6 Years Of Being Manipulated By Manufactured Waves Of Outrage With No End In Sight

Are you starting to notice a pattern by now?  For the past six years, the American people have been emotionally manipulated by what I call “manufactured waves of outrage”.  Once the corporate media identifies a trigger, it will obsessively focus on it for weeks or months on end, and the narrative that develops will be echoed and magnified by millions upon millions of social media denizens.  Before too long, much of the population is whipped up into an irrational emotional frenzy, and that frenzy is used to move certain agendas forward.

To me, this new era began in 2016.  Donald Trump was a political candidate like no other, and the elite absolutely hated the fact that he did not follow their rules and that they could not control him.

So when he actually won, it truly was a catastrophic event for them.

From that moment forward, most corporate media outlets relentlessly demonized Trump.  Never before in U.S. history had a sitting U.S. president been treated in such a fashion, and we may never see anything like it ever again.

The anti-Trump narratives which were being pumped out by the corporate media were constantly fed to social media influencers on both sides of the political spectrum, and that ultimately created extremely deep political divisions in this country which still exist to this day.

Many on the left are entirely convinced that Trump is the devil, while many on the right believe that he is the greatest American that ever lived.

Of course the truth is that Trump is not actually on the far end of the political spectrum that currently exists in this country.  There is a lot about Trump that liberals should actually like, and there is a lot about Trump that conservatives should actually be criticizing.

But that is not how the debate has been framed.  If you hate Trump you are on the left, and if you love Trump you are on the right, and that is the end of the story.

In 2020, a couple things happened that caused new manufactured waves of outrage.

One was the tragic death of George Floyd.  His death sparked the BLM movement, and our country was whipped up into an emotional frenzy.  Protests, civil unrest and riots erupted all over the nation, and the level of violence that we witnessed shocked the entire planet.

But if you did not support the protesters, you were suddenly a bad person.

Instead, it was the police that were relentlessly demonized by the media, and this greatly upset a lot of us that are very supportive of the police.

Without a doubt, the U.S. has had problems with police brutality.  And without a doubt, there is a lot of racism out there.  I have been boldly speaking out against racism for many years, and I will continue to speak out against it.  I believe that every man, woman and child on the entire planet was created equal, and I believe that every single one of us possesses immense value.

But there were millions upon millions of us that did not agree with the political agenda of the BLM movement, and many of the specific political positions that the organization adopted were deeply alarming.

Does that make us bad just because we don’t agree with their far left agenda?

2020 also brought us the COVID pandemic.

Our societal divisions became deeper than ever before as we endlessly debated about masks, vaccines, mandates and other restrictions.

Manufactured waves of outrage about COVID dominated our national discourse for nearly two full years, but we were finally getting to a point where we were almost ready to put it all behind us.

And then the Ukraine war came along, and now everyone has a reason to be outraged again.

I think that Elon Musk summed things up very well in one of his latest tweets.

You may have noticed that hordes of social media lemmings are plastering their profiles with Ukrainian flags these days.

Next month, they may have to switch back to COVID again.

Then in May, the hot topic may be racial injustice.

Of course every June is reserved for the alphabet people.

Social media has become a very clear reflection of society as a whole, and so much of what goes on in our world today is being driven by social media.

Last week, I was stunned to learn that the Biden administration had actually conducted a briefing on the war in Ukraine for 30 key TikTok influencers

To get ahead of misinformation and spread its messaging, the Biden administration on Thursday briefed 30 top TikTok stars on key information regarding the war in Ukraine, The Washington Post reports.

The online influencers received updates about the U.S.’ “strategic goals in the region” while National Security Council staffers and White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki “answered questions on distributing aid to Ukrainians, working with NATO, and how the United States would react to a Russian use of nuclear weapons.”

Can you imagine the Reagan administration doing such a thing?

Of course not.

But the world has changed.

Today, the elite need the support of influencers on social media, because those social media influencers can whip up tremendous waves of manufactured outrage.

If you asked random U.S. social media users to tell you what caused the war in Ukraine, the vast majority of them could not give you any sort of a coherent answer.

And the vast majority of them would not be able to point out Ukraine on a blank map of the world.

But they do know that Russia is really bad and Ukraine is really good, and that is all that the elite really need for them to know.

For years, I have been encouraging my readers to think for themselves.

Because if you don’t learn to think for yourself, there are others that will be more than happy to do your thinking for you.

That can be a tempting path to follow, but when you let others do your thinking for you it is way too easy for them to manipulate your emotions with the latest wave of manufactured outrage.

Catastrophic Inflation: “I’ve Never Seen Prices Jump This High, This Fast”

This is what the early chapters of an inflationary meltdown look like.  Last week, we were informed that “consumer prices were 7.9% higher in February than a year ago”, and that was being touted as the highest figure “in 40 years”.  Of course those that follow my website on a regular basis already know that the reality is much worse than that.  If the inflation rate was still calculated the way that it was back in 1980, it would be over 15 percent right now.  We are already experiencing the sort of painful inflation that Americans were forced to endure during the Jimmy Carter era of the 1970s, and now the war in Ukraine is going to completely change the game moving forward.

Last week, the average price of a gallon of gasoline in the United States rose 13 percent, and since this time last year it is up 38 percent.

And now that the war in Ukraine is shifting the global energy crisis into overdrive, Americans are going to be feeling the pain of higher energy prices in a whole host of different ways

Americans are facing sticker shock at gas stations across the country, but surging global energy costs are rippling through the economy in other ways, too: Airlines are scaling back on flights. Truckers are adding fuel surcharges. And lawn care companies and mobile dog groomers are upping their service fees.

