People All Over America Are Freaking Out About This ‘Super Blood Moon’

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

Blood Moon - Public DomainOn Sunday night, we are going to see something take place that only happens four or five times a century.  A lunar eclipse is going to occur while the moon is making its closest approach to our planet.  When this happens, the moon will temporarily appear to be red as sunrises and sunsets all over the world are reflected off the surface of the moon.  This blood red “supermoon” has created apocalyptic fears all over the globe, and many people have stocked up on enormous amounts of food and supplies in anticipation of this event.  This particular blood moon is the fourth in a series of blood moons that have fallen on Biblical festival days in 2014 and 2015, and this one will be clearly visible from the city of Jerusalem.  Personally, I do not know if anything will or will not happen tonight or tomorrow.  I want to make that very clear.

What we do know is that there has not been a “super blood moon” since 1982, and there will not be another one until 2033.  The following is what the Telegraph says we should expect to see on Sunday night…

Amateur astronomers will be given a rare chance to capture a spectacular celestial event that has not occurred for 30 years tonight- a lunar eclipse with the moon near to its closest point to the Earth.

An awe-inspiring blood-red “supermoon” will cast its eerie light on the Earth early on Monday, creating an atmosphere of wonder and fear across the world.

When the moon is at “perigee”, its shortest distance from the Earth, it is 226,000 miles away and appears 14 percent larger and 30 percent brighter than when it is at its furthermost point.

The last time this coincided with a lunar eclipse, when the moon is covered by the Earth’s shadow, was in 1982 and the event will not be repeated until 2033.

Like I said, I do not know of any specific event that either will or will not happen over the next couple of days.

But a lot of people out there are freaking out about this “super blood moon” as if the end of the world is coming.  For instance, the Mormon hierarchy has issued a statement in an attempt to calm down some of the apocalyptic speculation that is taking place among their members

A rare lunar eclipse set to happen this weekend has prompted the Mormon church to issue a statement to followers warning them not to worry about apocalyptic speculation that is running high.

The church cautioned followers to not get caught up in speculation about a major calamity. It’s unclear how many Mormons buy the theory, but leaders were worried enough that they took the rare step of issuing the statement.

Sunday night’s “blood moon” has led to a rise in sales at emergency preparedness retailers.

Of course it isn’t just Mormons that are freaking out.

I recently had lunch with one of the owners of one of the largest emergency food companies in America.  He says that they have had to go to three shifts a day, seven days a week just to keep up with demand.  And even with the increased production, there is a significant delay in getting orders out to customers.

Millions of people seem to have a sense that something ominous is coming.  And without a doubt, we have already seen some extraordinary things happen over the past 60 days.  The stock markets of the 10 largest global economies are all crashing, volcanic eruptions and major earthquakes are happening at a rate far higher than usual, and absolutely crazy things are taking place at the United Nations.

So will any specific event happen in conjunction with this “super blood moon”?

I do not know.

But I do believe that this “super blood moon” is significant.

I do believe that it is yet another warning.  But just like so many of the other warnings that we have seen, it too will be ignored by most people and quickly forgotten.

I think that what Pastor Mark Biltz recently told WND about this “super blood moon” is very wise…

Pastor Mark Biltz, discoverer of the blood moons phenomenon and the author of “Blood Moons: Decoding the Imminent Heavenly Signs,” says Christians are being given signs from the heavens.

In Biltz’s opinion, the current sequence of four blood moons – a tetrad – “is a sign for today’s Christians as judgment always begins in the house of God.”

“I believe the current blood moons also signal the end of an era,” he said.

Like Pastor Biltz, I believe that we have come to the end of an era.

For so long, people have been mocking the idea that judgment is coming to America, not realizing that it is only because of God’s grace that we have been given so much time to repent.

Now, I believe that the period of grace is coming to an end and a time of judgment is beginning.

So what do you think?

Do you believe that this “super blood moon” has any significance?

Do you believe that America is entering a time of judgment?

Please feel free to share your thoughts by posting a comment below…

No need to wait, taking your own life is still an option on the table if life is so horrible on this Earth.

    • SunnyFlaSnotress

Well, it doesn’t.. just like there’s no prevailing big man in the sky or red dude w/a pitchfork. It’s just another day. Boyfriend and I party on here.. and lucky me, the detached other bf even messaged. Ok, maybe it’s an extra-passion moon.

I hope it means I get a raise at work!

Our solar system is one giant clock. A very old and very slow clock but just like a clock, the bits all line up every now and then.
Again, a good example of how human emotion trumps intelligence.

I’ve had a great year so far, business is good, food great and I’m feeling good 🙂 And it looks that the rest of the year should be good as well. Just one way to find out..!

But that said, I agree with the author of this blog about the financial state of the World…! Something is gonna break sooner or later. But this year? Don’t think so.

The blood moon is NOT a warning. It is a natural event. We are not a bunch of illiterate tribes in America. People really should have more common sense now with information and knowledge at their fingertips.

So after the blood moon passes and again nothing happens, what is the next thing people will start freaking out about?

