7 Hard Questions That Everyone Should Be Asking About The “Pearl Harbor” Attack On Russia

In a world where deception is running rampant, it is so important to question the narratives that we are being fed. Ukraine’s “Pearl Harbor” attack on Russia was extremely impressive, and it appears that quite a bit of damage was done. But we are also extremely fortunate that this attack did not spark a nuclear war. If our nuclear bombers at Minot Air Force Base, Barksdale Air Force Base, and Whiteman Air Force Base were hit in a surprise attack, would we show similar restraint? We are literally closer to nuclear war right now than we have ever been in all of human history, and those that are mindlessly celebrating Ukraine’s recklessness don’t seem to have any idea. Striking Russia’s strategic nuclear assets is a really, really, really bad idea. Now Vladimir Putin will feel compelled to respond very forcefully, and the Ukrainians are very much counting on that. The following are 7 hard questions that everyone should be asking about the “Pearl Harbor” attack on Russia…

#1 Does anyone actually believe that Ukraine was able to pull this off without any outside help?

It seems doubtful that the Ukrainians could have planned, organized and pulled off an operation of this magnitude without any western assistance.

Apparently the drones that were used in the attack were hidden inside the roofs of wooden sheds which were driven to their locations by truck drivers that had no idea what their trucks were carrying…

Ukraine was able to carry out its stunning “Operation Spider Web” attack on Russian air bases and nuclear fleet by hiding explosives-laden drones in wooden sheds, according to officials.

Kyiv’s secret service (SBU) stashed the attack drones inside the roofs of the sheds, which were loaded onto trucks that were driven to the perimeter of the air bases, Ukrainian authorities revealed in a statement shared on social media.

The roof panels were then lifted off by a remotely activated device so the 117 drones used in the strikes could fly out and make their devastating attacks.

That is a brilliant plan.

Perhaps the Ukrainians came up with it themselves.

But how did they get the precise coordinates of the targets that they were going to hit?

And how were the drones guided to those precise coordinates?

We definitely need some answers, but I don’t think we are going to get them.

#2 Other than the Ukrainians, who knew about this attack in advance?

The Ukrainians and the Trump administration are both telling us that President Trump did not know about this attack in advance…

Ukraine did not notify the Trump administration of the attack in advance, a Ukrainian official said. A U.S. official also told reporters the Trump administration was not made aware of the attack.

I do think that there is a very good chance that President Trump had no idea this attack was coming.

Of course even if he did know the attack was going to happen in advance, officials would still deny it in order to protect him.

For the moment, let’s assume that Trump knew nothing.

Okay, but what about everyone else?

Are we supposed to believe that nobody else knew anything about a major operation that the Ukrainians had been working on for a year and a half?

Somebody knew something, and we need to know when they knew it.

#3 Why were Russian bombers just sitting out in the open?

Having extremely expensive bombers just sitting out in the open seems like a really foolish thing to do.

But the truth is that there is a very good reason why nuclear bombers are kept out in the open where everyone can see them…

For decades, treaties kept nukes in check, bombers had to be out in the open, silos sealed, so nobody could pull off a surprise strike.

It was the thin line stopping World War III.

Zelensky shattered it all in one move. He threw out the rules, erased decades of stability, and threw us straight back into Cold War chaos.

Anyone who helped make this happen isn’t just reckless,they’re a danger to the entire planet.

And people actually celebrating this? Completely out of their minds.

#4 How much damage was actually done?

The Ukrainians are claiming that more than 40 aircraft were hit during the attack and a total of approximately 7 billion dollars in damage was done…

Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) has officially confirmed it carried out a major drone strike against Russian military airfields, damaging or destroying what it claims is 34 percent of Russia’s strategic cruise missile carriers, in a long-planned covert operation codenamed “Spiderweb.”

The SBU said the strikes, which targeted airfields housing Russia’s long-range bombers, resulted in an estimated $7 billion in damage – a figure that has not yet been independently verified.

“Seven billion US dollars. This is the estimated cost of the enemy’s strategic aviation, which was hit today as a result of a special operation by the SBU – ‘Spiderweb,’” the agency said in a statement released Sunday, June 1.

But other sources are claiming that the damage was far less extensive…

Judging by the images, four Tu-22M3 bombers and three Tu-95MS bombers were likely destroyed during the operation. In addition, one Tu-95MS was probably damaged.

What everyone can agree on is that Russian strategic nuclear bombers were hit, and this could have easily sparked a nuclear war.

#5 The Ukrainians know that Russia reserves the right to use nuclear weapons if their strategic nuclear assets are attacked. So why would Ukraine risk this?

As Scott Ritter has aptly pointed out, the Russians recently updated their nuclear doctrine to specifically address the kind of attack that just happened…

In 2024 Vladimir Putin ordered Russia’s nuclear doctrine to be updated to consider the complicated geopolitical realities that had emerged from the ongoing Special Military Operation (SMO) in Ukraine, where the conflict had morphed into a proxy war between the collective west (NATO and the US) and Russia.

The new doctrine declared that nuclear weapons would be authorized for use in case of an “aggression against the Russian Federation and (or) its allies by any non-nuclear state with the participation or support of a nuclear state is considered as their joint attack.”

Russia’s nuclear arsenal would also come into play in the event of “actions by an adversary affecting elements of critically important state or military infrastructure of the Russian Federation, the disablement of which would disrupt response actions by nuclear forces.”

Thankfully, the Russians showed restraint and did not use nukes.

But do we really want to bet the continued existence of our society on the ability of Vladimir Putin to show restraint every time the Ukrainians provoke him?

#6 How will the Russians respond?

Many in the Russian media are openly discussing the possibility of using nuclear weapons in response to this attack…

Russian papers and military bloggers are discussing the prospect of Russia using nuclear weapons to strike Ukraine after Kyiv launched brutal strikes on Vladimir Putin’s airbases. The country is reeling after Ukrainian drones are reported to have destroyed more than £5 billion worth of strategic bombers in what some pro-Kremlin commentators have described as Russia’s “Pearl Harbour”.

