I Have No Fear Of Economic Collapse

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

No Fear - Public DomainI am not afraid of an economic collapse.  Coming from someone that runs “The Economic Collapse Blog”, I am sure that sounds like a very odd statement.  But it is true.  I have no fear of economic collapse, even though I am fully convinced that the hardest times that any of us have ever experienced are ahead.  I spend countless numbers of hours in front of my computer immersed in deeply disturbing information, and yet I sleep more soundly at night than I ever have before.  In fact, my wife and I seek to live in a constant state of “shalom”, which is the Hebrew word for peace.  So how is this possible?  How can “the economic collapse guy” not be absolutely overwhelmed by fear, depression and paranoia?

Unlike so many that write about these things, I believe that preparation for what is ahead goes far beyond the physical.  So I am constantly stressing the need for mental, emotional and especially spiritual preparation.  Personally, I have absolutely no idea how atheists are going to make it through what is coming.  They don’t understand why they are here, they don’t understand why history is unfolding the way that it is, and they have absolutely no hope for the future beyond this life.  If you greatly fear death and you can’t stand to lose the possessions that you have accumulated, the years ahead are going to be exceedingly difficult for you.

My relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ gives my life meaning and purpose.  He took the broken pieces of my life and turned them into a beautiful thing, and He can do the same for you.

I also strongly advocate physical preparation for the hard years that are coming.  My wife and I work very hard to store up food and supplies.  The funny thing is that there are Christians out there that actually accuse me of being “anti-faith” for doing these things.  Apparently they believe that we should all just sit around watching television while we wait for God to do everything for us.

But that isn’t how it works.  In the Bible, we see that exercising faith almost always involves action.  Noah, Joseph and others acted in faith based on the warnings that they had received, and they were commended for it.

Are we acting on the warnings that we have received?  For much more on this subject, please see my previous article entitled “Is It “Anti-Faith” To Prepare For The Coming Economic Collapse?

Knowledge and preparation help to eliminate fear.  If you understand what is happening, and you know why it is happening, and you have prepared for what is happening, it makes the challenges that are ahead of you easier to tackle.

When you were in school, who got the most freaked out by quizzes and tests?

It was those that were not prepared for them of course.

In the years ahead, a lot of people are going to be jumping off of buildings, jumping in front of trains, etc.  Others will plunge into a dark hole of depression and despair that they will never come back from.

The vast majority of those people will have never listened to the warnings and will have done nothing to get prepared.

Those that accuse me and others like me of “spreading fear” have got it completely backwards.

We are not “spreading fear” at all.  We are spreading hope.  There is hope in understanding what is happening and there is hope in getting prepared.

The preparations that are being made right now all over the nation are going to save countless numbers of lives.  Those that are mocking preppers and that are telling everyone that everything is going to be just fine are going to deeply regret doing so someday.

Although I will admit that sometimes preppers are prone to a “bunker mentality”, and that is not the right approach.

Now is not the time to dig a hole and try to hide from the world.

You were born for such a time as this.  It is when times are the darkest that the greatest heroes are needed.  Personally, my wife and I believe that the greatest move of God the world has ever seen is coming, and we very much want to be part of it.

Yes, the years ahead are going to be extremely challenging.  In fact, I don’t think that any of us can truly grasp the horror that is coming because we don’t really have any frame of reference for it.

It is kind of like trying to explain to someone that was blind from birth what a tree looks like.  You can spend hours describing the tree, but unless you have some sort of frame of reference, the understanding simply is not going to be there.

Sometimes I try to sit down and write about what is ahead of us, but I find that words fail me.  For example, I recently did a piece entitled “The Last Days Of Normal Life In America” that was very popular, but the truth is that it was woefully inadequate because I don’t really have a good frame of reference for what we are about to face.  I don’t know that too many people out there actually do.

As “watchmen on the wall”, those of us that are trying to warn this nation are just trying to do the best that we can with what we have.

And we aren’t just sitting behind our computers “cursing the darkness” either.

A few of my fellow “watchmen” have joined with me to try to do something special.  Nathan Leal, Benjamin Baruch, Lyn Leahz and I have organized a nationwide call to prayer and repentance on the weekend of September 18th to September 20th.  It is going to be held at the Sandpoint Events Center in Sandpoint, Idaho, and we already know of people coming in from nine different states and Canada for this event.

In addition, similar gatherings are being organized all around the nation, and thousands that cannot attend an event in person are going to be able to participate by watching the livestream on Lyn Leahz’s 69,000 subscriber YouTube channel.

In the end, there is a limit to what each one of us can do individually, but if we work together we can collectively make a great difference.

Now is not a time for fear.  Perfect love casts out fear.  This is a time for the Remnant to rise up and to spread a message of hope even in the midst of all the chaos and darkness that is coming.

Yes, the times ahead are going to be more chaotic that any of us could probably imagine right now.  But let us reject all fear, depression and despair, and let us endeavor to become people of great faith, great hope and great love.

What I am looking forward to about the coming collapse is it will be the end of liberalism. There is nothing about welfare dependency, drug addiction or sexual deviancy that translates over to skills needed for the collapse. Those who favored the gov’t and big banks over individuals will suffer the most. Those who put freedom and liberty first will ride out the storm.

    • ….but this has nothing whatsoever to do with humanity…liberals, conservatives, bible believers, non believers did nothing.

This is very very ancient….This is not about us but about the force ..its making its jump to higher dimension, so the destruction

      • victor

the force couldn’t keep Jesus in the grave.
He was raised from the dead, He holds the power to death and life for all eternity.
So He is in control. He is above all, for He’s the creator as well.
All this other stuff has to happen, as was foretold long ago.

      • Syrin

No, you are wrong. The collapse has been organized by wealthy bankers and powerful politicians for literally generations.

      • One Who Knows…

EXACTLY. I have been following these comments for a while. So far, yours is the first to mention something of EPIC PROPORTIONS. This event is COSMIC and goes beyond man’s control. IT HAS BEEN FORETOLD. The COSMOS is shifting and life on Planet Earth will be affected. Life will forever change as we now know it.

    • SyrinIsAFascist

      Spoken like a true fascist

      • Syrin

Sorry Gary, you will die, but thanks for taking the time to create my name in your title. The real fascist are you big gov’t loving f’heads who place the state over the individual. I am true libertarian, but someone with as much state propaganda in their head as you will never be able to understand reality.

        • SunnyFlaSnotress

We ALL die. Timing is everything.

      • SunnyFlaSnotress

        I see him as naive.

    • SunnyFlaSnotress

You think an economic collapse will bring about the end of the oldest profession and drug addiction? If anything, it’s likely to fuel it.

  • ali

The economy though is destined to crash but it will not be the end of things as we know it. People will loose jobs, their homes, cars but all this has happened in past too.

Things will go back to normal even if there is a collapse at some point which doesn’t seems to be happening this month as was predicted. Live your life in peace not in fear of doom and gloom.

    • Harbinger

“Things will go back to normal.” Things will not go back to normal if history is any indication. For example, the Babylonian Empire, Persian Empire, Rome, etc. Did they return to Noah after their downfall?

      • ali

No they didnt but then again Rome or persian Empire downfall wasnt the end of roman or persian people or culture. Americas downfall doesn’t mean that the Americans will cease to exist.

Things will get tough but trust me we will get through it.

  • Ashley

I have great peace about what is to come for my children and I. However, what bothers me (and I pray often about it) is how can I possibly turn anyone away that is hungry? I can’t imagine some half starved child knocking on my door and turning them away. Am I the only Christian struggling with these thoughts? I simply don’t feel like it’s possible to prepare enough.

    • G21

Feed everyone who asks. Let your heart and hands be open in generosity.
The Lord loves a cheerful giver.

      • Ashley

That is what I hope for but I will not have enough for every family. What if word of mouth gets out and a selfish thief with entitlement mentality takes all you have? That I believe is quite possibly where God will test faith.

        • Bob Simmons

Ashley, I know EXACTLY how you feel. I’m wrestling with that myself. I am trying to get my church to get the congregation to prepare, however they are reluctant. It would allow us to spread out assistance as well as; If we wanted to help someone, we could say “I don’t have anything but I know someone who does” which would ensure our security. We then involve the church with the distribution of our goods, keeping us safe. As to the problem of giving too much… Thats tough. I have decided that if I give something, they must give me something in return. “He who does not work, does not eat”

          • geo .

The very purpose of the tithe is to have food in the storehouse. but most churches ignore this scripture as they are teaching that they will be swooped away in a pre- tribulation rapture and there is no need to prepare. they all claim members of the church are family. well God says that a man that wont care for his own family is worse than an infidel. Noah was told to make provision, as was joseph for the 7 years of famine. we will begin the 7 years of famine shortly and I can assure you most of the churches will be totally unprepared. They have been blinded by the god of this world.

          • GSOB

In the Old Testament the tithe was used to support the priests.

            (Levites)

There was a change of the priesthood from the Levites to Jesus Christ and this implies a change in the law that assigned the Levites to be priests. How much has been changed?

Hebrews says that the old covenant is obsolete.

            That is to say…..
The package of laws that commanded tithes to be given to the Levites is obsolete.

Honor God by voluntarily returning some of the blessings He gives us — this is still a valid principle.

The only place that a percentage is required is within the old covenant.

There is good precedent for tithing before Sinai, but no proof that it was required.

          • baofeng

            That is 100% correct.

        • SMASH THE TROLL MACHINE

          Jesus Feeds the Five Thousand

13 When Jesus heard what had happened, he withdrew by boat privately to a solitary place. Hearing of this, the crowds followed him on foot from the towns. 14 When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick.

15 As evening approached, the disciples came to him and said, “This is a remote place, and it’s already getting late. Send the crowds away, so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food.”

16 Jesus replied, “They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat.”

17 “We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish,” they answered.

18 “Bring them here to me,” he said. 19 And he directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the people. 20 They all ate and were satisfied, and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. 21 The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children.

        • Hannibal_32

It is very easy to trust Him in the time of plenty. I can say to just trust God, but I bet I’ll have the same quandry when it comes down. Keep everything out of your life that comes between you and God and do your best. Pray for me and I’ll pray for you. God bless..

10 Virgins??? Saaay….that’s a better deal than the Muslims are getting!! Hot diggity!

          • VigilanteCaregiver

            LOL!

        • Mick J

Thing is….you need to have heartfelt conversations with your loved ones, and any others who you think may come to you. Tell them that they should be preparing. Tell them emphatically that you will only be able to care for yourself and yours.
People who have been warned and warned again, and still do not make any attempts at prepping….well….tough love kidz.

      • Hungry.

G21, I am hungry. Can I please have a small amount of food?

        Sincerely Alwaystomorrow.

        • G21

No, I would give to those who ask because they’re hungry, not to those who ask because they’re mocking.

          • Hungry.

I am not mocking you at all just joking around.

          • G21

            Sorry, I’m too sensitive.
Yes, I’ll give you some food.

          • victor

Hands in the air don’t shoot…lol

          • Ashley

During World War II there were Christians (who under thin food rationings themselves ) gave what they had to the Jews that were hiding from the Nazis. Their very life was in danger if they were caught helping the Jews but they helped reguardless of any consequences. I personally believe that helping others will put myself and my family in danger if a full blown economic collapse takes place. Will there be Christians who rise to the challenge of helping others during a economic collapse?Even when there is reason to believe they are in danger for doing so? Will I be one? These are questions I never see discussed on this site and I wonder if I’m the only one who has peace but is concerned about how to help those who have not prepared.

          • G21

Smile while giving food to the hungry and smile when you’re taken to task over it.

I used to ignore the roadside beggars – you know, the ones holding signs asking for money. My standard comment was, “They’re just going to buy drugs or alcohol with the money.”
Then one day I was riding with a friend who stopped and gave one of these guys some money. I asked him why he would do such a thing since they’d probably just waste it.
He said, “Jesus didn’t say to find out what they were going to do with the money. He just said to give.”
            I’ll never forget that.

Christianity isn’t correct doctrine, memorizing scripture or belonging to the correct church.
Christianity is loving the unlovable. It’s showing the love of God to a world which is lost and afraid.

          • Bob332

As my Mom once said,” You NEVER know when you will see the face of Christ”

          • Nailed it!

          • Tom Burriesci

I had a similar experience of not giving because of what they might do with the money. Then one day in 1982 after just closing my business due to bankruptcy a man on the street asked me for some change. I looked at him and told him to get a job. I couldn’t sleep for many nights because of what I did. Being brand new in Christ I turned to Him and I was immediately given this Word; I judge the heart, just give from your heart and don’t concern yourself about the heart of the one who receives. I asked Him for another chance to give to a street person and within a week a man asked for change in a parking lot. I couldn’t get the change out of my pocket fast enough to give to this man.

          • SunnyFlaSnotress

It’s true that change given usually goes to fuel an addiction.. that’s why I prefer to give a burger though it may go to waste because the addicted oftimes have no standard appetite. And it is far better for the addicted to get help than to have their addicted fueled with money. At the same time, help isn’t always as available for the addicted as some may think.
I wouldn’t feel too bad about that first guy. Most non-addicts seek out agencies that will properly help them vs begging on the street.
I’ve even softened up on the addicted some. I gave a quarter to a fellow in a library knowing full well that it was likely going to buy vodka.. but the joy in that poor guy was immediate, and if given in minor increments a lil change may do more good than harm. You know actually it is far more dangerous, even potentially fatal, for an alcoholic in the midst of their addiction to stop cold turkey than to wean off the alcohol.
I’m sure that guy wasn’t so badly shaking and ill that you were needed to save him.

          • victor

true, it’s hard when we see other people who are frauds, who are on the same street corner or wherever. Even u tube has postings where people pretend to be disabled.
Some are mental and really out there.
I just believe they will have to give an account to the Lord when all is said and done.
I believe it’s a matter of our heart.
If we give, He will bless us more, so that we can have for ourselves, and give out again.
It may come in different ways, maybe a little extra over time, even something comes on sale. I have even had my prescription change, from name brand that I had to get, to a generic, after so long, in time before it can go generic. So I saved money that way about $50.00 and consider that a blessing.

            Need I comment?

          • Karie Nolte

The difference is, in times of total collapse and anarchy, it will be a completely different picture. There will not be just a single roadside beggar here and there to deal with and decide upon, but instead, several different types of groups to deal with. There will be the more harmless but hungry folks, there will also be the hoards of hungry, unprepared looters who will stop at nothing to take what you have. The worst type will be the armed but no food type and those armed and looking to exploit the situation to plunder, pillage and destroy both for the gain and the thrill of it…just look at Ferguson. It is good to think on how you might respond in advance and to be prepared but only when the time comes and with the guidence of the Holy Spirit will it become more apparent the right choice to make. As for our household we will hope for the best but are prepared for the worst. Living in a rural area of Montana with like-minded neighbors this all comes natural but yet there are still things to think about which is why I appreciate this blog so much and all the effort Michael puts into it.

          • victor

The Holy Spirit will guide you and give you wisdom, as well as be your strength.
I have wondered about the story of the 10 foolish virgins.
I know the story had to do with being prepared, when the Lord comes.
So what happens now, with the foolish today? Who didn’t believe there would be any sort of collapse, or think to save food.
Will God use this opportunity for us to speak to them about salvation, and we will win them over by our love.
Only He knows what will come to play out.
I think at this time to, the power of the Spirit will be even greater, like the early church when the disciples were around.

Then the righteous will answer Him, “Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?” The King will answer and say to them, “Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even to the least of them, you did it to Me.” (Matthew 25).

My duty is to my family and nothing or no one else. In a complete breakdown of society it will all be over pretty quick, a month most will have starved. If you have food it will be taken unless you defend it. I don’t think people understand the magnitude of how this could possibly turn out. You will become harden quick or be a casualty.

          • Rick

We can do all we can to help others, however in Nazi Germany the Jews couldn’t help themselves. They had to rely on others. In today’s America (and the world), we are the Jews. Christians are the new target for the evil powers that be. We will be the ones looking for hiding places.

You may be correct about putting yourself in danger. In fact, in a full blown economic collapse in the US, with the low quality of many of our people, I would think if the word got out that you had food, your home would be destroyed in 1 hour and who knows what would happen to your family. Think of the riots in cities here just because 1 man is killed by a cop – a minor incident compared to a situation where those same people are actually starving. If, as stated above, the famine is to last for 7 years, you best keep your food a deep, dark, secret. Not one peep. I have no idea what the collapse will look like, or if it will even happen, but the US could be a war zone – or worse.

          • GSOB

There is no virtue in going broke to try and help someone else from poverty.
Help them, the poor, you may. But be on guard, your good works don’t merit salvation.
Good works did purchase salvation for us, but not our good works.
Christ became poor that we may become rich in Him,… in so many ways.
But we are not to simply become poor in order to make others rich.
Love your neighbor as yourself means just that.
            Preach the gospel of God.

