The Next Financial Crisis Has Already Arrived In Europe, And People Are Starting To Freak Out

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

Did you know that the sixth largest bank in Spain failed in spectacular fashion just a few days ago?  Many are comparing the sudden implosion of Banco Popular to the collapse of Lehman Brothers in 2008, and EU regulators hastily arranged a sale of the failed bank to Santander in order to avoid a full scale financial panic.  Sadly, most Americans have no idea that a new financial crisis is starting to play out over in Europe, because most Americans only care about what is going on in America.  But we should be paying attention, because the EU is the second largest economy on the entire planet, and the euro is the second most used currency on the entire planet.  The U.S. financial system is already teetering on the brink of disaster, and this new financial crisis in Europe could turn out to be enough to push us over the edge.

If EU regulators had not arranged a “forced sale” of Banco Popular to Santander, we would probably be witnessing panic on a scale that we haven’t seen since 2008 in Europe right about now.  The following comes from the Telegraph

Spanish banking giant Santander has stepped in to the rescue ailing rival Banco Popular by taking over the failing lender for €1 in a watershed deal masterminded by EU regulators to avoid a damaging collapse.

Santander will tap its shareholders for €7bn in a rights issue to raise the capital needed to shore-up Popular’s finances in a dramatic private sector rescue of Spain’s sixth-largest lender.

It will inflict losses of approximately €3.3bn on bond investors and shareholders but crucially will avoid a taxpayer bailout.

But now that a “too big to fail” bank like Banco Popular has failed, investors are immediately trying to figure out which major Spanish banks may be the next to collapse.  According to Wolf Richter, many have identified Liberbank as an institution that is highly vulnerable…

After its most tumultuous week since the bailout days of 2012, Spain’s banking system is gripped by a climate of fear, uncertainty and distrust. Rather than allaying investor nerves, the shotgun bail-in and sale of Banco Popular to Santander on Tuesday has merely intensified them. For the first time since the Global Financial Crisis, shareholders and subordinate bondholders of a failing Spanish bank were not bailed out by taxpayers; they took risks in order to make a buck, and they bore the consequences. That’s how it should be. But bank investors don’t like not getting bailed out.

Now they’re worrying it could happen again. As Popular’s final days showed, once confidence and trust in a bank vanishes, it’s almost impossible to restore them. The fear has now spread to Spain’s eighth largest lender, Liberbank, a mini-Bankia that was spawned in 2011 from the forced marriage of three failed cajas (savings banks), Cajastur, Caja de Extremadura and Caja Cantabria.

On Thursday, shares of Liberbank dropped by an astounding 20 percent, and that was followed up by another 19 percent decline on Friday.

Spanish authorities responded by banning short sales of Liberbank shares, and that caused a short-term rebound in the stock price.

But we haven’t seen this kind of chaos in European financial markets in a very long time.

Meanwhile, Nick Giambruno is sounding the alarm about a much bigger bubble.  At this moment, more than a trillion dollars worth of Italian government bonds have negative yields…

Over $1 trillion worth of Italian bonds actually have negative yields.

It’s a bizarre and perverse situation.

Lending money to the bankrupt Italian government carries huge risks. So the yields on Italian government bonds should be near record highs, not record lows.

Negative yields could not exist in a free market. They’re only possible in the current “Alice in Wonderland” economy created by central bankers.

You see, the European Central Bank (ECB) has been printing money to buy Italian government bonds hand over fist. Since 2008, the ECB and Italian banks have bought over 88% of Italian government debt, according to a recent study.

The moment that the ECB stops wildly buying Italian bonds, the party will be over and the Italian financial system will crash.  Unfortunately for Italy, the Germans are pressuring the ECB to quit printing so much money, and the Germans usually get their way in these things.

But if the Germans get their way this time, we could be facing a complete and utter nightmare very quickly.  Here is more from Nick Giambruno

Once the ECB—the only large buyer—steps away, Italian government bonds will crash and rates will soar.

Soon it will be impossible for the Italian government to finance itself.

Italian banks—which are already insolvent—will be decimated. They hold an estimated €235 billion worth of Italian government bonds. So the coming bond crash will pummel their balance sheets.

It’s shaping up to be a lovely train wreck.

And all of this is happening in the context of a global economy that appears to be headed for a major downturn.

For example, the last time that global credit growth showed down this rapidly was during the last financial crisis

From peak to trough the deceleration in global credit growth is now approaching that during the global financial crisis (-6% of global GDP), even if the dispersion of the decline is much narrower. Currently 55% of the countries in our sample have experienced a -0.3 standard deviation deterioration in their credit impulse (median over 12 months) compared to 77% of countries in Dec ’09 when the median decline was -1.4 stdev.”

Of course the last time global credit growth decelerated this dramatically, global central banks intervened on a scale that was unlike anything that we had ever seen before.

But this time around it is happening at a time when global central banks are very low on ammo

More importantly, back in 2009, not only China, but the Fed and other central banks unleashed the biggest injection of credit, i.e. liquidity, the world has ever seen resulting in the biggest asset bubble the world has ever seen. And, this time around, the Fed is set to hike for the third time in the past year, even as the ECB and BOJ are forced to soon taper as they run out of eligible bonds to monetize. All this comes at a time when US loan growth is weeks away from turning negative.

As such, what “kickstarts” the next spike in the credit impulse is unclear. What is clear is that if the traditional 3-6 month lag between credit inflection points, i.e. impulse, and economic growth is maintained, the global economy is set for a dramatic collapse some time in the second half.

There are so many experts that are warning about big economic trouble in our immediate future.  I would like to say that all of the experts that are freaking out are wrong, but I can’t do that.

I have not seen an atmosphere like this since 2008 and 2009, and everything points to an acceleration of the crisis as we enter the second half of this year.

      Last week, I posted this:

BREAKING: Banco Popular, one of Spain’s largest banks is on the brink of failure and has been put under review by the ECB and its share trading halted and suspended as of the opening of the Spanish stock market this morning. The ECB said that Banco Popular is likely to fail as deposit withdrawals grow and is facing more than $37 billion in bad loans on its books. It is not known what Spanish banking authorities will do, but it appears they are urging Spain’s largest bank, Santander, to raise capital by issuing more stock shares to attempt to take over Banco Popular.

And that helped us here in America…HOW?
More of your ridiculous back slapping and ego crowing. You are a very pitiful boy, and someone who obviously needs to be medicated and institutionalized.

        • SoCalBeachDude

Obviously, you are totally clueless and ignorant to make such absurd assertions. Pitiful, just pitiful. Not to mention pathetic.

          • JC Teecher

You need to update your files, because USSAG is now ranked 16th overall.
If not for liberal (evil/demonic) policies, America would still be # 1.

America is sick, and dying from liberalism saturation. It has a day of Judgment coming in the near future and the liberals just think they are upset and going bookoo dinky dauu over Trump, Christians, and the Conservatives. Wait till Both of God’s hands are removed and how much turmoil and chaos will be on “their” hands. Their commutes for marching protests in the streets won’t be much of a problem as half of them will be living in the streets.

          • SoCalBeachDude

There are a number of rankings for countries as to wealth and how that is measured, but the US is certainly not in the top 10 these days, but that has nothing whatsoever to do with “liberal policies” as you falsely assert.

California is by far the wealthiest stated in the US and is a $2.5 trillion a year economy which would be the sixth largest country economy in the world if it were an independent country. In fact, California’s GDP accounts for around 14% of the entire GDP of the USA.

Those states who are deep into your beliefs recited above including all in the Appalachian region are categorically the POOREST STATES IN THE ENTIRE USA.

  • aldownunder

    Interesting times indeed

    • SoCalBeachDude

All really just very much as expected – and about 8 to 10 years overdue – over in Europe for many major banks in Spain, Italy, Portugal, and even France and Germany.

      • aldownunder

Well if everyone had of taken their medicine 8-10 yrs ago instead of the endless bailouts and money creation we would be coming into recovery mode by now

        • SoCalBeachDude

We certainly do not know if that would have been the outcome at all, and there were NO NET BAILOUTS OF ANY SORT here in the USA. Europe and its banking system are very different from the very well run banking system in the US under the supervision of the Federal Reserve, the FDIC, and the OCC.

