Michael Snyder’s Campaign For Congress Has Just Received Two More Major Endorsements

There are less than 100 days to go until the primary on May 15th, and our campaign just continues to pick up more momentum.  We just received two more major endorsements, and more extraordinary people are joining the campaign with each passing day.  If you would like to join the team, you can find our volunteer page right here and our online donation page right here.  Earlier this evening we learned that we have officially been endorsed by Vote Team Trump, and we are extremely excited about that.  Those involved in the Trump movement all around the country are recognizing that this extremely close race here in Idaho is one of the most critical Republican primaries.  One of my main opponents has publicly stated that Donald Trump “can go straight to hell”, and if he wins this open seat it will be an absolute disaster for the Trump movement.

But we are not going to allow that to happen.  Our campaign is absolutely surging, and now we have the support of Vote Team Trump.  If you are not familiar with Vote Team Trump, here is a little bit about them from their official website

VoteTeamTrump.com is the official web site of the Vote Team Trump movement. We are not an organization, corporation, retailer, or reseller. We do not accept financial resources or assets from anyone in exchange for any product or service. We are not affiliated with any political party or action committee. We are a variegated grassroots movement that utilizes personal finances, assets, time, and talent to inform the People of Trumpian candidates. Our one common bond is the Trumpian platform: deregulation and downsizing of the federal government, legal immigration, an end to political terrorism, American economy first, American energy independence, preservation of American history and culture, states’ rights, and the American Constitution.

This endorsement from Vote Team Trump comes immediately after being endorsed by the largest Tea Party group on Facebook.  With nearly 100,000 members nationally, it is a very powerful force on Facebook, and we believe that they will be able to move a significant number of votes in our direction.

When Idaho State Senator Dan Foreman endorsed our campaign a few weeks ago on the steps of the Idaho state capitol, that was a major turning point.  Senator Foreman is one of the top conservative voices in the entire state, and since that time conservatives all over the state have begun coalescing around our campaign.

With just over three months to go until election day, this is the time for the final big push.  Over half of all voters are still completely undecided in this very tight race, and we need to reach them before the other candidates do.  There is so much that needs to be done in the coming weeks, and at this moment we do not have the resources to do it all.  We very much need your help right now, and so I am asking all of my core supporters to consider contributing at least 25 dollars to our campaign this month.

Another key turning point was the first candidate debate in Coeur d’Alene a couple of weeks ago.  We were widely acclaimed as the big winners of that debate, and a number of conservatives that were impressed with our performance during that debate have come on board as new volunteers.  If you have not seen our highlights from that debate yet, you can view them in high quality on YouTube right here.  We absolutely fried the other candidates, and for a couple of them this candidate forum was immensely damaging to their campaigns.

Tomorrow we hit the campaign trail yet again, and if you live in central Idaho I hope that you will make plans to join us.  On Sunday the 11th, I will be speaking with voters in Potlatch, Idaho at 2 PM at the Scenic 6 depot.

On this trip we will also be making stops in Lewiston and Grangeville, and later this month we will be making an extended visit down to south Idaho.

If you believe in what we are trying to do, this is your opportunity to be involved in a major congressional campaign.  We need as many volunteers as possible, we desperately need more donors to step forward from all over the country, we need more help sharing the material on our official Facebook campaign page, and more than anything we need our prayer warriors to be interceding for us.

If every one of my regular readers were to donate 25 dollars today, we could literally stop raising money tomorrow and focus all of our energy on campaigning for the next 90 days.  With Donald Trump in the White House, this is our opportunity to take our government back.  For those of you that are not familiar with our campaign yet, the following are 28 key things that I stand for…

#1 A Pro-Trump Conservative – Donald Trump helped restore my faith in America by winning the 2016 election, and I will fight like mad to implement his agenda if I am elected to Congress.

#2 It’s Time To Drain The Swamp – The same rules that apply to the rest of us should also apply to Congress, and all federal officials should be banned from working as lobbyists for at least ten years after they leave government service.

#3 Restoring The Rule Of Law – For decades, the American people have watched professional politicians commit crime after crime and get away with it. It is time to restore the rule of law in this country, and a great place to begin would be with Hillary Clinton and her close associates. It will be a great day for America when they are finally put in prison for the rest of their lives.

#4 Every RINO Must Go – Way too many Republicans have been fighting Trump’s agenda and acting like Democrats. It is time to hold them accountable, and that means every ‘Republican in name only’ needs to go.

#5 Getting The Money Out Of Politics – As a new member of Congress, I would be expected to raise approximately $200,000 for the National Republican Congressional Committee. In order to “pay their dues”, every day that the House is in session members of Congress go to call centers across from the U.S. Capitol and spend up to four hours a day making calls back to their districts begging people to donate money. One of the things that makes me fundamentally different from my opponents is that I have pledged not to make these calls. Instead, I am going to spend my time in Washington doing the work that the people of Idaho sent me there to do.

#6 100% Pro-Life – No money for Planned Parenthood ever. Nearly 60 million babies have been murdered since 1973, and I am making an unbreakable pledge to vote against any bill that funds Planned Parenthood 100% of the time.

#7 100% Pro-Gun – The Constitution says that the right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Let me be very clear – I will never back down from defending the Second Amendment even a single inch. You have a constitutional right to own any gun that you want, and you have a constitutional right to carry that gun anywhere that you want.

#8 Abolish The IRS & The Income Tax – We didn’t have an income tax from 1872 to 1913, and that was the greatest period of economic growth in U.S. history. As we fight a long-term battle to abolish the income tax, in the short-term we can at least go to a flat tax or a fair tax, both of which would be far superior to what we have now.

#9 Abolish The Federal Reserve – Since the Fed was created in 1913, we have had 18 recessions, the value of the U.S. dollar has fallen by about 98 percent, and the U.S. national debt has gotten more than 6000 times larger. Abolishing this debt-based system is one of the keys to a bright economic future for America.

#10 Cut Red Tape – As President Trump has proposed, two existing government regulations should be eliminated for every new regulation that is enacted.

#11 Getting Federal Bureaucrats Off Our Backs – I will work very hard to get federal control freaks off of the backs of our farmers, our loggers, our miners, our ranchers and our small business owners.

#12 Local Control Of Education – It is time to get the federal government out of the education business. I want to abolish Common Core and the Department of Education, and I want control over education to be as close to the local level as possible.

#13 Shut Down Big Brother Spying – Government agencies have been conducting unconstitutional surveillance of American citizens for decades, and that needs to stop now.

#14 True Limited Government – President Trump has proposed shutting down more than 60 different government programs and agencies. That would be a good start. Instead of asking which government agencies we should close, we should be asking which government agencies really need to remain open.

