Tide Thefts, Cargo Hijacking And Cattle Rustling: Why Is An Epidemic Of Thievery Sweeping America?

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

TideDesperate people do desperate things, and it appears that Americans are rapidly becoming a lot more desperate.  An epidemic of thievery is sweeping across America, and authorities are not quite sure what to make of it.  Down in Texas, cattle thieves can get up to $1,500 per head of cattle, and cattle rustling was up nearly 40 percent last year.  As you will read about below, cargo hijacking is becoming much more sophisticated, and it is being estimated that losses from cargo thefts will total about $216 million this year alone.  And for some reason, Tide laundry detergent has become a very hot commodity among common criminals all across America.  In fact, it is being reported that some grocery stores are “losing $10,000 to $15,000 a month” as a result of Tide thefts.  So why is all of this happening?  Well, as I have written about previously, crime is on the rise in the United States, and poverty is absolutely exploding.  In fact, according to the latest numbers from the U.S. Census Bureau, 49.2 percent of all Americans are receiving benefits from at least one government program each month.  Over the past five years, we have seen an unprecedented rise in the number of people that cannot take care of themselves without help from the government.  Millions upon millions of Americans that have been forced into poverty are becoming increasingly angry, frustrated and desperate.  And what we are watching right now is only just the beginning – all of this is going to get a whole lot worse.

When people think of the “social decay” that is happening to America, most of the time Texas and Oklahoma would not be the first places that come to mind.  But according to NPR, there was nearly a 40 percent rise in the theft of cows and horses down in that area of the country last year…

Ranchers saw a sharp jump in cattle rustling last year in Texas and Oklahoma. Over 10,000 cows and horses were reported missing or stolen. That’s an almost 40 percent increase from the year before. It’s a trend that’s surprised some in law enforcement.

And this is happening even though the penalties for cattle rustling have gotten much stronger…

Penalties against rustlers were toughened by Texas lawmakers in 2009. Now, the crime could put you in prison for up to 10 years. But ironically more and more cattle have gone missing or stolen since that law was passed.

Another trend that is baffling law enforcement authorities is the huge wave of cargo hijackings that they have been seeing.  According to a recent CBS News article, cargo thefts are becoming a lot more elaborate these days…

To steal huge shipments of valuable cargo, thieves are turning to a deceptively simple tactic: They pose as truckers, load the freight onto their own tractor-trailers and drive away with it.

It’s an increasingly common form of commercial identity theft that has allowed con men to make off each year with millions of dollars in merchandise, often food and beverages. And experts say the practice is growing so rapidly that it will soon become the most common way to steal freight.

You may not think that stealing truckloads of walnuts or cheese is a big deal, but the truth is that the dollar values of some of these thefts are absolutely staggering…

News reports from across the country recount just a few of the thefts: 80,000 pounds of walnuts worth $300,000 in California, $200,000 of Muenster cheese in Wisconsin, rib-eye steaks valued at $82,000 in Texas, $25,000 pounds of king crab worth $400,000 in California.

And this is not just happening in a few isolated locations.  We are literally seeing an epidemic of cargo theft that stretches from coast to coast…

Although cargo thieves prey on companies across the nation, the hot spots are places with shipping ports or rail hubs. California leads the nation. Large numbers of thefts have also been reported in Texas, Florida, New Jersey, Michigan, Illinois, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.

Perhaps most fascinating of all is the wave of Tide thefts that is sweeping the nation.  The following is an excerpt from a New York Magazine article from earlier this year…

The call that came in from a local Safeway one day in March 2011 was unlike any the Organized Retail Crime Unit of the Prince George’s County Police Department had fielded before. The grocery store, located in suburban Bowie, Maryland, had been robbed repeatedly. But in every incident the only products taken were bottles—many, many bottles—of the liquid laundry detergent Tide. “They were losing $10,000 to $15,000 a month, with people just taking it off the shelves,” recalls Sergeant Aubrey Thompson, who heads the team. When Thompson and his officers arrived to investigate, they stumbled onto another apparent Tide theft in progress and busted two men who’d piled 100 or so of the bright-orange jugs into their Honda. The next day, Thompson returned to the store’s parking lot to tape a television interview about the crimes. A different robber took advantage of the distraction to make off with twenty more bottles.

