When It Comes To 2022, You Should Definitely Prepare For The Worst

If you have a bad feeling about 2022, you are not alone. As we approach the new year, it seems like things are going wrong all around us. We are facing the most epic supply chain crisis in our history, inflation is out of control, vaccine mandates are killing careers and forcing people out of jobs all over the country, and America is the most deeply divided that I have ever seen in my entire lifetime. Meanwhile, another wave of the pandemic appears to be building, our hospitals are already packed with non-COVID patients, global hunger is on the rise, and a major war could erupt in the Middle East at literally any moment. Unfortunately, I am entirely convinced that many of the problems that we are currently dealing with will escalate to an entirely new level in 2022.

For example, if you think that inflation is bad now, just wait until you see what is coming. We just got more evidence that wholesale inflation numbers are absolutely soaring…

New wholesale inflation numbers from September are in and once again prove the rapid increase in prices for everyday items isn’t “transitory” as President Joe Biden has repeatedly claimed.

Wholesale prices rose by 8.6 percent compared to September 2020, matching the largest increase on record.

The days of relatively low inflation are gone for good. As wholesale inflation numbers continue to spike at a very alarming rate, it is inevitable that these cost increases will be passed along to consumers.

Bidenflation keeps on roaring.

Unfortunately, some corporations have already announced price hikes that will go into effect in 2022.

For example, check out the increases that Kraft Heinz has planned for January 9th…

In a letter to a regional distributor to grocery stores obtained by CNN Business, Kraft Heinz said it plans to raise prices on hundreds of items beginning on January 9, including varieties of Jell-O gelatin and pudding, which will jump from anywhere between 7 percent and 16 percent, and Bagel Bites frozen snacks, which will see an increase of roughly 10 percent. Meanwhile, Cool Whip topping varieties will see an increase of 7 to 10 percent. The cost of EZ Mac will rise 3.5 percent, while a 7.25-ounce dish of Kraft Big Bowl Mac & Cheese will see a 20 percent price hike.

A 20 percent price hike for mac and cheese?

If you love mac and cheese, this would be a good time to start hoarding.

Meanwhile, the price of gasoline continues to rise very aggressively…

Gas prices soared to a seven-year high, reaching a nationwide average of $3.42 as of Tuesday, according to data from the American Automobile Association.

That’s 16 cents higher than a month ago, or $1.31 more than a year ago, and 80 cents more than in 2019, according to AAA.

I have been relentlessly warning that very painful inflation would come, and what we have experienced so far is just the beginning of a long national nightmare.

As I discussed earlier this week, our unprecedented supply chain crisis is one of the primary factors that is causing inflation to run so hot. In particular, the global shortage of computer chips has been significantly affecting levels of production in countless other industries, and now we are being told that this shortage will last “well into next year”…

The latest dose of reality was offered up by Infineon’s CEO, who said this week that the chip shortage would last “well into next year,” according to Bloomberg.

Infineon a German semiconductor manufacturer founded in 1999 that is one of the 10 largest semiconductor manufacturers in the world. Sales to the automotive industry make up about 40% of the company’s revenue.

CEO Reinhard Ploss made the comments at an auto conference this week, stating that the company wouldn’t be able to work off its order backlog until 2022.

Of course the CEO of Infineon was still trying to be optimistic when he made those comments.

In reality, there appears to be no end in sight for the chip shortage.

The supply chain crisis is also deeply affecting the distribution of food all over the planet, and that even includes food banks here in the United States…

The ripple effect of the supply chain crisis continues— now, it’s disrupting food banks.

“When there’s a shortage in supply chain, it makes it much more difficult for us to be able to provide our clients with food,” said Linda Hansen, the food bank director at Wellspring Interfaith Social Services.

I am so thankful for all of the wonderful food banks around the country that do such a great job of feeding so many needy people.

Unfortunately, their job is going to become increasingly difficult as our supply chain woes intensify.

And without a doubt, our supply chain woes will get a whole lot worse once the new OSHA mandate goes into effect. A ruling by the Firth Circuit has temporarily suspended the mandate as litigation moves forward, and that is good news. But eventually it is probably inevitable that the U.S. Supreme Court will be forced to take up this matter, and the U.S. Supreme Court has made bad decision after bad decision in recent years.

Meanwhile, the Biden administration is telling businesses to ignore the Fifth Circuit and to “move forward” with getting their workers vaccinated…

The White House on Monday said businesses should move forward with President Joe Biden’s vaccine and testing requirements for private businesses, despite a federal appeals court ordering a temporary halt to the rules.

“People should not wait,” White House Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre told reporters during a briefing. “They should continue to move forward and make sure they’re getting their workplace vaccinated.”

If the U.S. Supreme Court ultimately rules that Biden’s OSHA mandate is legal, it will be a death blow for our economy, and it will be a death blow for liberty and freedom in the United States.

So the stakes are incredibly high, and I do not have much faith in the U.S. Supreme Court at all.

But even if we want to totally disregard the OSHA mandate for now, 2022 is still shaping up to be a really nightmarish year.

Things are bad now, but they will soon get even worse.