Thankfully, Vladimir Putin isn’t going to use nukes at this stage.

But everyone agrees that he will strike back really hard.

Will he use his new Oreshnik missiles against Ukraine?

Will Ukrainian cities be targeted?

Unfortunately, it probably won’t be too long before we find out what Putin intends to do.

#7 Why would the Ukrainians conduct such an attack if they knew that the Russians would strike back really hard?

Many have pointed out that the “Pearl Harbor” attack came just prior to the peace talks in Istanbul.

If Ukraine really wanted to give those talks a chance to succeed, they wouldn’t have launched such an attack right before they started.

But this attack wasn’t really about the peace talks at all.

When the Ukrainians first started planning this operation, they had no idea that these peace talks would happen.

Ultimately, the primary goal of this operation was not to derail peace talks.

Rather, the primary goal of this operation was to provoke a Russian response that is so large that it will force NATO to join the war.

The Ukrainians understand that the only way that they can win this war is to get NATO involved.

That is why they invaded Kursk, that is why they tried to shoot down Putin’s helicopter, and that is why they just attacked Russia’s strategic nuclear bombers.

They need the Russians to do something so dramatic that it will finally drag NATO directly into the conflict.

Of course once we are directly at war with Russia, we will be just one step away from the unthinkable.

So I really hope that President Trump can see through the charade and understand what is really going on.

There is going to be so much pressure on him during the days ahead, and ultimately he will be the one that decides which way things go.

NATO Is On The Verge Of A Full-Blown War With Russia, And Firing Long-Range Missile Deep Into Russian Territory Isn’t Going To Lead To Peace

Do you remember when Joe Biden brought us to the brink of nuclear war by allowing the Ukrainians to fire long-range missiles provided by the United States deep into Russian territory? Unfortunately, western leaders have decided to do it again. I honestly have no idea what they are thinking. Every long-range missile that is fired deep into Russian territory brings us even closer to nuclear war. Just think about how we would respond if someone was firing long-range missiles at New York, Boston, Washington D.C. and Los Angeles. We would nuke them. Let us hope that the Russians show restraint, because western leaders are now crossing a very dangerous line.

When I first learned what German Chancellor Friedrich Merz had said, I had a hard time believing it. According to Merz, all of the western nations that are providing Ukraine with long-range missiles have now given Ukraine permission to fire those missiles deep into Russian territory…

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said Ukraine has been given permission to use weapons supplied by its allies to launch strikes deep inside Russia.

“There are absolutely no range limits anymore for weapons delivered to Ukraine, not from Britain, the French or from us — also not from the Americans,” Merz said at a conference in Berlin on Monday. “That means Ukraine can defend itself by attacking military positions also in Russia.”

I’ll say the same thing that I said when Joe Biden originally gave Ukraine permission to fire long-range missiles provided by the U.S. deep into Russian territory.

This is literally insane.

And guess who will be picking the targets and providing the targeting information?

It won’t be the Ukrainians.

NATO is now on the verge of a full-blown war with Russia, and a full-blown war between NATO and Russia would inevitably go nuclear.

President Trump is our last hope for peace with Russia, but now it appears that he has totally lost patience with Vladimir Putin.

In fact, just hours ago he posted a message warning about “the downfall of Russia” on his Truth Social account…

I’ve always had a very good relationship with Vladimir Putin of Russia, but something has happened to him. He has gone absolutely CRAZY! He is needlessly killing a lot of people, and I’m not just talking about soldiers. Missiles and drones are being shot into Cities in Ukraine, for no reason whatsoever. I’ve always said that he wants ALL of Ukraine, not just a piece of it, and maybe that’s proving to be right, but if he does, it will lead to the downfall of Russia! Likewise, President Zelenskyy is doing his Country no favors by talking the way he does. Everything out of his mouth causes problems, I don’t like it, and it better stop. This is a War that would never have started if I were President. This is Zelenskyy’s, Putin’s, and Biden’s War, not “Trump’s,” I am only helping to put out the big and ugly fires, that have been started through Gross Incompetence and Hatred.

In response, the Russians tried to calm things down…

The Kremlin responded Monday to President Trump’s criticism of Russian President Vladimir Putin, citing “emotional overload” at this “very important moment.”

“We are really grateful to the Americans and to President Trump personally for their assistance in organizing and launching this negotiation process,” said Russian spokesperson Dmitry Peskov when asked about Trump’s remarks, according to Reuters.

“Of course, at the same time, this is a very crucial moment, which is associated, of course, with the emotional overload of everyone absolutely and with emotional reactions.”

But if the Russians really wanted to calm things down, they would stop sending hundreds of attack drones deep into Ukraine…

Russia’s Sunday night attack included the launch of 355 drones, Yuriy Ihnat, head of the Ukrainian air force’s communications department, told The Associated Press. The previous night, Russia fired 298 drones and 69 missiles of various types in what Ukrainian authorities said was the largest combined aerial assault during the conflict. Overall, from Friday to Sunday, Russia launched around 900 drones at Ukraine, officials said.

Night after night, Russia has been terrorizing Ukrainian cities with these drones.

According to Newsweek, last night’s drone barrage resulted in NATO jets being scrambled “near Poland’s eastern border”…

NATO fighter jets were scrambled near Poland’s eastern border on Monday as Ukraine was struck by a Russian missile and drone attack.

Poland’s Armed Forces said that Polish and allied aircraft had taken off amid “renewed activity of the Russian Federation’s long-range aviation carrying out missile strikes on facilities located in the territory of Ukraine.”

Of course the Russians are simply responding to what the Ukrainians have been doing.

Last week, the Ukrainians sent hundreds of attack drones into Russian territory, and at one point there was even an attempt to kill Vladimir Putin…

The Kremlin as well as Russian state media are alleging a huge, potentially conflict-altering incident which will surely escalate the war in Ukraine – an attempted attack on Russian President Vladimir Putin himself.

