Shortages Are Getting Worse As The Global Supply Chain Crisis Enters An Ominous New Chapter

All of the shortages were supposed to be gone by now. During the first half of 2021, the blind optimists were assuring us that by the end of the year the pandemic would be over, the spike in inflation would have proven to be “transitory”, the global supply chain crisis would be resolved, and the U.S. economy would be booming. Of course the truth is that none of those things happened. In fact, overall conditions are even worse than they were six months ago. Now we are heading into 2022, and even the optimists are finding it difficult to say anything positive about the coming year.

What is 2022 going to look like if global supply chain problems continue to intensify? Not since World War II have we seen anything like the long-term shortages that we are now experiencing, and for many people this has been deeply frustrating.

For example, a lot of pet owners have been dealing with severe pet food shortages for months, and those shortages just seem to keep getting even worse. The following comes from a Wall Street Journal article entitled “The Pet-Food Shortage Is Real, and Owners Are Scrambling”…

After an online order didn’t show on time, Phyllis Pometta stopped at five different stores before she hit pay dirt. There it was on the shelf: beef stew-flavored dog food.

Ms. Pometta scooped up about four cans, which weren’t her preferred brand. She was desperate, with supplies of the food she usually bought for her dog nowhere to be found online or in stores.

These shortages are not just limited to a few areas of the country.

This is truly a nationwide phenomenon, and experts agree that it isn’t going to end any time soon.

Meanwhile, we are now being told that our nation is in the midst of “the great Candy Cane Crisis of 2021”…

And now we’re apparently in the thick of what the New York Post has called “the great Candy Cane Crisis of 2021.” According to the outlet, some retailers haven’t been able to keep candy canes in stock, due to a combination of ongoing supply chain issues and a downturn in this year’s peppermint crop.

“We only received half of our candy cane order for the holiday season and sold out almost immediately. We currently have zero in stock,” Mitchell Cohen, the owner of New York City’s Economy Candy, told The Post.

I never imagined that I would be writing about a candy cane shortage in December 2021, but here we are.

And for those that like to get drunk during the holiday season, we are also facing a growing nationwide shortage of beer…

Having a hard time finding your favorite craft beer? It could be part of the aluminum shortage, but the price of ingredients for beer is also skyrocketing due to supply chain issues throughout the world.

If this particular shortage continues to get worse, what will alcoholics all over America do in the months ahead?

Over in Japan, they are facing a different sort of a crisis. A lack of potatoes is forcing McDonald’s to start rationing french fries…

A ‘fry-tening’ supply chain problem has materialized for McDonald’s Holdings Co. Japan is forcing it to ration french fries for at least a week due to a potatoes shortage.

Beginning on Friday, Japanese consumers desiring a classic Big Mac will be barred from ordering medium- and large-sized french fries. They will be only allowed to order small french fries as the company blames massive flooding in Vancouver for its soggy mess and attempts to source spuds elsewhere.

The good news is that the Japanese tend to be quite polite, and so a lack of fries probably won’t start any riots.

But if we had to start rationing fries here in the United States, it would be a completely different story.

On the other side of the globe, the energy crisis in Europe went to an entirely new level this week…

Europe’s energy crisis got even worse on Tuesday as a shortage of natural gas, nuclear outages, declining wind power output, and cold weather boosted prices.

The gas price at the Dutch TTF hub, the benchmark gas price for Europe, soared 10% to a new record high of 165 euros per megawatt-hour after gas entering Germany at the Mallnow compressor station plunged to zero. Flows were diverted eastward to Poland.

Energy prices in Europe are now rising at an exponential rate, and that is going to mean a very cold winter for a whole lot of people.

I would like to tell you that these problems are going to go away in 2022, but I can’t.

Instead, it appears that our supply chain issues may continue to escalate.

One of the largest grocery store chains here in the United States began limiting purchases of certain food items prior to Thanksgiving, and then they made the list of restricted items quite a bit longer for the Christmas season…

Publix, which has more than 1,280 stores in the southern U.S., started limiting purchases of canned cranberry sauce, gravy, canned pie filling ahead of Thanksgiving. It has expanded its list of limited-purchase products ahead of Christmas to include sports drinks, half-and-half creamers, bacon, toilet paper, disposable plates, vegetable oils and cat food.

“Due to ongoing supply issues and increased holiday demand, we have updated our purchase limits,” Maria Brous, Publix director of communications, told USA TODAY, adding most products on the list are limited to two of each item including cat food variety packs.

But widespread rationing is perfectly normal, right?

The American people showed a great deal of patience early in this crisis, but now they are getting very restless, and many are blaming Joe Biden for our woes.

In fact, CNN is reporting that Joe Biden now has the lowest economic approval rating of any president since Jimmy Carter in 1977…

Biden now sports the lowest net economic rating of any president at this point through their first term since at least Jimmy Carter in 1977.

In the latest CNN/SSRS poll, Biden comes in with a 44% approval rating to 55% disapproval rating among registered voters on his economic performance. This makes for a -9 point net approval rating. The average of all polls taken in December is quite similar with Biden at -13 points on the economy.

And another recent survey found that seven out of every ten Americans believe that 2021 was a bad year for our country…

The new Fox Business survey of registered voters finds 70 percent say 2021 was a clunker for the country. While that is better than the 78 percent who felt that way about 2020, it’s still much worse than the 38 percent who called 2019 bad.

