18 Signs The Collapse Of Society Is Accelerating

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

As the U.S. economy collapses, the thin veneer of civilization that we all take for granted is going to begin to disappear.  In fact, there are already an increasing number of signs that the collapse of society is accelerating.  In cities such as Chicago, roving packs of young people are “mob robbing” local businesses, randomly assaulting tourists and shoppers and are even pulling people out of vehicles.  This isn’t just happening in the “bad areas” anymore. Over the past couple of months this type of crime has been common in some of the wealthiest areas of Chicago.  In fact, many Chicago residents are now referring to “the Magnificent Mile” as “the Mug Mile”.  But it isn’t just in Chicago that this is happening.  During this past Memorial Day weekend, cities all over the United States experienced a stunning wave of mass violence.  We are supposed to be an “example” for the rest of the world, but as our economic wealth crumbles we are witnessing the collapse of society all around us.  So what is going to happen when the economy gets even worse?

The United States used to be a fairly civilized society.  But now very few people seem to care how they treat others.  That is even the case with our own government.  As you will see below, the government is now sending SWAT teams in and dragging people out of their homes over unpaid student loans.

So if the government is going to be so brutal, what kind of message does that send to our young people?

Today our young people are facing a future that looks incredibly bleak.  It is hard to have faith in the “system” when the “system” simply does not work any longer.

What are you supposed to say to a young person when you know very well that there are no jobs and that there is very little hope?

Most Americans don’t understand what is causing the collapse of the economy, but most of them do have a sinking feeling that something has seriously gone wrong.

For the last few years the American people have waited patiently for our politicians to “fix things”, but they have not gotten the job done.

Instead, our economic situation is still declining.

So now frustration is starting to boil over, and it is only going to get worse.

The following are 18 signs that the collapse of society is accelerating….

#1 In a brand new article, Janet Tavakoli has vividly described the wave of shocking violence that is currently sweeping the city of Chicago.  What she says is happening to Chicago right now is beyond alarming….

This year, all hell has broken loose in downtown Chicago. Years of under-hiring have resulted in a police force that is unprepared for wildings and gang violence. Moreover, concealed carry in Chicago is illegal, unless one follows the Constitution.

Tourists and residents have been attacked by mobs of youths on buses, on beaches, on bicycle paths, near the shops of the Magnificent Mile, and outside their homes. Mobs of shoplifters plagued “Mug Mile” stores.

Terror has descended on many of the wealthiest areas of Chicago.  Some are even calling on Chicago residents to completely avoid areas like the Magnificent Mile during the weekends until more police are brought in.

Mobs of young people are “swarming” retail stores, assaulting shoppers and pedestrians and even pulling people out of their cars.

The following is one eyewitness account of the “wildings” in Chicago that Tavakoli included in her recent article….

At about 11pm last Friday night, June 3rd, I heard shouting, screaming, horns blaring and tires screeching from my apartment…When I looked out my window to the street below I saw a crowd of about 20 young people…directly across the street from the entrance to my building. They were leaning on parked cars and clogging the street. They were screaming at people walking and driving by. I watched them stop vehicles, including taxi cabs, and pull people from the vehicles…It was a frightening scene and I was sure someone was going to be hurt.

#2 If you don’t pay your student loans you may find yourself getting dragged out of your home by a SWAT team.

You doubt this?

The following is how an article in The Daily Mail recently described one recent SWAT team raid in California that was apparently ordered by the Department of Education….

A father was dragged from his home and handcuffed in front of his children by a SWAT team looking for his estranged wife – to collect her unpaid student loans.

A stunned Kenneth Wright had his front door kicked in by the raiding party at 6 am yesterday before being dragged onto his front porch, handcuffed and led to a police car with his three children.

He says he was then detained for six hours while officers looked for his wife – who no longer lives at the house.

#3 One town in Connecticut was forced to shut down a beautiful new fountain because too many people were using it as a toilet.

#4 This most recent Memorial Day weekend, cities all over America literally turned into war zones.  There were reports of mass violence in Miami, New York, Chicago, Charlotte, Myrtle Beach, Nashville and Boston among other places.

If you want to see video of some of the violence in Miami as it was happening, you can view it here.  The video is quite disturbing so please don’t let any small children view it.

#5 One of the hottest books in America right now is a “children’s book” entitled “Go The F*k To Sleep“.

#6 A teenage girl in Washington state recently shot her Dad with a hunting bow because he took away her cell phone.

#7 In New York City, one 32-year-old man was recently charged with sexually assaulting an 85-year-old woman.

#8 Democratic strategist James Carville recently made national headlines when he told talk show host Don Imus the following….

“You know, look — this is a humanitarian — you know, you’re smart enough to see this . . . People, you know, if it continues, we’re going to start to see civil unrest in this country. I hate to say that, but I think it’s imminently possible.”

#9 According to one new study, the percentage of U.S. households that contain a married couple with children has fallen from 44.3% in 1960 to 20.2% today.

#10 In Atlanta, two dozen teens recently violently assaulted two Delta flight attendants on a train for no apparent reason.  The following is how a local Atlanta newspaper described the attacks….

Their “Clockwork Orange” style blitz was over soon after it began. The teens boarded the train, headed to Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, at the Garnett station a little after midnight seemingly intent on instilling fear. They succeeded.

“There was blood everywhere, people were hollering and screaming,” a witness told Channel 2 Action News. “We were intimidated. People were terrified. People were trying to run. But there was nowhere to run.”

#11 Federal prosecutors in Indianapolis have announced that they have broken up one of the largest child pornography rings ever discovered.  It was based in Bloomington, Indiana.

Are any small towns still safe?

#12 Barack Obama’s food safety chief is defending armed raids of raw milk producers (including a raid on an Amish farmer) and he says that the FDA will “keep doing our public health job“.

#13 In Florida, a 45-year-old Polk County sheriff’s deputy has been charged with strapping children to a desk and spanking them with sex toys.

#14 In Sioux City, Iowa a 41 year old man recently walked into the office where his boss worked and beat the living daylights out of him.  The boss suffered four chipped teeth and needed surgery to repair his nose.  Apparently the boss was planning to fire the man.

#15 A 20-year-old woman in Oklahoma has been charged with killing the family cat and using the blood as part of a costume she planned to wear to a Lady Gaga concert.

#16 McDonald’s recently held a “National Hiring Day” and about a million Americans showed up to apply for jobs at McDonald’s restaurants all around the nation.  Well, in Cleveland a horrible fight broke out between some girls and it ended up with three people being run over by a car.  You can view video of this incident right here.  Please do not watch the video if you are sensitive to graphic violence.

#17 All over the United States, vicious restaurant brawls have been erupting with alarming frequency and many of them are being posted up on YouTube for the world to see.  You can see one example of this phenomenon right here.

#18 From coast to coast, “mob robbing” has become a very disturbing trend.

So what is a “mob robbing”?

Well, basically dozens of young people storm into a store together, grab whatever they want, and storm back out again.

Recent examples of this have been caught on video in Washington D.C. and in Las Vegas.

So does anyone still doubt that we are starting to see the collapse of society?

Sadly, things are going to get a whole lot worse.

In response to a recent article entitled “The Coming Economic Hell For American Families“, a frequent commenter on my site known as “El Pollo De Oro” left the following comment about the collapse of society that is beginning to unfold….

Yes, it’s going to be VERY violent in The Banana Republic of America. Carjacking, kidnapping, drug trafficking, armed robbery and murder for hire will be major growth industries in the BRA when millions of formerly middle class Americans, now the neo-poor/neo-peasants, become increasingly desperate. The horrifying violence in Mexico will become a fact of life on this side of the border, the brutal kidnappings of the Philippines and Papua New Guinea will plague the BRA as well. Formerly middle class Americans who find themselves living in shantytown slums won’t like their new accommodations, and many of them will turn to violent crime in the hope of improving their miserable circumstances.

The truth is that about the only thing keeping our society together has been the unprecedented affluence that we have been enjoying over the past few decades.

Once that affluence is gone, the true character of the American people will come out, and we may not like what we see.

That is one reason why I pound on the economic crisis this nation is facing day after day.  Once our wealth is gone, there is going to be chaos in the streets of America.

So what are you seeing in your area of the country?  Do you see signs that the collapse of society is accelerating where you live?  Please feel free to leave a comment with your opinion below….

  • Chicago: The next Detroit.

We weren’t allowed to use a stap to discipline
our kids these last 25 years. Now, we’ll
need to use a 12-gauge, instead.

    • Jerry Parker

Yeah, Max, give them the “Big Max attack” and blow their arses off! (but only in self-defense).

  • McKinley Morganfield

The incidents in Chicago involve 3rd or 4th generation ghetto youth. Many of these young males are literally born into a life of violence & crime by virtue of ghetto welfare culture. Some of your other examples are nothing new. Violent, disgruntled employees have been around for decades now. Low incomes or welfare dependency are not necessarily the cause of crime IMO. The increasing viciousness and frequency of these incidents is a reflection of our demoralized, rude, and crass popular culture. We’ve been heading down this dead end street since the 1960s.

I do agree it will get far worse as the economy unravels and societal norms are further eroded.

  • Matt

In your opinion, when do you think the bottom will fall out and complete anarchy will be the new norm in the USA? I saw Gerald Celente say that he expects the economy to collapse in 2012.

Do you and your readers think we can avert this disaster or have we reached the point of no return? If the collapse of our society does occur, which I think it will soon, I wonder if it will be a gradual descent or a sudden plunge.

    • Michael

I don’t think it will be a single event. I think that the next “wave” of the economic collapse is fast approaching, but I also believe that there will be more waves after that.

I think that things are going to get progressively worse. There will be times when it seems like things a “recovering a bit”, but each new wave is just going to take us even lower.

      • Thecollpase

        May I interject here?
As history has shown us the decline of the Roman Empire occurred over a period of approximately 320 years, culminating on September 4, 476. The societal collapse was both the gradual disintegration of the political, economic, military, and other social institutions of Rome and the barbarian invasions that were its final doom in Western Europe.
That seems like a slow decline.
I’m sure our collapse will not be one single event that most of us are expecting. But i could be wrong.
However if any of you have any Biblical reading background remember that Babylon the great fell in one day.
However a day in the lord is like a thousand years.
So who really knows how long it will take.
But one thing we all agree on is that the collapse is occurring in front of our eyes.

        • RM

The Fed was created in 1912 so a day or 1,000 years will be 2012.

          • shaun

            that’s only 100 years….

    • Save the Republic

We have reached the point of no return. There are 2 major reasons why: “free trade” and a government that purposely and constantly overspends. “Free trade” only enables employers to move jobs to whoever will accept the least compensation, and Americans were the most highly compensated. Now there are not enough jobs in America, so the pay will spiral downward, always seeking a new “lowest bidder”. Our government has bankrupted us by 1)allowing the unconstitutional Federal Reserve to control our money and 2)consistently overspending. The government now spends so much that it cannot make it from one year to the next without borrowing trillions of dollars. The country’s lenders are starting to realize that they will never be able to be paid back, so they will stop lending. What happens then? America tries to print enough money to pay the debt, or it just doesn’t pay it. Since we don’t produce anything, what will we do when these coutries won’t accept our money anymore? Game over…

  • Gary2

Michael-thanks for calling “El Pollo De Oro” out. His insight is absolutely right on and I enjoy reading his posts.

This was a superb post. Thanks Michael.

PS-You are getting me in trouble with my wife as she says I am down reading your posts too much.

I guess this is a complement to you of sorts.

    • Michael

Sorry about that Gary – tell your wife she is free to join the conversation as well. 🙂

I know that we do not always agree, but I always enjoy reading your take on things.

I hope everyone realizes that I read every single comment that is left. I have learned a lot from the people that leave comments, and I enjoy the debates that get started.

  • schlomo

Article failed to mention the flash mobs of predominantly black youths of Philadelphia, which were particularly active and large – numbering hundreds – last year in the main shopping districts. The Tweet or Facebook posting goes out and they all converge on the central shopping areas, acting like a mob of pillaging savages. Well, not “acting” like one – they are one!

    • El Pollo de Oro

Schlomo: I live in Philly (Port Richmond, to be exact). Remember when some high school students killed a Starbucks manager during the middle of the afternoon in a subway station only a few blocks from City Hall? I think that was last year. The motive wasn’t even robbery; they decided to randomly attack someone just for the hell of it. And when that brought on a severe asthma attack, he died.

  • John Q Public

I am not seeing any violent things like you have described but I do see and talk to a bunch of ignorant people that think that everything is OK and nothing bad is going to happen. They then call me out for being anti-american and a conspiracy theorist.

    • Yes, that’s what I’m seeing too. So many with blinders on, believing the nonsense on mainstream media, if they even watch the news in lieu of “Idol” or “Gaga”. Those people, unprepared, will make the coming collapse even worse. But then again, I guess if a majority were aware and preparing, it could possibly be averted. Just a fantasy, I know!

    • T

It is one thing when it is strangers doing it. Try having your spouse mock you because you think the economy will crash and all hell will break loose. I have kept my comments to myself more and more. I don’t even worry about prepping any longer since it causes arguments between us. As cliche as it sounds, my hope is that God will provide since I am trying to submit.

      • jojo

Me, too. Same problem. It’s very lonely isn’t it?
And I don’t want it to, but it makes me love them a little less because bottom line, I’m dissed.

  • Kevin

Civilization is a by-product of wealth and wealth is born out of civilization.

Loose one and guaranteed you loose the other.

  • T

That’s because there is no “American People” anymore. America is a mob of various flotsam from the 4 sewers of the world.

    • Paul

All Americans are immigrants, or descendents of immigrants and refugees.

They all came for gold, starting with the Christian Spanish.

    • SM

You’re part of the problem. If we continue to look at our fellow citizens as “flotsam” they (and we) will continue to act like flotsam.

    • Charles Dunn

Couldnt have said it better myself!

    • sigfried

      so the melting pot….haven’t worked?!?ain’t

  • The issue is that in large part the Christian morals of our society have been lost. I live in Richmond California aka the city with the 2nd highest murder rate next to New Orleans, aka the city where the probability of you being killed is 5x higher. It is getting very serious out here, and luckily I don’t live in the rough part, however I go to the rough part to try to witness and preach. People are walking zombies. At any point their lives can be taken but the fact is, this is all they know. It is completely hopeless and when you wrote about “American Hellholes” I live in one. Richmond, CA is a post-industrial warzone. I work in the manufacturing industry, and I got here not long ago, but if you just drive through the city, the boarded up homes and abandoned warehouses tell the tale of how a deindustrialized city quickly turns to a battlefield.

    • Save the Republic

Glad to hear you are trying to reach the lost too. Birth pangs are getting really intense, time is short.

    • Eric

Wow I lived in San Mateo, and I am sure things are very different right now. I am praying for every Christian to be bold to preach God’s love for us and God’s wrath against us. It is sad that many Christians preach about God’s love but they don’t preach about God’s wraths.

    • JaneDough

I agree with Doktryn. In great part this collapse is due to the loss of Judeo-Christian principles of civility and general belief in the golden rule – treat others as you would like to be treated. It is possible to be poor and live in harmony, but because, over the past decades, we’ve seen a slow erosion of ethics and morality, replaced by relativism (your truth is whatever you want it to be), we’re seeing more and more anarchy and chaos. This will continue to worsen unless we see a spiritual transformation take place throughout all segments of society.

      • ricko

I totally agree with you that spiritual transformation have to take place. Prayer for that is our weapon. If you are a Christian i recommend seeing this documentary about Washington Dc called “Dc Street Sorcery” (Google for it), God Blesses,

  • GasPanic

I went out just the other night and heard two separate stories from women who were the recent victims of violence.

The first, a 21 year old pizza delivery girl who was held with a knife to her throat while making a delivery. They took all the money she had on her and even took the time to search her car! The second was a 30 year old woman who told me she was walking down the street and was solicited by a pimp telling her she could “make good money”. After she told him to get lost, he stabbed her in the back of the arm. She needed over twenty stitches and showed me the wound.

I sincerely hope this is not a growing trend.

  • Pipo

Got Martial Law? (Hint: read NSDP 51)
Barry would be better off running for the seat of the UN Secretary General, since he will have more power and authority than any head of state in this planet. Time for Mitt to occupy the White House in 2013, so he can teach the brute and ignorant American populace how to store food in times of tribulation.

  • Sue

I am a teacher in Ogden, Utah and this last winter I had a second grade student tell me that if I didn’t tell him how old I was that he was going to “shoot me in the back of my head.” He was suspended from school because that is a threat of violence, but nothing changed. His parents are active gang members. His future is already set, sadly to say.

  • Tamara

Definitely see it in my area!!! People are rude, selfish, inconsiderate and ridiculous. I recently had to replace the fuel pump in my car because someone put dirt in my gas tank!! Happened to (at least) my next door neighbor too. And I won’t even talk about the ridicul

  • Tamara

Oops.. Cont .. The ridiculousness that occurred when my car died on the road!! I’m surprised I survived it! I’m scared to see what will happen in the near future 🙁

  • 007

The people of Chicago deserve everything they get. They voted for the corrupt liberal democrats. You want to see the finished work of the democratic party look at Chicago and Detroit. Fourty years of total democratic control and policy. What do you get but a war zone. One would be safer in Bagdad.

Gee they just raised taxes 66% on everyone. You would think that would have solved everything. Nope, instead everyone with half a brain is getting the hell out of Chicago.

Hope the decent law abiding citizens left can at least get access to fire arms to defend themselves.

  • VegasBob

I am leaving Las Vegas next month. I was in the gaming business here from 1998-2006, until my conscience finally got the better of me and I retired. Luckily, I sold my property here at the top of the housing bubble in 2006.

In a moment of pure stupidity, I moved back here in 2010 and immediately saw what a hellhole Las Vegas had become. Large parts of Vegas were always seedy, but seedy has been replaced by hellish. The mall near where I used to live has lost a major anchor, and a lot of stores in that mall have simply gone out of business as their shoplifting losses rose to the stratosphere.

Fortunately, I had enough sense to rent last year rather than buy a place, so now that my lease is running out, I’m moving on. Real estate is still dropping like a rock here. The property I sold for 172K in 2006 would now fetch a little over 40K. That’s a 75% haircut.

All the happy talk from the government and the media about an economic recovery is pure nonsense and wishful thinking. There is no recovery and there is not going to be any real recovery for most Americans as long as oil is at $100 a barrel. It doesn’t take a PhD in economics to figure that out. No job, no income, no assets and no ability to borrow equals economic depression for tens of millions of Americans. Most fifth graders (10-year olds) who are proficient at basic arithmetic can figure that out.

I’m just lucky that I can stay retired, at least until there’s another financial crisis.

  • Steve

Tens of million of illegals are gonna make it much worse than it would be anyway.

    • apalmerjr

It’s practically a barrio around here now. Before long the illegals will outnumber us and we’ll be the illegals!

  • D-Hawk

I went on a 5 week road trip throughout the US starting in Seattle and travelling all down the west coast, then up through the midwest and eventually through to NYC.

I was blown away by the generosity of people and rarely felt unsafe, and loved what I thought was cheap petrol – or gasoline to you guys… 2.85 a gallon at the time.

I am planning on coming back and doing the east coast in August or September this year, and I have a feeling it may not be the same this time around..

  • dmurdock

Last week, a 26 yr old college student and Navy veteran threatened to kill me because I wouldn’t let him sing an x-rated karaoke rap song in front of a room full of grandparents. He said I didn’t desreve to live because I was violating his rights to free speech… I was speechless.

  • Paul

Maybe we should ask the UN to send in troops and to rescue the Americans from the humanitarian crisis.

  • Paul

Hasn’t there been some successful experiment to play classical music to keep loitering youth away?

Apparently you can also use high pitched sound the elderly cannot hear anymore as alarm sound when youth start robbing a store.

  • NUF

After visiting unimaginable violence on the peoples of Iraq and Afghanistan (to name just two) all these years, it is hardly surprising that the chickens are starting to come home to roost in the USA/BRA.

For as the Good Book (Galatians 6:7) says:
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap”.

Or – in the vernacular: Payback is a bitch.

  • hitfan

I’m going to say the following as kindly as possible.

When the real economic manure hits the fan, we’ll find out soon enough that diversity is a liability and not a strength as the media likes to proclaim.

  • Randome-11

    In previous title.

“Most Americans don’t care much about economic statistics – they just want to be able to do basic things like take their children to the doctor.”

That is exactly the root of the problem.

Had peoples looked it up, seen what is coming and gotten organized, there wouldn´t be this shit today.

    • apalmerjr

It seems like the whites in the US take care of everyone but themselves. All other races have an organization to look out after their interests but with white people it’s every man for himself! Imagine what would happen if we had a White People’s Alliance!

  • Robert Bitting

And because iniquity will abound, the love of many will grow cold. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. Matthew Ch. 24.. Be careful, or whats happening to society will happen to us as well.

  • When it all comes apart apart, it won’t just be the gangs and criminals roaming the streets that you have to worry about, so much as the former middle class, joe six pack, who had no idea of the issues we face, and was ill prepared for it.

When people are scared they will do things they never would’ve considered before. All of you who are awake out there, and are prepping, keep that in mind. Don’t make yourself a target.

  • Eric

It is a very sad day for America. We, Christians, failed to spread God’s words in our lives. It is time for us to repent from being self-center to serve one others as Bible commanded us to love our neighbors as ourselves. However, if this is what God’s will, then I pray for every Christians to remain faith in him when we go through all the trails.

  • Eric

I think it’s time for every state to issue every person a right to carry a weapon, to protect themselves from the evil people.

  • Skittles

I post your articles on Facebook and am amazed at how many people tell me I’m inciting trouble and that there is nothing wrong. My response is to ask them how much better things are for them. Yet to get an answer to that one each and every time. Once your eyes are opened, it’s really hard to close them. We would not be doing our due diligence if we don’t pass this kind of information on. Thanks for all you do.

    • Michael

I really, really appreciate the people that post these articles to Facebook. I am afraid that my presence on Facebook is quite small, but it is a great platform and hopefully we can get these articles spread more widely on Facebook because there are a whole lot of “sheeple” there.

  • what I’m seeing….I live in a rural mid western community. Prices of gas and food are up but hasn’t slowed down life as usual too much. I know it’s that time of the year when you are going to see a lot more hitch hikers, but I have been seeing a lot of displaced (homeless, travelers) persons on the highway though, and sadly expect to see much more.
Something hat concerns me…a local manufacturer of farm trailers, implements, etc. has huge government contracts being shipped to Texas. anyone have any thoughts on this?

  • RevBryan

    Bravo Michael.
Back in the late 1960’s, I engaged a then progressive on the issue of the Great Society programs of Lyndon Johnson. His take was that if we did not supply minorities with welfare and food stamps, they would eventually wreck our cities. When I taught school back in the 80’s in a small, rural Louisiana delta town, I used to remind the children that they needed to study and become educated because one day there would be no more social programs, to which I was told, “We’ll steal.”
Now it seems as if our whole society is coming unglued even and in spite of the literal flood of cash our government hands out. As Margaret Thatcher once said, “Keep your powder dry and have lots of it.”

  • michel

here in europe it seems less violent than in the USA,however in my surroundings the people I know are becoming more aware that something is wrong, there is a lot of worrying about the near future, and also denial.
I see that this makes them also very self-centered; to quote an acquaintance; “I will bash someones head in to get food for my son”
This really scared me, in a society where survival of the fittest is rule, there is always someone stronger than you, or more rutheless.
I really don’t want to live in such a world and rather die.
So instead of helping each other,it will be everyone for themselves.
This discussion was at a birthday party and in defending my Christian viewpoint I found out I was al alone in this.

  • karen

I live in the country and yesterday while I was at work people drove into my yard just on a thought that I would not be home and robbed my place. No one comes to my place I live way out, just talk to a police officer and find out how bad it is even in the country, people are losing it, can’t even drive to work unless insane people try to run you over, and this is a smaller town will only get worse.

  • CNN just had an article that said 70% of people approve of Obama. What?
I occasionly hear what I think as gunshots.
The youth of today have few morals.
I see the public with their heads in the sand.

  • El Pollo de Oro

When I got together with some friends in South Philly recently to watch the Manchester United/Barsa game, one of them asked if I’m contradicting myself when I say that The Banana Republic of America (formerly the USA) will become more and more of a police state and more and more of a crime-plagued hellhole. Wouldn’t a police state have LESS crime? My response to mi amigo: no, it’s not a contradiction. Countries with abusive, repressive governments aren’t necessarily countries with low crime. Look at Venezuela, por ejemplo: that country has a Marxist strongman for a president (Hugo Chavez), but Caracas is one of the most dangerous, crime-ravaged cities on the planet. And in the BRA, Big Brother will shred the Constitution but won’t make the streets any safer.

#2 is especially alarming because when civilians fear law enforcement as much as they fear the criminals, you know you are living in a state of chaos and anarchy. In some Third World countries, police corruption is widespread—and in those countries, many people are reluctant or unwilling to report rapes, muggings, armed robberies, carjackings, etc. because they don’t trust the cops at all. I absolutely cringe when I hear about a SWAT team going after someone for an unpaid student loan, of all things, or DEA thugs getting the wrong house because the last thing this violent, deteriorating mess of a country needs is civilians who distrust law enforcement. Benjamin Franklin said that people who are willing to sacrifice liberty for security deserve neither; Americans will have neither liberty nor security in the future.

And if the BRA is experiencing this much senseless violence and mayhem now, just imagine how bad things will get when a terrible economy becomes a lot worse. It won’t be pretty. God help The Banana Republic of America (formerly the USA)

      True Words:

And the reason for this seeming paradox is simple.

In police state (Marxist) societies, law enforcement is totally and completely politicized. That means the the police are used as a private army to keep the dictator in power. Whatever “crime fighting” they do is only for the sake of gathering fines, lining the pockets of corrupt officers, or for anything else besides the idea of serving the people who employ them.