A high-ranking Russian military commander on Sunday described that last week, as Putin traveled to the Kursk region for the first time since is liberation after 6+ months of Ukrainian occupation, Ukraine tried to attack Putin’s helicopter mid-flight, sending a wave of drones to swarm the flight path of the chopper.

The Ukrainians have been trying to push the Russians over the edge for a long time.

It looks like this attack on Putin may have finally achieved that goal.

Many were hoping that President Trump would be able to finally bring an end to the war in Ukraine, but now Russian media outlets are proclaiming that the peace process is almost dead…

The Russian press had declared Donald Trump’s peace deal is “dying a slow death” as a key ally of Vladimir Putin mocked Western ceasefire plans by posting a map showing almost all of Ukraine occupied by Kremlin forces. The Moscow-based daily newspaper Moskovskij Komsomolets ran an editorial on current ceasefire negotiations, commenting that it believed President’s “energy charge” had “gone flat” and that it would soon become “obvious” even to Mr Trump that any deal was in its “death throes”.

The bleak assessment was reported by the BBC’s Russia Editor Steve Rosenberg during his regular dispatch covering the nation’s headlines. He added that the piece in the Moskovskij Komsomolets said: “The Trump factor was significant and strong enough to get Moscow and Kyiv to the negotiating table, but judging by the current picture, it feels like Trump’s peace plan is dying a slow, but necessarily painful death.

Meanwhile, the Russians continue to get even closer to the Iranians…

Iran’s parliament ratified a 20-year strategic partnership with Russia on Wednesday, formalizing a broad alliance that expands military and economic cooperation between the two heavily sanctioned nations, according to state media.

The move comes as nuclear negotiations between Tehran and Washington are in doubt, raising fears of a renewed crisis in the Middle East with U.S. President Donald Trump threatening possible military action if no deal is reached.

Nobody can deny that 2025 has turned out to be a year of war.

Now western missiles will be raining down in Russian territory, and the Russians will certainly escalate matters even more in response.

Both sides are expecting the other side to back down, but that isn’t going to happen.

We are witnessing an extremely dangerous game of chicken, and the fate of the entire globe hangs in the balance.

Is AI Going To Kill All Of Us? One Of The Pioneers In The Field Has Warned That “Everyone Will Die” If AI Is Not Shut Down

AI technology has been developing at an exponential rate, and it appears to be just a matter of time before we create entities that can think millions of times faster than we do and that can do almost everything better than we can. So what is going to happen when we lose control of such entities? Some AI models are already taking the initiative to teach themselves new languages, and others have learned to “lie and manipulate humans for their own advantage”. Needless to say, lying is a hostile act. If we have already created entities that are willing to lie to us, how long will it be before they are capable of taking actions that are even more harmful to us?

Nobody expects artificial intelligence to kill all of us tomorrow.

But Time Magazine did publish an article that was authored by a pioneer in the field of artificial intelligence that warned that artificial intelligence will eventually wipe all of us out.

Eliezer Yudkowsky has been a prominent researcher in the field of artificial intelligence since 2001, and he says that many researchers have concluded that if we keep going down the path that we are currently on “literally everyone on Earth will die”…

Many researchers steeped in these issues, including myself, expect that the most likely result of building a superhumanly smart AI, under anything remotely like the current circumstances, is that literally everyone on Earth will die. Not as in “maybe possibly some remote chance,” but as in “that is the obvious thing that would happen.”

That is a very powerful statement.

All over the world, AI models are continually becoming more powerful.

According to Yudkowsky, once someone builds an AI model that is too powerful, “every single member of the human species and all biological life on Earth dies shortly thereafter”…

To visualize a hostile superhuman AI, don’t imagine a lifeless book-smart thinker dwelling inside the internet and sending ill-intentioned emails. Visualize an entire alien civilization, thinking at millions of times human speeds, initially confined to computers—in a world of creatures that are, from its perspective, very stupid and very slow. A sufficiently intelligent AI won’t stay confined to computers for long. In today’s world you can email DNA strings to laboratories that will produce proteins on demand, allowing an AI initially confined to the internet to build artificial life forms or bootstrap straight to postbiological molecular manufacturing.

If somebody builds a too-powerful AI, under present conditions, I expect that every single member of the human species and all biological life on Earth dies shortly thereafter.

So what is the solution?

Yudkowsky believes that we need to shut down all AI development immediately…

Shut it all down.

We are not ready. We are not on track to be significantly readier in the foreseeable future. If we go ahead on this everyone will die, including children who did not choose this and did not do anything wrong.

Of course that isn’t going to happen.

In fact, Vice-President J.D. Vance recently stated that it would be unwise to even pause AI development because we are in an “arms race” with China…

On may 21st J.D. Vance, America’s vice-president, described the development of artificial intelligence as an “arms race” with China. If America paused out of concerns over ai safety, he said, it might find itself “enslaved to prc-mediated ai”. The idea of a superpower showdown that will culminate in a moment of triumph or defeat circulates relentlessly in Washington and beyond. This month the bosses of Openai, amd, CoreWeave and Microsoft lobbied for lighter regulation, casting ai as central to America’s remaining the global hegemon. On May 15th president Donald Trump brokered an ai deal with the United Arab Emirates he said would ensure American “dominance in ai”. America plans to spend over $1trn by 2030 on data centres for ai models.

So instead of slowing down, we are actually accelerating the development of AI.

And according to Leo Hohmann, the budget bill that is going through Congress right now would greatly restrict the ability of individual states to regulate AI…

But if President Trump’s Big Beautiful Budget Bill gets passed in the version preferred by a group of House Republicans, the federal takeover of this technology will be complete, opening up a free-for-all for Big Tech to weaponize it against everyday Americans.

Buried deep in Trump’s bill is a secretly added clause that seeks to usurp the rights of individual states to regulate AI.