In addition, 55 percent feel this was a bad year for them personally. That too is an improvement from a high of 67 percent last year, but a far more negative assessment than in December 2019, before the pandemic started, when just a quarter said the same (26 percent).

It has definitely been a very tough year for most Americans, and so many of us are desperately hoping for a major turnaround in 2022.

But that isn’t going to happen.

It has taken decades of exceedingly foolish decisions to get us to this point, and an incredible amount of pain awaits us as we continue to steamroll down the path that we are currently on.

Biden, Pelosi, Schumer, Powell, Yellen, Fauci and all of our other “leaders” in Washington are absolutely clueless.

And if you actually believe that they can navigate us out of this mess, you are clueless too.

The blind are leading the blind, and most Americans don’t even realize that they are leading us right into a horrifying economic abyss.

This Is Going To Be A REALLY “Dark Winter” For Both America And The Entire Planet

Enjoy the times that you are able to spend with family and friends now, because things are starting to get really crazy out there. The official beginning of winter is upon us, and just in time there is a frightening new COVID variant that is scaring the living daylights out of politicians all over the planet. Of course those deeply frightened politicians are going to respond to this new threat just like they have responded to every other chapter of this crisis so far. They are going to spend even more money, they are going to relentlessly promote the injections that the big pharmaceutical companies are pushing, and they are going to impose more absurd authoritarian measures. Needless to say, that means that this is going to be a really bad winter for the entire globe.

On Monday, the Biden administration stunned people all over the country when it promised a “winter of severe illness and death” for those that have declined to get vaccinated. The following comes from the official White House website…

For the unvaccinated, you’re looking at a winter of severe illness and death for yourselves, your families, and the hospitals you may soon overwhelm.

So, our message to every American is clear: There is action you can take to protect yourself and your family. Wear a mask in public indoor settings. Get vaccinated, get your kids vaccinated, and get a booster shot when you’re eligible.

Have we ever seen such a bizarre statement come out of the White House?

Those words are seething with contempt for those that have refused to do what Biden wants them to do.

Shortly after this statement was released, critics of Biden started firing back. For example, this is what Tim Murtaugh had to say on Twitter…

Going into the year of the midterm elections, the Biden White House has settled on its slogan.

“A winter of severe illness and death.”

Sounds like a winner.

Actually, it is quite likely that we will see a tremendous amount of illness and death this winter, but it won’t be in the places that Biden is expecting.

Just look at what is happening in New York City. Even though the vast majority of the city is “fully vaccinated”, New York has broken its single day case record for four days in a row…

New York state’s vaccinated health commissioner tested positive for COVID-19 via a rapid test, marking yet another breakthrough case as the Big Apple battles a record-breaking viral surge, Gov. Kathy Hochul said Monday as she acknowledged the open seat next to her. Dr. Mary T. Bassett has also gotten her booster, she added.

News of the positive test for the state’s leading health official came the same day the Empire State broke its own single-day pandemic case record for a fourth straight day, with Hochul reporting nearly 23,400 new cases overnight. The lion’s share of those infections come from New York City, where over 15,000 people tested positive, up nearly 50% since Friday.

As Omicron spreads very rapidly in New York and elsewhere, spooked investors are starting to dump their stocks. On Monday, the Dow was down another 433 points…

U.S. stocks slid Monday, continuing last week’s losses, as the rapid spread of the omicron variant continues to worry investors who fear the new surge could hamper economic growth.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 433 points, or 1.23%, while the S&P 500 index and Nasdaq Composite index declined 1.14% and 1.24%, respectively. At session lows, the Dow was down 699.94 points, or 1.98%.

If fear of Omicron continues to grow, that will be very bad news for the financial markets.

Meanwhile, Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo is warning that Omicron could make the worst supply chain crisis in U.S. history even worse…

Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo is concerned the Omicron coronavirus variant will exacerbate pressure on the already stressed-out global supply chain.

“It’s way too soon to tell. But I do worry, because we know people are afraid to go to work,” Raimondo told CNN during an interview at her Washington office.

And it appears that a fresh wave of inflation is now upon us.

Lumber prices were on the cutting edge of the last wave, and they are starting to go absolutely nuts once again…

Futures for January delivery ended Friday at $1,089.10 per thousand board feet, twice the price for a prompt delivery in mid-November.

Cash prices are way up as well. Pricing service Random Lengths said that its framing composite index, which tracks on-the-spot sales, has jumped 65% since October, to $915. A $129 gain this week was the biggest on record, eclipsing a $124 jump in May, when lumber prices crested at all-time highs.

In the midst of such a highly inflationary environment, the Democrats wanted to pass the “Build Back Better bill” and spend another gigantic mountain of money.

Thankfully, Senator Joe Manchin has chosen to vote against this ridiculous bill, and that is going to prevent it from getting through Congress.

When asked about his vote, this is how he responded…

Manchin said, “I’ve done everything possible. And you know my concerns I had, and I still have these concerns and where I’m at right now, the inflation but I was concerned about, it’s not transitory, it’s real, it’s harming every West Virginian, making it difficult for them to continue to go to their jobs. The cost of gasoline, the cost of groceries, the cost of utility bills, all of these things are hitting in every aspect of their life.”

