If you are a global leader, millions upon millions of people are deeply affected by the public statements that you make.  So when you are in such a position, it is absolutely imperative to be incredibly careful with your words.  Unfortunately, prominent politicians all over the globe are increasingly spewing hatred for certain groups even as they pretend to be champions for “tolerance”.  When ordinary citizens hear such hateful statements, many of them inevitably come to the conclusion that it is okay to hate those groups too.  Nearly a century ago, the Germans gave us a prime example of where this sort of hatred can ultimately lead, and we never want such a thing to ever happen again. From coast to coast, we are seeing businesses close because they simply cannot find enough workers.  In the entire history of the United States, we have never seen anything like this happen before.  In fact, prior to this pandemic we had a chronic problem with unemployment that stretched back for decades.  Economists insisted that our economy would never be able to produce enough jobs for everyone, but they were wrong.  Today, there are more than 10 million open positions in this country and employers are literally begging for people to come to work.  Fierce competition for good workers has become extremely intense, and this is one of the factors that is causing millions of Americans to quit their current jobs each month.  On Tuesday, the Bureau of Labor Statistics released the numbers for the month of November… (Read More...)

Over the past several days I have had some time to think, and my thoughts have repeatedly turned to the current state of the Internet.  For a couple of decades after it was popularized, the Internet was one of the greatest tools for free speech that the world has ever seen.  It allowed ordinary people like me to share truth on a massive scale with other ordinary people all over the planet.  I have always been grateful for that opportunity, but now our ability to share truth with one another over the Internet is being systematically eroded.  Nobody can deny that this is taking place, because it is literally happening right in front of our eyes.  Over the past decade, control of the Internet has become increasingly centralized.  The big tech companies have become exceptionally powerful, and they have become addicted to using that power to suppress speech that they do not like. Most people simply do not understand that we really are moving into a long-term economic emergency.  So much of the economic optimism that fueled rallies in the financial markets throughout 2022 was based on a belief that the COVID pandemic would soon be brought to an end.  Well, that obviously has not happened.  After everything that has been done, the COVID pandemic in the United States is now worse than ever.  In fact, on Wednesday there were 465,470 newly confirmed cases in the United States alone.  That shattered the old daily record by more than 100,000.  The Omicron variant is spreading like wildfire, and this is going to cause mass panic during the early stages of 2022. We live at a time when global food supplies are getting tighter and tighter and global food prices just keep going higher and higher.  Bizarre weather patterns and widespread natural disasters have been playing havoc with food production all over the planet, and the COVID pandemic has thrown worldwide supply chains into a state of complete and utter chaos.  As a result, the world is “currently battling the worst hunger crisis this century”, and it is expected to get even worse in 2022.  Of course this is just the beginning.  For a very long time, I have been warning that global trends indicate that we are heading toward a horrifying global famine, and that is just one of the reasons why I have been relentlessly encouraging my readers to get prepared while they still can. Americans have more money in their pockets than they ever have before.  That sounds like really great news, but it isn’t, because the cost of living is rising much faster than our incomes are.  In addition, much of the “new wealth” that has been created over the past couple of years has ended up in the hands of the very wealthy, and this has caused the gap between the rich and the poor to grow even wider.  As for the middle class, it is being systematically hollowed out by “Bidenflation”, and that process is only going to accelerate during the early stages of 2022.