Is Another Spanish Bank about to Bite the Dust?

This creature’s shares were sold to the public in May 2013 at an IPO price of €0.40. By April 2014, they were trading above €2, a massive 400% gain. But by April 2015, shares started sinking. By May 2017, they were trading at around €1.20.

But since the bail-in of Popular, Liberbank’s shares have seriously crashed as panicked investors fled. Scenting fresh blood, short sellers were piling in. On Friday alone, shares plunged another 17%. At one point, they were down 38% before bouncing at the close of trading, much of it driven by the bank’s own share buybacks.

In the last three weeks a whole year’s worth of steadily rising gains on the stock market have been completely wiped out. The main causes of concern are the bank’s high risk profile and low coverage rate. By the close of the first quarter of 2017, Liberbank’s default rate had reached 13%, over three percentage points higher than the national average (9.8%), while its unproductive asset coverage rate was just 42.1%, compared to 47% for Banco Sabadell, 48% for Bankia, 50% for CaixaBank and 55% for Unicaja.

Santander buys struggling Spanish bank Popular for €1

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/business/2017/06/07/santander-buys-struggling-spanish-bank-popular-for1/

The shareholders and bondholders of the previously sixth largest bank in Spain, Banco Popular, were TOTALLY WIPED OUT YESTERDAY when the bank was declared FAILED and purchased by Santander, Spain’s largest bank for €1 (1 Euro) and merged with Santander including its around $40 trillion in failed non-performing loan “assets.”

    • JMiller

Well actually only Popular’s riskiest bonds, its AT1 bonds and AT2 bonds, got wiped out. The senior bondholders were spared.

Exclusive: EU in stronger position to tackle Italy after Spain bank rescue

European Union regulators believe their rescue of Spanish lender Banco Popular (POP.MC) has strengthened the case for intervening in Italy’s two weakest lenders, but expect it will be harder to use the same approach, a senior EU official said on Wednesday.

EU regulators arranged for Spain’s biggest bank, Santander (SAN.MC), to take over Banco Popular, but only after wiping out the investments of the troubled lender’s shareholders and junior creditors — a move welcomed by financial markets which saw it as a possible template for other EU banking crises.

Italy is struggling to resolve a crisis inside two regional banks, Banca Popolare di Vicenza and Veneto Banca, which are in an even weaker position in terms of capital than Banco Popular, according to the EU official who declined to identified.

Unlike Banco Popular, however, the official said the two Veneto banks lack a willing buyer like Santander.

Without a buyer, the banks, which face a combined capital shortfall of 6.4 billion euros ($7.2 billion), run the risk that regulators would wind them down and impose losses on senior creditors and large depositors — which Banco Popular avoided.

Everything is fine, they know exactly what they’re doing…

    • SoCalBeachDude

The problem with European banks is the VAST AMOUNT OF BAD (NON-PERFORMING) LOANS most of which were created during the vast global housing bubble leading the 2007-2009 turmoil. Banco Popular, which was Spain’s 6th largest bank was very much involved in that which is how it ended up with about $40 billion in bad loans which were assumed by Santander, Spain’s largest bank, when they were acquired for €1 (1 Euro) and the Bank Popular bondholders and shareholders got a 100% wipeout a few days ago.

“Think about this for a minute. Many Americans spend 40-60 hours during the week to afford the dream home with white picket fence in the suburbs, located six feet from their neighbor, but as soon as Friday rolls around, they grab the kids, the RV and get out of there AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.

So, this is our new economy. Americans working jobs they hate, to buy a house they can’t wait to leave just as soon as the weekend arrives. And all of this is being propped up by massive amount of debt and Central bank asset purchases.

    That’s the insanity.”

    • Bill

That’s just the reason it’s time to go tiny, simple, affordable and transportable. Canvert your life and enjoy it.

      • SoCalBeachDude

People in Beverly Hills, California are moving into larger houses than ever and expanding their existing houses into lovelier and more charming homes.

        • TOUJOURS DEMAIN

For some people in Beverly Hills that is fine. For others $300,000 homes are more than sufficient. For some a tiny house on wheels. For others a cellar full of preps fits the bill just fine.

          Different strokes for different folks.

It seems that if everyone would just do what works for them and not worry about 99% of the things in the world that we have 0% control over or don’t involve them, people just might be happier.

          Just maybe.

I think I will have some Cool Ranch Doritios.

          • SoCalBeachDude

True. Some people are just gypsies and nomads and shiftless with no place to they want to even settle down and call home. The so-called “American Dream” of a house with a white picket fence and 2 chickens in every garage was always just a MYTH.

As to chips and dips, I just got some great Hidden Valley Ranch Honey BBQ dressing and it is terrific on Tillamook aged sharp cheddar bites on Kroger Tortilla Rounds White (or Yellow) Corn chips!

            I love Aldi. 😉

          • SoCalBeachDude

Aldi is a VERY LOW END German grocery store chain associated with Trader Joe’s and I have always greatly disliked Trader Joe’s. Aldi has practically no stores in California but is just opening one:

Low-cost Aldi to expand US empire by 850 stores in five years as German grocery chain battles traditional traders Walmart and Whole Foods on home soil

German grocery chain Aldi Inc said on Sunday it would invest $3.4 billion to expand its U.S. store base to 2,500 by 2022, raising the stakes for rivals caught in a price war.

            Aldi – Wikipedia

Aldi is the common brand of two leading global discount supermarket chains with over 10,000 stores in 18 countries, and an estimated combined turnover of more than €50 billion. Based in Germany, the chain was founded by brothers Karl and Theo Albrecht in 1946 when they took over their mother’s store in Essen, which had been in operation since 1913.

The business was split into two separate groups in 1960, that later became Aldi Nord, headquartered in Essen; and Aldi Süd, headquartered in nearby Mülheim.

Aldi’s German operations consist of Aldi Nord’s 35 individual regional companies with about 2,500 stores in western, northern, and Eastern Germany, and Aldi Süd’s 32 regional companies with 1,600 stores in western and southern Germany.

Internationally, Aldi Nord operates in Denmark, France, the Benelux countries, the Iberian Peninsula, and Poland, while Aldi Süd operates in Ireland, Great Britain, Hungary, Switzerland, Australia, Austria and Slovenia (Aldi Süd operates as Hofer within the latter two countries). Both Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd also operate in the United States; Aldi Nord is owner of the Trader Joe’s chain, while Aldi Süd operates as “Aldi”.

Yes. You are correct. It is “VERY LOW END.”

I am “VERY LOW END”, or more accurately, simple.

            SoCalBeachDude…High end. ALWAYSTOMORROW…Simple.

Yet somehow we sit here on the same blog.

            I don’t mind if you don’t.

          • SoCalBeachDude

Yep, I was laughing when I read the Daily Mail article today on their US expansion of 850 stores when it stated they would be competing with Kroger (Ralphs)! Only in their WILDEST IMAGINATIONS. Kroger is a HIGH QUALITY GROCERY STORE in all of its variations (Kroger.com) and Aldi has nothing whatsoever that could even slightly begin to compete with Kroger. As to competing with Walmart, that’s a doable goal I would imagine though I’ve never been in a Walmart to shop for groceries! I am a fan of SAVVY SHOPPERS, but insist on HIGH QUALITY along with great prices!

          • TOUJOURS DEMAIN

My wife and I will stop by this Thursday and pick you up and you can come to Aldi (the very low end store) and shop with us. You can see how the normal folk live instead of just reading about them.

You don’t mind pushing a basket do you?

          • Paleface

Thank you for the offer, but my refrigerator, freezer, and pantries are so full of amazing bargains from Ralphs and Vons that there is no room to put anything else in the way of groceries! Plenty of so-called “normal” folks shop at both Ralphs (Ralphs.com) and Vons (Vons.com). Vons has Kraft Olive Oil Mayo (30 oz.) on sale this week for $2.00 each and has has a new Av0ocado Oil Mayo and I picked up a couple of those to try! The sale ends tomorrow night at midnight.

