthew 22:29 ESV)

Your end will be the same as your father, the devil.

” You believe that God is one; you do well. Even the demons believe—and shudder!” (James 2:19 ESV)

“And cast the worthless servant into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.” (Matthew 25:30 ESV)

“Truly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.” (Matthew 18:18 ESV)

As they say in the legal profession, “You’ve been served”

and no, I don’t pity you, fool

  • kathy k

I totally agree with you Michael. Unfortunately MSM continues to blather that manufacturing is up, more jobs were added than expected and blah blah blah. As long as people hear what they want to nothing will be done until it is to late. Keep up the good work.

    • K

Well said. It is not just the lies, but the people who want to believe those lies.

      • kathy k

Thank you K you are one of my favorites

We are a society drunk on false optimism. I can’t wait for all these people to wake up, as mean as that sounds.

  • greanfinisher .

A new global recession is here? Really? As far as the United States is concerned, I wasn’t aware that it ever came out of the last Depression.

    • AzDi

      Exactly!!

      • greanfinisher .

With an unemployment rate above 20% since 2009, I wouldn’t know how else to describe it.

        • df NJ

If you believe the government numbers, the percentage of people actually employed has been rising steadily. Google “bureau of labor statistics Employment-Population Ratio”

……..and I thought that the Warren Report belonged in the dumpster.

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

      Me to!! These optimists!!!

If one has been bogged down in the snake pit long enough, they’re bound to dream on.

It’s all part of the plan. The crossroads of economic collapse and world war will meet at a coordinated time. The job opportunity will be to step forward, sign your name to the list, don the uniform and be shipped off for certain death. That’s how this game is played.

And the latest retail chain to go belly up is…. (drum roll please)
    The Sports Authority.

YUP sitting at home looking at the employment section for the latest flipping burgers high tech position………..

  • Mondobeyondo

Plunging manufacturing numbers… Baltic Dry Index in record low territories… yep, it’s starting to make sense. No one is making stuff, and no one is shipping stuff (presumably because there’s nothing to ship).

Something that could really jump start the domestic economy, would be to bring back good quality manufacturing jobs. Good luck on that. That horse has already left the barn.

  • OrdinaryNeutronAlley

Typical TEA Party blather and “Chicken Little” sky is about to fall stuff. Our economy is the only one in the World not stagnant or recessing.

The dollar has gained valuation in the currency exchanges. China could put the yuan on the “FREE market” currency exchanges , rather that their “artificial valuations” internally right?

If China were to do that, then then FREE World will progress with slow growth. Guess what, France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Egypt, Greece & many other “old countries” are mainly tourism supported economies.

IF people don’t have the money to travel, those countries dive, don’t they?

Then the EU has just one small problem with Middle eastern Islamic types immigrating to northern Europe, don’t they? IF you buzzards might look globally, instead of parochially, then this STUFF wouldn’t be that problematic, eh?

Just ask Warren Buffett or red his letter to shareholders of recent publication.

    • Gay Veteran

      from zerohedge:

“…Still more salt: despite unprecedented government debt and spending, new programs, particularly Obamacare, central bank debt monetization, and ultra-low interest rates, the purported recovery is the weakest on record, with the labor force participation rate at a multi-decade low, the number of people on food stamps recently reaching a record high, and real incomes back where they were in the 1970s. Those ultra-low interest rates have destroyed the incentive to save and forced retirees back into the workforce (the one group whose labor force participation rate has increased), but provided cheap funding to the carry-trade set, stock options-laden corporate executives, and Silicon Valley moguls. Their trophy art, cars, mansions, and spouses grace the media. That’s beyond salt, it’s rubbing people’s noses in it….”

      • df NJ

Who do you blame, Satan or God? You could argue human nature simply has a bad design. Or you could argue Satan is really good at corrupting people’s souls. Either way, Jesus is clearly not winning the battle for hearts and minds and ultimately souls.

        • Jacynthia Read

The choice is out there, it is up to the individual to choose his/her path. This is what Jesus said: …narrow is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leads unto life, and few there be that find it. Matthew 7:14. For many are called, but few are chosen. Matthew 22:14

So you see it isn’t a contest. Jesus has done His part. The rest is up to mankind.

Christine, first please allow me apologize if I have offended you. God has pricked my heart concerning you and has told me to
give you a very special message from Him. The message is: God loves you so much that He wants you to know that He gave His only begotten Son so that you may have every lasting life. All you have to do is believe in Him…believe that He loves you and that He paid the price so that you might live.

Do whatever you must to get a Chinese Bible in
your dialect and begin reading in the first book (Matthew) of the New Testament.
Read all four of the first four books. God’s Son, Jesus, will speak to you. I’ll be praying for you.

      • Jerry C

You really think that the entire global economy collapsing at the same time is by coincidence? Your last sentence should clue you in that this happening instantaneously goes beyond the physical. Some. People. Never. Learn.

    • Donald Wilson

Unfortunately Christine you are somewhat clueless to what has been an ongoing problem within the good ol USA. There are nearly 50 million people on the food stamp program, then we have nearly 100 million unemployed, under employed or who have just given up trying to find a job. Over the past 30 plus years approximately 52000 manufacturing facilities have closed their doors and have relocated in other countries in an effort to save money. The idiots in Washington DC are clueless or just don’t care. The large corporations cannot understand why they are having problems selling their fancy cars and other little trinkets. People just don’t have the disposable income to buy the nice shiny new cars and other toys. Plain and simple the jobs that are being created are jobs that pay anywhere in the range of 10 to 15 dollars per hour. This country and many others around the world are utter ruins in the very near future. The End. Good Luck and Good Night…

      • Christine Woo

You say same as otter crazyies year after year. Go hide in cave and take cheetos and diapers, OK joe?