Not a good idea to give away food. You now have opened yourself up to either an ambush because you must have more food or you will starve feeding people who did not prepare. My family comes first period. Anyone who is a Mormon should be very careful these days letting anyone know you are Mormon.

I’m going further: Saving seeds, breeding rabbits, and printed an excellent library. When things go bad we can offer a small amount of sundries and dry goods, but also some means to farm for themselves. Can offer a single female rabbit and allow my buck for breeding her. And some seeds to grow their own. After a while instead of a dependent – I have another trading partner!

My philosophy is I will help anyone who approaches me with an open hand and who asks for food or shelter but, if they approach with the intent of stealing or causing me harm then they have sealed their fate. I am a man of peace and will always help those in need but, even the shepherd picks up his staff and rod to protect his flock.

      • Ashley

I agree but…… how will you know those you graciously help won’t turn back and tell others you have food? It just seems logical that they would gang up and come to take all that is yours.
Faith and prayer will be the greatest tool of a prepper. I don’t know how anyone will be happy in hard times without if. I hope my faith is strong enough to help others regardless of the possible outcome. Only time will tell.

        • Preacher62

All that we have is not ours, it belongs to God and if God has given it to us and by some chance it is taken away, rest assured that God is more than capable of restoring that which was lost up to and including your life.

          • victor

You made me think of Job, about it all being taken away.
Then Lazarus, how he raised him from the dead. Jesus.

          • Ashley

My pastor is doing a Wednesday night study on the book of Job, so naturally that is who I thought of as well. I’m not in any way as strong as Job but I know that the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away. Blessed be the name of the Lord.

        • Harbinger

Our faith is only of value when we excersise it. For me I know that what is coming will not be resolved with violence or fire power. The term “manna” literally means, what’s this. In other words God can provide whatever is needed. That’s where faith comes in, you either believe or you don’t believe. How do you think Jesus survived for 40 days in the wilderness without food? God can do anything he wants and to provide substance for our bodies without physically eating is not beyond the scope of His ability. Don’t get me wrong, I like food and have plenty of it set aside but, it is my faith in God that sustains me. In order to do great things we must have absolute faith.

          • Quetzol-43

            1 ) You aren´t Josuah.

2 ) No acts of faith, he simply knew that he existed and what he could do.

Have you seen that yourself? Have you tested if that work?

Events in case countries that has experienced famine defintively show that God does not reward faith with no need to eat, drink or breath. People have handled poisonous snakes in the belief that God would prevent the poison from killing them but died when that did not happen. You are doing stupid things? You knowingly endanger your own life and expects it to be saved?
Well no, God won´t shield you from the consequences of your own actions, that has been prooved again and again.

          • Harbinger

Why so cynical? My God can do anything and we are entering a season where supernatural will become more evident for those who excersise their faith. Remember Gods grace and mercy are new each day because without it we are lost. You must first go to the river and gather the gems and exchange them for gold before you have understanding.

Well said… all. Do what you can, with what you have and the time that is given to you. Trust God to do all else. He surely will, if it’s His will. He is God, we are His servants. That’s just the way it is. This life is just a vapor.. it seems all important while we are in the middle of it.. but we who know Him.. and there are many here who obviously do know Him.. deep down, we know it really is just a vapor.. the real life awaits us. Remember what He said.. when you see these things come to pass, don’t be worried or depressed; but lift up your heads and jump for joy because your redemption draws near. Think about it brothers and sisters… we really could be part of the generation that sees Jesus return with our own eyes !! The hope of millions past.. who lived and died and now await the promise in sleep.. we… us.. our generation.. really could be the ones in all of creation who have been chosen to be blessed to see His return with our own eyes !!! Worry not.. prepare as best as you can.. but worry not. He is God and He is our God. And we just might really really be the ones who will not taste death, who will see the skies peel back and hear the Trumpet sound..and see our Lord fulfill His promise.. I go to prepare a place for you, and if I go I will surely return.. that where I am, you may be with me. Think on these things and comfort one another with these words until the soon return of our Lord..

        • I have really enjoyed your honest treatment of this topic . Of course you would have to lock and load . The poor will always be with us . Just spare a little for the least . . God will do the multiplying for the masses if that is his plan .

What exactly is faith without thoughtfull action and doing what you should be doing?

How will faith and prayers prevent the looters from seizing whatever food one has? Just look at what has happened in African countries, all the prayers and faith did not end the famines and has not beaten Boko Haram. If you give away all the food you have and starve that is suicide.
Or the occupation of Iraq, how many bullets and rockets were deflected or stopped by prayers? Zero.
How many were deflected/stopped by the armor of a vehicule? A lot.
Events in the 1770s, did George Washington and his followers just pray for victory or did they do everything they could to win?
Don´t believe something because it makes you happy in hard times but because it is true, plenty of scientologists and moslems are happy too.
Worry about doing your duty and do it well comes first, praying that it make a a difference comes when action is either taken or ongoing.

Ashley: EXCELLENT thought. You take care of your family etc and Our Lord will take care of the rest. You follow your heart. We can only do so much for other’s. I personally donate $$$ for various causes. As long as you feel in your heart that you have done what’s financially and physically possible…I believe, you are righteous in the sight of Our Lord!

      • I remember a story where a prophet came to a woman hungry and she had scarcely enough for her needs . But she too just a small measure of her flour and oil and baked him a loaf . It was considered righteous . She didn’t give it all in a seed faith offering expecting a miracle . We are expected to recognize the physical reality that we are in , provide for our needs , and give a small measure to the least of these even out of our needs .

There is no example of anyone starving themselves and giving away their provision and getting back 10 fold magically . This is a doctrine cooked up by mega churches that want people who can’t afford it to give anyway . We have all seen such foolish giving not work too many times . Sadly the starving of Africa are even suckered in by the seed faith charlatans , then told their faith was lacking if they didn’t receive their blessing . The charity should be going the other way .

God gives more when you give more. My husband says the devil may squeeze your neck but God won’t let him chock you (sounds funnier in Spanish). When we lived in Mexico, I gave away a lot of my garden produce to hungry neighbors. One day I went out into my garden and A lot of baby chicks came out from under my plants. A chicken flew over the fence and left her baby chicks there. I raised them because I did not know whose they were. We ate hundreds of chickens and eggs from those chicks. That was about eight years ago. Still have chickens from those chicks.

      • Ashley

What a great testimony and I thank you for sharing! In 2008 my husband lost his job and the Christian school where I taught no longer had the funds to pay us teachers. This went on for over six months and I admit that I was scared to death. We were blessed to never go to bed hungry (lots of beans and cornbread) and somehow our bills were always paid. I can’t tell you how many times in that six month period that someone gave us money saying, “Please take this, the Lord laid it on my heart.” My faith was greatly strengthened during this time and I learned many valuable lessons. When this trial was over we worked hard to pay off vehicles, credit cards, and unnecessary debt as God showed me that much of the pain I felt was of my own doing. I am literally grateful for the hard times.

          Psalm 119:71, 72

    • SunnyFlaSnotress

We all constantly turn away starving children. Just because it isn’t in front of us doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. Starvation and malnutrition are cruel realities of the world that Christians generally prefer not to think about. Oh yes, there are efforts.. but at the same time, death persists. The food given to the obese person in America could have been given to a starving child elsewhere. Every dollar you have could be used to save someone’s life. Just because we do good things doesn’t mean that we don’t have our own inhumanities. That’s why I say that we should accept ProChoice. It is better to fight for the truly living, than to force the unborn into the world.

      • If times got that bad we would all be turning away beggars . It wouldn’t be any wiser to empty your cubby for one or a thousand . In the case of a thousand maybe give to the least , the child , the afflicted , the rejected . It is not how best to serve society but God . He knew we couldn’t afford to feed the world and are too small to love everybody .

Our call to charity is first to the least of these , Jesus was speaking of the ones society would call the expendable . The babies , the sick , widows and orphans . Not who was most likely to survive but the least in the eyes of society .

Its more than about food . We are all going to die . Its also about spiritual support , coming to the defense of those who society does not defend because of the pop culture . In our times its unborn babies that are deemed the burden on society and sub human . It has often been the Jews , it has been black people . Whom society would deem least worthy . those are ” the least of these ” that Jesus taught should be first .

        • SunnyFlaSnotress

Jesus never said a thing about the unborn. That is a modern socio-political religious construction designed to bolster populations while oppressing women.

We all have much to learn about the sanctity of human life……

“Elizabeth was carrying her unborn child John the Baptist when Mary who was pregnant with Jesus visited her.
Unborn John immediately leaped in Elizabeth’s womb upon hearing Mary’s voice.
The unborn son of Elizabeth recognized the unborn baby Jesus in Mary’s womb and he was so very excited and overcome with joy that he jumped in Elizabeth’s womb!
This is an absolute incredible documentation of an event by the gospel writer and physician Luke, who was known for his attention to detail.
The first person to truly recognize and celebrate the immaculate conception of the One who would wash away our sins and lead us to our permanent home in heaven was an unborn child — what eternal wisdom!

    • Kel

I feel the same way. I live alone and have prepped, and as a Christian don’t want to turn away anyone in need. But I live in a high rise apartment… when one person knocks on my door seeking food, and I give it, it won’t take long before there’s a 2nd knock and a third and then a mob knocking down my door when I shout from the other side that I have nothing left… It IS something I struggle with. I feel the same way about owning weapons. I had thought about getting a weapon for protection… but then I question whether Jesus would want us to use it… He scolded Peter for pulling out his sword and slicing off the ear of Malchus… Jesus taught ‘if someone strikes you on your right cheek, offer your left as well’… Maybe we are supposed to surrender, forgive, love and be martyred as opposed to defending oneself with deadly weapons… ‘he who lives by the sword, dies by the sword’… Those are both my struggles…

A great resource is e-sword. You can download it, many Bible versions, and lots of great commentaries. Also, if you have a smart phone, Biblehub on the internet has Bibles and also commentaries.
Here is some commentary on this verse from Barns:

But now – The Saviour says the times are changed. “Before,” he sent them out only for a little time. They were in their own country. Their journeys would be short, and there was no need that they should make preparation for a long absence, or for encountering great dangers. But “now” they were to go into the wide world, among strangers, trials, dangers, and wants. And as the time was near; as he was about to die; as these dangers pressed on, it was proper that they should make provision for what was before them.
A purse – See the notes at Mat_10:9. He intimates that they should “now” take money, as it would be necessary to provide for their wants in traveling.
Scrip – See the notes at Mat_10:10.
And he that hath no sword – There has been much difficulty in understanding why Jesus directed his disciples to arm themselves, as if it was his purpose to make a defense. It is certain that the spirit of his religion is against the use of the sword, and that it was not his purpose to defend himself against Judas. But it should be remembered that these directions about the purse, the scrip, and the sword were not made with reference to his “being taken” in the garden, but with reference “to their future life.” The time of the trial in Gethsemane was just at hand; nor was there “time” then, if no other reason existed, to go and make the purchase. It altogether refers to their future life. They were going into the midst of dangers. The country was infested with robbers and wild beasts. It was customary to go armed. He tells them of those dangers – of the necessity of being prepared in the usual way to meet them. This, then, is not to be considered as a specific, positive “command” to procure a sword, but an intimation that great dangers were before them; that their manner of life would be changed, and that they would need the provisions “appropriate to that kind of life.” The “common” preparation for that manner of life consisted in money, provisions, and arms; and he foretells them of that manner of life by giving them directions commonly understood to be appropriate to it. It amounts, then, to a “prediction” that they would soon leave the places which they had been accustomed to, and go into scenes of poverty, want, and danger, where they would feel the necessity of money, provisions, and the means of defense. All, therefore, that the passage justifies is:
            1. That it is proper for people to provide beforehand for their wants, and for ministers and missionaries as well as any others.
            2. That self-defense is lawful.
Men encompassed with danger may lawfully “defend” their lives. It does not prove that it is lawful to make “offensive” war on a nation or an individual.

They’re honest struggles. I have the same thoughts. For us who believe in Jesus, we have eternal life. So if someone kills us, what? Our spirit goes to be with the Lord.
If we kill a non believer, what? Where do they go? Of course we know that answer to. Then you got people who are bent on evil, like hitler, who had to be stopped. God used Pharaoh as well, and the word says, Pharaoh harden his heart.
God did a lot of things in the Old Testament,
        that were miraculous as well.
What can, or will He do in the future?
We speculate a lot right now, what could happen.
        Only God knows.
Just like the death angel passed over the Israelites, and killed the first born of the Egyptians. What can He do for His children today?

Well stated and agreed. Thank you so much. Discernment and Trust in God is what we have going for us… We have to Trust in Jesus — He won’t forsake us or abandon us. There is no doubt that we are entering into a season where there will be great difficulty: however, there will be excitement and joy as well. It all depends on where your focus is. “The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom, and to shun evil is understanding.” We have plenty of knowledge but, we lack wisdom and understanding. Only those who can humble themselves before God and seek His counsel will be able to gain the wisdom and understanding that is needed for the days ahead.

  • Preacher62

Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and there will never be reason to fear. If the creator of all that is has promised to provide for your needs, if you will only surrender to him; what could there possibly be to fear? The only offer of salvation that was ever made, is when Jesus offered to trade us eternal life in EXCHANGE for the life we have now. The problem is that most people do not wish to give up the life they have now and are just looking for a god that is willing to make the one they have now better. Please! surrender now before it is too late. Quit worrying about this life, what you shall eat or what you shall wear or what might or might not happen tomorrow. This earthly life is fleeting at best and miserable at worst, but the One True God offers his children a life and a home that is far beyond our imagination. God Bless

  • Preacher62

We have a little food, but no more than any other year with winter approaching. We can what we grow as we have done for most of our lives. God provided that food and we will gladly share with those who ask nicely. If we by chance expend our stores I have no doubt that God will restock them. 3 million Jews were fed by God from thin air for 40 yrs. The Lord fed Elijah for many days from a bottomless barrel of wheat. And for many more days by the delivery of the ravens. “I have been young and now I am old, but I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor their children begging bread”. Seek the Kingdom of God first and he will provide. God Bless

  • Barry Goldwater

Even if you choose not , yet you have chosen nonetheless.
Bob Dylan stated it much better in ” Gotta Serve Somebody “.
Many Christians today have chosen to ignore the warnings and haven’t prepared. What is taught in many Churches today is woefully short on addressing just what is needed for the dark days ahead and I must be honest here , woefully short on true Christian teaching in general. I believe it’s incumbent upon each of us to prepare as best we can and to inform our neighbors as much as possible. Americans will face the ruin of a comfortable , “fat and happy” lifestyle all empowered by years of deficit spending like drunken sailors on a weekend rout. This is when the metal hit’s the pavement and the weak, ill prepared will soon discover their shortcomings. Soon thereafter lawlessness will grip this nation.
Michael , I’ve been reading your posts all year now and I sense of late a bit more urgency and a more personal message , at least to those who have ears and will listen. I’m very grateful to you for what you’re doing here and in contrast to another respondent I suggest that you say what you do precisely because you ARE living in the real world.
Please keep up the good work and know that I appreciate you so very much. God bless you sir !

  • SozoedbyChrist

Michael writes: “Now is not a time for fear. Perfect love casts out fear. This is a time for the Remnant to rise up and to spread a message of hope even in the midst of all the chaos and darkness that is coming.” And I add “Amen and amen!”
What I believe this difficult time will bring is a refining to the Body of Christ. We will prayerfully rise to the occasion of desperation with a renewed faith in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, handing out not only food and resources from our churches, but the powerful Word of God which undeniably changes lives and gives eternal hope to all who choose to receive it. Thank you for your words of faith and hope, brother. May many hear and accept them.

You remind me of one of the saddest verses of the Bible:

“Then Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuadest me to be a Christian.” Acts 26:28

So close to joining the family of God, but forever lost.

        • Karie Nolte

I believe some like the attention they believe that being a so called atheist brings to them. Really, they secretly enjoy basking in the glow of the Christian’s light and hope some will rub off on them and they will “see the light” that they might also have a purpose in life and belong to the eternal family of God. I truly pray it works for them. God works in mysterious ways, amen!

    • fwalker15

Although I don’t see a collapse in September nor the supernatural cycle that will collapse civilization there is a cycle of mutual funds reporting each end of March June September December. September may be key strength wise as many fund managers end of year bonus may be a significant factor. All appears ridiculous but that is how the “game” works. If the “buyer of last resort” can catch them behind the curve chasing performance into the end of the quarter they can then unload to those bagholders that must chase benchmarks per their fund charters. Add in the frb monetary policy changes then the calendar flip to 2016 and fresh tax year all may add to the pressure October – likely by the second to third week and lasting through the second half of 2016. Although believe it or not higher rates may have an overall net positive for the broader economy, financial markets may remain under pressure.