    • ED has had it.

Everything created is from GOD and YES there is a reason ….the Blood moon is a CALL .. to REPENT… JUDGEMENT too will come …

      • jason

So child molesters were created by god too? OK psycho. When your blood moons yields nothing, then what?

        • SW

There was speaker that did a speech in India and he described Hell. When he was done speaking the head guy (a Hindu ) got up and said to the crowd. “If what this man haws said is not true then it doesnt matter. But if what this man said is true Nothing else matters.”

God makes all creatures, Saturn turns them into evil creatures.

The Blood moon is a warning sign just like the sign saying “No entry Cliff danger” Its your choice to listen to the sign or step off the cliff.

    • Grenadier21

Agreed. It really sounds like a pagan superstition to me.

  • K

There have been many signs. But most of all, I go how I feel I am being led. I feel judgement is close. I also feel many are so blind, they will never see it coming. Soon it will be time, to take care of the ones the Lord has sent my way. May the Lord bless all who know the truth.

  • gfmucci

Nothing is forever: our lives, good health, nations, good fortune, prosperity. It is foolish to be a mocker.

  • Hilarity

More religious gibberish. Imagine what a better place the world would have been and be with no religion. The bible is a load of trash. The gospels conflict with history, conflict with each other, and conflict with logic. Bunch of drunken old farts writing down ramblings and suddenly its God. Same thing with Islam. Following a pedo 10th century warlord that was even more demented.

    • Jim(another Jim)

Well, the Gospels do not conflict with each other. They were written by 4 different people with different backgrounds, so they aren’t going to say the same thing. The Gospels do not conflict with history, In fact there are historians recorded writings that back the Bible up. Every time naysayers say a city mentioned in the Bible doesn’t exist and there is no proof of it, another dig shows up evidence. If you have any doubt of this, read Lee Stroebels A case for Chrsit. It is a little dry, but has a lot of facts that prove you wrong

    • John Noyb

Dude – the day is soon coming when you will TOTALLY REGRET being a mocker!

    • HM

Mohammed lived 570 to 632 AD, so he was not 10th century.
Regarding the pedophila charge, wikipedia relates what historians have long taught, “According to Sunni scriptural Hadith sources, Aisha was six or seven years old when she was married to Muhammad and nine when the marriage was consummated”. Contemporary western culture would call that pedophilia.

      • alan

However today in Kalifornia it would be called age discrimination. Some one will get a law suit slapped on them.

    • Bucq

For Hilarity. Tell us then. Who came up with the idea that mammals like humans, have embbilical cords in the womb, but dogs as mammals don’t . And snakes come out of eggs, and some don’t. Or, a cow is black, eats green grass, and makes white milk……….Idiot.

      • Kevin

It is called e-vo-lu-tion. No one came up with it. It is just the way things work. Why does there always have to be an answer? Two, three, ten thousand years ago man’s knowledge of the universe was miniscule. Five thousand years from now we will be looked upon as cavemen and a new belief system will have been created because the one in use now will have been proven inferior. Ten thousand years ago man worshiped the sun, the moon and the stars. Now it is a man-like god. What will mankind worship in five thousand years?

        • Simon

If you’ve seen one animal become another, then you might have a point – but if you just believe something you have never seen for yourself, welcome to the world of religious faith friend.

          • Derp

All you have to do is look at the fossil records. Hmmm all simple lifeforms at the bottom and all complex lifeforms at the top. Through Radiometric dating we can accurately date each level and go back in time. Doesn’t really take a genius to understand it.

          • Chipper

Actually, you can, if you want, find plenty of cases where the radiometric dating methods are grossly inaccurate. There over a 100 “radiometric” dating methods, of which many do not point to “billions or millions of years”. Only the ones that point to billions of years are used by the evolutionists, because without time (and LOTS of it), evolution is simply not viable.

          • Derp

Sure all you have to do is prove what you just said. Anecdotal evidence means nothing. What field is your Phd in?

So again no dating even necessary, we can look at the FOSSIL RECORD and see SIMPLE to COMPLEX. That’s observation. Dating is secondary to the observation. Sorry but your myth is dying faster than your can say CREATION. BTW Radiometric dating is very accurate, so show me where is has been proven to be inaccurate. And please don’t copy and paste from the discovery institute or any creationist site.

          • The Plague Doctor

“If you’ve seen one animal become another, …”

I once saw a caterpillar turn into a butterfly! Where’s your Jesus now?

        • SW

Its called the “Theory” of e-vo-lu-tion

          Theory being “Best scientific guess”

          • Derp

Right, Just like Germ Theory, Atomic Theory, Gravitational Theory. But those all just theories too. SMH

You do realize that evolution is the basis for all modem biology and micro biology.

          • SW

No, germ theory ect is proven as scientific law (s). by experimentation
And no I dont agree that all biology is based on evolution.
I see natural selection in nature but have never seen evolution. If evolution was true why are there not any half bird half fish animals walking around? You might say frogs so then half frog half bird…. There are too many large gaps between species. Also how come a large mouth bass in California is the same large mouth bass in Florida? If evolution was true they would have evolved into something else and the species of fish would only be in one area.

