40 Volcanoes Are Erupting Right Now As The Crust Of The Earth Becomes Increasingly Unstable

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

Volcano Erupting 2 - Public DomainHave you noticed that our planet has begun to shake, rattle and roll?  Over the past few days we have seen major volcanic eruptions in Costa Rica and Indonesia, and according to Volcano Discovery 40 volcanoes around the planet are erupting right now as you read this article.  Meanwhile, earthquakes continue to shake the globe with alarming regularity.  Just last week, Ecuador was hit by a magnitude 6.7 earthquake and a magnitude 6.8 earthquake in rapid succession.  Overall, there have been more than 3,000 earthquakes of magnitude 1.5 or greater within the past month globally.  So yes, I write constantly about the rapidly accelerating deterioration of our financial system, but the coming “collapse” is not just about money.  I am convinced that we are entering a “perfect storm” in which a confluence of factors will absolutely cripple society and bring about changes that most of us would not even dare to imagine right now.

Let’s talk about the volcanic eruptions that we have seen in recent days.  The eruption down in Costa Rica took authorities completely by surprise, and a thick layer of dust and ash is coating vehicles and buildings 30 miles away in the capital city of San Jose

A volcano has erupted in central Costa Rica, belching smoke and ash up to 3,000m (9,840ft) into the air.

Hundreds of people have gone to hospital, complaining of breathing difficulties and skin problems.

Some schools were shut and some flights into the country cancelled or diverted.

People in the capital San Jose, about 45km (30 miles) west of the Turrialba volcano, said layers of ash had coated buildings and cars and there was a fierce smell of sulphur.

Leading up to this eruption, there were “swarms of small earthquakes” in the vicinity of the volcano, but scientists assured the public that these earthquake swarms were “not signs of an imminent eruption.”

Keep that in mind, because later in the article I am going to show you something.

But first let us talk about the other major eruption that is happening right now.  Down in Indonesia, Mount Sinabung has violently erupted, and this is causing all sorts of chaos

The death toll from a volcanic eruption in western Indonesia has climbed to six, an official said Sunday, with fears more could have been trapped by the hot ash.

Three people also remain in a critical condition after Mount Sinabung, a highly-active volcano on Sumatra island, unleashed a series of fresh eruptions on Saturday afternoon, disaster agency spokesman Sutopo Purwo Nugroho said.

“Nine people were struck by the hot clouds. Six died, and three others remain critical with burns,” he said, adding the injured had been taken to hospital.

According to one report, “torrents of lava” are pouring out of the volcano, and this is just one example of how volcanoes that were once considered to be “inactive” are coming to life all over the world.  In fact, prior to 2010 Mount Sinabung had been dormant for about 400 years.

Meanwhile, there is “unprecedented” activity at Iceland’s very dangerous Baroabunga volcano.  This one is not erupting quite yet, but we definitely want to keep an eye on it, because a major eruption there would have serious implications for Europe.

To finish this article, I would like to provide an update to a piece that I posted last week on End of the American Dream.  Just prior to the eruption of the Turrialba volcano in Costa Rica, there were significant earthquake swarms in the vicinity of the volcano.  Well, the exact same thing is happening at three major volcanoes in the United States right now.

I would like to share three images with you that come from Google Earth via the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network.  This first image shows the earthquake activity that has taken place in the area around Mt. St. Helens in recent days.  Over the past month there have been 95 earthquakes in the region, and most of them have been centered right along the core of the volcano…

Mt. St. Helens Today

This next image shows what has been happening at Mt. Rainier.  Those that follow my work closely already know that I consider it to be the most dangerous mountain in America and that I believe that a major eruption of the volcano is coming in the not too distant future.  There have been 36 earthquakes at Mt. Rainier over the past month, and once again most of them have occurred right along the core of the volcano…

Mt. Rainier Today

Mt. Hood is also a very dangerous volcano.  There have been 126 earthquakes in the vicinity of Mt. Hood in recent days, and in this image you can see that the earthquakes have been centered very tightly on a spot on the south face of the mountain.  This is alarming because it was also the south side of Mt. St. Helens that violently erupted back in 1980…

Mt. Hood Today

When there are major volcanic eruptions or major earthquakes in other parts of the globe, many Americans don’t seem to care too much because they don’t think that this rise in global seismic activity is any sort of a threat to them personally.

But the truth is that the entire west coast of the United States lies along the Ring of Fire, and virtually every other section of the Ring of Fire is roaring to life these days.

At some point, there will be historic earthquakes on the west coast.

At some point, there will be historic volcanic eruptions on the west coast.

Scientists assure us that these things are inevitable.

