Trump’s Approval Rating Is Supposedly Only 37 Percent, But Small Business Optimism Just Hit The Highest Level In 12 Years

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

donald-trump-and-mike-pence-public-domainA Quinnipiac University Poll that was released on Tuesday says that Donald Trump only has an approval rating of 37 percent.  Meanwhile, that same survey found that Barack Obama currently has an approval rating of 55 percent.  Of course considering the fact that Quinnipiac polls showed Hillary Clinton winning the election in November easily, perhaps we should not put too much stock in these results.  But other polling organizations have come up with similar results.  In fact, an average of nine recent polls indicates that Trump’s approval rating is somewhere around 42 percent.  So without a doubt there are a whole lot of people out there that do not like Donald Trump.

But the business community sure seems thrilled with him.  We just witnessed one of the greatest post-election stock market rallies in American history, numerous corporations have already announced that they will be bringing jobs back to the United States, and Bloomberg is reporting that small business optimism has hit the highest level that we have seen since the end of 2004…

Optimism among America’s small businesses soared in December by the most since 1980 as expectations about the economy’s prospects improved dramatically in the aftermath of the presidential election.

The National Federation of Independent Business’s index jumped 7.4 points last month to 105.8, the highest since the end of 2004, from 98.4. While seven of the 10 components increased in December, 73 percent of the monthly advance was due to more upbeat views about the outlook for sales and the economy, the Washington-based group said.

On the surface, all of these numbers appear to be contradictory.  If the American people are not feeling good about our new president, then it doesn’t make a whole lot of sense that the small business community would be so optimistic.

But of course the American people are not a single monolithic entity in 2017.  We are a deeply, deeply divided nation, and Donald Trump is the single most polarizing political figure to come along in generations.

Those that love Trump tend to really love Trump, and most of those people are quite optimistic about the future.

And those that hate Trump tend to really hate Trump.  Yesterday, I explained that the radical left wants to transform Inauguration Day into an epic riot, and many of his opponents are planning to spend the next four years doing whatever they can to destroy him.

Just look at what happened today.  The top story on CNN was about how the Russians supposedly have “compromising personal and financial information” on Donald Trump that they can use to blackmail him…

Classified documents presented last week to President Obama and President-elect Trump included allegations that Russian operatives claim to have compromising personal and financial information about Mr. Trump, multiple US officials with direct knowledge of the briefings tell CNN.

The allegations were presented in a two-page synopsis that was appended to a report on Russian interference in the 2016 election. The allegations came, in part, from memos compiled by a former British intelligence operative, whose past work US intelligence officials consider credible. The FBI is investigating the credibility and accuracy of these allegations, which are based primarily on information from Russian sources, but has not confirmed many essential details in the memos about Mr. Trump.

If you want to read the full 35 page report, you can do so right here.  Some of the things in the report are so absolutely laughable that I don’t know how anyone could possibly take them seriously.  And one particularly absurd section of the report was reportedly originally fabricated by some pranksters on the Internet, but you probably won’t hear that in the mainstream media.  CNN is standing by the legitimacy of these documents, and apparently U.S. Senator John McCain thought so much of them that he handed copies of them over to FBI Director James Comey on December 9th

CNN has also learned that on December 9, Senator John McCain gave a full copy of the memos — dated from June through December, 2016 — to FBI Director James Comey. McCain became aware of the memos from a former British diplomat who had been posted in Moscow. But the FBI had already been given a set of the memos compiled up to August 2016, when the former MI6 agent presented them to an FBI official in Rome, according to national security officials.

The raw memos on which the synopsis is based were prepared by the former MI6 agent, who was posted in Russia in the 1990s and now runs a private intelligence gathering firm. His investigations related to Mr. Trump were initially funded by groups and donors supporting Republican opponents of Mr. Trump during the GOP primaries, multiple sources confirmed to CNN. Those sources also said that once Mr. Trump became the nominee, further investigation was funded by groups and donors supporting Hillary Clinton.

According to this report, the Russian government has been “cultivating, supporting and assisting” Donald Trump “for at least five years”.

So has Donald Trump really been a super secret Russian agent all this time?

Of course not.  The mainstream media has decided to peddle Internet hoaxes, rampant speculation and fake news as legitimate journalism, and it is absolutely disgraceful.

