Apostate Evangelicals Are Poised To Become The Deciding Factor In A Hillary Clinton Election Victory

Share on FacebookTweet about this on TwitterPin on PinterestShare on Google+Share on LinkedInShare on StumbleUponEmail this to someone

crowd-concert-music-public-domainIf you look at the numbers, there is no way that Hillary Clinton could possibly win the election without the support of a substantial percentage of evangelical Christian voters.  In fact, if evangelical Christians stuck together they could pretty much elect whoever they want as president.  According to the Pew Research Center, 35 percent of all adults in the United States identify themselves as “evangelical” or “born again”, and it has been estimated that there are  94 million evangelical Christian adults in this country.  If evangelical Christians acted as a single voting block they could determine the outcome of every single presidential election.  Unfortunately, that simply is not going to happen.

A survey that was recently conducted by LifeWay Research found that only 45 percent of Christian evangelicals plan to vote for Donald Trump and 31 percent of Christian evangelicals plan to vote for Hillary Clinton.

That same survey discovered that moral issues are becoming increasingly unimportant to evangelical voters…

Overall, the economy is the top concern for Americans regardless of religious affiliation (30%). National security (17%) and personal character (17%) also are significant issues. Supreme Court nominees (10%), immigration (5%), religious freedom (2%), and abortion (1%) are less important.

“For churchgoers and those with evangelical beliefs, their pocketbook and personal safety are paramount,” said McConnell. “Moral issues aren’t a priority for many of them.”

I don’t know how in the world abortion could come in at only 1 percent.  Even if you add “Supreme Court nominees” and abortion together, you still only get a total of 11 percent.

This just shows that evangelicals in America have their priorities way out of order.

And unfortunately for Donald Trump, he is getting a lot less support from evangelicals than other recent presidential candidates received.  According to the New York Times, previous candidates have generally received about 80 percent support from white evangelical voters, but Donald Trump is only getting about 65 to 70 percent support, and his numbers among non-white evangelicals are absolutely dismal.

If you are an evangelical Christian and you have reservations about Donald Trump, I can respect that.  But there will be other names on the ballot and you do not have to vote for Hillary Clinton.  As I have said before, a vote for Hillary Clinton is an act of unmitigated wickedness.

Hillary Clinton has made support for abortion one of the central pillars of her long political career.  In fact, I don’t know if there is any politician in America that is more associated with abortion than Hillary Clinton.  Since Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973, more than 58 million babies have been murdered in the United States, and Hillary Clinton’s hands are drenched with their blood.

If you vote for Hillary Clinton, your hands will be drenched with their blood too.

Needless to say, I am absolutely horrified that so many prominent evangelical leaders have come out in support of Hillary Clinton during this election season.  For example, a group that represents over 6,000 Latino evangelical churches has just announced that they are endorsing Hillary Clinton

An organization representing more than 6,000 Latino evangelical churches in the U.S. is endorsing Hillary Clinton over Donald Trump.

In a statement Thursday, the group OPEN USA says Clinton has proven her willingness to engage in difficult conversations, listen to contrasting opinions and engage faith leaders.

Meanwhile, 75 evangelical leaders recently signed a petition on Change.org that strongly denounces Donald Trump…

We, undersigned evangelicals, simply will not tolerate the racial, religious, and gender bigotry that Donald Trump has consistently and deliberately fueled, no matter how else we choose to vote or not to vote.

One of the truly alarming trends that we have been seeing this election season is the number of prominent women in the evangelical movement that are openly rejecting Donald Trump and embracing Hillary Clinton.  The following is a short excerpt from a recent Washington Post article that examined this phenomenon…

When Jen Hatmaker speaks to stadiums full of Christian women, she regales them with stories about her five children and her garden back in Austin, Tex. — and stays away from politics. But recently she took to Facebook and Instagram to blast Donald J. Trump as a “national disgrace,” and remind her legions of followers that there are other names on the ballot in November.

And Christianity Today recently published an editorial from one of the top female evangelical leaders in the entire country in which she publicly endorsed Hillary Clinton.  According to Christianity Today, Deborah Fikes is “the former Permanent Representative to the United Nations for World Evangelical Alliance, which represents a constituency of 650 million with alliance offices in 129 countries.”  Fikes says that she stepped down from some of her leadership positions so that she could openly advocate for Clinton

My recent resignations from evangelical leadership positions to endorse Hillary Clinton speaks volumes of how important I believe it is that she is elected in November. The toxic tone and atmosphere that surrounds Mr. Trump and is fueled among his supporters has done irreparable damage to not only our country and the future of the GOP but also to the public witness of evangelicals in America who are seen as some of his biggest supporters.

There is no question in my mind or spirit that with the overwhelming challenges the next American president will face, Hillary Clinton is the most qualified person who has ever run for the Oval Office. On the issues of our national security, economic stability, seeing that healthcare reform continues to move forward, and tackling domestic challenges of poverty, inequality, and racism, we need her to be the person occupying this office.

A lot of these women seem to think that abortion shouldn’t be a major issue in this election, but that is like saying that the Holocaust shouldn’t have been a major issue in Nazi Germany.

Look, you don’t have to vote for Donald Trump or anyone else to be a good Christian.

But if you cast a vote for Hillary Clinton, you are casting a vote for the most evil, wicked and corrupt politician that this nation has possibly ever seen, and you are publicly endorsing the sinful positions that she is proud to stand for.

I know that I have been writing about the election a lot lately, but I feel that it is very important that I do so.  Most of the media coverage has focused on Donald Trump, but I feel that this election is far more about Hillary Clinton.  The things that her and her husband have done have been well documented, and if the American people willingly choose her they will know exactly what they are doing.

Unfortunately, not even Christians are standing united against the Clintons.  The political divide in the evangelical Christian world has grown so deep that it has even reached Liberty University.  The following comes from the Atlantic

That’s why it was such a big deal when, two weeks ago, a group of Liberty students put out a letter explaining why they’re standing against the Republican presidential nominee. Jerry Falwell Jr., who has run the school since his father died in 2007, announced his support for Donald Trump back in January, and he has since spoken on the candidate’s behalf in interviews and at events. “We are Liberty students who are disappointed with President Falwell’s endorsement and are tired of being associated with one of the worst presidential candidates in American history,” the students wrote. “Donald Trump does not represent our values and we want nothing to do with him.”

Thousands of people signed onto the letter, including, the students said, roughly 2,000 students or alumni with liberty.edu email addresses. Dustin Wahl and Alex Forbes, two of the letter’s authors, were featured on MSNBC and CNN. They said they received supportive emails and tweets from Russell Moore, the head of the political arm of the Southern Baptist Convention, and Erick Erickson, the conservative radio-show host.

And the support for Clinton is particularly strong among young adult evangelicals.  When I read the following paragraph on the website of the New York Times, I was absolutely astounded…

Kate Shellnutt, 30, the online editor of Christianity Today and editor of the CT Women section, said she had observed that “the millennial generation has a lot less patience for Trump.” Of the 33 influential millennial evangelicals she profiled for a cover story two years ago, she says she can now find only one, Lila Rose, who is pro-Trump, and even she has been publicly critical of him. Several have been using the hashtag #NeverTrump, Ms. Shellnutt said.

The frightening thing is that this election might be the last chance for evangelical Christians to shape the political direction of this nation, because the truth is that demographics are rapidly shifting, and this includes the demographics of the evangelical community

As Robert Jones has expertly documented in his recent book The End of White Christian America, the number of older, conservative, white male evangelicals is shrinking each year. Meanwhile, the number of younger evangelicals of all ethnic backgrounds — whose moral and political views extend far beyond positions on gay marriage and abortion — is on the rise.

If you follow my work regularly, then you already know that I have very little hope for the future of America.