So why are criminals so interested in Tide detergent?

Well, apparently it is heavily used as currency in the drug trade

Southern California authorities say it’s a dirty business and a bizarre trend – drug users trading Tide detergent for crack.

The Riverside Press-Enterprise says it’s a nationwide problem – people are stealing the popular but expensive detergent and trading it for marijuana and crack cocaine.

San Bernardino police Sgt. Travis Walker says detectives raiding dope houses in recent years were puzzled when they found lots of Tide. Turns out it wasn’t being used to make drugs but to buy them.

We live at a time when an increasing number of Americans will do just about anything for money.

Down in Florida, one mother was so desperate for money that she was actually prostituting her three teenage daughters.  Two of them were under the age of 18…

A St. Cloud mother was picked up Thursday on charges of serving as her three teenage daughters’ madam in a West U.S. Highway 192 prostitution ring, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.

At 2:30 p.m., Paula Howard flagged down an undercover detective acting as a “John” in front of a bus stop and arranged for him to have sex with one of her girls, ages 16, 17, and 18, an arrest record states.

The daughter agreed to perform the act for $20 and hopped into the car, telling the detective, “Oh yea. That’s my family, but don’t even worry about it. They know what I do,” the report states.

But haven’t you heard?

Everything is just fine in America.  Barack Obama and the mainstream media keep telling us that over and over, so it must be true.

I think that we got a glimpse into the true condition of America last month when a “technical glitch” caused the system that processes food stamp card payments to malfunction for a couple of hours.  A Time Magazine article described what happened at one Wal-Mart in Louisiana…

Customers cleared shelves and police were called in to control crowds taking advantage of suddenly unlimited spending allowed on their Electronic Benefits Transfer cards, which are issued to recipients of government food stamps. Spending limits on the cards were reportedly disabled for about two hours.

When a store in Springhill, La., announced over the loudspeaker that the glitch was fixed, shoppers simply abandoned loaded carts, according to Springhill Police Chief Will Lynd.

And similar “mini-riots” happened in a bunch of other locations as well.

For example, customers at one Wal-Mart in Mississippi just started taking groceries out of the store that they hadn’t paid for when their food stamp cards were not accepted…

Customers staged a disturbance then walked out of a Mississippi Walmart store with groceries that hadn’t been paid for Saturday night after a computer glitch left them unable to use their food stamp cards.

People in 17 states found themselves unable to buy groceries with their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program cards after a routine check by vendor Xerox Corp. resulted in a temporary system failure.

Shortly after the mini-riot, managers decided to temporarily close the store, citing customer safety.

Keep in mind that all of this was caused by a “technical glitch” that only lasted for a few hours.

What would happen if there was a problem that lasted for much longer?

That is a sobering thing to think about.

And as I wrote about recently, all 47 million Americans on food stamps just had their benefits reduced on November 1st.  This is causing food banks all across the country to brace for a huge influx of needy people

Food banks across the country, stretched thin in the aftermath of the recession, are bracing for more people coming through their doors in the wake of cuts to the federal food stamp program.

Food stamp benefits to 47 million Americans were cut starting Friday as a temporary boost to the federal program comes to an end without new funding from a deadlocked Congress.

Under the program, known formally as the Supplemental Nutrition and Assistance Program, or SNAP, a family of four that gets $668 per month in benefits will find that amount cut by $36.

In fact, the president of the Food Bank for New York City says that members of her organization “are panicking”

As president of the Food Bank for New York City, Margaret Purvis expects those cuts will draw even more people to organizations that already provide 400,000 meals a day to hungry city folks.