#15 100% Repeal Of Obamacare – Rapidly rising health insurance premiums are financially crippling Idaho families. Republicans in Congress have fumbled the ball, and we must repeal Obamacare immediately.

#16 Build The Wall – We need to make sure that everyone comes into this country through the front door. We must end illegal immigration, and so I support President Trump’s call to build a wall on the southern border.

#17 End Sanctuary Cities – President Trump has proposed cutting off all federal funding for so-called “sanctuary cities”, and I will fight very hard to get this done.

#18 Supporting Our Veterans – My father is a vet, and I will work passionately to make sure that our veterans receive the respect, care and support that they deserve.

#19 Fighting Islamic Terror – I fully support President Trump’s fight against ISIS, and I will push for legislation that would give local communities all over America the option to say no to refugees from terrorist hotbeds.

#20 Stopping Reckless Government Spending – We are 20 trillion dollars in debt and we continue to steal more than 100 million dollars from future generations every single hour of every single day.

#21 Bringing Jobs Back To America – The U.S. has lost more than 70,000 factories since China joined the WTO in 2001. Our formerly great manufacturing cities now look like war zones, and we desperately need to start making things in this country once again.

#22 Energy Independence – The United States has abundant reserves of oil, natural gas and clean coal, and we need to take the regulatory shackles off of the energy industry so that we can start moving toward energy independence.

#23 Resisting The Globalists – We must reduce the power and influence of the United Nations, and we must strongly fight all attempts by the globalists to erode American sovereignty.

#24 Supporting States Rights – It is almost as if the 10th Amendment doesn’t even exist today. If I am elected, this is what his message to the feds will be: ‘Hand over the keys and get out of Idaho’.

#25 Health Freedom – I believe that the government should be encouraging natural health remedies instead of discouraging them, I believe that parents should always make the health decisions for their own children, and I believe that we desperately need to clean up our air, our water and our food.

#26 Removing The Wolves – Under Bill Clinton, Canadian gray wolves were brought to Idaho. These wolves travel in packs and are killing machines. I am 100% committed to removing these wolves from our state.

#27 Holding Judges Accountable – Federal judges that disregard the U.S. Constitution and that choose to legislate from the bench should be subject to impeachment.

#28 An Unashamed Christian – Like President Trump, I am not ashamed to say that I am a Bible-believing Christian, and if we truly want to make America great again we need to return to the values and principles that this nation was founded upon.

In the vast majority of the races for the House and the Senate around the country, we already know who is going to win.

Our race is one of the very few races that is completely undecided, and if we all pull together we can win this thing.

Please help us if you can.  Our numbers are surging, and to continue that surge we need to get our message to the more than 400,000 registered voters in this district within the next three months.  We have a very clear path to victory, but we must raise the resources that we need in order to execute our gameplan.

I would like to thank everyone that has already joined our team.  Because of you, we have already shaken the world of Idaho politics to the core.  If we ultimately pull out this victory, it will be the biggest shock in the history of Idaho politics, but it won’t be a surprise to us.

The Trump movement is all about winning, and we are going to win races all over the nation in 2018.

10 Amazing Facts About America’s Economic Recovery From Trump’s State Of The Union Address

If the U.S. economy continues to surge under President Trump, I may need to change the name of my website.  In December 2009 I started “The Economic Collapse”, and it was quite an appropriate title at the time.  In fact, the 10 years immediately preceding the Trump presidency was one of the worst stretches for the U.S. economy in our entire history.  But now things are changing.  Manufacturers are coming back to America, unemployment is falling, and the stock market has been soaring.

During his State of the Union address, President Trump called this “our new American moment”, and at this time it is hard for anyone to disagree with him.  Things are definitely better for ordinary Americans than they were under previous administrations, and even some of Trump’s most hardcore critics are starting to come around.

The Democrats were hoping to use Trump’s speech to launch a new wave of attacks against him, but that massively backfired.  The State of the Union address may have been Trump’s best performance to date, and even a CBS News poll found that his speech got an astounding 75 percent approval rating.

No matter how Democrats try to spin things, the truth is that there is a lot of good economic news right now.  The following are 10 amazing facts about America’s economic recovery that come directly from the transcript of Trump’s State of the Union address

#1 “Since the election, we have created 2.4 million new jobs, including 200,000 new jobs in manufacturing alone.”

#2 “After years of wage stagnation, we are finally seeing rising wages.”

#3 “Unemployment claims have hit a 45-year low.”

#4 “African-American unemployment stands at the lowest rate ever recorded”

#5 “Hispanic American unemployment has also reached the lowest levels in history”

#6 “Small business confidence is at an all-time high.”

#7 “The stock market has smashed one record after another, gaining $8 trillion in value.”

#8 “And just as I promised the American people from this podium 11 months ago, we enacted the biggest tax cuts and reforms in American history.”

#9 “A typical family of four making $75,000 will see their tax bill reduced by $2,000 — slashing their tax bill in half.”

#10 “We slashed the business tax rate from 35 percent all the way down to 21 percent, so American companies can compete and win against anyone in the world.”

And today we received even more good news.

According to CNBC, U.S. businesses added another 234,000 jobs during the month of January…

The new year got off to a strong start for job creation, with businesses adding 234,000 in January, according to a report Wednesday from ADP and Moody’s Analytics.

Economists surveyed by Reuters had been looking for private payrolls to grow by 185,000.

Are you starting to understand why I am so proud to be a pro-Trump candidate for Congress?

Many of my opponents are doing their best to distance themselves from Trump.  In fact, one of my biggest opponents has said that Donald Trump “can go straight to hell”.  It is absolutely imperative that we fill this open seat in Congress with someone that is 100% pro-Trump, and if you want to see that happen I hope that you will join our team.

Many Republicans opposed Ronald Reagan during his early days in the White House too, but eventually everyone in the party came around, and that is happening with Trump too.

For example, just check out what former opponent Ted Cruz had to say about Trump’s speech

“The president did an incredible job highlighting the parents of those who have lost their children to MS-13 and violent illegal aliens,” Cruz said. “Highlighting heroes, whether police officers and coastguardsmen or first responders across the country. And the president did a tremendous job overall focusing on jobs, on wages going up, on the historic tax cut.”

“I thought it was a very, very strong speech and a strong night for the president,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Democrats are being as bitter as ever.

Every time the camera flashed to Nancy Pelosi or any of the other top Democrats they looked like they were horribly constipated.  And one top Democrat actually couldn’t make it through the entire thing.  At one point Republican lawmakers began chanting “USA”, and that was way too much for Luis Gutierrez to handle…

Luis Gutierrez, the illegal alien-loving congressman from Illinois, appeared to be triggered during President Trump’s soaring rhetoric during the State of the Union address and fled the House chamber.

