“Escalation” will be a word that is used a lot in the coming days.  Once Israel sends troops into Gaza, it is going to trigger a series of events that nobody is going to be able to control.  But there is no turning back now.  When Hamas decided to rape women, behead children and kidnap the elderly, they made any other course of action impossible.  Israel must go into Gaza.  And as I write this article, we are witnessing the largest mobilization of Israelis troops that we have seen since the Yom Kippur War…

Tens of thousands of Israeli troops are on the move as the country prepares for a possible ground operation in response to the surprise attack launched by Hamas early Saturday morning.

More than 300,000 troops have been called up, the largest mobilization on short notice in Israel’s history, according to Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson Lt. Col. Jonathan Conricus. Those in the south are readying ahead of the forthcoming operation in Gaza and defending the border. Jeeps, tanks and other large military vehicles have been seen heading south as well

Along the northern border with Lebanon, the IDF has deployed tens of thousands of troops, including reservists and regular units, Conricus said. Tanks have also been spotted in the area.

Once Israeli troops enter Gaza, the Great Middle East War will have begun.

Even now, Israeli aircraft are “razing entire districts” inside Gaza in preparation for the coming invasion…

Israeli air strikes hammered Gaza on Tuesday, razing entire districts and filling morgues with dead Palestinians as Israel took revenge for the Hamas assaults that have triggered some of the worst blood-letting in 75 years of conflict.

Across the barrier wall enclosing the coastal enclave, Israeli soldiers collected the last of Israel’s dead four days after Hamas gunmen rampaged through towns, killing hundreds of people in the deadliest Palestinian militant attack in Israel’s history.

In the past, Israel has tried to hit Hamas really hard in order to deter future attacks.

But now the mission is to utterly destroy Hamas.

At this point, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is characterizing this fight as a battle between the civilized world and barbarism…

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has announced his intent to wage an unprecedented military offensive against Hamas in Gaza, a war that he has characterized as a civilizational clash.

“And just as the forces of civilization united to defeat ISIS, the forces of civilization must support Israel in defeating Hamas,” Netanyahu said on Monday. “In fighting Hamas, Israel is not only fighting for its own people. It is fighting for every country that stands against barbarism. Israel will win this war, and when Israel wins, the entire civilized world wins.”

There is no way that Israel can “win this war” without going into Gaza.

And that is precisely what is about to happen.

In fact, it is being reported that the Israeli government has already informed the Egyptian government that it is gearing up for “a months-long ground campaign in Gaza”…

Israel is readying for a months-long ground campaign in Gaza, an Egyptian official tells The Times of Israel, saying that this message has been passed along from Jerusalem to Cairo.

The Egyptian official says Israel has thus far dismissed Cairo’s efforts to mediate any sort of de-escalation, indicating that it wants to deal a knock-out blow to Hamas before entertaining the idea of a ceasefire.

So when Israel is systematically destroying Hamas, do you think that there is any chance that Hezbollah will just sit on the sidelines and watch it happen?

No way.

In fact, a Hamas official has stated that Hezbollah “will join the battle” if Gaza is invaded…

A senior Hamas official warned Israel on Tuesday that Iran and Lebanese Hezbollah “will join the battle if Gaza is subjected to a war of annihilation,” according to the Associated Press.

That is why the Israelis are sending so many military resources to the northern border.

They know that this will be a two front war…

On the third day of war between Hamas and Israel, residents of northern Israel were rushing to evacuate towns near the Lebanese border and buying essentials in preparation for a possible escalation.

As in much of the country, an eerie silence prevailed throughout the north, broken only by the rain showers periodically breaking over the area.

Driving up from central Israel, there was relatively little traffic on what is usually one of Israel’s busiest highways, Highway 6. On both sides of the road, tanks and military bulldozers on carriers headed to the southern and northern border.

But it won’t end there.

As I mentioned yesterday, Israel has reportedly warned Hezbollah that Damascus will be destroyed if Hezbollah tries to send troops into Israel…

Israel gives clear warning to Hezbollah:

If Hezbollah joins the war, the IDF will completely destroy Damascus and will directly target the Iran-backed Syrian dictator Bashar al-Assad. Moreover, US warships will support Israel in this war. This message was delivered by Israel via France.

So that would bring Syria into the war.

And I think that it is a very ominous sign that Israel and Syria are already exchanging artillery fire…

The IDF said it was responding to shells fired from Syria into Israel on Tuesday night.

Some of the shells most likely landed in open fields in Israel’s Golan Heights, the military added.

The IDF responded with artillery and mortar fire toward the source of the Syrian shelling.

If Israel ends up fighting Hamas, Hezbollah and Syria all at the same time, do you think that Iran will be able to stay out of the war?

The Iranians seem to fear direct military conflict, but it seems unlikely that they would refuse to fight if all of their allies in the region were getting pummeled by the Israelis.

And leaders from the two nations have already been exchanging some very harsh words…

“A senior Israeli government source said Monday that Israel has indications that Iran pushed Hamas into carrying out its massive infiltration and deadly assault, and that Iran was also pushing Hezbollah to be ready for conflict with Israel,” the Times of Israel reported.

Khamenei predicted that Israeli military operations would backfire. “The calculation of the illegitimate regime and its supporters in this regard is also wrong,” he said. “The rulers and decision-makers of the Zionist regime and their supporters should know that these actions will bring a greater disaster upon them, and the Palestinian people, with a firmer determination, will slap their hideous faces harder in response to these crimes.”

Of course the moment that Iran launches missiles at Israel, the U.S. will enter the conflict.

On Tuesday, Joe Biden made it very clear that the U.S. is standing with Israel in this fight…

President Joe Biden said the U.S. stands with Israel after Hamas’ brutal massacre in Israel, condemning the attack as “pure, unadulterated evil” and pledging to support Israel with military aid as war erupts in the Middle East.