“Our members are panicking,” she said as time wound down before the benefit decreases go into effect. “We’re telling everyone to make sure that you are prepared for longer lines.”

Purvis also told that “when people cannot afford to eat food” it has the potential to start “riots”…

“If you look across the world, riots always begin typically the same way: when people cannot afford to eat food,” Margarette Purvis, the president and CEO of the Food Bank for New York City, told Salon Monday. Purvis said that the looming cut would mean about 76 million meals “that will no longer be on the plates of the poorest families” in NYC alone – a figure that outstrips the total number of meals distributed each year by the Food Bank for New York City, the largest food bank in the country. “There will be an immediate impact,” she said.

So will we see riots as a result of these food stamp cuts?

No, I do not believe that we will see riots yet.

But the volcano of anger, frustration and desperation that is simmering just below the surface of this country continues to get hotter.

Someday it will explode.

What will you do when that happens?

Quote: “Desperate people do desperate things, and it appears that Americans are rapidly becoming a lot more desperate.”

In the words of Senor Celente: When people lose everything and have nothing else to lose, they LOSE IT !

That’s exactly what we are seeing more of these days and the scary part is this is the calm before the storm. Imagine what will happen when the EBT system is shutdown because we’re broke and the economy collapsed.

    • Syrin

Don’t underestimate the GARY mentality. What’s yours is his, and what’s his is his. He has no morals, no qualms about using force to take your property, and an insatiable greed. Multiply this by millions in the parasite class, and this is what you get. it will get worse. Mid November marks the beginning of the end.

      • piccadillybabe

Just curious, what is happening mid November to bring on the end?

  • Rodster

Keep in mind that with people not able to work they will resort to stealing to provide for themselves and their family. How about all those copper thefts?

  • Tim

So the drug dealers are accepting Tide detergent as payment for drugs. What then do the dealers do with the detergent? Sell it?

    • Not me

      they do laundry.

    • Basil_Bullion

      Make meth.

    • Orac4Prez

Absolutely! As soon as Rene opened her mouth, the drug lords saw a marketting opportunity for industrial strength mouthwash.

      Laundering money?

    • Sabido Robles

      Money laundering?!? (LOL!)

Maybe the Tide comes in handy when los narcotraficantes need to get out the blood stains. Things can get a little messy when your employer is Los Zeta or La Familia Michoacana.

    • PeaceAngel

They use it to cut coke and make meth.

  • K

Actually it makes perfect sense. People are desperate, but the old scams no longer work. Want to sell scrap metal, some states require I.D. So new scams are needed. No one has tracked food or grocery store products yet. So they steal that. Obviously they must have grocery stores willing to buy it. Or perhaps restaurants. When people can not make ends meet honestly. Many will make ends meet whatever way they can. This is a slippery slope. The laws ignored today, are the dozens of laws ignored tomorrow. Welcome to third world USA..

Trading Tide for cocaine and marijuana…

Something tells me that this black market is ending in South American socialist countries. Venezuela nationalized and heavily armed a toilet paper factory down there – the shortages in all commodities are staggering. Uruguay is reporting vast shortages in milk, power, bulk cargo, and such; along with their president legalizing growing cacao some years ago. Argentina and Paraguay are having large commodities shortages.

Natan Sharansky’s book “The Case for Democracy” states that the only reason socialism outside the US worked for so long is that the US and allies financially supported the dictators who were denouncing them at the same time as begging food and needs from those they demonized. It was a way for the US to keep stability in the world, and a way for the dictator to keep their people fed and happy while verbally attacking their hated enemy (who just fed them all).

So, with the US now going socialist, the rest of the dictators have fewer options to prop up their rule. The free peoples are no longer creating extra products and profits – there’s nothing for socialists to take for their systems. The black market is replacing the US handout.

    • Gay Veteran

the US is going fascist (the merger of state and corporate power)

Almost every example cited above has NOTHING to do with somebody who is desperate…these people are JUST PLAIN THIEVES…and as with any thief who sees an opportunity, they will steal you blind.