But we are going to see much more of this.  The goal is to destroy Donald Trump, and this is a game that will be played daily now for the next four years.

We are a nation that is bitterly divided, and after everything that has already been said and done I don’t know if Donald Trump could bring us back together even if he wanted to do so.

The protests against Trump in Washington D.C. start in just four days.  I think that the period of time immediately surrounding Inauguration Day is going to set the tone for how Trump’s first year is going to play out.

I am definitely hoping for the best, but I also know that there is a large portion of the population that considers him to be the personification of everything that is wrong with America, and they have absolutely no intention of following his leadership.

It has been said that a house divided against itself will surely fall, and America is a deeply, deeply divided nation in early 2017.

Perhaps Trump can prove the naysayers wrong and bring us all together in unity, but at this point I am not optimistic that any president will be able to do this ever again.

  • Cinderella Man

These are garbage polls. The same pollsters are saying Obeezy has a absurdly high approval rating aren’t asking the right people. I’m sure they are based in the coastal areas and not asking middle America what they think.. I’m not surprised about McCain and Graham either. Those two fake Repubs will be looking for jobs come next election cycle. Maybe McShame can get a job being a used car dealership owner and Graham can take a flying leap for all I care. Yeah this country is divided. We were divided before with Barry but us conservatives are mature enough to suck it up and go on with our lives the best we can. Not so with these crybabies. But I have a warning for all the Snowflakes SJWs libtards communist sympathiers and America haters.. We the patriotic hard working people of this country have had enough. We have kept our mouths shut for 8 years and we aren’t taking it anymore. If you want to go to war so be it. We have veterans patriots blue collar workers and bad azzes on our side and if you want to keep poking the bear you do so at your own peril…and you’re gonna feel pretty stupid when you find out you are screwing with the wrong people!!! End rant #MAGA #boycotthollywood

    • socalbeachdude

      100% correct.

      • William Lutz

That’s one reason why I despise him.

    • socalbeachdude

As to Hollywood, there are only about 6 major studios here and most of them are being very rapidly sold to companies in the People’s Republic of China in exchange for their monopoly money (they’ve expanded their money supply by more than $30 trillion from around $3 trillion) over the past 10 years, so Hollywood is getting pretty much what they deserve and can proudly go full on Communist rather than having to hide behind a liberal Socialist veil over the coming years! McCarthyism has finally come full circle!

      • CASTIEL

What??? The chinks bought the studios? Trump is right…. the russians are not the enemy…..The biggest enemy to mankind and freedom is China….They must be stopped!!

        • Richard O. Mann

China owns us. It’s just that most folks don’t know it. We owe them so much money right now, all they need to do is start collecting. We will have to sell them some cities and who knows what else. Wonder if they would be interested in Chicago? HA!

          • socalbeachdude

False. China’s economy is only about half the size of the US economy and is in a dire state of collapse. China owns less than 7% of the US government debt and 93% is owned by other parties.

          • pastriesqueen

Why don’t we trade Hollywood for our debt to china? I’ll be very glad.

          • Richard O. Mann

I doubt China wants Hollywood. Too crazy for them.

Meghan McCain rips into Meryl Streep calling her a ‘sanctimonious snowflake liberal’ whose Golden Globes speech is ‘why Trump won’ and ‘will help him get re-elected’

‘This Meryl Streep speech is why Trump won. And if people in Hollywood don’t start recognizing why and how – you will help him get re-elected,’ wrote Meghan McCain on Twitter Sunday night.

    • William Lutz

That RINO skank better choose her words more prudently next time. Her criticism sounds incoherent.

      • socalbeachdude

Hardly, but your words certainly are incoherent!

        • aldownunder

          The man is a fool

  • socalbeachdude

Americans were at their highest level of optimism in the Summer and Fall of 2007 just as the Grand Global Depression went into full swing in August 2007 and just before the FASB Rule 157 “mark to market” accounting debacle wreaked havoc in the United States in 2008-2009 with markets plummeting 50% or more. Crashes always happen at MARKET TOPS when enthusiasm hits euphoric highs and when “everybody” thinks the economy and markets can only go up.