Used Vehicle Prices Hyperinflate As Inflation Begins To Spiral Out Of Control All Over America

It turns out that all of the “doom and gloomers” that were warning that we would eventually experience nightmarish inflation were right after all. In particular, vehicle prices have become exceedingly painful in recent months. Due to a crippling global shortage of computer chips, production of new vehicles is way down, and a lot of that demand has shifted into the used vehicle market. Over the past year, used vehicle prices have escalated at a pace that we have never seen before in our entire history, and things reached a crescendo during the month of October. If you can believe it, used vehicle prices increased by 9.2 percent last month…

The industry’s key index of used vehicle prices jumped another 9.2% over the span of just a month. That puts the index 38% higher than a year ago — compared to “just” 27% for the same stat in September.

If used vehicle prices rose by 9.2 percent for an entire year, that would be really bad.

For that to happen in just one month is simply breathtaking.

Overall, used vehicle prices are up a total of 38 percent over the past year, and they are now up a total of 59 percent since October 2019.

So if you purchased a new vehicle within the past couple of years, it may now be worth more than when it was brand new.

If that isn’t “hyperinflation”, what would you call it?

I can’t imagine that used vehicle prices will continue to rise at an exponential pace like this, but “experts” have been saying the same thing for months and prices just continue to accelerate.

The funny thing is that used vehicle prices usually go down in October…

October typically sees above average vehicle depreciation and therefore used price declines. This October was the first October in the history of the Manheim Index data, which dates to 1997, to see a non-seasonally adjusted price increase in October.

Of course we are seeing very painful inflation in other sectors of the economy as well.

For example, some meat prices are up “about 40% from a year ago”…

Supermarkets say shoppers are buying more store-brand meat products and trading down from beef to less-expensive alternatives such as chicken or pork, after prices for products such as rib-eye climbed about 40% from a year ago, according to research firm IRI. Some consumers are replacing boneless chicken breast with cheaper bone-in chicken, retailers said.

As food prices continue to soar, eventually it will get to a point where big corporations are putting armed guards on food trucks in order to protect deliveries from being hijacked.

The worst supply chain crisis in American history is one of the primary reasons why prices are beginning to spiral out of control.

A couple days ago, Joe Biden attempted to explain why this is happening…

“It’s backed up because peoples supplies or materials that end up being on our kitchen table or in our in in our our fam, our our our life, guess what? There close those plants because they have COVID.”

What does that even mean?

As things get worse and worse, our leaders in Washington seem to have no answers and no solutions.

It is being projected that this will be a very cold winter in many areas of the country, and heating bills are expected to be way higher than ever before…

With consumers already dealing with the fastest price increases in decades, another unwelcome uptick is on the horizon: a widely expected increase in winter heating bills.

After plunging during the pandemic as the global economy slowed, energy prices have roared upward. Natural gas, used to heat almost half of U.S. households, has almost doubled in price since this time last year. The price of crude oil — which deeply affects the 10 percent of households that rely on heating oil and propane during the winter — has soared by similarly eye-popping levels.

When she was asked about this, this is how Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm responded…

Americans should expect to pay higher prices to heat their homes this winter, Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm said Sunday.

“Yeah, this is going to happen,” she told CNN’s Dana Bash. “It will be more expensive this year than last year.”

Things are so bad that they aren’t even trying to put spin on the ridiculously high energy prices any longer.

And heating costs are expected to go even higher in the months ahead as we get into the middle of the winter…

Last month, the Energy Information Administration (EIA) released a report warning that the cost of heating oil is expected to rise approximately 43% compared to last year to due to “higher expected fuel costs as well as more consumption of energy due to a colder winter.”

Meanwhile, the agency expects propane costs to rise by 54%, natural gas costs to rise by 30% and electricity costs to rise by 6%.

Needless to say, government projections almost always turn out to be way too optimistic.

Let’s just hope that the Biden administration’s reckless energy policies don’t result in widespread shortages this winter. One analyst that was interviewed by Fox News is actually warning that if things get bad enough we could actually see Americans “freezing in their homes”…

“I hope it doesn’t end like this, but where I see it going is unfortunately the same thing that happened in February in Texas: People freezing in their homes,” he said, adding, “Most of the time when it’s extremely cold or there’s a real bad polar vortex situation, typically it’s pretty cloudy and there’s not a lot of wind.”

Let us pray that things do not get that crazy in the months to come.

But without a doubt, this is going to be a difficult winter for millions upon millions of Americans.

During the early stages of 2022, we should expect more inflation, more supply chain problems and more economic chaos.

Decades of very foolish decisions are now starting to catch up with us in a major way, and nobody in Washington seems to have a plan that will pull us out of this mess.