          • Derp

            Science and Children
            How does a scientific theory
            become a scientific law?
            Background boosters for elementary teachers
            A theory
a law. End of story, end of
            this issue of
            Science 101

          • SW

What is the definition of a theory?

            End of story

          • Derp

Do you mean ” What is the definition of a scientific theory, not a theory.
Here you go:A scientific theory is a well-substantiated explanation of some aspect of the natural world that is acquired through the scientific method and repeatedly tested and confirmed through observation and experimentation.
Would you like the definition for the scientific method as well?
Stop listening to your pastor and pick up a book. So again you don’t believe in Atomic theory, germ theory, molecular theory etc since I just proved you wrong about your Theory-to-Law BS you just made up

          • SW

            You google very well….

I still believe in creation. I still believe theory is not scientific law (in my thinking of the term). But an explanation of ideas (maybe based on facts at hand). But maybe there are other fact out there not discovered yet???

I do not believe you can take a sterilized petri dish (space) and in a billion years an amoeba is formed. In theory.

You cant create something (space Dust/ particles) from nothing.

You might come back with where did God come from then? That no one knows but I have faith that at the end of the day(s) I have chosen the right side to place my bet.
I would rather believe and if I am wrong then I lived my life the way I chose with faith. But if i didnt believe and I was wrong then i would pay that price for eternity.

I am in no way educated as many, not even close. But that may be to my advantage that I have the right to choose my own way.

          • Derp

“theory ect is proven as scientific law (s). by experimentation”

“I still believe in creation. I still believe theory is not scientific law”

You just contradicted yourself. So which is it?

“I do not believe you can take a sterilized petri dish (space) and in a billion years an amoeba is formed. In theory.”

This has nothing to do with Evolution, you are talking about Abiogenisis. Evolution simply explains the diversity of life we have around us. Please do not confuse the two.

“You cant create something (space Dust/ particles) from nothing.”

You’re right. But all of the elements we do have are created in Stars. This is a fact. You can look it up. Stars are essentially giant hydrogen bombs fusing elements together. That’s how we get matter

I do find it ironic you don’t believe something can come from nothing but you have no problem believing god created everything from nothing. Don’t you think it’s ironic that you suspend your logic for god but when presented with evidence you still deny it.

“I would rather believe and if I am wrong then I lived my life the way I
chose with faith. But if i didnt believe and I was wrong then i would
            pay that price for eternity.”

This is called Pascals Wager and goes this:

the argument that it is in one’s own best interest to behave as if
God exists, since the possibility of eternal punishment in hell
outweighs any advantage of believing otherwise. But the chance of it being your god is as good as it being another god. So you would go to hell for worshiping the wrong god anyway.

“I am in no way educated as many, not even close. But that may be to my advantage that I have the right to choose my own way.”

Sure, that’s your excuse. You would rather keep your mind sheltered from reality, while at the same time use a machine MADE by science and using scientific theories for it to operate, to dispense theistic falsehoods. If you don’t believe in Scientific theories then how does your computer work? Or you only believe in Theories that don’t contradict your own world view. Do you know what that’s called?

            It’s called being intellectually dishonest.

          • SW

Wow you wrote a lot and big words I was tempted to look some up… But didnt. . You must be a professional debater. I didnt read it all but in a nut shell from what I scanned…. yes I do use a computer and yes I do believe in God, I also use fire and the horseless carriage … yuk yuk

. Yes I am wagering and believe God is real. By faith. Something you probably wouldnt understand or simply do not want to let yourself understand. I do not need physical proof to back up my beliefs. Its doent matter what random arguments or how much you google and research I will still have faith.

This is something you will not be able to understand.
Not everyone is able to sit in a class all day. No its not being dishonest. Its called belief in something You or I can not fathom.
Stars…. Hydrogen came form somewhere. particles dust etc.

I do believe God created everything with a word (Will) out of nothing. Thats a power beyond understanding.

          • Derp

BTW can you explain why in the fossil record, there are no complex organism at the bottom?

          • Ron Paul

So Mankind evolved to lose our hair so that we could start fashioning clothing made of animal skin and hair to shield us from the elements so we wouldn’t die? Also, in 1000 years will apes have evolved even further and be driving cars and shopping for bananas at a supermarket? As stated above, there are too far gaps between species. To my knowledge, I’ve never seen any transitional fossils from one old species into a new.

          • Derp

BTW you never answered my question? Why are there no complex animals at the bottom of the fossil record?

          • GSOB

            Evolution =

And according to your buybull your made from dirt. LOL

        • Quintin Eason

Evolution has been de-throned so many times the scientific community no longer know how to explain it. Sorry but there is One Creator and He is King. You will soon see the error of your ways.

          • Derp

Umm, No it has not. Your Theory on a “one creator” has been disproven ad nauseum.

“You will soon see the error of your ways”
            Nope never going to happen.