  • socalbeachdude

Worse “than the 1994 ‘Bond Massacre,’” with “sustained double-digit losses on bonds, subpar growth in developed markets, and balance sheet risks for banking systems….”

The backdrop: after 36 years of bond bull market, the amount of US bonds has ballooned to $47 trillion, up 24% from just ten years ago:

    •US Treasurys ($19.8 trillion),
    •Municipal bonds ($3.8 trillion)
    •Mortgage related bonds ($8.9 trillion)
    •Corporate bonds ($8.6 trillion)
    •Federal Agency bonds ($2 trillion)
    •Money Markets ($2.6 trillion)
    •Asset backed Securities ($1.3 trillion)

Bonds dwarfs the US stock market capitalization ($27 trillion). Bonds are a global phenomenon with even bigger bubbles elsewhere, particularly in NIRP countries, such as those in Europe, and in Japan. That’s why bonds matter. They’re enormous. And the damage they can do to investors is huge.

A Message For Donald Trump and the 73% Who Did Not Vote for Him – Robert David Steele

    Dear Mr. Trump,

I am among the tens of millions who voted for you, and also among the twenty thousand or so that spent fifteen months obsessively devoted to getting you elected. I went to bed in tears on election night, only to be woken at midnight by my wife to watch the miracle unfold. I have never had an answer to over twenty-five attempts including three personal visits to Paul Manafort’s office in Alexandria to tell you what I am going to post below. Perhaps someone will read this and in a second miracle, you will hear my voice. I am going to make seven points with seven paragraphs and seven graphics.

#1 You are not only an accidental president, you are a fringe president. 27% of the eligible voters elected you (1% more than elected Barack Obama). 26% of the eligible voters hate you with the passion common to the brain-washed or brain-dead, and 47% did not vote at all.

You won against all odds (20-1 at best, 200-1 at worst) because Hillary Clinton was not able to use the same electronic voting fraud against you that she used to steal thirteen primaries from Bernie Sanders. That was the big one; in combination with her calling us all “deplorables,” her spaz attack in NYC, her doctor and nurse in constant attendance, and of course the emails leaked by insiders not the Russians, John Brennan is a liar plain and simple she lost more than you won.

A miracle. Get a grip. You do not represent all of us, you represent 27% of us, and fixing that should be your first priority. Here is the political landscape note that the Establishment the two-party tyranny that opposed you to the bitter end controls 30% of the vote. Your mission is to mobilize the 47% who did not vote in 2016, toward joining the Movement you lead in time to impact on 2018, while embracing the Sandernistas and the Libertarians and Tea Party Conservatives to the fullest extent.

Opinion: When will Trump voters realize they’ve been had?

By Brett Arends – Dow Jones

President-elect’s pledge to ‘drain the swamp’ is all wet

Hey, Trumpkins — have you worked it out yet? Is the truth dawning on you, or are you still in the dark?

See if you can put it all together from the resumes of those in President-elect Donald Trump’s closest political circle so far:

Treasury secretary nominee Steven Mnuchin: Goldman Sachs.

Chief strategist Steve Bannon: Goldman Sachs.

Transition adviser Anthony Scaramucci: Goldman Sachs.

Commerce secretary nominee Wilbur Ross: Rothschild & Co.

Possible budget director Gary Cohn: Goldman Sachs.

Potential secretary of state Mitt Romney: Bain Capital.

Trump is just getting started. Check out that “swamp draining.” The whole thing is just draining before our eyes! Take that, Wall Street! Take that, “international financial cabal!”

Trumpkins, you’ve been scammed. There’s a sucker in this game — and it’s you.

And by the way, what’s the best-performing stock in the Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, +0.33% since the election?

    Goldman Sachs.

2016 marked the end of the biggest bull market of our lifetime

In 2016, the nearly 40-year bond bull market ended. Date of death: July 11.

And this was the biggest economic event of the year.

“The biggest of 2016, in a weird way, was not Trump, was not Brexit, was not the end of the OPEC war back in February, it was July 11,” Michael Hartnett, chief investment strategist at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, said at a panel on Wednesday.

“On July 11, 2016, a couple weeks after Brexit, the 30-year Treasury yield fell to 2.088%. On that day, the Swiss government could borrow money for 50 years — out to 2076, a year most of us won’t be around to see — at a negative interest rate.