This is only an extention of the overall truth about Marxist societies: When the government owns everything, nobody cares about anything except how they can please or manipulate the government to get what they want.

And unfortunately, that means nobody gets much of anything from the Marxists, because they are so incompetent and inefficient.

You are reaping what you sowed. Don’t expect the rest of the world you exploit and abuse to feel sorry for you.

    • Bob

One quick question for you, sir:

Which country defeated the Nazis and the Imperial Japanese in World War 2, thereby freeing the rest of the planet?

      • PeteH

Wow Bob, you must be in your 80’s by now to have helped defeat the Nazi’s and Japanese in WWII. I salute you as the WWII veteran you must be.

Me, personally, maybe it was in a blackout after a bad wild party or something, but I don’t recall freeing the planet in my life, and my friends never mentioned it. But I guess if you say I should be proud of it, I must have been freeing the world in a mental fog somehow.

We need to stop living in the *past*. Sure, we *were* a great prosperous country after WWII, a manufacturing powerhouse of great material wealth and scientific accomplishment. Now, we manufacture almost nothing (although we do put together cars from parts made in china & japan), we import 70% of our oil (we were an exporter until the 70’s), our children graduate college knowing next to nothing (and we want to cut education spending), and we praise the ‘financiers’ that rape and pillage our economy for their own personal gain.

Noel, you are just another brainwashed, totally ignorant asshole that does not know a thing you are talking about. PLEASE leave this country if you don’t like it.

Christian morals have been lost, huh? Well, where you when the mega-churches preached that Jesus wants you to be rich? Where were you when religious zealots encouraged the murder of doctors, nurses, and receptionists who happen to work in medical clinics that perform abortions?

Meanwhile, I didn’t know about some of this violence because the media has been busy with Anthony Weiner’s peccadillos. Of course if lying was the sole criteria for kicking out reps, most of Congress would be gone.

I think we need more violence and a very large march on Washington. Maybe the politicians will look up from their Blackberries and notice the country is crumbling.

    • Jonny

Well, during that time – the 70s and 80s – many Christians were looking with dismay at these sorts of things. It was just another sign of the growing decline of America.

And when many people pointed out this decline – both Christian and non-Christian – they were then laughed at and scoffed at and called names by people who insisted that China would never amount to a hill of beans and that America would always be the most powerful nation on Earth. And when the Soviet Union dissolved, their thinking was even more reinforced and justified.

One of the biggest problems in all of this is the gradual way it is progressing, one grain of sand at a time, in other words hardly even noticeable. Combine that with, even when confronted with the facts, 9 out of 10 won’t see it anyway, that is our problem. When, not if the situation tips over, the meltdown will occur with astonishing velocity and efficiency.

Taking media headlines and turning them into a prediction of collapse is a false prophesy. There has been crime like this since time began. A real vision of collapse will be when California releases the 45,000 inmates as directed by the US Supreme Court.

IMHO we should not play into the fear of what is comming. That is what is wanted, instead see our situation as a lesson, as a needed change to the way we conduct business and treat each other. The banksters, the usary fees, the whole of the corrupt DC corporation has to go and be replaced with individual responsibility and love for one another, not “things”. Again IMHO, all that we see, is the “Masters” plan to bring “Him” back into the center of our lives. Do that and and he will guide you through the rough seas to a safe harbor or fight it and become a part of the madness. “His” gift was the free will to choose our own destiny. Choose wisely my friends.

Large groups of people that descend upon a small area and break out into dance. PLease news media for the love of pete, stop contributing gasoline to the fire!!! Large groups that congregate on a sudden dime to surprise an environment whose actions are uncertain are a safety hazard and possibly destructive.

    To The Author:

It is sinful and selfish to alarm people without discussing the WHO and WHY of those who are taking advantage of the situation. I’ve read enough of your writing to suspect that you know very well. None of the reasons possible for not discussing it would get you off the hook with God.

Sam Francis elaborated upon the concept of Anarcho-Tyranny, which is the direction you seem to be going. Government (and the people who control it) and the evil-doers benefit from this relationship. I urge you to transcend this relationship which you indirectly pay fealty towards by your silence. Then you will be serving Truth and Him.

  • I live close enough to Columbus, OH to follow the news there. (Thankfully far enough away not to be regularly affected by it.) Every day there is a new report of a violent crime. I believe we are up to 70 or so murders on the year. 10 years ago this wasn’t the case. I could (and did) walk into the worst part of the city and be safe as long as I was vigilant. I wouldn’t try that for the world now. I used to be a bank teller there and there’d be maybe 1 robbery a month throughout the city. It’s at least one a week now, probably more than that. And it’s no longer the downtown banks that are getting robbed–it’s the suburban ones.

  • Fish rot from the head, and societies rot from the top.

Note that nobody responsible for the foreclosure fraud mess is even facing charges, let alone in jail. They’ve played Enron-style accounting with a whole sector of the economy, games that have cost thousands the roofs over their heads, and likely they’re going to get away with it.

When the law only applies to little people, it’s no longer the good fence that makes good neighbors. It’s just an expression of power, so people feel free to flout it if they can get away with it.

Once the crooks take over the top tiers of society, complaining about how the bottom tiers are “immoral” is just finger-pointing and blame-shifting.

  • SM

Signs? In my small, rural town they’ve already closed one elementary school (of only two) because of Michigan’s Rick Snyder’s budget cuts. Nearby, they’ve nearly eliminated the fire department and now the police must do fire protection in addition to their own job.

What you’re seeing is the result of taking nearly everything away from the majority and giving it to a very few at the top. And it started about 1981.

How can you stop that? Stop funding them! Do you have a bank account with a large bank? Get out of there! Do your banking with a small, local credit union. Don’t support the businesses that are reaping the rewards of the destruction of our middle class.

    • Harry Weisberger

It certainly would appear that Western Civilization in the U.S. and Europe is on its last legs. Since China is largely godless, India heathen, and most of the rest of the world besides Australia and South America largely Muslim, things look pretty bleak for the long haul as well as the near term.

When man killed God, man was left with only himself, so it is unsurprising that since “the Englightenment” our civilization has been spiraling downward. The only way to restore civilization is to restore God (The Holy Trinity) fully in our lives and in our society. But it will not happen until Christ returns.

So, what to do in the meantime. If you can, prepare. Prepare by setting up a life in South America or Australia. Prepare by storing guns, ammo, food, water, fuel, and precious metals if you are stuck in the U.S. Prepare witha a bug-out plan.

It is interesting how the internet and cell phones have played such an enormous role in the last few years. Obama was elected in part because of the proliferation of his propaganda via high technology. The MENA crises have been organized via this technology. UBL was located in large part through this technology. The non-mainstream in America relies upon the technology to fight the propaganda of the MSM. And now the bad guys are using the technology to coordinate attacks on the law-abiding. Scary stuff.

If you have not read THE CAMP OF THE SAINTS, you would be wise to do so.

Finally, if you can do it, get the hell out of the U.S. as fast as you can.

I used to live in California. I saw what was happening and sold my home and relocated to a rural area outside of 2002. We purchased a ranch with good water and soil. I have been improving the place all these years in order to prepare for the hard times coming. The other day a neighbor stopped by to talk about food storage and we discussed that we and our other neighbors will need to stick together to help each other. Most of these neighbors are very poor but we all have skills that are useful to each other. We are going to have to help each other to survive the coming problems we have created in our economy. Some are starting to wake up to what might be coming our way! That is good news if enough wake up in time.

    • Can I come too? I wish I had gotten out of California while there was still time.

I agree with T, there are no American people anymore. I live in Nashville Tennessee and literally everywhere I go it seems everyone around me does not speak english and are wearing burkas on their heads. Go to our hospitals and you’ll see predominantly non english speaking illegal immigrants sitting in our emergency rooms with no insurance but they expect taxpayers like me to pay for their healthcare. I have been here my whole life but sadly now I feel like I am the minority in my own city. And people wonder why America is in the shape it is in. The illegals are draining us of all our resources. They don’t contribute, don’t pay taxes, come here illegally, but march in the streets demanding us to give them equal rights and free hand outs. If we went to their countries and did the same thing, they would throw us out on our asses. America will continue to spiral downward as long as we allow all the illegal deadbeat leeches to come in and take over and steal from us what we and our ancestors have worked our whole lives to obtain. It’s very sad.

  • Is what is happening all over Europe and Mexico finally spilling into the streets of America? If we do not catch this in the bud we may not be able to catch this problem at all into the future.I have seen incidents personally that I would not want any American citizen to have to face. These things are not pranks, they are very serious crimes. They are happening in front or Americans eyes on a daily basis and getting worse. It has to tell us something is going very wrong and we have to fight it now.Think about this. When I was 10 years old I could walk the streets without a fear. Today you have to fear to walk anywhere especially at night. Is this a way to have to live? Come on let’s get American to where it used to be in the good old days.An aging gracefully citizen.

  • Russ

We can thank our Govt for pushing God and Christian values & principles out of all aspects of public life. No pledge of allegiance, no ten commandments, Etc., for this breakdown in our society.

We can blame ourselves, the American people, for not standing up and allowing the Govt to have done so.

Can we fix this? Yes! Vote all the bums out and make sure we put people into office who will stand by our God and our constitution.

Look at the big picture also. I’ve been studying history for 50 years. Several years ago I came to the conclusion that we are in the first century of a middle age period.
    1. All of the empires and colonial powers have disappeared since 1898 except for three – US, India and China. Governments are decentralizing all over. The US government is experiencing political seizures, and has begun to pass and enforce laws which are anti-democratic and arbitrary.
    2. Immigration has been accelerating since 1880 as more people from more places seek safety.
    3. World finance is being destroyed by inflation in all countries
    4. Inflation is destroying the access to higher education by the middle class.
    5. The gap between the wealthy and the middle class is widening as the banksters and others steal more and more from both shareholders and taxpayers.
    6. Food is becoming more expensive and therefore
beyond the means of many people.
    7. Government spending is totally out of control and becoming increasingly capricious.
    8. The Federal government is subsidizing corn production for ethanol production (an extremely inefficient process) which takes land out of food production.
    9. Unemployment worldwide is increasing at an alarming rate, which means that many more poor families are being created.
    10. Business is trying to hide monetary inflation by providing products in smaller quantities (the 26-ounce quart and 48-ounce half gallon) and lower quality.
For more information on middle age periods, read
    1. Michael Grant – The Climax of Rome (esp. chapter 3 – add bank bailouts to military spending. Remember that the dollar has lost 96% of its buying power since 1920.
    2. Carol G. Thomas and Craig Conant – Citadel to City-State. An account of the first middle age period (1200-700 B.C.)
    3. Morris Bishop – The Middle Ages. The second middle age period (300-1600 A.D.
Things do not have to go this far if people will take charge and demand constructive change. We have something that earlier ages did not possess.

Sorry Ken. But never in the history of the world have we had horribly wicked International Bankers that are ruling our planet. And their wickedness will have you enslaved and going to hell in no time. For they are serving Lucifer; and he has taught them how to rob and steal great wealth to enslave the whole world. And now; they are planning to put their mark of the beast chip in everybodies forehead or hand; so you will become their brainless zombie slave. And you must know God in order to resist their Mark (chip); so that you don’t go to hell. Because Revelation 13 and 14 talks about this. And Revelation 14:9-11, says that if you take their Mark (chip); you will be forever damned and doomed forever, because it will mean that you have joined Satan and his antichrist beast leader and leaders. But those of us who will reject and resist this chip, will be martyred and killed. But we will go to heaven; while they are judged and sentenced and will be in the worst parts of hell, 24/7, and without rest.

Please don’t bring “Christian values” into it- more atrocities have been committed in the name of God than for any other single reason.

While horrific, none of the examples given are anything new, other than the ready access to things not previously brought to light cell-phone cameras and the internet have provided us.

The children’s book mentioned was a JOKE, it doesn’t advocate cussing out your tiny child fer cryin’ out loud.

We live in rural Texas and honestly, when things get worse economically (I’m with you there) the people we will fear the most are the fundamental Baptists who will be able to justify taking or doing anything as long as “God” tells them it’s right as interpreted by their leaders.

    • Just another mom

Really? Fundamental Baptist’s are your first concern?

  • IWillSurvive

I live in a rural area of the Midwest. I have not seen many of the things mentioned, but that doesn’t mean we here in the Bible-belt have not seen our own warning signs. In my area we have been able to sleep well enough and always known our neighbors – up until a few months ago I did not lock my cars or my home most of the time – there was no need. That has changed, neighbors are now siphoning gas out of cars from desperation, and stealing scrap lumber, metal, livestock, produce and anything else they can get their hands on to sell or eat. Over the last year or so the police departments of some areas have started taking these seriously and actually investigated and caught a few. They are sometimes groups of people working together to amass resources to sell. We now keep a vigilant eye on our little flock of chickens and we have a colony of rabbits as well. We no longer “free range” them on our property at all – the risk of theft is too high if others know we have them. We keep any resources away from the road on the back side of our property – we also keep two German Shepherd Dogs for guarding our property. Living in the country is NOT what it used to be. Even here, though the violence is not as prevalent (yet), life has certainly changed for the worse. I believe it will get much worse – thank God we are an armed and capable household. It is sad, but necessary. In America our idyllic country living is not what it used to be and may never be again. America’s age of innocence is over…..

If you think it is bad now, just wait to see what happens if the teabaggers and other radical groups are successful in cutting off welfare payments. (Oh, let me clarify . . . cut off welfare payments to the poor . . . welfare payments to the corporations are just fine!) I don’t like the current welfare system any more than the next working guy, but a radical shift in policy will result in a radical backlash. Do radicals really think these people are going to politely move to the streets with there families and be content with eating out of garbage cans?

    • Yes, it is very radical to be self-reliant, work hard and keep the fruits of one’s labor. That this is now considered to be radical is really the crux of the problem. Since when do Americans stand around waiting to be fed? Did the pilgrims do that? If you can’t find somebody to give you a job, make one. The problem is everyone sitting around complaining that nobody is helping them or doing anything FOR them. Do it yourself. You’ll be much happier.

  • This is what happens when you throw out God. Historically very poor societies have been civilized places. Material poverty is not the problem— spiritual poverty is. We should all start going back to church.

Well first of all those things have been happening in. Chicago for a long time honestly how long do u expect people to work for pebbles while the people there working for are making billions off of them? Second how long can u tell someone to do as I say not as I do, before they say f that if u can do it so can I? That’s were r young is at with the rich, there seems to be different laws n rules for different social classes n it’s our turn to give a little hell back!! Now there’s places I get stopped because im not supposed to be there so I’ll get patted down my name ran n just plain harassed n as these ppl pass n look they believe I deserve it, well u can only feed ur dog scraps for so long before he jumps on the table! With that being said if I need to watch we’re I sogo then EVERYONE better, n the police are crooked n just like our American teachers they dnt care it’s only a paycheck so good luck with there help cause when it does hit rock bottom they’ll bailout to, so dnt blame the hungry blame the one holding the food n dnt wonna share I.e ur government

  • I can’t wait. This is going to be so much fun.

Only ONE thing is needed to restore and maintain law and order in this country: TAKE THE PANSY FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND DO-GOODER FEDERAL COURTS OUT OF LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT and leave it to local and state officials to enforce the law. Give local law enforcement the power to do their job and IT WILL BE DONE. Otherwise, face the consequences of street rule by human-animals. The Bill of Rights won’t help you when you’re being mugged by a savage. Only a legally permissable billy-club – or more – up side the head is the way to prevent or stop that kind of barbaric behavior.

Does anyone feel like they are on an island of “awareness” all alone? These types of stories pop out everyday to me but I feel that most people don’t even notice them.

My husband and I have spent the last 4 years prepping and educating ourselves on what can and WILL be coming down the pike and trying very hard to prepare ourselves for it. Meanwhile, we live in an area where most folks are more concerned about redecorating their homes, buying new cars, taking their 11 year olds to Lady GaGa concerts, shopping, etc. I recently attended a 40th b’day party where the topics of adults were: J-Lo was a great choice for People Magazines “Most Beautiful Person award” and how she is doing a fantastic job on American Idol, Justin Beiber, Greys Anatomy, marital affairs and my favorite: comparing how many pairs of shoes their pre-teen daughters have. (FYI: the winner was 40 pairs). I felt like I was having an out of body experience. I seriously cannot relate to these people anymore. Am I crazy? LOL!
I stopped trying to talk to people about the economy….they look at me like I am a maniac. Sorry for the rant….having one of those “days”.

And to answer Michael’s question about seeing the signs of collapse in our area…..I live in Atlanta Georgia. Everyday there are signs. Today’s headlines are: Babysitter kills toddler, 2 shot outside teen party, Brick thrown from I-75 overpass and several more. Don’t believe me, check it out:

I appreciate this blog and the comments!

I see it happening all over this country, it’s madness! I will turn 64 in August and I remember when I was a kid in the 50’s. Things were much different than they are now. However, as we moved into the 60’s and beyond with Vietnam and the welfare programs that were started people began to depend on them and the mood of the country changed. I think that was the begining of what we see now. The movement away from God and practicing satanism, just the general decline in society and it’s morals. I have moved to a remote spot, started a garden, gotten a 2 year supply of food and am armed, a shotgun with 00 buck and handguns. It’s sad that one has to live like this but I think that bad times are coming and if you are not prepared then you will not survive.

  • scott

When things get bad it will not be possible to go out of the house. One should have basic necessities to keep one alive until the worst is over. In the end only those who have hearts and faith in God Almighty will be left, if He so wills it. We are all in His “Hands”.

I agree the possibility of an economic collapse is real but I think these are only circumstantial points. I grew up hearing about craziness like this all the time. I do agree things are getting more out of control and will research the statistics of how much worse things are. I am sure I will find that crime has accelerated dramatically when broken down into numbers.

“The truth is that about the only thing keeping our society together has been the unprecedented affluence that we have been enjoying over the past few decades.”

It is precisely this false (debt-based) ‘affluence’ that is to blame. The ‘moral hazard of easy credit’ has exploded and will get worse, as we are still piling up debt. We have to get back to shared values, as embodied in the Constitution: limited government and sound money (silver and gold).

The tsunami if immigration (legal and illegal) since 1965 combined with the worship of diversity which dicourages cultural assimilation of immigrants, has destroyed the cohesion of our society. Hyphenated Americanism has caused our nation to become the polyglot boarding house Theodore Roosevelt warned against.

  • Katherine

I agree that things are falling apart very quickly in this country. I also agree with you, Michael, that at the root of all of it is the moral decline of the people in this country, and the complete and utter selfishness of people that goes along with it.

I am blessed enough to live in a city that is unusually wealthy compared to the rest of the country. I am, however, still seeing many signs of the economic crisis, and the collapse of society in general. I know it is only going to get much worse in the next few years. I have many friends and acquaintances who have been looking for work for months now, and they can’t find much of anything aside from the occasional part time opening at a fast food place. These are people who have excellent resumes, experience, and skills. They are becoming very frustrated. Seeing this makes me feel very grateful that both me and my husband still have good jobs that we enjoy.
I’ve also seen a huge increase in theft, vandalism, sexual assault, and violence just in the past couple of years. This is in a city that used to make the list in top places to live in the U.S. year after year.

My husband and I have our first baby on the way, due this summer. It is hard to put into words the heaviness and sadness I feel thinking about how different her childhood will be from what mine was. I absolutely know things are going to get much worse, and it will not be easy. I am trying to do my best to prepare spiritually, emotionally, and physically. I think the most important thing will be to trust God, and be prepared to live through a period of extreme turbulence and difficulty without turning away from what is moral and right.

  • Pray for the “Useful Idiots” for they know not what they do.

The only way out of this is to get the crooks in Washington D.C out of office and replace them with American Born, Patriotic, Hetrosexual, God fearing, Bible thumping, gun tot’in, men and women, who are not afraid to stand up for conservative values. Let’s take America back and give our children something to be proud of once again. We need to set an example for them and instill real values in their lives. The crooks that are running this once wonderful country into the ground need to be made into an example as well, they need to be taught that they work for us, the citizens of the UNITED States of America.HOT Tar and feathers used to work well years ago, let’s give that a try.

    • Yup. Recovering liberal here…and what you wrote up there…that is the only way.

  • Terry

You said…”boarded up homes and abandoned warehouses tell the tale of how a deindustrialized city quickly turns to a battlefield.” I see that as the trend of buying more and more foreign goods. Consider a reversing of the trend, where more and more goods are made here, requirring more and more of us to make them, thereby employing these ‘mom thugs’ and others. OK, I see this is long term, but if we start on this path, we will get to our destination. I have not heard it said yet, but the 2012 candidate who opposes free trade will/could lead us back to prosperity. This is a very different world than it was in 1930, so history repeating itself is an arguement that requires much support-that’s why I suggest this.
In the meantime, urge all who will listen to buy American and try to consume a little less from overseas manufacturers, esp. China who will not let their currency float on the exchanges, thereby making the fiscal playing field so unfair. Shame on our Gov’t for letting this condition linger for so many years, but that is another issue for another day. God Bless you and Protect you on your mission.

I am a licensed clinical social worker by profession. In my daily clinical work there is an increase in mental health issues, the collapse of families, an increase in domestic violence against women and children, a rise in pedophilia and sex crimes, the youth desensitization towards violence and personal accountability, and a general indifference of society towards the welfare of others. The “me generation” contributes to this cold indignation. What is particularly troubling is the Washington lawmakers are even more corrupt now than in the early 90s when I was a Capital Hill staffer on the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Ethics. The psychology, psychiatric, and licensed clinical social work research studies indicate that when unemployment is high and the economy is poor there is an increase in violence, crime, and poor mental health. I fear this is only the tip of the iceberg. What is your advice regarding the economic collapse of America? Something no one has mentioned is that the Chinese own us because they hold our debt. Eventually they will appear on our shores and take what they want. We still need a strong military for this very reason. I would like to hear your thoughts.

Has anyone noticed that everything REALLY started to go bad back in the mid-late 1970’s? In 1977 the Democrats passed, and Peanut signed, the Community Re-investment Act. Talk about the law of unintended consequences. Mortage lenders are required to make 30% of their loans to borrowers whom they previously would have NEVER considered. Word swiftly flowed to Mexico ‘Hey, the stupid Gringo’s are giving away money” and here came the Mexicans in their 10’s of millions. I live in Orange County, CA. Now the local papers have nothing but stories about Mexican’s killing, driving drunk, beating their wives, spraying graffiti, gang banging, 75% of them dropping out of high school, emergency rooms flooded w/ them and their litters of snotty nosed kids, rampant car theft and vandalism. And the only way any of them ever ‘pays’ for the costs they impose on society is by going to jail. And here in CA. THAT costs 3x the national average. The Heritage Foundation a couple/3 years ago published a study that says every illegal eventually will cost America $300,000. Times, say, 15 million. Do the math. If We don’t run them back across the border at gunpoint, branded on one butt cheeck with a big number ‘One’, We’re f***ed. They sneak back a second time, another brand. Third time, ************************.

    • 15 million – ha! try 30 or 40 – there are 10M in Cali alone.

One other point: for decades now the US has been carrying on pointless wars. Perhaps the most embarrassing should be the invasion of Grenada. What harm could they ever do to us. Also our government totally missed the point with communism. It was a parasitic economy which was using up all its wealth for military development while forcing its people to live in abject poverty and virtual slavery. Now the US has also become a parasitic nation destroying the working class to enrich the already super-rich parasites, who finance our elections so that our only choice is picking a candidate which is still going to make them still richer while continuing to impoverish the working class. The gap between rich and working class has been widening for decades. So what is now the difference between them and us?

  • rm

This is a classic example of what happens when you have a growing gap between the “haves” and the “have nots”. It is going to take a very creative and “gutty” solution to solve this problem. I don’t think building more prisons and additional tax cuts are going to help with this scenario.

  • mike

It is a true and sad fact that Americans the youth in particular have lost their way and the we can only hope and pray for them. We also need to be an example and provide guidance whenever we have the opportunity.
God Save America and her people.

  • Everyone wants to know what the meaning of life is. IMHO, the reason for life is to determine what is right and what is wrong, because they are NOT the same. That concept has been taken from our society and we are witnessing the result. Those who shine at living life actually take action to correct that which is wrong.

  • Kuhn

    What’s the big deal?

South Africans have had to put up with this sort of stuff for years!

  • Ted

Obama and Ghandi both now that the deadliest form of violence is poverty! The big difference is that Obama welcomes it and Ghandi tried to lead people to escape from it. The evidence is in-there is a super massive black hole in the center of our galaxy and even a bigger one in DC.

  • steven sewell

I live in an unincorporated village with no police dept, a volunteer fire dept, not one traffic light, everyone knows everyone else, close knit community, where violence is non existent, people leave their cars unlocked, even running, homes are usually locked (wasn’t always that way), but even I can imagine long term friends turning against one another when things get really bad, even small town/country rural area are not immune from such potential calamity. I can’t imagine living in a city. And I do think theres a reason why we are still pretty much at peace here. It’s because we have a tradition of depending upon one another, and helping one another. Something that got lost in the cities of America, where populations are so large, passersby are hardly recognized as fellow human beings. Here, we are so confined, we think it odd not to wave and say “hello.”

  • Laticia

Thanks for a most perceptive and sobering article.

I am not entirely sure that the roots for this upcoming social catastrophe reside in economic conditions alone. For decades, the moral fiber of the world has been deliberately corrupted. The psychopathic Rothschilds have worked very us on convincing us all that we are as vile and murderous and greedy as they are. That is the meaning of violence and greed on TV, of the phoney Christians and Jews all around us (haven’t this so-called Christians read the bible?), of the total indifference of school officials to bullying, and the condoning of prison guards of rape and terror in our vast incarceration Gulag. We read about the senseless killing of Arabs, with excuses intended only to thinly disguise the true reasons: lust for oil and power–and we accept that, caring nothing for the people who knowingly sacrifice everything for us. We suspect our government killed Pat Tillman and MLK, and they have conditioned us to accept such horrors as if life without principle is indeed worth living. They have worked hard, very hard, on corrupting us, and they have succeeded, at least when it comes to most Americans. But they haven’t gotten all of us, and those last Mohicans do plan to fight back. I cry for my country–and I’m getting out.