          • TOUJOURS DEMAIN

This will be my last reply… for now.

I do not want to keep you from posting those amazing and informative links that you have become so known and loved for. 😉

He loves getting good deals though, so don’t worry he will be in a Aldi’s soon enough, he just couldn’t stand it if he thought he was paying a penny too much some where else. And i believe he secretly goes to flea markets too despite what he states.

          • Stuey

Yeah, eating stale bread and doughnuts, that is real high quality.

          • Stuey

Yeah, but their prices are so low. That is where the deals are at! You are missing out dude! HAHA

          • Stuey

          • JC Teecher

I prefer my Avocados from South of the Border, because they don’t glow in the dark as much, and I don’t get that lingering metal taste in the back of my throat from the Caesium-137 in Cali’s air and water.
Sea life along the west coast is turning up dead on the beaches in ever growing numbers, and it is being covered up and under reported. California is slowly dying, and the wise are packing up and leaving.

That was great info. And seems to be unwelcome here. But, their lack of interest won’t prepare them for what is happening to their own bodies by subjecting themselves to what is killing all the sea life along the west coast.
I moved from there decades ago. I grew up there and I miss surfing, but not the “glow” that now goes with it. And anywhere else along the west coastline. Too bad.

            What utter BS nonsense, dude.

          • SoCalBeachDude

Absolutely false. Nothing is “killing sealife” at all and even the city of Tokyo which is only 150 miles away from the TEPCO power plant is not affected by the situation back 6 years ago with that Tokyo Electric Power Company plant.

          • SoCalBeachDude

What utter nonsense. Our beaches and air quality in California are excellent these days and the skies are nearly always blue and there is no “radiation” at all as your moronically assert. California is thriving and is more wonderful than it has ever been and the population is increasing at a rate of around 1 million people a year and will soon be over 40 million folks living here.

Moreover, it is by far the most productive and wealthiest state in the USA with an economy that is more than $2.6 trillion in size which is around 14% of the entire USA economy.

The Daily Mail just published a wonderful photography display of California today which I would suggest you look at to learn about California and the City of the Angels:

Yes you are correct, and scbd is not representative of 50% of America as he tries to portray himself as speaking for. He represents the hard core liberal minority, which is to say the infidels and heathen, that seek to destroy America through acceptance of mass immigration of underlings, that they can use to benefit their agenda.

        • SoCalBeachDude

Laughably false, and I am am very fiscally conservative as are most Californians.

          • edwitness

Fiscal conservatives do not vote for higher taxes for themselves the way Californians do. That’s part of the reason I left.

Many fiscal conservatives certainly did and do vote to increase state taxes when it is imperative to do so in order to balance the state budget. Obviously.

Conservative indeed. When billions of it goes to illegal aliens you vote to support by raising your own taxes. Now that’s laughable Bwahahaha ha

Let me translate this for everyone—“i am a tight ass billionaire and i know where all the best deals are and i eat old stale bread and doughnuts and i secretly go to flea markets and i just can’t wait for an Aldi’s to open up near me so i can go there.(disguised of course, wouldn’t want my Beverly Hills neighbors to find out i went to Aldi)”

    • Jerry C

It used to be the goal to live in the suburbs surrounded by like-minded hard-working American friendly neighbors within your income bracket. Today, that’s no longer the case with the world implanting sub-prime mortgage holders next your dream home driving down your property value. Best to own your own land as far away as you can before they build suburbs there too.

As the heat of Summer begins, the heating up of the negative spirit world is working on the minds of those not focused on the Kingdom to come.
Worldliness and the love of money and stuff is priority one for most people around the world. Studies have shown that 50% of all people that claim to be Christian have moved away from Bible principles and taken up with a worldly liberal acceptance ideology.
The priority to protect, preserve, and proliferate their cash, is why it is “invested” in the stock market, and banks. Some even have the double risks of allowing banks to control their stock portfolio as well.
People still working, and not living off a big trust fund like ScBD, are tied to banks and other financial institutions with their 401Ks here in America. There is most likely a same equivalent program in most European Countries. When banks start going belly up; imagine the panic and drop in bank deposits. Imagine people having to worry about losing their life savings, or the majority of it, in a 401K or company pension fund.
When the dominoes start falling, it will encase the whole world. What to do and when to do it is the big question. The closer we get to early Fall, the tension will build as to how things are shaping up for a possible financial Armageddon. The three amigos of the underworld of the ecb will be irrelevant then, and the big C, won’t be so worried about calling out and condemning Christians, as he will be to focused on saving his infidel asthma.

    • Paul Anders

The dominoes have already started falling, that’s what he’s telling you…

      • SoCalBeachDude

Yes, they most certainly have! Big time!

Less than 23% of the world’s more than 7.5 billion people have any interest at all in your Christian religion which has nothing at all to do with political and economic matters.

That’s a lot of people going to hell I guess.

        • SoCalBeachDude

Huh? The 77% of people in the world’s population that have no interest in your Christian religion would simply say to you “What the hell is hell?!!!”

          • Dean

I guess they’ll find out when they die in their sins unsaved. Very sad 🙁

          • SoCalBeachDude

When you’re dead, YOU ARE DEAD. Period.

          • Paul Patriot

Truth is truth, no matter how “popular” it is.

Jesus proclaimed that wide is the road that leads to destruction, and narrow is the road (the way) that eads to life.

Biblically speaking most people are on the wide road to hell, eternal separation from God, so, your statistic may be accurate.

This world rejects the Light because of its sins and selfish desires, and the light (the Holy Spirit) shines and exposes their sins and convicts the world of sin, and points to the only name under heaven by which we may be saved from the righteous judgement of a Holy God…..the savior Jesus.

          • JC Teecher

Here is a very relevant truth for America, especially the so-called “Church” aka self-proclaimed Christians.

            2Ch 7:14
“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

The biggest word, and most important (in biblical terms when hearing from God) in the English language is also the shortest….”IF”. A conditional word meaning something will be done…….. “IF” = upon a condition being met.

The next important, actually very important is that this condition needing to be met, is “not” for the heathen and evil minded people in high places, but; more importantly is for those..”called by my name” meaning Christians, the Church, and church going peoples.

Four conditions must be met before the healing of their land..aka America, can begin.
A humbling down, a talking with God (repentance), a pleading to see his face (represents his direct presence in their life which also means accepting their pleas for repentance), and then changing from their wicked ways aka, “playing church” while all the while siding with liberalism by accepting abortion and gay marriage, for starters.

A pretty simple explanation and simple things to do, in order for America to begin the healing process and regain God’s protections.
Has it happened? On a small scale, but not as a majority.
Will it ever happen? Hopefully, but I don’t think it will, with all the doctrines of man that has overtaken the mainstream religious systems in America.
People don’t want to hear about conviction, but rather prosperity and escapism.
Has God taken His hands off America, more specifically the Church?
I think He has removed one hand already, and possibly after Sept. 30th.,Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement/Judgment; He may remove the other.

9/11 was a good example of a catastrophe that brought people back to God, in droves.
What kind of events will it take for such a revival to take place again?
            A very BIG one.
And; it will not do any good if there is not sincere repentance and a changing of wicked ways to go along with that revival. Sadly; I see too much pride in the North American peoples to make a return. It doesn’t take a majority to cause a healing to return, just a majority of Church/Christian peoples.

          • JC Teecher

Jesus Christ told us about this very time in Matthew 25, when he spoke of the Ten virgins. The virgins represent the “church” the Christian community, that are supposed to be awating His return and the Kingdom.

The call came out that He was returning as the Bridegroom, and the ten were supposed to be ready and waiting. Five of them were not ready, which is Christs representation of the Church/Christian Community today as 50% are claiming to be christian, yet follow the liberal ideologies of committing murder of the innocent/unborn, and accepting gay marriage as though God approves.
They left the marriage house where Christ was coming to, and went out to get oil..aka truth, from the christ that was already here, for they had been filling up their lamps with his oil of deception, and it ran out, as deception/lies will not last.
By the time they had filled up on more lies from Antichrist, and returned; Christ has already came and closed the door whereby they could not enter.