But if Hillary Clinton is elected, there will be exactly zero hope.

If evangelical Christians stood united, they could stop her, but at this point it appears that is not going to happen.

      HILLARY…GOD’S CHOICE FOR PREIDENT! 😀

      • Paul Benson

        Unfortunately, you may be right that Hillary is God’s choice.
        But not because she will be good for this nation. Just the opposite. There is great oppression and tyranny in the future for this once great but now fallen nation. It does not matter which tyrant gets elected. The end result will be the same. We are under divine Judgment.
        Isn’t a snotblossom a mucus bubble a baby blows out its nostril when it has a cold?
        P.S. Jesus loves you, and gave his life to save you from the consequence of your rebellion. Give him a call, he would love to hear from you.

        • Richard T.

          Well, God gave each of us a choice and He would consent to the choice that we make. So it’s true to say that if American people choose Hillary, then God allowed it.

          • Paul Benson

            Hi Richard;

            I think it goes much deeper than what you are suggesting here.

            The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will. Proverbs 21:1
            God is able, and at times chooses to, harden or soften the heart of a ruler to reflect his favor or disfavor upon a nation.
            That is why I say it matters more who is on the Throne in Heaven than who sits in the Whitehouse.

          • Richard T.

            Yes. I believe the Bible is clear the God is in charge of all things. But I think there are two sides of this coin. For example, Pharaoh hardened his heart after the first few plagues. After that God strengthened him and hardened his heart and confirmed his own choice of going against God. So God did not violate his free will, but rather allowed Pharaoh to choose against God.

            And yes, I definitely agree that it matters more who sits on the Throne in Heaven than who sits in the White House. Well said!

          • sister soldier

            Amen Richard. You kept it digestible and in terms that are not deflective and that is correct no matter who wins this election, God not only allowed it but He designed it that way. God will not give His glory to another and He has as the old hymn says, “the whole world in His hands.” God bless you Brother.

          • Richard T.

            Thank you for your encouragement. May God bless and keep you, too!

        • Pastor Bob

          You are right on target sir! The thing that most saddens me is not that this nation is under the well earned judgment of God. Look at the condition of corporate so called “Christian” (if it feels good do it) churches today. Most are basking in various degrees of apostasy while they “enjoy” their government tax exempt 501c3 business corporation. I hate to put it like that, but this is accurate. This is absolutely disgusting. Why not just pick out the parts of God’s Word that are touchy, fuzzy warm feel good and just keep on doing whatever is pleasing to the flesh? Just ignore the parts of Scripture that makes one uncomfortable. No true repentance-it’s all good-according to some many. Mr. Bensen, this is what brings tears to my eyes- not so much that this nation is going to Hell in a handbasket, but that so many of her churches (which have become businesses just like Goodwill for example) are no longer teaching people the whole truth of the Word of God, for to do so would cause business to drop off-as most people do not want to repent of their sinful nature.
          The task before us sir is to teach TRUTH to a nation which is dieing, her people who have been deceived by Satan our enemy. To this sir I commit the remainder of my days before meeting Jesus face to face.

          • sister soldier

            Well said.

            Judgement begins at the house of God. It is identically the same in the country where we live. We have gone from church to church in vain. All apostate. All doing what is right in their eyes. It is horrendous. We have no fellowship but we have God and we believe that He will either come for us very soon or bring a true revival of REPENTANCE and one again we can go into the house of the Lord and sing His praises.

          Paul Benson, I like the way you insult someone referring to their name to a “mucus bubble” and then tell them “Jesus loves you”.

          Nice work. Jesus would be proud.

            Considering the sarcasm and irony expressed in the scores of comments she has posted I seriously think she would be more likely to chuckle at a little light-hearted humor than to run and grab a tissue. (All things to all men?)
            Also Jesus would never stoop to evidencing pride; as it is clearly shown to be a sin in the Scriptures.

    Thank you for this article Michael. Both my wife and myself are really distraught over this election. We can never ever vote for a democrat; for the exact same reason you mentioned. But I am full of concerns about Trump.. so much so, that we are both strongly considering not voting at all for Pres. Hillary would be a disaster of incalculable impact for our country. But there is just something about Trump that sets off our alarm bells just as badly.. He would be a coin toss.. possibly good, potentially a dictator.. and we are not sure we are willing to “toss” that coin and accept even one votes worth of “responsibility” for agreeing to his election. Sometimes the only righteous decision might well be not making a decision. We are truly torn.. and please… no ” not voting is like voting for Hillary” short sighted, emotional comments please.. because the only thing that is like voting for Hillary is actually VOTING for Hillary. The other two minor candidates are fully unacceptable. Hillary is a certain disaster.. Trump is a possible disaster… I wonder if the quality and qualities of our choices this election speaks to God’s thoughts and opinions about our country ?

    • Mike Smithy

      Being a pragmatist, I prefer to vote for a “possible disaster” as opposed to a “certain disaster”. If you want the U.S. Supreme Court stacked with as many as 3 activist liberal justices, then vote for Hillary. If you are happy with your healthcare premiums skyrocketing, then vote for Hillary. If you want to witness a continued gutting of what’s left of the middle class, then vote for Hillary. If you want to see American soldiers die, so that Qatar can have a pipeline through Syria, then vote for Hillary. I could go on for hours, but it’s just too depressing to contemplate.

      • Sam

        Under no circumstance would we ever vote for Hillary or any other democrat.

        • Mike Smithy

          I can appreciate that. However, the only practical way of seeing her defeated is to vote for Trump. I understand if you must hold your nose while doing so, otherwise, you own the consequences of your inaction.

        Good points, the disaster has already happened through Christians that were asleep at the wheel, decades ago when God was removed from schools, and again in 1973 with legalized killing of the innocent, and so on , and so on.
        The tumultuous seas are all around us, and we can’t stop them, but….via true Christians making a stand and through prayers, we can stave it off for a while, from getting worse. Hillary has the vote and will win! The more you fight against women, the more they will fight against you.

      • NowAlive

        Interesting. So considering half of the children murdered are female, is it a fight against or for women? I’d rather side with those women (and men) who do not yet have a voice, than those who had a “choice” and murdered their own children. Murder = murder. Calling murder “choice” does not make it “good”. It’s just another example of liberals changing the meaning of a word to make evil “good”.

  • Tim

    Keep speaking the truth, Michael.

  • So how could evangelicals vote for Hillary Clinton? The Bible has the answer:

    “They received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.” II Thessalonians 2:10-12

          They are both stoned and drunk. God Help America. Have mercy on the Believers. We’re praying for you but God is Sovereign. It’s not up to Evangelical Christians or anybody else. It is in God’s Hands and He is in control.

          • Jackson

            GOD said in his Word that “satan is the god of this world”. GOD currently is not in control of this world. GOD does not do the horrors that are being done. We have free will and many use that free will to do harm,evil,hate,riot,steal,kill, and destroy. Christians are responsible for adhering to GOD’s Word. Christians prayers,praising, and faith the size of a grain of a mustard seed can move mountains. All things are possible with GOD. We have a job to do and it is not to sit back and say it is in GOD;s hands he is control and we do nothing.Faith without actions is dead and just a cold pew.