He added, “If I can’t go home and explain it to the people of West Virginia, I can’t vote for it. I cannot vote to continue with this piece of legislation. I just can’t. I’ve tried everything possible. I can’t get there.”

I never thought that I would be thankful for Joe Manchin, and I hope that he continues to maintain his courageous stand.

But of course other governments all over the globe continue to recklessly borrow and spend money, and that is likely to accelerate in 2022.

We really are on the verge of a historic global economic nightmare, and I really like how Egon von Greyerz recently summarized what is about to hit us…

The moral message is that when chaos hits, the destruction will affect everyone, rich and poor, young and old. No one will escape by power or devotion.

The financial, economic and moral devastation which is about to hit the world will for more than 99.5% of the people will come out of the blue like a flash from a clear sky.

For most people the coming events will thus be like the definition of the word CHAOS: “A state of total confusion and disorder”…

Most people blindly trusted that our leaders knew what they were doing.

But they didn’t, and now we are heading into a time of extreme bitterness for the entire planet.

If we would have made much different choices, things could have turned out much differently.

Unfortunately, now we will have to live with the consequences of our decisions, and they will be very painful indeed.

Is Joe Biden About To Impose Destructive New Restrictions On The U.S. Economy In Order To Fight Omicron?

It seems like it was just yesterday that we were told that a new variant called “Omicron” had been discovered in southern Africa. Now it is being reported that Omicron is suddenly spreading like wildfire all over North America and Europe, and we are being told that a very “dark winter” is ahead of us. Of course whenever case numbers start rising again, the Biden administration feels as though it must do something. So on Tuesday, Joe Biden is going to deliver another “major address” to the nation. Unfortunately, many are anticipating that he may introduce more destructive restrictions which could significantly damage the U.S. economy as we head into 2022.

When it comes to the pandemic, we all know that Biden listens to the “scientists”, and right now the “scientists” are scaring the living daylights out of the general public.

For example, over the weekend Dr. Television warned that Omicron will soon put severe stress on hospital systems all across America…

Dr. Anthony Fauci warned Sunday that the next few weeks will put severe stress on hospital systems as the omicron variant of the coronavirus is “raging around the world.”

Fauci, President Joe Biden’s chief medical adviser, said on NBC’s “Meet the Press” that there is no doubt about the omicron variant’s “extraordinary capability” for transmission. Although the latest mutation appears to cause less severe symptoms in vaccinated people, Fauci warned that its transmissibility counteracts the mildness of the cases.

And the director of the NIH has suggested that the U.S. could soon see a million cases a day…

Outgoing National Institutes of Health (NIH) director Dr. Francis Collins says the US could see one million COVID-19 cases per day as new shapeshifting variants take hold and cases snowball.

Collins’ forecast comes as the highly-contagious Omicron iteration spreads like wildfire throughout the nation and the Delta variant continues to sicken masses of people ahead of the winter holidays.

It is completely and utterly irresponsible for Collins to say something like that, and all such similar projections have been totally inaccurate in the past.

But Joe Biden believes these guys, and so even though there has only been one documented death from Omicron anywhere in the world, Biden appears poised to take this crisis to an entirely new level…

President Joe Biden will deliver a speech Tuesday to address the omicron variant and unveil new steps the administration is taking to help communities in need of assistance, a White House official told NBC News on Saturday.

Biden is expected to go beyond his already unveiled “winter plan” with additional measures while “issuing a stark warning of what the winter will look like for Americans that choose to remain unvaccinated,” the official said.

Right now, we don’t know exactly what those “new steps” will look like, but there is a lot of speculation that they could include new mandates and/or restrictions.

Unfortunately for Biden, he is deeply failing as a leader, and at this point the vast majority of Americans simply do not trust him…

According to the CNN poll conducted by SSRS, 66 percent of Americans said they doubted whether Biden was “a leader you can trust,” a number that included 92 percent of Republicans, 75 percent of independents and 36 percent of Democrats.

Just about everything that Biden has done during his time in the White House has turned out badly, and a whole lot of people out there are going to be really angry if he decides to do even more to mess up our economy.

Thanks to our “leaders” in Washington, inflation is completely out of control and we are now facing the worst supply chain crisis in our entire history.

You know your iPhone comes from China. Did you know that the specialized glass used in the iPhone comes from South Korea? Did you know the semiconductors in the iPhone come from Taiwan? That the intellectual property and design of the iPhone are from California?

The iPhone includes flash storage from Japan, gyroscopes from Germany, audio amplifiers, battery chargers, display port multiplexers, batteries, cameras and hundreds of other advanced parts.

In total, Apple works with suppliers in 43 countries on six continents to source the materials and parts that go into an iPhone. That’s a quick overview of the iPhone supply chain. Of course, every supplier in that supply chain has its own supply chain of sources and processes. Again, supply chains are immensely complex.

Our way of life depends on the smooth operation of thousands upon thousands of immensely complex supply chains. Unfortunately, restrictions and mandates that have been implemented by politicians all over the planet have caused massive problems for those supply chains, and now politicians all over the planet are imposing even more restrictions and mandates to combat the Omicron variant.

Because of this insanity, it looks like 2022 is going to be a very rough year for the global economy.

Of course all of the mandates and restrictions have also taken a great toll on our mental health…

As Americans head into a third year of pandemic living, therapists around the country are finding themselves on the front lines of a mental health crisis. Social workers, psychologists and counselors from every state say they can’t keep up with an unrelenting demand for their services, and many must turn away patients — including children — who are desperate for support.

