In Every City In America There Are People Ready To Riot, Loot And Set Things On Fire

Baltimore Riot - YouTube ScreenshotThe city of Baltimore has been transformed into an “absolute war zone“, and the governor of Maryland has declared a state of emergency as the rioting in “Charm City” continues to escalate.  The funeral for Freddie Gray has unleashed a firestorm of violence, and none of it is going to do anyone any good.  To their credit, some of the leaders of the African-American community are standing up and loudly condemning the violence.  They know that smashing cars, throwing rocks at police and looting stores is not going to solve anything.  But just like we saw in Ferguson, there are lots of people out there that are ready to riot, loot and set things on fire at the drop of a hat – all they need is an opportunity.  The social decay that has been eating away at the foundations of our society for generations is now manifesting in some very ugly ways.  We have raised an entire generation of young people in a “value free” environment, and now we are getting to experience some of the consequences of our foolishness.  And what we are witnessing in Baltimore right now is just the start.  Eventually, we are going to see scenes like this all over the nation.

Thanks to social media, the violence that we saw in Baltimore on Monday is being broadcast to the entire planet.  The whole world is getting a really good look at what the decline of America looks like.  The following is how the New York Times described what took place…

Angry youths could be seen surrounding a police cruiser and smashing its windows in what police described as an organized attack by criminals — not demonstrators. Cars were set on fire, and stores’ windows were smashed in. Heavy smoke poured out of a CVS drugstore, which had earlier been overrun by looters. Several other businesses, including a liquor store and a check-cashing shop, were also looted.

You can find some incredible photos of looting in progress right here.  Do those young people believe that they are actually doing something constructive that will make a difference in our society?  Of course not.  They are opportunists that are taking advantage of the chaos to commit crime.

And you know what?  A lot of older African-Americans were absolutely disgusted by what they were seeing.  The following is just one example

Barbara Taylor, 60, has lived in the neighborhood near the store for 15 years. As she spoke, a group of teenagers carrying cases of soda and Arizona Iced Tea walked by. “All I can see is crime,” said Taylor. “The people doing this don’t live around here. They’re kids coming in to our neighborhood and breaking it apart. There is no reason for this.”

Of course the biggest targets on Monday were police officers.  It is becoming extremely dangerous to be a police officer in America today, and this is something that I wrote an entire article about recently.  During the violence on Monday, seven police officers were seriously injured.  At least some of the injured had broken bones, and one was described as being “unresponsive”

“We have seven officers who were injured during the course of this,” said Baltimore Police Capt. Eric Kowalczyk. “They have broken bones, one of them is unresponsive. This is not okay. Our officers went out to that situation to make sure that the people who live in that community were safe and we’re going to continue to do what we can to make sure that those people stay safe.

“It’s a group of lawless individuals,” Kowalczyk said of the rioters. “What we know is that they are a group of criminals with no regard for the people in the community.”

Later on Monday, we found out that a total of 15 police officers had received some sort of injury during the course of the day.  To say that the streets of Baltimore have become a “war zone” is not an overstatement in the least.

This is what America is becoming, and this is only just the beginning.  As I mentioned yesterday, I went on the record publicly regarding my belief that civil unrest was coming specifically to Baltimore during a speech I gave on the evening of April 11th.  That was about a week before Freddie Gray died.  But little did I know that it would start happening before the end of the month.  The following are some tweets that contain scenes from the violence that we witnessed on Monday…

Make sure to watch that last video.  It shows a man literally being dragged out of his store and ruthlessly beaten by a gang of young thugs.  Because of the decisions that we have made as a society, this is what the future of our country is going to look like.  This is something that I have been warning about for years, and now it is here.

So let us mourn for America, because the nation that so many of us love is slipping away a little bit more every single day.

  • Tatiana Covington

Maybe abortion is not such a bad idea, in certain neighborhoods.

    • MichaelfromTheEconomicCollapse

Tatiana that is really a horrible thing to say. Every human life is of immense value. Instead of hating others, we need to learn how to be people of great love. Saying things like you just said just perpetuates the cycle of violence.

      Michael

      • K

Michael as you saw with the last article, already a lot of hate out there. Man fast to judge, slow to show mercy.

        • MichaelfromTheEconomicCollapse

          That is very true K.

          • NowAlive

As the Good Book Says: Micah 6:8 He hath shewed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth the Lord require of thee, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with thy God?

      • Jack Frost

Hold that thought for when the mobs ravage your neighborhood, burn your vehicle and house, and injure your family and friends. you’ll certainly need it more then and they won’t have any similar such compunction while acting out! Ignoring reality doesn’t change it no matter how long you close your eyes or click your heels together.

        • Daystrom2012

“And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.” Matthew 24:12

          • tom

            ain’t that true!

        • Fed up

Jack, you are so correct. There is a large portion of our society that look at kindness as weakness. They will exploit your kindness for their benefit and then chew you up and spit you out.

        • Avner

There are some people when the swarm come to ravage their neighborhood, rape their wives, etc will wave a bible at them and hope for the best. Then there are others who will grab an HK 91 and drop em with every pull of a trigger and shoot the runners away in the back.

Which one are you? I know where I stand.. I won’t show mercy.

          • none

Has anyone thought that people, where finally protesting the foreign policy’s of Miss Clinton?
Stating a fire to burn down a building? One of the many uses of yellow cake uranium, that she approved the sale of? To our enemies, the Russians?
Or carrying an eight pack of toilet paper, what Miss Clintons policy’s are worth?

          • Alaskan

You NEVER shoot a human in the back, period.

          • Priszilla

Unless you are police in the US.

          • EgbertThrockmorton1

In Baltimore and in Ferguson, those police departments are entirely controlled by the Democratic Party Machine. Don’t like what the Democratic Party Cops do? Change it.

          • Priszilla

            Right. I’d vote green.

          • Gay Veteran

like when Republican Mayor Bloomberg was running NYC?

          • THusar

Wrong. Plus, if you do actually pull the trigger, you shoot them to the ground. Whether that takes 2 or 22 bullets, you shoot them to the ground.

          • Mike Smithy

That all depends on the totality of the circumstances and the heat of the moment. Ordinarily, I would say you are correct. However, if I walked in on a thug raping my wife or daughter, I would feel compelled to put the criminal down like a rabid dog, facing forward or facing away.

          • Avner

Why not? The only honor is in winning. Different strokes for different folks I guess. I intend on surviving. Hopefully your plan works out for you.

          • Alaskan

You’re right; ill only shoot people like you in the back.

          • K

To he who shows no mercy, no mercy will be shown. Just because a person is willing to show mercy, does not me he will not defend himself. But you already know that. You are just here to stir the pot. Just to see how much hate floats to the surface.

        • afchief

At least we know the book stores and work boot stores are safe!

        • Mary Brown

Mobs show up where I live they would be met with a wall of armed citizens. People need to quit relying on the cops and defend their own neighborhoods!

          • Gay Veteran

            AMEN

      • Jodie Lynn Gaeta

What Tatiana wrote is harsh, but it’s absolutely true. I think she has a lot of guts to come out and say it. And some human beings aren’t worth a pile of dog crap. Whether they’re white, black, or whatever. And if you don’t think so, why don’t you ask your God of the New Testament. I understand He’s getting ready to kill a few billion human beings in the near future.

        • franklind

That is true Jodie because anyone that is not a Christian will of course endure an eternity of horrific punishment in hell.

And not one Christian sees anything wrong with this belief.

          • Bossie

If you are the Creator, you are pure and Holy and cannot go against that else all creation are destroyed in an instant. That is the paradox, how do you save creation yet give human that was created in His image free will, giving them free will where they also can choose against destroying themselves, aka eat from the forbidden fruit, that fruit is knowledge of good and bad, aka realm where you can live as god without God because of His generosity and love for His creation, well He died in that realm and endured that isolation, being without God in hell in their place, He did not have to do that, He could’ve destroyed it all and redo it, even if He live in the third, fourth and up to the seventh heaven, dimensions higher than our universe of which we only know of stars in the counts of 70 000 000 000 000000 000 000 as viewed by huble up to now, you die in the first and second heaven, aka earth and give everyone a chance to accept that in their place, but to save creation, He has to destroy anti creation, is pretty simple to understand, put yourselves in His shoes, if you marry someone and give them free access to all your money, they blow it all, will you punish them. No He punished him-selves and gave a solution and respected the free choice, but to save the marriage, you have to choose the solution, if you are away from God’s power, you will die. Is not His fault that His power is keeping everything alive, but He cannot through our choice go against His own power, however He did die and went against it, so we have even after that a second chance, can see Him as the Creator. Think that is more than generous enough!

          • Gay Veteran

and yet according to you Christians all the non-Christians are going to h ell, even people who died 100s of year before Jesus

          • Swęrvë

Christ was for EVERYONE, the first “Christians” we’re jewish.

A better way to say what you think you’ve so intelligently discerned is that anyone who chooses to say no to gods gift will endure an eternity apart from Him, which would be punishment because all things separate from God is evil

          • Gay Veteran

“…anyone who chooses to say no to gods gift will endure an eternity apart from Him….”

really? even those who have never heard of Jesus? like those who died 100s of year before Jesus?

you’d think that if god was serious then Jesus would have been born in China

        • jaxon64

Actually this is a very ignorant statement. God will not kill the billions–man orchestrates the Tribulation and apocalyptic events to come–it is God who finally steps back and allows man to his own devices.
Ultimately, Christianity teaches that not a single human would remain if God does not step in and halt us as we destroy ourselves.
And as for you Franklind–Christianity does not believe that God sentences people to eternal damnation. God tells us through His Word that all people are offered eternal salvation for free and that all of the consequences of their sins are forgiven through Christ’s atonement on the cross. Ultimately it is masses of people who choose to spit in God’s face, mock God, twist His Word and scriptures, worship demonic Allah’s etc –these masses of rebellious humanity CHOOSE their eternal destiny–God just fulfills their wishes…you want nothing to do with God or Jesus Christ?–you will get as you wish, don’t blame your free willed decision on God.

          • Jodie Lynn Gaeta

A straightforward interpretation of the book of Revelation would not make that case. Rev.16:1 “to the seven angels, Go your ways, and pour out the vials of the wrath of God upon the earth”, Rev.6:16 “Fall on us,and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb”. The import is pretty clear.

          • franklind

People are just being what they were supposedly created to be human. To tempt your creation with knowledge and then curse them to eternal damnation seems more like the workings of a manipulative game player.

Not at all benevolent and loving as most would like to claim god is. God has to be both good and evil. Everything in nature has it’s counterpoint and balance. It is the way it is.