This tells us that 50% of the “Church” will not make the grade. 50% will be found lacking because of taking up with the Antichrist that comes first, because they followed preachers that had them brainwashed into a pre-trib, first christ, escapism doctrine, and had been following the ole dragon, with his prosperity message. The ole love of money is priority one for those Christians.

          • Carl

Yes we know god loves himself those virgins. In fact one could argue that he is pretty obsessed with the hymen. Perhaps he is jealous because he never had one.

          • Carl

            Religion in Backcountry Appalachia

Christianity has long been the main religion in Appalachia.

Religion in Appalachia is characterized by a sense of independence and a distrust of religious hierarchies, both rooted in the evangelical tendencies of the region’s pioneers, many of whom had been influenced by the “New Light” movement in England.

Many of the denominations brought from Europe underwent modifications or factioning during the Second Great Awakening (especially the holiness movement) in the early 19th century.

A number of 18th and 19th-century religious traditions are still practiced in parts of Appalachia, including natural water (or “creek”) baptism, rhythmically chanted preaching, congregational shouting, snake handling, and foot washing.

While most church-goers in Appalachia attend fairly well organized churches affiliated with regional or national bodies, small unaffiliated congregations are not uncommon in rural mountain areas.

          • Gay Veteran

            talking to yourself yet again?

          • Chuck Morrison

Abortion and gay marriage are evil things, it is true. But those are personal sins that you or I or anyone can repent of, as we have control over those aspects of our lives. But when the Lord says “My People, who are called by my name”, He is speaking collectively of ALL of us. He is not just speaking of the liberal church members that embrace gay marriage and abortion, he is speaking to people like you who only mention those two sins so you can act like you are separated, and not unevenly yoked.

Unfortunately, the corporate sins of America, a country claimed by Christians to be founded as a Christian nation, as one nation under God, has turned into Mystery Babylon, and her sins have piled up to heaven. Those sins are the endless LIES told to us by politicians, corporations, academe, and the media; the constant THEFTS perpetrated on people here and all over the world, as those who act in our name destroy the financial system and transfer assets to themselves; the physical and spiritual ADULTERIES perpetrated by perverts and priests/preachers, and the endless and ongoing MURDERS perpetrated by our leadership, and using our military and police forces against both us, and shedding the blood of ALL who are slain in the Earth, for the purpose of subjugating/enslaving people and stealing their resources, in countries half-way around the world, who would never have been a threat to anyone if they had been left alone.

These are the sins of America, and most American Christians refuse to acknowledge them. By the standards of what the Word of Christ sees as Just, the US hasn’t been in a Just War since the War of 1812. And don’t hand me WW II as an example of a ‘good’ war. If we had stayed out of WW I, Germany very likely would have won, so no Versailles Agreement, no Hitler, and no WW II. Our Military mission is obvious to the Just at heart: Secure, defend, and protect our borders. Ron Paul knew this, and was rejected, but we’ll go with Trump!

All the ‘Christian’ cheerleaders of apostate political Israel, our Imperial Storm Trooper Military, and our vaunted ‘Captains of Industry’, are completely blinded to the truth of the situation: they have become the Church at Laodicea.

            And to the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things said the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

15I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot: I would you were cold or hot. 16So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth. 17Because you say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and know not that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18I counsel you to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that you may be rich; and white raiment, that you may be clothed, and that the shame of your nakedness do not appear; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see. 19As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent. 20Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 21To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne. 22He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit said to the churches.

The ‘gold tried in the fire’ is the words of Christ that got Him crucified: “Repent! for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand!” The white raiment is the righteous acts of the saints. The eyesalve provides comfort, which the Spirit of God gives us when we are repentant and in communion with Him, and the Spirit reveals the Truth, that we might see. I am just a poor sinner saved by Grace through Faith, and I still see myself as imperfect and growing. Some things I have been allowed to see very clearly, and this is one of them: unless the Christians of America openly and collectively repent of America’s sins, America will fall, and her cities will burn.

But Revelation 18 indicates that repentance will not come, and so we are encouraged to “come out of her my people, lest ye be partakers of her sins…” I simply see it as important to try, even though I am nothing but a voice in the wilderness.

          • edwitness

“My People, who are called by my name”, He is speaking collectively of ALL of us.”

The passage you refer to is written exclusively to Israel. Christians did not exist when this was written. And there is never any reference to future believers.
Context is everything when studying the scriptures for understanding what is being said and to whom it is being said.
God has never made a covenant with America like He did with Israel. Or any other nation for that matter.
Therefore, 2Chricles7:14 has no application to any people or nation except Israel.

And the 10 virgins parable refers to Israel, not the church.

            Blessings:-}

          • JC Teecher

I disagree with part, as there were Christians in the sense that they were lead by God, and not _udah, where _ews originated as a bloodline.
They were called Hebrews/Israelites and were the bloodlines that were to become Christians and Messianic _ews in the future.

The old testament is just as alive and meaningful today as it was back then. Much of it prophetic and directed at the Godly people of today, being scattered offspring of the Israelites, which were primarily Caucasian that moved into western Europe.
Many of those migrated to the New World/North america, and are very relevant as seen by God as modern day “house of Israel”.

The Chronicles Scripture is even more relevant for North America today than it was back in the Biblical Days of the Land of Israel, known as Judea and Israel.

We may differ on who when and where, but we still answer to the Same God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob of which we are descendants of, if we are of European descent; be it _ewish or Christian faith.

          • Carl

So you know this yet still can’t help but fall for the old religion scheme.

          • JC Teecher

There is common ignorance of who the modern day Israelites are, and who the _jewish peoples are.

I was ignorant on the subject myself for many decades as I followed man’s doctrines of “Israel is the church/bride” and the other misleading teachings that all of Israel is the _ews. I explain it a little further in the reply below.

For a quick reference of God’s position on this, I was always bewildered by His Word’s in Ezekiel as to how it was in relation to events of the last days..aka Ezekiel 38/39 event, but at the same time God was talking about two separate peoples, in Ezekiel 37.

After much study and prayer for understanding, the answers came and it is without a doubt, He is speaking of the future, and the split and scattered tribes of old Israel, and what has happened to them, and what will happen in the near future.
The House (stick with Judah written on it) is a direct indication of the modern day, returned tribes of Judah and Benjamin, and some of Levi, to the “land/Nation” of Israel which began in 1948.
The other ten tribes, as the House of Ephraim (the stick of Joseph) that were scattered and mostly ended up in the Americas through immigration in the early 1600’s, and before. Many of the extended bloodlines still exist in Great Britain and Western Europe as well.

What God is telling us here, that with the events of Ezekiel 38/39, we can get ready because this is last days event just prior to the return of the Messiah, and all are changed back into spirit (rapture) and will be regathered, as both sticks/peoples, again, for the Millennial Reign around the New Holy Temple in Jerusalem, where Christ will sit as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

The old testament has been written off by many preachers because of ignorance and false teaching through establishment religionists.
The Old testament isn’t old, nor is it irrelevant, as it is very much still alive today as it was over 2000 years ago, when it was penned.
Rightly dividing of the Word with help of the Holy Spirit is a wonderful thing.
The truth is the light that will set us free.

          • edwitness

I am not “ignorant” of your account. I just do not agree that the scriptures say the same thing. The Israel that was there when he said in 2Chronicles are those it is intended for. Otherwise there is no difference between Israel and Gentiles.
And Paul said the gospel was to Israel first and then the Gentiles. And Jesus said He came for the house of Israel. And only after His death and resurrection did He send Paul to the Gentiles. The “sheep of another fold” Jesus spoke of.
            Blessings:-}

          • JC Teecher

            I see your interpretation.