“All the therapists I know have experienced a demand for therapy that is like nothing they have experienced before,” said Tom Lachiusa, a licensed clinical social worker in Longmeadow, Mass. “Every available time slot I can offer is filled.”

Ultimately, many would argue that the global response to the pandemic has been far more destructive than the virus itself.

And if we can’t handle a crisis of this magnitude, how are we possibly going to be able to handle something far more severe?

COVID has filled our leaders with great fear, and being fearful is never a way to handle a crisis.

Now it appears that fear is about to push Biden to make even more mistakes, and that is extremely unfortunate.

7 Signs That War With Russia Just Got Even Closer

In this article I am going to write about something that the vast majority of the U.S. population couldn’t care less about. Sadly, most Americans simply do not care about Ukraine, Russia’s military preparations for war, or pretty much anything else that is happening on the other side of the globe. But over in Russia, things are completely different. There is constant talk about the potential for war with the west, and there is a lot of pessimism that it will be able to be avoided.

To the Russians, this really is the biggest crisis with the west since the Cuban missile crisis of the 1960s. The Russians have repeatedly warned that western missiles must not be stationed in Ukraine, and they have repeatedly warned that Ukraine must not become a member of NATO.

They are using the same rationale that we used during the Cuban missile crisis. We didn’t want the Russians to have missiles in Cuba that could potentially hit our major cities within just a matter of a few minutes, and likewise the Russians don’t want missiles in Ukraine that could potentially hit their major cities within just a matter of a few minutes.

The only way that Vladimir Putin will ever authorize an invasion of Ukraine is if one of his strategic “red lines” is crossed.

But instead of easing tensions and trying to talk things out, western leaders just keep provoking Russia.

If they keep on recklessly poking the bear, at some point a mistake will be made and we will have a war that nobody wants. The following are 7 signs that war with Russia just got even closer…

#1 Despite the fact that Vladimir Putin has said that such a move would cross one of his “red lines”, Ukraine was just told that it will eventually be allowed to join NATO…

Facing a building threat from Russia, Ukraine’s president sought security guarantees from NATO’s chief in a meeting on Thursday and came away with a renewed commitment that his country could eventually join the military alliance despite stiff objections from its Russian neighbors.

#2 Ukraine has shocked the world by opening up the bomb shelters in Kiev…

Ukraine has opened bomb shelters in the capital of the nation as fears of a Russian invasion soar. On Wednesday a Ukrainian minister and former top spy warned the conflict could spread globally.

#3 ABC’s Martha Raddatz is reporting that after Joe Biden’s recent call with Vladimir Putin, the Russians moved an additional 10,000 troops to the border with Ukraine.

#4 The EU is warning of “massive costs for Russia” if there is any more “aggression” toward Ukraine…

“At this point in time, Russia is choosing an aggressive posture vis-à-vis its neighbors. And as the European Union and its G-7 partners have made very clear, further aggressive acts against Ukraine will have massive costs for Russia,” European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said Wednesday.

#5 Banks in Belarus are preparing to switch to Russia’s version of SWIFT due to imminent sanctions by the west…

Belarusian banks are preparing for tougher Western sanctions by signing up to Russia’s alternative to the SWIFT, the international financial messaging network that underpins the global banking system, Russia’s Moskovsky Komsomolets tabloid has reported.

Russia’s System for Transfer of Financial Messages (SPFS) has more than 400 domestic users — practically every licensed Russian lender — but is used by only 38 banks from nine other countries. Developed in 2014, SPFS is designed to keep banking transactions in the event of Western sanctions disconnecting Russia from SWIFT.

#6 It is being reported that Russia “has begun to move Tor short-range surface-to-air missile systems to the border area with Ukraine.”

#7 A bipartisan group of U.S. Senators wants to formally designate Russia as a “terrorist state”. Needless to say, the Russians are not happy about this…

On top of that – as if all that were not incendiary enough – the US Senators want to designate Russia a “terrorist state” if its “forces further invade Ukraine”. Such a designation of a nuclear superpower is unprecedented. It is an insane move that would make diplomacy and negotiation all but impossible. It’s tantamount to declaring war.

We should want to try to find a way to have peace with Russia, but we just keep on moving closer to war.

And when war eventually comes, it may be global.

Most Americans don’t realize this, but Russia and China just announced a brand new “security alliance”…

On Wednesday it was announced that Russia and China had agreed to terms on a security alliance.

President Xi said regarding the deal: “At present, certain international forces under the guise of ‘democracy’ and ‘human rights’ are interfering in the internal affairs of China and Russia and brutally trampling on international law and recognised norms of international relations.”

So could the U.S. find itself fighting both Russia and China at the same time someday?

Yes, that is entirely possible.

Meanwhile, European powers are warning that talks to revive the Iranian nuclear deal “are rapidly reaching the end of the road”…

A joint statement from Britain, France and Germany issued on Tuesday said “we are rapidly reaching the end of the road” to save the 2015 Iran nuclear deal after the Iranian side accused the West of stoking a “blame game” atmosphere.

