Marc Faber Issues A Stunning Warning That A Gigantic 50 Percent Stock Market Crash Could Be Coming

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

Danger Button - Public DomainAre we about to witness one of the largest stock market crashes in U.S. history?  Swiss investor Marc Faber is the publisher of the “Gloom, Boom & Doom Report”, and he has been a regular guest on CNBC for years.  And even though U.S. stocks have been setting new record high after new record high in recent weeks, he is warning that a massive stock market crash is in our very near future.  According to Faber, we could “easily” see the S&P 500 plunge all the way down to 1,100.  As I sit here writing this article, the S&P 500 is sitting at 2,181.74, so that would be a drop of cataclysmic proportions.  The following is an excerpt from a CNBC article that discussed the remarks that Faber made on their network on Monday…

The notoriously bearish Marc Faber is doubling down on his dire market view.

The editor and publisher of the Gloom, Boom & Doom Report said Monday on CNBC’s “Trading Nation” that stocks are likely to endure a gut-wrenching drop that would rival the greatest crashes in stock market history.

I think we can easily give back five years of capital gains, which would take the market down to around 1,100,” Faber said, referring to a level 50 percent below Monday’s closing on the S&P 500.

Of course Faber is far from alone in believing that the market is heading for hard times.  Just recently, I wrote about how legendary investor Jeffrey Gundlach is warning that “stocks should be down massively” and that he believes this is the time to “sell everything“.

And on Tuesday, Donald Trump told Fox News that the stock market is “a big bubble”

“If rates go up, you’re going to see something that’s not pretty,” the billionaire businessman told Fox News during a Tuesday morning phone interview. “It’s all a big bubble.”

Worries that the Fed has created a market bubble have shadowed the second-longest bull market in history as the central bank has kept its key rate near zero and expanded its balance sheet by $3.8 trillion in order to pump liquidity into the financial system.

Trump actually has a vested interest in seeing the stock market go down, because that would help his chances in November.

In a previous article on The Most Important News, I explained that the stock market has indicated who would win the presidential election 86 percent of the time since 1928.  During the final three months before election day, if the stock market goes up the incumbent party almost always wins.  But if the stock market goes down, the incumbent party almost always loses.  The only times this correlation has not held up since 1928 were in 1956, 1968 and 1980.

For the moment, the stock market is defying the laws of economics, and that is a very good thing for Hillary Clinton.  But if this bubble suddenly bursts and the market starts catching up with economic reality, that is going to turn out to be very favorable for Donald Trump.

And without a doubt, the fundamental economic numbers just continue to get worse.  Earlier today, we learned that productivity in the U.S. has now been falling for three quarters in a row

Productivity, a sore spot for the U.S. economy over the past few years, has now declined in three straight quarters, according to data released Tuesday.

Productivity in the second quarter unexpectedly fell 0.5%, well below expectations, the Labor Department said. Economists surveyed by MarketWatch had forecast a 0.3% gain in productivity in the quarter.

Productivity is down 0.4% from a year earlier, the first year-over-year decline since the second quarter of 2013.

On Tuesday we also learned that real estate sales in Las Vegas were down about 10 percent in July compared to the same period a year ago, and things are not looking so good in San Francisco either.  Just check out what has been going on at Twitter

Twitter is shaking up San Francisco. It’s the city’s 10th largest employer, and second largest tech employer, after Salesforce. But it hasn’t yet figured out, despite a decade of trying, how to make money. Last October, it announced that it would lay off 8% of its workforce. A couple of weeks ago, it reported a second-quarter net loss of $107 million along with disappointing user metrics and lousy projections. Its shares have lost 74% since their miracle-IPO-hype peak at the end of December 2014.

And now Twitter is dumping nearly one third of its total office space on the San Francisco sublease market.

Las Vegas and San Francisco are both prone to huge “booms” and “busts”.  So the fact that it appears that both cities are starting to move into the “bust” end of the cycle is a very ominous sign.