“At this moment, we must be crystal clear: We stand with Israel,” Biden said Tuesday in remarks from the White House State Dining Room. “We will make sure Israel has what it needs to take care of its citizens, defend itself and respond to this attack. There’s no justification for terrorism. There’s no excuse.”

And Biden also confirmed that some of the hostages that are being held by Hamas are U.S. citizens…

Biden said Israel has a “right to respond and indeed has a duty to respond” four days after Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared war on Hamas.

“There are moments in this life − I mean this literally − when pure unadulterated evil is unleashed in this world,” Biden said. “The people of Israel lived through one such moment this weekend.”

An estimated 100 to 150 people in Israel were kidnapped by Hamas militants and are being held captive in Gaza. That includes some Americans, Biden confirmed for the first time.

Hamas made a huge strategic mistake when it decided to take U.S. citizens hostage.

If they were smart, they would return those U.S. citizens immediately.

But they aren’t going to do that.

So now Joe Biden will have some decisions to make.

Will the U.S. also get involved in the conflict?

One retired general seems to think so…

The US is likely to directly intervene with air and naval strikes if Israel’s existence is threatened, Ret. Gen. Barry McCaffrey said.

Speaking on Sunday on MSNBC’s “Weekends with Alex Witt,” the four-star US Army general described how such an escalation likely would only occur if Israel’s Middle Eastern neighbors became heavily involved.

“The other shoe we’re waiting to see if it drops is, will Hezbollah intervene out of Lebanon with their 100,000 some odd rockets? Will the West Bank ignite? And what will the Syrians and the Egyptians do?” McCaffrey said.

“I would suggest to you our support of Israel will be absolute, and if we see Syrian military intervention, active Iranian military intervention, we’ll go to war,” McCaffrey added.

For a long time, I have been warning that a great war would be coming to the Middle East.

But it has arrived a bit sooner than I thought.

Once Israeli troops move into Gaza, global events will start to move at a pace that will be absolutely breathtaking.

And at this moment it appears that the beginning of a ground operation could potentially be just hours away.

Fifty years after the Yom Kippur War began, Israel is at war again, and preparations are being made right now for an absolutely massive ground invasion of Gaza.  According to Google, the Yom Kippur War started on October 6th, 1973.  The war with Hamas started on October 7th, 2023, and it could quickly evolve into a major regional war as more parties get involved.  Once Israeli troops pour into Gaza, the dominoes will start falling very quickly.  Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will be the one that makes the final decision on a ground invasion of Gaza, and he very much sounds like a man that has made up his mind…

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed Monday to “change the Middle East” in Israel’s war with Palestinian militant group Hamas, as the army pounded the Gaza Strip with air strikes.

“What Hamas will experience will be difficult and terrible… we are going to change the Middle East,” Netanyahu told officials visiting Jerusalem from the country’s south, where Hamas militants carried out a surprise attack on Saturday morning.

“This is only the beginning… we are all with you and we will defeat them with force, enormous force.”

At this hour, a siege of Gaza has already begun as the IDF makes final preparations for a ground campaign.

That means that there will be no electricity, no food and no fuel for those living in Gaza until the war is done…

This morning, Israel imposed a “complete siege” on the area – including a sweeping ban on food and fuel moving into Gaza and an immediate cut-off of the water supply.

“There will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed,” Defence Minister Yoav Gallant said.

“We are fighting human animals and we act accordingly.”

Needless to say, many of those living in Gaza will soon become extremely hungry.

And the IDF has already been hitting hundreds of strategic targets by air…

Among the 500 targets hit overnight were eight Hamas and Palestinian Islamic Jihad war rooms; a building housing Hamas operatives; several high-rise towers housing Hamas assets; a command center used by a senior official in Hamas’s naval forces; an “operational asset used by Hamas” located within a mosque in Jabaliya; an asset used by the terror group for intelligence; and three tunnels in the Beit Hanoun area in northern Gaza.

Of course this is just the beginning.

Hundreds of thousands of troops are being mobilized, and they will possess enough firepower to absolutely flatten Gaza…

IDF are amassing their 173,000 troops including 8,000 elite commandos, along with 300 tanks and plenty of heavy weaponry on the border with Gaza in the town of Sderot.

A further 300,000 reserve troops have been mobilised in an unprecedented move and sent south ahead of the possible invasion.

The Israelis would not be mobilizing all of these troops if they did not plan to do something with them.

According to Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, this is the biggest mobilization that Israel has conducted since the Yom Kippur War…

Regarding the draft of reservists, Hagari said the IDF “has never mobilized so many reservists so quickly — 300,000 reservists in 48 hours.”

This is the largest mobilization since the 1973 Yom Kippur War when Israel called up 400,000 reservists.

Wow.

So this is it.

Inside Gaza, people have already been getting phone calls warning them that the IDF will be coming in…

‘It doesn’t need much thinking about. Israel suffered the biggest loss in its history so you can imagine what it is going to do,’ said a resident of Beit Hanoun on Gaza’s northeastern border with Israel.

‘I took my family out at sunrise and dozens of other families did the same. Many of us got phone calls, audio messages from Israeli security officers telling us to leave because they will operate there,’ he said.

If you were in the same position, would you warn anyone living in Gaza in advance?

Many innocent lives may be saved by these calls, but it also tells the enemy exactly what you are planning to do.

Fox News is reporting that Netanyahu has called Joe Biden to inform him that “a ground operation in the Gaza Strip” is going to happen…

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly told President Biden that a ground operation in the Gaza Strip is necessary after Hamas launched deadly strikes on his country.

The remark, made in a phone call between the two leaders, came as Biden raised concerns about Israeli hostages in the Gaza Strip if a ground operation should commence, three Israeli and U.S. sources briefed on the call told Axios.

“We have to go in. We can’t negotiate now,” Netanyahu told the president, according to the outlet.