  • Tamanrasetti

I hope , that then in America more cities should be razed and more civilizations be drawn closer. That will probably declare landlocked nations for native americans. The power of Fed is gone , so are the enforcement of reservations treaties ,the indians will roam around San Francisco and Newyork herding their cattle , farming corn and wildoats in Austin , Denver and Tulsa . The agreement of reservation life is over . I did not expect that America would be independent in 1779 , expand by Louisiana purchase , grab massive territory which displaced my tribal affiliates in greater Mexico , later declare American empire , massacre of Lakota Sioux . What a powerful America it was! Now it shall be a junk if 17 states not withdraw from 32 other.
My nation is great , oil is plenty so is gold and gemstone , infinite fisheries , large unfarmed lands , thousand monuments , zero internal-external debt , World Bank’s also empty now ,its bankrupt , so we get the funds via Oman and … ,living in open clean air and green cloud of trees. I see an advocate on my country farm and calling me buy more land , a blue-white winged bird. We don’t worry for money. We got enough food , we don’t need extra grain because we keep not many cattle , donkey ,horse. We don’t have mountains. Its Sheba here… Where the King of Kings lives.
America will be beautiful and wealthy if you divide into two Federations , East and West.

  • Steve

This is possibly the stupidest article I’ve ever read. Almost all of these examples are overblown and isolated incidents. You sir are a retard.

I live in Fargo,ND and we have been having a rash of crime lately. In the past 6 months we have had multiple gas station robberies, bank robberies, and the latest, a shooting at one of our three movie theaters. In 80% of the cases minorities were involved. I am no racist but when you cobble together all these nationalities into one area, Bosnians, Somalis, Mexicans, Whites, etc. you are going to have trouble. Many don’t come from the same type of culture that we have here in Fargo. When I was a kid these types of things never happened. Now it seems like it’s an weekly occurance.

  • BigM

I sort of feel pretty good about living at the top right corner of the country, since life here is not so hectic. But I am surround by many tree loving, , nonsensical, Obama & earth worshiping, libs….lol.

So, all that you have posted above is possible here in Maine, but as of yet, we nothing like that happening here at the moment.

But I know…..give it time. All I can do at this point is pray and trust in HIM and prepare best I can.

  • “Once that affluence is gone, the true character of the American people will come out, and we may not like what we see.”

Kind of a chickenshit thing to say. What you really mean is that that the character of the welfare scumbags and urban morons will come out. These are not our countrymen, and not Americans. What many good Americans will see, however, is the telescopic image of the losers heads in their rifle scopes.

Time to man up. If you or your family are threatened by any kind of these criminal idiots, kill them. Do the world a favor. Self defense is not a crime. If you live in any of the urban centers of the USA and you are not armed then you are part of the problem. Show me a jury that will convict someone who is defending themselves or their family or other innocent people.

Better yet, get out of the cesspools that cities have become and start living like human beings again. For the author to imply that the “true character” of Americans is larceny and mayhem is simply wrong. Time to choose sides. Which will you be on?

  • Golden Child

All of this observant commentary about young people in America beginning to act like third world savages is alarmingly true. 20 somethings, teenagers and kids are the biggest losers of the economic downturn. They can’t get a summer job at McDonald’s because illegal immigrants and recent college grads unable to find real jobs have taken all the low-wage low-skill labor that gave teenagers spending money for shoes, clothes and partying. In some areas of the country, the age old teenage rebellious tradition of selling weed is no longer profitable as the average consumer dollar shrinks. Many kids have dropped out of school because teachers don’t care if they show up or not and the quality of public education is in the toilet. Having millions of broke, jobless, directionless, shiftless kids around from the suburbs to the inner city is not the recipe for a civil society. However, America still is a very materialistic and capitalist society where even kids in the projects are expected to wear a brand new shiny pair of $300 Nikes everyday. This extreme neglect and economic deprivation of young people, particularly young minorities, is turing them into animals. About a month ago I was robbed in broad daylight walking to the store on a picture perfect 75 degree sunny day at 1 PM by two high school dropout teenagers on the path in my nice suburban town which is located in third richest county in America! A few months before that I was beaten unconscious by random drunk young people on the path near my home that I woke up in the hospital getting stitches in my face. This will be one dangerous summer for places all across America.

    • Latin America has been plundered by the USA, what you are seeing now and your own politicians stealing and doing all of you idiots, as they always have with us hope you feel on the skin which here in latin america feel in relation to its political, would you read a good bit of history, Americans and Mexicans are different only in the culture and language, all other things are equal to you, American patriotism and a way to fool the people to do what obama bush and company limited are sending their children to die, that has nothing of patriotism, rinse your mouth before talking to us. USA open your mind now the rulers are undermining their own nation. unfortunate

      • Teknikid

Gabriel, I will be the first to admit we have corrupt leaders over the US, but so does Mexico. How can you say the US has plundered Latin America when immigrants pour over the border illegally and use up US resources such as education and health care? Are they paying taxes to the US for these benefits? No. The US is being plundered by the self-entitled people of Mexico who believe not in US law, but break it daily.

    • M Powers

Very true. Sorry to hear what happened to you and it’s starting to happen all over.

  • ed martinez

Just prepare yourself spiritually because material possessions, or the thought of losing them, will only worry you sick. And remember, things must get worse before they can get better. Or so we hope.

    • Abia The Cat

You are so right. Material things will become bait, the attractant leading to these thugs wanting to come into your home and assault you as society breaks down. The History Channel has a good survival program, usually ran with the nuclear apocalypse in D.C. program, about what to expect when society fails.

  • In the 30+ years I have lived in the USA, (originally from the UK), I have observed a steady social decline. Some years ago I became aware that, amidst all the distortion & spin, it was becoming harder and harder to find out the truth about anything. I don’t think that a social colapse will reveal the “true” character of the American people, only the “true” nature of all humanity, with which Americans have a lot in common. Civilization is a thin veneer over our more savage nature. And civilization is a luxury of wealth. The inevitable reduction in the American standard of living, especially that of the poorest classes, will strip away much of this facade. Poverty, relative as it is, has produced numerous groups who have little investment in the status quo, and little to lose other than social restraint. Revolution, viewed as an anarchic breakdown of order, is the belief of those with more at stake in the current social structures.

    • Randome-11

“only the “true” nature of all humanity,”

      Nope, that´s false.

Look at Japan, did they have epidemic murder, looting and rap as in New Orleane? Nope.
Was there widspread looting in Moscow during the 2004 power shortages? Nope.

  • Matt

I have to say that this website and The End of the American Dream are amazing resources.

I live in San Mateo County, CA and there are more and more reports of robberies, vandalism and violence going on every week. San Jose, CA is seeing a huge rise in homicides as well.

It’s absolutely heartbreaking to see our once fine country fall into this abyss.

    • Michael

Thank you for saying that. A lot of hard work goes into all of this and it is encouraging to hear that all of the hard work is appreciated.

Each one of us has a part in trying to wake America up. Hopefully I am doing my little part.

      • mondobeyondo

        You are.

Now, if we can only get the other 305 million Americans to wake up… there may be a chance.

  • Makka

I have read your web site for some time, I felt compelled to post a comment:

It’s my fault for the coming colapse. Being born in 1966 to parents who were teachers, I grew up wrong. I didn’t pay attention in church and drank the “me now” coolaid. Marrying my wife saved me, and having children pulled me hard right.

Even then, I ignored politics except for the 2nd admendment. I only took the kids to church every now and again. I selfishly left the big city I grew up in to live in a small town in the heartland for my childrens sake. I work for a fortune 500 company that is going “left” and can’t (won’t) leave cause the money is too good. My selfishness has destroyed this country.

I should have been a better Christian, and held public officials to better morals and higher standards. When that failed, I should have ran myself for office, or given more of my time and support money to officials who had the proper respect for life and liberty.

I am approaching a time, were I can do this, but the hour I fear is to late. Had me, as a Christian done more, it could have been a better world. I cry for my children, and thank God he at least gave me the sense to get out of high population densities.

Funny, when I was 8ish I was scared that I would die in nuclear war with Russia, when I was 17ish, learning how to write pascal in highschool, i thought I would be able to visit the moon around the year 2000.

I apologize for my inactions (and misspellings). May God bless this Once Great Nation again. Makka

    • MelissaLynn

That was beautiful and inspired me.

    • Conkuur

I think a lot of us are in the same boat my friend. I feel the same as you exactly.

I tend to think this is what happens to a society that goes to long without troubles or tribulations as a whole. It is like a relationship the strongest ones are the tried and tested ones.

The 9/11 moment showed it was still there yet (feel even guilty for saying this) it didn’t personally touch enough people. It was easy for most to move on because it didn’t really affect them directly. (this next one certainly will)

When you don’t need to depend on anyone it is so easy to slip into the “Me for Me” way of thought. Most (like myself) only socialize with a select few and (up until a few weeks ago) I had no idea even who my neighbors were. I assumed like myself they preferred to be left alone. I was surprised to find they were more than happy to make my acquaintance as I was theirs.

Makka you have made the first step, you have found and admitted your mistake. The next step is change. How do you get from where you are to where you want to be? (That has also been my situation.) Do you know your neighbors? Do you have storage of dry goods, alternate power, protection? You have to start really where you live Makka. We know whats coming and its only to late if you give up.

You were sorry for your inaction well there is no better time then now for being proactive. Get out there meet the people around you form a block watch or group.Learn to get back to basics and survival skills. Someone may need you.

Thanks for your candid response it reminded me of my wake up call.

    • josh

now us young people will never experience the “good life”. i spend most my time preparing for what ever fed up scenarios i can play out in my head that i believe will become our near future. i wish more older people would have took some kind of action in the past 20 years instead of turning your heads and living in your own little fantasy land thinking that living in a debt ridden society would last. reality will come and it will be hard, tough, and for the rest of our lives.

  • When cash welfare stops. The cities, all of them will become violent to the extream. Hungry people will do anything to get food.

Cash welfare is paid out of workers taxes.
Food stamps are paid for by taxes.
Section 8 housing vouchers are paid out of taxes.
WIC is paid for out of taxes.

When these and many other giveaway programs are forced to be abandoned then real trouble will start.

Whole areas of the country around cities will be “No Go Zones”.

I left my home in Texas 10 years ago to study physics in Germany. I had been looking forward to coming home after finishing my doctorate next year, but now do not see how that will be possible. My family still seems mostly oblivious to the new country developing around them but from here the situation looks dire. As a physicist, I will have to live and work in a city – are there any safe cities left in the US? Are there any cities left in the US where I won’t be a minority?

Thanks for the great site, in any case!

    • Marcus Readiu

I got my PhD in the US, and had to flee to a foreign nation. America is collapsing more so now that money is being printed to purchase government debt. Academia in the US is in its last legs, at least in my field Mathematics. I try teaching in an elite private college for a while, but found myself teaching courses like differential equations to people who could not even add fractions and who were majoring in engineering and lacked reasoning skills… The chair explained to me that unless I gave students grades of C or above, the school would lose money because many of those students would transfer. So I had to alter my standards.

It was a farce. One day I said enough is enough and fled from the sinking ship.

  • Prophet

Civilization is breaking down, that is a fact. I don’t think that the root cause is “economic collapse” though. Although economic collapse will serve as a catalyst. A moral person will continue to be a moral person whether they are rich or poor. We have become a nation without principles.

The moral fabric of the nation has become ripped. People from all sorts of economic strata are losing their moral compasses as things implode. The Lord will not prosper this people if they continue to violate his commandments.

    • SpiritLight

YES, YES, YES! That IS the “WHY” our Country’s society is crashing and burning…NO MORAL COMPASS! The “Horned One” is in his glory by destroying people’s core values and replacing them with his sick, twisted desires…his presence has been getting stronger and stronger — look at what is happening to youth, the most vulnerable, because they still believe in “Hope”. People have forgotten to live by God’s rules and Commandments (which pretty much covers most everything that is throwing America into decline)and have entered into the “ME FIRST” syndrome! Economic downfall is happening because of the GREED of those who control with money and power. However, that is but one thorn on a rose stem. Without giving over your life to God and His path, you will never approach that glorious rose at the top! There will be many thorns to spear your side, but as long as you keep climbing beyond them, the Rose will be reached and a New World will open to you. Along the way, purchase food supplies, protection, make friends with neighbors, bring “Family” closer to you — create a barrier against the sickness of society’s core values. Until Society reaches the absolute bottom and starts to rebound on a more positive note, you will need all the items listed to get you through. Most importantly will be prayer, alone, and with others as worship. Know God is watching his children struggle and will “be there” if you ask…His promises are always kept, unlike those of mortal man OR presidents. Have Faith, BUT BE PROACTIVE “NOW”…next year will be too late!

I hate guns but for the first time a couple years ago I finally looked into buying a weapon for our home.

The media kept talking about how more people are buying guns because Obama got elected and gun afficionados were afraid of him outlawing their guns. Don’t buy it.

The media doesn’t want to admit that the increase in sales had more to do with people like me, who know Obama is just a figurehead and really don’t care one way or another about him. The media doesn’t want to admit that working Americans like me can see the writing on the wall and we know that the current system is heading for collapse. Most people don’t know how to work honestly for food and will be taking from those who do. You just need to look around and realize that sadly, a growing number of Americans have no marketable skills there is a large number of people who couldn’t even work at a fast food restaurant without scaring away customers. What are these people going to do when the dam really breaks?

    • JF

I highly recommend you purchase a fire arm for protection. If you do, and have no experience with a gun, you need to get training on the safe operation of a gun. It’s gonna get real bad out there soon, and your going to need to protect your family. Many people I know are buying guns and a decent supply of ammo, many people are waking up to whats happening to this country.

      • SpiritLight

I totally agree. DO IT NOW!! Hillary Clinton is trying to get the United Nations to pass a World Gun Control and the U.N. is doing it…NOW! Soon, it will be more difficult to purchase any gun legally (there’s always the Black Market) and will result in a paper trail leading from you to the U.S. Federal Govt. This is what happens when you have a person IN THE FED. GOVT. who is so far removed from what is actually happening in a Nation, decide what she “THINKS” (but has no clue) is best. God help us all. My BIG TIME QUESTIONS TO HER IS: So do you really think this is going to stop the criminals (you know, the “bad” guys) from having guns, halfwit? What makes you think the bad guys will tell you when they buy guns? Why are you trying to take America’s guns away from families who need them for protection from society’s rejects? And, Where is your highly “Delusional Thinking” coming from?
Husbands, fathers, brothers, or who ever has any knowledge about guns — teach your family members how to safely use one and the precautions that go along with guns. If you have no knowledge of guns, find a friend or family member who does. Learn how to handle one and teach your loved ones to do the same. I have always hated guns, but my spouse took me out to shoot and learn how to handle a gun. It was difficult at first because it was so foreign to me and what I believed, but if it ever came to defending a loved one, etc., you bet I would use it! To survive the next coming years, WE ALL NEED TO CHANGE THE WAY WE THINK! BE A SURVIVOR…DO IT NOW!

    • Abia The Cat

If you don’t know much about guns, buy a simple double-action six-shot .357 revolver. Get Packmeyer grips (rubber grips), they help the pistol remain in your hand when fired (especially short-barreled pistols). Nickle-plated doesn’t rust as bad as a blued pistol, too. You can also use .38 caliber ammo in a .357 pistol (except .38 Special ammo, so I’ve been told). Get jacketed hollow point rounds for maximum damage to the body. After getting good with firing that pistol, graduate up to a magnum automatic designed for short-range street combat. Having had bums try to mug me and several attempts to carjack my pickup truck, from my personal experience, you’ll be within ten to twenty feet of your attacker. A couple of magnum rounds to the gut will stop most attackers unless they are cranked up on some powerful meth-like drug. It’s unfortunate we are living in these times, but we have to be prepared and be alert. #1 Rule in my personal safety manual is DO NOT GO OUT AT NIGHT ALONE (male or female). Every carjacking attempt happened at night and in or near small, rural towns here in Mississippi when I was driving around alone and had stopped. And that was back in the 70s and 80s, too, when times were fairly good economically.

  • CitznKate

To quote Robert A. Heinlein: “An armed society is a polite society.” If people of evil intent were afraid they might get shot if they tried something, they might not be so bold in attacking others. It’s a shame when people have to be cowed into behaving themselves out of fear but we may have reached that point. I’d rather have respect, but if I can’t get respect, I’ll take fear.

    • mondobeyondo

An armed society is polite, as long as the people have morals. We don’t have morals anymore. Our armed society is now an extremely dangerous society.

      • It could be that everybody would be MORE polite if we all had guns… 😉

    • Vic

Japan is one of the most polite societies on earth. Even the police there are not armed.

      • SpiritLight

That is because the Japanese live their lives with “Dignity” and “Honor” and “Inner Peace”…something Americans know nothing about because they are “doers” not “peaceful coexistence” people. When people can learn to live in harmony with everything around them (this goes much deeper than what I am saying here), they have no need for violence because their world is of “acceptance of all things”. Learn about their innate Peace through their varied Spiritual teachings…it’s something Americans could use to reconstruct their own hurried, stressful, unsatisfying, demanding, uninspiring and egotistical lives. It’s all relative to a Godhead, a little different from Christianity, but many similar principles. They are also “doers” but approach it differently on a more Spiritual level. Check it out…

      • “Japan is one of the most polite societies on earth. Even the police there are not armed.”

Funny, it used to be England was the example given, I can’t recall any recent news pictures of a British patrolman without a carbine on a sling.

  • Michelle Black

People are so stressed by fear. Fear of the economy and the fear that they are fed every day by the Media. Leadership from Congress is absent as they jockey for lobbyists dollars and try to ensure their tenure at the public trough.

  • The signs have been here since WWII, greed and
a slow falling away from our Biblical morals and laws. It actually started soon after the pilgrims landed. President Wilson tried to put it on the front burner, that is globalism, and now the liberals are rolling on the floor laughing while the heart of America is asleep. As long as the liberals are alive and well, they will lead us striaght to hell. Obama is their instrument, the voters their pawns. Greed by a few like a rotten apple. The sickness is home in Wash DC and spreading out from there, corruption, racketering, and outright executive orders breaking the laws of the constitution. Decisions for Arabs freedom after breaking laws or terrorist activities.
This administration needs to be thrown out with the trash, impeach the man, if you got any sense.

Where are you from? What planet? Do you live in a crack in the wall, underground, in delusion? Where ever it is, do NOT think that what is going to happen will only happen to other people around you — YOU ARE 100% WRONG! WHAT PEOPLE SEND OUT TO OTHERS WILL COME SCREAMING BACK TO THEM 10 FOLD. I’d be wearing a mask now so those ugly comments don’t fly and hit you square in the face…100 times worse. Don’t you know that negative comments only bring more negativity BACK TO YOU? I THINK NOT. What our Society needs now is more positive comments on how to SURVIVE the next coming years — NOT TOTAL NEGATIVITY (already in the atmosphere), NAME CALLING, PUTTING PEOPLE DOWN…believe me we all know that GAME happening in town. When our Society finally hits bottom (and it will), you will need more than abrassive words to survive. You will need friends, family, or neighbors to help you, food, supplies, protection, some place SAFE to live, etc. If you have destroyed all the positive people around you, all that will be left is the negative ones that will only drag you down into their holes of despair. Don’t go there…it’s deadly quicksand. Try to be more positive…evil is “live” spelled backwards. Your choice — accept “evil” or “live”! Hope it’s the last one…

The end of all nations is under way due to immorality promoted by corrupt media, and unworkable/unwanted immigration, and the break up of families. Hold fast with what you have, and try and help in the restructuring of culture.

    • SpiritLight

Don’t forget to put “God” in the number one position in your life. That is the only way life will ever regenerate and be “successful” again. God has been pushed to the back burner and Society is self destructing. It’s so very easy to understand why. “With God all things are possible” — without Him, the Soul loses its way and dies…do you hear society’s death cries? I certainly do. Protect yourself and your loved ones…bring God close to help guide your lives. He’s waiting, just ask.

Thank the US media, The Networks, The Banksters, the Federal Reserve, and those who run your institutions of higher learning. Dont forget to thank those foreign lobbies that cow your politicians into handing your taxpayer’s money to foreign nations so that they can get good coverage in rags like the New York Times. I bet you dont even know who runs your publishing houses.

“Pawlenty stimulus plan for millionaires…Bush tax cuts on steroids” –This is your republican party. They are disgusting immoral scum.

    GOP=Grand Old Plutocracy.

This right wing cancer is destroying this country.

No, its liberal (democrat) jacks like yourself who are too lazy and ignorant. Quit blaming others for your incompetance.

You all never say that the “youth gangs” are BLACK! Go figure?

    • xander cross

You never say that the “youth gangs” are white and yes, there are plenty of white drug dealers and abusers, but of course, they don’t put that on tv or youtube. About about your criminal bankers, they white and they do even more danmage.

    • Abia The Cat

We don’t have to say these outlaws are black or Asian or Hispanic or Irish. The racial makeup of the gang will depend on the demographics of the city. Does it really matter the color of the hand that holds the weapon trying to hurt you or kill you or rape you? Having had a white man try to rape me and a black man try to carjack my ride, do you think I care what racial makeup the punk is? If anything, it’s a male that I get wary of though I know there are female outlaws, too.

OLD SOUTHERN JOKE: A white man’s dog hates the black man, but the black man’s dog hates everybody.

      • Xander cross

I agree with you on that one. But when something goes on it’s the media that potrays black people as violent when Asian people are violent as well. Watched an episode of gangland where Asian gangs killing people in Chinatown and new York. I recommend watching it sometime.

  • mondobeyondo

This article from “The Trumpet” really opened my eyes – I had not heard about this story before:

Fact of the matter is, many people care more about their dogs and cats, than about their fellow human beings. Sad.

  • mondobeyondo

Ummm… America is a rather unique experiment in world history.

In much of the world, the population tends to be homogenous — of one ethnic origin or religuous belief. In those countries, there are very few black Swedes, or Nigerians of Japanese ancestry.

Not so here… The U.S. was supposed to be a land of opportunity, where anyone of any race or religion or ethnic background, if they tried hard enough, could fulfill their dream (The American Dream) and make a success of your life. America blended all these beliefs and origins into a giant “melting pot”, and it succeeded, for the most part.

Now it looks as if it about to fall apart.
Racism is rearing its ugly head yet again, compounded by financial difficulties and hardship (a common denominator in the road to ruin.)

Remember the 1930’s?? “Jews are rich, everyone else is poor because the Jews are rich”? *

)Totally incorrect, but extremely effective among the desperate masses) Adolf Hitler twisted that, and used it to the extreme.

First, learn more about each other.
Then, try to help each other, in spite of our individual differences and beliefs.
We are all in this Mess together.

*If you truly believe that, go to Anne Frank’s grave and say those words. I dare you to do so.

    • PJ London

Why drag this (It’s the Jews) into the discussion?
It is one thing to read Fairy Tales (The Diary of….) but very childish to believe them.
The background to the 1930s Racism in Germany was a reaction to the original pamphlet “Practical Idealism” (Praktischer Idealismus) Count Richard N. Coudenhove Kalergi, Vienna 1925.
From your comments, you seem to be a product of the current education system. If you cannot be bothered to study history, and insist on regurgitating the pablum fed to you, then how can you help the others.
Not all beliefs are equally valid. To pull some one up, you need a solid footing, otherwise you just get pulled down to their level.
I cannot recall the reference or source, but a renowned source suggests that West African Model, is the future of society, i.e. armed gangs, “tribes” will carve out small domains and fight for territories. This model has served mankind for most of its’ history and will probably dominate as the industrial capacity declines. Welcome to “Mad Max, the reality”.
Your best option is to look for a “frontier” society, to paraphrase Robert Heinlein, “the smartest are always the first to emigrate” Marcus Readiu (PhD) has shown this to be true, it is unlikely that USA can be saved.
Plan your exit, and remember that the last helicopter will likely be overcrowded.
PS I am leaving UK for much the same reasons that exist in USA.

      • mondobeyondo

When times get tough, people always look for a scapegoat to blame, no matter how innocent they may be. Any religious or racial group who are perceived as being wealthy makes a convenient target for hate.

Fascinating how the ones who are TRULY wealthy (the banksters and Wall Street) seem to be immune. Not many people are screaming “Off with their heads!” at the folks at Chase, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup, etc…

And yes, I am a product of the American educational system. That explains it, huh?

    • xander cross

You know the anne franks story never happen right? It was a lie. Just like saddam killing babies out of their incubators. Once again, people fall for the lie for war. I believe we called it a false flag attack, like the gulf of token.

      • mondobeyondo

I beg to differ. Anne Frank actually was a real person, who wrote a diary while hiding from the Nazis. Her diary and photos are on display at her family’s former hiding place in Amsterdam.

  • Klom

Hailing from AustrAAlia mAAte. It’s sad to hear that you guys are having so many problems. Ominously though, I would never have guessed how bad things were from tv or radio “news” coverage. Forget the politicians. They can’t do anything now. Ask yourselves, who is “in charge” on the ground? Is it the police/military? The news stories make them out to be complete monsters – maybe that’s part of the plan? In reality I bet they’re mostly good family men, somebody’s sons or brothers, but they have been indoctrinated with constant lies and training. You need to get them onside. There’s no use waiting for someone to miraculously become an inspiring leader, to win the election and to fix decades of dodgy legislation – it ain’t gonna happen.