Conditions are changing, and now is the time to position yourself for the exceedingly challenging times that are coming.  As I end this article today, I want to share with you something written by Jim Quinn.  He recently went out to visit his son Kevin in Colorado for a couple of weeks, and the following is how he ended his article about that trip…

After spending a week in this stunning paradise, it’s tougher than you know to go back to my two and half hour daily round trip commute into the slums of West Philly. John Muir’s words were right 100 years ago and they are right today. I am losing precious days and my days are spent trying to make money. I’ve got responsibilities. I’ve got bills to pay. I’ve got kids to get through college. We’ve got aging parents to help. I work because I have to.

I’m not learning anything in this trivial world of distractions and iGadgets. I don’t fit into this materialistic society. I don’t do small talk. I have no patience for fools. I prefer solitude. If I can survive this despicable rat race for seven more years, I’ll be joining Kevin in Colorado and living the life I’d like to live. The sun is setting and time is slipping away. Those mountains are calling me home.

I can definitely identify with what Jim is going through, because I once experienced similar emotions.

To Jim and everyone else that hopes that someday in the future they will be able to live the lives that they would like to be living right now, I would say this…

Don’t put it off.

Seize the day and find a way to make your dreams a reality.

Things are rapidly changing in this country, and if you keep putting off the life you want to be living for too long it may end up slipping away for good.

Fair enough but Mar Faber (with his silly Swiss accent) has been WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, WRONG, WRONG since I can remember.

Why are you choosing to quote him now?

    • Guest

You’re right about Faber’s track record.

Richard, maybe that is why Mike quotes him now. Both people have similar track records when it comes to predictions.

Every time they use QE it represents a collapse, they only cover it over. Eventually the bubble sways burst, how bad it is depends on how many QE’s they use to keep it inflated.

“Seize the day and find a way to make your dreams a reality.”

If only it were that simple! I live in a southern city that was quite nice when I moved here about 10 years ago, but now it’s awful. There are housing developments going up everywhere. And traffic is a nightmare. I daydream about moving to some place with less people and less traffic. (Montana would be nice!) But how to make it a reality? What would I do for income? Moving is a very expensive process, let alone the regular living expenses one has after they’ve moved. I don’t have much money. My home is paid for, but it’s not worth much.

    • Eeyore the bore

Yep, you’re screwed. Learn how to suffer quietly, please.

Re: Donald Trump: “If rates go up, you’re going to see something that’s not pretty…”

He’s spot on about that. You’d better hope the Fed keeps interest rates close to rock bottom for as long as it can. It’s inevitable that rates will go up eventually. And when they do, the whole $20 suit called the American economy will begin to unravel. Right down to the “Made in China” label on the back.

    • anonymous

      Right, the emperors new clothes…..

    • SnohtBlossom

There’s always something pretty & not pretty in the market. It’s just a matter of which side of the coin you’re on.

    • jaxon64

I’m not sure we’ll ever see rates go up. Quite frankly, it would be an automatic crash event at this point in the game. Most likely that we’ll see negative interest rates, confiscation and paring of retirements and pensions and then maybe outright govt access of private accounts.
We have long since passed the point where we’ll ever see the average 6 to 8% interest rates–and even 2 to 3% rates would add hundreds of billions in annual interest to our unpayable debt and 1 trillion+ annual budget shortfall.

      • jeff

What do you mean “our” debt? I had no part in creating , desiring or benefit. I never saw a dime of it…

  • Guest

“I can definitely identify with what Jim is going through, because I once experienced similar emotions.”

Come on, Michael. Most people have thought about how wonderful it would be if they had the means to live the life of their dreams. But the unfortunate reality is that most of us have to work at jobs that we don’t like. And the little money that we get to keep, after taxes are taken from our wages, is consumed by living expenses. What little, if any, is left over might be enough to do something enjoyable on our day off. And then it’s back to the grind.

I’d like to see a cat sanctuary started several miles from city, where unwanted cats run free, hunt, and are fed. Flying cats welcome. I help local adopt a pet with needed supplies. Want a petting zoo in my city to keep me feeling young. Neksys: Agree w/minimalist simple life. Enjoy the outdoors, biking, downsizing stuff and stay out of debt. Am fed up with folks who need latest gadgets like stupid smart phones (an addiction for many).