But once the Israelis invade, will Hezbollah just sit there and watch Hamas get utterly destroyed?

I don’t think so.

I think that Hezbollah will create a second front in the north, and so I hope that the IDF is prepared for that.

On Monday, there were some very alarming clashes between the IDF and Hezbollah forces…

Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said in a brief statement on Monday that its helicopters are currently striking in Lebanese territory. No further details were provided.

Earlier, the IDF said a “number of armed suspects” who “infiltrated” into Israel from Lebanon were killed, and that IDF soldiers were searching the area.

The United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) peacekeepers said in a statement on Monday that it has reported explosions near Al-Boustan in southwest Lebanon.

Hopefully Hezbollah will not decide to get crazy and launch a full-blown invasion of Israel.

Because if that happens, Israel has apparently told Hezbollah that it will “completely destroy Damascus”…

Of course the Iranians are unlikely to remain on the sidelines if the Israelis start hitting Syria and Hezbollah extremely hard, and any big move by Iran would draw the U.S. military into the conflict.

What I am trying to say is that this thing could get way out of control very rapidly.

There will be so much death and destruction in the days ahead, and it won’t just be limited to that part of the world.

When I was first told that Israel was at war, I did not believe it.  Even though I had warned my readers over and over again that a major war could erupt in the region at any moment, I literally thought that someone was trying to share some “fake news” with me.  But of course it wasn’t fake news at all.  Israel’s government has invoked Article 40 Aleph and has formally declared war on Hamas.  This is the first time in 50 years that Israel has formally declared war, and the death toll is rising with each passing hour…

The rapidly intensifying war between Israel and Palestinian militants roared through a second day Sunday, with the Israeli Security Cabinet formally declaring war and the death toll closing in on 1,000 — a figure that may include some Americans.

More than 600 Israelis have been killed since Hamas militants began their assault Saturday on almost two dozen Israeli towns and army bases, ZAKA, a volunteer group that handles human remains after terror attacks, told Israeli media. ZAKA said 250 bodies were found at a music festival near the Gaza border.

I did not think that Hamas was on the verge of launching such an attack.

I am constantly digging into countless news sources all over the world, and I had not come across even a hint that such a thing was about to happen.

But now the entire world is in an uproar.

Israel and Hamas are at war, and it appears that the IDF will conduct a full-blown invasion of the Gaza Strip.

If that happens, Hezbollah could become a party to the conflict.  They have already fired a bunch of rockets into Israel, and officials are warning that more direct action could be taken if Israel does not stand down.

And the Wall Street Journal is reporting that Iran actually helped Hamas plan their assault on Israel…

The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday that Iranian security officials helped Hamas plan the surprise attack and approved it at a meeting in Beirut last Monday, according to senior members of Hamas and Hezbollah. The Journal reported that officers in Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps had worked with Hamas since August to devise the sophisticated air, land and sea assault.

If Israel and Iran start lobbing missiles at one another, this war could get really big.

So let us hope that does not happen.

Ominously, the Pentagon has already announced that U.S. forces are being moved into a position to intervene if things get out of hand….

U.S. Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced Sunday that he has ordered American military ships, including an aircraft carrier and additional aircraft, to move closer to the eastern Mediterranean in response to Hamas’ unprecedented, multi-front attack on Israel. Several U.S. citizens were among those killed in the attacks, a National Security Council spokesperson confirmed Sunday after Austin’s announcement.

“Today, in response to this Hamas attack on Israel, and following detailed discussions with President Biden, I have directed several steps to strengthen Department of Defense posture in the region to bolster regional deterrence efforts,” Austin said in a news release.

When things between Israel and Hamas have flared up in the past, the fighting has only lasted a few days.

But this is totally different.

In Israel, this attack is being compared to 9/11 and Pearl Harbor.  Hundreds of civilians were ruthlessly gunned down, and large numbers of hostages were taken…

Horrifying footage showed women being marched into vehicles, bloodied and bruised, often with their hands bound behind their backs. Earlier pictures showed Israeli pensioners taken into the Gaza Strip on golf carts and families forced into trucks.

Some of the hostages, including the completely naked body of one woman, were paraded through the streets like trophies…

The naked body of a woman was paraded through the streets in the back of a pick-up truck on Saturday as Hamas fighters sat on her unmoving form.

A celebrating crowd surrounded the armed men in combat fatigues, who shouted “Allah Akbar” from the open back of the truck.

Some in the crowd, which included youngsters, spat on the woman’s body before the truck sped away on a day of unprecedented massacres of Israeli civilians.

During the initial assault, Hamas terrorists descended upon a music festival where large numbers of people were dancing.

At least 260 innocent civilians were gunned down at that music festival, and we are being told that the terrorists “even shot the legs off hostages to prevent them from escaping”…

The terrorists gunned down as many revelers as possible and on Sunday night horrifying photos emerged of bodies piled up in a tent at the festival.

Authorities believe 260 people were massacred at the event at which between 3-4,000 people have been in attendance.

Many of those kidnapped by Hamas terrorists include women both young and old. The terrorists even shot the legs off hostages to prevent them from escaping.

These terrorists are sick.

There is no place in a civilized society for anything like this.

But you know what?

All over the world, large numbers of people are actually celebrating these attacks.

Shockingly, even in the United States and Canada crowds of lunatics have been filmed shouting for joy.

According to U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken, one of the hostages that was captured is “an elderly Holocaust survivor in a wheelchair”, and four Americans have been confirmed dead so far…

Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Sunday that among the 100 people kidnapped from Israel by Hamas terrorists was an elderly Holocaust survivor in a wheelchair.

Four Americans have also reportedly been killed in the massacre that began Saturday morning, according to CNN.

The Israeli people are not going to be satisfied with blowing up a few dozen targets in Gaza.

At this point, the Israeli people want Hamas to be totally destroyed, and only a full-blown invasion will be able to accomplish that.