Where Did They Go? There Are Supposedly 107 Million Working Age Americans That Do Not Have A Job Right Now

We are being told that we are in the midst of the worst worker shortage in the history of the United States, but the numbers that we are being given by the federal government suggest that there should be no shortage of workers. As I will detail in this article, we are being told that there are 107 million working age Americans that are not employed right now. That is an astoundingly high figure. In fact, it is much, much higher than the peak that we hit during the “Great Recession” of 2008 and 2009. Of course back then we had millions upon millions of unemployed Americans that were absolutely desperate for a job. Today, the opposite is true. There are millions upon millions of open jobs, and employers are doing everything that they can to entice people to come to work. They are dramatically raising wages, they are handing out huge signing bonuses, they are offering to pay for college, and in some cases they are even completely waiving drug testing requirements. But even though all of this is happening, we still have 107 million working age Americans on the sidelines.

On Friday, we got some brand new employment numbers from the Labor Department. According to those numbers, there are more than 100 million Americans that are considered to be “not in the labor force” right now…

The Labor Department’s Bureau of Labor Statistics announced on Friday that 100,450,000 people in this country were not in the labor force in October, up 38,000 from the 100,412,000 in September.

This is the 14th straight month that this “not in the labor force” number has remained above 100,000,000.

But that figure doesn’t give us the full number of potential workers that are on the sidelines, because it doesn’t include anyone that is officially unemployed…

Persons who are neither employed nor unemployed are not in the labor force. This category includes retired persons, students, those taking care of children or other family members, and others who are neither working nor seeking work.

So to get the full number of working age Americans that are “potential workers”, we need to add in those that are officially considered to be “unemployed”, and according to the Federal Reserve that number currently stands at 7.4 million.

Once we add 100 million to 7 million, that gives us a grand total of 107 million working age Americans that do not have a job right now.

Why can’t we get more of them to go back to work?

Of course there are many that were not working before the pandemic came along and that still have no intention of working now.

We aren’t really concerned about them.

But what should alarm all of us is that the number of Americans that were working just before the pandemic was much higher than the number of Americans that are working now.

So where did all of those workers go?

Are they just lazy?

Are some of them sitting at home collecting government checks?

Have some of them become incapacitated?

Have some of them died?

Needless to say, an increasing number of Americans are not working in their chosen fields right now because they have been forced out of their jobs by various local mandates.

The good news is that the big OSHA mandate which was scheduled to go into effect on January 4th has been temporarily put on hold by the Fifth Circuit court of appeals…

President Joe Biden‘s rule forcing businesses of over 100 employees to mandate the Covid vaccine has been temporarily halted by the Fifth Circuit court of appeals.

Attorneys general for several states, including Texas, Louisiana, and Utah, joined advocacy and business groups in the petition, which is not the only legal challenge faced by the administration over the rule.

Many conservatives seem to think that this is some sort of massive court victory.

It is not.

It is just a temporary order issued by one court to halt enforcement of the mandate while litigation proceeds.

Ultimately, many courts will be looking at this mandate, and I am entirely convinced that eventually this will get to the U.S. Supreme Court.

And at this point I have very, very little faith in the U.S. Supreme Court.

Meanwhile, the Biden administration is already talking about creating an additional mandate for companies that have less than 100 employees…

The Biden-Harris administration on Thursday is weighing if they should expand the vaccine mandate for companies employing fewer than 100 employees.

According to Occupational Safety and Health Administration’s (OSHA) federal rules released Thursday, the agency is “seeking comment to help the agency” determine if smaller employers with fewer than 100 employees can implement a coronavirus vaccine mandate “without undue disruption.”

They want to make it so that there is no escape.

If you do not comply with their orders, they want to make it so that you will not be able to work anywhere.

There are also rumors that the Biden administration is actually considering a national mandate for children that attend schools.

When CDC Director Rochelle Walensky was asked about this, her response was more than a little bit alarming…

“I will always encourage that parent to get their child vaccinated, and speak to them about the information and communication, and education that they need in order to get their children vaccinated,” Walensky said. “Right now, at this moment, those decisions are made at the jurisdictional level as they are for vaccination of other all — other vaccine preventable diseases among children.”

The Democrats don’t seem to understand that the mandates are the number one reason why they just did so poorly in Virginia and elsewhere.

And if they keep pushing these mandates, they will get soundly defeated in 2022 and 2024.

But they are going ahead with them anyway.

It is almost as if they don’t care about the political consequences.

In the short-term, the various mandates that are being implemented around the nation will force millions of highly qualified Americans out of their jobs. Doing this in the midst of the worst worker shortage in our history is absolutely insane.

In the long-term, the consequences of these mandates will set the stage for a societal meltdown of epic proportions.

We were such a divided nation before Biden announced these mandates, but now we are rapidly approaching a point where national unity may no longer be possible.

A house divided will surely fall, and thanks to Biden we are now facing divisions that may never be repaired.

Into The Abyss We Go…

Why won’t our politicians ever listen? Just two days after voters made it exceedingly clear that they hate mandates, the Biden administration has announced that the nationwide OSHA mandate will go into effect on January 4th. Are Biden and his minions this dense, or do they just not care what the American people think? It has been estimated that the new OSHA mandate will cover approximately 80 million Americans, and it could potentially result in millions of highly qualified workers losing their jobs in early 2022.

What the Biden administration is trying to do is completely unconstitutional, and red states are already challenging it in court. Many people may not realize it yet, but this is one of the most important turning points in U.S. history.