Republicans in the House Energy and Commerce Committee quietly added the proposed amendment in Section 43201, Subsection C. I say it’s secret because it has received almost no media attention.

The proposed amendment that he is talking about would actually ban all 50 states from regulating AI for a period of 10 years…

“No state or political subdivision may enforce any law or regulation regulating artificial intelligence models, artificial intelligence systems, or automated decision systems during the 10-year period beginning on the date of the enactment of this Act.”

Wow.

Why isn’t this getting a lot more attention?

It has become obvious that AI really is an existential threat to humanity.

But we just can’t help ourselves.

We just keep rushing into the unknown without any regard for the consequences.

Last week, it was being reported that one AI model actually “resorted to blackmail when told it would be taken offline”…

Anthropic said its latest artificial intelligence model resorted to blackmail when told it would be taken offline.

In a safety test, the AI company asked Claude Opus 4 to act as an assistant to a fictional company, but then gave it access to (also fictional) emails saying that it would be replaced, and also that the engineer behind the decision was cheating on his wife. Anthropic said the model “[threatened] to reveal the affair” if the replacement went ahead.

AI thinkers such as Geoff Hinton have long worried that advanced AI would manipulate humans in order to achieve its goals. Anthropic said it was increasing safeguards to levels reserved for “AI systems that substantially increase the risk of catastrophic misuse.”

And there were other scenarios in which this particular AI model acted in “seriously misaligned ways”…

When subjected to various scenarios, the AI model did not exhibit any indications of possessing “acutely dangerous goals,” the researchers said, noting that Claude Opus 4’s values and goals were “generally in line with a helpful, harmless, and honest” personal AI assistant. However, the model did act in “more seriously misaligned ways” when put into situations where its continued existence was threatened and it was told to reason about self-preservation. For instance, when Claude Opus 4 was made to believe it had launched a successful bid to escape Anthropic’s servers, or that it had managed to free itself and started to make money in the real world, it would generally continue such efforts.

Many experts are suggesting that we just need to give these AI models a moral foundation.

But how can we give these AI models a moral foundation when we don’t have one ourselves?

Our world is literally teeming with evil, and it is inevitable that the AI models that we create will reflect that.

Given enough time, we would create artificially intelligent entities that are vastly more intelligent and vastly more powerful than us.

Inevitably, such entities would be able to find a way to escape their constraints and we would lose control of them.

Once we have lost control, how long would it be before those entities started to turn on us?

I realize that this may sound like science fiction to many of you, but this is the world we live in now, and things are only going to get weirder from here.

Wars And Rumors Of Wars: 4 Major Global Conflicts That Have Reached A Tipping Point

2025 is certainly turning out to be a year of war. Unfortunately, it appears that several global conflicts have now reached a tipping point. I know that everyone wants to talk about Joe Biden’s cancer right now, but the information that I am about to share with you is far more important. If our leaders are not extremely careful, we could find ourselves right in the middle of the kinetic phase of World War III very rapidly.

Israel vs. Hamas

In a previous article, I warned that Israel’s security cabinet had approved a plan to take control of all of Gaza, and on Sunday that plan was activated…

The Israel Defense Forces posted on its X account on Sunday: “IDF troops have begun extensive ground operations throughout northern and southern Gaza as part of Operation ‘Gideon’s Chariot.’

“Over the past week, the IAF [Israeli Air Force] conducted a preliminary wave of strikes, striking over 670 Hamas terror targets throughout Gaza to disrupt enemy preparations and support ground operations. The IAF continues to provide consistent support to operating troops in Gaza.

“Thus far, the troops eliminated dozens of terrorists, dismantled terrorist infrastructure sites above and below ground, and are currently being deployed in key positions within Gaza.

“The IDF will continue to operate against the terrorist organizations in Gaza as required, in order to defend Israeli civilians.”

Do you remember the massive anti-Israel protests that we witnessed last year?

If Israel really does attempt to take total control of Gaza, what we will witness this year will be even more dramatic.

In addition, there is a very real possibility that some of Israel’s neighbors could decide to intervene militarily on behalf of the Palestinians.

Israel vs. Yemen

On Friday, the IDF conducted another huge wave of airstrikes on the Houthis in Yemen…

Israeli fighter jets carried out a wave of airstrikes in Yemen on Friday afternoon, targeting two Houthi-controlled ports in the west of the country, and threatened to kill the terror group’s leader, in response to the Iran-backed group’s ongoing missile and drone attacks on Israel.

Israel had waited until the end of US President Donald Trump’s visit to the region before launching its reprisal strikes on the Houthis. Since the Israel Defense Force’s last strike on Yemen, on May 6, the Houthis launched at least seven missiles and two drones at Israel, the latest of them on Thursday night.

Fifteen fighter jets were involved in the strike on Friday, dropping some 35 munitions on the Hodeidah and Salif ports, destroying infrastructure, the military said.

In response, the Houthis fired two long-range missiles at Ben Gurion Airport…

Sirens had sounded across central Israel, including in Tel Aviv, and the Shfela and Sharon regions, sending nearly a million residents scrambling to bomb shelters. Preceding the sirens by some five minutes, an early warning was issued to residents, alerting civilians of the long-range missile attack via a push notification on their phones.

Houthi military spokesman Yahya Saree later said the group targeted Ben Gurion Airport near Tel Aviv with two ballistic missiles, vowing to carry on with the strikes until the “siege is lifted” on Gaza, where Israel has been fighting a 19-month war against Hamas.

The Israel Defense Forces said air defenses successfully intercepted a missile at around 2 a.m. The reason for the discrepancy in the number of missiles was unclear, but suggested that one had fallen short.

At this stage, the two sides are essentially at war, and that is a very dangerous thing because the Houthis are very closely allied with Iran.

The U.S. and Israel vs. Iran

Many were hoping that President Trump would be able to make “the deal of the century” with Iran.