Trump praised the Capitol building, calling it a monument to the American people.

As applause broke out, so did chants of “USA! USA! USA!”

Gutierrez left his seat as several Democrats patted him on the arm as he retreated to a safe space.

And after the speech was over, the radical left was criticizing Trump for some of the most ridiculous things imaginable.

For instance, the ACLU complained that Trump used the word “America” more than 80 times in his speech.

And check out what Joy Reid of MSNBC posted on Twitter

Church … family … police … military … the national anthem … Trump trying to call on all the tropes of 1950s-era nationalism. The goal of this speech appears to be to force the normalization of Trump on the terms of the bygone era his supporters are nostalgic for.

Are you kidding me?

Faith, family and freedom have never gone out of style, and the Trump movement is helping to restore pride in our country all across America.

This is our opportunity to take our nation back from radical leftists such as Nancy Pelosi, Joy Reid and the ACLU.  The 2018 mid-term elections are going to be the most important mid-term elections in modern American history, and if you believe in what Donald Trump is trying to do, I hope that you will stand with us.

President Trump Is Right: Huma Abedin, Crooked Hillary And James Comey All Belong In Prison

If you mishandle classified documents, you go to prison.  That is how the law is written, and that is how the law is supposed to work.  But up until now top members of the Democratic Party have been immune from prosecution for mishandling classified documents even though evidence that they are guilty is publicly available for everyone to see.  On Friday, we learned that there were classified documents among the 2,800 work-related emails on Anthony Weiner’s laptop.  Huma Abedin regularly forwarded documents to her husband’s laptop, and every time she sent a classified document to his laptop it was a violation of federal law.

On Tuesday, President Trump got on Twitter and expressed his desire to see Huma Abedin sent to prison

Crooked Hillary Clinton’s top aid, Huma Abedin, has been accused of disregarding basic security protocols. She put Classified Passwords into the hands of foreign agents. Remember sailors pictures on submarine? Jail! Deep State Justice Dept must finally act? Also on Comey & others

President Trump is exactly correct.  Nobody is supposed to be above the law, and Huma Abedin is clearly guilty.

If she isn’t prosecuted, then what is the point of even having any law to protect classified documents?

To say that Abedin was grossly negligent would be a severe understatement.  According to the Daily Caller, she was even using her personal Yahoo email account to transmit “passwords to government systems”…

Huma Abedin forwarded sensitive State Department emails, including passwords to government systems, to her personal Yahoo email account before every single Yahoo account was hacked, a Daily Caller News Foundation analysis of emails released as part of a lawsuit brought by Judicial Watch shows.

Abedin, the top aide to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, used her insecure personal email provider to conduct sensitive work. This guarantees that an account with high-level correspondence in Clinton’s State Department was impacted by one or more of a series of breaches — at least one of which was perpetrated by a “state-sponsored actor.”

This is what Trump was talking about when he accused Abedin of putting classified passwords “into the hands of foreign agents”.  There is no telling how much damage was done because of Abedin’s carelessness, and she must be held accountable.

Another part of Trump’s tweet that many of you may not get was his reference to “sailors pictures on submarine”.  Trump was referring to a former member of the U.S. Navy named Kristian Saucier that was found guilty of mishandling classified information.  The following comes from Business Insider

Trump’s reference to “sailors pictures on submarine” is most likely about the case of Kristian Saucier, who was a machinist’s mate aboard the Los Angeles-class nuclear attack submarine USS Alexandria from September 2007 to March 2012.

In July 2015, Saucier was charged with taking photos of classified spaces, instruments, and equipment inside the USS Alexandria on at least three occasions in 2009.

Court papers also said Saucier attempted to destroy his laptop, camera, and camera memory card after he was interviewed by the FBI and the Naval Criminal Investigative Service in July 2012.

Saucier ended up spending a year in prison for what he did.

So why shouldn’t Abedin suffer the same fate?

Well, you can thank James Comey for the fact that Abedin has gotten off the hook so far.  According to Comey, Abedin did not understand that “what she was doing was in violation of the law”

Comey said the FBI completed the investigation into Abedin and couldn’t prove there was any criminal intent, which is required in order to classify something as a criminal act in this situation.

“We didn’t have any indication she had a sense what she was doing was in violation of the law,” Comey said.

This makes me so mad I want to scream.

As I discussed yesterday, intent does not matter in these types of cases at all.  In order to get Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin out of trouble, Comey essentially rewrote the law.  The following comes from the National Review

In essence, in order to give Mrs. Clinton a pass, the FBI rewrote the statute, inserting an intent element that Congress did not require. The added intent element, moreover, makes no sense: The point of having a statute that criminalizes gross negligence is to underscore that government officials have a special obligation to safeguard national defense secrets; when they fail to carry out that obligation due to gross negligence, they are guilty of serious wrongdoing. The lack of intent to harm our country is irrelevant. People never intend the bad things that happen due to gross negligence.

Ultimately, my hope is that Comey goes to prison along with Hillary Clinton and Huma Abedin.

He was caught red-handed lying under oath, and according to Sean Hannity he could also potentially be guilty of obstruction of justice…

Fox legal analyst Greg Jarrett told Hannity that agent Peter Strzok, who had sent and received some of the anti-Trump texts, Comey “and others” may be guilty of obstructing justice if it were proven that they wanted to clear Clinton of wrongdoing for political reasons.

“Meaning, if the fix was in, Greg, Comey should go to jail,” Hannity said.

As for Hillary Clinton, there are a whole host of crimes that she needs to be prosecuted for, and I went over several of these in the article that I posted yesterday entitled “Why Hillary Clinton Needs To Go To Prison In 2018”.

If I win my race here in Idaho, I am going to go to Washington and push as hard as I can to bring Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Huma Abedin, James Comey and John Podesta to justice.  And as we peel back the onion, there could potentially be dozens (or even hundreds) of individuals associated with the Clintons that could end up in prison.

Either this nation is going to be governed by the rule of law or it isn’t.

If we are just going to ignore all of the very serious crimes that Hillary Clinton has committed, then the same rules should apply to everyone else as well.  We’ll just have a society where nobody ever goes to prison, and we will see how well that works out.

It is time to restore the rule of law in the United States, and I greatly applaud President Trump for speaking the truth.  We are in a battle for the heart and soul of America, and it is a battle that we cannot afford to lose.