From an economic standpoint, this new mandate is going to be absolutely disastrous. We are already in the midst of the worst worker shortage in all of U.S. history, and we are currently dealing with a supply chain crisis of epic proportions. Forcing millions of Americans out of their jobs right in the middle of the upcoming winter will take both the worker shortage and the supply chain crisis to entirely new levels.

But Biden is going to do it anyway.

On Thursday, we learned that January 4th has been set as the official deadline for compliance with the new OSHA mandate…

Tens of millions of Americans who work at companies with 100 or more employees will need to be vaccinated against COVID-19 by Jan. 4 or get tested for the virus weekly. The new government rules were issued Thursday.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration says companies that fail to comply could face penalties of nearly $14,000 per violation.

If the company that you work for has 100 or more employees, you are covered by this mandate.

Needless to say, many employers will be frightened into submission by the extremely high financial penalties. Those companies that are deemed to be “repeat offenders” could potentially “face a maximum fine of $136,532”…

Repeat offenders or those found to be willfully noncompliant could face a maximum fine of $136,532. It is not immediately clear what constitutes a repeat offender.

Of course many businesses across the country have no intention of ever complying with this new mandate.

Realizing this is the case, the Biden administration will be secretly sending out OSHA spies to conduct surprise inspections…

OSHA staffers will be doing random inspections to check if businesses are complying and employees could have to pay for their own tests out of pocket. The agency is using emergency orders that usually deal with workers exposed to ‘grave dangers’ to enforce the standards.

GOP lawmakers responded with fury and said some unvaccinated Americans were being forced to decide between putting food on the table or getting the shot, while retailers said the new rules will put an ‘unnecessary’ burden on businesses before the holiday season.

It’s official.

We now live in a dystopian nightmare.

And many local regimes are also choosing to become increasingly authoritarian. For example, just check out the new rules for children that will soon be implemented in San Francisco…

San Francisco will soon require children as young as 5 to show proof of Covid-19 vaccination to enter certain indoor public spaces like restaurants, entertainment venues and sporting events, public health officials said this week.

The local mandate already requires children and adults over the age of 12 to show proof that they are vaccinated before entering those places. Now, city health officials are planning to extend the health order to children ages 5 to 11, the group newly eligible for the shot.

America used to be the “land of the free”, but that is clearly not true anymore.

The months ahead are not going to be pleasant. As mandates choke the life out of our economy, the ongoing shortages are going to get even worse and prices are going to go a lot higher.

In fact, we are already being told to brace ourselves for “sticker shock” when we go to buy meat…

For America’s meateaters, this is a problem. Some cuts have soared 25 percent over the past year, while others are fetching near record prices, making meat one of the biggest contributors to pandemic inflation. And industry experts expect meat to keep gaining through the holidays and beyond.

“The sticker shock is what we all need to be prepared for,” said Bindiya Vakil, chief executive officer of supply-chain consultant Resilinc. “This is here to stay, at least through the summer of 2022.”

The good news is that nobody in this country is starving at this point.

The bad news is that food prices around the world continue to escalate dramatically, and this is pushing millions upon millions of people in poorer countries into hunger. This week, we learned that global food prices shot up another 3 percent in the month of October…

A United Nations index tracking staples from wheat to vegetable oils climbed 3% to a fresh decade high in October, threatening even higher grocery bills for households that have already been strained by the pandemic. That could also add to central banks’ inflation worries and risks worsening global hunger that’s at a multiyear high.

As I have been relentlessly warning, a plethora of factors have combined to create a “perfect storm” for food prices…

Bad weather hit harvests around the world this year, freight costs soared and labor shortages have roiled the food supply chain from farms to supermarkets. An energy crisis has also proved a headache, forcing vegetable greenhouses to go dark and causing a knock-on risk of bigger fertilizer bills for farmers.

Many of these factors will continue to intensify in 2022.

So be thankful for what you have, because in some parts of the world things are already starting to get quite crazy.

For example, in North Korea citizens are now being encouraged to eat black swan meat due to the “crippling food shortage” in that nation…

North Korea has started touting the “exceptional” health benefits of consuming black swans after breeding them, while also farming rabbits as the country battles a crippling food shortage, according to state media.

“Black swan meat is delicious and has medicinal value,” the ruling party newspaper Rodong Sinmun said in an article published Monday.

I have been warning that this was coming, and things are only going to get worse from here.

So I would stock up while you still can, because food prices are only going to go higher.

All Of The Talking Heads On Television Are Wrong About Why The Democrats Lost Virginia

The corporate media seemed absolutely shocked by what happened on Tuesday night. But I was not shocked one bit. In fact, anyone with any common sense at all should have seen it coming. Sadly, none of the talking heads on television that I saw were willing to admit why the Democrats really lost Virginia. Some of the analysts said things that were true, but none of them addressed the main issue. For example, CNN’s Van Jones admitted that Democrats “are coming across as annoying and offensive”, and that was certainly a truthful statement. But that isn’t why Democrats lost. Ultimately, the real reason why they lost in a state where they usually win is incredibly simple.