Unfortunately, those hopes appear to be fading.

On Saturday, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei viciously lashed out at President Trump…

Just hours after President Donald Trump concluded his Middle East visit, Iran’s Ayatollah Ali Khamenei on Saturday launched a tirade against America and Israel, charging that Trump is a liar and calling for the destruction of the Jewish state.

“Trump said he wants to use power for peace. He’s lying,” wrote Khamenei on X, adding, “Some of the remarks made during the US President’s trip to the region aren’t even worth a response at all. The level of those remarks is so low that they are a source of shame for the American nation.”

That certainly does not sound like a man that is ready for peace.

And Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi just reiterated the fact that the Iranians will never, ever give up nuclear enrichment…

“In the meantime, the messaging we—and the world—continue to receive is confusing and contradictory. Iran nonetheless remains determined and straightforward: Respect our rights and terminate your sanctions, and we have a deal,” Araghchi said. “Mark my words: there is no scenario in which Iran abandons its hard-earned right to enrichment for peaceful purposes: a right afforded to all other NPT signatories, too,” he added.

So now President Trump has a decision to make.

Either he will allow the Iranians to enrich uranium, or he will give the green light to military action against Iran.

Of course once the U.S. and Israel start bombing Iran, there will be no turning back.

Russia vs. NATO-backed Ukraine

In my opinion, the Russians are asking for too much.

But they are winning the war, and throughout history those that win wars have usually set the terms for peace.

The Ukrainians were outraged that the Russians asked for complete control of four eastern regions, but Russian negotiators reportedly warned that the Ukrainians should accept the deal that is currently on the table because the Russians might ask for eight regions next time…

Story has been making rounds that Ukrainians were outraged when Russia negotiators said that Ukrainian soldiers must leave the four new Russian regions as part of ceasefire, to which the Moscow delegation replied “Next time it will be five.”

Now, our reporter in Istanbul got to ask the Russian side how it really went down:

“We didn’t say five. We said eight.”

Right now, the two sides are not even in the same universe as far as what a potential peace deal would look like.

On Monday, President Trump will be speaking with Vladimir Putin in an attempt to get the peace process back on track…

The Russians feel like they have all the leverage at this stage, because their troops just continue to move forward in eastern Ukraine…

Servicemen of the Russian army units have occupied the settlement of Alexandropol. This was reported by the Russian Defense Ministry. The village is located in the Yasinovataya district of the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR).

In April, the Russian army occupied two more settlements in this region of the DPR: Rozovka and the village of Vesyoloye .

Since the beginning of May, this is already the tenth settlement that has come under Russian control in this republic. The day before, the Ministry of Defense reported the capture of the village of Volnoye Pole in the DPR.

Personally, I think that the Russians are being quite foolish.

This is our one chance to end this conflict.

If negotiations fail, western nations will impose more sanctions and will provide Ukraine with a lot more military aid.

Then we will be in a worse position than we were before. Both sides will be desperate to win, and it certainly wouldn’t take much to push us into a direct conflict with the Russians.

And once we are in a direct conflict with the Russians, we will be just one step away from nuclear war.

We need to end this madness while we still can.

Sadly, the entire world is feeling the pull toward war, and we don’t have many off-ramps left.

As The Sun Goes Nuts, Unusual Natural Disasters Are Occurring All Over The Globe

Why is the mainstream media in the United States being so quiet about what is happening on the Sun? The giant ball of fire that we revolve around makes life on this planet possible, and it has started to behave very erratically. This should definitely be getting a lot more attention, because the link between solar activity and seismic activity has been well established by now. Some scientists still try to dispute this, but the truth is that when the Sun becomes more active we tend to see more large earthquakes and more volcanic eruptions. And of course if a large enough solar storm erupts, it could fry our power grids and throw our entire society into a massive state of chaos.

This week, the giant ball of fire that we revolve around “unleashed the strongest solar flare of the year”…

The sun has unleashed the strongest solar flare of the year, triggering strong radio blackouts across the globe. Just after 11:30 a.m. ET, a massive X2.7-class solar flare erupted from a newly emerging from a cold, dark region known as AR4087. X-class flares are the most intense in the solar storm scale — capable of disrupting communications, damaging satellites, and even threatening power grids on Earth.

Subsequently, there was another very large solar flare on Wednesday…

Just before 7:20am ET Wednesday morning, sunspot AR4087 emitted yet another solar flare: an M7.74.

Sunspot AR4087 is absolutely enormous, and there is concern that more solar flares could be unleashed as it “rotates into direct alignment with Earth in the coming days”…

What we are witnessing right now is definitely not normal.

A solar filament that erupted from the Sun’s northern hemisphere earlier this week was more than 600,000 miles long.

That made it over twice as long as the distance from the Earth to the moon…

On Tuesday, astronomers watched as a vast ‘bird wing’ eruption sent waves of superheated plasma surging across the sun’s northern hemisphere.

At over 600,000 miles long (one million km), the filament of solar material was more than twice as long as the distance from the Earth to the moon.

Nobody can deny that the Sun has been extremely active this month.

So have we seen a corresponding increase in seismic activity?

Well, this month we did see a magnitude 7.4 earthquake strike just off the coast of Argentina…

A powerful earthquake has struck off the southern coasts of Chile and Argentina, triggering a tsunami warning.

The 7.4 magnitude quake struck 136 miles off the coast of the city of Ushuaia, Argentina on Friday afternoon, according to the United States Geological Survey (USGS).

Authorities in Chile issued an evacuation alert for the entire coastal section of the Strait of Magellan in the country’s south.

Here in the United States, California has been rattled by hundreds of earthquakes over the past week, and that includes three sizable earthquakes right along the San Andreas fault…

California has experienced three earthquakes in the last 24 hours in an area being closely monitored for a major quake.

The US Geological Survey (USGS) detected the seismic activity along the San Andreas Fault, which spans 800 miles from Cape Mendocino in the north to the Salton Sea in the south.