“Iran’s continued nuclear escalation means that we are rapidly reaching the end of the road,” France’s ambassador to the United Nations, Nicolas de Riviere, announced. He added that Iran’s consistently blowing past development and uranium enrichment limits all while blaming the US for pulling out of the deal means “We are nearing the point where Iran’s escalation of its nuclear program will have completely hollowed out the JCPOA.”

The Israelis have already been practicing for an attack on Iran, and if peace talks collapse it will make a conflict between Israel and Iran inevitable.

Of course a new war in the Middle East would give the Biden administration a way to distract us from our growing internal troubles. At this point, only 26 percent of Americans believe that the country is headed in the right direction…

A new Economist/YouGov Poll shows almost 75% of Americans are either unsure or believe the country is headed in the wrong direction. Only 26% think things are going well.

Worse, just 4% believe the economy is “excellent.”

Personally, I do not believe that we will see a major war erupt before the end of 2021.

But a new year is just weeks away, and I have such a bad feeling about 2022.

Over the past couple of years we have been hit with one thing after another, and “the perfect storm” that is now upon us threatens to go to an entirely new level next year.

A New Mystery Disease Is Killing “Scores Of People” In South Sudan

The World Health Organization has sent a “rapid response team” into South Sudan to investigate a mysterious new illness that is killing people in large numbers. At this point, about the only thing that we know about this deadly disease is that it is “unidentified”. I scoured all of the global news reports that I could find, and none of them are telling us specifically how these people are dying. I am going to keep trying to find out more. This outbreak may turn out to be nothing, but the past couple of years have shown us that sometimes a small outbreak can sweep across the entire planet very rapidly. So we should keep a close eye on South Sudan until officials can tell us for certain that there is no cause for concern.

In their article about this outbreak, the Daily Mail stated that this illness “had killed scores of people in the northern town of Fangak”…

A World Health Organization (WHO) taskforce has been sent to South Sudan to investigate an unidentified illness which has killed 89 people.

The country’s ministry of health reported that an unknown disease had killed scores of people in the northern town of Fangak in Jonglei state.

The WHO is telling us that at least 89 people have died, but the true number could potentially far higher.

Getting accurate information out of this part of South Sudan is difficult because of the horrific flooding that has occurred. WHO officials had to take a helicopter just to reach Fangak. This is the third year in a row in which flooding has absolutely devastated South Sudan, and this has put authorities on alert for outbreaks of “waterborne diseases and malaria”…

South Sudan has been staring at a catastrophic humanitarian crisis as extreme floods hit the country for the third consecutive year.

Humanitarian agencies warned that the situation was threatening to cause an outbreak of waterborne diseases and malaria, and lead to food insecurity and malnutrition.

And in the nearby state of Unity, it is true that officials have seen an increase in diseases such as malaria…

In the bordering state of Unity, severe floods have increased the spread of diseases such as Malaria and caused malnutrition in children due to food shortages, Lam Tungwar Kueigwong, the state’s Minister of Land, Housing and Public Utilities, said.

But apparently the mystery illness in Fangak is not malaria, and all of the tests that have been taken so far have ruled out cholera…

Local health officials in Fangak said initial samples from the sick returned negative results for cholera.

So why would they test for cholera?

That is a very good question.

I went over to the official CDC website, and this is what they have to say about cholera…

Cholera is an acute, diarrheal illness caused by infection of the intestine with the toxigenic bacterium Vibrio cholerae serogroup O1 or O139. An estimated 2.9 million cases and 95,000 deaths occur each year around the world. The infection is often mild or without symptoms, but can be severe. Approximately 1 in 10 people who get sick with cholera will develop severe symptoms such as watery diarrhea, vomiting, and leg cramps. In these people, rapid loss of body fluids leads to dehydration and shock. Without treatment, death can occur within hours.

Is there something about the way that these people are dying that caused them to suspect that cholera might be spreading?

Hopefully we will get more information about the specific symptoms of this new mystery disease within the next 24 hours.

I just feel so bad for the people of South Sudan. They have been through so much war, the economy is in a state of shambles, and now they are suffering through “the worst flooding in almost 60 years”.

If you are safe and warm, you should count your blessings, because there are people on the other side of the globe that are literally living through a nightmare on a daily basis.

At this point, almost the entire population of South Sudan relies on various aid groups and the United Nations for even their most basic needs…

Nearly all the population depends on international food aid, and most basic services such as health and education are provided by the United Nations agencies and aid groups.

At this hour, we do not know if this outbreak in South Sudan will turn into something major.

And the truth is that the vast majority of local outbreaks do not turn into global pandemics.

But we have been repeatedly warned that “the next pandemic” is coming, and so I am always on alert for any new “mystery disease” that suddenly pops up.

If you think that COVID is the worst pandemic that could happen to us, then you don’t know your history very well.

According to History.com, the Black Plague killed approximately a third of the entire population of Europe…

The Black Death was a devastating global epidemic of bubonic plague that struck Europe and Asia in the mid-1300s. The plague arrived in Europe in October 1347, when 12 ships from the Black Sea docked at the Sicilian port of Messina. People gathered on the docks were met with a horrifying surprise: Most sailors aboard the ships were dead, and those still alive were gravely ill and covered in black boils that oozed blood and pus. Sicilian authorities hastily ordered the fleet of “death ships” out of the harbor, but it was too late: Over the next five years, the Black Death would kill more than 20 million people in Europe—almost one-third of the continent’s population.