    • nekksys

It’s actually a lot easier than you think. Allow me to pontificate a little…

First, figure out what you love to do. Doesn’t have to be grand and glorious. It can be as simple as arranging flowers or caring for animals. Doing so allows you to de-stress at work because your work is now a passion and doesn’t feel like the day-to-day drudgery most of us suffer through.

Second, figure out how to get paid to do that very thing. Again, doesn’t have to be an extravagant amount of pay but enough to meet your obligations. I do quite well on just over $22,000/yr. If I can do it, so can you.

Third, and this is very important, get out of debt. I cannot stress that enough. No one really needs the latest and greatest of anything. An older model car that’s cheap to repair is also cheap to buy outright. And if you don’t know how to repair your own vehicle, check if there’s a Hayne’s manual for it. This will help cut operational costs as well. If you pay more than 30% of your monthly salary for rent, downsize, find something to buy or, if you’re handy and have the tools, build a tiny house.

Fourth; reduce, reuse, recycle! Do you have a room in your place that’s cluttered and beyond use? Clear it out and sell whatever you don’t need. Have an old shirt that doesn’t fit well any more? Send it to a consignment shop and get a few pennies back out of it. What about that old computer or that burnt set of pots & pans? Recycle it! There are literally hundreds of ways to make extra cash from the clutter we find ourselves surrounded by.

Fifth; make time for YOU. This one is important to help preserve your own sanity especially if you haven’t found that one thing you love to do or managed to figure out how to get paid for it.

Sixth; never stop looking for ways to make your life smaller, simpler and easier. Reduce the clutter and dependence on “stuff” by looking, every day, for something you can actually live without. Take up gardening as your “Me Time” project to help you relax AND cut food costs. Learn to fish or hunt game animals for the same reasons.

Living a semi-subsistence lifestyle, similar to what I’ve outlined, can be relaxing and rewarding. All you have to do is commit and don’t give up!

  • Colorado bound again

Funny article considering my wife and I are planning our move back to Colorado for mid next year(or sooner).

To those that have a ton of possessions, sell them all. Moves don’t have to be expensive. We’ve done it plenty of times. One small uhaul is all we ever end up with. Possessions usually equal debt and then people have to work to pay for the debt…all for what?? Life is short, get out and live it! Live simply and you will find out how much life there is out there!!

    • Evan Elliott

Me and my family are going back to CO too. Travelin’ light, trying to purge as much crap as possible. When I move, if it doesnt fit in the car its getting left behind.

    • SnohtBlossom

Where does the article mention Colorado? What’s so funny?

  • Ex Tempus

…GOVERNMENT MOTORS is selling cars like hotcakes, there is a shortage of tool makers, auto mechanics, engineers etc., so the economy is just HUNKY DORY!..but remember, the economy of the Vietnam war (1960’s) is gone forever!…no more 29 cents/gallon gas, Mustang, Camaro, Challenger cars are for rich old white men and not mainstream! Life goes on!

    • rentslave

There’s a shortage of those skilled workers because the tax system encourages the production of low IQ people.

  • Linda Aguilar

I agree with colorado bound again- part of the problem has to do with our stuff. To have time to pack it when working- impossible, to have money to move it- too expensive; to house it when we get there- ridiculous! Answer- get rid of it! And discover that experiences are so much more worthwhile to have. Now we know why the Tiny House Movement has flourished in the last few years.

    • anonymous

Sure, and why do we even have clothes? Let’s just all be nudists and live in peace……

      • nekksys

Actually, I’m in favor of that but it does get cold up here where I live…

      • Clothing Optional

I have been a nudist for 13 years.

It started out because I had limited funds but soon just became a personal choice.

