Those That Wanted To Get Prepared Have Already Gotten Prepared By Now

No Excuses Road Sign - Public DomainIs the time for warning people to prepare for what is ahead coming to an end?  For years, bold men and women all over America have been sounding the alarm and warning people to get prepared physically, financially, mentally, emotionally and spiritually for the great storm that is rapidly approaching.  Personally, I have written more than 2,500 articles on my primary two websites combined, and so nobody can accuse me of not blowing the trumpet.  It has gotten to the point that sometimes I am even tired of listening to myself warn the people.  But now we are shifting into a new phase.

The other day I was reflecting on some of the things that I have been hearing lately.  Sales of emergency food and supplies are way down across the entire industry.  Many organizations and websites that have been instrumental in sounding the alarm for a long time are really struggling right now.  On my websites, traffic has hit a bit of a plateau after experiencing a tremendous surge late last year.  Overall, “prepping” was very hot just a few years ago, and at one time it was estimated that there were approximately three million “preppers” in the United States.  But these days there seems to be a tremendous amount of apathy out there.

As I reflected on all of this, I came to one inescapable conclusion.

Those that wanted to get prepared have already gotten prepared by now, and those that did not want to get prepared are not likely to do so any time soon.

I personally know a lot of people that are very, very prepared and have been for a long time.  Yes, there is still a small minority of people out there that only recently woke up and started prepping, but overall most of the preparation that people wanted to do has already been completed.  And for those that have not done anything to prepare, you could argue with them until the moon turns to cheese and they still won’t take any action.

At this point the die has been cast.  Most of those that felt that they should prepare have already prepared.  Most of those that felt that they should repent have already repented.  Most of those that felt that they should warn America have already sounded the alarm.

So now all that is left is to wait for the shaking to begin.

In looking back at what has transpired over the last several years, I think that it would be appropriate to say something about the failure of the church in America.

You see, if the churches of America were doing their job, all of the “watchmen” out there would not even be needed.  Our voices would simply be lost in a chorus of thousands upon thousands of pastors, teachers, ministers and evangelists boldly warning people about what is coming to this nation.

But instead, there is just deafening silence coming from most of the mainstream churches.

The sad thing is that many, many church leaders understand very clearly what is coming, but they have purposely chosen not to warn the people.  Some time ago, George Barna conducted a study that looked into why our churches are not addressing the key issues of the day, and what he discovered was absolutely astounding

“‘What we’re finding is that when we ask them about all the key issues of the day, [90 percent of them are] telling us, ‘Yes, the Bible speaks to every one of these issues,” he explained. “Then we ask them: ‘Well, are you teaching your people what the Bible says about those issues?’ and the numbers drop…to less than 10 percent of pastors who say they will speak to it.”

Most churches in America don’t want to talk about the hard things, because they desperately want to make people feel comfortable.  They want to entertain people and make them happy so that they will come back week after week and drop their money into the offering plate.

When it comes to defining success as a church, Barna found that there were five primary factors that were important to the majority of pastors, and none of them had anything to do with repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ…

“There are five factors that the vast majority of pastors turn to,” he outlined. “Attendance, giving, number of programs, number of staff, and square footage.”

Sadly, most Christians in America actually prefer these lukewarm churches, and the Apostle Paul warned that these times were coming nearly 2000 years ago.  The following is what 2 Timothy 4:3-4 says in the Modern English Version

3 For the time will come when people will not endure sound doctrine, but they will gather to themselves teachers in accordance with their own desires, having itching ears, 4 and they will turn their ears away from the truth and turn to myths.

You may not want to hear this, but the majority of churches in America have already gone apostate, and that is the truth.

We are slowly but surely losing an entire generation of Americans, and yet our dead and dying churches just continue to slumber.  I shared the following numbers in a previous article, but they bear repeating.  The following comes directly out of a Pew Research Center report

Millennials – especially the youngest Millennials, who have entered adulthood since the first Landscape Study was conducted – are far less religious than their elders. For example, only 27% of Millennials say they attend religious services on a weekly basis, compared with 51% of adults in the Silent generation. Four-in-ten of the youngest Millennials say they pray every day, compared with six-in-ten Baby Boomers and two-thirds of members of the Silent generation. Only about half of Millennials say they believe in God with absolute certainty, compared with seven-in-ten Americans in the Silent and Baby Boom cohorts. And only about four-in-ten Millennials say religion is very important in their lives, compared with more than half in the older generational cohorts.

Those numbers are absolutely horrifying.  Yes, there are still a few really good churches scattered across the country.  But overall, the church in America is in really sorry shape, and the numbers don’t lie.  Christianity is in rapid decline in the United States, and somebody better wake up and start doing something about it.

Over the years, I can’t tell you how many dead churches that I have sat in.  That is why it is so refreshing when I actually find one where the gospel is preached and where people truly love one another.  I have had the privilege of sharing my message in such a church in recent months, and I wish that there were a lot more of them out there.

Unfortunately, most ministers in America are really busy doing things other than what they should be doing.  For instance, have you ever heard of “clergy response teams”?  If you can believe it, the government has actually recruited ministers to help the population accept martial law when it is declared someday.  The following comes from KSLA News

Could martial law ever become a reality in America?  Some fear any nuclear, biological or chemical attack on U.S. soil might trigger just that.  KSLA News 12 has discovered that the clergy would help the government with potentially their biggest problem: Us.

Can you believe that?

Here is more from the report…

Such clergy response teams would walk a tight-rope during martial law between the demands of the government on the one side, versus the wishes of the public on the other.  “In a lot of cases, these clergy would already be known in the neighborhoods in which they’re helping to diffuse that situation,” assured Sandy Davis.  He serves as the director of the Caddo-Bossier Office of Homeland Security and Emergency Preparedness.

For the clergy team, one of the biggest tools that they will have in helping calm the public down or to obey the law is the bible itself, specifically Romans 13.  Dr. Tuberville elaborated, “because the government’s established by the Lord, you know.  And, that’s what we believe in the Christian faith.  That’s what’s stated in the scripture.”

I don’t know about you, but I found that article to be extremely chilling.

But this is the state of things in America today.  We have a dead church that is stuffed to the gills with dead ministers, and the people are not being told the truth about the great shaking that is coming to America.

And when the great shaking comes, there will be multitudes of these dead churches and ministries that will go under and never rise again.

Meanwhile, God will be raising up a Remnant, and that Remnant is going to shake the world.

So what do you think about all of this?

Please feel free to share your thoughts by posting a comment below…

Excellent post Michael. Too true. Sometimes we forget that this life is not about flesh and blood alone, but also the eternal consequences in the spiritual realm. Much love Michael. Much love in Jesus Christ.

    • ali

If life is not about flesh and blood then why preach about prepping. If its your time to go then all the prepping will be useless. Yes do prepare for the after life by helping others as much as you can in whatever way possible.

      • lovemore

I feel that as a dad I have certain responsibilities. Just as my Father in heaven provides for me, it is in my responsibility to be sure my children have enough to eat. I recently told my six year old Santa Claus is fake and Jesus is real. Baby steps. I don’t think it is foolish to prepare, within reason. I said, “it is not about flesh and blood ALONE.” I agree it is sad to be selling dry food to ignorant sheep. Everyone is responsible for their own choices and their own research. That is why I’m not a salesperson, just don’t have the heart for it.

  • Bob332

Michael you are spot on. I always said …” the further away the people of this country ( and the world) remove themselves from God, the further away God WILL remove His mantle of protection”. He gave ALL of us a free will to choose between Him and evil. Now your seeing the results in living color!

  • BS1986

Americas decline will be a brutal one.

    • Indubitably

    • Jack Frost

You speak in future tense. The decline is in progress. The end will be brutal, be it by economic collapse or an EMP event. Think of it as the modern day equivalent of Noah’s flood. The prepared will survive and repopulate the world.

      • BS1986

        I hope.

  • Joe Trevors

I believe in the remnant as you describe it. Another expression of the same idea is that of the final Order or community of Christians called the Order of the Holy Spirit. These are the End Times saints from all of the different bodies of Christ throughout the world. These brave knights for the Lord will do battle with the Antichrist forces fearlessly, & be miraculously protected from harm during the time of their ministry. Also, there are the Two Witnesses who will arrive after the Antichrist reveals himself? Is this your understanding? This Antichrist will be frightening! I think we are seeing now the Kings & Presidents doing the will of the Antichrist who is still behind the scenes.. They are already making war on the saints, as we witness occurring, as in Syria.

    • william iles

Joe, The antichrist is not presently on the scene. Quite frankly, he’s years (but not a lifetime away). Read the book of Revelation, asking the Lord to lead you into the truth about the end-time scenario. There is a Great Logic and Order to the end-time events. We are presently living in the ages of the 5th and 6th seals. (the seals are NOT judgments-they are eras highlighting major “moves’ within the eras). Every event written in this book -starting with the 5th seal through the 6th trumpet must be manifested before the AC comes to power. With all the catastrophic events to occur you would be “lucky” to live long enough to see it. We have plenty of things for which we should be gearing ourselves up for in the near future, namely these interim events- along with others mentioned in Isaiah Chapters 13 and 14 and Jeremiah 50 and 51. Just keep on “watching” and praying. God through His Good Shepherd, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit will continue to guide and lead you. Just take some time daily to spend with our Lord, quite your heart, and share with Him your cares and concerns. He will bless you and keep you and impart His peace, and wisdom, and grace unto you. In the love of Christ Jesus, Bill iles

      • whatdoyouknow

Do you have a hotline to Satan? Pun intended. How do you know Satan is years away. How can you be so sure?

        • william iles

Read your Bible. Satan does not appear until the 3rd “woe”, the sounding of the 7th trumpet. All the events prophesied prior to the 7th trumpet must first take place. It will probably take a “generation”, 40 years or so to get from where we are today to the end. (see the words written in the 5th seal). However, Satan is obviously busy working on planet Earth today; he just will not be manifested in the flesh until the antichrist appears on the scene. (the last 3.5 years in this age.

      • Frank Barrera

Sorry to disagree with your timeline. You can’t have the 5th or 6th Seal without the first 4 Seals. They occur in chronological order. 7 Seals – 7 Trumpets, then 7 Vials, all in order. The 1st Seal is the rider on the White Horse – the Antichrist! He’s in the wings getting ready to make his move onto the world stage. The Rapture has to occur before any of this will start. True Christians will never realize the real antichrist, if you do, you’ve been “left behind.”

        • william iles

Frank, I believe that you are absolutely correct in the chronological order of the seals, trumpets, and vials. Where you have been taught amiss however is in the statement that the rider on the white horse is the antichrist. How do you come to that conclusion? Where is that stated anywhere in the Bible? There are only 2 references in the Bible about someone riding on a white horse; one is Jesus and the other are His “saints”, and both of these references are in the book of Revelation. This is a false and audacious teaching. Moreover, if one is honest about what the Book is saying, especially about events, sequences, and timelines, how could anyone think that all this is going to happen in a 3.5 or 7 year timeframe. If you really want to know the truth about the “rapture”, read Michel’s book -The Rapture Verdict’ right on and excellent.

          • JC Teecher

            Easy now.
            Read Rev. 6 with understanding.
The seals here are not given in Chronological order; they are given in the order of “importance”.

During the tribulation hour, nothing is more important than the arrival of Antichrist/Satan. That is why he is shown arriving on His “fake” white horse and his fake prism of light/spectrum of colors/rainbow. Not a bow, as in bow and arrows, as is taught by the ignorant.
That is why his arrival is listed first in this chapter.

        • william iles

Hey Frank, just a couple more pertinent thoughts on this matter. #1- The rider on the white horse must have to do with the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ going out throughout the world, Him being crowned King of Kings, equipped to battle but with nothing deadly (no arrows). The next three riders appear to be closer to the end of time, probably as movements that are against Jesus Christ and His Word. I would say that the “red” would be socialism/ communism; the “black” would be fascism/capitalism, and the “pale” being Islam. The events in the 4th seal, the rider on the pale horse, and the 5th seal-the martyrdom of the saints, look like what is going on today. Beyond that the blood moons and eclipses of the sun, several of which came to pass last year, are part of the required criteria for for the events of the 6th seal. The good news in all these arguments is that for all who are watching we will know exactly where we are in the time line and the events chain when we all have to head to the mountains and the dens etc to “hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb”. (Rev 6:16)

The sixth trump has not been sounded.

truly amazing how much time you people can argue over Bible verses.
gee, couldn’t “god” make it clear???

guess not, since slave owners were able to use the Bible to justify slavery

          • JC Teecher

Apparently, you have nothing better to do than mock and accuse. I ask the Lord to send some help your way, hopefully it will open your eyes.

            try thinking for yourself

          • Jerry C

Jesus Christ never owned a slave and made it clear to do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Unfortunately, man is reprobate so God had to create laws to protect the innocents. In addition, it was customary during those times to offer yourself as a slave including all your labor to pay off a debt. God also required the master to consider the slave as part of the family. You. Are. Clueless.

