Watch The Most Controversial Congressional Debate In Idaho History

It isn’t often that you get to see a seasoned politician completely melt down on live television.  On Sunday evening, the last debate for the candidates running for Congress in Idaho’s first congressional district was held, and it was certainly a wild one.  In the weeks leading up to the debate, voters all over Idaho had been heatedly debating whether to vote for Michael Snyder or Russ Fulcher all over social media, and both of us were positioned right in the center of the stage.  Unfortunately for the Fulcher campaign, Russ delivered an absolutely disastrous performance.  When reporter Betsy Russell asked Russ about the Mueller investigation, he responded by saying that “I haven’t even been following that closely”.  If that wasn’t bad enough, he followed that up by admitting two more times that he had not been paying attention to the Mueller investigation.  Needless to say, jaws dropped open all over the studio as Fulcher dropped this bombshell.  The Mueller investigation has been the biggest news story in Congress for over a year, and Russ Fulcher never actually answered Betsy Russell’s question because as he openly confessed, he had not “been following that closely”.  How can someone running for Congress not have a basic understanding of the most important issue that Congress has been dealing with?  Throughout the debate the differences between Russ and myself were glaringly obvious, and if you have not seen it yet, you can watch the entire congressional debate right here

https://video.idahoptv.org/video/republican-congressional-district-1-2018-primary-wdm891/

I honestly do not know how Fulcher’s campaign can survive this absolutely nightmarish performance.  A lot of people are comparing it to Rick Perry’s horrific performance during a presidential debate a number of years ago.  We have had numerous people tell us that they are switching from Fulcher to #TeamSnyder after watching the debate, and that is why it is so important to get this debate out to as many voters as possible.  Please share the link to the debate with everyone that you know, because if we could get every voter in the district to watch it we would win by a landslide.

Voting day is May 15th, but early voting has already begun.  In fact, we are very much encouraging everyone to go out and vote today.  To learn where early voting is happening in your county, contact your local county clerk.  You can find a list of all of the county clerks right here.  In many instances, early voting is being held at your local county courthouse.

Thanks to our big victory in the debate, our campaign has generated a tremendous amount of momentum.  Please remember to go vote, and please tell everyone that you know to vote as soon as they can.  It is being projected that voter turnout in this race may be under 20 percent, and so if we do a great job of getting voters to the polls we will definitely win this thing.

Once again I would like to thank all of the incredible people that have gotten involved and made our campaign possible, and if you would like to learn more about #TeamSnyder, please visit MichaelSnyderForCongress.com.

One Year Ago A Miracle Happened

On November 8th, 2016 we witnessed the greatest miracle in the history of American politics.  Leading up to election day, virtually all of the experts were boldly assuring us that Hillary Clinton would be the next president of the United States.  Personally, I was quite alarmed about what a Hillary Clinton presidency would mean, because Clinton’s vindictiveness is legendary and my anti-Clinton articles had been seen by millions of people.  When Trump shocked the world by winning the election, it was like an entirely new day had just dawned in America.  If Donald Trump could become president of the United States, literally anything was possible.

President Trump has been visiting Asia this week, but on Wednesday he took a few moments to thank those that voted for him last November…

President Trump marked the anniversary of his 2016 presidential election win by remembering the “deplorables.”

“Congratulations to all of the ‘DEPLORABLES’ and the millions of people who gave us a MASSIVE (304-227) Electoral College landslide victory!” he tweeted Wednesday, featuring a photo of him and some of his aides aboard Air Force Once.

It has been 12 months, but it is still hard to grasp what happened on that historic night.  Nobody in the mainstream media seemed to believe that Trump had a chance, and his shock victory took almost the entire nation by surprise.  The following is an extended excerpt from an article that I published on the day after Trump’s victory entitled “Do You Believe In Miracles?”

—–

After it was all over, I kind of stumbled around my home lost in my thoughts. I was happy, confused, hopeful, stunned and pensive all at the same time. Like so many others, what I thought I knew about politics turned out to be wrong. But in other ways, the election of Donald Trump has confirmed so much of what I know to be right about America.

Ultimately, it was the American people that decided this election, because the elite were doing their best to absolutely bury him.

Never before has the mainstream media been so openly biased against a major party presidential candidate. For months on end they dumped sewage on Trump, but it didn’t work.

