What It Feels Like To Be Homeless For The Holidays In America

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

child-sitting-in-door-and-crying-public-domainCould you imagine spending the holidays in a homeless shelter, in a tent city surrounded by drug addicts and prostitutes, or in a sleeping bag on the cold, hard streets of an urban jungle?  Unfortunately, that is what real life looks like for an increasing number of Americans.  Most of the time when we think of “homeless people”, the image that comes into our minds is one of a grizzled old man asking for some spare change, but the truth is that vast numbers of women and children in our country do not have anywhere to live.  In fact, Poverty USA has reported that last year a grand total 1.6 million U.S. children stayed either in a homeless shelter or in some other form of emergency housing.  And you never hear the mainstream media report this number, but the truth is that the number of homeless children in the United States has risen by 60 percent since the “end” of the last recession.   For the moment the wealthy are getting wealthier, but meanwhile things have just continued to get harder and harder for those that are struggling to survive in this economy.

In Wal-Mart parking lots and campgrounds all over America tonight, you will find formerly middle class families that are living in cars, trucks and recreational vehicles during this holiday season.  Most of them will never complain and will try to put on a happy face outwardly, but inside the worry and fear are eating them alive.

As the weather gets cold, many homeless Americans head for warmer climates, and this is one of the factors that is fueling the unprecedented homelessness crisis in Los Angeles.  The following comes from L.A. Weekly

By nearly every metric, Los Angeles has the worst homelessness crisis of any city in America. According to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, there are more people suffering from chronic homelessness in L.A. than anywhere in the country, and their number is growing at a faster clip than those in New York City.

One homeless man in Los Angeles has decided to do what he can to make the best of his circumstances.  He has transformed a depressingly bleak area underneath a freeway underpass into his own “personal paradise”

A homeless man who turned a freeway underpass into his personal paradise by furnishing it with a make-shift jacuzzi and four-poster bed has become a viral hit and unlikely tourist attraction.

Ceola Waddell Jr, 59, began living in the underpass in L.A.’s  110 freeway near Coliseum six months ago.

He has since foraged two porcelain toilets, discarded refrigerators, couches and two beds to transform the space into his personal refuge.

You can’t help but smile when you read what Mr. Waddell has done, but the truth is that the homelessness crisis in the state is rapidly getting way out of control.  In fact, Los Angeles is swamped by so many homeless people at this point that the L.A. City Council has asked California Governor Jerry Brown to officially declare a state of emergency.

On the east coast things are getting really, really bad as well.

You may find this hard to believe, but the number of homeless people in New York City has never been higher

The number of homeless people living in New York City has reached a record-high.

The Department of Homeless Services reported there were 60,252, up 200 in two weeks.

Now, some are saying the city’s current plan to combat homelessness isn’t working.

So why is this happening?

The stock market is at an all-time high and the mainstream media keeps telling us that things are getting better, and yet poverty just continues to rise.

Other than the very wealthy, the truth is that things are not getting any better for virtually everyone else.  In fact, it has been reported that over half of all New Yorkers “are teetering on the brink of homelessness”…

More than half of all New Yorkers are teetering on the brink of homelessness — without enough cash in the bank to cover them in the event of a disaster or lost job, a troubling new study has found.

Nearly 60 percent of all New Yorkers don’t have enough emergency savings to cover at least three months’ worth of household expenses like food, housing and rent, according to a recent report from the Association for Neighborhood & Housing Development.

This is one of the reasons why I am always encouraging my readers to build up their emergency funds.  Sadly, the cold, hard reality of the matter is that most of the country is only a couple of paychecks away from losing everything.

To give you an idea of how deep the suffering can be this time of the year for those that have already lost it all, I want to share with you a story of a precious little dog named Ollie

When Ollie was found, his fur was matted and so long you couldn’t see his adorable little eyes. He was clearly in need of dire help.

A woman and her sister saw Ollie outside her apartment, shivering in the freezing cold. They brought him in and quickly called the Michigan Humane Society to help take care of the dog.

Once Ollie was brought in, it was discovered just how sick he is. Had he not been rescued, he would have suffered a very painful death alone in the streets.

Very few people could come across a hurting dog like Ollie without helping him out, but what about the countless numbers of our fellow Americans that no longer have a warm home and will spend the night shivering in the cold?