            Job 24New International Version (NIV)

            24 “Why does the Almighty not set times for judgment?
            Why must those who know him look in vain for such days?
            2 There are those who move boundary stones;
            they pasture flocks they have stolen.
            3 They drive away the orphan’s donkey
            and take the widow’s ox in pledge.
            4 They thrust the needy from the path
            and force all the poor of the land into hiding.
            5 Like wild donkeys in the desert,
            the poor go about their labor of foraging food;
            the wasteland provides food for their children.
            6 They gather fodder in the fields
            and glean in the vineyards of the wicked.
            7 Lacking clothes, they spend the night naked;
            they have nothing to cover themselves in the cold.
            8 They are drenched by mountain rains
            and hug the rocks for lack of shelter.
            9 The fatherless child is snatched from the breast;
            the infant of the poor is seized for a debt.
            10 Lacking clothes, they go about naked;
            they carry the sheaves, but still go hungry.
            11 They crush olives among the terraces[a];
            they tread the winepresses, yet suffer thirst.
            12 The groans of the dying rise from the city,
            and the souls of the wounded cry out for help.
            But God charges no one with wrongdoing.
            13 “There are those who rebel against the light,
            who do not know its ways
            or stay in its paths.
            14 When daylight is gone, the murderer rises up,
            kills the poor and needy,
            and in the night steals forth like a thief.
            15 The eye of the adulterer watches for dusk;
            he thinks, ‘No eye will see me,’
            and he keeps his face concealed.
            16 In the dark, thieves break into houses,
            but by day they shut themselves in;
            they want nothing to do with the light.
            17 For all of them, midnight is their morning;
            they make friends with the terrors of darkness.
            18 “Yet they are foam on the surface of the water;
            their portion of the land is cursed,
            so that no one goes to the vineyards.
            19 As heat and drought snatch away the melted snow,
            so the grave snatches away those who have sinned.
            20 The womb forgets them,
            the worm feasts on them;
            the wicked are no longer remembered
            but are broken like a tree.
            21 They prey on the barren and childless woman,
            and to the widow they show no kindness.
            22 But God drags away the mighty by his power;
            though they become established, they have no assurance of life.
            23 He may let them rest in a feeling of security,
            but his eyes are on their ways.
            24 For a little while they are exalted, and then they are gone;
            they are brought low and gathered up like all others;
            they are cut off like heads of grain.
            25 “If this is not so, who can prove me false
            and reduce my words to nothing?”

          • Richard T.

            While it is true that Satan is the god of this current age(world/cosmos), our God is still on the throne and in total control. Nothing goes without His permission. Just read the Book of Job. Faith is believing the Word of God, and the Word of God tells us that He’s in total control. ALL things work for the good of those who love God.

            Your argument is not logical if you say God is not in total control, yet you want Christians to pray and believe that God can do anything. If God can do anything then He is in control. If He’s not in control then why pray to Him who is not in total control?

            So if you believe God is in control, does that mean we don’t do anyting? No, it is exactly because we believe that God is in total control of the situation that we pray and we have hope for the future.

          • Jackson

            Personal attacks saying my argument is not logical proves nothing. GOD is only in control of those who give them selves over to GOD. We are not robots with GOD in control. Just because Christians pray and believe does not mean GOD is in total control. Think about it If GOD was in total control there would be no disease,evil,wars,and the world would be perfect cause GOD is perfect. If GOD is in total control all the time over every thing then why is it so messed up? If satan is the GOD of this world as scripture shows,then GOD is not in control of everything cause evil can not exist where GOD is in control of, then satan would not and could not be the GOD of this world then. In the end when satan is destroyed and evil is premanately removed then GOD will be in total control. We are not puppets controlled by GOD all doing his will at his whim and the world exposes that daily. The battle is over our souls the wages of sin are death and satan is working over time right now. If GOD was in total control no one would go to hell cause GOD’s wish is that no one fails and misses heaven. That would be like saying GOD is in total control and he wanted all those to perish in hell and could not stop it. No GOD is not in total control, people have free will and make the wrong choices and do not get salvation and die ,twice.

            God is in Control of All Things, including human decisions.

            “’I know that you can do all things; no purpose of yours can be thwarted'” (Job 42:2).

            “The LORD does whatever pleases him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths” (Psalm 135:6).

            “In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory” (Ephesians 1:11-12).

            “The LORD does whatever pleases him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths” (Psalm 135:6).

            “The LORD works out everything to its proper end—even the wicked for a day of disaster” (Proverbs 16:4).

            “For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. And those he predestined, he also called; those he called, he also justified; those he justified, he also glorified” (Romans 8:29-30).

          • Jackson

            What about those who do not know GOD,the unsaved? Those who are not his children not called by his name? So GOD has removed free will from us? Either we are robots and GOD is in control of everything or we have free will to chose GOD or not. So which one is it?

          • sister soldier

            I did not say that Jackson. Yes, you (we) have free will meaning that God is not forcing anyone to love Him rather we love Him because He first loved us. But if God is Sovereign, and He is, then He is Sovereign over all. That means nothing in heaven, on earth, under the earth can escape His rule or dominion.

            The sun rises every morning because God tells it to get up! Everything that is in creation is subject to the order for which God created it and obeys that order. Humans are the only one with free will and the only species to tell God, NO! And He gave us the free will to do so. It is a completely different paradigm and something that we must accept by faith. That God is in control of all things and He will bring us to our expected end. It is our choice whether we want to abide forever with Him or without Him in utter darkness apart from His glory forever. Disasters on earth are child’s play to an eternity of suffering for those who do not come to God by faith. Without faith it is impossible to please Him.

          • Richard T.

            First of all, saying your argument is not logical is NOT personal attack. It is exactly the opposite. I am pointing to the fallacy of your argument, not attacking your as a person.

            I think perhaps we have a different understanding of the word “control”. Yes, I agree that God has complete control over those who have given their lives to Him. “We know all things work for the good of those who love God” Rom 8:28.

            Your are saying that because evil things happen God is not in control of everything, because God is good and can do no evil.

            I think the key here is to understand the paradox of God who is completely in control and the freedom of choices that He has given us. What I mean is this,God is in control, but He is not controlling us like robots, as you’ve said. We have the freedom to make a choice for Him or against Him. Yet, He is in control of all the situations. He has allowed Satan to sin and fall. He has allowed Adam to sin and fall. He has allowed sin to enter into this world. Was He not in control. Sure He was. But why He let sin enter into this world? Why He let Satan fall? Because of free will. But was God surprised when Satan fall? Was God surprised when Adam fall? No. He knew from the beginning before He created ANY thing, what would happen. Yet, He choose to create the angles and men anyway. Knowing that it would take no less than His own death to redeem the situation. And yes, He’s in complete control of the situation from Day 1. Satan and all the evil are merely His pawns that He uses to accomplish His perfect plan.

            Yes, it’s God’s desire to have all men be saved and not one perish. Yet, He is not going to override our freewill. But this does not negate the fact that God controls everything.

            He is in control beyond what we see here on the earth. Now all things happen is not meant to be good by the evil. In fact, Satan meant to kill, steal and destroy by what he does. But through the same action, God meant it for good for those who love Him. We can see examples after examples in the Old Testament. Joseph, Job, David, and many others. Evils were done to them through the hands of the enemy but it was meant to be good by God.

            In fact, would you consider the crucification of Jesus to be the most evil things we have done ever? But who really crucified Jesus? It was God the Father that really crucified God the Son! Isaiah said, it pleased God to crush him. The crucification of Jesus is the most amazing work of God, done by the hands of evil people, nonetheless.

            God doesn’t control us like robots. But God is definitely in charge. That’s why we can pray and rest in the hope knowing that whatever happens, it will be for our benefits. Knowing He is in charge will bring freedom to our walk and life.

          • Jackson

            All I was saying is if GOD is in total control of every thing and every one and he controls it. Then we do not have free will. If we have free will then GOD does not control us. Listen I am a Christian and believe in GOD and he is all powerful. I also believe we have free will to chose GOD or not to chose GOD our choice. I do not believe GOD’s Total control reaches into our free will or everyone would be saved and a Christian since his will is that no one misses heaven and he would just command us to follow him. I also believe he has that power if he wanted to use it that way. I understand GOD knew us before we were in our mothers womb. He knows every thing and all that is going to happen. Yet knowing everything does not mean it is being controlled two different things. There is no doubt he is in charge,all powerful,and the one and only true GOD. I think in total control of everything is maybe where a better term could be used when at the same time we have free will.