So let us certainly hope for the best, but putting our heads in the sand and pretending that these dangers do not exist is not going to help matters one bit.

Get prepared while you still can, because at some point time will run out.

Forgot to mention one of the most dangerous volcano – Mount Paegdu on North Korea-China border. It’s activity is growing so rapidly that even the Pyonjang regime asked for assistance of South Korean scientists. Seems urgent and very serious. Eruption is imminent? And yes – it may erupt with the strenght of VEI 7 which is considered a super eruption size of Mt Tambora or Krakatoa in XIX century in Indonesia which resulted in global famine in many countries and so called Year Without Summer. Even the National Geographic mentioned that eruption of Paektu caldera could be imminent. If this happens, North Korea and it’s regime will be a history.

    • James Dohnalek

      Great article. Thanks a lot.

      • Tacitus

It’s a terrible article. Lots of misleading infomation and wrong conclusions. A high school student could do better.

        • JustBill

I’ll put money on the J.D. that wrote this article, bring in your plebeian high school student.

    • Beanodle

Quote: “a massive volcanic eruption of strength of thousands of nuclear bombs”

Krakatoa 1883 : estimated blast of 200 Megatonn
Tambora 1815 was more than ten times bigger.

Mount Paegdu is risky but Sinabung on Sumatera has been erupting since 2010. It’s currently erupting daily with ash clouds to 1 to 3 kilometers.
In 2013 the Indonesian Volcanic Institute did a study into Sinabung and found that it’s magma chamber is linked with the Northern aspect of Toba. That would be the Toba which erupted 74,000 years ago and has been described as a super volcano.

The Indonesian Volcanological Institute scientists are very worried about Sinabung. However because it’s being erupting continuously for so long it’s sort of slipped off the media attention.

      • MaxRockatansky33

Lake Toba is an another issue ( possible supereruption). The same as Iceland Plume with recent rise in swarm of quakes below one of the most dangerous volcanoes in Iceland.

    • Syrin

My only problem is the numbers are meaningless to me because they are in a vacuum. Are there normally 4 active volcanoes or 400? Are there usually 30 earthquakes or 30,000? Without a comparison, this number could be anything.

      • HM

        That’s my opinion, too.

      • MaxRockatansky33

There are many annual statistics of global seismic and volcanic activity. Just google it.

      • Tacitus

Guess what? The answer is around 40. In other words, Synder is full of it (with a silent sh). There is nothing unusual going on. There will always be some variance, given that volcanoes are inherently chaotic systems, but when you look at the records going back decades, there is no evidence to suggest anything out of the ordinary is happening.

        • ONE WHO KNOWS

Actually, I think quite the opposite. Michael knows much more. A whole lot more. Seems to me that he’s holding back on information.

        • Scott Tracy

You seem very comfortable in your ignorance – go for it.

      • aj54

there are usually around 32 volcanoes per year; we have that many active right now just on the ring of fire, there are more worldwide

    • Orac4Prez

Sounds like a good way to get rid of Kim Jong-Un to me. Where are all the conspiracy theorists saying its all an American plot!

  • Mike Molyneaux

Volcanic ash gets into the stratosphere where it seeds clouds and helps cool the earth. Industrialists will be happy because it allows them to continue polluting without too much global warming.

    • Bill G Wilminton NC

Global warming is BS. In the 70’s it was global cooling, 90’s global warming, now to be sure no embarrassing mistake they call it climate change. So if the temp goes up they go ah ha see how smart we are. And if the temp goes down ah hah see how smart we are.

This is all about Globalists convincing people that it is necessary to tax the carbon footprint of the USA, though not china lol.

      All BS !

      • df NJ

Clean air, clean water, and all environmental issues have more to do with quality of life for everyone as opposed to Globalists.

I see your point about taxation being too excessive. But there are ways to address quality of life without raising taxes.

    • Muhammad Abbass

If the world does indeed come to a roaring halt for our species in the near future, the particular brand of deluded ninny who has latched onto the hoax of the century with “Global Warming” would make a quaint if pathetic footnote in the history of our modern civilization. You’d be right there along with people who pierce themselves with several kilos of metal, “sculpt” their foreheads, chests and other body parts into new weird shapes and add flashing lights and those tying the matrimonial knot with everything from fairground rides to animals. Humanity at it’s most self absorbed bovine subservient self. Redundant and rudderless. Fit more for a factory farmed ending in a slaughter house than to have dominion and freedom of a planet such as this.

As Euripides said “those whom the Gods wish to destroy they first drive mad” .