It is just a matter of time before something far worse than COVID comes along.

A few months ago, Bill Gates specifically warned that “we aren’t ready” for the next pandemic, and he seems entirely convinced that we will soon see another.

Other “health experts” have also made similar ominous projections.

Of course COVID is not going to go away any time soon either, and politicians all over the planet will continue to use it to advance their insidious agendas.

There Are 2 More Statues At UN Headquarters In New York Which Appear To Have A Link To The Book Of Revelation

All throughout history, statues have had deep significance to those that put them up. In some cases, statues were erected to commemorate a conquest or a pivotal battle. In other cases, they were set up to honor leaders of historical importance. But even more often throughout history, statues have been constructed for spiritual reasons. In the western world, the worship of statues is very rare today, but the global elite are still obsessed with decorating key landmarks with “art” that has very special significance to those that are “in the know”. It is not just a coincidence that capital cities all over the planet are adorned by extremely bizarre statues. Every single one of those statues has a meaning, and the vast majority of the population is totally oblivious to what is really being communicated.

Last week, I posted an article about a really weird statue that was just put up right outside UN headquarters in New York. The giant statue is called “The Guardian of International Peace and Security”, and the UN is telling us that it is a “fusion” of a jaguar and an eagle.

But is that the real story?

As I pointed out in my previous article, this new statue is reminding Christians all over the globe of the “beast” described in Revelation chapter 13, and of course the “beast” of Revelation chapter 13 represents the Antichrist.

So did someone at the UN actually intend to set out a “welcome mat” for the Antichrist by authorizing the display of this truly bizarre amalgamation of creatures?

I thought that the story was done once I published that article, but it turns out that there is more.

One of my eagle-eyed readers pointed out that in some of the videos you can actually see another statue of a mysterious figure riding a horse.

I did some research, and I discovered that the other statue entitled “Peace Monument” was created by Croatian sculptor Antun Augustinčić in 1954. According to the UN, this is what the statue signifies…

Carrying an olive branch in one hand and a globe in the other, with a cloak fluttering on her back and on a horse in a stance suggesting a powerful forward movement, She is symbolically leading the Nations of the World towards Peace.

The fact that the figure riding the horse has an olive branch for an arm seems to indicate that peace is being offered, and the fact that she is holding a globe in her hand seems to indicate that she has control of the entire planet.

So what is the message that is being communicated here? Are we supposed to understand that we will finally have global peace if we will just hand full control over to a world government headed by the United Nations?

When I first saw this statue, I was immediately reminded of the rider on the white horse in Revelation chapter 2…

And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

The fact that the rider in Revelation chapter 2 seems to be male and the rider on the “Peace Monument” is female would appear to rule out any link at first glance.

However, I looked up Revelation 6:2 in the original Greek, and it is not clear whether the rider is male or female. Interpreters have always assumed that the rider must be male, and so male pronouns have always been used when translating that verse into English.

That certainly puts a different spin on things, doesn’t it?

Of course many believers are anticipating that the breaking of the first seal will be one of the events that initiates the 7 year apocalypse that was detailed by the Apostle John in the Book of Revelation.

Could it be possible that this statue which has been sitting outside UN headquarters in New York all this time is actually foreshadowing that moment?

If what I have shared already is not weird enough, there is one more statue at the United Nations that merits our attention.

It is called “Anyanwu”, and it was presented to the United Nations by Nigerian artist Ben Enwonwu in 1966.

In this case, it is very clear that “Anyanwu” has a very deep spiritual meaning. The following comes from Wikipedia…

The sculpture is a representation of the female Igbo mythological figure and earth goddess Ani. The piece is emblematic of the sculptural traditions of the Igbo people and of the art of Benin.^[1] The piece references the saluting of the rising sun, in veneration of the supreme Igbo deity Chukwu. Ani rises out of the ground to salute the sun and arches toward the sky. She wears a headdress and jewellery made of coral; the traditional regalia of the Edo people.^[2] Her head is modelled after an Edo portrait sculpture of a Queen Mother.^[3] She is adorned with matching hoops bracelets on her wrists.^[3]

In another article on Wikipedia, it is made clear that “Chukwu” is actually a sun god that is represented by our physical sun…

According to the Igbo people, who are the majority in the southeastern region of Nigeria today, Chineke is the creator of the universe and everything good in it along with rain, trees, and other plants. Chukwu is a supreme deity represented by the sun.

Nimrod of ancient Babylon is the original source of all of the sun god worship that eventually spread all over the globe. Unfortunately, the influence of sun god worship can still be seen in almost every major religion today.

And the Antichrist will ultimately be the fulfillment of what so many sun god worshippers have been looking forward to all throughout history. He will be “the capstone on the pyramid” and the great leader that occultists have been looking forward to for so many generations.

So once again, this appears to be yet another piece of art at the United Nations that we can link to the Antichrist and the Book of Revelation.

If you think that I am making too much out of all of this, that is okay.

In the end, these statues aren’t going to be what really matters.

What is really going to matter is that we truly are moving toward the times described in the Book of Revelation, and that means that all of our lives are about to be turned completely upside down.