44 Numbers From 2017 That Are Almost Too Crazy To Believe

2017 went by way too quickly.  Donald Trump’s first year in the White House shook up the entire planet, and nobody is quite sure what is going to happen next.  Personally, as 2017 began I was still having a hard time actually believing that Trump was going to be our president.  Once he was finally inaugurated on January 20th I was able to relax a little bit, but at that point I had no idea that I would soon be running for Congress here in Idaho as a pro-Trump candidate.  As 2018 begins, I think that it would be good to look back and remember some of the most important things that happened over the past 12 months.  The following are 44 numbers from 2017 that are almost too crazy to believe…

#1 During Donald Trump’s first year, ISIS lost 98 percent of the territory that it gained while Barack Obama was in the White House.

#2 The price of Bitcoin rose more than 1,300% during 2017.

#3 According to the Washington Post, one out of every ten young adults in the United States has been homeless at some point over the past year.

#4 The United States has lost more than 70,000 manufacturing facilities since China joined the WTO in 2001.

#5 On Donald Trump’s first full day in office he was 70 years, 7 months and 7 days old, and it happened in year 5777 on the Hebrew calendar.

#6 The all-time record for the number of retail store closings in the U.S. was absolutely shattered in 2017.  According to the latest figures, a total of 6,985 store locations were shut down last year, and we are expected to break the record again in 2018.

#7 Incredibly, the number of retail store closings in 2017 was up 229 percent compared with 2016.

#8 When Ronald Reagan entered the White House, the federal government was about one trillion dollars in debt.  Now we are 20 trillion dollars in debt with no end in sight.

#9 Prominent names in the financial world such as John McAfee and James Altucher are predicting that the price of Bitcoin will eventually reach one million dollars.

#10 According to the most recent numbers that we have, 41 million Americans are currently living in poverty.

#11 A recent CNN poll found that only 37 percent of Americans have a favorable view of the Democratic Party.

#12 Ever since the beginning of April, Congress has had an average approval rating of less than 20 percent.

#13 The Dow Jones Industrial Average was up more than 5,000 points in 2017, and that absolutely shattered the previous record of 3,472 points in 2013.

#14 At one point in 2017, the total market cap for all cryptocurrencies combined (Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple, Litecoin, etc.) surpassed the half a trillion dollar mark.

#15 Wildfires burned an astounding 9,791,062 acres over the past year.

#16 It is being reported that less than 50 percent of all third, fourth and fifth grade students in the state of California meet minimum standards for literacy.

#17 At one very poorly performing elementary school in California, 96 percent of the students are not proficient in either English or math.

#18 Back in 1960, an average of $146 was spent on healthcare per person for the entire year, but today that number has skyrocketed to $9,990.

#19 Thanks to Obamacare, an appendectomy is ten times more expensive in the United States than it is in Mexico.

#20 Thanks to Obamacare, a family of four in Virginia is now facing the prospect of paying $3,000 a month for health insurance.

#21 It is being projected that the average rate increase for Obamacare plans will be 37 percent in 2018.

#22 In 2017, we found out that 264 cases of sexual harassment involving members of Congress have been settled for a grand total of $17,250,854 since the start of 1997.

#23 Economic growth is starting to pick up under President Trump, but the U.S. economy only grew at an average rate of just 1.33 percent over the 10 years prior to 2017.

#24 It is being reported that homelessness has become so pervasive in ultra-liberal Seattle that “400 unauthorized tent camps” have popped up around the city.

#25 One survey that was conducted in 2017 discovered that 78 percent of all full-time workers in the United States live paycheck to paycheck at least part of the time.

#26 According to the Federal Reserve, the average U.S. household is now $137,063 in debt, and that figure is more than double the median household income.

#27 A staggering 59.8 percent of younger Millennials (18 to 25) are now living with relatives, and overall an all-time record 38.4 percent of all Millennials are currently living with family.

#28 Boston University professor Larry Kotlikoff says that the federal government is facing a fiscal gap of 210 trillion dollars over the next 75 years.

#29 According the National Center For Health Statistics, nearly 40 percent of all U.S. adults are now officially obese. That is an all-time record.

#30 Our obesity epidemic is now costing us 190 billion dollars a year.

#31 Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos of Amazon.com, and Warren Buffett now have more money than the poorest 50 percent of the U.S. population combined.

#32 At this point, 20 percent of all U.S. households have “either zero or negative wealth”.

#33 U.S. stocks have have increased in value by more than 5 trillion dollars since Donald Trump was elected.

#34 For the season, NFL television ratings were down about 9 percent, and many believe that the anthem protests were the primary cause for the ratings decline.

#35 One very disturbing survey found that less than one out of every four Republican members of Congress support building Trump’s border wall.  This is just one reason why we need to vote out the RINOs and replace them with pro-Trump candidates that will support President Trump’s agenda.

#36 Another survey discovered that 50 percent of all Americans favor a pre-emptive strike on North Korea even though many of them cannot even find North Korea on a map of the world.

#37 Last year criminals were able to hack into Equifax and make off with the credit information of 143 million Americans.

#38 Venezuela, the 11th largest oil producing country in the entire world, decided to stop using the petrodollar in 2017.  This was one of the biggest news stories of the entire year, and yet the mainstream media in the U.S. didn’t want to talk about it.

#39 It has been reported that only 25 percent of all Americans have more than $10,000 in savings right now.

#40 A study conducted by the Federal Reserve found that 44 percent of all U.S. adults do not even have enough money “to cover an unexpected $400 expense”.

#41 In the early 1970s, 70 percent of all men in the United States from the age of 20 to the age of 39 were married, but today that number has fallen to just 35 percent. Instead of getting married and starting families, a lot of our young men are still living at home with their parents. Today, 35 percent of all young men from the age of 21 to the age of 30 “are living at home with their parents or a close relative”.

#42 In 2017, the federal government spent more than 4 trillion dollars for the first time ever.

#43 Our government continues to waste money in some of the most insane ways imaginable. For example, in 2017 we learned that the U.S. military actually spends 42 million dollars a year on Viagra.

#44 One survey discovered that 40 percent of all Americans now “prefer socialism to capitalism”, and so we have much work to do if we intend to have any chance of turning this country around.

Deep State Takedown In Progress: Is Trump About To Start Arresting Top Democrats And Bringing Them To Justice?

When Donald Trump gets hit, he always hits back even harder.  So when the deep state decided to conduct a legal witch hunt against President Trump and his family, they should have expected that Trump would return the favor.  In recent days, there have been all sorts of rumblings about sealed indictments, pending arrests and a “deep state takedown”.  Many believe that we are on the verge of seeing some of the most prominent Democrats in the entire nation being arrested and thrown in prison.  We shall see how all of this plays out, but in this article I am going to focus on the things that have been confirmed so far.