And the woman who prostituted her daughters…again, LAZY, NO GOOD, and just PLAIN EVIL!!

    • Orange Jean

      My thoughts exactly…

and so often it’s drugs and/or alcoholism involved. Think that’s too harsh or judgmental? I had a close friend (deceased now) who had 2 parents who were alcoholics; when they died she was about 12-13, and was sent to live with relatives. The people she was sent to live with started pimping her out… she was eventually rescued by a maiden aunty who saw the situation and was willing to risk social censure to save the girl from continuing to have to live in this situation… which happened in the 30s.

Drug dealers make big bucks, so even if they don’t have a “job” per se, I certainly would expect to find them poverty stricken. And don’t kid yourselves about drug cartels in border states and places where illegals have infiltrated as well.

    • Thank you. I have been scroling down the comments to see if anybody pointed out the lack of character in these people instead of excusing them and blaming “the government”. The gov is crap, but these people are criminals. Cattle rustling and freight hijacking implies organised crime or, in other words, professional criminals.

If needs be; make your own laundry detergent:

1 bar (or 4.5 ounces) of shaved bar soap (Dr. Bronner’s, Ivory, ZOTE, Fels-Naptha)
    1 cup of borax
1 cup of washing soda (also known as sodium carbonate).

Mix together at a low speed and keep in a non-metal container. Use 2 Tbsp per load (or 3-5 Tbsp for large or heavily soiled loads).

To make sodium carbonate at home, heat a metal container of sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) over an open heat source and weigh. When the weight stabilizes, then it’s sodium carbonate (washing soda).

    • MrsMoose

Yup, I started making my own laundry detergent quite some time ago. Stock up on the ingredients, and I can make my own for a long time, even after the hord arrives

    • tfb

We do this now and it’s awesome! Clothes smell fresh much longer than with commercial detergents too. Also throw in some of those flavor crystals or what the hell ever they are called for added scents.

      • guest

Laws have been passed in some states requiring bio-degradable detergent which doesn’t suds or clean clothes. This creates a black market for detergent that will clean clothes in those states.

    • smallergovnow

      Goes perfectly with my favorite…
If it ain’t broke the government will fix it until it is…

  • George_Smith

The reason for all of the “desperate” behavior is because Americans have lost their religion. It used to be that people would help each other and they wouldn’t steal because it was wrong. We used to have the 10 commandments displayed in public places. Teenage pregnancies were very few and couples living out of wedlock were not that common. Not today. Now that the government has usurped the place of God in our society, people look to the gov to supply their needs, and when the gov is found to be a poor provider and God, they begin to do things that are outrageous. Americans no longer look to God and His commandments.

Alexis De Tocqueville said it best, “America is great because America is good, and if America ever ceases to be good, America will cease to be great.”

    • otter1111

Good post. I believe the loss of our belief in God is at the root of almost all of our problems.

How about the worship of TWO gods, God and government? Don’t you think that earthly government, however tame, IS the anti-Christ? Does it not use force? Does it not offer tempting promises that turn out to be lies? Which are then replaced by more lies? Do you not pay tribute to this tyrant, lying to yourself all the while? Will you continue to be a slave to this despot? Will you not free yourself from dependency on it? Will you not non-violently, as Christ did, resist it? Is not obedience to tyranny rebellion to God? Is not rebellion to tyranny OBEDIENCE to God? In love do I tell you, do not step into any “church” that displays a national flag, that honors authority figures (except God), that coddles the wealthy, that does not despise 501 (c) 3 status, that does not truly promote the love of your fellow humans and the rest of God’s creation UNLESS to spread this message. Go now and be fishers of men.

      G. Smith: Many have quit org. churches and started home groups/online sermons, reading at home. Churches are 501c3 gov controlled money pits, with sissy man pleasing preachers and most the parishioners are there for social/business reasons. Immorality is rampant among church goers along with having kids w/o marriage..