          • GV

try thinking for yourself, Southern Christians used the Bible to justify slavery.
sooooooo many people have used the Bible for evil, sorry if your word of “god” couldn’t be clearer, but what do you expect from a book written by men

    • JC Teecher

Problem Joe; the Antichrist cannot be frightening if he is able to cause the whole world to “whore after him”.

he is peaceful, comes in prosperously and will be so religious it will make peoples heads spin. There will be revivals and tent revivals across the world because all the church buildings can’t hold all that want to be a part of the ‘new’ age religion.
Even the LGBT community will follow suit. WHAT! Yes, I have had the same question about how that could even be possible. Well, it is possible and will happen by delusion. I was just recently given this revelation, but i can’t share it until the Lord releases it to be shared.
it is was so amazing to me i am still reeling, but it is truth and makes perfect sense.
Yes, even the epitome of homo haters, muslims, will conform to this “new age/one world religion”. Amazing, and it has all been foretold for those with eyes to see and ears to hear.

      • GV

“…I was just recently given this revelation, but i can’t share it until the Lord releases it to be shared….”

Michael this is a worldwide problem and I speak for what I see in NZ surrounded by apathy , luke warmness and agree that the remnant will rise, it’s waiting in the wings , loose free range Christians disillusioned with the establishment of the church and its programs and devoid of the freedom of the Holy Spirit and His love . it’s sad to see this but we are down -under expectant of judgement to reach us as well and we have been preparing the best way we can for the times ahead that are going to shake everything ! Shalom

  • mtntrek3

My family and I still prep as we can, of course financial restraints get in the way at times. Water, food, ammo for the firearms, disinfectants, hygienic items, etc. We’ve got an underground shelter we managed to put together the last three years. Thankful for all of it. Considering churches around the country, we’ve seen some around here grow into megachurches. The one we used to attend grew into several satellite churches in the area. ………. However, it seemed to my wife and I it became more of a corporation, rather than a church. As Michael pointed out in his article, the main focus was more programs (in other words, it became more of a social venue that left God out often times), and where to build our next satellite church. They even started putting coffee shops and restaurants in these churches. Anyway, after some time and some issues w/ the Pastor and a few others, my wife left a few months after I did. Sadly, even we as Christians can fail to get along. We still pray for them and others of course , as I hope they remember us in their prayers. …………. The great shaking that’s to come as Michael puts it, I see more unrest coming locally and worldwide. I think it will culminate w/ the next world war(sixth trumpet war). It could come in the next six months, or maybe not for the next six years. I don’t believe it is very distant in the future however. The powers that be in this world need more calamity and distress in the world to help usher in the antichrist. My family and I put our hope in God through Christ. I hope everyone else will also.

    • Jesushelpme

The church is Jesus Christ in me. Not a corporate gathering to buy nice sound equipment and put on concerts. I agree with you. Tithe has become a stumbling block for me. I see tithe going towards selfish pursuits rather than helping children and widows in my community. Nobody is perfect, but I would hate to be a pastor in these end times. I wouldn’t want the responsibility of people’s eternal life on my hands. Thank you for your story. I’m sure many of us are sick and tired of being lied to and treated like dumb sheep. I mean, can I at least get a real unadulterated copy of the Bible? All angles. Satan hits us from all angles. Rant over.

      • mtntrek3

Yes, there are many things going on in the church in America. Not all are good however. To me many churches are becoming nothing more than businesses, and big ones at that. Nothing wrong w/that in itself, but the focus seems to get lost in the process often times. The focus on God gets left behind after awhile. My wife and I left the church I mentioned because of clicks among people and the isolation that resulted among some other things. It was not only us, but several others parted ways w/ that church also. Micro-managing was vey pronounced in this church as well. One could say politics/favoritism became quite prevalent. It’s sad , but it happens. We as Christians aren’t perfect, starting w/me. All the while, we are held to a higher standard…….and it hurts me to see these kinds of things happen. Yes we as Christians are the church, not a building as some may see it…… and yes Satan is dividing us as he can. When we assemble ourselves together, It is to be a unifying experience to help encourage one another and to learn more about God and give God praise….. not just another meeting where God is generally left out and not all are included/accepted. Not good. I need prayer from others (please) and help from God, as we all do. ………. I hear you. Take care and God Bless you. 🙂 Chris.

Sadly; unless you are fluent in Greek, Aramaic/Chaldee, and Hebrew, and can get access to the earliest sets of manuscripts, you are in the same boat as the rest of us.

I have heard many preachers say that the KJV is a perfect book. wrong!, It is based on the perfect Word from God, the Father, but perfect it is not.
        One good example is:
        Luk 14:26
“If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.”

By one definition in the Strongs, this should have been translated to read….”love less”.
Which makes sense that the Lord wants/expects, our love for Him to be the strongest above all else. Which, in another way means we love truth and light, and the Givers of it, above all else, even our earthly relatives.
Our earthly relatives can/may, lead us down the wrong path, but; our Heavenly Father and Saviour never will.

Mis-translations are many, but it is better than trying to read through the earliest 1611, original translation using old english.
I have a copy for reference and other reasons.
I use many sources, but primarily the Strong’s Concordance and the Companion Bible, and the Smith’s Bible Dictionary, all with guidance from the Holy Spirit.

I have found too many changes, that have distorted the original meaning in the later translations to the KJV such as the Living Bibles and others. These Living and New Living Bibles are not a problem for the average reader and student, but they show proof of distortion of the Word. some translations that are called Bibles, should be called junk.

        • Mike Smithy

          You raise a very interesting point. For many years I have been troubled with the following biblical passage which seems inconsistent with other passages;

In Matthew 8:21, Jesus is speaking to one of his disciples. The disciple expresses his heartfelt interest in doing so, but expresses his immediate compulsion to return home for a short period to bury his dead father. Jesus responds by saying “Follow me and let the dead bury their own dead”. Is it just me or does this sound overly callous and runs contrary to the commandment of “Honor your Mother and Father”. Not taking the time to bury ones dead father sounds very dishonorable pursuant to the issue of respect.

          • Troy in Saskatchewan

Yeshua was on the earth…the time was short…and the purpose specific…with ETERNAL ramifications… I think the point was following Yeshua in that time and in that way was necessary…more important than anything else…even burying one’s dad.

          • SunShine

Hi Troy in SK. What fellowship are you connected with? Shalom aleichem.

          • SunShine

In those days, the bodies were placed in a tomb. A funeral would already taken place. Here’s the icky part. After the flesh etc. had rotted off the bones, it was then that the body was put in an ossuary. The process of decomposition could take a year or more. So when Yeshua/Jesus said what He said, He was not asking the man to dishonour his father, but that he was having a hard time letting go of his family and probably did not want to rock the boat. The rest of his family (the spiritually dead) could still bury their dead, and the man would have already met his obligation, although I am certain his family would not understand. This is still relevant for today. How many of us still want to please our families instead of our Master?

          • watchmannonthewall

I’d like to pass on what I’ve been taught about this situation in church, but also I have worked with both Greeks and Arabs and we had discussions about the role of the first born sons within the family, so I think what I learned in church may well apply to this. Americans can’t identify with “the old World” customs.

The first born son had a duty to care for his parents as they aged. The man’s request was that he be allowed to honor His father until and when he died, not that he was dead already and was requesting Yeshua to allow him to go and bury his father at that specific moment. It could have been years before he woud have buried his father. Yeshua was saying it is time to follow Me, now!
This sort of goes with the thread above about “hate”. In Hebrew thought, hate is actually a choice one makes when one chooses one thing over another. In Greek thought, hate is an emotion. God, even though scripture says “Jacob have I loved and Esau have I hated”, did not “hate” Esau with an emotional feeling. He simply “chose” Jacob and therefore by implication “hated” Esau by not choosing him.
This is one of the problems with taking things back into the Greek instead of to Hebrew. One is more of a rational language with lots of emotion shown in everyday life, while the other is an emotional language with lots of rational being shown outwardly.
We understand scripture better when we understand the culture of the writers of the Book.

          • STIXIE

Mike, Jesus is telling the apostle, and us, that the Preaching work is of the utmost importance. His father is dead; he cannot help him any further. [Salvation comes to those [the living] who know the Scriptures and accept the Christ]. Read Matthew 24:14.

This is why Jehovah’s Witnesses go door to door. Jehovah does not wish for anyone to perish. It is not enough to save our selves, but to try and save those around us -hence the Parable of the Talents [Matthew 25.14].

In Jewish tradition the eldest son had the responsibility to attend to the details of a Father’s funeral because he was next in line in regards to authority and wealth. So in that aspect we see a hidden meaning.

The man was the eldest son and was going to receive a great inheritance. It was not that the Yeshua (Jesus) was calloused but rather using a teaching technique that used extremes to express a point (something most American Christians are not familiar with); Yeshua used this technique to highlight the man’s greed despite his claim in wanting to follow Him. Notice there was no further discourse about this matter – this shows the man just wanted to misuse Yeshua’s authority as a Rabbi to justify his greed.

This perspective brings some new insight to this passage.

so much for the unchanging word of “god”

        • Mondobeyondo

The KJV is the most accurate Bible, in my opinion. No, it is not a perfect translation. But it is better than the myriad of modern versions. There ARE differences. Major differences. If you don’t think so, look up Acts 8:37 in any of the modern Bible versions (NIV, ESV, etc.)

          • sistersoldier

The Bible or more pointedly “scriptures” were inspired by God. God did not “breathe into” (inspire) all Scripture, but it was “breathed out” by God (expired). 2 Timothy 3:16 is not about how the Bible came to us but where it came from. The Scriptures are
“God-breathed.” The entire doctrine hangs on the commandment of love, the plan of salvation and that believers adhere to the fact that in the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God and the Word was God. Calling into question the validity of the sacred doctrine of grace allows a disadvantage for scorners to fuel the fires of disbelief.

To know how the Bible came to us can be found in 2 Peter 1:21 where we read that “holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit.” The writers of the Bible were human and yes their humanity is certainly evident because as Paul said, “And I know that this man, whether in the body or out of it I do not know, but God knows who was caught up into Paradise. The things he heard were too sacred for words, things that man is not permitted to tell” . I believe that we received scripture in the present translations because if God Himself were to speak we would not understand it. Therefore, God must have chosen to use the human mind as a filter. The Holy Spirit carried them along in their thinking so that only His God-breathed words were recorded.

The Bible is inspired by God and it is His “breathed out” holy Word, and the Holy Spirit guided the writers. The Bible has one Author and yet many writers which I believe is in order to appeal to every degree of human intellect.

The KJV is not the most accurate bible – they changed the names of people, made up words, changed definitions (versus the Hebrew) and much more.

I’m not saying its a bad translation but its not the most accurate. Checkout the book The Great Ecclesiastical Conspiracy and it will be a good place to start examining the errors of the KJV (BTW I used to be a KJV only until I started doing more word studies and compared the KJV with the Hebrew and Greek).

Here are some things to think about when we look at the KJV…

            1. Why do KJV only advocates reject the apocrypha, since the original 1611 version contained the apocrypha? If the KJV translators were inspired, why did they use a marginal reference to the apocrypha.?

            2. When there is a difference between the KJV English and the Greek, why do you believe that the Greek was wrong and the KJV English is correct?

3.Which KJV is inspired, since it was revised four times, the last being in 1769?

            4. If the KJV is error free in the English, then why did they fail to correctly distinguish between “Devil and Demons” (Mt 4:1-DIABOLOS and Jn 13:2-DAIMONIZOMAI) ; “hades and hell” (see Lk 16:23-HADES and Mt 5:22-GEENNA; Note: Hades is distinct from hell because hades is thrown into hell after judgement: Rev 20:14)?

            5. Why would KJV translators render Gen 15:6 which is quoted in identical Greek form by Paul in Rom 4:3, 9, 22; Gal 3:6, in FOUR DIFFERENT WAYS?

            6. Why is the the Holy Spirit an “it” according to John 1:32; Romans 8:16, 26; and 1 Peter 1:11 in the KJV when we know the Holy Spirit is referenced as “He” in John 14:26 by Yeshua/Jesus?