One trucking company executive that was asked about this said that he has “never seen prices jump this high, this fast”

“Customers really don’t want to hear it, but fuel prices are going through the roof so we’re having to charge more,” said John Migliorini, vice president of Lakeville Trucking in Rochester, N.Y., where diesel costs have nearly doubled to about $400,000 a month. “What choice do we have? I’ve never seen prices jump this high, this fast.”

And he is exactly correct.

Ever since the full-blown invasion of Ukraine was launched on February 24th, we have seen prices spiral out of control all over the country.

Joe Biden knows that the American people are getting restless, and he is trying to pin the blame for our inflation nightmare on Vladimir Putin.

But Vladimir Putin didn’t borrow and spend trillions upon trillions of dollars that we did not have over the last two years.

Our leaders in Washington did that.

And Vladimir Putin didn’t create trillions upon trillions of fresh dollars out of thin air and use them to prop up our financial system.

The Federal Reserve did that.

This inflation crisis started long before the war in Ukraine, but without a doubt the war in Ukraine is going to make things even worse.

In fact, the UN is now warning that global food prices could soon jump by as much as 22 percent “above their already elevated levels”

With dozens of countries around the world relying heavily on both Ukraine and Russia for food supplies, the United Nations warned Friday, the ongoing war is likely to significantly drive up global food prices and worsen malnourishment in the Global South. With both Ukraine and Russia’s ability to produce and export food uncertain, a global supply gap “could push up international food and feed prices by 8% to 22% above their already elevated levels,” said the U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).

Two weeks into Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, which has killed more than 560 civilians and forced more than 2.5 million people to flee the country, FAO said up to 30% of Ukrainian wheat fields will not be harvested in the 2022 to 2023 season due to the violence.

For the billions that are already living in poverty all over the planet, that is really, really bad news.

Here in the United States, one Oklahoma farmer told Laura Ingraham of Fox News that we are “going to get hit on every front”

“We’re going to get hit on every front, on every expense possible,” Oklahoma farmer Ben Neal told Ingraham, “From fertilizers to fuel to labor, insurance – everything in between [including] our packing supplies.”

Neal’s farm operates on a farm-to-market business model, so he has direct fuel costs for transportation. But every farmer essentially faces the same thing – crops need to be transported to processors and final markets and there are increasing fuel costs to power the trucks, trains, barges and ships that make that happen.

In other words, groceries are going to be getting more expensive.

A lot more expensive.

Meanwhile, our economic war with Russia continues to escalate.

Over the past few weeks, the U.S. has hit the Russians with a slew of economic sanctions, and without a doubt those sanctions are really starting to hurt

European energy is only one part of the sanctions piece. Financially Europe and the US have frozen deposits of euros, dollars and sterling held by Russia’s central bank, cutting Russia off from a large part of its net reserves. In manufactured goods Russia is now isolated from spare parts supplies for Boeing and Airbus aircraft and for almost every private car in Russia. Russia is also cut off from new supplies of servers (cloud computing cannot expand capacity), software and a range of high-end chips which Russia cannot yet manufacture.

Some commercial software (particularly in the oil and gas industry) only operates with regular provision of unlock keys, which will not now arrive. Some millions of Russian employees of Western companies are now functionally unemployed, while all Russians are now cut off from travel to Europe and North America. Imports of western goods of all kinds to Russia are now stalled for lack of sanctioned shipping, while exports of oil and metals are under threat from sanctions on shipowners.

The Russian economy will never be the same after this.

But will ours?

We have already been suffering through a pretty painful chip shortage for the last two years, and now the war in Ukraine threatens to take it to an entirely new level

The ongoing geopolitical tussle between Russia and Ukraine is likely to have another casualty – the semiconductor chip. Palladium and neon are two resources that are key to the production of semiconductor chips.

Given that Russia supplies over 40 percent of the world’s supply of palladium and Ukraine produces 70 percent of the global supply of neon, we can expect the global chip shortage to worsen should the military conflict persist, Tim Uy, of Moody’s Analytics wrote in a recent report.

It would be difficult to overstate the seriousness of what we are potentially facing.

Almost every industry in America relies on equipment that contains computer chips.

So what will our economy look like if the chip shortage becomes extremely severe?

And this is just one way out of hundreds that our economic war with Russia is going to hurt us.

Most Americans simply do not understand how horrible things will become if this thing stretches on for an extended period of time.

We should be hoping for peace, but instead most prominent voices seem to want to escalate matters with Russia even more.

What we are watching play out right in front of our eyes should sadden us all, because there will be no going back after this.

Nearly 2.8 Million Birds (Mostly Chickens And Turkeys) Have Died In The First Month Of America’s Raging New Bird Flu Pandemic

On top of everything else, now a highly pathogenic avian influenza pandemic is ripping across the United States, and it has already resulted in the deaths of almost 2.8 million birds.  Most of the birds that have died have been chickens or turkeys.  And since this was just in the very first month of the pandemic, there is no telling how bad it could eventually become.  What will the eventual death toll look like?  Will it be in the tens of millions?  That is definitely a possibility.  And what would happen if the bird flu mutates into a version that spreads easily among humans?  We might want to start thinking about that, because that is possible too.

I knew that the bird flu outbreak was bad, but I didn’t know that it had gotten this bad.  The following comes from a prominent farming website

With new outbreaks in Iowa and Missouri, nearly 2.8 million birds — almost entirely chickens and turkeys — have died in one month due to highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI), the Agriculture Department said on Monday. The viral disease has been identified in 23 poultry farms and backyard flocks in a dozen states since February 8, when the first report of “high path” bird flu in a domestic flock was reported.

2.8 million dead birds in just one month.

Will next month be even worse?

And the number of states that have detected bird flu has actually gone up since that article came out.  Nebraska just became the 13th state to detect a positive case of HPAI.