        • truefreedom

Thousands of years ago, people worshipped the personified powers of nature. Today, western secularists worship the power of reason and arrogantly assume that reality is no more than what they can see with their microscope or telescope. It’s really just a new form of idolatry. Humans are incurably religious. If they won’t worship the true God, they’ll worship some idol of their own devising. Case in point: Richard Dawkins is fanatical about promoting atheism. He is really a religious maniac. Here’s a man who says life has no purpose other than to reproduce ourselves. Yet he spends all his time purposefully trying to convince us that god does not exist. If he was true to his own conviction, why would he care? He does care, doesn’t he? Which proves that there is more to life than reproducing oneself, doesn’t it? Which leads to the question: what is the purpose, really? That is a religious question and no amount of indoctrination in the cult of naturalistic materialism will ultimately silence that question.

          • Karie Nolte

          • Derp

We have plenty of evidence for evolution. Where is your evidence for “your” god? There have been tens of thousands of gods through out human existence. All you have to do is prove it exist and that it is the right one. BTW Evolution is not a religion. It’s a well substantiated theory, just like germ theory, atomic theory, and gravitational; theory. Do you believe people who accept these theories are being religious in nature as well?

          • GSOB

The proof? Look in the mirror.
            Colossians 1:16, 17

          • Derp

Frankly what you said is similar to a modern day persecution of Galileo. Remember what you bible said:
“The Earth is firmly fixed; it shall
            not be moved.”

            -Psalms 104:5
Well we all know this is not correct. But how did a all mighty all knowing god not get this right? Because it is a book written by men. Nothing more. But your desperation for everlasting life makes you close your mind from reality

          • NowAlive

Your theories are by men, thus your own point can be used against you. Your verse is out of context. It’s a song, not a science lesson. It’s a metaphor. Why are there “no” complex forms at the bottom? Because scientific, observable studies show that in the event of a catastrophic flood, the smaller things have settled at the bottom, the larger towards the top. Simple physics rather than rocket science, right? Why has radiometric dating been proven over and over to be inaccurate? For example, Mt St Helens can be shown using your “scientific” radiometric dating techniques, to have occurred 100s of thousands of years ago. Not very accurate, as you claim. But two can play at your game. Why are there no transitional fossils between men and apes? None. Zero. All supposed “transitions” are shown to be unique species of ape or are simply men. How did the universe of nothing create itself? I hope I’m not being offensive. I’m just showing that you base your presuppositions entirely on faith and then believe it is a fact. That’s simply not the case.

          • Derp

“Because scientific, observable studies show that in the event of a
catastrophic flood, the smaller things have settled at the bottom, the
            larger towards the top”
            Wow. That’s some retarded logic
So Dinosaurs should be on the top according to you but guess what they’re in the middle. Why is that? You just said larger things at the top. But we have tons of small species of animals at the top. Just stop, you’re making me spit my coffee all over my computer
“For example, Mt St Helens can be shown using your “scientific”
radiometric dating techniques, to have occurred 100s of thousands of
years ago. Not very accurate, as you claim.”
Sure just show me this citation or maybe you just made it up?

          • Derp

Also you’re such a lair , MT St Helens formed around 40k Years ago. Can you get anything straight?

          • GSOB

            Job 38:4

          • truefreedom

Derp, you show yourself to be a shallow person who hasn’t thought beyond the indoctrination you got at public school. Evolution is indeed a theory which can explain some of what we see in the natural world but it falters at many points. The more we know about what living cells are actually like, the less likely neo-darwinism sounds as a catch-all explanation for the diversity of life. as for your understanding of the Christian Scriptures, let’s just say you’re a babe in that area and you have a lot of catch-up to do before anyone will really engage with you. You sound almost as uneducated as Richard Dawkins but out of the compassion of my heart, I won’t go that far.

          • SunnyFlaSnotress

            Reminds me of a song..

            What’s it all about Alfie
Is it just for the moment we live
            What’s it all about
When you sort it out, Alfie
Are we meant to take more than we give
Or are we meant to be kind?
And if, if only fools are kind, Alfie
Then I guess it is wise to be cruel
And if life belongs only to the strong, Alfie
What will you lend on an old golden rule?
As sure as I believe there’s a heaven above
Alfie, I know there’s something much more
Something even non-believers can believe in
            I believe in love, Alfie
Without true love we just exist, Alfie
Until you find the love you’ve missed
            You’re nothing, Alfie

The idea? There’s no idea-either there are observable facts or not. I’m sorry, but dogs do have umbilical cords. 2 seconds on google will show you proof. And snakes? Well, some are oviparous and others are viviparous. For whatever reason, some evolved to bear live young, while others go the egg route. At some point in the past, they succeeded as survival mechanisms.
We may not be able to personally observe macroevolution, but then again none of us are likely to live a million years. At least we can observe a gradual change, based on soil depth, from large organisms down to small organisms when we look at the fossile record. If creationism were fact, it would make sense to have all fossils mixed together. We can observe microevolution, though. If evolution is false, why do we see antibiotic-resistant bacteria? That’s something entirely new in our own lifetimes. Why can we observe changes in fruitflies in experiments? Why can we find changes in moth coloration to match changes in trees( due to pollution)? Why are we able to track DNA between ourselves and other species and find similarities that indicate our potential ancestors?