    • Milla

Klom, it appears you are misguided about the police when it comes to protecting the citizens. When the proverbial poop hits the fan here is the order of people the police will protect:
      1. themselves and their families
      2. the other policemen serving with them
      3. their job (the police department/government interest)
      4. the average citizen
Klom, as you can see, you and I are nowhere near the top of the list.

this and much more awaits America! Thanks to the world trade organization, and free trade. Many of you dont know who the first president to propose so called free trade was? It was ronald reagan. Free trade with china was first implemented with china under bush sr, then newt and the republicans that controlled house and senate pushed nafta on clinton, and he went along. Big money deregulated the banks and big oil. Next bush jr normalized free trade with china, as he cut taxes and started 2 unfunded wars. Where did they think America would go with no jobs and with huge debts by unfunded wars? This was because of lobbyists and campaign donations. Our politicians work for corporations, not for the good of the people. Until we get rid of lobbyists and corporate or large campaign donations our govt will not work for the American people, which is the fundamental problem hat caused the other problems, but no politicians are able to break the hold big money has over our politicians. Until we are “of and for the people” again America is doomed!

  • Jalibb

Change the import tax to 20% and voila, jobs come back from China. Eliminate tax loopholes for corporations re:overseas banks and raise tax rates back to pre-chimp (bush II) days. Renegotiate prescription drug bill and end the wars for the Lukid party in Israel (Iraq and afganistan). Reduce defense spending to 1990 levels.

Do this and problems solved. Yes it is that simple.

But it won’t happen. We don’t own America, money does. So take care my friends and get prepared as best as you can.

  • JR

We are living in Orwells nightmare dystopia. We are nothing but a military police state run by the big corporations. Just listen to the Republican plans! Both parties vote for more wars. This is the plan. Wake up people and quit voting for these people. Ron Paul isn’t perfect but he’s the best chance we have to get our freedom back!

  • LouAnde

The signs you mentioned in your report are the symptoms. The real problem lies in the fact that due to increasing affluence, our people slowly but surely said in their hearts to God, “I don’t need you. My security is in my wealth.”
And our government eventually ruled with the people in 1963 when the Supreme Court basically kicked God out of our schools. Instead of our children being taught the Godly principles espoused by our founding fathers and evident in our founding documents, they began to be taught and still being taught Satanic things–second graders taught how to use condoms by placing them on bananas, OK to have abortions, OK to have free lunches at school even if your parents can afford to pay for them, don’t listen to your parents, they are too old fashioned. We are now teaching the 3rd generation since the “geniuses” at the Supreme Court decided God had no place in the lives of our children. Why are we surprised with the end result!

There is a way out, but the likelihood of that happening is almost nil (II Chronicles 7:14). It is said that 70% of Americans are Christians. If so, how is it that we are split about 50/50 on evil and good? It was said, “Not everyone who says to Me ‘Lord, Lord’ will enter the Kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my father in heaven.”

We have hardened our hearts against God. Things will get worse as time goes by! I for one have resolved to live according to the commands of God.

  • OnAnIsland

This was a big part of my decision 3 years ago to move to a remote a place as possible- a Pacific Island. It may not be all roses when the SHTF, but I think it will be better than a population center (big mainland city).

I’m right and you’re all wrong. Trust me and listen to me! I know better than everyone else that is posting on the internet.

    – It’s sinner’s fault that we’re in this mess!

    no, wait…

    – It’s violent and hate-supporting fanatical Bible-thumpers that are causing all this!

    no, just a sec…

    – It’s Democrats!

    – It’s the Republicans!

well, it’s not just the political parties…

    – It’s all the Politicians!

    Uh, actually…

    – It’s the rich!

    um, and…

    – It’s the mainstream media that’s destroying/ed the US!

    – It’s the bankster/people that control the media and the government!

    – It’s those horribly violent “flash gangs!” (Catchy huh?)

    honestly, we all know…

    – It’s the minorities!

    – It’s the immigrants!

    – It’s the people who hate the second amendment!

    – It’s socialism/Marxism/communism/fascism/fanaticism/ism-isms!

    – It’s the uneducated poor!

    – It’s welfare recipients!

    – It’s the naivete of the young!

    – It’s the complacent self-absorbed elderly!

    It doesn’t really matter ’cause:

    – God’s coming from the sky (finally!)

    – History is repeating another Dark Age! (George Santayana knew all along!)

    – It’s people who don’t have direct blood relatives from those ancestral criminal scum and fanatical murderers (ty Malleus Maleficarum) that got kicked out of every decent feudalistic European country and banished onto an already occupied nation who committed genocide and chattel slavery in the Americas (in God’s name of course!)

    Oh yea, it’s also,

    – The UN/IMF/World Bank/WTO/Trilateral Commission/Bilderbergs/etc., etc., etc.!

Because we’re God’s people (d@#*-it) and the greatest nation on Earth!!! Ever! We’re not actually responsible for killing millions of people in small indefensible nations all over the planet, promoting puppet dictators, to get “our” resources out of “their” land/water/air for almost nothing!

Actually it’s the fault of our children because we sent them to kill them (in God’s name) for our Great U.S.A.(TM). Well, it’s not their fault- they’re PATRIOTS, not “butchers” and God wants them to go kill and rape any peoples who don’t accept or understand our version of the Bible and Jayzus! Besides, these were “police actions.” We were there to HELP! (Unless they didn’t have anything that we wanted. Then, of course, we let them be slaughtered and tortured to their heart’s content.)

    But we ALL know that:

    Actually, it’s the gays!

The abortionists! (Because what a woman does with her own body and a small group of cells IS OUR BUSINESS!!!)

But it is DEFINITELY NOOOOOOOTT my pastor because God speaks to him directly and he knows what God wants! (He speaks loudly in the front of the room and knows when we sin and what those sins are- even when I can’t find them directly in the Bible! Jesus tells him! ‘Cause he can read that book (that Roman Emperor Constantine and his mother, funded, organized and supported, just in the nick of time, to save a Roman world in Chaos!)

And it’s the self-absorbed elitists who use religion for business gain and marketing profits to the congregation! And to keep us all at peace instead of blaming each other about the collapse of our nation- and not them!

Actually, I’ll be honest with you. (If you read this far I can, at least, do that.) 😉

It’s YOU! It’s your fault. You’re either reading this article and it’s comments and scurrying away into the shadows- doing nothing, or, you’re writing a bunch of ignorant, unsupportable, one-sided blame-game rants on this comment thread (much like this one right here) and you really don’t care about anyone as long as someone listens to you and your great wisdom all cloistered up in your house, with whiskey & gunpowder and food for several years.

Cause, of course, YOU are not going to be a statistic! Not YOU!

One thing I AM sure of it’s not the fault of any boys and girls under the age of two. These innocents haven’t had enough time to learn YOUR gender rules of hatred, hypocritical class bias and paralyzing terror about the crumbling status quo, self-righteous religious dogmatism, or to hate and threaten with violence anything that you don’t understand.

The U.S. isn’t a great experiment- it’s a tragedy and a failure. You won against everyone else playing “King of the Hill” over the last century and then you simply got complacent, fell asleep and rolled down the side of the mound of dirt to your doom.

“The price of freedom is ETERNAL vigilence”- T. Jefferson.

Be honest all you care about is cowardly yourself. You’re a scared little monkey and that hasn’t changed for millions of years. Your tools are a bit fancier but you still can’t accept anything but territory and violent fear. So go make all the noise you want on these boards. I’m sure it will fix everything. lol

You lose… (the world isn’t sad for your passing.) And remember that smirk on Dubya’s face? (The same one you see on Obama’s and Cheney’s and Rumsfeld’s and Hillary’s faces?) That smirk is asking an important question so listen up…

“I took everything from you- what are you gonna do about?”

As far as I’ve noticed you don’t do $#!#- except whine and moan and prattle while the entire world waits for you to stand up like they had to in their nations.

Good luck with your demanding & cowering,
    The Village Idiot
P.S.: Over a decade ago I was a professor in Boston and after listening to my students unquenchable fear about Y2K and then their “confusion” about 9/11 I figured it was time to leave. The T.V. is more powerful than schools and books and calm discussion. The American population could feel this coming though. (Academics wrote books and treatises on the problems. People in their given field/career with decades of “real world experience” have been warning about this for a century. But none of you wanted to do anything about it except get rage-filled and start blaming everyone else. But it definitely wasn’t the fault the U.S. No, definitely not. Definitely…
So I left. (You would probably refer to me as a traitor or a coward too for abandoning the “greatest show on Earth.”) Now I’m laughing best… and you know what that means.
    Don’t you? 😉

P.P.S.: Rail and whine all you want. I said what I felt I should. “My work here is done”. (Who could actually take themselves seriously after saying something like that. LOL)

  • What I find most infuriating is how there is so massive an emphasis on faith and God.
Now, regardless of my personal views on religion, (yes, I am an atheist, but I insist on being a moral, conscientious person,)what seems to be one of the issues here, is that so many people seem to be under the impression that things would be better if only they were better Christians.
God, or lack thereof, is not the issue here. People are the issue. Rome was a great Christian nation by the time it fell, as was the British Empire, and they both began to fall apart because of their own decadent, apathetic stupidity.
    God did not help them.
Too many people are having faith that God will solve your problems, and this is incorrect. Surely, any God worth their salt will be more proud of men and women who solve their own problems?

    • George

Religion is divisive. There have always been religious wars and there will continue to be religious wars. We are in fact experiencing them now (Islam vs Christianity). Problem is, now nukes are likely to become involved! WYSAKYPD!

  • Frank

This is what America is coming to as our economy & morals collapse. Expect more of the same & worse. The Godless, liberal Power Elite who run our monetary system, “buy” our corrupt politicians, control our institutions of education & mass media & who have foisted upon us “crony capitalism” are controlling the dumbed-down masses to create the chaos & poverty needed to usher in a New World Order & One World Currency. With Biblical Principles gone, our nation is dead already.

Return to Constitutionally limited Federal Government, balance the budget (this will require $1 in every $3 dollars cut from the budget), end the Federal Reserve & bogus currency, return to a dual gold/silver standard (ratio of 1:16 as it was prior to the Civil War) (do not return to a simple gold standard as central bankers can corner the Market in gold alone), end Income Taxes & the IRS, go to a simple form of a reasonable Fair Tax (everyone has “skin in the game” & no “free lunches”), end crony capitalism, term limits for politicians and (most importantly) return to the Biblical Principles this nation was once founded upon.

    But that won’t happen 🙁

We will go bankrupt first (either literally via default or effectively via massive devaluation of the US Dollar). Then our nation will hit the “reset button” & who knows what will then happen.

  • Bob Waters

Did someone say “third world savages?”

Well, I live in the so-called third world and we have in no such problems here. In fact, the economy is growing at 9%, unemployment is close to zero and everyone is very confident and positive about the future.

So, please don’t call us savages when actually its you who still remain completely ignorant and utterly clueless about the world.

  • A well-written and well-documented article. I pine for the America of our past and fear for the Amerika we have now. Our economy, society, and culture is about to take a swan-dive into the abyss. God knows when an where it will end. Let’s hope it’s not like the movie “The Road”. Below is a trailer of the movie

  • Charlie

We as individuals are part of the problem. If we just enjoy the abundance this great nation has to offer and give noting back to enrich each other – – nothing good will come. It’s much like sucking all the air out of a ballon. The exchange has to happen for there to be balance. Without balance this society will implode and the initial signs are just the tip of the iceberg. I am not stating anything that most people don’t already know and feel deep in their gut. Standing on the sidelines, wringing our hands and writing comments on the internet will not solve the problem….. This country was founded on small groups coming together and helping each other and growing in size as the years went on. We need to follow that example, by coming together as a neighborhood and helping each other by caring & sharing. Violence is not the solution – – however “kindness” does not denote “weakness”. Each of has inside us the desire for self preservation. If we help each other in our local communities we will bond together, support and protect each other. Perhaps this sounds utopian, but the rest of the world shows us that fighting does not solve anything. Look into your heart and remember the “Golden Rule”. May peace & happiness remain with each of you.

  • Phil Hoff

The Bible teaches that what we are seeing is a revelation of the true nature of man. For instance, the prophet Jeremiah said “The heart of man is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked…”. Becoming a Christian does not take away this old nature, but adds a new nature with which to combat our old one. It also teaches us that we are going to give an account to God.
In the final analysis the only thing that prevents criminal behavior is fear of retribution – from human government and/or from God. America’s rejection of God has been accelerating for the past 50 years, leaving us with a Christianity that is weak and powerless. Sadly, many churches have been complicit in this betrayal. With God having been relegated to irrelevance or incompetence, it is no wonder that fear of retribution from Him is no longer a restraining factor on evil in society.
The U.S. Government not only fails to act as a restraining factor by often taking the side of criminals against victims, but all three branches violate the Constitutional rights of Americans every day.
The claim that poverty leads to societal disintegration will not wash, because there are many nations far more impoverished than ours that have nothing like “mob robbing”. This sort of thing comes from the “entitlement mentality”. “I’m entitled to have a TV or an iPod or a tablet computer.” And this mindset never manifests unless government has set the precedent of taking from the “rich” and giving it to the “poor” (meanwhile amply greasing the gears of government with a significant part of their ill-gotten plunder).

if you want to know what the hell is going on Listen to Alan Watt & Alex Jones. Lock & load!

Sad to see what’s happening in the USSA. Ayn Rand said it all 50+ years ago. Unfortunately, when the final Economic Collapse happens, it will be much worse than now. Hopefully, these mobs will wipe out some of the politicians that have caused this mess. At least the rich lobbyists who have corrupted the country beyond redemption will have to stay behind walls, or face death on the streets.
Ominously, what happens in America usually happens elsewhere not long afterwards. Ironically, we in Australia, being largely unarmed, won’t see the mob carnage that the US is doomed to endure, but we will probably have to put up with a Soviet-style rationing system of everything from food to health services, and anything else you can think of.
Democracy appears to be a good idea, but once people get the notion that they can vote themselves largesse from the public trough, the writing is on the wall. We’re all going to have to learn the hard way that welfare isn’t a right: if you try to hold a gun to the heads of the rich, they’re going to turn you over, because ultimately they’re smarter (how do you think they got the money in the first place)? Accept responsibility for your own life (it’s what you’re going to have to do soon anyway).

  • Mary T

The unspoken problem that no one has mentioned is our educational system. Historically, children are taught by adults in an environment with adults and mixed age groups. The children learn from others with more experience. Then look at our public schools. with one teacher to many students and no education about moral behavior, the children get most of their education from each other. We are leaving our children to get educated and experienced by the particular “gang” of peers they associate with. With no essentially no adult input, it is not surprising they grow up to be hoodlums.

Why “won’t we like what we see?”

WHO are YOU to say what the American people will turn out to be?

In case you haven’t noticed, THE People and the Feds, are two different things.

  • Renegade

What to do what to do . Think this is going to turn-around ? Think we will resume values and scruples and respect ? Think a government who rewards corruption will grow a conscience ? Think decades of media violence and bravado for war meant nothing on the pysches of humans ? That’s right . People stopped thinking. More specifically critical thinking.
America was always a pretend institution.
Money helped it limp along with the facade.

Do this do that, we are a little late. Our situation won’t get any better. Immagration should have been shut down in the early thirties.Term limits might have helped us some.
Polititians should never had more than two terms of two years. The longer they are in office the worse they get. The whole government
is sick. Will we have gangs and thugs that want to break in your house?? You bet-I just bought 3 more guns and ammo. Do I strap on my 38 to go to Wal-Mart, yes indeed I do. We can do that where I live. It’s a common thing. Is there any break ins here or robbery?? No, even the illegals know what the consequence will be. Oh, is too bad?? It works. Obummass wants my guns, will he get them?? Not a chance…….

I’ve visited this site several times and always find it eye opening,at the very least. The world as we have known it is definitely changing as we look on. Yet, the world has been firmly in the grip of change for at least the last hald millenium or more. In that time period entire peoples, languages and cultures have disappeared. In America we have enjoyed an almost unheard of prosperity for the last sixty years or more. That, clearly,is ending now. And neither hand wringing, nor wailing, nor guns will change it. Only we can change it. By we I mean when enough people who care about the quality of life and are clear sighted enough to pay attention to what’s going on all around us and see for themselves decide to collectively band together and work to help bring about the type world where we can live as free and aware human beings, then things will change. But as long as we fualt this group or that group, seeing “the other” as less than we are and the problem, things will neither change nor get better. The problem is not economic nor political, nor even religious,it is us,each of us. We have allowed this state of affairs to come about through our own inaction, our on lack of concern, and our own abdication of thought and reason, giving it to others who are supposed to know better. I am not fond of democray, since it is at bottom, mob rule. But we were givng a republic here, and have reached this sorry state because as citizens we have not upheld our part of the republic–to stand guard, be ever vigilant, and informed, so that we not only make the best decisions for oursleves but make absolutely certain that those we elect are forever held accountable for what they do or fail to do. When things were great we for the most part kept silent when we knew and saw things occuring which we knew were not right. And now we face the consequencies of our own inaction.

  • WOW – not nice to read first!! Peace here in my part of TN. Still feel something in turmoil deep inside as though something unknown is about to pop.New grandson – what will his future be?? I am old and have had a decent life and look forward to going to Heaven to be with Jesus. If you knew the Bible you would know that this world is corrupted by sin and without hope. The younger generation grown up with the idea that their life is to be filled with money, entertainment and fun is going to be rudely awakened.
I am looking for a quick way out as I know my heart is right with Jesus. Years ago we were warned if the Bible was taken out of our schools, guns and gangs would move in. This is a moral universe run by a moral God who loves us and died on a cross to prove it.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believed in Him(Jesus) would NOT perish, but has eternal LIFE!!! The REALLY bad news is that this life is a preparation for the next and if you aren’t in Christ, the next will be even worse and forever. Hell is real and so is Heaven. Every idle word will be judged and you can be saved through Christ alone. WAKEUP!! Virginia

Enough about God, aka Santa Claus et al. Fanaticism is the problem, the belief of superiority over another in the end diminishes their worth and thus makes it easier to do away with them. I’ve found religious people and the most cruel. Passon on the culture of western civilization but leave paganism at the door to the past anong with your medieval cruelty.

Get a grip and hold on to something when I tell you this. We are alone, there is no god, and our consciousness in the universe is an aberration. Why you believe is a direct result of your inability to deal with your own mortality, your death. Let it all go and be content with your molecules someday returning to the insides of a sun. Enjoy the garden we have, it’s beautiful enough that we don’t need to create fairies.

  • Anisha

People lets get a grip! Yes, these are concerns but this ought to be balanced out by all the truly brilliant and wonderfully positive things taking place that you are NOT hearing and reading about.

There are several psychological lynch pins that this world wide de facto ‘government'(means ‘mind control btw)has managed FOR CENTURIES to keep and control 6 billion individuals on this planet:

    1) you must ‘feel’ there are shortages of everything like money, food, water, shelter.

    2) you must ‘feel’ that you have NO RIGHTS therefore submit and comply to their ‘public policies called ‘statutes’ and Unified Commercial Code. These are NOT law!

    3) you must ‘feel’ that you have nothing to protect yourself or family from danger and infringement

    4) you must ‘feel’ there are no Divine laws keeping this entire universe together, no loving intelligent force that is animating you from within

    5) you must ‘believe’ that it is a dog eat dog world and you must vie for ‘favors’ and even ‘sell’ your soul and even commit atrocities to satisfy selfish needs without taking into consideration of anyone else.

    6) you must ‘feel’ that this entire world is doomed.

    7) you must ‘believe’ everything that their controlled ‘news media’ are feeding you. Of course it is all negative and fearful stuff. Which is NOT the whole truth.

These points and probably others are the basis on which this dark force operating through de facto governments KEEP YOU FROM taking right action that is lawful, peaceful, non-violent.

This dark force emanates from the Vatican, their financiers in London, England (The Crown) and their military establishment (District of Columbia thru Crown Corporation ‘United States’).

This has been going on full force since the Civil War 1861.

That was when our ‘de jure’ Republic under the original Constitution, was left ‘abandoned’ by the people and the Crown’s agents – BAR attorneys – took over the nation b/c the 70 year loan came due since the Treaty of Paris of 1793. Exactly 70 years later 1863 they started by revamping their entire Crown commercial venture abolishing their limited profits from ‘African chattel slavery’ (corporate de facto 13th amendment) TO something much much more profitable and powerful for them: ‘Industrial Slavery’ which included EVERYBODY (corporate de facto 14th amendment).

I would like you all to take a breath and take full responsibility as ‘individual’ Americans.

There IS hope and there IS a final solution not just for America but for this entire world.

It must start with us Americans b/c we are the ones as a federated Republic in our possession the Declaration of Independence c.1776. No other nation currently has adopted the exact wording and meaning…yet. But 82 countries out there cannot wait to sign compacts with our de jure Republic provided our interim president gets to the Netherlands safely and is welcomed to make the presentation.

People pay attention!!! Our de jure (lawful/original) Republic HAS BEEN LAWFULLY RE-INHABITED a year ago as of March 30th, 2010. All 50 Republic free states are on board and provisional govt has been organized beginning with de jure Grand Juries and the rest is history. We have assurances of funding and military support once world court recognition takes place. All documentation of each individual who has committed themselves toward the de jure Republic will be presented for official diplomatic recognition. This is currently underway.

    Now its YOUR turn.

What are you going to do about it? A solution has become manifested all voluntarily by the efforts of a small population of loving and caring Americans.

The de jure Republic for the united States of America is OUTSIDE the jurisdiction of this de facto (legal but not lawful) impostor. We in Republic for uSA are NOT 14th amendment citizens!

    YOU have a choice.

Do you believe you are powerless? Will you choose to remain fearful via gross manipulation of basic needs by the Crown Corporation called ‘United States’?

Or, will you choose to be brave, strong in faith, and come forward with a pure heart and goodwill for all knowing full well that your unalienable, sovereign rights are derived from your Creator, NOT puny privileges doled out by a very tiny handful of bullies of this world provided you comply, waive your rights, and even force yourself to do their bidding?

Their spirits are guided by darkness and very greedy for power over others. They ‘appear’ to control their systems to which you were unknowingly ‘contracted’ to via: birth certificate applications, drivers licenses, marriage licenses, acceptance of any govt benefit that you SIGNED FOR (which in fact nullifies the contract because there was never ANY disclosure or consideration or any real lawful authority for them to do so?

I encourage all those reading this to make the time to study the website below and when the light bulb ‘goes off’ and you are moved to ‘do something’ truly meaningful with your own talents and limited resources like we did, then please get busy and make contact with those in your free state Republics.

Get busy, attend meetings and find out what is needed and if your talents can match it. BAR attorneys are not able to take positions within our Republic. They must show verifiable proof that they have resigned from the BAR when they sign their documents bringing them into Republic jurisdiction.

    – All of you are brainwashed by your Hillbilly Pastors who are Nothing but Agents of Wall St AND THE ILLUMINATI- Not God. The whole talk about personal responsiblity and “Entitlement Mentality” is hogwash. CAPITALISM LIKE COMMUNISM IS AGAINST GOD, GET OVER IT!!! ALL MAN’S ECONOMIC SYSTEMS ARE AGAINST GOD.

I know most of you in here are White. You can touch my Black Man hand, and we can pray together. America’s true purpose is to be the “New Multirracial Holyland Under God” you know.

“For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?” (Mark 8:36) It doesn’t matter what color a man’s skin is, what really matter is what proceeds out of his heart: “A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.” (Luke 6:44-46).

  • i carry a .45….try this with me and i will kill you

    • Sam

I carry a Glock 19 with a “police” load, that is, alternating 3 rounds of FMJ and 3 rounds of JHP, 17 rounds total. A .45 only carries 8 rounds (I have a Colt Gold Cup); a Glock 19 uses the same magazines as a Glock 17, and thus I carry 17 rounds in my piece, with another 17-round mag as a spare.

Nice choice there, at least you’ve got better safeties than I’ve got, and can carry yours cocked!

  • Silencer

I have one piece of advice for anyone who doesn’t want to become a victim. “LOCK AND LOAD”

    • Freedom First

Actually, the correct term is load and lock with today’s weapons, although the thought is apperciated.

  • Teknikid

Hopefully the whole country doesn’t turn into bedlam, but we’ll see. I doubt the girl who shot her dad with the hunting bow was ever spanked. She was probably allowed to walk all over her parents. Part of the problems we see now was we had people screaming “Don’t hit a child!” Look, I was whooped as a kid, and most of the time I deserved it. I didn’t turn out violent. I was never part of a gang, and I respect authority. I have no debts, and live fairly comfortably. Being spanked caused me to listen when told to, it did not turn me into a violent savage.

It’s not too late to use spanking when needed. I’m really amazed at what I’ve seen kids get away with in some cases. Simple sassy backtalk means the kid is already getting away with too much. Not a good sign.

    • Catman

I’m with you teknikid….My dad wupped my butt when it was needed. Did I turn out to be an assaultive type? No! I turned out to be a 30 year veteran of Law Enforcement. I worked in several areas of Law Enforcement and retired as a Federal Officer.
If any of you PUNKS out there want a piece of me, just step right up. You will either go to jail or the morgue. Your choice and I really don’t give a gnats ass which one you choose!

  • lucid1

My dad lives in East Atlanta, shootings there every other day and no news coverage. Cops will pull you over for not wearing a seatbelt. But wont go near any one that looks hispanic or gang affiliated unless you look like a skin head.

  • Anup Nathani

I am not an American and have never been to America but by what I have read in the article and posts I think what has been written in the article is certainly true to a large extent. I do not think economic downturn is the sole reason for the economic breakdown. I am from India and villages in India is very poor, still. But still there is peace by and large.

I think what the culture out there has to be changed. The way new generation is brought up, trained, taught etc. You can find people from other countries like India, China etc coming to America and prospering while others suffer. Has anybody tried to find out why this is happening? Once you understand this you will get the answer for the existing problems.

Lastly, I think the world has to learn from the rich spiritual knowledge from India. Ofcourse, Indians have a lot to learn from America and others but one thing which is keeping us going over centuries is the rich spiritual knowledge and teachings. Throughout history there have been leaders who have renounced the worldly things leading a life of an ordinary saint with no money etc. and have showed India the way to a good social life. And I think the world has also starting learning the spiritual knowledge from Indian saints currently.