To me, one of the most alarming things is that this flu just keeps hitting more commercial flocks.  On Monday, officials announced that a commercial flock of turkeys in northwest Iowa had been affected

Officials announced Monday that they have identified bird flu in a commercial flock of 50,000 turkeys in northwest Iowa, the state’s second case of a virus that has been identified in multiple U.S. states.

Iowa agriculture officials and the U.S. Department of Agriculture confirmed the case in Buena Vista County, about 100 miles (160 kilometers) north of the case identified March 1 in a backyard flock of 42 ducks and chickens in Pottawattamie County.

When one bird in a flock tests positive, all of the birds have to be put down.

That is how authorities try to contain the disease.

But it just keeps popping up in widely diverse places.  Just check out what has taken place within the past few days

In the past few days officials have identified the virus on a southeast Missouri farm with 240,000 broiler chickens, a commercial mixed species flock in southeastern South Dakota and an egg-laying hen operation in northeast Maryland.

This is truly a nightmare.

And we just learned that the H5N1 strain has been detected at yet another poultry farm in Delaware

Another Delaware poultry farm has identified the highly pathogenic avian influenza strain among their population, according to Delaware Department of Agriculture officials.

According to officials, a pullet operation in New Castle County identified the H5N1 strain following federal laboratory testing.

All of the chickens at that facility were rapidly “depopulated”, and officials are assuring us that no infected birds will enter the food system

It is the first time since 2004 that avian influenza was identified in an area broiler farm, officials with the Delmarva Chicken Association (DCA) said Wednesday. All affected premises have been quarantines, and birds are being or have been depopulated to prevent spread. Birds from affected flocks will not be distributed to the food system, officials said.

At this point, this pandemic is not just limited to one geographic area.

There have been lots of cases on the east coast, and there have been cases as far west as Nebraska and South Dakota.

Basically, the area that has been affected already covers about half the nation, and we are just one month into this new plague.

Let us hope that it stays just in birds, because if it jumps to humans we are going to have a real disaster on our hands.

Since 1997, bird flu has had about a 50 percent death rate in humans…

From 1997 to now, more than 880 people worldwide were infected, with approximately a 50% case fatality proportion. That includes 20 cases and seven deaths in Hong Kong between 1997 and 2003.

The good news is that the strains that are circulating around the globe right now do not spread easily to humans.

But just like COVID, bird flu is mutating all the time.

And scientists have warned us that it could eventually mutate into a strain that does spread easily among humans.

Late last year, two people in China died after catching a strain of the bird flu known as H5N6

China has reported to more H5N6 avian flu infections in humans, both fatal in people who were sick in November and died in early December, Hong Kong’s Centre for Health Protection (CHP) said in a statement today.

The patients are a 12-year-old girl and a 79-year-old man, both from the city of Liuzhou in Guangxi province. They had both been at a live-poultry market before they got sick and started experiencing symptoms 1 day apart from each other, suggesting that they might be family members. The girl and the man died 1 day apart, the man on Dec 3 and the girl on Dec 4.

Personally, I have always been more concerned about H5N1, but the truth is that if any strain were to begin spreading like wildfire among humans the death toll would be catastrophic.

But even if this bird flu pandemic stays only in birds, we are going to lose millions upon millions of chickens and turkeys at a time when food prices have already been soaring into the stratosphere.

The global food crisis that we have been warned about is already here, and so this new plague has come at a really, really bad time.

We continue to be hit by one thing after another, and it seems like each new day brings even more bad news.

If you enjoy eating chicken or turkey, I would stock up now, because prices are only going to go higher from here.

Commodity Catastrophe! The Ukraine War Has Thrown Global Markets Into A State Of Complete And Utter Chaos

There are some people out there that thought that global financial markets would be largely unaffected by the war in Ukraine.  Those people were wrong.  This week, investors have received a very rude wake up call.  Stock prices are plunging, commodity prices are going completely nuts, and a very thick cloud of fear has descended upon Wall Street.  The fact that this war has permanently changed economic and financial conditions is starting to sink in, and it is likely that the level of panic will continue to rise in the days ahead.

At this point, even average people on the street are having discussions about the price of oil.  Just a few hours ago, it briefly spiked to 139 dollars a barrel

US crude futures jumped 6% to trade at $123 a barrel. Brent crude, the global benchmark, briefly spiked as high as $139 a barrel before easing back to $125. That’s still a leap of more than 35% in just one month.

We all knew that the price of oil was going to be going up, but very few of us expected this sort of dramatic movement so soon.

And as the price of oil goes up, so does the average price of gasoline in the United States.  According to Gas Buddy, the all-time record was just broken for the very first time since 2008

The national average price of gasoline in the U.S. today broke the existing record, rewriting the all-time high to today’s $4.104 per gallon, according to GasBuddy, the leading fuel savings platform saving North American drivers the most money on gas. The previous all-time high was set back in 2008 at $4.103 per gallon, just ahead of the U.S. Great Recession and housing crisis. The national average price of diesel is also nearing a new record, now at $4.63 per gallon, likely to break the record of $4.846 per gallon in the next two weeks.

If you can believe it, some investors are anticipating that things will get much, much worse in the weeks ahead

Prices to buy call options at higher prices surged Monday as the market assessed the possibility of a supply cut-off from Russia, one of the world’s biggest exporters. More than 1,200 contracts for the option to buy May Brent futures at $200 a barrel traded on Monday, according to ICE Futures Europe data. The options expire March 28, three days before the contract settles. The price to buy them jumped 152% to $2.39 a barrel.

A $150-a-barrel call option for the June Brent contract doubled from Friday, according to ICE, while the cost of $180 call options jumped 110%.

It may not happen immediately, but I do believe that we will eventually see oil trade for $200 a barrel.