      • George_Smith

I agree with what you’re saying here. Most of the mainline denominational churches are more like country clubs. It is getting very hard to find a decent church that just proclaims the Gospel and isn’t just counting heads and looking for more money.

Reading sermons and meeting in homes may end up being the best choice. The true church may end up being driven underground in this country anyway.

Church cannot be held in your home anymore. THE NDAA act of 2011 outlawed it and people are getting detained and eventually taken to concentration camps for doing it. A man in Arizona is in a huge fight with the NSA over this now. He has been fined more than 65,000 dollars so far and was holding prayer meetings prior to this for decades before it became against the law. He has lost his home to legal fees and there is no church to bail him out of jail as he awaits a trial that will NOT free him. IT is against the law to practice religion in your home.

        • laura m.

          P. angel: We meet in the country (no zoning). I heard about the Az case no doubt it was in an HOA. No gov can stop guests visiting if the area isn’t zoned or HOA! Inviting several people over will be low key, he had many and HOA’s are strict control freaks. If gov cracks down, people have to meet in small groups.

    • tfb

Actually, I have a bone to pick with this argument.
I work in a convention center where a mega church meets on Sundays and Wednesdays. They have elaborate stage sets, complete with a rock band, full blown light show, and giant screens with the pastor’s face plastered across them.
The best part…the preacher is in another building, in another city, broadcasting his “message” to 10 other locations just like it. Your God has been sold out, by “christians”.

      • George_Smith

I can’t argue with you on this. I do not support the kind of churches you describe here. They are part of the problem – not the solution.

      • Gay Veteran

mega church? yeah, that’s what Jesus had in mind

    • PeaceAngel

The baby boomers have been asleep for four decades and they raised an entire generation of lazy, entitled, uneducated, non patriotic, computer hynotized atheists. THEY did not go to PTA or church and the Marxist government screwed up their kids. IF you see the comment on yahoo or other sites like it you will see they all feel this way. THE feds have overtaken the nation to create the NWO and I blame my generation for it all. THIS takeover started a hundred years ago with two NAZIS who became the Bilderberg families who now own the world and have made the US the world model for the NWO. IT is the law now in the US and this new generation is well informed on the fact and they don’t care. America is over.

    • Gay Veteran

riiiight, all our problems is because government isn’t posting the 10 commandments all over the place

Since Democrats killed GOD and trash canned the Bible the country has been increasingly ungovernable as the Founders wisely predicted. You secular Libertarians can’t improve or govern the country without God on your side.

    • Ohai2u

Would you social conservatives be alright with tolerating or legalizing items which might be taboo in current society but do not run afowl of Biblical law? Such as the legalization of cannabis?

      • FounderChurch

The Bible is the smartest book ever written, by far. That is substantially why I am a Christian. But I see similar values in ALL other serious religions. And ALL of them speak against INTOXICANTS of ALL sorts. People in their evil sinful nature all want these, even animals do, but they are not good for anyone, much less society. That is because all you read is leftist historical revisionism taught by your Democrat Commie Atheist teachers. Try reading something else for a change.

Millions of people are not forced into poverty they choose poverty, we all have chooses no one puts a gun to your head and makes your life situation. People just want a fast dollar even if it’s selling there own children people are soulless they have lost all sense of self respect or morales.

    • wally

Have you noticed Karen that not so long ago when a death happened to be caught on video people were horrified to see it. Now it seems that people laugh when that happens to their fellow man. Look at that stupid reality show that shows videos about stupid criminals and bad drivers and insane accidents. People are getting seriously hurt or killed and people are laughing and comedians are making jokes about it.

      • guest

People are becoming inured to tragedy as it is happening at a faster pace. If the shooting at LAX had happened a year ago it would have been on the news, all day, for two days. The week before a teacher was killed by a student. Very short news time. The next bubble to burst will be the funeral bubble. People won’t be able to pay for the burial of loved ones. County plots for indigents will fill up and after a short ceremony of a few words the bodies will be incinerated for energy.