          • sister soldier

            In agreement with Richard T. I must concur with his narrative. Yes, Satan is the prince of this world and he also has power over the air as well but the book of Job, especially chapter one, clearly shows us that, despite having far greater natural powers than a man, Satan can do nothing against any of God’s children that He does not permit.

            God is overseeing our preparation for His Kingdom, and the devil is, in reality, a dupe in God’s hands to that end. God places a hedge, a protective wall around His servants, commanding Satan, “This is as far as you can go and no further.”

            God Himself takes the initiative in even setting up Job’s trial and He chooses the antagonist who is Satan and even defines the parameters of what could be done to His servant. Can we then say after reading Job’s account that God only permits difficult trials or the storms of life be they spiritual or natural as in ( a fallen world subject to disaster) to occur? God is not actively testing His children to see what is in them He already knows the heart. He is testing His children so that they can know who He, God of All Power is in their lives and in them.

            We likewise cannot say that God is not directing Satan to carry out the disasters and calamities that the Lord Himself designs for the chastisement and the repentance of mankind.

            This is why we should pray, “Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven.”

          • Jackson

            There are billions of people who are not Christians that satan does have power over. We have to look at the big picture of the whole earth not just Christians. Plus,we have all seen many Christians fall if we have not then we have not lived very long. It is the unsaved that are our jobs as Christians. Assuming GOD is in control and not taking into account the worlds unsaved is like removing 75% of the planets people and saying they do not count. There are billions of people on this planet not saved and satan has them. We as Christians are given authority by Jesus Christ to go out and share with them the good news of life,grace,and mercy.There are a lot of people who are not GOD’s children to not include them is a complete disregard of our Christian teachings. Of course we pray, yet plenty of Christians have tragedy,disasters, horrors strike. We are not exempted and GOD stated that fact.

            23 Then Job replied:

            2 “Even today my complaint is bitter;
            his hand[a] is heavy in spite of[b] my groaning.
            3 If only I knew where to find him;
            if only I could go to his dwelling!
            4 I would state my case before him
            and fill my mouth with arguments.
            5 I would find out what he would answer me,
            and consider what he would say to me.
            6 Would he vigorously oppose me?
            No, he would not press charges against me.
            7 There the upright can establish their innocence before him,
            and there I would be delivered forever from my judge.
            8 “But if I go to the east, he is not there;
            if I go to the west, I do not find him.
            9 When he is at work in the north, I do not see him;
            when he turns to the south, I catch no glimpse of him.
            10 But he knows the way that I take;
            when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold.
            11 My feet have closely followed his steps;
            I have kept to his way without turning aside.
            12 I have not departed from the commands of his lips;
            I have treasured the words of his mouth more than my daily bread.
            13 “But he stands alone, and who can oppose him?
            He does whatever he pleases.
            14 He carries out his decree against me,
            and many such plans he still has in store.
            15 That is why I am terrified before him;
            when I think of all this, I fear him.
            16 God has made my heart faint;
            the Almighty has terrified me.
            17 Yet I am not silenced by the darkness,
            by the thick darkness that covers my face.

        Eliphaz
        22 Then Eliphaz the Temanite replied:

        2 “Can a man be of benefit to God?
        Can even a wise person benefit him?
        3 What pleasure would it give the Almighty if you were righteous?
        What would he gain if your ways were blameless?
        4 “Is it for your piety that he rebukes you
        and brings charges against you?
        5 Is not your wickedness great?
        Are not your sins endless?
        6 You demanded security from your relatives for no reason;
        you stripped people of their clothing, leaving them naked.
        7 You gave no water to the weary
        and you withheld food from the hungry,
        8 though you were a powerful man, owning land—
        an honored man, living on it.
        9 And you sent widows away empty-handed
        and broke the strength of the fatherless.
        10 That is why snares are all around you,
        why sudden peril terrifies you,
        11 why it is so dark you cannot see,
        and why a flood of water covers you.
        12 “Is not God in the heights of heaven?
        And see how lofty are the highest stars!
        13 Yet you say, ‘What does God know?
        Does he judge through such darkness?
        14 Thick clouds veil him, so he does not see us
        as he goes about in the vaulted heavens.’
        15 Will you keep to the old path
        that the wicked have trod?
        16 They were carried off before their time,
        their foundations washed away by a flood.
        17 They said to God, ‘Leave us alone!
        What can the Almighty do to us?’
        18 Yet it was he who filled their houses with good things,
        so I stand aloof from the plans of the wicked.
        19 The righteous see their ruin and rejoice;
        the innocent mock them, saying,
        20 ‘Surely our foes are destroyed,
        and fire devours their wealth.’
        21 “Submit to God and be at peace with him;
        in this way prosperity will come to you.
        22 Accept instruction from his mouth
        and lay up his words in your heart.
        23 If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored:
        If you remove wickedness far from your tent
        24 and assign your nuggets to the dust,
        your gold of Ophir to the rocks in the ravines,
        25 then the Almighty will be your gold,
        the choicest silver for you.
        26 Surely then you will find delight in the Almighty
        and will lift up your face to God.
        27 You will pray to him, and he will hear you,
        and you will fulfill your vows.
        28 What you decide on will be done,
        and light will shine on your ways.
        29 When people are brought low and you say, ‘Lift them up!’
        then he will save the downcast.
        30 He will deliver even one who is not innocent,
        who will be delivered through the cleanness of your hands.”

          Do you know that Eliphaz and Job’s other friends wrongly judged Job? And God was angry with Eliphaz and his friends.

          Job 38:1Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,
          Job 38:2 Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?

          Job 42:7 And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.

          Words without knowledge, the knowledge of the one true God is useless. And only knowing God and Jesus Christ is the true knowledge.

          Job 42:7 And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against thee, and against thy two friends: for ye have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job hath.

          Job 42:7-8 “And it came about after the LORD had spoken these words to Job, that the LORD said to Eliaphaz
          ,
          ‘My wrath is kindled against you and against your two friends because you have NOT spoken what was right as My sevant Job has. Now therefore take for yourself seven bulls and seven rams and GO TO My servant Job and offer up a burnt offering for yourselves, and MY servant Job will pray for you. For I will accept him so that I may not do with you according to YOUR foolish words, because you have not spoken OF ME what is right, as My servant Job has.'”

          Those who speak in the place of God, taking His words into their mouth, must be very careful to properly represent Him before others. Even Moses failed to do this once.

          When wheat ripens, it bows from the weight of the fruit. When tares ripen, their heads are high above the wheat as they stand proudly, like Eliaphaz, whom the LORD rebuked, because they have no fruit.

        The evil is built into the design of the political system. For centuries blacks and women were not allowed to vote by law or the restraint of the law. There were thousands that died never having the opportunity to cast one single vote and they died in Christ. Will they be punished for not doing so?

        The two party system and now three if you include the lesser Independent party is built with a demonic flaw. “And if a house be divided against itself it cannot stand.” It is sold under democracy when in actuality it is the devil’s monarchy and birth child. Whereas it concerns Christians if the man-made laws go against God’s supreme laws and authority then we are to follow God’s laws. No exceptions because man cannot destroy body and soul only the Giver of Life can do that. The system is based on ungodly pride no matter how we may justify it God is not the author of confusion.

        We live in a day and age when some defer not to go against the system but will say no to God and with God the future is the past so nothing escapes His holy will not even our unthankfulness toward Him the Creator of all life.