“And that day was the day that the greatest bull market ever, in the bond market, ended. Since then, yields have been rising. And that without a doubt is the biggest event of 2016.”

For many investment professionals, a secular decline in interest rates is the only reality they’ve ever known. Since the Paul Volcker-led Federal Reserve cranked interest rates up sharply in the early 1980s to end US inflation once and for all, bond yields have been on a steady decline. Bond prices rise when yields fall.

Through the decades, however, there have been episodes of yields rising. And this is not the first time strategists have called for the end of the bond bull market. But since the early 1980s — nearly 40 years ago — interest rates in the US, and most major developed markets, have been in decline.

A move towards interest rates rising, not falling, has implications not just for financial markets but the real economy, too. Rising interest rates will pressure mortgages. Rising interest rates also make it more expensive for governments, and businesses, to borrow money.

And while interest rates still remain historically low despite recent moves higher — the US 10-year Treasury yield was sitting near 2.4% on Thursday, up from around 1.8% just before the election and its record-low of 1.366% hit back in July; the 30-year Treasury yield was around 3.08% on Thursday — the increase in rates has, in part, been in anticipation of more government spending.

Airport Shooter Converted to Islam, Identified as Aashiq Hammad Years Before Joining Army

The Ft. Lauderdale Airport shooter is a Muslim convert who years before joining the U.S. Army took on an Islamic name (Aashiq Hammad), downloaded terrorist propaganda and recorded Islamic religious music online, according to public records dug up by the investigative news site of an award-winning, California journalist. This is pertinent information that the Obama administration apparently wants to keep quiet, bringing up memories of the Benghazi cover up, in which the president and his cohorts knowingly lied to conceal that Islamic terrorists attacked the U.S. Special Mission in Libya.

Information is slowly trickling out that links the Ft. Lauderdale Airport shooter to radical Islam while the official story from authorities is that the gunman is a mentally ill, Hispanic Army veteran named Esteban Santiago that became unhinged after a tour in Iraq. Only one mainstream media outlet mentions the possibility of Santiago’s “jihadist identity,” burying it in a piece about New York possibly being his initial target. A paragraph deep in the story mentions that investigators recovered Santiago’s computer from a pawn shop and the FBI is examining it to determine whether he created a “jihadist identity for himself using the name Aashiq Hammad…” The reset of the traditional mainstream media coverage promotes the government rhetoric that omits any ties to terrorism even though early on a photo surfaced of Santiago making an ISIS salute while wearing a keffiyeh, a Palestinian Arab scarf.

The public records uncovered in the days after the massacre suggest Santiago (Hammad) is a radical Islamic terrorist that’s seriously committed to Islam. Besides taking on a Muslim name, he recorded three Islamic religious songs, including the Muslim declaration faith (“there is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his messenger”) known as the Shahada. He also posted a thread about downloading propaganda videos from Islamic terrorists on a weapons and explosives forum. The investigative news site that unearthed this disturbing information connected the dots between Santiago, who is of Puerto Rican descent, and Hammad, an identity he created in 2007.

This week a prominent Ft. Lauderdale businessman and longtime resident addressed a letter to the city’s mayor and commissioners blasting county and federal officials for covering up that “Aashiq Hammad, not Esteban Santiago, attacked our city and county.” The businessman, respected Ft. Lauderdale real estate entrepreneur Jim Morlock, specifically names Broward County’s elected sheriff Scott Israel, Florida senator Bill Nelson, the first to identify Santiago as the shooter on national television, and congressman Debbie Wasserman Schultz, ousted last summer as Democratic National Committee (DNC) chair over a scandalous plot to damage Bernie Sanders during the primary.

“Since when does a US Senator (Bill Nelson), not law enforcement, be the one to so quickly release this terrorist’s Hispanic name but nothing about his more relevant Islamic background?” the letter asks. Obama must have told Sen. Nelson to keep this from looking like a Muslim Terrorist attack during the last 12 days of his watch. Bad for his legacy.” Morlock goes on to state that it’s “better to portray this atrocity as white Hispanic Alaskan mental Iraq war vet gun violence.” The real estate entrepreneur proceeds to reveal that Santiago lives in walking distance to the only mosque in Alaska, was radicalized before he entered the military and was knowingly allowed to serve despite his Islamic sympathies thanks to “Obama’s PC military.”