Never before has a major party presidential candidate faced a civil war in his own party on the eve of the election. A whole host of big names in the Republican Party publicly announced that they would not vote for Trump, but it didn’t work.

Never before have we seen a bigger October surprise than the lewd tape from 11 year ago that came out and shocked the world. That would have instantly killed the campaign of any normal politician, but it didn’t kill Trump’s campaign.

From the very beginning it seemed like Trump was at war with almost everyone, and somehow he came out on top in the end.

He beat the Bushes and the Clintons.

He beat the Republicans and the Democrats.

He beat Hollywood and the mainstream media.

He beat the pollsters and the pundits.

He beat the never-Trumpers and the billionaire donors.

He beat Miley Cyrus, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Jay Z, Beyonce, George Clooney, Matt Damon and Lebron James.

He beat the forces of globalism, elitism and political correctness.

He beat CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and Barack Obama.

He beat them all.

—–

Millions of us that had worked so hard to get Trump elected were absolutely jubilant, but of course there were millions of others that were bitterly disappointed.  If you want to take a walk down memory lane, watch this YouTube video that shows a whole host of liberal talking heads melting down in the aftermath of Trump’s win.  They also knew that something had just fundamentally changed in America, and they were not happy about it at all.

Sadly, many Republican politicians have still not embraced Trump, and that is a huge mistake.

For example, many believe that Ed Gillespie’s huge loss in Virginia happened because he distanced himself from the president

“Republican Swamp Thing Gillespie Rejected,” Bannon’s Breitbart News declared in a headline.

Gillespie “did not embrace me or what I stand for,” Trump tweeted from Asia.

The rush to destroy Gillespie — who borrowed some tactics from Trump but kept his distance from the president — points to an escalating fight within the party over whether candidates are better off courting Trump and his loyal base or keeping them at arm’s length.

As for me, I am proud to stand with President Trump, and pro-Trump voters all over the nation are getting involved in my campaign for Congress.

Of course Democrats are hoping that the Trump era will be over as soon as possible and that things will then go back to normal.

But that isn’t going to happen.  We are here to take our country back, and the Trump movement is only just getting started.

How Many Mass Shooters Have Been Members Of The NRA?

The left is using the tragedy in Sutherland Springs to demonize the NRA.  Personally, I am so sick and tired of these relentless attacks, and I am proud to stand with the NRA, the Gun Owners Of America and every other organization that is working hard to defend our 2nd Amendment rights.  As you will see below, it was actually the intervention of an NRA instructor named Stephen Willeford that saved countless lives in Sutherland Springs.  And would you like to know how many mass shooters have been members of the NRA?  The answer is zero

Based on the arbitrary definition of a shooting involving at least four deaths, there had been 130 mass shootings in the United States as of June 6, 2017, going back over the last 51 years. (This does not include gang killings, killings that began as other crimes such as robberies, and killings that involved only the shooter’s family.)

Information about how the guns were obtained is incomplete, but 248 different guns were used, at least 141 of which were obtained legally and at least 39 of which were obtained illegally; handguns were the most common weapons used, usually more than one, each of which takes about two seconds to reload, making limited magazines (commonly incorrectly referred to as “clips”) a minor inconvenience. None of the shooters were known to be members of the NRA.

The bad guys in our society are always going to find ways to get guns.  Just look at what is happening down in Honduras for example.  They have some of the strictest gun laws on the entire planet, and yet their entire nation has become a war zone.

Some say that we have a “mental illness problem”, but I would describe it as a moral and social decay problem.  Culture really matters, and our culture has been going down the toilet for decades.  If we don’t do something about the rampant decay in our society, violence is going to continue to get worse.

And as violence continues to escalate, I want as many responsibly armed citizens around as possible.  Instead of vilifying the NRA, we should be thankful that men like Stephen Willeford are willing to act like heroes

So much for those who want to vilify the NRA in the wake of the Texas massacre in Sutherland Springs, Texas, on Sunday: Stephen Willeford, the man who shot and chased the man who killed 26 people in a Texas church, is an NRA instructor. Willeford insisted, “I’m no hero; I am not. I think my God, my Lord, protected me and gave me the skills to do what needed to be done.”