I read that out of the forty active volcanoes, all but six were in the ring of fire. I wonder if the ring of fire is the weakest boundary of all tectonic plates on earth????

Mt. Shasta is also coming to life.

Better Mt. Shasta than Shasta Cola.

Seems to me the “redoubt” area would be at risk from Yellowstone and the three volcano potentials mentioned. I believe Michael lives in Idaho. He may see some action up close. Maybe the far NE USA is the most stable area geology wise. Or maybe there is nowhere to run to.

    • USMC and America proud

There have been several earthquakes in western North Carolina, lately! The fear is that the Madrid fault is once again coming to life! The quakes in NC HOPEFULLY is the area releasing pressure at the fault there (small one but significant) and doesn’t cause the Madrid to turn loose! The last time IT popped, the Mississippi River ran backwards!

I hope the epicenter is in Willington!

I believe David Wilkerson stated that earthquakes would become the number one story in the world, in the future, and that earthquakes JOKES would be be told by many!

  • Lisa Montez

Pardon me but, aren’t (small) earthquakes and non-fatal vocanic eruptions a good thing because they relieve built-up pressure under the earth’s crust? And what does the south side of Mt. Hood have to do with the south side of Mt. St.. Helens?

    • JC Teecher

Where is all that pressure coming from?
There have always been cycles of catastrophic events around the globe. Just look at the many ice ages.

What sets these current events apart from the rest, is the fact that humanity has now crossed a threshold of moral degradation that has never been seen before, based solely on the numbers. IE: abortions.

According to statistics reported by the, Bound 4 Life website, there is an abortion performed whereby the life of an innocent baby is snuffed out, every two seconds, somewhere in the world.

More than one person is responsible for legalized murder in each of these cases. The murders usually surround a young female about twenty years of age, that gives “inconvenience” as the number one reason for her choice to abort life, and end the pregnancy.

The punishment will come for each and everyone of those responsible, unless there is repentance. In a lot of those cases, the parents will share a big part of that burden.

What does this have to do with the escalation in the numbers of earthquakes and volcanic eruptions? Basically it is prophetic events being fulfilled for the consummation of the end of this age.

Maybe there is some truth to the statement that the “great” shaking is taking place, so that hell can make more room for the coming inhabitants.

      Just sayin’.

    • USMC and America proud

It was an observation! The maps are showing that the same type activity that was occuring at St. Helens which erupted in 1980, is happening in exactly the same way at Hood! This caused a directonal eruption as the south part of the mountain blew to the south, instead of straight up out of the top! Look at what’s directly south of Hood, should it blow the same way!

      • Mike Smithy

Erasing Portland off the map would be a bonus Devil Dog. Think about it, millions of left wing loons crying out in terror and suddenly silenced by the force.

        • Jessy Scholl

Except Portland is to the west-northwest of Mt. Hood. What is going to hurt Portland is possible ash and lava flows. At the same time, there is a ski area, glaciers, a Indian reservation, and Bend that will really get the hit.

  • Mad Monkey

Australia had a 6.1 this last week. it has been more than 20y since one even remotely the same magnitude.

    • Orac4Prez

I didn’t hear about it in the news! Obviously, no one who buys Murdoch’s papers lives there so it’s not important.

    • Tacitus

1999. Unusual, but not that unusual. Certainly not the indication of anything out of the ordinary.

      • Muhammad Abbass

It was in 1989 and it was a 5.7. Not sure what you know about the seismic scale but it is logarithmic and 6.1 is more than twice as powerful actually. That’s not “similar magnitude” by a fair margin.

    • Muhammad Abbass

Uluru is a place which has had earthquakes before but it is notable to the aborigines as the center of the earth. If I read them right. it is like an anchor for the whole planet. These folk have lived here continuously for 40,000 years and also I believe come from a former race of humans before one of the great die offs. A remnant of an earlier civilization years older than modern science’s established age of modern man. Anyway my antennae went up at such a shaker at Uluru. I am also not sure what tourists get told about Uluru and the locals but chances are this isn’t common knowledge. I know them personally and am familiar with how often they throw up some BS story for the white man when they know he’s out to make a dollar off them. Their idea of humor is misleading arrogant whiteys who try to treat them like some science project or sideshow freaks. Oz is on a potentially active belt but in fact we’re one of the most seismically stable places on earth, for our continent it all happened a very long time ago . Any major activity here will be very extraordinary and unexpected.

  • ali

Someone’s been watching too many movies lately. Trust me there is nothing wrong with the earth crust at the moment. Yes global warming is an another phenomenon which is causing elevated temperatures globally

    • Mike Smithy

How many times do I have to tell you that Man Made Global Warming is a lie. It is a scam to fund the NWO Government.