    • ONE WHO KNOWS

There is nothing wrong with having stuff. If you work hard, you deserve the best life has to offer. The issue is: When you only identify with the stuff that you own. Everything in the material world that is invented, normally serves a good purpose anyway. Some stuff is just worthless. i.e. chia pet, pet rocks, etc. etc. We have an economy based on consumption. An economy that is an illusion. Many of us have been sold a lie. There is more to life than meets the eye. Experience life, experience reality, live by faith and you will make it.

    • nekksys

Preacher, who says “living the life you want” is outside God’s Will?

It’s God’s Will that I be a good steward of His Earth and the gifts He gives me, correct? If I make being that Good Steward a daily part of my life, the life I want to live, doesn’t that mean I’m putting God’s Will first? If I garden, keep livestock, hunt, fish and work to feed both my family and those in need, help my parents and those who need help, tend to those who need care, support or a shoulder to lean on all the while doing these things for Christ’s sake, am I not doing God’s Will?

Think about it this way: For some of us, “living the life we want” means living life as a Disciple of Christ.

      • GSOB

        1 Thessalonians 4:3-5

      • Preacher62

        Luke 9:23
You answered your own question. “For some of us, living the life we want means living life as a disciple of Christ.” The wide gate and the broad way that Jesus referred to is directed at those who live the life they want to satisfy their own appetites and therefore is outside the will of God. May God bless you as you continue to live for him.

        • nekksys

Now I ask: What are you doing to attract people to the narrow, rough way and how are you teaching them to live as a disciple? This is completely rhetorical and one only needs answer this questions to one’s self.

    • alan

Things are changing to the point your dream may become a nightmare. I would never count on a god to save me, so far its been up to me.

Well, it’s obvious that they’ll unleash a major economic crisis as election day approaches. There has to be an urgent crisis for candidates to make false promises over.

  • felicityva

Is there anyone here who doesn’t believe that the government will be propping up the stock market through the elections?

    • df NJ

I have no idea what this means. I think once the election is over and the people in power get comfortable again that absolutely nothing is going to change then I imagine the stock market will remain flat or grow a bit.

Hillary seems to be the bankers and Federal Reserve candidate not Trump. If Trump gets elected the uncertainty around him may cause the markets to sell off.

    • Jerry C

Just long enough to get Trump to become the next U.S. President & the Anti-Christ to get the next Secretary General of United Nations; then all hell breaks loose.

Wall Street is betting that Congress will remain divided no matter who wins the White House, which means the next president “won’t be able to do much anyway,” and while Trump and Clinton “may talk big, they really won’t be able to implement much of this bluster anyway, so why react to it,” Paulsen adds.”

  • Aug 9, 2016 The Entire Economy Is Getting Ready To Hit Rock Bottom

US home-ownership is at 50 year lows. Wholesale inventories rise, but still signalling recession levels. US productivity hits rock bottom, the entire economy is collapsing and all indicators are pointing to it. Baltic Dry Index declines again. The wealthy are building panic rooms and getting prepared for the financial crisis, an event or war.

You think Snottly has your Wisdom?

          • df NJ

I’ve argue against the Snot. There are two types of atheists. Those who believe God does not exist and those who simply point out there is no evidence for the existence of God. Snot seems to be the first kind. And since you can’t prove a negative his sentiment is kind of pointless. I imagine the only reason he keeps saying it is to get a rise out of the believers. My problem with the believers is how strong can their faith be if someone like Snotty gets a rise out of them? It would seem to me anyone with a strong faith would not even comment. It would seem to me someone who truly had a strong faith would simply embrace and love atheists as equally has the most ardent zealot.

          • JC Teecher

Proof once again, you do not even know what you are talking about, and don’t read correctly. Fart-blossom has said many times that she is a she, through and through…not a he, or he she.

Oh stop.. your granny never called you Fart-blossom. Fart-bumkin maybe, but never Fart-blossom.

          • Preacher62

Actually she called me much worse than that but I don’t use that kind of language any longer. A fart blossom is a turd; I have no idea what a fart bumpkin is.

Same here, but from grandpa when he was being a little mischievous. That was the kinder side of mischievous. He once shot me in the butt with a BB gun.