It is a fact that most mass shooters tend to be to the left on the political spectrum, and most of those that have attempted to attacks presidents throughout history have also been on the left.  Just check out this list

  1. Andrew Jackson – shot at by Richard Lawrence (Suspected Democrat plot, no proof.)
  2. Abraham Lincoln – 3 attempts – Democrats, Baltimore, 1861; Democrat confederates, Aug, 1864, Shot at from ambush; shot dead by J.W. Booth, Democrat, April, 1865
  3. James A. Garfield – shot and killed by Charles J. Guiteau, utopian communalist. (Modern progressive.)
  4. William McKinley – shot and killed by Leon Czolgosz, Far left Socialist
  5. Theodore Roosevelt – shot, wounded, by John F. Schrank, Anti third term motive.
  6. Franklin D. Roosevelt – Shot at by Giuseppi Zangara, Marxist, (He missed and killed Chicago Mayor Anton Cermak.)
  7. Harry S. Truman – attacked by Oscar Collazo, Griselio Torreslo, Leftist revolutionaries who wanted a Socialist Puerto Rico.
  8. John F. Kennedy – shot and killed by Lee H. Oswald, Communist.
  9. Richard Nixon – Samuel Byck thought Nixon was oppressing the poor, attempted airplane hijack to crash into White House.
  10. Gerald Ford – Lynette Fromme, Anarchist, Manson girl, waved gun, failed to properly load it;  Sara Brady, shot at the president, progressive Socialist, lousy shot.

I have pledged to never move a single inch when it comes to defending our 2nd Amendment rights, and I am asking all of my supporters to stand with me.  The left is making gun control one of their highest priorities, and we must never, ever back down.

I really like how Charlie Daniels made this point in his latest column

Opportunistic politicians rush to judgement to write meaningless laws that would further muddy the waters, and leftist ideologues who don’t know a .22 from a .357 condemn all guns and gun owners, wanting to outlaw all firearms, leaving the villains who obtain their guns illegally to continue the mayhem while ordinary citizens would be left with no way to protect their families.

The same people who self-righteously insist on having sanctuary cities for lawbreakers are the ones who scream the loudest for more gun control, completely ignoring their potential for harboring murderers in their midst.

We need thousands more leaders like Charlie Daniels all over the nation.

And we need millions more responsible gun owners such as Stephen Willeford to help protect us from the crazed lunatics like Devin Patrick Kelley that seem to be multiplying in our society.

The NRA and the Gun Owners of America are not the problem.

The truth is that they are a big part of the solution, and those attacking them should be ashamed of themselves.

How The Elite Dominate The World – Part 4: They Buy Politicians, And Incumbents Almost Always Win

Once we wake up to how the game is being played, then we will have a real shot at changing things.  For decades, the elite have been pulling the strings behind the scenes in both major political parties.  That is why nothing has ever seemed to change very much no matter which party has been in power.  The agenda of the elite has always seemed to march forward, and ordinary people like us have always been frustrated that we can’t seem to make a difference.  But now a shift seems to be taking place.  Donald Trump took on the establishment in both major parties, and he miraculously won the presidency.  Down in Alabama, the elite spent more than 30 million dollars to defeat Roy Moore, and he still defeated Luther Strange.  A political awakening is taking place, and I can’t wait to see what happens during the mid-term elections in 2018.

In Part I and Part II of this series, I talked about how the elite use debt as a tool of enslavement.  In Part III, I went over how the elite use the colossal media corporations they own to control what we think.  Today, I want to talk about their influence in the realm of politics.

In Washington D.C., it is well understood that the game of politics is all about the money.  If I win my election, and online polling suggests that there is a ton of enthusiasm for my campaign, I will be expected to spend most of my time on the phone raising money.  As a freshman member of Congress, at orientation it will be explained to me that I am supposed to spend approximately four hours a day doing fundraising, and that is why the House and Senate floors are so empty most of the time.

By law, members of Congress cannot make fundraising calls from their offices, and so both parties have huge call centers just across from the Capitol.  Especially around lunch and dinner times (because those are some of the best times to reach people), those call centers are packed as members of the House and Senate run through lists of potential donors.

And it isn’t just about raising money for their own campaigns.  As a freshman member of Congress I would be expected to raise at least $200,000 for the NRCC (the National Republican Congressional Committee).  If I don’t pay my dues, I would get into big trouble with party leadership.

But you know what?  I have already pledged that I am not going to participate in this very corrupt system.  If I am sent to Congress, I am going to spend my time doing the job that the people of Idaho sent me there to do.

So will Paul Ryan and the others in leadership get very upset with me for not “paying my dues”?