        The Sovereign Supreme God that changes times and seasons; He removes kings and sets up kings; He gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.” And id “He brings one down, He will exalt another”. Clearly, it is God who is sovereign over all the earth and where mankind rules, God overrules. Whatever party is in power, “power”, being the key text, God is the only Superpower and everything falls under His rule

      The exact verse I was thinking about, along with a part from the Olivet discourse where Christ tells us that in the latter days “even the elect (CINO’s) will be deceived”

      • JC Teecher

        You forgot the part in that conversation where it said…….”if it were possible”.
        That is a whole different meaning than you saying that the elect will be deceived. Learn truth and it will set you free

        • Mary Brewer

          Right you are, JC. People who do not know the word always misquote that verse.

        • jaxon64

          Hence the reference to “CINO’s” “Christian in name only”.
          Christ tells us that many will come to Him saying “Lord, Lord, did we not prophecy in your name etc…..” and He will say “I knew you not”
          I did not forget the part about “if it were possible”, I presumed that an in-depthly educated in the Word Christian would understand the inference…I know the truth, shame on those who would try and publicly castigate a fellow brother in Christ in public with shallow legalism.

          • JC Teecher

            A true brother in Christ, would never view constructive criticism as something “shameful”, So your inability to take truth, says volumes to your character and oneupmanship, way of thinking.

            Following God’s truth through each and every precept and full meaning of His Word, is not provoking shallow legalism.
            If that is the way you think and behave, maybe this site isn’t where you need to be voicing your ideas and “shortened”, untrue quotes.

            Have a good trip.

          • jaxon64

            Wow–now you would question whether I am ” a true brother in Christ”…shame on you.

          • JC Teecher

      You are so right Luis. As I was reading this I was saying to myself just because you describe yourself as a Christain does not make you one. A Christain is a true lover and follower of Jesus Christ. The scariest verse in the Bible is where it says the people say on judgement day ” I preached in your name I cast out demons in your name ” and I dont remember what all but then Jesus says depart from me I never knew you. There are going to be a lot of people that hears those words. God please help us.

    Another point on abortion is that Hillary will have US funding abortions via our tax dollars. How EVIL!!!!!!!!! And she will pick a Supreme Court that will probably say that partial birth abortion is a fundamental right that MUST be funded by taxpayers. It will truly be that insane.

    The only good thing about Hillary as POTUS if you can see it is that it will guarantee the downfall and investing will be very easy. Because Michael is right, our trajectory will then be know pretty much for certain, as much as any such thing CAN be known.

    • James Staten

      You are probably aware of this information, but I was shocked a few years ago when I read about it? John Price wrote a book about “The End of America” and in it he revealed information about world-wide abortion. In 73? when Roe vs Wade passed, the US started tying financial aid for the countries of the world with their acceptance of abortion. He states through the years America is perhaps responsible for over 1 Billion abortions world-wide? Lord have mercy on us!!!!

        Except the liberals are behind both the subjugation and destruction of developing Africa, bombings across Yemen, Sudan, Somalia, Pakistan, Syria, Libya etc etc..we are still killing in Afghan and Iraq 8 years later–and we finance the slaughter of their unborn children……..
        Progressives like Gates and Buffet fund the WHO which has been aborting and sterilizing women without consent across the “dark continent”…and you spew that idiocy? Please Explain:

    How is it that a national non-partisan group prepares a 100 page report “Election Justice USA” that states Bernie Sanders was robbed of the DNC nomination but it never gets reported in the mass media or

    Senator Kerry has Iranian relations (son-in-law) but that is not considered relevant to him negotiating with the Iranians on the nuclear sanctions or

    That foreign governments (largely Arabic, but also the Australian gov) have been funding the Clinton Foundation.

        • craig

          The biggest killer of the living is to die apart from knowing and receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior…which is an unending death sentence of torment. There is nothing worse facing man on this earth.

          The opposite is the best of life here on earth, to know Jesus, the lover of our souls.

          Abortion is wrong. How do we know? From God’s word:

          Psalm 139:13-17

          For You formed my inward parts;
          You wove me in my mother’s womb.
          14 I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
          Wonderful are Your works,
          And my soul knows it very well.
          15 My frame was not hidden from You,
          When I was made in secret,
          And skillfully wrought in the depths of the earth;
          16 Your eyes have seen my unformed substance;
          And in Your book were all written
          The days that were ordained for me,
          When as yet there was not one of them.
          17 How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God!
          How vast is the sum of them!

          And here’s some more wisdom from the Holy Spirit found in God’s word:

          Jeremiah 1:5

          “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,
          And before you were born I consecrated you;
          I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.”
          In eternity God knew everyone of us while we were in our mother’s womb.
          And God is not just Love and Light.
          He is also LIFE.
          Turn your life over to Jesus, repent and believe…and receive the joy and peace and love found in heaven.

The evidence points that the gas chambers were used for delousing. And most of the people who died in the concentration camps was the result of starvation and working in forced labor camps.

    The death caused by starvation in the concentration camps was not anti-Semitic:

    There are a lot of people in the USA who profess to be Christians but really are not Christians. Jesus said that by their fruits we would know them. No Christian has any business voting for a presidential candidate who is totally opposed to what God loves. Those who do are showing the corrupt fruits of their lives.

    • df NJ

      The problem is your judgments about who is for or opposed to what God loves is purely subjective.

      Nobody speaks for God including you.

    • SAD

      AMEN Raffy.

  • Clinton’s evil isn’t even secret. It is right out in everyone’s face. And so many who claim to be Christians support her? Their future is waiting for them and that future is the lake of fire.

  • Kent Harris

    How will it be when they see Jesus at the White Throne? I believe that the pulpit’s major weakness is the refusal to preach not only grace but the law. Both work together in unison and as such we are built on solid ground. From this article there are a lot of wolves aamong us.

  • JC Teecher

    Thank you Michael, for stepping up to the spiritual plate, and knocking a Grand Slam with this article.
    However; it will not make any difference in the outcome, because 99% of the electorate (voting public) have already made up their minds. The handful of independents, and fence sitters, that make a decision “now” about voting with their self-proclaimed Christian conscience, and turn away from the liberal side; will all be overshadowed by the “thefts” of votes by crooked voting by rigged machines, double votes, and the illegal/dead vote, which is probably all 99% in favor of the dems/liberals.

    But, there is one thing that should not be overlooked, and that the books are open in Heaven, aka The Book Of Life, where personal records are kept on each accountable aged person; and in those books goes every deed, action, and thought. All the positive/for good, goes in a ledger that is never erased. All the negative/bad/sinful/anti-God stuff, goes on a ledger that is erasable, if conditions are met.

    In those ledgers, are records of all those that vote for liberalism=bad, and the positive anti-liberalism=good. The undecided/abstinence vote is recorded as well. An abstainer is in a better position to be held unaccountable, than a self-proclaimed Christian that votes for the liberals that are nothing but corrupt liars and thieves.
    Then also comes into play the standing up and being accounted as a supporter for abortion and the turning of USA into Sodom and Gaymorrah.

    Pride killed Satan, and Gay Pride, without repentance and a change of heart and mind, is also a death sentence. Supporting it is the same as being one (queer), in God’s eyes…without repentance and a change of heart and mind as well.

    So there is more at stake in this election than meets the eye. The Fall of America as a Superpower Nation, will eventually come because of a majority following a One World Beast System, and the evil perversions of that system…aka liberalism/individualism/false Christianity and other religious practices. However; the fast track to that Fall, will come “if”, Christian Americans don’t wake up, open their eyes, and get off the PC Train to ruin.

  • Richard T.