Since you say there is “no god”, then you must also believe there is no devil.
If there is no devil, then there is no d) evil.
No evil in the world and society means that all is happenstance and no one should be held accountable for doing anything harmful to others.

Example: the mohammadan shooter that killed 49 innocent people in your fair State. In your world, of no god and no devil, he was not responsible for those innocent killings. In your world, mothers are not responsible for killing the innocent lives in their wombs.
In your world, the sinister ISIL members that slice off heads of innocent christian children are not guilty of crimes.

Enjoy your world of nirvana without god or satan, and rest assured it will soon come to and end, and you can reincarnate into another being or animal, possibly a knotblossom flower, or just never be again, with the memory of you blotted out. SAD!

          • JC Teecher

Retired, so there is no such thing as wasted time. I know there is a God and and devil (evil), so, I am not the goofy one here.
You say there is no God nor devil and without a devil there is no evil. So, I stand by my statement; “In your world of no evil”, all atrocities are just happenstance and not an act of evil intent, since it does not exist.

Come on and stoop to the level of your true inner self and make false accusations towards me to make yourself feel better.
No amount of slander and false finger pointing can help you inside. That only comes from the Agape Love that you have not accessed.

Since you have no concept of what that means, because you are way more sottish than you accept, I will clarify for you.

Agape love is: “love: the highest form of love, charity; the love of God for man and of man for God.”

Despite the pockets of current resistance to His rule,
the Kingdom of Christ has come.
Christ is reigning as King now
            1 Corinthians 15:25; Ephesians 1:20.

          • Guest

Jesus Christ is Head of the church, which is His body. Nowhere in scripture is he referred to as King of the Church. He will be King when He returns and visibly rules and reigns from the throne of His father David.

          • GSOB

The fact that Jesus was killed for money explains how many of the people of Israel had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.
According to Revelation 13:16-17 no one could buy or sell without the mark of the beast.
What is the mark of the beast?
            It is Roman money.
Jesus is King and Lord now to those who are part of the first resurrection, being born again. Kingdom people are in the cocoon of the progressing growth of Christ within.
Render to Caesar that which is Caesar and render to the Lord that which is the Lords. Mark 12:17
Unless one is converted, they will perish.

My problem with the fluoride theory is this. Growing up I and my siblings were forced to take a fluoride chewable each morning till 12yrs. A younger sibling stopped at 10yrs. The youngest one had a mouth full of cavities before graduating high School. The rest of us didn’t get a cavity till past 30. To this day I have only had 2 cavities.

It is sad that there is a very large percentage of people in the voting pool, that either, vote based on their portfolio and for the party that is in office when the markets are up; or, are so weak minded that they can’t make a determination months in advance and can be swayed by their emotions and liberal media.

The liberal media plays on this weak mindset that rules many many people, and tries to sway them to their choice of a liberal candidate, by lies and deception.

The author of the lies and deception game will be here for their wining and dining entertainment before too many years. It will be a real hootenanny of a time, folks. We plan to sit back, pop some corn, pop a cork, or two, of homemade wine, maybe slice off a chunk of fresh goat cheese, and watch the crazies. Yippie ky yay………….!

I can’t believe how the Republican party took the comment from Trump about the 2ND amendment people can defeat Hitlery. They sound like Democrats. They should be defending him. He’s not a sissy. (I had another word but I can’t put it in or it will be deleted)

    • df NJ

Trump is not their candidate. Hillary is the Federal Reserve candidate. Since the Citizen’s United ruling, the Fed can print any amount of money needed to make sure their favorite candidate gets elected. That is why the media coverage is so anti-Trump. I’ve never seen anything like it. The statement he made is ambiguous. It could be read as the 2nd amendment people have to vote and get political. But the media choose to make it a smear campaign. Trump is just okay to me. But Hillary is a steaming pile of stinky dung.

You would think Christians of all people would be the most loving of non-believers because of their tenets. But I believe many secretly take huge personal satisfaction and pleasure in the idea that the non-believers will come to a point of never ending eternal suffering. It just seems the antithesis of the Jesus’s teachings.