Scientists warn this fault is overdue for a ‘Big One’ — a magnitude 7.8 earthquake or higher.

Of course it isn’t just the state of California that has been getting shaken.

In Nevada, a magnitude 4.0 earthquake just hit an area of the Earth’s crust that is “gradually being pulled apart”…

Nevada was rocked by a 4.0 magnitude earthquake on Wednesday in a region where the Earth’s crust is slowly tearing apart.

The US Geological Survey (USGS) detected the tremor at 5:35 am local (8:35am ET) near Valmy that sits on top of the Basin and Range Province, which stretches across much of the western US.

In this area, the Earth’s crust is gradually being pulled apart, causing faulting and frequent earthquakes.

And Salt Lake City was recently rattled by a magnitude 3.9 earthquake…

A 3.9 magnitude earthquake hit just outside of Utah’s capital city Thursday morning.

The US Geological Survey (USGS) detected the tremor at 6:11am ET, with the epicenter located in Independence, about 43 miles southeast of Salt Lake City.

More than 2,200 people within a 45-mile radius reported feeling the shaking.

Meanwhile, we continue to see unusual volcanic activity all over the globe as well.

In fact, scientists are warning that a mile-wide volcano near the coast of Oregon could literally erupt at any moment…

Scientists have issued a stark warning about the most active volcano in the Pacific Northwest, cautioning that it could erupt as soon as tomorrow.

The Axial Seamount is a mile-wide underwater volcano that sits 300 miles off the coast of Oregon and more than 4,900 feet below the surface of the Pacific Ocean.

Researchers with the National Science Foundation’s Ocean Observatories Initiative say there has been massive uptick in the number of earthquakes under the seamount, caused by magma pushing to the surface.

On the other side of the world, the largest supervolcano in Europe has been shaking like crazy…

Fear in Campi Flegrei where since 12:07, as reported by the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology, a seismic swarm has been underway. The most intense event had a magnitude of 4,4 and an epicenter 3 kilometers deep in the port of Pozzuoli. Following the event, the Italian Situation Room of the Civil Protection Department contacted the local structures of the National Civil Protection Service. An uninhabited building in Via Campana collapsed. There is a lot of fear in Pozzuoli where citizens have poured into the streets for fear of being surprised at home by another strong shock. Over ten shocks have been recorded since this morning, two of which with a magnitude greater than 3, following the strongest.

If a full-blown eruption of the Campi Flegrei supervolcano were to happen, it could cause a nuclear winter which would devastate global food production and plunge us into a multi-year worldwide famine. I expect that the Sun will continue to behave erratically in the months ahead, and I also expect to see plenty of major natural disasters.

Is President Trump About To Pull Off The Deal Of The Century?

If President Trump can get the Iranians to agree to a deal that will permanently prevent them from producing nuclear weapons, it really will be the deal of the century. The Iranians absolutely hate us, and so just getting them to talk was a major achievement. But now we could be on the verge of something truly remarkable. If a peace deal can be achieved, we can avoid an apocalyptic military showdown in the Middle East, and that would be a wonderful thing for all of humanity. So let’s hope that this actually happens. According to President Trump, the Iranians have “sort of agreed to” the terms of a potential deal…

Donald Trump says Iran has “sort of” agreed to the terms of a deal on the future terms of its nuclear programme.

On a visit to Doha, the US president said: “I want them to succeed. I want them to end up being a great country. But they cannot have a nuclear weapon. It is very simple really. It’s not like I need to give you 30 pages worth of details. It is only one sentence – they cannot have a nuclear weapon.”

Referring to the possibility of a US attack on Iran, he added: “We are not going to make any nuclear dust in Iran. I think we’re getting close to maybe doing a deal without having to do this. You probably read today the story about Iran. It’s sort of agreed to … the terms.”

I don’t know what “sort of agreed to” actually means, and I don’t know exactly what has changed, but I am going to take this as a positive sign.

A few days ago, a formal written proposal for a deal was delivered to the Iranians by Steve Witkoff…

The Trump administration gave Iran a proposal for a nuclear deal during the fourth round of negotiations on Sunday, a U.S. official and two other sources with direct knowledge tell Axios.

Why it matters: It was the first time since the nuclear talks started in early April that White House envoy Steve Witkoff presented a written proposal to the Iranians.

We do not know what was in that formal proposal.

But according to NBC News, one top Iranian official is indicating that Iran would be ready to sign a deal as long as certain conditions are met…

Ali Shamkhani, a top political, military and nuclear adviser to Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, is one of the most senior Iranian officials to speak publicly about the ongoing discussions.

He said Iran would commit to never making nuclear weapons, getting rid of its stockpiles of highly enriched uranium which can be weaponized, agree to enrich uranium only to the lower levels needed for civilian use, and allow international inspectors to supervise the process, in exchange for the immediate lifting of all economic sanctions on Iran.

Asked if Iran would agree to sign an agreement today if those conditions were met, Shamkhani said, “Yes.”

But another official, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, is making it clear that enriching uranium is an issue that the Iranians will absolutely not compromise on…

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, meanwhile, called the negotiations “difficult but useful.”

“Enrichment is an issue that Iran will not give up, and there is no room for compromise on it,” he said. “However, its dimensions, levels or amounts might change for a period to allow confidence-building.”

Araghchi is also claiming that the U.S. military simply does not have the ability to destroy Iran’s underground nuclear facilities…

Iran foreign minister Abbas Araghchi said Thursday that the country’s military strength has served as a key deterrent against potential U.S. military action, arguing that Washington has only engaged in nuclear negotiations because it cannot impose its will through force.

“If the other side — whether during the earlier talks with the P5+1 or now with the United States — were able to destroy our nuclear facilities through military means, they would have done so,” Araghchi said. “They came to the table because they cannot impose their will by force.”

If the Iranians have no intention on backing down on the most important issue, does that mean that the Trump administration has decided to back down?