The garden of evil is just a metaphor and way to explain human suffering. A way to blame someone else for the terrible deeds we are all capable of (if given the right set of circumstances or situation).

Yes it’s my free will decision to choose to do good things or evil things. We all have the choice. It is not the devil. If christ died for us all it should be done and we should not have to be required to do anything more then just be human on this planet.

But with all religions there is always a catch. Always a reason to make us feel like we are terrible, horrible people who without god would surely turn even more rotten. I propose that this is just not true.

          • GSOB

We are all sinners. God is not obligated to save anybody.
In His mercy, He has provided a complete salvation in His Son, for many, but not for all.

          • Gay Veteran

the catch is that priests got to be paid

          • airedale

            Amen!

          • GSOB

“God tells us through His Word that all people are offered eternal salvation for free and that all of the consequences of their sins are forgiven through Christ’s atonement on the cross.”

This is not true in both testaments.

Christ died only for the elect. Because it was He who took on a body and became a sacrifice for sin, His death is sufficient to save everyone – however, the Scriptures teach that God is sovereign over who receives His mercy.

            Not everyone.

If He died for everyone then every one would eventually be saved, and we know …. that’s just not the case.

The narrative in the biblical account of history supports the fact that it is not really up to him that runs or of him that wills, or if one calls themselves a Jew,…. it don’t matter.

It is God who shows mercy on whomsoever He wills to show mercy and He hardens who He wants to harden.

Why does He still find fault you ask? What does Paul says in Romans 9:19, 20 basically…. who do you think you are? Don’t you know that God alone is God and He does whatever He wants?

The only thing that may come close to your explanation is that God calls everyone to repent. Acts 17:30 in light of a coming judgment.

But you need to square what you say by scripture and not human sentimentality.

            Look at John1:12>13

“But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.”

It is God himself who comes to the predestined, elect person, who is dead in their tresspases an sins towards God… it is He that quickens the sinners spirit out of mercy, not of him/her meriting or wanting it.

Neither should it preached as a

            promiscuously advertised

‘salvation’ or ‘love’ – that is available to anyone based on their own choosing.
That is a Satanic counterfeit that has been circulating throughout Christendome for centuries….

Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Now, having said all that…. God’s sovereignty in salvation applied to sinners does not do away with the sinners’
            will.
Fore it is God working in them causing them, sanctifying to Himself, to work out what He works in – all to the praise and glory of His grace.

Many are called, but few are chosen.

Not everyone who says to me Lord Lord, did we not ………. in your name?

Away from me you workers of lawlessness, fore I never knew you.

Only God knows the end from the beginning and whom He has chosen to be written in the book of life, written before the foundation of the world.
            See Ephesians 1:4-6
            Revelation 17:8 &
            19:15
A serious wake up call is what is required

          • ancientone

If by satan you mean man then yes satan is a liar and so are you and so am I and so is every single person on this planet. We are all so blinded by our need to be a part of a group (the right group we all incorrectly believe) that we have a bias against anyone who does not think or accept what we accept.

We are all so busy regurgitating from the bible, the koran, the quran or whatever religious book you subscribe too that we cannot see the forest for the trees. All have a salvation message for their people, the rest will burn. All believe their god is the one true god, the rest will burn. And on and on it goes.

The similarities in the books is too much of a coincidence that is cannot be anything other then a cruel and twisted joke played upon the entire population in order to keep us in our place and prevent us from seeking and finding out the truth.

Generations have been brainwashed by their parents and future generations will continue to receive the same brainwashing. Which in and of itself is a pretty brilliant plan indeed.

Let me guess GSOB you are one of the chosen one’s in your doctrine of predestination are you not? Ironic and funny how religious texts can make so many men’s brains twisted up with nonsense and divide people.

          • GSOB

Here is the fundamental difference between Christianity and all other religions,….
I’m a Christian but not by my choice. God called me into union with Christ.
Before that, I was like you,….
So…. grope for God and don’t worry about me.

          • Jean Deaux

So who originated the cruel and twisted joke and to what end? Who cares if we are kept in our place (by we I mean all our predecessors and successors). That was a really cruel joke??? I think is is much deeper than that. The one thing proven is man’s universal need for religion whether it it was the indians “great spirit”, or Christ or allah or buddah, etc. etc. If you believe yourself to be above all that, wander off into the darkness and good luck. But don’t disparage the rest of humanity.

      • Priszilla

Yet there is the death penalty in the US, Iran and China.

      • SunnyFlaSnotress

Pro Lifers never get the point that vast numbers of TRULY alive human beings are dying of starvation in comparison to non-birthed fetuses.
THEY are the pathetic murderers hiding behind a lamb’s cloak.

Michael, there are NOT enough jobs for living people.
Imagine if we had 40,000,000 more in our economy?

    • dontblamemeborn1981

Among African-American women who get pregnant, the percentage who choose to abort the baby is 52 percent, and among the remaining 48 percent who choose to give birth, 73 percent of the babies are born out of wedlock, so 0.27 X 0.48 = only 12.96 percent of conceptions among black women leading to a baby born to a married couple.

      • PK

Some monkeys have a better family structure.

        • tom

          Ha!

        • Priszilla

No animal is ever getting married. Marriage is totally unnatural.

          • airedale

It’s not unnatural. Many species of animals mate for life.

          • Priszilla

They mate but they don’t get married in church.

          • EgbertThrockmorton1

Animals do not have cognitive reasoning powers that humans do. So, Prizilla, just don’t go to church, worship yourself, it’s OK.

      • FortuneSeek3rz

And this is the primary problem in the black community but for some reason it gets very little coverage from black leaders. One of the most perplexing social dynamics I have ever come across.

    • T.

Dr. Josef Mengele had similar ideas about his community. What was the name of that community ………? Oh yes, Auschwitz.

    • Bossie

Sorry, but the problem is not birth of humans, it is humans choosing to follow humans as god and creating their own principalities causing other humans to suffer, since the inception of choosing to eat from the fruit of knowledge of good and bad, bad being able to choose living without the creator, problem is He is the creator and cannot choose against His own good aka creation power else all will be destroyed in an instant, birthing children that do not believe and respect His guidelines are the problem and is by our choice. If all return to God and follow His word and guidelines all will be fixed and He did die in our place so He can give us a chance before he destroys principalities that exist against His creation as it should and He can make us live forever again without destroying His creation like these people do.

      • Gay Veteran

and yet you Christians think that people who died 100s of years before Jesus are going to h ell

        • Bossie

Incorrect, any person that believed there is a God and believed he will reconcile mankind was saved before Christ and evidently the same after Christ, those whom have not heard His word but are pure of heart and seek the truth, it was also common knowledge those days about God and non God, though you are probably schooled in the perverted evolution based history and don’t know the history. Jesus died so we can be unchained, all who believed chose against the satanic system of enslavement, it is well evident that usury are the modern day of colonization and slavery, people are forced through wars to enslave themselves. it is also well known that organisations like the Mafia, Triads, Yakusa, and the list goes on are running drug money and are evidently by blood connected to the ruling class, just look at the Li family in China, the Rothchilds in England and the Rathskellers in america. It is however common knowledge that Nimrod, Hermes or Hermeticism the source of iniquity was through their choices to follow Luciferian alchemy.and Gnosticism and everyone who heard there is a God but bought into this, especially initiates in their secret societies, all of them would not have been saved. One of the Hermetic alchemy origins is the mind symbolized by mercury, this is the origins of Buhdism, Zoratoriasm and just about every false religion that existed on this planet. research and you shall find, Bill Cooper had a good series on it before he was murdered, just one example, in EVERY ancient culture there was a story about the big flood for instance, that include the chinese, Indians, Africans, Aboriginals, Celtics, Persians and more. He knowith thy heart, the bible said and also send His profits and spoke directly to people. I don’t think Job, Abraham, Noah, Enog or any person that looked for truth and believed there is a God and God will fulfill the given promise, a promise given to Adam and Eve already in Genisis. In fact it is estimated that Noah took 70 to 80 years to build the arc. Inn those days it was mainstream news, like the build of the empire one trade center building. Also in those days, unlike your believes in evolution you were told, the theory never proven but taught to kids as fact, the continents were one, that is pre-flood and mountains were virtually in-existent so communication were far more advanced. People lived hundreds of years due to the hyperbaric atmosphere hence every animal including humans was bigger as clearly evident in all fossils and theorized incorrectly as millions of years old. Listen to the Hoven theory and it all might make sense to you, so everyone KNEW the flood will take place, but no one believed God and scorned Noah in fact, especially the leaders of the time, read the book of Enog. It was well known that Satan perverted mans bloodline and also probably animal bloodlines as stated in Genisis, hence God had to stop the perversion. We are heading the same direction, with genetic modification actively done in China as inn recent posts and also genetic modification of plants etc. God will and shall destroy our efforts and also stop us from destroying ourselves, it already happened in the name of super wheet and cancer caused by GMO’s, fukushima necleur spill destroying the atlantic and more.

the fundamentalists do NOT agree with you

          • Bossie

Their choice what they believe, is called freedom of religion. I believe in NO human created organisation for all of them can be infiltrated, especially if you are in control of monney systems and the law. Thank you for clarifying your education, yet you reference at YOU CHRSITIANS when answering me you also highlighted your education on reality, could you perhaps elaborate a bit more and clarify what you mean by YOU CHRISTIANS, as we all know revelations spoke about the scarlot church from babylonian origins, was perverted by secret mystery organisational powers like gnostisism, I do not believe a man can be Vicar of the Sun or Jesus in person, I do not believe that the bible can be changed or edited as the book of mormon did, I do believe the protestant movement was and still is invaded by the scarlet of revelation and corrupted on a daily basis, I also do know calvyn had a seal he signed his document with, which was of the rosecrution order, they were of the knnights templars and they were bankers and DO NOT believe in God’s word. I know what I’ve studied over the years and I can assure you, the creator loves HIS creation more than anything or anyone in the Universe and Satan will try and follow and recreate his own illusion through mans believe in his own godly-hood and stamp it with his hermetic simbal, hense a phallic symbal of generative power, the symbol of Osiris in front or on every one of his illuminated power basis or false powerbases of control around the planet, the power that makes her drunk on the blood of the saints. I also know, many fundamentalist organisation started with the sign of the seal of the rosecrution or initiate school orders including the moslem religion, Mohammed as one of the fathers of illuminnation or rather hermetic belives of higher mind control in terms of becoming god oneselves through hardship, good works and belive in the SUN aka knowledge. Is presented as the truth, but is not the truth. Every organisation has a corner stone, good place to start. You don’t need a church, we ARE the church and God can face and communicate directly with us through His Holy Spirit if we accepted Jesus, and that is the truth! Lastly Genesis 3:15 “And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.” It means literally we will have WARS against power bases, areas of ruling elite where mans knowledge created a Godly plain of control, and in this war our heels will be bruised aka we will walk and live in pain. Satans seed is human as god and our seed is our lively-hood and continuation of mankind. It is our choice to be go without God that cause these people to destroy the city, to have wars, all the chaos. In my studies, these are actively promoted through mottos like Order through Chaos by satanic controlled societies and they are all over the planet and in governments. The world financial system is one such example, it is privately owned by a small group of families, it is not anymore backed by securities or concrete assets, it is backed by USERY and Gambling of our future, your childrens future and we allowed these organisations to do that. This is where we have to crush the head of the serpant over and over again and walk in pain with the blood spilled in the process and rebuilding again, makes sense? The serpant knows this and provide the solution through revolutions and new organisation tesseracts that is without God and without truth but look like truth, these are the generative power of creation symbolised by these phallic monuments, there is one on kenedies grave!