    • Mike Smithy

Very interesting, I suspected that he was a Muslim convert and that he feigned the whole “Hearing Voices” B.S. to save him from the death penalty.

Mental illness is real, and auditory hallucinations are common in mentally ill people. Mental illnesses are real diseases just like heart disease, cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, etc.

        • socalbeachdude

That does not in any way change the fact that this Muslim terrorist person committed a HEINOUS CRIMINAL ACT.

Why is anyone, still paying any attention to polls? At best their sampling method is so off, accuracy does not occur. More likely, they are just paid propaganda which is meaningless..The only way to stop the lies, is to totally ignore them. The spin doctors, and liars, are quickly out of work. When the majority. stop paying any attention to them.

The ‘polls’ have been used in the past to steer our opinions–much like the verbage telling us hardly anyone showed up to Trumps rallies vs Hillary’s. Our eyes don’t deceive. Stop believing ‘any’ poll and start focusing on what you know to be true. Trump is not in office, nor anyone else, for popularity. He’s there to do a job as are the rest of the bunch. He knows this as do those who understand THEY work for us. We want results not popularity.

    • Mike Smithy

Yes. The methodology of polling conducted by Quinnipiac sucks. Reality often lies outside of their statistical deviation window. Very incompetent/unreliable at best and intentionally dishonest at worst.

      • socalbeachdude

        100% correct.

      • James

IBD predicted a 45-43 Trump National count win a four way race

In the end, Clinton won national by 48-46.

Within the margin of error, by 5 pp, but still wrong

        • Mike Smithy

I would venture to say that Trump likely won the popular vote when you factor out all of the illegal aliens and dead people that voted for Clinton. I wonder why the MSM doesn’t want to talk about the massive voter fraud that occurred in Detroit for the benefit of Clinton?

          • James

Yes, the overvotes in some precints were countered by undervotes in others.
Would you like to tell me how many votes were not cast as a result of long lines in Michigan, ridding of early voting in North Carolina, and closing of DMV offices in black rural Alabama?

I can’t help but wonder if the polls were to state that Trump has an approval rating of 73% would you argue against it?

      • jakartaman

      • horn blower

The polls have proven themselves to be ‘shills’, not to be taken for their word. So, a 73% rating in favor of Trump would matter not, again, its not a popularity contest.

        • James

Ok. Why would polling companies want to delegitimize themselves?

          • socalbeachdude

All of the polling companies proved themselves to be highly biased and very corrupt idiots with their sampling methodology and missed by miles.

          • James

Yes, that is why they got polling right in 45 states along with the national popular vote!

          • James

Highly biased? Even Ramussen and WSJ, whom predicted a Clinton win?
Again, polls used older models with less rural turnout based on the moniker “past peformance is the best predictor of future peformance”

          • Mike Smithy

For the same reason that the MSM doesn’t care about delegitimizing themselves. For them, ideology is the driving force and if they have to lie, then so be it. I have no doubt that many polling companies were trying to suggest that Clinton had an insurmountable lead and if you would be wasting your time by voting for Trump.

          • James

Yes, the way to make Clinton win is to turn off turnout!
Also, the MSM is sooooo liberal. That is why the biggest news story was about Clinton’s emails!

        • James

Polling companies got the national vote with absolute precision.
Polling – Clinton wins national vote by 2-3 pp.

Result – Clinton wins by 2 pp

          • socalbeachdude

            Laughably false.

        • James

Polling, however, is a prediction based off past actions. White voter turnout was lower before, such the white survey poll was weighted less.

State specific polling, when it is wrong, tends to be wrong in a specific way across the nation. The polls predicted the Northeast Corridor, Mid-Atlantic, South, and Pacific Corridors with near perfection but missed in MI, WI, PA, all states with large white industrial first time voters.

Take STAT 101 before you act as a giant smartass

          • socalbeachdude

Honestly, Donald Trump is a highly divisive man. The things he said about Mexican immigrants, the alienation of Muslims, his narcissism, the inciting of violence at his rallies, his proposal for a trade war, his obnoxious statements regarding women. He is unfit and unqualified to be president as far as I’m concerned.