  • mleblanc138

You eat food? You must be rich. Sadly that’s pretty much where we’re headed.

  • greanfinisher .

In depressionary times as this, people will poach deer, rabbits, turkeys, cattle, chickens, goats, wood, gasoline, tires, linen and anything else not nailed down. Be prepared for a wave of vandalism, robberies and assaults as the situation deteriorates further.

    • Sabido Robles

Be prepared for the 3 S’s. Shoot, shovel, shut up………..

    • laura m.

Yes it will get worse. Even in the 80’s in some areas you had to keep things put away, not left outdoors. Bikes, tools were stolen and way back this was happening. depending on where you lived. Look like the average person so if you have wealth drive basic cars (Kia or Hyundai, Nissan, etc) dress down and stay low key.

      • greanfinisher .

Yes, I unfortunately happened to be residing in one of those areas in the ’80’s (Grand Rapids, MI) as I experienced a long wave of vandalisms and thievery on my vehicles. Moreover, the neighbors didn’t respect you nor your property either. It was pathetic!

    • condaggitt

jesus was a test tube baby artificially inseminated into mary and the holy ghost was gods doctor who performed the operation………how can anyone read the bible differently?

  • Kim

I’m taking a break from these websites until Michael cleans it up. There is no reason for verbal abuse in these discussion. Where is the moderator?

    • condaggitt

I dont see much abuse here, unless people ask politely for you to back up such outrageous statements, and you wussie out on them.

      • Kim

If telling people to go die and calling people N isn’t verbal abuse, I don’t know what is. Whatever, not my business.

        • condaggitt

Kim we know the difference between Blacks and N’s…and its the N’s that are causing almost all the trouble……its not racist if it’s true!

        • PeaceAngel

Kim you need to go onto any all black operated websites where the verbal abuse is really happening. IT does not happen here as I told you in your former post. You can see some really vile stuff including lots of talk about sick sexual acts and the moderators are part of it. You are lying about it happening here. I thought when i read your first comment that you girls posting on the wrong site. I have been on here twice a week for more than a year and YOU have never been here and Micheal’s content has NOT changed.

          • Lisa

she is talking about the comments that have been getting through lately not what Michael is posting. I have been quite shocked by some of these things that are in the comment section. Michael should at least have filters that disallow certain words in the comment section.

          • Kim

I think he does but people have ways of getting around the filters.

          • Hammerstrike

Why should Michael disallow certain words anywhay?

Because some people would be butthurt over a few words written on the internet?

Talk about nanny-state mentality! Sensitive idiots should just grow a skin instead.

          • Kim

I used to be a member of a Yuku forum and I’ve seen some pretty bad stuff. Just not my thing anymore. Just because there are worst discussion forums out there, doesn’t mean I have to tolerate it here. Anyway, it looks like some moderating was done this morning. :-))))))

        • Hammerstrike

          Example, please?

    • laura m.

Kim: the SHTF website is full of trolls like Durango Kidd who is a GOP control freak, and other trolls. This website is a disaster full of verbal name calling, women being called bitches, use of the N word, cursing others in the forum, name calling..I quit them as they are the patriots worse one with over 500 comments for each article. Losers for sure. Waste of time for people who are bored stiff. Mack Salvo needs to clean it up. Friends quit reading it as it was so vulgar

      • PeaceAngel

What are you two talking about?? I read everything Michael writes and have for more than a year and the things you are saying are lies. First of all he has a day job and a family with small children. HE is not living on his three websites. I have never ever heard or seen anything you are saying in your comments. I can see that many comments have been taken down probably since Michael came home from his day job. IF you check it he writes this stuff in the middle of the night.