Of course the Russians are even more pessimistic.  They are telling us that it could actually reach $300 a barrel.

Instead of doing something to fix this crisis, the Biden administration continues to act as if we are living in some sort of a fantasy world.  On Monday, Vice-President Kamala Harris was trotted out to encourage everyone to transition to electric vehicles…

‘We are all in the midst of a turning point. We have the technologies to transition to a zero emission fleet,’ Harris said during the announcement. ‘We can address the climate crisis and grow our economy at the same time.’

Perhaps someone should explain to Harris that the vast majority of Americans can’t afford to purchase a new electric vehicle at this moment.

Most of us are just going to have to get by with the vehicles that we have right now, and filling up those vehicles with gasoline is going to become really, really painful.

Meanwhile, wheat futures closed “limit up” once again on Monday

Among other commodities, the type that actually matter when considering social unrest and revolutions, wheat futures closed limit up again at a record $1,425 translating into an all time high $12.94 per bushel on fear Ukraine and Russian output will be cut off.

The price of wheat has been going higher and higher and higher.

Yesterday, when I warned that we were headed into an unprecedented global food crisis, I was not exaggerating one bit.

The era of cheap bread is over.  It won’t be too long before five dollars for a loaf of bread is considered to be a bargain, and so I would encourage you to stock up now.

I warned about a coming global famine in Lost Prophecies, and I warned about it again in 7 Year Apocalypse.  This is not a game, and the things that so many of us have been warning about are starting to come to pass right in front of our eyes.

Other commodities are going up even faster than the price of wheat.

If you can believe it, the price of nickel had risen by 82 percent at one point on Monday…

Nickel prices soared as much as 82% to $52,700 a metric ton, the highest in the 35-year history of the contract trading on the London Metal Exchange, as fears over Russian supplies triggered a historic short squeeze according to Bloomberg.

The metal added more than $22,700 to trade at a record-high $52,700 a metric ton. That builds on nickel’s 19% surge last week as banks cut exposure to Russian commodity suppliers because of Western sanctions and shippers, such as Maersk, stay clear of Russian and Ukrainian ports.

82 percent in one day!

Nickel is used in countless products.  You will find it in batteries, in stainless steel, in coins and even in guitar strings.

And it turns out that Russia is a significant player in the global nickel industry…

Russia is a large producer of nickel, supplying about 6% of global demand, according to Bloomberg. Over 70% of the nickel production is used in stainless steel. And 7% goes into EV batteries, where demand is growing in leaps and bounds. But EV batteries use highly pure “Class-1” nickel, of which Russia’s MMC Norilsk Nickel PJSC produces 17% of the supply.

As commodities soar, stock prices continue their alarming plunge.

On Monday, we actually witnessed the worst day of the year for both the Dow and the S&P 500

Stocks fell again on Monday, following four straight weeks of declines, as investors grew increasingly concerned higher energy prices stemming from the Russia-Ukraine conflict would slow the economy and raise inflation.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 797.42 points to close at 32,817.38, dragged down by a nearly 8% loss in American Express. The S&P 500 declined close to 3% to 4,201.09, falling deeper into correction territory. The 500-stock average sits more than 12% from its record close. The Nasdaq Composite lost 3.6% to 12,830.96, and now sits in bear market territory, more than 20% from its all-time close.

The fact that the Nasdaq is now in bear market territory doesn’t tell the whole story.

At this point, there are quite a few tech stocks that are already down more than 75 percent from their all-time highs.

There is carnage everywhere that you look on Wall Street, and many are wondering if the big crash is finally upon us.

I don’t have an answer to that question, but things certainly don’t look good.

The markets have been teetering on the brink of a precipice for a long time, and now the war in Ukraine may finally be the event that pushes us over the edge.

The Ukrainian People Are Being Sacrificed Like Pawns On A Chessboard By The Global Elite

44 million people live in Ukraine, and they are deeply suffering in a war that most of them did not want.  Like most of us, the vast majority of Ukrainians just want to live their lives in peace and quiet, but that isn’t going to be possible now.  So we should pray for the people of Ukraine, because they are going through a type of hell that is beyond what most of us even have the ability to imagine.  And we should be very angry with all of those that caused this war, because it didn’t have to happen.

I want to be very clear about the fact that I do not support the Russian invasion of Ukraine.  The Russians could have achieved their goals without a full-blown invasion, but now they have started World War III.

I also want to be very clear about the fact that I place a great deal of the blame for this conflict on the global elite.  The Biden administration and other western powers encouraged Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to endlessly provoke the Russians and they made all sorts of promises to him.  So Zelensky pushed all of his chips into the middle of the table even though the Russians knew that the U.S. and Europe would not fight if they invaded.

Now Russia has called the bluff, and the U.S. and Europe have stayed on the sidelines.

They certainly don’t want to fight the Russians, but they have no problem encouraging the Ukrainians to sacrifice countless lives fighting a battle that they can’t possibly win.

Asking the Ukrainians to fight Russia is like asking a skinny 10-year-old boy to fight a 25-year-old heavyweight boxing champion.

It isn’t a fair fight.

Many Ukrainians have fought bravely for their country, and this has given the Russian military more problems than they originally anticipated.

But as Clint Ehrlich has pointed out, Russia’s early struggles actually make the possibility of any sort of a negotiated conclusion to this conflict must less likely…

But the humiliating struggles they’ve experienced, which have been broadcast around the world, change the political calculus.

Russia no longer has the option of looking like a magnanimous victor by accepting a negotiated ceasefire.

If President Putin accepts something like a conditional surrender that preserves the integrity of the Ukrainian government, that will be spun as a defeat for Russia.

It may sound paradoxical from the outside, but Russia’s *tactical defeats* now make *strategic victory* imperative.