And the things his opponent, Hitlery said about conservative, Christians, patriots, and those who esteem the Constitution, calling us deplorables??????

Trump speaks against Muslims because their religion or beytter yet, their ideology is Islam, and the goal and agenda of Islam is to conquer the world and institute sharia, (gods law) on the entire world.

All who call those who critisize Islam as islamphobes, have no clue what real Islam is and how when Islam gains the “upper house” things begin to change and people begin to be oppressed and murdered by FAITHFUL Muslims.

Please learn about Islamic goals and agenda, and look at the chaos Islam creates on every non-muslim nation it visits.

I encourage you to look at how Islam is destroying Germany right now.

Yet all you sheeple simple want to welcome them, hold hands and sing kumbaya and think that Islam will “coexist” with western values…..they will not!

“the inciting of violence at his rallies..”

Are you drinking when you write your posts????

The ones INCITING VIOLENCE at trump rallies were democrats holding Mexican flags and other liberal progressive hitlery worshippers.

The reason so many Latinos hate Trump is that moist do not know how to be free thinkers, and simply believe the pied Piper of propaganda, and many are afraid that trump is going to call them out as illegals and deport them.

And before you call me racist towards Latinos, my wife is from Peru.

CNN , Buzzfeed , MSNBC welcome to the next 4-8 years of fake news and the Trump pushback, get your popcorn and enjoy the show!!

We could see a good bit of blood on the streets if the left and some of the crazy groups who say they are going to do all they can to disrupt the festivities, get out of hand. There will be more than enough armed security on site in and around DC for the next couple of weeks to take care of any who decided to get violent. I hate to see things this bad, and as badly divided as this country is, we may be looking at the last days of America. I’m still waiting for events starting the 15th of January concerning the two state solution for Israel. Trump is also still saying that he will move the American embassy to Jerusalem once he is in office. These two events are the ones to watch for.

When Obama was inaugurated in 2008 over 1 million people were there. Only 7 had to take off work. Sounds like the same 1 million are going to show up at Trump’s inauguration to cause trouble.

It was me: Sworn Trump enemy John McCain admits HE handed smear dossier to the FBI – as details surface of its bizarre journey from British ex-spy and diplomat

John McCain had admitted passing the dirty dossier claiming Moscow had a secret file on Donald Trump to the FBI. He claimed that was his only involvement in the affair. But Washington journalist Carl Bernstein reported that McCain was handed the dossier – known to be riddled with errors and almost entirely unverifiable – by a former British ambassador to Moscow. The diplomat has not been named. Bernstein also reported that the FBI were given some of the material as early as August at their station in Rome, by the ex-MI6 spy who drew it up.

…and they tell us obama’s rating is 55%. What bull sh it.
Trump has done more to help the USA before taking office than the big eared one has in eight years.

    • sister soldier

What exactly has he done? With the exception of taking premature credit for work that has yet to be completed.

      • Unarmed and pissed

He made sure clinton lost therefore insuring no “third term” for obama and all his failures.

        • sister soldier

I believe you stated that “Trump has done more to help the USA before taking office than the big eared one in eight years.” Your reply does not support your thesis.

          • Unarmed and pissed

Sure it does, he isn’t hillary or obama.
obama actively worked to diminish this country and hillary…well she is just hillary who would have done the same.

          • sister soldier

To be specific I was hoping you would list the “proven” things that Trump has done for the USA leading up to his inauguration to support your argument that “he has done more for the country” than the previous president in the past eight years. But you keep offering blanket statements. I personally don’t think Donald will finish his term if he in fact goes through with being inaugurated (no; not wishing or hoping for an untimely end but expecting a resignation or other forfeiture of duty on his part). If something is too good to be true then it is most likely the case.

Donald in my opinion is being just a little to boisterous and generous with his money which is in stark contrast to the billionaire mindset. I see a man so over the top that it raises many red flags for me such as is this all a sham? [In his widely anticipated first press conference in 24 weeks, the president-elect explained that he won’t divest from the Trump Organization, won’t use a blind trust, and will give his profits from foreign governments directly to the U.S. Treasury.] “give his profits from foreign governments directly to the U.S. Treasury?” Sorry, I smell a rat.