It’s Like “The Purge”: Murder Records Are Being Shattered All Over America, And Next Year Could Be Even Worse

It is often said that life imitates art, and these days that is particularly true on the mean streets of our major cities. Violent criminals just keep getting more brazen, and murder rates are soaring all over the nation. As you will see below, one official in Los Angeles is actually comparing what is now happening to a horror movie that came out a number of years ago called “The Purge”. But in that movie, violent criminals only had one night each year to run wild. Unfortunately, in America today they are running wild every single night.

Perhaps some of you think that I am exaggerating, and so let’s look at some hard numbers.

At this point, there are 12 large U.S. cities that have already broken their all-time murder records for an entire year…

At least 12 major U.S. cities have broken annual homicide records in 2021 — and there’s still three weeks to go in the year.

Of the dozen cities that have already surpassed the grim milestones for killings, five topped records that were set or tied just last year.

“It’s terrible to every morning get up and have to go look at the numbers and then look at the news and see the stories. It’s just crazy. It’s just crazy and this needs to stop,” Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney said after his city surpassed its annual homicide record of 500, which stood since 1990.

The 12 cities that have already established brand new records in 2021 are Philadelphia, St. Paul, Portland, Indianapolis, Tucson, Louisville, Toledo, Baton Rouge, Austin, Columbus, Rochester and Albuquerque.

And with more than half of December still remaining, more cities will be joining that list by the time the year is finally over.

In Los Angeles, violent crime numbers are going up so fast that it is difficult to believe that the figures are actually real…

The LAPD reports that in the first 24 weeks of 2021, reports of shots fired were up 48 percent. The number of people wounded by gun violence was up 50 percent and homicides were up 26 percent.

The environment in the city has completely changed. During a recent television interview, the head of the LA Police Protective League warned tourists not to come to his city this holiday season…

“My message to anyone thinking about coming to Los Angeles, especially during the holiday season, is don’t,” Jamie McBride, the head of the LA Police Protective League, the union representing LAPD officers, said in a television interview.

What a thing to say.

McBride went on to compare current conditions in Los Angeles to “The Purge”…

“We can’t guarantee your safety. It is really, really out of control. I said it to people before, it’s like that movie ‘Purge,’ you know, instead of 24 hours to commit your crime, these people have 365 days days to commit whatever they want,” McBride said.

Wow.

This isn’t some random guy on the Internet saying this.

This is the head of the union that represents police officers in Los Angeles.

Crime is so out of control in L.A. that even people that don’t like guns are arming themselves. The following comes from a New York Post article entitled “Beverly Hills residents arming themselves with guns in wake of violence”…

“I’ve always been anti-gun,” said Debbie Mizrahie of Beverly Hills. “But I am right now in the process of getting myself shooting lessons because I now understand that there may be a need for me to know how to defend myself and my family. We’re living in fear.”

Of course things aren’t much different in northern California.

In fact, an atmosphere of “lawlessness” is seemingly everywhere in San Francisco at this point…

The pandemic emptied parts of San Francisco and highlighted some of its drawbacks: human and dog feces smeared across sidewalks, home and vehicle break-ins, overflowing trash cans, and a laissez-faire approach by officials to brazen drug dealing. Parents despaired as public schools stayed closed for most of last year as nearby districts welcomed children back to the classroom.

Meanwhile, residents and visitors scurry past scenes of lawlessness and squalor. Just steps from the Opera House and Symphony Hall, drug dealers carry translucent bags filled with crystal-like rocks or stand outside the public library’s main branch, flashing wads of cash while peddling heroin and methamphetamine.

It should come as no surprise to learn that the number of people that died from drug overdoses in San Francisco last year was nearly three times as high as the number that died from COVID.

During normal times, we rely on the police to protect us from lawless criminals, but in America today the police are under siege.

I really like how Heather Mac Donald recently made this point…

“I can tell you across the country in the United States today, when cops get out of their car to make an inquiry, to question somebody who’s acting like he’s pulling up his gun out of his waistband, to go into a drug set, they find themselves routinely surrounded by hostile jeering crowds throwing things at them,” she said. “They’re assaulted.”

“This is what it’s like to be a cop in America today,” she added.

Every single day, police officers put their lives on the line when they go to work.

314 police officers have been shot so far in 2021, and the final number for this year will inevitably be even higher.

Meanwhile, the mainstream media and many groups on the left continue to relentlessly demonize the police, and this is driving good people out of the profession in record numbers…

A workforce survey released in June by the Police Executive Research Forum found the retirement rate in police departments nationwide jumped 45% over 2020 and 2021. And another 18% of officers resigned, the survey found, a development which coincided with nationwide social justice protests and calls to defund law enforcement agencies following the death of George Floyd at the hands of Minneapolis police officers.

As the trends that I have discussed in this article continue to escalate, it is likely that 2022 will be even worse.

But before I end this article, I want to make a very important point.

The worst criminals in America are not the violent thugs in our streets.

Often, the worst criminals dress in suits and walk the halls of power. For example, just check out what a CNN producer was just charged with doing…

The CNN producer charged with luring a mother and her nine-year-old daughter to a rental home in Vermont for ‘sexual subservience’ training also told someone else he’d ‘trained’ girls as young as seven.

John Griffin, a producer on CNN’s New Day and worked for Chris Cuomo, was charged last week by federal prosecutors in Vermont who say he paid for sex with underage girls, including one whose mother he convinced into letting her visit him.

Needless to say, his case in not an isolated incident.

In all my years, I have never seen such utter lawlessness in America.