To preserve Russia’s aspiration to be a superpower, there must be no doubt at the end of the war who the victor was.

It must be Russia. By a crushing margin.

Even if it takes longer than originally anticipated, Russia will undoubtedly win this war.

And more Ukrainians will needlessly die with each passing day.

Of course it was the U.S. and other western powers that set the stage for all of this.

In 2014, the Obama administration and other western powers were behind the color revolution which violently overthrew the democratically elected government in Ukraine.

That resulted in an extremely violent civil war between the new U.S.-backed government and the separatists which were backed by Russia.

Things were relatively stable during the Trump administration, but then the Biden administration started filling Zelensky’s head with all sorts of ideas about joining NATO and taking Donetsk and Luhansk by force.

And Zelensky bought into what Biden administration officials were telling him hook, line and sinker.

The Russians tried to negotiate, but Zelensky and the Biden administration steadfastly refused to compromise.

So the Russians felt like they were out of options, and now the Biden administration does not want to fight a war that they helped to cause.

And even though his country is now being destroyed, Zelensky is continuing to talk tough

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky issued an address to the Russian people on Thursday, according to state media, in which he announced that Russia would pay “reparations” and rebuild “everything” the ongoing war has destroyed in Ukraine.

Oh really?

Precisely how does Zelensky plan to achieve that?

The Ukrainian government is also encouraging their citizens to make Molotov cocktails and to set up barriers to block the progress of Russians tanks…

The tone of Zelensky’s speech on Thursday, as reported by the government news site Ukrinform, was significantly less conciliatory than his address to the Russian people last week shortly after Putin began a full-scale assault of Ukraine, in which he emphasized friendly relations between Ukrainian and Russian people and urged Russians to pressure Putin to stop the war. The shift in tone aligns with that of statements from Ukrainian outlets on Wednesday declaring that Russian soldiers would be “slaughtered like pigs” if they attempted to surrender. Ukrainian government social media outlets are actively encouraging civilians to make Molotov cocktails, build roadblocks, and otherwise participate in the war.

Instead of telling women and children to fight the war that they helped to cause, I would like to see Zelensky and his associates get out of the bunker and do some fighting themselves.

And I would also like to see Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Antony Blinken, Jake Sullivan and other members of the Biden administration fly over to Ukraine and join the battle.

Of course the same thing applies to Vladimir Putin.  Instead of hiding in a bunker in the mountains, I would like to see him on the front lines.

Needless to say, none of these global leaders are actually going to participate in the fight.  They are way too important for that.

Instead, we are going to continue to see women and children face off against Russian tanks, and that is a disgrace.

Wouldn’t it be great if the international rules of war were changed to say that those that start a war must fight in it?

But instead of fighting for Ukraine, the global elite are attempting to put lots of pressure on Russia in other ways.  For example, all Russian-owned and bred cats have now been banned from international competitions

An international cat federation has banned all Russian-owned and bred cats from competing in international competitions, in a move that’s sure to stop Putin’s attack on Ukraine.

No, this isn’t a Babylon Bee story.

The Fédération Internationale Féline (FIFe) issued a statement saying it “cannot just witness these atrocities and do nothing.”

Yes, I am sure that the citizens of Kiev, Kharkiv and Mariupol will be greatly encouraged when they hear that.

And as Ukrainian cities are pummeled by relentless shelling, the U.S. Army has decided that now is a great time to be “putting its soldiers through training on gender pronouns”

While Russia wages a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the U.S. Army is putting its soldiers through training on gender pronouns and coaching officers on when to offer soldiers gender transition surgery, according to an official military presentation on the subject obtained by the Washington Free Beacon.

The mandatory presentation, “Policy on the Military Service of Transgender Persons and Persons with Gender Dysphoria,” was given to officers earlier this month along with instructions for them to train their subordinates on the material. Portions of the presentation were provided to the Free Beacon by a whistleblower who was ordered to undergo the training as a high-ranking officer in the Army Special Forces.

As we sit in comfort here in the western world, major Ukrainian cities are being ruthlessly encircled by Russian forces.

Millions of Ukrainians will soon be very cold and very hungry as they are relentlessly shelled by the mighty Russian military machine.

But most Ukrainians never wanted any of this.  If anyone deserves such a fate, it is the global elite that actually caused this war in the first place.

For years, I have been relentlessly warning that we were heading toward a conflict between the U.S. and Russia, but most Americans weren’t interested in such warnings.

Now World War III is here, and the global elite think that they are going to be able to watch it from a safe distance.

But this won’t just be limited to Ukraine.

War is going to spread, and it will eventually deeply affect all of us.

If The U.S. Military Attacks Russian Forces, Will Vladimir Putin Use Nuclear Weapons Against Us?

All of a sudden, there is a lot of talk in the mainstream media about establishing a “no-fly zone” over Ukraine, and that should deeply alarm all of us.  Because establishing a “no-fly zone” over Ukraine would require us to shoot at Russians, and they would inevitably start shooting back.  In other words, we would be at war with Russia.  Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky thinks that this is a wonderful idea, because he knows that western intervention is the only thing that is going to save his country at this point.  But Vladimir Putin has already warned that he is willing to use nuclear weapons against anyone that intervenes in the conflict.  Should we take that threat seriously?

A bear that feels like it has been backed into a corner is a very dangerous thing, and that is especially true when that bear possesses highly advanced nuclear weapons.

But the warmongers in Congress see no reason why this should deter us from taking action.  On Friday, U.S. Representative Adam Kinzinger publicly called for the establishment of a no-fly zone over Ukraine on Twitter

Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R-Ill.) called for the U.S. to declare a no-fly zone over Ukraine to give the country’s military a “fair fight” against invading Russian forces.