          • Unarmed and pissed

Opinions are like bellybuttons, everyone has one.
If this is the first rat you have smelt in the last eight years…see an ENT.

NAMED: The former British spy behind ‘dirty Kremlin dossier’ that claimed Trump was in bed both with Putin – AND pervert prostitutes. Hunt on for former UK ambassador who handed report to McCain

An ex-MI6 agent has been accused of being the source of a salacious file about the billionaire’s sex life that the Kremlin allegedly planned to use to blackmail him but now appears to be fake.

The 35-page briefing, which is littered with spelling mistakes, includes an unsubstantiated and far-fetched claim Trump watched prostitutes perform a ‘golden shower (urination) show’ in the Presidential Suite of a Moscow hotel on a bed once slept in by Barack Obama and his wife Michelle all because he ‘hated’ them.

Mr Trump has today called the dossier ‘fake’ and ‘phony’ and said ‘sick people put that c**p together’, even suggesting that US secret services had leaked it to damage his reputation before his inauguration.

The row has links to Britain and threatens to overshadow Theresa May’s visit to Washington later this month at a time when she is desperate to secure a post-Brexit free trade deal with his administration.

A Downing Street spokeswoman said today the Government was ‘not aware’ of the allegation that a former ambassador was involved in passing on the memos to Mr McCain. British MPs told MailOnline today that Mrs May must act swiftly to reassure the president-elect that the report was not UK-sponsored.

Investors Bolt Mexico as Peso Enters Free Fall

Global investors are fleeing Mexico’s financial markets, sending the peso to record lows on mounting concerns that Donald Trump’s trade policy could end the country’s privileged status among developing countries.

The peso on Wednesday tumbled to another all-time low against the dollar as Mr. Trump pledged to change U.S. trade policy with Mexico. “Mexico has taken advantage of the United States,” he said during his press conference. “It’s not going to happen anymore.”

The Mexican currency weakened 0.3%—at 21.8609 from 21.8009 late Tuesday—again frustrating Mexican central-bank efforts to slow the currency’s decline. Bank officials said Tuesday that they spent $2 billion last week to prop up the peso, which has weakened 16% against the dollar since the U.S. election.

  • James

” Of course considering the fact that Quinnipiac polls showed Hillary Clinton winning the election in November easily, perhaps we should not put too much stock in these results. But other polling organizations have come up with similar results.”

She won the popular vote didn’t she?
National polls forecast popular, not electoral vote.

    • socalbeachdude

No. Hellery most certainly did not win the popular polls if the ILLEGAL ALIEN VOTERS who illegally voted are excluded from the results – primarily here in California where more than 2 illegals committed FEDERAL FELONY FRAUD by voting. But that won’t be happening again as we’ll soon start deporting them to wherever they came from before illegally entering the United States of America.

      • James

“where more than 2 illegals committed FEDERAL FELONY FRAUD by voting”

2 illegal votes. Oh my. After all, we know that the 2000 election in Florida was decided by only 2 votes and not 200% more than 2.

Clinton final vote total with 2 illegal votes: 65,844,954
Trump’s final vote total with 1 illegal vote(duplicate voting in Iowa by 1 voter): 62,979,879

        Without illegal votes
        Clinton final vote total – 2: 65,844,952
Trump final vote total – 1:62,979,879

        Clinton still wins bigly!

        • socalbeachdude

Now group up and get over it.

        • BATTLE LOG

California, Illinois, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Vermont, West Virginia, Wyoming, and Washington, D.C. do NOT require any form of identification to vote.
There’s estimated to be 11.1 million – 20 million illegal immigrants in this country, many of which hate Trump and are bitterly racist towards whites.
You seriously believe that only 2 illegal votes were cast?

          • James

Yes, but in those states, you still need to register to vote.
What do you need to provide to register? Proof of citizenship and Photo ID!!

  • James

“But the business community sure seems thrilled with him. We just witnessed one of the greatest post-election stock market rallies in American history”

    Market irrationally.
Interesting, I never saw you giving credit when the DJIA and SP soared under Obama.

    • socalbeachdude

Obola had nothing to do with that whatsoever. and the markets are just MASSIVE BUBBLES about to burst.

      • James

Are you willing to give trump credit for the post-election surge?