      • GoldenGirl

Your take is very interesting. Martin Armstrong’s ECM also points to October 1 (2015.75) as being a turn, but you are the only one I have read who brings the quarterly fund reporting into the mix. It will be most interesting to watch ~ and learn.

Whille I am one of the leftist athiests, I have to honestly commend you on your faith as it is spiritual fortitude which will see us through the rapidly approaching dark times.

At the end of the day if we disagree on Medicare or military budgeting…these ideas are really a drop in the bucket as we will all will really need to challenge ourselves to work beyond our differences if we hope to make it through the next few years.

You claimed that if I said I was adopting, you would give me the benefit of the doubt and believe it. When I did (and my posting history has on record that we were anticipating the adoptions by me building their bedroom furniture), you said it was a lie and didn’t believe it. You lied.

Second of all, you also said you were a patent lawyer to MalcomReynold’s. (And you have both confirmed and denied that claim – another lie). So, if you really are a lawyer, then you’d know that if I did post proof, I would be endangering the children. Despite anticipating your troll responses of “that’s not your kids – more proof”, it doesn’t matter. I would still be endangering my children to appease a psychotic troll.

The very wealth you were counting on will eat away your flesh like fire. This corroded treasure you have hoarded will testify against you on the day of judgment. 4 For listen! Hear the cries of the field workers whom you have cheated of their pay. The cries of those who harvest your fields have reached the ears of the Lord of Heaven’s Armies.

I also had short posisitions on Sherwin Williams, Johnson & Johnson, and Coca-Cola that cleared nicley and gained me some profit.
I also get to buy stocks cheaply now that the market is down.
So I have benefited three ways.
        1. I have found companies that have risen despite the market going down (GILD, SWHC)
        2. I have shorted stocks that were overvauled and went corrections (JNJ, SHW, KO, POM)
        3. I get to buy some stocks at a discount (DIS, MRK, AAPL)
I will keep everyone updated on how well DIS, MRK, and AAPL goes.

        3. I dont own physical silver or gold, I have ETF’s that track them. 4. Yes companies have laid off workers for dividends and stock buybacks but who cares. Those laid off workers probally had really good stock options anyway. And if they didn’t they were probally scum that was making the company unprofitable. 5. Um no. 6. Maybe I have caused the killings of people with my investments in Smith and Wesson stock investments that I gained 410% on and my investments in Lockheed Martin 200% on but again, who the cares. I really dont care if my investments in Smith and Wesson caused the deaths of 1 million people.

Good then….those of us who live in the real world won’t have to deal with the idiots who think like you do. Good deal.

          • James

            Gold has no instrisic value.
If SIPC and FDIC stop working, then you wont need gold.
You will need food, water, and guns.

        • VigilanteCaregiver

Shorting stocks is illegal – look it up.

          • James

            LOL.
If it was, brokerage firms would not have a short button in plain view.

          • James

It is not illegal in the United States

      • Mick J

Nice job…. But Silver and gold….they don’t corrode. But otherwise… Well said man!!!

    • BS1986

Leftist ideology is destroying America-when the time comes YOU and yours will be blamed for this, and suffer consequences.

      • Gay Veteran

        he’s Canadian, moron

        • BS1986

THEN why does he weigh in on our country? I still stand by liberals being blamed and suffering consequences……..

          • Will

The economic collapse will affect Canada no less than USA.

          • Gay Veteran

            psssssst:
            “liberals” = “conservatives”
            democrats = republicans

          • BS1986

            No they do not homo

          • Gay Veteran

you need to get a clue

          • BS1986

            You need to like women.

          • Gay Veteran

or maybe you need to like men

          • BS1986

No that’s abnormal. NORMAL Men like women.

          • Gay Veteran

sorry, you don’t get to dictate to nature

          • BS1986

What in nature says homosexuality is normal?

          • Gay Veteran

educate yourself, I’m not a teacher

          • BS1986

No I was waiting for you list the animals in the animal kingdom who practice homosexuality-then I was going to remind you the number of animals who eat their mates after intercourse THEN I was going to ask you is that ok?
THen I was going to tell you that you are a disgrace.

          • Gay Veteran

what mammals eat their mates after intercourse?
            disgrace? look into a mirror

          • BS1986

NO we said animal kingdom not just mammals.
            Black Widow Spiders
            Praying mantises eat their mates.
BUT if you want to go mammals How about we look at the ones who kill for sport HUH?
            Polar Bears
            Killer Wales
            Hyenas
Lions……..want me to keep going? Humans can kill for sport right? Since animals do it right?

          • Gay Veteran

you do know that chimps kill other chimps, right?

          • BS1986

Of course-since animals do it why shouldn’t it be legal?

          • Gay Veteran

try reading “On Liberty” by John Stuart Mill:
“…That the only purpose for which power can be rightfully exercised over any member of a civilized community, against his will, is to prevent harm to others….”

          • BS1986

BUT if animals do it-its ok right? Animals practice homosexuality so its ok for us to do it right? You know if animals do it……..

          • Gay Veteran

ok Einstein, please educate us on why homosexuality is unnatural. and better yet, why you should give a sh *t

          • BS1986

Cause its gross. A sign of rot in a society

          • Gay Veteran

            “Cause its gross….”

written like a 10 year old boy in mommy’s basement

you want a sign of rot in society? look all around you at people who support empire abroad and the national security/surveillance state at home

          • BS1986

And the rainbow colors on the white house, and homos getting married in a church. And the kids with their noses in their phones checking their Facebook every ten min-cause they think people give a crap what they think. AND the war our racist president is more than happy to keep going.
You are gross-sorry to burst your bubble.

          • Gay Veteran

awwwwww, you’re upset, maybe mommy will give you some milk and cookies

          • BS1986

Not upset just see the joke America has become. Im ready to secede from the fruitecake nation.

          • Gay Veteran

perhaps you should move to a country where there is like minded people…….try Saudi Arabia

          • BS1986

No praying to a carpet is ne bueno. BESIDES this is my country.

          • Gay Veteran

“No praying to a carpet is ne Bueno….”

btw, you picked a good name:

          • Gay Veteran

awwww, must be really sad for you to realize you’re losing

          • BS1986

Losing what? An internet argument? Winning an internet argument is alike like winning the special Olympics-yeah you won BUT you are still a retard.

          • Gay Veteran

            awwwwww, and a sore loser

          • BS1986

HAHA whats it like to know you are going to hell?

          • Gay Veteran

            wouldn’t know, you tell me

          • BS1986

Im not going to hell, Im a Christian. YOU however are a homo.

          • Gay Veteran

lots of gay Christians, maybe you shouldn’t judge
or maybe you have a street corner to pray loudly at

          • BS1986

I should judge the Bible is very clear about it, just because the NWO says its ok doesn’t mean it is.

          • Gay Veteran

ah yes, the Bible that is soooooo clear that southern slave owners couldn’t use it to justify slavery.

          • BS1986

Well maybe the slavers should have been unarmed.

          • Gay Veteran

seriously, is that the best you got?

            f-ing pathetic

          • BS1986

What more do you want? You do disgust me but why waste so much time telling you-youll still just as much a homo.

          • Gay Veteran

and you’re still a 10 year old moron in mommy’s basement insulting his betters

          • BS1986

Not ten Im almost 30, you seem angry that I called you gross cause you like penis-does that offend you?

” insulting his betters’-YOU are nowhere near my better you boot POS.

          • Gay Veteran

no, 10 year old trolls don’t make me angry or offend me, because why would I be mad at someone so pathetically ignorant?

          • BS1986

OH you are mad I called you gross……..HAHA OR you are made my poop just doesn’t fall out.

          • Gay Veteran

I see you can’t read, so let’s try this again:

no, 10 year old trolls don’t make me angry or offend me, because why would I be mad at someone so pathetically ignorant?

          • BS1986

Oh I can read I saw your attempt at an insult=I made you mad. Whats the matter your boyfriend not lube you up?

          • Gay Veteran

I see you STILL can’t read, so let’s try this again:

no, 10 year old trolls don’t make me angry or offend me, because why would I be mad at someone so pathetically ignorant?

          • BS1986

Its ok youll be able to poop normally soon……..

          • Gay Veteran

you seem fixated on poop, mommy didn’t toilet train you right?

          • BS1986

No I just find it hard to respect men who have sex with other men.

          • Gay Veteran

            ROFLOL, like I care

          • BS1986

When you are burning in hell you will.

          • Gay Veteran

you seem awful sure about my destination.
            maybe it is yours instead

          • BS1986

            NOPE.

          • LIZ THE SHIZ

but you really mean Jon Stewrart

          • Gay Veteran

now darling, HOW did you come up with that when the quote is from “On Liberty” by John Stuart Mill???

          • Mick J

Polar bears kill for sport? Your starting to sound as dumb as that queer vet.

          • BS1986

Polar beers have been know to stalk humans for fun-and attack them. Polar bears are one of the most dangerous predators in the world.

          • Mick J

The polar bear will make every effort to avoid humans. If a PB is ‘stalking’ you…it’s hungry. But fear not…Gay…leaves a very bad taste in their mouth.

          • BS1986

When I was living in their area they stalked several humans-didn’t really get to ask them if they were hungry.
            They are dangerous.

          • alan

Its a learned condition not genetic. Its passed down through families generation to generation of abuse. Somewhere there was an uncle bad touch that started it.

          • BS1986

            Maybe.

          • VigilanteCaregiver

            Prove it.

          • Gay Veteran

easily done, when it comes to empire abroad and the national security/surveillance state at home there is NO difference between democrats and republicans.
thought you would have figured that out by now

          • VigilanteCaregiver

That made no sense as a proof. Try again with citations and specifics.

          • Gay Veteran

are you paying attention to what is going on?
why is Obama (and Bush before him) allowed by the “opposition” party to do basically what he wants?

          • VigilanteCaregiver

You demand I provide proof. You do it for once.

          • Mick J

Your right about republicans and democrats being being equal nowadays…both are useless. However….the liberal conservative thing…your way off. Being conservative does not make you a republican. Not at all.

          • Gay Veteran

the 2 parties in DC are 2 sides of the same coin,
            so “liberals” = “conservatives”
            note the quotes

          • Mick J

The use of quotes…why. Geez…the more you post, the dumber you look.

          • Gay Veteran

heh, you’re a regular Einstein, eh

hey dumb a **, there are no conservatives or liberals in DC, only neo-conservatives and neo-liberals

          • Mick J

What’s with the sound effects…eh…heh…. Lol…. Huh? Neo-Gay… Why don’t you share with us your Vet status. What branch…years served….etc….etc. I’m betting your a Vet wanna be.

          • Gay Veteran

            I’m betting you’re a retard actual

          • Mick J

That’s what I thought. Your a phony. You never served. It’s now illegal to claim military service if not true. Liar….

          • Gay Veteran

awwww, little troll wants personal info but is silent about himself.
well here you go junior, I was an officer in the army (got there due to ROTC scholarship) in the mid/late 1980s, medical research.
is the troll satisfied? no, your type never is

          • Mick J

Silent…? No….you didn’t ask….and I never made any claims. However… USN Retired. Served on the USS Fulton AS-11 beginning in 1972, did several med cruises before being reassigned to other……etc…etc…etc. Honorably discharged after serving a number of years state side.
The fact that you are so blatant about your homosexuality is to me, an indication that something was/is abnormal. Any self respecting ‘officer’ doesn’t make a point of adding sexual preference to his military status. It’s so disrespectful, and an obvious character flaw.

          • Gay Veteran

            wow, project much junior?

          • Mick J

Huh? Wtf you trying to say now? Your like this annoying little knat buzzing around…no matter how hard you swat it away it just comes back for more. And it’s obvious your beginning to struggle with defense. You should just quit…and go give head.
            Lol…..yea, that’s a funny.

          • Gay Veteran

like I said, project much junior?

          • Gay Veteran

head? maybe you can get some from your pet goat wife

          • VigilanteCaregiver

SERIOUSLY?! What about being a nuclear power expert, patent lawyer, USDA employee in the middle of nowhere – now you studied medical research?!

We have debated for a long time, and I have posted up several things about human anatomy and biology that you couldn’t understand, much less refute – a med student in ROTC?!

And when I asked about your service, you said that’s not what veteran meant. You implied you were a veteran at being homosexual!

            What a liar!

          • Gay Veteran

wow, you really packed in the lies in your post:

“…What about being a nuclear power expert, patent lawyer, USDA employee in the middle of nowhere – now you studied medical research?!….”

Never said I was a nuclear power expert. Never said I was in the middle of nowhere, actually based outside DC in MD. And yes, I was in Army medical research (pathogenic bacteriology) before I went to law school.

            “…a med student in ROTC?!….”

Never said anything about being a med student.

“…And when I asked about your service, you said that’s not what veteran meant. You implied you were a veteran at being homosexual!….”

do mormons use peyote??? because you are out of your pathologically lying mind

          • John Byde

True. Our society’s problems are spiritual, not political. Voting won’t solve it.

          • VigilanteCaregiver

Surveillance state? Doesn’t matter to me. Learn to work with electronics – jammers are good fun.

          • Gay Veteran

figures, I point out the surveillance state we live in and instead of condemning the government you babble about electronics

          • Mick J

            You are ill….seek help.

          • Gay Veteran

you are stupid…..unfortunately no help for you

          • Syrin

Hey moron, you couldn’t be more wrong

            Liberal = state before individual
Conservative = individual before the state

            Republican=democrat=liberal

          • Gay Veteran

hey junior, there are no real conservatives or liberals in DC, only neo-conservatives and neo-liberals.

            get a f-ing clue

          • Gay Veteran

riiiiiight, just let all those banksters escape. brilliant

          • BS1986

The banksters are “liberals” too homo……..once you get up to the upper echelon of either political party they protect the banks. Even your beloved obozo protects the banks and wall street.

          • Gay Veteran

well junior, I hate Obama as much as I hate Bush.
but TPTB appreciate you playing the left/right game

          • BS1986

Junior, really? Why do you hate obozo he light up the white house in your favorite colors?
Oh bush is a pawn so is obozo-personally I hate obozo cause he loves muzzies and hates Vets

          • Gay Veteran

            Obama=Bush=Clinton

Obama loves Muslims? yeah, loves to bomb them

          • BS1986

NO he loves to invite them to the WHite House when they build clocks-a prelude to bomb building

          • Gay Veteran

            clocks? heh

“When Ahmed Mohamed went to his high school in Irving, Texas, Monday, he was so excited. A teenager with dreams of becoming an engineer, he wanted to show his teacher the digital clock he’d made from a pencil case.

The 14-year-old’s day ended not with praise, but punishment, after the school called police and he was arrested.

“I built a clock to impress my teacher but when I showed it to her, she thought it was a threat to her,” Ahmed told reporters Wednesday. “It was really sad that she took the wrong impression of it.”…”

          • BS1986

Yeah my joke was that he is bin laden Jr.
In the countries those people are from the kids kill just as easy as the adults

          • Gay Veteran

3 key words: In the countries

          • BS1986

WHO do you think we are letting in dummy

          • Gay Veteran

and WHY are we letting them in, dummy

got to keep the sheeple in constant fear, sheeple like you

          • BS1986

Im a Vet too and those hajis hate us. YOU know that your just to libtardish to admit it.
They are letting them in to attack us-create the problem-THEN GOVT provides the solution usually by trampling our rights and growing their monster a bit bigger.

          • Gay Veteran

gee, wonder why they hate us?
oh! I know, they hate us for our freedoms. Guess we don’t have to worry about that any more.

OR maybe they hate us because we prop up dictators in their countries, wage wars of aggression against their countries, murder civilians with drones, etc.

          • BS1986

Tis better to be feared than loved if one cannot have both-Antonio Machiavelli
I agree with that statement, I don’t want my enemies to like me I want them to fear me. After 9/11 the only response should have been the flatning of every village in Afghanistan nothing more, use chemical weapons, viruses whatever it takes to wipe out that civilization with a warning-ANYONE ELSE WHO TRIES GETS IT TOO-simple as that.
IRAQ-flatten bagdhad, Fallujah, najaf, tikirt and 10 other cities. Drop VX poison gas and sarin-with a warning-Next time we wipe you all the way out.
You can say what you want about dictators but between Assad and the muslim brother hood Im going with Assad.

          • Gay Veteran

“…After 9/11 the only response should have been the flatning of every village in Afghanistan nothing more, use chemical weapons, viruses whatever it takes to wipe out that civilization with a warning….”

awwww, born to late to join the SS, who definitely shared your values (see the Lidice massacre).