So is this one of the wars of the apocalypse?

At this stage, we just don’t know.

Let’s wait and see what happens next.

If Hezbollah, Iran and the United States all get involved in the conflict, then it will definitely have the potential to be the sort of Middle East war that I have been warning my readers about for many years.

In the event that a full-blown regional war does erupt, the price of gasoline will go absolutely nuts.

In fact, the price of oil has already jumped by about four percent…

Oil prices jumped 4% as the Israel-Hamas conflict extended into its third day following a surprise attack on Israel by Palestinian militants Hamas.

Global benchmark Brent traded 4.53% higher at $88.41 a barrel Monday, while the U.S. West Texas Intermediate futures rose 4.69% to $88.67 per barrel.

Let me share one more thing before I end this article.

Instead of canceling his plans after the attack against Israel happened, Joe Biden decided to go ahead and host a picnic at the White House that included music from a live band…

“In the late afternoon and early evening, a live band could be heard coming from the area near the Rose Garden,” the pool reporter wrote. “Your pooler asked why a band was playing. From the White House: The President and First Lady are hosting a BBQ for White House Executive Residence Staff and their families.”

Conservatives gathered on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, to express their disapproval over the event.

“While Hamas holds Americans hostage, Joe Biden is enjoying a picnic with a live band,” Republican Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley tweeted.

“Given recent events, and certainly with the news of many Americans being held hostage in Gaza, I think I would have cancelled the White House BBQ with the live band,” Former Virginia Congressman Scott Taylor wrote.

No matter what happens in our world, Joe Biden always seems to find a way to respond in a way that is completely and utterly inappropriate.

We are literally teetering on the brink of World War III, and we have got the worst leader in the entire history of our country sitting in the Oval Office.

Biden has made disastrous decision after disastrous decision during his tenure, and now he has to figure out what to do about a Middle East war that is going to be very brutal and very bloody.

History is starting to repeat itself.  In 2008, bond prices crashed before stock prices did.  Here in 2023, bond prices are crashing again.  In fact, we are currently witnessing one of the greatest financial crashes in U.S. history at this moment.  Of course most Americans have absolutely no idea that this is happening.  Most Americans don’t know anything about the bond crash that is causing a tremendous amount of fear in the financial community right now, and that is because the big news networks aren’t talking about it too much.  But it is serious.  Since the peak of the market, 10 year bonds are down 46 percent and 30 year bonds are down 53 percent…

Losses on longer-dated Treasuries are beginning to rival some of the most notorious market meltdowns in US history.

Bonds maturing in 10 years or more have slumped 46% since peaking in March 2020, according to data compiled by Bloomberg. That’s just shy of the 49% plunge in US stocks in the aftermath of the dot-com bust at the turn of the century. The rout in 30-year bonds has been even worse, tumbling 53%, nearing the 57% slump in equities during the depths of the financial crisis.

We haven’t seen anything like this in many years.

As bond yields go up, bond prices go down.

And the last time the yield on 10 year bonds rose to this level was “just before the 2008 financial crisis”…

At the center of the storm is the 10-year Treasury yield, one of the most influential numbers in finance. The yield, which represents borrowing costs for issuers of bonds, has climbed steadily in recent weeks and reached 4.8% on Tuesday, a level last seen just before the 2008 financial crisis.

We are witnessing the exact same pattern that we witnessed in 2008 and during other financial panics.

Bonds crash first, and then stocks crash later.

I have warned over and over again that high interest rates were going to have an absolutely devastating impact on our system, and now it is staring to happen.

Our banks are going to be in so much trouble.  They were already sitting on hundreds of billons of dollars in unrealized losses, and the spike in bond yields in recent weeks has pushed that number even higher.

Meanwhile, mortgage rates continue to soar…

Freddie Mac’s latest Primary Mortgage Market Survey released Thursday shows the average rate for the benchmark 30-year fixed-rate mortgage jumped to 7.49%, up from 7.31% last week and from 6.66% a year ago.

The rate for a 15-year mortgage also climbed, averaging 6.78% after coming in last week at 6.72%. One year ago, the rate on a 15-year fixed note averaged 5.9%.

These high rates are absolutely paralyzing the housing market.

Millions of potential buyers have been forced to the sidelines, because high rates have made housing “unaffordable” in 99 percent of all U.S. counties…

Housing prices are growing more unaffordable even with the astronomical rise in mortgage rates, putting ownership out of reach for millions of Americans.

That’s according to a new report published by real estate data provider ATTOM, which examined 572 U.S. counties and determined that median home prices in 99% of those areas are out of reach for the average income earner, who makes about $71,214 annually.

“The latest trend continues a two-year pattern of homeownership getting more and more difficult for average U.S. wage earners,” the report said.

The home prices that we are seeing today are absolutely insane.

Recently, a 565 square foot house in West Hollywood “sold for a whopping $1.1 million”…

A miniature home in Los Angeles’ West Hollywood neighborhood recently sold for a whopping $1.1 million despite only offering 565 square feet inside.

The 1924 Craftsman-bungalow – settled on a 2.240 square foot lot – is tucked away behind a row of hedges and located just across the street from a fire station.

I couldn’t imagine paying that much for a glorified closet.

But apparently someone out there had money to burn.

Of course most homes are not selling at this point.

In fact, sales of existing homes have fallen by about a third over the past year.

So something has got to give.

Either the Federal Reserve has got to dramatically reduce interest rates or home prices have got to fall.

And the Federal Reserve is not planning to reduce interest rates any time soon.

Unfortunately, Fed officials keep talking about the possibility of raising them even higher.

So a lot more pain is coming, and the American people are getting restless.