Actually the reason you see evidence of other races of people being quite larger than those of our generation is because there was another generation of people created before they were destroyed. They were called homosapiens. We are homosapien sapiens. An off shoot of that race, but different.

          • Bossie

Half correct, but not entirely as these are false classifications not taking into account changes on earth post flood. It is well documented that Fallen angles had human offspring and that was the main reason for Noah’s ark, aka society have rejected their God was the interference in earthly matters by the fallen knowledge. Also that humans changed since the beginning so did the earth. Every animal was larger and became older, so did humans. It is also known that Nimrod had genes from that offspring via one of the daughters hence the giant nations did exist post-flood, hence the build of Babylonia and the tower of Babylon. It is known that Lamek like Noah was aware of the flood as God did warn everyone the flood will happen and buried knowledge about Geometry, Masonry and Blacksmith (his 3 son’s craft learned from fallen angels) in two pillars that will survive fire and water. These were found by Hermes, or thrice greatest also in Egypt known as Tehuti or Throth. Apollonas of Thesis is known to find these tablets. We also know the Dionysian artificers continued this craft, they also build Solomon’s temple. Because earth had less oxygen post flood humans simply lived shorter lives and became smaller. Most giants and remnant of giants were also killed by wars (well documented of wars by Hebrews against giants etc) or by smaller humans. Neandrals were nothing but humans that lived very long, your eyebrow bones keeps on growing till you die, so your nose and your ears, quite evident in their remnants. So I don’t believe the nonsense taught by the initiates using Darwinian lies.

Look at it any way you wish , however the majority of looters were black. What the betting that most recieve welfare of some sort, have done nothing at all for the society that they live in, will blame thier failure in life on everybody, except themselves. In short parasites, who are only waitng for any chance to steal from hard working people. Now what is so wrong with at least sterilisation for them, ?

      • Blacks=Plague

Phil you are spot on my friend. We have been dealing with that useless burden of a race ever since they were brought over here by the jews. History of course doesn’t tell that part. Sterilization would take to long to weed them out. I would prefer we just send them all to Africa and any whites that support their existence with them. That is really the only answer besides just killing them. I wouldn’t be opposed to that either:)

  • Bill

I’m afraid Baltimore is just the start of the collapse of law and order and the economy. It is all by design just as the truth is unveiled with Walmart in Midland Texas.

    • Nemnor

The worsening situation and the coming economic collapse are NOT by design. Rather, these are the symptoms of decadent world-wide Capitalism, that has reached a “dead end”, and is NOT able to generate long-term recovery by economic means alone.

The world-wide capitalist system has been in an on-going crisis since late-60s/early-70s (i.e. the end of the “reconstruction boom’ following WW-II and when most of the leading capitalist countries began to “catch up” to the USA and compete with the USA for the limited world’s market and resource).

The capitalist system, by NATURE, is ultimately an unsustainable economic system and has reached the stage of general over-production. Hence, the reason the system can now only create weak JOBLESS “recovery” that can hardly last for more than a few years.

The permanent solution is a fundamental change away from Capitalism to a sustainable alternative system that addresses the ABUNDANT needs of the “rational” individual (and not just of “the 1%”).

      • Mike Smithy

Give it a rest Nenmore, you sound like a broken record on your misguided view that Capitalism is the problem. The real problem is Fascism and the decadent notion of entitlement. Lastly, the unbridled implementation of Keynesian economic theory has destroyed any chance of real economic recovery.

        • Nemnor

Mike Smithy, the TRUTH will always sound like a broken record, because, in essence, the truth never changes.

But a LIE, if it is always told, will also sound like a broken record. YOU are misguided into NOT realizing that manifestations like Fascism or “…unbridled implementation of Keynesian economic theory…”, are really Capitalism in it’s DECADENT forms.

You are not yet aware that there is not “real”/”pure” Capitalism to go back to. That Capitalism already passed it’s progressive stage and can only now DECLINE towards total collapse/chaos.

          • Genada

It’s not a failure of capitalism. It’s a failure of a nation to call a spade a spade. Our business community and political leadership has sold out the country. No one dares to call it what it is, treason.

It’s not capitalism to not be able to fail. Your mixing up capitalism with fascism. We have a fascist system that is always working towards the interest of a power elite that do not care for the citizens of this country.

Capitalism is the answer to our problems. Capitalism is liberty. It is the ability to fail. It is the ability to succeed. Failure or success both being based off of merit.

          • Lugnut Capp

God needs to destroy satan now

          • Bill

          • Nemnor

Genada, you can continue to imagine a “real/’pure” Capitalism that you hope the USA can go back to.

However, in time you too will come to realize that, Capitalism (“real”/”pure” or not), has already passed it’s rising/progressive stage and is indeed at a “dead end”, and would NOT carry the Human Race into a prosperous future for all.

Ultimately, an ABUNDANT future for every “rational’ individual, is the ONLY condition upon which the Human Race will survive. The alternative is continuous wars along with environmental and economic collapse.

Capitalism (“pure”/”real” or not) can NOT provide that ABUNDANT future that every “rational” individual wants.

          • GSOB

No system can provide what you propose. Resources are limited.
            Capitalism is what you despise.
            That is clear.
            Your slant against capitalism is
            is to your own demise.
Your goal is to get others to agree with you on what you describe as capitalism, which is not capitalism at all.
You are just bent on some utopia system that is abundant for everyone but fail to see that there is nothing you can come up with other than to be sure to satisfy your own needs.
There is no such system. So, please save your phoney capitalism in all your descriptive stages of what you say it is, but isn’t – for someone that will follow your misguided conclusions, that have not drawn their own yet. Try a leftist website.

capitalism died with 4 words: Too Big To Fail

        • tacoma

The alternative to U.S. style of fundamentalist capitalism is not fascism or communism. China has proven beyond any doubt that its mixed brand of ‘state directed’ capitalism has performed far superior (for itself) than America’s. Other SE Asia style of capitalism have superior performance as well. Look no further than Canada to see its brand of capitalism performing a sustainable wonder. Many northern European states have their brand of ‘socialized’ capitalism which has resulted in their people having a high standard of living and tops the world in happiness. American style of capitalism is today on the road to failure as measured by standard of living, employment and happiness.

          • Priszilla

Don’t mix politics with economics. Capitalism is an economic system, characterised by two major classes – those who own the means of production and those who own nothing.
Politics can be varied as culture and tradition.

          • Mike Smithy

Politics and economics go hand-in-hand. In addition, the backbone of successful Capitalistic economies are small business owners who possess some means of production, creativity, marketing and resourcefulness. It’s not an all or nothing paradigm.

          • Priszilla

Yes cars and petrol stations come together and depend on each other, yet they are totally different things.

          • Nemnor

tacoma, while varying forms of ‘state/collective’ Capitalism (like Cuba, North Korea) or ‘state managed/directed’ Capitalism (like China, and to a lesser extent – Canada) or ‘socialized/welfare’ Capitalism (like some northern European states), may share some insight on what may or may not work, IF the entire world have a fundamental and genuine change away from capitalism, ALL these varying forms of Capitalism are ultimately doomed to fail without a fundamental (and complete) change away from Capitalism, to a sustainable alternative system that addresses the ABUNDANT needs of the “rational” individual (and NOT just of “the 1%”).

Places like Canada, China and Northern Europe are ultimately NOT sustainable, because Capitalism is still the fundamental base of these economies – which will “compel” every leading ‘national capital’ to ‘aggressively’ compete at the international level (the main ‘stuff’ that World Wars are made from).

Some leading states like China would “win” (for a while), but ONLY because other leading states MUST fail (so that others can “win”) and while lesser/underdeveloped states seem to remain in perpetual underdevelopment and poverty – due to the LIMITED worlds market and the LIMITED world’s resource.

Hence, in order to avoid eventual total collapse, countries like China, Canada, Cuba, etc. (the WHOLE World, in fact) MUST eventually have a genuine and complete change away from Capitalism, to a sustainable alternative system.

          • tacoma

While I respect your position I won’t go as far as you to say capitalism, in all of its forms, is doomed to failure. Where to apply the principles of capitalism, how to apply, and how to regulate, are all critical.

USA in recent years have removed much regulations and applied it to a broad sector including parts of the government itself (such as outsource parts of the military and security to private for-profit firms). The result is what we see now. Wealth have been transferred to the supply-side, to the corporations, to Wall Street money men, to the top 1% who now owns 50%. So actually capitalism works wonderfully given America’s policies. The social side is blowing up, but this too is by policy choice.

      • Bill

Most of the 1% have manipulated by design and have given capitalism a bad reputation. The welfare system is the bottom side of capitalism that decays the middle class work ethic.

Two centuries ago, a somewhat obscure Scotsman named Tytler made this profound observation: “A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the majority discovers it can vote itself largess out of the public treasury. After that, the majority always votes for the candidate promising the most benefits with the result the democracy collapses because of the loose fiscal policy ensuing, always to be followed by a dictatorship, then a monarchy.”

From an unknown blog commentator: “The Age of
Liberal Disillusionment and Decay are upon us, liberalism has perverted, poisoned and polluted everything it touches. Government, economics, media, entertainment, social norms, family, education, religion, everything…And the nation suffers with debt ,division, despair, decay, deranged individuals, dope, drug abuse, degeneracy, depravity and in the end the nation will suffer NATIONAL DISASTER..”

        • EgbertThrockmorton1

Ours never has been a “democracy”, it only is a Constitutional Republic, BIG difference. WE, the Sheeple, have allowed this political infection to fester until now, major critical surgery is required to fix what ails us as as Nation.