Voters are moved by things that affect them personally more than anything else. “It’s the economy, stupid” was a slogan that was invented by Clinton campaign strategist James Carville all the way back in 1992. If people believe that voting for a particular political party is going to improve their ability to make a living, that political party is going to get a lot of votes. Alternatively, if people believe that voting for a particular political party is going to hurt their ability to make a living, that political party is going to lose a lot of votes.

Joe Biden made a catastrophic political error when he went after people’s jobs. Countless Americans have already lost jobs due to various mandates, and approximately 80 million American workers will be covered by the big OSHA mandate that is about to go into effect.

Perhaps Biden and his minions thought that they would just be hurting conservatives with these mandates, but that isn’t true at all. Vast numbers of independents and Democrats are also refusing to comply with the mandates, and many of them are extremely angry.

Let me give you an example. In Kansas, the head of a local union district is very upset that close to half of the workers at his company could potentially lose their jobs…

In Wichita, Kansas, nearly half of the roughly 10,000 employees at aircraft companies Textron Inc and Spirit AeroSystems remain unvaccinated against COVID-19, risking their jobs in defiance of a federal mandate, according to a union official.

“We’re going to lose a lot of employees over this,” said Cornell Adams, head of the local Machinists union district. Many workers did not object to the vaccines as such, he said, but were staunchly opposed to what they see as government meddling in personal health decisions.

Just reading those two paragraphs, it would be easy to come to the conclusion that Adams is probably a Republican.

But he’s not.

He is actually a Democrat, and he says that the Democrats will “never get another vote from me”…

A life-long Democrat, Adams said he would no longer vote for the party. “They’ll never get another vote from me and I’m telling the workers here the same thing.”

Did Biden and his minions actually think that countless independents and Democrats would forgive them for ruining their careers?

If they would have just left people alone, they would still be in control in Virginia, but instead election night was a “clean sweep” for Republicans.

And unless the Biden administration reverses course, the 2022 midterms will be a national bloodbath for the Democratic Party.

When asked about the slaughter in Virginia, Biden mentioned a lot of factors, but he didn’t bring up the mandates at all…

“People are upset and uncertain about a lot of things,” Biden said, “from COVID, to school, to jobs, to a whole range of things – and the cost of a gallon of gasoline. And so, if I’m able to pass and sign into law my ‘Build Back Better’ initiative, I’m in a position where you’re going to see a lot of those things ameliorated quickly and swiftly. So that has to be done.”

Asked what Democrats need to do to respond to Republican attacks over critical race theory and other cultural issues, Biden said, “We should produce for the American people.”

Some of the points he made are valid.

Without a doubt, Americans are annoyed that the price of gasoline has become so painful…

Gas prices have surged to a seven-year high of $3.40 a gallon nationally and are flirting with $4 in Nevada, Washington State and Oregon.

Bank of America is now predicting that Brent crude oil, which drives gas prices, will zoom to $120 a barrel by June 2022. That’s 45% higher than current levels.

Needless to say, the new global energy crisis which has suddenly erupted means that the price of gasoline is only going to go higher.

And it is also true that Americans are frustrated with the worst supply chain crisis in our history. The vast piles of cargo that are just sitting around in southern California have proven to be very tempting targets for thieves…

“The more that the supply chain in general is backed up, the more cargo you’re going to have sitting. And that creates a bigger opportunity for thefts,” said Scott Cornell, a crime and theft specialist at insurance company Travelers, according to CBS MoneyWatch.

Thieves made off with more than $5 million worth of goods as a result of so-called supply-chain theft in California during the third quarter of 2021, a surge of about 42 percent from a year ago, according to cargo theft recovery and prevention network CargoNet.

The debacle in Afghanistan, the crisis on the southern border, and the rate at which the national debt is exploding are also factors that have weighed on Biden’s approval ratings.

But Biden and his fellow Democrats could have survived all of those things if they had just left people’s jobs alone.

In recent weeks, we have seen marches, demonstrations and protests all over the nation because of the mandates.

Sadly, the talking heads on television just can’t admit that the mandates are backfiring on an absolutely massive scale.

In the months ahead, countless more Americans will be forced out of their jobs thanks to the mandates, and this will set the stage for so many of the things that I have been warning about.

If the Democrats want to avoid a complete wipeout during the 2022 midterm elections, they should literally beg Biden to end the mandates immediately.

But they aren’t going to do that.

They are literally committing political suicide, and they could potentially be creating fertile ground for a new third party to emerge by 2024.

As Global Food Prices Spiral Out Of Control, Panic Buying Of Food Will Become Increasingly Common

Even in the best of years we struggle to feed everyone in the world, and the last two years have definitely not been the best of years. Global weather patterns have gone completely nuts, major natural disasters are happening with alarming frequency, and the COVID pandemic has played havoc with supply chains all over the world. As a result, food prices have been absolutely soaring. In fact, the UN is telling us that global food prices were up 40 percent in the 15 months ending in June…

Global food prices are rising along with many other commodities and constitute a major part of the inflation picture.