If you can believe it, a recent Rasmussen survey discovered that more than half of all U.S. adults believe that we will experience “another Great Depression” within the next few years…

Despite claims by President Joe Biden about the strength of America’s economy, most Americans still think we’re headed toward another Great Depression.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that 52% of American Adults believe it is likely that, over the next few years, the United States will enter a 1930s-like depression, including 21% who say a major depression is Very Likely. Thirty-six percent (36%) don’t think another Great Depression is likely over the next few years, including 11% who say it’s Not At All Likely. Another 11% are not sure.

Even though they may not understand the specifics, most Americans can feel that something has gone horribly wrong.

But things didn’t have to turn out this way.

You see, the truth is that we didn’t learn our lessons from the last financial crisis.

Instead of fixing the system, we created bubbles that were even bigger.

Now that bonds have crashed, it is just a matter of time before stocks crash too.

And we are headed for an economic meltdown of epic proportions.

The months and years ahead are going to be incredibly challenging.

If you are going to go out, you might as well do it with a bang.  At the beginning of June, our national debt was sitting at $31,467,639,287,894.39.  Today, it has risen to $33,442,148,619,617.43.  That means that we have added almost two trillion dollars to the national debt in just three months.  It is the largest single debt in the entire history of our planet, and it will never be paid off.  Our debt spiral has reached a terminal phase, and all we can do now is prolong the agony.  If we keep taking on more debt at an exponential rate, we may be able to extend our seemingly endless party for a little while longer.  As for the bright future that our children and grandchildren were supposed to have, we destroyed that a long time ago, and so it doesn’t really matter what we do now.

What our politicians are doing to us is truly a crime against humanity.

And I am not just talking about the United States.  All over the world, politicians have been on the greatest debt binge in the history of the human race, and for quite a few years it seemed like they were getting away with it.

But now interest rates are rising and there is great turmoil in the bond markets.  The following comes from CNN…

A slump in government bonds around the world has pushed up the cost of some nations’ debt to levels not seen in more than a decade. That’s bad news for governments in the red but also for the wallets of millions of mortgage borrowers, stock investors and businesses.

The sell-off has been fueled by expectations among investors that the world’s major central banks will keep interest rates “higher for longer” to bring inflation down to their targets.

It works like this: Governments looking to raise cash for public services and investments issue bonds. A bond provides a way to borrow money from investors for a set length of time, with the obligation to make regular interest payments.

In recent weeks, bond yields have reached very alarming levels.

If this continues, governments all over the world will soon be facing enormous problems…

When official interest rates rise, so do investors’ expectations for returns on bonds, known as yields. This creates an incentive for investors to sell the bonds they currently hold and buy newly issued ones that offer higher interest payments. Selling bonds reduces prices. So, in short, when yields rise, bond prices fall.

And yields have most definitely been rising: The yield on 30-year US government bonds, also known as Treasuries, hit 5% on Tuesday for the first time since 2007. In the United Kingdom, the yield on 30-year bonds also reached 5% this week, the highest level in more than two decades.

Yields on German long-dated bonds are back to levels last seen on the eve of the eurozone debt crisis in 2011. Yields on Italy’s 10-year bonds hit 5% on Wednesday, the highest level since 2012, when that crisis was in full swing.

There is no way out of this mess now.

If we would have acted responsibly all along, we would have gotten a much different outcome.

But at this point our fate is pretty much sealed.

Of course our politicians never intended to change course.  In fact, they continue to spend money like drunken sailors.

As Zero Hedge has aptly noted, the U.S. government recently added 275 billion dollars to the national debt in a single day…

Total US debt is now $33.442 trillion, hit $33 trillion just 2 weeks ago, and on pace to rise by $1 trillion in 1 month.

What makes all of this even more frustrating is that they aren’t even spending the money efficiently.

And in many instances, it is being wasted on extremely frivolous things…

Federal officials have been criticized after splashing $3.3 billion on swanky new office furniture during the pandemic, when almost all staff worked from home.

The egregious spending habits of the US government included almost $250,000 on solar-powered picnic tables for the CDC, and $120,000 on plush Ethan Allen leather chairs.

We are borrowing and spending money at an exponential pace, and we all know how this is going to end.

It is going to end with the U.S. dollar becoming worth little more than toilet paper.

This is a point that author Robert Kiyosaki made very eloquently during a recent interview…

Robert Kiyosaki, renowned author of the phenomenal personal finance book “Rich Dad, Poor Dad,” shared a piece of his mind on how to decentralize from the fiat currency in these scary times of a broken banking system. According to him, the dollar has been losing its purchasing power and not long from now, it would just be worth less than “toilet paper.”

During his appearance on the recent episode “Decentralize.TV” hosted by Mike Adams and Todd Pitner, Kiyosaki pointed out how the lack of financial education in the United States blinds the people and even President Joe Biden’s administration in tackling the current economic downturn. “Just recently they raised the debt ceiling again… and because our schools have no financial education, no idea of credit rating, our debt increased by $1.8 trillion. The United States via Fitch Rating services downgraded the U.S. debt from AAA to AA-plus. We are on a collision course for disaster.”

It is true.

We really are on a “collision course” with disaster, but most Americans don’t realize what is happening.

Most Americans seem to believe that there will never be any serious consequences for all the borrowing and spending that we have been doing.

And that is because most Americans don’t understand basic economics.

When your debt rises much faster than your income does for an extended period of time, it is always going to result in pain.

Every single time.

If you have ever found yourself drowning in debt, you know exactly what I am talking about.

Well, now our entire country is drowning in debt, and our politicians are adding hundreds of billions more to that debt every single month.

This is not going to end well, and that should be obvious to everyone.

For the moment, our politicians are doing their best to keep the debt spiral humming, but the clock is ticking and time is quickly running out…

Many of our largest cities simply aren’t safe anymore.  A relentless crime wave is terrorizing citizens from coast to coast, and it has gotten to a point where many people are literally afraid to walk outside of their own homes.  Of course conditions are the worst in blue cities.  In fact, every example that I am going to share with you in this article comes from an area that is being run by liberals.  Our once great cities are being systematically destroyed, and our politicians are unwilling to do what is necessary to turn things around.