“The fate of #Ukraine is being decided tonight, but also the fate of the west. Declare a #NoFlyZone over Ukraine at the invitation of their sovereign govt,” Kinzinger tweeted on Friday.

The only way that statement can be considered rational is if Kinzinger truly believes that Vladimir Putin would never actually use nuclear weapons against the United States.

Unfortunately, Kinzinger is not alone.

On Monday, U.S. Senator Roger Wicker also spoke in favor of a no-fly zone over Ukraine

But it’s not just nobody Republicans like Kinzinger saying this stuff. Sen. Roger Wicker, R-Miss., also endorsed the idea of creating a no-fly zone over Ukraine. “Clearly, in the absence of a U.N. resolution, which Russia would veto, a strong coalition of like-minded nations should step in and seriously consider this,” Wicker told HuffPost on Monday. Wicker isn’t some back-bencher. He’ll likely become the next top Republican on the Senate Armed Services Committee after Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Okla., resigns later this year.

Unlike Kinzinger, Wicker actually has a bright political future, and so that makes his statement even more alarming.

Not to be outdone, U.S. Senator Rob Portman is actually suggesting that Ukraine should immediately be made a member of NATO

On Sunday, Sen. Rob Portman, an Ohio Republican and a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, said on Meet The Press that we should right away bring Ukraine and other countries, like Georgia, into NATO. Bringing Ukraine into NATO, a mutual defense treaty, would of course trigger Article V, which obligates all NATO members to come to the defense of a member that’s under attack. In this case, that would mean — you guessed it — the U.S. going to war with Russia.

Does Portman really want us to fight such a war?

First of all, after not being able to defeat the Taliban despite being in Afghanistan for 20 years, is the U.S. military actually prepared for such a fight?

I think that the answer to that question is obvious.

Secondly, does Portman actually believe that both sides would restrain themselves from using nuclear weapons for the duration of such a conflict?

I honestly do not understand how people like this actually get elected to Congress.

The good news is that the Biden administration has ruled out a “no-fly zone” over Ukraine for now.

But the Washington Post is suggesting that the door for such a move has been left open based on this exchange between White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki and a reporter…

PETER ALEXANDER: On military, is there any way in which the U.S. would support a no-fly zone over Ukraine?

PSAKI: Well, here’s what important for everybody to know about a no-fly zone: What that would require is implementation by the U.S. military. It would essentially mean the U.S. military would be shooting down planes – Russian planes. That is definitely escalatory. That would potentially put us into a place where we’re in a military conflict with Russia. That is not something the president wants to do.

KRISTEN WELKER: So, that’s a no on that.

PSAKI: Those are all the reasons why that’s not a good idea.

I really wish that Psaki would have clearly stated that a no-fly zone will never happen.

But she didn’t do that.

And of course Biden has repeatedly broken his promises anyway, and so any promise the Biden administration makes today could easily be broken tomorrow.

Let us hope that cooler heads prevail, because a military conflict with Russia could go nuclear very easily.

Within the last week, Vladimir Putin has publicly threatened western powers with nuclear destruction two times

In a nationally televised address last Thursday, Putin offered a menacing warning of Russia’s nuclear capability: “No matter who tries to stand in our way or all the more so create threats for our country and our people, they must know that Russia will respond immediately, and the consequences will be such as you have never seen in your entire history.” On Sunday, Putin went even further by announcing that Russia’s nuclear forces have been put on high alert, an order that NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg called “dangerous rhetoric” and “irresponsible behavior,” which “adds to the seriousness of the situation.”

There are many in the western world that are absolutely convinced that Putin is bluffing.

But he sure wasn’t bluffing about invading Ukraine, was he?

And I think that it is important to note that Putin has reportedly moved his family into an underground city in Siberia that is designed to survive a nuclear war

Vladimir Putin has in recent days hidden his family members in an ‘underground city’ in Siberia, according to a Russian professor.

The luxury hi-tech bunker is located in the Altai Mountains and was designed for protection in the event of nuclear war, said political scientist Valery Solovey, 61.

We need to understand that the mindset in Russia these days is completely different from the mindset in the western world.

To most people in the United States and Europe, the use of nuclear weapons is absolutely unthinkable.

But over in Russia, one of their most prominent news anchors just went on a wild rant in which he warned that western nations could be obliterated by “more than 500 nuclear warheads” if they continue to mess with Russia…

VLADIMIR Putin’s “propaganda chief” has threatened the West with nuclear annihilation during a rambling broadcast on Russian TV.

News anchor Dmitry Kiselyov told viewers across Russia’s 11 time zones that the West would be blown to smithereens with “more than 500 nuclear warheads” if it continued to threat Moscow.

And right now Russian nuclear submarines are conducting “drills” that are alarming many military experts…

Russian nuclear submarines sailed off for drills in the Barents Sea and mobile missile launchers roamed snow forests Tuesday in Siberia after President Vladimir Putin ordered his nation’s nuclear forces put on high alert over tensions with the West over the invasion of Ukraine.

Russia’s Northern Fleet said in a statement that several of its nuclear submarines were involved in exercises designed to “train maneuvering in stormy conditions.” It said several warships tasked with protecting northwest Russia’s Kola Peninsula, where several naval bases are located, would join the maneuvers.

The Russians have the capability to launch an absolutely devastating first strike from their super quiet “black hole” nuclear submarines.

From positions just off our coasts, those submarines could potentially reduce much of our defenses to ashes in just a matter of minutes.

Unfortunately, most Americans don’t understand how serious this threat is.

A nuclear war with Russia must be avoided, because the consequences would be unimaginable.

Thankfully, the federal government has issued some updated guidelines for how ordinary Americans should respond if a nuclear attack does actually happen…

Stay inside for 24 hours unless local authorities provide other instructions. Continue to practice social distancing by wearing a mask and by keeping a distance of at least six feet between yourself and people who not part of your household.