      • voltaic

Yes, of course. NOAA, NASA, and every other climate focused scientific body says it is occurring, but I should listen to you and your one liners from radio and Fox clowns? Right…… HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

        • Mike Smithy

OK Shortbus, how is global warming responsible for record freezing winters with mountains of snow and two decades without any increase in warming? Indeed the data is contradictory enough to put in play the question are we entering the next ice age. It is entirely possible that the sun, and variations in the earth’s axis not man are wrecking havoc with our climate. The NSF points out that over the last 1,000 years deep cold periods have occurred five times. Each is correlated with declines in solar irradiance much like we are experiencing now with no human influence. “A global freeze will come about regardless of whether or not industrialized countries put a cap on their greenhouse gas emissions.

          • df NJ

Mike, I understand your feelings about NWO and everyone who disagrees with you is working for George Soros, but, there does seem to be pretty strong evidence of CO2 emissions from burning fossil fuels has created a greenhouse effect. Yes, slight changes in the energy output of the sun probably have equal if not more influence on changes. But, there’s not denying CO2 has been correlated with the rise in Earths temperature. Of course, correlation does not prove causation, but in this case it does seem to be compelling evidence. There are a lot health reasons to try to get rid of using fossil fuels besides global warming.

          Sorry, been a while…
Hate to point this out to you, but the originator and owner of the Weather Channel, who is widely regarded as a world class expert, says that it is a hoax! When asked why that some of the channel’s personnel seem to believe in man made global warming, his response was money! And he’s exactly right! Notice he’s not saying that there is no ‘global warming, but that there is no man made contributions! He points out the ‘global warming’ on Mars, and asks if we caused that too? The major (and possibly ONLY factor in the earth’s climate change is the sun as it goes through cycles of spots and eruptions toward earth! We cannot add to, or take away any of the suns effects!
Look for the hints of global cooling from this same crowd in the coming months!
It’s all about money! They make their livelyhood selling these scare tactics so that they get more government funding, and now quite a few of them are stepping away from the lies, and telling us the truth! Those that do, immediately get castigated for it by those who profit from the storyline!

          • voltaic

Like picking a needle out of a haystack. Overwhelming evidence points to manmade climate change but the guy on the weather channel says differently. Jim Jones had a different way to celebrate Christianity and I assume by your thinking that he was correct. Evolution is considered a fact, but some pastor in Alabama thinks differently so I will take the pastor’s word for evolution being a lie? You can always find the outlier, but ignoring overwhelming evidence is folly.

And you may be interested in some facts about Coleman: According to an article in Columbia Journalism Review, “Coleman had spent half a century in the trenches of TV weathercasting; he had once been an accredited meteorologist, and remained a virtuoso forecaster. But his work was more a highly technical art than a science. His degree, received fifty years earlier at the University of Illinois, was in journalism.

The current CEO of The Weather Channel, David Kenny, published his own open letter “clarifying the channel’s belief in global warming because ‘some people were confused’ by Coleman’s comments.” [18] Kenny wrote The Weather Channel was grateful that Coleman got it started 32 years ago, “but he hasn’t been with us in 31 years. So he’s not really speaking for The Weather Channel in any way today … I think we can all be proud of our resumes, but I would prefer people use the credentials they have today, not the credentials of three decades ago … The climate of the earth is indeed warming … The science is really clear. And I don’t like our brand being associated with something that’s not scientifically-based.”

Facts are terrible things to waste.

          • USMC and America proud

Yet other, more prominent ‘weather experts’ say, and give ‘facts’ that the whole thing is a hoax! So what IS clear to me, is that, just like there is two sides of a coin, there are two sides of this debate, and you will be on one side or the other! I choose to believe that God is still in charge of His planet! I choose to believe the experts who show ‘global warming’ is taking place on Mars, and the truth is that ALL climate on that planet, as well as this one, is caused by the sun, and of course we have nothing to do with causing the situation on Mars…or here! BUT that said, I’ll give you this as a point that I would stand by your side IF you and others were to start bringing it up! That point is, If you are serious about things that might contribute to our planet’s climate, then we need to start banning the use of Blacktop for paving! Want to reduce the heat in our nation? Start making all roads, parking lots, and rooftops out of non- heat holding (and actually increasing) materials! Ever walk barefoot on white concrete sidewalks, then cross the street to the other side? The sidewalk is totally bearable, but the blacktop will burn your feet in just a few short steps! Also do the same thing at say 9pm. The blacktop is STILL hot. The sidewalk is now even cooler!
That is one of the, if not THE largest contributer to the temperature in our towns and cities! We can easily start finding ways to make paving white, which reflects the suns heat back in space, and rooftops are the easiest! I know, because I’ve been there! There is a roof coating that is shiny white, and lowers the temps in all buildings that it’s applied to!
The only REAL man made warming is the use of heat absorbing and collecting materials used in building roads and buildings! This is the answer I give to those who want to believe in the pseudo religion of Global ‘Climate change’! Want to make a difference? Make this a priority! See how fast you get kicked in the face by suggesting that we can change our building habits!