Of course.

But it is time for some of us to take a stand and do what is right.  Congress has become a cesspool of filth and corruption, and it is time to flush the toilet.

Because if we don’t fight this corrupt system, the influence of money in politics will just get worse and worse.  Today, the elite pour millions upon millions of dollars even into small campaigns, and in 2016 it took an average of more than 10 million dollars to win a U.S. Senate seat

While the White House may not have gone to the biggest spender, an awful lot of House and Senate seats did — as usual. And it was pricier than ever to win them.

This election cycle, an average winning Senate candidate had spent $10.4 million through Oct. 19 (reflecting the latest reports filed with the Federal Election Commission). That’s a $1.8 million increase over the same period in the 2014 cycle. By the end of last cycle, the number rose to $10.6 million, and a similar uptick is expected this time once post-election and year-end reports are filed.

Once you win, the pressure to raise money for your next campaign never ends.

The elite know this, and they use this pressure to influence votes.  Prior to a big vote, lobbyists will make it abundantly clear how they want certain members of Congress to vote, and if they vote the “right way” those members of Congress will be rewarded.

Just across from the U.S. Capitol there are clubs where fancy receptions are regularly held.  If you vote the “right way” on a particular bill, you may be invited to one of these receptions, and there will be big, fat donation checks waiting there for you.

Of course most members of Congress have learned how to play the game, and this is why it is nearly impossible to defeat incumbents.  Over the past six decades, the re-election rate for members of the House of Representatives has consistently been well over 80 percent, and according to the UVA Center for Politics incumbents actually did far better than that in 2016…

This election cycle, 393 of 435 House representatives, 29 of 34 senators, and five of 12 governors sought reelection (several of the governors were prohibited from seeking another term). Of those, 380 of 393 House members (97%), 27 of 29 senators (93%), and four of five governors (80%) won another term. These members of Congress and governors not only won renomination, but also won in November.

Since World War II, the overall success rate for Senate incumbents has been 84 percent, and the overall success rate for House incumbents has been 94 percent.

Incumbents are almost always armed with huge war chests and most of them have tremendous name recognition, and so toppling them is not easy.

Fortunately, there is no incumbent in my race because Raul Labrador is running for governor.  So the race is completely wide open, and right now my campaign has the most enthusiasm by far.  If you would like to help me flush the toilet in Washington, I would encourage you to visit MichaelSnyderForCongress.com.

If we don’t fight back, we will never break the stranglehold that the elite have on our political system.

Every generation of Americans has had to stand up and fight for liberty and freedom, and now it is our turn.  This particular battle will not be fought with guns and bullets, but rather with ideas, values and principles.

We are part of a movement that is sweeping the nation.  Good men and women are rising up to run in federal, state and local races all across the country, and it is absolutely imperative that we all get behind them and support them.

A ‘War’ Has Been Declared On The Republican Establishment, And We Are Going To Win

It is time to flush the toilet in Washington D.C., and I am so glad that Steve Bannon has decided to declare “war” on the Republican establishment.  For decades, these globalists have told us what we want to hear during election season, but then once they take office they betray us over and over again.  It is time to hold Republican members of Congress responsible for betraying the base, and I am so thankful that Bannon is organizing anti-establishment candidates into a cohesive movement.  We are going to challenge Republican incumbents all over the nation in 2018, and we are going to win over and over again.

Just look at what happened in Alabama.  The Republican establishment spent more than 30 million dollars against Roy Moore and we still won by a very wide margin.

Now we are going to take that template and repeat it all over the country.  During an interview with Sean Hannity on Monday,  Steve Bannon boldly declared that his forces are going after every Republican Senator that is up for re-election in 2018 except for Ted Cruz…

On Monday’s edition of Hannity, Breitbart executive chairman and former Trump adviser Steve Bannon talked about his plan to challenge every Republican Senator up for re-election in 2018 in the primary, except Sen. Ted Cruz. Bannon said Republican incumbents have committed “economic hate crimes” against the “forgotten man.”

Bannon said he is declaring “war” on the Republican establishment and those that don’t back what President Trump ran on. He said there is a “new game in town” and promised to “cut off the oxygen” to Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell and stop his fundraising for establishment candidates. Bannon said any person running for the Senate in 2018 that wants his support must oppose McConnell as the Republican Leader.