Yes that would be the point. Every multiple choice test I ever took always had extremely similar answers to try and confuse me. But there was always the one right answer. If the devil wanted to fight Christianity he is much better off with confusion then denial. Its easier to make people choose the wrong answer then the true false option.

    Full Bible huh?

Not that I disagree, I deeply feel and understand karma and have been very attached to this moon cycle. On the square I was writing loads of politics and on the full (this blood moon) it has come together a little.

But the bible explanation is simplistic. It comes down to A) people seeing truth B) People not wanting to see it and preferring to put it away for various reasons, you might call this ‘wrong thinking’. C) Those justifications then become a weapon that turns against the person and limits their perspective.

At the same time the more satanic powers are making sure karma and cause and effect do not really work properly.

So add these two together, when the negative crumbles (I.e. below the DOW’s August low of 15,666, ‘breaking the will of the devil’) karma will start to re-initialise itself, purely because those who have held destructive ideas towards others will have had their perspective warped and will be unprepared. (However, this process is more complex than it sounds and there will be unjustified nastiness IMO. My mother is not into this area but does not have bad karma possibly, and I have prepped for her as well. Those whom I have told to prep but have argued against me are not in the same boat.)

An example I often use is a girl who is cheating who then becomes very left wing because the left often condescend to other as being inferior to them and she may not tell her boyfriend the truth because she is ‘looking after him’ but in fact it is her that she is doing it for.

To justify this she takes on deeply left wing ideas and ends up strongly supporting man made global warming and various other agendas. When it comes down and she sees that she was going along with a satanic agenda PLUS, she has ostracised those who really do know their stuff, she experiences panic and karma.

Putin teaming up with Assad to defeat ISIS?
      Hard to swallow.
I would not put it past Mr. Putin to try and deceive everyone as to conceal other intentions.
Mr. Putin’s real intention, to overturn the power of the US military. The real plot:Assad & Putin & ISIS will turn on the US, once we are engaged in the warfare.
Though our POTUS towers over Mr. Putin,
that little man is stacking the deck for the fighting to come.
He is building up his strategic fortifications at the same time he is telling Rose that he is protecting Russia’s best interest.
Our US leaders sort of can’t help but watch the moon, as it turns to the color of blood.
The US military and the US are the targets.
Yes,…. Assad & ISIS has to go.

Ask any desk sergeant in any police department.
The full moon brings out the crazy people big time.
The significance of a Blood Moon?
That means the Earth’s shadow falls on the moon and hides it.
So besides being rare, what has it meant in the past?
I can see tidal effects causing various life on the planet to react. The moon has been around for a long time. And gravity may mean something in the affairs of men and animals.
Astrology is even mentioned concerning events in the Bible.
The significance of the Moon, the Sun, and its relationship to the Earth are all things the ancient peoples were wary of.
Our moon is one of the largest in comparison with the size of the planet it rotates around in the Solar System.
If it took 7 miles per second to escape Earth’s gravity it might take 2.5 miles per second to escape the Moon’s gravity.
Yet we have tidal effects everywhere on the planet.
So to say nothing will happen? Probably not. But the Moon itself does influence life here on Earth. So who can tell?
Will it effect primitive societies around the planet. Well the crazy people do still come out around this time of the month. So it is possible.

    • SunnyFlaSnotress

Our bodies have large fluid content. I believe atmospheric pressure affects us (ask sinus sufferers) and the moon’s pull affects us.. some are just more sensitive to it than others.

  • what a bunch

Something is coming…. the return of Jesus and no amount of food, gold, or guns will save you. The Bible says that the only way to be saved is by accepting that Jesus died and rose again to save us from our sins, which without Jesus you will land in Hell for a looong, looong time, like forever. Get it, got it, good!

    • SunnyFlaSnotress

Wow.. you just made a believer out of me! …(lol.. kidding)

      • truefreedom

You are full of spleen and bile. Be careful of what you mock. Although, I must say that religious folks preoccupied with end of time delusions open themselves up to mockery. They say they follow Jesus but Jesus is the one who said to not get freaked out about the alleged “signs of the times” but to just keep living your life responsibly and in love. If Christians were devoted to works of love instead of idle speculations about the end of the world, the Bible might get more of a hearing in our culture. I just want to be on the record in saying that I’ve been a Christian for 50 years and I read the Bible every day but I don’t think the Bible is some kind of a coded writing of history before it happens. Biblical prophesy is not so much fore-telling as it is forth-telling. When you read the prophets of the Old Testament, they are far more concerned about the conduct of God’s people in the here and the now than they are about some distant events. So I advise Christians to lose their obsession with eschatology and get on with their discussion about ethics.

