America’s Upside Down Economy Just Took Another Bizarre Turn

Is this a good economy or a bad economy?  Well, that all depends on who you are talking to.  For most Americans, economic conditions have been absolutely horrible ever since the COVID pandemic first arrived.  More than 100,000 businesses have permanently shut down, approximately 10 million Americans are in danger of being evicted from their homes, and weekly unemployment claims have been above the old record set in the early 1980s every single week for nearly an entire year.  Meanwhile, the absolutely insane polices that the Federal Reserve and our politicians in Washington have been pursuing have made the wealthy far wealthier than ever before.  In early 2020, M1 was sitting at about 4 trillion dollars, and now it is up to 18 trillion dollars.  Much of that money has ended up in the pockets of the ultra-wealthy, and now they are spending it is some pretty odd ways. America’s Worst Drug Crisis Ever Is Causing The Streets Of Many U.S. Cities To Look Like A “Zombie Apocalypse” Has Arrived

America has been battling illegal street drugs for decades, but we have never seen anything like this.  When the COVID pandemic hit the U.S., illegal drug use dramatically surged, and that has carried over into 2021.  As I discussed a few days ago, the amount of meth that CBP agents have seized is up 9 percent so far in fiscal year 2021 and the amount of cocaine that CBP agents have seized is up 64 percent so far in fiscal year 2021.  But the largest increase has been in fentanyl traffic.  At this point, CBP agents have seized “more than 4,900 lbs of fentanyl during the first five months of FY21, already surpassing the total for all of FY20”. New Dead Sea Scroll Fragments Have Been Found For The First Time In 60 Years, And This Is What They Say…

We just witnessed one of the most exciting archaeological discoveries in decades.  For the first time in 60 years, new Dead Sea Scroll fragments have been discovered, and Israeli authorities are telling us that archaeologists will continue to carefully search the area to see if they can find more.  Due to the extremely dry conditions in the region, the fragments that have been recovered are extremely well preserved even though they appear to have been written before the time of Christ.  But to me, the biggest part of this story is what the fragments actually say. Brace Yourselves For The Most Dramatic Shift In The Standard Of Living In All Of U.S. History

So This Is How The U.S. Dollar Dies…

Our leaders are killing the U.S. dollar, and it is being done to thunderous applause.  The House and the Senate have now both passed the 1.9 trillion dollar “COVID relief bill”, and it will go to Joe Biden’s desk for his signature.  Of course we don’t actually have 1.9 trillion dollars to spend on yet another “COVID relief” package.  In fact, we don’t even have one dollar to spend on another “COVID relief” package.  Every single dollar that is spent will have to be borrowed, and that will soon push our national debt beyond the 30 trillion dollar mark.  Sadly, our politicians seem convinced that giant mountains of dollars can be printed, borrowed and spent indefinitely without any repercussions, and most Americans fully support what they are doing.  In fact, one recent poll found that a whopping 78 percent of all Americans support more stimulus checks… (Read More...)

The 10 Best U.S. States And The 10 Worst U.S. States For 2021…

This article is likely to stir up some very strong emotions.  Just a few hours ago, I discovered that U.S. News & World Report had released their list of the best U.S. states for 2021.  This immediately got my attention, because people are constantly asking me for my advice about where to move.  I always respond by saying that we are not all on the same path, and I point out that the right choice for others might be totally wrong for them.  But without a doubt, I am actively encouraging people to consider relocating during these troubled times.  In fact, earlier this week I published an article entitled “If You Need To Move Somewhere Before Everything Hits The Fan, You Need To Do It Now”.  I have very strong opinions about various parts of the country, and I am going to share some of those opinions with you in this article.