“…ANYONE ELSE WHO TRIES GETS IT TOO-simple as that.
IRAQ-flatten bagdhad, Fallujah, najaf, tikirt and 10 other cities. Drop VX poison gas and sarin-with a warning….”

hey Einstein, Iraq didn’t attack us, a bunch of Saudi Arabians did.

          • BS1986

Iraq was over currency. An even bigger statement should have been made.
Not the SS just tired of using AMerican lives to nation build-we flatten and kill like the plague then leave them to suffer.
Tis Better To Feared than Loved If One Cannot Be Both

          • Gay Veteran

payback is a bit ch, we found that out 9/11.
what do we need to do?
            (1) bring the troops home
            (2) seal the borders
            (3) rebuild America
            (4) NO foreign entanglements

          • BS1986

SOOOO you believe 9/11 was deserved?
What branch of service were you in?
Do you believe the dollar will remain supreme if we walk away? Do you enjoy buying things?

          • Gay Veteran

didn’t say 9/11 was “deserved”, but it should have been expected for our propping up of dictators in the region.

            Army.

            petrodollar? on its deathbed.
bring back tariffs and our jobs, restart making things in America

          • BS1986

NOPE 9/11 should have been expected because liberal president refuse to listen to the me on the ground and do whats needed. CIA operators in Africa warned Clinton of the threats of Bin Laden and Al Queda and he refused to let them be disposed of.

You an Army cook? What year?

Petrodollar-oh its dying BUT it is nowhere near how bad its going to get.

“bring back tariffs and our jobs, restart making things in America”-SURE and while we are at maybe Putin will pull out of Syria HEHE. It took 50+ years to do this to AMerica its going to take a lot longer to fix.

          • Gay Veteran

“NOPE 9/11 should have been expected because liberal president refuse to listen to the me on the ground and do whats needed….”

you mean the warnings that conservative George Dumba ** Bush ignored too?

“..You an Army cook? What year?….”

            heh, try medical research

Always remember that their is no atheist in fox holes. You will see the error of your thinking when you have no food and people start eating others. That’s what they did when the pilgrims came because they didn’t prepare for what’s coming. I guess you will be like the pilgrims that came here and didn’t think of storing food so when times get hard they would not have to do what they did.

Every sign is in place for fulfillment if it hasn’t been fulfilled already for the coming 7 year tribulation.Unless the Antichrist is about to make his appearance on the world stage and begin that 7 year period the real economic collapse will be during the 7 year trib as the 3rd seal of Revelation chapter 6, what is coming soon may only be a glimpse of what is to come. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and be saved (acts 16:31), spread the good news to as many who will listen while there is still yet time and be ready for what may come before the blessed hope comes. True believers and discerners of the times will be mocked and worse but any affliction endured down here is nothing compared to what awaits in all eternity.

Luke 12:56 Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?
1Cor 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

  • Hussanatu

Right on, Michael. The Lord is my light and my salvation. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the the stronghold of my life. Of whom shall I be afraid?

  • georgesilver

And there was me making sure I had plenty of food, gold and a defence system when I really needed non of this……….. just pray.
    Makes perfect logical sense.

    • Preacher62

No, not “just pray”. Live for him and he will give you whatever you need. Those who choose to live for themselves and by themselves, he allows them to do just that. Prayer without repentance and following Jesus availeth nothing, but the prayers of the righteous availeth much. Becoming one with the creator of all that is, is the only thing that does make perfect logical sense. God Bless

As a non-religious person, I long ago shed any doubts about my status here on earth and I live a contented life. But if Christianity (or whatever) helps you to come to terms with your destiny, then I have no reason to object or impede your decision.

  • Bob332

Mike, I never met you , but, I have been following this web site for quite some time. I have ALWAYS found you to be informative, but most of all honest in your writings. However , after reading this article, I, TRULY believe that your warnings WILL, unfortunately, come to fruition. I have “no skin” in the game i.e. Wall St. etc. etc, BUT, I believe, in my heart, for reasons unknown to me and your readers, you are giving us warnings that are truly inspirational. Our Lord sends us people, for good or bad to awaken our soul’s & conscience. You, in this specific article( whether reader’s believe in God or not) have performed that service. THANK YOU. As it was said” Thou, I walk in the valley of death, I will fear NO evil….etc” Money, fame, etc etc means NOTHING….it is ONLY your soul that matter’s. IT is the ONLY thing you take with you ….after this life on earth!

  • Martin

I have been an avid follower of this site for many years but until now I have not commented on its content. Far from being afraid of an economic collapse, I could almost say I am looking forward to it. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t wish suffering on anyone. I am just tired of this system reliant on growth and mindless consumption. Most of us are not in jobs where we can be truly creative. We only work to get a slice of production. There has to be a better way.

I realise the economic fundamentals are not good as Michael’s research indicates. However I do not see a crash happening until there is a significant contraction in the money supply. Until that happens all that funny money has to be invested somewhere and the only thing left that gives a return is stocks.

Unitl interest rates go up or banks stop lending I see no end to it save an orchestrated event.

  • Hg

I’m an atheist too. I don’t care about possessions. I live a simple life. I find it a bit rude/ignorant, that comment in particular. I’m respectful of Jesus believers. Respect my beliefs also. Not very Christian to call out someone else. I live a much cleaner lifestyle than most “Christians” I have met.

Humble yourself before God can work in you. Until you realize that you’re no better than a murderer or a child molester, you’ll continue to be lost.

  • lmarkievich

Started reading this site a couple years ago after something happened that worried me to my core. Here in Clevand they have free country concerts at a Quaker steak and lube and my little sister went early to save me and her husband seats at a little plastic table and chairs. Lots of white well off millennials swore at her and threw food at her since they wanted the chairs and table. She couldn’t go to the bathroom and the servers were too afraid of the people to help. First time my sister agreed with me that things could get very bad when the shtf. If this is how well raised people act when they want something frivolous how will they act when they are hungry?? I love michaels article and in glad he has no fear but I think a little bit of fear can help.

  • Dolf

Your question: “I have absolutely no idea how atheists are going to make it through what is coming.” Your answer: “Knowledge and preparation help to eliminate fear. If you understand what is happening, and you know why it is happening, and you have prepared for what is happening, it makes the challenges that are ahead of you easier to tackle.”

  • Katrina Survivor

Some people you simply cant help their minds are dark and depraved, pray the Father will give you wisdom to discern. We live in a rural wooded area, and I’ve thought about those that are able to work some for the food. That usually weeds them out pretty quick. Scripture says if a person won’t work neither shall they eat

    • GSOB

      That’s true.
The teaching was to address those professing Christians leaching off of the church’s charity, whom are able to work, should work…., for by using up limited resources, the poor believers were being not cared for.
This ethic is to be expected to honored and practiced in the Church as well as in the secular world.
To do otherwise is to commit ‘fraud’.
      God sees the heart.
Fraud in the church and in the secular world…..
I wonder who is behind the fraudulent practices?

  • Dolf

“They don’t understand why they are here”.
If a horse is born to serve man as a beats of burden, than in comparison, why is a zebra born? To serve as food, or to survive and breed again? The meaning of life is anything that allows life to continue to exist at all. Ones those needs were met without interruption, people will starts searching for meanings beyond just that – surrogate activities.

  • Dolf

“They don’t understand why history is unfolding the way that it is”
According to Martin Armstrong, “history only repeats because the passions of man never changed.” Men want to become weatlhy, for this is what women want in order to provide their children with a save and stable environment while growing up. Some men try to increase their attractiveness by taking on behalf of other men’s productivity. This starts to accumulate until these men are no longer able to be productive. The wealthy men lose their hosts and go down with everyone else.
“War only takes place either to achieve economic gain, or retribution for economic loss. Look well into the underlying economic trends and you will understand the future. – Martin Armstrong”

  • Dolf

“And they have absolutely no hope for the future beyond this life.”
I look at the future with great relieve. The world wasn’t heading towards a nice place when the economy was growing, and it has to get worse before it can get better. And as for after my life, I’ll take comfort in the fact that everything ends. “Everything passes. Joy. Pain. The moment of triumph; the sigh of despair. Nothing lasts forever – not even this. – Paul Stewart.”

  • Shelley

  • Mark Are Reynolds Ⓥ

Do you suppose the majority of our Founding Fathers had a fear of death and loosing their worldly possessions when they signed the Declaration of Independence? Well, with a bit of research it is easy to find that the MAJORITY of them including the guy who authored the Declaration were DEISTS, NOT Christians. They believed in a creator, as George Washington put it “the architect of the universe”. They did NOT believe in mans “revealed” religions. I find that the burden that Christianity put on me with all of the jots and tittles I was supposed to believe by “faith” were lifted when I became a Deist. When I realized the years of torture I had endured under, not so much Jesus, but the CHURCHES and Christians who wanted you to stand by this or that in “faith”. What do you really KNOW about anything in life except what you experience personally? I also found that as a Deist some of the writings of men who influenced me, such as the book The Power of Now by Eckart Tolle made so much sense. My fear is so far gone that people around me think I’m weird. I leave my life in the hand of the Creator of this creation that I’m a part of and I don’t need any superstitions to add to that. I really would like to see what kind of world that we build out of the mess that the international bankers and the psychos have given us. Get those two groups out of the equation and we will have the Kingdom that so many of the Christians believe in. With a simple understanding of the non aggression principle humanity will do just fine.

    • SunnyFlaSnotress

This sites needs and economic collapse thread and a religious thread. That way some of us can read about economic ideas, thoughts and discussion as the name of the site name suggests. I scroll down and its post after post of stuff I have no idea what anyone is talking about, nothing to do with economics or money, gold, prepping etc. Just a suggestion.

There is a religious thread, but it’s normally on Michael’s other blog. I agree we should stick to economic discussion and leave personal belief systems out of it. Just my 666 cents :)

Lots of “what ifs” on this board. One thing we should do is prepare if we are able. If someone has enough for six months and others in our locale have next to nothing then the mob will get what we have, one way or the other. Make reasonable preparations, say a month of necessities or so, and then trust God for the details and the what ifs. There are millions of elderly, infirm, poor folks who cannot gather/store. The Lord may lead us to help them. We must remember this world is not our home, no matter what. We are all going to leave it one day. There are worst ways to die than starving…

    • SunnyFlaSnotress

      This board has forgotten
Matthew 6:25-34 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?

  • Michael I hope you are not in the city.
As cities will become death traps if it hits the fan hard and fast, you may not have time to get out, if that is the case.
You or anyone else for that matter need to find a place in the country, or find a relative who just happens to live in the country and will put you and your family up when things get bad.
Now is the time to tie up all your lose ends, get your final preps and pray about an hour or more every single night and when you have a meal remember to say Grace, think to remember God, because when the time comes YOU will NOT want him to NOT KNOW YOU…
Thank you for all you do Michael

    • SunnyFlaSnotress

I’m moving to the city :)

  • chilller

I know of people who scoff at preppers with the admitted intention that if times get tough…they will simply go take what they need from them. There’s nothing wrong with helping the needy…but how you go about it may be the difference between life and death.
As a part of our prepping, we consider different scenarios that may arise, the best way to deal with them and place them into our situational survival guide. Waiting until something bad happens and trying to consider what to do while under stress is not good and can very well lead to poor decisions as blood pressure and heart rates rise and adrenaline pumps into the bloodstream. This physiological reaction disrupts the ability to make rational decisions. So just like the starving little boy who might shows up at your door asking for food, make sure you have organized a plan to accommodate him and not just open your door. You may find his entire, large family who sent him to your doorstep coming out of the woodwork…
So while prepping to fend off starvation, prep to fend off situations ahead of time so you don’t get blindsided by them either.

It’s funny how the people who are most obsessed with homosexuality are the very ones who turn out to be one in the end!

          • Nemnor

mmm…?? Is this a statement of fact? Would you also say those Christians that are “obsessed” with (i.e. against) Satan (the Devil) are the very ones who turn out to be Devil Worshipers in the end?

          • fwalker15

Obviously you suffer from flawed logic issues. Maybe this simple phrase helps clarify: throw a stone into a pack of dogs, the one that barks was hit. Keep barking.

          • Nemnor

fwalker15, I already conclude that you are NOT a true “intellectual”, like I already conclude you are NOT a successful “investor”/”gambler” in the stock market. You should already KNOW that ‘df NJ’ can NOT actually know that what he stated is indeed a fact. Because that would mean HE (‘df NJ’) must personally KNOW first-hand the public and secret lives of at least HALF of ALL the people in the World that are obsessed with ‘homos’.

‘df NJ’ simple made a (idle) statement that he does not and can not personally KNOW to be true. ( lol )

          • SunnyFlaSnotress

“It’s funny how the people who are most obsessed with homosexuality are the very ones who turn out to be one in the end!”
You know, way, way, long ago, back in the days when I took up counseling, that issue was discussed, and oddly enough it wasn’t terribly long until a fellow with that kind of mentality turned around and came out to me, and we discussed the issue. I still believe it was sincere living proof. Unfortunately though, it was before the days of AIDs, and I’m still a little sorry that perhaps I helped “set him free”.

          • Nemnor

SunnyFlaSnotress, I would not doubt that you would meet SOME people throughout your life who are obsessed with something – and then turned out to be involved in the same thing they were SEEMINGLY against.

However, I posit that MOST people who are “obsessed” with ‘homos’, are indeed against this practice – as they really do see this as “unnatural’ (i.e. NOT what nature generally intended).

Additionally, I posit that those who put out this (fake) logic about the obsessed person (usually) ending up being the very thing they are against, are likely ‘homos’ or sympathizers of ‘homos’, putting out this FALSE “facts” as part of their ammunition against those who are against ‘homos’.

As for my personal view on ‘homos’, I told my Children that it is USUALLY best and safest to keep to what is generally (commonly) occurring in nature. In this case, it is the general/common thing for a Human Being to be sexually attracted and aroused by the opposite sex.

          • SunnyFlaSnotress

Oddly enough, I don’t think homosexuality/bisexuality is out of nature.
A while ago, in my later years, when I started befriending stray cats, I was surprised to see male cats trying to get it on with eachother. Mind you the aggressor cat seemed more interested than the others, but it just goes to show..

          • Nemnor

SunnyFlaSnotress, well, my KEY point and focus is what generally and commonly occurring with Human Beings in nature.

The general/common behavior with Human Beings in nature is that we are sexually attracted to the opposite sex. And, not forgetting that this is the ONLY way nature intends for us to make Children, and that (seemingly) the primary reason nature causes the sexual attraction of opposite sex is to help ensure the survival of the Human Race.

Generally, Nature knows best, so I suggest to my Children that it is best (and safest) to keep to what is common in nature.

          • Gay Veteran

The purpose of marriage b/t a man and a woman is to sanctify the process in building God’s dwelling place, protecting and producing earthen vessels to contain the ‘treasure’ within, unto the praise of the glory of His grace..
            AMEN.
Satan wants to destroy that purpose altogether. If he can’t do that, He will remanufacture God’s marriage design by changing the institute for Adam & Steve and Mary & Sue.

I’ll take it a step further- this collapse is something we have been looking forward to. I say that because this economic system is is so oppressive and unfair and once it’s gone maybe we can experience life as it is supposed to be. Right now, no one can live to the fullest because we are all too busy trying to survive.

    • Nemnor

      Kim, I agree with you!!!

      • Kim

Thanks. That said, the author is right when he says the transition won’t be seemless. And that’s putting it mildly. It’s not called “great tribulation” for nothing. The only place I differ in opinion is giving equal (not sure if he’s saying that) attention to physical and mental preparation as to spiritual. I believe when it gets really tough, and it will, we are going to have to rely completely on divine providence.

        • fwalker15

A collapse is something you’ve been looking forward to? If you’re not physically nor mentally able to thrive rather than barely survive in the current sugar coated environment where every imaginable resource is readily available then it seems very unlikely that a collapse will contribute to your success or lack thereof.

          • Nemnor

The way I understand ‘Kim’ is that he is looking forward to a collapse, more or less in the way you would want to see a rotten egg put into the garbage.

Because you KNOW there is no ‘fixing” that rotten egg – it will only get worse (and stink even more), so you really looking forward to seeing that rotten egg (put) into the garbage. (right?)

Looking at the past 3 or 4 decades of decadent and decaying US Capitalism, it is indeed like a rotten egg that can not be fixed – and will continue to “stink” even more!!

The economy always stinks for the uneducated and the lazy. No system will save them from themselves. The notion of productive societies rewarding your failures is a demented delusion on par with the supernatural force that will facilitate that imminently.

          • Nemnor

Nevertheless, ‘Kim’ is looking forward to a collapse, more or less in the way you would want to see a rotten egg be put into the garbage. And, Capitalism IS indeed an irreparable rotten and decaying economic system.

          • fwalker15

Obviously you’re projecting your own personal failures and attempting to blame “the system” at some point you must accept responsibility for your failures in an environment where so many are productive and benefiting. Then again you can continue to delude yourself that an imminent supernatural event will collapse the rotten succeful humans and their civilizations.