    Christians should be Christians and should hold fast to Christian beliefs and values regardless of ethnic background at all. Why is there a difference between cultural subgroup among Christians? Aren’t we all believe in the same God? Aren’t we all saved by the same Jesus Christ? Aren’t we all fill by the same Holy Spirit? Aren’t we all reading the same Scripture?
    The very fact that there are churches out there that do not subscribe to the truth of God revealed in the Bible is revealing. It is showing us the state of the mainline churches in America.
    And now, just like 8 and 4 years ago, Christians and non-Christians are being asked to make another choice This election would reveal to us whose side they are on.
    I understand if a Christian is not voting for Trump or not voting at all. But I definitely cannot understand if a Christians who is truly following God and trying to walk after His ways would vote for the Democrats.

    • df NJ

      No. There are more sects of Christianity as there is churches.

      One man’s religion is another man’s cult.

      • Richard T.

        That is not true. There is a true Christianity as revealed to us by God through the Scriptures. There are essential doctrines that all true Christians believe since the beginning. Yes, there are non-essential doctrines that often and did create divisions and issues. But that does not take away from the essential truth that make Christians Christians.

        All truth is based on the Word of God, outside of that, there is no truth.

      VOTE TRUMP!!!

  • Oz

    These so called Apostate Christians are blind, deaf, dumb and naked. A vote for Hillary Clinton is a 100% vote for 666 – the Beast, Hell and the Destruction of America. Plain and Simple. Jesus will say to them “Depart from me you workers of iniquity – I know you not!”

    • Bill G Wilminton NC

      Amen!!!!

    • sister soldier

      A vote for either is to support evil as neither candidate is a pillar of what constitutes a Christian but they are both doing God’s will in the earth. There is no arguing that point but to say that one is more of a “right choice” because of what they may “believe” is in error as they are both bad examples of what America truly needs which is more God and not more man made fallible and flawed laws. Christ said that His kingdom is not of this world and that is still very true. We don’t fight for Christ we fight for mere mortals to lead us to where they cannot go without God. Neither HIllary or Donald are fit to serve as POTUS but they are right for the judgment of America.

      And for evangelicals to support either one is wrong. As Trump himself has said that he does not require forgiveness. That is one solid reason to not listen to any other empty promise. “I am not sure I have,” Trump said when asked if he’d ever asked God for forgiveness. “I just go on and try to do a better job from there. I don’t think so,” he said. “I think if I do something wrong, I think, I just try and make it right. I don’t bring God into that picture. I don’t.”

      • Bill G Wilminton NC

        Sister Soldier: I Say Vote For Trump If ONLY For His Anti Abortion Stance……

        “Are There Any That Are Not Sinners”. Who Is Not Who…..

        Why Do You Focus ONLY On The One Candidate That Is Anti-Abortion….

        You Have Done This Before While Talking About The Retrobate “Candidates” You Focus ONLY On TRUMP….If I Go Back On Your Comments It Is Always The Same And Only About TRUMP…..I Believe Your Lack Of Expressing Disdain For Hillary Speaks Volumes.

        With Trump There Is A Chance That Maybe He Is The “Cyrus” Of The Bible……But With Hillary We Will Be Getting EVIL IN A PANTS SUIT!!!. Evil, Corrupt, Decrepit, who Has Sold-Out Our Country To The Highest Bidder. HIGHEST BIDDER !!!

        • sister soldier

          I hear you Brother Bill I really do but this is my personal conviction regarding the matter and I dare not say that you should subscribe to it as you are obviously a man of you own convictions which I must also respect as fellow believer in Christ.

          You say that Trump is “anti-abortion” that may be as of now; but he is also “pro adultery” by word and deeds so which sin would I be voting for or against? It is wrong to select a candidate simply because they speak out against one sin and then glorify and hold fast to all others. We should ask for leaders who live godly lives so that we may live peaceful lives in return. You know as well as I do that no matter who wins, there will be no peace. Not until Jesus returns.

          God will determine the next leader, in fact He already knows the one He is going to establish. I will vote but not for one of them. I have asked for a write in ballot. If some say that is just like not voting then this truly is a dictatorial monarchy if I am forced to choose between two evils which I had no say so over in the first place. If voter’s had any input we could reject the candidates before the are officially nominated. Where is the democracy?

          • Bill G Wilminton NC

            Again, I Say You Only Speak About Trump !!! What About That Horror Hillary!!!

            Trump Is Anti-Abortion….Trump Is Anti NWO Of The Bible…..Trump Is Anti Open Borders…..Trump Is Anti Globalism.

          • sister soldier

            Dearest Brother Bill I thought you knew that I do not support either candidate. Hillary is indeed evil and not what America needs either. My position has always been, “Thy will be done O’ Lord” and not man’s will. As a Christian I don’t believe we should choose sides but we are to direct men to God and not other men. My personal conviction is that it would be wrong of me to tell the people to decide this way or that way but my faith persuades me to tell them that this current government and its system is entirely from the origins of Satan. There is no winner in this election not under America’s current rebellious stance towards God. If you cry gives us a king! It may not be what you believe but what is just concerning God. God bless and I love you in the Lord.

      • just thinking out loud

        King David sent a man to the front lines to die because he coveted his wife. Yet God nonetheless raised him up because despite his incredible weakness in certain areas, despite him beling flawed, he was either the best man for the job or struggling to be worthy in other ways.

        Trump has not even gone as far as that so how can you call him evil?

        • sister soldier

          Trump’s deeds have not been recorded. You don’t know how many men or women he may have had executed. That is the problem with today’s culture they run with the crowd.

          David knew who God was at all times! He was a man after God’s own heart. He knew he needed to repent! He knew his deeds and actions were wrong and he paid for those things ultimately by trials he suffered.

          Trump is a man who says that he has never had to ask for forgiveness. So therefore he is the perfect candidate for a nation that believes they no longer need God’s forgiveness.

    • df NJ

      One thing is for sure. When you combine politics with religion it destroys both.

      • Paul Patriot

        Incorrect. Please spend time reading the founding documents, Blackstone’s, federalist papers, constitution, and would be a big help to read how the founders felt about “religion” being mixed with politics.

  • df NJ

    Pope Francis is a real Christian:

    >Francis also spoke out strongly again against religious fundamentalism, saying that fundamentalism exists in all religions and should be combatted with efforts at friendship. He said he prefers not to speak of having tolerance for other religious, but “living together, friendship.”
    >
    >”Fundamentalism is a sickness that is in all religions,” said the pontiff. “We Catholics have some — and not some, many — who believe in the absolute truth and go ahead dirtying the other with calumny, with disinformation, and doing evil.”
    >
    >”They do evil,” said the pope. “I say this because it is my church.”
    >
    >”We have to combat it,” he said. “Religious fundamentalism is not religious, because it lacks God. It is idolatry, like the idolatry of money.”

    At least his heart is in the right place. As opposed to most of you hateful Christians who wear Jesus tattoos.

    The problem with evangelical christians is they can’t wait for the apocalypse since they are convinced their place will be in heaven. So it is of no consequence to them if Killary becomes prez. They’d just as soon as have the end of the world than vote for trump.

    You will know them by the fruits of their labors.
    That pretty much says it all.
    The key issue for all Christians is whether or not you support legal abortion in this country. If you do, vote for Hillary.
    If you don’t, the decision is much more difficult.
    Know this, Trump for all his faults, does not support legal abortion in this country.

    • Bill G Wilminton NC

      Amen !!! Amen !!! Amen !!! Amen !!!

      Shalom

    • df NJ

      What is really irritating is why didn’t Republicans make abortion illegal between 2000 and 2008 when they controlled all 3 branches of government.

      I don’t understand why you conservatives want to make abortion illegal anyway. I thought you were against BIG government.

      Also, if abortion is so immoral why is your faith in God’s judgment and sentence to eternal suffering so weak. If someone has an abortion isn’t eternal suffering enough punishment? Or is your faith so weak that deep down you really do not believe in eternal suffering is really going happen.