In Philadelphia, a car dealership that was open for less than a week may be forced to close because thieves stole most of the cars on the lot…

A car dealership open for less than a week in Philadelphia’s Mayfair section is on the brink of closing for good after thieves made off with several cars on Wednesday.

“If we don’t recover the cars, we probably won’t survive it,” said Nathan Kriegler, the co-owner of City Motors of Philadelphia. “It could be the start and the end all in the same week.”

I have never heard of anything like this before.

In addition to taking seven of the eleven vehicles that the small dealership owns, the thieves were also able to get away with their titles too…

They ransacked his office, stole the keys to seven of the 11 cars on the lot, and made off with them. They also broke into an eighth car and tried to hot-wire it but were unsuccessful.

They also made off with the titles of the cars.

Down in Washington D.C., carjacking has become an absolutely massive problem.

In fact, things are so bad that even members of Congress are starting to get carjacked…

Rep. Henry Cuellar, D-Texas, was carjacked Monday night about a mile from the Capitol.

His chief of staff confirmed the incident in a statement and said he was not injured.

“As Congressman Cuellar was parking his car this evening, 3 armed assailants approached the Congressman and stole his vehicle. Luckily, he was not harmed and is working with local law enforcement. Thank you to Metro PD and Capitol Police for their swift action and for recovering the Congressman’s vehicle,” the statement said.

His case is fairly typical.

Overall, 75 percent of all carjacking incidents in D.C. involve the use of guns.

And many times those guns are in the hands of young kids.

When one of these young kids decides that it is time to pull the trigger, it isn’t going to matter what you believe.

You could be the most “woke” leftist in the world, but that isn’t going to prevent you from getting killed.

32-year-old Ryan Carson was a very well known “social justice and climate change activist” in New York City, but the young criminal that stabbed him in the chest multiple times didn’t stop to ask what his political beliefs were…

Ryan Carson, a 32-year-old social justice and climate change activist, was brutally stabbed to death in Crown Heights, Brooklyn.

Carson was stabbed multiple times in the chest around 4 a.m. at Lafayette Avenue and Malcolm X Boulevard. He was with his girlfriend at the time, waiting at a bus stop after leaving a wedding, according to CBS New York.

The suspect, who was acting erratically, approached Carson and asked, “What are you looking at?” before launching the fatal attack.

And even though he repeatedly mocked those that were concerned about rising crime in our streets, that didn’t stop left-wing journalist Josh Kruger from getting shot seven times inside his own home…

A left-wing Philadelphia journalist who mocked concern over rising crime in Democrat-run cities was shot to death in his home.

Josh Kruger was shot seven times after someone entered his home, shot him at the base of his stairs, and then fled. Kruger ran outside seeking help from his neighbors and collapsed, where police found them after responding to call just before 1:30 a.m. on the 2300 block of Watkins Street.

People like this never want to listen to the warnings.

Now they are dead.

At this point, I have no idea why anyone would want to live in Philadelphia.  It is one of the epicenters of our national drug crisis, and the two nights of rampant looting that we just witnessed made headlines all over the planet…

On the second night of flash mob looting in Philadelphia, the robbers ransacked the liquor store Fine Wine and Good Spirits, attacking its safe and lottery machine, as shown in footage spreading on social media. Reporter of FOX 29 News Philadelphia Steve Keeley, who originally reported on Wednesday night’s thefts, later posted the videos showing the aftermath of some looting that occurred at a sneaker warehouse in the city.

If you live in Philadelphia, New York City, Washington or any other major city on the east coast, I would consider moving while you still can.

Of course the same thing applies to the major cities on the west coast.

In particular, crime is completely and utterly out of control in the Bay Area.

This week, I was horrified to learn that one serial shoplifter actually doused a store clerk in lighter fluid and set him on fire…

This is the horrific moment a Bay Area store clerk was set ablaze by a homeless serial shoplifter as he tried to stop him from stealing.

Suraj, who declined to provide his last name for fear of being targeted again, can be seen trying to wrestle Kendall Burton, 38, before being doused in lighter fluid.

The surveillance footage shows Suraj’s head consumed by flames as another store clerk runs to his rescue with a baseball bat.

That is nuts.

But this is the world that we live in now.

Along the shore, those that live on houseboats are yachts are having a major problem with “pirates”…

Residents living on houseboats and yachts in the San Francisco Bay resorted to physically fighting off seafaring bandits who are ransacking their ships, former harbor master Brock de Lappe said.

Another woman said she rescued a man whose sailboat drifted into the bay without a motor or any way to get back to shore after one of the “pirates,” which is what the resident call the burglars, cut his boat line during an argument.

“The open shoreline of the (Oakland-Alameda) estuary is littered with sunken wrecks and derelict, end-of-life vessels, and crime has risen to truly intolerable levels,” de Lappe said during a municipal meeting.

Yes, this is actually happening.

And it is being reported that the police “have failed to intervene” so those that are being robbed are being forced to fight off the “pirates” themselves…

The brazen thieves – whose homeless encampments have spilled out of the city – are taking small motor-powered dinghies and using them in smash-and-grab raids on larger vessels and houseboats.

During Wednesday’s San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission’s enforcement meeting community members spoke of having to fight off the pirates themselves as police in the Democrat-run city have failed to intervene.

Sadly, this is just the beginning.

What will you do when thieves finally come to your home?

You might want to start thinking about that, because conditions in this country are going to steadily get worse.

Illegal immigration is fueling the rapid growth of criminal gangs, and these gangs are becoming very aggressive.

And this isn’t just happening near the southern border.

In Oakland County, Michigan the activity of “transnational gangs” is causing a major crisis…

Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard called Friday for tighter border security as his office works with multiple agencies to intercept the efforts of “transnational gangs” involved in “high-end burglaries,” prowling across Oakland county and throughout the nation.