          Scott Comin, thank you!

I believe that most of the detractors and pretenders, who post in “defense” of Capitalism, are simply in a state of denial. That many of them KNOW that Capitalism is indeed decadent and decaying and that the World needs a fundamental change away from this current economic system, but simply WISH that it was not so.

          • GSOB

The idea that people are entitled to the fruits of their labor, together with property rights and the rule of law –
that laid a pure foundation for capitalism and the tremendous economic success that America has enjoyed.
It is an inherent truth of capitalism that in the long run, people succeed in business if they provide services and goods that people want.
Capitalism has its roots in Christianity.
Bottom feeders, low info parasites as yourself…..are addicted to handouts.
The solution is public emphasis on biblical ethics.
You don’t want to know nothing about that. Hence… low life = no life.

  • Nemnor

Michael, thank you for much of the information you published in this blog.

Now, I also believe that prayer, faith and hope can somehow help to bring about the change the World need, when backed with right and effective actions.

God helps those who take the right actions to help themselves, and I posit that the ONLY “right” and effective action to begin the change the World NEEDS, is to dismantle Capitalism and build a new sustainable system – NOT based on production for profits.

You see, like Slavery and Feudalism that precedes it, Capitalism is a socioeconomic system based upon the exploitation of man by man and country by country. There can NEVER be genuine peace, equal rights and justice, in ANY economic system that is based upon the exploitation of man by man, as war and strife is INHERENT in such a system.

Ultimately, the destiny of the World under Capitalism is total socioeconomic collapse/chaos and/or WW-III. And, as the true history of Capitalism has shown with WW-I and WW-II, NO amount of prayer, faith and hope can avoid total collapse/chaos and/or WW-III, except if we also take effective actions to do away with Capitalism.

    • fwalker15

Obviously you’ve failed miserably over the course of your lifetime. Your delusions of what is inherent in the world and what is needed and what can never be are obviously projections of your inherent progressive mental health issues.

      • Nemnor

Capitalism is inseparable from war and strife because the Capitalists MUST exploit the labor/efforts of others in order to make a “profits”.

Likewise, one country (or one set of countries) must dominate and exploit many other countries in order to “rise” above. In other words, Capitalism NATURALLY (and inevitably) gravitate to Imperialist Capitalism to rape and exploit the resources of other countries. Imperialist Capitalism was the underlying force that brought about WW-I and WW-II.

Eventually, total collapse/chaos and/or WW-III is the SURE destiny of the World, IF we do not dismantle Capitalism and replace it with a sustainable system – NOT based on production for profits.

When Christians die, it is conveyed in scripture that they sleep…..

Jesus Christ died to make sinners sons of God. So when I ‘die’, it is for me not a punishment as it is for you, but a transition to another world where He is even more dear to me.

Ask the Lord for faith and forgiveness. Ask Him for mercy and grace. Seek Him for this rich grace prepared in Christ Jesus.

The Darwinian Evolutionary process of natural selection and mutation over long periods of time was debunked many decades ago.

The theory cannot account for the highly precise genetic codes and (for a lack of a better word) nano-machinery that manage the body. We also have a fossil record that cannot account for the extraordinary number of transitional species that Darwin’s claims requires: simply saying that 4 animals in a horse transition that look alike is a proof, is really just an exercise in plausibly – not a proof.

There is and never has been any workable lab experiments to provide evidence, nor mathematical equations, or even proven physics that clearly explain how non-biological chemicals can become living systems – much less how everything came to being out of literally nothing. Even simple math proves that the numerous morphological changes necessary to change one animal into another takes longer than physicists and geologists claim the earth has existed. All experiments on the mutation aspect only shows damage to the cells – no new information can be created this way.

There are numerous fraudulent proofs and faked evidence used to support Darwinian and Neo-Darwinian claims: Piltdown Man (outrageous fake made by filing and dyeing primate bones to closely resemble human), Java Man (recently died human bones), Nebraska Man (revealed as pig teeth), Orce Man (donkey bones), Lucy (proven a specie of extinct primate arranged to look human), the Yale DNA Hybridization Scandal (proven fraudulent: the data was intentionally manipulated; other tests proved we have a distance in genetics between us and primates); Haekel’s Embryo drawings (Haekel faked his numbers and actual embryos look very different from his drawings – attempted revival by Dr. Kenneth Miller in the 1990’s), Archaeoraptor Liaoningensis (hybrid animal proven a fraud; made from several separate animals and called a proof). And so on.

Richard Dawkins put it best during a pro-evolution rally that Darwinian beliefs are a new religion. Historically it’s called Materialist Scientism – and that’s the best name I’ll use. To call this serious science is nonsense.

And finally, my own personal argument: where are my blueprints? When a Theorist works on an idea, they create this idea with some underlying sense of functionality; when it doesn’t work, it’s abandoned – when it does, it goes to the next step. The Researcher takes that theory and works with the Theorist to hammer out equations and experiments. If the experiments prove repeatable and functional, it goes on to the next step. The Engineer then works with the experimental data and mathematics to create a functioning model and blueprints. When these are finally approved for production, it goes to the final step. The Technician (me) then takes the blueprints and makes a series of exact product. If the product is not cost effective or time consuming, I work with the Engineer to simplify the blueprints. After the product is made it’s sales and marketing’s problem. I have never seen anything from Darwinian Evolution that can lead through this progression to a product. Without a product – there is no proof. Simply stating that “Whatever survives survives” or “Change over time” is not a theory that results in math or physic equations. The only products that come of this so-called theory (religion) is books and cocktail parties. Nothing else of value. And what’s worse: my tax dollars subsidize this religion. We have a 1st Amendment that’s supposed to prevent that.

      • paul

You have written many words and proved nothing. There are billions of
examples of evidence for natural evolution and the only person you are
kidding is yourself. You will live and die in denial. I would much just
prefer to detach religion and economics as this type of blog is doing
nothing for Michaels reputation. The above article is poor with trying
to bring unsound religious beliefs and economics. A reputation that has
been built on fact can be destroyed on fiction. Paul from the UK

        • VigilanteCaregiver

I have proved plenty. You know, getting angry and posting words you hope will wound is a giveaway that you have no counterargument. There are not millions of proofs to Darwin’s ideas; it’s thoroughly debunked as serious science; now it’s just a religious ideology paid for by my tax dollars. A complete violation of the 1st Amendment.

If you don’t like what’s posted here, then either deal with it, or go find like minded folks. If you’re here to feed your hatred and such – not my problem.

It is the leadership of the county which would have to repent and turn to God first. The head of a nation, being it King, President, Congress, or even dictator, is what God looks at as far as a nation is concerned. Our current leadership is far, far from the God of the Bible and have turned to other gods. There may still be individual salvation of people around this country, but as far the country being returned to the great country it once was and a leader in the world, I think not. It has had it’s time in the sun, and is now fading into the darkness of history past. Being born again by faith through Christ Jesus, is the only hope you have if you are alive today.

The Good Lord gave me a sign to prepare and stock food…are we just to give our food to the unbeliever? If we do then are just feeding those who would do us harm.

The Food I have stocked will be for my brethren. Our first mission in Christ is to preach the Gospel no matter what is going on in this old world. I love all, but I also know there are those who will bring harm to my door.

It is wise to be prudent with what the good Lord has given us and that doesn’t mean give it just anyone. I know this may sound harsh, but if you give to the unbelievers then they are strengthened to do you harm.

My take is this from The Book of Proverbs…

3 A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.

I say hunker down and if a brother or sister in Christ is in need then the good Lord will send them my way and then I will help them.

Peace to all and may God Bless those who are in His will.

I don’t think there is going to be a collapse. In fact those who are living in the present are some of the most fortunate individuals in world history. We have so many creature comforts, economic backstops and entertainment venues the rest of the world never had.

I’m not saying the world is a perfect place, far from it. But things like technology, medicine and agriculture have advanced so much that our lives are extremely comfortable.

    • fwalker15

That’s heresy around this forum and just moments before the supernatural collapse of civilizations. Surely that must be a sign!!!

Hopefully some day bitcoin will replace money and the world we will see a return to a fair trade. A fair trade as opposed to the ones we have now ripping everyone off with a hidden tax making everyone’s efforts in vain. The Fed is so un-Constitutional. The money changers have destroyed our world for too too long.

    • Nemnor

Some of what you stated is true indeed. However, the Capitalist economic system had it’s days in the sun, and it is now more of a HINDRANCE to genuine Human advancements.

At this point, production for “profits” can NO longer carry the Human race into the (distant) future with TRUE abundance for ALL, and instead, Capitalism will eventually being the perishment of the Human race – through (World) wars, environmental collapse and economic collapse .

      • fwalker15

True abundance is certainly available to all that educate and apply themselves. Your foolish notions of blaming everyone and everything other than yourself are ludicrous.

        • Nemnor

fwalker15, you do not understand the true nature of the Capitalist economic system. True abundance is NOT available to ALL that (genuinely) apply themselves, this is simply a FANTASY in your head.

The system is so arranged/designed that, in general, MANY must FAIL (irrespective of talent, abilities and the hard work put in – and even with doing 2 or 3 jobs) so that a FEW MIGHT “win”.

This is the ONLY way Capitalism can exist. Just like you have a G7/8 riding the backs of the rest of the World, the moment too many countries try to be part of that G7/8 (or even replace them) or #2 or #3 try to replace #1, then you likely have the next World War. This IS the true nature of Capitalism – true abundance will not and can not be allowed or attained by ALL who (genuinely) apply themselves.

      • FortuneSeek3rz

The major economies of the world have an increasingly diluted capitalist structure in favor of more socialism (higher taxes, increased welfare and benefits spending) yet that hasn’t curbed much discussion of a global collapse despite the aim of these systems to provide safety and security for its participants. While capitalism trends lower and socialism trends higher, the world economy continues to slow to a crawl despite all time low interest rates and all time high government spending.

The most important variable in a stable and predictable economy is the moral character of the participants.

        • Nemnor

FortuneSeek3rz, you stated – …While capitalism trends lower and socialism trends higher, the world economy continues to slow to a crawl…“. What you stated is pure nonsense.

IF what you stated was true, then why the World is not simply going back to “more Capitalism” and get the World’s economy moving again?

You have it all wrong, there is NO “more Capitalism” to go back to, because what you refer to as “more socialism” is NOT genuine “socialism”. The economies are still FUNDAMENTALLY Capitalist.

You are looking at Capitalism attempting various socioeconomic REFORMS (but which you refer to as “more socialism”) in a VAIN attempt to “save Capitalism”. The “reforms” (which you call “more socialism”) are part of the strategy to prevent (mass) “revolutions” – because Capitalism is indeed FAILING.

I am doom and gloom about the doom and gloom. Everytime someone predicts the end of the World it just keeps going regardless. The economy is not going to collapse as long as people are still willing to go to work. People will continue to buy groceries regardless of the costs. Do you really think the people at the absolute highest levels of power are doing to do ANYTHING that would jeapodized their positions of power? Absolutely not. We will see $5/barrel oil and $1.00 per gallon gasoline before the people in power give up.

    • Wizard of Oz

About 20% of Americans are willing to go to work but have no job. And that’s in our “recovery” economy pushed along by trillions in stimulus spending. How long can we print/spend money we don’t have in order to prevent the collapse?

Peter Schiff was laughed at in 2006 for saying that a major collapse in housing/stocks was going to happen. It happened.

Go to youtube and type in:

      • fwalker15

The same gentleman that has been predicting a stock market collapse since the 2009 lows only to see the djia nearly triple over that period? The same gentleman that has been forecasting gold to more than double since $1900 per ounce only to see that price decline by nearly one half? The gentleman that has continuously insisted the bond and credit markets imminent collapses on to see bonds soar for years? Did the genius actually get one right forecasting a “hiusing stock collapse” two years before the complete financial calamity caused by financial institutions being decimated by China throughout the derivatives markets. It may fit well into vitamin canned foods and bottled water sales however the notion. that homeowners caused the 08 meltdown is media created spin at best. Not many that I know bought homes from Bear Sterns, Lehman Brothers, Morgan Stanley or AIG. That CDO and “toxic derivatives fallout sure was not caused by residential real estate homeowners caught recklessly speculating to the tune of one quadrillion plus dollars in everything from energy to commodities to foreign currencies to credit spreads. The sheeple sure believe anything the media feeds them …time to eat a few vitamins canned foods and some refreshing bottled water and wait for today’s forecasted collapses.

Peter has said that you have to be willing to be wrong before you are right. He says he was saying “don’t buy a home” for a few years before the collapse and his friends laughed at him for renting.
BUT, let’s say you are right, he’s an idiot. What are your investment recommendations? I’d like to know. I need to make some $$ and yes, I know, your recommendations may not be the best for me at all, so I’ll do my own due diligence.

    • Agnostic

Can´t you read? Michael isn´t a doom and gloom type, on the contrary.

“People will continue to buy groceries regardless of the COSTs.”

Even when they can no longer afford it? Like in 1992 Los Angeles, New Orleans 10 years ago and Ferguson last year?

“ANYTHING that would jeapodized their positions of Power?”

Purge of the US military, militarization of the police forces, deployement of drones on US soil.
So yeah, they intend to use the economic collapse to increase their power, kick it into 12 gears.
Only a new 1776, a limited nuclear conflict or the divine intervention Michael expects can depose them from power.

There are those who do NOT understand the true nature of the Capitalist economic system. True abundance is NOT available to ALL that (genuinely) apply themselves. This is simply a FANTASY in your heads of those who think they know Capitalism – which is a socioeconomic system based upon the exploitation of man by man and country by country.

IF too many people have TRUE abundance, then there would NOT be enough people (i.e. “paycheck to paycheck” Workers) left for the (relatively FEW) Capitalists to EXPLOIT. Hence, the capitalist system is so arranged/designed such that, in general, MANY must FAIL (irrespective of talent, abilities and the hard work put in – and even with some doing 2 or 3 jobs) so that a FEW might “win”. Just like with a barrel of crabs – those that climb to the top can do so ONLY by stepping upon MANY other “crabs” that MUST remain at the bottom in order for the FEW at the top (“the 1%”) to maintain their position. (right?)

However, the NORMAL Human Being NATURALLY wants TRUE abundance. And since Capitalism, by design and by structure, can NOT allow true abundance for ALL, and in fact, must keep the vast majority of the people at a SUB-STANDARD level of existence, it should be obvious that Capitalism can NOT and would NOT be the system to carry the Human Race into the (distant) future. (right?)

    • Jackn3

If this is true, then any sane person would use his talents and advantages to game the system. My friends and I have been pretty much able to do this.

      • Nemnor

What I stated about Capitalism NOT being capable of letting/allowing TRUE abundance for ALL – is definitely true.

However, I already conclude that you are a pretender, and you are NOT the successful “investor”/”gambler” you said or imply that you are – as you simply would not be spending so much time in this blog. ( lol )

“My relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ gives my life meaning and purpose.”
Good for you. There are at least a dozen other major religions in the world and their followers also receive meaning and purpose. Just different from yours Mike.

And there are hundreds of million of non-religion people in the world. Atheists do not worship any god (but does not necessarily mean they don’t think god, however it is defined, exist). But nevertheless they too find meaning, purpose and happiness. Religion is not the only source of such things you know. In fact, modern human beings which arrived on the scene some 200,000 years ago, and spread worldwide by some 15,000 years ago, clearly has prospered mightily during their 195,000 years of existence without the need for any god or religion.

History records that Jesus Christ (a real person) spent his short adult life fighting the Roman Empire occupation of Palestine. He was not the only one – thousands other fought with weapons and were summarily executed. Jesus fought with a different strategy – with an idea. He claimed he was son of god (a claim of being god of course brings immediate arrest and death because only the Roman Emperor is god). He gathered followers, performed all kinds of fantastic ‘miracles’ to demonstrate his godly powers, and was successful for a time. But one can only go so far being an insurgent, peaceful or violent. Finally he too was arrested and executed just like all others. I am writing this to remind you and others that Jesus Christ himself was born to fight a war of occupation and economic subjugation. Born in times of extreme violence. He never founded a religion. That was done by his followers decades and centuries later. Roman Empire itself converted to Christianity as state religion only during its era of bloody civil war in the 3rd century as it collapsed from decay. Christianity never saved the Empire as its Emperor hoped. And after the Empire, Europe enter 400 years of Dark Age where all sense of civility was lost, wars were continuous. Christianity did no good either.

You know, China have existed for 5000 years without any western religion. It has its own mixture of semi-religion and philosophy. Highly sophisticated and practiced by 99% of its 1.4 billion people. It works very well for them. They don’t need Christianity or any other religion to give them meaning, purpose, morality.