NO ONE calls anyone a name worse than stupid liberal. NO ONE has ever used the B word or the N word in addressing anyone. THESE are blatant lies. About 35-40 people daily read his articles which are the best researched on the internet with proof of all he says and HOW in the world do you come up with 500 comments for each article. You probably have no friends and none of them ever read Michael’s articles and none of them have come and gone in the past year. YOU ARE LYING which makes me think you are a cyberwarrior taxpayer paid Obama troll. Are you being paid to run around and lie on different conservative sites? Are you an American predator like the people that are profiled in this article???? If you don’t want to know what is going on in the nation then put your head back in the sand, but don’t lie here.

Michael I believe you should take down the lies perpetrated by these women, but somehow I don’t think you will. They are the predators we all need to fear.

        • laura m.

Peace angel: You didn’t read my article in full. I named the website: SHTF owned by Mack Salvo, nothing to do with this web site!! Get your eyes checked/go to SHTF and read the vulgar comments using four letter words, etc. Michaels website is separate, stupid!

      • Hammerstrike

False, sorry to burts your bubble but ideological disagreement and lack of censorship is not trolling.

    • garand555

I’ve found that this place is rather tame compared to other sites. Being anonymous tends to let people state what they really think. I’ve found it’s best to have thick skin on the internet and not worry about what others say unless you are having a serious discussion, or you want to troll the troll.

  • Sandbagger

I wonder about those cargo thefts. I mean, it’s not my little ol’ neighbor lady committing these crimes…not at that level. I would say these are white collar level. The food obviously has wealthy buyers before it’s stolen. Crab? Muenster? Who is taking receipt of this stuff? Not Joe American.

I wouldn’t consider this to be a very good example of the desperation of the common man. It’s an example of piracy.

  • Richard O. Mann

More of the agenda for the taking down of this country. O and his crew know exactly what they are doing. Riots are needed so he can implement marshal law, and emergency war powers. It’s all coming together nicely.

  • Michael L Harp

Desperate people do desperate things on my farm and they won’t be doing much of anything else. Ever again.

The rich are tightening their belts and holding back more than usual too. This is another reason for this shortage. You know this is evidence that Globalism isn’t working. God will not sit by idly and allow the poor , elderly , and children to suffer because of a bunch of rich styngy bastards that want to hoard all the worlds wealth and then that aint enough , they gotta control you too. They want power to go along with having everything they need and more. It’s gotta stop somewhere.

    • Lisa

Wow! Have you ever been to Ethiopia or India or Nigeria or….Where’s God there?

      • Chacha

wow… you compared india to ethopia and nigeria. its tells how far or closer you are to reality.

  • El Pollo de Oro

Let’s say that there’s a frog in a pot of water on the stove. Gradually, the water gets hotter and hotter, boiling and scalding the froggie and turning him into frog soup. The frog is us.

Some preppers have asked me how soon I think the you-know-what will hit the fan or how soon The Desperate People Doing Desperate Things Tax will be coming to The Banana Republic of America. But instead of trying to predict when the Day of Reckoning will come, the thing to remember is that this is a long-term decline for the BRA. And the worse economic conditions become, the worse the thievery and violence will become.

“The cities are going to look like Dodge City. They’re going to be uncontrollable. You’re going to have gangs in control. Motorcycle marauders. You’re not going to have enough police or
    federales—just like Mexico—to control the situation.”—Gerald Celente

“We are going down the path that other failed governments and institutions have gone down historically, and I don’t see it turning around.”—The Patriot Nurse

So forget about trying to predict exactly when the you-know-what will hit the fan. Just remember that the water is getting hotter and hotter for that frog in the pot on the stove. This is death by 1000 cuts (or more like 100,000 cuts). When the money stops flowing down to the man on the street, the blood begins to flow in the streets (Gerald Celente). And there will be plenty of blood flowing in this Third World hellhole.

  • DJohn1

We have some of the greatest thieves in the world. It began when Europe and England sent their best talented thieves to the colonies. These thieves thrived here. They bred and had very talented children.