        • Nemnor

Heisenberg, real democracy can never exist within a Capitalist system. It was always – he who has the gold makes the rules. Hence, it was always the bunch of Capitalist (generally “the 1%”) that actually controlled society (just like it is in the USA and all over the world today).

What Tytler observed (or imagined was happening) is a futile attempt at democracy in a system that simply can NOT allow genuine democracy without the system negating itself – i.e. ONLY with a fundamental change away from Capitalism can there be any chance of GENUINE democracy. And with that fundamental change there would also be a corresponding change in the mindset of the masses.

Under a GENUINE democratic system (which NEVER existed in Capitalism), I would trust in the “collective intelligence” of the people to think and act in a way that is for the “greater good”.

      • Bossie

It was not and never was christianity that went to war, it was fake christianity, Sun worshiping aka mystery religion that invaded and shadowed every truth since the solution by God for His reconciliation was given. The reason are that you, not believing in God need to survive in a realm where man is his own god and co-exist with people that do believe in God and accepted Jesus as the savior. It is these movements controlled by money and the God mammon since the beginning that created wars, cause God to take away powers and knowledge so we have to work instead of live, live 100 years and not for eternity like we would’ve. You have that choice, your choice if against God will be a principality and if that principality go against His creation power and destroy the creation or corrupt it, He needs to destroy it to save creation, though He respect free will and destroyed Himself in death and isolated from His own power in this realm so you have time to choose for Him, but ultimately, if He removes His power from you, you suffer and die, He cannot help that He is the Creator. If you don’t look after your house, nature will take it back, His glory works the same. So please don’t blame Him, he was more than generous enough to kill Himself to give you a second chance.

We are gods. Out emotions exhibit every single emotion god has in the bible. Anger, jealously, hatred, love, kindness, patience, longsuffering, mercy. You and only you have the choice to do what is right and help others or hurt others. We have so much power it is pretty scary how we use it willy nilly and do not even give it a second thought most of the time.

          • Bossie

Well observed, your believes I believe is well covered in Genesis chapter one to three. We have the image of God and creative power and were instructed to rule the earth with Him, but we are cursed in that we will through our iniquity and believe we are GODS and don’t need HIM that we endure all the pain and suffering today, was a simple choice, being god without God is not possible, it will cause devastation exactly as you see around you, were are created in the image of God and are NOT GODS. That is the iniquity, the believe we can be GODS without GOD. And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel (Genesis 3:15). Have you ever walked with a bruised heel, is painful. In crush thy head he means you shall fight wars against iniquity all the time and it shall bruise your walk of life. Was not God’s choice, was ours. “You have brought him a little lower than The Angels. You have placed glory and honor on his head and you have authorized him over the works of your hands.” (Hebrews 2:7) He did however provide the solution in Jesus Christ. a good reference creation.com/made-in-the-image-of-god

            No we are gods.

          • Bossie

No We are not God’s, we are created in God’s image. If we were we could fix problems by mere speech and it will happen. There are allot of people that think they are god since the beginning of time, simbolise by the generative force simbol aka phallic simble in front of every power house in the planet (white house, Rome, London ….), even Kennedy’s grave. It is because of humans thinking they are gods that we cannot live in the garden of eden anymore and the earth is destroyed, the recent Fukushima incident that destroys our oceans are an example. Yes we have allot of power and the power is used to destroy by self illumination rather than create and rule over the creation with God, hence why we don’t live that long anymore and will live shorter lives, deal with problems like above and have drugs in our kids schools, all this until God’s judgement, after which He will restore our ability to live long again and only do good in the New Jerusalem.

The anger around the country is coming from the fact that the police are being used as a force to enforce illegitimate laws that are being used to raise funds for a government that is viewed as illegitimate.

We have a system that no one can hold in anything but contempt. One group commits a crime and the entire force of law is throw at them. A different group commits a crime and nothing is done to them. The lack of justice in our system fuels the anger and leads to these things.

For anyone that wishes to claim there is justice in our country please explain how Freddie Gray is a worse offender of the law then John Corzine. One’s dead and the other is still a respected member of the community. Who of the two really harmed more people?

Resisting police almost guarantees some kind of injury. What are police supposed to do? Stop enforcing order? The onus in every one of these incidents is on stupid. And since you can’t fix stupid you have to stop it. Which is what police exist to do.

      • Genada

Injury yes, death no. The amount of force being used is far out of proportion to what is needed.

The real problem is that there is far too much of a opportunity to have a interaction with the police. There’s too many laws. The legal code needs to pruned a great deal to reduce the interactions people are having with police and that would help solve a large amount of these problems.

Too many laws also goes hand in hand with the fact that much of a police officers work today has to do with tax farming citizens for micky mouse violations of the law.

You maybe not able to fix stupid but you can start to work on fixing a justice system that fails to provide anything that resembles justice.

not like we haven’t seen the video of the cops beating the guy who stole a horse despite the fact that he was laying on the ground waiting to be arrested

          • afchief

Ahhhh…..more proof that liberalism truly is a mental disorder!!!! Go back to packing fudge. It’s the only thing you are good at.

          • Gay Veteran

don’t you have a cop’s boot to lick? soon it will be on your throat.
and nice of you to have your dog in your photo, pets are so important

          • Jean Deaux

For sure. I am scared to death everytime a cop stops me because there is a possibility that he will beat me. Take a break, cool off and try to think sensibly.

The guy that stole the horse should have been glad it wasn’t 100 years earlier. They used to swing horse thieves, he only got thumped.

          • Gay Veteran

hey Einstein, the police are supposed to OBEY the law like the rest of us.

but I forgot, that magic blue uniform means they can do whatever they want

          • Jean Deaux

That was probably why he took off running like a scared deer and wouldn’t obey any police orders. After all, a broken stop light is a very serious violation. So why was he running: the most obvious reaction of an offender of some sort.? Purely stupid! How was the cop to know what he had done? You get all eaten up with stupid, you may have to pay the price. Who did he think he was to ignore the cop? Some pay the price sooner than others.

          • Gay Veteran

“…Who did he think he was to ignore the cop? Some pay the price sooner than others.”

OR he thought the cop was going to beat him down.

but you won’t speak up until the police boot is on your throat

        • Jean Deaux

I have to take exception with the thought that our justice system fails to provide justice. The number of bonafide criminals in custody today refutes your claim. True, there are a few that are mistakenly in custody but they are both black and white. It seems to me that many blacks feel they should be able to do anything they want and resent getting caught and jailed. If they do the crime, they should expect to do the time and stop the posturing about “injustice”. I do agree that the number of laws on the books could be reduced considerably.

          • Genada

It fails to provide justice when certain groups are exempt from the law and other groups are subject to every law.

One man will go to jail for years for theft but a different man that steals billions faces no penalty. How can that be a just system? How can anyone feel anything but contempt for that system?

In Washington treason is done on a daily basis, yet goes unpunished. On Wall Street fraud, theft, bribery, and many other great crimes are committed on a daily basis, all unpunished.

The law has turned into a weapon to be used on the lower classes of society to both rob them and to maintain control. It’s unjust and deserves no respect.

          • Jean Deaux

Wonder what Madoff thinks about that comment? I think he got life and he apparently was in control of vast amounts of money.
Speaking of treason brings up faux pres obama. Hard to jail anyone for treason as long as this traitor is walking around loose. But then he is a darling of the NWO elite so no one will lay a finger on him. Now if you can figure out a way to jail the NWO elite, let me know.

          • Gay Veteran

“I have to take exception with the thought that our justice system fails to provide justice….”

see a lot of banksters in jail?

        • Gay Veteran

“…My solution is simply this: every time a police department loses an excessive force or wrongful death case and has to pay out money, that money should come from their local police union’s pension fund. And by law, these losses cannot be refilled with taxpayer funds.

Every single time a judgment is made against that department and the union pension is reduced, the retired and currently-serving officers will have to decide for themselves if they should keep the indicted officer or officers on the force who lost the pension all that money. Or decide if training and policies need to be adjusted.

I guarantee you that with the incentive to train and behave properly and lawfully now resting with the police itself, rapid behavior and training modification would result….”

Moreover, I see no reason why the citizens of any given municipality should be on the hook for repeated violations by any public servant or office….”

          • Jean Deaux

Ohh yeah. That will only encourage an indolent, self indulging group of opportunists to really cut loose on looting and robbing with the police too worried to do anything about it. Brilliant! Far better to bust some of the troublemakers heads with a billyclub and let them think about their situation in the cooler for the term of their sentence. I can see no reason to go soft on thugs, many with a rap sheet as long as your arm. I’m tired of looking out for the criminals; who is watching out for the business owners and innocent citizens who are vandalized. You commit a crime of theft, shop lifting, violence, etc. you have forfeited any coddling by cops, and don’t squawk about getting your head busted. Knockout games are another crime. It is why I now carry concealed. If I see a pack of scum approaching with unclear objectives, old slab sides is waiting and she is a great equalizer in a gang attack. To hell with the criminals “rights”. I’ve got my own to think about! Nuff said!

          • Gay Veteran

“…You commit a crime of theft, shop lifting, violence, etc. you have forfeited any coddling by cops, and don’t squawk about getting your head busted…To hell with the criminals “rights”. I’ve got my own to think about! Nuff said!”

spoken like a true fascist. you won’t complain until the police boot is on your throat

          • Jean Deaux

What’s your alternative? “Please don’t run away”. If he stops, coax him into handcuffs and get him a court date where some liberal judge is likely to turn him loose back on the streets so he can commit more crime. But you’ll not be accused of being a fascist.

I’ll take my chance with a police boot rather than your criminal with a rap sheet as long as your arm being loose again knowing he is immune from prosecution.

          • Gay Veteran

hey Einstein, a cop doesn’t get to MURDER someone.
and don’t give me that “liberal judge” BS, we have more people in prison than Communist China

      • Democrat+Republican=Oligarchy

Resisting police by running away doesnt deserve to be shot in the back while running. Getting beat to death or mutilated while handcuffed and under control is not proper way to treat people. These cops are sick Fu cks and get off on treating people bad.

        • Mary Brown

Only a small percentage of cops are bad. And until autopsy reports are released we do not know how the dude broke his neck. Did he have some neck issues prior to arrest that were then made worse by being slammed around in a car? The cops screwed up badly by not seat belting him in and they will pay for it. The cop who shot the guy in the back is in a jail cell and will likely see a 20 year + sentence. Bad cops get taken down all the time.