I am writing this to remind all some stark history, that Christianity itself came about from extreme violence, the only major world religion to have done so. That worshiping one religion gives complete tunnel vision to it, and blindness to everything else.

Well looks like your false prophet now wants to tell the truth that you were duped into buying ridiculous books and videos and DVDs vitamins, iodine tabs, canned foods, bottled water and whatever other ludicrous products he was able to capitalize on as a result of the supernatural hoax that was to collapse civilians today. Alas, have no fear as he now states. Your fearless leader will now conjure up a revised marketing scheme along with the latest and greatest notions of the next horrific event that you must “prep” for…starting immediately. Meanwhile he was right about those “big up and down” moves in the stock market. After years of stock market gains that propelled the key indicies up better than 200% (plus accrued dividends and distributions) the long over due 10% correction appears to have run its course and the djia not only had its best week in years but over the last four weeks is now roughly 1000 points above its low inflection point- with zero economic advantage whatsoever to those following the advice of the man who suddenly found nothing to fear on the eve of his continuously touted collapse of civilizations. Well done. Was there any warranty or return policy on those bogus warning DVDs or books in light of the recent have no fear confession.

    • Nemnor

fwalker15, I do not remember reading any article of Michael stating that there would be a collapse at any specific time/date.

Nevertheless, for the past 3 or 4 decades, the decadent and decaying world-wide Capitalist economic system is indeed facing an ongoing crisis, and Capitalism is on a general decline towards total socioeconomic collapse/chaos and/or WW-III.

You may or may not live long enough to see the total collapse and/or WW-III, but looking at the true history of Capitalism and the main underlying force that brought about WW-I and WW-II, the destiny of the World under Capitalism is SURELY total socioeconomic collapse/chaos and/or WW-III (eventually).

      • fwalker15

Sorry that your world has been decadent and decaying for the last 30 to 40 years. For the rest of the the world the advances in digital technology, medical technology, biotechnology along with countless other advances and achievements make you comments ludicrous yet great for laughs. As for your myopic notions of historic wars and economics perhaps some formal education may correct the flawed logic and conclusions. Then again you can continue along in your insanity with the belief that some day somehow you notion of eventually will be correct the system will collapse ww3 will arrive at your bunker and you will fend off those capitalist invaders and defend your garden and endless supplies. ROFL

        • Nemnor

As the REAL history of the World for the past 100 years or so indicates, it is only a matter of time (IF you live long enough) and Capitalism will eventually decay into total collapse/chaos and/or WW-III.

You are confusing scientific and technological advances (that are ALWAYS taking place at varying degrees, even during Slavery and Feudalism, but did not prevent these systems from becoming decadent and did not prevent the fall of previous empires). In fact, the advances in science and technology are the very things that helped (quickly) bring Capitalism to a stage of general over-production.
You also have to look at IF there is also genuine social progress along with all that scientific and technological advances. I am seeing the likes of Microsoft and Apple generally making more and more “profits” every year, while 32,000 people (mostly Children) are DYING EVERY DAY from hunger, malnutrition, preventable diseases and wars, and while the middle-class in virtually EVERY country in the World is SHRINKING!

Over-production is the “straw” that is SURELY breaking the Camel’s (Capitalism’s) back. Hence, the reason the system is NOT able to generate long-term recovery for the past 3 or 4 decades. The system can NOT use economic means alone to solve this issue of over-production, as only massive destruction of Capital (i.e. the means of production) can do that – within Capitalism. AND, only massive natural disasters and/or WW-III can provide the massive destruction Capitalism needs to “reset” it’s DECADENT self. ( lol )

      Matthew 6:10

To be in this world but not of this world is pointing to our citizenry status, as to it’s source,…. of our being ‘born again” not of corrupt seed but incorruptible seed.

Christians are a new creation and it is this world that we are commanded to evangelize.
Gods word has given us everything we need for every good work.

All of God’s work in redemption from start to finish, takes place in this ‘world’, though He is not of this world…. we are, as to our natural man.

The new man, in which we are created into, out of His mercy and love, is not of this world but will continue to increase, transforming every part of the world – all by Jesus Christ Himself working in us by His sovereignty and grace.

Everything is ours, but we are Christ’s and Christ is God’s. The field is the world, ready for harvest.
The Word of God is living and operative and sharper than any two edged sword…….

        • beavis

LOL I love it. Funny how when the predicted date comes and goes you hear nary a peep from said predictor.

BTW a friend of a friend who is involved in some covert stuff said that the world will end on November 6, 2015. That the elites are prepping for it and have been for the past year or so and now have only a little bit of time to finish getting ready.

If you are chosen to survive you should be hearing from them soon as to location of safe house and date to arrive.

Please start the countdown for me :-)

          • Beavis has issued an end of the world for November 6, 2015 from a friend.
            8 weeks until that date.

Let’s do a countdown until November 6, 2015 to see if Beavis’s friend is right.

          • The day after tomorrow

            Lol!

      • Janae

How do you know it will happen on Friday? Will the decision to split Israel be made on Thursday?

        • Cocopuffs

No. The earthquake will be a warning to preceded the decision.

  • Jean

The Shemitah is actually October 13th not September 13th.
The Jewish calendar was not in existence when Christ walked this earth. It didn’t come into existence until at the least 200 years later. This year has a 13th month. Therefore no postponements, no inconvenient days etc. God’s calendar self corrects. He doesn’t need human beings messing around with it.

  • toktomi

“Personally, I have absolutely no idea how atheists are going to make it through what is coming. They don’t understand… …”

    Those are interesting thoughts.

A lack of understanding of the plight of atheists sounds rather normal to me. But to state emphatically what atheists do not understand is a bit of reach, I would offer.

As someone who harbors no belief in any thus far defined gods, perhaps, I can add a bit of insight.

To possess a robust cognitive story of the essence of life, death, and world events requires no theism and indeed thrives in the absence of theism.

Grappling with the belief in the impending total collapse of industrial human society and the consequent human dieoff is not a religious issue despite anyone’s lack of understanding of the ability of others to comprehend and to deal with the possibility.

I would offer a couple of thoughts.

First, to deny the pure randomness of the Universe is to deny the greatest miracle of all. It might be a second rate thought process to ascribe all of the Universe to divine design.

Second, it is physically impossible for humans to “know” anything for certain. Consequently, virtually everything is worthy of consideration and virtually nothing is worthy of believing. Maybe unlocks the mind and the soul to the greatest possibilities that the Universe has to offer.

    or maybe not…
    ~toktomi~

    • Nemnor

toktomi, I am in agreement with much of your post (above). However when you stated – “…to deny the pure randomness of the Universe is to deny the greatest miracle of all…”, are you saying or implying that you KNOW that the Universe came about through pure randomness? OR, did you intend to say that the Universe PROBABLY came about through pure randomness (and hence, some could be denying the greatest miracle of all)?

My personal conclusion is that – “energy” (matter), “consciousness” (and including intelligent awareness), “space” and “time” have ALWAYS existed. That ALL four make up the very “fabric” of EXISTANCE, and there was never a beginning (or end) of existence.

Hence the pure randomness (and/or what might SEEM like pure randomness) that occurred with “energy” (matter), are actually a “tool” of the same “consciousness” that has ALWAYS existed (everywhere) along with “energy”/matter (in time and space).

Additionally, one of my conjectures is that (individual) “intelligent awareness” is always birthing (and then growing/evolving) from that (mass) “consciousness” that is ALWAYS part of existence. Hence, there can (and would) indeed be advanced beings, so far advanced (even beyond our imagination), that for all intent and purpose, they would be like “Gods” to us. However, except for (mass) “consciousness” (which is part of existence itself), it seems impractical for any (individual) “intelligent being” to be everywhere, know everything and be all powerful (i.e. omnipotent). AND, it makes sense that there can be no such being, as “intelligent life” has meaning ONLY if there is some purpose to “work” towards – only if there is learning and growing/evolving/changing.

      • Nemnor

Existence is ALWAYS evolving/changing/growing. Hence, there is ALWAYS more to know to learn to see to “work” towards. And that is why no individual “intelligent awareness” can ever know all, see all, be everywhere, or be (absolutely) all powerful (i.e. omnipotent). This status is probably reserved for the whole of existence itself – which includes mass “consciousness”.

There are those who refer to “the whole of existence” as “God” or “Mother Nature”, but this is not exactly the same notion as the “God of the Bible” – who/which is perceived as an INDIVIDUAL “Intelligent Being”.

I posit that, irrespective of what one thinks of the Bible, the “God” mentioned in the Bible could only be an (very much) advanced (alien) Being – subject to “mistakes and errors” and even “human-like” behavior, as the Bible itself indicates. It is not too far-fetched to imagine that the Human Race was put here by an advanced (alien) Being, or race of advanced (alien) Beings – who are here (secretly) watching us, or would come back some day to see what is happening with their creation.

  • JailBanksters

A collapse of the economies would be a good thing as long as:
    1. You don’t need to work
    2. You don’t have any outstanding debts, mortgages, credit cards

The bad bit is, no matter how bad it gets, the elite will still be the elite, the rich will still be rich, and you will be poorer. Banks might fail, but the rich will just create another Bank, because there will still be people with a need to buy what they can’t afford. And when the Shemitah hits the Fan, you can always bank on more money created out of thin air with paper that doesn’ exist to buy more junk you don’t really need.

What could possibly be wrong. After forecasting a supernatural derived collapse of financial markets and civilizations only to watch the financial markets easily work through a long overdue and most widely forecasted 10% correction in the history of capital markets. Meanwhile those who he fooled by such ludicrous notions gained zero economic advantage or benefit whatsoever- only ridiculous end of the world DVDs, vitamins and whatever other nonsense the rubes were duped into purchasing. • Marco

What do you make of the fact that the CAPE on the S&P 500 is currently sitting at 24.7, which is about 50% above its long-term average? Also what do you make of the fact that the valuation confidence index for individuals has dropped from 72% in 2012 to 49% today?

When considering the above information, do you still believe the 10% correction is as far down as we will go? Or do you feel that market valuation will return to their long term norms of around 18 P/E?

        • Marco

          sorry thats 16 P/E ratio, not 18.

          • fwalker15

To me the p/e ratio is trailing data so the notion of applying historic data to forward looking price discovery seems backward; like trying to drive an automobile relying exclusively on the rearview mirror. IMHO a more useful earnings based ratio is the p/e/g or price/earnings/growth rate ratio where a p/e below the growth rate is very bullish (provided the current ratio, current assets/current liabilities is greater than 1 the higher the better) so the p/e/g below 1 the lower the better with current ratio above 1 the higher the better seems much more appropriate than the shiller nonsense although I doubt I will get a Nobel prize for that time tested microeconomic method. That being said on a macroeconomic level I am expecting more downside in equities likely beginning in October and lasting through the first and maybe second quarter of 2016 with a final low inflection point somewhere about 30% below the all time highs and somewhere between the second and third incremental increase in interest rates by the frb.

          • Marco

Interesting perspective, but that directly conflicts with what you’ve been saying for the last several weeks about how this 10% drop was the low point and stocks will continue to rise through September. Why the change of heart?

          • Herr

also, hate to break it to you but peg ratio is just as trailing/backward looking as cape or simple P/E ratio. Just because you divide P/E ratio over earnings growth does not make it forward looking. The only true forward looking measure is earnings estimates by analysts.

Better look in that rear view mirror on occasion, there could be a cop waiting to pull you over for speeding.

Okay, as no-one else wants to raise the subject, I ( reluctantly ) will….

Elul 29 has come and gone. It is now the evening of the 16th of September as I type this…. the “Big One” was tipped to happen on the 13th or 14th* ( *as the 13th was a Sunday ) – but nothing of any great note has happened as far as the mooted stock market collapse is concerned.

Although there is still time left for the “Shemitah effect” to take hold – as Jonathan said that “we mustn’t put God in a box” e.t.c. – the chances of it happening now are getting slimmer with each passing day. I must say I’m VERY disappointed.

I hope I’m proven wrong in the weeks ahead, but if not, the sceptics will have more ammunition to use against us, I fear.

    • Which is precisely why people should stop building doom and gloom based on dates. It is the kind of things which first fires back, second it is playing “Peter and the Wolf” syndrome – always calling for the wolf which is not there, then when he really is there no one believes it anymore…

All that doom and gloom makes a complete disservice to any “Christians” cause, and make it look like a joke for more and more people… which is sad honestly.

I agree with you, the quantity of ammunition against Christians is growing by the day thanks to misplaced and excessive doom and gloom

Jonathan Cahn stressed that it didn’t HAVE to happen ON THAT EXACT DAY, just that based on the truly amazing accuracy of the last two Elul 29’s, it would be interesting to see what if ANYTHING, would occur on that date. We now know that that EXACT DATE pattern has been broken.

He wasn’t making a prediction. He emphasised that point repeatedly. Certainly his book set out a very strong argument for something to happen. But God can’t be expected to frame His timing around us. We have to wait and see over the course of the next few weeks.

        • When I said “doom and gloom based on date” I was not really speaking about Jonathan Cahn. I know he did not make any prediction, in fact he was, and still is, urging people to avoid putting “God in a box”.

But i was more speaking about some people here and other places who did, and still wants, to put “God in a box” and uses dates setting as a tool to create useless fear which later on backfire anyway.

It is unwise, to say the least, to use DATES in any prediction, which is why I respect Jonathan Cahn for his call to carefulness with the use of the Shemita pattern (apparently many did not listen to him on that point).

Will there be a judgement? yes.
Will there be an Economic Crash? absolutely.
Is it now? Maybe, maybe not.
Are there signs of a pending disaster worldwide? No doubt.
Do we have to prepare? At all time we have to be ready whatever the case.

Yet, life continues anyway. And we have to enjoy life, no hope for disasters…

    • fwalker15

Aside from the ridiculous spelling errors and the ludicrous VERY disappointed delusion what you consider “ammunition to use against us” a rational sane person would consider “facts grounded in reality. Obviously you should be VERY disappointed and should look homeward then seek professional mental health help.

      • Spectrum

“….Aside from the ridiculous spelling errors…” Really ? WHAT errors ? Kindly point them out.

As I mentioned, I’m mainly very disappointed that the market crash or other form of judgement didn’t happen on the EXACT DAY ( Elul 29 in the jewish calendar (13th -14th September in ours ) ) that it has on previous, recent Shemitah cycles. THERE IS STILL TIME however ( up to weeks ) for it to kick in. So I’m not completely deflated yet.

And anyway, even if it doesn’t happen – and remember – it doesn’t HAVE to – there are still many prophetic events occurring in other areas for believers to be hopeful about. My faith in the lord and His SOON return, is still, and always WILL BE, unshakeable.

This evil world IS going to be judged, whether it be via the Shemitah or some other means e.g. natural / man made disaster, war e.t.c. Plus there WILL inevitably be a stockmarket collapse, anyway. Most of the experts are unanimous that the world’s massive debt levels are unsustainable.

    • guest

Basing anything around a date when speculating about future events isn’t wise. Event based yes.. however.. the future isn’t set until it’s the past. Look, there are probabilities of things going to hell. But, it’s not guaranteed for sure. Just like it’s not guaranteed for you to do well, or for the Banana Republic to even make it.

My advice? Love your woman. Live well. Train hard. Do well. Think for yourself. Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket. If you JUST prep, or JUST play in stocks and fiat… you’re a one trick pony.

    • stephen

The shemitah that Jonathan Cahn says applies to the U.S. because the market crashed 7% (actually the stock market dipped and later recovered) is a scam. But is that the truth? Actually figure for 17 Sept 2001 was 6.98%. The other dates are rounded up and down; its unfortunate that Jonathan Cahn makes claims about a total stock market crash but the bible says the shemitah was ONLY given to Israel and there are no prophesies about it applying to any other nation.
      Interesting.

Also interesting is the 6.98% dip in the stock market… does that mean God does not do what He says He will? Or that the U.S. is only 6.98% bad so the market only dipped that amount?

Another interesting point – because the shemitah is a release of DEBTS but it’s not mandatory for foreigners creates a problem for Cahn too. Then there is the OPTION for Jews to release debts of foreigners – again something Cahn does not talk about even though it’s clearly shown in scripture.

“At the end of every seven years you shall grant a release of debts. 2 And this is the form of the release: Every creditor who has lent anything to his neighbor shall release it; he shall not require it of his neighbor or his brother, because it is called the Lord’s release. 3 Of a foreigner you may require it; but you shall give up your claim to what is owed by your brother, 4 except when there may be no poor among you; for the Lord will greatly bless you in the land which the Lord your God is giving you to possess as an inheritance—“ Deut 15:1-4

BTW the shemitah is a release of debts, not stock market. If you look at the consumer and govt debt levels from 1930 to present, there is no decrease or wiping away of any debts. But what was the result of the crash… err dip in the market in 2008? There was a 700 million dollar bailout that was placed upon the backs of citizens via taxes, which resulted in more govt debt and more consumer debt. I wonder Cahn doesn’t bring up that info in his books & DVDs?