Family should stay where they are inside. Reunite later to avoid exposure to dangerous radiation.

Keep your pets inside.

You may not last very long after such an attack happens, but at least you can help prevent the spread of COVID by practicing social distancing and by wearing a mask.

Because that is what really matters, right?

As World War 3 Escalates, Get Ready For A Terrifying Breakdown Of Our Food And Energy Systems

If you believe that your life will continue on as normal because the war between Russia and Ukraine is on the other side of the globe, you should think again.  We were already facing the worst energy crisis since the 1970s before the war broke out, and Russia is one of the most important energy producers on the entire globe.  As energy markets are thrown into further turmoil, energy prices will go to unprecedented heights.  And as I have documented repeatedly in recent months, the global food crisis has just continued to get worse as global food supplies have continued to get tighter and tighter.  Normally, Russia and Ukraine export vast quantities of food to the rest of the world, but the war is going to change that.  We really are facing a horrifying breakdown of our food and energy systems, and that is going to affect every man, woman and child on the entire planet.

Let’s start by taking a look at the impact that this war will have on food supplies.  Even the Washington Post is admitting that the war in Ukraine will likely “push U.S. food prices even higher”

Russia’s invasion of Ukraine could push U.S. food prices even higher, as the region is one of the world’s largest producers of wheat and some vegetable oils. And the disruptions could drag on for months or even years, as crop production in the area could be halted and take a long time to restart.

This new inflation shock comes at a time when global markets remain extremely strained because of pandemic-related disruptions. The price changes impacted commodity prices in recent days and could flow through to higher costs at grocery stores and restaurants soon.

Food prices have already been rising very aggressively all over the world, and this has pushed millions upon millions of poor people at the bottom of the economic food chain into hunger.

But now this war threatens to push this crisis to a dangerous new level, because Russia and Ukraine typically produce “nearly a quarter of the world’s wheat”

Russia and Ukraine together produce nearly a quarter of the world’s wheat, feeding billions of people in the form of bread, pasta and packaged foods. The countries are also key suppliers of barley, sunflower seed oil and corn, among other products.

So if exports from those two warring nations are reduced or completely cut off, how are we possibly going to replace that output?

Does anyone have an answer for that?

Collectively, Russia and Ukraine usually account for “29 percent of all wheat exports and 75 percent of global exports of sunflower oil”

Ukraine is the world’s fourth-largest exporter of both corn and wheat. It is also the world’s largest exporter of sunflower seed oil, an important component of the world’s vegetable oil supply. Together, Russia and Ukraine supply 29 percent of all wheat exports and 75 percent of global exports of sunflower oil, said Kelly Goughary, senior research analyst Gro-Intelligence, an agriculture data platform.

This isn’t just bad.

This is really bad.

Previously, I have written about how global agricultural production is going to be down all over the globe in 2022 because fertilizer prices have started to spiral out of control.  In fact, in Africa alone it is being projected that enough food to feed 100 million people will not be grown this year because of the outrageous cost of fertilizer.

Well, guess what?

It turns out that Russia is one of the biggest global exporters of fertilizer

Russia is a key global player in natural gas, a major input to fertilizer production. Higher gas prices, and supply cuts, will further drive fertilizer prices higher. Russia is one of the biggest exporters of the three major groups of fertilizers (nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium). Physical supply cuts could further inflate fertilizer prices.

One expert that was interviewed by the Washington Post admitted that we are “headed for a supply crunch that will be hard to resolve”.

That is one of the biggest understatements that I have heard in a long time.

Even before the war erupted, some types of fertilizer had doubled in price, some had tripled in price and some had actually quadrupled in price.

A few weeks ago, I shared what one industry insider told me about fertilizer prices.  He warned that many farmers all over the U.S. simply will not be able to grow corn this year because it will not be profitable due to soaring fertilizer prices.

And now fertilizer prices are likely to go much higher.

This really is a nightmare.

Six months down the road, we are likely to see food riots all over the globe.

Meanwhile, the global energy crisis is entering a very alarming new chapter.

According to USA Today, 30 percent of all natural gas that Europe uses is provided by Russia

Russia accounts for more than 30% of Europe’s gas for home heating, industry and generating electricity, and other potential supply sources are not adequately prepared to bridge the gap if Russian gas is curtailed, Rystad Energy analysts say.

Europe is absolutely addicted to Russian gas, and without it normal life in many European cities would rapidly come to a grinding halt.

There are some that are suggesting that imports of liquefied natural gas from the United States could help while the war is raging…

Supplies of liquefied natural gas brought by ship from the U.S. has helped relieve some of Europe’s gas shortage this winter, but it’s expensive.

Meanwhile, natural gas prices in the U.S. are approximately 60% higher than a year ago, according to Rystad.

Sadly, natural gas prices all over the globe are going to continue to go higher.

As will propane prices.

As will coal prices.

And the price of oil will soon leave the $100 per barrel threshold in the rear view mirror for good.

Joe Biden is publicly saying that he will do all that he can to keep the price of gasoline down, but meanwhile his administration is working extremely hard “to freeze new oil and gas drilling leases”

As oil prices continue to rocket, now further helped along by Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the Biden administration is still fighting tooth and nail to freeze new oil and gas drilling leases – even after a court ruled against the administration for using a metric to estimate “the societal cost of carbon emissions” to justify their move.

Despite the court’s ruling, Biden’s administration has stopped new leases and permits for federal oil and gas drilling, MSN reported this week.

So when you are soon paying seven dollars for a gallon of gasoline, just remember who did this to you.

Everything is changing, and the months ahead are going to be extremely challenging.