And participate in your local government, they are the ones in charge of the local police. If you know of a bad cop get enough people together to force them to fire that person. If the city council refuses fire the city council. We did it where I live. The cop we had(real small town, 1 cop) was making deals with DHS without approval and we had enough. Over 100 people packed a city council meeting and demanded he be fired or we fire them and we had recall petitions in hand with enough signatures to force an election the next week. Cop was called into the meeting and fired on the spot. We also flat out told them to not rehire him, with fewer than 300 people in town we have no need for a cop. We self police for the most part, drug dealers find themselves not welcome very rapidly when angry parents confront them at gunpoint. For the few times we do need a co the sheriff can show up.

          • Democrat+Republican=Oligarchy

Yes that is all fine and dandy but policing and courts are for profit corporations that make money off theft and making peoples lives miserable. They prey upon the weak and poor. They know the poor cant get lawyers to get out of trouble. Thats why the rich can buy justice and billionaire bankers get away with slap on the wrists and fines after they ruin 1000s to millions of lives.

A cop can do lots and lots of damage to a city or society. They can ruin so many lives and hurt or kill so many before justice is finally served. The courts and Just-Us system is stacked against the people.
The Judge- paid by the state
The DA or prosecutor-paid by the state
Witness against you(police officer(s)) – paid by the state
Court appointed attorney – paid by the state

The state vs you, they got us by the balls here. There is no justice in America.

          • Mary Brown

Justice is not rioting! Justice is not blaming everyone but yourself for being a thug!

I posted elsewhere we need to end for profit prisons, they demand prisoners to be kept full and if they are not they demand public money to cover losses. We need to take them back and have them run by government. Go through and boot out all non-violent forst time pot offenders for starters. That is an issue that can be handled at local levels not the prison system

          • Gay Veteran

“Only a small percentage of cops are bad…Bad cops get taken down all the time….”

            when there is a video

        • EgbertThrockmorton1

Except that in Ferguson and in Baltimore, the Democratic Party Machine has long controlled BOTH departments, and no one is howling about their lack of leadership and management oversight. That is the real reason this crap happens all the time in Democratic Controlled cities.

          • Democrat+Republican=Oligarchy

Yes blacks and democrats ruin lots of things with their PROGRESSIVE agendas. Many blacks put themselves into the situations they have become entangled in. Crime in their teens, felons before 18. Bad parenting is mostly the cause of black criminals. Lack of male role model or a hoe-ass mother with 4 kids with 4 different dudes.

          • Gay Veteran

“progressive” agenda like shipping MILLIONS of American jobs to China, India, Vietnam, Mexico, etc.?

          • Democrat+Republican=Oligarchy

NAFTA and TPP will do that and will allow many jobs to be stolen from within our country as well

          • Gay Veteran

so this crap doesn’t happen in non-democrat controlled cities?

“…A Democrat before seeking elective office, Bloomberg switched his party registration in 2001 to run for mayor [of New York City] as a Republican….”

          • EgbertThrockmorton1

I challenge your notion that Bloomberg isn’t a hardcore Progressive Democrat. While he “changed” his party affiliation for his own personal agenda, NONE of his actions while in office, reflected a single conservative belief. His own actions are verifiable and public record. Bloomberg is no conservative and NOT a Republican. Yes, these riots DO only occur in cities that have been “led”(mismanaged) by Leftist/Progressive/Marxist/Democrats.

          • Gay Veteran

yesterday Gerald Celente held up the Wall Street Journal, next to a photo of Baltimore burning was a story about Obama pushing for a new “free trade” pact.

            get it yet?

          • EgbertThrockmorton1

Your point is what exactly? You watched the news? Good for you, you get a cookie. That little tidbit you posted has nothing to do at all with the culpability of the failed Liberal/Progressive/Marxist/Union policies for the cities they’ve failed to lead, manage and control. Your emotions are leading you astray, see my post in the shrill hysteria of your single ideology political religious beliefs.

          • Gay Veteran

you sound like a republican SHILL.
where were the republicans when millions of American jobs were shipped overseas? oh, that’s right, they vote FOR “free trade”, just like the scumbag democrats

        • Jean Deaux

Who gave a suspect the right to run away? If they refuse an order to stop, it is up to the officer to stop them, one way or the other. Too bad they didn’t get that message growing up.

          • Democrat+Republican=Oligarchy

Who gave police the right to have power and control over our lives? I didn’t sign any contract agreeing to do business with their corporation. They are road pirates and revenue generators. They thieve money from people and ruin peoples lives for profit. The war on drugs is a failure. Its all for corporate profiteering. The police violate the constitution over and over and over. They will harass you and try to make every traffic stop into a crime scene and see if you have any pot on you or something stupid and try to violate your 4th and 5th amendment rights.

The suspect if running away is no threat to the cops life. If he had no weapon there is no threat. If a cop shoots an unarmed person in the back while running the cop is a criminal and murderer. Sure its usually best to go along with what the police say but cops are bullies and want to intimidate you into resisting so they can get off on beating you down or killing you.

          • Gay Veteran

the police are modern day highwaymen:

“A highwayman was a thief and brigand who preyed on travelers….”

          • Jean Deaux

You want to experience highwaymen, go to many of the middle eastern countries. They’ll steal your load, you get a bullet in the head and they leave you for the vultures. But the cops won’t bother you and I know you find that so very important. Different strokes for different folks.

          • Gay Veteran

guess you haven’t heard about asset forfeiture where the cops get to steal your money

          • Gay Veteran

oh, so now you get the death penalty from running away from a traffic stop due to busted out brake light?

            pathetic

      • Nemnor

The PRIMARY function of the Police is to serve as the violent arm of the Ruling Class (i.e. “the 1%”), and all other apparent reasons the police exist is secondary to that primary function.

Hence, the reason the police is used to violently stop even a “peaceful” demonstration, or arrest someone without any (credible) charge, and once in a while, even murder someone for their political views.

        • Jean Deaux

Balderdash!!! What a twisted mind you wound up with.

          • Gay Veteran

            face the facts darling.

Rising Police Aggression A Telling Indicator Of Our Societal Decline

“…It’s time to face some uncomfortable ideas about the state of civilization in the United States. This country is no longer the beacon of freedom illuminating a better way for the world. Why not? Because it has ceased to be civilized.

The recent spate of police brutality videos and the complete lack of a useful or even sane response by the police unions is shaping my writing here. But it goes well beyond those incidents and extends into all corners of the lives of US citizens now, as police abuse is only one symptom of a much deeper problem…

If the tactics and gear of the police in Ferguson looked military that’s because they were. The purpose of APC’s and m4 assault rifles is to go into dangerous battles and kill the other side first so you can survive.

I believe that one’s training and mindset are critical determinants of what happens next. It should really not surprise anyone that a militarized mindset accompanied by specialized training and hardware has led to scenes like the one we saw in Ferguson, among many other places over the past several years.

I wanted to find out if the assertion of the above article was true. Had US police agencies really trained with the Israelis?

The answer is yes, beginning over a decade ago. Note that US police have been training for a domestic terrorist threat that has been almost completely non-existent, well below the statistical threshold that would seem to justify such advanced training and tactics…”

        • Jean Deaux

And then there is the Fed govt and obama’s personal military which he stated he wanted to be bigger and better armed than the armed forces of this nation. Billions of military rounds of ammunition, armored vehicles, thousands of caskets and millions of emergency rations might give credence to his claim. He no doubt has designs on filling his manpower requirements from some of the millions of illegal immigrants who have no love for this country or any of its citizens. And we’re sitting here waiting for this puppet to act on the orders of his NWO superiors to set this all in motion. Stupid is as stupid does and until we can come up with a counter force, we’re sitting around like crows on a telephone line.

    • Jodie Lynn Gaeta

You are right, but consider the fact that in Fairfax, VA, on Monday evening there was a protest against the killing of John Geer, an unarmed man shot by police- in full view of his neighbors and family- in front of his home. The shooting, which occurred in August 2013, was followed by much stonewalling by the Fairfax County Police. That same police department was sued several years ago for fatally shooting another unarmed man, whose family received $2 million from the county. There were no riots. As noted by Mr.Snyder, these looters and gang members don’t care about Freddie Gray or his family. They found an excuse to wreak havoc, because that’s their idea of fun. And then there’s the racial self-pity with the stupid slogan “Black Lives Matter”. In the examples I have mentioned, both victims were white. Do their lives not matter? You cannot attribute these riots to injustice. There are a lot of angry people in America who hate injustice, but they not running amok. They are demonstrating peacefully, appealing to their elected representatives, writing letters to the local paper. The thuggery going on in Baltimore is inexcusable.

      • Blacks=Plague

        EXACTLY!!!

      • Rukander

” In the examples I have mentioned, both victims were white. “

          • Gay Veteran

which goes to prove that the police are willing to beat, taze, shoot, and murder anyone

      • Genada

I am not excusing them but I will not condemn them either.

In the white community the reaction is different because when something occurs it’s out of the norm. In the black community they are being targeted by the police and they feel as if they are under occupation. That they can be killed or injured at any time for little to no reason.

When we see a college team win a title game we often see riots and some looting. No one then attempts to condemn all college students or treat it as if it’s a national crisis. When people get in groups, you will always have some who want to cause trouble.

The amount of people that were looting, that were rioting were the minority. The majority were not, the majority were peaceful, have been peaceful and been attempting to get reform with the methods you discuss.

All lives do matter and it’s not just police killing and injuring people that should be the issue. The larger issues in this are all being ignored and they are not race issues. Is it worth it to destroy someone’s life over a joint? Over other minor crimes? Do we really need to be locking up all the people that we are? Is it really ok to issue large fines to people, they will be unable to pay for minor offenses? The problem is the system.

        • Mary Brown

Why are blacks targeted? Because they bring it on themselves by committing crime at a rate 7-10 times that of whites per capita. Clean up your act, clean up your city, toss out the gangs and drug dealers and guess what? You won’t see the cops anywhere near as much!

Police respond to calls in those neighborhoods. They are ASKED to come there then other blacks whine about it because it cuts into their ability to commit crime!

          • Antonio Ossa

YOU ARE JUST ONE IGNORANT PERSON OF MANY!

          • Antonio Ossa

IGNORACE IS ONLY WANTING TO BELIEVE WHAT YOU BELIEVE!

        • Nemnor

          “…The problem is the system…”.

          Exactly!!

It is a decadent and decaying system (in the USA and world wide) that has reached a “dead end”. A system that has been in an on-going economic crisis since late-60s/early-70s, and is now NOT able to generate long-term recovery by economic means alone.

The current system is on a continuous decline towards total collapse/chaos (as the system is ultimately unsustainable), and by it’s very nature, the system can only provide true abundance for a relative shrinking minority (“the 1%”) and can NOT carry the Human Race into a prosperous future for all.