First of all, let’s talk about the documents that are going to be released on Friday.  According to Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton, the State Department is scheduled to release 2,800 government documents which were found on Anthony Weiner’s laptop…

.@StateDept will publish releasable portions of 2800 government docs that @FBI found on Anthony Weiner laptop tomorrow (Dec. 29th). Again, thanks to @JudicialWatch lawsuits. Will @RealDonaldTrump DOJ finally take action on Clinton/Abedin misdeeds?

Remember, this is just a portion of the documents that were found on his laptop, and the really juicy stuff is almost certainly not going to be found in these government docs.

There are persistent rumors that the really juicy stuff on his laptop contains evidence of sexual misconduct by top Democrats that would far surpass anything that has come out about members of Congress so far.  We are potentially talking about the type of stuff that could send people to prison for life, and we need to keep demanding for that material to be released to the public as soon as possible.  I understand that there are ongoing investigations that cannot be compromised, but there is no excuse for things to drag on for this long.

But without a doubt, there could potentially be some gamechanging material in the docs that we will get to see tomorrow.  The following is what Judicial Watch previously had to say about these documents…

“This is a disturbing development. Our experience with Abedin’s emails suggest these Weiner laptop documents will include classified and other sensitive materials,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton. “When will the Justice Department do a serious investigation of Hillary Clinton’s and Huma Abedin’s obvious violations of law?”

Judicial Watch previously released 20 productions of documents in this case that show examples of mishandling of classified information and instances of pay to play between the Clinton State Department and the Clinton Foundation. Also, at least 627 emails were not part of the 55,000 pages of emails that Clinton turned over, and further contradict a statement by Clinton that, “as far as she knew,” all of her government emails had been turned over to department.

Based on just the evidence that we have so far, Hillary Clinton should clearly be going to prison, and let us hope that this latest development will move things in the right direction over at the Department of Justice.

Meanwhile, one of the other pieces of the puzzle that has been confirmed is a very curious executive order that was just issued by President Trump.  The following comes from Zero Hedge

The Trump Administration quietly issued an Executive Order (EO) last Thursday which allows for the freezing of US-housed assets belonging to foreign individuals or entities deemed “serious human rights abusers,” along with government officials and executives of foreign corporations (current or former) found to have engaged in corruption – which includes the misappropriation of state assets, the expropriation of private assets for personal gain, and corruption related to government contracts or the extraction of natural resources.

Furthermoreanyone in the United States who aids or participates in said corruption or human rights abuses by foreign parties is subject to frozen assets – along with any U.S. corporation who employs foreigners deemed to have engaged in corruption on behalf of the company.

Many believe that this executive order is directly related to ongoing investigations into corruption within the Democratic Party.

More specifically, the wording of this executive order definitely sounds like it could have been written with Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Tony Podesta and Uranium One in mind.  Here is more from Zero Hedge

Now consider that if reports from The Hill are accurate – an FBI mole deep within the Russian uranium industry uncovered evidence that “Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton’s charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow (the Uranium One approval)” – a deal which would eventually grant the Kremlin control over 20 percent of America’s uranium supply right around the time Bill Clinton also collected $500,000 for a Moscow speech, as detailed by author Peter Schweitzer’s book Clinton Cash and the New York Times in 2015.

A very dangerous game is being played behind the scenes, and I believe that Trump is going to come out the big winner in the end.

Many on the left had been anticipating that 2018 would be the year when Donald Trump is finally taken down, but they will be bitterly disappointed when some of their most cherished heroes end up in shackles instead.

If the elite had not gone after Trump so brutally earlier this year, perhaps he would have been willing to let some things slide.  But once Robert Mueller was appointed as special counsel and given an unlimited amount of time, money and resources to dig up dirt on Trump, it was inevitable that Trump would try to find a way to strike back even harder.

We have never seen anything quite like this in the history of American politics, and I have a feeling that 2018 is going to be one of the most “interesting” years ever.

Michael Snyder is a Republican candidate for Congress in Idaho’s First Congressional District, and you can learn how you can get involved in the campaign on his official website. His new book entitled “Living A Life That Really Matters” is available in paperback and for the Kindle on Amazon.com.

Michael Snyder And Other Pro-Trump Candidates For Congress Are Freaking The Establishment Out

Literally dozens of pro-Trump candidates are running for seats in Congress in 2018, and the establishment is really starting to freak out about this.  If having Trump in the White House was a nightmare for them, how are they going to respond once his allies start taking control of Capitol Hill?  For a very long time I have been saying that the 2018 mid-term elections are going to be the most important in modern American history.  They will inevitably be a referendum on Trump and his policies, and I believe that the American people will support Trump wholeheartedly.

Personally, I am running as a pro-Trump candidate in Idaho’s first congressional district.  Trump supporters have been flocking to my campaign, and it is absolutely amazing how much momentum we have built up over the past few months.

At first my opponents were very polite to me because they didn’t see me as a threat.  But then they started seeing numbers that showed how well I was doing, and now the claws are coming out.

It is funny how the attacks against me and other pro-Trump candidates around the nation sound almost exactly like the attacks that are constantly being hurled at Trump himself.  But like Trump, we are refusing to be intimidated and we are keeping our eye on the ball.  Our campaign website is getting the most visits of any of the candidates, our Facebook page has the most likes, and we won the most recent online poll by a very wide margin.  We need your help to keep the momentum going, because the establishment is likely to continue to hammer me with attacks up until election day.

Other pro-Trump candidates are getting a lot of heat as well.  One of the candidates that I really like is Tom Campbell of North Dakota

In his ads and in this latest interview, Campbell has made it clear that he’s aligning himself with President Donald Trump, citing Trump’s popularity with North Dakotans. He also credits a roaring stock market and low unemployment to the president’s influence, although those are trends that arguably began during Barack Obama’s presidency.

Campbell wants to repeal the Affordable Care Act (months after such an effort by GOP lawmakers failed) and is keeping a “close eye” on where Trump lands on the North American Free Trade Agreement.

But since Campbell has aligned himself so closely with Trump, he is even getting attacked by members of his own party.  In fact, state representative Roscoe Streyle (a Republican) recently said that he does not believe that Campbell has any chance of beating incumbent Heidi Heitkamp (a Democrat)…

He faces an uphill battle, not only against Heitkamp but against his own party here. At least one of his own party in the state thinks Campbell is wasting his time.

“I don’t think Tom Campbell can beat Heidi in any way, shape or form,” state Rep. Roscoe Streyle, R-Minot, said in this weekend’s report. “I just don’t think he has what it takes, from a raising money standpoint, to being able to debate her, to a record that would show he’s done anything in the Legislature.”