  • Lao Tzu

He has been predicting this for a decade, almost like you.

    • df NJ

The Tao Te Ching is one of my favorite all-time philosophy books. I like the last quote below with regards to all the posters here obsessed with evil an sin:

“When taxes are too high, people go hungry. When the government is too intrusive, people lose their spirit.

Act for the people’s benefit. Trust them; leave them alone.”

“Stop trying to control. Let go of fixed plans and concepts, and the world will govern itself.

The more prohibitions you have, the less virtuous people will be. The more weapons you have, the less secure people will be. The more subsidies you have, the less self-reliant people will be.

Therefore the Master says: I let go of the law, and people become honest. I let go of economics, and people become prosperous. I let go of religion, and people become serene. I let go of all desire for the common good, and the good becomes common as grass.”

“When the Master governs, the people are hardly aware that he exists. Next best is a leader who is loved. Next, one who is feared. The worst is one who is despised.

If you don’t trust the people, you make them untrustworthy.

The Master doesn’t talk, he acts. When his work is done, the people say, ‘Amazing: we did it, all by ourselves!’”

“Can you love people and lead them without imposing your will? Can you deal with the most vital matters by letting events take their course? Can you step back from you own mind and thus understand all things?”

“When a country obtains great power, it becomes like the sea: all streams run downward into it. The more powerful it grows, the greater the need for humility. Humility means trusting the Tao, thus never needing to be defensive.

A great nation is like a great man: When he makes a mistake, he realizes it. Having realized it, he admits it. Having admitted it, he corrects it. He considers those who point out his faults as his most benevolent teachers. He thinks of his enemy as the shadow that he himself casts.

If a nation is centered in the Tao, if it nourishes its own people and doesn’t meddle in the affairs of others, it will be a light to all nations in the world.”

“If you want to learn how to govern, avoid being clever or rich.”

“All streams flow to the sea because it is lower than they are. Humility gives it its power.

If you want to govern the people, you must place yourself below them. If you want to lead the people, you must learn how to follow them.”

“Governing a large country is like frying a small fish. You spoil it with too much poking.

Center your country in the Tao and evil will have no power. Not that it isn’t there, but you’ll be able to step out of its way.

Give evil nothing to oppose and it will disappear by itself.

Jesus religion is based on earlier religions:

          Zoroaster vs Jesus

•Zoroaster was born of a virgin and “immaculate conception by a ray of divine reason.”
•He was baptized in a river.
•In his youth he astounded wise men with his wisdom.
•He was tempted in the wilderness by the devil.
•He began his ministry at age 30.
•Zoroaster baptized with water, fire, and “holy wind.”
•He cast out demons and restored the sight to a blind man.
•He taught about heaven and hell, and revealed mysteries, including resurrection, judgment, salvation and the apocalypse.
•He had a sacred cup or grail.
          •He was slain.
          •His religion had a eucharist.
•He was the “Word made flesh.”
•Zoroaster’s followers expect a “second coming” in the virgin-born Saoshyant or Savior, who is to come in 2341 CE and begin his ministry at age 30, ushering in a golden age.

As is the case in Ezekiel 28
in which the earthly fall of the
King of Tyre is depicted as the fall of an angel from heaven,
Revelation 9 also describes earthly events in other worldly imagery.
            Fulfilled in A.D. 70

Okay you can be ALWAYSTOMORROW. I’ll be Mr Cipher

    • Maddog

The nation is already being punished. Take a look, your wife, daughter and grand-daughter must share a toilet with strange confused men just to mention one item. TEOTWAWKI has already taken place. It’s just settling in for the total kill now. Sure gonna suck for you when you find out God is real. I’d like to be a fly on that wall.

      • ALWAYST0MORROW

If Hillary is elected that will be our punishment.

        • df NJ

You got that right. Just like Obama was your punishment for GW killing innocent women and children in Iraq.

      • df NJ

Hopefully it will not be a go-to-Hell type sin for taking pleasure in other people’s damnation.