            7. Why did the translators us “Easter” (a pagan festival) in Acts 12:4 when the Greek is its actually the “Passover”? Easter in the KJV but in the Greek is G3957 πάσχα pascha which is defined as the Jewish Passover?

            8. Why does the KJV have so many different translations of the same Greek phrases? Rom 4:3, 9, 22; Gal 3:6 Quotes Gen 15:6 yet the KJV translates identical Greek phrases differently in each NT verse. Rom 12:19, Heb 10:30 quotes Deut 32:35 yet the KJV translates identical Greek phrases differently in each NT verse. Heb 3:11; 4:3 quotes Ps 95:11 yet the KJV translates identical Greek phrases differently in each NT verse.

Something to think about. With that said I use the KJV, the NKJV, the Jewish Tanach, Young’s literal, the Amplified bible, and others when I study (word for word, thought for thought, etc). I also check the definitions in the Hebrew and Greek too. The key is to examine and test all scripture.

Also ask yourself the question “Do you transliterate the names of people from foreign countries?”

Of course not. So why do we do it with the bible?

All I care about are the words in red.

          • JC Teecher

good words to live by. Many of my friends are only interested in salvation scripture and the things it pertains to. Anything deeper than the same ole repetitive lines alluding to salvation is all they want, or can handle. God says they are as suckling babes and are never going beyond drinking milk. Never really caring to get into the meat of His Word.

I don’t offer anything to them other than what they want to discuss. I don’t push/proselytize to anyone that isn’t interested in learning more or especially to anyone that doesn’t have the ability to grasp anymore.

That is the beauty of a site like this, everyone has the option to scroll past my moniker and avatar and keep on trucking.

          • watchmannonthewall

Great comment! I could not agree more! Put it out there and see who picks it up. Like mind joins with like mind!

          • JC Teecher

Thanks for the kind words. You hit the nail on the head. Like minds in Christ are equally yoked and find common threads and are based on the common foundation of the solid rock of Jesus Christ.

We try to get through to others that are not mature enough in the spirit, but it is a tough row to hoe.

            God bless.

          • watchmannonthewall

Take the words in red and go back into the OT and find out what and whom He was referencing. Everything He said is found in the OT! The Jews only study the OT and the Christians only study the NT. Both will be accountable to the exact same instructions as God has only one standard.

          • STIXIE

As a Jehovah’s Witness [yes we are Christians] we read both the OT and NT. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, the Essence of God and has the Full Authority of God but, our God is the God of Abraham, JEHOVAH/YAHWEH.

The OT and NT are the left & right hemispheres of the brain, or the left & right ventricles of the heart. One cannot function without the other.

I personally own the KJV, NIV, New World Translation, etc. copy of the Scriptures. [Yes, the Bible has different interpretations; but the most important disclosure is that God’s name [the Tetragrammaton] YHWH/YHVH has been removed]!

READ the scriptures front to back! We keep good company with Sir Isaac Newton [a theologian 1st/a scientist 2nd] who also did not believe in the Trinity.

And yes, Michael is correct! We must prepare for the Great Tribulation… any Rapture will be afterwards. Until then, preach the Good News, for this Wicked World is coming to an end!

        • Mark

Hi teecher, So sad that you get your doctrine from Strong’s. That book has done great damage to the Church. God promised to preserve His very words in many scriptures. Then He did what He promised in your KJV. You need to learn to believe and trust in God more than Strong. Hate is the precise word that God intended in that verse. It is meant as a comparative to show the required height to your love for God in comparison to your love for anyone else. It is simple-mindedness to read it any other way. It is merely a literary device that that anyone with an overall understanding of the Bible should recognize immediately.

          • JC Teecher

Then, “simple-mindedness” it is. You have a “strong’ desire to prove yourself right and me wrong. Hope you get results with that.

The tithe isn’t about you. It’s about trusting God. It’s not your business what others do with your tithe. The tithe isn’t yours it’s Gods. So keep giving, because to obey is better than sacrifice. Do the word, not just hear it.

        • Jesushelpme

Right. I would argue that tithe is giving back to God. Not necessarily a required monetary donation. How are unbelievers supposed to come to get the free gift of Jesus Christ when most churches act as if Jesus is available at the low price of ten percent of your income. I give to whom God tells me, not self-righteous businesses disguised as the church.

Enjoyed reading your words of wisdom, mtntrk3.

On the church thing, we to decided, many years ago, we could spend our time more wisely, by learning the truth at home and via the Holy Spirit.

Occasionally we go to a gathering place in our area where one of our favorite Preacher/Teachers comes to once in a while, and was instrumental in setting up. He is an International Preacher and has thus far convinced me that he is locked in so tight with the Spiritual realm that he has annual visitations from angels and hears the voice of God, more clearly than most. he lives near us and as I, is connected to the evidence there is a dimensional portal in our shared mountain sky. His books are a testament and witness to many of his visitations. His name is Bobby Conner. He has been preaching for nearly fifty years, and it shows. Truly an inspiration. When we shook hands for the first time, I felt a warm regenerative charge from his presence as it was filled with the Holy Spirit.

      • mtntrek3

Hey there JC Teecher. You speak of home settings for assembling ourselves together….. I believe that is where most Christian gatherings are going to be in the near future. That is where many are happening more often nowadays. My wife and I haven’t heard of Bobby Conner….. we’ll look him up. Anyway…….. my wife and I have attended some home meetings and have had some here at our place. Everything seems so much more personal and relaxed. “Where two or three are gathered together in My name, there I will be in the midst of them”. God’s good. 🙂 Past my bedtime. God Bless. Chris.

        • Jacynthia Read

Dr. J Vernon McGee said the Church began in the home and would go out in the home. I rode the Bible Bus for many years and am grateful to Dr. McGee. The Holy Spirit used him to grow me in the Word.

          • mtntrek3

Yep, I think so. More of these churches out here becoming businesses of man rather than of God.

          • JC Teecher

I used to hear him on the radio on Sunday mornings, while driving. He had a unique way of teaching and his voice was captivating. Once you heard him and his name, there was never any mistaking who he was.

        • watchmannonthewall

More and more of us have become disillusioned with “the Church”. Amazing how God has indeed pulled his sheep from one congregation and another and put them in a place where they can study scripture deeply instead of so superficially.
Jeremiah said He would take one of a city and two of a family and bring them to Zion! I don’t see that as being related to “the Church” and especially “the Mega-Church.” For those who really want to know the God of Scripture, home fellowships is the way to go. Just be aware there are many that start off right but lose their way, so always be vigilant. If you have to leave, do it with grace.

The dropoff in prepping is for two reasons. Lack of space, lack of money. With most being in the second group. As to the Church. When a minister tells you, he sees no growth in evil. It is just the same as it was 40 years ago. And things are just going on, as they always have. Not much more, you can say to such a person.

    • NM Patriot

I think you are right on the point about lack of money. Many people, even people who saw it coming are struggling for economic survival.

      • loadnup

Yup, it’s the ole inflation thing taking hold…. my income has risen slightly over the past couple years but my/our ability to put up a significant amount more in the way of stores just isn’t there…
Frankly speaking, it is my firm belief if it were not for the money spent by the preppers over the past 7 or eight years there would be no improvement in any retail section at all. we, the awake have kept the ball rolling at least slowly but as we all can see from the economic blogs that ball is stalling fast as it drops off the edge of the cliff…. pray, prep and protect…

Here’s something the Lord showed me many years ago while camping and watching some ants. Watched for 2 hours. Yes, I was bored…lol.
    Pr. 6:6 (KJV)
Go to the ant, thou sluggard; consider her ways, and be wise:

    Pr. 30:25 (NIV)
    Ants are creatures of little strength, yet they store up their food in the summer;

Store up the best you can. And if you can’t…Mt. 6:31-33
“Do not worry then, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear for clothing?” “For the Gentiles eagerly seek all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.
“But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” End of my “ant” story. Love and peace to all. 🙂

I can’t urge you enough to follow Endtime Ministries by Irvin Baxter for endtiime teaching. I am blessed to attend a church that is alive and growing. I am new to prepping. I keep about three weeks of food on hand at any given time. I have not been able to prepare at the level of other people. I don’t own a home. I rent. That puts limitations on what I can and can not do in this home. I believe God will take care of those that faithfully serve him. I also believe in doing what you can on your own. If you have the means to store up three years of food, please do so. If you can only store up three weeks, do it. Above all, Watch and pray. Watch and pray.

    • JC Teecher

Have all of Baxter’s works on video. Learned some good stuff, but not all of Baxter’s teachings are on the money.
His latest teachings towards the Nation of Israel is, in my opinion, off the mark. There is much more good, than wrong, in his works, and he got my attention when he came to the realization that a pre-trib rapture was a wrong teaching by establishment religionists.

      • Tim

I agree that some of Baxter’s eschatological views are unbiblical.

    • Paul Benson

Baxter is pretty sound on most endtime teaching. He helped me realize the error of putting the seals, trumpets, and vials in chronological order. They all end at the same point; the Second Coming. This is a vital understanding to properly comprehend the book of Revelation.

I have written two books and many articles on the end-time events, and refuting the pre-trib theory. I invite you to check out my work.

      Paul Benson

    • Irvin Baxter’s teachings have some problems. Most can agree that the judgment patterns, signs and typological events have repeated through recent history but these are as warnings of the coming actual fulfillment of prophecy in Revelation. This happens over a final 7 year period. Revelation itself indicates two 3 1/2 year periods and this is Daniel’s 70th week from Daniel 9:24-27. Most end time eschatologists show Baxter’s theories are errant as far as timing and fulfillment of actual judgments in Revelation having already taken place.

God is “merely” fulfilling His promises, three of them specifically, in Romans 1:24, 26 and 28 because individual believers are satisfying the three sets of conditions. God’s promises, both good ones and bad ones, have conditions in order for them to be fulfilled. Sadly, most believers and especially pastors think Paul is talking about unbelievers only in chapter 1. He is NOT. Read chapter 2 verse 1 for proof that Paul is talking TO and ABOUT believers, Christians, those who have accepted Christ as Savior and he is NOT talking to unbelievers.

So, what does God want believers to do? Evangelize and witness? NO. He wants believers to have fellowship with God and produce fruit per Galatians 5:22-23. He wants believers to DO Romans 12:1-2. Evangelism and witnessing are wonderful things but it’s end all and be all now for the “gospel preaching” Christian church. It’s not, never has been and sadly, the church takes Matthew 28 and Acts 1 WAY out of context to justify witnessing, evangelism and “making disciples” as the number one goal in the Christian way of life.

Before believers light their hair on fire and claim I’m a blasphemer, please READ in context the last epistle to the set apart ones in Revelation 2 and 3, written BY the Lord Jesus Himself and addressed to the churches, the set apart ones, BELIEVERS, NOT unbelievers and ask yourself, if witnessing, evangelism and disciple making were THE number one goal of the churches, the body of set apart ones, why is there not ONE scintilla, not one mention of it by the Lord to the churches, both faithful, unfaithful and in between bodies of set apart ones? Because FELLOWSHIP with God IS. THAT is what is not being preached or taught today and THAT is why the three promises in Romans 1 are being fulfilled. The rest of Romans makes that clear and it is so misunderstood and so ignored by believers.

So yes Michael, the leadership in churches is failing but the answer isn’t to preach the gospel to the world. Personal fellowship (if you’re a believer, you already have relationship with God) with God, fruit of the Spirit production per Galatians 5 is what needs to be taught and exercised.

    • df NJ

Yeah, all the non-believers are scum and deserve to suffer horrible deaths. This is what Jesus wants. Jesus loves war, death, and killing of the non-believes. Eff the heathens. Our loving God wants 6 billion people to DIE, DIE, DIE!!! GOD OF DEATH IS COMING!!!

      • No, no, df. He wishes for all to come to repentance and is patient and longsuffering on their behalf; but He can only let unbelief, heathen apostasy, violence, hatred, bloodshed, willful sin and disobedience continue for so long without judging it.

      • larrythelogger

Show me in Scripture where that claim is made by Jesus for unbelievers to suffer horrible deaths and how in the world did you think that’s what I insinuated?

so again, before you start whining about “choice” there have been 100s of millions of people on this planet who died never having heard of Jesus

          • larrythelogger

I’ll address your last point first. Romans 1:18-22; God has revealed Himself in nature. John 16:8: God convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment. I take what God says seriously and whether you do or not is your decision. God reveals Himself to everyone. If at the time of consciousness of realizing that there are some things bigger than you, you decide not to pursue wanting to know who this “bigger” thing is, God is NOT going to shove Himself down your throat. He didn’t make robots. He made us with a free will volition with the autonomous ability, He created and respects, that can say yes or no to Him. So, those hundreds of millions who died never wanted to know Jesus in the first place.