How many preachers do you see speaking of “all” people that are not _ewish, as being Gentiles?
That is a false and ignorant teaching.
Only the southern tribes were called _ewish by their location at the time and then later, after about 300BC, by their religious beliefs.
The ten Northern tribes back before their dispersion with Jeremiah, were never referred to as Gentiles nor _udeans, as it was a reference to any and all peoples that “resided” in that region.
Yes, biblically some of those ten Northern Israelites/Hebrews became known as _ewish, even after they were taught Christianity, and were baptized.
God never called them Gentiles, nor did Paul. He referred to Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, the Arabians/Persians and Ethoipians, etc, as Gentiles because they were distinctly different bloodlines.
Paul even admitted that he was called _ew because of his residency, but in all actuality he said he was a Benjamite.

Most all people today do not even know their ancestry, unless they are black, hispanic, or asian, etc.
Caucasians were the whole Hebrew Israelite peoples, and they are numbered as the sands of the seas and the stars of Heaven.
I even heard ole pre-tribber, Mr. I have over 100,000 hours of study, Perry Stone refer to his all white congregation, as Gentiles. WRONG!
Any God fearing Caucasian, wherever they are from, as in blood linage, are not considered Gentile by our Father.

          • edwitness

I did not use the word Jewish. Neither did Jesus.
“But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
Only later was Paul separated by Jesus to take the gospel to the Gentiles.
“For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:” Rom.11:13
            And
“And he(Jesus) said unto me, Depart: for I will send thee far hence unto the Gentiles.” Acts22:21

          • JC Teecher

          • Gay Veteran

you mean like a husband having an al sex with his wife?

          • edwitness

There are many parts to a man and woman, both emotional and physical, that make them correspond to each other in the way that makes our relationship compatible with the way God made us.
These make the sex act, which defines the man/man and woman/woman relationship, but does not define the man/woman relationship, only a small part of the corresponding parts in that relationship.
Your ultimate trust in gravity doesn’t explain your moral choices. So you must trust in something else that creates those choices.
The symbol of your trust stands in Washington DC as well as the Vatican. And every continent on earth. Because the god we trust in defines who we are. Which is why you call yourself “gay veteran”.

you just can’t handle the fact that 2 men or 2 women can be in love with each other

“…The symbol of your trust stands in Washington DC as well as the Vatican….”

I guess somewhere that makes sense

Oh but I can. I have many brothers that I love dearly. But, that does not include the kind of love that I have for my wife. The love I have for my brothers in Christ is agape and phileho.
And while those are part of the love I have for my wife, my relationship with her also includes eros. A physical attraction. That’s the kind of “love” you are talking about between you and your reprobate friends. It’s where we derive the word erotic. Which is really no love at all. It only represents the sex act or the desire fore it.
That’s why the woman in the man/man homosexual relationship begins to take on very flamboyant characteristics of a woman. Hence the descriptive word “queen”.
And the man in the woman/woman homosexual relationship takes on the characteristics of a man. Hence the descriptive word “butch”.
Because the sex act or it’s desire is who you have become. The Washington Monument and it’s corollary in the Vatican are representative of your god.
The phalus. Nimrod. The ancient pagan religion.

Then why do you call yourself GAY veteran? Because that’s what you identify yourself with. The homo sex act. And you want everyone to know that you do.
And that is why I call myself edwitness. Because I identify myself with God’s calling on my life. Please note that I did not call myself heterosexual edwitness.

You err coming out the gate, by saying that God is speaking collectively about to all created peoples of the world.
He specifically speaks of those “called by my name”, which is to say Christians.
When have heathens/liberals/atheists and deists allowed themselves to be called by His name, as “Christ like”. Never!
And when you say that the sins of abortion and gay marriage are personal sins and not collective sins, as in “legalized killing and gay acceptance” by a collective society, you show your true biblical ignorance and any that follow such a warped ideology are making a terrible mistake.
You sound like a modern day liberalized preacher that has a whole congregation whoring after him as the ultimate authority. Maybe you are, or maybe you are just an aspiring one, but anyone with any common sense should run away from you teachings like running from a burning building.
You need to refuel your lamp with the true oil of the Word.

          • Chuck Morrison

The context clearly indicates I was speaking of the Church, as it otherwise would make no sense. You are practicing willful blindness, and proving my point Laodicean. I said quite clearly that individuals have PERSONAL CONTROL over the two filthy sins you refer to. This is true, and I say not ONE WORD about excusing them, or accepting them, or indicating that I would take their part in a discussion of these issues. Again, blindness of the Laodicean.

Whereas, the corporate sins of America are largely out of our direct control. We elect new officials that make new promises (lies), and then they do what they want IN OUR NAME! You have no control over how many unjust wars the country is involved in. You didn’t address the sins of America, at all. The two you mention, strictly politically speaking, are used to keep people in the same economic boat so divided that they cannot unite to run the wicked powers that be out of the country. Not that we should compromise on our beliefs about abortion and gay ‘marriage’. I’m trying to point out how these wicked ‘leaders’ are corrupting the Church, because the Church continues to support the two-party system, and it’s elected and appointed officials, as though we were bound to, even with enthusiasm!

And as to your ending, I must have the ‘right oil’ because you have simply restated what I already said. It’s time to ‘come out of her, come out of her’. I know I’ll never vote again. No King but King Jesus!

          • JC Teecher

I see your point, and respect your interpretation but I will not rehash those points, but will try to set you straight on one thing. Sodomy/homosexuality is very much a forgivable sin in the flesh.
However; if you know anything about God’s laws in Deuteronomy, then you must also know that none of that law, only blood sacrifice statutes and some early practices of Levitical Priests authority concerning repentance, have been nullified by Christ’s blood.

God does not mince words, in that, homicide/planned murder, especially of innocent in the womb, cannot be forgiven in the flesh world, as the murderer must stand in the Heavenly court of Judgment, before the victim and God, in order to receive full repentance.
It isn’t taught and therefore it isn’t recognized as biblical within almost all Christian denominations.
But I can guarantee you without a doubt that it is still relevant today, as it was when God spoke it.

So teaching that it is, is wrong, and will not change what God said back then as He is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow. There is no scripture anywhere that tells us that He changed His mind or position on the matter of planned murder. Warfare and defensive killing are separate things, than planned murder/homicide.

I would rethink my position on that and pray about it before you sling more stones my way. To be ignorant isone thing. but to not fully understand and know truth, and teach falsehoods is a bad position to be in.
You have freewill to believe any doctrine you want, and I will not condemn you for following what you have been taught, but now you know truth on the matter.
That is why I said people should run from your inaccurate teachings.
Do you choose to deceive people?

          • Chuck Morrison

I am not in disagreement with you, and frankly, I have no idea what you are referring to. I don’t believe a person who has actually received the earnest of the Spirit because of their faith, can actually get an abortion, or engage in sodomy. If they do, then it must be that they never actually came to a saving knowledge of Christ. People not of the faith, and firmly of the world, like the Darwinist/materialist view, which takes away free will and gets them off the hook. In their eyes, people are only the sum of their memories, which is why the most extreme among them advocate abortion right up to birth. They have not heard, and cannot understand, and don’t realize that these innocents are being sacrificed to Moloch. But there are some higher up the food chain who know this full well, and have delight in their evil practice; hard as that is to get your head around.

I suspect that the main thing sticking in your craw is the idea that every one of these Imperialist wars of the 20th century and beyond have been completely unjustified. It’s no wonder they hate us. And don’t say “9/11!” That was a joint CIA/Mossad op, and there is overwhelming evidence to support it. Even if you just blame the 19 hijackers, they were all Wahabists from the Saudi School, and Trump just signed a huge arms deal with them, and there’s never been any accountability or sanctions. But the events of the Day prove we were had with a false flag, and what happened to the THREE buildings that fell that day was simply not possible without controlled demolition. And do you remember Rumsfeld the day before making an announcement at the Pentagram that 1.5 Trillion was missing, and no one could seem to find it? Then 9/11 happened the next day, and no one has mentioned the missing money since. So I definitely do not see 9/11 as an excuse for endless war.

Sorry I was so thoroughly misunderstood. The comments section is difficult, because one is inclined to try and condense, and some things require a lot of words to explain. And don’t be too hard on Dude! I have been praying for him (I’m sure he hates that), and he will very soon find himself at the spiritual cross-roads of his life, God willing.