Eventually, it will become clear to every honest observer that, the permanent solution (the ONLY solution) is a fundamental change away from the current socioeconomic system, to a sustainable alternative system that addresses the ABUNDANT needs of the “rational” individual (and just of “the 1%”).

          • Hair of the Dog

Whatever gave you the idea that you are entitled to a “prosperous future”. No one is; only the chance to earn a prosperous future for yourself. It is not a guarantee and will only be achieved by the very able and determined part of the society that gets off their duff and puts out a superior product. Stop whining and start producing or you’re going to wind up out on the front swing, living off welfare and bitching about how hard life is. I really don’t want to hear it!

YOU ARE NOT LIVING IN THE REAL WORLD!

doesn’t explain the banksters and other corporate scum, does it?

As Gerald Celente says, the fish rots from the head down. We now have war criminals in charge, banksters who committed massive fraud and escaped punishment, etc.

          • Jean Deaux

I’m not talking about uber rich bankers like the Rothschilds or Rockefellers but rather about people like Warren Buffet, or Bill Gates who have managed to make money from their entrepreneurial skills or management brilliance. I have forgotten the number of billionaires and millionaires currently in our economy but it is significant. I’d like to have that sort of money but I’m not smart enough to make it. Woe is me. Guess I’ll just have to suffer along with the 99.99+% that are in my boat. I live in a warm house, get enough to eat and can get patched up by the medics when I catch a whack. I can pay my bills (as long as i don’t get extravagant) and am very thankful for my good fortune in my old age. What more can the seething masses of humanity want in their old age? But I started planning and working many years ago to make it happen.

Some shysters have done far better by being less than scrupulous but I don’t envy them their good fortune. I can look at myself in the mirror in the morning without shame or pity. I exerted myself when I was younger and it paid off and I have never stolen or given less than a dollars work for a dollars pay.

Don’t tell me it can’t be done, I remember a black fellow that put 5 kids through college by “lumping” truck trailers (loading and unloading them for $40.00 a trailer) He could do two a day and although it was hard work he persevered. Hats off to him!

I become very tired of the lazy that don’t want to exert themselves and expect everything to be dropped in their lap and when it doesn’t happen, blame someone else for their “hardship”.

          • Gay Veteran

Warren Buffet? he’s an insider like Soros and the Koch brothers

        • EgbertThrockmorton1

Like in ALL of the other cities that have exploded into race riots, using the claim of Police Brutality/Occupation as an excuse, every single city has LONG been controlled by the Democratic Party Machine in that area, including, and especially their police departments. So, instead of blaming the police department, why is there no accountability to the City leadership for their obvious mismanagement and lack of leadership and no oversight on their own City Employees? In every single city where “riots” have occurred, in the last 100 years, those cities have been exclusively controlled/managed/led by Democratic Party hacks only. The electorate deserves the Police Department their elected leaders “provide” to them. Don’t like what happened to Freddie Gray? Find out WHY there is the lack of supervision within a Black led department.(and it’s been that way for decades in Baltimore) Not excusing the murder of Freddie Gray, and I believe it was indeed murder, but the “leadership” in Baltimore deserves ALL the accountability for the departments they themselves created and have LONG mismanaged.

          • sharonsj

I found a listing for three separate race riots in Texas since 2009. Texas is solidly Republican.

          • EgbertThrockmorton1

I posted “cities” not states, huge difference, and those three separate Texas cities were and are still controlled by the Democrats. Texas is not “solidly” Republican, that’s a misinterpretation either by omission or commission. Look it up. I did. Huge difference, the riots in cities in the USA are only in Democratic Party controlled cities.

        • slcocker

Could it be that blacks are being targeted by police in those areas, because they are responsible for 70 to 80% of the violent crime in those areas? I’m just asking. Look at the statistics!

          • Antonio Ossa

YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT THE SYMTOMS NOT THE DISEASE!

          • Mike Smithy

Please define the disease? Would you define the disease as an inordinate percentage of out of wedlock births in the black community? Would you define the disease as the dysfunctional welfare state? Would you define the disease as the embracement of the gangsta lifestyle in the black community? I eagerly await your lucid response.

          • Antonio Ossa

          • Mike Smithy

Yep, Bill OReilly just presented the facts tonight. Blacks comprise approximately 63% of the Baltimore population and yet approximately 90% of the violent crime.

          • RangerTom

Of course its not racist. The only racism nowadays is from the blacks. You should really check out the black on white crime stats that are so freely ignored by the media and guilt suffering white libs in this country. Keep fooling yourselves. Most would rather see you dead and have nothing but hate for whitey.

          • Genada

The police are arresting and going after black people in a much more forceful manner in black communities. White people tend to use drugs at about the same rate as black people yet they are far less likely to be arrested for doing so.

Once a person goes into the system the prospect for a harder life goes up and the prospect for that person to turn to doing hard crime goes up.

We should be ending the failed war on drugs. Using drugs is a crime that has no victim other then the person using them and the harm they cause themselves. It’s a policy that’s pursuit has lead to our cities turning into what they have.

Probation of alcohol was a failure as well. It only lead to greater problems and a escalation of violence. This is the same fruits of our drug policy. End the war on drugs and then focus on real crime and that would lead to much better results for all of society.

          • RangerTom

Drug use is victimless. Laughable. You do know that most robbery, burglary and theft is committed to support their habits, er victimless crimes as you so refer to them. Even if every drug was legalized, they would still cost money. And since a majority of these users don’t work, guess what, they steal and pillage. Understand now simpleton?

          • Genada

Every argument you make was made to pass alcohol prohibition. Passing it did not stop the use of alcohol and lead to further problems related to the black market that sprang up due to it being outlawed.

Making drugs legal in no way makes burglary, theft or any other crime legal. You could use the freed up resources to go after those that do those crimes that your now using to attempt to stop people from using drugs.

The argument that there would be a expense to making drugs legal overlooks the fact that there is a cost to making them illegal as well. Also it could be used in any manner of way to out law pretty much anything. Red meat leads to heart disease and often the time the person is unable to afford the care it takes to survive a heart attack, so therefore red meat should be outlawed. Sugar can lead to diabetes. Smoking to lung cancer. I could on and on with example after example of behavior and/or items that all have negatives, should we outlaw them all?

Alcohol is a drug and it’s usage is a victimless crime. The effects of it’s abuse can lead one to do things that do then create victims but that’s not a good reason to outlaw it. The same goes for any drug.

Deaths due to alcoholic liver disease: 18,000.

Deaths due to all illicit drugs combined: 17,000.

Your not going to stop people from using drugs. So the best you can hope for is to attempt to regulate it and to educate people on the dangers of them.

          • Gay Veteran

legalize drugs and you reduce most of the drug violence.
Portugal legalized drugs and drug use actually went down.
Drugs laws only do 2 things:
            (1) increase the power of the police state,
            (2) increase corruption among the police, etc.

          • Gay Veteran

            AMEN

          • Gay Veteran

and what does most of the violent crime involve? drugs. decriminalized drugs and you solve most of the problem

        • Jodie Lynn Gaeta

I myself feel very comfortable condemning people who choose to use a man’s death in police custody as an excuse to loot and pillage. But as you point out, those individuals are just a small minority within their communities. As for the questions you pose at the end of your comment, the answer to all is “absolutely not!”And I would add, that “no-knock” warrants should rarely be issued, and that bail for minor offenses should be set much lower, and that ambitious prosecutors must be restrained.

          • Gay Veteran

“no-knock” warrants are used because the police have to justify the costs of their SWAT teams, and the police are too lazy to serve warrants the old-fashioned way (like waiting for a person to leave his house and go to the market)

That’s the average of 600 (SIX HUNDRED) young black males!! How is it possible to get a 1.7 in a US public high school?? You can do better than that if you can fog a mirror. I think there’s a skunk in the room, and it’s not Mary Brown.

          • Mary Brown

Minnesota education applies toe EVERYONE regardless of race you moron. Are there problem inner city schools? Yes but the problem is disruption caused by a certain minority that prevents others from learning.

          • Lindsay

Im white and that’s what I dId. I can’t make enough money to live. So do you really think a black man has a better chance than I do? No. There’s a social issue that’s directly related to race that some are too ignorant to see.

      • laura m.

Jodie, agree. I have been reading on other sites that the cowardly police and mayor are standing back and letting the city be destroyed incl fire trucks and city vehicles, etc. Cops have been assaulted. Like New Orleans, Detroit, East L.A., and other third world hell hole cities in America, anyone living in them needs to leave now. Baltimore was a hell hole before the riots. All retail chains need to pull out of useless slum cities instead of rebuilding. Why would retail stores rebuild in N.O.? Are they nuts.?

        • Mark_Webley

From some of the insurance payoffs in the areas you list, there is a stipulation clause that if a owner re-establishes (rebuilds) in the same location, the insurance company will deny insurance or those that do insure will have rates so high it would be unaffordable to that business. It works about the same way for homeowners who keep rebuilding a home on a flood plain. One other thing to look at, is that most businesses in the current riot areas are uninsured or underinsured. This fact was stated by the Maryland Governor this morning.

        • Mike Smithy

Labeling the cops as cowardly is an over reach. Unfortunately, the cops are in a no win situation and are damned if they do and damned if they don’t. Just a few short years ago, the Cincinnati Police were accused of racial profiling. As a result, the cops decided that they wouldn’t do any more pro-active policing and would only leave the precinct when dispatched. As a result, the criminals had free range of the city and criminal activity spiked. The public then had the audacity to criticize the police for not being proactive. The public needs to make up their mind and stop behaving in a bipolar fashion.

          • T.

Exactly. The public is very fickle, because there is so much diversity of socio/economic levels. When some are appeased – then others are offended. This issue is far from being black & white (no pun intended) as some of these writers on this blog try to make it. The police are the first line of defense for the majority of our societies Victims of crime – And if they were not there to help them there would be Chaos and the Criminals would rule.

          • Gay Veteran

“…The public needs to make up their mind and stop behaving in a bipolar fashion.”

OR the police need to do their jobs without brutalizing people. You provide a false choice.

        • Gay Veteran

“… Baltimore was a hell hole before the riots….”

being a property owner in Bmore I agree that is true about some neighborhoods, but one fundamental problem affecting those neighborhoods is the utter lack of jobs

Police are the thugs. Every level of the government is corrupt. The CIA is the strong arm the mob for drugs. This country is festering cesspool of criminals in government and running the police. We have more people in prison that all the other countries combined. We have no justice in this country because our government is a joke.