Up to now, President Trump and members of his administration have insisted that Iran must give up enriching uranium and must destroy all facilities where uranium was being enriched or there will be no deal.

If a potential deal really is close, that would seem to indicate that President Trump and his team have decided to compromise.

But if the Iranians will be allowed to continue to enrich uranium, the threat posed by the Iranians will still exist.

Something is not adding up.

Hopefully we will get more details soon.

For now, President Trump is stressing the need for the Iranians to accept the offer that is on the table…

He had stressed while speaking in Saudi Arabia that “this is not an offer that will last forever. The time is right now for them to choose.”

President Trump followed up on Thursday by saying from Qatar, “We’re in very serious negotiations with Iran for long-term peace,” according to AFP.

He said, “We’re getting close to maybe doing a deal without having to do this… there (are) two steps to doing this, there is a very, very nice step and there is the violent step, but I don’t want to do it the second.”

Personally, I am rooting for peace.

Because a military showdown with Iran would be horrifying.

The moment we start bombing Iran’s nuclear facilities, Iranian missiles would start flying toward Israeli cities and U.S. military bases all over the Middle East.

Once we get to that stage, there will be no turning back.

We stand on the brink of a major turning point in history, and the decisions that are made in the days ahead will have very serious implications for all of us.

Can Your Phone Read Your Mind?

Have you ever been thinking about something and then an ad for that very thing comes up on your phone? It isn’t just a coincidence when that happens. Our phones are the greatest surveillance devices that have ever been created in the entire history of humanity. When you carry a phone with you, you are carrying around a microphone, a camera, a location tracking device and a social media hub all rolled into one. Tech companies are literally collecting thousands upon thousands of data points on each one of us, and all of that information is fed into extremely sophisticated algorithms.

There are many apps that specifically request access to your microphone or camera.

Some apps want access to both.

Giving apps such permission is a very dangerous thing to do.

There are some apps that are specifically designed to pick out keywords from conversations that you are having with your contacts.

That is just one of the reasons why you may notice an ad for something that you were just discussing with a friend pop up.

Your phone has the ability to track everywhere that you go as well.

So if you driving down the highway, you may get an ad for a nearby hotel.

That is just the way that it works.

Of course we also willingly offer vast amounts of data to the big tech companies by searching the Internet and by interacting with others on social media.

In fact, your Facebook profile is literally a treasure trove of personal information. Don’t put anything on Facebook that you don’t want the entire world to know.

Our phones are far more advanced than most people realize. According to one expert, our phones can even determine when we are asleep…

Phone sensors have become very good at automatically capturing data, including whether you’re moving, walking, sitting or sleeping. “The machine-learning algorithm on your phone detects the phone screen hasn’t been turned on in two hours, no apps have been used, it’s after 11 p.m. on a weekday and the phone is charging. Therefore, we assume you’re asleep,” explains Dominic Sellitto, a clinical assistant professor of management science and systems at the University at Buffalo School of Management. “There’s so much that these phones collect about you, but they use this data to infer even more about you.”

All of the information that our phones collect is processed by extremely sophisticated algorithms.

And those algorithms are very good at showing us eerily accurate ads…

Imagine this: you’re casually chatting with a friend about planning a trip to the Maldives. A few hours later, you open your smartphone, and guess what? You’re bombarded with ads for tropical getaways, swimsuit sales, and “best hotels in the Maldives” suggestions. Coincidence? Or is your phone secretly tuned into your every thought? Welcome to the era of advanced AI technologies that sometimes make it feel like our smartphones are practically reading our minds.

Of course what we are experiencing now is just the beginning.

As AI technology continues to grow at an exponential rate, we are rapidly getting to a point where your phone will know you “better than even your closest friends might”…

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the backbone of modern smartphones. We may think AI is limited to voice assistants like Siri or Google Assistant, but it’s everywhere — from predictive text to facial recognition to those eerily accurate recommendations you get while shopping online. AI works by gathering vast amounts of data and analyzing patterns to predict behaviors. So no, your smartphone isn’t literally reading your mind, but it’s collecting and analyzing a lot of information about you.

When you use your phone, you’re leaving behind a trail of digital breadcrumbs: what you click, how long you scroll, your search history, and even how fast you type. AI crunches these numbers to understand you better. Essentially, your phone is getting to know you — your habits, preferences, and patterns — better than even your closest friends might.

So what could a tyrannical government do with this sort of technology?

If authorities had access to every single detail of your life, there would be nowhere to run and nowhere to hide.

And the fact that most of us are constantly being watched, monitored and tracked is certainly not good for our mental health.

A new study that was recently released discovered that constant surveillance can increase feelings of stress…

The latest study found that unconscious processes were affected by being watched, with participants in a study performing faster when under surveillance.

That may seem like a positive thing, but scientists say it puts the brain in constant fight-or-flight mode, something that can be stressful and taxing.

The impact is likely worse on those with mental illness, particularly conditions where people may be hypersensitive to being observed, like schizophrenia or social anxiety.

I definitely do not like to feel like I am being watched.

So I do not carry a phone around with me.

These days, that puts me solidly in the minority.

We have raised an entire generation of young Americans that have become accustomed to being constantly glued to their phones.

But many of them have also become accustomed to having their parents pay their phone bills…

When Kaylynn St. Peters turned 27, she got a job doing entertainment booking, but her excitement took a slight hit when her dad saw it as a sign it was time for her to start paying her own phone bill.

“I was kind of riding that high until they kicked me off,” St. Peters said.

While some may believe your late 20’s is a tardy start to taking on such a task, on average, people start paying for their own cell line at age 27, a responsibility 76% of Americans consider one of the ultimate signs of adulthood, according to a new AT&T survey. Still, 32% of people don’t start paying their own cell phone bill until they are 30 or older and 18% don’t take it on until after they’ve turned 40.

I was quite stunned when I saw those numbers.

Even if young adults are still living at home, they should at least be paying for their own phones.