First point; if you don’t want to be present with God in eternity or now, He will oblige you. You will get your wish. The lake of fire was never mentioned any place in Scripture until Revelation. “Eternity in hell” was NEVER taught anywhere in Scripture. Separation from the source of life for rejecting the deliverance from sin He provides, yes.

I believe God is merciful and He has demonstrated that EVERYWHERE in Scripture especially long before judgment. I think God, who is life, will simply be unplugged, be unavailable and an unbeliever will cease to exist. Separating you from God IS just. Would it be any less torturous to force you into His presence against your will for eternity?

And by the way, you DO NOT die for your own sins if you reject Christ as Savior. He did that. You are separated from God for eternity for rejecting that salvation because it’s what YOU choose.

You might want to redirect the beef you apparently have with what you observe in modern Christianity, which is understandable, and direct it toward God Himself. Ask Him and if you’re not kidding, He’ll let you know.

          • GV

gee, evan Thomas got to see actual PROOF.

so again, a good non-believer goes to he ll for eternity, interesting concept of “justice”

but then what do you expect from a “god” who ordered the murder of children and babies

          • larrythelogger

Lots of people saw actual proof right before their eyes and still turned their back on God and they were believers. Their lack of faith won’t mean eternal separation. It means lack of rewards after death. Those passages that speak of “weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth” are NOT speaking about unbelievers at all. In Luke, Jesus is talking about believers in God who choose to be unfaithful and ignore the opportunity for fellowship with God in this life. They will be, in comparison to faithful believers, miserable in eternity due to lack of reward and lack of inheritance and will NOT be in “hell.” Again, the ONLY biblical reference to eternity in the lake of fire is in Revelation 20 and nowhere else in the Bible. In a careful reading of that passage AND using God’s pattern throughout the Bible, unbelievers will be separated from God in eternity, something they chose and would choose even if right now God ripped open the fabric of the universe (like He did hundreds of times throughout the Old Testament and Jesus did for over three years and the apostles did for several years), they would still reject God’s deliverance from sin. God will give them their wish, however, it means separation from life and thereby the end of existence.

The issue of “good” based on some set of human standards argued from he beginning of time, is not and never has been the standard for going to “heaven”. In terms of where you spend eternity has absolutely NOTHING to do with “good” or “bad.” It has to do with faith in the deliverance from sin God provided through the death, burial and resurrection of His Son, period. After people believe in Christ they still have the exact same nature they had before. The only difference is their one time belief in Christ through faith.

Your ignorance of Scripture with respect to God’s using Israel ONCE in history to judge the people who occupied the land is typical, not only from an atheist (I presume you are) AND 99 percent of Christians bereft of biblical knowledge. For hundreds of years, God warned all the “ites” occupying the promised land AND provided the means to deliver them as well from their evil. At the “game over” point, God used Israel as a one off to judge those people and their evil; people who threw their children into metal ovens and burned them, having sexual orgies as their children screamed. Joshua even wrote to them on cliffs exactly what God was going to do and exactly what to do to prevent judgment. Only a few “ites” like Rahab and the people in Gibea broke the code by FAITH and the demonstration of faith and were spared. Yes, God ordered the punishment of all the “ites” in the land and used the Jews at the end of their forty years in the wilderness to perform His judgment. Those “ites” were warned by God for centuries that if they continued, they would be judged. And if you read the Old Testament, you’ll find that Israel failed at fulfilling that command. It’s easy for you to be sensational when you ignore context.

          • GV

jeez, judging from the length of your post you desperately need to get a hobby.

“…God ripped open the fabric of the universe (like He did hundreds of times throughout the Old Testament and Jesus did for over three years and the apostles did for several years)….”

care to explain all this ripping of the fabric of the universe, sounds like some bad sci fi novel

“…they would still reject God’s deliverance from sin. God will give them their wish, however, it means separation from life and thereby the end of existence….”

            again, interesting concept of “justice”

“…In terms of where you spend eternity has absolutely NOTHING to do with “good” or “bad.” It has to do with faith in the deliverance from sin God provided through the death, burial and resurrection of His Son, period….”

so explain what happened to the 100s of MILLIONS of people who died in the past who never heard of Jesus.

explain what will happen to the 100s of MILLIONS of people who will die in the future who never heard of Jesus

“…Your ignorance of Scripture with respect to God’s using Israel ONCE in history to judge the people who occupied the land is typical….”

oh gee, your “god” ordered the murder of children and babies ONLY ONCE.
and gee, why didn’t your “god” order the Israelites to adopt those children and babies?

and finally why does your “god” NEVER answer the prayers of amputees?
try thinking for yourself, for once in your life

          • larrythelogger

The length of my post has context and content that you ignore. I explained the hundreds of millions of people already yet you have to return to it as if repeating the same question and ignoring my answer makes your question more valid. I explained why God commanded the killing of the Amorites et al for what they were doing and for their refusal to stop with centuries of warning. You see, God isn’t kidding and if you want Him to be some kind of person of your own liking, have at it. I’ll go ahead and not “think for myself” and take Him at His word. You have no desire but to lambast and throw ad hominems and that’s fine. You can basque in your “winning” the argument. I won’t waste any more time since from your comments it’s pointless.

          • GV

you have a heavy burden, attempting to defend a “god” who ordered the murder of children and babies. so I can understand why you don’t want to answer questions, like:

I would actually say that the judgement by fire is quite prevelant in scripture. Nadab and Abihu were the first to be judged that way. Korah and his 250 followers were also and this specific story contains men being swallowed up by the earth. If that isn’t a picure of the Lake of Fire in the earth, I don’t know what is. Isaiah 66:24 seems to speak specifically of those who are in the Lake of Fire and says they will be able to be seen by others.

The daughter of a priest who played the harlot in her father’s house was to be burned. That is actually a OT shadow picture of “believers and unbelievers” who whore around with other gods. God Himself is the ultimate Priest and we are all His children. It is just tht some don;t want to belong to Him and others think they can get away with doing what He said not to do.

Since God doesn’t change, there really can’t be somethig new in the NT. “The OT concealed is in the NT revealed.”
Great points all the way through the entire thread!

          • larrythelogger

I’m not talking about God’s judgment on His own recalcitrant people. I’m talking about God ONE TIME using Israel to judge the “ites” in the land. That’s the ONLY time God commanded Israel to get rid of man, woman, child, and ag products (animals) of a Gentile nation. All the fire from heaven judgments in the OT were ALL visited upon unfaithful Jewish believers and not one upon non-Jews. You are incorrect thinking that those fire from heaven judgments were against unbelievers. None of them were. They were ALL unfaithful believers.

Notice God demonstrating His mercy to the ONE captain of fifty and his fifty men when the captain broke the code in 2 Kings. The other 102 were believers in the apostate Northern Kingdom who forgot the God that brought them out of Egypt.

Nadab and Abihu were Levitical priests and sons of Aaron so qualified to be priests; high priests. Read the context. You’re right, God doesn’t change and Church Age believers are going to be shocked at the Judgment Seat of Christ when the “gentle” Jesus they’ve created isn’t the One they expected Him to be. Wait till they see Him ride out of Edom with blood all over His clothes and His horse. Church Age believers who are bereft of biblical truth will take their first resurrection body crap.

Which brings me back to my original post. God is the one making this nation go where it is because He promised He would do so when BELIEVERS satisfy the conditions of the three bad outcome promises in Romans 1 and we as American Christians are WAY knee deep in that hooplah. American Christianity endlessly uses Romans 1 and points the finger at atheists, Muslims, unbelievers, et al. The Roman believers did EXACTLY the same thing and Paul finishes his rope-a-dope in Romans 2:1 which again American Christianity continues to ignore. Our refusal to seek fellowship with God and replace Gal 5:22-23 with evangelism, witnessing and giving (all three good things) as the primary goal of the Christian is WHY we are where we are in this nation. Not one word of Romans is addressed TO unbelievers nor to be applied TO unbelievers, yet we’ve all been taught it is. Paul makes it perfectly clear to whom the book is addressed yet it is ignored. This isn’t hard. Romans 1:7 makes it abundantly clear. Just READ what Paul says and not what has been ignored by American Christianity for decades.

          • watchmannonthewall

I believe I made it quite clear that I agree with the fact the entire Book is to believers not to unbelievers. It does contain an invitation for unbelievers to become part of the family but then one must live like the Father of the family said. Agreed, most miss the audience of the entire Book.
All of the fie judgments were on ISRAELites, NOT the Jews. In fact none of the fire judgement were on “Jews”. I think it an important point because words mean something and all Jews are Israelites, but not all Israelites are Jews. It is an important distinction since God said He was going to combine the sticks of Ephraim and Judah and make them one stick in Ezekiel 37 when He brings ALL of them back to the nation at the beginning of the reign of Jesus Christ.
Far too many think Israel is only made up of Jews. God said it isn’t. We try and educate people to the differences since the distinction is very important in the study of eschatology.
As for what Paul said in Romans, I have been pointing out the same to my family and former church members for number of years now, but guess what? They don’t believe it and don’t care! They are convinced they are the “faithful” bride who doesn’t have to do what the Israelites and Jews were required to do. Whatever has been will be! There is nothing new under the sun.

          • larrythelogger

I wasn’t mentioning your clarity for and to whom the Bible or Romans was written. I agree, the Word of God was written to believers. Do passages apply and can they be read and understood by an unbeliever leading to their salvation? You bet.

I used Jews synonymous with Israelites. Technically you’re correct wrt to the name. I know they weren’t called Jews until the Babylonian captivity (Juden; inhabiters of Judah) but they were the same people as the Israelites; children of Israel, children of the covenant, etc. However, those fire from heaven judgments, after Israel was formed after the Egypt exodus, were all visited upon believers, unfaithful, disobedient children of Israel.

Leviticus outlines what the priests and Gentile must do to worship the
God of Israel but as far as invitation to Gentiles from the OT, I don’t
find it anywhere. Did Gentiles believe and become faithful to God? Well,
certainly; the Egyptians from the Exodus, Ruth, Rahab, Uriah, Naaman.
Rahab was one who read what Joshua wrote on the white cliffs as did a
while lot of ites is my guess. She and some Gibeonites were among the few who took it seriously and believed by faith saving them from judgment.

The passage in Ez 37 refers to both northern and southern kingdoms of Israel being brought back to one kingdom. Ephraim was in the northern kingdom Judah in the southern, so no divided kingdom in the Millennial Kingdom. The sticks get “recombined” in the MK. They are all the same people regardless of tribe, regardless of whether they lived in the divided northern or southern kingdom. God never divided them. They did that on their own.

In this church age, there is no Jew or Greek; just believer in Christ. However, in the MK, we’re not going to be living amongst the physically resurrected Israel. We may be doing stuff on earth in an administrative capacity but the Millennial Kingdom’s NOT for the church. It’s for Israel. It’s their second shot. Israel is coming back to occupy either the land if they were faithful (like Naaman’s slave girl) or outside the land if unfaithful (like the Pharisees and like all the kings of the northern kingdom). They’ll be here in the flesh; “I will give you a heart of FLESH”. God is speaking to Israel. God specifically addresses the mechanics in Ezekiel in the valley of dry bones. They’re coming back in fleshly bodies. When we get our resurrection bodies, we are no longer flesh. Our eternal address will include a heavenly location since resurrection bodies aren’t limited to physical space and time; and then of course the eternal location in the Father’s kingdom (and for unfaithful believers, outside the New Jerusalem) where we’ll be united with Israel.

Sorry to hear that about your fellowship of believers and family wrt Romans. It’s amazing to me that many believers have never even heard of Daniel, Noah,Moses, Job, let alone Nadab and Abihu. Sadly, the go along to get along apostasy today by believers in Christ in our nation is so tragic. And ignoring Romans 1’s warnings is cause for the believers’ disappointment at the judgment seat of Christ. Our tiny living room church is blessed with like minded believers who love God’s Word and take it seriously as does our pastor.

Thanks much for chatting. It’s so refreshing and edifying to have a back and forth with someone knowledgeable of Scripture; who loves God and wants to please Him.