Look, the truth is that you don’t have to have a whole lot of resources in order to make a difference.  In Tennessee, there is a group of elderly women that refer to themselves as “the bag ladies” that are turning old plastic bags into sleeping mats for the homeless

It all starts with cutting plastic bags into strips, tying those strips together, and rolling them into a ball.

The Bag Ladies call it “plarn,” instead of yarn. They then crochet the “plarn” into mats.

It takes 600 bags to make an 18 square foot mat. So far, this year, they have used 52,000 bags to make 88 mats.

“This is not young ladies doing this. This is older ladies with the arthritis,” said Akin.

How marvelous is that?

A single act of kindness can make a world of difference.

In the months ahead, temperatures are only going to get colder and economic conditions are only going to get tougher for those that are already living in poverty.

I would encourage all of us to think about what we can do to make a difference for those that are deeply hurting this time of the year.

Some homeless people are homeless by choice. Years ago I was in a church that had a ministry to the homeless. During the winter months a group of us would drive up to Baltimore on a Friday night with food and blankets. We would approach people we saw sleeping on the streets and offer them a hot meal and a blanket. We also shared the Gospel with them. Most were very grateful, and it was heartbreaking that we couldn’t do any more to relieve their suffering. But we met some who told us they were living on the streets by choice. One man told us that he loved it, which I just couldn’t fathom.

    • nick

I was homeless by choice and it was one of the most adventurous times of my life. I closed up my buisness, threw a few things in my truck, and hit the road. I became aware in a short time that the american dream was mostly a nightmare built on fear of failure. Once I divested myself of stuff, there was so much freedom. I could choose where and when, and who i wanted contact with. I met some of the most intelligent “homeless” people, a lot by choice also, and explored places I never would have ventured had I stayed in my repetitive existence as a debt slave. “I owe, I owe, it’s off to work I go”, was not my mantra anymore. Now I am receiving “my” entitlement I paid into for too many years, s.s., and living in the LOS, time to bike to the beach on this lovely “winter” day 8 degrees north of the equator. I may get old, but will never be cold…..

There but by the grace of God, go I.

There but by P5 go I.

P5= Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance.

      • K

You actually think you can plan, for every possible contingency? Should people maybe plan, more than they do, Yes. But sometimes unforeseen things happen. Judge not, lest ye be judged.Mathew 7:1

After reading your comment, I reread mine.

I do not see where I implied “You can plan for every possible contingency.”

I also do not see the comment as judgmental.

My experience has been that prior planning prevents poor performance.

If that is wrong then do you think that this is correct….Prior planning leads to poor performance?

          • K

If you had posted, for foreseeable events. In front of what you posted, I would have agreed. Sorry if there was a misunderstanding.

  • Cinderella Man

Michael these truly are your best articles. I remember when I first found your blog back in 2010 I was sleeping in my car and tenting out in my friend’s backyard in October…your articles made me feel like I wasn’t alone. That was one of the hardest times of my life. I never felt such despair and hopelessness as I did in those dark days…I never forgot trying to look for a job only to have 60 plus people in the business at the same time filling out applications along with me. I remember the feelings of worthlessness when time after time no jobs would call back. I thought there was something wrong with me like I failed…but it was the world that failed us just like it’s failing these people that are sleeping in tents or in their cars tonight. I don’t know how to express in words the fear of night after night not knowing where to go or if a cop would find out your sleeping in a vehicle and force you to move on. Or if your car is going to run out of gas while you got the heater running.I do I will never forget and that is why I am grateful everyday for my life turning around. That’s why I read your articles and other sites so I can get an idea when the next earthquake is going to drop.I never want to be caught off guard again so I prepare and watch everyday as if it is my last. From someone who has survived the worst of this second Great Depression I never take a day for granted.

    • JC Teecher

God bless those like you, that help themselves.
I hope you have your priorities in line, and at the top of the list should be salvation, and prayer.

with God, all things are possible.

Please don’t ever think snodtblossom’s comments “matter’, it’s been on this site for years under different names, arguing with anyone it can. People do care.

        • JC Teecher

          Yes, and thank you.

See, I saw what a truly disturbed individual she is, early on, and that is why I have had her on block for many many months now.
Why would I need to see comments from a truly sick person that is headed for the gates of hell, and loves every minute of it?

          • Guest

“…that is headed for the gates of hell, and loves every minute of it?”