        • Jean Deaux

Wow, the baby went out the window with the wash water. True, all levels of government have some corruption but a great deal of it goes back to an electorate that is too disinterested to get out and vote for responsible officials that can sort the problems out. The REAL problems come out when the thugs are elevated to presidential level. LBJ (or his lackeys) carrying sacks of currency out the door after visits from lobbiests, Clinton in Mena, AR, with his airplanes full of drugs coming in and many mysterious murders, obama and his henchman Holder’s Fast and Furious scheme, and I’m sure “W” had some nefarious schemes as well. Pretty hard to go after the number one politician since he is in charge of things. Only answer is to check out the guys credentials while he is still a candidate.

I’m not worried about the number of thugs in prison, most of them deserved what they got under our judicial system. All they need to do to stay out of the cooler is to adhere to the laws all citizens have to.

      • davidnrobyn

Hmmm…so the man’s family was awarded $2 million of taxpayer money. Too bad they couldn’t garnish the wages of the policemen responsible instead of taking it out of the public’s hides.

Point two–so the family had to sue??? Whatever happened to criminal court? I know, I know, silly me.

Point three–if white people ever get as angry as those blacks in Baltimore are, they won’t be in the streets grandstanding, I guarantee it. And it will be a REALLY DANGEROUS situation.

Baltimore, like all the cities which have “exploded” into race riots in the last century, have long been controlled by the Marxist/Progressive/Democratic Party machine. IN Baltimore, every single city department including (and especially) the Police Department, has long been controlled by the Democrats. Don’t like what happened to Freddie Gray?(and I don’t) Where does the blame lie? In and wholly with the Democratic Party operatives running the City of Baltimore. Don’t like the thugs preying upon the City of Baltimore residents? Complain to the Democratic Party machine that got the power structure that for decades has controlled Baltimore and all the other cities that have rioted. Don’t like the Plantation Mentality of the Race-Baiting Pimps who intentionally enslave their own people for personal profit and power? Better not vote for the Democrats next time, you get what you bought and paid for folks. The Liberal/Progressive/Marixst Machine runs America’s rioting cities, the “fault” and accountability lies squarely IN those cities and with the voters who continually are stupid enough to be willing to be so enslaved.(by their own people) Freddie Gray’s arrest was unconstitutional on its’ face, so WHY is the City of Baltimore covering up for their police officers that THEY ALONE control? Where is the “independent investigation”, and why has AG Lynch (and her predecessor Holder been so silent on Baltimore?) They know where the fault actually is, and cannot bring themselves to hold their own Party Members responsible and accountable for their crimes. This IS how the first major Domestic Terror Group, the KKK was founded, solely and wholly by the Democratic Party. Good job folks, you’ve bought into the whole Slave Mentality set forth by your Party.(Useful idiots indeed)-paraphrasing Karl Marx.

      • Mark_Webley

What you have pointed out is ignored by most. I’ve used similar facts like yours and have been called “racists”; a tactic used by most liberals forcing their agendas.

        • EgbertThrockmorton1

I’m not a racist, can’t possibly be one, as I hate everyone equally, right from the get-go. It’s easier that way in the long run.

You raise an excellent point. Why hasn’t President Zero’s Justice Department opened an investigation and appointed a Special Prosecutor to look into Benghazi, Fast & Furious, IRS Targeting, Hillary’s missing email’s and destroyed server, Clinton Cash/Pay to Play/Influence Peddling among other likely crimes?

Why hasn’t President Zero’s Justice Department opened an investigation and appointed a Special Prosecutor to look into the Wall Street banksters?

The police are just government collection criminals.

    • Gay Veteran

      fixed your sentence:

We have a system that no one can hold in anything but contempt. One group [US peons] commits a crime and the entire force of law is throw at them. A different group [banksters] commits a crime and nothing is done to them. The lack of justice in our system fuels the anger and leads to these things.

    • John Byde

Good point. Look at criminals like the Bushes and Clintons. Completely above the law.

  • tacoma

“They know that smashing cars, throwing rocks at police and looting stores is not going to solve anything.”

On the contrary it solves a whole lot, for those who are rioting. Because doing nothing certainly has not solved anything. So breaking things will get attention, get those in power to act, put fear into the situation. Besides, I think it makes the rioters feel a lot better.

The United States economy the past 40 years was built on one single important mantra – absolute maximization of business profit, and thus stock price. Note I don’t mean profit, which is essential for any business. I mean profit maximization being the only thing that matters.

Well, corporate profits have been maximized. The trouble with that is profit does not have a brain and limps. People have these. And people who have paid dearly for profit maximization will blow things up.

    • Gay Veteran

you sound like you read Charles Hugh Smith (oftwominds):

“…Somewhere along the line, we lost the ability to distinguish between earning a profit and maximizing private gain by any means, i.e. Infinite Greed. If you insist on making this distinction now, you anger a lot of people, as it blows the capitalist cover of Infinite Greed…

the system we inhabit now is not based on earning a profit; that’s merely the public-relations propaganda used to cloak its real heart: Infinite Greed. Maximizing private gain by any means isn’t about earning a profit; it’s about strip-mining the planet and the labor and profit of others.

If I buy a political favor that essentially eliminates competition in my private fiefdom, that doesn’t generate more goods and services; it’s simply maximizing my private gain at the expense of everyone else in the system….”

      • tacoma

You and I are talking pretty much the same thing. The human mind behind profit maximization at all cost is infinite greed.

No I have not read Mr. Smith. But I have read The Fourth Turning, a book by 2 historians who correctly predicted the US entering a 20-year long period of Crisis that will turn the country upside down, and will emerge a different nation (or nations) by 2025.

    The Paradox of our Time

The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings, but shorter tempers; wider freeways, but narrower viewpoints.

We spend more, but have less; we buy more, but enjoy it less.

    We have bigger houses and smaller families; more conveniences, but less time;

We have more degrees, but less sense; more knowledge, but less judgment; more experts, but more problems; more medicine, but less wellness.

We drink too much, smoke too much, spend too recklessly, laugh too little, drive too fast, get too angry too quickly, stay up too late, get up too tired, read too seldom, watch TV too much, and pray too seldom.

We have multiplied our possessions, but reduced our values.

We talk too much, love too seldom, and hate too often.

We’ve learned how to make a living, but not a life; we’ve added years to life, not life to years.

We’ve been all the way to the moon and back, but have trouble crossing the street to meet the new neighbor.

We’ve conquered outer space, but not inner space.

We’ve done larger things, but not better things.

We’ve cleaned up the air, but polluted the soul.

We’ve split the atom, but not our prejudice.

We write more, but learn less.

We plan more, but accomplish less.

We’ve learned to rush, but not to wait.

We build more computers to hold more information to produce more copies than ever, but have less communication.

These are the times of fast foods and slow digestion; tall men, and short character; steep profits, and shallow relationships.

These are the times of world peace, but domestic warfare; more leisure, but less fun; more kinds of food, but less nutrition.

These are days of two incomes, but more divorce; of fancier houses, but broken homes.

These are days of quick trips, disposable diapers, throw-away morality, one-night stands, overweight bodies, and pills that do everything from cheer to quiet, to kill.

It is a time when there is much in the show window and nothing in the stockroom; a time when technology can bring this letter to you, and a time when you can choose either to share this insight, or to just hit delete

This story is big news down here too.

  • Orac4Prez

I just saw the story on the local news (in Australia). The news anchor was talking to a foreign correspondent (ie from NY) and he was quite matter of fact in saying they expect many more similar riots and named several cities, including Newark (being just around the corner from his location – so to speak). There were no thoughts expressed about how, why or if they could be stopped. The clear impression was that the opportunities to deal with the issues had passed, and that the rioters couldn’t be reasoned with anyway.

Separating people into ethnic enclaves doesn’t seem to be working in the United States– even though blacks only represent 13% of the US population.

  • Dajjie

Yes this is a time bomb in American cities waiting to happen with rioting masses. However I think the laws and goals of Islam is even a greater threat to a free democratic society. When a Islamic based country cannot support it’s population the people weave their way into the fabric of another country and take hold like a disease. A news commentator took heat for stating there were no go zones in the UK where Muslims dominate. However there really are 55 no go zones in Stockholm Sweden. In Norway rapes of women have spiked in Oslo. 100% of rapes of Norwegian women are committed by Muslim males. Women in Oslo have begun to dye their hair black not to be targeted. Look it up on the web. Turning the other cheek is fine but I would like to show my own support for Western based ideology of freedom of speech, love they neighbor, freedom of religion. Why are folks in the free world not expressing our support for our own system of beliefs and standing up before it’s to late. Be strong flex our own muscle without hate and killing, Let it be know don’t mess with us. How about a Freedom Brotherhood we can support. Is there one.

It’s unfortunate that Christians don’t understand this Aramaic idiom.

It’s unfortunate that western Christians blindly accept the Hellenized Bible.

  • Horiboyable .

When people are fat and happy they live with each other. But when they have no jobs or their jobs pay minimum and they cant make their car payment or mortgage they get angry. Gerald Celente has a saying; when people are losing and and they are losing everything they got; they lose it!!! This will happen world wide soon. We have never recovered from the 2008 recession properly and if people were honest with themselves they would acknowledge that. I have a good job and get paid double the average, have no mortgage or debt and I am feeling it. I am angry too that the system has become so corrupt that it no longer serves us and serves the Political class. The Clintons are doing well for themselves these days, I see Biden’s son was able to get on the board of a Ukrainian Oil Gas Company. Nice work if you can get it. If you are an average Joe, then screw you.

    • Somehow I don’t think the people rioting were looking for work or tired of their minimum pay job. In order for people to be motivated they need to ……… need. I believe in a hand up. My feeling is the majority of these people have been living on a hand out for a very long time. Most of what you say is true, but rioters are just rioters just as a duck is a duck.

I have several relatives who wear the badge. I can’t speak for your neighborhood but such shenanigans around San Diego will get you fired, put in jail or prison. A “supervisor” was discovered covering up for a lower level subordinate and was put on leave, immediately. There are bad cops. Recent cases have seen drug dealing and groping. The guilty parties were sent to jail and prison in very short order. You walk the straight and narrow or else. Everyone is very aware that one misstep can lead to another Ferguson or Baltimore.

          • Gay Veteran

I thought these comments from a libertarian blog were interesting:

There are more skittle dropping unicorns in the country than there are “good cops.”

Stop giving the obligatory nod to the supposed existence of this mythical creature.

            There is no such thing.

If there is such a thing as a “good cop”:

            1) Why isn’t he arresting the “bad ones?”

            2) Why isn’t he testifying on behalf of citizens who’ve been harmed by the “bad ones?”