If that is what members of his own party are saying about Campbell, what are the Democrats going to throw at him?

Another pro-Trump candidate that is getting relentlessly attacked is Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee.  One of the things that is great about her is that she is “politically incorrect and proud of it”

Calling the place she wants to work “totally dysfunctional” and “enough to drive you nuts,” Blackburn touts that she is a “hard core, card-carrying Tennessee conservative. I’m politically incorrect and proud of it.”

“So, let me just say it like it is: The fact that our Republican majority in the U.S. Senate can’t overturn Obamacare, or will not overturn Obamacare — it’s a disgrace,” the eight-term congresswoman continues. “Too many Senate Republicans act like Democrats — or worse. And that’s what we have to change.”

She is a very solid pro-Trump conservative, and there is nothing about her that should upset anyone.  The following summary of what she stands for comes from her official website

  • Continue to fight to repeal Obamacare.
  • Fight to protect the unborn. Marsha is 100% pro-life.
  • Fight to protect our Second Amendment rights. Marsha is a gun owner with a concealed carry permit for the Lady Smith she packs in her purse.
  • Fight to cut wasteful spending. Marsha believes our government takes too much and spends too much.
  • Fight to bring significant tax relief to hard-working Tennesseans.
  • Support President Trump’s immigration ban and work with him to build the wall.

All of that sounds good to me, but her opponents are calling her a “wing nut” and a “knuckle-dragging conservative”

“I know the left calls me a wing nut, or a knuckle-dragging conservative. And you know what? I say that’s all right, bring it on,” Blackburn says.

In 2018, we need to stand with pro-Trump candidates for Congress such as Campbell and Blackburn.  And you can find a list of close to 30 such candidates on Facebook right here.

In addition, if you would like to learn more about my pro-Trump campaign for Congress, please visit MichaelSnyderForCongress.com.  We are trying to take our government back, and 2018 can be a major step in the right direction.  But we have all got to work together, because the attacks against us are going to be quite fierce.

The Left Is Trying To Use The #MeToo Movement As A Weapon To Destroy Donald Trump

The left is willing to use any means necessary to get rid of Donald Trump, and so it should be no surprise that they are now using the #metoo movement as a weapon in their crusade against him.  Personally, I have been a big fan of the #metoo movement, and I have been thrilled to see so many sexual predators exposed in recent months.  I applauded the exposure of Hollywood giants such as Harvey Weinstein and Kevin Spacey, and I believe that the resignations of Al Franken and John Conyers will be followed by many others as the truth about what has been happening on Capitol Hill continues to come out.

But we need to be very careful, because this kind of a thing can become a feeding frenzy, and in this type of environment it can be way too easy for false accusers to seem like they are telling the truth.

Every claim of sexual misconduct should be taken extremely seriously, and we should also never jump to conclusions.  A single false allegation can permanently ruin someone’s life, and those that are wealthy or famous are easy targets.

On Monday, Megyn Kelly interviewed three women that had formerly made allegations against President Trump.  The following comes from CNN

On Monday morning, a trio of women — Rachel Crooks, Samantha Holvey and Jessica Leeds — went on Megyn Kelly’s NBC show to reiterate allegations of sexual misconduct against President Donald Trump that they first aired during the 2016 presidential campaign.

“We’re private citizens and for us to put ourselves out there to try to show America who this man is and especially how he views women and for them to say, we don’t care … it hurt,” Holvey told Kelly about how the allegations against Trump were handled during the 2016 campaign. “It’s just like, all right, let’s try round two. The environment’s different. Let’s try again.”

Millions of Americans are going to assume that since three women are all making allegations against Trump that they must be true.

But we already knew that the story that Jessica Leeds is telling is not accurate.  It turns out that there is an eyewitness that was sitting directly across the aisle from Leeds and Trump on the plane ride where the misconduct allegedly took place, and he says that it never happened.

The eyewitness is a British man named Anthony Gilberthorpe, and according to People magazine, he says that Trump didn’t do any of the things that Leeds is claiming…

“I have only met this accuser once and frankly cannot imagine why she is seeking to make out that Trump made sexual advances on her. Not only did he not do so (and I was present at all times) but it was she that was the one being flirtatious,”claimed Gilberthorpe, who is British.

And during an extended interview with Breitbart, Gilberthorpe gave an account of the flight from beginning to end…

“It was back in the days. I’d only visited America one time previous to that. I’m not familiar, as I’m sure with respect to a lot of American listeners tonight wouldn’t be familiar with a lot of our British businessmen,” he explained. “But he was nice. We were talking, we were laughing, he was reading, I was reading, et cetera. She came on, and she hogged the limelight. She wanted to talk to him in a most animated, exaggerated way. About 45 minutes after she had taken her seat and we had taken off, he went to use the toilet.”

Gilberthorpe said that during Trump’s absence, Leeds told him who his fellow passenger was, excitedly explaining that he was “one of the richest men in the world.”

“And her quote, not mine: ‘Oh, I can’t believe that I’m sitting next to him. I can’t believe it! This is the man I want to marry!’ Okay, it was all said in jest and joke, but she was so excited about having the chance, the opportunity, of sitting next to this man. I attempted to talk over to Trump, but she wasn’t really having much of it. I was talking to her, to him, for the remaining two-and-a-half hours of the journey. We landed in New York. Having landed, he politely said, ‘Goodbye,’ shook my hand, and shook hers. He didn’t kiss her, didn’t kiss her. And she and I left the plane together. She and I exchanged kisses. I went for my luggage. She did not go for her luggage. That’s another marker I’m putting down tonight,” he said.

After examining the evidence, I have come to the conclusion that Leeds is simply lying.  And that is a horrible thing to do, because she is discrediting the entire #metoo movement.

But the fact that Leeds is not telling the truth is not stopping Democratic lawmakers from using these allegations to hammer President Trump.  In fact, on Monday Senator Kirsten Gillibrand called for Trump to resign.

But that isn’t going to happen, and the White House is fighting back hard against these false allegations

The White House released a fresh statement early Monday decrying the “false” claims of the women at the press conference.

“These false claims, totally disputed in most cases by eyewitness accounts, were addressed at length during last year’s campaign, and the American people voiced their judgment by delivering a decisive victory,” a White House spokesperson said in a statement. “The timing and absurdity of these false claims speaks volumes and the publicity tour that has begun only further confirms the political motives behind them.”

It is funny how the mainstream media never even wanted to address the very serious allegations of sexual misconduct against Bill and Hillary Clinton that kept arising, and yet anyone with any sort of a claim against Trump gets front page coverage.