          • watchmannonthewall

LIkewise with regard to chatting with someone knowledgeable about Scripture. It is probabaly because we also have a living room, sometimes basement, church. We spend about 6-7 hours in our gathering studying the word and everyone really enjoys the things we learn.

The only point covered which we may not see eye to eye on is “Who is Israel”? Caleb, a gentile, was grafted into Judah and was only one of two original men that came out of Egypt to go into the Promised Land. James found that Amos had spoken about how the gentiles would be included amongst believers during the Jerusalem Council and I see the way James quoted Amos in the NT (Acts 15:16-18) infers gentiles were counted among Israel during David’s time. In Moses God says over and over there shall be one law for the native and the sojourner among you. In Genesis 49:19 Jacob prophesied of Ephraim that he would become a multitude of “goy” gentile nations in the earth.

Many gentiles are already part of Israel. Paul understood and so stated that when “the fullness of the [“goy”] gentiles has come in, thus all Israel shall be saved.” (Romans 11:25-26) In Romans 9:3-8 Paul also says that not all those descended from Jacob are Israelites, but those who are children of the promise given to Abraham THROUGH Isaac are descendents.

Isaac received the promise given to Abraham because of Abraham’s obedience (Gen. 26:1-5) and because he was willing to allow his father to offer him as a sacrifice. This is the same way we become “children of the promise”. It is through the obedience of Jesus, but we have to die “figuratively” as Isaac did, which is how the writer of Hebrews (Chapter 11) puts it. Paul wrote, “I am crucified with Christ…”

Nonetheless, this is not a salvation issue and I really enjoyed your last post. Keep up those living room meetings and share the “Good News”!

          • larrythelogger

Well, Jephunnah the Kenizzite has been argued to be a title, hunter, and not someone associated with Keniz people by some scholars. No where does Scripture tie Jephunnah specifically to the Gentiles except through Kenizzite and the Hebrew word Kenaz meaning hunter. I wouldn’t die for that but I think Caleb was from the tribe of Judah and yep only two made it into the land from the original exodus generation. If not a direct descendant and God is in fact making the point of Jephunnah not being in the line of Abraham, so much the more because then Caleb satisfied the requirements of being a believer and converted Gentile by faith. He received His promised inheritance like any child of Israel when they took the land. That whole episode indicates how God felt about Caleb’s faith and how God viewed him whether he was from a Gentile line or from the tribe of Judah.

When I refer to the northern and southern kingdoms and call them all Jews, it’s out of convenience. Sure, some inhabitants were converted Gentiles but overall they’re believers. The actual grafting in and reference to Gentile nations per Isaiah and other prophets ALWAYS includes Israel’s (both NK and SK but mostly SK since the NK was taken out 120-ish years before the SK) recalcitrance from the covenant and refers to the MK although there is an illusion to the church age without revealing the church age to OT believers. From the context of Judges through Chronicles, my opinion is that both NK and SK were all believers, even Ahab, Manasseh and Zedekiah; all three rascals to be sure but believers nonetheless. The NK were the biggest bag of unfaithful believers, no doubt since not one king did what was right but all will be returning to the MK via valley of dry bones and given hearts of flesh in physical bodies. Ruth, Rahab, Uriah will be with them. Naaman might even be in the mix via his demonstration of faith. So, grafted in with Gentiles into Israel is going to happen but the two sticks into one in Ez 37 I think refers to the NK and SK being one. In context, it doesn’t refer to Jews and Gentiles being made one stick but both SK and NK being returned to one kingdom. God makes that point that He is referring to Israel only in verse 11, “whole House of Israel.” God uses the grafting of Gentile into Jew when He speaks to Israel’s disobedience to the covenant (sort of God saying, “If you believing Israelites don’t want fellowship with Me, I’ll find people outside the covenant who do.”). However, in 37, God is among other things, demonstrating the mechanics of how He’ll fulfill His Abrahamic covenant (which hasn’t been fulfilled) in the MK to the house of Israel (one nation, not two) via valley of dry bones.

Romans 11:25-26; “For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own opinion, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. 26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written:
The Deliverer will come out of Zion,
And He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob;”

Fullness of the Gentiles is the end of the church age and Israel’s blindness will continue until the fullness of Gentiles (church age) has come in or is finished. All Israel; OT “Jews” from Abraham to Judas (and unmentioned others who died before Pentecost) will be resurrected in bodies of flesh and yes, they’ll be saved in the MK per Isaiah 27:9, none going to the lake of fire, none being separated eternally from God; living for a thousand years either with their inheritance if they were faithful OT believers or shining shoes in Palmdale, California with no permission nor access to the land nor Jerusalem if they were Ahab types; (Now the kids born during the MK are a different story). Paul separates out the church age of which many of the Jewish Roman believers are still ignorant and the future MK. Jewish Roman believers (as well as several other Jewish believers in his epistles) kept trying to ignore the two separate dispensations for their gain in being “superior” to Gentiles. The issue in Acts of Gentiles first becoming Jews before they become believers in Christ that Paul and Peter eviscerates comes to mind. If you realize the use of the personal pronoun in Eph 2 (Us and You); Paul does an incredible job of both showing the distinction between Jew (us) and Gentile believers (you) and the oneness now of both in this church age. As usual with Paul, it’s brilliant.

I agree with your discussion of Abraham and isaac. We studied that recently (our Christ in the Levitical sacrifices study) and the context behind Abraham’s immediate response having been taught the resurrection via his all day long guarding of the sacrifices. His knowledge and subsequent faith in God that somehow, no matter what happened God was going to have to resurrect Isaac was a great part of that study. I agree with the reference to Christ’s obedience being pictured through Isaac. The thing that I often meditate on is God the Father’s loss in His Son’s death; His loss for my gain. Stunning to me. I so do not deserve that but have the benefits of His loss. That hijacks my breath.

Great discussion and thanks again. I will keep myself ready to give an answer as I’m certain you’ll do the same.

          • watchmannonthewall

As you say, great discussion. Never heard the information presented here regarding Jephunnah. I’ll have to keep it in the back of the mind in case I come across it somewhere.
As to “fullness of the Gentiles” my understanding is this actually refers to Genesis 49:19 where Jacob, prophesying in the Spirit, says Ephraim will become a “multitude of nations” in the “midst of the earth” (v.16). God already knew of their coming apostacy and scattering of the “holy” seed among the nations. When God’s “appointed time” arrives, not when the last gentile is “saved”, Jesus will return and gather His people to take them to the Land where He rules during the MK.
I do not see God as having two distinctly different groups of people who get to heaven by two different ways having two different sets of “Laws” they have to follow. God is a God of unity. “Hear, O Israel the LORD our God, the LORD is one.” “The two shall become one flesh.” “One Lord, one faith, one baptism.” How can there only be one faith if there are two sets of standards to participate in it? I can’t grasp that.
I know the rabbinics teach this but I disagree with them, surprise, surprise, though many Christians want to believe it also. I just don’t see it in His Word. Anyway, we will keep on learning and maturing in the faith!

          • larrythelogger

I am a pre-trib; pre-millennial guy. I am convinced of the evidence for that in Scripture.

That said, I completely agree, per Heb 11, there never has been “two sets of ways to get to heaven” nor two sets of means to salvation. However, there ARE different dispensations and the millennial kingdom is NOT for the church (ekklesia) dispensation. It is NOT heaven for the children of Israel who are going to return in physical bodies with old sin natures. The kingdom of the Father is “heaven” for everybody from every dispensation and there’s only one way to get there per Hebrews 11; faith; faith in Christ prior to His incarnation (the levitical system and laws did NOT result in salvation as David reiterated in the Psalms) and faith in Christ after His incarnation and resurrection. People being in separate and distinct dispensations in NO WAY mean there are two different means of salvation and two different heavens. The church is NOT “Millennial Kingdom” bound; ISRAEL is. However, all believers in every dispensation are Kingdom of the Father bound. That is definitely biblical and is found throughout Scripture starting with Abraham who looked for a city whose founder and builder is God-that’s NOT the millennial kingdom, that’s the New Jerusalem although Abraham will be alive in the Millennial Kingdom because he has to be in order for God to actually fulfill Abe’s specific land covenant and promise.

There never has been two sets of standards; just one; faith in each dispensation; the dispensations prior to the church looked forward to the deliverance starting with Eve; Gen 3:15 to Christ’s birth, His life/ministry to Pentecost; then looking back per 1 Cor 15:1-4 in the church age to the rapture. Faith will still be the standard in Daniel’s 70th week until the Lord returns to set up His thousand year reign. Faith will NOT be necessary in the Millennial Kingdom because of the definition of faith per Heb 11:1. Obedience will be the issue because Christ is visible, things hoped for and things not seen will require no evidence; the evidence is present. All those people who are resurrected in physical bodies with old sin natures at the start of the MK are believers and will still be going to the kingdom of the Father but their rewards in the KOF will be determined by their obedience in the thousand year reign of Christ.

The children of Israel are separate and distinct from the church. That in no way means there are two different salvations and two different heavens. Remember the church is the mystery, not just because Paul said it was not revealed to Israel but because even after the resurrection, just before Christ’s ascension, the disciples had no idea there would be a new age, new dispensation, completely separate from all dispensations before and after.

          • watchmannonthewall

I do not see anything in Scripture about “different dispensations”. I do see that God declares the end from the beginning (Is. 48:10) and that He does nothing except He reveals it unto His servants the prophets. (Amos 3:7)

If there are various dispensations it must be taught by Moses in the first 5 books of scripture, but since Moses clearly states what God is doing with the Israelites when taking them to Sinai is a renewal of the Abrahamic covenant (Ex. 6:1-5) which Paul confirms in Galatians 3:17-19 there is no teaching here of a different “dispensations”. In fact, from the beginning of scripture to the end, obedience to all of what God says is taught.

I think the real problem many have is not realizing that a Hebrew, or Israelite, is one who actually began as a Syrian or gentile. Abraham married his own half sister. Isaac married his cousin on his mother’s side, who was also a Syrian, and so did Jacob.

Who did Jacob’s sons marry? Judah married a Canaanite woman. Simeon had a Canaanite concubine. The sons captured all the women and children of Shechem and likely took their wives from here. There were no “Hebrew” or “Israelite” women to marry. Joseph married an Egyptian. “Israel” has always had foreign wives and so always, technically, through the time of the 12 sons, marrried Gentile women. This is a picture of how God chose us, ALL gentile women, to be His Son’s bride. Not all who believe qualify however!

It appears from Nehemiah that even during his time those of Judah were intermarrying with foreign women, how much more the Northern tribes before their dispersion?

Jeremiah tells us God had two brides, just like Jacob, Judah and Israel. Israel was given a bill of divorcement but not Judah. (Jer. 3:6-10) John Baptist said he was a friend of the bridegroom, why? He was already married to Christ in Judah but Christ came to seek the scattered northern tribes, to return them to Him as His bride (also why His first miracle was at a wedding) hence, “I am sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”

Paul speaks of this in Romans 7:1-5, though the “church” claims he is talking about the Law being the dead husband. He isn’t. Paul is speaking about how God followed His own Law of Deuteronomy 24:1-4 and both the first husband, Jesus, (who also walked through the Pieces while Abraham slept in the covenant God made with Abraham) and the first bride, Israel, you and I, have to die to be resurrected in newness of life so we can be restored to a proper relationship of oneness with Him through marriage. We are now espoused to Him, but won’t “dwell’ with him until He returns to the earth.

We have different understandings of how these events play out but agree Jesus gave us the way to eternal life. Perhaps one of us will change our perception as we continue our walk.

    Thanks Michael!!!

This may be one of the most important, and definitely heartfelt messages, you have ever done.

Being prepared on all possible levels is important for those that take responsibility in their lives, and especially those that are responsible for the innocent, (very young, very old, disabled). Being prepared, spiritually, is the most important and is the easiest and prudent thing to do, with the greatest results as a Christian. Once a person is linked up and locked in with the Greatest Provider of all, thru the Holy Spirit, then all other things seem to start falling in place in their lives.

We have been preparing in all arenas of preparedness, for at least ten years. First and foremost we increased our spiritual knowledge and faith.
Then, by using common sense and limited budgets, and most importantly the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we prioritized the things which we saw as no frills needs for preparing for a period of six months, more importantly winter months.
    Potable water
    Stored Foods
Firewood for heating the home, and cooking

Not having an adequate wood stove prompted us to search for bargains during that first summer of prepping, and we were blessed to find not one, but two good deals on used wood stoves that could be easily set up inside the b/out location and used confidently for a heat source and cooking on top of.