            3) Why is he aiding the “bad ones?” Whether by corroborating lies told by the “bad one” or by coming down with a chronic case of deaf, dumb and blind, strategic amnesia, or a simple case of looktheotherwayitis, the reason doesn’t matter. He’s forfeited any claim of “good one.”

            4) Why has he not resigned? Why does he voluntarily still go to work every morning to do a job whose primary function is the shake down citizens and ruin peoples’ lives with no moral justification?

          • XSANDIEGOCA

Why the hard feelings? Not being critical, just asking? I would guess some bad experiences? Tell me. My dealings with the police have been overwhelmingly positive. You have a different point of view. Please elaborate

Grace abound for all or it abounds for none. All are worthy of grace and mercy or none of us are. Christ did not come for the just but the unjust. Mark 2:17 “And hearing this Jesus said to them, it is not the healthy who need a physician but the sick, I did not come to call the righteous but the sick.” Stated differently, We are all sinners and in need of a Savior and mercy. In fact, we are in need of mercy every single day because we fail to heed the call to “go and sin no more.” When we look at this situation in Baltimore, as Christians it should be with empathetic eyes knowing that the church has failed not only us but them. No where in the Bible does it give license to a person to take another human life. In fact, we are called to love thy enemies. We are also called to forgive no matter what the offense just as our Father in heaven forgave us. Matt 18:21-35. It is the internal blindness of a man that does not see his own sin and only wants to call out that of others. It is only the selfishness of man that prevents him from understanding that in God’s eyes all sins are the same. It should also be noted that as Christians we are all called to pick up our cross daily just as Christ Jesus did. We are no longer part of this world and instead already have everlasting life in the Kingdom of God. Amen. These people can take the life of me and my family if that is what finally breaks them and brings them back to a relationship with Christ Jesus. If that event saves just a single person it would be worth it. That is what we are called to do as Christians, or those who follow Christ who gave his life for you. Instead of the looking at these people and having hate in your heart try to be empathetic with them knowing that they were lied to their whole lives and are lost. The righteous anger should be directed at the liberation theology and conflict philosophy, which are predicated upon modernity and post modernity, which has been the catalyst for this event. C.S. Lewis stated that modern man has placed a face on those he hates while the people he likes has become the faceless. It should be the other way around. If you want to solve this problem then get involved in people lives. Show them the works God has wrought in your life through you personal witness and not some simple utterances. Not to stand is to stand, not to speak is to speak.
    your humble servant

“These people can take the life of me and my family if that is what finally breaks them and brings them back to a relationship with Christ Jesus. If that event saves just a single person it would be worth it. That is what we are called to do as Christians, ”
You and your family are not the Savior.
Don’t announce your sense of whatever comes may.
Apart from Christ, you can do nothing.
God alone saves us in Christ.
As believers we are to walk in Him and present ourselves to Him as His servants every day. Be filled with Him as life. To proclaim the good news and become partakers of the Divine nature.

Despite the grandstanding of affirmative action, blacks have been marginalized and then used by the forces that marginalized them. There is definitely some organization with the rioters which probably goes straight back to the government funded community organizations. The violence is only going to get worse with the importing of Hispanics, the irrelevance of white and blue collar white people, and the insatiable greed of the corrupted ruling class.

    • The riots will intensify once Black people realize they have been replaced by the Hispanics as first in the hand out line.

      • Blacks=Plague

Having worked for the larger part of my career in both Hispanic and Black (self-segregated) neighborhoods for more than two decades, BOTH groups are indeed extremely racist all by themselves. The good decent people of those neighborhoods, were the only folks I cared about, because they were trapped in those neighborhoods. That’s not racism, that was the reality of my personal experience.

It’s not about the color of their skin, ya bunch of racist arsehats. These people are from a socioeconomic class that is constantly under huge pressures just to exist. And when that pressure gets to much, kerblamo.
This is what you get when you keep that pressure up with little or no employment or education opportunities. And if you do work the pay can’t sustain you. When a simple trip to the hospital can bankrupt you. What choice do they have but to accept financial assistance or turn to crime. And when nearly everyone carries a gun, do you expect the police to just take a bullet?
The very freedoms you espouse on this forum are the same you deny these people.
Every last US citizen needs to take responsibility for this. I know it’s a hard thing to accept as you don’t ever do that but it’s all your fault.

You have the gov you deserve. You have the banks you deserve. You have the “system” you deserve. The USA is doomed because you selfish, lazy, self absorbed morons gave up. It all became too hard. Too easy to blame everyone else rather than get off ya fat arses and

The cities with major policing problems that are used by the Sheeple as an excuse to riot, are ALL controlled top-to-bottom, by the Progressive/Marxist/Democratic Party enslavers. They alone bear the responsibility for the lack of leadership, lack of management of their own City departments and agencies. The electorate deserves the City employees they vote for. Since the Liberal/Progressive/Marxist/DemocraticParty Machine totally controls ALL of the failed cities with terrible law enforcement in this country, WHERE and upon WHO is the real blame? You are correct, you deserve the government you have elected. The electorate created this problem in Baltimore and they created the problem in Ferguson, they alone can deal with it, the rest of us bear NO responsibility for their own stupidity.

  • DJohn1

I seem to remember in the old days retailers had shotguns full of rock salt pellets. Any riot is short lived if every retailer in the city brought out the shotguns and fired them into their behinds.
I think the photos tell the story better than anything else. Because 3 out of 4 photos appear to be black people doing the rioting.
I am such a terrible person for noticing that.
Let us call it what it really is. Police and authorities having a two-tier justice system. One for blacks, and another for whites.
It is no wonder to me that the oppressed people riot.
The system is wrong. No person of any appearance should get justice different from any other.
Now I have introduced you to fantasy land . . .
The truth is that people with good lawyers paid for get a different justice than poor people.
Who are the poor? Anyone that has not learned to make a decent living either with a trade or skill and anyone that was taught to be an assembly line worker. Those assembly jobs are long gone.
What has to happen someday is a complete revision of the economic system as it is applied to everyone.
Someday, we have to take on the justice system and make it fair to everyone. Really do not think I will live to see that day happen.

Something happen like these are completely wrong, but there are probably many reasons behind that had build up pressure. Also, our system is not perfect due to many lawyers and law and regulation that make wrong from right and right from wrong. The younger generation is basically do not have any moral and ethics. Therefore, it is better to have a family live as far as possible from the city.

And the author(s) of this makes money off those that he puts fear into. Just like Alex Jones. The problem in Baltimore was that the initial response was lacking.

    • EgbertThrockmorton1

Yes, and there is a complete lack of management oversight and LEADERSHIP within the City of Baltimore. The response was lacking, because no one could make a decision that wasn’t first, a political one. Typical Democratic Party Machine inaction. Just like Ray Nagin in New Orleans, the idiot Chief and his Mayor in Ferguson, and now Baltimore, all good little Democratic Party Pogues.

  • Tim MacDaddy

Its unfortunate and I believe you use peace as much as you can. Ultimately these ‘thugs’ do not understand peace, logic, or patience. The only thing they understand is violence. I believe there are only a few trouble makers that start it, but the “mob mentality” starts soon after that, where kids who may not cause trouble suddenly feel empowered to do so, under the context of being anonymous in a large crowd. So prepare yourselves and be ready. The violence will come to a town near you. What will you do? Will you let them do whatever they want? Or will you take a stand?

  • krinks

Concealed carry states don’t have this problem. No one dares to break in and loot where a gun might be present. The great equalizer.

    • Mike Smithy

Yep. Here in my blessed Kansas, recently the state legislature has taken it a step further and embraced the 2nd amendment. All citizens with the exception of convicted felons are authorized to carry a concealed weapon and no permit is required.

  • Mondobeyondo

Calm down, Baltimore. The Orioles are nowhere close to being in the World Series. It’s a bit too early to riot.

Seriously though, it’s really sad to see this happening in a major American city. My personal opinion, is that what we’re seeing in Baltimore is the breaking of the camel’s back. Freddy Gray’s death was the final straw. A lot of pent-up frustration among the population, especially minorities and those of lower income, which was never addressed by the police, local politicians or civic leaders of the community. This is not unique to Baltimore; many big American cities face the same challenges.

    • EgbertThrockmorton1

The “big American cities” that we see all the problems in, are those cities that have LONG been totally controlled by the Liberal/Progressive/Marxist/Democratic Party machine. Freddie Gray was murdered by the employees of the City of Baltimore, and who are they controlled by? The same elected lowlifes. The Sheeple continue to elect those who continue to enslave them for their own selfish interests. Not our problem as a society anymore. It’s theirs alone, they continue to perpetuate the “problem”, and the other national taxpayers shouldn’t have to bail them out.

When people are constantly put down – belittled, ridiculed, used, abused and made to feel less than plus being in deep poverty with no known way out – then you should expect some people to lash out at all authority, regardless. I don’t condone violence or looting – absolutely not – I find it abhorrent but when people have nothing to lose, then expect their actions to be anything but civilized and lawful.

While these riots are scary and counterproductive, let’s remember we’re living in a country with 320 million people. Things are not going to be 100% kosher all the time for everyone. This is not a doomsday or the end of the world. It is the machinations of society that have gone on for MILLENNIA. Class warfare will always exist.

And if, in a future time, classes disappeared and everyone was truly equal from an financial standpoint, you’re still going to have crime, violence and social angst. It is human nature. As long as you choose to live with humans, this is what you’re going to be exposed to on some level at various times.

Anyone seen the report that Freddie Gray recently had spinal fusion surgery just 1 1/2 weeks before his death? The report I saw on social media said he was supposed to be on bed rest. There are also reports of witnesses claiming he was banging his head against the wall inside the paddy wagon and flailing about. I haven’t seen this anywhere else. Any truth to it?

What a contrast to the situation in Kent 45 years ago! I was going to school at Kent State at the time–in fact, it’s my hometown. In Baltimore, we have a whole section of a major city trashed and destroyed, and the police arrest people–when they can. At Kent, a few windows were broken on North Water St. and they burned down the ROTC building on campus–basically an army barracks if you’ve ever seen one. Ugliest buildings ever constructed. That was the extent of the damage. For that, my hometown was under martial law for a week and national guardsmen SHOT DEAD four students and wounded 11 more in a hail of gunfire. (I’m not justifying the demonstrations at Kent, btw.) Why were the authorities so severe at Kent while basically handling the Baltimore situation with kid gloves?? Could be that this is Clinton’s “kinder, gentler America”. Could be the political climate. A thought occurs to me, though. Could it be because, as Solzhenitsyn put it, the students were “politicals”, and the black rioters are “friendlies”?