      • jakartaman

We are entering a mini ICE age!!!
        Like in the middle ages
BTW – earth has been a frozen ball three times in its history

    • JC Teecher

Greenhouse gasses and pollution of various kinds are doing their part in the destruction of the earth’s eco systems. The many oil spills and chemical pollutants run off, from mass agriculture fertilization, is a bigger factor than most want to recognize. Just the effects from fertilization of lawns and gardens is staggering.
But; people will not stop doing it.

However; I don’t believe that carbon foot-printing has as big of an affect, as is being announced by the globalists.
The latest, Fukushima and Gulf spills have had broader effects than is being recognized; yet, more are surely to come.
No amount of “climate change tax rip-off plan” will offset any of the future screw ups, by man’s stupidity and greed.

      I agree, that the whole plan is to use the proposed tax money as another conduit to break the backs of the middle class, and stoke the coffers of the elite;
I.E., feed the nwo control mechanism.

Don’t more green house gases mean the earth will become a GREEN house, as in more plant life that breathes in carbon dioxide and breaths our oxygen?

These 40 eruptions are more harmful than all manmade warming and elephant farts don’t help either!

  • HM

40 volcanoes erupting right now is meaningless without context, i.e. how many volcanoes erupting at once is normal?

    • JustBill

      According to Volcano Discovery:
“At any given time, about 10-20 volcanoes are erupting on average, and it could be imagined that this number sometimes peaks to about 30-50 erupting volcanoes (on land). Many more than that is very unlikely. Including submarine volcanoes, these figure probably have to be multiplied by a factor of at least two or three, but much less is know about the activity of submarine volcanoes.
In Earth’s earlier history, there have been times when there were many more volcanoes active than today. Unless the Earth’s present geodynamic system changes dramatically, of which there is no indication of happening in any foreseeable future, such levels of volcanic activity will never return.”

      • JustBill

The earth is a closed system which runs in cycles. If it’s happened before it will eventually get around to happening again.

And “never” is a word I have learned to use very infrequently and always with great caution. It seems to be taken as a challenge by whatever “powers that be” to prove you wrong.

  • JC Teecher

After Noah’s flood, our Creator set a Rainbow as a covenant to man that He would never destroy the Earth by completely flooding it again. In that Rainbow, He also made the Covenant that there would always be periods of cooling and warming, as well as planting and harvesting.

I believe that Covenant is still in full effect, and will continue until the end of this Age.

Speaking of harvesting…. it is time to get those gardens in and plan for the urgently needed harvest and preserving/canning/drying of those harvests.
This years crop will most likely turn out to be one of the most valuable of harvests since modern times, i.e., about the last 100 years.

Our loving God would not be so evil as to kill so many innocent women and children. The story of the flood has always bothered me.

      • Richard O. Mann

What makes you think they were innocent? The parents were responsible for their children. None of the parents believed and got on the ark. Sin has been so bad at times that God ordered the complete destruction of people. Read where Israel started taking the promised land. Some cities were totally destroyed. Men, women, children, cattle, sheep, everything. God is love, but sin is sin. God cannot tolerate sin.

        • df NJ

If you do not think babies are innocent you need to see a psychologist.

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

All children before the age of reason are innocent and at death go directly to God…but if these children had grown up in their pagan anti God heathen culture they would have been doomed to the fate of their parents and culture.

          • mamabear111

The bible says a child up to the age of 12 or 13 is going to heaven.

          • jakartaman

            where in the bible???

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

Not in The Bible in an exact verse but the fact that Yeshua paid the bill for ALL sin one can easily impune that through the Graciousness of Our God that the Original Sin that we are all born with would be forgiven of those that never were aware/or able to ask for this forgiveness.

Not dogmatic but an assumption that I truly believe but who am I but a Sinner…a forgiven Sinner by the Grace of God.

          • Jessy Scholl

I need an exact verse. Kids as young as 4 or 5 years of age can act up and disobey their parents. Plus the Catholic Church tries to trap kids as young as 7 years of age. Seven to eight years old is about the age when one is supposed to get their first communion. Some dioceses make sure their children are confirmed before age 10.