The sheriff detailed at a press conference what officials have learned about the burglaries that have ravaged Michigan’s second most populous county, resulting in what Bouchard described as the loss of “hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars” worth of merchandise. He did not detail how many arrests have been made or other details authorities have complied in connection with incidents but said “there are specific threads” officials are aware of.

Unfortunately, the Biden administration has no intention of doing anything about our wide open borders.

So more criminals are pouring in through our southern border with each passing day.

The stage is being set for chaos in the streets of America that will be unlike anything we have ever seen before.

But things didn’t have to turn out this way.

If our leaders would have made much different decisions, we could have gotten much different results.

There has been a dramatic spike in the number of Chinese nationals that are coming across our borders.  The vast majority of them are men, and the vast majority of those men are of military age.  Most of the time, when these men are intercepted by U.S. officials they claim that they have come to apply for asylum in the United States.  Of course they know that their court dates will be set far into the future because our system is being absolutely overwhelmed by asylum seekers right now.  As they wait for their court dates, most of them are released into the United States and are permitted to go wherever they want.  So what this means is that thousands upon thousands of Chinese men of military age have been allowed into this country, and we don’t know where they are or what they are doing.

According to Fox News, the number of Chinese nationals that are being encountered at our borders far exceeds anything that we have ever seen before…

So far in fiscal year 2023, U.S. Customs and Border Protection encountered nearly 40,000 Chinese nationals on both the southern and northern borders, far surpassing the approximately 23,500 and 27,800 encountered in fiscal years 2021 and 2022, respectively.

In July, more than 6,000 crossed the border, just two months after the COVID-19-era rule that allowed for expelling illegal migrants quickly – known as Title 42 – expired.

Obviously these Chinese nationals do not walk to our borders from China.

So how do they get here?

Well, it is being reported that many of them begin their journeys in the nation of Ecuador…

The Chinese migrants typically start their journey in Ecuador, which is visa-free for Chinese citizens, as per The Diplomat. From there, they head to Necoclí, a town in Colombia’s northern coast, which then leads to the Darién Gap, a 66-mile dense jungle reportedly filled with armed guerillas, drug traffickers and deadly biodiversity. Some who undertake the treacherous journey allegedly pay smugglers up to $35,000 for help.

This is a major national security issue, but the Biden administration isn’t doing anything about it.

Needless to say, this is greatly frustrating many Republicans.  In fact, the chair of the Homeland Security Committee in the House of Representatives recently told the Daily Mail that he is concerned that China may be sending these men here for a specific purpose…

House Homeland Security Committee Chairman Mark Green, R-Tenn., told DailyMail.com that there has been a ‘massive increase’ of Chinese nationals tied to the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) that have gained access to the U.S. by crossing over the border.

And there have been over 17,800 Chinese nationals released into the U.S. this year alone, he claimed.

Green called the ‘stupidity’ of the Biden administration’s border policies currently in place ‘mind-blowing’ because now Chinese spies could act as ‘saboteurs’ in the same manner Russian military men established residency in Ukraine before the invasion.

I think that Green’s concerns are quite justified.

Just as rumors of a potential war between the U.S. and China are reaching a crescendo, we are seeing Chinese men cross our borders in much larger numbers than we ever have before.

And they appear to be doing it in groups.

Earlier this year, one reporter released video footage that showed “hundreds of military-aged Chinese men in Panama heading toward the U.S. border”…

Muckraker.com founder Anthony Rubin said on “Fox & Friends First” Wednesday that every day, multiple times a day, groups of men are lining up and getting on buses to continue their journeys.

There appears to be at least some level of coordination to these efforts.

And once they get here, Chinese nationals often end up in places where they aren’t supposed to be…

The Chinese nationals posed as ‘tourists’ wandered onto a missile launch site in New Mexico, as first reported by the Wall Street Journal. In addition, some reportedly staged as scuba divers in order to get close to a Florida rocket launch site, while others claimed to be staying on an Army base in Alaska.

Th operatives have reportedly claimed to be tourists who are ‘lost’ and unable to find their way to a Burger King or McDonalds coincidentally close to a U.S. military base.

These are just the ones that have been caught.

How many other spies have successfully completed their missions without being caught?

Once migrants are released into this country, they can literally go anywhere.

Lately, there has been a tremendous crime wave in Oakland County, Michigan.

That is quite a long way from the southern border.

It turns out that “transnational gangs” from South America are specifically targeting expensive homes in that area, and so far they have been very successful…

Oakland County Sheriff Michael Bouchard is sounding the alarm over a rash of burglaries targeting luxurious homes. Bouchard is warning local residents to secure their houses because illegal immigrants are committing home invasions to steal high-end goods.

The sheriff said the burglars are stealing jewelry, precious metals, high-end watches, expensive purses, electronics, money, and safes. Bouchard said the robberies have totaled more than $1 million.

Of course the Chinese migrants that are coming across our borders are not here to rob homes.

They are here for other reasons.

But my point is that once migrants are released into this country, they could end up literally anywhere.

At this stage, so many immigrants have poured into her state that even ultra-liberal New York Governor Kathy Hochul is calling for a dramatic increase in border security…

New York Governor Kathy Hochul (D) has turned into an immigration hawk after the Biden administration has overwhelmed her state–and specifically New York City–with an unceasing flood of thousands upon thousands of migrants. Appearing on the CBS News program Face the Nation on Sunday, Hochul called for limits on migration at the border and for a “doubling or quadrupling” of Border Patrol agents.

Hochul cast blame on Republicans and Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), rather than Joe Biden, ignoring that it is Biden’s policies that have instigated the massive amount of illegal immigration since he took office in 2021.

So will the Biden administration finally do something to address this crisis?

Probably not.

So more Chinese men of military age will arrive with each passing day.