I love this approach.  No matter how much the Trump administration tries to work with some of these globalists, the truth is that they are never, ever going to get on board with his agenda.

So the answer is voting them out, and that is going to take a lot of money and a lot of hard work.  Fortunately, it sounds like Steve Bannon is ready for the battles that are ahead.  Here is more from his interview with Sean Hannity

HANNITY: Is this a fair statement: Is Steve Bannon declaring war on the establishment that are not for the working men and women in this country?

BANNON: 100%. We are declaring war on the Republican establishment that does not back the agenda that Donald Trump ran on and the president of the United States, and that’s the agenda we know that backs the working men and women…

Karl Rove, Steven Law, these guys should get the joke. Their donors are coming to us because they are tired of having their money burned up by trying to destroy people like Judge Moore. It’s a new game in town. We are to cut off the oxygen to Mitch McConnell. Mitch McConnell’s biggest asset is the money. We’re going to make it the biggest liability. We’re going after these guys tooth and nail.

This is music to my ears, because my campaign has already been trying to promote anti-establishment candidates here in Idaho and around the nation.  But obviously we need coordination at a national level, and Steve Bannon can do that.

And the environment is right for this kind of movement.  The Republicans in Congress have an approval rating that is so small that you can barely see it with a microscope, and the base is sick and tired of these so-called “conservatives” governing like Democrats.  The following comes from Rush Limbaugh

“Some people make an argument that there really isn’t a Republican Party left. I mean, there are people who call themselves that and they go out and raise money and they raise a lot,” he said. “But whereas the party used to be known for one, two, or three very serious things, they’re not anymore,” he said. “When the Republican Party joins the Democratic Party on things like amnesty for illegal immigrants — that’s not the Republican Party.”

Of course 2018 is just another stage in the war.  In order to boot all of the globalists out, it is going to take an extended period of time.  In fact, Steve Bannon says that he is ready to go to battle for the next twenty years

To take your country back – it’s not going to happen in any just one election. This is something you’re going to have to grind out day in and day out for the next five, ten, fifteen, twenty years.

It took us a long time to get here. There’s no magic wand we can wave and drain the swamp. There’s no magic wand we can wave and blow up this establishment. I hate to tell people, you’re going to have to work.

But you know what? The grit, determination and courage of the American working men and women – we are going to win.

If you are sick and tired of the Republicans in Congress getting nothing done, then I hope that you will join this fight.

Very few members of Congress are actively fighting for the things that the conservative base truly wants, and it is time to hold them accountable.  Next spring, Republican primaries will be held all over the nation, and the truth is that only a small percentage of the population actually votes in primaries.

If we get active and get mobilized, we can fundamentally transform Republican politics in this country.  If you live in Idaho, I would encourage you to get involved in my campaign, and if not I would encourage you to help the anti-establishment candidates in your particular state.

We are sick and tired of politics as usual, and the status quo is simply not good enough anymore.

Let me leave you with one final quote from Steve Bannon: “Nobody is safe. We are coming after all of them and we’re going to win.”

Michael Snyder is a Republican candidate for Congress in Idaho’s First Congressional District, and you can learn how you can get involved in the campaign on his official website. His new book entitled “Living A Life That Really Matters” is available in paperback and for the Kindle on Amazon.com.

Why Does The Left Hate Us So Much?

Have you ever asked yourself this question? Ever since I decided to run for Congress, I have spent quite a bit of time thinking about how divided our nation is.  Donald Trump has become the most hated person in America, earlier this year a gunman tried to kill as many Republican members of Congress as possible at a baseball field in Virginia, and the mainstream media is fueling more hatred for conservatives on a daily basis.  I think that I was more than a bit naive in thinking that I wouldn’t be caught up in all of this when I decided to run for public office.  It has only been about a month, and so far I have been slandered repeatedly, my wife and daughter have been called all sorts of names, and even our faith has been attacked.  I have never seen the left so energized in my entire lifetime, but meanwhile those of us that are trying to move the United States in a more conservative direction are facing an uphill battle when it comes to raising funds.  If you believe that people like me should be running for Congress, I hope that you will support my campaign financially.  Since there is no incumbent running in my district, the race is completely wide open, and if I raise enough money I will win because I have the strongest message by a very wide margin.

So far we have created a tremendous amount of buzz all over the district.  On Friday I was down in Coeur d’Alene, and there are some wonderful conservative people down there that are super excited that I am running.  Everywhere we go we are finding that voters are resonating with my extremely conservative message, and if I have enough resources to get this message to every voter in the district, there is no way that I should lose this race.