      • BelieveInCod

I saw what blossom wrote.. and she does have a point. Judging by his writings, Cinderella Man does have mental issues that need resolving. Most homeless have mental issues.. Its a revolving door.. back they go.

        • SnodtBlossom

Yeah, this crowd loves to sugarcoat the issues, but there’s 2 sides to every story.
Their short-term memories and lack of perspective blinds them while they jump on their fake god bandwagon.

        • Cinderella Man

Ha my only mental issues is having to listen to libtards like you…I mean look at you you worship fish

I would love to help out that young girl on the top of this article.

I really hope you can continue with this and all of your other websites

I sincerely hope the MSM and their relentless pursuit of trying to shut down what they are calling “Fake news” sites comes to an end as they are the ones that give us fake news. Big Gov wants to stomp on our 1st amendment rights and force us to accept the outright lies they tell us. I am sure you already know micheal that your sites have been targeted as a source of “Fake News” by the Main Stream Media as they try to survive a 6 or 7% public approval rating.

  • Tootsie

Section 8 housing, LIHEAP for utilities, food coupons, WIC food coupons so on and so forth. Tell me why again these people are homeless?

    • TrollingforTrolls

Waiting lists for Section 8 can be 3 plus years. Help with utilities is on a first come, first serve basis until the monthly allotment runs out Jumping through all these hoops is not as easy as you make it sound

    • David

last time I checked a family with children are on a long waiting list for emergency housing & section 8 as there is such a high demand for it. until they actually get housing they have to stay in homeless shelters that are bursting at the seams.

  • Liberty First

    Right on.

  • rentslave

The MSM will start reporting on this on Jan.21,2017,as they’ll give Trump one day to party.

  • Pete Okuhira

The day of reckoning is coming to America soon. And those wealthy cowards are going to run away from this country.

    • charlie

      AMEN to that!

  • Bob

We visited Eureka and Arcata California last August could not believe the number of homeless people sitting in the streets and walking around all over these two towns. People in San Francisco told us they worked, but the rent costs exceed their income, so they live on the street. How can humanity solve this problem?

    • True grit

Don’t be fooled by those kids in those particular towns.
Their parents are wealthy and most of them go to Humbolt University. They are just bored and playing a game for fun!

    • Whisper

If this is actually true, then a program like they used to have with legal immigrants having sponsors for work in cheaper areas or if they don’t succeed, they get shipped back would be a partial solution. You can have a full time minimum wage job here where it is less populated where I live and have an efficiency apartment for $350 a month.
For those who refuse to relocate, I wish there were apprentice jobs available to increase their skills for a better job without discrimination. College is over rated, real jobs skills are needed in employment.
I became homeless over 3 months with my little girl and the government refused to help and businesses refused to hire me until I found a way 1500 miles to my parents house where I got help. I saw the prejudice against homelessness and the laws that refused emergency help first hand. We had to beg for what little food we got, but we were far worse off than most homeless people. I didn’t even have a cardboard box!

    • Lennie Pike

Did any of them seem to be Hispanic?

One of the many reasons Trump was elected was because the middle and lower classes have been so severely neglected by the Ruling Elites. A country that can blithely spend 6 trillions (and counting) on the 911 Wars (that have failed to yield anything of value) allows this terrible situation to continue. Is it too much to ask of our government to ensure that food is available to eat, a warm bed, shower, washer and dryer be made available to anyone who needs it? You say it’s expensive? Compared to what? We have no compunction about bailing out the criminal TBTF banks with trillions and trillions but give the back of our hand to those in dire straits. At this time of the year, I always give thanks for my many blessings. I have a roof over my head, food on table, clean clothes and a stable financial situation. I consider myself lucky. Sadly, in this area as in so many others, the government has failed.

  • True grit

I wonder what cultural forces causes young men to lose the drive to win!
To be successful and reap the reward of a loving family. Its very sad what has happened in our country.

    • JC Teecher

The only explanation, other than a possible chemical imbalance, or plain demonic possession, is the mindset that they grew up being indoctrinated by.

That ideology has been ingrained by the educational system over the past few decades, along with a sense of “special treatment”, that comes from parents/a parent/ and sadly…many grandparents.
The kids are taught by actions of those parental figures, that they are more special than any other children, especially those of foreign bloodlines, and have been living in a world of rewards and rewardment for doing things that would have just been “expected” decades before.