It might be what kills the movement towards world government. These people are not controlled by any means. They will find a way around it.
It is why dictatorships will never succeed for very long here. The thieves will not allow it.
What has really gone wrong? The best answer I have come up with is when we went to an income tax years ago and attempted to kill small business in this country with corporations. When we attempted to become a world government.
Keeping government small is a very hard task. But it needs to happen.
We need to move backwards to the time when government was supported by tariffs on imports. We need to uncomplicate things. Get rid of the many rules. Keep things simple.

The worst judge of the 20th century declared that ignorance is no excuse. The problem with that is no one actually knows all of the rules anymore. We have went from a simple government to one that is so complex that no one really knows what all the rules are.
Your letter agencies are responsible for a lot of this. IRS and EPA rules top the list of most confusing of any in the world. 8 out of 10 agents with the IRS do not even give the same interpretation of the tax laws.
Then you have the government itself.
They are doing a lot of things that are against the very laws they claim to protect. They are murdering people throughout the world. That is simply wrong in so many ways. So are the rejection of the people’s rights to worship as they please. Lies to the very people they claim to represent.
It is no wonder that people are out there doing immoral and illegal things on the streets of America. Look who they have for an example . . .

    • jkj

Perfectly put! We created all this stuff! That’s all it is, we made it up, we squandered great gifts to control things and have shiny things and gizmos.

Tax the greedy to help the needy-stop the corporate welfare-make corporations pay their fair share now.

The wealth redistribution will continue peaceably or not it will continue.

Last month, Walmart CEO Bill Simon revealed rather cluelessly that
the vast majority of Walmart workers, as many as 825,000 in the United
States, earn less than $25,000 a year. The sum is so low the average
worker for the country’s biggest employer is struggling to make ends
meet. By matching its low prices with insultingly low wages, Walmart
forces taxpayers to subsidize its workforce through social safety net programs.

  • Ralfine

Whatever you do, it is never the right experience. Even employers claiming to be on the forefront of technology are looking for those top of the class with 20 years experience in that technology that didnt exist 10 years ago.

Tide is such a rip off anyway. You can get clothes just as clean with Dollar Tree brands that do 32 loads for $1. Laundry detergents have come a long way and there is no need to spend that kind of money on Tide. People just think it is better when it isn’t and now they are stealing the stuff. Maybe they use it to make “meth” who knows.

I live in a very small town that does not see a whole lot of crime. Well that has been changing lately. Last year we had a guy that was breaking into peoples sheds over in the next subdivision right next to mine. How he got caught was one homeonwer came home at lunchtime, caught him in the act, chased him and caught him. Lucky for us he’s a reserve cop. Here’s the kicker, besides him, there are 3 full-time cops that live in this neighborhood. Talk about brazen!!! Then this summer on my end of the block cars got their windows busted out (including our daughters) & whatever was left in them was stolen. Then last night just a few county roads over an 82 yr old man & his 78 yr old wife were robbed. He answered the door @ 9 p.m. & two black guys busted in and hit him over the head with a lead pipe. They got money, electronics & jewerly. The cops are still looking for them. Luckly this man was not killed nor his wife. To say I’m getting nervous is an understatement.

In LA they steal the batteries out of cars parked in apt. lots at night. If you take anything metal like copper wire or parts to recycling you have to show picture i.d. and it gets recorded. In the area that I was in, mainly low income Hispanic it was unusual to see a plastic bottle or soft drink can on the sidewalk, those get taken to recycling for cash daily. The trash cans and apt. bins are cleaned out by gloved scavengers, they climb in the bins to see what they can get for recycling. Best not to mess with them, it’s how their kids eat.

  • Missoula

At the beginning you state that people are dependent on gov’t handouts. Are you talking about the bank boys and their welfare bailouts or were you talking about the welfare mothers?

  • Jakob Stagg

The government seems to be taking the easy way out, rather than do what allows people to make a living honestly. It is much easier to murder people where ever they stand for no reason other than wanting them gone. Is that a Hellfire missile engine starting……