So this commentary doesn’t get turned into a book, I will just say that we built off of these things to get to the point that we are at today.
One of the things we added a couple of years later was a used, wood fired kitchen cook stove, that was compact and could be easily moved and set up. I like to bake, and have baking of pies and cakes and breads as a huge part of our preparedness plans. The hundreds and hundreds of $$ of stored wheat berries and a hand grinder is testament to that endeavor. We see that as the difference to living a mundane subsistence life, as to living large and happy.

Much more to comment about the modern day Church, but will come later.

“A pay increase is the right thing to do. Wages for many Americans have gone nowhere for too long,” CEO Jamie Dimon wrote in a column in the New York Times. “Above all, it enables more people to begin to share in the rewards of economic growth.”

Deuteronomy 20:1 When you go to war against your enemies and see horses and chariots and an army greater than yours, do not be afraid of them, because the LORD your God, who brought you up out of Egypt, will be with you.

Romans 13:4-6 For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. 5 Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience. 6 This is also why you pay taxes, for the authorities are God’s servants, who give their full time to governing.

We are not given the day or the hour for that reason – to continue until He actually comes for us and to not try to wait until the very end to prepare ourselves spiritually.
Also, I really do put my faith in my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (Yeshua Ha’Moshiach) and not in my abilities to “prep” for some long term cataclysm. And this is because He gives us this straight from His own mouth: “seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all of these things (you need) will be added to you”. I really don’t think that we can effectively prepare physically in the natural world for what is coming on the whole earth. But this just makes me prepare spiritually and bear spiritual fruit demonstrating faith in God alone all the more. I say all of that with one caveat – that we should all do exactly what He leads us to do in the Spirit.

Most people will die of old age before the second coming of Christ or the results of their prepping actually matter. Enjoy all your freezed-dried food during your old age. It’s probably better than eating cat food but not much.

      • NM Patriot

I don’t pretend to know about when the second coming will happen. However as for prepping and not getting any results from all that, I’d like to point out that if you make being prepared a lifestyle choice it always helps even in the current day. Building renewable energy systems and making them part of your life even if you live near or in the city you can install panels on your roof and use a transfer switch to live off the grid in the middle of the grid. I promise you will save on your monthly power bill in the current day yet be prepared for any power shortages. It is a finite situation of course as batteries deteriorate quickly with use and eventually all the high-tech power systems fail unless you have prepared for that. I am getting off track but i.e. use a forklift battery that can be repaired and renewed for use for 30 years. Anyway back to no results from being prepared, if this is an impetus for fat overweight people to get back into shape and get healthy again then I suspect they will reap the benefits of that preparation in current time as well. In terms of the best sort of preparation you can buy (that being knowledge of course) you will have probably gained a great deal of benefit from learning how to actually do important things like build a house, raise a good garden, raise and slaughter animals (cow, goat, sheep, chickens, etc.) and a thousand other skills that they can use every day to improve their lives and eat healthier food at the same time. That to me is one way to look at it. You are right in some cases too as I am being forced to throw away old expired food all the time because I didn’t eat what I stored. At the same time I am eating rice and beans I put in storage from 2006-2007 right now. So don’t be so pessimistic there is very much to be gained from changing your lifestyle into a more self-reliant and better prepared stance by default as I feel it tends to make us improve in almost every area of our lives. Thanks

      1Ti 5:8
But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

      • My scripture quote is applicable to the subject of prepping – trying to anticipate and store up enough food and supplies for a long term apocalyptic event to be self sufficient. There are no scriptures indicating to “prep” in that way where the tribulation is discussed, but I did write that “we should do exactly what He leads us to do in the Spirit”.

25 “Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink; nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life
more than food and the body more than clothing? 26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? 27 Which of you by worrying can add one cubit to his stature?
28 “So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; 29 and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. 30 Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith?
31 “Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble.

The government is your Lord. And you should never question the Lord’s authority. The police ARE your God. Worship your God and obey.

    (32) Although the FBI now admits that the 2001 anthrax attacks were carried out by one or more U.S. government scientists, a senior FBI official says that the FBI was actually told to blame the Anthrax attacks on Al Qaeda by White House officials (remember what the anthrax letters looked like). Government officials also confirm that the white House tried to link the anthrax to Iraq as a justification for regime change in that country.

“Terrorism is the best political weapon for nothing drives people harder than a fear of sudden death”.

“Why of course the people don’t want war … But after all it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship … Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.”

Good sheep put all their faith in God. The government wants you to put your faith in God. Because when you put all your faith in God you just wait for something to happen and you don’t cause any trouble. Faith in God is much better than having faith in some leader advocating actually doing something against the government.. God is great!

The hardest concept to bare in mind is what is coming. That is WHY 97 to 99 percent of the people do not think about it. If you do not think about it, IT WILL NEVER COME.
Prepare for the population to act like panic, “Katie by the door.”
It has been very difficult for me to prepare, I did however reluctantly. I have had experience with people who steal and do many bad things. I also know how difficult it is to live in nature with almost nothing at hand.
99% of the people have not experienced these surroundings. They have had an excellent sheltered life. NOW THEIR HEAD IS IN THE SAND. DO NOT WANT TO KNOW. DO NOT WANT TO HEAR. DO NOT WANT TO LISTEN. DO NOT WANT TO READ. MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL ::::: DO NOT WANT TO COMPREHEND OR UNDERSTAND.

Yes… government’s are established by the Lord… but it doesn’t mean we have to obey unrighteousness EITHER! “For we aught to obey GOD rather than MAN” (Acts 5:29).

  • Preacher62

We are not commissioned to tell the world about the “great shaking” coming to America. It is this sort of distraction and outward focus that has led us to the point we are at now. That which calls itself the church has failed miserably in its only purpose which is the making disciples of Jesus Christ and teaching them to OBEY everything Jesus taught us. The judgment that has fallen on this country is judgment against the Church for their apathy regarding the souls of humanity. Judgment always begins with the house of God. Those who claim to believe need to start looking within to see if Christ is really there rather than looking outside themselves for the next boogeyman.
Even among commenters to this blog, the focus is on “prepping” and self preservation and politics, rather than on self-denial and following Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ sacrificed all of himself for the sake of a lost and dying world and commanded us to do the same as we become more and more like him. However today’s professed believers with the aid of their salaried shepherds have created a false gospel centered around the believer, his welfare and comfort and have abandoned the creator in exchange for the created.
I have no faith in a believer who has chosen an extension and expansion to this earthly life rather than embracing the home and eternal life they claim to believe in. That is what an unbelieving world simply finds unbelievable. Seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and whatever you need will be given to you. God Bless

“1This is now the second letter that I am writing to you, beloved. In both of them I am stirring up your sincere mind by way of reminder, 2that you should remember the predictions of the holy prophets and the commandment of the Lord and Savior through your apostles, 3knowing this first of all, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own sinful desires. 4They will say, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things are continuing as they were from the beginning of creation.” 2 Peter 3:1-4 ESV.
No doubt at the time of WW1 and WW2 there were Christians heralding that Yeshua was soon to return. However certain aspects of the way the world was to “come together” were not possible until the technological advances we have currently. Israel was made a nation in one day…1948. Lots has happened since then. Markets looked to be spiraling downward a bit ago…now all time highs. So people get jaded, calloused, even are numbered among the scoffers…and like the 5 foolish virgins fail to fill their lamps with oil… Do many “Christians” today eagerly wait for His coming, or are we (particularly in North America) entertained and comfortable thereby having no yearnings that we are but strangers and pilgrims in this world? I have to fight daily to have a heart for the lost, to proclaim the Good News, and to not become complacent. I would like to think I am prepared for what must come to pass, but when the power was off when I got up this morning…well, I realized, I am not completely prepared.

Dow Jones just hit a record high. FTSE 100 up almost 11% since June 17th. DAX recovering (still has a way to go) Oil prices on their way back to US 50 / barrel. Gold on its way back down. Really strange to see these trends when there is so much chaos and uncertainty.

Just more signs of the times.
Look deep underneath all these numbers and you’ll find some other very disturbing numbers. Like the S&P companies being “overvalued” by as much as 22%.
In fact, most of the funds are over valued, and it is based on the Central Banks around the world infusing printed money. Japan’s gdp to debt, staggering.

It’s a house of cards, built on a worn out deck of cards that are weak as stump water. Soon, one near the bottom will fold, and the whole shebang will come tumbling down…and in a hurry.

Sad for those all tied up in 401k and pension fund retirement stocks. Sad for those that have not prepped and have no cash on hand, silver, or gold bars. A good stash of food and access to clean water will be someday worth more than all the gold and silver one can haul in a wheelbarrow, That doubles if the grid goes down. That triples if one is stuck in a bigger city situation.

That quadruples if one is provider for a family of four or more, and has limited cached food.

      • FireHope

Thanks for the perspective JC. I have bought gold, shares (European) and prepped to a certain extent (tried to cover the bases) – I was just really surprised to see the kind of recovery on the markets in such a short space especially considering the unstable geo-political and economic climate around the globe. Appreciated your input.

        • JC Teecher

          Thanks FireHope,

Yea, I think most people are surprised as well, even Michael. I believe he basically admitted it in his newest article.

I was not surprised at all. In fact if you have followed my commentaries here over the past few weeks, you will see what i predicted after the Brexit, when almost all the economist and market forecasters were saying a tanking was coming after the Brexit, I saw something else.

it is easy to make bold predictions when you have no skin in the game. We cleared out of the markets many years ago.

I stand by my forecast that i began making last September, on another big prepper site. The markets will basically seesaw until “they” decide to pull the plug. We are now seeing a slide to the upper levels of gains and soon a see-sawing at the top for a couple weeks until something sets off a dip, and see-saw some more, maybe making astronomical gains until the crash, possibly on a Monday/Friday, mid October.

Honestly, I am like Michael, I hope it doesn’t happen. I don’t want to see all the pain and suffering that will ensue from people’s lives turned upside down because they played the shell game of financial ruin.

However; nothing says return to reality and return to God, like a broke and broken down nation.
We are on that path as a nation and the path is getting ready to end at a jumping off place.

Sadly, very few of us are standing on the firm, and secure rock foundation of Jesus Christ. The foundation that can not be shaken.

          • FireHope

You have helped me quite a bit with your responses. Thanks. Yes, I absolutely agree Jesus Christ is the foundation. The Way, The Truth and the Life. I also believe we are nearing a tipping point in many areas. I live in South Africa and we have had some turmoil this side – sparks – that fortunately have not resulted in an explosion yet. But there has also been a fair amount of repenting and reconciliation. God bless and keep you. Many Americans are great people (I spent a year in Washington State when I was a teen in 1989). I am sorry for what you all are going through.

The nation and its laws were founded in co-operation with the Lord. The country and its biblical based laws was given to the care of the Church. It failed a long time ago, therefore as Christianity declined, Satan has risen, and America is experiencing the results of that failure. We are about to see that old maxim: There are no atheists in foxholes. As for the milquetoast churches, Jesus said He would spew them out of His mouth– in other words, eject them from His body. We’d better check our religiosity. Fiddlin

That’s exactly the way it went down during Nazi Germany: the false, dominant church turned out to be the greatest enemy of the true, bible believing Christians. Seems like the more things change, the more they stay the same (a la Solomon and the book of Ecclesiastes).

The earth is filled to the brim with people who profess to be Christian, only to not live out their lives following Christ. Everyone wants fire insurance, but God isn’t mocked. When persecution comes, those people wither (think the Parable of the Sower – only those firmly planted in the soil of God’s Word yield a crop) – often that’s God’s way or purifying a church that has gone apostate – to bring on some “heat” to where it truly costs something to stand firm in the faith and be a Christian. God is actually doing a favor by revealing who is who – before it’s too late so that you can make a clear choice of where you stand.

    Answer this question:

If satan lived with god in heaven and it was such a wonderful and sinless place than how could satan have chosen to sin and rebel against god? If satan can rebel, then one could argue from a logistical standpoint that once in heaven a person could decide to rebel also? Thus even heaven is not a sinless place.

    • JC Teecher

Satan had free reign to “run to and fro” on the earth.
In my opinion the sins were committed upon the earth “only”. We know that the sins committed by the Fallen Angels/Nephilim, were on the earth, with earthly women, and I believe, just my opinion, also with earthly effeminate men/boys.

          • JC Teecher

            Hi Bill,

I follow what you are saying. In fact, that is a good realization and determination.

That is exactly why i believe that no actual sins were, or ever have been, committed in Heaven.