Cahn also states the “wake” of the shemitah destroys economies and people are ravaged by the lack of food but again scripture disagrees with Cahn. Yes the 7th year is to lie fallow but look what happens in the 6th year…

“‘And if you say, “What shall we eat in the seventh year, since we shall not sow nor gather in our produce?”21 Then I will command My blessing on you in the sixth year, and it will bring forth produce enough for three years. 22 And you shall sow in the
eighth year, and eat old produce until the ninth year; until its produce comes in, you shall eat of the old harvest.”
      Leviticus 25:20-22

Notice that if they observe shemitah there would be no famine, hunger or lack of money because God would increase the 6th year harvest 3x its normal amount. If they disobeyed the shemitah, they would only harvest that years amount. Either way it would not wreck their society.

I bet Cahn is already making excuses for when Sept 2015 passes and there is no total collapse.

Be careful whom you follow – let it be no man but the Father, the Messiah and the Holy Spirit – all of which are never in conflict with the scriptures.

      • Spectrum

There is no denying that the previous two Elul 29’s have been amazingly accurate. And from reading his book, there is no way he could have manipulated the facts and statistics to suit his aims. But remember that the judgement / collapse does not have to happen on the EXACT DAY of Elul 29, it can happen before, or even a few weeks AFTER it. So there’s still time for it to occur – it just hasn’t struck on that particular DAY – THIS time. In fact, it doesn’t have to happen AT ALL. Jonathan emphasised that strongly and repeatedly. He said ; “we can’t put God in a box.” I still believe he is the genuine article. It isn’t his fault that God has decided to delay things.

I’m disappointed and surprised that it hasn’t eventuated yet, because with all the prophetic signs around us getting more and more frequent and significant, one would logically EXPECT it to – about now. Looks like we’ll have to wait a while longer.

But the crash and the judgement WILL happen – it’s only a matter of time !

I never heard that before, 15 ways to get to heaven that Jesus required.
All He requires is one to repent of their sins, (realize they are sinners) and believe in Him, that He’s God’s son, and what He’s done on the cross. Paying the debt due, for our justification.
Here is scripture to back it up.

What is weird is the total sound of silence.
The news media including Drudge has shut down all communication concerning the markets right now for some reason.

Meantime, a debate will occur tonight on the Republican side of things.
The Speaker of the House is in jeopardy of being asked to step down.
All over Planned Parenthood funding . . .
The government itself might be shut down over funding issues.
All of which might contribute to a market that might make 2008 look like a parade.
3 People have been arrested for insider trading. According to Drudge about 3 or 4 days ago. It has since been removed from the site.
How they can do that with all the Congress being immune from such laws is enough to make one wonder. It is obviously a stacked deck of cards. More important everyone knows it is a stacked deck right now.
Nothing says controlled speech more than what is going on right now.
In other times, in other media, what is going on would be on the front pages of every newspaper in the country.
The total sound of silence . . . yet as little as a week ago it was all over the news.
I get suspicious. Everyone else should get suspicious too.
There is no way to win at poker or markets when the house controls the deck of cards.

That includes silver, gold, or even Real Estate investments.
Government can and will shut the entire thing down.

Relax people, you all sound like a teenage girl whose boyfriend hasn’t responded to her text in two seconds. You cannot put a date on the collapse, only the elite know when they want to let it go. As for all of you God mockers, just keep going. One day He will come back and you mockers will be on your knees like the rest of us begging for His salvation. Except some of us will have an inside lane as we have already pledged ourselves to Him, the true God. Not the watered down version so many churches buy into. They preach love and forgiveness and forget wrath and justice. As for Michael, maybe he is tired of listening to the whiners and naysayers. Why continue on? You have been warned, do with it what you will. Michael, just know that some of us appreciate your hard work. God Bless

    • John Noyb

Agreed – don’t know why the mockers waste thier time reading this blog if they think Michael is such a “tin hatter” and then waste more of thier time writing posts to lambast those that happen to agree with Michael. Sure wouldn’t want to bet my life on what he’s saying is wrong – the signs are all around the globe – keep your eyes on the events in the Middle East. The Bible has proven to be 100% accurate, 100% of the time!

  • ipono

Shemitah advocates now will try to associate today’s 8.4 magnitude earthquake in Chile with the impending economic collapse…paradoxically, Chilean people are not panicking in the streets or desperate invoking god’s mercy as a result of this natural phenomenon – instead they are acting normally.

    • stephen

Yea the shemitah that Jonathan Cahn says applies to the U.S. because the market crashed 7% (actually the stock market dipped and later recovered).

Anyway, good things happening in my economy. God is on the throne and I trust Him only. Not gold, silver, lead, guns, or food storage. You know, all those things that will either rot or be stolen from you? How many times have you had to rotate the old food stock? I used to walk by this Mormon family home and they had to rent a large dumpster every few months to throw out the rotted food items. Oh well, live and learn. Nothing will save you like Jesus period! Well, September is more than half gone and no catastrophic events, unless you want to count the base player in our band quitting. The only thing I see on course is the ever so increasing black on white crime, and the lack of media coverage such acts get…

  • Annette Smith

Well, I think that the Shemitah didn’t come about the way most were thinking it might. The Fed did not up the rate….looks like everything is all hunky-dory! And, not a new article from Michael. This has been there for days! He usually posts more than that. Disappointed that there wasn’t anything new to read. Did you know that Calvary Chapel’s think that Jonathan Cahn is a fraud?

    • Why he is seen as a fraud? He never predicted anything, he just pointed out a Biblical pattern.

The problem is that people WANTS something to happen (as if it was a game), they force things into the discovered patterns, then fix dates… then nothing happen, finally people are disappointed… and of course, when nothing happen, people have to find a scapegoat for their own foolishness – Jonathan Cahn fits the perfect bill for the perfect scapegoat, after all was he not the one attracting attention on the pattern seen in the Scriptures whether the Harbinger or the Shemitah?

Yet, again and again, Jonathan Cahn always urged people too avoid putting “God in a box”, fixing dates and make predictions he never made in the first place.

      • Annette Smith

Do a Google search on Jonathan Cahn Fraud and read some of the articles. I dunno….

        • Yes, Google “Calvary Chapel Fraud and Abuse”, also…

As a matter of fact Google “This Fraud”, Google “That Fraud” you will learn that everyone is a fraud, everyone is abusing something. For any given knowledge you will have someone being against it.

Another example of that is another exercise people can do with Google :
          Google “Russia is Babylon”
          Google “Muslim is the Beast”
          Google “Europe is the Beast”
          Google “Europe is Babylon”
          Google “USA is Babylon”, etc

In each you will find good and plausible explanation of why it is the case. In our day and age of increased knowledge, everyone have an opinion on everything and can now share it to the world. So what is true, what is false, what is a fraud, what is not? Wisdom, humility, carefulness and discernment are the keys.

Now, just for the sake of argument here (it is just an illustration) –
          – Let’s say that people believe there is Satan existing. He is against the Truth.

          – Let’s say now that Jonathan Cahn says the Truth and help people (especially believers of any group) to open their eyes and lead them to repentance, and by way of consequences back to the Messiah.

          – What would Satan do in that situation? I’m pretty sure that the first thing he would do would be to accuse Jonathan cahn of being a fraud to lead people far from the Truth he is displaying. (after all, is not the Adversary doing that since the dawn of Christianity beginning with the Messiah Himself, then the Apostles, etc, and will do it until the end?)

A lot of people in the Christian Church have their own agenda as well, so I’m not really surprised of people calling J. Cahn a fraud anyway.
Which is why, what is important is what we observe and witness as REALLY happening and have a balanced look on a subject (whether religious or Economic it is the same principle of balance, not arrogance).

The end of the matter is “Is the Pattern real or not”? Yes, the pattern is there and real (again it is a PATTERN, not a Prophecy).
Now, does it mean “the End of the World in a blood bath”? No.
Does it mean that pattern will happen again this year? No, but it could…
The Pattern is just there. The rest is or will be History.

          • Annette Smith

I think you might be successful as a blog writer, if you are not one already.

          • No, I’m not really.Thank you for the compliment :-)
I just try to bring some balance on this blog from time to time after reading some comments which could be borderline, from one extreme to the other (which was not the case with yours btw).

I appreciate peoples comments here , although sometime I completely disagree, I still respect the different point of view expressed here – Atheist, Christians, Gnostics, pure Finance guy like fwalker15, pure Prepper like others… they all bring a different facet on topic (Michael’s article in this case) I would not have think about by myself.

            So, always something to learn.

      • stephen

When the Fed can’t even raise interest rates .25%, because the economy just can’t take it –
    – it just proves what Michael Snyder’s been saying all along – that we’re dangerously close to collapse.

Don’t you think that of all people, BANKERS would raise interest rates if it was at all possible? But they can’t, can they?

The stock market is a total sham. Its value is built on QE1, QE2 and QE3. Trillions of dollars of free money, NOT honest value in the companies themselves.

    – 93,000,000 people out of work (5.1% unemployment is a lie only a liberal could believe)
    – Wages at 1980s levels
    – Massive manipulation of gold prices to prevent the dollar from totally collapsing

The American economy is a thin, fragile, delicate shell, empty inside.

    • G21

There is one and only one reason that the economy hasn’t crumbled to dust yet – and that is because the United States still supports Israel, although that support is waning quickly.

God is honoring his Word, which says that he will bless those who bless Israel.

But watch out for the demonic anti-Israel forces at the UN this month. Our support for Israel is hanging by the thinnest of threads.
When you see Hussein Obama, the America/Israel-hating muslim, withdraw his support for Israel, in favor of a Palestinian state,

      DUCK!

      • fwalker15

Pretty disrespectful hate comment against the POTUS there and the UN and international rule of law. Remarkable this site permits such.

      • G21

Once again, when I see a reply by fwalker15, I hide it without reading it, because he’s an annoying jerk.
I urge everyone to do the same.

      • larry

There is NOTHING in the bible that says we should be supporting israel. Let alone those in power in that country who are just as evil as the elites that rule the US. They are 2 sides of the same coin.

      • GSOB

“There is one and only one reason that the economy hasn’t crumbled to dust yet – and that is because the United States still supports Israel,”

Is that in the NT or the OT?

        Please read this passage….

“Go down to the potter’s house, and there I will give you my message.”

So I went down to the potter’s house, and I saw him working at the wheel.

But the pot he was shaping from the clay was marred in his hands; so the potter formed it into another pot, shaping it as seemed best to him.

Then the word of the Lord came to me.

He said, “Can I not do with you, Israel, as this potter does?” declares the Lord.

“Like clay in the hand of the potter, so are you in my hand, Israel.

If at any time I announce that a nation or kingdom is to be uprooted or torn down and destroyed, and if that nation I warned repents of its evil, then I will relent and not inflict on it the disaster I had planned.”

        My point:

Upon all of God’s true Israel, Jew or Gentile, all who truly glory in the cross, the blessing is pronounced. (Galatians 6:16)

    • fwalker15

At this point its beyond ridiculous to claim he is or has been correct in any way shape or form. As for the related mental health disorders that cause the end of civilizations disorders, they deserve pity although one can not help ROFL when reading such delusions.

The problem with sites like this is that they keep predicting a collapse in this or that month, this or that year, but when things don’t quite happen as they predicted… well, there’s more months and years ahead. Of course the global economic system will collapse at some point and it’s just a matter of time, but you kind of lose credibility when you continue crying wolf all the time, it really doesn’t serve much of a purpose.

  • blackhawk132

Dont worry . When you die ; You will see God OR just lie there and ROT.

Why did the Dow close DOWN 65 points today? After all, no interest rate increase by the Fed was supposed to be stock market-positive, yes?

Here’s why the Dow closed DOWN 65 points – –

Because stock brokers know that the economy is too WEAK to raise interest rates.
And because the economy’s WEAK, the Dow closed DOWN!

The Dow at 16000+ is a SHAM!
It has a LONG way to fall!

    • fwalker15

Let’s see if it can at least fall the 1000 points its gained since your ridiculous rants began – although I would speculate and say those foolish rants more likely began thousands of djia points lower. If it makes you feel better I did open positions that profit as markets move lower (tza – 3x inverse if Russell 2000 index) let’s hope you’re correct and those decadent and decaying markets collapse… Or at least decline 2 to 3%.

  • G21

Q: If we have a healthy economy for a REAL stock market, why hasn’t the Fed raised interest rates for 55 consecutive FOMC meetings?

A: Because the US economy is NOT healthy, and the stock market is a SHAM, based on lies and debt.

    • GoldenGirl

The Fed yielded to international pressure to not raise interest rates in order to help Europe with its economic debt crisis. They are trying to deflect capital inflows back to Europe. They did the same thing in 1927, for the same reason. It had the exact opposite effect. History does have a funny way of repeating itself.

      • Matt

Sounds like you read Martin Armstrong. He said that exact same thing.

        • GoldenGirl

Yes, as a matter of fact I do. And he is absolutely correct.

          • Matt

Yeah I agree with his take on the Fed and debt crisis. Though it seems he is expecting US stocks to skyrocket as a result as money moves out of Europe.

          • GoldenGirl

Only temporarily, as I understand it, as money moves to safety. It makes perfect sense to me. He has made it very clear that this is debt/government crisis and not a stock market bubble, as many people are claiming. The sovereign debt crisis starts in Europe, as we are seeing, spreads to Japan (downgraded today) and then to the US. The end of 2017 seems to be the turning point in the US. We may indeed be headed for an economic collapse, but it won’t be from the equity markets, initially. The really scary part is what he foresees for pensions. What are your thoughts?

          • Matt

I see it becoming a full on financial crisis with it starting as a debt crisis then hat sparks a crisis of confidence which could lead to a run on the banks. Many banks will fail because of leverage, derivatives, and a run on their deposits. The truth is there are so many bubbles right now and so much speculation caused by cheap money that it could come from any direction. The various markets are all so intertwined that when one domino falls it has a ripple effect. The derivatives market is where I see everything blowing up. Between the currency wars, sovereign debt crisis, and wild speculation it’s all a ticking time bomb that is ready to explode. We are one Lehman Brothers away from the next crisis.

          • GoldenGirl

I agree, but I think the crisis in confidence is with government. Thus, the Donald Trump phenomenon. The global markets are all connected and the US economy does not exist in a vacuum. Government is completely corrupt, and our day of reckoning may not come next month or next year, but it will come. The banks are a mess and the public doesn’t understand that they really are not protected due to the repeal of Sarbanes-Oxley. The smart people I know only keep enough money in the bank to pay their bills. The only game in town has been the US equities market and the strong US dollar, and people who dismiss this have missed an incredible opportunity. Armstrong’s solutions conference was brilliant in that he presented what needs to be done to get back to the Constitution. I hope we make it that far.

          • GSOB

The national sovereign debt will collapse, left unchecked, and Christians will rebuild, using the Word of God and empowered by Christ the Spirit.

To start with, what is not of God’s building, it will not stand.
The day will reveal what sort it is through fire. Judgment to those who practice evil.

The day of salvation is now.
Reformation starts at the heart level of the individual in their own lives and conduct.

Christians are salt and light, as ambassadors for Christ.

What constantly remains as life goes on from one day to the next is
            faith, hope and love.

          • larry

Frightening to think fundies would be involved in a rebuilding of the us. Unfortunately will NOT happen as the elites have bloodlines that span generations and centuries and they will ALWAYS rule over this planet and 3rd dimension.

          • GSOB

Satan seeks to kill and destroy.
God seeks to cleanse and give life.
            What are ‘fundies’?

          • stephen

Scripture says the Messiah will return and set everything right. It does not say ‘christians’ will rebuild anything.

            Just saying.

          • GSOB

“It does not say ‘christians’ will rebuild anything.”

            ………………

            Can’t you read?

Be careful how you build…1 COR 3:10,

            Matthew 5:14,

            Matthew 7:26

          • GoldenGirl

I guess I don’t see an economic crisis as the end of the world, but as an opportunity for political reform.

          • GSOB

            Reform to what?

          • GoldenGirl

I was thinking back to a fiscally responsible government; reining in “career” politicians who have created such debt that there is no way to repay it without creating a state of economic tyranny; who will do anything to retain their power, including taxing us all back to a communist state; who get us into senseless wars; and who are bought and sold to the highest bidder. How’s that for starters? :-)

          • GSOB

The word of God defines the role of government.
That is what we should reform it to.
When Godless governments fall, Christians have the biblical approach to restore.

          • charles

People could rein in career politicians by NOT continuing to vote them into office.