          • JC Teecher

            Thanks Chuck,
I apologize if I came across a bit harshly, and critical. I was just in the middle of another issue, and I made the mistake of letting that cloud my judgment.

We are on the same page and I too have prayed for sbd, but it is ultimately his ship to sail or sink. Same with snottly and Carl.

You are definitely right about the spiritual crossroads. As the Bible says, “there is nothing new under the Sun”; meaning on Earth and with the World.

The things that have been, for the most part will be again, and that is precise why I see the things that happened with the Israelistes/Hebrews of old, will also happen with the House of Israel, descendants of those Hebrews, America (the majority of which is of those bloodlines and Caucasian) as the “church/bride/Christians/God fearing (revering)/peoples that were the “chosen peoples”, (not just _ews as is a common misconception) will happen again.

There is a very strong parallel of the period of Ahab and Jezebel that set the kingdom of the ten tribes, for a very destructive period.
That parallel is almost exactly common and linked with what transpired during the potus/kingship of Bill clinton and his evil wife Hillery, as she has time and time again fulfilled a role like Jezebel.
Judgment came upon the House of Israel because of the support and following of the peoples of those two evil people. the continued support by the evil left agenda and followers has now put this nation in a precarious position of judgment.
I have many points that verify what I am talking about, but do not have the time and space to put it out there.
Anyways; the time of impending judgment, I believe is about to hit smack dab in the heart of America, and it is coming this early Fall, I do feel strongly about.

It will not be a final judgment, but a great shaking of the foundations of everyday living that Christians are taking for granted, and which was my intent on the Chronicles scripture, to bring forth.
Hopefully it will not take us into the full on tribulation period, but it very well could.
People should plan accordingly, and get their houses in order, just in case.
the liberals and evil will not see the possibilities, and many Christians won’t as well, but there is a remnant that will see the warnings and heed the advice of the author here, and from many others of us as well.

Have a good evening, and a better morning.

God is also a murderer but that’s OK by you teechy isn’t it. In fact I bet you wish you were god so you could do just as many things as god did in the old testament. I wonder where did god go in the new testament? It seems he just poof disappeared.

          • Carl

God participated and allowed abortion in the old testament as well as child sacrifice (think Tamar)

            Here’s some verses for you:

            1 Samuel 15
            Psalms 135:8 & 136:10

These were not human per Gen.6:1-4

          • Carl

Really so ALL the slaughtering that god ordered was because these “people” were not human. What about all the firstborns in Egypt – were they human?

Nice of you to pick and choose which slaughtering you will defend with an opinion about who these people were and which examples you will ignore because you can’t justify it.

          • PGMGN

God is the Creator and can exact whatever He wills from His creatures.

You may as well argue that God allows people to die so why not murder folks when they annoy us.

          • Carl

The point is that GOD did not murder these people he made HUMANS do the killing and slaughtering for him.

One could argue that if god makes humans do his dirty work it is because 1. he is unable to do it himself (and if that’s the case he is not a powerful god since he can do nothing on this earth himself)

or 2. we are gods puppets and he pulls our strings and uses us for his own amusement. (that he actually gets off on the violence and the bloodshed and the slaughter of men, women, children and infants, born and unborn. As well as animals (who have done nothing to offend him).

How can one argue a loving and kind and merciful god when he commits murderous acts upon human beings. Or moves human beings to commit murderous acts on other human beings?

Can’t you see the old testament and the mass killings that are done in the name of freedom, power, etc mimic the mindset and the attitudes of those in the old testament. Just a reflection on mans desire to take and seize and hold power over others. The USA continues doing this since its inception and has never stopped.

          • edwitness

You have already been told why. Gen.6

          • Carl

That only applies to the flood. Not everything else. Besides in some instances god allowed the virgins to live. If they were not human why would that be permitted?

          • PGMGN

Sorry, I don’t consider God, the Creator, as perpetrating “murderous” acts. He is not “making” us do His dirty work and/or using us like puppets. We are, like it or not, His creation. Not our own.

You may want to review your own tendency to “get off” on blaming and feigning that human nature isn’t what it is. Fallen. So, it is mankind who carries on perpetrating all manner of crimes against one another. Not just the USA. And absolutely not God who, because of the nature of who He is, doesn’t have to comply by your sense of right and wrong.

          • Carl

So if our sense of what is right and wrong is not what god deems right and wrong one can conclude that there is no right and wrong in this world and that anything and everything is on the table. Good to know.

You are a moron and ignorant. I feel sorry for you and if you have children especially them because you are polluting their minds with lies and bull.

          • PGMGN

Sorry, Carl, but you’re barking up the wrong tree.

What you think, you think. What “you” do, you become. And when you want to castigate God for His actions, you become a blind, reprobate. I’ sorry that your parents didn’t instill you with a sense of reality. Or, if they did, that you now feel so compelled in your teen angst — a condition known to affect even those of far more advanced years — to break from their wise counsel.

So, your fears of what will happen to my children are little more than the speculative whinings of a bit of flotsam. You may want to stop polluting your own mind by attempting to judge He who created you.

You know not what you do ;^)

Again, there is no your god vs my god. There is ony God, the Truth, and lies. You’re falling prey to the latter by focusing on what has been taken away. Maybe you should meet some crippled vets who know God and have accepted His ways to include the fact that we are only human therefore not in a position to rage.

why? because that would be actual proof of the existence of your “god”

          • PGMGN

Proof for you maybe. But for how long?

Sorry, GV, but you don’t get to set the standard for what determines reality. Only what you are willing to accept. And until you accept your own limitations, well, regeneration of limbs isn’t going to help you at all.

          • Gay Veteran

            how long? forever

I don’t need a limb to be regenerated.

          • PGMGN

          • Gay Veteran

All in America should relax. If the EU collapse then the Euro will collapse too. Then they have no choice but to use the US Dollar as their currency. Suddenly the Fed can print trillions of new dollars to replace the Euro. Money galore from the Fed and its member banks. Unlimited credits now available to every one, no questions asked. America is saved!
Now imagine China collapse. Imagine Fed’s extreme happiness. The CIA is working real hard to make this happen.
Only the dual collapse of EU and China will save America from its umteen trillions of debt and unpayable obligations.

    • SoCalBeachDude

Absolutely false. The EU will not and cannot use the US dollar as their currency to replace the Euro and obviously does not have the slightest bit of interest in doing so. The Federal Reserve has maintained the US money supply at very conservative levels and the total US money supply in the regulated US banking system of around 6,000 member banks is less than $14 trillion.

China is in VASTLY WORSE CONDITION FINANCIALLY than the USA and has been the most egregious money printer over the past 10 years. It has increased the money supply of the renminbi by more than $30 trillion from less than $3 trillion to now more than $34 trillion – while the US money supply of dollars has increased only about $4 trillion to currently around $13.5 trillion in M2. And the US economy is about twice the size of the Chinese economy. Moreover, the Chinese have taken their wild ride ON THE BACK OF THE US DOLLAR to printing BOGUS MONEY IN ASTRONOMICAL AMOUNTS as they link the renminbi’s value to that of the US dollar with very minimal float of less than 2%.

Now, the WHEELS ARE FLYING OFF THE WAGON over in China and their who financial system is coming crashing down catastrophically.

China has a huge debt problem. How bad is it?

Credit rating agency Moody’s downgraded China this week, warning that the country’s financial health is suffering from rising debt and slowing economic growth. It’s the first time the agency has cut China’s rating in nearly three decades.

Fears about debt levels in the world’s second-largest economy have been flagged before. The International Monetary Fund pushed Beijing to “urgently address” the issue last year.

BANKING PANIC BREAKS OUT INSIDE PBOC IN CHINA

Extreme panic has broken out inside the PBOC inside China over the past week. The PBOC (People’s Bank Of China) is the central bank of China and their equivalent to the Federal Reserve. The PBOC has jacked up the overnight interbank borrowing rate to 42.8% which is equivalent to the Federal Reserve raising the Federal Funds Rate which applies to overnight interbank borrowing up to 42.8%.

Many crises are going on inside the Chinese banking system and financial markets and that is where the epicenter of the global financial panic and collapses will be occurring which will affect the entire global economies.