        • Donald Wilson

Hey John you are one delusional person, do some research before spewing garbage. I took the time and conducted my own research but it’s quite obvious you are just too lazy to put down the remote control and get off the couch and conduct your own research. Everyone who I have confronted and explained exactly what I had posted said the same thing you said. Then I proved them wrong, I showed them the data; when I asked them if they had checked data, they said NO, they listened to the talking heads on the main stream news networks. These very same people failed to take the time check it out for themselves. Well John you are wrong if you listen to the talking heads, these clowns say exactly what they are paid to say. Take the time and do the research.

          • John Brown

More you tak, less you say, joe. Guess if you say enough time, you berieve…

You red-state Republican voters have destroyed this country. All the factories in this country are gone because the Chinese pegged the Yuan to the dollar at 6 to 1. This means a CEO gets 6 Chinese workers for every one American worker. For the math illiterate 6 is bigger than 1.

Every attempt by pro-labor Democrats to stop Chinese currency manipulation was shot down by Republicans in committee. No factory workers means no customers. No customers means depression.

Look, the problems with our country are not rocket science. The lobbyists force the politicians to pass legislation creating cartels and monopolies in exchange for campaign financing.

You math illiterate red-state Republicans need to understand it absolutely doesn’t matter how much you pay in taxes. What does matter is the purchasing power of your take home pay. When you have 50 years of anti-labor pro-monopoly legislation the result is your take home pay just doesn’t buy as much. This is because the monopolies can charge whatever they want for goods and services because there is no competition.

For example, take healthcare premiums for a family of four. Over the last 15 years healthcare premiums have gone up 300%. That means every 5 years your cost of healthcare doubles. How is that even possible if we actually had competition. It’s not.

Look, I get it. Democrats are all corrupt and worthless. But at some point if we want to have a better economy people will need to make higher wages. It’s all about purchasing power of the worker’s median wage. Everything else is meaningless drivel.

    • Scott Comin

      So true

    • Gay Veteran

      pro labor democrats???
you mean the ones who supported NAFTA?

      • df NJ

Come on, what party sponsored NAFTA? Clinton was not a pro-labor Democrat. The Clinton’s are Nixon Republicans.

        • Jacynthia Read

But it would not have passed without those Democrat votes.

        • Gay Veteran

let me give you a clue: BOTH parties support empire abroad and the national security/surveillance state at home. they BOTH support neo-con and neo-liberal policies

          • Mark

Hey I agree. Both parties support globalization.

  • Jazz

Jazz said new highs were on the way. The global markets bottomed and now are racing higher. Woo hoo! Ride the bull.

    • ALWAYSTOMORROW

How dare you come here bringing happiness and good news.

      • Jazz

I know right? The doom and gloom is over. The economy is getting stronger, not weaker.

        • ALWAYSTOMORROW

Since I have you here I have a question for you.

Do you have an opinion as to whether things are heading to a cashless society in the US and if so give me your guess of a time frame.

          • Jazz

Yes the goal of negative interest policy being used in Japan and Europe is to create a digital monetary system. They will start by banning large bills, preventing cash withdrawals and making it difficult to use cash. I say it’s here in US within 2 years.

          • ALWAYSTOMORROW

So the 25 million in cash my uncle has in his freezer, what would your suggestion be for him to do with it.

        • Bill G Wilminton NC

The stock market is not the economy…..

          • Jazz

Economy getting stronger too. Banks and energy companies are rebounding.

          • Gay Veteran

            corporate boot licking idiot.

That’s beyond salt, it’s rubbing people’s noses in it…”

  • SunnyFlaSnotress

I bet you play with yourself on the internet most of the day.

Well I don’t see what the big deal is all about. We can just start making products by hand ourselves. Just like a for fathers did.

    here’s another interesting quote:
    think for yourself (Gerald Celente)

    • James Staten

If I am repeating myself, then I believe I am entitled, since you are usually a one-trick pony. First, I have listened to Mr Celente often, and I like him. I posted most of what I will say to you on today’s blog, but here’s my comment. I said this to the person from NJ today. We live in a Cemetery. Everything is dead or dying in this world, but God gives you a choice? Life’s Only Question: What will you do with that dead Jew who got up and walked out of that Tomb? Your eternal destiny depends on Him. He is Eternal Life. You can Believe that and live forever or you can reject that and live in Unbelief in this world and in a Christ-less eternity. My father use to say to me, Born once die twice or Born twice die once? The Second Death is a Spiritual separation from the Lord forever The Good News, 1st Corinthians 15:1-4 Hope this helps…I will pray for you!!!!

        religion exists for 2 reasons:
        (1) man fears death
        (2) as a means of social control (obey the kill or you go to he ll).

heck, I’ll throw in a third reason:
        (3) as a means for priests and preachers to gain money and power

        • James Staten

Death is a Curse in this life and the life to come without Christ!!!!

          • Gay Veteran

            like I said:

Who can honestly think Americans should give up guns now that the US has the Patriot Act, license plate readers, FBI facial and voice recognition, checkpoints, kill lists, FBAR, FATCA, Operation Chokepoint, TSA groping, civil forfeiture, NSA wiretapping, CIA torture, NDAA indefinite detention, secret FISA courts, FEMA camps, laws requiring passports for domestic travel, IRS laws denying passports for tax debts, the stockpiling of guns and ammo by the government, laws outlawing protesting, police militarization, the IRS Tea Party scandal, and Jade Helm?

Does anyone think everything is just fine?

  • Holger Jahndel