And if you have read my most recent book, then you know that I believe that things are going to be getting a lot worse.

Just about every form of evil that you can possibly imagine is exploding in our society, and our country has now become unrecognizable.

Decades of incredibly bad decisions have brought us to this point, and the years ahead are going to be more chaotic than most people would dare to imagine.

The Horrifying Inflation Crisis That You Were Warned About Is Here

All of a sudden, inflation is one of the hottest political issues in America. Most people seem surprised that inflation has gotten so wildly out of control, but the truth is that this should not be a surprise to any of us. We have been warned for years that this was coming. Whenever our corrupt politicians in Washington authorized trillions more in spending that we couldn’t afford, we were warned that this would eventually cause extremely painful inflation. But it didn’t happen immediately, and so most Americans didn’t take the warnings seriously. And as the “experts” at the Federal Reserve kept pumping trillions of fresh dollars into our financial system, we were warned that there would eventually be severe consequences. But those consequences did not arrive immediately, and so most Americans didn’t take the warnings seriously. But now a day of reckoning has arrived, and conditions are only going to get worse from this point forward.

On Friday, the Labor Department informed us that the inflation rate is rising at the fastest pace that we have seen since 1982…

Inflation accelerated at its fastest pace since 1982 in November, the Labor Department said Friday, putting pressure on the economic recovery and raising the stakes for the Federal Reserve.

The consumer price index, which measures the cost of a wide-ranging basket of goods and services, rose 0.8% for the month, good for a 6.8% pace on a year over year basis and the fastest rate since June 1982.

Things sure have changed since 1982.

Back then, the average price of a new vehicle was $7,983 and the average price of a new house was just $82,200.

And the way that the inflation rate has been calculated has changed dramatically since then as well. In fact, the way it is calculated has literally been changed more than two dozen times since 1980, and every time the goal was to make it look even lower.

As John Williams of shadowstats.com has pointed out, if the annual rate of inflation was still calculated the way it was back in 1980, it would be about 15 percent right now.

But the formula was certainly not perfect back then either.

During one of his recent shows, Tucker Carlson explained that the official rate of inflation has become completely divorced from the extremely aggressive price increases that U.S. consumers are wrestling with on a daily basis…

In fact, there’s only one accurate way to measure inflation, and somehow the Fed has not yet figured this out. Here it is: You ask yourself, what does it cost you to live in this country compared to what it cost you a year ago? It’s not complicated. Do the math, and you will see that the actual number, the rise in inflation is not even close to the seven percent that Washington is claiming.

In the last year, the price of a used car, for example, is going up by more than 30%. Beef prices have risen by 21%. Crude oil up 55%. Dimensional lumber, 35%. Wheat, 37%. Sugar, 33%. Corn, 39%. Palm Oil, 43%. Do you drink coffee in the morning, ever? Oh, too bad. The price of coffee has risen 108% in the last year. Do you like breakfast cereal? Oh, sorry. Oats are up 114%.

You know what?

He’s right.

Tucker Carlson is such a gifted communicator, and he hit this one out of the ballpark.

Later on in that same segment, he played clips from various reporters talking about painful price increases that we are seeing all around the nation…

REPORTER: Americans are seeing the effects of inflation in their budgets. General Mills even announced they’re raising the prices of their cereals by up to 20%.

REPORTER: The grand total for our Thanksgiving dinner was $51.25. More than 20% over last year’s list

REPORTER: The Dollar Tree is hiking prices from $1 to $1.25 for most items.

REPORTER: If you’re lucky enough to find ammo, you’ll pay more for it

MAN AT THE GUN RANGE: You’ll see this on the store shelf for $0.65 a round. It would normally be around low $0.20 a round.

If you have been waiting for “the coming inflation crisis”, you can stop waiting because it is already here.

Yes, wages have been going up too, but not nearly as fast as the cost of living.

Needless to say, this is putting a tremendous amount of stress on average Americans…

Over the past 12 months, the costs paid by a typical American family have surged by roughly $4,000, according to calculations by Jason Furman, a Harvard economist and former Obama White House aide.

Though Americans’ overall income has also increased since the pandemic, a new poll found that far more people are noticing higher inflation than higher wages. Two-thirds say their household costs have risen since the pandemic, compared with only about a quarter who say their incomes have increased, according to the poll by The Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research.

If you are angry about inflation, you are definitely not alone.

All over America, people are deeply frustrated with our leaders for creating so much inflation, and Americans now have a new “number one concern” for the very first time since the pandemic started…

A CNBC All-America Economic survey released on Friday found that inflation has “firmly eclipsed” coronavirus as the No. 1 concern.

Nearly half of Americans say that inflation has caused them “financial hardship,” according to a Gallup poll released earlier this month.

A Yahoo News/YouGov survey released last month said that 77% of Americans say inflation has personally affected them. A clear majority — 57% — blame President Joe Biden for the high prices caused by inflation.

So what are our politicians in Washington planning to do to get us out of this mess?

Well, the Biden administration wants to spend trillions more.

They just can’t stop.

And every time a new crisis suddenly erupts, their “solution” is going to be to spend even more money.

So this is it.

The endgame has arrived, and a whole lot more inflation is on the horizon.

If the American people wanted to avoid this mess, they should have listened to the warnings a long time ago when we still had an opportunity to turn the ship in another direction.