60 million people were killed in WWII. There seems to be no amount of unnecessary evil God will not tolerate in order to preserve our free will. You may have your own personal TEOTWAWKI but 30 years from now the World will be just fine without you.

        • Preacher62

Free will: I have often heard of it but never seen it. I have always met with will and plenty of it, but it has either been led captive by sin or held in the blessed bonds of grace. You will serve one or the other.

          • df NJ

So if Jesus is responsible for all the good I do, and Satan all the bad, what I am responsible for?

You way of thinking always requires all your decisions to come from without. All your choices come from a strong leader. Many people believe absolute responsibility and authority comes from within. There’s a famous saying, “If you see the Buddha on the road, kill him.”

          • Preacher62

You are responsible for the choice to follow Satan. You have never done anything good. Only that done to the glory of God is good, all else is evil regardless of the form it takes. I care not what “many” people believe. All truth comes from God. All people follow an outside authority, God or Satan, there is no middle ground.

          • sistersoldier

It is impossible for absolute responsibility and authority to come from within oneself. The heart is deceitful above all else. In order for there to be a measure of right and wrong, evil and good, moral and immoral you first need an infallible source by which you can measure. Where did society get its instructions for morality/laws? Therefore a spiritual plumb line is required. What’s a plumb line? I’m so glad that you asked df NJ.

Scripture teaches us in the book of Isaiah the words of the Lord, “I will make justice the measuring line And righteousness the level”

No man can do that because we are born inherently sinful. Man would choose sin over righteousness without the help of the Holy Spirit because there is no good thing in your flesh, my flesh, my children’s flesh, my husband’s flesh. It is all unholy before a holy Creator. Which is why we are saved by the blood, the precious blood of the Lamb. God sees only the red!

Mark Faber has been warning of a huge stock market crash for many years. Just like Jim Rogers was saying for decades that commodities are the place to be. Just saying that even a broken clock is correct twice a day.

    • Just Sayin

At least the broken clock is correct twice a day. This website, well, not so much.

I come to this blog when I am bored. I no longer buy into the hype. I’m still waiting for the blood moon crash…was that supposed to happen last fall?

    • Maddog

I read moronic post when I think society is getting better to kick me back into reality and realize it will never get better because the sheep will never return to God.

      • df NJ

I thought the followers of God were referred to as the “flock”. If you want to make a more effective point maybe you should say the “lemmings” will never return to God as their vices lead them over the cliff.

flock of sheep…..make like a shepherd and get the flock out of here!

Hillary wins no crash, trump wins crash Nov 9th.

    • df NJ

If either gets elected there will not be a crash. The president is not a dictator. Don’t worry, the Congress will make sure nothing meaningful ever gets done.

      • Bill G Wilminton NC

There will not be a crash in the FAKE stock market til after the election……

Marc Faber is always right, but markets are irrational. Market predictions are never waterproof.

  • mtntrek3

First of all, thank you Michael for your continued work to inform the public of what is to come. I’ve read your blog for quite some time and consider it a blessing. As to the times in which we live, there is an economic collapse ahead. My guide is God’s Word. I’m sure it’s the same guide many go by here, including Michael. The crash is coming. When exactly is the question. Better to prep however we can while we can as opposed to the alternative. And, as Michael has said, the most important thing is faith in God through Christ. The eternal IS the most important thing. Please everyone……. take heed. Chris.

Such an attempt to crash the American economy, as it seems to be planned, has got to happen after Trump is elected. Blaming the white guy is how the script is written.

    • Bill G Wilminton NC

Trump Will Win In Landslide And Then The Economy Collapses Worse Than 29…..What Comes Next Is All In The Bible……..We Will Have A God Given Chance To Mend Our Ways…..

      Shalom

      • df NJ

So what you are essentially saying is people are going to die and suffer in the most inhuman ways. And then you say “Shalom” at the end.

I don’t understand how people who claim to be Christians are claiming to worship a God of love yet at the same time pray for the most hateful experiences on non-believers.

        • Bill G Wilminton NC

I Am Not The Author Of What Is Written In The Bible…..I Pray For Non Believers To Come To The Lord….I Do Not Pray For Hateful Experiences On Non Believers.