Once again, every single allegation of sexual misconduct needs to be taken extremely seriously, and when there is a contested claim it is absolutely imperative that we take the time to figure out who is telling the truth and who is lying.

In our legal system, everyone is innocent until proven guilty, and we should apply the same approach in the court of public opinion as well.

Donald Trump’s Recognition Of Jerusalem As The Capital Of Israel Will Shake The Middle East To The Core

This is one of the most historic things to happen in the Middle East in decades.  Just a few days ago I reported that Donald Trump would recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel “in December”, and now we are being told that Trump will make this announcement at 1 PM eastern time on Wednesday.  Administration officials are stressing that this move is a “recognition of reality”, because of course the seat of the Israeli government has been in the holy city for a very long time.  But without a doubt this announcement will shake the Middle East to the core, because Israel’s neighbors are extremely displeased that Trump is doing this.

According to the Jerusalem Post, President Trump phoned leaders all over the Middle East on Tuesday to inform them about what would happen on Wednesday…

US President Donald Trump called the leaders of Israel, the Palestinian Authority, Jordan and Egypt on Tuesday to inform them of his intention to move the US Embassy in Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, 22 years after the US Congress called on the White House to do just that.

What Trump didn’t say, however, was when the move would take place, something that could provide some maneuvering room for him to try to tamp down Arab anger over the highly contentious step.

The recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel will be immediate, but the U.S. embassy will probably not be moved for six months.  The following comes from CNN

The President is expected to make a public announcement Wednesday declaring his decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and his intent to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv, diplomatic officials and a person familiar with the plans tell CNN. Trump is also expected to sign a waiver delaying the embassy move for six months, citing the logistical challenges of moving US personnel.

By not moving the embassy immediately, administration officials are hoping that this will pacify Israel’s neighbors a little bit.

Unfortunately, that may not work.  One prominent Arab leader has already stated that he believes that Trump is “a pyromaniac who could set the entire region on fire with his madness”, and the Saudis are calling this “a flagrant provocation of Muslims”

In Riyadh, the Saudi Press Agency said that King Salman bin Abdul Aziz had received a call from Trump, as well, and that the two discussed the potential moves. Using the Arabic name for Jerusalem, the king “reiterated that such a dangerous step of relocation or recognition of Al-Quds as the capital of Israel would constitute a flagrant provocation of Muslims, all over the world,” the agency said.

Once Trump’s announcement is made, all eyes will be on the Palestinians, and Palestinian leaders have already planned for protests to begin on Wednesday

The Palestinian factions said protests will start on Wednesday and last until Friday at the very least. According to Palestinian leaders, marches against the decision are being backed by the Palestinian Authority.

Fatah Central Committee member Jamal Mahisan told Haaretz that Trump’s decision was an inflammatory material that will inspire Palestinians to take to the streets in rage. “The Palestinian people know how to protect their rights and we are in consultations regarding [our moves] in the coming days.”

The three days stretching from Wednesday to Friday are being called “three days of rage”, and it is very likely that we will see widespread violence.  The following comes from the Jerusalem Post

In a joint statement, the Palestinian “national and Islamic forces” announced three days of rage that would begin Wednesday and end on Friday. “We call on all our people in Israel and around the world to gather in city centers and Israeli embassies and consulates, with the aim of bringing about general popular anger,” the statement said.

The statement added that “a huge protest should be launched in order to reject out of hand the attempts of the US administration to transfer the embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem or recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Israel. The right of the people and the nation to act in all legal and diplomatic ways within the international community, the international law in the Hague, in order to torpedo this attempt,” the statement said, calling for an emergency meeting of the leaders of the Islamic countries and the Jerusalem Committee to emphasize their rejection of the American moves in Jerusalem.

Some U.S. officials had urged Trump not to make this sort of a move, but it is the right thing to do.  U.S. policy should never be dictated by threats of violence, and I greatly applaud President Trump for refusing to be intimidated.

Hopefully things will not get too crazy over the next few days, but without a doubt U.S. facilities around the world will need to be on very high alert.  In fact, one anonymous State Department official is concerned that U.S. embassies all over the globe could be targeted by violence

“The impending Jerusalem announcement has me very worried about the possibility of violent responses that could affect embassies,” one State Department official told Politico. “I hope I’m wrong.”

And according to CBS News, U.S. government officials are being ordered to stay away from the Old City and the West Bank for now…

U.S. government employees and their families are being banned by the U.S. from personal visits to Jerusalem’s Old City and the West Bank, including Bethlehem and Jericho, amid the potential for demonstrations. The demonstrations are being planned as President Trump indicated that he intends to move the U.S. embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. He’s also expected to announce that the U.S. will recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, a move that’s inflaming Arab sentiment against the U.S.

It takes a lot of courage to do the right thing even though you know that the other side may resort to violence.

Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel is going to tremendously shake the entire Middle East, and nobody is quite sure what will happen next.

Let us pray that peace will prevail, but even if it doesn’t, Donald Trump has made the right choice and for that he should be greatly commended.

It Is Being Reported That Donald Trump May Recognize Jerusalem As The Capital Of Israel In December

Is President Trump about to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel?   If so, this would be one of the most historic events to happen in the Middle East in a very long time.  Needless to say, the government of Israel would be absolutely thrilled by such a move, while the Palestinians and Israel’s neighbors would not be pleased at all.  In fact, some Palestinians have suggested that if the Trump administration actually moves the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem that it could spark widespread violence or even war.

But Donald Trump promised that he would recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel during the campaign, and it looks like he intends to keep his word

A senior U.S. administration official said on Thursday that President Donald Trump is considering recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of the State of Israel without moving the embassy to the Israeli capital, at least for the time being.

Trump wants the recognition of Jerusalem to be a gift to Israel on the occasion of its 70th Independence Day, and he may even announce this recognition by means of a statement to be made by Vice President Mike Pence, who will visit Israel in December.

Pence will be visiting Israel next month, and he is scheduled to deliver an address to the Knesset.  If the Trump administration is going to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, it is believed that it may happen at that time.

Israel became a nation in 1948, and so 2018 will be Israel’s 70th anniversary.  There will be independence celebrations throughout the year, and recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital as we approach this highly significant time would be considered a great gift to the Jewish people.

For the moment, however, the Trump administration will not be moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem.  The White House recognizes that such a move could spark violence in the region, and so administration officials are treading carefully

President Donald Trump and his senior aides are mulling a plan to eventually move the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, a decision that could derail Trump’s attempts to restart peace talks between the Israelis and the Palestinians.