I am a firm believer that whatever bad happens happens for the good. Right now, America is facing a social breakdown (and after that it will see a social restructuring for good). India is facing days of corruption and uneven distribution of wealth. After this menace is dealt with firmly and with a lot of restructuring prosperity will return.

But what we Indians never forget is the spiritual knowledge imparted to the society by our forefathers which keeps us going!

    • Gupta the tard

Huh? You are not even from here, yet you comment?
Stay where you are and don’t bother coming here. You are better of there anyway, and there are too many of you here already.

    • Jonny

There is a lot of wisdom in what you say Anup.

The destruction of our cultural heritage and our common religious principles is a key factor.

But it hasn’t been done by accident. And that’s what makes us different from India. If you were seeing the sort of wholesale destruction of your traditions and religious culture in India that we Americans are seeing here… I don’t think it would happen, but if it did, you would be very alarmed. And suspicious about the motives behind it.

      America has been hijacked.

    • Karen Bracken

Anup…your comments are brilliant and 100% accurate. Communism has infiltrated every aspect of American life in order to destroy our once great country. And the election of Barack Obama has not helped the situation. He is also trying to destroy our country and the hoodlums think he is on their side and they are becoming arrogant. WE THE PEOPLE of the US MUST return to moral values and faith or we are doomed.

    • Randy Camper

Unfortunately, people coming to the United States today are afforded all kinds of opportunities that are difficult if not impossible for middle-class Americans to get; Small Business Loans w/little or no collateral, medical benefits, even Social Security (when they have never paid in).
We have always welcomed immigrants to this country and most Americans will still welcome those who come here legally. But, as with so many other aspects of our nation, our immigration system is hopelessly broken and we are overwhelmed by those who come illegally and those who only want to sponge off the “system.”
While most Americans understand that we have been betrayed by our government, they just feel helpless to effect change.
Perhaps its time to start over!

  • Dominic

Collapse of Society began before 911 happened. But 911 is/was the literal collapse taking hold. American’s can’t agree, all they do is argue. There is nothing to value there. Politicans are not held accountable, for their lies and crimes. They only believe in guns military and violence. I saw this long ago, and left the USA. Now it’s 10 years. Glad I moved out. Sorry Bush ruined our lives. But if you want to fight back. This might help get them off your back.

  • Jerry Parker

In part, the mindlessly violent and thievish response of the poor of the Banana Republic of America (oh, I like that moniker! I call it the UniTIGHTASStates of AmeriKKKakapeepee) is the result of so many decades of poor education. I am old enough, thank the Lord, to have gotten my education (including university level, at the University of Massachusetts and at Kent State University) on the cusp of the post-W.W. II years when education was peaking in quality before the long descent into dumbed-down mediocrity and conformism to follow.

Even those who did remain calm enough to be indoctrinated in the classrooms were taught to be unquestioning, docile, and to accept, uncontested, every bit of the bunk that their teachers and professors delivered (whether rightist or leftist in nature), who did not inculcate thinking and research skills into their captives.

This kind of pandered down education has prepared nobody to cope with life, least of all in the new and economically downgraded, unemployment-bedevilled U. S. of A.

I just received a email from Brazil from a friend of mine with at least 20 other people’s addresses with your articles in it. I am not an american but I live here for more the forty two years. It made me sad. The exaggeration of this article, the image that you are projecting is horrible.
There are problems in this country and we all know. I can list a few of those but your purpose is so much more that just discuss the problems. It is just to terrorize and the result is that this article is going beyond this country to give a wrong idea of what really is going on.

    • Michael

It is amazing the people that we can touch from our living rooms these days, eh?

In fact, people who regularly leave comments on this site end up touching the lives of thousands upon thousands of people with their ideas and they probably don’t even realize they are having that kind of an impact.

    • That Mouthy Lady

Sorry, but it is you who are dead wrong. This stuff IS happening. It’s in the news, it’s all over the internet in videos. We see it in our own neighborhoods. America is crumbling.

Food shortages are expected, soon, & we are no longer free–the country has gone Socialist. Like all Socialistic countries, it is doomed…

UNLESS we have a second revolution. That will most likely be needed, as the voter fraud is now =ferocious.=

We who have prudent natures are prepared. The rest? Well, sadly, many of them will die. That’s just inevitable if we can’t turn this nation around, restore our Constitution, & start relying on ourselves, under GOD.

      HE…is our sole hope.

    • Karen Bracken

If you truly believe this article is exaggerating then you are not awake. It is even worse than this articles states and I hope you take off the blinders and see what is happening before it is too late.

It’s scary, we moved from a large metropolitan area to a small town in mid-Iowa, population 24,000. I worked for an elementary school in this small town. You wouldn’t believe the incidents of violence in that age of children(Kindergarten – 4th Grade). For example, one KINDERGARTENER – 5 years old – had to be suspended for bringing a knife on the bus and slashing the seats!!! Who would have ever thought there would be things like this happening in a small town in Iowa!!!

    • Hank, MO

Crap, what are you talking about, Jan? I grew up in rural Missouri in the 50’s and 60’s, and the buses all had slashed seats even back then. This article takes a few incidents and blows them up to play on people’s fears. Kids act out every now and then– sometimes it goes beyond just being mischief, but let’s not go psycho over a few nutty kids. Most young people are just like we were at that age; they want to find a mate, have a family, get a job and make a living for themselves. Unfortunately, it’s the nutty ones that make the news columns; the others make the bus so they can get to work.

  • ray

They are paying the price for messing with people they do not understand, like me. They treat us like trash and try to drag us down to their level. Book of Jude, (bible). “They speak evil of what they do not understand, and what they do understand, like brute beasts. Their damnation is just.”
As the parents that damned me into this earth (hell?) against my will. May they be damned.
They are murderers, pedaphiles, baby killers (their own children) little girls murderded, little boys raped. Liars, thieves,, blasphemers of the holy ghost, (attacking all things outside of their little bible box ‘the devil’). As the crusaders and conquistadors. “By their fruit you will know them”. Christians.
“Born in sin, come on in.”

    • someone who cares

Ray, You don’t know how to read the Bible so you cannot interpret it. It speaks to your heart, not your head. And there are legitimate ways to study it. 25% of the Bible is prophetic and all fulfilled prophecy came to pass exactly as written. Right now we are in a time of intense prophetic fulfillment that will only increase.Jesus love you. He died for your sins and mine. He is so kind and good. You can choose to accept the sacrifice He freely made, and trust Him with your whole life. He has a plan for you that will make you more happy and fulfilled than anything you can dream of on your own. He knows the future. He can and will change your circumstances if you let Him into your heart and mind. Or you can continue on with this demonic level of hatred and let your own mind destroy you. We live in a fallen world that is going to get much worse until His return. He isn’t causing what He foretold. He knows the future. You will mock me now, but I hope you remember my loving counsel so that some day you will call on His name when you need Him most. He knows you, love you, and is able to see the great person He designed you to be. His love trumps all the bad things in life. It is really foolish to reject this awesome goodness that you know nothing about. Biblical term meek or humble means a teachable spirit. When you learn to be humble before Him, he will begin to lift your life up. Take heart!

  • Don King

This person states near the end of the article, “…about the only thing keeping our society together has been the unprecedented affluence…”
Are you kidding me??!! Look a little deeper. That affluence has come from the fact that the USA has been a God-fearing nation for the last 33+ years, and that is coming to an end. As we get father and farther from God, we’ll continue to get closer and closer to hell – it’s just that simple.

  • Gary

I predicted this collapse over 30 years ago when I saw what these one way trade deals were doing to our manufacturing base. When you lose your ability to manufacture you lose all that goes with it. The rich banksters and crooks in Washington have sold America out through their greed and short term thinking. Once it gets to a point where it starts to effect them they will want the very people they sold out to fight a war to protect their interest.

Just look at the pay disparity between the average worker in a corporation in the U.S. and the CEO’s. It is sickening. The rich have tried to brain wash the gullible people into blaming what is left of the Unions in this country for the problems but that will only work for so long. I believe a good French Revolution is in store in the U.S.

    • Jonny

I hear you Gary. This isn’t news to people who’ve been paying attention.

  • Matt

How exactly would posting this to Facebook or Twitter be making a difference. I understand this an attempt to spread awareness, but to what end? Are the frustrated going to march on Washington? Are your words going to redirect the fate of the world? All this blog entry really tells me is that America is conducting business as usual. There has never been a golden age where everything was just swell. No, there have always been subcutaneous wounds that fester until they become infected. How exactly is the average person going to prepare for this next Great Depression? Store food? Buy gold? Buy a gun? I have read quite a lot of entries on this blog and all I see is a lot of alarmism without any real solutions. What defense does anyone have against the coming economic collapse? Stores of rice mold over or become infested with roaches. Food not canned properly, even food canned properly, can breed clostridium botulinum. The point is, no matter how much you actually prepare, you will never be prepared. Your words are quite useless, but they do point to an ulterior motive. I notice one of the books being sold is Heaven is for Real, which is not an objectionable book (it’s actually pretty good), but it hints that this is not exactly a secular blog or a secular organization. Republicanism has become synonymous with Christianity, and so too is this whacky little Tea Party. So then I guess the best way we can all save ourselves from the coming economic collapse is to impeach Obama and elect Glenn Beck president, even though it was obviously the right that got us into this little dilemma. Reagonomics anyone? How about you do something more useful with your words than scare the crap out of dumb little Susie from down the block just to fulfill your own agenda. Of course, I could be wrong.

    • Perry

Tea Partiers are not all religous. We are alike in our absolute hatred of socialism in all its forms. Communism, Obama’s American Fascist Progressivsm, Fabian Socialism from Europe. We love our country, one nation with one language ENGLISH, we love borders that are protected as most of us were raised on the belief that “good fences make good neighbors”. We will defend the country don’t ever think otherwise. We will first defend our homes, then our streets then our towns. We will link up with our fellows and protect the country while you lib-tards are peeing your pants and doing a bowl of California gold. Don’t mess with the Tea Party!

    • Gorba

      And you are!

    • Hank, MO

Of course, you are wrong, Matt– on numerous points– but I do agree that there’s no need for panic just because Little Johnny contacted a bunch of his Facebook pals and got them to create a little havoc nationwide. Just take away his computer and his celphone and he’ll be so bored he might actually do something productive. Eventually, he may even learn to make a living for himself instead of whining about not having anything to play with during his unending hours of idleness made possible by our liberal, nut-case government.

    Who is John Galt?

    • Karen Bracken

      LOVE IT!!!

  • Society is collapsing because God has been taken away from us. There aren’t any morals and there aren’t any consequences for poor decisions.
Evil is running rampant and OB administration has just turned up the burner to accelerate the devastation. This is to be able to install Martial Law over the USA.
We need to get back to Christianity and the 10 Commandments. We need to treat each other with respect and not take someone elses goods, money, products, life.
God Bless Us one and all.

  • Part of our problem is “political correctness”. When will we learn that to be politically correct, there will always be the other side sacrificed. Wrong is wrong and right is right, regardless of who you are, where you live, how mcuh money or influence you have, etc.
Christianity came into existence when Jesus Christ died for our sins. He came to show us how to live. We are to take care of one another, not give what we have so others can be coddled. We are in this together and thus far, haven’t shown much.
We need to give hand ups, not hand outs. We need one language, not two or three, we need to have a fair basis for all. Stop indoctrinating our youth by giving them heros such as Mike Vics (sp) and Lady GaGa. Teach them to have respect for others, teach them the truth not a special form of socialism. there will always be poor people, that’s why others should reach out to help them. Poor people are different from those wanting free hand outs. Entitlement programs for illegals are wrong. If we didn’t provide the illegals with all the benefits such as medical, housing, education, etc., they wouldn’t keep coming here. Illegals are part of the problem; government is the rest.
When government won’t enforce the laws but sue states for trying to protect their citizens something is definitely wrong.
We need Congress to stand firm and not raise the debt ceiling; then some of these giveaways will decrease. The government would have to decide what to keep and what to consolidate or eliminate. Anybody can see that; why can’t our government? Because they don’t want to lose their power.
And another thing, why is it allowed for the President to be out galivanting around on the campaign trail using our dollars for his goals? Why does he and his family need to take numerous vacations all over the world? Each trip costs untold wasted expenditures what with the entourage that must accompany them.
OB should be trying to correct our problems of unemployment and the economy instead of out golfing, having parties and being the “toast of the town”.
People deny anything is wrong. Well, let them keep their heads in the sand. Hell is on its way.

    • Jeff

What a load of garbage Abby. You must be watching too much FOXNews.

    • Terry

Does no one see the end result?
      Do people really care
That rights are shredded all around
And Hell is what we’ll share?
It’s time to end the “Party” fights
      And consider what’s at stake.
      Proceeding down this fateful road,
We’ll sleep in the bed we make.

  • Cherie

I live in Tx and have had numerous violent incidents occur, and the police don’t respond. I am in the process of staring a defensive shooting club for women, incorporating a plan for self defense options.

I just wanted to mention that I have investigated numerous so-called methods to defend yourself, in the event you do not want to carry a gun. I think its worth mentioning.

If you do carry, you will have a limited number of rounds before a reload. Even if you carry, take my advice and buy the largest can of Hornet’s spray you can. You can loft it 27 feet, and it is toxic. The attackers will be blinded on first spray to the eyes, and they will have to go to the hospital for antidote. That way you can spray them first to incapacitate them.

You can keep it in the console of your car or your purse. Trust me, it will be just as much of a shock to them as their attack on you.

    Good Luck!

    Good Luck

  • Bill Eddy

What we are experiencing is what was predicted regarding the ‘last days’ in the Bible, “Becaue of the increase of lawlessness, the love of many will grow cold.” – Matthew 24:12. This country needs to truly turn back to God — then love and prosperity will be restored to our country.

  • What a surprise:
    Force unwanted births.
Deny decent education by neglecting programs.
    Encourage gun ownership.
Downsize government — reduce police force, community development programs.
    Socialize loss, privatize profits.
    Celebrate rich.
    Demonize poor and dehumanize have-nots.
At every level, celebrate might is right.
Oh, yes, meddle with things without knowing the consequence and with total abandon. Fuel the fear and the beast in all.
Expect utopia and heaven in return.
Makes a lot of sense! What a surprise these unspeakable crimes are happening! Time to ask Why is it happening?

  • If only more people today could put out information similar to this. Very beneficial.

  • I live in a town of 20,000 in kansas. There is no breakdown here.We are #2 in the nation as in recession proof. There are good people here. People are moving in from the cities so they can enjoy our way of life.It is very peacefull here.God in the heavens has blessed us.Thank-you Lord.

No way is America going to avoid this train wreck….it has been along time comiing and its our own fault. Gov’t workers taking tax money without earning it. Listening to union regulations about firing someone who is not worth paying….give me a break….not holding politicians responsible…..this country is going to hell in a hand basket and the born in america people just don’t care.

    • moses737

Our politicians have been brought and paid for by the International Bankers who own most of the Congress and Senators. And it is only a matter of time before our society deteriorates to the level that they will bring in their solution; A One World Luciferic Government that will enslave the whole world. And they will force everybody to take their zombie making and mind controlling mark of the beast chip in their foreheads and hands.

And if you take their chip according to Revelation 14:9-11, you will be tormented in the lake of fire and brimstone, 24/7, because it will mean that you joined Satan and his antichrist beast leader and leader.

I agree with you johnnyrotten. Make my day miserable and yours will be worse.

A lot of these are terrible, individual crimes that unfortunately happen all the time. On the other hand, Libertarians were quick to defend Michael Vicks on the ground the dogs were his property and he could do whatever he wanted with them.

    • Dukeofrox

Modern libertarians tend to be immature selfish fools who are convinced, through lack of reality and common sense, that the universe has an obligation to revolve around them individually — they act like spoiled brats in other words. Not that that is not a symptom of our ill society at large, but libertarians seem much more likely to be afflicted and celebrate the disease.

“Today our young people are facing a future that looks incredibly bleak.”

For a 17 yr old kid like me, that is PAINFULLY TRUE. I always dreamed of being an animator in Pixar or somewhere like that, making and releasing award-winning movies and living by my own happy self in L.A., palm trees, beach dreams and all that. But man, now that I know about this coming hell, I’m thinking of going into politics instead after the revolution is finally over and we’re rebuilding.

This Administration and its facist/socialist predecessors have ruined so many dreams and lives, and yet they feel no remorse. When the S finally HTF though, and they finally lose everything, they will be the sorriest people on earth. They will most likely be killed and robbed blind, all of them (except Ron Paul, I hope). The MSM pundits will also be one of the first ppl to go, along with the sheeple who sucked in everything MSM told them and were too naiive and ignorant.

  • I got 2010 a government inviation to the land of unlimited possibilities.

I was there at the 1st world conference of emerging industries.

I made a key note at the conference.

Western industrial countries have to change there tax system to avoid a total crash.

1.) The land of unlimited possibilities is now China
2.) There are emerging industries – Solar electric power, wind, electric mobility.
3.) Can You go 6 hours with all Your luggage, camera, notebook in an US city? No problem in free and peacefull China.

    • That Mouthy Lady

“Free & peaceful China?” ????? LOL!

Is that the “free & peaceful” China where people have to risk their lives to read or even own a bible? Or have a Church meeting? Or travel to wherever they like? Live where they please? Work where they want to? Have more than one child if they so desire? Get onto the internet & surf unblocked, where they please? Marry whomever they please? Watch TV that shows them other cultures that don’t promote Communism? Keep the money they earn if they stay silent about government abuses? Criticize that government without fear of retribution?

I’ve tutored students from China, & known others from there. Very sweet people. A lot have come here to study in a REALLY free nation, & have a second child here. They paint a FAR DIFFERENT picture than do you. Though they love their homeland, they HATE what China has become!

      Dream on, fool.

  • RobM

Certain aspects of this I would agree with but I have a problem with SWAT raid for the student loan one: The police later stated the warrant was NOT from the Dept of Education. It was from another dept investigating student loan thefts of Pell grants racketiering. Also the Memorial Day weekend riots were from rapper-gansta get togethers. Not being rascist but what do you expect? Poor people from urban projects having a party en masse.

If you need “god” or “christianity” to keep from becoming a savage, then you are weak, shallow and gutless.

Grow a backbone and stop looking for something to LEAN ON.

  • Captain Chaos

I believe it’s a combination of upbringing and today’s society in these economic times. Kids of today “tomorrows leaders” are looking to be part of some kind of group (gangs) to be part of. These so called gangs are just the garbage of today’s society. There is no benefit for these kids to be in. They are being brain washed from what our parents are teaching us. Which brings me to the point of upbringing. Some parents don’t give a dam what there kids are up to. These parente typically from low income living, just think that everyone owes them something or everything. It’s ashame seeing these kids being rejected from there own family blood. They are basically thrown out the door and learn the streets to survive. Kids should be given a chance to live life. Not by joining gangs. What the hell are the kids thinking to join. Initiation is getting your arse beat up to a pulp. Girls being gang raped by god knows how many. In this article concerning the next 20 years, yes it’s going to get ugly. Yes, I’m concerned about my kids future. Yes, I do spend all possible time with my kids and provide the best I can my kids upbringing. Yes, I will do whatever takes to defend my family if need be. Even here in Lehigh County PA there has been break ins in people homes in a development behind where I am. When you thought you have heard it all. A Target store by me was held up last week. Seventh Street Downtown Allentown people being robbed, stabings, car jack etc. No exaggerations, downtown Allentown is getting bad. It’s all low income housing “projects” where these events happen. People are getting desperate and will do whatever it takes to keep either there habit going. I hope for some of these people are doing this to put food on the table, which I doubt. Once a thief is just for profit or a habit. But all I can say just like most people here am ready and in hopes I don’t need to use my gun on someone.

  • If this is what Political Correctness will get you then this is only the tip of the iceberg.I don’t know what to say if the Government gives Islamic Radical Terrorists the benefit of the doubt.Think seriously about this.

  • Michael

Your article is correct. All of these social problems have been caused by a poor economy, nationally and internationally. There is one solution, the reenactment of the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933, which assured that the commercial banks and investment banks, were separated. It was repealed by Clinton in 1999 and brought on all the speculation (derivatives and securitization of real estate loans) and other gambling scenarios that have occurred since then. Go to and get in depth information.

Lets just say it because we are all thinking it:

I agree of course with the theme of this website. I have been watching the decline for years and just decided to not have children and leave the world to the thugs, marxists and islamists to fight over. I want to say that I was raise a Christian but like with my Christmas fun of Santa Claus I grew up and stopped being deluded with religion. I really chafe when I hear someone or read someone give the glazed over moronic answer that Jesus or Budda or Allah will solve our problems. I don’t want to say I want to beat the crap out of them but the feeling of absolute frustration with that stupidity does well up in my throat. We have as Americans the ability to take our country back from the socialists and elitists that have run rough shod over us. The Tea Party has show the way. “Mount up and ride toward the sound of the guns”. Pick up a sign, email a Rep or Senator, talk to a co-worker. Join the fight we need you.

    who cares … ?

  • ladykrystyna

Okay, 2 beefs with this article:

    1. The Dept of Education SWAT team story – needs to be updated. It was not SWAT, it was officers from the Dept of Education. Also, apparently it was NOT about upaid student loans and could have been fraud regarding student loans.

Don’t get me wrong, I still think it was ridiculous to go to such lengths for a case of fraud.

    2. The “childrens’ book” entitled “Go The F*k To Sleep” is NOT a childrens’ book. It was a tongue and cheek book written by a guy who was having trouble getting his 2 year old daughter to go to sleep. After one harrowing night, he updated his Facebook page, JOKING that he was working on this book called, yes, you guessed it, “Go The F*k To Sleep”. His friends thought it was so funny, they encouraged him to write it. It is NOT meant for children, despite its cover and style. See either the current Redbook or Good Housekeeping for the story to verify.

Nothing wrong with keeping people informed, but it also helps if you are CORRECT. Otherwise, a couple of “wrong reports” and you become a Chicken Little and a Boy Who Cried Wolf and no one will heed your warnings.

    Just some friendly advice.

    Government trying to take 100 million acres out of production so as to empower environmentalists;

Do not doubt that what you are seeing is worldwide and it is totally planned and staged from the pit of hell itself. The climaic battle of a war that is older than mankind is at hand and we are the battlefield. Do not desire to be numbered with the evil rich who implement this plan for their doom is certain and it is near at hand.

    • That Mouthy Lady

OWEN: “Rich” is not a synonym for “evil.” There are many very good rich as well as poor people, & vise versa.

      Don’t stereotype.

      THINK, instead.

And no, I’m NOT rich–I’m dirt poor. But I know lots of rich AND poor folks.

      • Owen

Indeed I have been thinking and pondering this issue for over 20 years now, but I do see how you could mistake my meaning. I do not think that all whom we would call rich (some might even consider me rich) would be evil. I was pointing to that segment that are both rich and evil and that segment is indeed small but they are very powerful. You did the same with your phase good rich. I do see our present situation as a planned event and I do attribute it to ultra-wealthy men and women in league with Satan in the great conspiracy against God that began before our race was created and continues to this very day. The outcome of that conspiracy has already been determined and it is recorded in the Word of God. Unfortunately for our race, most humans will choose to be on the losing side. I can tell you now what these evil rich want from the rest of us — they want us to die. That’s right. That’s what they are planning. In regards to the rich, here is a verse from the Word of God that we would do well to ponder: “Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: Has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him? 6 But you have dishonored the poor. Is it not the rich who are exploiting you? Are they not the ones who are dragging you into court? 7 Are they not the ones who are blaspheming the noble name of him to whom you belong?” James 2:5-7.

Olivier, you have it backwards. You ‘buy’ the media propaganda. There is abortion available everywhere, but those babies could have been our salvation. (Many brilliant minds who contributed greatly to socienty were almost aborted.) There are many ways to get an education, but if you want to blame someone for higher cost, blame the ‘higher’ universities for raising the cost 400% in the last 10 yrs. Gun ownership has proven in countless studies to REDUCE crime; obviously, criminals don’t register guns, so enforcing registration and limitation of guns cannot help–and note, that’s the first thing upcoming dictator regimes do is take away guns. Police are downsized because those in administration don’t want to cut their own jobs. It was TARP and bailouts that socialized loss but also set up sharing of profits with political elite. True some rich such as Soros want to control, but most ‘rich’ are trying to keep their businesses afloat–businesses that employ others. ‘Poor’ aren’t demonized; Americans are generous in giving. But, those who think they are ‘entitled’ to everything that others work hard for are the cause of many uprisings–fueled by strategically-placed, politically-motivated instigators, such as the thugs at voting locations.

    • I, Enemy Combatant

The net value of humanity is negative, so most of those babies who were aborted would have been parasites on society or worse.

GOP Allows Rich To Literally Take Food Out of the Mouths Of Women and Babies.

If you are a mother struggling with food instability, programs like WIC (Women Infant Children), which provide financial support for grocery purchases, are like a lifeline.

But WIC is a lifeline the GOP is more than willing to cut in order to protect tax cuts for the rich. And how long would the wealthy be effected if they had to give up their breaks to keep WIC fully funded?

    Just seven days.

  • Gary2

Just another glaring example of how the people who call themselves “pro-life” have little or no respect for any of these babies after they are born unless their parents are rich enough to keep the political-campaign- contribution bribes coming after these politicians do the dirty work for them.

The GOP are disgusting immoral evil people.

    • That Mouthy Lady

GARY: That’s a Leftist propaganda LIE. You’ve been brainwashed by the Leftist media. One may find pro-life organizations all over the place which help the expectant mother by:

      * job training

The moral fibre of society has been declining for at least two generations now. Hence the decline in the number of families with two parents and children. The recent affluence has papered over these deficiencies but now the chickens will come home to roost. The Americans unfortunately will be the last to discover that democracy can only work in an affluent and growing economy.