But of course not everybody is pleased by all the buzz I am creating.

If I win this election, I am very rapidly going to become one of the most hated members of Congress in the entire country.  And the reason why I will be hated so much is because I will be what the left fears the most – a conservative with a backbone.

In the end, this is not a battle about tax rates, the size of government or how to fix our economy.  All of those are very important issues, but at the core this is a fight for the soul of our nation.

Over the past 100 years, we have seen big government leftists take power all over the world.  The “progressives” of today are driven by the same philosophies and are using the same tactics as the communists of the USSR, the brownshirts of Nazi Germany (Nazi: National Socialists), and the Maoists of Red China.  At this moment the “progressives” dominate most of the political systems on the entire planet, and they would love to fully take control of the United States as well, but there are enough of us that still love liberty and freedom to stand in their way.

In leftist societies, big government rapidly becomes the centerpiece of society.  And that is one reason why so many of these big government systems are so godless, because government essentially takes the place of God over time.

Two diametrically opposed worldviews are clashing in our country right now, and eventually one of those worldviews will be vanquished by the other.

For those of us that still believe in life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness, the “progressives” of today are an existential threat.  If the left gets enough power, they will criminalize what we believe by making it “hate speech”.  Sadly, this is already starting to happen in local communities all over America.  And online, a number of social media companies have been making a renewed effort to censor conservative voices in the aftermath of Donald Trump’s surprise election victory last November.  They see how powerful the alternative media has become and they want to shut us up.

Unfortunately, I am seeing a lot of apathy among conservatives right now.  They seem to think that the battle is over because we got Donald Trump into the White House.  What they don’t understand is that the battle is just beginning.  We need people to stand up and fight like never before, and this is something that I talk about in my brand new book entitled “Living A Life That Really Matters”.  If America does not change direction immediately, there isn’t going to be an America.

And actually that is going to be one of my major themes when I speak at Pastor Benjamin Faircloth’s church in Lavonia, Georgia later in August.  The “What’s Next Prophecy Conference” will be held on Saturday, August 19th and Sunday, August 20th, and it will also be available online for those that are not able to make it in person…

If you live anywhere near Lavonia, I hope that you will come and join us.  This is going to be one of my very few opportunities to travel out of state in the near future, because I am going to be spending almost all of my time traveling all over Idaho for my campaign.

You know, I have actually been criticized by certain Christians for moving into the world of politics.  They seem to believe that “ministry” can only be done in a “church”, and that therefore trying to take my message to a national platform in Washington D.C. must be a “mistake”.

But all I can tell them is that I must do what I feel like God is leading me to do.  And thankfully so many others out there have rallied to my cause and have donated to my campaign.  So far, the leading fundraiser in this race is an attorney from the Boise area named Dave Leroy, and in just four weeks I have already had far more donors than he did during the entire second quarter.  But because he is getting those big $1000 and $2000 checks and I am raising money $10 and $20 at a time, I have a gap to make up.

If you believe in what I am trying to do, I would like to ask for your help.  I am the most conservative candidate in this race by a very wide margin, and it is absolutely imperative that we fill this open seat with a very strong conservative that will relentlessly fight for liberty and freedom.

Most people don’t understand that you do not just vote at the ballot box.  The truth is that you also vote when you decide who to support financially.  So many Americans wouldn’t think twice about spending 20 bucks at a fast food place, but they will never even consider contributing that much toward the fight for the future of our nation.

Every generation of Americans has had to fight for liberty and freedom, and now it is our turn.  My family is putting so much on the line in this race, but there is no possible way that we will be successful without your help.  If you would like to contribute to this fight, you can do so right here or by using a contribution form on my website.  Thank you so much for standing with me, and if we all work together I believe that we will be able to accomplish truly great things…

Michael Snyder Is Calling For An Army Of Pro-Trump Activists To Run For Office All Over America

It is really easy to sit back and complain about the direction of this country, but what America really needs at this hour are men and women that are willing to step into the fight to save our constitutional republic.  As I have said before, getting Donald Trump elected was the greatest miracle in U.S. political history, but he should not have to wage this battle alone.  Trump has very few friends in Congress at this point, and so it is absolutely critical that we get him some during the 2018 mid-term elections.  So I am calling for an army of pro-Trump activists to run for national, state and local offices all over America in 2018.  Donald Trump started this revolution, and now it is our job to continue it.