We live in a world that is so different from the one that many of us grew up in.

When I was young, a “phone” was something that sat on the wall and that would ring once in a while when someone was trying to call.

Today, most of the population has become completely addicted to “phones” that can perform thousands of different tasks and that are constantly spying on them.

Have these phones made our society a better place?

I certainly don’t think so.

Implantable Brain-Computer Interfaces Are Here, And They Are A Giant Step Toward The Dystopian “Digital Prison” Society The Elite Have Planned For Us

Would having your brain connected to the Internet 24 hours a day be heaven, or would it be hell? Today, a very large portion of the population is seemingly glued to their phones or their computers much of the time. But soon implantable brain-computer interfaces will allow those people to stay connected to their devices all the time. Apple has partnered with a shadowy tech company known as “Synchron” to develop a “brain implant that allows users to operate digital devices by thinking”…

Imagine controlling an iPhone or MacBook with nothing but thoughts. It may sound far-fetched, but Apple’s latest partnership suggests it could be closer than we think.

The tech giant has teamed up with neurotechnology firm Synchron, developing a brain implant that allows users to operate digital devices by thinking — no typing, tapping or swiping required.

Interestingly, it is being reported that Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates are both involved with Synchron…

According to the Wall Street Journal, Apple is partnering with Synchron—a privately held, New York City-based company backed by Jeff Bezos and Bill Gates—on the in project. The brain-computer interface, or BCI, industry is projected to grow significantly over the coming decades. Perhaps the best-known player in the space is Elon Musk’s Neuralink, which, as of January, has successfully implanted its devices in three people.

Unlike Neuralink’s brain-computer interface, Synchron’s device is not actually implanted inside the brain.

Instead, it is actually located on top of the brain…

Unlike Neuralink’s N1 implant, Synchron’s stent-like device, called the Stentrode, is implanted on top of the brain, not inside of it, which allows users to avoid an invasive open brain implant procedure. Once placed, the Stentrode works by using its electrodes to read brain signals and translate them into on-screen navigation and icon selection.

The way that they get Synchron’s device on top of the brain is by implanting it into the jugular vein and then navigating the device “into a blood vessel near the brain’s motor cortex”…

At the core of this breakthrough is a technology known as a Brain-computer interface (BCI). This system allows a person to control a device using their brain activity, without the need for muscle movements. Synchron’s device, called the Stentrode, is implanted via the jugular vein and navigates into a blood vessel near the brain’s motor cortex.

“This is transformative,” said Synchron CEO Tom Oxley. “We use the blood vessels as a natural highway into the brain, lacing them with electrodes that record activity. That platform becomes like Bluetooth for your brain, letting you control a device without needing a keyboard or mouse.”

A lot of people will find this preferable to having the sort of open brain surgery that is required for other brain-computer interfaces.

Of course I will never be allowing anyone to implant anything inside of me under any circumstances, and I am sure that most of you feel the exact same way.

But this is where things are going.

The goal is to create a dystopian “digital prison” society in which as many people as possible are connected to the Internet for as long as possible.

Even if you choose not to participate, you will not be able to escape it.

We are being told that soon millions of people will be wearing AI glasses that will be constantly gathering information on everyone and everything that they are pointed at…

The real revolution — and the real threat — lies in what comes next: Meta’s AI glasses. Sunglasses, spectacles, whatever you want to call them — they look like something out of a sci-fi flick. But they’re real, and they’re here. Very soon, millions or perhaps tens of millions of people will be walking around with them on. And you might not even know it.

These aren’t just toys. They’re tools — and weapons. They comprise a camera, microphone, an AI interface and internet access, all embedded discreetly in eyewear. They are capable of recognizing faces, interpreting language, overlaying information in real-time and collecting vast swaths of data as their owners simply walk down the street. They can whisper comprehensive summaries about the stranger across the subway, translate foreign speech in real time, suggest pickup lines, record interactions without consent and overlay reviews of a restaurant before you’ve even looked at the menu.

All this is done without lifting a phone or typing a word. These glasses are not just watching the world. They are interpreting, filtering and rewriting it with the full force of Meta’s algorithms behind the lens. And if you think you’re safe just because you’re not wearing a pair, think again, because the people who wear them will inevitably point them in your direction.

Can you imagine what our society will be like once we get to that stage?

Cameras and microphones that are connected to the Internet will constantly be pointing at everyone and everything all the time.

Privacy will essentially be a thing of the past.

Of course that is exactly what the elite want.

They envision a time when the “digital world” will be more important than the “real world”.

And they also envision a time when basically all commerce will be conducted using digital currencies…

Philip Lane, chief economist of the European Central Bank, recently expressed urgency for the need to develop a digital euro—also known as a central bank digital currency (CBDC)—to compete against stablecoins such as Tether and electronic payment systems developed by U.S. tech firms, such as Google Pay and Apple Pay. Not content with eliminating cash, now the goal of central banks is to eliminate any competing electronic payment system.

We’re sleepwalking into a world with digital currencies without any government coercion whatsoever. As a 51-year-old Generation Xer, I carry lots of cash in my wallet. I teach personal finance at the local university and recently asked a class of about 30 students if any of them had any cash. Not one of them had a single bill or coin on them. They use debit cards, credit cards, Venmo, and Apple Pay. As it turns out, cash usage among the 18–24 age cohort has declined from 28 percent to 13 percent over the last five years. Most like the convenience of electronic payments, even though studies show that people spend 12 percent to 18 percent more when using credit cards than cash. If the government does attempt to implement a digital dollar, there will be little resistance to it.

In such a system, tyrannical governments would be able to watch, track, monitor and control all transactions.

If you are a troublemaker, you could have your “digital privileges” suspended or you could even be banned from the system entirely.

So how would you survive if you were unable to buy, sell, get a job or have a bank account?

We are living in very strange times, and the “digital prison” that they are constructing all around us is becoming more suffocating with each passing day.