  • jim

This country gets what they deserve. We had a christian culture in this country. That was the best culture in the history of the world. The country was founded on it and,as a result,we had the most prosperous country in the history of the world until 1960 when we voluntarily decided to replace it with a secular culture(the worst kind of culture). Since then we have been going down hill morally. The chickens of our moral decline are now starting to come home to roost. That’s why I don’t vote for fiscal conservatives like Arnold, Rudy and Mitt. These guys believe that we have to put the moral issues on the backburner until we fix the economic issues. They don’t care if the country goes into the toilet morally just as long as it doesn’t go into the toilet economically. They just don’t get it. They don’t seem to see that it is the moral problems that are causing the economic problems. It’s not the economy stupid(as Bill Clinton once said). It’s the morality stupid. But the young people want the freedom to ‘hook up’ and have casual sex and if there is an unwanted mistake, why let that stop your fun and pleasure. There’s always abortion. This country is history. We’re not going to turn it around. We’re living in the last days of america as we once knew it.

I look with excitement to the future, because yes, this country deserves it, not for turning it’s back on Christianity though (your religion is made up, it’s a system to control masses, just need to do a little bit of research and have a little bit of sense to realize this) Americans have no sense of community and common wealth, it’s only about me me me, what is mine! Well now all you selfish, self righteous pricks will reap what you have sown 🙂

    • Peter

I guess no one here recalls learning about late 17th Century France, which was almost 100% Christian (Catholic), run by the clerics and nobility and how that turned out???

Your problem isn’t religious, although every right winger will argue it is because that viewpoint is easier to digest and sits well with their social attitudes and values. Your problem is socio-economic. The wider the disparity between the classes, the greater the level of violence. This is not a new phenomenon folks, it happened throughout history and yet you still have people who completely discount it.

It is very difficult to take something away from people once you have given it to them. I defy you to take away national holidays, iPods, free elementary education, etc from the populace. You’d have another Civil War. Yet Corporate America and their political servants take away the general populations opportunities to prosper and can’t understand why the middle class isn’t happy about it.

Keep doing what you are doing, you’ll learn (yet again) the hard way that numbers speak volumes and the middle class can only handle so much before they break. We have the same problems up here but because of our social safety nets, our patience is much greater. Once we lose those, we’ll be the same way; preying on each other, survival of the fittest.

And, regardless of your belief system, you have to admit Darwin got that much right!!!

      • Peter

Sorry, 18th Century France. Don’t let that little error blind you to the accuracy of the situation now (although a lot of you will because it’s too difficult to look at and deal with your problems any other way)

    • Crispy

Totally wrong! Forget Christianity: It has hurt enough people!
It’s Reaganomics (Voodoo economics as G Bush senior called it himself)
We need to put in place a huge rebuilding of the crumbling American infrastructure with well paid jobs.A 40-60% increase of minimum wage to take real inflation into account is WELL overdue.
Socila Sec recipients have lost 60% of their buying poer in the last 12 years (economists say so…not me) So: let’s increase benefits for all Soc Sec recipients earning less than $1000/mo and 30% between 1000 and say $1300
10 % up to 1500. Bust the cap on Social Security income tax: everyone pays the same, to pay for it.
Let tax corporations on their profits diverted to tax heavens at a higher rate than in the US to discourage tax evasion practices instead of offering an amnesty (current offer!).
Start a 10% tax on wealth above $1 million for 5 years at least.
Set up a maximum wage (currently a big subject in France) of 12-20 times minimum wage!
Return to pre-Kennedy tax structure: It promoted growth and the birth of a healthy middle class (remember 60s and 70s golden age???)
Kennedy, then Reagan destroyed it: it took 30 years of “trickle up” – turned gush up in the last 10 years – to get us to where we are!
Set up a permanent Social Contribution tax like in France: currently at 11% on all income except disability and unemployment.
Return taxes on capital/investment gain to 30% remove loopholes. Remove all Farm subsidies going to farmers earning over $10000/year!
Hum… that would be a good start!

      • Gramma

Your comment is the only one, that makes sence at this point. This has nothing to do w/ religion, it has to do only w/ human g r e e d.
We must hang onto our christian values. The fact, that corrupt Rome in collusion w/ the ruling class /1% ??/ kept the masses stupfied and in fear is not much different than what is going on today.
Jesus Christ was a socialist!!!. I bet if he was around He would take his whip and visit Wallstreet and their paid politicians.
Change is needed NOW> before things get out of hand. Do it young people, love one another and have faith. U are the future.

        • FUKyiah

Right, genius….Jesus was a socialist : Thou shalt not steal…except when there is a noble cause such as helping the poor. Jesus believed the government should direct our lives, not have us act as individuals. YOU are one of the signs of the end times! YIKES!

    • Firstly, it was Clinton who said, “It’s the economy, stupid!”

Secondly, the most pressing things is the economy because we are on the edge of a cliff, financially speaking. This HAS to be taken care of, first.

  • Rick

I take a far different view of the collapse and see it as a string of related cause/effect movements. U.S. economic power peaked when? 1960s? Since that time we as a nation have exported out wealth to the world in exchange for cheap goods and services. $10s of Trillions of dollars in U.S. Wealth has flowed unabated to other nations. In the interest of promoting world-wide capitalism and stability, U.S. citizens have by and large bankrolled the world. During the 50s, 60s and early 70s (prior to OPEC), single income middle class families could thrive. This allowed one parent to stay home and groom and grow a family. In the 70s and 80s it was no longer possible for the single earner to make it, so the 2nd parent jumped in – leaving a big family void that still exists. Fast forward to today, now even with both parents at it, a family cannot make ends meet – and we still are losing $1.5T – $2T a year in wealth (by importing more than we export). Congress is so beholdened to corporate America that it allows this drain to continue. Just look at China – we allow our economic policy to be dictate by corporations that do not care one bit about the citizens of this country – their only concern is the quarterly/annual earnings statement. Can’t anyone see what is wrong with this picture? Innovation and prosperity are good, but when the incentives for all are not aligned (and I’m not talking about silly trickle down economics – which has been statistically demonstrated to be a joke), we get greed.

Christian culture? You mean the “culture” that had no issues with displacing or killing million of native Americans to take over their land? The “culture” that in the name of Jesus didn’t have any issues with destroying two of the most amazing civilizations in the history of the world? (Incas and Mayans) The one and only culture that would torture and burn people for just believing that the earth is a sphere and the sun is not the center of the universe? The culture that had no issues with enslaving millions of Africans for profit? THAT CULTURE? That’s what made our country great? I mean hard work, personal responsibility, sacrifice, and a constitution that provided perhaps for the first time in modern history PERSONAL FREEDOMS and minimized collectivism had nothing to do with it right?

      • iamnotoneeyed

You mean the constitution that was based on that very religion correct?

Let him with eyes see, and him with ears hear

        • Richard

The Constitution only mentions religion in saying a national church and a test oath will not be required. While the Founders came from a largely Protestant background they were often deists or agnostics. The founding document was most assuredly not based on Christianity as such. As for Jefferson’s famous “I have sworn opposition to tyranny” letter it was directly at clergymen who wanted a religious state!

    • ranch111

I don’t know what you are talking about. My wife stays home with the kid while I work. We are a super minority among our cohorts. They don’t comprehend how we do it. I could write a book about it and they still wouldn’t get it. We have plenty of money (about 40% of my take home) left over after we pay our bills. It can be done, it’s just that most people either won’t cut back or don’t know how to live below their means.

This is all baloney. America is not going to hell in a hand basket. We have a few basket cases, for sure, but the sky is not falling. We are simply enduring some hard economic times, and we have a dud for a leader who is making it worse than it should be. With a decent leader and some common sense, this nation can be as great as it ever was. Choose good conservative leaders, not just at the federal level, but all the way down to the dog-catcher and you will see America prosper again. Banish the liberal nut-cases from your social circle and quit glorifying those whose only attraction is to spout profanity or some idiocy designed to shock normal minds in order to gain attention. Learn to admire Joe or Jane Smoe who get up every day and go earn an honest living for they are the real heroes; disdain those who do otherwise by taking advantage of public gimme programs or living off criminal activities. Thank you. On a bleak morning in Chicago it is refreshing to read your basic “s#it or get off the pot” response. While we all have to be aware what is happening around us, I cannot live my daily life with so much doom and gloom.

      well said.

You are SO full of crap.

    • Harry Profane

The sad truth is, a country can only be as good as it’s citizens. There is no denying that basic fact, yet many seem to ignore it. And the citizens of today who now replace the citizens who built this country are no match, and in fact are quite inferior to earlier generations in many ways. A walk through any Walmart will provide a shocking glimpse of the average American of 2011 as low-class, dull-witted, uneducated, and uncivilized. These are not nation builders, and certainly can’t compete in the world marketplace. Americans are in love with stupidity and mediocrity.

  • Patrick Henry

The former U.S.A. (post Obama election) is now reaping the fruits of the years of leftist indoctrination in schools, by the media, etc. Also of LBJ’s forced busing and school integration. That was supposed to bring the blacks UP to the level of the whites. It did the opposite – white kids picked up all the negative traits of the blacks – brutality, anti-school, drugs, violence, etc. HOPE you are enjoying the CHANGE. Obama is just taking existing trends to the next level (of Hell).

    • FUKyiah

I totally agree with your comment about the fruits of liberalism; however, your comment about blacks is racist….THEY ARE NOT ALL THE SAME, ALTHOUGH IT MAY APPEAR THAT WAY TO YOUR PEA BRAIN.

  • Patrick Henry

BTW, I fled the former U.S. in the last days of its life, about 2-3 months after the Obama election. Haven’t been back since, and there is not enough money in the world to force me to return. It has been fascinating to watch the economy disintegrating and all social mores collapse. I didn’t flee because of Obama’s election (and certainly not because he was black – I like Herman Cain). It was because of the 52% of the population that would vote for a totally incompetent idiot, who was obviously a communist. There is no recovery from that. Once half the population was paying zero taxes, collapse is inevitable.

    • Crispy

Either he is both a Bankster and big business + billionaire’shill OR a Communist; NOT Both!

I have reared two fine young adults in an ever increasing society of violence and depravity caused by the liberal bleeding hearts that do not understand restraint and respect are the threads that knit cohesive society together. Every day I had to combat the foolish and erroneous concepts that came home from the public school who had control over my children more waking hours than I did. I kept them in sports to stay busy and away from drugs, which were rampant even in the sports teams. When my first was born my father asked why anyone would want to bring a child into this evil world? I now understand and fervently agree with him.
Stop entitlements, foreign aid, and “illegal”
immigration, return to a protection of the innocents instead of exalting sexual explicitness virtually everywhere. Freedom of self expression should never over shadow self restraint. The concept of honor, and truth has been critically eroded by selfish promotion. The “I”, “Me” generation was thoroughly indoctrinated by the very politically correct public school system that is as corrupt and sickly skewed as our government. In losing our moral compass we have lost our sanity and spiral to the abyss.

Do you know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but cannot, discern the signs of the times? Matt 16:3

IS JESUS CHRIST REALLY COMING AGAIN? I believe He is coming again. What do you think?

Did you know that at the core of biblical prophecy is the prediction of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ? He literally came the first time as a babe in Bethlehem as was predicted. Did you know that for every prophecy telling of the first coming there are scores announcing His Second Coming?

Christ’s Second Coming is something we should long for. Think of it! Heaven will be ours. Pain will be no more. Sin and evil will be vanquished. Satan will be defeated once and for all.

This is a vital issue today. How could anyone claim to believe the Bible while denying that Christ will return bodily to earth? But the position has garnered an outspoken and influential following, especially among young believers with more zeal than knowledge.

Many people think time is growing short before Christ returns. In the past twenty years, since Bible prophecy has captured the attention of this generation, history has been in high gear. Are we listening today to the warning from the mountain of evidence in front of us? Or will we be unprepared victims of foolishness who are not paying attention to the Signs Of Our Times? This morning I will present some reasons why I believe JESUS IS COMING BACK SOON The Bible Says

    Matt 24:44
44 “For this reason you be ready too; for the Son of Man is coming at an hour when you do not think He will.

    Matt 16:1-4
And the Pharisees and Sadducees came up, and testing Him asked Him to show them a sign from heaven. 2 But He answered and said to them, “When it is evening, you say, ‘It will be fair weather, for the sky is red.’ 3 “And in the morning, ‘There will be a storm today, for the sky is red and threatening.’ Do you know how to discern the appearance of the sky, but cannot discern the signs of the times?

The Day of the Lord 1 Thess 5:1-11
1 Now as to the times and the epochs, brethren, you have no need of anything to be written to you. 2 For you yourselves know full well that the day of the Lord will come just like a thief in the night. 3 While they are saying, “Peace and safety!” then destruction will come upon them suddenly like birth pangs upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. 4 But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that the day should overtake you like a thief; 5 for you are all sons of light and sons of day. We are not of night nor of darkness; 6 so then let us not sleep as others do, but let us be alert and sober. 7 For those who sleep do their sleeping at night, and those who get drunk get drunk at night. 8 But since we are of the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and as a helmet, the hope of salvation. 9 For God has not destined us for wrath, but for obtaining salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ, 10 who died for us, that whether we are awake or asleep, we may live together with Him. 11 Therefore encourage one another, and build up one another, just as you also are doing.

Peter, James & John, and Paul, and Christians of every generations have been saying Jesus is coming back soon, so what makes today any different? They have been telling me for 75 years that Jesus is coming back. I just don’t believe it.

This morning I am going to share with you Some Signs of Our Times and why I believe we that Jesus’ return is imminent?

Today we possess, as do many other countries, the ability to destroy mankind from the earth. Humanity never had that kind of power until the invention of the atomic bomb. The Bible says,

    Matt 24:21-22
21 for then there will be a great tribulation, such as has not occurred since the beginning of the world until now, nor ever shall. 22 “And unless those days had been cut short, no life would have been saved; but for the sake of the elect those days shall be cut short.

At the end of World War II, Robert Woodruff declared, “In my generation it is my desire that everyone in the world have a taste of Coca Cola.” Talk about vision!
Today Coca Cola is sold from the deserts of Africa to the interior of China. Why? Because Woodruff motivated his colleagues to reach their generation around the world for Coke .
How big is your vision? Have you ever dreamed about what God could do through you to help win the world in our generation to Jesus Christ? After all, as Oswald Smith said, the only generation that can reach this generation is our generation.
Even though the Lord limited His own public ministry to the Palestine area, He came and lived and died for the whole world. After His resurrection He commissioned His disciples to “make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19, italics added). He sent them as His ambassadors first to Jerusalem, then to all Judea and Samaria, and ultimately to the ends of the earth (Acts 1:8).
Those first-century Christians were hesitant to dream about how God would fulfill Christ’s last commands. The apostle Paul challenged their complacency by devoting his life after his conversion to traveling and proclaiming Christ.
Paul explained his vision for evangelism in Romans 15. First, he could report, “From Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ” (Romans 15:19). Even his enemies admitted that Paul had saturated entire provinces with the gospel (Acts 19:26) and had turned the world upside down (Acts 17:6).
Paul was not content to saturate one small area with the gospel at the expense of the rest of the world. He had a strategy for reaching the entire Roman Empire. “But now that there is no more place for me to work in these regions [Jerusalem to Illyricum], and since I have been longing for many years to see you, I plan to do so when I go to Spain” (Romans 15:23-24).
Paul went on to explain his itinerary. In his mind he visualized every major city he would stop at on his way to Rome. He longed to win the people of this influential capital city to Christ—just as I long to see key cities around the world hear the voice of God. But beyond Rome, Paul ultimately wanted to reach the entire known world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Like Paul, as God’s ambassadors our vision should be “to win as many people as possible to Jesus Christ throughout the world.” That is part of my evangelistic association’s statement of vision and reason for existence. Following the example of Paul, we actively and aggressively seek to evangelize the masses from city to city using every means possible.
Evangelism is not an option in the Christian life. Paul admitted, “When I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, for I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!” (1 Corinthians 9:16). Whether by preaching or praying, traveling around the globe or speaking to those next door, we should all have a part in winning the world to Jesus Christ.

    Matt 24:14
“And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in the whole world for a witness to all the nations, and then the end shall come.

Israel is back in their homeland in unbelief after 2400 years of separation. May 14, 1948

    Matt 24:32-35
32 “Now learn the parable from the fig tree (the nation Israel): when its branch has already become tender, and puts forth its leaves, you know that summer is near; (Israel becoming a nation May 14, 1948 again after 2400 years). 33 even so you too, when you see all these things, recognize that He is near, right at the door. 34 “Truly I say to you, this generation will not pass away until all these things take place. 35 “Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words shall not pass away.

Ezek 37:1-14 (Vision of the Valley of Dry Bones prophecy fulfilled May 14, 1948)
The hand of the LORD was upon me, and He brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and set me down in the middle of the valley; and it was full of bones. 2 And He caused me to pass among them round about, and behold, there were very many on the surface of the valley; and lo, they were very dry. 3 And He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “0 Lord GOD, Thou knowest.” 4 Again He said to me, “Prophesy over these bones, and say to them, ‘0 dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.’ 5 “Thus says the Lord GOD to these bones, ‘Behold, I will cause breath to enter you that you may come to life. 6 ‘And I will put sinews on you, make flesh grow back on you, cover you with skin, and put breath in you that you may come alive; and you will know that I am the LORD.”‘

7 So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold, a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to its bone. 8 And I looked, and behold, sinews were on them, and flesh grew, and skin covered them; but there was no breath in them. 9 Then He said to me, “Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and say to the breath, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Come from the four winds, 0 breath, and breathe on these slain, that they come to life.””‘ 10 So I prophesied as He commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they came to life, and stood on their feet, an exceedingly great army.

The Vision Explained: 11 Then He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel; behold, they say, ‘Our bones are dried up, and our hope has perished. We are completely cut off.’ 12 “Therefore prophesy, and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I will open your graves and cause you to come up out of your graves, My people; and I will bring you into the land of Israel. 13 “Then you will know that I am the LORD, when I have opened your graves and caused you to come up out of your graves, My people. 14 “And I will put My Spirit within you, and you will come to life, and I will place you on your own land. Then you will know that 1, the LORD, have spoken and done it,” declares the LORD.”‘
The World Council of Church, formed in Amsterdam in 1948, with its headquarters located in Geneva, Switzerland. The council brings together more than protestant, Orthodox Eastern, (including the Russian Orthodox Church and Old Catholic bodies, ), the WCC is a fellowship of churches, now 342 in more than 120 countries in all continents from virtually all Christian traditions, is now the chief instrument of ecumenicity; in 1961 it united with the International Missionary Council. This will lead I believe to a universal church and universal worship.

“The primary purpose of the fellowship of churches in the World Council of Churches is to call one another to visible unity in one faith and in one Eucharistic fellowship, expressed in worship and common life in Christ, through witness and service to the world, and to advance towards that unity in order that the world may believe”. From the Constitution of the WWC

Rev 13:1-4; 11-16 (The Beast from the Sea & The Prophet)
1 And he stood on the sand of the seashore. And I saw a beast coming up out of the sea, having ten horns and seven heads, and on his horns were ten diadems, and on his heads were blasphemous names. 2 And the beast, which I saw, was like a leopard, and his feet were like those of a bear, and his mouth like the mouth of a lion. And the dragon gave him his power and his throne and great authority. 3 And I saw one of his heads as if it had been slain, and his fatal wound was healed. And the whole earth was amazed and followed after the beast; 4 and they worshipped the dragon, because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshipped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him?”

Another prophecy in Revelation declares that the Euphrates River will dry up so this enormous army of two hundred million soldiers can cross from Asia into the Middle East to invade Israel:

    Rev 16:12
12 And the sixth angel poured out his bowl upon the great river, the Euphrates; and its water was dried up, that the way might be prepared for the kings from the east.

The Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP) is a massive $32 billion public project to harness the power and potential of the upper reaches of the Tigris and Euphrates rivers and to irrigate the fertile plains that lie between them. When completed in 2010, 21 dams and 17 hydroelectric power plants will produce approximately 22% of Turkey’s projected electricity requirements, equivalent to the entire national energy consumption in 1988. The Ataturk Dam, the sixth largest rock filled dam in the world, is the key structure for the development of the Lower Euphrates River region. Completed in 1993, it presently generates 8.9 billion kWh in electricity and is responsible for opening more than 180,000 acres of farmland to irrigation in the Harran plain.

Throughout history the Euphrates River has been an impenetrable military barrier between East and West. However, the government of Turkey recently constructed the huge Ataturk Dam that can now block up the headwaters of the Euphrates River for the first time in history. The Prophet John also foretold a future military highway across Asia that would allow this astonishing army to march toward the final battle in Israel. John appears to refer to the building of this highway in these words: “The way of the kings of the east might be prepared” (Revelation 16:12) 12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates; and its water was dried up, so that the way would be prepared for the kings from the east.
The Chinese government has spent enormous sums and expended the lives of hundreds of construction workers to build a military super-highway (Karahoram Highway) across Asia heading directly toward Israel. This highway has no economic purpose, and no foreigners are allowed anywhere near this road. The highway has been completed at a staggering cost of money and lives, through the rugged terrain across the south of China and through Tibet, Afghanistan, and Pakistan. The Prophet John’s unusual prophecy about “the way of the kings of the east” is being fulfilled in our day in a manner that sets the stage for the final battle of this age.

And don’t forget the 200 million-man army. Time Magazine, page 35, May 21, 1965, China’s boast of a 200 million-man army. This is not a coincidence!! This is the fulfillment of Bible Prophecy, see below!!!!!

    Rev 9:16-21
Then the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14 one saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” 15 And the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released, so that they would kill a third of mankind. 16 The number of the armies of the horsemen was two, hundred, million; I heard the number of them. 17 And this is how I saw in the vision the horses and those who sat on them:

Then over in Rev 16:12 the Bible tells us who this 200 million man army is.

Rev12 The sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river, the Euphrates; and its water was dried up, so that the way would be prepared for the KINGS FROM THE EAST. Rev 16:12

The Toronto Star newspaper reported in 1995 that Chinese officials admitted that they now have a staggering imbalance between boys and girls. The sexual imbalance will result in an excess of over seventy million young men in China by the year 2000, with no women for these men to marry. Negative consequences: 120 boys vs 100 girls born will cause social security problems, no one to pay for retirement, and social havic – no one to marry

With WORLD WIDE COMMUNICATIONS, the cellular phone, the internet and satellite TV. We now have for the first time in history the ability to watch world events as they unfold. Such a coming event will be the death of the two prophets of God.

    Rev 11:3-13
“And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will prophesy 7 And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that comes up out of the abyss will make war with them, and overcome them and kill them. 8 And their dead bodies will lie in the street where also their Lord was crucified. 9 And those from the peoples and tribes and tongues and nations will look at their dead bodies for three and a half days, and will not permit their dead bodies to be laid in a tomb. 10 And those who dwell on the earth will rejoice over them and make merry; and they will send gifts to one another, because these two prophets tormented those who dwell on the earth. 11 And after the three and a half days the breath of life from God came into them, and they stood on their feet; and great fear fell upon those who were beholding them. 12 And they heard a loud voice from heaven saying to them, “Come up here.” And they went up into heaven in the cloud, and their enemies beheld them.

Currently our age/era is identified as the INFORMATION AGE. Around the year 2000 it was calculated that the sum total of human knowledge is growing so quickly that it literally doubles every twenty months. This is staggering in light of Daniel’s prediction from the ancient past that “knowledge shall be increased.” Knowledge would increase. Specifically, this is referring to an understanding of Bible prophecy, but also an increase in scientific knowledge is implied.

    Dan 12:4
4 “But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase.”

We are no longer living in the industrial age. We are living in the information age!

Bill Gates says, “Information is king.”

There has been a transportation explosion in speed during the 19th century as never seen before in history. While most people in past centuries seldom traveled more than fifty miles from the place they were born, millions of people now travel across the globe as part of their normal course of daily business or annual vacation. And the U. S. space shuttle Discovery has carried our astronauts at a speed over eighteen thousand miles per hour. Speed and the ability to get places fast is the reason we won our independence from Great Britain.

    Dan 12:4
4 “But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, (travel) and knowledge will increase.”

    Rev 13:16-18
16 And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand, or on their forehead, 17 and he provides that no one should be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. 18 Here is wisdom. Let him who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for the number is that of a man; and his number is six hundred and sixty-six.

He will be a military, economic and political genius.

    Rev 6:1-2
1 And I saw when the Lamb broke one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures saying as with a voice of thunder, “Come.” 2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse, and he who sat on it had a bow; and a crown was given to him; and he went out conquering, and to conquer.

There are two riders on white horses in Revela¬tion: the first rider comes with a bow in his hand and a victor’s crown on his head; the second rider comes with a sword for His weapon and a kingly crown upon his head. These two horsemen are dia¬metrically opposed.

At the inauguration of the Tribulation, the dark prince enters as a victorious leader.

    2 Corinthians 11:13-15
13 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. 14 And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. 15 Therefore it is not surprising if his servants also disguise themselves as servants of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their deeds.
The prince of darkness enters our chaotic world scene straddling his prancing stallion, with an air of confidence and a flashing smile. As a symbol of a conqueror in oriental imagery, for his grand entrance he chooses a white horse. The white horse means that he will conquer through peace. Notice he has a bow but no arrows, and he will be given a crown. People will love this man. This first rider is none other than the Antichrist, the great counterfeiter who rides into the frenzied world arena at the beginning of the tribulation period to bring a false peace in the midst of global turmoil. The great impersonator, the cleverest mimic of all time, he will conquer without war. He is the Antichrist, and he will be ushered into power when he settles the Palestinian /Israeli dispute with a seven year piece agreement Dan 9:27. He will be a military, political, financial genius.
    Dan 9:27
27 “And he will make a firm covenant with the many for one week, (seven years), but in the middle of the week, (3 ½ years) he will put a stop to sacrifice and grain offering; and on the wing of abominations will come one who makes desolate, even until a complete destruction, one that is decreed, is poured out on the one who makes desolate.”