Knowing something will happen doesn’t mean one wants it to happen. Seriously, what is your beef with God? By that, I mean take it up with Him. Of course, you could blame evil mankind for their own evil actions, but why bother; no?

  • Silverbug

The elephant in the room is the phony Bond Market not the Stock Market. Govts around the world are in negative interest territory. They are insolvent. Apple,Google and the likes are not. DOW 30000 Gold $3500 easy please.

    • Bill G Wilminton NC

Stock Market Propped Up By The Fed To Give The “SHEEPLE” The Feeling That All Is Well Just Like Those Passengers On the Titanic……After Election Goodbye Titanic !.

      • df NJ

What is propping the market up is people going to work. Regardless of how much money the Fed prints or the stock market losing 70% of its value people will still go to work to get money for food. People have very strong desires to feed their babies. Your fears of disaster are blinding you from having faith in people’s desire, habit, and compulsion to make commerce.

        • Bill G Wilminton NC

I have no fears I just face the facts which are very simple we have spent forward unearned money TRILLIONS and the bill is coming do…… after the collapse and the subsequent difficult period there will be some business being done but the days of the 500 K per year financial service guys selling DEBT (bonds) over and over and over and over is ending because this unpayable DEBT will be defaulted…….

This financial collapse is all by design to squeeze/force the USA into the NWO Globalism ( one world Government) with NO choice with starving people and cities in chaos.

We have gone from Tyranny to Tyranny in a little over 200 years. Like Ben Franklin said ” we have given you a Constitutional Republic lets see if you can keep it ”

          Shalom

      • Silverbug

In the midst of the Great Depression 1933 to be exact, we had the stock market climb some 60%. Europe was in the middle of a Sovereign Debt Crisis like today. International money flowed here. We were not getting bombed. Money has to park itself somewhere. Not all places are large enough. Hence the enormous Trillion dollar bond market. Will see. Where do you think all the money will go. It is the Bond Market that is really in a bubble.

        • Bill G Wilminton NC

The Federal Reserve Act was passed in 1913 and it only took The Banking Cabal 16 years to create by design the first bubble and collapse of 29. The Federal Reserve is neither Federal nor a Reserve and does not represent the people but the money changers…yup…like the ones that Yeshua (Jesus) threw out of the Temple.

Book The Creature From Jekyll Island by G Edward Griffin….the creature is The Federal Reserve read it.

Bonds or Stocks we are already finished but you are correct we will certainly see but not until after the election. Then the Titanic hits the iceberg…all by design.

          • Silverbug

Again 29 crash was precipitated by a bond crash in Europe which snowballed to banks going belly up here. Then in a sudden shift of money flow from Europe to here the DOW took off in 33. So to really see what’s going on you can’t live in a fishbowl and just think domestically. Financial markets have always been interconnected and globally is where one can see a better picture of what may happen. Trillions today slosh around everywhere in the world.

  • Peter Gabriel

in the end who cares , market crash does not have much influence on main
street …this is more for the schmucks that trades with super computers nowadays…algorithms and physics that`s all there is… machines makes the market not humans anymore

    • anonymous

half right. machines set market prices. market prices set prices on main street. why do you think everybody is so mad?

  • ProfRaccoon

Sell the stocks, and put your money in a save at home, the banks will confiscate your saving accounts in order to cope with the engineered crisis.

  • alan

Another way to look at this is its a good buying opportunity. If you know its going to drop, cash out wait for it to drop then jump back in. You know any company that is hurt by it will get a bailout.

  • billtheguy

The title says it all, “Stock Market Crash “COULD” be coming. There is nothing holding it up there. No foundation. All the economists give us tidbits of information to see the conclusion. When? No one knows. As long as the PPT are keeping it there. The CEO’s and board of directors are taking theirs. Low interest loans to buy back the stock with no intention of repayment? Even they know it’s inevitable. The only one that I know of that’s different is the CEO of Overstock.Com which is helping his employees.