A lot of it comes from the world of commercialized sports, where winning and receiving rewards is placed above humbleness and spiritual fulfillment.
Where ones on existence has the embedded expectations of receiving something for doing nothing, but if something is done, then a reward must follow.

Growing up in the 50’s and 60’s we never got rewards for doing what was right and expected of us. However; we did get a lot of butt whippings when we did not do what was right.
When parents began sparing the rod, they spoiled the child.

      • BenaYaHU

        Dear JC Teecher
I’ve read your comments regarding why some choose to live “homeless”.. Firstly, what you should really research and fully come to grips with, is that what you and True grit refers to as “drive to win” and “success”, are in fact deceived notions, nothing other than supportive of the globalist elitist dogma ensnaring the brain-washed masses into day-to-day slavery.. (Don’t mind the self righteous rhetoric, I know it is something you would not be able to fathom).
Secondly, do you not know or understand that through your ‘matrix-induced’ principals of “drive to win” and “success” that it precisely IS the reason why there ARE ‘homeless’ and ‘rejected’ individuals .. for pause and and THINK for a second.. by “winning” and “succeeding” it actually means stepping on/bypassing another in order to reach your position higher up this Babylonian ladder..
Yes, of course there will be those “lazy” and doped ones .. always will be in a worldly system based on globalist technocracy! But, and understand this, those who prefer to be FREE, truly liberated, are the ones who reject this false beast system for what it truly is .. ENSLAVEMENT! And yes, in reaction you will most probably defend your “drive” and “success” through any means available.. it still does NOT chance truth for what it stands..
Selah! (Pause and THINK!) For by your words you WILL be recognised and judged accordingly. Shalom!

        • JC Teecher

I see your “babylon” and raise you two fathoms of “confusion” which is what you are actually trying to rationalize as truth.

Never was nor ever will be.

          Selah..back at you, …yahu.

      • alan

I agree, I am old and I can see a distinct change in people and its getting worse. Our country maintained good values for a long time and sometimes around the 60’s we fell off a cliff.

    • Mark

Not cultural choices. SIN. SIN is the reason for all mankinds suffering!! Period. Our ONLY hope is Jesus Christ.

  • thegeorgespyman

Human reasoning is a strange bedfellow. For years we have been told the free trade model would be a panacea for all. However, the middle class has been eroded and jobs have been a top export commodity. Seeing the symptoms the vassals we call leaders call for more free trade. Why not? It has made the extremely well to do filthy rich. Like a cancer they grow on the backs of the average person and proceed by stealth. Once the victim learns of his plight it is usually too late. However, we only have our selves to blame because we have accepted the debate of diversion a common stratagem in The Art of War a book well read by the exploiter and seldom the exploited. Worse still would we ever read a detractor’s note on something as boring as international trade treaties and their use as stepping stones to a world fascist system most likely ruled by an anti-Christ? I doubt it even the Bible’s prophecies on the world system shed enough light to deter one from ever contemplating the idea in the first place. I’m sure tens of millions satiated themselves in front of Orwell’s telescreen and relished the sports pageants. I’m sure just as many surveyed the sale flyers. One of the reasons things are so cheap is that they are made in far off lands in virtual slave labor environments. That is one of the reasons why I reject consumerism.

When people ask me what sport I prefer I usually reply with world global domination. It is the sport of kings. I stopped chasing a ball a long time ago. I am interested in war and conflict and the strategies used to induce it such that I may resist it. For of what use was the sport if my son and now daughter are slaughtered in the name of the state. Perhaps that was the benefit of being alive in the Vietnam era. We saw the consummate evil. In an old comic strip named Pogo a great line was uttered. i saw the enemy and the enemy is us. That is most profound. We seldom look in the mirror at ourselves and see us as sinners in the great matriculation of learning discernment. The race goes to the swift and whether homeless or not we must sharpen our pencils as my grandfather used to say. An informed, self educated populace is difficult to master. An easily distracted one child’s play to control.

I wrote some things over the years. I call them ‘georgisms.’ You are welcome to share.

The quest for knowledge and information should never rest lest incomplete orthodoxies enslave us to falsehood

Elitists hold on to their dogmas like the weasel its carrion. Both are predators that exist on the consumption of rot.

Resistance is not futile but fundamental and we underline the fun in fundamental.

    God flushes his own toilet.