A leading option under consideration: temporarily keeping the U.S. embassy in Tel Aviv while also outlining a longer-term strategy to begin the process of moving the embassy to Jerusalem, according to two administration officials. The plan is meant to strike a middle ground on the politically treacherous issue.

We shall see how this plays out, but Vice-President Mike Pence sure sounds optimistic that moving the embassy will actually happen.  Earlier this week, he posted the following message on Twitter

While for the past 20 years, Congress and successive administrations have expressed a willingness to move our embassy, @POTUS Trump is actively considering when and how to move the American Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

Of course moving the embassy would have very serious ramifications, and without a doubt many those surrounding Trump are advising against such a move

American intelligence circles may caution Trump against the move, warning of the security-related ramifications that could ensue and danger that it could pose to American embassies around the world.

Rumors of Trump’s planned announcement were met with warnings from Jordan’s King Abdullah II, who said during a visit to the US that “the transfer of the American embassy to Jerusalem at this stage will have repercussions in the Palestinian, Arab and Islamic scene.”

I will be even more blunt.  If the U.S. embassy is moved to Jerusalem, there will definitely be violence, and it could potentially move us closer to armed conflict in the Middle East.

But U.S. policy should never be dictated by threats of violence.  Moving the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem is the right thing to do, and we cannot allow anyone to intimidate us.  In 1995, Congress passed a law that requires the U.S. embassy to be moved to Jerusalem, but ever since then presidents have used “waivers” to delay the move.

The current “waiver” expires on December 1st, and Trump is expected to sign another one at that time.

But even if the U.S. embassy is not moved to Jerusalem any time soon, the truth is that the next major war in the Middle East seems to be getting closer with each passing day.  Just check out some of the things that have happened over the past week…

-Saudi Arabia just intercepted another ballistic missile that was fired from Yemen.  The civil war in Yemen is essentially a proxy war between Saudi Arabia and Iran, and the Saudis hold the Iranians directly responsible whenever a missile is fired toward their territory.

-China has announced that they will be sending “elite troops” into Syria to fight alongside the Syrian army in the ongoing civil war that is raging there.

-Just a few days ago, the Pentagon acknowledged that there are approximately 2,000 U.S. troops currently in Syria working with forces that would like to overthrow the Syrian government.

The Middle East is a tinderbox that could literally erupt at any moment.  Most Americans have absolutely no idea how close we are to a major regional war, and let us pray that one does not happen any time soon.

Should Donald Trump Be Time Magazine’s Person Of The Year?

Should Donald Trump be named “Person of the Year” by Time Magazine just like he was last year?  This has become the biggest controversy in the mainstream media over the past couple of days, but there really shouldn’t be any controversy at all.  According to Time Magazine, the “Person of the Year” is supposed to be “a person (or people) who has had the most influence over the news in the last 12 months.”  If that standard is objectively applied, of course Donald Trump would win again, and I can’t think of anyone that would be even close.

And according to President Trump, it appears that Time Magazine was indeed at least considering him for Person of the Year again.  On Friday, Trump posted the following message on Twitter

Time Magazine called to say that I was PROBABLY going to be named “Man (Person) of the Year,” like last year, but I would have to agree to an interview and a major photo shoot. I said probably is no good and took a pass. Thanks anyway!

Subsequently, Time Magazine posted this response

The President is incorrect about how we choose Person of the Year. TIME does not comment on our choice until publication, which is December 6.

So is there still a possibility that Trump could be Person of the Year?

We’ll see.  My guess is that the decision had already been made prior to Trump’s tweet, and if Trump was the choice I think that it would be extremely difficult for Time to switch gears and feature someone else at the last minute.

And I certainly hope that Time Magazine does make Trump the Person of the Year for the second consecutive time, because he very much deserves it.  In fact, even CNN says that he deserves it…

Hey, let’s stop debating whether Time magazine formally offered this honor to Trump or not and get to the real issue. Time magazine executives, if you are reading this, Trump deserves to be “Person of the Year.” Hell, Trump should get person of the decade, maybe even the millennium. And I say that as someone who has been a very (very) vocal critic of Trump.

You see, Trump is doing something as president that we have not seen in the modern era — if ever. Most presidents seemingly work non-stop on the business of running the government. It’s an acutely intense and stressful job which no doubt explains why presidents age so dramatically in office. But Trump doesn’t just work at the business of government — he does so, so much more.

First, there’s Trump’s tweeting. On average, Trump tweets six to seven times a day. We are talking over 2,000 tweets since he has been sworn in! And with Twitter now expanding its character limit from 140 characters to 280, that means going forward Trump has double the workload.

You can read the rest of CNN’s snarky article right here.

Of course Trump is likely to be in the running for Person of the Year again in 2018 as well.  The 2018 mid-term elections will be all about Trump and his agenda, and that is why it is absolutely imperative that we rally around pro-Trump candidates for Congress.

Personally, I am running as the pro-Trump candidate in Idaho’s first congressional district, and if you are a Trump supporter I hope that you will be part of the team.

And I want to thank my regular readers for their patience.  This campaign has already required an immense amount of time, effort and energy, and I haven’t been able to do as much writing as I normally do.  We still have about six months more to go until election day, and I am going to work hard to keep posting regular articles, but without a doubt the campaign is going to demand more and more of my time.

This is going to be a very challenging time for my wife and I, and the number one thing that we need right now is prayer.  Please be praying for grace and strength, because we have so much on our plate at the moment.

In addition, if you would like to help support our work during this arduous time, one way you can do that is by purchasing copies of my latest book to give out as gifts.  “Living A Life That Really Matters” is the most powerful book that I have written, and even applying just a few of the principles that I teach about will dramatically change the course of your life.  The following is from the description of the book on Amazon.com

Deep inside all of us is a yearning to live a life that is filled with meaning and purpose. We all want to feel good about our lives, and we all want something to look forward to when we get out of bed in the morning. As little children we were filled with hopes and dreams for the future, but for so many of us those dreams have long since faded. Instead, many of us drag ourselves through life feeling down, depressed and defeated. In this book Michael Snyder is going to share with you what he has learned about living an overflowing life. We were designed to love, to laugh, to discover, to create and to live lives that are filled with passion. Unfortunately, so many of us have bought into lies that have enabled the enemy to steal all of that from us. No matter how bad things may seem right now, God can take the broken pieces of your life and turn them into a beautiful thing. But you have got to be willing to break your old patterns and start doing things that will produce good fruit in your life. This book will help you to do that.

I want to thank everyone that has supported my work over the years, and I can’t wait to see what happens next.  God has a plan for each one of us, and 2018 definitely promises to be one of the most “interesting” years ever.