        • SunnyFlaSnotress

  • Justoclarify

I have never commented on a post but I would like to clarify one point made in this blog. I am LDS (Mormon). And I would like to say the article referenced about mormons freaking out is inaccurate. There has not been any official statement given to the saints by either our prophet or our first presidency. The news article mentions that one was made but does not quote it or produce anything to substantiate the claim. As a rule we as LDS members have 1-2 years food storage on hand as this has been our council since the 1800’s. I personally agree with the author of this blog about the financial state of our country and many of his other observations, but my beliefs are centered on the study of the scriptures, prayer and personal revelation. I do not know anyone in my sphere who has talked about or mentioned the blood moon, the shemtiah or anything to do with speculative ideas. I enjoy this blog and I do not fault the author for his reference(s). I just wanted to point out we need to be careful that just because someone printed it does not mean it is accurate. This is where prayer is of utmost importance to all of us regardless of our faith. If we seek the will of God in all things he will not lead us astray.

I have been following this blog for sometime. Though I think a market crash is around the corner if not already here, I have simple comments.

    1. God may or may not be giving us a sign but I am very concerned with the way believers are dealing with recent events. There is a very fine line between Astrology and what many Christians are doing today regarding those events. Unfortunately, I see many unknowingly crossing that line into Astrology. So to all I say, please be careful and re-examine your believes against the word of God.

    2. Lam 3:33 states “for He (God) does not afflict from His heart or grieve the children of men.” Unfortunately many believers, out of bitterness, pain or loss I presume, making it sounds as if God is happy with crushing humans because of our sin. This for one is totally against the word of God. Saying that does not mean that nations and individuals do not bring judgments upon themselves by insisting on following the wrong path (read Rom 1). What I mean is that the door is open for repentance to the last min. God is never happy with judgement but He is just. Believers are ought to grieve and shout to warn of what blind crowds, while they have no clue, are running toward…

    3. Believers are disciplined and not judged. There is a gigantic difference between discipline and judgement. Believers are sons/daughters. To simply it, parents do not around locking their kids for months in the basement or cutting off their hands for breaking something.

Well, I don’t think one must place too much emphasis on this ‘super blood moon’ signaling the end of days. The sun is shining and the birds are singing today. However, can’t say much good about the global economy. However, it seems the US is doing pretty well according to the main stream media (no surprise). US Commerce Department said the economy expanded at an annualized pace of 3.9%, rather than 3.7%. There is strong consumer spending, business investment and residential construction according to the report. The fed says they are on track to raise interest rates this year. Are there any credible evidence to suggest those are false reports?

    • jox

You mean as the other thousand times the Fed said they were going to raise rates because the economy was ok? How many times in a row they can foul people?

      • J.C

  • alan

No one in Korea seems to care. Its a natural occurrence and will happen many more times. So back to what’s Bruce Jenner wearing?

  • StephenNewdell

I cobbled together a long writing on the subject, including some of your material too. And NO one showed any interest. They’re too busy watching TV and having sex with strangers.

Of course it’s the end of an era. The US and England are warming up for big trouble with the middle East. Russia, China, Turkey, Persia, Saudi Arabia — everyone has their feet in it.

In theory the big banking geniuses can extend this crisis a very long time reducing the dollar’s buying power but keeping us operating. Some prophecy scholars think that is what will happen and that the US will be involved in another terrible war and finally rise to great power again, before its final demise.

If they’re right we have at least 18-months to 2-years before a great war in the Middle East and another 3 to 4 years of horror before it all ends.

But even with the best calculations and studies, it all comes out as speculation.

Personally I believe eventually gold and silver will be worthless and the person who is self sufficient on his own land with a water well and a garden growing, canning food, fire wood, keeping foods cold in a “root cellar” is the one who will be called “Rich.”

As for me, I left the USA and live in Asia now. I’m older and retired. I can’t go back to Obama’s Amerika.

I think the moons may portend trouble but a study about this shows something happens sometime, and there’s nothing specific enough to say what or when. Well….even without a blood moon events happen, so what can you do other than plan your life with two or three alternatives?

    • kul

Don’t be jealous because people are having sex and you are not.

  • Ren Fox

It was an astrological phenomena (they happen, and are predicted with an amazing degree of accuracy), by being able to give a time frequency, it means it’s happened before, and will happen again as long as the conditions stay similar, and proves nothing about ‘signs from god’. It’s the 21st Century folks, and we’re still cavemen shaking spears at the sky. If there’s a sign to be seen, by whatever, it will be presented in a way that’s unmistakable, but by looking for ambiguous signs and portents in the sky, you’ll miss a beautiful event for the wonder that it is. Yep, the world economy may collapse, bombs may go off, asteroids may strike – in the meantime, prepare and live, and try not to judge the other poor sods who have a different viewpoint than you.

If American christians really want to repent, then they need to start with renouncing their own government, which is responsible for many of the atrocities committed against people in other countries.

Start with one of the 10 commandments “Thou Shalt Not Bear False Against your Neighbors.” this includes our government lying about ISIS, Syria, Iraq, etc.