My father was in the U.S. Navy, and so sometimes I like to put things in military terms.  When an amphibious invasion is being conducted, it is the troops that hit the beach first that take the most fire.  To me, that is a perfect picture of what is happening to Donald Trump right now.  He has established a beachhead, and now the rest of us need to rush to shore to back him up.

If we are not willing to try, what is going to happen?  Our political system on the national, state and local levels will continue to be dominated by Democrats and “progressive Republicans”, and our once great nation will continue to fall apart all around us.

We need patriotic men and women to challenge every available seat in America in 2018.  Some of us will win and others will lose, but at least we will have given the American people a choice.

We are never going to have a true political revolution if we don’t at least try, and this election cycle represents a tremendous opportunity.  I really like how Rush Limbaugh made this point during one of his programs

Do you realize what a nothing burger the Democrat Party is? Do you realize the Democrat Party literally has nothing virtuous, positive, uplifting to run on? In all of this, the Democrat Party dares not ask people, “Hey, take a look at us. We got better ideas. Hey, take a look at us. We can fix this.” None of that. The only thing they’ve got is this insane, invisible, nonexistent, so-called connection between the Russians and our election. They have no ideas. They have no optimism. They have no leaders. They have no vision. They are ripe for being smoked for generations! This is the time to move in politically and wipe them out. …

Don’t misunderstand here, folks. I’m not saying the Democrats don’t pose a threat. I’m not… Look, two things here. The Democrats are in deep trouble, electorally. The Democrats are not running the left; the media is. And the media is clearly not inconsequential. Don’t misunderstand. I’m not saying that what’s happening here is obviously to everyone. I’m saying the Republican Party has a golden opportunity here to continue to hammer the nail into the coffin of the Democrat Party.

Our founders intended for us to have a constitutional republic with a limited central government, but the globalists have turned the federal government into an absolute monster.  We need to tame that monster and restore the constitutional republic that our founders originally designed.

The easy route would be to sit back and wait for someone else to do something.

But I have decided not to do that.

Earlier today, I announced on the Alex Jones Show that I am “strongly considering” running for Congress in 2018…

On Tuesday, U.S. Representative Raul Labrador announced that he will not seek another term because he plans to run for governor in Idaho.

Labrador represents the district in which my wife and I live, and when I heard this news I realized that this represents a truly unique opportunity.

Congressman Labrador has been doing a wonderful job, and if he had run again he would have won by a landslide.  But now that he is not running, there is no incumbent and the race is entirely wide open.

If I decide to run, and I am very strongly leaning in that direction, the key to the race will be to win the Republican primary.  Hillary Clinton got only 27.5 percent of the vote in Idaho last November, and Labrador won his last election by more than 120,000 votes.  So whoever wins the Republican primary will almost certainly win the general election.

Donald Trump has shown us that nothing is impossible in politics.  When he first declared his candidacy, liberal pundits literally laughed at him on the air because they thought his candidacy was such a joke.  But his bold message struck a chord with conservative voters all over the country, and now he is the president of the United States.

If he can do it, why can’t we?

If I run, I plan to continue the absolutely outstanding work that Congressman Labrador has been doing, and I plan to be a key ally for President Trump in Congress.  Right now Trump has very few friends in Congress, and that desperately needs to change.

In recent years, the House has lost some tremendous conservative voices.  I plan to continue the legacy of Ron Paul, Michele Bachmann and so many others that stood strong for conservative causes at a time when it was not always popular to do so.

But if I am going to do this, I am going to need lots of assistance.  If you have experience with campaigns on a state or local level, or if you just want to help out any way that you can, please feel free to drop me an email or contact me on Facebook.  I have never run for office before, and so I have a lot to learn, and I greatly value the advice and counsel of others.

Also, if there are other pro-Trump activists out there that plan on running in 2018, we should definitely connect.  If we all work to promote one another, we can create a giant groundswell of momentum which could sweep a whole bunch of pro-Trump activists into political positions all around the country.

For a long time I have been writing about the great problems that this nation is facing, and now I am trying to be part of the solution.

It has been said that life is like a coin.  You can spend it any way that you want, but you can only spend it once.

As for me and my house, we are going to spend our lives doing things that really matter.