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

Jessy no exact verse…….thanks for all your great posts.

          • Dont Mention The War

“Some dioceses make sure their children are confirmed before age 10”. Wouldn’t want them to be sentient and questioning before commitment would we now!

          • Jessy Scholl

But the so called mark of the beast isn’t the confirmation mark. That mark is supposed to make sure you could buy and sell. You can reject the Catholic Church, which I did, even after confirmation. The problem is that most people accept the church as the truth and end up regretting their decision for the rest of eternity. It is like that cartoon where one cow knows the herd is going to slaughter and the rest don’t care.

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

Mamabear I think we both have to accept that this is not dogma….we have both made an assumption based on the Love and Graciousness of our Great God Yahwah.

I would/still repeat this statement that those younger than age of reason going straight to the Father. But first adress this as not dogma. Thanks for all your posts.

          • Muhammad Abbass

It doesn’t say any such thing. It is an interpretation. 12 or 13. That’s as silly as the claims Aisha was 6 or 9 when married to Muhammad. There are no such numbers in the Quran either. it is interpretation.

          • lookinforawayout

All of mankind is sinful. No age limits. All have sinned and come short of the glory of the Lord. Babies are born with sin nature. All criminals were sinful babies, all pastors were sinful babies.

          • lookinforawayout

It is true what they do not have is recognition of sin, but once they have recognition of sin and can make the decision to accept/reject Christ – they are on the hook.

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

It is my position but not a dogmatic position that God passes the forgiveness of sin earned by the blood of Yeshua on the cross to babies, the very young and the mentally impaired.

These impaired or to young to be aware of the penalty of sin and the forgiveness of this sin made available by The Lord Yeshua are by the Grace of God forgiven the original sin that we are all born with.

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

All have Sinned and Born in Sin and Without The Graciousness of God and The Blood On The Cross of The Lord Yeshua…. Our Sins would not be Forgiven NOT EVEN the babies, the very young or the mentally impaired.

          • Muhammad Abbass

Yes that would make a lot of sense. Wipe out all the wicked adults but leave the babies alive. You place too much emphasis on the value of your life in this vast universe.

        • Muhammad Abbass

I look about me today and cannot help but think of Sodom and Gomorrah. I’ve had no problem recognizing the collective wickedness of entire populations of men since I passed my thirties and I’m nearly twice that soon. Not just the wickedness but it’s grotesque self satisfied preening hypocrisy all the while too. The scriptures are often misread and interpreted and literalists, incapable of recognizing historical and cultural context end up believing ridiculous things and making sideshows of themselves. The belief the earth is just 6000 years old for example or the idea some race of people today will carry a mark meant to portray them as sinners from antiquity. Certain animals may become totemised or conversely demonized for such primitive thinking too. Thus not only would Allah permit a severe culling of a largely disobedient people, He whose name among 99 is Bismillah (the most Merciful, all merciful fount of Mercy) would also not merely save a single extended family, that is mumbo jumbo thinking and why Muhammad had to come one last time to try and get it straight, in a language which would remain alive long enough for nothing to get changed by barely sentiment apes. In the ME region maybe only Noah and his mob kept their lives together but others in other regions of the world, which we know has suffered major collapses of the environment as we need it before also will have survived. Allah knows perfectly well as do modern scientists that if the population fell below a few thousands at least we’d be goners in very short order.

        • df NJ

Truth is the sky is blue. The truth is never bothersome. Opinions, however, are very irritating! Innocent or guilty is a human judgment that is very subjective. Facts and opinions are NOT the same thing.

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

The truth is: the sky is not blue but just appears blue…..not all is as it seems.

      • Bill G Wilminton NC

God cannot be evil, and for a just reason God did wipe out the population of the world….men , woman and children….except for the 8 on the ark.

There are reasons for all things. Before the flood the DNA of man had become contaminated. Now that is a story worthy of researching.

A man must be 100% human to have a soul the Bible describes the current time “As in the days of Noah” as in labs all around the globe man is experimenting with mixing DNA of man with animal and insect.

God did that so you could be here today living a somewhat “normal” life. God killed off a serious demonic power of satanic alien /angels mating with humans. We had some creepy creatures roaming around like The Cyclops and 12ft tall people. The entire populations was infected. Like people and sin. Sin is an infection too. It’s gross, stinky and leaks puss from your tongue which is attached to your evil corrupted heart. Yes, that’s where evil comes from…. the hearts on men, woman, and children. Get in touch with your inner evil and you will see.