    Antichrist may be a homosexual:

    Dan 11:37
“He will show no regard for the gods of his fathers or for the desire of women, nor will he show regard for any other god; for he will magnify himself above them all.

In a world churning with wars and rumors of wars, revolutions toppling governments, people living with the threat of international catastrophe. This military genius will become the world dictator, promising peace and prosperity, and will be welcomed as the hope and savior of the world; he will mesmerize the masses and command the military. Under his lead¬ership governments will be united and the people of the earth will sigh with relief, believing their future will be brighter. He will vanquish all national loyalties, by consent, Rev 17:13, or by conquest Rev13:15; 20:4.

Former Secretary General of NATO, Henry Spaak, spokesman for SWIFT, (Society For World-Wide Interbank Financial Telecommunication, said concerning their goals,

“We do not want another committee, we have to many already. What we want is a man of sufficient stature to hold the allegiance of the people, and lift us out of the economic morass into which we are sinking. Send us such a man and be he God or devil, we will accept him.” Apocalypse Next page 292.

    EU – The European Union

The European Union (EU) is a family of democratic European countries, committed to working together for peace and prosperity. It is not a State intended to replace existing states, but it is more than any other international organization. The EU is, in fact, unique. Its Member States have set up common institutions to which they delegate some of their sovereignty so that decisions on specific matters of joint interest can be made democratically at European level. This pooling of sovereignty is also called “European integration”.
The historical roots of the European Union lie in the Second World War. The idea of European integration was conceived to prevent such killing and destruction from ever happening again. It was first proposed by the French Foreign Minister Robert Schuman in a speech on 9 May 1950. This date, the “birthday” of what is now the EU, is celebrated annually as Europe Day.

ICC – The International Criminal Court

The International Criminal Court (ICC) was established by the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court on 17 July 1998, when 120 States participating in the “United Nations Diplomatic Conference of Plenipotentiaries on the Establishment of an International Criminal Court” adopted the Statute. This is the first ever permanent, treaty based, international criminal court established to promote the rule of law and ensure that the gravest international crimes do not go unpunished.
The Statute sets out the Court’s jurisdiction, structure and functions and it provides for its entry into force 60 days after 60 States have ratified or acceded to it. The 60th instrument of ratification was deposited with the Secretary General on 11 April 2002, when 10 countries simultaneously deposited their instruments of ratification. I believe there was an outpouring of evil prior to the birth of Christ, and that there will be a satanic and demonic outpouring of evil just prior to Christ’s return. Look at all the evil in our land today. Doesn’t the following scriptures describe our world today?

    1 Timothy 4:1-3
But the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons, 2 by means of the hypocrisy of liars seared in their own conscience as with a branding iron, 3 men who forbid marriage and advocate abstaining from foods, which God has created to be gratefully shared in by those who believe and know the truth.

    2 Tim 3:1-5
But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. 2 For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, 3 unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, 4 treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God; 5 holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; and avoid such men as these.

    Romans 1:18-32
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because that which is known about God is evident within them; for God made it evident to them. 2- For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. 21 For even though they knew God, they did not honor Him as God, or give thanks; but they became futile in their speculations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the incorruptible God for an image in the form of corruptible man and of birds and four footed animals and crawling creatures. 24 Therefore God gave them over in the lusts of their hearts to impurity, that their bodies might be dishonored among them. 25 For they exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. 26 For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, 27 and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. 28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; 32 and, although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them.

Is The Restraining Power Of The Holy Spirit Slowly Pulling Back?

    2 Thess 2:6-8
    And you know what restrains him now, so that in his time he may be revealed. 7 For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out of the way. 8 And then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and bring to an end by the appearance of His coming;

If you have not yet received Christ as Savior, won’t you please take a moment now and do so? Here’s how:

    1. Realize that heaven is a free gift. Therefore, it cannot be earned; nor is it deserved. It is a free gift; it must be accepted. (Eph. 2:8-9, Titus 1:5)

    2. Man is a sinner and cannot save himself. Sin is what separates us from God and keeps man out of heaven (Isa. 59:2; Rom. 6:23).

    3. God is merciful and doesn’t want to punish you (1 John 4:8). But God is also just and must punish sin (Ex. 34:7).

    4. Christ was willing to take your punishment so that you could be pardoned by God (Rom. 5:8). Christ gives you His righteousness (2 Cor. 5:21).

    5. The gift of eternal life is received by faith (Eph. 2:8, 9). Faith in Christ is more than head knowledge; it is a change of mind and heart (Rom. 10:9, 10).

If this makes sense to you, won’t you please accept Christ right now? You can receive the gift of eternal life now! Pray this prayer with me:

Knowing that I have sinned and that I need the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior, I now turn from my sins in repentance from my heart and place my trust and my eternal destiny completely in Jesus Christ alone. Heavenly Father, please have mercy on me and forgive my sins. Wash me clean in the blood of Jesus Christ; be my Savior; come into my heart and give me eternal life. I renounce my past utterly and completely, and after thoughtful consideration, I now proclaim Jesus as my Lord. By faith alone and with God’s grace, I receive Jesus Christ and accept Him as my Savior. I surrender full control of my life to Christ my Lord. From this time forward, as He gives me strength, I will seek to serve Him as my King in the fellowship of His church and obey Him in all areas of my life.

“For whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved,” Rom 10:13.

    It’s So Simple

Matt. 24:30 3 words “Lord, save me.” Peter

Luke 18:14 7 words “God be merciful to me, the sinner.” Publican

Luke 23:42 9 words “Jesus remember me when you
come into your kingdom.” Thief on the cross

Rom. 10:13 13 words “For whosoever will call upon the
name of the Lord will be saved.”

You know, it isn’t hard to see the community organizing in all of this.

They leftists who seek to defeat us with our own money – have organized unions of street gangs. It is the same each time it is deployed. Develop a strict, militant dogma around hatred, dedicate yourself to any means justifying an end, and make an enemy out of your political rivals – that way you can begin to herd the sheeple wherever you want them.

You can even participate in voter intimidation and suppression.

Whay are we allowing a system of aparthied here in America? Why are we allowing the workers of the world to unite – against the producers – here in America?

Minorities are being mined for opportunities to sew discord – and they are willingly complying.

Do not allow the hatred filled small groups of thugs to cast you as a victim in order to use your strength, without your brain and compassion.

This is America – resist the hate – know what is happening.

Be Aware – don’t be herded into the faceless collectives known as “the masses” – because eventually, all masses either overwhelm the host, or they are excised – both scenarios reslt in death to the masses…

    I am not a mass – I am a me. I love my country.

It’s the greatest place on Earth – we just need to return our government to the people – we don’t need a “Big Brother”.

    • sofa

“Whay are we allowing a system of aparthied here in America? Why are we allowing the workers of the world to unite – against the producers – here in America?”

Why? Because “useful idiots” prove useful, and are easily manipulated.

  • This country became what it is because of the freedoms it provided its citizens – the freedom to make choices for ourselves, engage in economic activity, dream and try to turn those dreams into reality. Economic freedom produces wealth, period. It is when the social justice crowd shows up that things go downhill. Can you imagine the Americans who crossed the Great Plains in covered wagons and settled the West demanding that the government first lay roads, limit the speed and number of wagons and make the trip accessible to everyone? Look at the way people think! They expect everything to be done for them…some guy up there says free trade only makes companies move their jobs to poorer places…were there no poorer places in the world during the first 200 years of our history? We seemed to build a pretty substantial industrial base anyway – because people had skills, were educated, were willing to work and had discipline. That is really all it takes. The politically correct crowd has demonized every last thing that made this country great. So now, America will be a country with gay marriage, ethnic and religious factions vying for power, censored polite speech walking hand-in-hand with a hideous, horrid reality. Every last one of you knows down deep what the answer is, just take a deep breath and remember…

    • Eric

Your example of the Americans who crossed the Great Plains in covered wagons to show how peoples’ thinking/expectations has changed was BRILLIANT.

However, your characterization of gay marriage as somehow part of the problem has no basis in fact.

      • Donn

I also agree that the great plains crossing analogy was brilliant.

However, gay marriage is a good example of a “politically correct” society in which virtually anything must be acceptable. We are being forced to accept behavior that would have lead to the extinction of our race if it was commonplace and “normal”.

The freedoms and attitudes that built this Country are long gone. They have been replaced with people who want a nanny state to provide for and protect them from cradle to grave.

It worked out real well for the former Soviet Union. I just want to thank all the people who voted us into a socialist police state. Hope you enjoy our new Country, comrades!

        • aekara

Actually the gay marriage advocates started down this road with the simple argument of “unfair”. It is unfair for heterosexual couples to enjoy tax breaks, better rates on health insurance, better mortgage rates etc etc. Thus lays the problem. Why does our government give anyone “tax breaks”? In fact why does the government tax income period? Why do people get subsidies to buy houses (in the form of a tax break)? You see people the one and only problem is the fact that our money is backed by NOTHING. The government can borrow at will, the bankers can get 750 billion in bailouts and a do over, wall street firms can get inside info and billions of near interest free money. That is the one and only problem. Because let me tell you if those welfare checks was actually gold, those farm subsidies was silver, those little wars we have been fighting in the past 70 years were paid in gold and silver I guaranty you they would not have happened. No way no how. Read you constitution people. And when Ron Paul asks Bernanke if gold is money and he says no next time, you will know we have no constitution, no laws that actually protect free trade, no lawmakers that are not bought and sold to the highest bidder and no future no matter what we do with our character or culture. One big mistake Ron Paul made was he didn’t give him the follow up question. “Mr. Bernanke if you don’t believe gold and silver is money then you are saying our constitution is wrong and we should not follow it. YES OR NO”?

        • Crispy

Donn Obama is far from being a Socialist: he is an advocate of “Rogue capitalism” as Der Spiegel called it.
Big business have benefited from Obama and Health insurance companies will rake billions on our back thanks to a right wing healthcare reform.

BTW: What does Gay marriage have to do with economic collapse and stagnnat salaries since 81 after OFFICIAL inflation (most likely a50% drop)???
          Gay marriage = equal rights!

I have an idea let’s repeal the Bush tax cuts for 2 years and use 75% of the money for inrastructure investment and 25% for deficit reduction. If the economy hasn’t gotten noticably better in two years, we end the stimulus and devote 100% of the money to deficit reduction.

    • The FairTax would be very helpful.

      • Crispy

The “Fair tax” is not fair: it benefits mostly millionaires + billionaires

        • FUKyiah

It’s not fair because YOU are so special that YOU are entitled to other people’s income.

    • Crispy

let’s go back to pre-Kennedy tax structure; upper rate above 70%

    • Nick

@Wombat – Have you seen the math on what you propose? If we did as you suggest you would end up with 500 billion dollars towards the deficit in 2 years. That would hardly put a dent in our 16 trillion dollar deficit. We need to curb spending. Why haven’t we learned from the mistakes of Greece and Spain? They are the biggest example of what NOT to do.

@Crispy – The fair tax system is just that……fair. If you tax everyone at 10% then everyone pays the same. How does this benefit the wealthy? Oh, by letting them keep more of what they worked hard to make. I don’t know about you but I would rather be rewarded for hard work than penalized for it. Right now we have a progressive tax system (which was championed by Karl Marx). For the uneducated out there, that means you get taxed more, the more you make. Are there loopholes? Yes. Should we fix them? Yes. But let’s be real and stop saying that the wealthy don’t pay their fair share. Last time I check the poor pay around 7% income tax and the wealthy pay up to 40%. How is that fair?

    Good evening,
I’ve read many of the comments of this blog – by the way I’m writing from Europe – and I am profoundly disillusioned by the poor level of the discussion.
Many of the opinions seem to lack any serious and objective perspective on what is just about to happen in the USA and the real causes behind the unavoidable crash. This is quite sad. What would you say about Nixon’s 1974 shock? What about FED’s FIAT money? And what about turbo-capitalism? Many of you speak of pistols and God… go ahead… there might be a day when americans will experience what europeans felt during WW2.

    • Jonathan

      What are you talking about?

You don’t notice all the references to the fed here?

Nixon – oh, you must be referring to the Bretton Woods agreement and the elimination of the gold standard. Nothing new.

      What Europeans experienced in WW2????

Are you kidding? Europeans started WW One and Two, and the USA had to come and clean up the mess. What about what WE experienced?

Well I guess we are seeing that the hate of the Democrat Party is starting to bear fruit. They are trying to play one “class” of people or minority group against society like the article today about the inequities in inome between the rich CEO’s and the “working man” Their continued failure to enforce the immigration laws to get illegals to vote for them is also bearing poisonous fruit. These illegals have absolutely nothing to lose. The last SIX Houston area Police Officers were all killed by illegal immigrants, but since Houston is a Sanctuary City” there will be more. If we do not get the lawless Obama Regime out of office, this is only the beginning.

    • moses737

Sorry Roystoll2 – But even though I like the Tea Party; they will be unsuccessful in saving our Great Republic. But they will do some good. And they will only be partially successful because the power of the Internatinal Bankers/Illuminati kingpins who rule the whole world. They have had 200 plus years; in their Luciferic assault on the world. And they have assasinated Presidents; and also shot and poisoned Presidents and Prime Ministers; who wouldn’t obey them. But in the very near future; they will demand that the whole world take their zombie making and mind controlling mark of the beast chip in their foreheads or hands. And this RFID chip will change your mind; and make its recipients their brainless zombie slaves. But if you take their Mark (chip)you will forever be cursed by God in hell, 24/7, because it will mean that you have joined and sided with Satan and his antichrist beast leader; and their Satanic leaders; according to Revelation 14:9-11 and Revelation 13.

The Tea Party Movement was formed to get the corruption out of our government and it is working. You have got to enforce each and every law to the letter such as the immigration law that has been on the books since 1952. Build more prisons and do away with this “Racial Profiling” crap! It is just a get out of jail free card. The student loan incident; it is against the law to put someone in jail for debt, so what gives? From the FBI: Black males age 14-35 committ 56.6% of ALL violent crime in America while they compromise less than 3.5% of the population. This is a problem and the charge of “racial profiling” is adding to it. If someone in that group is dressed like a thug, stop and frisk. If a person in that group is well-dressed and clean shaven, he is not your problem. It is not a racial problem. It is a problem we ALL have to address. A little common sense will help.

    • Realist

If the Tea Party folks REALLY want to get ‘corruption out of our government’ (and it’s NOT working, by the way), then they’d want FEWER prisons and more money put in schools.

It costs more to imprison someone is about $30,000 versus $15,000 to educate a child from K-12.

The cost to build the ‘average’ prison in Pennsylvania, for instance, is about $200 million. The cost to build the average elementary school in Pennsylvania is about $32 million, and high school about $90 million.

As you can see, you save money concentrating on EDUCATION of all children than imprisoning adults.

ALso, black men (and Hispanic men) are arrested at a higher rate than white men. They are also given longer sentences for the similar crimes. As a white person, this should really trouble you, not for the unfairness to minority men (most are criminals), but because white victims of crime are 90% + victimized by ANOTHER WHITE PERSON.

90%+ of black people victimized by crime are victimized by black people. criminals most often simply don’t leave ‘the hood’.

If black men that ‘look like thugs’ should be ‘racially profiled’, then white men who are between 18-45, live alone or with their mothers, can’t get along with women should also be racially profiled, since they are the most likely serial killers and next domestic terrorist.

      • Jonathan

What the Tea Party ought to do is demand the progressives be kicked out of education AND prisons. Then we could start to clean up the philosophical mess. Then we wouldn’t need so many of either one.

We don’t need to be building anything until we can pay for it.

      • Crispy

Yes! we have the highest rate of prisoners of any western nations (we passed the Soviet UNION under Reagan: check statistics!)
We also have the highest crime rate of industrialized NATIONS MOST American don’t even know that fact because it’s NOT what our media tell us daily is it?
SO: Putting people in jail does NOT make us safe, neither is the cruel and non-Christian death penalty…

The baby boom generation, my generation, the “me” generation, has ruined this country by inserting the “me” way of thinking into every aspect of our lives. This had led to widespread unabashed greed, the breakdown of the nuclear family, the degradation of our environment. Everything is about “me” first and the hell with everyone else. The most powerful “me”‘s have formed the corporations which exist only for the expansion of themselves. They buy the politicians (more often Republican than Democrat) so that the laws will work to perpetuate the corporate power. They buy the media to influence people to want what they are selling and to vote against the people’s own self interest. As a famous Nazi general once said something like this….If you tell a big enough lie often enough, people will believe it’s the truth. They use technology to numb us and our children’s minds. They want to privatize everything so they can control the people in every aspect of their lives. They promote a pro life stance so that there will be more people to go out and buy their worthless products. They want to privatize schools so that they can control the future generations for their own corporate ends. Why do you think that most kids today know more about Lady GAGA than they do about any of the Presidents. The US ran well when we weren’t owned by mega corporations. It worked when we had mom & pop stores and bought local. It worked when people weren’t so stressed out because they have to work 60 hours a week just to make enough money to buy more of everything that they don’t really need. Kids are becoming violent and misbehaved because their parents are too busy to pay attention to them so the corporate messages on TV end up doing the parenting. The last Depression happened because of old corporate “robberbarons” which left nothing for the people. The megacorporations are today’s “robberbarons”. So don’t blame the government for all your troubles, blame the corporations that control the government. And ask yourself who the corporations promote more..Republicans or Democrats? The answer should be pretty evident.

    • moses737

Linda, this has nothing to do with the baby boomer me generation. Their only crime is that they are so focussed on themselves; that they can’t see how the International Bankers/Illuminati kingpins are stealing the wealth of America. They are so self-absorbed; that they can’t tell that the robber barons mentioned above will bankrupt the nation and will continue to have their One World Luciferic Government that will enslave us all. But when you take Jesus as your Lord and Saviour; you will be somewhat protected from these wicked monsters. At least until they demand that you take their Mark of the beast chip in your forehead or hand. And according to Revelation 13 & 14:9-11, if you take their zombie making and mind controlling, Mark (chip), you will be tormented in hell, 24/7, forever and ever. Why? Because taking the Mark will mean that you have sided with and joined Satan and his antichrist beast leader and leaders. But if you reject the Mark (chip) and be a martyre; you will be given the renovated and beautified Earth; and live like a goddesss forever and ever!!

      • Agamemnon

I’m sorry but nowhere in the bible does it say you will be tormented forever. I won’t debate scripture with you but you are wrong about that and what the mark of the beast is.

    • Rick

Linda: regarding your comment “The last Depression happened because of old corporate “robberbarons” which left nothing for the people.”

That is not true. The Stock market crash of 1929 and the Great Depression were caused by Central Bank monetary polices.

“When business in the United States underwent a mild contraction in 1927, the Federal Reserve created more paper reserves in the hope of forestalling any possible bank reserve shortage. More disastrous, however, was the Federal Reserve’s attempt to assist Great Britain who had been losing gold to us because the Bank of England refused to allow interest rates to rise when market forces dictated (it
was politically unpalatable). The reasoning of the authorities involved was as follows: if the Federal Reserve pumped excessive paper reserves into American banks, interest rates in the United States would fall to a level comparable with those in Great Britain; this would act to
stop Britain’s gold loss and avoid the political
embarrassment of having to raise interest rates.”

“The “Fed” succeeded: it stopped the gold loss, but it nearly destroyed the economies of the world in the process. The excess credit which the Fed pumped into the economy spilled over into the stock market-triggering a fantastic
speculative boom. Belatedly, Federal Reserve officials attempted to sop up the excess reserves and finally succeeded in braking the boom. But it was too late: by 1929 the speculative imbalances had become so overwhelming that the attempt precipitated a sharp retrenching and a consequent demoralizing of business confidence. Great Britain fared even worse, and rather than absorb the full
consequences of her previous folly, she abandoned the gold standard completely in 1931, tearing asunder what remained of the fabric of confidence and inducing a world-wide series
of bank failures. The world economies plunged into the Great Depression of the 1930’s.”
      – Former Federal Reserve Chariman Alan Greenspan, 1966.

“As everyone here knows, in their “Monetary History” Friedman and Schwartz made the case that the economic collapse of 1929-33 was the product of the nation’s monetary mechanism gone wrong……

In short, according to Friedman and Schwartz, because of institutional changes and misguided doctrines, the banking panics of the Great Contraction were much more severe and widespread than would have normally occurred during a downturn…….

Let me end my talk by abusing slightly my status as an official representative of the Federal Reserve. I would like to say to Milton and Anna: Regarding the Great Depression. You’re right, we did it. We’re very sorry.”
      – Current Federal Reserve Chairman Chairman Ben Bernanke, Nov. 8, 2002

      • Absolutely! We need to get rid of the Federal Reserve. Some time ago, I saw a video of a guy associated with Mises Institute who was very persuasive in showing that the Federal Reserve did more damage when it tried to “fix things” than if it did nothing.

    • Rick

Linda, regarding your comment “They want to privatize schools so that they can control the future generations for their own corporate ends.”

America, as conceived by the Founding Fathers, lasted about a century…The turning point was the massive importation of German philosophy in the period after the Civil War…The philosophical pragmatists in the 1880s and
’90s were pioneering the method of eroding the nation’s founding ideas…..For the most part, the leading spirits of the Progressive era were men who had been students here or abroad in the 1880s or ’90s. They were the voices of the
First American generation to be reared in college on the new collectivist theories; they were men trained to the conviction that an increase in the power of the state is the
solution to most of mankinds problems…..

From Emerson to Dewey [John Dewey, father of the modern American public education system, rf] and even later, they sought to accept the conclusions of Kant…They began to drop the made-in-America masks. What showed up was the made-in-Germany essence. The men and women growing up in the 1920s and ’30s, the first large scale group of Americans to be reared in Progressive schools, had been rendered incapable of offering their future children any intellectual guidance. As it happened, their children, growing up in the postwar years, were the first generation to be exposed to the new irrationalist trend. These children became the rebels of the sixties…
      – From The Ominous Parallels by Leonard Peikoff, c1982

Rick I cannot let you say this:
” The men and women growing up in the 1920s and ’30s, the first large scale group of Americans to be reared in Progressive schools, had been rendered incapable of offering their future children any intellectual guidance”

IF this were true parents in public schools all around the Western world would be incapable of raising their children properly and I challenge you to prove that parents educated in private schools (most of them of wealthy families of course) give a better future (less crime better careers) than those raised in public schools

SO I have been reading all these comments and some I agree with and others – not so much. But the basic common thread here is that we all agree that we have been used, abused, lied to and manipulated by our corporately owned and operated Government with the Federal Reserve Bank as the big cheese who started it all 100 years ago. So what exactly is wrong with the population of this country? Are we too stupid, too lazy? too afraid? Why can’t we stand together and make the significant and lasting changes we all want? IS it just that we lack a leader with enough charisma to pull us together? Would that even work or are we just too lazy to get it done? I hear this call to action from so many people day after day. Why doesn’t it happen? The only thing that makes sense is Fear and that’s just plain sad. So instead we sit in front of our tv’s and accept the slavery we are sold each day and hope that it won’t get any worse…
The kids won’t accept it for much longer, they will bring about the changes we are afraid to make. That is what you need to prepare for. The wrath of the children we have promised the sun, moon and stars to but have delivered nothing but poverty, slavery and fear.

  • mondobeyondo

This nation would have never survived the Depression if the people in the 1930’s had today’s current narcissistic, “me” attitude. Thank goodness people back then had a caring and sharing attitude. I hope and pray we can get that same attitude back today. But I doubt it.

  • I, Enemy Combatant

What we need is something like the Black Death. The Black Death actually improved living conditions for peasants because the value of their labor skyrocketed.

  • Realist

The U.S. has NEVER been more civilized that it is today.

People didn’t always ‘care about each other’. Black people were enslaved until the mid 19th century, and lived under idiotic Jim Crow laws in the south, and faced prejudice and exclusion in the North.

Native Americans had their land stolen, and were almost completed killed off.

In states like Texas, along with Black people, Mexican Americans were lynched and driven off their property.

In many states, Black towns and areas were habitually attacked and burned down, and many Black Americans were killed in ‘race riots’.

Asians in the Northwest were often driven from their property, given only a few hours to pack whatever they could put on their backs.

Hell, even poor whites until the beginning of the 18th century were sent to ‘debtor’s prisons’ if they couldn’t pay their bills.

In short, it is fantasy weaving to say ‘America is going to hell’, because they said that in the 1960s, during the depression, at the end of the 19th century and during the Civil War. Everybody thinks THEIR time is the worst.

    • MIFFED

Realist… thanks for your common sense. This dialogue was becoming quite depressing as hate and disillusion is more prevalant than I wished to acknowledge. “Sheeple” have been dumbed down to the extent that they REALLY believe that political interest,an election, religious and educational institutions really give a damn about them. Black v. white, rich v. poor, urban v. suburban and all of the polarities prostituted as real – have become real for many responding to this post. How sad. NEWSFLASH: To the 1% that run the world stage – you are bottom feeders – useless eaters. Until you guys who are Walking Dead, wake the f*&$# up, “their” plan for you will remain propped up a bit longer. BTW to the dumbass that made the statement about white kids adopting the ways of black kids- don’t let me open a can of whip ass and take him back to the time that Europeans were taught to bathe… by people of color. Just keeping it real. But no one wants real talk. REALLY.

  • TheGuy

You guys can never see history back before the end of World War 2, can you?

We had a secular culture in the 1920’s as well.

Do not ascribe to God what can be more easily explained by the fact that we won World War 2, were the only unscathed country to do so, had a shit load of manufacturing capacity and Texas oil, and won word reserve currency status thanks to the fall of the Pound Sterling.

The period from 1945 to 1965 is not “the history of this country” in its entirety.

  • Adam

Go the F*K to sleep is a book for adults.