And when a war with the United States finally erupts, they will be ready to carry out their assigned tasks.

Only a very foolish nation would allow the enemy to pre-position tens of thousands of soldiers, spies and saboteurs, but that is precisely what we are doing.

You only practice for something if you think that there is a decent chance that it will actually happen.  This week, two “tests” will be conducted that sound rather ominous.  The first of these “tests” will happen in Russia on Tuesday.  Vladimir Putin has ordered the very first “nationwide nuclear attack exercise” in the entire history of his country, and that is making headlines all over the globe…

Russia will stage its first nationwide nuclear attack exercise across 11 time zones in preparation for potential nuclear war.

It is scheduled to take place on October 3 and will see Vladimir Putin’s regime present the West as a nuclear aggressor.

If Vladimir Putin was entirely convinced that there is zero chance that a nuclear war will happen, he would not have ordered these drills.

Obviously he believes that there is at least a remote possibility that the conflict in Ukraine could spark a nuclear war.

It is being reported that this exercise will assume “that martial law has been introduced in Russia” and that a nuclear attack by the western powers would destroy “up to 70% of Russian housing”…

The one-day nuclear attack exercise, which has only ever been done region by region, will include preparation for the destruction of up to 70% of Russian housing stock and life support facilities.

It will assume the scenario that martial law has been introduced in Russia and that is has gone through full mobilisation.

But that doesn’t mean that most of the Russian population would die during such an attack.

Russia has more than 16,000 nuclear shelters, and some of them can hold vast numbers of people.

Here in the United States, we have one.  It is in the Seattle area, and at the time it was built it could hold about 200 people…

In November 1962, only a month after the Cuban Missile Crisis, excavation of a shelter in Seattle began.

It was expected to be the first of several fallout shelters across the U.S., but ended up being the only one built in the country.

The May 15, 1962, Seattle Times identified the structure as “the nation’s first fallout shelter to be built into a freeway.”

And of course the U.S. is not likely to hold a “nationwide nuclear attack exercise” any time soon, because our leaders have fooled themselves into thinking that the Russians would never dare fire their missiles at us.

But just last week thousands of Russians were involved in extensive nuclear combat drills…

The combat drills took place in the Sverdlovsk region on Thursday and saw 3,000 Tagil Rocket Division soldiers being trained on the “highest degrees of combat readiness”, according to RadarOnline.com.

Video footage of the nuclear missile division’s combat drills was shown on the Russian defense ministry TV channel, Zvezda.

The clip shows thousands of soldiers training and Yars thermonuclear intercontinental ballistic missiles, feared throughout the world because of their massive 6,835-mile range.

If both sides continue to escalate matters in Ukraine, this is where things are eventually heading, and the Russians realize this.

Unfortunately, our leaders in the western world just don’t seem to get it.

If push comes to shove, the Russians will use their nuclear weapons.

In fact, many prominent voices inside Russia are already encouraging Vladimir Putin to go in that direction.  Here is just one example…

The rhetoric was raised by loyalist MP and army commander Lt-Gen Andrei Gurulev who demanded Putin be ready to use nuclear weapons.

‘Our strategic capability is our [nuclear triad],’ he said.

‘This is what is designed for the landmass of the United States of America. This is specifically for them.

‘And they know very well that after that there will be no United States of America. We 100% inflict an unacceptable defeat on the USA. They know that.’

If our leaders had any sense, they would be looking for a peaceful way out of this mess while it is still possible.

Because Ukraine is not going to defeat Russia, and the Russians are not going to back down.

Last week, it was being reported that Putin has decided to bring in another 130,000 conscripts…

Russian President Vladimir Putin is calling up 130,000 conscripts for military service this fall, increasing the age limit of conscripts from 27 to 30, according to a document posted on the Russian government website on Friday.

Russia’s lower house of parliament voted last July to raise the age for conscripts, and that legislation will take effect on January 1, 2024. Putin said earlier this month that he is bracing for a long war with Ukraine as Russia’s armed forces press on with their “special military operation” in Ukraine, now in its 20th month.

We are rapidly approaching a point of no return with Russia, and so we should sit down and talk while we still can.

The second ominous event that I wanted to discuss is the “Nationwide Emergency Alert Test” that will happen just one day after the Russians conduct their “”nationwide nuclear attack exercise”.  On Wednesday afternoon, televisions, radios and phones all over the entire country will suddenly come alive at 2:20 PM eastern time…

Get ready to not freak out. On Wednesday, Oct. 4 at 2:20 p.m. EDT, every TV, radio and cellphone in the United States should blare out the distinctive, jarring electronic warning tone of an emergency alert.

It’s a test – only a test.

Officially, the trial is called the Nationwide Emergency Alert Test. You know it’s a test and not an actual emergency because it’s accompanied by an explanation of the test.

Even if your phone is set to silent mode, you will still hear a very loud alarm…

The alerts include a series of loud alarms meant to attract attention. These will go off even if devices are set to silent mode. The test will last for about one minute on radio and television, and cellphones should receive the alert within a half-hour of the test starting.

The test system will broadcast a message reading, “THIS IS A TEST of the National Wireless Emergency Alert System. No action is needed.” A translated message will be delivered for those whose language is set to Spanish.

So does this mean that something really bad will happen on Wednesday?

Probably not.

They are telling us that it is just a test, and hopefully that is all it is.

But they are obviously practicing because they believe that there is a reason to do so.

We live at a time when one bad thing is going to happen after another.

This summer, Hawaii was devastated by wildfires, a massive tropical storm hit California, and Hurricane Idalia caused an enormous amount of damage in Florida.

Even if a major disaster does not occur this week, the truth is that it is just a matter of time before we get hammered with more major disasters.

But some disasters are avoidable.  Hopefully our leaders will pull us back from the brink of nuclear war with Russia, because that really would mean the end of our society as we know it today.