Ignorance is the one crime still punishable by death. However, we are still empowered as our own judge and jury to alter our fate.

Incremental fascism is hardly ever noticed and frequently extolled by the people it is to be applied to.

When the facts have to be fudged the goose has to be cooked.

The world moves at the speed of the predator not the prey.

Freedom was never the benevolent gift of the master but the trophy of the slave liberated from serfdom.

All patriots are anarchists. All traitors are not.

    • Lennie Pike

That was great, the EXACT truth, and on the nail directly on the head.

    • Woodward

“God flushes his own toilet.” And when does he do that? Cause from where I stand it seems like the toilet is overflowing and has been for a long time.

      • LIZ THE SHIZ

are you saying God’s going to also “drain the swamp” I never imagined the Almighty as the Tidy Bowl Man

    • goldminer

Good! Except weasels don’t normally eat carrion. They like their food alive and quivering. They do however store some of their kills in their burrows to eat later when prey is hard to find during winter months and bad weather. Kinda like having a burrow with a well stocked refrigerator.

      • JC Teecher

I am not a fan of weasels, nor racoons.
Stinking filthy animals that are unfit to eat.

I hate people that weasel out of commitments and appointments without consideration for the other party/parties involved.

A person that is continually “weaseling” out, is a person that can never be trusted.
Especially when the one doing the weaseling, hides from the other party …just like a weasel, burrowing away and keeping very quiet.

I have known a few of those in my lifetime, and two most recently, that have claimed to be friends.

        Beware of the weasel!

  • Lennie Pike

    It is horrible.

There is a brightside though – at least none of the more than 100 million illegal aliens, syrian refugees, or work visa immigrants who have been allowed into the U.S. are homeless.

The U. S. Goverment hijacked by the criminals imposing a world totalitarian government gives free housing, medical, and food benefits along with the job of homeless Americans at the expense of the homeless American (inflation, higher taxes, and their job) so to achieve their goal. Amercan business owners gladly accept knowing those creating one world goverment will financially support their foreign employees.

I will be ecstatic when the totalitarians achieve total control and the financial world of these “Americans” who destroyed America and freedom in this manner for a few extra dollars comes crashing down and they lose their freedom and join the ranks of these homeless – or worse.

  • Lazarovic

And now, Americans will lose their health insurance too, thanks to the Republican victory. There is nothing to replace the ACA. Now stop bothering the rich people, they can’t be bothered with your health, life or well being. Thanks for voting against your best interests!

Trump Has A Plan For The Medical Insurance….A Businessman s PLAN….I Read It And It Makes Sense !

Our Best Interests Are Never From The Government !!

      • Lazarovic

        OK Bill. Don’t get sick.

        • FYI- Sep 7, 2012 How Government Solved the Health Care Crisis

Today, we are constantly being told, the United States faces a health care crisis. Medical costs are too high, and health insurance is out of reach of the poor. The cause of this crisis is never made very clear, but the cure is obvious to nearly everybody: government must step in to solve the problem.

God Bless the homeless. The meek shall inherit the earth and Jesus saves.

    • woodward

Meek in the bible does NOT mean what it does in current society. Why should people who stand by and do nothing when they see injustice inherit anything? To be meek in biblical terms means to take a stand. To fight for those who are weak and cannot fight for themselves. If you see an injustice, do something about it. Let’s start in our own families as many turn a blind eye to things such as child abuse and spousal abuse.

      • BenaYaHU

        Shalom! woodward
Meek actually refers to HUMILITY! Being humble(d).. Correct, it certainly does NOT mean you allow anyone to walk all over you.. BUT, it does mean to be Humble whilst Walking in the Covenant Path of Righteousness .. AND, certainly NOT by the ways of this deceived and wretched ‘system’..
So, UNLESS you actually apply the Covenant Principles of Walking the Narrow Path, it WILL all be fruitless indeed.