According to UN Food and Agriculture Organisation’s biannual global food outlook, prices had risen by 40% in the 15 months to June and the trend has continued. That is the largest increase since 2010-11, which students are geopolitical events will know was one of the major triggers of the so called Arab Spring that red to a revolution in Egypt and upheaval elsewhere.

Needless to say, this is going to hurt those at the bottom of the economic food chain the most.

Those that are living on five dollars or less a day simply cannot afford to pay 40 percent more for food.

If food prices continue to escalate rapidly, it is probably inevitable that we will see food riots and widespread civil unrest all around the planet.

I have been relentlessly warning my readers that this was coming, but of course many in the general population didn’t want to listen to such warnings.

But now even the communist government of China is telling people to become preppers. Prices for some vegetables increased by more than 50 percent during the month of October, and on Monday Chinese citizens were directed to stockpile food for the coming months…

The country’s Ministry of Commerce late Monday issued a notice directing local governments to encourage people to stockpile “daily necessities,” including vegetables, oils and poultry, in order to “meet the needs of daily life and emergencies.”

The agency also urged local authorities to make sure that people have an “adequate supply” of essentials this winter into next spring. And it told those authorities to keep prices stable — a source of anxiety in recent weeks, as the cost of vegetables has surged throughout China because of unusually heavy rainfall that has hurt crops.

Have you ever heard of China doing something like this ever before?

Of course not.

And that is because global conditions have fundamentally changed.

If you do not understand this yet, you need to wake up.

Once this directive was issued in China, it caused a massive wave of panic buying in local supermarkets…

The directive was released on the government’s Weibo account, a similar platform to Twitter, stated: “Ministry of Commerce encourages households to stockpile daily necessities as needed.” It had more than 17 million views as of Tuesday. Some netizens were concerned that an impending invasion of Taiwan was the reason for the stockpiling directive.

“As soon as this news came out, all the old people near me went crazy panic buying in the supermarket,” wrote one Weibo user.

Could it be possible that Chinese officials want people to prepare because an invasion of Taiwan is coming soon?

Yes, that is possible, but hopefully we aren’t at that point yet.

I definitely believe that military conflict is approaching, but let us hope that it can be put off for as long as possible.

Here in the United States, we are certainly not ready for a showdown with China over Taiwan, because we have begun the process of kicking large numbers of people out of the military. For instance, just check out what the Air Force is doing…

The Air Force has discharged 40 service members and is now preparing to address the thousands of others who failed to get a coronavirus vaccination before the Nov. 1 deadline officials imposed, becoming the first branch to execute what military leaders consider an essential protective measure but one that critics believe will undermine America’s ability to defend itself.

And now that the OSHA mandate is about to kick in, big corporations all over America are bracing for catastrophic personnel losses. In certain cases, some companies could lose close to half of their workers…

In Wichita, Kansas, nearly half of the roughly 10,000 employees at aircraft companies Textron Inc and Spirit AeroSystems remain unvaccinated against COVID-19, risking their jobs in defiance of a federal mandate, according to a union official.

“We’re going to lose a lot of employees over this,” said Cornell Adams, head of the local Machinists union district. Many workers did not object to the vaccines as such, he said, but were staunchly opposed to what they see as government meddling in personal health decisions.

Why in the world would Joe Biden think that this is a good idea?

Forcing millions of highly qualified Americans out of their jobs in the middle of the most epic worker shortage in U.S. history is an incredibly stupid thing to do.

But Joe Biden is doing it anyway.

Pfizer Inc on Tuesday said it expected 2021 sales of the COVID-19 vaccine it developed with German partner BioNTech SE to reach $36 billion and forecast another $29 billion from the shot in 2022, topping analyst estimates for both years.

The U.S. drugmaker said it is seeking to sign more vaccine deals with countries, which could drive sales even higher next year. It has the capacity to produce 4 billion doses in 2022 and has based its projections on sales of 1.7 billion doses.

Like with so many other things in our society, ultimately this is all about the money.

Looking ahead, governments around the world are going to continue to create, borrow and spend new money at a staggering pace, and that will push worldwide food prices higher.

And the new global energy crisis that has suddenly erupted will also push worldwide food prices higher.

On top of everything else, I expect that a variety of other factors will combine to continue to suppress agricultural production all over the planet.

So that means that for once I actually agree with the Chinese government.

Stock up while you still can, because things are starting to get really crazy out there.

Just In Time For The Holidays, The Biggest Mandate Of All Is About To Go Into Effect…

What a joyful time of the year this is going to be for the countless families that are about to experience a job loss. You would think that Joe Biden’s rapidly plunging poll numbers would cause him to rethink his absurd mandates, but that hasn’t happened. Instead, he is has chosen to stubbornly move forward, and the consequences are going to be absolutely disastrous. Earlier today, I watched a heartbreaking video of a pandemic hero being marched out of a hospital in California because her religious exemption was denied. She admits that she could soon lose her house as a result, but freedom is more important to her. Sadly, similar scenes are about to be repeated over and over again all across the country, because the biggest mandate of them all is about to be implemented. According to the senior White House correspondent for CBS News, it appears that the OSHA mandate will go into effect in just a few days…

OSHA has finished developing a rule that compels companies with 100+ employees to require vaccines or regular testing. It also requires employers to provide paid time to workers to get vaccinated and to recover from any side effects. The rule will go into effect in days.