Planned global collapse. Elites to your DUMB
(could you imagine being stuck in a DUMB with a bunch of elites! I would rather see Jesus face to face!)

“More importantly, back in 2009, not only China, but the Fed and other central banks unleashed the biggest injection of credit, i.e. liquidity, the world has ever seen resulting in the biggest asset bubble the world has ever seen. And, this time around, the Fed is set to hike for the third time in the past year, even as the ECB and BOJ are forced to soon taper as they run out of eligible bonds to monetize. All this comes at a time when US loan growth is weeks away from turning negative.”

Oh and the US did foreign currency swaps Under O so US is stuck with a ton of Euros.
Now watch as May and Trump are moved aside.

    • SoCalBeachDude

The Federal Reserve does not have any currency swaps of any significance whatsoever, and the most egregious money printer / credit creator in the world has been the PBOC (People’s Bank Of China) which has increased the Chinese money supply of renminbi (RMB / yuan) by more than $30 trillion over the past 10 years from less than $3 trillion to now more than $34 trillion – despite the fact that their economy is about half the size of the US economy. Moreover, they did this ON THE BACK OF THE US DOLLAR to which the renminbi is linked for valuation with very minimal float – and that game is now coming to an abrubt6 and very brutal end as China’s economy collapses.

Many of the banks in Italy, Spain, Greece, and Portugal simply need to be totally shut down which will then allow competent banks like JPMC to enter the markets and start cleaning up the messes those banks have made.

I have two blocked posters, snot and dud. As of this posting they account for just over half of the total comments. Abusers of American freedoms should be subject to consequences. Freedom of speech that is abused must have consequences. If garbage collects in one spot for too long it becomes a dump. The garbage from these two posters is turning this blog into a dump. I have been a poster on this blog for a “l o n g” time.

It is time for a policy change. If you agree please “vote” below.

    • SmallerGovNow2

agreed. this forum has become the “dude” website…

      • Voice Over

The Dude is actually MS’s insane but bright brother whom he keeps chained in a cellar with a computer & extra posting privileges to keep him manageable .

        • SoCalBeachDude

          What utter nonsense.

          • Voice Over

You must be a lot of fun to have a beer with Dude, a barrel of laughs.
Do you have any friends visit you in your cellar? Even one? I bet your bro just slides the food tray under the door and escapes quick as….

          • SoCalBeachDude

What utterly bogus and mindless nonsense.

    • Paul Anders

This is what the owner of the site wants…why do you think he gets the extra benefit of being able to paste stuff?

      • JC Teecher

That is the key wording…”owner of the site”. ms has the prerogative to allow or disallow any he chooses. I respect that and have come to the conclusion that I will use some of the dud’s remarks to counteract his lies and missteps of which he has proven time and time again he does.
I still have him on block with Kill File, that I can unblock a direct comment from he, carl, or snottly, when I want, if I want, and immediately hide the comment again. It is the best of both worlds and my google Chrome accepted the plugin quickly.
The only problem is the same with Disqus block, and you still have all that white space, but at least you don’t have all the needless links showing.

        • aldownunder

When you get your own site up and running you can re-post some of the articles from the ECB and we can read and comment on them through your site and by pass all the pests that have over taken this site

          • JC Teecher

            Thanks aldownunder.
I have prayed and from all I have gathered, God is working out the details of where ,when and how, all of that will transpire. I have several books about ready to be published and, all that will come together as part of the financing of the costs to keep a website up and running for all purposes that are for the betterment,.social interactions, and spiritual up lifting through truth.
I even have a section for prepping ideas and help, as well as the woman’s corner for special help from a woman’s perspective for a better life.
There will be an entertainment section that people can submit ideas and music and such.

The whole center and function is about bringing like minded people together, that have compassion for all peoples that love the Lord and His natural creation. The website will be coupled with an actual brick and mortar business whereby anyone can participate in gatherings if they are in the vicinity, and/or visiting. We hope to offer many varied inspirational items via the internet and walk in shopping, that will further our goals to help others.

I am looking forward to some financial things coming together soon, and am not going to jump the gun before the dust settles after what I see possibly coming on America, this Fall.
Thanks again for your interest and moral support.

        Hence the block.

        • TOUJOURS DEMAIN

If the block works, why does he want a “policy change”?

          • Bill

            To stop the excessive comments.

          • PocoPete

Yes. And also consider a newcomer to the economic collapse blog website. The newcomer will see all of the non relevant comments and childish name calling and decide he does not want to participate in the discussion. We may lose some quality thoughtful posts by intelligent new visitors to this blog.

          • aldownunder

A very good point that should be taken into account by the sites author

          • Stuey

            so very true!

    • orsobubu

Socaldude is generally correct , in my opinion, with his analysis, ie when it comes to negate the idea that EU is going to collapse (believe me, I’m in Italy and I know it better, EU is going to get stronger and stronger, I suppose under the french-german axis, planning a unified taxation, jurisdiction, and above all army, with which we are going into some war probably in Africa, so creating a new european ideology). Only issues with the Dude IMO is the idea that gold is going to disappear, and the fact he doesn’t believe in marxian theory of surplus value.

      • nekksys

        I’m at a loss here…

How is the EU going to get “stronger and stronger” when the ECB has been propping up the Italian government for so long? I’m not quite gathering what you mean. Could you be more precise please?

        • chris

What he means is the EU is going to go into full integration mode and form a Germanic-centred superstate which will try to carry on from where Hitler was forced to finish. Dissenters will not be tolerated!

          • nekksys

Thanks, Chris! Do you anticipate American patriots to be conscripted to help keep the peace over in Europe?

          • jsmith

“Germanic-centered superstate”? You’re kidding me. More like a bagel Rothschild controlled kosher oppression state with the 99% at the bottom as serfs!

        • orsobubu

It is as chris said. The ruling European class has the primary need to unify the market in all its aspects, and in fact we can define a capitalist nation as the geographical space in which there is a similar profit rate; Today, the various European states have different rates. Secondly, it needs the elimination of the violence that sweeped the continent for centuries; but in the capitalist system, where violence is structural, this is possible only exporting it to the outside. It is the European imperialism in competition with American, Chinese, Indian, Russian etc imperialisms. If this class succeeds in exercising this imperialism in a winning way, the subordinate class will not see its lifestyle worsen too much (to the detriment of the defeated imperialists), but if things go wrong, the only solution is to put an end to democracy and move to fascism, and this regime would be simpler to implement and maintain at continental level, as Hitler wanted, as chris remembers. I have studied the documents of the European Union well, and I guarantee that for many years to date many steps have been prefigured and planned with extreme precision to achieve a full integration. This goal is difficult and far away, and will see many obstacles, but it is their goal, and is vital to European capitalists, they will not allow anyone to destroy it. The United Europe was born with ten wars in its territory during the 1990s (about) and hundreds of thousands of deaths. His dissolution would signify a much worse disaster.

          • SoCalBeachDude

            Correct.

          • nekksys

Thanks, as well! I really appreciate your explanation.

      • Jerry C

You lost me at “Socaldude is generally correct”. ROFLMAO!

        • orsobubu

But I’m sure I learned from him. Show me an example of “utterly nonsense” by the dude and I will include it in my (personal) list of his errors.

          • Stuey

Well lets see. 1- he campaigned for Trump and was a big supporter, then after Trump was elected he became his biggest critic, now apparently he loves Trump again. 2-he has said on numerous occasions that the Federal Reserve doesn’t control interest rates, that the bond market does. Then today in the other article he post about how the Federal Reserve will be changing the interest rates today. But why would this be relevant if the Fed doesn’t control interest rates? 3- he has stated numerous times he is super rich and has lived his entire life on Trust Funds, that is funds with a “s” btw, he made a point to correct me on that previously. But yet he brags about buying old stale bread and doughnuts at cheap prices and how great Sears is for getting great deals. So once again, he is inconsistent, either he is one very tight ass billionaire or he is a poor bum. 4- He stated in last few days there is NO inflation in the USA then says prices on healthcare have risen tremendously but since that was due to price gouging it wasn’t considered inflation. Huh? Does it matter why prices go up, if they go up it is called inflation. —-These are just a few examples right off the top of my head he had stated in just the last week. If you go back over the last 6 months it is too numerous to mention and would take too much of my time.