      Now if you are doing it to save the innocent babies then why don’t you support fighting poverty in this country with public policy. More children die of poverty than abortion.

      “Hunger and World Poverty. About 21,000 people die every day of hunger or hunger-related causes, according to the United Nations. This is one person every four seconds, as you can see on this display. Sadly, it is children who die most often.”

    • just thinking out loud

      If you dont support legal abortion you support illegal abortion. Making it illegal has never stopped it, just driven it underground, and arguably causing even worse fallout in other ways. Look at the drug war for another example of making things illegal doing zero to curb it.

      The far bigger problem is the cultural manipulation to make people think life is worthless and sex is just for fun. If it were legal, but the overwhelming majority were vehemently against it and always chose adoption, why would that be a bad thing? “Make it illegal” is a cry that rarely works but is super easy for the lazy, social problems are complex and often long in the forming. It’s often a feel good measure so that people can tell themself they are off the hook, just like parents that wont talk to their kids about drugs but support the DARE program (which actually increased drug use 3-5x) or parents that wont talk to their kids about sex (but govt sex ed again increases promiscuity).

      Fixing society takes alot of work. Voting isn’t going to fix it nor is having in your favored candidate. People deciding to reject the globalist narrative is the only way out of this mess, not making illegal one head of the hydra and cheering when you chop it off saying your work is done.

  • JB

    The earth is filled to the brim with professing Christians; that doesn’t mean they’re born again/ regenerated. You’ll know them by their fruit.

    • df NJ

      Yeah, but it gives them confidence.

  • Dan Jones

    Lol, okay show the verse where they are apostate if they do not vote your way?? Okay take your time…

    Let’s make this crystal clear, GOD NEVER SANCTIONED VOTING because VOTING DIVIDES THE BODY OF CHRIST…

    Jesus Said Clearly “A kingdom divided cannot stand…”

    Always be a light that is shininginthedark

    • df NJ

      Are you suggesting we get rid of our Constitution and replace it with Christ’s law?

    • Gimme A Break

      I agree! Voting is the work of Satan, only dictatorship can save us! A dictatorship of YOU!

      That would make it so easy wouldn’t it – not having to convince anyone with logic.

      Jesus spoke to slaves and other underclasses – voting didn’t even exist for them. Why would he comment on it.

      • Dan Jones

        Really? So God isn’t the same yesterday, today, and forever? He told us to pay our taxes and he said he gave us everything that pertains to life and godliness… He would NEVER sanction anything that divides His Body… So that means that voting and denominations are definitely not of God… rebuttal from the Word?

        • Gimme A Break

          Well he didn’t say stop slavery, he didn’t talk about stem cell technology, he didn’t talk about whether or not we can clone the dead – come to think of it there’s lots of things that Jesus didn’t talk about. Maybe because the people he was talking to at the time were living lives where that had nothing to do with their daily experience. Like VOTING IN A DEMOCRACY.

          The plebians (lower class) had almost no say in Roman politics (sort of like now!) and by the time of Christ it was almost entirely dominated by emperors.

          Were it otherwise i’m sure Jesus would have suggested to vote consistent with his commandments about loving the lord God above all else and loving your neighbor as yourself. Clearly this would have led to a split as the morons with no discernment who labeled themself Christian would have chosen people like Hillary.

          • JC Teecher

            The Romans, at the time, just like the politics of the liberals, would kill all the opposers to their dictatorship style of governing; so, there was no push to change the system to a republic whereby the people could cast a vote.

            Also, Jesus wanted the people to be more focused on His principals and the Holy Word, instead of politics.
            Politics will not save a person’s soul; but, the life and Words of Jesus Christ will.

  • jknbt

    trump is the lesser of two big evils. a vote for hillary votes for:

    gun confiscation, the end of the 2nd amendment
    abortion, 74 million babies murdered in the USA alone
    packing the supreme court with the worst sort of socialists and humanists
    oppression & persecution of christians and christianity
    legalization of marijuana nationwide & worse drugs too
    establishment of godless atheistic humanism as the defacto state religion
    have I said enough…

    yes, Trump has groped women (gasp)…he is incredibly flawed, but he is not a FELON who exposed state secrets to adversaries and lied about it…

    Trump wants to defuse the whole middle east conflict…do you liberals realize how close we are to nuclear war with the Russians? Hillary will take us into WW3 and armageddon…a vote for Hillary is a vote for unthinkable war and its consequences…you will raise your children in a nuclear wasteland if she wins…put that up next to any of donald’s flaws, and they are rather minimal…think about it…

    • df NJ

      People who who claim to know exactly what is evil are the most evil because they may act out of ignorance.

    • JC Teecher

      Trump admitted he groped women, and committed adultry. Who, that can without a doubt, prove he has not asked for repentance for those deeds, and furthermore, prove he is not a born again Christian………………………………………………………………………………….let, him or her, cast the first stone, and see chastisement, because of casting judgment upon others that “claim”, they follow the bible; come upon them ten fold.
      We can discern, without casting judgment and stones of ridicule. Self ideological thoughts of perfect discernment, may be a situation where we would be better off in keeping it to ourselves, and therefore, just “choose” to not associate or align with those that we see as possible heathen.
      Unlike the situation of discernment of bill and hillery, and most liberals, that “never” publicly say, they are now changed Christians and do no longer follow those acceptances of abominations unto the Father.
      That discernment is a clear choice for ridicule and non-alignment, plus casting of stones of outcry of non-acceptance of them as the heathens they so are.

        How about removing the plank from Hillary’s eye before the spec in Trump’s eye becomes an issue then.

    The information about the “fellow Christians” support for the Clinton killing machine is truly reprehensible. Especially knowing, the know nothing, snowflake millennials have bought into the lie. These dumbed down social justice “Christians” are our future leaders? Lord Jesus, I pray this is not included in the judgement of our sinful nation. Since the sins of this nation are continuing to be exposed, I also pray that the sins of the so called “Christians” in name only are also exposed and that they truly accept the Lord in all of His truth and not the enemies lies in Jesus’ mighty name.

    I bind you satan, all unholy powers, principalities, rulers of darkness, wicked spirits in high places, unholy cherubim, seraphim, thrones, dominions, territorials, elementals, strongman spirits on assignment, all above, around and below the strongman spirit, all entities not of the Holy Spirit, all spirits not of the Holy Spirit, all of your works and efforts in the Church and this US presidential election which I curse at the roots and decree of no effect.

    I bind up and off all counter attacks, judgement, wraths, revenge, retaliations and reprisals of satan in any way, manner or form, to or through any individual, organization, adversaries or would be adversaries, past, present, and even as they arise, or to through anyone, anywhere, at any time, in any manner, for any reason, by any means, for any purpose in any way. I decree all such permanently and perpetually forbidden in the authority of Christ Jesus. Amen.

    If anyone else is involved in spiritual warfare, please protect yourself with the full Armor of God and then pray the above listed prayer. The Lord Jesus delegated His power and authority to us. I used to be in social work and i’d like to say that this is an anomaly or the only case but the reality is that it is not. I used to be virulently anti abortion, after what I saw in my 1.5 years in a large urban metro i’m… not so sure any more. are links disallowed? I posted a link asking a sincere question and it said awaiting moderation then disappeared. There was no profanity or bad talk anywhere.

  • broken soul

    I guess there was a long delay before posting of many hours plus it shows at the very bottom.

    The point of my post is that I used to be strongly anti abortion and now i’m just not so sure. Whenever i’ve heard some woman tell me “i DONT WANT this baby” I don’t just ignore it anymore and I don’t see how making abortions illegal would solve what already only happens in bad situations to begin with. You can’t force parents to love a child, even if they develop some affections you can’t force competence and you can’t force affections to not become twisted.