        • socalbeachdude

No, not in the slightest. That was just stupid manic speculators who are going to get slammed with huge losses as the markets crash.

  • James

    Yes, Michael.
The Small Business Community is a small subgroup of the entire United States population. Such your thesis that these numbers contradict is BS

    • socalbeachdude

More than two-third of all private sector jobs in the USA come from small businesses and they are the most important sector in the USA as far as the economy is concerned and are the only way to get real growth back into the US economy.

      • James

        Strawman argument.
Snyder’s claim that small business owner optimism and Trump approval ratings as somehow inconsistent is false because small business owners make up a minority in the populace.

        • socalbeachdude

Just who do you think provides jobs?

          • James

            Consumer consumption drives job growth
            Again strawman.

Small business owners does not equal small business employees.

  • James

Perhaps Trump can prove the naysayers wrong and bring us all together in unity, but at this point I am not optimistic that any president will be able to do this ever again.

Trump bringing the US together after he won on a platform of nationalism, exclusionism and bigotry? And the electoral college makes it possible for a handful of grumpy laid-off manufacturing workers to swing elections.

    • socalbeachdude

There was no “bigotry” whatsoever in anything Donald ran on in the election and deporting illegal aliens and enforcing strict immigration laws ALREADY ON THE BOOKS against anyone attempting to enter the US is certainly not “bigotry” or “nationalism” or “exclusionism” but rather just straightforward and proper handling of LAW AND ORDER ISSUES.

We have BEEN in the “George Costanza” era for YEARS now. Where have you been??

  • mtntrek3

According to the Bible, I wouldn’t put much hope in any government official to correct our problems. We’re late in the day. Faith in God is my humble advice.

    1. Trump does not advocate “banning an entire religion”. He wants to carefully screen any Islamic immigrants that come to this country. In addition to this being an excellent exercise in common sense, it will further serve to decrease suspicion and help race relations in our country.

    2. I have no idea what fake news outlet you pulled this one from. If the Mexican in question is OR was an ILLEGAL immigrant, he’s 100% correct!

    3. More fake news…

    4. This is a bit of a strawman but Hillary DID start the birth certificate rumor! Do you criticise her for that as well?

    5. That line was f*cking hilarious. You and the rest of America need to quit being such sensitive little pu$$ies and learn how to take a joke

    6. Hillary IS corrupt for accepting money from Jewish bankers, and by the looks of things, I’d say Trump is also!

    7. We absolutely should close our borders to illegal immigrants. Why on earth is that so unreasonable to you lefties? Probably because you shelter yourselves from minorities in your gated communities.

    8. These trade deals in question have only served to make the rich richer and have resulted in tons of manufacturing jobs leaving America. We can also thank unions for that…

    9. …..can you think of a better way to motivate companies to bring jobs back to the US?

Final thought. You ARE aware that people like you are the reason Trump won the election, right?

    • James

      1. “Complete and total shutdown of Muslims entering the United States”
“We’re going to have to look at a lot of things very closely. We’re going to have to look at the mosques. We’re going to have to look very, very carefully.”

      2. Not fake news.Raw video from his rallies ” “He’s a Mexican. We’re building a wall between here and Mexico.””

      3. Not fake news. His twitter account, on July 12, 2012.
I wonder what the answer is on @BarackObama’s college application to the question: place of birth? Maybe the (cont)

      4. Yes, Hillary started in 2004, when she was a Senator(D-NY) when she was voting on nearly every one of Obama’s recomendations

      6. But is she corrupt from Jewish bankers or bankers in general? And why specifically jewish

      7. A wall ignores the main source of illegal immigration, overstayed visas. Furthermore, a wall is expensive and does not work.

      8. Yes, NAFTA and not automation has caused sooooooo many jobs to leave the United States. This is why US Manufacturing output is 47% higher than before NAFTA according to the Heritage Foundation

      9. How about providing workers with skills for jobs that are hard/impossible to outsource? Teaching, healthcare, HVAC, Statistical analysis, etc. It is evident that even with increased manufacturing output, jobs are down, such it is clearly automation and not trade deals

Yes, I do realize that the majority of American’s do not care to look at facts and believe in snappy slogans and while blaming their issues on other people. Hence, a Trump victory.