        • woodward

Most people do not know what the word meek means and it is misapplied by many who attend church. Thus allowing wrong doers to continue doing wrong…

    • SnodtBlossom

lol.. you think all the homeless are angels don’t you.. reality is that a lot of homeless are scamming drug addicts

Thank you Michael, Problems are all huge now. Demons are infesting humans.
I think the problem is the faith of the Church – or lack there of. Jesus came as a human to free humans from demonic bonds. If the demons had known they never would have crucified Jesus! 1 Corinthians 2:8
Jesus had compassion upon the people and gave the church authority! Matthew 9:36-10:1. Yes – Believers in Jesus have authority to cast out unclean spirits, feed the poor (Mark 6:34) heal every kind of disease, and pray the Kingdom of God on earth! But the church is stuck in unbelief – so it cannot enter rest. Jesus is going to do something big to His Church very soon – judgment begins in the house of the Lord 1 Peter 4:17. We are at the end of this age. Not the end of the world – but a change up like when Jesus walked the earth and for the first time demons were cast out. Or like when the Holy Spirit fell and the ACTs church was activated. I am not sure the rapture is movie theater seats for a laodecian church. But it is a definite game changer to the archon of this world! I want Jesus to judge me. It is His purifying me and getting out the tares from me! I want His kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven! Maranantha!!!!

What is the greatest peacetime national accomplishment of the past 200 years? Without war, without firing a shot?

The rise of the British Empire? No. Because great wealth and power of the Empire was entirely due to the British conquering by war, by plunder, colonization and industrialized military. Behind every pound of wealth there was a dead foreigner.

The rise of the American Empire? No. That came about by U.S. grabbing and controlling half of the world destroyed by WW2. The U.S. empire is foremost a military empire funded by the mighty dollar. Secondarily by massive immigration of the world’s best to develop a mighty technological culture. It was done by smartest foreigners escaping their destroyed land. It was sustained by continued warfare conducted by the U.S. all over the world.

The answer is the Rise of China. During the past 30 years, China lifted 500 million people to the middle class, 10 million people to the rich class. All without war, without firing a shot, without a mighty currency. This year it announced the second phase – lifting of 500 million people from poverty to semi middle class. About 50 million more people will join the rich class.

How does China do this impossible task? Two things:
    1. Work very hard, work very smart, get very educated, make things, destroy corruption, maintain peaceful society.
    2. Use Communism.

Americans will be shocked by 2. Because they believe Communism is the greatest evil of mankind, so they were told since born. But to China, Communism is sharing of wealth. This is why the government will proceed to lift another 500 million people from poverty. It will spend a great deal of wealth collected from the richer people. Poor people will be helped to work better, and be more happy. They will never be rich, but that’s OK.

I am telling this story of truth to contrast American Capitalism. The state of which today is pretty sorry. The future bleak. The middle class busted up. The poor class glaringly noticeable everywhere. The sharing of wealth is tantamount to an act of treason for Americans. But according to the Elite the current situation reflects the beauty of Capitalism.

Let’s check the neighbor to the North. The sharing of wealth is burned into the Canada Constitution. It is called Equalization Payment – where every year the richer provinces must pay something to the poorer provinces so as to equalize wealth somewhat. Maybe this is why Americans call Canada socialist. Maybe this is why Canada is such a wealthy country, happy people with a deep sense of justice. They even ‘equalize’ health care for all! They hate to see their neighbors kicked under the bus, homeless, die from health bankruptcy. So Communist.

Shocking isn’t it. The U.S. of A. leader of the Capitalist world, richest and most powerful country in human history. Surrounded by ‘Communist’ states in South America, Cuba, Canada, across the Pacific, across the Atlantic in Africa. And to a good extent Europe – who after all invented Communism, Socialism and Fascism.

  • Schteven

Been there and have done it. No fun at all, but I worked my way out of it in short order. No way was I going to remain in that hell.

  • Imhotep

Michael, you stated – “…Could you imagine spending the holidays in a homeless shelter, in a tent
city surrounded by drug addicts and prostitutes, or in a sleeping bag
on the cold, hard streets of an urban jungle? Unfortunately, that is
what real life looks like for an increasing number of Americans…”

Some people might be wondering – how could this happen in the richest Capitalist country in the world? The answer and the solution lies in finding the main root cause for the major socioeconomic issues facing the USA and the World. It would take complete honesty, and mental clarity to find that root cause.

Then it would take great courage to pursue the solutions that are within human capability.

Yet these same toothless fools voted for trump which is directly against their own self interests, The only way trump won was to run against a equally bad person which was Hillery. The retarded dems should have stuck with Bernie and he would have creamed Trump and Trumps ally in the FBI comey who illegally made the announcement against Hillary, Comey needs to be jailed for dereliction of duty and for not following the fbi own procedure.