Most of these people are not trying to get closer to God, they are trying to disprove God. Charlieboy and GV, are also mocking God and Christianity. You know as well as i do, that is a true sign of liberalism and secularism.

It is very difficult in discussing these deep understandings with the average person, especially if those persons are not born again.

We do try. because we never know for sure what is in their heart, but sometimes it is futile.

            God Bless.

        • Bill G Wilminton NC

As I have said to you… The Angels are Heavenly Soldiers….Soldiers Disobey Orders….They Do Not Sin….No Sin In Heaven….and Satan Still Has Access to Heaven for Now.

    • Preacher62

Correct, heaven as it stands now is not a sinless place thus the reason that Jesus is creating a new heaven and a new earth (Revelation) to replace that which has been tainted by sin. Once God has regenerated those he has chosen as his own then there will be no more sin and only those who have been regenerated will be allowed in.

      • charlieboy

So heaven, created by god is full of sin. Humans created by god are full of sin. Everything god created it seems is tainted or eventually gets tainted. That’s why he has to create another new heaven and earth, so what’s to stop these 2 places from eventually becoming tainted also?

But don’t forget that this new earth is once again given over to the devil for his own amusement “for a season” before he is finally thrown forever into the pit.

If god is going to get rid of sin and “free will” then why not do it now? Why wait? It seems pointless to say you want your creation to have a choice, yet the end result will be taking away all choice as the final solution to the sin problem.

        • Preacher62

They only became full of sin when they rejected their creator just like you are doing. The creator can do with his creation however he chooses. Go ahead and create something and you will have the same options with yours as God does with his.

Can one of the christians on this board please explain to me how satan was able to sin while communing with god in heaven?

Doesn’t this strike anyone as odd? I mean the devil is the whole reason christians claim that though saved they still do bad things on earth.

For all those christians aren’t they worried about doing the same bad things in heaven and getting kicked out? God can’t even give you earth to roam around and cause trouble on cause he already gave it to his most favorite and precious sinner – satan.

And yes in case you were wondering god does play favorites. That’s why he loved the devil more than any of the other angels that lived with him. Similar to earth where some people get all the publicity (like on a football team) while the rest of the poor slubs just do all the work.

So please, tell me how satan, living with such a loving, merciful all knowing creator was able to start thinking thoughts that smelled like mutiny?

This should be an easy one for you guys, yet all I hear is the crickets chirping.

    • Preacher62

Your liberal mindset can and most likely will bring you harm. If you don’t want harm to come to you, you might want to think about changing that evil mindset.

    • mtntrek3

Why Satan, aka Lucifer, ultimately chose to try to place himself above God is known only to him and completely known by God. Basically, it was pride. He was one of God’s most powerful angels…. one of the most beautifully adorned also. Satan left heaven w/ a third of the angels. They aren’t allowed to interact with those that have been redeemed through Christ that are now in Heaven, but are allowed before God. However, they can’t reside in Heaven now. …….. Concerning we as human beings, when we accept Jesus as our Savior, we are covered by His sacrificial blood. Jesus led a perfect life. He gave His life as a sin sacrifice on the cross in our stead. We as Christians lead a better life once God through Christ helps us in this world. Not perfect yet, but striving toward that mark. Once we enter Heaven at the end of our way in this world, yes I believe we will still have free will. However we are changed and perfected once in Heaven in God’s direct presence. We have overcome sin and death and the sufferings of this world through Christ, and because Christ is perfect, there we will be perfect also. We won’t be tempted to sin any longer. It has been already prophesied that Satan and his angels will continue on their way rebelling against God to the very end. There is no hope for them. There is still hope for us through Jesus. That’s a very good thing indeed.

      • charlieboy

How does a celestial being have a human emotion such as pride? So when bad things are done or happen to “saved” humans it is not satan tempting them or doing those bad things, but god, right?

I thought god hated sin, so why would sinful angels be allowed before god? Seems that it would just be too much for god to handle.

Obviously christ is not perfect and neither is heaven because if it was satan would never have had any pride in the first place. So your imaginary heaven is just that imaginary.

        • Bill G Wilminton NC

Angels didn’t SIN They Disobeyed/Rebelled THEY Dont Sin Just Like Soldiers Do Not Sin….The Angels Disobeyed and Were Cast Out.

Heaven is Perfect And The Angels Have FREE WILL….

          • charlieboy

Why are you saying soldiers do not sin? That to me is a brainwashing statement. Are you referring to both human and celestial soldiers?

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

Humans may Sin ……Angels may Disobey.

        • mtntrek3

Satan still tempts us after we’re converted. God may allow us to be tested, but God tempts no one. It depends on how close of a relationship w/God we have as to whether or not we succumb to the temptations to sin. However even the closest of Christians to God and the strongest in faith can and do still fail at times. We still have the old sinful nature in us while in this world. Once we reach Heaven we’ll be changed and perfected as Christ is perfect. Satan chose to try to place himself above God….. so he along w/ the angels that sided w/him were sent out of Heaven. Satan goes before God as an accuser of Christians, as he did w/Job. Christ is perfect as God is, the devil and his following angels(demons) have been and are still rebelling against God…… and will continue to do so until they are thrown into the lake of fire at the end.

          • charlieboy

“God tempts no one.” Not true. Find the verse in your bible where god clearly states that he makes good and evil.

          • mtntrek3

God created Lucifer (Satan) and the angels that sided w/ him, God created us also. He gave us free will. We decide what to do with that free will……. right or wrong. Often times we as faulty beings choose incorrectly. Sad but true. God created everything…….. the verse you are referring to seems to say God created evil. God created the ones that chose to be evil. God isn’t evil. He is the definition of good.

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

Evil Is The Absence Of God….

    • Bill G Wilminton NC

Angels are soldier/servants/helpers to God and when soldiers disobey commands it is not a SIN but DISOBEYING a COMMAND and there is a penalty….those angels were tossed out of Heaven.

Angels have FREE WILL just like humans….and make choices like humans…..look at your choice no difference to Satans but yours is a SIN that could be forgiven by the Blood Of Jesus….

Angels have no recourse just bye bye heaven and their service to God…..THEY ( the fallen angels) know that THEY made a mistake.

Let’s all take a deep breath and remember that what is happening today is in no way shape or form some cataclysmic event. The Chinese, among other cultures are proof of this.

Here’s a brief history lesson of the death toll of the conflicts in China:

    Mongol Conquests (1206-1337) – 60 million deaths
    Second Sino-Japanese War (1937-1945) – 27 million deaths
    Taiping Rebellion (1850-1864) – 20 million deaths
Conquests of Tamerlane – (1370-1405) 19 million deaths
An Lushan Rebellion (755-763) 13 million deaths
Dungan Revolt (1862-1877) 12 million deaths
Red Eyebrows Rebellion (2-11 AD) 11.5 million deaths
Chinese Civl War (1927-1936) 7.5 million deaths
Yellow Turban Rebellion (184-205) 7 million deaths

These are REAL death tolls. And today there is a full 1.36 billion people living with the borders of modern day China. Today’s Americans are so engendered to alarmism and cherry picking they don’t know can’t be bothered with rational thought or it might spoil their pity party.

I haven’t done a very good job of prepping. A little here and there, but not nearly what I should. Why not? I guess it comes back to the preppers I met in the 70’s and 80’s. I recall some of them retreating from society into remote cabins (think Ted Kaczinski cabins) or even caves, while others just spent most of their money on ever more supplies and guns and ammo. It is now 30-40 years later, many of these folks have passed on, and their emergency never came to pass. They missed much of life while hoarding and hiding. So this lesson has always stopped me from committing 100%. Yes, I know things seem worse now than ever before, but, to those folks 40 years ago, everything also seemed terrible and, in some ways, they were worse back then.

    • gfmucci

I agree. There is a point where economics and living a life limit the extent to which we can prep. Even if I devoted ALL of my resources, I could not prep for some of the cataclysmic events that hard core preppers prep for. My prepping priority is for the things that have shown to occur every hundred years or so…severe storms, short term bank failures, short term food shortages, short term emp event and the like. As a friend of mine who has multiple thousands of rounds of ammunition said: “If I am in a situation where I have to use a fraction of my ammo, I’d be overrun and dead.”

Why dont you answer the question about how an angel could sin in the presence of god. How they could even fathom a sinful thought?

      • Bill G Wilminton NC

Angels are Created by God “Spirit Helpers” that have Free Will and Reside in Heaven with God. The Angels are like Soldiers but “Heavenly Soldiers”. When a Soldier Disobeys it is not a Sin but Disobedience and Carries a Penalty, the Penalty for this Disobedience was Banishment from Heaven. Those ” Soldiers ” that listened to Lucifer ( one third of the angels ) Disobeyed God and were Cast Out of Heaven.

Remember that Lucifer STILL has Access to the Throne Room Of God and Acts As The Prosecutor of Man but Yeshua (Jesus ) is There As Our Defender And Says “Covered by My Blood ”

If We Were Dealing With SIN Lucifer Could Never Stand In Front of God. As there is NO Sin Permitted in Heaven.

        Man SINS Angels Disobeyed….Big Difference.

        • charlieboy

“Man SINS Angels Disobeyed….Big Difference.” There is no difference just semantics.

I would like to know where in the bible these spirit helpers who have free will are talked about. Sounds to me like you are using human logic to make sense of something that does not make any sense.

Not to mention why does god keep creating beings that disobey him? Something interesting to study up on.

          • watchmannonthewall

A story in scripture is told pictured in heaven. God is on the throne and asks a question: “Who will go and convince Ahab to go to war so that he will die?” One angel came and said this and another said that. Finally one came and said he would do it. God asked, “How?” The angel answered, “I will be a lying spirit in the mouth of his prophets.” God said, “Go. And you shall surely succeed.” He did and Ahab was slain. (a quick paraphrase)

Now I admit that the stroy raises some intersting perspectives of what happens in heaven. But it is indisputable the story demonstrates angels have free will and creativity, which God appears to enjoy and encourage!

          • charlieboy

Well isn’t that just fantastic. This alone should make all christians take pause and stop worshiping such a vile and deceitful creature as their god is.

Think about the old testament and all the evil acts committed by god – yet justified by christians. Now parallel that with human beings and you can conclude that we are exactly as god and his angels are. Two sides of the same coin and a direct reflection of what they worship.

Jesus was created to try and make god seem gentler/nicer. Yet even in the new testament jesus is not here for the gentiles, rather he is here for his chosen people – the jews.

          • watchmannonthewall

Taking things out of context is pretext, which you have just done, in accordance with your (?) heart. You made a statement about wanting to know where in scripture it indicates angels have free-will and when provided an answer went to a completely different subgect to find something else wrong. If you don’t want to know and engage your mind, don’t ask!
If you find and read the portion, which was not the subject I dealt with, you will see what Ahab did that justified his death. And that doesn’t even touch on all of the things he and his wifee did prior to that. I feel pretty comfortable with my assessment that you are of the opinion God has no right to hold any part of his creation accountable to His standards of conduct.
I wonder if you let your children, if you have any, do exactly what they wanted and never tried to get them or forced them to live by your standards of conduct. If you didn’t allow them to do exactly what they wanted but instead actually did correct and discipline them, but refuse to allow the Creator that place of respect and honor which you demanded of your children towards you, you are a hypocrite! I have no doubt you deliberately influenced your children towards your own standards!
There is no point to responding to your last paragraph.

          • charlieboy

My bad I did not know this was your fine example of angels having free will. I thought you were giving an example of how god is a d –k as exemplified in your bible. Next time I will try to adhere to better reading comprehension standards.

            Just to make it clear:

Angels are allowed with gods permission to do whatever they want – good or bad to humans on this earth (but if you have to ask are you really exercising free will).

God hates liars but doesn’t seem to mind an angel lying to a human being as long as it works to his benefit.

God actually enjoys and gets off on hearing about their little misadventures and trickery and how they are able to trick feeble minded humans.

God sounds like a mirror image of the people that run the United States.

          • charlieboy

As for Ahab and Jezebel what about David and how he caused Bathsheba’s husband to be killed so he could have her for himself? I guess since David believed in god and not some other god it was OK for him to do what he did, right?

          • charlieboy

Oh wait god punished david by murdering an innoccent child to make him pay. Sounds fair and loving to me.

          • charlieboy

Not to mention god forced david’s wives to commit adultery in broad daylight – his wives had no choice god coerced them to punish david. God is just so loving, long suffering and merciful.