When American christians believe these lies and don’t bother to take the time to investigate what our government is saying, then you are also bearing false witness when you allow the lie(s) to be spread as truth and support our government and military in carrying out bombings, etc against these countries.

The significance of the ‘Tetrad’ and not just an ordinary ‘blood moon’, which there are many in any given year, is that in the past four, Jewish Feasts days were concerned. Particularly, the Spring and Fall Feasts. This last one, last night, and as evening (sun down to sun down) was the first day of Sukkot, or Booths, the Feast of Tabernacles. Most gentiles, or Christians, don’t have any idea what is inside the Old Testament and the significance of ‘types and shadows’, or the remainder of unfulfilled prophecy. As ‘New Creatures in Christ’, the Old Testament is left to the past, instead of embraced along with the ‘Atonement’s’ fulfillment. Christ did not destroy the Law or Prophets, but fulfilled in accordance to ‘Atonement’. We are still to be accomplishing ‘works’ as proof of salvation, without which there is no proof. James 2:18. Can’t be saved by works, but must produce works as unto the Lord.
There is much evidence that such ‘Tetrads’ in the past or history have had significance for the Jew and not the World. Why four and not another amount, I have no clue. Yet, scripture points us to the ‘looking’ at signs and wonders in the Heaven-lies, keeping our eyes on what is happening on the earth in vigilance. Watch men on the wall. As we study to show our selves approved, it is there in scripture to attend to. Be diligent, watchful and aware.
The Born Again, Redeemed in the Blood, servant of the Lord is diligently watching for the return of the Lord. Paying attention to the world in which they live. Not in fear, but in joyful hope of His appearing. These moons have significance for the Jew, and quite possibly the entire world as well, as time will play out what just took place last night.

However, people stock up on food because of this President and this government who has turned our country into a total mess. Also, the whole financial world is a total mess. September was to be the month of all months….
Jade Helm, Pope, Interest Rates, and the shimitah was going to hit the fan.

I think the best we can do is be suspicious. So much of what humans look at as patterns relates to where we overlay the information . We view it in our own grid. These red blood moons are of interest to those who think the Jewish calendar is of importance. It is difficult to imagine Muslims or atheists having an interest. Unless of course there is something they relate to these dates.
For those who think there is no God then there is nothing that can ever bring judgment on a nation. The nation could enslave/steal/kill a hundred million and not expect a judgment because in their view there is no one to judge. Hence the rise of Mao or Stalin.
Only those with eyes to see or ears to hear will know. Those who have will be given more and to those who have nothing cannot see to obtain more.

The lunar eclipse is a another part of the mystery of God. Until something directly affects us, people will not change their course regardless of how many times they are warned. Mark Twain said it best “It is easier to fool people, than to convince them that they have been fooled.” Satan has made many of men a fool and as more truths are revealed the fool will not accept the truth as it is in sharp contrast with his reality.

Do you believe that America is entering a time of judgment?

No, real judgment will be at the Last Day, just before a new heaven and a new earth will be created. I do however believe that America is entering a time of difficulties and challenges. This is more based on facts and mathematics. You can find these facts on this website, zerohedge, etc.

This summer I visited a partially restored arc of triumph built by the Romans in the time of Emperor Augustus. There are plenty of parallels between the Roman Empire and the USA. The Roman Empire started its decline in the Second Century, when money debasement really took off. There was no trust in money anymore, so trade imploded. Look at graphs to see when M3 really took off and that will tell you the broad picture.

A sound economy needs sound money.

    • itscoming

They markets will continue a downward spiral with some bounces up along the way. The feds have now lost control, although I would expect some QE4 along the way. Get prepared. It’s coming regardless of if you believe it or not.

  • Mighty IDF

Yeah, the stock markets really demonstrated their strength today, didn’t they?
You’d think that – as strong as the markets are (sarc) – they’d be able to throw off fear, huh? Guess not.
So tell me, CNBC disciples, when will the markets reflect this super-strong American economy you keep pitching?

    • fwalker15

You’re correct the u.s. dollar and the treasury bonds showed strength exactly the other direction. Likely if you had any actual education or experience regarding the capital markets and / or economics you would not make such a fool of yourself so often. 🙂

  • CONSPIRACY THEORIES ARE A DIME A DOZEN: I handle them all the same way regardless of race, creed or color. First, I automatically assume they are all 100% true. Second, I confirm that spending even a minute on any of them accomplishes absolutely nothing, and a does a lot of harm of all sorts, to many to list here. Third, I note that the only people that gain anything from any conspiracy theory are those who make money and gain power by catering to those who believe in, and enjoy wallowing in one or more of these theories. Fourth, I reaffirm those things that I do know will help me, my family, and serve my God and Country. And Fifth, I get back to work on those things that offer a good return to me, my Family, and serve my God and Country. Amen? Google “FounderChurch” for the rest of the story.

    Bondage to faith.

    Courage to liberty.
    From liberty to abundance.
    From abundance to complacency.
    Complacency leads to apathy
    From apathy grows a dependence
    And dependency leads to bondage.