Allah doesn’t even change the outcome when the hungry crocodile hunts the innocent baby gazelle. Your comprehension of the nature of the creator of the universe and the nature of life a mere construct of His for our benefit is typical of the giant Santa Claus imagery of Christendom. Correct living can alter the outcome for oneself. Obedience to His will can result in miracle, against all odds. My wife and I have been blessed just in the way we met, managed to escape horrific circumstances and certain doom by the hand of men and circumstances and we know others besides. However these outcomes had essential precursors. We were righteous, what we sought was correct and we did all we could for ourselves relying only on Allah when we had nothing left. However this also requires such acceptance of His omnipotence, omniscience and the rightness of any outcomes He permits. Such faith/commitment and the recognition of our own inability to comprehend the nature and mind of such a being is entirely Islamic and what first attracted me to it’s ways. This life is a game, a test and how you live is all there is.

      • Doc Dee

“Our loving God would not be so evil…” God is not evil. God simply will balance the justice equation. Israel was 70 x 7 (490 weeks = years) working their way sinfully into that equation and then came their captivity which lasted . . oh . . 490 years (70 x 7 weeks – years) If we know Jesus Christ as our Savior and we are killed in something of this sort, Praise the Lord, for as Paul so amply stated, “to die is gain” and therefore we are to be busy about the work of spreading the gospel for he also said, “for me to live is Christ” 🙂

Innocent women and children will be killed and isn’t it interesting that volcanos result in fires, the way the end is to be. 🙂

    • Muhammad Abbass

Yes but one might be forgiven for thinking we may be facing the end of an age.

  • Richard O. Mann

A group of incoming ICBMs from Russia or China, or even Iran, would take everyone’s mind off the earthquakes and volcanoes. The earthquakes and volcanoes can disrupt the economic system of the US, and the rest of the world for that matter. Throw in a few upticks in wars around the globe right now, and you have one fun day at the park. About the only certainty you have today is that you will die some day. The question you have to have the correct answer for is, after death, what? Even if you don’t get zapped by a quake or volcano, you are no guaranteed your next breath. Million ways to die out there and you never know when it is going to happen. Are you ready? Bottom line. Are you ready for what comes after death?

    • df NJ

So what do you think is necessary in order to be ready? Not many people come back from the dead to offer their advice.

Yes sure, that should do it. Wait till you’re scared and out of ideas and afraid to die and then go knocking. That should be a very convincing show and He will be fooled no problems. Oh yes, just accept Jesus as your savior and you’re in like flyn, I forgot.

I suggest He will know all that is in your heart. He will know what you are, who and why you did anything. I do not accept that any religion is a free ticket to God’s grace nor is any belief or lack of it the make or break issue, when He knows you better than you know yourself.

Most of us that are paying attention KNOW that something or things that are bad are in the works – We all can speculate – But in our guts we feel it. Will the world economy be the straw, will many natural disasters, or will war break out – will there be an unstoppable pandemic or will there be some of all of it.
      My questions would be:
      – How long will the catastrophe last (years)
      – How many will survive (5-10%)
      – How will humans remake whats left

People who spend their whole life studying this problem and nothing else may actually be experts for real and not just some political agenda. People who study this do not get paid very much and I doubt expect to become independently wealthy by their published results:

    “American Meteorological Society[edit]

The American Meteorological Society (AMS) statement adopted by their council in 2012 concluded:

There is unequivocal evidence that Earth’s lower atmosphere, ocean, and land surface are warming; sea level is rising; and snow cover, mountain glaciers, and Arctic sea ice are shrinking. The dominant cause of the warming since the 1950s is human activities. This scientific finding is based on a large and persuasive body of research. The observed warming will be irreversible for many years into the future, and even larger temperature increases will occur as greenhouse gases continue to accumulate in the atmosphere. Avoiding this future warming will require a large and rapid reduction in global greenhouse gas emissions. The ongoing warming will increase risks and stresses to human societies, economies, ecosystems, and wildlife through the 21st century and beyond, making it imperative that society respond to a changing climate. To inform decisions on adaptation and mitigation, it is critical that we improve our understanding of the global climate system and our ability to project future climate through continued and improved monitoring and research. This is especially true for smaller (seasonal and regional) scales and weather and climate extremes, and for important hydroclimatic variables such as precipitation and water availability.

Technological, economic, and policy choices in the near future will determine the extent of future impacts of climate change. Science-based decisions are seldom made in a context of absolute certainty. National and international policy discussions should include consideration of the best ways to both adapt to and mitigate climate change. Mitigation will reduce the amount of future climate change and the risk of impacts that are potentially large and dangerous. At the same time, some continued climate change is inevitable, and policy responses should include adaptation to climate change. Prudence dictates extreme care in accounting for our relationship with the only planet known to be capable of sustaining human life.”