          • GoldenGirl

Ain’t it the truth! And I would even go so far as term limits for congress.

  • SunnyFlaSnotress

I’ll have my attack dog peeon your leg before I pepper spray you.

  • Matt

The only problem is bubbles can go on for years. I agree it is artificially inflated but it can keep going up until a major crisis unfolds. That could be years away.

    • G21

Something else that could bring down the stock market – besides a major crisis – is for America to withdraw its support for Israel.
At this point, America’s tepid support for the Apple of God’s Eye is all that’s holding things together.

      • Matt

What support for Israel? We just sided with Israel’s enemy with the Iran deal. Obama has no heart for Israel and made them far less safe.

        • G21

At this point anyway, Hussein Obama is still giving lipservice to the idea that America supports Israel.
However, this month at the UN there will be a strong push to recognize a “State of Palestine”. I hope I’m wrong, but I expect Hussein Obama, the America/Israel-hating muslim, to abandon Israel and support this effort.

This would be disastrous for America.

          • Matt

Yes Obama is the biggest anti-Israeli President and I don’t see him turning that ship around. I see the U.S. turning further and further from God. We will eventually have a day of reckoning but when is the question?

You can be technically right and yet be wrong.
    It proves nothing.
The entire game is controlled by the house.
The house in this case is the people in control of the entire financial shooting match.
So even though all the “facts” say the market will go down it can only happen if the government allows it to happen. And obviously there are controls set up to keep it from happening on schedule.
In the last week the market has not nose dived for a reason.
IF they can keep it from happening they will.
IF it is off by at least a week or two these same individuals can discredit the messengers that are telling it like it really is.
And that is exactly what most likely has happened here.
    The markets are being manipulated.
But someone has talked a lot of people into keeping the market from collapsing at huge expense.
I predict that somewhere down the road this group will have to pay the piper. But I can see why September would be very inconvenient to a lot of politicians.
I suggest they can postpone the inevitable for a little while. Sooner or later it will catch up with them.

About Syria and Iraq, why doesn´t Jesus appear with legions of angels and gives an epic but-kicking to the butchers of christians?
That would pretty much humiliate and end atheism too.

    One question..
    Are you Catholic or Christian?
    Don’t make me guess.

    • NinjaGiraffe

Traditional… that is, non liberal, pre vatican II… Roman… acknowledging the man in the office as holding a position of authority, not anything wrong he says or does, which wrongs or errors I am morally bound by the Faith to ignore/disobey… Catholic.

People can save the, “but the pope is doing/saying….!” Yup… It’s a pity and a scandal. And it’s not my problem.

The men who hold positions of authority in the Church have a judge, but it’s not me. Largely I don’t even pay attention to the constant stream of (especially moral, religious and philosophical) scandal coming out of Rome, any more. (For charity’s sake, really.) If they have something good to say, I’ll listen, with all respect due to the office, and to the man insofar as he is respectable. Where error or wrong is preached, I reject it, just like I’m supposed to do. Simple as that.

I have no fear of not participating in the coming cashless world financial system. “They” will be implementing it very soon, they have almost run out of time.

With all of their efforts lately to create through staged shootings a world-wide anti-gun sentiment, I can’t help but consider whether Revelation 13: 3-4, and Thessalonians 2: 8-12 has something to do with this pope’s “coming” visit to the U.S..

“they” can not proceed with total world enslavement (a cashless society) until they confiscate the firearms of Freedom Loving Americans, that is unless they choose to totally destroy the U.S. which I believe is also predicted in the Book of Revelation – it’s the timing that “No one can be sure of”. We all would be better off with the later. Something is going to happen very soon, so get right with God – much more important than prepping.

Do your research, these people believe in the Trinity, it’s just that they do not worship Him, they are satan worshipers. Do the research.

The upcoming visit of His Holiness Pope Francis to America is to reaffirm Vatican’s inherent rights over THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (an established corporation). The US Constitution is based on Vatican’s Code of Canon Law and Article VI, First and Second Clauses are clear on the postulate stated above: the United States never abrogated Inter Caetera and the Supremacy Clause establishes the hierarchical rule on how power emanates (and the Sovereign is NOT the people).

Moreover, Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI is entirely correct describing in Dominus Iesus other faiths as gravely deficient in the means of salvation.

I don’t ‘believe’ in the stock market as I think you mean it, but I do think that it is a perfectly legitimate way to grow one’s money. There are different types of investing in the market. I am not a trader, as that is outside of my comfort level, but I do invest. (I don’t think there is anything wrong with being a trader, by the way.) I have a fairly good understanding of how the markets work, and I am conservative in my choices. I am also a Christian who believes that we are to be good stewards of our money. The Bible makes many statements about money and finances, and nowhere have I read that we are to hoard our money without making it grow.) The stock market is not for everyone, but demonizing it is not good either. If you understand how it works, global capital flows, currencies, etc., you will see that it is very hard to ‘rig.’ May I suggest reading a book called “The Richest Man In Babylon,” and maybe about the life of Sir John Templeton, an American-born British investor and philanthropist, who also happened to be a Christian. You might also benefit as I have from reading Martin Armstrong’s blog. Finally, while I do believe we are not to put our faith in governments, financial institutions, and the world’s systems, we do have to function within them. Making sound investments, whether it be in the stock market or elsewhere, is a legitimate way of doing so. All just my opinion, very humbly submitted.

Wow, GOLD was up almost 2% today!
Real money vs. paper money/wishes/stock market.

    • fwalker15

Wow gold is only down 18% over the last 12 months

  • G21

Okay, enough of baiting those who believe in the world’s system.
Here’s the Holy Bible’s investment plan (which has been proven for more than 2000 yrs) –

10 Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.
12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for ye shall be a delightsome land, saith the LORD of hosts.
    – Malachai 3:10-12

    • G21

If you trust God, if you hear his voice, if you were known by Him before the foundation of the world – then heed his Word!

If not, well, you can continue throwing your living into the devourer’s pit.

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

Especially when the “thieves” are the Fed and Big-Nanny-Government!

  • G21

Unbelievably, America is (eagerly) turning away from God, who made America the great nation it once was.
Society is gnashing its teeth against Christians, and this will only increase. They hate the light because their deeds are evil.
Soon we’ll see what it’s like to live in a nation which rejects the Lord Jesus Christ. But as the darkness gathers,

YOUR light will shine the brighter!
As Michael said, you were born for such a time as this!

    • jack

God did not make america the supposed great nation you revere and miss. Rather it was the greed of a few, disguised as prosperity for the many that made america what it was and what it has become today.

Please read up on the true history of this country and stop parroting the patriotic b.s. rhetoric that you learned through your public indoctrination.

If god really blessed this country (knowing full well the government and leaders evil acts and deeds) then god is probably not someone any of us want in our lives.

  • G21

Off topic (just a little) –
    – A group of scientists is asking Hussein Obama, the America/Israel-hating muslim, to prosecute those who disagree with their findings about “global warming”.
Is each citizen in America free to believe what he chooses or not?
Will “deniers” eventually be hunted down and prosecuted?

    • fwalker15

Racial and religious hate comments are never off topic with you. Your own admission of “just a little” further proves that.

  • Kent Harris

    Michael are you on vacation?

    Where’s Michael?

  • Perry

Is Michael ok? He normally seems to post more frequently.

    • fwalker15

You don’t see the most recent article? Clearly “I have no fear of an economic collapse” suggests you’ve been duped all along and thanks to all the ridiculous end of civilization books and video sales your fearless leader no longer has to fear either way.

  • Again, for those who still ask where Michael is, he is participating to “The Day of Aw Conference” in Idaho…

  • Xeon

No economic collapse so far…Shemitah was just another marketing technique to make quick money based on fearporn

  • Priszilla

Right now, ISIS is occupying Europe and Germany welcomes them all.

Michael is at “The Day of Awe” conference. It’s going to be chock-full of prayer (so said on this site) and is free to anyone who wants to attend. I’m sure plenty of orders for books will be welcome. Key people there will be Michael, Benjamin Baruch, Nathan Leal and Lyn Leahz.

From endtimedelusion (dot)com in the comments section of their “About” heading:

    7. False prophets always finesse their failed prophecies by saying something like, “God heard our prayers and He has postponed judgement for the moment.” Or, they will point to one current event or another and try to shoehorn it to fit their bogus prophecies.

Just a guess, but Michael “has no fear of an economic collapse” because he’s going to come back saying, “God heard our prayers and He has postponed judgement for the moment.”

Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
1 John 4:1 King James Version (KJV)

If a weatherman issues a storm warning and no storm comes did the weatherman fail to do his job? A red alert is a warning that a financial crisis could begin unfolding. Things certainly do not look good from a financial perspective when you look at the global picture. All investors should be concerned right now. If the U.S. Economy is so strong, why can’t the Fed slowly begin moving rates toward normal policy? Here’s a hint: if they raise rates the house of cards comes tumbling down.

      • fwalker15

When a person forecasts a storm on September 13 and 14 and a storm arrives in August and theres inclement weather remains even during and after the forecasters days a functional brain would recognize that incorrect forecast. Rather than try and scramble terms like U.S. stock and bond market investors, U.S. economy, global “pictures”, us frb monetary policy you may want to educate yourself on what those terms represent and how they correlate then appreciate the comedy of your misunderstanding. Here’s a hint: if they do not raise rates then econonic activity and by extension capital markets remain at greater risk. Likely the confusion of the different terms leads to confusion of the causes and effects. Regardless that September 13-14 supernatural collapse theory / forecast / hunch = roflmao.

        • Matt

You clearly have no clue about what you are talking about. If our economy was just fine, with 5.1% unemployment which is considered full employment, a stealth 3.7% GDP, and tame inflation why wouldn’t the fed start slowly bringing rates to a normal level? The dollar will get stronger, deflation will get worse and the debt bubble will implode. Truth is the central banks are losing control and there will be a financial crisis sooner rather than later.

          • fwalker15

Keep telling yourself such foolishness. Meanwhile you fail to mention the only metric that monetary policy keys off – average hourly wages – keep guessing you may fool the rubes with no educations nor experience. The notion of a collapse due to the currency being too strong is actually too funny for words. Thanks for the great laughs after another day of hitting the register with market gains while you continue to cower in fear as a result of your ludicrous market notions. ROFL

          • Matt

Look at how many multinationals are getting hurt by a strong dollar. You have no clue on how economics actually work. I never said a strong dollar would lead to a collapse so it proves you can’t read either. I said rising rates will pop the bond bubble. The sovereign debt crisis is what will create a financial collapse. When you have zero percent interest for an unhealthy period of time it can lead to massive speculation and then deflation just ask Japan. I have no fear I expect the markets to retest their lows then head higher.

          • fwalker15

Seems if you understood economics you’d know the difference between economics and markets and would not be so confused on their interaction and would likely also know that higher rates would benefit the broader economy and the velocity of money and the adverse affects to stocks would benefit bonds as capital flows closer in the risk curve in a flight to quality reaction. Pretty much exact opposite your homeschooling in economics suggests. ROFL

  • Matt

Are you saying Michael is a false prophet? Additionally I don’t think he predicted that the collapse would happen all at once. If we look around the globe with China, Russia, Greece, France, Brazil, etc you can see a major financial crisis brewing. Will it be a collapse? Only time will tell.

  • Matt

Shemitah ended and chaos usually follows within first few weeks afterward. We are not in the clear yet. The oct crash of 2015 should be historic!

  • DB200

Today I read in the news: “Delay interest rate hike bad news for emerging markets”. The FED is vindicated for not raising the interest rate. From what I read, more and more analysts are becoming very critical about the FED. That of course, is no news to the readers of this blog who were already critical towards the behaviour of the FED.

  • Catman

I guess few want to say it, but I was surprised we did not see a major drop in markets on Sept 14. I suppose we should bear in mind the Shemitah ended on a Sunday, and perhaps there was a reason for that this year. It does appear nonetheless stocks are dropping as in previous seven year cycles since 1973. I think we have much more significant, devastating things coming our way than a simple market collapse. The Lord has been patient with us, calling us to repentance, and usually a hit to the pocketbook makes us think. But now things are getting downright serious with the Muslim invasion from the East headed our way. As some folks who are recognized as prophets by some have proclaimed, Obama could be our last president, and the judgments could now be all encompassing financially, geographically, and certainly culturally.

  • yup

I think so it has been 10 days since a post on any of his blogs.

  • Ben

Sorry doom and gloomers. We are out of your “Shemitah” phase by now, aren’t we? No major collapse to report on? Western economies still chugging along just fine. Have a good day.

  • J_Mulkey

    Where are you?

  • sir yes sir

Just read a sad article about the United States military ignoring child rapes in Afghanistan because a US soldier was just killed by one of the rapists victims.

As a christian would you be able to lay in a bunker feet away from where a child is being raped and do nothing, because you were told that this is part of the culture?

Would you be willing to lose your life to help save someone from a horrific rape? Even if you were given direct orders to ignore it?

The leaders in our military and our country are the most dishonorable SOB’s on the planet. However, each and every one of us has a choice. To ignore evil because an authority figure tells us to, or to say the h–ll with it and do the right thing because it is what we should do as human beings.

Would you rather live to old age knowing you did nothing to stop a child from being abused or would you rather die at a young age to stop it?

  • Jazz

I think Michael is missing because he is renaming this blog to The Economic Build Up Blog because the markets keep charging higher. It’s the land of milk and honey. The roaring 2010s where the Dow goes to 35,000. No collapse just building up more wealth! Eat drink and be merry because we are the Bulls and we still in control!

    • fwalker15

      That’s a dream sp500 headed to 1450-1500 after October :)

      • Matt

Mr Walker. I thought you were a bull or do you talk out of both sides of your mouth?

        • fwalker15

Ive been saying since my first comments that after mutual funds report end of September that the sell off would continue in October and stocks would see levels 30% below their all time highs although last week at sp500 2020 which was my target for sp500 2020-2050 I did turn bearish again and again bought tza as a hedge which you can see from my previous comments I often trade. Although I’m bearish and see lows ahead by the second qtr of 2016 – as I’ve said continuously here – I do not attribute it to a supernatural event nor do I think it is the collapse of civilian – just tradition market cycles coinciding with economic cycles. Some here know me from the CNBC site and have seen these same commenrs since all time highs since may.

  • Matt

I expect the markets to retest their August lows and then a sovereign debt crisis will unfold and capital will flood back to the states pushing our dollars, stocks, and bonds higher before we collapse over the next 2-3 years

    • fwalker15

      A comical notion

Well you have no understanding of capital flows then. Follow the money! Europe will collapse then Japan and all that capital will flow to the U.S. before the rest of the world figures out we are in worst shape than all of them combined. Our debt to GDP is unsustainable. Eventually you either need to increase your revenue or decrease your spending- the U.S. is not doing enough on either front.

    • fwalker15

Keep telling yourself how far ahead if the curve you are vs the jgb and ecb and everyone with formal educations and experience in the areas you espouse those ridiculous notions ROFL

      • Matt

You have no idea about my formal education but here’s a hint. I do have an advance degree in finance & economics and do have more than 20 years of financial experience. Watch Europe and then come back and tell me I’m right when they fall apart.

        • fwalker15

Perhaps you mean post graduate levels of education but that doesn’t seem likely as you would surely know those are two mutually exclusive undergraduate studies. Either way thanks for the laughs and of course I will be watching euroland however I doubt all 51 of those nations will be collapsing anytime soon as lunatics have forecasted for centuries.

  • Hussanatu

We are being overrun by illegal immigrants because the Obama administration want us to be overrun. More immigrants equals more votes for the democrats, the ones who are keeping the gravy train going.

  • Ami O’Neal

    I love this.

Great article. I needed to hear it. God Bless.

  • Divyang Thakur

Dude, I am an atheist and a communist and trust me brother I know exactly why I’m here and why history is unfolding as it is. It has been succinctly explained in Marx’s Capital and by Engels on Historical Materialism. In fact it was Marx who predicted the downfall of capitalism. And its here. Nothing to do with some stupid Christian God.

  • David Ayer

Yeah, I never really pay much attention to any of this. If something happens I will just roll with it. September was suppose to be a mess, no matter what it seemed something was gonna happen. Seems doomsday is alway just over the next horizon 3months from now on SHTFPlan. It’s got to where it’s hard to take anything Slavo has to say serious anymore. Of course reading comments there you always find a crowd that is down for every conspiracy, every doomsday scenario. How can you live like that? Sure in the next few years there is the chance of many things going south, but try not to stress over the hype. Beng prepared is a slice of life it’s not the whole thing. Have a good plan in place, be prepared, avoid crowds, and live your life. If and when stuff goes south slip quietly away to where you need to be at that time. The reason you prepare is so you don’t have to worry, trust in what you have done and relax. These wars and rumors of war are for others to worry about, not you. You’re prepared.