          • watchmannonthewall

If you read your Bible you would understand that David lost 4 sons due to what he did. The Torah says if a person steals another man’s sheep he must restore 4 sheep in its place. Also, Bathsheba’s grandfather, Ahithophel, who was one of David’s counselors, turned against David and joined the rebellion lead by David’s own son, Absolom. I think God did a pretty good job taking care of the sin of David. We can be sure if He dealt with His favorite king’s sin, He will take care of all of our sin also, can”t we?

          • charlieboy

How by murdering an innocent infant and then making him watch his wives fornicating with another man in public? Do you think that baby or his wives thought that was fair?

          • watchmannonthewall

God, as Creator, does not ask us for our opinion of His actions. Did you ask your children if they thought what you did to them was fair? Just sayin!

There is very little time left. Just pray that we, the ones “in-the-know”, can help someone, anyone, even one, come to know the Lord. If we can help just one..we’ve done our job.

  • God has been preparing again, a remnant who will fulfill his word in the final days, and there will be a great harvest in every corner of the earth. But it will not be without cost. As revival goes throughout the land, persecution will arise, and a conclusive choice will have to be made. Either forsake your life and follow Jesus Christ to certain death, or choose to preserve your life and fall away to the Antichrist. For many years I have sought a gentle way to say that, but there is none.

    Hi Deb,

Went to your site, and was disappointed I could not leave comments, so I reply here.
The work you put into the site is very soothing and heartfelt.
I especially like reading about your dreams/out of body experiences, and visions.

The one about your meeting with the Holy Spirit, which i believe was Christ as King and Lord, was most interesting, and uplifting.

I have always believed that the Holy Spirit was a separate entity from the One Godhead and the Son, Saviour.
However; with my latest studies and Holy Spirit guidance, I am of the understanding that the Father and the Son/Saviour are bound together with their intellect/wisdom/love thru their respective spirits and that is transcended to all that believe and send love in return.

I also know about guardian Angels. Most are surrounded by two. Last year I had an experience of Divine intervention which led me to answers of a 100 year old mystery, concerning family that lived nearly 150 miles away. After the revealing came forth, the wife and i stopped by the roadside at a beautiful spot on a mountain top look off.

We took pictures. Later at home after downloading to the computer, I was casually looking when i heard a soft voice….”look into the faces in the clouds”.
Immediately saw a big face looking at me in the shape of clouds, and to my right shoulder. I called to the wife and she also saw it and was amazed. A while later, it dawned on me as I had been instructed to look for “faces”, plural. I began searching and low and behold the appearance of an almost identical face appeared but about a third the size and over my left shoulder in the picture.

WOw! Then I had questions but the Holy spirit came to me with explanation. the larger is your warring angel for protection and the smaller is your guiding angel.

    Isa 41:10
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

    Psa 91:11
For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

  • JC Teecher

I checked it out and was almost hooked when I saw that they had translated the correct translation of the earth “becoming” void and without form. This I know is true.

However; with further inspection, they are still translating the KJV version of “rib” when in the original it is “curve” which is actually a reference to the Helix curve of which the feminine gene was removed from The man called Adam, as in a distinctly different race of mankind, know as Caucasian today, but was known as Adamic/Hebrew of that time. The actual race of human of which Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, and later King David, and even later the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ would be born from.

I will use it some as a reference, but it will not be my Go-to Bible.
Thanks again of making me aware of it.

That is an interesting commentary but there is no free will explained in the bible. To me that is a man made term used to try and explain the unexplainable. Also isn’t jesus god in the flesh so in heaven there would be no jesus only god. Do you think god is angry that people worship jesus and not him?

    • JC Teecher

I don’t know how you get that there is no such thing as freewill. If there is no freewill, then there can be no sin. All humans would be like robots walking around…”love you God, love you God, love you God”, all day.
That is not true love. Think about it.

God handed all Created beings over to His only begotten Son, for Lordship and Kingship over them. If there was anything present but pure unadulterated love, that would not have happened.
Before men and women were born into flesh, they were in spirit bodies in Heaven, and Jesus was Lord and King over them, as King Melchizedek. He was spirit until He was born through the womb as flesh and fulfilled his office as Saviour and was named Jesus Christ.
Christos comes from the prime root definition as the “annointed one”.
When He returns He will be Spirit again and King again, over the eternal Kingdom, that will be here on Earth at Jerusalem.

God is angry that “his” created children, humans, have put idols in front of Him an/or His Son. Idol worship is the worst sin, and the reason the 1st commandment was about that.

      Deu 5:7
Thou shalt have none other gods before me.

This word “gods” includes anything or anyone that comes in between a person’s love and devotion to the Almighty Creator of all.

God is a jealous God, but not over His Only Son.

      • heather

“If there is no freewill, then there can be no sin. All humans would be
like robots walking around…”love you God, love you God, love you God”,
        all day.
That is not true love. Think about it.”

Isn’t that how humans will be in heaven, with no free will and unable to choose?

Interesting that you believe that human beings were once spirit beings incarnated now on this earthly plane. Now if only you could remove the religious stumbling block you would begin to realize the entire picture, rather than just one small part.

What does an all knowing god who created everything have to be jealous of?

Why does a spirit/eternal kingdom need to exist on an earthly plane? For what reason? After all those saved will no longer have human bodies, human desires and needs. What will they be doing for eternity?

        • JC Teecher

Heather, dear girl, you are confusing many aspects here. God is not the author of confusion.

My suggestion is for you to stay with the “simple’ salvation message for now.
Continual expounding of hypothetical issues will only further your confusion.

Not everyone was meant to understand beyond salvation in this Age.
In fact, by God’s word, He has even sent strong delusion upon some people that are confounded and follow lies, as in the “pre-trib” escapism traditions of men.

No, I do not know everything and do not ever make such claims, however; I do know what the Holy Spirit expresses as to what I am supposed to understand. The Holy Spirit is my guide. Maybe you need more guidance from the Holy Spirit and you can have it if, one-you are strong enough in faith to ask and receive it, and two-if it is God’s will that you learn beyond salvation.

Think about it, and most importantly, if you are truly saved, pray about it.
If you are not washed in the blood, then you will never understand.

          • heather

No thanks. As a christian you are the robot you claim god does not want. You read your scriptures but ignore all the contradictions. If a human being did and said some of the things in the bible you would not blindly follow them. In fact you would question them. But your god gets a free pass because to question means death and punishment. Knowledge you are taught is a bad thing and leads to death.

          • JC Teecher

Maybe you need to get off your throne long enough to be humble before God, your Creator.

What you say and think of me is of no consequence whatsoever, but i was trying to be nice and you became defensive and rude. So be it.

You will understand one day, but that day may be after the return of the true Messiah. But seeing as you aren’t wanting truth, you may follow the fake one. Sad.

Maybe people are tired of being fleeced by those that want them to buy their “survival” products out of fear generated by those that sell those products?! End Times in the Bible is not about “survival”, it’s about whose going to Heaven after the great tribulation, who will reign and rule with Christ, and Satan being thrown into the Lake of Fire. Plus, no-one will “survive” unless they take the Mark of the Beast”, and that survival will only be temporary. The goats will be separated from the sheep and many will be going to Hell. That’s what is important about these times, not your flipping survival foods!

Great free online teachings!!! I wish they would have a way we could gather in our area and study together! Go to psalms 119 ministries .com (without spaces) and look for the link to where such groups meet in your area. I think most are home groups but some aren’t. You may have to go to a few before finding the right one. YOu might also want to watch some of their videos about what they believe before making a move. Some stuff is really good and some is just to start conversations about subjects usually avoided at churches but there is plenty of depth!

My family started prepping 6 years ago; this will be our third winter off-grid way up in the Cascades. We’re still learning how to live totally self-contained. There are a lot of things we didn’t consider when we first started. For example, harvesting firewood is a constant and backbreaking chore and it can be very dangerous. But without at least 10 cords of firewood by October we’ll freeze in March.

But even though we are a few years ahead of the curve, I wish we would have gone off-grid years ago so that we’d be better prepared.

I think at this point, if you just now decided to start prepping then you’re better off preparing for life in a FEMA camp.

Thank you for pointing out the biggest thing happening right now, and that is the Church’s silence. The no push back against everything is deafening and frankly quite scary in the sense that no pastor seems to be awake at the moment.

501c3 is the biggest con the church has ever been sold to keep it’s pulpits silent, in fear of retaliation by an overreaching government, baiting each Christian into full blown tyranny unlike any thing this world has ever seen. Men of faith rise up and sing, of that great and glorious King……rise up Women of the truth stand and sing to broken hearts….who can know the healing power of this awesome King of Worth SHOUT TO THE NORTH AND THE SOUTH….SING TO THE EAST AND THE WEST JESUS IS SAVIOR TO ALL….LORD OF HEAVEN AND EARTH.

  • disqus_mma68NTtry

Interesting….you shared this. My grandma passed away last week@109 years old. I didn’t attend the funeral, and missed it completely. I was asked to speak, and also to to be a pallbearer. I didn’t show. Needless to say my family was pissed….but they just don’t understand that I have watched three grandparents die in the span of 10 years, I have been frustrated with the jobs, the government, women, and people in general that I have indeed grown weary. I am not Jesus, and I am no Savior, but my burdens are heavy, and they are more than I can bear. Thank goodness for the Cross, and that he calls me friend. If it were not for that….I am not sure I could go on living. My fear is all the lost souls I could not have rescued when the end is come. My accounting will be one for the books….and for that I have failed in the one thing he asked which was to go and tell others. Thanks for your story above.

I can totally identify! My husband and I have been chased out of many churches, giving the last-day message: to repent and return to the Torah. People don’t want to hear the tough times are coming (Dan. 12:1, “there shall be a time of trouble, such as there never was.”) The “secret rapture” lie also makes people believe they will not have to see this trouble. God help us! The hardest part is seeing your loved ones not prepare. Praise God, we found a little church that stands by the Word! You have to really pray and search for them.

Ask yourself if Jesus is God, who resurrected him on the 3rd day?

John 17:3 “Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” (NIV)

The idea of 3 in 1 is pagan; for example, Hindu g o d Shiva.

Deuteronomy 6:4 “Hear, O Israel: ‘The LORD our God, the LORD is one.'”

Satan is working tirelessly to remove YAHWEH’s name from the Bible. If you replace God’s name with LORD and call Jesus Lord, it is confusing.

There are a billion + Christians on earth yet, that contradicts with the scripture “But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a FEW find it.” Matthew 7:14 (NIV)

But as you said Jehovah’s Witnesses are more aligned with the scriptures than most denominations. Please contact your local Kingdom Hall for a free bible study. They will be glad to debate with you. ( It took me 7 years of study because I was brought up Protestant and then Catholic).

Keep searching for the truth and refrain from unclean things:
Blood, Christmas, Halloween, birthdays, politics, violence, sexual immorality, abusive speech, love of money, etc.

    All the best…

  • Too many bible thumpers out there giving their money to the preacher to live a high life. It is time to prepare and if you choose, keep Jesus in your life. He will not provide food or lead to protect yourselves. It is up to you period. May you survive and live well.

I have mixed feelings about the ripping apart of families by Nehemiah and Ezra. On one hand I believe Paul addressed this in the NT with his discourse on marriage and the leaving of partners in 1 Corinthians, however he was speaking to sa somewhat different audience, but on the other it seems to have finally bought about, within the Jewish community, a sense of seperateness from the nations in fufillment of Balaam’s prophesy in Numbers 23:9 that Israel would not be reckoned among the nations. Until then they had constantly tried to intermingle with them. This battle is taking place once again in today’s world and among “formerly” gentile believers, is the source of the confusion and backsliding within Christianity. It wants to “mix” with unbelievers!
As to the “church ” not being revealed before Pentecost, the word “ekklesia” is used all throughout the Septigant which is the original of the English word “church”. Therefore it was revealed, at least in the language of Scripture, about 300 years before Pentecost.
Reagarding he change in menu, if it changed at Pentecost, why, 10 years later, is peter in Acts 10:9-16 when God tells him to arise, kill and eat unclean meat, responding that he has never eaten anything unclean?
I know preachers and theologians like to use this passage as evidence to say we can eat anything, but ,1) If God states He never changes (mal. 3:6) but now we can eat what used to be unclean, is that not a change?
And 2) If, as Paul said the Law is spiritual (Romans 7:14), but has releveance to the physical world, then does it not make sense that there would be things in both worlds we are not allowed to eat, things that are bad for us, which is beside the fact God said very specifically not to eat certain things? Recall that the first sin was rebellion against eating only what God siad we could eat. W