I think that Mike Adams summed up the current state of affairs very well when he warned that we are heading for a “total collapse”

In all, these factors combine (food, war, fuel, inflation, currency, etc.) to create a total collapse of the world we once knew. Forget about affordable food or just-in-time delivery of anything. The world is about to become extremely inconvenient, expensive and broken. The supply chain disruptions will get FAR worse from here forward, and crime is going to absolutely skyrocket out of sheer desperation. Expect to see flash mobs looting grocery stores in broad daylight. Carjackings will skyrocket. Home invasions will become commonplace, even outside the cities as looting gangs hit suburbs.

All the way back in 2013, I released a novel entitled “The Beginning Of The End” in which I specifically described the insane societal environment that we will soon find ourselves living in.

So many of the things that myself and others have been warning about for so many years are starting to come to pass right in front of our eyes.

We really are heading into a nightmarish breakdown of society, and all of us will be shaken to the core as it happens.

22 Observations About The New World War Which Just Started In Ukraine

Like many of you, I have been spending a great deal of time keeping up with coverage of Russia’s horrifying invasion of Ukraine.  I am very upset with the Russians for choosing to invade the whole country, because now a line has been crossed that will never, ever be able to be uncrossed.  From here on out, there will be endless wars and rumors of wars, and countless numbers of people are going to die.  In the future, some historians may look back and determine that the coming Chinese invasion of Taiwan was the start of World War III, and others may point to the coming conflict between Israel and Iran.  But to me, February 23rd, 2022 was the start of World War III, and nothing will ever be the same again.

Since most of you have been closely following news coverage of the war, I am not going to rehash the basic facts here.  The Russians are winning victory after victory, and it appears that the battle for Ukraine could be over in a matter of days.

But once the battle for Ukraine is over, the real war will begin.

The following are 22 observations about the new world war which just started in Ukraine…

#1 Now that Russia has invaded Ukraine, any hope for peace between the United States and Russia is gone forever.

#2 The conflict between our two nations will continue until one side or the other is totally defeated.

#3 Both sides are armed with nuclear weapons, and it is just a matter of time before somebody decides to use them.

#4 As he launched the invasion of Ukraine, Vladimir Putin actually warned other countries that he could use nuclear weapons against them if they attempted to intervene.

#5 The Biden administration, the Ukrainians and the Russians all lied to us over and over again.

#6 We should all be very angry at Vladimir Putin.  He completely destroyed the last hope that the world had for peace when he launched a full invasion of Ukraine.  If he would have kept his forces in just Donetsk and Luhansk there still would have been the possibility of a diplomatic solution.

#7 Joe Biden says that he is considering hitting Russia with the biggest cyberattack in history.  That would be an act of war.

#8 If we launch a cyberattack against Russia, they will retaliate with a cyberattack of their own, and we are extremely vulnerable.

#9 The Russians have more than 1,000 different ways of making us feel pain, and they are not afraid to play dirty.

#10 I think that Volodymyr Zelensky is perhaps the stupidest head of state that I have ever seen.

#11 Zelensky pushed all of his chips into the middle of the table when the Russians knew full well that he wasn’t holding any cards.  Now he is going to lose his entire country.

#12 It appears that Zelensky actually believed that the United States and other western powers would come to his aid if the Russians invaded.  After what we have witnessed over the past year, that was an incredibly foolish thing to believe.

#13 Biden and his minions had a plan for what they wanted to accomplish in Ukraine, and that plan failed dramatically.

#14 At this stage, I think that the Biden administration will try to turn the rest of the world against the Russians and will try to suffocate the life out of them economically.  But that isn’t going to work, because Russia is very self-sufficient when it comes to food, energy and other essentials, and Putin has also signed very extensive trade agreements with China.

#15 I don’t think Putin would have made this move if he didn’t have an understanding with China behind the scenes.  The Chinese are allowing the Russians to invade Ukraine, but in return I believe that there is an agreement for the Russians to support China when the Chinese finally invade Taiwan.

#16 Now that the Chinese have seen how weakly the western powers have responded to the invasion of Ukraine, I that that makes an invasion of Taiwan much more likely.

#17 If the Chinese decide to pull the trigger, they will almost certainly do it while there is still plenty of time left in Biden’s term in office.

#18 Putin is not as smart as I thought he was.  He is going to win the battle for Ukraine, but now his country can never have positive relations with western nations ever again.

#19 The global energy crisis is going to get a whole lot worse.  Russia exports a tremendous amount of energy, and European nations gobble it up like addicts.  This conflict threatens to dislocate the flow of global energy to a degree that we haven’t seen since World War II.

#20 Many warned that our disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan would embolden the Russians to move against Ukraine.  Those that issued such warnings have been proven right.

#21 The U.S. military is in the worst condition that I have ever seen in my entire lifetime.  At this point, the U.S. military is not at all prepared to fight the Russians or anyone else for that matter.

#22 Many people out there love to criticize President Trump, but even he understood that you don’t mess with the Russians.  Unless they are messing with you, the best thing to do with the Russians is to just leave them alone.  All throughout history, those that have chosen to pick a fight with Russia have ended up regretting it.  The Russians will do whatever it takes to win, and they are absolutely ruthless.

This is truly a sad day, because this didn’t have to happen.

As I have detailed in other articles, it would have been so easy to reach a diplomatic agreement that would have kept the Russians entirely out of Ukraine.

Unfortunately, there is no use talking about that any longer, because the time for diplomacy has passed.

Hopefully many of you are starting to grasp the gravity of what we are facing.  For years, I have been relentlessly warning that war with Russia was coming, and now it is here.

I tried to warn everyone about what would happen if we stayed on the path that we were on, but now it is too late.

There is nothing more than can be done, because World War III has already started.

From this point forward, global events are going to escalate rapidly.  I would encourage all of you to prepare accordingly.