It has been estimated that the OSHA mandate will cover somewhere around 80 million American workers.

As the new regulations start to be enforced, countless Americans will choose to willingly leave their jobs, and countless others will be ruthlessly terminated for not complying. Needless to say, this is going to cause enormous nightmares in industry after industry.

For example, we are already in the midst of the worst supply chain crisis in U.S. history, and logistics companies are warning that the OSHA mandate will make things much, much worse…

Logistics companies in industries ranging from trucking to warehouses are warning that President Joe Biden’s vaccine mandate will cause further supply chain backlogs.

Groups representing them say substantial numbers of their employees are unvaccinated, and may quit or be let go at the height of the holiday season.

Even if he purposely wanted to be this evil, why in the world would Biden want to make our supply chain headaches far more painful right as we are entering the busiest time of the year?

It doesn’t make any sense.

Because of the epic worker shortage that we are currently experiencing, replacing employees that are lost is going to be exceedingly difficult.

We are already dealing with a shortage of approximately 80,000 truckers, and the ATA is openly warning that the OSHA mandate “will create a workforce crisis for our industry”…

American Trucking Associations has sent a letter to the Biden administration expressing “grave concern” over the potential damage that the president’s plans for a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for many businesses — including trucking companies — could cause for the country.

“While much of the country was sequestered in their homes, the trucking industry served its essential function and did so successfully with safety standards developed by public health experts,” said the Oct. 21 letter, signed by ATA President Chris Spear. “Now placing vaccination mandates on employers, which in turn force employees to be vaccinated, will create a workforce crisis for our industry and the communities, families and businesses we serve.”

We aren’t just talking about the loss of a few thousand truck drivers.

According to the ATA, we could potentially be facing the loss of 37 percent of all truck drivers in the entire nation…

The federation warns that motor carriers it represents – who it said supply 80% of the country and move 70% of all freight tonnage — could lose up to 37% of their drivers.

37 percent!

If you think that store shelves are empty now, just wait until that happens.

The retail industry is also in a state of panic because of the upcoming mandate…

Besides trucking, retailers are also concerned the mandate could trigger resignations in an industry also short on workers, according to a lobbyist at the Retail Industry Leaders Association, Evan Armstrong.

‘It has been a hectic holiday season already, as you know, with supply chain struggles,’ Armstrong told CNBC after a meeting with White House officials last Monday.

‘This is a difficult policy to implement. It would be even more difficult during the holiday season.’

Retailers are already really struggling to staff their stores in many areas of the country.

This new mandate certainly will not help matters.

The U.S. military has their own mandates that are in the process of being implemented, and this week we learned that large numbers of Marines could be on the verge of being kicked out of the military…

The Corps will kick out every Marine who refuses the COVID-19 vaccine and fails to receive an approved exemption by the Nov. 28 deadline, a new administrative message said.

Barring an approved administrative, medical or religious accommodation, or a pending appeal, Marines who fail to meet the deadline will be processed for administrative separation, the MARADMIN said. General court-martial convening authorities will “retain authority to take any additional adverse administrative or disciplinary action” deemed appropriate.

Frankly, this makes me sick.

We are really going to do this right around Thanksgiving?

How heartless are these people?

After our military has been gutted, I hope that no major conflict suddenly erupts, because our ability to go to war will be greatly diminished.

In so many ways, this moment represents a fundamental turning point for the United States, and nothing will ever be the same after this.

Personally, I have never been more disgusted with the Democratic Party than I am right now, and countless others feel the same way. If you doubt this, just check out these poll results…

Independents believe that the Democratic Party more than the Republican Party is “the bigger threat” to American democracy, according to an NPR/PBS NewsHour/Marist poll released on Monday.

In response to the question, “In general, which party do you think is the bigger threat to democracy in the United States,” 41 percent of Independents said the Democratic Party, while 37 percent said the Republican Party.

The sort of mandates that are now being pushed on all of us have absolutely no place in a civilized society.

If you have lost a job or are about to lose a job, I want you to know that you are not alone.

There are millions upon millions of other Americans that still believe in freedom, and we shall not bow our knees before these tyrants.

In 2022, “Things Aren’t Gonna Get Done” On An Absolutely Massive Scale

Are we about to witness one of the greatest self-inflicted economic wounds in history? Vaccine mandate deadlines are starting to arrive, and large numbers of very qualified people are losing their jobs as a result. Of course this comes at a very bad time, because we are already in the midst of the most epic worker shortage in U.S. history. Despite the biggest hiring push that I have ever seen in my entire lifetime, businesses all over America are still desperate for workers. The funny thing is that lots of available workers should theoretically be out there somewhere. The number of Americans that are currently working is still about five million less than the peak that was hit just before the pandemic arrived. So where did all of those missing workers go? That is a question that we desperately need an answer for, because millions of workers seem to have evaporated from the system. Now the vaccine mandates are going to make things far worse, because millions of Americans that are actually good at their jobs are going to be ruthlessly terminated, and finding replacements for them is going to be exceedingly difficult.