Sound like the path the USA is on.
      Bondage leads to a ‘dictator’.
Are you saying that Trump is that dictator?

      • GSOB

Just that one thing leads to another.
        History truly does repeat itself.

Only in union with Jesus Christ can that cycle be broken.

Can anybody provide evidence that there is a God? And don’t come with that nonsense of faith and BS like that. In a court of law if there no evidence there is no case.

    • NinjaGiraffe

Read Stephen C Meyer’s “Signature in the Cell”. Or just about anything else Intelligent Design related. People can present all the proof in the world… but the problem is, if you don’t want to acknowledge what the proof points to, there will never be enough to suit you.

Lots more evidence discussed on ID the Future website.

    • GSOB

There is lots of evidence that God exists.

For one…. look in the mirror.

You are made in His image….Did you know that?

      Look at BC & AD

Look at the history of the Jewish people.

Creation itself declares the glory of God.

The best proof is the incarnation of the Son of God.

      God became man… Jesus Christ.

The entire Bible points to Him. God the Father testifies concerning His Son.

God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world.
And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high,…

      • max gon

I’m talking about hard evidence, not bible mythology or BS like that. Show me hard evidence, and I’ll believe you. Have anybody ever seen God? Show me that evidence.

        • NinjaGiraffe

You ask for proof, yet, you automatically assume that all credentialed scientists who propose intelligent design are only going to write books about “it was so complex, God must have done it,” or “because the bible SAYS so.”

Except, that’s not what they’re saying.

They’re putting forth concrete, scientific evidence that points to that actually being the best, if not the only plausible explanation for what we see in the world around us. Things like, “irreducible complexity” or the fact that “junk” dna… an icon of “evolution”… is turning out not to be junk, actually.

But that would be scientific, concrete evidence of God, and you don’t actually, sincerely want that, do you?

        • GSOB

….”Show me hard evidence, and I’ll believe you. ….”
          Read All of John 9
yes… that does qualify as ‘hard evidence’ in a court of law.
I wish to submit, your Honor, to the court of your approval. these 41 verses of the Gospel of John, chapter 9 for your scrutiny.
Even if you respond right away with no intention to do so,….. please get yourself a copy of the bible.
If you just open yourself up to read passages of sacred scripture, as I suggested, and be the fair minded, righteous person that you are, you just may catch a scent of angelic wings.

        • please

Show me hard evidence that God does not exist.

          • max gon

How can I provide evidence of something that does not exits? Are for real?

  • Walter B

First of all, the Mormon idea of being prepared for things not going well is an excellent idea and they should be applauded for it under any circumstances. As far as these Blood Moons go, were we not told that we would be given signs in the heavens? Signs that might tell us that we humans are really not doing our jobs all too well? So when again will a blood moon appear, 2033? That’s funny but isn’t that exactly 2000 years after the death of Jesus Christ? If that means nothing to you then don’t worry about it but if it does, perhaps we still have some time to get right with God. That would be individually because America is certainly headed in the opposite direction.

  • Infidel51

Whatever is going to happen is going to happen. Why does anyone waste any emotional or psychological energy trying to squeeze signs from heaven into every little thing in a fruitless attempt to tell the future. God has a plan and when you need to know it I doubt you will have to squeeze the meaning out of it. So relax, prepare, and enjoy your remaining time here with the rest of us. We are all in this together, one way or another.

What did humans evolve from? Thousands of fossils and fossil fragments of apes and humans have now been found — and they don’t show a steady progression from apes to humans at all. Fossils have been found in the wrong time-frames, put into the wrong categories before all the evidence was in, and what was once thought to be the ape-human family tree now actually has no trunk — just unconnected branches.

    • ter ber

      So true.

    • Derp

      What did humans evolve from?
Humans share a common ancestor with modern African apes, like gorillas and chimpanzees. Scientists believe this common ancestor existed5 to 8 million years ago. Shortly thereafter, the species diverged into two separate lineages. One of these lineages ultimately evolved into gorillas and chimps, and the other evolved into early human ancestors called hominids.

“Thousands of fossils and fossil fragments of apes and humans have now been found — and they don’t show a steady progression from apes to humans at all.”

You can’t be serious. I simple cursory search reveals just the opposite of what you said. So you are either misinformed, uneducated, or being intellectually dishonest. It’s always hard to tell with people who can’t accept evolution BTW What Degree do you hold in Forensics to make these statements?

“put into the wrong categories before all the evidence was in, and what
was once thought to be the ape-human family tree now actually has no

No animals have a Trunk on their tree of life. Duh. And all the hominid fossils are in the correct order. Please provide evidence for such claims. All animals evolved from Bacteria which came from RNA which in turn was created by simple proteins. You can also google “tree of life animals”

All of this information is readily available on many accredited university sites. Or if you like you can just google “Talking Origins”

Everything you are saying is 100% conjecture. Did your pastor tell you all of this? Where did you get this information from?

I would suggest visiting some local Museums and brush up on the actual facts before talking anymore