    In my experience in social work the only children that had their kids snatched were actually good middle class Christian families. The trailer trash with a naked baby screaming in the background and another crawling with an unchanged leaking diaper in front of us while the mother was either drunk or high in front of us for some reason we were told to let be by the higher ups. Why was never explained. I was forced out by complaining too much about what I was seeing until more control freaky people who seemed to love their work and have no soul replaced me.

    What are we even doing to our children in this world… I can’t condemn a mother who takes a look around at this place and decides this is no place to raise a child on second thought. Who decides at some point quality of life matters more than the rawwest ugliest existance possible. I don’t want to play the game of endless secondguessing when even if parents are incompetent the state seems to be more incompetent when it intervenes – I wonder if legal hands off is as good as it can get. Am I wrong to wonder these things?

    Still waiting/hoping others will read the link above and comment disturbing as it is.

    Yes, evangelicals have their priorities messed up. Here’s something scarier – due to their reproductive rate, the Mormons will soon become the largest religion in the US, so you can forget about electing anyone who drinks alcohol, coffee or tea, who cusses, or does any of a gazillion things that offend them (the list is endless). They are currently supporting a 40-something fellow from Utah (Evan McMullin) who, apparently, has never done anything that could be considered sinful, and who probably has also never done anything that would make him a good president. But hey, at least Utah won’t go to Trump, it will go to Clinton, so they can feel good about that.

    • unhappy

      So you believe the under 15 million mormons in the USA with a 3.4 birthrate are going to outdo the 6.7 birthrate of say muslims from somalia similar to other higher north african birthrates (which is where huge numbers are coming from despite the claims of ‘syrian refugees’, look at the ethnicities coming off the plane, how many clearly not syrians) separate from the fact that muslims can have up to FOUR WIVES and start breeding for children from the moment of puberty (since sex at age 9 is what mohammed did)? Gimme a break. I don’t even think you’ll keep up with the central american latinos with their over 4.0 birthrate since we’ve already imported at least 30 million of them.

      • JI

        Yes, I do. Of course, IF you invite in millions of Somali’s, and IF you encourage them to take up to four wives from the non-Somali population (which is where they’d have to come from give the roughly 50/50 male/female split), then perhaps the Somali’s will eventually outbreed the Mormons. Of course, if polygamy is allowed for Muslems then I see the Mormons returning whole-heartedly back to their roots and taking on an unlimited number of wives. And keep in mind, too, only the Mormons had a historical doctrine going back to Joseph Smith himself that said that polygamy was required in order to enter the Celestial Kingdom (Mormonism’s highest level of heaven). Muslems were never required to have multiple wives to ensure their place in paradise.

        • unhappy

          okay… maybe you are correct. That said the step one in that is still is to stop inviting them into the country and preferably to kick out those already here who have shown zero interest in culturally assimilating. (anyone not speaking english after 5 years and wearing a ninja costume when it’s not halloween is a good start)

          It’s also worth pointing out that interesting dichotomy there – in Islam if you die in jihad you are on the fast track to guaranteed heaven. If you die in any other way, no matter how good you are (you could run an orphanage saving a billion muslim lives) there is always doubt, and you take the slow way.

          • JI

            Ha ha ha, yeah, no english and wearing a ninja costume when it’s not halloween is an excellent start! If I may, I am going to use that one with my buddies. 🙂

    Jesus said his Kingdom is not from this world. Jesus’ true followers are not part of this world either. The fact that evangelicals are very much involved in the political system and expected to vote for the candidate approved by their clergy proves that none of them are Christ’s followers.

        I saw a bumper sticker years ago that said it pretty well: DON’T BELIEVE IN ABORTION? THEN DON’T HAVE ONE! And that ought to be a Christian’s position. Neither Christ nor the apostles held office in the Roman world. They sought to change lives through the teachings of God, not through the political system.

        After all, there have been “pro-life” Republicans who have held high office and as near as I can tell there was not a single less abortion during their time in office. In fact, the last Republican president is responsible for killing about a million Iraqis. Or do you just consider the lives of the unborn to be sacred?

          You would think so but Christians always have a hard time minding their own business it seems. This article was cross posted on prison planet and a fun little rile-up on the disqus thread there occurred where he was actually pro life but he got alienated by Christians saying he was a murderer for not stopping others from having them. The ugliness of evangelical behavior shone threw to me as everyone jumped on the guy further, who maybe was a little off but still didn’t seem to deserve it if what else he said was actually true.

          The only thing that making abortions illegal does is drive them underground, back into DIY solutions that are even more horrible much of the time. Legalizing is not condoning, it makes the process more controlled. Drug use is legal in various european countries because by controlling it they can reduce the harm instead of letting it go uncontrolled in the streets. In no way am I saying that the abortion industry is not sick to the core and needing absolute changes on every level, but at the end of a day an unwanted baby doesn’t become wanted by sticking a gun to the mother’s head and making her womb into her chains either.

            Killing babies should not given ANY quarter
            And luke warm Christians are worse than athiest
            People like you are apologist for evil

    So the very elect are deceived; what else is new? Her stand on abortion, her long history of bisexuality, her constant lying, her incompetence and deviousness, etc., suddenly are unimportant. Quick to judge! when Trump has little chance to defend himself other than call them liars. I remember the Liberals siccing Anita Hill on Judge Thomas. This is an old ploy by Liberals and their obsession for rule negates all honor, dignity, and morality. A virtuous person has shame and a conscience; Liberals have neither. Fiddlin

    Great article and from it- The frightening thing is that this election might be the last chance
    for evangelical Christians to shape the political direction of this
    nation, because the truth is that demographics are rapidly shifting, and
    this includes the demographics of the evangelical community…

    yep but they are shaping and choosing for their future, for what they want, money and life of ease, they seek to live deliciously above all ..hey sorta like Rev 18:7 and Rev 3:17…

      Yes but the simple reality is stupid can not be fixed

    You pretty well nailed it, “apostate Christians”. Apostates are just that, a self-proclaimed “Christian” who denies the very tenets of the faith. Nothing more than a social club, they create a god that suits them. Their enemy is the true biblical faith in a biblical God.

    Obama speaks of his “Christianity” which is nothing more than Marxism disguised as some “social gospel”. Hillary trots out her liberal Methodist upbringing. Today we have “evangelicalism” coopted by these false Christians to give some sort of legitimacy to their false beliefs.

    Modern democrat liberalism is in no way compatible with biblical teaching. Their number one go-to ploy is class envy, class warfare, that is “covetousness”. Forced redistribution of personal property and wealth, abortion, welfare, homosexuality and other moral deviancies are all contrary to the scriptures.

    To any extent that they might believe in a god, at best, they follow the number one false religion, that of works, being “good enough” to make it to through the pearly gates.

    Maybe some Christians truly don’t believe that it’s being true to their profession of faith in Christ to vote for the lesser of two evils, which, btw, the last time I checked, is still evil. The way I see it, not voting for either of these two really bad choices, is a vote against a corrupt system. Besides, no politician is ever going to save this country, only fairh in Christ can tirn this nation back from the cliff. But hey, if you think Trump’s your messiah, or stockpiling 7 years worth of food will save you, then by all means, carry on brother. My trust will be placed in Christ alone.

  • TheCogitator

    Hillary is evil and corrupt. How could anyone in their right mind vote for her?

    • just thinking out loud

      Same way evangelicals voted for George W Bush to get us into a bunch of middle east wars. Do you think a million dead iraqi children mean nothing either?

  • jakartaman

    Choice between
    One who talks crude
    or ones that act and hurt people and are in fact criminals
    Drain the swamp folks!!!

  • Guest

    Wasn’t George Bush an evangelical/born again Christian? Remember what he did?
    Evilvangelicals would be a better name for such a wicked religion that teaches that all you have to do is accept Jesus Christ without obeying his commandments.