          • orsobubu

Perhaps the Fed does change but has not the control. About Trump, I practice strategical abstentionism, so I sympathize with whoever has not a clear parliamentary position! Yes, about inflation, I does not agree too, I follow Williams’ Shadowstats, but I admit the deflationary forces are obscure and powerful and difficult to grasp and balance in this historical phase.

        • SoCalBeachDude

Please state specifically as to what you in any way disagree with as to my array of highly factually correct comments.

          • SoCalBeachDude

France is a lovely country and has far less violence in the entire country in a year than Chicago, Illinois does in a single week.

          • edwitness

But, Castiel is taliking about violence from terrorism. He’s referring to the violence being immigrated into France. And France has suffered more casualties (murders and injuries) from mass public shootings in 2015 than the US has suffered during the entire 8 years of Obama’s presidency. 532 in one year in France compared to 527 in 8 years under Obama. Note that these numbers don’t adjust for the fact that the US has 5 times the population of France. The per capita rate of casualties in France is thus 8.19 per million and for the US it is 1.65 — France’s per capita rate of casualties is thus 4.97 times higher than the rate in the US.

          • SoCalBeachDude

ALL VIOLENCE OF ANY KIND IS NOTHING BUT “TERRORISM” and attempting to split it up in categories is a fools errand.

          • CASTIEL

            Ferme la bouche connard!!!!!

          • Blankety-Blank

Just because he’s often wrong, you don’t have to be rude.

          • Blankety-Blank

Not so. If someone attacks me and I defend myself with violence, my violent self-defense is hardly terrorism. Furthermore, splitting violence into categories permits the reasonable person – certainly not government officials, but reasonable folks – to assess the differing sources of those violent actions and address those sources in ways appropriate… again, if we had reasonable government officials.

Sounds like it might have finally caught up with them.
They are going by a faulty banking system. It does not work long term even with unlimited backing from the government.
Our economic system is very wrong right now.
One third of your population might be retired on Social Security.
Social Security is funded from the general fund. Wasn’t always that way.
The government has borrowed from the general fund to finance wars.
The COLA has been manipulated to keep us from getting inflation raises.
That also is catching up with them. I do not consider a $6 raise per week a raise. Inflating prices are not kept up with.
Especially when it is Medicare that is going up in price.
The regular pensions are similar in that they are controlled by the things they are invested in. You will seldom if ever see an inflation raise there.
You have a huge increase in the people retiring. Where does the money come from?
People have had their jobs stolen right out from beneath them as work is subcontracted thanks to the Internet.
Mexico is one such place where the jobs go.
The pillars of the house of our economic system are going down one by one and it is getting harder to hide.
Look at the backing of getting elected President. Trump had backers.
Billionaire backers and the opposition of millionaire backers from the Democrats.
Your only chance is to change things and to change things now.
The Democrat opposition does not see this.
The result is going to be an inflationary depression like the world has never seen, even in 1920s Germany.
I cannot prove what I say here.
    Neither can Rogers or Mike.
If I were that wise I would be rich.
All we can do is sit back and watch it happen.

    • SoCalBeachDude

No, the result is going to be an INTENSIFICATION OF THE GLOBAL DEFLATIONARY SPIRAL which is exactly what has been going on for the past 8 years.

  • JC Teecher

Not gonna do it. Truth is the same and doesn’t change because it is watered down, to appease the liberal/worldly mindset.

Laughably false, and 77% of the world’s population of more than 7.5 billion people have no interest at all in your religion.

    • edwitness

Majority rules is your answer? I expected more from someone who fancies himself an authority on these subjects, as your “laughably false” statement implies.
The world was to be divided into 10 regions with Jerusalem as it’s capital. So said the Club of Rome in the late 60s. They have implemented their plan so that it looks roughly like this.
      1) North America
      2) Western Europe
      3) Japan
      4) Australia, South Africa, and the rest of the market-economy of the developed world.
      5) Eastern Europe, including Russia
      6) Latin America
      7) North Africa and the Middle East
      8) Tropical Africa
      9) South and Southeast Asia (Including India)
      10) China
And by making Jerusalem a stand alone city to be ready to be the world’s capital, no state dept. recognizes Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.
The monetary system that requires the mark with it’s three 6s the Bible describes is in place. And the political system with it’s 10 regions is too. All that is left is for the “man of sin” to take his place at the throne in Jerusalem with the appointment of the 10 kings of Rev.17.
You are set to see very soon just how wrong you really are. The world is ready for the AC. And from your comments, it appears that you are as well.

      • SoCalBeachDude

Jerusalem is just a tiny little town of no significance whatsoever in Palestine.

        • edwitness

The PTB do not agree with you. And neither does the god you serve.

          • SoCalBeachDude

Laughably false. Everybody agrees that Jerusalem is just a little old run down town rife with violence and turmoil in Palestine of no relevance whatsoever in today’s world.

      • GSOB

What if you are wrong? What if all that has been fulfilled?

    • GSOB

That story on the DM does not indicate that in any way they were having any sexual relations at all, does it? Many men prefer much younger women (including our President) and so do many women as to younger men. So what? What on earth business is that of yours?

Ethiopia, the world’s oldest Christian country, adhering to Christianity for more than a thousand years, is also the poorest country in the world. More than a thousand years of Christianity did not mitigate the awful poverty of its people and religion did not help raise their standard of living. Just a decade ago millions perished due to famine. The citizens of Ethiopia continue to remain ill-fed, ill-clothed and illiterate, steeped in poverty and disease. War and poverty still remain the dominant realities in Africa.

Christianity is understood in Africa to have come hand-in-hand with colonialism. Some missionaries ignored the message of God and grabbed resources including land from the people. Later, as black consciousness grew and African nationalists took arms against colonialists, some church leaders continued to support colonial rule.

“When the missionaries arrived, the Africans had the land and the missionaries had the Bible. They taught us to pray with our eyes closed. When we opened them, they had the land and we had the Bible.”

The Philippines, is perhaps the most staunch Christian ( today 83% of Philippinos are Christians) nation of Asia, remains among the most backward. Conversion to Christianity did not raise
      the country economically.

Sister Nirmala, Mother Teresa’s next in command has remarked: ” The poor should remain poor … Without them, we will lose our jobs.”

    • Carl

There is a popular notion among Christian missionaries that Christianity is a panacea for all the ills of the world, that it alone held the solution to all human problems, and therefore all should get converted to Christianity.

There appears to be a clear correlation between Christian population and the level of poverty of a nation. It looks like that the Christianity is keeping the people poor in the developing world. It can be said that the higher the percentage of Christians, higher is the percentage of the population below poverty line. An army of priests, nuns and other religious personnel of Christianity are literally have to be fed by the working class.

Google “Christian population and the percentage of population below the poverty line.” for more information and the truth.

Swami Vivekanada responded to a concerted attack on Hinduism by Christian Missionaries:

“We who had come from the east have sat here day after day and have been told in a patronizing way that we ought to accept Christianity because Christian nations are the most prosperous. We look about us and we see England the most prosperous Christian nation in the world, with her foot upon the neck of 250,000,000 Asiatics. We look back into history and see that the prosperity of Christian Europe begin with Spain. Spain’s prosperity began with the invasion of Mexico. Christianity wins its prosperity by cutting the throats of its fellow men. At such a price the Hindu will not have prosperity.”

“When someone suggested to him that Christianity was a saving power, he opened his great dark eyes upon him and said: “If Christianity is a saving power in itself, why has it not saved the Ethiopians, the Abyssinians?”

  • Stuey

He has no credibility already. His opinions change every week on a variety of topics.

Thanks for the info. He does seem to be all over the map. No credibility for sure.

“… Studies have shown that 50% of all people that claim to be Christian
have moved away from Bible principles and taken up with a worldly
    liberal acceptance ideology….”