The findings of that report, are highly questionable. The report came out in 2012. However in 2011, the ex-head of NOAA took over as the president of AMS. Considering how many times NOAA has published incorrect findings, based on political pressure. Therefore I consider any reports coming out of AMS, tainted by Government influence. Further I know of some members of AMS, who do not agree with these findings st all. Government tentacles extend into so called private societies, far deeper than you suspect.

in 1980 when St. Helens blew it’s lid I was living clear over in Helena Montana. We had a heavy layer of ash which caused many problems with auto and ventilation systems. The emergency preparedness bunker for the national guard had it’s ventilation system fail to deal with the ash, and pumped it into the bunker with the result being their com center was inoperable. Gave us all a real sense of security knowing we had an emergency preparedness center that was not prepared for emergencies! Multiply this glitch by many thousands and you will get a idea of what to expect in the event of an nationwide event! DO NOT count on “them’ to come and aid you. You will be disappointed!

You have to love the Swiss:

“The Swiss are discussing paying people $2,500 a month for doing nothing.

The country will vote June 5 on whether the government should introduce an unconditional basic income to replace various welfare benefits. Although the initiators of the plan haven’t stipulated how large the payout should be, they’ve suggested the sum of 2,500 francs ($2,500) for an adult and a quarter of that for a child.”

Don’t worry. When they do move here, they go directly to “gilded gated ghettoes”. Don’t you think that there is some logic to that?

  • Orac4Prez

I’m wondering, could there be a volcano in Sunny Florida? (He asks hopefully). That might give someone a bit of stress.

  • lumberjack

A smaller volcano is in Southern Oregon called Mount McLoughlin or old-timers know it as Mt. Pitt. I climbed it a few years back. It’s close to many moderate sized cities in Southern Oregon. You also have Mt. Shasta. That’s a huge volcano. All along “The Ring of Fire.”

  • Pastor Glenn

For those wondering, I looked it up and “on average” 10 to 20 volcanoes are active at any given time worldwide. Call it an average of maybe 15. So, 40 is STATISTICALLY SIGNIFICANT in being much higher than average.
Get close to Christ, and do it soon.

No matter the age, children need to obey the 10 commandments including the one that is all about children needing to obey their parents. Sin is sin and God makes no other allowances for and against sin except for babies.

    • Guest

Nobody said they shouldn’t. Sin is not obeying the Torah. We are teaching our children to obey the Torah, are you? Because it isn’t just the Ten Commandments, it’s the entire constitution, whichever part applies to the individual and/or family. The Ten Commandments is the framework for the rest of the commandments. Proverbs talks about training up a child. We need to look at the sum of all scripture. In the Torah, an adult child may be brought before the elders for stoning due to unchanging bad behaviour. Please note that when the children of Israel balked at not going into the promised land, everyone twenty and over were held accountable and subsequently died, save only two people. The younger generation went in. You can’t assume that the children did not complain, either. We have to look at the sum of all scripture.

By the way, there is some discussion as to exactly what happens to these young ones who die before they reach the age of accountability. It appears that the generation who did go in still had to decide “whom will you serve”. These children still may need to make a choice to surrender their lives to Yeshua/Jesus.

Either way, I understand where you are coming from. It is a topic worthy of discussion. This isn’t the forum for it, though.

There are reports of several of the cascade volcanoes erupting in the early 1800’s. Additionally, Lassen Peak erupted in 1914/15. So, with the exception of Mount St. Helens, the Cascades may be overdue for an eruption.

  • DaveHolden

I wonder if this is related to the reversal of the magnetic poles – the magnetosphere has been weakening.

From the article: “This is alarming because it was also the south side of Mt. St. Helens that violently erupted back in 1980.”

And how many of them were also preceded by increased, localized earthquake activity? Several appear to also be part of the “ring of fire”, a fairly consistent source of instability.

Whether there is an increase of activity or not, don’t throw out the possible predictive nature of increased localized earthquake activity.

We are having increased record setting heat waves and floods. The earth has its own mechanisms for correcting itself. Volcanic eruptions block sunlight/heat which will again, change the weather patterns.

As long as the politics of socialist wealth redistribution is in control of scientific inquiry, blocking real scientific study in favor of cherry picking data which supports the “story”, we are NOT learning more about what actually drives the weather and how it fits with earth’s natural cycles. So we will be less and less able to prepare and adapt to and survive those changes…and we can NOT control the weather. We cannot even accurately predict it.