For instance, you can’t just pull guys off the street and have them fly planes. Very soon, large numbers of pilots will be sent packing on a permanent basis, and pilots for American Airlines gave us a taste of what is coming by engaging in a “sick out” over the weekend…

American Airlines canceled another 634 flights on Sunday, more than 12% of its total operations for the day, the company said Sunday.

The airline has now canceled more than 1,500 flights since Friday, as it deals with weather issues and staffing shortages that started last week.

Of course American Airlines is trying to blame “the weather” for these canceled flights, but everyone knows what is really going on.

And I greatly applaud the pilots for taking a stand.

If these airlines don’t reverse their mandates, pretty soon we will have widespread air travel headaches on a permanent basis in this nation.

In New York City, Friday was the deadline for municipal workers to get vaccinated, and more than 26,000 of them have refused to comply…

Twenty-six percent of municipal employees in New York City were still unvaccinated following a Friday deadline that mandated workers get the COVID-19 vaccine.

A significant jump in vaccinations occurred among city employees due to the deadline, the city said, according to The Associated Press, but more than 26,000 workers have not uploaded proof of their vaccination status and face unpaid leave as a result.

Moving forward, all of the work that those 26,000 workers used to do simply will not get done.

Already, a total of 26 fire companies have had to be completely shut down…

The FDNY shuttered 26 fire companies citywide on Saturday due to staff shortages caused by the COVID-19 vaccination mandate, according to furious elected officials, who ripped the move as “unconscionable” — and warned it could have catastrophic consequences.

So will this cost lives?

Of course it will.

In fact, a seven-year-old boy just died in an apartment fire…

A seven-year-old boy died and his grandmother was seriously injured in an apartment fire in New York City as the FDNY deals with staff shortages in response to a vaccine mandate.

Firefighters responded to a 1:30 a.m. call Saturday at a building in Washington Heights, where fire broke out in the building superintendent’s basement apartment. First responders quickly contained and extinguished the fire.

Meanwhile, trash is starting to pile up around the city at a very alarming rate…

Trash bags can be spotted all over the Midwood neighborhood of Brooklyn, where some residents said that it has been days since their trash was last picked up. A few said they realized something was off earlier in the week, as one missed pickup happens, but they started to think there was a problem after the second missed time.

On both residential streets and commercial areas, the trash bags on the sidewalk are piled several feet high in some instances. One resident who has lived in the area for about 40 years said she has never seen the area as dirty as has been the past few days.

So what is the city going to look and smell like in a few months once we get into the early portion of 2022?

The sad thing is that none of this had to happen.

The vaccine mandates are absurd, and they are going to cause enormous problems all over the country.

Countless supply chain workers are going to be pulled out of our supply chains in the coming months, and we are already facing painful shortages from coast to coast…

Supermarket chains are revamping their operations to navigate persistent product shortages, expanding storage space and curbing discounts to make sure they don’t run out.

Companies are planning for shortages of popular brands of food and staples to continue for months and managers are trying to keep up as different products run short from week to week, industry executives said.

A lot of Americans are still expecting these shortages to go away eventually, but Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg is now admitting that there will be supply chain problems “as long as the pandemic continues”…

Transport Secretary Pete Buttigieg says the supply chain crisis will continue at least until the COVID-19 pandemic ends amid fears of shortages ahead of the winter holidays.

‘There are definitely going to continue to be issues, especially as long as the pandemic continues,’ Buttigieg told Fox News Sunday. ‘If you have, for example, the third-largest container port in the world in China shutting down because of a COVID outbreak in late summer you’ll feel that in the fall here on the West coast.’

Of course there is no end in sight for the pandemic. The virus is constantly mutating, and any immunity to it is very temporary.

So just like the common cold and the flu, COVID will be with us indefinitely.

If Biden administration officials want to reverse recent polling trends, they better find a way to address our supply chain issues, because right now their numbers are really dismal. Here is just one example…

“Americans have lost their confidence in President Joe Biden and their optimism for the country.”

That, according to Chuck Todd, is the top takeaway from a just-released NBC News poll out Sunday. Breaking down the numbers on Meet the Press, Todd pointed to data from the survey that he deemed “shocking.”

“Just 22 percent of adults say [the U.S. is] headed in the right direction,” Todd reported. “A shocking 71 percent say we’re on the wrong track.”

The only surprise from that survey is that there are 22 percent of Americans that are still gullible enough to have a positive outlook.

The Democrats have cooked up a recipe for national suicide, and they are setting the stage for so many of the things that I warned about in my latest book.

If Joe Biden had any sense, he would rescind all nationwide vaccine mandates immediately.

But he isn’t going to do that.

And major cities like New York and Los Angeles are not going to rescind their mandates either.

So “things are not gonna get done” on an absolutely massive scale in 2022, and we will all suffer deeply as a result.