  • Now more than ever we need to prepare ourselves to be self-reliant. Do not look to the government for your needs. A great starting place is to have food reserves. You can get free food by taking “Food Freedom Tour”. All you pay is shipping and you will receive two – four serving soups and one – four serving entree. The food requires water and heat to prepare. Great for times of emergency, camping trips and every day use. Plus it is quite tasty.

  • Zach

Wow, this is amazingly definitive proof you have of our moral and economic collapse. A guy beats up his boss? Some people were run over? Very convincing items!

Exactly what time period do you want to return to that was so pure? Give me a specific date range and I’ll see what atrocities I can turn up from that period.

Do you realize that one of the main reasons things can seem more perverse in our current period is that there is more news coverage and a quicker news cycle?

    • Haughty

      Oh Zach oh haughty one.

  • Mickalena

  • ZBK

The economic collapse is partly due to the fact that American women have been too busy involved with their own work and careers and earning a pay check like men do, and so neglected their children over a long period of time. This is not only sinful behavior (because God doesn’t like it) it is also detrimental to the economy and the social structure in the long run.
We are now at a point in the long run where the socio-economic structure has reached a point of no return. The massive damage done is leading to the breakdown we are witnessing now. American women can continue to behave like sluts, but everything has consequences…and the personal consequences that they’ll bear in the coming days will be horrific. Nature has its own ways of correcting things.
If American women do not realize what their God given duties and responsibilities are, then economic collapse is the only way out to teach them a good lesson in economics and social behavior.

  • Great blog you have, Sir. My hat is off to you for what you are doing, for the information provided.
I just posted this article on my blog and gave you full credit, of course, at the bottom with a link directly to your article.
I am a truth seeker myself and try to spread blogs, websites, videos about the reality we are living all over the net, to inform and educate people.
I appreciate what you do and thank you so much for it.

Health, love and prosperity to all.

    • Michael

Thanks so much to you and to all who help to spread this information. I hope that everyone will take these articles and spread them as widely as possible.

  • RealityBetraysus

Excellent info from Mark Lanz in print form. Here’some evidence and video format info for those who are still skeptical that we are living in “the last days”.

The bible says that will out faith it is impossible to please God. Even in our modern society you can not function without faith. How do you know going down a highway with only a yellow line separating you from on coming traffic that they will not hit you and kill you? How do you even know the chair you sit down in will not collapse under your weight. Every decision you make requires some faith. What is reasonable for you in terms of accepting God, that he is, he exists and does have a say in your future destiny? If you seek him earnestly with an open heart and mind you will find him that is a promise in the bible.
Please check out these 2 direct links for evidence and info that will prove to you it is reasonable to assume God does indeed exist and has communicated to mankind through the life and death and Resurrection of his son Jesus Christ. The last direct link will take you to youtube site that provide information on End times prophesy (the days we are living in now).
Josh McDowell’s book Evidence that demands a verdict.
Farside1975 bible prophesy and end times videos based on what the bible predicts for the “last days”

  • Jim Crow

I love all the finger pointing…liberals blame overbearing religious conservatives, conservatives blame welfare minded commie liberals.

What a joke. The closest anyone has come to describing our demise is the destruction of the family unit. For without constant rearing by parents, all children are bound to fail.

I laugh daily at these two “opponents” because Congress has made it into a manipulative game.
Divide and conquer is the strategy.

How many religious faithful thank the lord by serving despondent communities once a month. You rail on about their terrible habits, but you shelter yourself instead of spreading the lord’s word to those that need it most.

The same for liberals. It is clear that Russia, China, Vietnam, Cuba, and North Korea failed at spreading the wealth. Adam Smith has a book for you, it is called the Wealth of Nations

  • Jim Crow

You sound like a fanatical Muslim. In fact, where’s your religious towel. Women do not believe in slavery. Duties eh? So GOD ordained that Eve raise Cain and Abel. How did that work out?

Keep that religious crap in your community. Others know GOD is far more advanced than some ancient doctrine. Read Genesis again…it reveals far more than the history of the Hebrews. Even the Hebrews know that (or are you anti Semetic also?).

  • Brian McClean

Well may be if the US stops invading other countries and spending billions to bombing “democracy” on others the US citizens would see some prosperity.

I think it is not so much the economic collapse as the collapse of an ethical nature. Profit at all cost, extreme hedonism, cut throat capitalism degraded the US to a sub-society level. US media propagates gangster life style 24/7. The US will be the next USSR, but the process of collapse will be worse.

  • Tom

I hear lots of noises about cutting government spending. OK. Let’s do it, and we should start from the salary of our the members of congress and senate. Their overage salary is around $150,000.00. How about to cut their salary by half? How about cutting their insurance cost? Another huge saving. They should start cut their salary first.
Eliminate all kind of corporate lobby. Bankers and CEOs of corporations should not have salary higher than our president. Period.
All monster oil corporations should be splitted back to small ones, as we had 25-30 years ago. Here are so many jobes for people.

  • Alex

Forget all that religious stuff. It’s all nonsense, since it is manmade. The Bible is not the word of God or The Creator. It is a work of men. Ignorant, tribal people have used “religion” for justifying the worst acts that have ever been visited on human beings. It’s time to let all superstition go the way of the dinosaur. The world would be far better off without it. Think for yourself.

In terms of the global economy, it’s toast because the crap is baked in the cake. All debt based currency systems eventually collapse.
Do we know what is on the horizon? Not yet, but it won’t be pretty. Societal collapses have occurred throughout human history and people do survive. We can only hope that we will be able to once again rebuild after the hooligans, crappy politicians and central bankers have wrecked the remnants of what was an incredible experiment; The American Experiment.

Perhaps it is time for a great cleansing of the corruption, greed and stupidity that has dominated our country for decades. Sorry, FDR, there never has been a free lunch. Sorry, President Wilson, you can’t create money out of nothing! Sorry, President Obama, you can’t run up trillions in debt and expect to have a future as an intact nation.

It seems to me that the only way to rebuild this society is to allow the government systems in place today to completely collapse. Then we should break up the Union into smaller countries that would compete against each other for resources both natural and human talent. Get rid of the mega nation state and give it the heave-ho! A smaller state would force a new system to be much more responsive to the needs and wants of the populace, governed by the US Constitution as the Founders intended. This system is simply out of control and it is not sustainable. The question is will we allow the present form to be dismantled in an organized manner or will we allow it to consume itself? A nationwide default would be a good idea as we would hose the Chinese real good and they’d be stuck with file cabinets of useless paper.

    • Owen

“The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds, there is none that does good. The LORD looks down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there are any that act wisely, that seek after God. They have all gone astray, they are all alike corrupt; there is none that does good, no, not one.” Psalm 14:1-3.

Do a little research on the Bible for yourself (not the kool-aid served up by the History channel) and you will find that the Bible is accurate to a fault on matters of history, science, and prophecy (predicted future events at time of writing). You can call it “religion” if you like, but the american religion of evolution/psychology has no logical foundation. An self-caused explosion does not adequately or logically explain intelligent life. The universe cannot be it’s own cause, because it would have to exist and not exist at the same time and in the same relationship. The only thing that makes sense is that the universe was created by an eternal being who exhibits the characteristics that we have (giving our charateristics a logical source).

Evolution/psychology is the foundational belief system driving our total and complete collapse as a nation. It has been used to totally destroy the family by forcing women to voluntarily seek employment (leaving the children to be raised by strangers and public indoctrination centers) and completely undermining all parental authority. Evolution is not science, having never been observed or repeated, and unable to be tested–and psychology is nothing but man’s opinion about man. Both are labelled “science” to dupe the masses into accepting them as more intelligent beliefs than “religion,” which is painted as an irrational belief system. The result is total moral breakdown. The book of Romans predicts this slippery slope in chapter 1 verses 18-32; beginning with the refusal to believe in God despite it being quite plain, continuing with a belief and worship of creatures (evolution/ pagan nature worship), and resulting in total moral breakdown (rampant homosexuality, disobedience to parents, no natural affection).

    • FUKyiah

Yeah, Alex, you tell ’em: “Forget about God”. Then you state that the American experiment was “incredible”… experiment which is based on Christian principles. You are so smart Alex…..did you win an award in school for participating?

This is ridiculous. Citing a bunch of random crimes does not mean they are signs of a collapse in society. At any given moment in the history of the United States could a list like this have been compiled. Using a list of crimes to demonstrate this is a logical fallacy of post hoc ergo propter hoc.

Take, specifically, the popular parody book Go the F*k to Sleep. How is a man writing a satirical children’s book a sign of a deteriorating society? Satire has been around for centuries.

    • FUKyiah

The fact that a book with the f-word in the title would become so popular is evidence of a morally declining society…get it, genius? I didn’t think so.

  • Winston Smith

I do disability claims, used to do social security and Medicaid, now just Medicaid….just got an illegal alien case today that I have to work on and likely, based on issues, will approve a 20 yr old illegal alien! If politicians really wanted to do something, they would cut that out. Normal people finding out about that sort of thing, but do little to demand change. Plus, Medicaid is open to people now that work full time. So, Govt money and insurance going to pay for bills in medical facilities largely owned or dependant on Govt money-robbing Peter to pay Paul.BTW, when a social security number starts with 990, means illegal alien that your Govt has created out of thin air for them to use..

  • Mike

Please give me your opinions on the following question.

If the U.S. currency is about to collapse, is it better to spend everything you have now on food and supplies, etc. and even rack up more debt now to purchase these items? If nobody can pay their bills because the currency has collapsed to worthlessness it may seem better to go into debt now b/c that money will not have to be paid back. Also, why pay off debt now if society may totally collapse. Perhaps it it is better to buy food and ammo with your money now. Or will the government convert those old dollar denominated debts over to the new currency? Please advise.

  • All you said in the article is very true. day by day the disturbance in society is growing up and up and that,s why economy status is also going to collapse.the 18 signs you mentioned are really true.specially the last one of “mob robbing”.

A smart man once said, the biggest threat to humanity( I guess this means the whole world), is Man. Or words to that effect

  • Yes, things are looking grim indeed these days. However, America IS a great land, with lots of love to give still. So, if we stick to our principles, we will do fine. The rest of the world… Preparing for rough times ahead is essential for surviving times of uncertainty. As Benjamin Franklin once said, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.”

  • How can you expect people to act in a moral and responsible way, when the government lies, steals trillions of dollars, and openly murders millions of innocent people in their fake war of terror.

You want a good and just society? Initiate a real investigation of 9/11 followed by public trials and executions – Feels good just thinking about it.

How do conspiracy kooks always end up on a post with generally intelligent comments? DO YOU THINK GEORGE BUSH IS SMART ENOUGH TO PULL OFF SUCH AN ACT, YOU IDIOT?!?! DO YOU THINK THE SOLDIERS FIGHTING THE WAR ON TERROR ARE STUPID, YOU P.O.S.?!?!

  • I have been having daymares for the last two decades about what is coming. Practically no one would believe me and my closest friend said I’m letting this doom and gloom consume my life. Oh I thought to myself I should just sit back and enjoy the slow motion train wreck,is that it? Personally I’m a fairly happy person, but I have this extra ordinary ability to see what the future holds because I don’t lie to myself. I’m also loosely with the LaRouche group and I don’t answer their calls sometimes because I’m depressed enough as it is already. I look at this world and I wonder if I’ll be able to keep my self together because I care about my world so much. It may come to a point where I won’t want to go on. I hope it doesn’t come to that. I said to my parents “What a shame for people to get older, but no wiser. They gave me a look as if I was talking about them,I wasn’t.” Good luck America, you are going to need it.

  • I hate CHANGE i liked things the way they were

I have been reading for an hour fascinated by all of the comments about the demise of society, and I had a thought: who is the enemy? Answer the Illiet (cant spell that word. Sorry) they are also the minority. Who are they threatened by? The mass population of people. Because how could a small number of people take down a huge mass population. Only by having them turn on each other, like I see in the comments. It’s working folks. As a united group it’s impossible. America used to be united. It was such a wonderful place to live. I hate CHANGE. I loved things the way they were. So they can take their CHANGE and stick it up their @$$%$#$%^& money grubbing @^&&%$$$$$$$$$$$$’s

  • I hate CHANGE i liked things the way they were

    Once again……….. I hate
CHANGE…………I liked things the way they were. When I saw that slogan I new it was going to get ugly.

  • Hi again, just thought I’d add one more comment. I, from time to time do an informal poll for myself. I begin with the zinger statement “How do you like the Great Depression Now?! ” There is a definite change from what I used to get. Now practically everyone is acknowledging that there is a great depression going on. Yikes! How long before something really big happens? A social earthquake is going to happen,I can feel it. It is not why or how,but when. I can’t wait. The only fault that I find in my fellow Americans is that they trusted their government too much. This comes with a price I’m afraid.

  • JAYnLA

Actually, violent crime is down here in Los Angeles.

  • J.R.

Yadda Yadda Yadda! When the Schumer hits the fan, the economy collapses and all those who have not prepared for what is coming comes and goes, the smoke will clear and all those strong enough to be Americans will rebuild it. We are no different than any other country or nation who has collapsed. But this time, the entire world will collapse. We will once again be isolated from the trash of the rest of the world. One Language, One Culture, One People.

    • So..

Did you ever get to see him?

  • Paul Revere

These are the daze of Truth vs. Lies and Fables, will the Truth Return and show the Real Ruler is Light— where it all started…

  • Richard

One can always cherry pick awful incidents and disasters to make a scary story. But the crime rate, even for violent crimes, has fallen steadily for a decade. It certainly could turn around, but throwing fear-filled accounts of evil events, plus random facts on family life, is more the style of tabloid journalism (or armed vigilante groups) than serious discussion.

    • Another Jake

I with you 100%. Anecdotal evidence isn’t evidence worth considering. Most of what is said here is false or close to it. Random violence has been around since history has been recorded, and has been rampant in the USA since it was founded. Child abuse is tragically the same way. At least this country has laws against it now. I’d call those laws steps FORWARD, not a sign of decay of society. …oh, and Go the F— to Sleep is a parody… for adults not children. To call it a children’s book is just a lie; you can’t tell me that you actually thought it was a children’s book. You knew it was a joke, and you lied.

    • joe

There are none so blind as those who will not see. If you don’t see where this country is headed, then you must be incredibly young or naive.

  • Bonnie Crowe Hillman

The Bible states that just before Jesus Christ returns the times will be as “in the days of NOAH “.
In those days men were acting inhuman , depraved , without a conscience …..

    • danallison

And when did we not live in such days? When we killed 2 million American natives? When Hitler was in power? When we lost a million in the Civil War? ALL days since the Resurrection are the “last” Days.

      • FUKyiah

There are more signs of the last days than those you mention….such as a world government (which may be the result of U.S. economic collapse); preoccupation with the occult (Harry Potter, many occult themed tv shows, popular music, etc.); wars & rumours of wars; the election of Barry; the rise of Taylor Swift, etc.

        • UrSeriouslyDumb

How is the “rise” of Taylor Swift a sign of the end times? There’s dumb and there’s what you said…please leave.

  • I know that violence has always been around, and probably, increasing each day. But, another reality is true, and it is that the young people have lost hope. They are not anymore what they supposed to be years ago, they don’t have the same opportunities. They go to school, and then they don’t get a job, they study for years, and the don’t have a decent salary after that.. The media (TV, Newspapers) are publishing all kind of violent stuff, real or not, and giving to some part of the population, new and bad ideas. The politicians never do anything to stop that, who can believe in them? Anyway, I think that now it is worst than ever…

  • Ed

    As the old song stated

“ The revolution will not be televised “

  • topeka

yeah, the article is anecdotal, and borders on fear mongering, but using statistics to refute the issue is a fool’s errand.

the government is generating the stats – and most of these incidents will generate only one or two reports, no or few arrests, and fewer convictions. the stats compiled will under report these incidents by country mile. … no, by a country light-year.

In my local metro, for example, one should figure that every arrest is about two dozen crimes, and every depo hearing represents about a dozen violent crimes.

At this point, for certain groups, crime is essentially legal.

No, this has not led to the results expected, but that is because most of the actual people (including minorities and illegals) are NOT violent or criminal (as defined by common-law). Rather they are victims too of their violent neighbors.

But… what will happen when a Hispanic community is controlled by a drug-fueled war-lord and the only “criminals” who will be arrested are those men who are trying to work to feed their children but who lack the proper visa (illegals), the proper credentials (minority) or the proper permits or payola (whites).

Oh yeah, it’ll be great. And is this a fantasy, oh sure, just check out the neighborhoods where this is already true!

    Think about it.

    • jaytee

Exactly right… Here in spoke-a-loo… (spokane washington for the un-imaginative…) the local law enforcement came out on television and announced that they were going to STOP INVESTIGATING PROPERTY CRIME…. break ins? sorry… car prowling… nope… home invasion… tough cookies…. If you could write a bigger blank check to every jerk-on to do whatever they liked with little or no accountability, i’d have to actually see it… while i’m not waiting for the society to melt down, and i may not be the most ‘informed’ or ‘educated’, last i heard was that the WORLD economy was estimated at 100 trillion… The United states debt is 15.5 trillion… OUR DEBT IS ONE EIGHTH OF THE WORLD ECONOMY…. JUST OUR DEBT…. really, think about that folks…. we’re talkin’ about THE WORLD ECONOMY…. Again, i’m not a doom and gloom ‘end of the world’ type, but at the very minimum, we’re looking at a depression of proportions that will boggle the mind… This isn’t something we can just put a band-aid on folks… And those that are supposed to be in charge of making the trains run on time don’t seem to give a damn… If you prepare for something bad, and you’re wrong, what happens…. nothing…. If you prepare for something bad, and you’re right, what happens… you live….

  • Denise

Yes, these trends are disturbing. To me they are a sign of a lack of hands on parenting and discipline in the schools. However, I also see the other side of the spectrum – the youth in our church who are active in the community and with the younger kids in our church population. The number of twenty somethings who are taking an interest in politics and what is happening to our country. The sad part of this tendency towards violence by these malcontents is the excuse it will eventually give our government to exert even more control and eventually martial law.
It’s just the beginning of the inevitable. Just as God predicted.

    • Maggie

I agree with Denise, these are the signs of the coming of Christ but we must remember that He also said “these things must come to pass’ and also that no one knows the time Jesus will return, not even the son only the father knows. So for all those who fear out there remember the battle is already won and read Isaiah 41:13

  • Mark Majdosz

To Matt Smith…bring it on…no mercy…rebuild what you need? What you need is a kick in the ass…What, you’re not happy with free education, clean water, a roof over your head, abundant food, civil rights, technology that even trolls like you get to use? Please tell all of…what is it YOU want to create and tell me how you will do it, becuase it’s easy to something like “justice for all”, but how do you there is where the problems always seem to show up with socialist, facists and comunists, and its funny how they never seem to get there, and everyone who’s caught in that crap always wants to escape to a place like this (except without the useful idiots who think it’s no good).

“yeah, the article is anecdotal, and borders on fear mongering,” Tell that to the Mexicans in Nuevo Laredo. Nuevo Laredo was a nice place to visit. We did so often in the 1990’s. But then we heard of problems with drug gangs moving in, we were told that “that was b.s.” Well we decided to stop going, and thankfully so, look at the place now, headless bodies laying in the street and bodies hung from the bridges. Not counting all the ones shot up.

  • Lance

People like to believe crime rates have been falling when in fact crime rates are being systematically under-reported. This has come to light in several major cities but is being ignored when the fact proves inconvenient to those who want to believe all is well.

  • DavidF

This country’s god has always been money, its religion greed and its sacrifice the poor and as of late the middle class. It was simple years ago when it was just black/minorities being sacrificed now it’s white middle class folk too! Steps have always been taken to keep them at bay (heroin, crack, welfare et al) now there’s more of “them” that “us” and more of them that look like us…Is America falling apart? answer: it has been for a long time.
We were better off with God and the bible and prayer as a way of American life (even if you don’t believe in God) because we had a moral limit to what we would do…now there is no God of the bible, no prayer and no bible and consequently no limits, no right, no wrong, just get paid by any means necessary…Instead the true form of worship in America is spreading…capitalism, greed, selfishness, sacrificing others for my own benefit and love of money all these are the evils spoken of in the bible oh wait…we don’t follow the bible. Strange that a country founded on the idea of religious freedom (was that a lie???) could get to the point where pornography, gambling, drug use, abortion etc and etc are all legal in one form or another but prayer, and the bible and God are being outlawed… you do the math.

      I agree strongly…

Capitalism = FREEDOM, not greed, you indoctrinated idiot.

Let the whole thing rot an burn. Remember the Patriot Acts are mirror images of The Nazi Enabling Acts. If Obama was smart he would say “A terrorist action is rumored against “free” elections. I am suspending them and will hold them at a later time.” Like Hitler did.

  • As with all things in history, as Santayana
said, not learned will be repeated. Why should
the United States a country that never really
lived up to its potential and instituted an
    educational system which lobotomized, stulti-
fied, and stupified its masses with lying fairy
tales about its history come to any other end?

For all those that think crime statistics are truly accurate, you are not reading the truth. If violent crime goes down 10 percent a year, guess what, after 10 years there is no crime. The total US debt can never be repaid when half of society not only don’t pay federal income taxes they generally receive a nice pay check from the IRS for amounts up to $5,666 for a family of 5 making less than 48 grand a year. In Tacoma, an immigrant family of 5 making less than 78 grand a year is given public housing. Government spending is out of control and we will collapse, it’s just a matter of time. And time is running out.

The trouble is that they use the previous year’s data to calculate each years figures.

If you take 10 percent from 100 you get 90.
Now you take 10 percent of 90 for the next year. You get 81
Now you take 10 percent of 81 and so on.

      Great trick isn’t it

Can anyone tell me what wou
D happen if the USA were to defaut on our debt. Let’s see no cheap sleazy Chinese imports. Everyone gets a new start, our great friends the chime, saudis Arabia.,would have to foot the bill on this hmmm communist regime and a fanatic illegal oil embargo country. And all those poor multinational
Banks might go broke. I say file for bank ruptcy. Do u know Russia and china give 0 amount of money to foreign aide well now it’s time for these one hit wonders to foot the bill.

I hope crime increases..Some people deserve to die! Also maybe the reason that society is collapsing faster because of the gay agenda being pushed on the public and when that gets pushed, then my agenda will have to be pushed as well regardless of how many people like it or not and think we are sick in the head or not…. I also think the world should end ASAP! Maybe this society thing is evident of the Book of Revelations and that we are going to go through the Great Tribulation soon…Soon to meet the Antichrist, etc…xD But seriously though, I believe that is happening…

You are 100% correct. It’s funny as I look through the Bible and see what was written for our instruction. Then I look at history which has been fulfilled to a T. Then I wonder how anyone could possibly miss the information laid out therein. History proves that every single nation, tribe and or government that has thrown the moral code away and allowed homosexualality to become main stream has collapsed. I’m not saying that they are the cause of the collapse it’s just that when the society gets to the point where it is accepted the whole shabang is ripe for a fall. It’s one of the things that mark the end, of any nation. Violence, crime, hate, no moral sense of right or wrong, no natural affection, war, greed ect. However at this point the whole world is sick to the point of death. The fact that in the mist of all of what’s happening in the world that this is such a hot topic proves my point. People are dying of hunger, wars are raging, social unrest is rampant and people are made because two men want to be together in an way that is contrary to human nature? I mean really is this such a important thing to be concerned about when families are on the streets? Every time that the family unit breaks down, then that nation breaks down and goes away. No family unit no strong families no strong men to protect those families. It was once said “If you don’t stand for something, you will fall for anything.”. Those who wish to be blind will flame on me for pointing this out but you can not argue with history, that’s like arguing with a sign post because it says STOP. Look at history, God gave Adam and Eve the power of free will, they abused that freedom even though they knew what would die. Sure people have the free will to do what they want but there are concequences to our actions, and it’s not like God didn’t tell everyone what those were. He brought the Flood in Noah’s day, and he wiped out Sodom and Gommorah in Lot’s time. On both occasions he gave fair warning and time to turn around. Then he brought justice upon those who would not turn around and obey simple laws. He will do so again in our time, and those who are doing wrong will have the same stupid looks on their faces when the judgment is given and they are on the short end of the stick.

yep this is exactly what i believe also. glad someone else pointed it out for a change 🙂 but we both know that most people will reject our views…

I don’t understand. The original article is a bunch of random, unconnected events described as “evidence” of societal collapse. Then the comments are all about, well, ad hominem statements about the economy. I could say,”The leaves on the trees seem less green, so society is collapsing” and be just as based in apparent truth as all the other statements. Is there any proof of this, or are you all speaking from delusion?

I take medicine to combat my delusion, so I feel I may be an authority on the topic. If we’re just coming from delusion and wishful thinking, I can go all day. If not, I’d be very interested in the evidence you have to present, that comes from sources who are as independent and unbiased as possible.

This is what happens when the general population becomes a bunch of cowards and those who would fight against these gangs are forced to do nothing.

It’s your own fault if your government convinces you that you are helpless.

The only thing this article gets right is the increase in civil unrest. Overall the world is far less hostile today than in centuries past and a degradation of peace in America would be a very insignificant molehill next to the mountains of injustice history has seen. America seems destined to suffer in the economical and social changes to come, perhaps more so than other countries attempting to avoid the very same problems. However, before you curse the mechanisms that have created these problems, appreciate that they’ve been far more beneficial than harmful.
It reminds me of those who argue against vaccinations because of a small amount of adverse reactions that people attribute to their vaccines, when there is undeniable evidence of their benefits in the absence of many diseases that would have been a death sentence to contract in the past. Diseases that have been wiped out due to such practices.

This article is quite insulting. Its degrading and oppressive towards young people. Articles like this must be scrapped and the authors sent to prison.

According to the author, only young people take the streets and commit crime.

The biggest criminals in history are the baby boomers.

Funny they don’t say what race of “young people” are doing all the brutalizing. Let me go out on a limb and say “blacks”?
